I had very comfortable stay. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Nest time I shall stay here again. Florence who is staff was always there to help and answer any question I had was answered. Food is also very good. It s also very clean place to stay.

Good Ambiance, caring staff. Clean spaces. Generous meals except there lacks a starter such as a choice of soup. This would be a great addition. Florence from guest relations was extraordinary! Security considerations all well in place. Cost efficient for a facility in CBD.

I enjoyed the service. The level of accountability of hospitality from Kate was extremely nice. Privy to the service I will definitely consider coming back to the hotel. The hospitality level is on another level and the staff and the atmosphere was awesome.

This hotel felt like home from home and that was largely down to the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and willing to help. Florence provided us with an efficient check in service and supported us with leaving luggage in their storage room, even whilst we went on safari. Engaging with the porter- Patrick was always a great start to the day. He was always on hand to assist with luggage, taxis and even advise on local amenities. The security was strict but always polite and with a smile. We were very comfortable in this hotel. We had 2 stays here (went to safari in between). Our room on the 3rd floor was significantly more modern than the room on the 1st floor. Restaurant food was good. 24 room service available. Good WiFi. There is a rooftop pool/bar with a happy hour but we did not use it. Note- the area of the hotel is very busy. Taxi for travelling is always advised.

One of the best hotels in nairobi, good location with nice view on the roof top. What surprised me is the windows are sound proof, when having a meeting there is no disturbance or noise from outside. I have enjoyed and loved the varieties if dishes offered at the restaurant. My shout goes to Jedidah and Florence

This hotel it's well known for good customer service. Their services are top notch, especially the staffs makes the environment warm until you feel like you are at home. This is not my first time to visit best western plus meridian hotel, what I love most about this hotel is the service and the location. Location is convenient and it is in Nairobi CBD. They have quality service and they are we'll organised from the reception, conference room and at the restaurant. Dishes are nice and we'll presented.shout to the staffs for doing an amazing job especially Florence the guest relations officer.

The meeting rooms were very convenient although they should check on the WIFI it wasn't stable throughout. I enjoyed the food although being that I'm from Zimbabwe I tried adjusting but maybe offer variations of the dessert it was the same throughout. Very good hotel in a great locality. The service and breakfast buffet were top notch and the room we got was one of the most comfortable we have stayed in. The facilities were overall great, including the A/C and we were also given early morning breakfast to go for our flights, which was simply excellent and prompt.

Ever since I came to Nairobi, I have been treated like a king in his ultramodern palace, the "Ultramodern Palace" in this sense is "Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel, Kenya, Nairobi. Architecture, infrastructure and systems being put in place is compared to non, i.e., varieties of food, guest room, washrooms, conference centers, restaurant and superb good costumer relationship. I particularly met with one of the down-to-heart staff called Florence. Oh.. she was such a nice person. Great hotel experience in the heart of Nairobi. The rooms and amenities are contemporary and the staff are friendly and helpful. From the porter who was very hospitable to Florence from guest relations who checked if I had settled in well. Even the security guys insisted I wait for my ubers in the safety of the driveway not out in the main road.

I lost my luggage on the way to Nairobi and the staff here are very helpful following up with the airline (Qatar) and the airport. They constantly followed up and keep me updated until arrived. The overall stay was really pleasant and the staff took good care of the guests.

I arrived on 24th Sept to 6th Oct 23. I have had a very good experience and learnt alot training with upskills. Hotel staff were professional and friendly. Naomi, Rejoice, Zainab and Florence did very well during breakfast and lunch each day among other staff. Reception staff did very well, always at my service. The hotel is neat and serene. I enjoyed my stay and hopes to come again.

I arrived at the hotel for a training with the Upskill Development Institute. At the Security post, they were courteous and friendly and ensuring that every security check is done. The cleaners at some sections were happy doing their jobs and the waiters and waitresses at the Restaurant were very attentive to my needs and were neatly dressed. It has a very cool atmosphere and the environment is soooo appealing. My boss (Vice-Chancellor) was happy with the hotel when we first came for the training in 2022 and my boss (the Registrar) of National Open University of Nigeria is also in love with the Hôtel. A smiling and jovial Staff of the Hotel, Miss Florence and Mr. Patrick were very helpful in providing quality services. They were friendly and that includes some others i do not know their names. This is a place that one will always want to visit and recommend to other colleagues and friends.

Impossible to find when self driving. Don't drive yourself. No address, no directions, in a horrible area if town. Tried to get air conditioning working.. no luck. Staff who tried to help with ac, limited English and found it hard to believe I wanted cool air conditioning. Never ever ever again

The Best Western Plus Meridian has the best staff! They are extremely friendly and helpful and take special care to make sure everything is perfect - from keeping your bags to serving the amazing breakfast - in particular Patrick, Kenneth, Caroline, Norah, and the front desk and breakfast staff make you feel so at home in the heart of Nairobi. The pool is warm, the gym is great, and the rooms and beds are comfortable as well. We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located in a great location. Visible from all angles of the central business district. The staff's are well trained and the atmosphere is welcoming .I met Norah who was all the way of my journey helpful .the bar is well manned and the food is so delicious I will be more than willing to spend more time again in the vicinity.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The amenities were all functional. Excellent location. I was able to visit most places within 10 to 15 mins. The Kenyan Bush tours desk was also very helpful and I had a fantastic time at my Safari.

Amazing service and hospitality at the Best Western Hotel in Nairobi. Never had a better experience at a hotel before. The staff bend over backwards to help you. Room service and breakfasts and dinners were of the highest quality. Rooms were kept very clean every day. We felt so welcomed by the friendly staff, always so helpful and accommodating. Patrick has the best local knowledge and always welcomes you with a beaming smile! Norah made sure our stay was the best it could be. The room was just what we needed, comfy bed, hot good shower. We made use of the gym and wanted to use the pool but we came in rainy season so chose not too. Location is great, in the hustle and bustle of the centre of Niarobi, with CJ's restaurant round the corner. All in all we had the best time. Thank you to the amazing staff!

It's a very nice place, hidden gem in Nairobi City..well located in that you're able to access other amazing places around the Cbd like the snow cream was a delight.The food in the restaurant was so delicious, loved it...the staff was also very friendly and helpful, Patrick was very helpful with the luggage, Nora,Carol and Gloria were pretty helpful and welcomed me with a warm smile, the rooms were comfy ,definitely coming back.

The hotel is well situated within the vicinity of most amenities and businesses in the city center eg transport connections to various destinations shoppings entertainments and tourist sites within easy reach. The staff are welcoming, hospitable and ready to help specifically Norah in the reception who helped help me when I needed help while planning my business trip one of town. Room service was excellent and house keeping staff were courteous during my stay. The hotel has a working gym though they need to frequently refill sanitizer, towel and water in the gym.

Our family stayed in 2 rooms for 4 nights. This was a very comfortable hotel in the heart of Nairobi. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable - similar to premier inn in UK. The hotel itself was a great place to be based. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, they offered 24 hour service, restaurants serving a selection of food and drinks, plentiful buffet breakfast, there was a person at the desk to order tours etc We enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby shopping area, very nice restaurants, a selection of street food and the Masai market. Not far from Nairobi National park and Wilson Airport. Gloria (customer relations) was at hand every morning to greet us with a smile, and Patrick (porter) was always there to assist if needed. Highly recommended. My teenagers loved good wifi!!

My family and I really enjoyed the family suite. It was spacious and had all of our needs taken care of. The breakfast was excellent, with attentive wait staff and delicious food. The pool deck was a great space to relax and watch the sunset. The concierge desk was superb with scheduling the transportation we needed and alerting us to their arrival.

We received fantastic service from all staff including reception, restaurant and concierge. Dorothy at reception and Patrick at the Concierge desk were fabulous! The location is excellent if you want to stay in the city center.

The entire team at best Western was fantastic. After long journey we were welcomed by Mr. Patrick the porter and checked by Mary who was always smiling. Mr. Peter the manager met us while we were sitting at the lobby and checked on us and all the other people who were sitting there something which its not easy to find in most hotels. Keep it up great team. I shall plan to visit again.

Definitely better that the typical Best Western hotel in the US! Pool area is gorgeous. The spa is basic but Rose gave the best hot stone massage I've ever had. David kept our room spotless and well stocked for our nine days, and bellman Patrick was always at the ready with a smile and helpful suggestion on how to make the most of our time in Nairobi. Breakfast could use some more variety like waffles and potatoes, but otherwise good.

I received extremely good customer service from Anita and Mary. I arrived at 745am to see my client. The lobby was full but they ushered me in and gave me a place to sit. Thanks for your warm smiles!!! Very courteous,social and helpful staff.

I came in for a two day First Aid refresher course but the experience this time was awesome. From the entrance to the reception to the breakfast service area, I loved it. I liked how Anita took me through everything as I sipped my favorite mango juice. Dennis.

...a number of other questionable” things make this BW a questionable stay. First, the staff are great - almost too accommodating - and the hotel is dead-center downtown Nairobi. That said: - we were over-charged in a couple of ways (2,000 KES for two beers; over 100 CAD for laundry) - breakfast is okay, but inconsistent - the bar can be a seedy scene Suggestion: look elsewhere.

We had a great experience at the Best Western Meridian Nairobi. The staff were very friendly and helpful to our needs! Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was also good and good location for CBD area.

Absolutely enjoyed my staying at this location. Close to everything , very safe hotel. They also provide shutter to the airport. If you need to book tours/safari they have people at the hotel who can assist you. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfasts bar. I would definitely come back here! A+++

Best place in CBD keep up the good work clean room and beddings well conversant staff and ready to help. the situation is easily accessible and the food was good. however the breakfast varieties was limited

Very decent hotel in Nairobi CBD. It's 15-20 minutes from Wilson Airport which makes it a very convenient place to stay if you have a flight to/from the airport. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were amazing. We also loved the breakfast buffet, the food selection was really nice.

Love, Love the vibes mainly interaction with Boke & Mary was extremely pleasant, The front desk staff mainly Boke was a joy, she met all of our needs and all of our questions without any hesitation whatsoever. This is a fantastic hotel !to stay here the food, the coffee, the beds, the atmosphere, the music, unbelievably everything was just perfect. the décor and ambiance throughout the whole hotel was really, nice. I highly recommend this hotel it's was very warm, extremely beautiful and the staff is excellent. We had an outstanding stay . I had a good time at the hotel. Services provided were good. However, the Internet performance was very poor and was never resolved. This affected the floor of my work and could barely communication with my partners. One person who tried her best to resolve this problem was Faith Kanini from the IT Department. However, the problem was administrative. It's important to note that the cleaners such as Angeline, and Zenor were impressive. In addition, Mary Nganga performed exceptionally well and show commitments to her duty. Hope the hotel management improve on the internet and other service.

Lovely place .......... very clean right from the entrance all the way to the rest of the facility......the restaurant offers very good food........ the staff are so friendly........ thank you so much Boke so quick to help and always helpful and so much support...... I shall come back again soon .

The place is clean and nice with excellent customer service. Despite being within the busy CBD area, it is cool and silent like it is at the middle of the national park. For food lovers, the hotel has delicious breakfast with a lot of varieties. Kudos to all staff.

This was my first stay in a Best Western and I must say I was really impressed. The room was very clean and you're spacious for a standard room. The food was awesome both what I ordered for room service and the buffet breakfasts. The Guest Relations Officer, Boke was very quick to fix an issue I had. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I am in Nairobi.

The location is OK in the City Centre. Rooms are small and have been nicht in the 70s maybe. Internet is almost non existent and the breakfast in best case OK. I would not chose it again by any means even for the relatively reasonable price I got.

BWPM hotel is the best ever hotel i have been accomodated in. Cleanliness is of high standard Very friendly,humble and caring staff who are more than willing to support their clients unconditionally. Fully fitted premise with fitness centre,pool games and complete rooms. This is the best place for business purposes,leisure and entertainment.

We stayed here before and after our safari on the way in and out of Kenya. The hotel was well looked after by the staff at the front of the hotel and in Reception. We also ate in the dining room and the food was plentiful and we enjoyed our meal. The rooms have all the general facilities you would normally expect, although our twin room was a little on the small side.

Divina and Joseph and the owner are all amazing people. The staff in the kitchen is also amazingly sweet. Restaurant food is tasty and the buffet is pretty complete. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. The rooms and bathroom need updating as well as the old fashioned decor in the lobby!!! what makes this hotel is the service and staff.

The hotel is located in central Nairobi and many of the sights (e.g. City Square and Nairobi National Museum) are within walking distance. There are several restaurants nearby and also a proper supermarket. I had a nice room, which was also quiet and clean. I arrived around 11 AM, but got my room already then. I stayed only one night and on the day of my departure I had to leave before the breakfast started. I mentioned about that during check-in and I was offered a breakfast to go. It was a smallish bag, but obviously better than nothing. The staff was friendly and proactive, which I enjoyed.

Staff were brilliant. Always helpful. Some confusion with room initially but nothing major. Breakfast was average, some cheese was off (Camembert). Eggs are always fresh and made at your preference. Room was ok. Heated swimming pool on top floor, son enjoyed it but not very clean. Location perfect, near everything. Would stay there again

Room is good, just looks a bit old and boring. Not sure why it seems to be a very popular hotel among tourists when I researched online, and also recommended by tour agents. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looks smaller than expected, but still a pretty nice spot at the rooftop. Many food outlets and a wholesale alcohol shop within walking distance.

We had a large group of 25 students/parents staying the last night we were in Nairobi. The hotel was clean and the small rooms were efficient and the space used well. The pool on the top floor was AMAZING and just what the group needed after a long trip. The Duty Manager at night, Wilson was so helpful! He patiently guided our group to a pizza location and helped arrange delivery. Mary, the day time Duty Manager was able to help get us quickly checked in and moved up the pool while our bags were being delivered. When we checked out both Mary and Wilson helped us check our luggage in a storage area as our departure was not until after 6pm. The breakfast was included and was very good.

I have enjoyed everything from the hotel's amenities, services and the efficiency of the staff. The breakfast menu was second to none. The food was tasty and the hotel was clean inside out. I will definitely stay again.

One of the best things about this hotel is the staff. Everyone is very friendly especially the ladies at breakfast and dinner. They were always so sweet, had a smile on their face and generally lovely. The breakfast is decent and a lot of variety and the hotel reception and areas are nice and clean. The rooms overall are nice and clean although starting to look a bit worn and dated in some areas.

Stayed 7 nights. Located in the heart of the city and is within driving distance of many tourist sites e.g. KICC, The Arboretum, Uhuru Park, and the Malls. The hotel also has a dedicated tourist service close to the front desk, and has a rooftop swimming pool and bar The breakfast buffet was good and the staff was very courteous and friendly. Cleaning services were also good. The two cons experienced were: (1) Old furniture in the living room area, and (2) Wi-Fi was fairly inconsistent at the 3rd Floor. Overall, it's a good place to stay.

Good location for the centre of the city and perfectly acceptable if a little small and dated rooms that could do with a bit of attention. No real views but this is mainly a conference and stop-over hotel so fit for purpose. Nice small pool on the rooftop and free parking in the small car park. Underwhelming breakfast. Helpful staff. Will use again as cheap by Nairobi standards and “good enough”.

i had been for a week to attend international workshop in Nairobi and i found the hotel very nice. I am very much by the staffs there. The location of the hotel is also great and in proximity to the city center and able to move around for shopping and city tours. I would like to thank the service guys much for their wonderful hospitality seen during the breakfast time.

Hotel is located in the centre of the city, walking distance to KCC Tower and lokal bus station. All staff was very nice and friendly, we get late check out for free:) Breakfast was great plenty of choices. Swimming pool and spa on 5 floor. Recommended for short stayed in Nairobi!!!

Duty manager is very rude and i would no guest to stay here. They do not know how to service guests. He was swearing and when asked for a GM he was hiding in his office. Room was never cleaned. All staff are very rude. Racist hotel not happy. Sent a email to GM with no reply. Very wrong . Never stay at this hotel.. p

The ambience at Best Western is great, and the staff is willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I know a lot still needs to be done but this facility is way better than some 5-Star facility I stayed at in the same City. I would definitely prefer this facility when I visit the City next.

Best staff, best quality, best value in Africa.! After two weeks, I hate to leave! I've never seen a hotel staff so dedicated to guest satisfaction. Every waiter, every manager, even the concierge‘s desk, looked for ways to make our stay better. The restaurant food is five star. I feel like I'm living with my friends. I even encouraged my colleagues to shift over from the Stanley Sarova, thanks to the excellent service during our meeting times. The rooftop bar and garden and pool and meeting facilities are so professional and well cleaned. It's truly an oasis in the center of Nairobi.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days before and after our safari. We are extremely pleased. The hotel has everything for an excellent stay - comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant, swimming pool and rooftop bar and most important - great staff, especially Mary from the reception. We recommend the hotel to everyone.

Nice location, very friendly staff. I was received well and check in was very fast by Mary and Robert. Robert explained facilities very well. Olivia and Anand the managers are right for the job. They genuinely care about their guests and made me feel comfortable, checking if I was ok during breakfast and offering necessary assistance. I could see their smile in the mask. Room is very clean and I like how you sanitize everywhere for covid checks. I feel safe. Food was ok...but can be better. Please improve only on A.C heat and internet connection. It was not very good. Otherwise I come back again and again.

The location is perfect and we felt welcome from the very start. My husband had been vaccinated fully and I wasn't but the way one Miss Olivia at Front Office handled the situation made us feel at home. She was very professional and explained things to us in a nice and calm manner and even assisted us on how to solve the issue. I went and got the jab and then came and checked in. Restaurant staff were so good to us too. Mr. Wilfred ensured we were comfortable and well-fed. The room was quite clean and comfortable too. Please keep up the good service and standards. Excellent service. I had called from south africa to arrange for my mum and her friend a place to stay as they needed to quaratine in Kenya before heading off to thwir final destination in the UAE. Elizabeth Kioko who assited woth reservation was and stil is beyond excellent. Her communication and her help through everything has been outstanding. She has made them feel at home considering it is their first time in Kenya aswell. I have gotten feeback from my mum and her friend and they have said they feel so comfortable and at ease. I love this place! I can't say enough good about it! I flew in to Nairobi around 9pm and was meant to stay at a hotel just by the airport, as I had a flight out the next evening and wanted to be close by - at first. Then I recalled how great my experiences have been here at the BW Meridian, so I hopped in a cab and made my way (without a reservation). Greeted by Kevin, the Duty Manager, checked in promptly at a very fair rate. John in the restaurant remembered me from my last trip and stayed open well past their scheduled closing time so that I could get a bite to eat and a drink before going to bed. Check out is 10am, but my flight was not until 6pm, so again, Kevin and Bernard at the front desk graciously allowed me to extend and keep the room until 2pm at no charge! They even arranged for a local lab to come directly to my room to collect my COVID test sample! Breakfast was great, Juliet (and the other gentleman whose name I can't remember) were wonderful and a man who appeared to be the General Manager came over to greet me and to be sure I was happy with my room, etc. etc. I will stay in no other hotel while in Nairobi, and look forward to being back after the holidays! I love everything in the hotel. Cleanliness of the room. Quiet place to chill and relax. Attentive service at the Restaurant ground floor. Special thanks to Wilfred Washington who looked after me and was very helpful. I will be back.

The service and location is awesome. The room is claustrophobic, no cross ventilation, no windows and you d feel out if breadth when a smell is trapped in the room. This is major turn off for me and there us no balcony, unfortunately they cannot correct this malfunction.

I really enjoyed my stay and was more amazed by the quality of the rooms and the internal decor. I will not hesitate a minute to stay in this hotel once am in Nairobi. Kudos to the meridian crew. The security was spot on too kudos to you too.

The room I booked was really, really small. I thought I'd booked an upgraded room, but had no proof and nothing was obvious on the corporate confirmation I had, so I didn't push the issue. The windows were frosted over, which is something I'd only seen previously in North Korea. The view wasn't much, but the frosted windows just added to my sense of claustrophobia. The pool is the size of a postage stamp, the gym might fit in a shoebox. Check in took ages for me. Breakfast was just average. If you're staying in the CBD, I'd recommend spending extra money somewhere else. If Best Westerns are your bag, go to the one in the Westlands. It's much, much better.

The hotel is well situated, the staff are polite and efficient. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast buffet delicious. The only reason we did not give the excellent review is because on one of our three stays the matress needed to be changed,

We stayed 2 nights here and would recommend it for staying in Nairobi. Location is convenient in the city centre and staff is very friendly. Security wise it is very safe - they check people and cars entering the hotel - and the security even checked on us when we were close to the hotel and suggested us places safe to go on our own. Breakfast was very good as well.

Overall the stay was good. The concierge service at the hotel was EXCELLENT. The are independently contracted and I had read reviews regarding their service, so when I arrived I informed them of the things that I wanted to do during my 2 day stay. Within 15 minutes they provided me with an itinerary! EXCEPTIONAL!! The hotel staff was very professional. The rease I am giving them the 3 stars for average is: #1 - The air conditioning in the room is horrible. It was warm and no matter how high I changed the thermostat, it stayed on 24 degrees Celsius. That is warm. I read other reviews reqarding this and should've asked for another room. The 2nd reason is because I informed the front desk staff on arrival that I as a loyalty member I had recently received a $20 gift card from a promotion that is currently being run by BW. The gift card had instructions to the staff on how they should enter the gift card and deduct the $20 from my reservation. The young lady at the desk was unfamiliar with the card and asked that I forward the email to her so that she could speak to her manager. The nignt prior to check-out I spoke to the front desk again and the staff stated it would not be a problem. Upon check-out nobody knew what I was talking about and statednit hadn't been deducted. Also since the business center is closed I asked the front desk to print out my PCR results for my flight. The same young lady that checked me in asked that I email her the documenta and she would prepare them and have them ready for me at checkout, that did not happen!

My family and I stayed here a few nights and really enjoyed it. The food for breakfast was very good. Make sure you check out the whole hotel, there are multiple levels with different pools/balconies etc. The arranged pick up for us from the airport to the hotel. The driver was there on time and accommodating for us as we took some time to be ready to go initially as we were buying sim cards. Was a bit too pricey though...check the price before you book.

Transportation from NBO airport to Hotel and back was offered and organised by the Hotel staff for a very reasonable price. Transportation was on-time and I felt very safe. Check-in, presentation of the room and the help with my luggage was very friendly and extremely helpfull. Especially for me, as wheelchair person, I really appreciated everyones lovely support. I have ordered a Salad and a Beer to my room, the quality and presentation of the Salad was good and room service (midnight) was friendly. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice offered, it was freshly prepared and personally served. Breakfast service was very nice, fast & efficent. Check-out did not take long at all, prearranged transportation back to NBO airport was already waiting for me.

Everything about Best Western was great. The room was very clean, the buffet breakfast was delicious, and the staff provided impeccable service (from front desk staff, security, to restaurant waiters) throughout our stay. Meet expectation on a 4 star city hotel in all aspects. Room size OK with good supply of hot water for shower. The bed is comfortable and environment is quiet to allow good quality sleep. Amenities within the room are all in proper order. Also internet speed is good enough for me to organise photos taken during safaris.

We overnighted on the front and back end of our Kenya safari. There long enough for a bite to eat and a restful night sleep on the comfortable bed. Quiet, dark room is always a plus for weary travelers. The front desk receptionist Mary was especially kind, remembering us from our arrival stay. She was bubbly and happy, which helped me start my day with a smile. We didn't spend anytime outside the property, but it's in the CBD and very busy. No city noises were observed, so that was a plus!

Great place to stay while visiting Nairobi. My preference while traveling is to stay in city center. This hotel is right in the heart of the CBD. Very clean, safe, great location and tasty breakfast. Recommend! They also have a desk to setup tours. We booked a Nairobi driving tour that we really enjoyed. Special thanks to Mary at the front desk for being super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is the best around this location that is quite central. I've stayed there three times already and had always received good service. The covid health and safety measures in practice are excellent. The staff is welcoming and all the needed facilities are there.

I can recommend the hotel to everyone who is seeking an affordable hotel with so much to offer. What stood out was the excellent service I got. The only aspect that I would like to see an improvement on is the dinner menu. The food was great, but the choices on the menu are a bit limited. Besides that I left a very happy customer!

Good Covid-19 procedures at the entrance where the luggage and guest are sprayed to disinfect them. the reception staff are very friendly and knowledgeable which makes one feel at home. The rooms are well equipped, clean and quiet but could do with a small bottle of sanitiser. The Wi-Fi is fast and stable; no disconnections at all.

it was a business stay experience and the property was cozy and comfortable, the breakfast was ok but the main feature is the friendly staff all of them, Peter at the reception and David on the pool, Esther at the restaurant even isabelle at the security gates

Food could use some attention. Other than that I was fed and really happy with the internet connection as I could painlessly attend meetings. Over weekends it gets a bit loud witj functions but had a good night's rest for 16days.

I am still at Best western meridian and I plan to extend my stay. Great staff and I make a special mention of Peter in charge of laundry. Good guy and honest, I accidentally left behind 12000 ke shillings in my clothes but was returned intact. Thanks brother. The manager also called Peter is a pleasant guy.

We stayed at the Best Western Meridian Hotel for 17 nights and it was excellent. We chose the hotel based on the highest COVID safety levels and it lived up to the expectation. Our bags were sprayed everytime we entered the hotel from the moment we arrived on our first evening. We had our temperation taken, hands sprayed and security checked every time we entered the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day to a very high standard and the air conditioning was great during the day and especially in the evening. The WiFi in the room and lobby areas was fast enough to do video calls to the UK and didnt drop the signal for important business meetings and even speaking at conferences! The restaurant food was of a high standard and we ate here every morning and evening. The breakfast was a staff served buffet and the evening menu was limited due to COVID restrictions but had enough of a range for one week and we had this 2 or 3 times over. The rooftop bar area was a perfect oasis on a hot day and I worked in the shade and it was a great break from the room and hustle of the city. Peter on reception was extremely helpful and John and Rosette organised over 25 taxi journeys - drop off and pick up throughout our stay with no problems. John also organised a Nairobi National Park Trip on our last day which was an amazing way to end our trip. We felt safe and very well looked after by the team headed up by Anand and I would recommend this hotel very highly.

Very clean property managed by himbled and experienced front desk staff. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and we were aassisted with transport services to another county when my Taxi failed to show up. For sure I will visit again and recommend my friends to try it.

The staff was codial, the facility was very ideal for the meetings and the meeting room location perfect for the meeting. We again went back for meetings at the same venue and the reception from the staff made our visitors feel welcome.

We stayed here 3 nights. Very secure hotel following very clean procedures to enter due to Covid. We had an issue with the air conditioner in our room and we were moved to another bigger room with independent air unit. We loved the hospitality. The breakfast is not that good. They need to improve the options and coffee. If you want good coffee go to ArtCaffe

I thought that the Best Western Meridian Plus, was a nice, clean hotel, with a friendly staff! It was a good value for the money spent! The room was clean and had some nice amenities, including a nice TV, mini-refrigerator. It was a bit small, and there were things closed like the pool due to Covid-19 restrictions. It's also in the heart of a very busy downtown area, which made taking a peaceful walk a bit harder.

It was the best treat ever, I loved The services,straight from the entrance you are met by this lovely team,to the room services. You maintained the required covid -19 measures. I would recommend anyone for whatever purpose.

I traveled to Nairobi from the USA recently and stayed 3 nights at the Best Western Meridian Hotel. I had stayed previously in January of 2020, and enjoyed my visit and found it to be a great value $ wise. This time was even better. Due to COVID, the hotel was closed for months. We were worried we would find that the hotel might not have the amenities or that the restaurant might be lacking due to being very slow as far as business. Not the case! Our service was nothing short of perfection from the time we arrived to the time we left. We were met at the airport with a taxi arranged by the hotel very late after midnight and were welcomed just the same with a warm smile. Our rooms were clean and modern with water, coffee, and tea provided. Showers were hot and water pressure was great. The breakfast in the restaurant (and, incidentally, all of the food we ate there!) was outstanding. Service was on point. We must recognize the amazing service of Mary at the front desk, Jacinta and Slesa in the restaurant, Wilifred the manager who made sure all of our needs were met, and Peter who kept our rooms clean, our waters filled, our clothes cleaned and our bags securely loaded and offloaded coming from and going to the airport. Also, waiters Arnold and John were great on my last night there. While the restaurant was supposed to close at 9pm because of the curfew in Nairobi, they were gracious and stayed well past 10:30pm on my last night there as I worked on my computer at a table over an ice cold Tusker or two (or, 3?) All of this for just $60 USD per night booking through expedia. I will continues to use this hotel for all of my transit needs in Nairobi, and hopefully for a longer stay very soon.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Best Western in Nairobi. Whist we appreciate it is a very difficult time for all Hotels and Restaurants during the Covid -19 crisis, from the moment you arrive at the hotel the safety protocols kick into place. We traveled from the USA) and the protocols at the Best Western were much better than in our own country! We felt completely safe however the best part of the stay were the Staff. All of them. From the security staff to the front desk to the servers in the restaurant. They couldn't do enough for you! Once the roof top bar and restaurants are fully open I'm sure this place will rock! Staff were courteous and with a good attitude. Breakfast currently is a bit limited to your order, not a buffet like model, but this is due to the current covid 19 measures as was explained by the kitchen staff.

We totally enjoyed our visit. The staff were very warm and hospitable, they made our stay pleasant. They have gone above and beyond to observe the required COVID-19 restrictions and still make your stay amazing. I have stayed at many best westerns in the US but this one in Nairobi is the best one by far . Amazing service be it at the entrance or the service desk or room service . Everyone is always smiling and is willing to help and offer recommendations. The place feels safe . The rooms are really well appointed. As vegetarians there are many options on their menu . However the best thing by far is their breakfast . Amazing variety be it continental or even Indian and made fresh . We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone .

The hotel is small, but quite lovely and cosy. The decor was great, as was the food. The breakfast buffet was average. The best feature was the staff who were quite polite and friendly. Special kudos to Mary at the front desk, who made me feel very welcome and the female security officer who gave me shopping tips.

Visited a while back. A very comfortable hotel if you're on a budget or even for a shorter stay. The restaurant is pretty good and the chef does a nice tandoori chicken. It's located in the city centre and is quite centrally located to most tourist sites. The staff were extremely helpful. My driver Steve was incredibly helpful as well.

The hotel is very centrally located in the CBD, chosen as a base for a quick transfer to the Wilson airport but concerned it could be noisy. I had a wonderful first impression: I was exhausted after a long day of sight seeing and I was met with a cold glass of juice and checked in. The staff were warm, friendly, efficient and professional. The corridor to the rooms is dark and enclosed but the room itself was well appointed and very quiet. My stay went downhill from there. The shower was greasy and didn't seem to have been cleaned properly. I complained, explaining that I had to make it to dinner outside the hotel and expected a very quick fix or switching the room. It did however take sometime to get a response. I was later offered another room but declined cos that bathroom was a bit musty. I was exhausted so accepted bedroom slippers I was offered so I could stand in the [dirty] shower with them. I asked for an amenities kit and had to remind them hours later before it was sent up. I had a great night's sleep but was woken up in the wee hours by some very noisy neighbours loudly speaking what sounded like Chinese. The design of the hotel makes it an echo chamber so the noise was easily amplified. Breakfast was alright and I checked out soon after to catch my flight. Perhaps I expected more because of the rave reviews but my stay was quite average.

Had two night here with my wife just outside the busy and congested city. The welcome and the services here are exceptional. the food is well prepared and the rooms tidy and clean. They are cheap and A nice place to stay before a safari.

Pros: most staff (not the mgt) , food OK Cons: management, rooms dark, windows do not open (which is a problem when the air con does not work BIG THING: Air con does not cool in mod rooms. They moved me to one another room after mine would not 'cool' below 77 F (25 C) Next room slightly better. But never close to standard room temp of 70 F (21C) They could not find any rooms that properly cooled. Offered me all sorts of nonsense deals that cost them nothing to 'make up' for false advertising. Say they will fix for my next (not going to happen) visit.

I had a great 4 nights stay in BW Plus Meridian in the month of Feb 2020, All the staffs are very kind (Front Office members, Restaurant, House Keeping , Room Service , Security all members etc...) Especially In front Office Ms Mery has supported a lot. About food in Indian Restaurant - , I had Break Fast and Dinner, Which sounds the taste was exact like Indian, Chef Mr Anil was so kind and taken care well. Maintenance team is maintaining the rooms and surroundings as per standard level well, Keep it up the same.

I held an event at BW Meridian and I have to say, Julius and Benjamin from the FnB department were extremely patient and accommodated all our guests' requests. I'll definitely be holding my events at BW Meridian going forward.

The quality of service we recieved from the FnB department has been consistently excellent from the first time we held an event in 2019. Their food presentation is excellent and they have been very accommodating to our specific requests. Kudos to the FnB team.

We had a great 3 nights stay at BW Meridian this month. What is so special about this hotel is it's staff. They "can be bothered" to look after the guests needs. They will always ask whether you are comfortable, and will look after all of your needs. In terms of food, they have a good selection of local, western and Indian food. The Executive Chef, Anil was so kind and always looked after all of our special dietary needs, including organising of a 5am breakfast! Thank you Chef Anil! Breakfast was good, with a good selection on the buffet including fresh fruits and Kenyan meals, in addition to a decent selection of western dishes. A'la carte dinner offers great value with good quality mains and liquor at reasonable prices. The only downside is the room air conditioning. Owners need to invest on a good A/C which is dragging the hotel down.

We planned out Kenya itinerary slightly differently, we were in Nairobi after doing Masai mara circuit . We spent 3 days at this property . While rooms are not very big, it is just enough comfortable to give your bodies the much needed rest after doing the excruciating safari . The morning buffet is fantastic, location is so very central and Staff is very friendly, deserves 5 stars for their warmth . Some issues observed with water seeping out of the washroom, towards the room entrance way, wish that wouldn't have been there . The bar serves some amazing LIT and has happy hours too . You will get a host of taxi operators outside the hotel , bargain well with them and they speak very fine english . At time we saw some rowdy elements nearby the hotel main gate , but the hotel has very elaborate security arrangements. Later we understood from a friendly local shopkeeper that the area where hotel is located is more in the old down town. If you happen to be here then do not miss to go to the local Nairobi village market in morning , it's a travellers delight . What you get there at one location is hard to believe . From the moment we arrived we were greeted with care. Every member of staff ensured that we had a wonderful experience. When we checked in the manager David was there and he greeted us with a smile and looked after everything. His attention to detail is amazing. Any questions we had, he was happy to answer them. Maureen was also very courteous and helpful. Everything was so clean and it is a mosquito free zone as they spray the place regularly. Thank you! We will be back!

The hotel was clean and the decor was nice. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful when needed. Although the area was not fabulous, the hotel felt safe. The rooms were well appointed, clean, and quiet.

The location of the hotel the ambience of the hotel is really commendable. Everything went fine and shall be staying in this hotel as usual. The hotel also provide tour to many places which is really appreciative. I have always preferred this hotel to stay as it is really a good hotel to stay. The rates per night is also affordable for a 4 star hotel .

I arrived into the hotel with a car covered in mud (due to an incident on 'safari') - and myself equally caked in mud. Staff and other guests were amused - and all very helpful to get me and my clothes cleaned during my very short overnight stay. Thank you to all that helped! Room was very well appointed. I'm the mean time all hotels I have ever visited meridian hotel is one Of its kind with all sort of goodies and comfortable for trainings. The food is quite good but with some challages of some dishes especially the protein ones finished thus being informed to wait for some minutes so that it can be ready;on the other hand the service team are professional and knows what they are doing especially, Linda, John, Steve and Aggry. Rachel also was very keen to know whether all was okey in our training.All was well

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is good, breakfast is great! Rooms are clean. Complementary water bottles provided daily. Sometimes at night, the room is too warm and the AC doesn't seem to keep up. Rooftop dinning at night is really nice and quiet.

Meridian Hotel is an awesome place to be,if you are looking for a nice spot to view all the Capital activities then you are in the best place,the staff and personnel have good customer relations and are always ready to offer guidance on any hiccup you might have,coupled with wifi and an executive lounge to provide the best companionship to ease down the weekly or monthly tussle. I'm sorry I have to contradict those who have had a very positive review. Everything is a bit outdated, a slightly dusty atmosphere. The reception staff is bored and arrogant, have spent 30 minutes to check-in. Low quality breakfast. Even for a transit stay I would choose another option.

I had a swell time here. They have a nice swimming pool and spa on the 7th floor. Thanks to Wilson(housekeeping), Mary (Reception) and also the chef that made my scrabbled eggs every morning. I would love to come again someday.

I spent a night before going to safari and after I came back from the beach. Staff is friendly, there is nice ambiance with restaurant and lounge, rooms are comfortable and shower is quite good! Unfortunately I did not get the chance to enjoy the swimming pool and gym. But breakfast was absolutely amazing, including a nice selection of cheese! Who stays long in Africa will surely value this info.

The hotel is not far from the airport but traffic is horrible and the drive is a great introduction to Nairobi - do NOT drive to the hotel unless you are used to Nairobi's traffic. We arranged for transport through the hotel. When you arrive, the car is searched for explosives (mirrors looked under the car) and we walked through a metal detector - so your safety is important. Nice hotel - very comfortable rooms and a dining room that had a variety of food options (although nothing too inspiring or interesting). Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choices! The pool on the top floor is beautiful. The weirdest thing - we were told the owner is from India and apparently he allows friends and acquaintances from church to cut through the dining room to the backdoor - it was a strange to have ongoing traffic of people not eating there.

I was amazed by the hospitality of the staff in Best Western Plus especially Julius, Benjamin, Aggrey and Richard. They are extremely friendly. Their food was as world-class as anybody can imagine. I wish to be back again for such unforgettable services that I was accorded.

I find this hotel is great value for the money you spend. It's centrally located, the hotel is clean, staff are friendly and very accommodating. My dealings with the manager, Narender, were very positive and he helped accommodate a late check-out for me during a pre-Christmas season, when the hotel was busy. Breakfast was included, with a lot of choices to suit your appetite - one of the chefs, Evans, always has a smile on his face and is happy to fry up special requests. I have stayed here over 10 times and will continue to book at this hotel.

Check in was speedy, staff were friendly, room was comfy and had shampoo etc provided. Drinks at the pool bar were lovely. Had beef for dinner and would not recommended that but apart from that everything was lovely. Great selection of yummy food for breakfast including hot meal, tea, coffee cereal, juice, fruit and yogurt.

Dont stay at this hotel, more better options available close by.Food was terrible, aircondition would go below 22C so was sweating all night, and things broken in the room. I'm a diamond select member, so I'm reinforcing the fact this was my worse bestwestern stay ever.

I stayed here for 4 nights during my visit to Kenya. The hotel itself is right in the center of Nairobi with shopping close by . The hotel is a good pick up place for group tours and day tours. The room had plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable. The room was nice just a little nude whiteout a personal twist , the space over the bed should have had a Kenyan themed painting or maybe photos of different animals of Kenya in each room (even something small can make a difference). There is a refrigerator in the room to store your snacks and drinks. They had a small meny in the lobby from where you can order things to the room . The prices where good and they had a selection of things to order . However there could have been some more smaller items for variation . A good move would have been to place small order forms in the rooms where the customer could have taken their time to decide whiteout stress. That would have been a little easier and im sure they would have sold more the guest could have just left them filled in the room (maybe for cleaning staff to collect) or walked down and handed them over. The staff was very friendly and was great talking to , the breakfast offered a good selection of things with plenty of space next to the lobby. Even if I had some bad luck with the weather I really enjoyed my stay Kenya is beautiful.

If you are looking to stay in the city but not in the hotel a lot this is the perfect place. It is near the heart of everything, food shopping, transit etc. However; do not come her for luxury... there was a strong mold scent that got me sick. If this was fixed, I would have enjoyed my stay there a lot better, but got really sick.

I stayed for five nights and could not have asked for a better location or visit. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the wifi worked well. I enjoyed the breakfast and the amount of staff that was willing to accommodate. Special thanks to Mary and Paul at the hotel. Other thanks go to the travel desk where John and Divinah were helpful. Our room was good, clean and quiet. We are really happy. On our way to Masai Mara we stayed one night and after coming back from Masai Mara again one night we stayed. We are pleased with their service.

It used to be a good Hotel but not Now Location is good if you want to stay in city center Rooms are OK, Staff is polite & nice Restaurant Food is not good, Chicken Biryani during Lunch was Worst I ever had and Tried Chicken Curry in evening and it was same too ;-( Breakfast doesn't give you many options and cost saving seems moto of Hotel Room Service bill is exaggerated with charges and many other charges for guests too, they seems to have a over-smart accounts head wanting to make quick money for Hotel Will prefer to avoid BW in Nairobi for future

We are staying at this hotel continuing our African adventure as we are required to in order to take a light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. Just hoping it will come up to expectations as Nairobi is probably the most neglected , poor & depressing city we have ever visited. We selected this hotel because of positive reviews which were probably in the context of Nairobi.I have given this place an average but in a more affluent city it would be poor. I have to say the people we have dealt with are very nice which is a great tribute to them considering their environment. At this point I would have to say you would only visit this third world place if you really had to & I think this hotel is about as good as it gets here

I visit Nairobi for business and was made to move to this hotel due to bad service at the hotel I stayed in the first. I must recommend the management and staff at Meridian, from the moment I arrived to the night I left, the service level made me feel more at home.

The hotel location is right in the busy area. The area is not upscale, a single woman would not feel safe venturing out alone at night. Uber is safe and inexpensive. Skip the hotel tour desk and do your own planning to avoid inflated cost. Convert your money to Nairobi shillings at the airport upon arrival,- hotel exchange is higher conversion fee. Mind your manners as someone is ALWAYS watching.

Me and my wife stay for two night in the best western , actually the staff was very friendly and helpful breakfast was good but not perfect and the roof bar was very nice , we recommend this hotel for any type of staying

Really please with this wonderful hotel. There is security where every car entering is checked and every person goes through a metal detector like at the airport! You feel very safe! The staff could not be friendlier, they take your room, show you how everything works and the room was lovely. There is a small pool and gym too. The restaurant is open 24 hrs al-a-Carte so everything you need it right there!

The location of the hotel is grey if you want to be in the city centre however it can be a bit of a pain to get to at peak traffic time. The hotel itself is lovely, everything was clean, smart and fresh. It had a really good feeling about it. The room was spacious and had everything we needed with a very comfortable bed and air con. Towels and amenities were provided. We went to the roof top bar for a few drinks at happy hour and it was lovely. A great use of a space that would otherwise be wasted. It was a shame we could not stay longer. There was an excellent choice of drinks and food available throughout the restaurants as well as a 24 hour coffee bar. The indoor garden was beautiful and was so peaceful to sit in! We booked a trip to the elephant orphanage and giraffe Centre through the hotel and the taxi waited with us throughout the whole experience with our cases and took us to the airport. For convenience it may have been a bit more expensive but it was worth it. We had a great stay and would highly recommend others booking this hotel especially considering the price is very reasonable!

We had a longer stay here than planned due to a medical emergency, but we generally felt comfortable throughout our time here. We were welcomed by security and front desk staff, and they were helpful whenever possible. The rooms have everything you need, including a very comfortable bed, bar fridge, kettle, TV, and hair dryer. Wifi worked most of the time. The rooms aren't huge, but they're big enough, clean, and are a nice and quiet haven from the traffic outside. The room service menu is quite expensive, though, and on the one occasion we ordered in, the lady on the phone sounded bored and inconvenienced, and then only provided half of our order so we had to share dinner. There are plenty of other cafes and restaurants in the area, most of which deliver via Uber eats, so we didn't go without in this location. The hotel is also near a laundry, pharmacies, bottle shops, and there is an in-house tour desk, too. Breakfast was adequate, however the staff here were a little overbearing at times, hovering around us and at one point confronting us directly about our answers to an “anonymous” survey. It didn't make us feel particularly comfortable. A decent stay in the heart of the CBD.

Booked 5 nights, arrived one day late due to bad weather in transit, due to internet issues hotels.com would not allow me in to notify hotel. When we arrived a day late, the staff worked hard to place us into a room. Can't say good enough things about this establishment! All was as advertised and better! The room was fabulous, clean, well appointed, with a great rooftop terrace, bar and pool. We ended up having our dinner there, did I mention that the bartender made the best margaritas I've had in a long time? Breakfast included was better than great! Loved our stay, highly recommend.

Mr. Narendra was the person who gave us a good deal as were checking out early morning and did not need breakfast. The hotel was clean and the family room was just perfect. There was a nice sitting area with microwave, fridge, tv, sofa etc. Not too much choice in food, but overall excellent experience. Best choice for us!!

The hotel is very clean and we found the whole staff to be welcoming. There was a bit of a misunderstanding upon our check in but the hotel quickly resolved it. As first timers in Kenya, the hotel staff particularly Stella was always willing to give us directions, tips on where to go. Clean hotel, convenient if you doing business in the city tour, also if you want to experience the city as it's in a walking distance.

We stayed here both before and after a safari trip. It is a very comfortable hotel and the rooms were very clean. I had requested a quiet room and both times we were happy with the position. We had booked a walking tour of the city before starting our safari and the location of the hotel was perfect for this. We also thought the room rate was very reasonable compared to airport hotels. Breakfast was good but the omelette chef wasn't there at 6am and early breakfasts are essential for safaris. The staff were friendly and efficient and we felt safe staying here. We particularly enjoyed the 2 for 1 glasses of wine during happy hour when we returned from our trip!

I've stayed in many hotels in Nairobi over the years, and can honestly say that this is one of the best places I've stayed since I first began coming to Nairobi in 1996. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and full of variety, and the staff were all kind and enthusiastic about our stay. I will definitely recommend Best Western Meridian to my friends who come to Nairobi, and am already looking forward to staying with you again in the future!

Really enjoyed my staff here. Staff were exceptionally friendly and really went out of their way to help. I had a well appointed very clean room. Wifi throughout the hotel was excellent. Roof top pool and bar are hidden gems. Well worth a look!

Stayed for 1 night with a group of 7. Pros: Rooms well furnished and spacious, very practical. Bathrooms clean. Staff attentive. Cons: Some flies around the breakfast area. Unclear with how to arrange for a taxi at the reception area.

This is a great choice if you are on a budget. I was advised not to step outside the hotel at night as a result of the unsavory characters milling around. The check in process is smooth and the staff are courteous and professional.

We recently returned from our two-week adventure from Kenya. As we traveled to many places in Kenya, Meridian Plus hotel was out connection point in several occasions. I really loved this hotel. We stayed there four times within two weeks. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The restaurant had great selections of Indian, Chinese, and East African food. We had our breakfast, lunch and dinner there. It was very safe and the hotel is located in fairly safe area, although we did not go out much. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.Great place for the great price.

The hotel double charged my card. First it was declined on one pos terminal, then accepted in the other. But my bank statement shows two transactions and no one can do anything about it from their side after almost one month. Not acceptable

A good value for money hotel for families. Very friendly staff and management. Large family room for three; excellent breakfasts; kids enjoyed the roof top pool. We were pleasantly surprised. Very nice staff.

After 2 weeks in the dust and with another 2.5 weeks ahead of us, staying in this nice business hotel gave us a welcome break. Clean, efficient and comfortable. They provide safe airport transportation but it's quite expensive (50$ 2-way). For early birds, there's a limited breakfast or you can opt for a breakfast box.

Stayed 2,5 month at the BW Meridian hotel from beginning of June to mid-August 2019. Very pleasant and relaxed hotel in the Central Business District (CBD) which is a great location for most activities and criss-cross travel in Nairobi. The absolutely highest recommendations for the staff at the hotel - from the general manager Ravi via the front office manager Narender to the rest of the staff at the hotel. All the staff were always friendly, always helpful, always nice which is quite a feat 24/7 over a period of 2,5 months. Would particularly promote the waitresses and waiters at the Rendezvous restaurant and the breakfast chef there which made life closer to home than any other hotel I have stayed in the last 30 years (I have had up to 200 travel days per year these years). The business staff were very helpful with business amenities when needed. Clean hotel with good rooms and varied food. Separate travel desk which amongst other arranged a very nice trip to Amboseli national park (incredibly nice English-speaking driver). Many places to work undisturbed from rooftop area via 1st floor lounge area to ground floor area. Missing things: (1) no printer in business area, had to get prints at reception which also handled scanning instead of being able to scan myself, (2) internet occasionally going down, but was fixed very quickly (IT staff conveniently present and helpful from 6 am to 10 pm).

Rooms are big enough, clean, hot shower, a/c working properly. Nice rooftop pool. Restaurant serves variety of food, good service (especially the waiter by the name Suzan). I'll recommend about this hotel.

I can't say enough about how nice, polite and friendly the staff are. I have just stayed at the hotel for 6 nights before my safari. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Chelsea and John were able to help me organize a last minute trip to the National Park along with the occasional taxi's. The breakfast area in the morning offers full breakfast with someone cooking eggs and other egg dishes. They offer some foods from different cultures to accommodate different tastes. The plugs in the room are the 3 pronged British plug. There was a fridge in the room along with a kettle. Was always quiet and I never heard any noise from outside. The hotel is in the CBD area and was close to walk to a grocery store (Tusky's) as well as close to the city market, less than a 10 minute walk. I had no problem walking outside during the day by myself. I wouldn't continue down the road from the hotel (away from Moi Road) as the area does not appear very safe to walk alone in. But, heading towards Moi Road all the way to Kenyatta and down a few blocks from there was fine. If you are looking for a good priced hotel in the CBD area where it is easy to get around, I would recommend this hotel. I will be returning to the BW after my safari for a couple of days prior to flying back home.

We stayed here for 2 nights and were happy with the service. They have a small rooftop pool and a nice area to chill out. Our room was comfy and clean. We hired an iron and ironing board for free no problem. Breakfast was fine.

I have slept like s baby.Perfect mattress. Perfect pillow. Very clean. Good hot shower and good pressure. The heated pool was not so warm as expected. It was perfect. The only thing I complain is that eight members of the staff were sitting nearby the pool and talkig to each other, laughing and watching us (my wife and me) sunbathing.. What are you thinking. Would you be happy about this?

This hotel, hidden away at the beginning of Muranga Road is exceptional in its amenities - room, dining, bar, board-room. I did not get to use the pool or the gym though. They have a parking lot for drive in guests and offer a transfer service to and from the airport - I am not sure if they have the same for the SGR. It is a bit pricey for the area, target market and city and I am sure they can re-look at the price and make it much more competitive. The dining area is a little too public as well, perhaps some sort of barrier from the reception area is a thought

From the very beginning, I had a great stay at this hotel. Everyone wanted to carry my bags for me and bring them up to my room or babysit them while I had breakfast, I got greeted at Reception both times with a delicious little glass of tropical juice, and the staff just did an overall fantastic job of helping me feel welcomed and valued. The rooms were beautiful (I went on safari between two nights' stay here), and the food was awesome. I didn't have time to use the amenities, but I wish I did. Oh, the guest guide and art were great, too!

I arrived exhausted after having 2 hours sleep at 7am. I asked for early check in. They charged me more than I paid for a night at the hotel when I booked. Ok it included one of the least inspiring buffet breakfasts I ever had. Greasy and cold and rubbish coffee I really was expecting a friendly hotel but far from it. That is apart from the lovely people at the door and security. It is central and great for UBER bookings

We got to hotel at 4.30am in the morning.... there was no family room available but the staff were amazing at sorting everything out for us ... they went totally out of there way ... we were all very tired after our long journey from LA but the staff made us feel so taken care of. Had wonderful breakfast and dinner at hotel ... great food and service. Our rooms were so nice, so clean and the amenities in room well stocked , we were impressed. The people at tour desk helped us sort out where to go our first day ....very helpful...and felt that there sorting out of taxi service to each thing we wanted todo was so good for us. We are back again in 11 days to spend our last night in Kenya here .... because we had such a good stay for our first night we are looking forward to this been a lovely ending to our vacation also

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay before the start and end of our safari. We opted for airport transfer, which was $25 each way (total for 2) and were collected on time outside of the airport. The driver was friendly and knowledgable about the areas we drove through. Our check in was prompt with friendly staff. We used the pool/bar facilities on the 7th floor, which were lovely. A small pool which serves its purpose and a bar with pool menu that was great. They have happy hour from 5pm-8pm ($4 for 2 glasses of wine!). The breakfast was sufficient with fresh omelette. Overall, I would recommend for a short stay, particularly in between safaris as the location is close to the main road for the long drives. Shout out to Evalyne for her help with printing documents for us ( very patient and helpful).

Best Western Hotels rooms especially the bed and the guest room decors and wall paintings brings the best memories I have ever experienced. And the staffs? Very courteous including the Chef's who even spares his time to engage the patrons whether they are enjoying their meals

Spent three comfortable days at Best Western. Staff was very friendly including Rose our waiter for dinner at the rendezvous restaurant. The pool was a great perk too! Food was good. Locals suggested this was a safe area of town to stay at as well.

I stayed here for two nights at the very start of my trip to east Africa. For the price paid this hotel offers excellent value for money! The fixtures and fittings in the hotel room are all modern, the room was impeccably clean and of a high standard. The breakfast was excellent- wide choice in the buffet and table service for coffee. The staff were very helpful and prompt with requests. An excellent stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel, Nairobi was decent enough. The most outstanding feature was the pleasant and helpful attitude of the staff. The amenities were also functional. An ok experience.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights and was not disappointed! I requested a quiet room and one was not available. Juliet worked her magic and was able to get my a quiet room for me. The breakfast was great with many choices and started at 6am. They do boxed breakfasts if you need something earlier. The pool area on the roof was fantastic! I enjoyed a few evenings up there. There is a bar to get drinks and many lounge chairs to relax in. The pool was more of a dipping pool which was great as I didn't want to swim laps anyways. Room was clean, spacious and comes with a safe and mini fridge. The comfortable bed helped me get through my jet lag. Highly recommend!

The hotel was great, we only stayed for one night but it's clean, nice and big rooms, the food was great and felt safe at all times. The food and beer are a little expensive but it's what you expect in a hotel catered for westerners. All in all a good place to stay if visiting Nairobi.

The Best Western Royal Inn in Chattanooga Tennessee is home away from home for me and so I am a travel nurse. You will come to find Excellent service clean rooms and hot breakfast every morning. You will begin to know everyone on a name by name basis and a smile upon every greeting into their door. I will always recommend the Best Western Royal you an inch at anuga Tennessee to anyone abroad.

Found we had an unexpected night with nowhere to stay and were booked into this Hotel. A great choice .Centre of Nairobi. Very clean, fabulous food, very friendly bar staff, namely Moses. Receptionists were exceptional as well and unfortunately I noted their names and have since lost the note . (23 rd April we were there) Should we have the good fortune to be back in Nairobi we would certainly return to this hotel.

I stayed here twice, once at the beginning of my trip and once towards the end. The hotel was in a good location. clean, and the staff was kind. Rooms are not huge, but a reasonable size for two people.

the room allocation when we checked in was the worst we were placed in a very small room with blocked view of nothing, the reception staff were so unprofessional and discriminating the second stay was a smaller room with roaches and flying insects, amenities was zero plus we had to take a breakfast box for early departure and when i asked for black coffee it came with milk then they changed it with a mixture of tea and coffee that's what i discovered after i have left off-course

Central location, great service, average facility. great breakfast with good service. The room was modest but adequate. I would use the facility again for a similar trip, all of it met my expectations.

Had a week long exiting experience at prideinn raphta while attending a conference for the youth. The food was soooo delicious, the conference rooms well equipped and the service staff very efficient. Special mentions to Eunice Gachwe and Philip Amalemba for their hospitality.

The room we have had HORRIBLE sound proof! We can hear everyone walked past our door, next door ordered room service, and all the conversations! Either our neighbor were standing at the door and chat (it was late night I didn't open the door and check). I couldn't sleep the WHOLE NIGHT! I'm surprised no reviews about this. But a hotel like this with horrible soundproof is terrible! I really regret choosing this hotel. The restaurant is very expensive as well.

I was very happy with my stay here as a solo traveller. The staff are very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. I forgot some electronics in my room after checking out, and one or the staff members was quick to bring it down for me (thanks again). The breakfast is different every day and there are plenty of vegetarian options. The rooms are quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's also centrally located and close to a police station. I found it to be great value for money, especially compared to other hotel chains in Nairobi. There's even a nice pool lounge and a happy hour which made me happy.

My stay at the Best Western Plus Meridian in Nairobi was one of the most enjoyable stays i have ever had in a hotel. From first arrival where the reception staff were friendly, helpful and quick in processing me, to entering my beautiful room (better than the pictures online for once!) which was spotless to the excellent breakfast buffet which had plentiful options was a treat. Will definitely be staying here when I next come back to Nairobi.

Good location,Good Breakfast & service. House keeping is excellent. Toilets are small in size. We had a group of 6 people & every one enjoyed the stay. Will love to stay again. People of Kenya very nice. In Breakfast, every day new Indian items

Was in Nairobi in the beginning of May for a business trip. Clean rooms and fast services compared other hotels in the area. Roof top bar and gym were my favorite amenities. They're breakfast tops it all although there's room for improvement with the pace in the department

Another name for this hotel is Awesome, the room is great, spacious, looks very new and clean not different from what they have displayed on the gallery. Very welcoming staff with smile faces always ready to help out at any point, always checking on you to be sure they are treating you well (Are you OK? - I got this at least 3 times a day!, they practically know when I'm moldy). Above all this hotel is cheap compare to what they are offering. Buffet is awesome I must say!!! Special thanks to Caroline, Esther, Juliet, David, and Ruth, I will surely recommend your hotel to hospitality team in my company to keep sending staff here.

Spent 4 days in this Hotel and it was great. Very clean and modern with very friendly staff and efficient service. Not the greatest part of Nairobi and I avoided venturing out at night. I would definitely stay here again. The menu of the restaurant is also fairly large and the food is well prepared.

It is my second visit to Nairobi and I am glad I chose to stay here again. From the moment I organised the airport pick up (as I was boarding my flight in Mauritius) since we were arriving in a Late flight to the time we checked out, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel is also located centrally within walking distance of many institutions and the Kenyatta avenue. I wish I remembered the name of the person who served us twice at the restaurant. She went out of her way and I can't thank her enough. At dinner on 18th and again at breakfast on the 20th may.

Nice, modern, small, very comfortable rooms, with all the necessary amenities. Great location (in the city center). Breakfast was superb and the staff is amazing. The person at the reception was so kind we decided to stay. The pool is quite nice as well. The WiFi is not very fast and it would be nice if there was more light in the public spaces.

I attended a conference with Global Communities and I was absolutely astonished by the level of service. It was not just high but rather top notch. The ambiance was great, lighting and the sound system. I loved the food. It is probably the best in town. Let me single out the service of Aggrey in the Banquets who was ever smiling and kind to all of us. That is an effort that is commendable. Looking forward to being there again.

Just a couple of short stays at this hotel on my way in and out of Nairobi. The staff made me very welcome and helped with any request. The food was nice and very available with the lunch going until late and restaurant open all day. They kindly upgraded my room on my return and it was very spacious with good tv channels. Thoroughly recommend

Nice hotel in a great location with good facilities and lovely, friendly staff but spoilt by a very rude Manager who ordered my pregnant wife to sit up when she was feeling sick and couldn't use our room.

We had a very nice stay and workshop in the hotel and the services were on top. The IT girl was superb and is there when ever she is called to fix any IT problem Caroline had been superb on her services especially and the services offered late when the restaurant and bar are closed The security personnel were up to date and respond to any incident Rooms are clean and well maintained and the Laundry services are on time and you won't regret Will visit again for a family visit

The employees here are top notch. Damaris, Esther, and Elizabeth did an excellent job of welcoming me to Nairobi and Best Western. They made me feel at home and took very good care of me. And Celion (sp) did a wonderful job of keeping my room clean and stocked with whatever I needed.

i am still here, say 9 of 10. Breakfast has been consistent, room service has a Chinese, an East African and an Indian chef which meant the food was all worthy it. Guest come from all over the world, mostly business men and international travelers en route to the wilder side of Kenya. It is on the prime side price-wise, hence not ideal for long stays but then again it is 4-point-5 Stars. The staff is amazing - from Beth and Peris at reception to the friendly chefs. The quality of the rooms and the location is, I think, why this hotel was chosen for the first leg of my residency in Nairobi.

Hotel is well located with roof swimming pool and breath taking incredible services. professional all the way from the cook way up to the top management. i really enjoyed my stay. the location in the cbd made my operartions and movements easier. the food was magical and finger leaking good.

The service and people who are working there is great, but the hotel is not much to brag about. How they get a rating of 4,5 amazes me. Had to change room three times because of smell of the AC or something. The staff was helpful and did what they could to get me a good room, so creds to them for that. Smallest pool and gym I ever have seen, and the gym didn`t have much to offer. Had a friend over after I arrived at 22.00, their policy is to charge 50$ if they come to your room after 18.00 so just a heads up! I didn`t know this so they gave me a discount so only had to pay 35$, but still, my friend was there for just a couple of hours, they charged me probably because she was a girl, and they thought she was a hooker! I like to try new hotels for the experience, but this was not a good one, staid just one night, then changed...

Well located, clean and good food. Stayed solo and felt secure. The minus was being told to wash my hands in the toilet when i had my first dinner there on arrival (Ate elsewhere for the other days i stayed there). For your level of hotel, you can do better than that. Not sure whether it was a condescending waiter or one who was on her first day at work and was as well having a bad day. I leave it at that.... Would stay there again though as the rest of the staff were excellent.

We had a great stay at this hotel, staff were really friendly and would always want to make your day great. They are always want to please in every way, food was great too. Swimming pool is small but heated. It is located centrally, its about an hour from the airport but Nairobi central is always traffic so give a bit of time if you are travelling back to the airport. If you want to visit Karen Hub, its about an hour and a half with traffic which was actually pretty bad. I would recommend to stay in Karen if you want to visit Giraffe center and other tourist destinations as this is only next door. Always use Uber to go around the city it is a lot cheaper compare to taking a taxi from the hotel .

The most important things I consider for a hotel is cleanliness, customer service, and the comfort level of the room. Best Western Plus Meridien did a great job here. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. They made the difference between a good hotel and a great hotel. Dorothy checked us in and she did it in a timely manner and we were even upgraded! The room was spacious enough for 2 people with a large bathroom (all amenities included, shampoo, soap, hair dryer, towels). The room has a safe so you can store your valuables in there. They bed is super comfortable. They have a rooftop pool with is sort of small but they did well with the space they have. They got a gym space as well as spa services. Massages go for 3000ks for 30min or 4500ks for 60min. They also got drink specials like happy hour (5-8pm) at their bars that you can take advantage of. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to couples or families.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful, Thanks and appreciation to Mr.Amit and Mr.Ravi; the rooms are spacious, clean, and modern; the breakfast buffet is very extensive and delicious; the food and drinks a la carte are very nice too.The roof top gym & swimming pool an absolute asset too with cbd view. The courtesy of the staff more than makes up for any other shortcomings. Very lovely handling of guests. Very good location. Comfortable and down to earth ambience. The food in the room service is good, it can be better in the restaurants. The coffee shop should be separated from the restaurant downstairs.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel,the employees were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and all the services offered to us..only small details need to be improved like in any other hotel.

The BW Plus Meridian Nairobi is a good hotel. Especially to emphasize is the super friendly staff... really extraordinary. Be it at the reception, at breakfast or at the pool - always very attentive. The rooms are in order. Nothing special, but clean and sufficiently equipped and also with a quite large TV set as well as Save and a small refrigerator. The only drawback is the fact that all rooms are located around a kind of inner courtyard. Thus, if you stand in front of your room door, you can also see all the other rooms and below (ground floor) a nice lounge. BUT... due to this arrangement of the rooms it is a bit noisy in the evening and in the morning. Of course you can hear all the doors slamming and in the evening you hear a lot more when other (more ruthless) guests go into their rooms, as there are no separate corridors. But it's not too extreme now, but I thought it was important to mention that. And the hotel can also be described as clean. The room service is also very neat.

My stay at Best Western Meridian Hotel was the best I ever had. The receptionist who checked us in ,ms Beth was all jovial and courteous. They actually agreed to store our luggages overnight as we were to check in the next morning which was so good of them. Juliet the waitress Gave us the best service and a very delicious supper. My colleagues and I will surely come back.

sNice rooms with windowed bathroom. Clean. The pool on the rooftop is just perfect for business meetings, as it is partially covered. Bar service up there is a plus.The food is also nice. Fruits platters are delicious. Will come back.

Staffs are very accommodating and smiles a lot that can brighten your long haul flight and whole day meeting. Breakfast was great too :) The room i stayed at was clean and peaceful but wi-fi was slow.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Made us feel pampered. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast buffet also nice .The hotel is located in the center of the city but the area is not conducive to walking around especially after dark. However the hotel makes every effort to ensure the safety of their guests within it's immediate environment.

Rooms are nice and food was great but had a few issues. The toilet splashed water everywhere when flushing, the fridge in the room didn't work, they didn't come to fix after at least two requests and they wouldn't refune the extra beer I'd ordered that had gotten warm without a fridge when I complained I didn't drink it for that reason. Overall not a bad hotel though, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and food was nice!

Good hotel within the CBD close to many businesses. Very friendly staff and we received good level of service. Hotel is clean with a very nice view on the 7th floor. Breakfast is very good with choices and we had enjoyed the juices. Room is equipped with free WiFi and the bed is comfortable too. We found useful the choice of power sockets in the room. The onsite taxi service is also very friendly and affordable.

My wife and I stayed here for a night. The room was okay but nothing fantastic. We had to leave at 6.30am the next morning but breakfast was not fully ready at that time, only bits and pieces were available. Not good enough considering what we paid for the night. Location does not look great. Generally felt that the place is over-priced.

Hotel itself is a little bit shabby and outdated. But on another hand it is clean and tidy. The staff is extremely friendly. There is retautant 24/7 and breakfast is very tasty and rich. Swiming pool is small but nice one

Me and my Son stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in March 2019. The hotel is located just off Moi Avenue in the heart of Nairobi City Centre. It is within easy reach / walking distance of everything in the city. The hotel is decorated to a reasonable standard. Rooms are comfy cosy and nicely decorated. There is Air Conditioning, Fridge, Safe, tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant served a good selection of breakfast, cereals, fruits, pastries, Indian vegetarian, English breakfast, tea coffee and fruit juice. There is a roof top bar and a small heated swimming pool where food is also served. There is also a bar adjacent to the restaurant with a pool table. Credit goes to the dedicated staff, always friendly helpful hospitable attentive and always smiling. A Huge thanks to everyone who made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

We had 2 night stay and we were really happy we booked that hotel. Location was nice, all workers were kind and helpfull. Room was clean, cozy and big.Breakfast was really tastey. Hotel also helped booked transfer airport-hotel- airport. Roof pool was also super!!! Thank you, we enjoyed our stay.
