    « comfortable hotel »

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. Staff are friendly, helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. They have a smoking lounge at the 5th floor with a street view. Only the improvement could be the breakfast. Bread was hard, not too much selection of food.

    « COSY COMFORT »

This was my 2nd visit for business meetings and found it very convenient on each visit. The Hotel is manned by friendly and accomplished staff. The hotel is situated in the CBD which makes it convenient to finish a lot of work and meetings. The hotel rooms and service are good and comfortable. The breakfast spread is generous and ample of good quality. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends.

    « I miss it already!! »

Beautiful hotel. The staff from restaurant to front desk to front door to house keeping were very nice & friendly. I appreciate their efficiency and kindness. The rooftop pool area is awesome.. HEATED pool is needed! Great touch, great ambience. The Asst Mgr for F & B was so professional & kind as well. I was leaving area b/c I wasn't feeling well, as always they ask if I need anything.. so je facilitated ginger tea to come to my room, I just had to open the door & sign my bill. The young lady was kind as well. I would really stay there again. No complaints.

« Decent, comfortable, friendly hotel »

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. Staff were really friendly and went the extra mile when my partner needed some help finding a Chemist after hours. The room was very comfortably and food decent enough. I like the space and the roof-top bar / pool. Good value for money.

    « Totally awesome stay! »

The hotel is well kept, clean and the employees are very professional. Kudos to John the duty manager for his great hospitality! I had forgotten my rewards points when I booked but John took my name and address and did his magic to find my member number. Ask to speak to Amos as well and you will be well taken care of. Excellent customer service.

    « Central and adequate »

This hotel is very central and staff helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was good and enough choice. Parking secure. Wifi was sketchy in our small room, however comfortable and clean for the night we spent there.

    « Fantastic Service »

This hotel is located right in the Nairobi business district so within walking distance of shops, banks, restaurants and many tourist spots. There is a taxi rank just outside the hotel or you can easily get an Uber or Taxify cab, alternatively use a matatu for local transport. About a 15 min walk to KICC. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. I received a goodie bag on my arrival with fresh cookies, 2 bottles of drinking water, a voucher for a complimentary 15 min massage in their Spa and a small African carved elephant, nice gesture! I enjoyed the wide range of food available for breakfast and dinner which was fresh and well prepared. There is a rooftop sitting area where you can relax and get a great view of Nairobi city with a swimming pool and bar. There is also a spa and gym available for guests. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. A 4 star hotel that offers a 5 star experience. Highly recommended!

    « Ok »

We had one comfortable night at the Best Western. It is centrally located and suited our needs, without being spectacular. Breakfast was fine, nothing special, but the staff were friendly and the room was spacious and had a tv in it. Love, Joe and Nia

« Beautiful hotel, strategic location, great staff »

I spent 2 nights at this hotel with my 2 young kids. I loved the place from the get go. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options I rarely find elsewhere. The staff even helped me with my youngest while eating breakfast. I can't thank these guys much. Totally recommend! Definitely coming back soon. Thanks again.

« Exciting Moments at Meridian »

This is my third time staying at this excellent hotel. What keeps choosing to stay here every time I visit Kenya is that it is incomparable to other hotels I have opportunity to stay in Nairobi in terms of very cordial and professional staff, very conducive and safe environment, very comfortable rooms, excellent WiFi, sumptuous and healthy breakfast - services rendered by customer-friendly staff!

    « A place to return to »

Second time in Nairobi. First I got another hotel, but changed after one night to Best western. They have the best service there is. Allways service minded and eager to help you. The location is perfect in the center of town. Top quality for your money

« Highly recommended, all around high level experience! »

Let's start with breakfast: Breakfast is comprehensive: consistently had a omelet bar, fresh fruit, croissants, coffee, cheese, olives, rice, sautéed veggies, meat, and more! Buffet style, plenty to leave you with a full stomach to start your day. As with most restaurants in Kenya the service was warm, welcoming, and kind. We utilized the travel desk where the attendant was able to build a full day trip in our budget. We appreciated his ability to help us weigh options and answer our questions. Lastly, the professionalism and care of the staff was really unparalleled. Upon check in we were greeted with fresh passion fruit juice and an offer for a fifteen minute spa experience. This service continued throughout the week, where during breakfast the team would serve freshly brewed coffee and clean up our plates immediately after finishing our meal. The top it all off, the I felt genuine care from this staff. We were two women traveling together and one night we decided to venture out for a walk. It was about 7pm, the sun had already gone down and as we exited the hotel, the concierge ran over to check with us on where we were going and to ensure we remained safe in our adventure.

« Beautiful hotel and friendly staff »

I stayed in this hotel for 2 day with my family and i liked their level of professionalism! The room was clean, staffs was friendly and helpful, they were nice and helpful with the kids which was a bonus for me(considering how kids can be excited and overwhelming) . Overall our little stay was pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and i would definitely stay there the next that i am in Nairobi.

« Excellent! And withing walking distance from the city center. »

Loved everything about our stay here. Clean, spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds. Lovely, large bathroom. Courteous staff, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast too.. very good selection.

    4
    « Perfect accomodation »

The room was very spacious and clean. The service was excellent. The breakfast very good with american breakfast, fruit, juice, milk, tea / coffee, toast with butter and jam. However, there was not much offer in the restaurant menu for dinner. Good views from the terrace.

    3
    « Functional and basic »

This hotel has exceptional staff which seem to be bound by an incredibly diligent cost management team. Everything is designed around cost reduction: the internet; shampoo (but not conditioner); the room shuts down the moment you take out your card; there is almost nothing in the room; no steam irons etc). A good functional hotel with no soul but amazingly friendly staff

    3
« A good hotel in central location »

I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights and had a quite nice stay. The staff were welcoming and happy to help. The room was clean and pleasant enough for a two night stay. The wifi in our rooms was not working but the issue was resolved after a visit to the reception. The breakfast was pretty good and had enough items to choose from. However, you have to pay extra if you want an espresso, a latte or a cappuccino, which I found a bit disappointing. The hotel has a rooftop pool with a bar, which I visited for a quick drink and a bite but the food was bland. In my view the hotel offers a fairly good value for money if you want to stay in central Nairobi but although the place is perfectly fine, there is nothing exceptional or memorable about this hotel apart from the service.

« A wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel »

Writing to thank the wonderful staff of Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel in Nairobi. I stayed 3 nights and had a great time. Service in all departments was excellent, especially Pauline on the Guest Relations Desk. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Well done everyone! Joseph was so helpful organising transport and his driver Stevie was fantastic. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and colleagues. Steven.

« Good properties in the center of Nairobi »

This hotel locates on the side street very close by the central market area with all the shops and bus terminal. The traffic can be pretty bad during peak hours, it took us almost an hour to arrive from airport at 7PM. Hotel itself is very fine, the room is nice and breakfast is very good, personal is very attentive and friendly. Maybe it is good for business also if you prefer to stay close to the center.

    4
« Customer service done right! »

Fabulous hotel! I was greeted by Anne who made the check-in process quick and easy despite my early arrival. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. My only complaint is stiffness of the mattress. Perhaps the hotel can offer mattress toppers for those of us needing more cushion. I took advantage o the spa services and Pauline is amazing! She even recommended a skin care product and offered to venture out to the market to purchase it for me. The heated swimming pool is also quite lovely, small, but I was the only person utilizing it. Although the hotel is in a very busy area it feels totally safe and there are attentive guards always on duty. The staff at the information desk (I believe her name is also Pauline) was very helpful and even gave me a few tips on how to blend in when walking about the area. Overall I have a great experience. Also, the breakfast is filling and delicious and the African soup from the restaurant was AMAZING!

    « Heaven on earth! »

After a bad start in another hotel, I came here! Heavenly is an understatement! Very warm welcome, room spotless, lots of coffee, water and tea. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom spotless and full of the necessary toiletries. Roof terrace and staff are a good place to relax. Tour booking desk as very helpful. My driver Richard took me to the national park, giraffe sanctuary and elephant sanctuary. An amazing trip. I am looking forward to returning here after my trip to Zanzibar. Try the spa as well, very good massage.

« Good location and competitive price »

Very nice people and accomodation according to price of the rooms. Very good breakfast. Well, Kenia has a problem with the electricity hours, so at night there isn t, so you can not work at this time. I recommend to use somtype of generator.

    4
« Decent hotel at a reasonable price »

Our room was clean and well equipped, so no problems there. The shower was a little bit slow to drain, but it was workable. The rooftop pool area with bar was a lovely environment, sadly spoilt by overloud music. Furthermore, the music often contained the f-word and the c-word. I can only hope that the bar staff didn't understand the lyrics sufficiently. I truly hope that such music would not be played with children present. The food was good and the service was excellent at all times. The reception was also excellent and efficient. I would definitely stay there again, but would hope to see significant improvements in the rooftop music.

« Nice city hotel with lots of tourist attraction nearby »

This hotel is located at city center, CBD, National Museum, National Archives as well as universities are all very easy to reach by foot. There is also the KCB bank nearby if u need to withdraw cash using credit card. Hotel is also quite safe with entrance check all the time. Room is clean and cozy, I stayed there four nights. Everyday they provided two bottles of water for free (100ml each), such that i don't need to worry about water if i forgot to buy some during the day. In Kenya you have to buy/drink bottle water for sanitation reasons. Hotel personal are very friendly and always ready to help. One morning i needed to go out very early for safari, one person at the reception still allowed me to have breakfast before we started the journey, even though the official breakfast time has not started yet.. Restaurant is situated at ground floor, they have very good local coffee, tea and local east-african food like Ugali, Chapati, beans. I would strongly recommend them. Maybe try enjoying them with hand. :-) On ground floor there is also a company called 'Kenya Bush expeditions' providing safari and city tour as well as airport shuttle service, quite convenient, stuff are very friendly as well. Maybe a few weak points: first, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom during my stay.. In another hotel where i stayed in Mombasa before arrived in Nairobi has also no toilet brush, so maybe it is generally the case in Kenya that hotels do not provide it for customers..But I don't think this cost a lot, they should provide this for each room. Second, there is one fountain at 1. floor, it runs all day and night long. The problem is at night it is loud and quite noisy indeed. Sometimes you wonder whether it is the your bathroom that has the problem or sth else. I suggested them to turn it off at night, hope this will not be an issue anymore.. Third, the entrance door is open during day and night (if i remembered well), so at breakfast and dinner it is indeed quite cool because the restaurant is located just near entrance, sometimes i felt uncomfortable when having meal there, So maybe it would be better to close the door early in the morning and at night, given the fact that in Nairobi because of its altitude in the morning and night it is very fresh at summer. Another point about this hotel, in this hotel most things are priced as dollar. That means if u order a cup of coffee or tea or taxi, all are charged in dollar (all western standard). But outside the hotel u feel like that u are back in Kenya with local cheap prices. I don't know it is good or not, it just feels so big difference, life between those people from western and local people. Of course in Nairobi most things are more expensive than anywhere else in Kenya..

« Great place to stay »

Stayed her for one weekend and really enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is really nice, with walking distance to everything in the city center. The staff were very helpful, always making sure you had everything you need. The hotel has a rooftop pool, which was really nice, with a bar and selection of snacks. They also have a gym free of charge. All in all a good stay, with a good atmosphere.

« Great place to stay in Nairobi »

This hotel is well located and a great place to stay. I stayed at this hotel with my team on our visit to speak at a conference and it was absolutely a pleasure staying at this property. Rooms are clean. Their Night manager namely, Mr Narender is a remarkable staff who went above to ensure our stay was pleasant.

    4
    « Good location »

We stayed here after a late arrival before going out on our safari. The location is good if you are heading north the next day. Hotel is nice, clean, rooms well equipped. Breakfast was generous even early in the morning. We made our reservation directly to Best Western but even so, we had some troubles with checking-in (6 rooms). Thanks to all the papers and confirmations with had brought with it was perfectly solved after 30 minutes.

    « Mr Mohammed Laher »

I arrived and was upgraded to an executive room. Room facilities was to a high standard. The hotel is full with staff , who were all very very helpful. My stay here was so stress free , considering I was on a business trip . I have to say from the General Manager to the staff in the restaurant made me most welcome

« Centrally located and excellent staff »

I am pleasantly glad I booked my stay with Best Western Meridian. Kudos to the excellent staff starting with Phoebe and Isaiah (guest relations). Well done to the restaurant supervisor, Julius and the entire breakfast staff-they readily knew what I liked. A big thank you to Alice-the room attendant. She went above and beyond to ensure that my muddy shoes were clean.Thank you so much Alice!!! Last but not least, the security team, keep up the good job!!!You always put a smile on my face. Thanks guys.I will definitely return.

« On our way to Mombasa »

Great central location. The staff couldn't be more helpful. We had a problem in our initial room but a phone call later we were moved and upgraded. I had a massage which was divine and the breakfasts were delicious. Would certainly stay here again.

    « conferencing location convenient »

Was referred by a colleague about the hotel's conference facilities I called and booked with Sarah. Lukenya was the hall we used and learnt they have 6more halls, everyone who served us was friendly and Sarah checked us all through which made us feel appreciated. Wi-Fi was fair and can be made better next time. Food was great and location convenient, will definitely come back

    5
    « Amazing staff »

I was so impressed with the staff at the the hotel- courteous, welcoming, ever-helping and just plain pleasant. The food and service were AMAZING and the openness of all the staff made our stay perfect.

    3
    « Unprofessional stuff »

I arrived at 11:30, and I get a good welcome with a small glass of juice. I get a room which have been locked the security box probably by a previous costumer. After 3 hours and half the hotel gave me another room....dirty room. After having talking with different receptionists, supervisors and general manager, I was been informed at 19:00 that the room would have been cleaned in an hour. 8 hours waiting. My sincerely congratulation of a Nairobi Best Western Hotel.

    4
    « Clean and friendly »

I stayed at the best western for two nights. The transport from the airport to the hotel worked out very well even though I was delayed by 8 hours and arrived in the middle of the night. The room was spacious and clean. The staff helpful and very friendly. The rooftop area is really nice and the location is ver central. I would come here again, the price was good too.

    4
« Very nice, pleasant stay. »

I was disappointed at first that there was no hotel shuttle at the airport. I used Hotels.com to book the room and their site indicated a shuttle, which they later explained had to be booked through the hotel. This did not help me while waiting at the airport. The hotel was quite nice. The staff are very attentive and polite. I believe every staff member I encountered asked how I was, how my stay was, etc. Two small items. Most of the breakfast food was on hotplates but not hot. The plate may have been but the food on the top was cold. Secondly, the floor or my room definitely could have been swept better. I had not brought slippers and had to constantly clean hair off my feet before getting into bed. All in all, no big deal. I will gladly return as everything about my stay, especially the comfort, was quite nice.

    5
    « Fantastic hotel! »

We loved our stay at the Best Western Plus Meridian hotel in Nairobi. The staff are very kind and helpful. The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts have a lot of selection. We booked our tours directly with the hotel and they were fantastic: affordable, reliable and interesting. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    « Professor/ Presidential Candidate 2016, Uganda »

Best Western Plus Meridian is one of the best hotels in Kenya. I stayed there in March 2018 for 4 days and if you asked I would never select another hotel as long as they are not fully booked. They have the best customer care and the services are well priced. I recommend to all medium and high class visitors to Nairobi, Kenya. Narender is doing a fabulous job and is very caring person for guests.

    5
« Best Western standards but great service »

We stayed one night and was a great option for a budget stay in Nairobi with US standards. Offer shuttle service from airport. Best part was the friendly staff which went above and beyond. They have a rooftop pool and bar but it was raining Would be back

    5
« Close to city, great staff »

I stayed at this hotel 3 times in Feb 2018 and I can highly recommend it. Central location means easy walk to shops, restaurants, museum, banks etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also recommend good selection of food at breakfast and dinner.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

I booked a room with an airport transfer for my elderly mother who had a long layover. She was met and collected from the airport and taken to the hotel where all the night staff were waiting for her. She was taken excellent care of. She said the driver was excellent and all the staff were too especially Emily and Maureen. We wish to thank you all for taking such good care of our Mom.

« Nice hotel, safe, good service »

Nice hotel with good walking distance to the city center. Small rooms, nice pool area. Breakfast ok, but the dinner service not so. If you need a decent hotel for few nights, this is suitable. Toilets and shower in the room small.

    5
« Great location and the friendliest staff! »

Stayed 5 nights at Best Western Plus Meridian and the hotel exceeded all my expectations! Having read lots of reviews of even some of the most expensive properties such as the Fairmont Norfolk, I was quite apprehensive about the safety in Nairobi hotels where breakins are common, aircon may not be working properly, noise level too excessive for a good sleep, etc etc. Best Western had none of these problems and is superbly well-run. From the moment we stepped in, we felt extremely welcome by the friendliest staff ever who gave us lots of advice where to go what to eat, etc. The hotel is also very conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city on foot in the day. The food was also extremely delicious. Will definitely stay there again next time... Thanks again to the staff who made our stay In Nairobi so comfortable!

    4
    « "Pleasant Stay" »

I would like to thank all the staff of Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel. They are very polite and friendly. The Ambiance of the hotel is good and also the locality for me was good as it is in the main CITY CENTER. If i will visit again to Nairobi i would prefer staying in same hotel. Once again THANKS!!

    5
« Excellent service and great value »

Simply loved this hotel. Staff has been extremely helpful. The value for money is exceptional and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast buffet. Although the burger a la carte was very good!

    4
« Decent hotel, bit overpriced »

Staff are really lovely here, they let us check in early after a long flight which really made us feel better and that we were getting a bit more value for money. The bed was quite comfy and the bathroom mostly clean with an alright shower. Pool area on the roof was good to sit at but the pool was a bit tiny.

    5
« Home away from home »

The stuff was so welcoming and accommodating my special needs especially I fell sick during my trip. Everyone was as friendly and caring as my own family who made me truely felt like home. My special thanks to Narender, Anir the chef, Phoebe, Rose and Susan from restaurant. Everyday people greeted me with smile and concern with my recovery. I felt like a princess!

    4
« Friendly staff, great price »

Good place to stay in Nairobi. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the massage at the Spa was really good, rooms were good and the food was great. The staff is what was best about the hotel, they always had time to chat and help with whatever problems one might have as a traveler in Nairobi.

    4
« Friendly staff, comfy beds and great bar. »

Stayed over at Tillington Hall for a one night stay as it is close to my place of work. Sky sports in the bar and the rooms which is great for a sports lover like me. Great friendly helpful staff and full buffet breakfast. Very good price as i booked in the winter sale. Stayed here at least eight times now and never had a complaint.

    4
« great price for a realy nice room for business »

got the first floor- with a guests lobby/hall. nice room- with very good wifi. food was quite good and the location is the best, although don't expect an exceptional view the rooftop is quite a surprise. great location to have a beer at the end of the day.

    5
« The customer service was outstanding. »

The rooms are clean, modern and compact, and open to a central atrium. We left our luggage in their storage while we went on a 3-day safari and on our return, the general manager graciously allowed us to freshen up and change for dinner in their pool dressing area even though we weren't spending another night there. Of special note is Amos, who really took great care of us, and Emily in reservations who located my adapter plug that I left in my room. The central location is also great. We would stay there again!

    « Great Hotel ***** »

Stayed from Jan 25 to Jan 31/18 Very good experience best coffee ever tasted at breakfast buffet. Hotel staff very accommodating and truly care about guests. Hotel Shuttle service from Airport was waiting for our arrival . Reasonable cost $35.00 Would definitely stay again. *****

    4
« Great hotel in excellent location »

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The central location is excellent as it is within walking distance to many places of interest within the city. The hotel room is comfortable and the food tastes good too. However the spread of breakfast dishes could be rotated more often for guests who stay for many nights as the same food can become boring. A shout of to the guest relation team. They are the most friendly and helpful team! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

    5
« Outstanding service when under great pressure »

I was one of many people who were booked into the hotel by Kenya airways due to a flight cancellation. Considering the many people being checked in at one time the staff were friendly and very efficient. I found the hotel nicely refurbished with the room being very comfortable. The roof top pool and bar was lovely with excellent service. Special mention goes to a lady called Grace from the Spa. She was outstanding in her friendly approach and nothing was too much trouble to explain or answer any question. A person who is a model for her co workers.. Well worth visiting.

    5
« Great Place to stay at a reasonable price in downtown Nairobi! »

I really enjoyed the feel of this hotel. Very friendly staff. The only negative I could say is about the fitness center/gym. They only have one small rack of free weights and should really have a lot more. The spa was great and offered a nice massage. Grace was very professional and did a very good job with the massage. The room I stayed in was small but very nice. I would stay there again!

« East or West , BEST WESTERN PLUS is the best »

I was on Business trip to Nairobi and staying in Best Western on my own decision while my friends had suggested other hotels in Nairobi and I was glad that I took that decision. Marvelous hotel at the city centre with all requsite facilities viz. Gym, Pool , bar, coffee shop, restuarant etc. etc. I stayed in executive room which was of good size. Cleanliness and room service was immaculate. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank Ms Lucy who extended me all help for reservation and allowed me to stay for an extended hour. I would like to specially mention about Ms Phoebe, guest relations who was very warm, cheerful and helpful . The breakfast and lunch are good and you don't have to venture out for food. I was also impressed by all the staff of the hotel be it reception, restaurant, room service, bell desk etc. who are well versed in their duties and know how to treat customer. Overall it was my best time in Nairobi and I felt like home at the hotel. Best Western plus is the best in town. It's better to stay here than any five star properties in Nairobi.

« Great stay, friendly and helpful staff »

We stayed at this hotel after a week-long safari. It is a great hotel in terms of cleanliness and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are large and layout of the hotel is very nice. The only downside was that the pool was quite small. The manager Julius was extremely helpful to myself and my family after our flight was cancelled and the chef made sure we were well taken care of. If I am ever back in Nairobi I will be sure to stay here again!

    5
    « Again mesmerised! »

This was my second time long stay (30 -60) days. It was like home away from home. Every day staff meets greet and ask you if you want any help. I believe they are best care taker. I specifically thanks Phoebe and julious for taking care of my need in terms of food and stay. Moreover they have best in class Indian food restaurant that serves you all Indian delicacy. Thanks to Anil.

« Good value, great staff »

A weeks conference here at the hotel. Staff are excellent, very friendly and attentive. Good terrace pool and bar. Great health spar and gym. Very secure. Pleased to recommend this hotel especially if you are looking for somewhere in central Nairobi. Rooms are comfortable and air conditioned. Housekeeping brought small cakes and fresh fruit daily to my room. Nice touch

    3
    « Does the job »

The reception was helpful and efficient. They quickly allowed me to settle into the hotel. It was a perfect stop-over landing in Nairobi and leaving the next morning for a safari. It was also not too far from Wilson airport. The room was basic, the price was fair. I arrived late at night and left early the next morning. Nothing special, but it was safe and comfortable.

    4
    « Good Hotel »

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Had to stay over due to missing the connection flight. Room are spacious and clean. Food in restaurant are good. Only negative is that it is not in a very nice area.

    « Outstanding Service »

We stayed for a total of 9 days. The service from security, check in , restaurant service was outstanding. The staff are well trained when it comes to customer service. Food is exceptional, if you have never tried beef bacon you don't know what you are missing! Located in the Central Business District.

    « Stop over plus »

We just needed a one night stopover after an international flight....the hotel provided a courtesy pick up from the airport which was most welcome....however, the traffic was just insane...it took nearly 1.5 hours to get to the hotel only 11kms away! The hotel was pretty much what you would expect...staff were friendly and welcoming...the restaurant served up solid fair but not anything to write home about....the rooms were SMALL....having said that the bed was comfortable with good quality bedding...shower was OK but could do with a refresh (grouting)...shampoo and shower gel provided...

    « Excellent »

This was a great value to stay at before we started our safari. The rooms were clean, great sun deck/pool area. Best butter chicken we have ever had. Super friendly and helpful staff. We rebooked for our way back through when we are done our travels.

« The perfect hotel for first time visitors to Kenya »

Located in the centre of Nairobi, the hotel is close to the museum, shops and not far from the airport. The hotel feels safe and secure. All of the staff are welcoming and very friendly. No problem was too big or too small - someone was always on hand to help. The in-house restaurant is exceptional. High quality food at very good prices. There is a large selection of vegetarian dishes as well as local cuisine. The buffet breakfast features a large range of foods from around the world. You never need to leave the hotel to eat if you don't want to. Rooms include air conditioning, free WiFi , a safe, mini fridge and plenty of electrical outlets. The rooms are comfortable and a good size. It's so quiet in the rooms that you'd never know you were in the centre of the Nairobi traffic. This is the perfect hotel for first time visitors to Nairobi. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would love to come back to stay again.

« Good for stop overs »

The hotel itself is decent and the food they serve is good. However the rooms are small and basic. We stopped over for 3 nights while traveling around Kenya and this was reasonable value for money given its location.

    « A little gem in Nairobi »

My fiancé + I stayed at the Best Western for a total for 4 nights (3 nights before our safari and one night after) while in Nairobi. We were surprised and delighted by the super friendly staff, the gorgeous rooftop pool (that we had all to ourselves for an afternoon) and the delicious food in the restaurant. The rooms are lovely and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you. This hotel has great value, and if ever in Nairobi, we will be back!

« Nice hotel for Nairobi centre »

We stayed here pre-and post safari. We were only in Nairobi for 3 night, 2 pre-safari and 1 night post safari. The hotel kindly stored our luggage whilst we went away on safari. The security were extremely polite, friendly and helpful.

    « Nice »

Stayed here for a 3 day business trip. Hotel is a little old and dated and not in a great part of town. Went out walking and felt perfectly safe so no issues there. It is however clean and the staff are great. If it's a business trip and you need to be in this location then it's cool

« Perfect for a night or two unwinding after safari »

We stayed here after a safari in the Masi Mara. The staff were excellent, particularly James the bell boy! We were on honeymoon and they made our stay so special. The roof area is a real surprise. High above the busy streets of Nairobi it is a peaceful haven. There is a big pool, a spa, a gym and a bar. All of a very high level, a day could be easily spent here unwinding with a good book.

« Fantastic conference facilities and support »

During an annual dinner meeting I was putting together for our company, Dennis was extremely patient in helping us choose a menu and conference room that were best value for money given our modest budget. The staff were on hand before and throughout the entire event to assist wherever was necessary although everything we could possibly require for the meeting as well as several extra amenities were already available before the meeting. Quiet room, professional and polite staff and proper facilities to accommodate all our meeting requirements.

    « Great Hotel! »

We stayed here for just two nights, one before and one after the safari. Our experience here was wonderful, the staff was great and so was the breakfast. The room was good but a tad small however it was clean. We would have liked to have stayed a bit longer and hopefully the next time we can. Highly recommended!

« Clean, Great Location, Helpful Staff »

The staff at the hotel continually were helpful and wanting to accommodate requests. We did walk in the area during the day and felt safe. The Tuskys supermarket is located in walking distance (credit or cash) as well as the craft market. We had pre-arranged two tours, not with the hotel, with One Horizon (Urban Adventures) and were pleased to be able to support local organizations with proceeds going to help communities. The hotel breakfast was excellent... ethnic foods, eggs to order, breads, juices, mineral water, etc. We had dinner at the hotel one night and also were pleased with the selection, cost and quality. The pool is beautiful and there is an excellent fitness center, with bottled water.

    « Nice place »

I have stayed here for 9 nights. Over all a very nice stay. Most of the staff was professional and service minded. The breakfast buffé had everything you could need. The buffé at lunch and dinner was superb. If you order from the menu, you get to large portions. Maybe thats not an issue. The room was clean and silent. It was only one girl in the staff that had a bad attitude. And unfortunatly when she worked, no one in the staff seem to do there job. I didnt get any service when she was around. But on the other side, there was a fantasic person called Rose, who really knew how to make you feel welcome.

« Amazing! But be careful about some prices! »

excellent location, excellent services, exept for wi-fi which is not good, excellent cleaning. You can find all desiderable comforts. Courteuous and attentive staff, but sometimes they give wrong information about some prices and internal services! So be careful and always ask for all the details. In any case I would like stay here again.

    « Really satisfied »

I do not know why this is rated "only" as three star hotel?, as this definitely is four star hotel. Staff took really good care of me and other customers and also outside of hotel was 2-3 employees 24/7. Employees in hotel and restaurang were also really smily, so I felt really happy of being customer. This place has really great athmosphere and workers really made me feel welcome and helped without problems if needed help. Around of 30 employees only one treated me presumptuously (I am rocker, not person in a expensive suit). Location of hotel is also excellent. This is in a silent side street next to Moi Ave. It is only 1,5 kilometers to National Museum etc. Also breakfast was "four star hotel" level. It was served at A Rendez-Vous that is outside of breakfast time normal restaurang. I was really happy to notice that in ala carte list they had well marked vegetarian choices and things that they include. Also waitresses confirmed from chef which are vegan options. In my third night here I decided to buy buffet and I was so happy to see that 9 choices of 11 hot dishes were vegetarian. All employees in restaurang treated "rock man" really friendly and down-to-earth way in breakfast and evening times. And they looked after customers if they needed something. I like to write names to my notes when I get good service. Thanks at least to Julius, Lilian, Rose, Lindah, Betty, Faith, Susan, Jacinta, John, James and Jackline.

    « Decent option »

We stayed here for 3 nights while traveling around Kenya during December. It's located close to Wilson airport so that's a definite plus. Otherwise the food is decent but the rooms are a tad too small.

    « Excellent place! »

I have been here many times and I have never been disappointed. Nice and professional staff, nice food, I have never missed a parking spot and the rooftop is awesome!! The location is also ideal for business meetings, training and other group functions. I will always come back!!

    « Good, central hotel »

A hotel located close to downtown Nairobi. Helpful, and friendly staff. Good security. Extencive breakfast and a decent restaurant. Pool and bar on the rooftop. Close to restaurants and shops. Good wifi and clean rooms.

« Decent Hotel in City Centre »

Stayed at this hotel on first night in Kenya and again on return from safari. Both rooms were decent although room on 2nd floor was a superior room, had better wifi and was quieter. Room on 4th floor had poorer wifi and had a mosque right outside bedroom window which was extremely noisy. The only meals I had in hotel was breakfast which was acceptable. Hotel has a rooftop swimming pool and bar which is a lovely spot. Pool small but heated to nice temperature. Location right in the city centre allied to a very reasonable price for B&B makes tis a good place to stay if visiting Nairobi

    « Exceptionally friendly staff »

We have spent 3 nights here, one at the start of our time in kenya and two at the end. The food was good, the beds comfy but most of all the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and just to add that extra hospitality the Manager would check in with every guest at mealtimes. We would highly recommend a stay here!

« Great Value for the Price! »

Very nice place, staff is extremely nice and helpful....they catered to all of our need and made the experience perfect. The location is fine, most importantly it´s quiet, and rooms are good. Restaurants and breakfast were great as well.

« Beautiful stay at a beautiful hotel »

I stayed for only two nights at this hotel, and I wish my stay had been longer. It's a beautiful place and the staff are really friendly and helpful. I ate breakfast in the restaurant and dinner on the roof and both meals were great. I particularly liked that the morning I checked out I was given a takeaway breakfast as I was leaving for the airport very early. It was a nice touch. The roof is a lovely and very pretty place to hang out. There is a view of the city and there is also a small but heated swimming pool and a nice cocktail bar. My room was very comfortable and the bed was soft and clean. I'll stay again if I ever go back to Nairobi, which I hope to do someday as it's a fantastic and vibrant and crazy city which I really fell in love with.

    5
« Short but sweet break »

We stayed for one night but the service was spot on!! Breakfast was great and the hotel was clean and tidy. Didn't get a chance to get in the rooftop pool but hopefully next time. Keep up the good work!!

    « Awesome Hotel »

The conferencing facilities at the hotel is great. Right from reception, facility and catering. The conference that we had on 1st December 2017 was a success thanks to the hotel and the efforts of George Muia from Sales Executive, Dennis Gitama from Banquette sales and Eric Omollo from Banquette. There efforts to making the event a success are highly appreciated. Thank you.

« Good hotel excellent location »

We booked this hotel as a stop over for our safari adventure to Naboisho Conservancy. We stayed here on our first night and then again on our return. The hotel was very accommodating and we were able to leave our luggage here for when we return from the Safari. The hotel was perfectly fit for purpose for our trip. Nice rooms, 24 hour restaurant which was great as we arrived really late and were able to get a nice hot meal. The staff here are absolutely lovely, from the security guards, porters and reception desk staff - all were very friendly, professional and helpful. The only disappointing thing for us was on our last day we were having a very early check out at 5.30am and we asked for an early breakfast at 5.20am which they were happy to accommodate. But on the actual morning it appeared they had actually forgotten and started making it for us in a rush. We ended up having to take the breakfast with us as we were running late. Still this wasn't a big deal. Great location of hotel, walking distance to many restaurants and a great pick up point for Wilson Airport for the Safari. Would recommend.

Nice one. Had good experience and within budget. Pleasant service by staff. Being an Indian food is good but needs an improvement in terms of taste by adding flavor / spices. Ultimately fine one and well maintained. Free Wi-Fi available.

    « Too Noisy for a Good Night's Rest »

I do want to say that the staff was probably the friendliest hotel staff I have encountered in a while; very friendly & helpful. My room looked nice on entry, but as I continued to look closer, the less and less cleanly the room appeared to be. The countertops/tops of furniture were not very clean at all. My biggest complaint, however, is the overall noise level. I am typically a VERY heavy sleeper; I have literally slept thru large earthquakes. After traveling for just over 24 hours, I was exhausted when I arrived at the hotel, and expected to be able to get a good night's rest. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I was in room 119, which was located right by the staff quarters/elevator & back of house area. I was constantly woken up throughout the night from the elevator sounds, doors slamming and LOUD talking. Had I been staying any longer than one night, I would have requested to have my room moved, as I simply could not sleep. The breakfast was quite good with a lot to select from.

« Excellent hotel in the city of Nairobi, Kenya »

I highly appreciate and recommend this hotel. It is very safe, clean, and appropriate for any kind of business transaction you may have in Nairobi, Kenya. All the services are excellent. All the employees are very professionals, and polite. All around the hotel is clean, and no worms, snakes other dirty things you can notice there. I wish I could have have enough money and time, to stay and relax there. I highly enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

« Beautiful hotel with 5 star service »

We stayed overnight before our trek to Masai Mara and wished that we had longer to stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome from the moment that we arrived, even giving us a complimentary upgrade to a suite. The pool area was great and they even had a very comfortable lounge on the main floor. While not overly expensive this hotel had a luxury feel.

    5
    « Nice hotel »

This is a nice hotel with clean rooms and good facilities, security is good and internal surroundings are nice, all staff are extremely friendly and are a credit to the hotel and their country. The location is subjective depending on what you want to do in Nairobi,I stayed for 2 nights prior to departing for a Safari and returned for a third night prior to departure for Mombasa, the food is ok but nothing special, overall I would recommend this hotel.

« This place is nice, but they will try to rip you off. »

First the Pros: The staff are continually vigilant, and are happy to help you. The staff are extremely patient with you, English being their second language (not to be mistaken with broken english, they speak English well), I really admire the patience most of the staff show. The place has consistent hot water available. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The Wi-Fi is decent. The highlight here, I have to say is the free breakfast, i'm a budget backpacker and this is incredible, the assortment of buffet is something i am extremely happy with and I love to eat. the Cons. If you don't do your homework before hand they will try to charge you 18,900 KSH which equals to about 190 USD. When the True price is around $60 USD. The fact that they do that right, really makes you anxious about your whole stay here. The second con is the price for Laundry. I mean are they glittering your clothes with gold? For around 10 pieces laundry, you are looking at about 5,800 KSH which equates to about $60USD the amount of the stay in your own private room. If money is no issue to you and you like to splash, come here it's a great place, and you tipping them really makes their day. However, if you like to save some money, do yourself a favor, do research and figure out how much the real prices are, and do your laundry elsewhere. Neutral: The last bit which i found extremely sketchy is, I had no issue, paying for anything until the last moment, where they for some reason needed my full card number so "there payment will be posted". Is swiping your card not enough? This could be a thing most hotels do, i'm not sure, i just thought it was extremely odd. Sometimes the power shuts off, but never for longer than a couple of minutes. But that is kind of to be expected. Happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails are not available in the pool area.

    « Can do Better »

The Hotel is located on Moi Avenue in the down town Nairobi. The hotel has good rooms, excellent WiFi, Hot showers and good gym amenities plus Sauna. The down side is that the hotel policies are restrictive and not flexible to customers, Customer is not king here. Money is king! Ask how much before you can access or use anything including getting an extra vegetable or fruit like Ovacado. Then please don't book under their package arrangements because the hotel will try to maximize on your booking and are not flexible to other alternatives like shared meals My stay was not as good as I expected though the rooms were big and very good and with a terrific laundry team.

« Best Hotel to be »

Staff and owner of the hotel care too much about their guests and they give good attentions. I will go to the same hotel soon because I like it very much. It is located in downtown Nairobi, so shopping is not a big deal.

« Clean Hotel And Friendly Staff »

I stayed in this hotel for two weeks, Hotel is outskirt of town centre. Staff very friendly and good service. Bus service not good here you have get taxi or uber where ever you want to go. « comfortable hotel to stay in Nairobi »

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and I would go back there again... provided I stay in the exact same room I've stayed in, my last 2 visits. The staff are all very friendly and they aim to please. The facilities are also decent and the location is just right.

« Fantastic employees, superb breakfast »

There are so many hands available that no problem is allowed to happen ! Lovely atmosphere and in these troubled times you cannot help but feel safe and well looked after. It is a pleasure to stay in a place where the employees obviously enjoy their job no matter how menial. Only sad that the street view is so depressing from studio 318 and that the swimmingpool was out of order. If I ever return to Nairobi you won't get around me !

« Experience at Plus Meridian »

Four star trearment and facilities for a 2 star fee. The location is right within the city centre Very clean, very friendly, and fast response. New fittiings through and through. Good fares for taxi to and from the Airport. Beautiful swimming pool. Not olymic size but enough and nice view beside of the entire city. Will definitely stay there again when in Nairobi

    « A great experience as a solo traveller »

A very good hotel in a central location in Nairobi. It is fairly easy to get most of the attractions that Nairobi has to offer. The hotel staff have been amazing and helpful with any questions I asked as well as things to be aware of in Nairobi such as places where i can get overcharged as a tourist. John at the safari booking desk was extremely helpful with organising my safari adventure at the Masai Mara (one of the best experiences of my life). He also ensured that i was completely satisfied with my safari trip after i experienced a small problem. As a solo traveller the room was as expected and contained everything i needed. It would be nice if the windows could open but understandably it has kept me virtually protected from mosquito bites (except when i went to the Mara). The breakfast is decent, id suggest that the hotel provide larger drinking glasses and add more variety to the menu. The pool area is a nice place to chill out and the menu at the 7th floor restaurant is affordable and good value. I'd also like to give Joy Poolbar a special thanks for her demeanor and knowledge of the menu. All in all a 5/5 experience i highly recommend this hotel and will come back here on my next trip to nairobi. A special thank you to the hotel staff members: Prudence, Tonny, Janita and the deputy manager.

Good hotel with friendly welcoming staff. Room was a nice size, clean, with a seating area, very nice bathroom. Good breakfast. Was given a complimentary dinner because it was my partner's 60th birthday, very nice surprise. 7th floor has a pool and nice bar area. Outside the hotel is busy, however we were on 4th floor and not disturbed by any noise.

    « Great Stay »

We stayed at the Best Western for 3 nights before heading out on safari. The hotel is located in the CBD so the area is quite busy during the work week but quieter on weekends. We found it conveniently located as we could walk around the area and to nearby restaurants. It's certainly not the most picturesque part of Nairobi but we enjoyed it as a stopover. I think most people look to stay in the inner suburbs of Nairobi. The hotel was walking distance to the Masai Market (Weekend location). Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was great, tons of selection! There is a nice rooftop bar area, unfortunately 'happy hour' was only for the main level, inside bar! Overall a great stay for our purposes.

    « Very good hotel »

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel for 5 nights recently and the experience was very positive. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are great and clean. Breakfast was good. No issues at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly stay there again when I return to Nairobi!

    « Excellent Service! »

We stayed at the Best Western at the beginning of our safari for one night and also at the end of our adventure for a few hours before our flight. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with our room and the food in the restaurant was also very good. Overall we had a couple of great stays!

    « Hotel Centrally Located »

Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2017, and was very pleased with the staff and accommodation. The breakfast had good items on the menu and so with the Dinner menu. Very accommodating staff in assisting me with a room at an early hour of arrival. Will stay again at this place.

« Disappointed with the stay »

Small issues can become irritants and spoil the image very fast, so it was with this hotel. We were booked to stay here twice once at the start of our safari for a night halt and second at the end for a second night halt. The first we missed because of flight cancellation and reached Nairobi at 5 in the morning instead of 8 pm the previous night. The hotel declared us as no show and did not offer rooms to freshen up or breakfast though they charged us for the night. Second time at the end of the Safari coming in from Masai Mara late afternoon it took a long time to get our rooms, with no explanation for the delay. While waiting asked for a glass of water in place of the welcome drink the Manager on duty informed me that water we need to buy the drink is complimentary !!!!! Next morning we had an early check out when their breakfast was not open nor were they ready to open it early for us. After much talk they gave a packed breakfast which was not becoming of a four star rated hotel. The rooms are comfortable, toilets clean, staff courteous but the management policies not becoming of a good property. The intent for customer satisfaction is lacking. Have still rated the stay as average and not poor or terrible as our experiences will not be that of most travellers, however it is in the correct handling at such times which makes the cutting difference.

    4
« overall good and comfortable stay, corteous staff. »

« An enjoyable stay in Nairobi »

The meals were great, the staff were all helpful, the attention to detail was great and the meals were quite enjoyable. We were particularly appreciative of the interaction with the management and the chef who wandered through to ensure we were all doing well. Room was well appointed and comfortable.

    « Well-priced and good »

Room is on the small side but has everything you need, including WiFi, AC and lots of outlets. The pool area is lovely and the restaurant has good food at decent prices. The staff is very nice. I liked exploring the town outside the hotel as it's a very lively place. A good choice for this price range.

« Good stay, with great breakfast »

Very helpful & courteous staff, hotel is very clean and tidy. Breakfast had a lot of variety. It was a bargain. You can easily move around with Uber. Not far from Sarit center. Hotel location is a bit dingy.

    « A destination Like no other..... »

The room was spacious safe well lit, very clean, sound proof, warm, and private. The heated swimming pool was awesome and the gym ecstatic. I recommend Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel for anyone in need of a home away from home.

    « Great Service! Clean! »

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Meridian! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, and they had a great dinner menu with lots of choices. Most of all, we enjoyed the service of the staff here. Amaris, Phoebe, Tonny, Mary Anne, and Julius were among the many that we had the privilege of meeting during our stay. Thank you again!!!

    3
« The Good, the Bad and the Ugly »

While the hotel is safe the locale is not, I'd recommend guests 'don't go out after dark' The open plan restaurant is located in the foyer of the Hotel adjacent to reception, that hardly makes for a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience Rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and good value ( I paid @$90 a night ) other facilities were more than adequate. Staff are friendly and helpful, I could not fault the service or attitude of any of the Hotel's Team. In sum. Despite great staff and comfortable rooms the physical location and all to public restaurant let down an otherwise perfectly fine Hotel.

    5
    « A missed opportunity »

We were looking forward to our one night after our 12 day Madagascan adventure Alas no as Kenyan Airways cancelled our flight for operational reasons we were told - I suspect this meant there were not enough passengers and those who were booked could wait until 3am for the next flight which arrived 730am Kenyan Airways did put us up in the orchard hotel near Antananarivo Airport - owned by Chinese - they appear to represent some of the few wealthy in the country as shown by their cars. Maybe next time we can enjoy your hotel

    3
    « Good for a nights rest »

This hotel is secure with security checks on the car and passenger. For what I paid, I thought it was good value. Had a good night sleep. The surrounding area is dodgy though and I won't recommend going out at night. You will get pestered by beggars. My toilet had some dirt in the sink but it was no big issue. Exchange rate was really poor at 1usd to 95 shillings.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was nothing that you could ask them that they were not happy to help. We stayed at the hotel multiple nights before and after a safari, and the hotel was happy to store our extra luggage for us to avoid taking it on a safari. They even managed to get a box for us when we needed extra space for packing. The breakfast had a wide range of food and could probably cater to most everyone's taste. The only issue I had was with the wifi. It was very weak and a slow connection. If I was to ever visit Nairobi again, I would stay here again.

    « BEST STAFF - BEST HOTEL »

We had the chance to visit Kenya for the KLM Crusade last 31.08.17 - 6.9.17. It was a blessed trip due to the time we spent with family and friends plus a very welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Our visit wouldn't be so remarkable without us choosing & staying in Best Western. We are delighted and so thankful for the excellent service they had given to me and the team, from the managers down the line. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Food is great! Best ever!!! God bless you all, your labor won't be in vain. Keep smiling!!!

I selected this Best Western over the Nairobi Hilton and am glad I did so. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's located close to museums, shopping and places to eat. This hotel is a great value.

    « Great all round »

I booked 2 rooms at short notice. Lovely staff, comfortable and convenient for those who prefer central business district given Nairobi traffic. It much improved since our last stay in 2014. It was rather unfortunate my daughter's white teddy bear could not be found even though we definitely left it in one of the rooms.

    « Lovely stay »

Spent three nights in total at the Best Western Meridian Hotel, a day before Nairobi Safari and as a stopover hotel on my return from Mombasa beach holiday. Good location, pleasant welcome at the reception, speedy check in, room was very good and clean, giving it four stars as beddings was scratchy and uncomfortable, bore it for the first two nights after which I asked for the sheets to be changed. The other negative was the Wifi which was quite poor in the room. The breakfast was very good and ready for early start for the safari and on checking out early for the airport, we asked for a pack up breakfast which was provided. Overall a pleasant stay and would definitely return on my next visit to Nairobi. Management please do something about the sheets.

Stayed here only one night, found this hotel on line and it was the best move. The bedroom very clean and everything I needed, the bed was just the best, the most comfortable next to my own at home. The staff excellent, and the maintenance noise above my room stopped as soon as I advised them. Nothing was too small for them to attend to, even sending some one else out for medicines I needed. The breakfast smorgasbord excellent, and the chef doing the eggs on the spot amazing with all the orders being told to him all at once it seemed... though the smorgasbord in the evening was certainly not as good, so would recommend that perhaps eat out or try from the al la carte, you get the choice. I was given late checkout without asking as my flight was later that day which was so very much appreciated. The transfer from the hotel by taxi was easily organised.. when I return will most certainly book again, Then I may have time to try out the pool and the fitness centre. I think I may have found an absolute treasure for the price which was such an amazing surprise nowadays... thankful.

    « Wouldn't go back »

Had a generally unpleasant experience at this hotel. They called my room at 5:45 am for a wake up call I didn't order. I understand mistakes happen, but I would have appreciated if the man on the phone had apologized. I then received another phone call at 7:15 (or maybe 7:30) asking when I was checking out. Considering it was the same man on the phone, I felt it was too early to be receiving phone calls to my room. When I told the front desk they did nothing about the mistake or even apologize. Later, only when the manager overheard, did he offer an apology. Full transparency- he offered me a water bottle or a fruit bowl but I was on my way to the airport. I also ordered a ride to the airport at 6:00 but the car didn't show up until 6:20. Lastly, the air conditioner in the room did not work and it was too warm and sticky in the room.

The hotel location was good. The worse part was air condition it was not at all as per the hotel. We shifted 3 rooms bit none had an air condition were we could sleep properly. The staff and technicians came and told us that the problem is over but it was never. The management must look in this so that the guest can recommend others

    « Awesome Hotel »

Its very conveniently located at the Central Business District in Nairobi city near Jamia Mall. Its a very luxury hotel with a roof top pool cum bar. Very helpful staff and comfortable room. Lavish breakfast. However room delivery charges are little expensive. One rice and dal combo is aprx 10usd. One con: food preparation takes at least 20-25 mins.

« Great Location, Friendly Staff, Great Price »

I used Nairobi as a stopping point on my way back to the states and spent 4 nights at the Best Western. The location of the hotel is perfect for getting to interesting spots in the city (i.e. National Museum, Archives). There is a gym and a rooftop pool, which were very nice to have. What really made this stay special was the staff. Though I was traveling alone, the staff were so incredibly friendly that I could go down to the lobby and have a conversation with any of them if I was bored and didn't feel like leaving the hotel. One staff member who stood out was Moses Limo. Always helpful and friendly, he was my main companion during this stay. Of course, he was a true professional and never neglected the needs of other customers while on duty. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

    « Excellent stay! »

The staff is absolutely outstanding! Rooms are clean. The food is good as well. Location to downtown is a huge plus. The rooftop bar/restaurant has a good view of the Nairobi skyline. Definitely staying here on my next visits. Slight issue with WiFi.

    « Superb customer service! »

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel in Nairobi at both the start and the end of our safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania. The hotel staff is wonderful -- attentive and helpful -- and the rooms and services are excellent. We were greeted both times with a glass of fresh juice -- very welcome after a 40-hour plane trip from California and, again, after a long drive from Arusha. Also very welcome after our late arrivals was the hotel's excellent restaurant, which featured both East African and Indian food. Breakfasts in the morning were also outstanding: made-to-order omelets, fresh-cooked bacon, pancakes, plus a selection of sweet potatoes and regular potatoes, Indian vegetables and stews, fresh pineapple and papaya, juices, coffee and tea, and more. And the wi-fi was good and the rooms spotless and comfortable. This hotel is well located for walking into the heart of the city, just off the main street of Moi Avenue and near some excellent restaurants and places for a little shopping. We were too tired on both our stays to even attempt to venture out at night, so we can't speak to any safety issues in Nairobi after dark, but we had a wonderful time walking about during the day and imbibing the bustle of this busy East African city. We highly recommend this hotel to any traveler for its excellent accommodations and, particularly, for its warm and capable staff. We would definitely stay here again.

« Good but could be great! »

Nice hotel in West side of CBD. Room fine, clean but bedside light only worked with hall light on, couldn't put bathroom light on without main light on so not ideal! Staff friendly helpful but bill could take a long time to arrive and forgot packed breakfast twice for early departures on safari. Close to Nairobi National Park and Karen attractions. Pool bar nice but fountains didn't work. Quite enjoyed curry dishes on menu and buffet!

« Kenya airways preffered hotel »

Kenya Airways give us this hotel for two nights stays. check in was done in half an hour as many passengers are there. we just handed over key and room no, no body there to assist with luggage, So instead of finding & requesting a person, we just carry all our bags. The room was clean and silent. it has a big bedroom with TV & dressing table, small living room with TV, one side study table and another side basic kitchen. we ( my wife and 9-year-old son ) like the room. It also has free wifi, so my son was instantly busy on his tab. then it's lunch time and it was okay, not delicious you can say. few cold salad, bread, soup, rice, Indian roti, two Indian Currys & two non-veg item. in dessert - fresh fruit & pastry. In dinner nearly same menu. well, during our dinner they asked me for any suggestions and I requested that keep food warm - and immediately it was done. Happy with it. next day in morning requested dental kit & shaving kit from room service & they told us it's chargeable, but I showed them that in room manual that it's free and after discussion with management they provided it free. + to them. breakfast was good, many items were there. another +point it is in town, banks are just in a corner. Nearly same menu in lunch & again in dinner. next day breakfast - they provided - Indian chole & puri - very happy - delicious - one star just for it. So Overall clean & silent big room, quick housekeeping, okay food, quick & friendly restaurant staff. Need to improve food menu, reception service ( welcome - check-in & check out was just like govt. offices ). make reception warm - friendly & active - they forgot wakeup call !!

    « Perfect city hotel »

The Meridian in n a good location at the edge of Nairobi inner city. Good access to roads leading out of Nairobi in the direction of Thika and in the direction of Naivasha. Walking distance to the inner city via Moi Avenue. Rooms are well furnished, reception is fully staffed with very capable, efficient and friendly staff. The restaurant has an extensive menu and the prices are reasonable as the drinks prices I recommend this hotel

« Stop over just one day »

Due to over booking of flight from Nairobi to Paris, we had to stay one night and day in Nairobi before proceeding to Amsterdam and Oslo next day. We were transported to Meridien late at night and was met by a service minded staff and served a good dinner. The room was nice and smart. Next day the hotel helped us with a sightseeing and served us a good lunch and dinner before we proceeded. The hotel has a swimming pool on the roof with bar a good view of Nairobi. The hotel lies in a safe area of the town and close to shopping areas. In addition to service minded staff, the manager of the restaurant was very friendly and assured that we had a good time.

« Absolutely great value for money »

I really liked the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel. It´s located very centrally. The hotel is clean and the room is good sized with good bet, flat tv and spacious bathroom. The food is very good, hotel restaurant has a good selection of different cousines from Indian, to Chines, to Western and African too. Considering the price per night this hotel is a bargain. Wifi worked properly and was free of charge. The hotel is also relatively quiet. Front desk service was good. The hotel also was okay with late checkout, although got one call and someone came to knock on the door asking what time are we checking out. Without this communication breakdown would have actually rated the hotel with five stars.

    « Very beautiful place »

I had a time of my life at this hotel. They have a very beautiful pool bar rooftop, amazing staff especially Reginald who made my stay comfortable. He is well groomed and his recommendations were superb. I will definitely be back to this hotel anytime I am visiting Nairobi.

« Great staff, close to city centre »

The hotel is located close to the city centre although most of our activities were not done in that area. Staff are the biggest asset of this place - they are genuinely helpful, friendly and good at their jobs. Rooms are clean and have good amenities although noise from the corridors is heard inside the room. The rooftop bar, recently opened, has a small heated pool and very nice seating areas. However, the service at the bar is very slow. We ordered cocktails three nights in a row and it took 35-40 mins to get it. The staff, though, are super nice. The food is okay - breakfast is quite good with a variety of choices although the rate of refilling is quite slow. Again - staff are great! There are limited eating options in the areas - a few takeaway places and a couple of supermarkets nearby. For nice restaurants, you'd have to take taxis to Westlands etc. On Tuesdays there is a Masaai market within walking distance of the hotel. We bought several good things here! Overall, it was a good choice for a few days. Thanks to the lovely staff for making our stay nice!

« Economical Option in the Mid of the City Nairobi »

Had an amazing stay here for almost a week. The staff were very polite and helpful. The location is just perfect, as you can go on an evening walk for food and shopping. But just be informed, that night wandering alone is not that safe, advised by the staff itself. I really enjoyed my stay, and the Safari package offered by them was the best experience of my life. Cheers and all the best.

« Wonderful Travel desk at best western Meridian hotel »

Good hotel , stuff were very friendly and helpful , rooms where clean . slipper and shoos cleaner were missing in the rooms . Of course don't forget to visit Mr. John on the travel desk he is the best . he arranged all our transportations during our stay . Safari was the best thing we had done with him .

    4
    « Good, Economical Option »

I picked the wrong best western for a three days stop...trying to return to one slightly out of town, and ended up with this option right in the middle of town. It was actually more convenient, more economical and served the purpose well. The rooms are small. But the service is excellent...everyone was pleasant. Security was fine. Location great. Breakfast with lots of options included and internet was fine. Dinner buffet was absolutely not good...poor taste and quality...sorry guys but work on that. Everything else is OK.

    « Family Outing »

This is an ideal hotel for anyone who wants a home away from home. The hotel is located in CBD Nairobi Kenya with access to so many nearby amenities such as Nairobi Orphanage, Nairobi National Park and all that the city has to offer. It is in a safe and secure location that can be easily accessed but with minimal noise/disturbance. There are variety of rooms to choose from at affordable rates with accessories such as a conducive bar, restaurant, and gym and swimming pool not to forget business centre. With a strong wifi, you will always remain connected to the outside world. When in town it is definately a place to be!

    3
« Good hotel but awful food »

Location is perfect close to CBD. Staff is very helpful and courteous, always smiling. They also upgraded my room upon check-in. Rooms are good and been recently re-done. Clean and nice hotel. Wifi in the room is good (mostly). The only problem is the food. It is very bad, especially the Indian food. Breakfast is just OK, very limited choice and taste wise not close to a decent meal. It's OK to stay here for a couple of nights if you are on a business trip or using Nairobi as your layover to the safari but do not eat at the hotel. I would recommend using any online food delivery service in Nairobi.

« The Best Choice in Nairobi »

This hotel is a treasured find in the heart of Nairobi, CBD. Great value for the price, excellent staff who will go above and beyond to ensure your comfort, attend to your needs immediately. This is a very safe hotel, much cleaner and offer a home away from home. Fantastic breakfast and excellent wifi and best of all, they were inclusive. This is my 8th visit to Nairobi and I regret that I did not find this hotel for my earlier stay. Of all the high class hotels I have stayed in Nairobi, this fares much higher. I found a 'home' in Nairobi for my future visits.

    4
« good value for money »

This hotel is centrally located so if you have meetings close to center of Nairobi, this is a good place to stay. The rooms though small are clean and comfortable. The restaurant doesnt have the best food in the world but but if food is not your priority it serves "ok" food nothing exceptional but there is a lot of choice. might appear to be on the expensive side. But all in all a hotel I would probably return to...

Ever since I came across this hotel, I have never looked anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and treat you with respect at all times, the rooms are always clean and the food is great. Love the serenity of the hotel and food. The rooms are spacious and the ambience of interior is so welcoming. And the professionalism of the lady Leonida the lobby hostess. « Very nice hotel »

After traveling for 15 hours I arrived at the Meridian hotel, I can say that it was so nice to arrive at a place where everybody is nice to you. All staff walk around with a smile on their face and they are always prepared to have a little chat with you. I booked the superior room and it was great. The room is clean, the bed is comfy and the shower is probably one of the best showers I've had in Africa. Breakfast is fine, plenty of choice to serve your needs. Really appreciated the manager accepting my input as I work hospitality myself. I will definitely come back here myself when in Nairobi. Thanks for making sure I was well looked after.

    « City centre hotel »

Close to city centre, the hotel had good rooms, good internet but at times was very noisey. Most rooms open onto open corridors with large atrium space. Noise travels, guest returning noisily to rooms made sleep a challenge. Advised not to go out into the local streets by driver as adjacent to an unsafe area. On the positive side, staff very friendly and efficient, good laundry service. Good breakfast buffet . Evening meals of good quality. Shame about the location and noise...

    « Business Trip »

Stayed at the BW Meridian for a recent business trip to Nairobi. First off i'll deal with suggested improvements: 1: WiFi is basic for business users there is no upgrade option 2: Menu - its very Asian biased which i have no issue with as i love Indian and Chinese food, however my colleague struggled 3: Beds/Mattresses are reasonable but could be better Why the 5 star rating? Simply the hotel staff. From Security, to reception, to bar, to waiting on to the hotel management, they are all amazing. They are all so Friendly, cant do enough for you, great company at the bar relaxing. I mentioned the wifi to the management as the manager was walking around the bar introducing himself, next day i had a member of the it support contact me, had a room upgrade offered, it was really fantastic service. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again just for the staff!

« Very good hotel in central Nairobi »

We stayed few days in Meridian Hotel in May. It was well located, safe and extremely clean. Each staff member was polite and agile(receptionists, maids, waiters, chef and security)-that made us felt really welcome. Rooms were spacious and tidy. Bottled water, coffee were free and available in the room. Hotel also had pool but it was under the construction but one could be driven to another hotel's pool upon request. Hotel is positioned in the city center, taxi station nearby(you can bargain very good price). Good value of money. This hotel gets our recommendation! Ivana & Vojislav

This hotel ticks all the boxes for me, right price, lovely rooms, 24 hour restaurant, friendly staff and a great central location. I've tried a few in Nairobi and now I've found my favourite. This hotel is everything you would expect from a Best Western, thoroughly recommended.

« Great stay for business »

Firstly Nairobi in May, a great time to visit, weather just right and lots of greenery to enjoy. Visited this hotel on business, so being situated in the centre of town was perfect, walking distance to KICC (convention centre). First thing that gets you are the people, very friendly and accommodating. Hotel has all the attributes a business traveller requires; clean - quiet - good sized room - fast internet - acceptable breakfast and a PUB :-) Plus being situated in the centre of town, close to shops / restaurants and other interesting sites. We stayed here the night before going to a safari and we came back when this safari finished. Me and my boyfriend were sick and we were so glad we decided to be in this hotel! the room is spacious and the bed is really confortable. In general everything looks new and clean and that's exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast offers a wide variety. Best of all is the staff, everyone is helpful and talk to you with a smile. We were upgraded the two times and the staff at the restaurant did a very good job assisting us with drinks and even if it's a buffet they bring you the food you want to the table. The location is great as it is in the city center. Overall we were very satisfied with this hotel, we felt confortable, safe and the staff was top notch!

I'v been at Best Western Plus Meridian for business. At the beginning i had problem for my reservation because i booked smoking room in booking.com but hotel dint has smoking room. anyway room was big and clean and sleeping quality was good. location of the hotel was very close to Expo area which i need to go every day but neighboring was not very good and i can say it was in dark and dirty with a lot of poor people who asked me to help and give money every time i come out of the hotel. Breakfast was vey average and honestly i dint like it too much it style was more Indian and also it seems the hotel was full of Indian guest.

The Best Western Plus Meridian was sensational value at less than $100 per night including breakfast. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The service was generally good, but the wifi internet wasn't great. The breakfast was excellent with an extensive range of foods from all over the world. The restaurant staff were outstanding and catered for everyone's needs quietly and efficiently.

We arrived at this hotel from Maasai Mara with my wife Jennifer extremely ill. The hotel organised a hospital and used their own vehicle to get us there. Over the next three days the service was exceptional - the best we have ever encountered in our many years of travelling. Fruit platters, special soup orders, whatever Jennifer needed, the Hotel organised without fuss or expense. The staff from the senior management down to cleaning staff were all concerned for Jennifer and asking after her welfare. This is an exceptional hotel with very lovely caring staff - cannot recommend more highly. The rooms are very well appointed, there is a great breakfast buffet, an excellent restaurant with great range of food options, and nice bar area. The hotel is very classy and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed - but best of all is the amazing caring service.

Great experience. Wonderful conference facility. Excellent service. Shaziya was our Banquet Manager and a real blessing to us. She provided service of high quality and attended to our needs in a professional and swift manner. The restaurant was a real eye opener. Some of the best indian cuisine I have tasted in Nairobi.

    « Nice Business Hotel »

I went to the Best Western Plus Meridian for a quick stopover until my reservation started at a nearby resort. My flight arrived at 2:30AM so I was in need of a nice place to sleep for a few hours; this place was a great choice. The location is in the central Nairobi City, close to the University. The local neighborhood is O.K. but not the best; security is excellent. The rooms excelled in cleanliness and appiontments, although pretty small, the furnishings are new and the style is excellent. The walk in shower, with detachable shower head was really great after a 23 hours in the air. My room was a king, comfy with excellent air conditioning and tv, no complaints. The services is truly excellent, so many employees! The breakfast buffet was pretty good and the dining area is in the lobby, nicely furnished and presented. The front desk staff is pretty good, one young lady was exceptionally helpful, Purity, help us with our reservation and was a great host. The best feature for this property is the price, online is a good deal with Booking.com. Check it out

« Friendly staff and welcoming stay »

I arrived to Nairobi suffering a fairly serious chest congestion. I spent two days resting at the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel and trying to recover. The staff were very helpful in directing me to nearby pharmacies to pick up medications, and the right hospital to finally visit when I needed to consult a doctor. They were always constantly checking in on me and my well-being. Their service was fantastic. I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, with a variety of movie channels to keep me entertained during the long days resting in the room. I would highly recommend a stay here.

« Pretty Good Hotel, Accessible to Where You Need To Go »

My experience at the hotel was pretty good. It was a full service hotel, even though the pool was out of service at the time. The location is definitely in the center of the city so there is close access to everywhere that you want to go (though there is a crazy roundabout behind the hotel that can add a lot of time to your commute during certain times of the day). Though for me personally, I probably want to stay in a different area the next time, maybe near the west lands. The Meridian hotel as it is known to most people in Nairobi, is also known by everyone so it was never a struggle getting home or giving directions. The one thing that I didn't like is Though all the staff was generally pleasant, apparently I didn't look like the general clientele of the hotel (which seems to be older business travelers), and for the first two days staying at the hotel, it seemed as if some of the staff who hadn't seen me before, constantly tried to find new and creative ways to ask me if I was a guest. Now I didn't really bother me but at one point, I did get offended. But again, generally the staff is very nice especially the security staff outside and the restaurant staff. I really loved them. All in all, pretty good stay and I'd definitely recommend it.

Best place to stay. I had a business meetings and I had a nice experience with the stay. One Indian chef accepted my request for an Indian cuisine and the pool side restaurant is good for evening. The staffs are very helpful.

« Good Hotel, Good Service & Very Helpful Staff »

During the Big 5 Construct East Africa exhibition, I stayed in this Hotel. The Service and the accommodation were just great. Really nothing to complain about. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast was great. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.

We stayed here as a layover after safari before our return flight the next day. It was included in the tour, and we were positively surprised. Good clean rooms, everything looked well taken care of and good breakfast. Good value for money

    « Comfortable and Decent Mid-sized Hotel »

I stayed at this hotel for four nights (Oct. 12/13 and Oct. 21/22). The rooms are quite decent, and very clean. Staff was very welcoming (with a glass of juice at check-in) and service was excellent. Food was okay. The Gym and swimming pool are currently closed for renovation. The hotel is located within Nairobi's downtown; within walking distance of numerous interesting places, including fast food chains like Steers located across from Jeevanjee's Gardens. The University of Nairobi's main campus is also located nearby. The surrounding area, starting from the hotel's entrance on Muranga Road didn't seem safe to walk at night though. Two major negatives during my stay at this hotel: a) A taxi driver arranged for me by the hotel over-charged me for a trip to Yaya Centre neighbourhood. The taxi driver charged Kshs2,000 for a distance that would cost me only Kshs300 by Uber on my way back to the hotel (that's almost a 7 times price increase, and extremely unacceptable). I explained this to Emmanuel at the reception and he mentioned that he would look into it since he was the one who made the initial arrangement. My advise to fellow traveler's is to NOT ask this hotel for help regarding local taxi transport options based on my experience. b) My niece was humiliated by the hotel manager at the hotel's reception. She came to visit me at the hotel on Oct. 22nd (around 5:50 PM) and was first asked to leave her ID at the reception (my other guests were not asked to do this). Then the duty manager (John) called my room to inform me that I would be charged an extra Kshs5,000 if my guest stayed past 6:00 PM). This was very frustrating for me, and humiliating to my niece. I decided to go down to the reception to discuss this with John (Duty Manager ...and he insisted that this was hotel policy). Though he said that our discussion had resolved the issue, I am still not convinced that the hotel acted in good faith, or was even following any policy guidelines. I politely asked him to send me a copy of the policy that he referred to so that I could seek an official clarification from Best Western. I haven't received a copy of this policy, or even an apology for which I am still awaiting. Do I see myself going back to this hotel? Not before the above issues are substantially addressed, including an apology to my niece and I for the humiliation.

« Good place to stay in Nairobi if you want to get around central »

This is a good place to stay, though nothing special. It has quite an odd, sort of gaudy decoration to the place. The food is fine and the service is decent. The rooms are a good size. I might add that the showers are fantastic! A good, well priced option if you're looking for a base in Nairobi from which to get around.

    « Never going back »

Really really old building, the rooms are big but things are poorly arranged and bedding and furniture really old. The restaurant area is not so great either. Breakfast was really poor. I felt like I was in a prison and will never stay here again.

« My trip to Kenya »

This hotel has just recently come into the Best Western group. A very nice looking hotel both externally and internally. The staff couldn't have been nicer - they were very professional and friendly right down to the security man lifting the outside gate. The restaurant was good and had a good choice of food. Our room was lovely. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

« One of the best Hotel to stay in Nairobi specially for families »

What I liked about the Hotel is the Management and Staff.I remember meeting Mr. Akbar every morning, very dynamic person, personally managing the Hotel and guests. Not only that, but staff and security was also very courteous, helping me finding the right cab, and no extra charges. All the rooms are Non-smoking , but you can smoke at 1st Floor. I stated at 4th Floor. Restaurants are clean, you can enjoy every type of Food, specially you get Indian breakfast. In night time, you can enjoy at DRINKS Bar. Management is very much open to hear the clients. Couple of words about Nairobi : 1. The moment you land at Nairobi : Two things you must do : convert dollar to Kenyan Shilling and secondly take a local sim ( either Safaricom or Airtel ). 2. Always use UBER Taxi. Download Uber and activate. I will give you one example. I was told normal Taxi will charge around 1500 ~ 2500 Kenyan Shilling from Kenyatta centre to Airtel Mombassa, but when i hired Uber, I just paid 400 Kenyan Shilling. 3. You need to negotiate with Normal Taxi drivers. 4. If you want to take some something back home. you can but kenya tea / coffee from the Local Stores. I think one packet will cost you only 3 $ at airport and in local market, it's more cheap. 5. Avoid going out in evening time by foot.Always prefer to travel in Taxi. For me , it was ok as I been traveling to kenya for the last 15 years. 6. Do not throw garbage on roads ( kenya is very clean city ). 7. Persons do have civil sense. No honking while driving. Give way to pedestrians. 8. Be Polite with Local guys, they will surely help you. 9. Avoid beggars and road side Bike riders. 10. In case you feel unsafe, you can immediately approach a Cab or any security guard near by. 11. In last, do not miss Jungle Safari.

« Most Terrible Hotel in Nairobi »

Look somewhere else if you need a quiet place to stay.. Its in a noisy neigbourhood I have been to Nairobi on about 5 different occasions.. And this is the most terrible and most forgettable trip i have ever taken... Food was cold and they didn't serve anything continental for foreigners.. I paid for all 3 buffets but apart from breakfast i couldn't eat anything else. Every other Meat or chicken was salty. Their Customer Service was Terrible and waitresses were extremely rude when you complain.. No Pool even though i booked because they claimed they had one.. Apparently its been under renovation for God knows how long rooms are compact and small... if you dont like small spaces, this is not a hotel for you. They wouldn't let you receive a visitor in room and they demand an extra $50 if you're to take a visitor inside. They also demand an government ID from your visitor as well.. They tell you terrorism, as if someone will allow a stranger into their room... Though i know its their way of extorting money from you

« Good Value Hotel Within Walking Distance of City Center »

The hotel is located just outside the central zone of Nairobi--about a 15 minute walk with a good map. It is also about a 15 minute walk from the National Museum and Snake Farm. However, we were warned not to walk at night in the neighborhood, a common warning thought out Nairobi. The concierge provides good service in obtaining taxis and arranging tours. Rooms were comfortable and adequate in size for a few nights stay. The dining room provided very good breakfasts, including made to order eggs and omelets. The dinners also looked very good and well priced, though we never ate there because we went to an authentic Nairobi restaurant located about 5 blocks away. If we had had another night in this hotel we would have eaten dinner in the restaurant since it smelled and looked so good.

« Good service, bad facilities. »

I stayed here for two nights in September. The rooms are nice, I booked the first night ahead of time and the second night was a walk in because I had been in Maasailand with no signal. The service and food is really good, but I had booked based on the pool, restaurant and health centre, all of which were being renovated during my stay (this was not advised anywhere at all upon booking). The hotel still charged full price despite a big chunk of facilities being unavailable which was pretty annoying. Everything else was fine, the actual rooms are quite nice, the staff are really lovely and attentive.

    « FASHION SHOW »

I would like to hold a fashion show at Meridian Hotel. I am an international designer looking for a venue that will attract the Kenyan fashion industry. Was there a fallout between Meridian hotel and some key people in the Kenyan Fashion industry and was the recorded incident true? We would like to attract a big audience.

« Average hotel, good price »

The Hotel is very central and close to the CBD which is what I needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The price is relatively cheap compared to other hotels in the area. Overall the experience was positive, the rooms are nice, fairly modern and clean, if not hugely spacious. The food (room service) was generally good, reasonably priced with good portions. The breakfast buffet isn't great, with slow service, not amazing quality and limited options. I asked for some boiled eggs that never turned up, my table wasn't laid properly and there was no one on hand to clean up. Check out took a long time (20 mins) while they had to sort out issues with their systems which was frustrating as I had paid yet the receptionist wouldn't let me leave.

« Rooms Suitable but Very Noisy »

We had one night here in between our Safari and found it average. The room was clean and equipped with everything, but very small! It was also incredibly noisy. The hotel has a lot of echo ! They only have one restaurant choice, but they do have a cute bar with a pool table. There is security upon entering. Staff nice. Wifi intermittent.

    « ICT EXPO 2016 »

I had gone for ICT EXPO and stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Hotel is OK OK. Interior is fine. amenities are fine. but room size is small and we had paid a little more for it. So if we had paid a little less than it would have been the perfect deal. Location is good. food in nice. staff is good specially their finance manager shailesh. Rooms are clean but their is problem with hot water. sometimes you get hot water sometime you not. overall an average hotel with good amenties.

« Good for the price »

We hosted a one-day conference at this venue and our guests were accommodated at the hotel. The service was excellent all around. The dinner was delicious, the breakfasts were adequate but not exceptional; and the rooms were comfortable. The conference venue was well-equipped. The only negatives were that the wifi dropped from time to time and the check-in and check-out process took very long.

« Surprised by the reviews, below everage hotel »

We booked the hotel by reviews and it turned out something else. Not even a 3 star property. Rooms are very small. Over looking some other buildings and lanes. Food was just ok. Wifi didn't work. With help of staff somehow managed to work. Breakfast was horrible. House keeping was good. Cleanliness was there. One lady personally came to check whether all ok or not, but basically below everage hotel.

Nothing much to say, just a good 4 -star service. They are very efficient and there's always a smile on their face. The food is superb and the bedroom is comfortable. It would help if they could retune the heater and increase the temperature limit tho.

Excellent and comfortable facilities for my husband and i in a great clean Executive room. The room was spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and were our used professional and friendly service from early morning breakfasts to taxi services arriving on time at the hotel. A iron and board was provided within minutes of our request in the room. Breakfast was a good spread with excellent fruits and local cuisine. Definitely recommended for business guests and couples should opt for an Executive room :) Internet was intermittent at peak hours but fast connectivity overall.
