Best Western Nairobi Upper Hill

I have used this hotel on several occasions as a jumping off point on a Kenya Safari. On this trip, I had an accident requiring medical care. The Hotel managed the problem of getting me to the hospital and find me a driver defined pharmacies afterwards. When you're in an unusual place help his golden. Thank you.

Great place to stay. breakfast is great. Room cleaned well everyday staff are fantastic. Next door there is the fairview hotel for food and drinks u can get to from the gate. Will come back next year thanks.peter

Super clean, not overly stylish but friendly service, excellent breakfast and access to all the facilities of the connected five star Fairview, an installation in Nairobi.

everything nice except for soundproofing and the lack of airconditioning, even if it was not necessary, but mosquitos could enter inside by keeping the windows open in the hall. Nice breakfast and wonderful pool of the super beautiful next door hotel

We had a 2 night stay here as our flight times didn't work out for our return journey from Zanzibar to Amsterdam, so we chose to stay in Nairobi for a couple of days. Their driver met us at the airport and also took us back for the flight back as well. This was organised in advance with no problems. We were checked in immediately by Bridget and Dancan and given information on all the facilities as they are shared with the Fairview Hotel next door (accessible with your keycard). The room itself was fine. Everything you need for a stay in a hotel. There was an issue on the 2nd night when the fire alarm went off for about 10 seconds, but it was later revealed to be a fault. Next door at the Fairview, we were welcomed warmly, even though we were at Best Western. The food and drinks here were lovely and tasty. There is also a pool here, but we didn't have time to use it. Breakfast at Best Western was also nice, a varied selection for everyone. The hotel is not quite near the city centre, but it is easily accessible by Uber which we found to be very cheap. A pleasant stay for our quick visit to Nairobi.

Best Western Plus Upper Hill, Nairobi offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was clean, well maintained, and sound proofed, providing a restful environment. You unwind on the laidback garden and pool during the day. The hotel's location is convenient for both leisure and business travelers , with access to key hubs and easily accessible to JKIA and Wilson Airport. Breakfast Buffet was well organized with a good selection. Overall, the hotel delivers good value and a high standard of service. The staff are professional, courteous, and genuinely welcoming, which enhances the overall experience. Bridget and Derick were exceptional.

My experience at Best Western was classical and uniquely excellent. The warm welcome at the gate, great support at the reception desk, room service and above all, great ladies and gentlemen at the restaurant always made each day memorable. Let me single out john, scholar, Peter, Melvin and Lucy who on behalf of the hotel management delivered a special cake to mark my birthday on December 12. What a pleasant surprise that I cannot forget. They also sang a birthday song for me. I felt loved and at home, though away from home. Thank you Best Western; you are indeed the best 👌. Rooms were neat,staffs are friendly and welcoming...Breakfast was perfect but dinner from Fair View wasn't satisfactory at all.

I checked in with my brother but the security on duty profiled us wrong ly..He went ahead and even followed us to the reception during check in..It was so unfair and unprofessional,we feel like our privacy was infringed.We really deserve an apology. I highly recommend John who made our stay better and handled us professionally. The security guard was pathetic for what he did.

I have the best experience at Best Western in Nairobi. The staffs were very helpful to make my stay enjoyable. The restaurant was amazing with a lot good choices of food for breakfast.

The bed/linens/shower were fantastic! Our window faced construction so it was noisy starting at 730am... There was a small gym that was perfect after being on game drives and sitting for 3 weeks. The breakfast was amazing, only being topped by the service staff! The front reception and Sandra were so friendly and accommodating. The egg cook made us perfect poached eggs!! They were the best we have had during our entire visit to Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. We are leaving well rested with full tummies. Thank you for a great rest.

This isn't a five star resort but it was more than adequate for my purposes. Quite a large room and a big shower with a clothesline. Pretty good wifi. Electric jug and coffee/tea. No fridge but creamer. The bed was comfortable. In-room electric safe. There's no air-con, but a fan (which I never turned on) and open windows with insect screens. In September, I was never too hot and any noise through the open windows didn't bother me. Shares a large pool, sundeck, pool bar and restaurant, and quite a well-equipped gym with the next door Fairview which you access through the grounds. I could charge drinks from the Fairview pool bar back to my Best Western room. The area seems safe enough with visible good security. The Best Western staff organised a car for me to take me to Carnivore restaurant. Good hot and cold breakfast with a cook-to-order egg bar. The staff are excellent. So helpful and always friendly and smiling. The staff can make or break a place, and these are wonderful.

I've booked this hotel for only a night. The hotel it's located in a very quiet area. Guarded and safety, nice personal at the reception, breakfast area, bar restaurant outside near the pool. Everyone try to make you feel good and that is very appreciated. I can only recommend this hotel.

The staff here are so nice and so friendly! Melvine especially was very nice and helpful, and always with a beautiful smile! The room is very clean and organized. Breakfast was delicious too :)) However the sound proof wasn't that good, it was Friday night and I think there was an event on the street with very loud music. Good it didn't last till very late though. We had a great experience overall!

Brought a group of 32 pax, during pickup inquired about breakfast for guides but they don't have such provision. A courtesy light snack breakfast even at a fair fee would help, such early pickups it's hard to get places for breakfast.

The hotel was good. Rooms nice. The climate in Nairobi was good so the room with no fans was fine. For Indians who don't use toilet paper, so ask for a bucket or mug. Room small but ok. Breakfast was nice. Food in hotel is expensive The hotel staff are helpful

We stayed at Best Western Nairobi Upper Hill for 3 nights and the whole experience was an absolute 5 star. The rooms were so comfortable and with all necessary amenities. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a pool and a big garden where you can relax and have a drink/meal. The breakfast is buffet, high quality and plentiful. The highlight of the stay though was the amazing service from the helpful and super polite staff. Particularly John was always helpful and so attentive, he made our stay even more pleasant. I 100% recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I come back to Nairobi.

What an incredible time we had at Best Western Upper Hill! The rooms are clean and spacious and the food is great! The highlight was the staff-every team member was so kind and accommodating. Shout out to John in the breakfast area, he was so helpful and kind, he did all he could to make us feel welcome and cared for!!! Thank you for an incredible time, we will be back for sure!

It was such a great experience we all had. It's also in a quiet area with beautiful garden. With amazing breakfast. I recommend it.

Excellent Service at the restaurant during breakfast the staff was amazing from the chef Lucy who helped us with the menu selection and nice omelette and the service team was so great with John being our server he was good and keen to details..thank you so much we must definitely come back

I began my trip to Kenya with three nights at the Best Western Upper Hill. It has good breakfast options and a nice central location. There's a gym and access to a swimming pool with a café. My room was in the new building with a lift. It had a decent-sized shower, desk fan, safe, and bidet, though this was not the case for my entire party. It was a very comfortable stay while adjusting to the time change and environment from the northern hemisphere.

I absolutely loved my stay at Best Western Upper Hill. The staff is the best - they're incredibly sweet, welcoming, hospitable and do all they can to make the most out of your stay. Any ask is possible and is welcomed with a smile. The rooms are good, very clean, and the restaurant and swimming facilities of the neighbouring Fairview are a major plus. Loved it, good value for money, would definitely come back!

Easy check in and check out process thanks to the security and receptionist The rooms are very neat, simple and comfortable bed. Also very peaceful environment despite close proximity to the main road and CBD. I enjoyed the staycation. Lovely breakfast as well with diet options for everyone. Very suitable for business trips and events well.

Ambient environment, excellent room service, clean rooms , nice restaurants serving delicious food, clean swimmingpool and awesome buffet breakfast. Great place for relaxing and staycations. I'd definitely visit bestwestern again.
