Best Western Plus Pineville-Charlotte South

Stayed here for a one night layover thanks to a flight delay. Would have given a one star except the front desk clerk who was cheerful and helpful despite my arrival at 1am. The room was the worst I've seen with an overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. Also it had old stained carpeting, scrape marks on the door lock, only 1 of 4 lamps working, and no toilet paper.

Worst hotel in many ways… smells like piss and smoke.. room had been broken into prior to my stay.. manager zero professional… never cleaned room once after I asked twice.. complete total disaster.. ABOID AT EVERY CHANCE YOU CAN!! I have pics also

Check-in was unusually slow, the staff was not greeted. The hotel rooms were extremely dirty. The floors had stains, the walls were filthy, many of our rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. One of the rooms still had ashes all over the floor. Most of our rooms had 2 or more light bulbs out and one of our rooms had the sun shade off and leaned against the wall in the corner. The walls, air conditioners and cabinets were unreasonable dirty, with so many stains, liquids and gunk on everything. Pictures on website are misleading.

Our stay did not start well. Check in took over 20 minutes and at one point there were 6 people waiting to check in or purchase snacks. When it was my turn to check in I was told they didnt have a reservation for me...I showed them my confirmation on my phone. A few minutes later my reservation appeared. We went to our room and found it to be less than spotless . There was pealing plaster on the ceiling and dead insects on the shelf above the air conditioner. The lamp shades were loose and tlting, and there was show dirt on the bathroom floor. On the positive side, the breakfast seemed to be well run.

Kristen was phenomenal, not only did she give suggestions on local restaurants and attractions she went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. She had a friendly attitude, and prioritized her guests. Would definitely recommend best western pineville. Was in a nice location accessible to both Charlotte and South Carolina , near restaurants and stores

I enjoyed the room at the hotel there the king bed was very comfortable, room was clean and the shower head was very relaxing some of the breakfast was good and the times that they served it, coffee in the lobby was great. Some of the staff was helpful The TV got the movie channels I enjoy. The amenities were nice . I did like the use of the laundry area when I needed to wash and dry my clothles. Just need to make sure the elevator works a lot better, make sure guests are polite that they don't throw there laundry in with someone else's and make sure all amenities and payments for staying were best western plus pineville is always correct. Other than all those things mentioned it was comfortable nice stay.

I really enjoyed my stay, I extremely loved the breakfast every morning I will say that was my favorite part of the stay. The staff were very friendly. I also liked the fact it was in walking distance of the mall.

My money was stolen with the staff in this Hotel. The manager didn't care and just told me will investigate. I will report to the Best western head office shortly. My trip was unpleasant and it was a very bad experience with this hotel.

This is the Disgusting place Best Western Hotel i ever stayed at, the place is garbage, and don't stay here at all. I saw people come here in the morning just to eat breakfast and leave and no body cared at all. Night Crew don't answer phone calls at all they are out in the front smoking cigarettes'. went to the front desk in the morning asked for a room service the lady was in the back office and didn't even care to come to front desk to talk to me about my concern, only had a room service once in the entire week. Screw this damn place, on my 5th day i tried to use my microwave in my room and didn't' work and i was told i should told them before and was very very disrespected by an employee from Front desk by the name of MAY. I'm 100% calling the Cooperate for this issue, and want my DAMN MONEY BACK . If you step out at night and you will see HOOKERS coming in and out of this damn hotel. This locations breakfast sucks, They only Elevator doesn't work properly at all. After asking for room service, they still put the same damn bed sheets on instead of changing them after a week long stay. This place SUCKS DONT NOT STAY HEREE AT ALL. IF YOU HAVE TO SLEEP IN YOUR CAR INSTEAD YOU WILL BE BETTER. IF ITS UP TO ME I WOULD RATE THEM -10 STARS. ****** HOLE PLACE

I would not recommend this hotel. The first room I checked in had a dead roach in the room. Yes I was given a 2nd room but it wasn't that great. The shower head sucked and lighting in the room is horrible. The towels had lint all over me and strong smell of vinegar.

I like this location. It is close enough to the theme park (Carowinds) and easier to get to. I like the walking trail across the street and there is a big mall close by. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

The people driving around the parking lot appeared to be living in their car along with other people wandering around made me feel very unsafe staying here. The rooms had a bad odor with a strong sewer smell in the bathroom. I had to keep the bathroom door closed. The room appeared clean yet it had a bad odor.

Fell below expectations. In town for a dance workshop… didn't spend much time in the room. The few things we needed… breakfast, room microwave and coffee pot below par. Staff not helpful or maybe overwhelmed.. looked like a lot of maintenance/repairs going on and short staffed. The 3 days we needed a cart one never available. We saw one on our floor first night… same person had it over 2 hours.

Don't do business here. Very unprofessional General Manager. Other staff members. Front desk is friendly. They have alot of pressure on them. Expect for them to be short staffed but this is also due to bad management. The General Manager David runs them over. It's a over all disgusting low class. The owner Sheree needs to do better. General management David as well.

Great clean place with closeness to restaurants and a mall. Only thing was housekeeping forgot to give us pillows but the front desk worker was quick to resolve it. Pool is nice and quiet with a wall there. Little weird breakfast was on the second floor but it was pretty good quality for a free breakfast.

The hotel was good. Staff was nice and very helpful especially with large groups. 1 issue was my room and a moldy odor, but all the other rooms of family I visited at the hotel did not have a stinch. 1

We travel from Minnesota for the NASCAR race, as we have been doing since 2017. We have stayed here almost every year, last year we did try somewhere else since the year before was disappointing. I would like to say I think they have gotten things back to being normal. Pool was up and running even thought it was rainy and 60 degrees. Breakfast wasn't the worst, I like the hot and cold choices they have, they do have a waffle maker. Staff was very nice to us. Only downfalls would be the guests who might live there who leave piles of trash outside their room as well as bedding. They also get special treatment with breakfast and get plates of hot food sent with a family member. This happened at least 3 of the 4 days we were there. Hoping they keep it going the way it is now because we will be back!

It was pretty standard fare for a BW, but the location is great for breaking up a trip. The surrounding area has all of the usual suburban chains. However, it's not that congested and very easy to get around. It's a little dated. Be that as it may, it was clean and great band for the buck.

Quiet, clean room, convenient location that was easy off and the highway. Walking track adjacent. Hearty breakfast with many choices of hot and cold foods and a kind staff who listened and helped when asked.

I was traveling to the area to watch my son's Championship SAC lacrosse game. I stayed here for the location - it wasn't the cheapest or the closest but it seemed cute enough. It was not a great experience. I had issues making changes and getting refunded for unused nights (as in, paid for ones I wasn't there but they happily added a night...) when the weather moved the games -- act of God storms apparently don't qualify. The room was GROSS. Food on the floor from prior inhabitants. Something that was maybe a raisin but I wasn't touching/examining too close and rice. Bugs smashed on the wall and just never wiped off. I don't require much, stayed at plenty of 'shabby' motels. But I wouldn't take your socks off here. Random ticking noises at night. And the dumpsters get picked up overnight...2 or 3am overnight.

Hotel manager was Great!! Greeted me when he seen me. The front desk check-in lady super nice. She was very professional and I enjoyed our conversation. Breakfast was good. The kitchen lady polite. Things they did not have she accommodated me upon asking. Overall Great location.

We are platinum members of Best Western Rewards and have stayed at many BWPlus sites. This facility does not measure up to the Plus standard. Paint is chipped in the room; a socket plate is missing; there was a candy wrapper under a pillow; someone's Xmas gift was under a chair; and there is garbage hidden behind the nightstand. The list could be longer. The Best Western brand has been so much improved lately - this place would have a difficult time qualifying as a basic version of the brand.

First and last time. The elevator was not working, smelled weed everywhere. We booked weeks ahead for a rate and when I checked my credit card, I was charged more than previously reserved for. When went down to the FD to discuss the issue, the representative had a bad attitude and told us that the rate changed because "there was an event in town". Manager (I believe so, she seemed nice) came out and said she would fix it, never happened. Learned that every Best Western is individually owned and managed; it seems that their system is near inexistent. (Called customer service before going to FD to discuss charge, they said I had to deal with FD, she could not do anything about it). We travel a lot, I'll sleep in my car before stepping foot into any other Best Western, not worth the headache. The room itself was fine, we stayed at a Jr King Suite.

I received 5 star customer service at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent and it had a variety of choices. The staff is very nice. The rooms are very clean and the furniture is very nice. They even have a laundry facility for the guest.

This is a convenient stop for us on our way back from Florida to Michigan. The location is very nice and the premises are well maintained. I think this is a very old property so the room, corridors etc.. looked dated and need thorough cleaning (particularly the carpet), but the rest of the place looked well managed. Overall, it was a nice place to stop for the overnight stay. Breakfast was very nice, too.

Illegal and unsafe substances found in room and owner refuses to take responsibility. Unfortunately durning the course of my daughters playing in the suite, they dropped a toy and it went under the sofa. I reached underneath the sofa to retrieve the toy, and not only got the toy but also brought up a ziplock bag with marijuana but also a small black case that had a white powdery substance in it, the white powder spilled on the carpet. I called for my husband and he decided to clean the unknown substance to protect my young daughters from exposure. I called Pineville Police Department non-emergency to have an law enforcement officer properly dispose of the illegal narcotics. This came after the properties phone lines were down and we could not call about our reservation for more than 12 hours. When I called the property around 3:30pm and spoke with a young lady, I made the request to switch our room and explained the difficulty in making contact with the property. The front desk attendant advised that there were “overbooked” and that there were no more double queen rooms but we could switch to a single king room. My wife asked if the rate that was quoted by Booking.com of $278+ taxes for the double queen room would be the same rate as the single king room. The front desk attendant confirmed that was the correct price for the dates of 09/02-09/05/22. We started the check in process and I gave her my card to charge the room. After she swiped, I asked her what was the total amount charge since it should have been cheaper that the king suite. But my amount charged was the same as the king suite. When I asked why that was the case she told me it would have been more expensive because other things would have to be done. We ended up leaving a day early because of the stress and aggravation that this property caused us as well as a constant cloud of marijuana in the common areas, halls and parking lots. It's not really what I would call child friendly.

Undercooked meat. Once it's gone it's gone. First come first serve Dirty vases(juice holders). No hot water. Elevator stopped working. The location is great. No shade on the windows 6:30-7am woken up by the sun. - Not every room but the more than a few were missing shades-thick curtains. Only had sheer curtains.

There is lots of moisture damage throughout the room. There is an abundance of damage and mold in the bathroom. It looked as though the top of the inside of the toilet had never been cleaned. Mold about 1/4” thick all around the rim. Sticky floors, which for carpet is slightly disturbing. I know humidity is a pain but there are options.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past with no issues. Not this time. We stayed overnight so my daughter & a friend could catch a flight on Sat morning. We arrived around 8:30pm. When we got ready to take a shower, we found out we only had 1 washcloth & 2 towels for 4 people. I had to go down to the front desk to get more. After getting out of the shower my wife finds out there is no hair dryer. She also said there was mold on the ceiling above the shower. My wife,daughter, & friend go down to breakfast the next morning at 7am(the time it opens on Sat) to find out they don't have all the breakfast out. They had to leave by 7:30 to catch their flight. Also while my wife & I were eating breakfast, a lady walked in with a small dog in her arms (in a no pets hotel). After getting her table she proceeds to get her food without washing her hands. On top of that, then the dog comes walking around the eating area. That is fine at your own home, but not in a public area where people eat. After this experience, I'm not sure I would stay at this hotel again.

Great room and affordable. Very friendly. Highly recommend with all the close amenities Staff was very friendly. Rooms were great for a couple. The dining in the immediate area is also a huge plus. Definitely worth the value.

Hotel is conveniently located near the highway, many restaurants and shopping areas. Rooms are clean and quiet. The pool is clean and warm. Lots of deck chairs. Poll towels available at front desk. Breakfast offers lots of choices including fresh fruit. Dining area is large and clean.

First, the staff. Both the night and the day desk staff were fantastic. Kudos to the night clerk who had to deal with the wild children and rude parents. She remained professional through the whole ordeal while being the only employee on a fully booked holiday weekend. The room was great. We had a corner king room. Very clean. Minor cosmetic issue in the bathroom (mismatched plaster repair on the wall) but clearly remodeled. I loved the pull down shade. Much better than black out curtains. Water pressure and temperature range were perfect. The bed was too firm for my liking but that's on me. Hotel in general: great location, quiet (located across from a nature trail), decent breakfast (loved the sliced fruit). The only negative was the broken elevator - nothing they could do on a holiday weekend. I had to climb 4 floors but not a major problem. Stairwell could have used a good cleaning but overall clean hotel.

This is one your number one places to go to if you need to relax you buy everything right across street from the mall by every restaurant even have a pool if I have fresh breakfast no complaints just Phenomenal

The service we experienced during our stay was fabulous! The room was clean and comfortable, we have no complaints! The location was excellent! We were visiting Charlotte to attend our granddaughters' track meet. The location of the school were only 8 miles away!!! Afterward, getting something to eat was a breeze, considering the location of the Hotel and its surrounding restaurants. What we liked best is hard to state, because everything was wonderful!!!

We booked this hotel for me to stay at to get ready for my wedding, for the wedding night and for around 20 wedding guests flying and driving into town from all around the country. My room was nice, but half of the room didn't have electricity, including the microwave and refrigerator, which caused my food to go bad and some of the outlets unusable for wedding preparations. Many of my guests had issues with their bookings and rooms, forcing some of them to go to other hotels last minute after traveling long distances. My parents got booked in a room which someone already was staying causing an embarrassing situation. No compensation was given to me or to my parents. One guest did get a discount. Some of the ladies at the front were very nice, but they seemed understaffed and stretched thin.

The room was not fully clean. Shower did not work correctly. Staff was not very friendly. Only 1 key card worked. Couldnt check in not even a minute early. Breakfast and the area of hotel were ok but will definitely not stay again. Wifi was spotty at best and wad just not satisfied for what i paid

I stayed here for one night. Upon arrival the front desk was fine...not overly friendly but not rude. We got a room next to the elevator and it was not clean. The carpet was dirty, the paint in bathroom was peeling off with signs of moisture damage, stains on walls. We called the front desk to request a different room and they were nice enough to give us another room on same floor. When we walked to New room it wasn't ready...the house keeping was still in the room making beds. So that was frustrating. We ended up waiting by the elevator with our luggage for Bout 20 minutes till they were done. When we got into 2nd room given to us it was a little better but in the shower there was a wet dirty face towel hanging over the shower curtain from previous tenant!! I was disgusted. It had brown who knows what all over and hair! There was also no hair dryer in room which I needed since I don't pack one since most hotels carry them in rooms standard now days. Surfaces in room definitely weren't wiped down regularly. I don't understand the good reviews on this hotel because it wasn't clean. Also the ice machines were out of order and unplugged from wall with obvious holes in drywall from damage. I wish ppl had warned me before I booked here. I'm a best western member and have stayed at other best western hotels in the past with out issues. I'm disappointed.

The worst experience ever at this hotel in Pineville. The neighbors next door were smoking in the room and hotel staff didn't care at all. I called the customer service the next day however nobody assisted me with my complaint or called me back! Extremely poor breakfast. Very dirty hallways and elevator. away from this hotel brand!

Overall not bad at all and very reasonably priced, staff was always available when I called before I booked all the way through my stay. Breakfast was easy and staff was available to help. I almost wish we were here during the Summer because they have a nice outdoor pool, that would've put the icing on the cake!

Pathetic Horrible employees at desk. One hateful nasty colored girl even brings her children to work and they run unattended she was sitting there texting socially while I stood there waiting for help. It was unbelievable.

This Best Western is overall clean and sanitary for covid traveling restrictions. Everything is clean on a daily basis and is safe for you and your family. If you are in the Charlotte / Pineville area this is the one to go with, weather on business or leisure.

I booked here because of all the great reviews that I saw online, but this hotel has bed bugs… I woke up around 4am on Thanksgiving night to find bed bugs crawling on the bed sheet, pillow and blanket in room 412. Very disgusting! I was transferred to a new room (#308) that night. The new room had issues with housekeeping issues (stain on bed sheet, used tissue behind door, lighting not working). I did not stay because I was afraid and already bitten by bed bugs. I was charged at check-out, but the lady at the front desk recommended that I call later to talk to the General Manager since he wasn't around. I called a day later, but the Manager wasn't there… To make the story worst, I received an email from the General Manager (David Bean) letting me know that “The room you occupied was checked and bugs were not found by a professional exterminator.” This statement comes after I showed evidence of bed bugs that I killed and brought to the front desk at 4am (the night of the incident). The lady who was at the front desk even came to my room that night… What bothers me the most is that Management does not want to take responsibility – maybe due negligence or bad faith. Because of that they will expose other guests to this infestation, which is terrible... Please stay away.

On multiple night stays, room is not cleaned or bed made citing Covid. You are expected to do all those on your own while paying for it. In other parts of country, they are proving hot breakfast, but this location doesn't ,again Covid. Note before you reserve.

Need more choice for breakfast. Other than that was a great stay.Nice staff. Helpful and professional. Great prices and nice rooms to choose from .No choice of breakfast just a brown paper bag I believe that could be improved

I travel back and forth between northern Michigan and Florida about every six months,and the first night of this journey from Florida to Michigan is always spent at this facility. David,the general manager runs a "tight ship",and this place is always clean and quiet.The counter person when I checked in was "Woo" and she was both thoughtful and attentive to the extent that she checked out the room before giving it to me.Nice not to have any hassles after a long day diving.:) I'll be back through here in about two weeks when I return to Florida,and I'll be staying here as I always do.

Definitely the worst Best Western I've ever stayed at if not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at! They advertise full hot breakfast thats a lie you get a doggie bag not fit for a dog.No express check in they actually made me wait till 3 don't come early.2nd floor ice machine was out of order.They put me in a room that the main light didn't work.The front desk employees were lazy and no help.Hotel manager was rude. A employee at the hotel stole my bathing suit that I left hanging on the shower curtain rod when I checked out!Their supposed to turn it in to the front desk very expensive Lacoste won't never stay there again.

I would honestly not stay at this loaction again. Constant smell of weed, not that i have an issue with people smoking it, i just prefer not to smell especially when its the ENTIRE stay. Lobby was bland. recepsionist was somewhat friendly buy with the attitude the manager seemed to have it must have rubbed off on her. Bathroom floors SUPER SLICK almost fell a few times. light in room was flickering even when it was powered off.

The "grab and go" breakfast was yogurt and a juice box. No other options like fresh fruit, muffins,...etc. The internet was bad. If you could connect you would get dropped a few minutes later. I had to use my phone as a hotspot to stay connected.

Cleanliness- Tv- 40” ~60 channels with easy channel ID. Bed= both are very firm and one you could hear and feel the springs in the mattress. Pillows= standard and soft. Heating and air=Has fan option Bonus- Has Keurig coffee maker. Shower/bath= both, shower has 3 settings but water pressure not adjustable. Only 2 scratchy towels, washcloths and 1 hand towel (pretty sorry). Bathroom smells of old urine. The tub/shower is very slippery so be cautious. Toiletries= nice smelling citrus scent. Well lite= Yes, LED and CFL (too bad) lights. Laundry= Unknown Breakfast= Horrible. no signs, but 7-9:30 STILL to go?? We've stayed at other hotels and they have a real breakfast so really no excuse to be giving your guests this lousy breakfast of water and crumb cake with banana (see pic). Bonus kick: They have this huge breakfast area on the 2nd floor that is completely going to waste (see pics) Restaurant= none Business Center= yes (see pic) View= Nice from the top floor, just see the tree tops. Pool= Empty (see pic) Hot tub= no Suana= no Fitness room.= unknown, probably closed like everything else STILL is at this location. Location= close to 485 so easy to get to but far enough away that I couldn't hear the traffic (but I do run the constant fan though) Price was- $95.69 with Hotels dot com. Parking-free Hints- Ask for towels upon check in Summery- At a minimum, they need to get inline with the rest of the chains and open breakfast before we stay again. Eco-friendly practices=lights led but still using CFL (not good). Water pressure was good but unable to adjust the shower pressure. Issues= Terrible breakfast, room smelled bad. Covid- Staff wore masks and amenities all appear to be still closed except the business center. INFO= A little about me… I have given over 100 reviews to TripAdvisor so you can count an honest review from a family man with 2 boys perspective. As you can tell, with all the details put in my review, it is very time consuming but we use TripAdvisor reviews before we book, so I am doing this to help you. This hotel is clean and comfortable. It also make us feel at home.i will stay here again.Its in the middle of everything nothing is to far away perfect spot to stay. Also right back the mall and good food places.

Great service all the way around. Nice, quiet location. We had quick check in and checkout. The breakfast To Go bags were ready at check out and were sufficient. The bed was moderately firm, so suited me. We have stayed here before and will probably stay again.

Stayed at this hotel 3/18/21 for three nights. Room had terrible cigarette smell, including the bathroom. Couldn't change rooms as hotel was full. Disgusting!!! Room hallways and elevator looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in ages! We had no housekeeping service and there was no extra toilet paper in room. Went to front desk twice for help, but the sign said, “Sorry we are away helping another guest - sorry for inconvenience”. Probably the worst hotel experience we ever had. Previous high reviews must have been from the past. Never again - and this is my first and last Best Western stay. Should be called “Best Western Stay Away”.

Pretty sure this place is used for prostitution on top of it stinking of cigarette and weed smoke... broken outlets, missing towels, no sheets and the management is a rude joke. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! NASTY RUDE GROSS

There were bits and pieces of the previous occupants left behind by the cleaning crew—I know for certain because I changed rooms at check-in! The toilet bowl at my current room is badly stained—I was told by an employee it's due to their sewer !

I routinely travel between Florida and northern Michigan several times a year,and after driving for eight hours,I want to check in at a place I'm familiar with,and not have any hassles,or misunderstandings. I also get to know the staff at every place,and when it comes to this place,you want to get to know "Theresa." (sp?). She listens well,and understands what matters. I recently stayed here during my travels,and because neither the TV,nor the internet worked in the first room I was assigned,the management upgraded me to a King Suite,just down the hall. I appreciated that courtesy,but the next morning when I checked out,the final room charge was for the King Suite at full price,instead of the room charge for the room I was originally assigned. I asked the desk clerk that morning to correct it,but apparently his security level wasn't adequate enough to effect the corrective change. After five phone calls to this place,with as many stories, I finally connected with Theresa,who took care of the overcharge on the first call. Like I said,ask for Theresa! ...I just hope that's her actual name, because I'm a little hard of hearing,but that said I know what good help is,and Theresa is. Thanks, Theresa! ...See ya next time!

Stayed at this place on the way back from Florida,and overall,it was a pleasant stay,but some improvements could be made. On arrival, the staff was very cordial,and the facility appeared neat and clean. Not easy to find,but with GPS these days,it's a moot point. My room request for a quiet room was nicely adhered to,and I had a room on the second floor, far down the hallway,away from the elevators,and ice machine. Somewhat an irritation that both the ice machine on the second and first floor were broken,so I had to use the one on the third floor. Room felt a little smaller than other Best Western Pluses,but it was impeccably clean,and everything was in order.The shower/bath really needs a non slip surface. Not being too critical here,but the "Grab n Go" alternative breakfast could use some improvement.Some thought needs to go into a better product offering than the present one. ...Maybe management could get some ideas from other Best Western Plus hotels,considering the limitations during this virus problem that eliminated the hot breakfasts. That said, I recommend this place,and will likely return this fall.

This is our second visit to this Best Western and it will be our last. We were here last August 2019 and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was on an upper floor, it was large, clean and comfortable. The best sleep ever in a hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book again. So this trip we booked using points to pay for our stay. That was our mistake. When we arrived I told the young lady at the desk how happy we were to be back and looked forward to our stay. She smiled and gave us our room assignment. Room 106. On the surface, it looked like our previous room, same decor. Much smaller with no counter space at all in the bathroom. It was as clean as our first stay so we decided to stay and make the best of it. The bed is awful, terrible and really, really hard. I didn't sleep, my back hurt. I spent most of the night tossing and turning. I don't believe that the linens were the same as our previous room. I knew the pillows weren't the same. Pillows are small and generally not good. Just awful. I was awake most of the night. My thoughts, I understand that management wants to save the best rooms for guests who pay full price or book through the hotel's website, but it's unfair to punish people who use 3rd party vendors and provide them with uncomfortable bedding. The bedding should be the same throughout the entire hotel. If I hadn't been to this Best Western before I would not have known the difference. But I have been here before and because of the way were treated, we won't be back.

Was able to book this location with a delighted surprise. Rooms are clean as is common areas . Great price for a renovated room! Breakfast selection was a plenty and it was a quiet hotel. I would recommend this location as it is close to highway and problem free

Good room with a comfortable bed and good lighting in the bathroom, however a night light of some kind would have been good in the bathroom.. Nice breakfast. Kind front desk staff to a tired traveler as I had been traveling through heavy rain for about 10 hours.

Booked this for one night to attend a local dinner show. Was extremely impressed with the property. Wish all Best Western's were this level. Front desk staff very friendly. Hotel is located within short distance of shopping center, restaurants and other outdoor activities. Our room was very nice, comfortable bed, clean, and did not notice outdoor noise althougth we were close to the interstate. Will definately stay at this location again if in the area.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The staff is wonderful, housekeeping does an excellent job at keeping the rooms very clean, and the breakfast area was also very clean with so many choices. The people working in the breakfast area kept everything filled up. On our first day there they had an outage and our key wouldn't work, and we had to be let in our room my housekeeping everytime we left and came back. That was kind of a pain, but no one can control outages so that wasn't their fault. Neither of us slept much due to a loud clicking noise in our room. We never could figure out where it was coming from, but we are both light sleepers so it may not bother someone that isn't a light sleeper. If the TV or air/heat was on you couldn't hear it as much, but once we turned those off it drove us crazy, especially me. I didn't tell anyone at the motel about it, or ask to be moved, so again I have no issue toward the motel staff. I loved that you can get fresh coffee 24/7 in the lobby. That is very nice. The motel is close to shopping and several restaurants. It's around 15 minutes from Interstate 77. I would definitely stay here again, but if I heard that clicking noise I would definitely have them investigate what it was. This is the only reason they didn't receive 5 stars from me.

Service from Checking in and housekeeping was wonderful. Staff was respectful, friendly and very helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and fresh. The reception area/lobby and the breakfast areas were all decorated nicely, neat and clean. And we really enjoyed the delicious hot breakfast.

I enjoyed an equisite escape at Best Western. Recent job and family related pressures and disappointments brought the need for an escape. When we arrived the room was spotless and the lobby looked very nice. Makes you feel like you are welcomed! The front desk staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone who worked in the hotel always greeted you with a smile!

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom could definitely use more lighting! Breakfast was just ok: eggs, sausage patties, boiled eggs, yogurt, biscuits, Cheerios, Raisin Bran and a waffle maker. Could have definitely used some gravy to go with the biscuits. Over all nice clean stay for the night. Close to carowinds.

Had a great evening, room was clean and the desk clerks were great! The only thing we did not like was the toilet paper. It is pretty rough!! Breakfast room didn't have any air circulating through, so we took our food back to our room.

My job required me to overnight in a hotel. I requested to stay at this location as a result of positive experiences in the past. As normal, I was 100 percent satisfied with the ease of checking in as well as the room being clean, well stocked, and the bed being very comfortable.

Very nice, reasonably priced hotel. Located in a nice area where there are restaurants and shopping. Room and bathroom was clean. Bed was a little hard for me but felt fine to my friend. Air conditioning worked great and the outside temps were in the 90's during my stay. Breakfast was great and had a large variety of choices. I will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was delightful. The staff were courteous and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a great option vs eating it. It was always hot and ready. Hotel overall worth the stay.

We stayed here on our daughter's college road trip. We stayed in many locations between Atlanta and Pennsylvania and this was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at. It was in a nice quiet location but still had easy access to many shops and restaurants. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There were many amenities as well as a low rate which made the whole experience very pleasant. There is a nice Asian restaurant next door which we walked to (it was literally about 20 feet away) and had a nice dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Charlotte area.

We were very happy with our stay here. Hotel was nice and clean, people were great, food was great, pool was great. Nothing bad could be said. Vending machine drinks were only $1! Who sells cokes for $1 anymore?!? Will stay here again for sure.

This motel is in a quiet location near shopping, etc.. We had great service at check in and check out. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the pillows fine. Nice fluffy towels in the bathroom. Breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. NO complaints about this motel.

We stayed almost a week in the same Hotel and we have experienced an extreme pleasant surprice. Very friendly staff. A quiet nice location. Excellent service! Nice and clean. If we come back from Belgium, we will certainly come again.

Do not stay here. This place sucks. Customer service sucks and they are liars. They double booked and there a family of 4 got booted to a king with sofa. Yea the sofa is twin. So one kid on the floor, no extra pillows or blankets for the sleeper sofa. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Polished turd is all this Bestern Western Plus is.

This hotel was located perfect for what we needed. Off a main street in a quiet area. Near restaurants, retail stores, and an inter-state highway. Our room was clean and spacious. The only negative is that the dining area is on the 2nd floor. If your room is on that floor you will get the aroma of cooked food in your room..

Customer service is lacking. Very rude when you don't understand something and then will talk to other customers about you. Rooms were dirty, trash under sofa sleeper and mold around the bathroom door.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It had everything we needed for the short stay. Their breakfast was pretty decent. There was a variety of items to select from. The room was comfortable and very clean.

I'm fortunate I had a friend and my company was paying for my trip because the room had crumbs and leftover food in there. Shower and lights need repair, no hair dryer and the heater kept smelling like it was burning

We selected the hotel based on reviews, price, and proximity to CLT. It was about a 25 minute ride to the airport and completely worth being out a tad bit farther than other hotels considering the better price! Everything was clean well working. The staff at the front desk was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Overall satisfied. Found used soap in shower when I checked in. 2 days out of 8 I did not receive room service even though “Do not disturb” door hanger was removed by 11am. Don't know if it needs to be removed sooner in the morning to receive service. Breakfast is supposed to be served from 7-10am but by 9-9:15am most items (biscuits, 2%milk, juice, sausage/bacon) were gone and not refilled. Other than those 2 issues I enjoyed my stay. Clean, safe property and friendly staff. Good value for the money.

Let me start by saying I relied on TripAdvisor seeing this place had such great reviews, The Front Desk clerk had terrible customer service, I felt unsafe as they announced my room number outloud for a bunch of strangers to hear! But that was not the highlight of my stay! I was greeted by roaches and hair n my shower, I immediately left and didn't even let the desk know, I gave them what they gave me ,, which was Nothing! Save yourself the headache stay somewhere else

I look forward to staying with these folks. The management and staff are great here. They make work easy. I also stay here when working in Charlotte. A must try if you are visiting this area. I like the mall across the street also

My family so enjoyed there stay at the Best western. They didnt want to leave. Planning another trip already. Beds were comfortable. Service was great. Breakfast for my husband was to die for he made sure he got it every morning.

Excellent hotel. Clean, well-staffed, quiet, good location, great breakfast. We stayed over after visiting a local motorcycle shop. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends. The only drawback - the desk will sell you a 12oz bottle of water for $1.50 while the dispenser on every floor has 20oz for a dollar. My bad.

A day after checking out of the Best Western Plus in Pineville, NC , we realized my elderly mother had left her purse in our room. My mom is 87, she is a recent widow and was in the process of moving to my home, 4 hrs from Pineville. It would be devastating to lose her ID and other valuables! The response to my call was rapid! Within minutes after discerning my identity, I was assured that they had my mom's purse and within a few days it was shipped to us, intact with everything in place! Obviously everyone involved from the housekeeper who found the purse, to the front desk and management staff who had a hand in securing and shipping it to my home showed great professionalism and integrity! I cannot thank them enough! I highly recommend staying in this superior hotel where every employee showed exemplary customer service!

Wasn't to pleased with my stay. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. I completed the survey. Manager contacted me via email with apologies. I asked if I could be credited back some of the monies. Manager told me she would look into it and notify me of outcome. WELL, that NEVER happened. Nasty bathroom and nasty customer service!

The hotel was a resonable distance from the Nascar track. Restaurants were located very close by. Rooms were nice The only issue I had was that the breakfast was not as nice as the other Best Westerns I have stayed at.

The hotel was excellent, clean, bright and very nicely decorated. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful especially when I left my Ipad behind and they express mailed it to my next location so that I had it before I flew back to Arizona.

Was here exactly 12 months ago to the day, and nothing has changed, still the great , efficient and friendly staff, still the ultra clean and comfy rooms, still the good quality breakfast every morning. Late check out (2pm) was no problem at all. I'll be back, again!

The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good. The elevator seemed old and was slow. We travel with my daughters soccer team so it would have been nice to have a guest washer and dryer to use.

Recently stayed here while in town for a family event. Very clean, comfortable hotel with super friendly staff. Nice breakfast room and offerings. The pool gets the afternoon and evening sun, so it's a great spot to hang out later in the day. It seems the majority of guests appeared to be business travelers or families in town to visit the nearby Carrowinds amusement park (for which the hotel offers a special on tickets). Shopping mall very close, as well as restaurants and a supermarket (Food Lion). Was able to walk to a post office about a half-mile away, although the area isn't the most walking friendly — use caution and be very aware when crossing streets like the Pineville-Matthews Road and nearby Polk Street. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

We were taking a mini vacation to Carowinds but wanted to stay a little bit out of that congestion. This Best Western was perfect! It was literally just a few right turns to Carowinds' gates, very close to all the fun but quiet and peaceful. We never heard traffic or planes overhead. There's an Asian Bistro next door I sadly did not get to try and plenty of other restaurants and stores in close proximity. There's a mall basically right across the main street. It's a small hotel - only 4 floors - which we liked as well. There's one entrance and you have to walk by the front desk before wandering through the hotel. We felt extremely safe here. The pool door has carded access as well. The pool area has a brick privacy wall on the parking lot side, several seating options and always had towels stocked. It was clean and small but just the right size for the building, as was the breakfast room. It's located on the second floor and we found seating easily every morning. Breakfast is served until 10 am which is a huge, huge plus for me. The free breakfast wasn't gourmet, nor did we expect it to be, but it was good and there was a wide variety of choices. We saw sausage, cheese omelettes, make your own pancakes, muffins, yogurt, cereal, hash browns, biscuits, etc. If you're content with fast food breakfast you'll be fine here. It was kept stocked and cleaned up. The whole hotel was clean. Bathrooms were sparkling, carpets clean, a fresh smell throughout the building. It was renovated a couple years ago and has obviously been kept up well since. Our room had 2 queen beds, an arm chair, a desk and chair, nightstand, dresser with microwave and mini-fridge, a small closet area and several lamps. It was the perfect size for a small family. The beds were firm and the pillows soft which is a perfect combo for my bad back. You won't go without hot water in the shower here either! I only saw/used one elevator but even with the parking lot full one night it was never a slow wait for it. Both staff members we encountered were very nice and the nightly rate was far less than many other hotels with lower ratings in the Charlotte area. I really have 0 complaints. We'll stay here every time we come back to this area.

We had a great stay! Check-in was fast and friendly, it looked like a brand new hotel! Whether it was brand new or renovated, they did a fantastic job. We had a standard 2 Queen bedroom which was very nice and the mattresses were extremely comfortable, even the pillows were nice. I loved the furnishings, the window blind, the Quartz that was used in the bathroom and the dining/breakfast area. Everything looked nice and new, very clean. The hotel had that ‘new car' smell lol! I liked the location as it was next to a Mall and restaurants. And only took 20 minutes to get into downtown Charlotte. The breakfast area was spacious, lots of TV's and seating. The food was all delicious, including; pancakes, eggs, sausages, nice biscuits, fruit, bakery items, coffee etc.... we never got to use the swimming pool or the gym but they both looked great! Overall wonderful stay and will definitely stay again and again

Great location to visit Carowinds, only a couple miles away. Staff was efficient and friendly. Only thing I can complain about is the fact that there are not enough towel racks in the bathroom. If in the area, I would stay again.

Due to moving schedules we had to stay 2 nights to accommodate movers and mortgage closings. This hotel was convenient and close proximity to the Ballantyne area. The hotel was recently upgraded and was clean, quiet, and very nice. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. And very economical, $40 less per night compared to same quality hotels in the Ballantyne area. area.

Stayed here last minute for one night with my family. Very happy with our choice too. Rooms were updated and clean. There is a nice outdoor pool. There are a lot of restaurants around too. Hot breakfast in the morning was delicious with many different options. Would definitely recommend.

Room was just ok. Slow internet service. Huge hand prints on the window that needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was nice. Front desk had multiple issues. Same person both nights. Couldn't locate my rewards membership at first then had issues using travel cards. Also, when your guests stay multiple nights nake sure their room keys allow them to get into their rooms without having to come downstairs to get new ones. It also says a lot when you walk into the building to have that front desk associate look up and greet you. Overall the stay was just ok. I don't know if it was enough to have me choose this particular location again. Just lots of little things that took away from the experience.

This hotel is quet, just behind a shopping plaza. The hall has a nice smell and there is coffee/the to go. Our room wasn't very big but good enough for 1 day stay, carpet has a humidity smell, and a/c unit a bit noisy. Good bathroom. Breakfast so-so, nice staff at reception.

The issues was corrected in minutes and they made sure to inquire if the correction made was up to my satisfaction during my stay. Liked the Lobby area of the motel. Breakfast was typical of a free Motel breakfast. Enjoyed looking at the Pictures along the hallways and in the Room. Check-in and Check-out were easy. In-room Internet worked well. Motel far enough off the Interstate to be fairly quiet.

Staff were very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Loved the fact that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. A breakfast buffet was included, which had a good variety of food. It would have been nice if a non dairy milk was available. Overall a very nice stay.

A nice place to stay. Although I have been there multiple times off-season, I would recommend this location to anyone needing accommodations near and around Pineville. The access to this hotel is easy and it is not far from the airport if needed.

I stayed here on several occasions for work meetings. I thought this was a fantastic value for the money - it's close to the mall and several restaurants. The rooms were clean and the free breakfast was very good. I'd recommend this when traveling and you just want a great overall value. Nothing fancy but something clean, well maintained, safe and very friendly staff.

This is a great place. The service was excellent, check in and check out were breeze. The room was very clean and modern. It was very quiet. The breakfast was great with a full selection of hot items that were well stocked.

This hotel looks freshly renovated. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept on for a while. Squeaky clean bathroom and soft towels. Staff was pleasant. Torrence at Front desk was one of the nicest persons I have encountered. Excellent customer service start to finish. Breakfast had a nice variety--one morning cheese omelettes and the next sausage gravy w/biscuits and always plenty of muffins, cereals, fruit and yogurt. I stayed here one night last week, the Hotel staff greeted me warmly when I arrived. They had my arrival packet ready as I had booked online 2 days previous, I was in my room within 5 minutes of arrival. I checked out the room and it was very clean. The location was pretty quit and there are several restaurants close by. I was not as thrilled by the breakfast offerings, the breakfast is usually one of the reasons I choose BW hotels. They had link sausage in place of bacon, pre-made egg "omelets" that were clearly out of a freezer bag, the boiled eggs looked they they had each been handled by tongs a half dozen times, there was no waffle maker, etc. etc.. I may give them another try but there seems to be a lot of competition in the area.

Stayed her because we were looking for a place to crash after moving our son. What a find! The room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Loved the lighting in the bathroom. It even has a keurig coffee maker. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed at this hotel on a business during a winter "storm" which may have resulted in lower occupancy than usual and impacted my impression. For example although I stayed on first floor in a room next to exercise room, I found it a quiet hotel. Highlights:Nice lobby, above average breakfast offerings, roomy breakfast area (though odd design), clean room, everything worked properly (fast WiFi), lots of hot water with high pressure, nearby stores and restaurants (recommend Sky Asian Bistro next door). Minor negatives: did not acknowledge elite status and did hear train horn in middle of the second night but might be related to weather. Will return to this hotel next time I'm in the area.

This used to be a Holiday Inn Express and I was a little concerned when it changed ownership, but it is better than ever. Nice clean rooms, great staff, pretty good free breakfast (although I do miss the Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls). The rooms have a nice blackout shade in the window and the HVAC unit has a continuous fan setting for white noise. The beds are very comfortable. We will continue to stay at this location when visiting the Pineville area.

Strong smoke smell in the corridor. At 3:00pm my room had not been cleaned or serviced. I called the front desk and they sent someone who gave me a set of towels and wanted to clean the room, but I said it was too late by then, I had been out of the room since 7:30am and wanted to rest before my meeting that night.

Very nice, modern room and bathroom. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good internet connection. TV, fridge and a Keurig in the room. Friendly people everywhere. Good hot breakfast, biscuits were fantastic. Coffee and cookies all day long. Very impressed.

Looks like a recent remodel. Modern style. Very clean. Quiet considering it is in a busy area. Good breakfast, with a comfortable seating arrangement. Plenty of options for hot or cold items. If you like to shop you are in a location that has a lot of stores/malls. Plenty of options of places to eat in the area as well. If you are solo, it is in a safe area. We will definitely use this Best Western again.

We were heading home to MD and reserved a room online a few hrs before we arrived. Good rate, rooms are very clean and modern in style. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and lots of options. We would stay again.

This hotel was very clean. We always stay in Best Westerns and found this one to be up to good standards. It was also very affordable in price. We would stay here again. It was convenient to places to eat and shop. The traffic is a little heavy in the area but we are from New Jersey and are use to it.

It's a nice hotel. I saw a review that the curtains let in too much light. There's also a shade that can be pulled down that will block almost all light. Some Best Westerns have a bar. This one does not.

Stayed at Best Western Pineville on the way to Florida. Check in process was very good and employee was extremely friendly. Hotel is located close to highway and has numerous amenities surrounding it. Room was nice and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and had a huge variety of choices. Check out process was smooth. Would recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in Charlotte for 30 days and tried several Best Western and SPG hotel, which were fine but, at the last 4 days, I found this one, which is the best! Modern and clean room, hotel team always kind and efficient. Hot breakfast with good meal. Nice gym area. Well located. Best cost benefit for sure!

i was in charlotte for my grandaughter's baby shower. i was happy with the room, cleanliness, use of the computer in lobby, and the breakfast buffet...the staff was very friendly and wanted my stay to be perfect...i appreciate all they did to make it that way

Decided to spend my weekend off from work away from stress. I couldn't have chosen a better hotel to stay in. This particular Best Western is such a big step up from the last one I stayed in. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, modern interior and rooms. The bed was comfortable, and I got the peace and quiet I needed. The staff in the breakfast area were helpful and friendly as well. Conveniently located near the interstate, various restaurants, groceries and a mall. Definitely a fantastic place to stay in without costing you an arm and a leg. Will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Off of the main road and very quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly. Everything appeared updated and clean. Would definitely stay here again. I don't usually stay at Best Western but I was pleasantly surprised with this one.

I was very surprised at the beautifully updated rooms, excellent service I stayed because of the price and location to work, I have sense stayed in a best Western 3 or 4 more times but so far none are as nice as this location

The customer service at this location was amazing. I have never stayed at a Best Western Plus and was prepared to be underwhelmed. Well I was very pleasantly surprised. The lobby decor and over all appearance of the hotel was quite nice. Check in and check out were hassle free. I found each staff member i came in contact with to be friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay her again.

Room was clean and unworn. Common areas in good shape. No problems booking, checking in or out. Quiet and peaceful. Not too big or small. Personnel were competent and friendly. Bed OK. Water pressure left a little to be desired. Breakfast just ok.

This place is truly a hidden gem, especially if you can get a deal on one of the many compare websites. Rooms are always clean and fresh, decor looks new and cared for. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough to please. Breakfast is well presented and the pool looks inviting. I love this place.

This was my second time staying at this Best Western. I always stay at Best Western anytime I travel and this location is by far the best I've stayed at. The breakfast is always good. The staff is friendly and always willingly to help. The room are clean and just overall good.

Very nice place, would stay there again and more than likely will. My daughter is going to college down there. The only thing is the water smells and no water cooler to drink. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast had lots of variety but the sausage not that great. Beds were very comfortable.

This hotel is about half the price of others in the area but still has equal value to all of them! The rooms were clean and updated. To be honest I never really saw the staff, but the breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Felt safe at this hotel - unlike another Best Western in Charlotte. Good rooms, clean, relatively quiet. Very easy to get all around Charlotte and the north part of S.C. because of the location. Very near restaurants and shopping but not in a noisy area.

Room is small with too many items in it. Toilet didn't work well thought it would good several times!! Shower head was facing out when first turned on! So everything got wet. Not really worth the $$. It is very quiet and seemed very clean. Could not figure out how to turn lamps on over bed for reading.

My husband and I were passing through and this was a great spot to stop. This hotel is close to everything- 20 minutes to the Charlotte Airport, across the street from a large mall and right near a lot of smaller shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. Our king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the included breakfast was adequate to get the day off to a good start. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our family recently stayed here for 10 nights whilst my son competed in the BMX World Championships in Rock Hill at the end of July. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The pool was great, especially with the very warm temperatures we experienced, the Carolina Mall is across the road and there are several restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast and parking is included. Breakfast was great every morning and our son particularly enjoyed the pancake machine! The staff were friendly and very helpful, the breakfast staff in the mornings were particularly good - thank you. Great location, great value for money and great stay. Thank you. We loved the Carolinas, it was our 1st visit but hope to return one day soon.

very satisfied It was clean and comfortable. The last night they hosted a couple of kids soccer teams so I had to endure kids running in the halls and stairways. Working nights I had to try and sleep during day, but on last day I gave up and checked out because of the noice.

It wan't the best Best Western ever, but it was probably the second best Best Western I have stayed in. Great location next to the mall and all the restaurants. We went to the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow so this was a good location with quick access to the tournament.

On a two week vacation we struggled to find a decent property for around $100 a night. After refusing to stay at one hotel we booked we found this gem. Clean and updated. Managers present in the lobby to great guests. Decent breakfast, although crowded. Beds were very comfortable. Glad we stumbled across this place.

Recently travelled to North Carolina for the 2017 BMX World Championships in Rock Hill South Carolina. Highly recommend the Best Western Plus, Pineville. Location is fantastic, with shopping centre and numerous restaurants and options for meals. The accommodation is excellent. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, value for money, free parking, free internet, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Loved our stay.

Clean, Roomy, All the outlets you would need. The staff is Awesome. Beds comfy (over slept). Close to Lynx, so you can ride into Charlotte (no need for expensive parking). Stonewall Station is about 5 blks from stadium - when you see the traffic jam after game, you will be extremely happy you took the Lynx. I also appreciated that they used completely bio-degradible sturdy plates at breakfast.

I was happy with the cleanliness and peacefulness of this hotel and found the rooms spacious and well appointed (microwave and fridge were great!) however, the girl who checked us in and whom I took payment for some soft drinks from the lobby on Friday night was so so rude I can't even tell you. You need these receptionists to be the faces of the hotel and be completely welcoming to the guests - not miserable and acting like you are being the biggest hassle to them (by the way, all I did was get two drinks and pay $5 for $3 drinks - pretty straight forward and non taxing). Really would put me off staying here again as I would like a friendly face greeting me when I check in. Really unfortunate and the management should look into this. Breakfast good with a massive selection! Good location for attending the USPGA at Quail Hollow and lots of eateries and things in the surrounding area. Improve the customer Service and everything will be great!

We picked this hotel based on all the great reviews on Trip Advisor and I'm so glad we did!!! We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful, clean hotel!! Stayed one night after playing at Carowinds all day. Staff were all super friendly and courteous (especially the staff member at the breakfast area... wish I would have gotten his name). Breakfast consisted of Pancakes, bacon, sausage patties, eggs, muffins, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit and a few other items. Our room was very clean and smelled nice. No complaints here!! Thanks Best Western, you truly are the BEST!! We'll be back!! Last thing..... price was cheaper to book directly thru the Best Western website..... more expensive if you book thru Trip Advisor.

The Hotel has been remodeled. The staff is nice. The amenities are new. The Hotel should be cleaner. The breakfast tasted like plastic and the floors of the breakfast area were sticky. One of the mornings I had to step over a man in the hallway to access the stairs to go down for breakfast. Apparently it was someone that was not stay at the hotel. It was taken care of upon notifying the front desk.

We stayed here five nights & everything about our stay was great. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast always offered a lot of variety, with scrambled eggs or omelettes, biscuits, sausage or gravy, an automatic pancake machine, cereals, yogurt, fruit, & baked goods. The room was really nice, with a big bathroom & comfortable bed. We will stay here again, the next time we're in the Charlotte area.

The Charlotte, NC Best Western is a great place to stay when travelling to this great city. The front end people, Ricky, Gloria, Michelle and Kia, are very friendly, helpful and professional. I truly enjoyed my stay there.

The room was very nice it was clean and updated. We were hoping the pool was bigger but the kids still had a great time. Ice machine was not working on the first floor and the hallways were warm but that would not effect my decision on staying here again.

We stayed 7/7 - 7/9. We came with a party of 8 and we were able to accommodate everyone. The hotel is small and quaint with 4 floors but renovated with great decor. The rooms were a nice size and I loved the bathrooms. The beds were firm and pillows were comfortable. The WiFi was slow so I just used my data. The pool felt great. The staff was very nice. Didn't get a chance to eat the breakfast. Carowinds is maybe a 10-20 minute drive. Plenty of restaurant choices and a mall across the street. I would stay here if you don't like the hussle and bussle of Charlotte its self.

We just had a 3-day stay at this hotel, which was very well advertised showing wide rooms and excellent breakfast in a spacious area. However, from the first moment we walked into our room we were shocked at how narrow the room was with barely a walking space between the beds and the wall. The AC unit was so loud we kept waking up every time it started. The WiFi was extremely slow allowing you to barely check only your emails. Some parts of the hotel's hallways were NOT well ventilated and the air was SUFFOCATING including the elevator and the breakfast areas. The breakfast area is one little corner of the 2nd floor with wobbly tables crammed together with only 2 settings for a family (while most guest were families). As a consequence, people were fighting over those tables. The breakfast selections were VERY limited, the advertised "Hot" potion being of the same type every day. Overall, this hotel is overpriced for what it offers using misleading PR to attract customers.

Travelled to Charlotte area to visit Queens University & compete in HS Ladies Rugby tournament. Location was close to everything we needed & staff consistenly went above & beyond to make our stay with a group of 30 comfortable & easy. Honestly very impressed & will return.

Stayed here for visit to Carowinds. Easy to get to and about 15 mins from Carowinds. Room was clean, bathroom looked new, towels are thick and we had plenty of them. The room has K cup machine which was clean and easy to use. No K cup Tea, so bring your own. K cup Coffee was not national brand. My wife is particular about Coffee, and she liked what was offered. Nice HD TV. Internet was slow during normal hours. Only found strong connection in morning before 10am. Breakfast was good. Eggs were hot and not runny. Pancake machine makes Pancakes thin and a bit rubbery, but not bad for free. No Waffles. The breakfast area was clean and organized. If Internet was better, would rate a 5.

Great job in transition from IHG to GW plus. Same great basic staff. We have stayed at IHG properties for many years and very reluctant to try other brands. This property did a fantastic job in showing us that there are other properties who care just as much about there quest. On our travels we will be looking at BW hotels. Thanks for the great staff. Jose and Ashley made us feel right at home still going that extra mile for us. The only negative was a noisy air condition which is a easy fix.

Spent 6 nights during this visit. All of the employees were friendly and courteous. The facility is clean and updated and the breakfast was good, served during reasonable hours. The only downside is the HS Internet is marginal at best. We come to Pineville often and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit...just hope they improve their Internet.

The BW across from Carolina Place Mall is an excellent place to stay when visiting Charlotte. Clean, Comfortable and Convenient.. It is located close to the Southpark area, but priced more reasonablely. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay, including the excellent complimentary breakfast. We will definitely return.

I stayed at this Best Western Plus which was less than 10 miles from Carowinds via the freeway. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. I WILL stay here again in the future. Breakfast was good. I saw the fitness facility but didn't have time to use it since I was at the amusement park all day. The value for the cost was very good too.

We stayed 2 nights and we were pleasantly surprised with the excellent condition of this BW+ (formerly a Holiday Inn Express) since its remodeling was completed in 2016. A very convenient location, but set back on a quiet street from busy traffic. Clean and modernized rooms and decor, very comfy mattresses and friendly staff. The breakfast room had ample seating and plenty of items to choose from. Would stay there again for sure!! Bring your bathing suit as the pool looked inviting!

Food was excellent. Rooms were comfortable. Updated inside and out. Staff was very friendly. There is a mall right across the street that came in handy since we left our garment bag at home in the closet.

We were very impressed with this particular Best Western Plus. It was super clean, had easy access to I-77, lots of shopping and eating choices nearby, a friendly staff and a great breakfast set up..the only draw back was that the night clerk either didn't want to, or didn't know how to process my $10 BW travel card..(hence the very good vs Excellent)..perhaps a training issue..?? I would still be willing to stay here on any future trips to the Queen City..!!

Good quality, Good Price, Good Cleanliness,Good Staff........ What is there else to say. This particular location serves us well for our activities while we were in Charlotte. Access to Interstate highways is within blocks, There are restaurants of every description nearby. Pineville also is also in a location that is relatively easy to navigate without major difficulties dealing with dense traffic particularly when you are unsure of turns and exits.

This place exceeded my expectations. The bed was so comfy and you had PLENTY of pillows! Breakfast was excellent and the entire place was so clean. You felt very welcomed there. The staff was extremely friendly and always greeted you with a smile. I would stay here again for sure!

This was a nice place to stay for an overnight business trip. Very quiet place and good area overall Several restaurants in the area for a variety of choices. Had a quick dinner at an Italian restaurant.

Right off I-485 Charlotte south perimeter. Wonderful location near a mall, plenty of restaurants and activities like golf. Traffic can get a bit congested in the area but the location is great for family activities. The SC border is nearby and the Carrowinds Amusement Park is only minutes away

The hotel is new, clean, beautiful and well kept. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. HOWEVER, the parking lot does not have cameras and has several vehicle vandlized. This was per the police officer who took the report after our front window was smashed out and several items stolen. He left his card in our front seat and indicated he regularly patrols the lot due to frequent occurrences. We stayed at Holiday Inn because, as a chain, we thought we could have some expectation of security. I called IHG Corporate and they indicated the franchise owners do not have a requirement to install cameras. What a shame in this day and age. Perhaps now this owner will have second thoughts.

Stayed a week for work. Hotel grounds, lobby, and room are well-kept and pretty nice. The complimentary breakfast being located on the second floor is a bit odd, but not a big hassle. The hotel's fitness room needs some work. Elliptical doesn't work, the stationary-bicycle and treadmill are not far behind it as they are end-of-life, pretty noisy, and seem to be falling apart. Could definitely use a refresh of the equipment. No free-weights or weight-lifting machines either. The room itself is plenty-big to add some more (and better working) equipment. Would rate 4-5 stars if the fitness center met the same quality as the rest of the hotel.

I was very impressed with the staff. The staff was so professional and kind. They accommodated me when I did not have reservations. I stayed there December 31, 2016 for two nights. Rooms were available. The rooms were very clean and upscale. The breakfast was awesome. There were other places to eat nearby. This is a hotel that I would highly recommend if you want professional service.

This hotel was located to what seemed to be a good location. The price was reasonable. The hotel seemed to be a little smaller than most HIE are and the rooms were a little smaller but the Hotel was very clean and well taken care of. I would stay here again.
