The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, BW Premier Collection

We booked a stay at The STRAT in Las Vegas to save some money during a quick trip for a Friday night concert at the MGM. Since I work remotely in IT, we arrived on Thursday night around 10:00 PM so I could work from the hotel on Friday. Right from the start, we ran into logistical challenges. We drive an oversized vehicle, so the $25 per night self-parking wasn't an option, and we opted for the $30 per night valet. Surprisingly, the valet is a third-party service not affiliated with the hotel. You are expected to pay at a window before even going inside, which isn't obvious; thankfully, I wasn't penalized with the late fees mentioned on their signage. Also, the valet slip has no phone number to call ahead for your car, so you have to walk down to the window to request it. Hauling our belongings was another ordeal. Because we arrived after 7:00 PM on a weeknight, the bell service was closed, and the hotel does not allow guests to use luggage carts. I had to carry all of our luggage, along with multiple computer monitors for my work setup, entirely by hand to our room. Working from the room the next day was incredibly frustrating. As an IT professional, a stable internet connection is mandatory, but the hotel's Wi-Fi was poor at best. A speed test showed a dismal 10 Mbps, forcing me to hotspot my phone halfway through the day just to get a usable 90 Mbps connection. To make matters worse, the room's lighting was terrible, which is not conducive to on-camera meetings. The only adequate lighting was near the door and the bathroom sink, and the lamp situated by the desk didn't even work. The room itself was small, and the bathroom layout was incredibly awkward. The door opens inward with absolutely zero clearance between the door and the toilet. Up on the 24th floor, the water pressure was low, and it took about ten minutes for the shower to warm up—and it never actually got hot. While on the 24th floor, we noticed an entry door for the "WET24 Pool & Bar" near the elevator. Strangely, the signage outside the door indicated it isn't open on weekends, and a post-visit web search revealed it is actually a 21+ adults-only pool and bar. Back in the room, the king-sized bed was overwhelmingly soft and uncomfortable. The only reason we didn't notice the discomfort on Friday night was due to sheer exhaustion after the concert. Outside of the room, the resort left a lot to be desired. Walking through the casino floor was unpleasant because of the overwhelming odor of stale cigarette and cigar smoke. As someone who has never smoked, I found it highly disturbing, especially compared to the pleasantly stark difference of the MGM casino where our concert was held. When it came to dining, the welcome materials provided at check-in featured a small, unhelpful map with very little information about the hotel's restaurants. We looked into the hotel cafe's breakfast buffet but found it outrageously expensive. Instead, we walked to a cafe right across the street where the two of us ate for less than the cost of a single buffet at The STRAT. We also discovered a McDonald's on the property, but it was incredibly difficult to locate. It isn't listed on the hotel's website as a dining option, and my wife only learned of it through an AI search. It is hidden away on an almost vacant retail floor above the casino, separate from the other second floor where the theater is located. The only way we actually found it was by spotting a guest carrying McDonald's bags and asking them for directions. Our departure was just as frustrating as our arrival. We went down to find the bell office vacant, and when a staff member finally appeared, I asked to borrow a cart. I was told they don't loan them out and that we would have to wait indefinitely for an available bellman. We ultimately struggled to carry all our luggage out of the hotel ourselves. Given all these challenges, we would not choose to stay at The STRAT again.

So!! We stay at the Strat every time we have gone to Las Vegas! We love it there yes it's further from the strip but oh well! We love the rooms we have actually never had an issue with anything the times we have stayed there! So we just got married this past weekend and of course we had to stay there so I told all my family and friends to stay there. We probably had about 15 rooms booked there , and I know that's a lot of money they are getting! We booked the biggest suite so us girls could get our make up and hair done! So we checked in mind you we tried to do a room block two months in advance they said do it when you check in we tried and couldn't get it so that was the first thing that went bad! So we went into our room and it SMELLED!!!!! Like musty!!!!! Nasty!!! All the lamps had different colored lights and the sinks didn't drain! The chairs looked like they were going to fall apart if you sat on them and the table had been broken if you touched that spot you would cut yourself!!! At first I was like whatever but then my husband said go talk to someone because we paid a lot for this room we were staying 6 days! So we went to talk to someone and the guy was really nice giving us 2 different options and then said I have a third option too when this lady pulled him aside and said don't give them the third option only 2! Her name was shy and she is a supervisor which she shouldn't be! So we moved to a different room when we walked In the new room it was half the size of our other suite mind you I'm still paying for the big suite! So I called down stairs and the supervisor yelled at us on the phone and said I don't have time for this I'm going to lunch ! So I went downstairs and said didn't you say we were going to the 17th floor why are we at the 14th and the other supervisor said oh she thought you wouldn't like the wallpaper ! Now why the hell would I care about some damn wall paper! So they finally moved us to the 17th floor and the wall paper was the damn same in every room I was just so annoyed wasted my whole day and moved all my stuff from 3 rooms! We had so much stuff! And all I got was a resort Fee waived! It was just horrible and to be my wedding weekend when I'm bringing in so many customers is crazy! Honestly we are going to have to find a new hotel cause it won't be this one any more

Check in, what an unhelpful check in person we had, she was horrible. After a 10 hour flight too. We should of got a room upgrade upon arrival should there be any available but she wasn't interested and just kept saying we can pay for one, and kept saying the room we had is very outdated, we normally upgrade but when it came with that note on when we were booking, we thought we would leave it to chance, obviously there were upgrades but she wanted to make a sale - awful when you should have it complimentary as per your booking, after such a long day, repeating myself I just gave up. The room, it was cleanish, adequate, however, after several days our room was not cleaned, so we went down and spoke to reception, same unhelpful woman, who said we need to ask for it to be done, new one on us as we had stayed her many times and this had never been the case, she comes the next day, I wouldn't even call it cleaning to be fair, put new sheets on that were full of holes and didn't nothing else, dreadful, came the next day without us requesting so hmmm…….still didn't do much so stuck the dnd on for the rest of the duration One day, someone had managed to get up to the floor, she was obviously ‘visiting' someone as she said to us it didn't work out and asked for help on how to get back down to the casino floor, as we were walking back to our room, one of the linen guys was choking, as we got nearer to him, we started choking, there was some kind of substance on the floor, we went in our room and when we came back out there were several staff there, no one even asked if we were ok. Smelt of weed a few nights that seeped into our room, could hear the person next doors snoring and tv blasting The bars, one very dreadful bar tender who was quite rude to us, the others were superb. Do give a shout out to the guys and food in PTS though 👌 Could not get the internet working in the room, went down again, still didn't work so didn't bother again Check out, you get told to use express check out but I was adamant on talking to someone about our stay, she was like express check out, I said I want to speak to someone about the issues, shown her the photos of the sheets, told her about the internet, the room not being cleaned, she just knocked of one nights resort fee, to be honest, she was nice and helpful but the whole experience is still a disgrace I don't really have much more to say about this hotel, we near enough stay every year but we won't be doing again, I doubt very much we will even step foot inside it, horrible experience, diabolical reception woman and holey linen

We chose to stay at The Strat because of the location being away from the central strip and close to the arts district. The public transport links are fair for this hotel, served close by for the RTC Deuce, Downtown Loop and rideshare. On arrival and during the our stay the hotel was busy with a good atmosphere. We had booked a updated room, and were given the north tower on the 16th floor. Although by close to the lifts, we could not hear them once inside. The room was clean, but a little tired in some areas already, the carpet, some areas of wall paper and the aircon did not seem to have been updated with the rest of the room. The aircon unit was extremely noisy, but we had no choice but to use this with temperatures over 40c. The halls on the floor were generally quiet, some noise could be heard if others were being loud. We were woken on the last night by noisy neighbours very much enjoying their stay! All staff we interacted with were polite and helpful, we had a locked safe on arrival and maintenance arrived within an hour to resolve this. Strat Cafe was basic but provided a buffet style breakfast if you needed it. The late night deals at the bar were great although the staff a little unresponsive. A McDonalds is on site. The social pool was closed for a private event, but the Wet24 pool was enough for us, providing somewhere to chill and cool down. The casino had varied slots, we did not bet at the tables. Guests can visit the tower at a reduced price, it is worth the view! The on site gym, was very tired and too hot to work out in. We tried and had to give up quick as it was too uncomfortable. Overall, a nice stay, but we would consider looking hotels if we are to return.

Worst hotel stay of my life. We switched rooms 3 times within the first 24 hours of getting there. They switched us out of our first room after we found some kind of disgusting lube on the lamp and all over the phone, our second room (an upgrade) seemed better until we went to use the safe the next morning and found a used m*th pipe in it, our 3rd room had TOENAILS all over the floor, and our 4th room (upgraded to a mini suite) didn't have a working air conditioner. They had to send a maintenance guy to come install a new one. The fourth room was not very clean either but I was done dealing with the moving. We lost half a day of our vacation packing and unpacking in 4 different rooms. They gave us a $50 food voucher. It wasn't until our key stopped working for the 3rd time in our 4th room that I asked for some sort of compensation ($50 in gross food just isn't worth the half day of vacation we lost) and she offered to wave a couple days of resort fees (so $100?) I still haven't gotten that money back so who knows if she was telling the truth…. all the staff were very nice and apologetic so that's good. I've included photos below. Every room was disgusting, the hallways disgusting, even the elevators we gross. DO NOT STAY HERE.

A positive experience, contrary to what some have posted.

I have stayed at this location 5 times in the last few years (most recent 8/24 to 8/31/26) so clearly my rating is based on multiple experiences. I stay central tower in an elevate room. I am male, older than 65 for some background. Room: I think they are more than adequate. Clean, nice desk area, large bath, king sized bed, well lit and more than adequate storage for clothing, mini fridge and in room safe. Casino: Good variety of slots for the slot player. Only crapless craps unless playing electronic. Plenty of blackjack tables, however, the number of tables open is clearly dependent on expected crowd size. Dealers are friendly and professional and very helpful for a beginner player. In House Shows: Saw all 3 this trip, Ikons of Rock, Rouge and LA Comedy. Thoroughly enjoyed all. And for those who may think Rouge is a bit too risque for their taste please give this a chance. The show is outstanding and the burlesque part is really secondary to the choreography and performances. I was ready to go see it a second time this trip but will go again next time for sure. Food: Ate exclusively at Strat Cafe for breakfast and PT Wings for lunch/dinner. Never disappointed. And try the steak and potatoes at PT's. It is outstanding and you will not find a steak like that anywhere on the strip for that price. Ask for Veronica. She's the best. People: One reason I keep coming back to this place is the people. Everyone is really nice and welcoming. I would be remiss if I did not mention Alex in the Cafe. What a sweetheart of a woman aside from her professional work ethic. Its like I've known her for ages. And on the casino floor Andrea. I'm a not so "secret" admirer. She is that once in a lifetime person that can make the entire trip pure magic. Kind, funny, hard working (beautiful too, just saying). Tell her Al Capone says "hi" and he misses her already. If for no other reason I would come back to the Strat just to see them. The only downer: Billing this time was a nightmare. Multiple corrections to what I was being charged that required 3 interactions with hotel personnel. I stay at hotels in a lot of different states and I always know what I'm going to pay (including taxes and fees) before I get there. Here is like a big darn mystery. And add to that the resort fees (which are outrageous) its no wonder that Vegas is having trouble drawing traffic. If there is an area that needs improvement billing is it. I gave the place a 5 because I think it deserves it. Is it 5 star hotel, no. But it has everything you need to have a comfortable and enjoyable time. There are people who question the north end of the strip location but I have never encountered any trouble day or night. Personally I prefer being away from the mayhem that is more common central strip. Strat gets something of a bad rap and I have to disagree.

I reserved my room and requested and upgrade was told over the phone they could upgrade when I got there it was a different story. I and my sister have a heart condition and they had no belle service as well as we couldn't even get a bell cart ourselves to do it! Then we get in the room and had a baby in tow and the fridge was broke no microwaves. The first night we were woke up by screaming and a hooker and guy fighting. The kids pool was closed and the parking was 25 a day. Next, apparently they put us in a smoking tower and it was such a harsh marijuana smell. Over all it was such a nasty hotel to stay in I Don't recommend it at all! Period upon calling front desk everyone was rude. Only, staff that was courteous was valet and housekeeping. Please Don't even bother giving them your business so not worth it. Starbucks was 5 dollars higher then anywhere else. Just not worth it!

Ridiculous parking Fees. $23 for 20 minutes! I will NEVER go there again! And they wonder why no one goes there!

The Hotel is at the northern end of the strip in Las Vegas. I've been coming here for decades I can't explain why I keep returning here as it appears to be going downhill more and more. The room is clean and tidy as is the bathroom although it had a minor plumbing issue and the bed was comfortable. The room had a view of the strip. It had a fridge and a coffee maker, no microwave I was told that they were not in any of the rooms due to a perceived fire threat. There are only two food takeaways places in the building. Previous shopping Centre & Arcade has been removed some time ago and blocked off. One shop remains but was closed through the period I was there. The hotel advertises and boasts about cheap accommodation, but when all surcharges and other hidden costs are added it becomes very expensive. Things that were complimentary in the past for guests are now charged for such as car parking (not cheap) entry to the tower, reasonable Wi-Fi. full price charged for shows. The swimming pool is closed for most of the week, open only on Fri Sat, Sun, there was another pool on the 24th floor however, suitable only for adults. Access to elevators within the complex requires different access cards to each. The variety shows are somewhat dated and needs to be updated.

We chose this hotel because we liked it three years ago on a group trip. We really liked the adults only pool (Wet 24) last time. Wet 24 is almost totally closed now. Even on weekends, it's only open for a few hours. The regular pool wasn't crowded but there are just too many kids there. Vegas needs adult spaces. The rest of the place was ok. We will be seeking a hotel with dedicated adult only space on our next trip.

Paud to visit the viewing deck of the Stratosphere (or Strat as it is now called). Easy to get to via heading north on the ‘Deuce'. Cost us about $80 total for 4 to go up, then realised that they do much cheaper deals later in the afternoon!. Well worth going up just for the views and to see people do the bungee jumping. There is also a higher outdoor deck but when we went up one of the rides was not working. Bar is quite expensive and it would make it more interesting if there was some sort of display sharing the history of the stratosphere- the only bit of information I saw was one wall with smaller towers as a comparison. Would be good to find out more about how it was built, when etc

This is one of worst hotels. It took a half hour to check in and the first room they gave us smelled really bad. We were able to switch rooms but even the second one was located in a hallway that smelled like vomit. The room was okay, nothing special. The only good thing about the stay was that the bed was comfortable.

The view is to die for if a little disorienting eating dinner whilst traveling backwards at the same height as light aircraft ,those brave or foolhardy enough have the opportunity to launch themselves off the top either via a bungee or in a chair NO THANK YOU

The best views of Las Vegas at night are on the top of the Strat.

Great hotel had issue but they changed us to different room after first had water leak.

Desk personnel are extremely rude and unhelpful. Arrived early in the morning. Had a tour booked leaving from the hotel. The front desk wouldn't allow us to drop our bags. They said “the bell hop stand is union and they didn't want to deal with the paperwork.” Left us in a big issue with bags and a pending tour. We've traveled all over the world and thats never been an issue. The lazy person at the desk just didn't want to deal with us. He was rude, unhelpful and all around miserable to deal with. There were no one else waiting in the lobby. So many other options in Vegas - this place has a subpar location and horrible customer service. Just don't do it.

Four nights and amazing flight price on red tag. Staff amazing. Location is fine. The Deuce bus is best way to go up & down the strip. My only complaint is resort fees at $49.00 USD per day and one of two pools closed all of June. McDonald's is a plus. Walgreens across the street. Avoid Circle K.

Great place to stay. Uber ride to just about anywhere not at peak times were around $15. Keep in mind uber drop off is not in the same place as uber pick up. Make a reservation for dinner there at the top of the world. Experience 10/10. Room was clean, staff was nice. People were loud in the halls but it's Vegas. You aren't there for a peaceful vacation. Go ask if you can join them for the evening.

Soley reviewing the observation deck as we were there for a private event. I was glad it was a private event as the Strat hotel seems to be in need of some upkeeping as parts seems to be worn out. The views from the observation deck were awesome. You can see for miles. There are plenty of rides that you can pay for, although the roller coaster seems to have been out of service for a while talking to some of the hostesses. The upkeep in the observation deck was better than that of the common areas of the hotel and the casino. Not sure if I'd pay to go to the observation deck but the view is spectatular!

I had to the most amazing experience with the Shea at the front desk. He was so accommodating & Professional He went above and beyond to find me a mayonaise packet. I cant wait to visit this hotel again

We never received clean towels in the four days we were there, even after I asked for them. They also charged us an extra $35 per night to have a room with a coffee maker then never actually provided more coffee for it after the first day so we still had to purchase our own coffee.

They do not care about you or how your stay is. Absolutely awful experience for their "beloved locals." They booked one room for us but didnt bother to mention it is in their old rooms. Before we get to the front desk we encounter what we thought was the front desk only to realize it's some time share BS. Finally get to the front desk and they tell us we have a room in the old rooms and pushed us to upgrade for a nicer room at a $50 charge. So we did. Now we're in the room and what's the view? The hvac system - couldn't see over the wall and a giant light shining into our room. And to top it off, we're right in front of the elevators so people coming and going constantly. The customer service has been absolutely awful with the exception of the operator (Yes, the in-house phone operator). We called multiple times to the front desk and kept getting hung up on. When we checked out we tried to speak about the room issues and they said, "why didnt you come back and ask us to reverse the charge?" We did. We tried multiple times and the supervisor was absolutely the ruddest. We will not return and don't recommend you try it out either. I would LOVE to add photos do you can see what an upgrade is, but cant seem to find an option for that. I will say, The Top of The World was the only saving grace for the Strat. It was a different experience from the hotel altogether. Our server & steaks were perfect. Come for the restaurant and nothing more. This hotel is disgusting and dishonest. Our room was filthy: stains all over the toilet walls, food crumbs everywhere under the drawers, and a used medical needle under the bed. Absolute health hazard. On top of that, they sneakily added a smoking fee to our bill for a non-smoking room — even though I don't smoke and don't even drink. They tried to slip it in hoping we wouldn't notice. If I hadn't checked my bank statement, I never would have known. When we called them out, they had the nerve to accuse us of smoking drugs and lighting candles... I'm clearly not the only guest they've done this to. They only removed the bogus charge after we pushed back. This place is a rip-off joint that preys on guests with dirty rooms and sneaky charges. Do not stay here. Zero stars.

Found a used needle in the carpet!! The room was in terrible condition even though we stopped in one of the “renovated rooms” After checking out I received a email saying there has been a $500 smoke charge added to my credit card even though we don't smoke and never have! It's impossible to speak to anybody senior who can actual deal with complaints. I've been trying to speak to them for 2 days before leaving my review in hope it could be rectified.

We stayed at the strat 3 nights in April 2026.. Upon check in they upgraded our room which was nice but then held a large deposit. Less than an hour after checking in we were charged $566 for "smoking". We don't smoke. That night the fire alarms went off for 3 hours which forced my handicapped husband to walk down 14 flights of stairs at midnight. Multiple times they kept trying to charge us to the point I had to cancel my debit card. I've tried contacting them and get no response. We never got our deposits back either. The tower is cool. Everything else is extremely expensive inside the hotel gift shop like $12 for 2 bottles of pop.

I found a live bedbug on my arm in their room and their response to the issue leaves me concerned with the rest of property. It took almost an hour of waiting in the main casino with all of my clothes/luggage before security walked me to my room where I showed them the live bed bug in question. All they did was move me to a new room and refund the resort fees (nothing with the room fees). I asked if they had any procedure for cleaning my clothes or beyond and they basically said I can find a laundry matt with the resort fee refund and then gave me a card to their risk management team. There were absolutely no procedures to potentially stop me from spreading more bed bugs around the resort. No bags to seal anything. No help on finding decontamination methods, getting new clothes, or a new bag. I did my own research and ended up buying my own plastic bags, clothes, and travel bag to prevent spreading anything and bringing bugs back home which they refuse to reimburse me for. Their risk management borderline gas-lit me saying things like "alleged bed bug" and telling me their 3rd party inspection service found the room to be "negative" for bed bugs... I left that room with a live bed bug under a clear plastic cup in the middle of a table. If their 3rd party service labels that room as "negative", then I am concerned with other rooms/areas that also may have been labeled as "negative". Here are pictures of the bed bug that their security saw first-hand, a hotel manager saw a picture of, and what their inspection service is claiming as "negative".

Paid for an upgraded room and was assigned a room with a broken bed, A/C and shower head. Sewage smell was also present in the bathroom. Staff was unwilling to comp the upgrade if we changed rooms and was going to make us wait several hours if we refunded the upgraded rate to get our downgraded room. Ridiculous service and treatment from front desk staff, don't waste your money here.

Went to have a good time in the blackjack tournament on the 12th. After placing in the tournament, we were instructed that it would only take 10 to 15 minutes. Then it turned into two hours and when I ask multipletimes what was going on the only answer that we received at the end is that the manager was new and the person in the cash box told us that they were hiring and if we wanted to fill out an application we could.

First off, I wanted to share my gratitude to Ms. Alexia at the Strat Pool, both only is she a true customer service professional but she was able to assist us when our initial plan to Sahara Pool did not go as planned. Alexia, I hope you hit the lottery, may your pillows be cold & comfy each and every single night! May you forever glow! On to the pool area, management should ensure that the umbrellas are functional, that they open and close, my beau had to use his keys to lock the umbrella to stay put and keep us shaded. We locals want to help and keep the strip busy but it's also difficult with the policies other hotels and casinos place in! The pool shape is not too deep and at least it's not a boring square shape. I would definitely come back for another time!

don't wast your time or money there are better hotels in Vegas the STRAT Hotel and casino has the most uncomfortable beds as if they never switched out the mattresses. They reek and they also have bugs. book at a different hotel it will save you time and money.

We ate at Chi Asian kitchen restaurant. The food was delicious.Definitely recommend the spicy edamame. Marija, our waitress, was especially great!

We booked the iconic Stratosphere for our first visit to Vegas, at the end of the strip its tower can be visible for miles. On entering the hotel it's typically Vegas full of bright lights and fruit machines. There were several eateries available including a McDonalds, Starbucks, pizzeria and a wings restaurant. We chose a newly renovated room on a non-smoking floor. We used the self check in on arrival which was straight forward and easy. Our room was on the 17th floor of the North Tower. Lifts were regular and quick. The floor was relatively quiet. On entering our room we found it was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, modern artwork, a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, digital safe, empty mini fridge and hairdryer. Although supposedly newly renovated, it was in need of some TLC. The headboard was worn, toilet roll holder broken and generally the walls could have done with a freshen up. The air-con unit had seen better days and had a mind of its own. When we needed it to work it failed too and yet other times was constantly going off. The bathroom was compact, but serviceable. Nice touch with toiletries provided. The room was serviced each day, beds made, fresh towels provided. Housekeeping did a more than adequate job. The pool area was on the 8th floor. It had ample sun loungers, waitress service for drinks and food and a good sized pool. I'd advise bringing your own towels as the ones provided were super thin and extremely small. On the only day we used it, we tried to order food but were informed the menu was less than half on offer because they had an event on, which was disappointing. The observation deck didn't disappoint with its views, especially at night. Well worth a visit. Would we stay again - yes.

Tired but worth the view. I went up with locals, which meant with loyalty cards you dont need to pay. You would be disappointed if you paid. The view is good, though otherwise old and tired and not in a great part of time.

Jaylee was so welcoming and helpful, we made an error on our reservation, she went out of her way to fix something WE did wrong, accommodated several of our requests and was just a delight. We had a terrible experience at a nearby hotel and we absolutely did the right thing switching to the Strat. Thank you to Jaylee!

Got this as a budget option for Vegas without going as low as circus circus. It ended up being a beautiful room, great AC, TV all that jazz. For the price and quality I was ticketed with this option.

Hotel charged me extra because my wife was doing her hair. Literally took money out and put a hold on it until I left. Calvin the supervisor was the only one who handled the situation professionally by waiving the fee and giving a 25$ food voucher. It sucked because our gambling and fun money was gone until we checked out. Only thing I would've done differently would have been giving both me and my wife a 25$ food voucher because we basically had to share it.

Had a great experience at the strat tower. All day pass from go city allowed me to view city in day time and at night. Easy entry. Best view of strip

kD was so accommodating. Our flight from Mexico had been changed and we randomly picked the stratosphere to stay at for Delta airlines and I'm glad we did! Katie gave us tickets to see the come and do so which we really needed because we needed a good laugh at that point. He got my husband a smoking loom so that he didn't have to go all the way down from the 22nd floor. Every time you wanted a cigarette and they even gave us that to us for dinner which we enjoyed in front of the restaurants, fireplace... An unexpected but great stay because of a great employee!

We're currently staying here on a 5 night visit. We love the location ( slightly off the strip but we like that) it's not as busy up this end which we like. The pool is lovely, but you have to buy all food and drink there which can be costly, as it's not cheap. Great amenities, everything other hotels in the area has, and plenty of places outside the hotel to eat are reasonable prices. Down side, we paid for a room upgrade, we're on floor 21 and our room absolutely sticks of cannabis, it sickeningly sticks. I know it's legal here but I'm not sure it should smell this bad in here. Also the room is dated.

CRAP! Upon check in they wanted to charge me for extortionate resort fees which were NOT advertised on my booking. Then they tried to charge for a smoke alarm fee of $566 as supposedly the smoke detector went off. Despite the fact I WAS NOT IN MY ROOM! And I do NOT smoke. There were no candles or anything that produce smoke in my room. THEN upon check out the white gentlemen behind the counter was discriminatory and rude and dismissive. I openly stated I have a disability and he was severely dismissive and rude because of this. Overall my entire stay was unwelcoming and a case of discrimination. Never again.

Our stay at The STRAT did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. Upon arrival, our check-in experience was uncomfortable. From the moment we entered the hotel, a staff member repeatedly pressured us to accept promotional tickets, even after we politely declined multiple times. This felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Our initial room on the 21st floor had several issues, including a strong smoke odor, a non-functioning phone and clock, and a malfunctioning heating and air conditioning system. We requested a room change and were moved to a newly renovated room on the 8th floor, for which we were charged an additional fee of over $100. Unfortunately, that room also had problems, as both the sink and toilet were not functioning properly. Maintenance was called, and while addressing the issues, one of the technicians used my personal washcloth to wipe his sweat without permission. I witnessed this and addressed it immediately. This behavior was extremely inappropriate and unacceptable. We later spoke with two supervisors, Jason and Julio. Julio was professional and accommodating, and we appreciate his assistance. Unfortunately, Jason was not as patient or pleasant when handling our concerns. Despite the number of issues we experienced, we were also unable to receive a late checkout, which added to the inconvenience of our stay. While we were offered a $50 food voucher, we do not feel this adequately compensated for the multiple issues we experienced during our stay, particularly given the additional charge for the second room. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again.

We had a very distressing experience during checkout. Our carry-on and personal bag containing passports and valuables were stolen from our floor. Security later confirmed on camera that two individuals took our belongings and left through the stairs. However, we were not shown the footage, and the response felt insufficient given the seriousness of the situation. This left us feeling unsafe and unsupported.

Seen upgraded rooms online and thought with the renovations would be sufficient for our stay. Our friends got an upgraded room on the 8th floor (select tower) and they had a nice room. Our room was 24-063 (select tower) and first the room smelled weird walking in, the beds were uneven. 2 queens. One was significantly lower. The AC button up didn't work so it was freezing which wasn't terrible because it was hot. Our bathroom just seemed run down. The lamp shade which I thought was unique looking turned out to be upside down lol and a bulb was out. Second day, the smelled hot so much worse! It smelled like someone legit pooped.. it only lingered by the door. Or like sewage. We told front desk but all they were able to offer us was a housekeeper to go up and spray. Which they did and it just seemed like lavender covering up poop. It was our last night so we just stayed, but won't stay here again.

Dirty, smelly and rude casino staff. If you enjoy smelling like an ashtray this is the place for you. I appreciate you're allowed to smoke in the Caisno but the smell that hits you when you walk in from the outdoors made me feel sick. It was a different smell to any of the other hotel we walked into. I didn't notice the smoke smell in any other hotel on the strip. The older women who work in the casino was so rude, spoke down to me for no reason and made me feel so uncomfortable as she stared at me every time I walked through the Caisno. (I wasn't gambling) This wasn't my choice to stay here and I was put here on a business trip. I stayed at the Flamingo for the second half of my trip which was worth the extra bit of money. You might not be in the room for much of your stay, but feeling safe and clean is so important! I would never step foot in this hotel ever again.

This place is nothing special and I won't be returning. The staff is cold and standoffish, and not particularly helpful. Room, was ok, but again nothing that would compel me to return. Just an average hotel and casino

I'm not a frequent Vegas visitor. However, I've traveled to 30 countries and 6 of the 7 continents. The Strat is a joke. I've had more comfortable experiences in roadhouses in the outback of Australia than this so called resort. Explore other options.

The room was basic. One side of the bed coped all the air from the noisy floor mount AC that needed a service, the other side of the bed had a sag in the mattress. Housekeeping came at any time of the day, including when we were trying to get dressed to go out. The worst thing was the coffee machine. The scum that came out of that machine nearly made me want to throw up. It has obviously never been descaled or properly cleaned and flushed. A health hazard!!! The side foyer doors would let you out but not back in, making you have to walk all the way around again. The music at the entry and on the casio floor was way too loud, couldn't hear the croupier. The lack of shops on the second level was a shame and as with most casinos, helpful signage was non existent. Oh, and the free event tickets they give you all have tax to be paid on them, so they are not really free. And to use the match play, you have to sign up to be a member. The location is not safe once you leave the hotel, don't walk past the bus stops unless your in a large group.

WOW. Not the place to stay. From the minute we got there, we were given the wrong room to check in, then new room wreaked of pot ($750 fine), safe not working and no hot water for our last morning. Due to its location we didn't dare venture out at night let alone the day time. On a plus side, the view from the observation deck was amazing and the staff were lovely.

The Strat words fail me, From checking, room servuce and food very poor . After 15 hours travelling you arrive to checking to be told they only have Queen rooms when you paid extra for upgraded Elevated King room. Standing my ground they finally gave us an elevated king room. Arriving at floor lift opening tge stench of drugs was rife, opening the door to room be swamped by un made bed , towels on floor, food left on side half eaten, the bathroom a total mess with human waste all over tge toilet. Drink half drunk and loose chang on cabinate. We returned to reception and complained. Trying to get the attention of Anthony who gave us the room he bowed his head and walked off. (Maybe due to fact i wouldn't take queen room did he do this on purpose?) Speaking with another receptionist showing photos of state of the room i requested a manager. The manager didnt look at pictures appologised said he will put us away from the room with view to newly renovated select tower. As an appology 2 free passes to the top of The Strat. The room was alot cleaner, but not perfect. Calling down we was given extra coffee and towels and room service came to deliver and clean floor. Your'e charged $50.00 extra per day for wifi, gym, swimming. Plus 1 x 20% discount off top of the world Meal. Pool closed, gym we dont use, the wifi cuts off every 5 minutes. A con called resort fees. Buyer beware. ASKING AT RECEPTION why we are paying for resort fees when we can not use them, " well in summer pools open and wifis better, you can pay 19.99 for wifi per day extra) The phone covered in dust dirty, tge fridge what you pay extra for had food and water left in from previiys quests. Hotel said its free keep it no charge. The worse thing was tge smell of drugs , staff hoovering after 1am doors banging loud women shouting . The top of the world restaraunt award winning its not, $50.00 for window seat, view very good can not ignore that. Yet the old greasy stale smell as you enter from the lift is off putting. The food your served in tin bowls my dogs had same bowls. The food bland , starters bland not seasoned, the mains fish like slop, the pork over cooked very dry, the terrible smell of the undercooked spices very harsh . But to be served in a dog bowl shocking. This is supposed to be a dining experience it was far from that left most of it then was presented with a bill for $250.00. With the appologies "we are sorry but your room card isnt workung we can not give you your points or extra discount( 20% off) please go down 108 floors to cardcservuces for ut to be sorted out. Unreal , both card rewards and reveption did nothing apart from state tge restaraunt should have fixed it too late now as we left restaraunt. We did get 20% off eventually. The staff when asked about hoovering after 1am rude , abrupt , and stated will stop when done. Surprisingly my words wasn't polite after that. House keeping never hoovered floor once in 7 days , never left soap or lotions once , did leve clean towels 3 times maybe as i soaked and left on floor . The tip reflected my satisfaction $2.00 for week. Tips are earned not a given you reward good service where i come from . Never the less wouldn't reccomend or stay at this resort again, the service , food rooms and drugs are not whats expected or resort fees for services that you can not use. Very poor 3 been generous

This place is an absolute dump. It is in a trashy part of town at the very end of the Las Vegas strip. The bathroom doors at sliding barn doors that offer no real privacy. The gap between the door and the wall is so big you can see if an individual is showering or on the toilet, terrible. They have also outsourced their parking to a company called Metropolis, which charge all types of hidden fees. The Strat takes no responsibility and just refers you to call Metropolis to dispute your claim. It is a nightmare. These are the kinds of experiences that make going to Las Vegas extremely unappealing. Almost every hotel in Las Vegas charges for parking (Corporate Greed) but at least you are able to include it in to your hotel bill. The Strat simply chose to outsource their parking and misleads their guest with the price of parking. Avoid this pace and spend just about the same at a better quality hotel.

Do not stay here, horrible experience. They charged us multiple times for one room and refused to give us a refund when we pointed out we had been charged several times for one room. All together they took 6 separate payments for over $100 on my card. When I asked to speak to a manager he was extremely rude and refused to take any blame stating I was too poor to stay at their hotel even though I had proof on my bank account of all the charges they had taken and the money I had to pay for the hotel. When we left to go find a different hotel they continued taking payments from my card throughout the night. I had since blocked the hotel from my card so each payment declined but they still continued to try and take more money for up to 24 hours after the initial encounter. Since then they have reached out and told us this is a common thing that happens with foreign cards. The only reason they reached out to us is because my boyfriend wrote negative reviews and contacted them multiple times. They are yet to contact us again after the fact. Very upset with this hotel and the treatment we received here. I have been waiting to post a review as I was giving them a chance to correct the solution. We have received a refund but I feel the treatment by staff and the lack of responsibility taken by the hotel until called out has left us frustrated.

First time doing something like this and the staff was very reassuring, friendly and great at calming my nerves. Beautiful view of the strip! Definitely will be doing this again!

Planning our first trip from alaska to Vegas has been a nightmare! Between all of the websites, bookings and customer service calls.... I really appreciate his ability to answer all of my questions, and solve every issue I have had trying to navigate these ridiculous websites and phone calls. Thank you Evan!

We dined at the Top of The World restaurant and had a window seat. I've done this experience at other locations before, and this was truly the best. We arrived right before sunset and into the night-lights. It was amazing! (yes, Im usually nervous with heights, but for some reason, not here.). Seeing The LV Strip and the Sphere from so high up was spectacular.

I had a wonderful stay stay at The Strat. All the employees that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. My room type was the Boulevard Suite and it was amazing. The room was spotless, quiet and comfortable. I enjoyed the variety of of slots in the casino. Admission to the tower is discounted for hotel guests. The only thing I wish was different was the availability of dining choices. During the first part of the week the only choices are Strat Cafe for breakfast and lunch and PT's for dinner as well as a 24 hour McDonald's. Top of the World is also open but that restaurant is more of a special occasion restaurant. There are two other sit down restaurants as well as Nunzios pizza that are closed during the first part of the week. Even with limited dining choices i had a really good time and I plan at staying at Strat again in the near future.

The Strat is a solid budget option if you don't mind being a little removed from the main Strip action. I stayed in a renovated room and it was genuinely nice — think “good Hampton Inn” vibes, maybe even Hilton Garden Inn. Bonus points for daily housekeeping, which feels like a rare luxury these days. The casino itself, however, is not a highlight — it felt dark and a bit depressing compared to other properties. Also, if you're gambling here (or anywhere in Vegas), it's worth noting the room has a safe, which is a good place to stash any winnings.

I visited the Strat on Jan 22-23, 2026. I was in Select 15-053. First night I spent in Vegas. My room was rather plain...I kind of expected this and had no issues. Check in was no problem. I'm content with my selection and appreciate the visit.

Overall a good value for the price. Victor at the check in area was super helpful. There are several dining options as well as entertainment.

We stayed on the 17th floor. While the view wasn't great, we wouldn't have been able to see much anyway due to the fogged windows. The room clearly needs proper ventilation, as the moisture buildup caused the windows to remain misted and resulted in mold along the window seal. Although the room had a coffee maker, it was broken. The shower was usable, but extremely cramped to the point where my face was nearly against the wall while showering. The sink was either clogged or draining very slowly, which caused an unpleasant sewer-like odor. The beds were very uncomfortable. One of them had a noticeable dip in the mattress, making it impossible to sleep on, so it went unused. On a positive note, the staff was pleasant and the hotel itself smelled clean and welcoming. Overall, however, the rooms are in need of a major upgrade.

I have been an EPIC member for 2 years-- I have shown my ID at least 100 times to every Golden Enterprise property in Nevada -- I have a host at most there casinos. On November 30th of this year I was approached by several security guards how told me I had to leave from there properties. It has been almost 2 months and NO ONE will tell me why. I have written about 8 letters with NO response at all. It can be you next.-- stay away from all there properties-- Stratosphere AZ charlies in Laughlin Aquarious and Edgewater -- and some in Pahrump also.

I dined in at PTs with my children. Becca was my waitress make was so nice to my daughters they loved her. Justin went above and beyond and I appreciate it.

My family is visiting Las Vegas for CES and we decided to visit the Strat to play 3 card poker for a nice break during the show. We took a taxi from the convention center, specifically for this purpose, on Thursday, January 8, around 1PM. Upon entering the casino, we noticed noone manning the 3 card poker table and asked the pit boss to open the table which he refused to do despite having personnel at tables with no people! He said to come back at 4, which we explained was impossible. He wouldn't accomodate us despite having manned, but empty tables! My daughter and I came there SPECIFICALLY for this purpose and felt the pit boss' decision to be unwarranted considering the circumstances. The YouTube videos show this place as a welcoming and friendly place; they allow filming in the morning as well. Unfortunately, the videos do not convey the Strat accurately. I feel the pit boss needs to be retrained to be more accommodating, flexible, and less rude. He squandered a good opportunity and left us deeply disappointed, not to mention the money we wasted on needless transportation. My advice would be to seek out your gambling experience elsewhere with friendlier staff whom are more in tune to the needs of their customers.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at The STRAT. While the room was clean and the maintenance staff was responsive, the overall value proposition is lacking. The property charges a $49.95 daily resort fee, but the tangible amenities provided do not justify the cost. The fee covers the pool and weight room, but the internet is incredibly slow—essentially hidden behind a paywall if you need functional speeds. In 2026, charging extra for reasonable Wi-Fi on top of a resort fee feels outdated. The Pros: The room was clean. On-site maintenance is fast and professional. The Cons: Lack of basic amenities: No bottled water provided in the room. Service hurdles: I experienced a total lack of hot water one evening. When I called for help, I was forced to navigate an AI agent that couldn't give me a timeframe for repairs. I had to insist on speaking to a human just to find out maintenance would arrive in 15 minutes. Hot Water Issues: It took nearly an hour from my first attempt to finally get a hot shower, as the water heater was located far from my room. While the 20% discounts on attractions are a nice gesture, they don't make up for the lack of basic "tangible" value.

I checked in online and it took me 30 mins to get my keys at 2 in the morning. There were a line of about 20 people for regular checkin, with just two people helping. I'm in the "Select" tower, which I think is name that becasue I should have selected to be in a different hotel. Everything in this room is old or broken. The are three small lamps, it's dim like a haunted house. The AC control panel has been partially pulled off the walll, so there's no AC unless you push the panel back into the wall and then the AC comes on but none of the controls work. To turn the AC off you pull the panel out again. The bath tub drains slowly (yuck), the phone buttons are dirty. There's no body wash in the body wash container. I have stayed in Motel 6's that were better maintained. Oh yeah, there's no wifi at all. I'm using my phone as a hotspot. I was here three years ago and don't remember it being this bad, so either theyr'e letting this tower fall apart, or letting the whole thing fall apart. At least they're doing a good job at entropy.

I had a bad experience checking in. The staff immediately told me I couldn't check in. I told them I had already paid for my reservation and asked if they could give me a refund, but they said no.

My family has been coming to the STRATS for the past 4 years and we LOVE this hotel. This year the customers service was not nice and the manager on shift was not pleasant or understandable to my request. The room we was placed in the curtains was falling off the rack, the mattress had springs coming up that made it uncomfortable to sleep, there was no towel for our use and had to be requested daily. Only provided the big bath towel. House keeper stated we had to request for other services. This is the 1st time ever experiencing this at this hotel!!!! We have thoughts of changing our location when we return to Vegas. Management over your managers really need to retain your staff that customer courtesy is what helps keep the business growing.

Have a room that has what looks like blood on a wall. Plus the entire length of the tub tiles is black with dirt. Ash trays in the downstairs are over flowing with butts on the floor. The tis shows dirt from 1 in of tile. I went down to ask about getting it cleaned. They told me to pack my bags come down 21 floors , get a new room then go back up to whatever floor then unpack again.

Food & food service are good. Service related to lodging is wretched! Long lines to check in. No Bell service -- self service push cart available for $20 & photo ID. Key cards/room locks flaky. Went thru 3 separate key sets, each with a long wait at check-in desk. (They don't care if you can't enter your room. Get in line!) In-room amenities sparse. No wash cloths or shower caps. Couldn't buy caps anywhere on property. Final straw: call at 11PM demanding we pack and more to another room. Plumbing work had to be done next door. We refused to move until next day. There was no Bell service to help. Discussion with staff indicate budget shortfall & staff cuts. I assume casino odds also changed in favor of casino. Strat is in death spiral. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I slept well, and I didn't mind the lack of a window or bathtub given what I paid. The STRAT Tower is the main attraction. The view is fantastic, and the $10 guest admission is absolutely worth it. If you sign up for the slot club, they may even comp your tower tickets. The neighborhood is improving, and the location works well for access to both the Strip and downtown. If you plan to hop between other properties, center Strip is more convenient, but for pure value, The STRAT is hard to beat. I enjoyed my stay and would happily return—just be aware of the added fees when booking through Expedia or similar sites.

Stayed for 10 nights, upgraded to a better room for $120 for the 10 nights. Check in was quick and easy. The room was one of the refurbished ones, clean and had a fridge which was handy. Not much of a view, but who goes to Vegas to stare out the window. Only downside is from Circus Circus to the Strat is a very run down area, lots of rubbish and homeless people. We we're approached by a homeless man who was aggressive and asking for money and cigarettes who actually snatched the cigarette from my husbands hand. Unsettling experience, this has put me off staying around this area again.

Second time staying here with a coffee and fridge in the room helped tremendously when picking up perishables from Walmart to snack on during the night. Nice clean room as a base of operations. Got to see Rouge show which was a hoot and got cast photos at the end. Only small issue was that on the day of checkout, housekeeping decided to knock the door at 9:30 am and before I had chance to answer it, let herself in (I was partially naked) Other than that it does the job as somewhere to sleep etc, we were out of the room 90% of the time. On the last day playing the 25¢ buffalo slots won most of our money back. When booking the room make sure to select queens with fridge etc. Its at the north end of the strip and you can either use rideshare- lyft is cheaper than Uber around town but will increase prices if it's raining (a normal trip from the strat to new York new York is normally $8.99 but cost us near enough $20 as it was raining on Saturday. Try not to walk down towards Dennys etc as the area is sketchy with homeless people wandering around. Walgreens is across the street is handy for snacks etc (safe during the day but night is a different story) Keep your wits about you, keep your phone out of sight and your bag across your chest. Will definitely be coming back to The Strat. Oh just a heads up that they'll charge you $300 security deposit ( you get it back) on arrival plus a $49.95 resort fee per day. WiFi is a signin job each day.

The Stratosphere used to be my “go to” hotel in Vegas. It's at the far end of the strip, but the Deuce bus is right there, so it was always a good option for me and my family whenever we visited Vegas. I took a trip in November and was scammed out of the deposit I had made for a night. I used a third party booking code and put a deposit down for a night. It went through because it was on my credit card. The Strat had a record of my reservation, but said it didn't qualify because I didn't have a form they needed. They offered to rebook me at a higher rate, to which I agreed, but they would not refund the original deposit I had made. I've been staying at the Strat since 2006. Never staying there again!

The reason for our trip was my husband's birthday, which is also coincidentally our anniversary. Immediately upon entering, we were ambushed by an employee asking questions. We were herded to a desk, where we were basically talked into a 2 hour time share presentation, which we paid $50 for in the end. We were told we would receive free food and gaming vouchers, free comedy club tickets, etc. Instructed to sign or initial many things to get a paper confirming the information. When we tried to back out after being told we had to pay and had to commit hours of our already tight schedule...we were persuaded again. As we settled in our room, I received a call from the employee on my cell phone, stating that we had to go to the presentation in less than an hour, when the appointment that was set was the next morning. We bristles at this, as the location was almost 30 minutes away. When we told the employee we had plans that evening and were meeting family, she said it would only take 2 hours and we should leave right now. We told her that we preferred to keep the appointment that we already agreed to, but were told that the place the event was held was closing down for renovations. So, now we are out $50. They bombarded us with the same act every time we came downstairs. In the end, we didn't say anything at check out because my husband just wanted it to be done, and not come back here again. We actually argued about this incident, putting quite a damper on our trip. I wanted to complain, but he didn't. Also, I asked housekeeping for any items we needed before heading out to an event, and requested they not service our room. When we returned, the bed was made and new towels were in the bathroom. Not bad, but unsettling...as I requested no service. Also, some handles and things in the room were broken. Paying for the room should be enough, tacky to scam us for more money that we lost. Next time, we'll just rent an Air B&B.

Charged us over €800 for 2 rooms that were meant to be 131 each. Refused to admit their mistake and blamed us. Don't go here

I stayed at The STRAT Hotel & Casino ([dates]) and was charged $850 for a “smoking” violation — even though nobody smoked in the room — and they kept my $300 incidental deposit, totaling $1,150. When I asked for proof, the hotel provided “sensor data” that didn't match any actual smoking activity or timeframe. They couldn't explain what the numbers meant or why it triggered, but still insisted the charge was valid. Their own signage listed a $500 fee limit, not $850. I used Rapid Rewards points for a higher-level suite but was downgraded to a lower room category with no refund of points. I've since filed a dispute with my bank. Guests should be cautious — this hotel appears to rely on faulty sensors and doesn't provide real evidence before billing huge fees.

Lovely hotel, easy check in and staff are so friendly. Loved our meal at Top of the World, absolutely amazing. We used the social cafe around the pool area and I must say the guises great. Chef Danny Moreno came out to make sure all was good. He's a credit to the Strat team as were the bar staff. Great hotel will return in future and definitely recommend.

I stayed at the Strat for 3 nights in September. Even though I gave them my booking details which were supposed to include a $25 a night resort fee discount - they would not honor it. I have sent 4 emails and they will not respond. Stayed there twice in the last year - never again - zero customer service once they have your credit card

I planned my wedding from Indiana with some of the most amazing staff. Everything was just perfect. I couldn't have asked for better. The building will have you speechless as it has so many amenities to cater to young and old.

I've stayed many times over the last 20+ years (under different ownerships). Last year I almost decided after it took weeks of complaining to get the deposit back not to stay here any more, but I did. This year the deposit had increased to $300 with no notice, hoping I get it back smoothly. We arrived to the refrigerator switched off but the TV on, meaning we had to wait for it to cool, which seemed odd. The safe was also locked. Why does the hotel think tired travellers want to arrive to loud annoying music on the TV in the room? The wifi was the worst issue, constant problems getting online which caused a lot of stress and inconvenience, as international travellers we are reliant on the wifi for so many things. The resort fee is $55 a day and we couldn't access wifi most of the time. I brought it to the staff's attention multiple times and they kept fobbing me off telling me to contact the wifi company; why should I, I'm a customer of the hotel not the wifi company. We decided to have a pool day on Monday, a warm September day, the pool was closed for no apparent reason. What exactly are we paying this resort fee for? Most power outlets in the room didn't work so we struggled to charge devices as well as access wifi, no USB ports worked at all. The maintenance staff just shrugged their shoulders. I'm sure we'll get an insincere apologetic response to this review, but it's meaningless when the staff don't care to help when you're actually at the hotel. We're finally done with this place, ever since Arizona Charlie's bought it, it's been going downhill. Next year we're heading south to Circus Circus. Most of the power outlert

Brenda Martin was our cocktail waitress while we were playing roulette. She was the most attentive cocktail waitress I've had in Vegas in at least a decade or two. It was like the old days where they would actually bring you drinks as yours was finishing. We played roulette for hours without having to get up and go anywhere because she kept coming around so often. And she was so nice and fun as well. Crazy how much a good cocktail waitress can make gambling fun again like it used to be.

JJ the bartender was excellent very friendly and a good laugh a chat definitely our favourite bartender during our time spent here introduced us to many new drinks

Can't fault this hotel casino great place to stay and gamble .There is plenty in the area gets a lot of negativity in reviews but in our experience totally unfounded room service excellent very hard working people reception are very good at there jobs polite and very happy to help . Good choice to eat in hotel and there is a Denny's and IHOP and Carl jr a short walk outside .Don't forget to try Aztec cafe cheap breakfast excellent quality and price . Would stay here again in easy reach of monorail at the Sahara and there is a bus stop outside and the Vegas loop bus that takes round Fremont and arts district to the shopping maul has a stop at the taxi pickup and it's free . Please if you go pay to go up the strat tower well worth your ticket lasts all day great views.

My recent stay at The Strat Hotel was nothing short of a disaster. I had high hopes for a comfortable visit, having reserved a King Suite, but what transpired was a series of unbelievable mishaps that left me both frustrated and appalled. Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation had been downgraded, while my sister, who had booked a standard room, was inexplicably upgraded to a Queen Suite. This initial interaction set the tone for what was to be a completely disappointing experience. After going through the hurdle of our Downgrade (for the same price as my original room) We proceeded to our room. Upon entry, I was horrified to find that it hadn't been cleaned. The stench of rotted ranch wafted from the fridge, potato chips were stuffed into the sofa, and the second TV was non-functional. To add insult to injury, the room was equipped with just two towels and no soap. Despite my requests through the concierge app for a cleaning, and extra towels, over five hours passed without a response. Determined to salvage my sister's wedding week, I resorted to purchasing cleaning supplies to freshen the room myself. As I attempted to turn down what seemed to be a clean bed, I discovered pubic hair, crumbs, and the imprint of someone's face on the sheets. It was 11:30 p.m., and I was at my wits' end. The response from the front desk was as shocking as the state of the room. The staff was dismissive and rude, claiming none of this was their responsibility. After a heated exchange, I finally received an armful of towels and a new set of sheets from a clearly overworked housekeepers. The following morning, I was promised a room change to rectify the previous night's ordeal. After spending 45 minutes at the front desk, I was assured that a new room would be ready by 6:00 p.m. However, upon returning, I was met with yet another unclean room—this time with garbage, used condoms, and marijuana on the table. It was utterly disgusting. Despite my valid frustration, the staff continued to insist that it was not the hotel's fault, and I was condescendingly told to calm down. It took FIVE attempted room changes and the involvement of security before we were finally placed in a room that met basic cleanliness standards. The entire experience was accompanied by what I can only describe as sexist treatment. Staff members appeared dismissive and patronizing, often addressing my husband instead of me, even though we both raised concerns. In conclusion, The Strat Hotel failed spectacularly in providing even the most basic level of customer service and hygiene. The staff's inept inability to manage room cleanliness and their condescending attitude was deeply unprofessionaland unbecoming. Fair warning to future guests. Check your room and your sheets immediately and demand security checks before occupancy. Avoid the North Tower at all costs. Especially 22-124. That is the WORST room. Room 22-046 had the marijuana and used condoms. Just consider alternative accommodations if you value your peace of mind!

I went to check into the Strat hotel, and the process was seamless. Kejdi helps me find the perfect room, at a rate that was affordable. He was patient, funny, and had a pleasant aura about him. If management is reading this, please take care of Kejdi, he is an asset to your company!!!

Strat is too far from strip . Rooms dated we had initially booked room with two queens and on check in we were told they upgraded us to king bed room but it seemed more like downgrade. No kettle r coffee machine and bathroom so tiny it was shower and toilet and wash basin N room. Really disappointed with room. The main pool was closed so that was Also a let down. You could stay on strip for Same cost.

Hotel was nice half the time the cable tv did not work. NO HOT TUBS even though it is advertised as one there. Also every time you go to the casino you got bombarded by time share ppl THAT DONT KNOW OR UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF NO / NOT INTERESTED. THEY KEEP HOUNDING YOU.

Security Officers Cody McKissick and Mr. Woods were absolutely amazing during my trip. They made us feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for the entire time. They even provided a full itinerary, which made our experience so much smoother. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond. I would love to see them again on future trips, and I believe they truly deserve recognition for their outstanding service.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, after being talked into upgrading room there was no routine room cleaning no routine change of towels or bedding and after complaining told you have to request these. We did and still nothing.

We've been staying at e Strat forever 20 years when visiting Las Vegas. We had a great time. But when checking in, Michael L. was not great. He was cold, aloof and gave us no info about how to park, etc. He talked so fast, hoping to upsell us a room we didn't want. We had to get back in line to ask about parking, and how to set it up. The 2nd time, we talked to Julisa, who was great!! She has great customer service skills. But we shouldn't have had to wait in line TWICE.  In the room, the air conditioning didn't work properly. It never got the room lower that 70 degrees even though it was set to 60 degrees. So hot as the temps outside were 107 degrees. Finally our refrigerator didn't work and they had to bring us another. Annoying things. But it was pretty quiet and overall we enjoyed our stay. We loved the view from our room. Thank you to Julisa at the check-in desk & to the housekeeping staff that brought us a new refrigerator! Good housekeeping service.

I received excellent service I enjoyed my stay at the strat but the diner in the strat needs to be open 24 hours the food is great I stayed there 2 years ago and they stayed open all night.

Me my wife and daughter spent the Strat over the Labor Day weekend. I room was great but the first morning we were there we had breakfast at the Strat cafe . Our waiter was named Gabe. I had to take a phone call so my family sat down and ordered breakfast. I joined them ten minutes later. I am not a coffee drinker so I ordered water with my breakfast, at the same time my wife asked for a refill on her coffee and Gabe mentioned that if I was to drink the refill coffee, he would have to charge me the cost of a coffee which was $5.00. I made it clear to him that I am not a coffee drinker. When the bill came he did include extra coffee that didn't order. He did remove it from the bill and we left. My problem is I don't like being accused of stealing a cup of coffee. From what I could see Gabe (waiter) was convinced I was going to drink that coffee. It's terrible to be accused of stealing. I have never stolen anything in my life. We be vacationing in Vegas for over 36 years. I can't believe it's come to this.

I've been to this hotel many times over the years I'm still wondering why I keep returning. I booked a room in the tower, but they put me in I think what they called the Vegas tower in the smallest room ever and must have been the furthest possible one from the car park. However, they did change it for me and put me into a room with a view of the atomic golf course. The room was poorly furnished in that it had no chairs, no rack for a suitcase, it also did not have a desk lamp. There were very few power outlets but there was a fridge and coffee maker but no microwave. However, the bed was comfortable, and the room was serviced daily. The whole of the 2nd floor has virtually been boarded up and the shopping centre closed down. They give nothing to guests as they used to in that guests have to pay for tower access be it at a discounted price (which increases at weekends) even if they go up the tower for the thrill rides, you pay for, and you pay a ridicules amount of money for parking your car daily. The shows are still ok and guests get a discount. It's disappointing to say the least to see this nice hotel deteriorate so much over the years in spite of a name change to The Strat from The Stratosphere the renovation of a number of rooms and the loss of a restaurant and cafes

Worst “hospitality” staff ever! This maze of a hotel is a complete circus. Honestly, no wonder you've landed in Vegas. The housekeeping is inexistent. Even putting up giant road signs at your door won't get your room cleaned. During my whole 5-day stay, I had to wake up every day just to chase them down the corridors for new towels instead of enjoying a cocktail by the pool. Not to mention the useless reception staff. I reached out to ask for help to deposit money, so I was told to simply use one of the ATM machines in the casino lobby. At first, I thought they only allowed one to withdraw considering they usually regurgitate, not take, money, so I gave it a go. There were no clear directions on the screen whatsoever, so the ATM withdrew the amount I intended to deposit, and for that, I was charged a processing fee. Something that the staff didn't mention or help me resolve but merely begrudgingly denied any responsibility with utmost sarcasm.

Front desk was helpful Jason. The non upgraded rooms are extremely moldy!! And you will suffer and have breathing complications!!! Pls ask for a modern room. Love the attractions. I did the thriller ride that shoots up in the air! Pool staff and bartender James were great! The club inside the hotel that's free to guest is a vibe! Club Remix, with a good dj on Sat & sun!! It's worth the low rate considering all the amenities the property Offer.

Everything about this hotel was bad from a service and amenities standpoint. No coffee maker, no microwave, no fridge. So my leftovers spoiled, and I had to go hunt through the casino to find hot water for my tea. Asked for a coffee maker and I was told I would need to upgrade my room just to get one. Seriously? Went to the pool with a Red Bull in hand. Was told I could not bring it in because it was "dehydrating", yet people were walking around with water bottles full of Lord knows what, and they were selling liquor 20 feet away inside! I told room service I did not need cleaning, but needed new towels. They said they would bring them and never did. Asked for late checkout because my flight wasn't until late afternoon. Was told, "due to our capacity over the weekend we can't offer late checkout". That makes absolutely zero sense. If they were waiting for the room because new people were checking in, I could understand, but not because a lot of people were leaving. My friends stayed at Planet Hollywood and they said "no problem, you can stay til 2pm". Absolutely the worst service I have ever had at a hotel, and that's saying a lot, because I've stayed in some pretty crappy dives before.

Food good after sending back to kitchen for reheating. It came out cold the first time. Server Anya was excellent! Personable and very good at her job. When I go back I will ask for Anya!

We really love the Strat cafe we wish they would be open 24 hours 7 days a week because it's really awesome food. We don't like to go outside to like dennys or IHOP to eat. And the other places besides McCalls are like a snack bar. People like breakfast lunch and dinner. Thank you Angela Strube

Stayed at The Strat for a long weekend in August 2025. Had dinner at Chi, their Asian fusion restaurant. Our servers, Connie and Joanne, were fantastic and always pleasant, cheerful and prompt. The food was delicious!

I had the worst experience staying here. I checked in 8-9-25 and checked out 8-16-25. The 1st night there the rooms mattress had a huge divot in it. I couldn't even sleep. They did change my room, but i did not know a coffee pot and refrigerator were considered to be upcharges of $ 35 per night. I could have gotten Starbucks for cheaper. When i called to ask about a charge on my card, ( of which i feel like i was charged 2x for one night ) the lady was super rude. Don't waste your time staying here. You can find a better hotel for cheaper . That will be the last time i stay there.

My husband and I have been traveling to Las Vegas annually for almost 10 years, and we have never enjoyed a pool day in Vegas. Our first experience, the Swim & Social, at The Strat Hotel was amazing! The views, the service, and the new friends all made for a great day! It was also very nice to meet ERT V-6! We highly recommend this experience!

The tents here were all over the place and my family had a horrible time because it was boring, there was poop in my bed. There were stains on the walls, and my kids made no friends.

OMG! This hotel sells you a very cheap room when making the reservation and then you can upgrade so that you have a refrigerator, larger tv, etc. ended up paying more than double the price and had to pay $21 for parking! Then, when you walk in to the casino, you are bombarded with timeshare sellers. Very uncomfortable experience.

First time visiting this Chi Asian restaurant. The food was incredible. Joanne and Roann provided great food service. Highly recommended.

Fed And Diego both made check in/out a breeze ! They were Nice and accommodating with top tier cus service. Had a great time for my Birthday. Definitely a STAPLE when visiting Las Vegas. The STRAT is a must see and stay Hotel ! 10/10. Top Of The World was delicious, perfect ambiance and great service , beautiful views.

This was an absolute nightmare booking. They have an “all in summer promo” where you are supposed to get a base room rate with no resort fees and a $25 per night food credit. They charge resort fees and take the $25 food credit out of your security hold deposit and then make you fight to get it back with the front desk manager who is never available. They don't seem to care either way and I would suggest you save yourself some stree and book anywhere else. There was also a homeless guy with his cart full of nasty crap in the hotel hallway. Security was notified and did nothing, very unsafe.

As a Best Western Diamond Member and elite-tier guest with Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, and Wyndham, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world. Very few have disappointed me to the level The STRAT did. If you are expecting recognition for your loyalty, a clean and functional room, or even the most basic level of service — prepare to be sorely disappointed. Let me break it down: 1. Zero Acknowledgment of Elite Status Despite being a Diamond Member, my status was completely ignored at check-in. No upgrade. No welcome gift. No appreciation. Nothing. 2. Dirty Room and Broken Amenities Our “modern” room looked decent until we opened the ice bucket — and found used BAND-AIDs inside. Truly repulsive. The ice machine on our floor wasn't working, so we couldn't even replace the ice. Housekeeping? Not helpful. 3. Non-Functioning AC The air conditioning wouldn't cool the room below 74°F during the day — even when set to 64. At night, we barely got it down to 71. When I called to request a fan, I was told guests aren't allowed to have one. End of discussion. 4. No Basic Amenities Need a toothbrush? Don't bother calling Housekeeping — they'll tell you to buy one from the gift shop. This is the kind of service I'd expect from a rundown motel, not a property trying to pass itself off as a resort. 5. Customer Service? What Service? Trying to reach the front desk was a Kafkaesque nightmare — excessive hold times, transfers, and ultimately no help. I requested a late checkout (a benefit usually granted to elite guests across all major chains) and was told it would cost extra. No waivers. No exceptions. Mind you, the hotel was clearly far from full that weekend. Two Major Problems: The STRAT is clearly more interested in nickel-and-diming guests than in offering anything resembling quality service. No wonder it was half-empty during our stay. Best Western's Diamond program is borderline meaningless compared to Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott — even Wyndham shows more loyalty recognition than this. Bottom line: If you're a seasoned traveler or loyal Best Western guest, skip The STRAT. Spend your money somewhere that actually acknowledges your loyalty, provides clean rooms, working AC, and doesn't treat you like an inconvenience.

Would give 5 without Metropolis Parking 21$/day. They charge sometimes double +...employees bla bla bla- just want you to exit to pay an additional 21 bugs and tell you-the'll charge it back! They never did! The STRAT is great. Nice fitness area, great resort, clean rooms,...

Francisco made us laugh but at the same time took care of a serious issue that arose leaving us happy with smiles all around. Thank you sir! We were NEVER going to go to the Statesphere again but Francisco at front desk changed that for us.

Room for improvement!! The location is cool and the strip bus stops right at the hotel!! There's a $5 breakfast spot that you can't beat. We reserved the newly renovated room. They did not answer the phone multiple times over a few days when the 3rd party tried to add my guest yo the reservation. The manager Shy* was unpleasant and not professional. She told me nobody called like she's the only person answering every call 24 hrs a day. The property could use some TLC. Nothing about the room was new. The fitness center was neglected. The water cooler had an empty bottle. The only spot opened late was the McDonald's & it was unorganized, dirty, and took forever. When my friend went to the social hour at the pool it was closed.

I love coming to the Strat hotel. The customer service is excellent. I had been out all night & management was kind enough to let me check in early (around 7am. The rooms was nice with a great view, comfy pillows, clean and spacious. I ate at Strat Cafe and Julissa B. helped me and was warm was a guest favorite at the café. The food was delicious, hot and the prices were reasonable. I won some money with my freeway and it was an overall great trip. I always am excited look forward to my time at the Strat Hotel and would highly recommend a stay here. You won't be disappointed.

My experience staying at the Strat hotel was terrible. I stayed there from 07/25- 07/27 and my check in experience was the worst I've ever had. I let front desk know that I would be checking in later than expected on 07/25 and they informed me they would notate it in my file. Once I checked in they told me the classic room I booked was sold out and they only have the upgraded room available which I would have to pay a fee for. I went to the room which was supposed to be upgraded and it smelled like there was mold in the room and the fan was on full blast, I went back to the front desk to inform them they mentioned housekeeping will be able to deodorize it. I asked for them to waive the upgrade fee they said they wouldn't and can only waive one night of resort fee for the inconvenience. I told them there was no way I'm staying in a room that could potentially have mold in it at this point I'm ready to sleep in my car and asked for my refund for my stay and they said the best they could do is put me on the smoking side. I have asthma and let them I don't know how I will do they refused to honor my request to refund my stay, so I was stuck paying for an upgrade fee for a room that was a hazard to my health . At this point it's 1 in the morning front desk reps keep going to the back to communicate my concerns to the supervisor on duty. Why isn't the supervisor addressing the issue with me personally. I'm spending my money at this hotel and I feel like I was treated like crap. I tried calling the hotel to address my issues to management and I was told I was going to get a call back and never did.This was not okay and I will never ever stay at this hotel ever again!

The room was lowkey buns and then it got even worse because the smell of human feces over came the entire building. The rooms, the casino, the lobby. Everything. POO POO CASINO.☹️

I recently had the misfortune of staying at The Strat with my son's basketball team. The room was dark and smelled like mildew. I still decided to walk the property to give it a chance. The pool is renovated, and the gym is small but enough for a four-day trip. I then asked to switch rooms, and was told they don't switch rooms once you've checked in. I said the room was a health hazard and was told they didn't know if other rooms would be available, (Thursday check-in.) I then asked to cancel the reservation due to health concerns and was told that they don't do same day cancelations, and I should come back the following morning. At this point, I was getting upset and asked to speak to the manager. I waited for forty minutes to speak with the manager, Francisco, because there were a lot of people with issues, apparently. He began to argue with me about the status of the room. Arguing is the last thing I want to do on vacation. After some back and forth he told me that they I can check out of the room and wait in the lobby to see if a room becomes available. At this point I had enough and requested a refund. He told me the hotel had a policy where you need to pay the first night's rate and because I was cancelling, I was subject to the policy. I read through the policy and reminded him that the money I gave him was green and I expected a decent product in return, it was The Strat that didn't hold up their end of the policy. I proceeded to check out and went to Mandalay Bay which was a world of difference. I checked my statement today and of course The Strat charged me for the entire stay. The billing department is a voicemail. I understand the rate is cheap, but you're surrounded by abandoned buildings, meth heads and it doesn't feel like Vegas. I'd recommend Tresure Island if you're on a budget and it's centrally located.

Dave at PT Wings and Sport has amazing customer service! We enjoyed our dining experience. This hotel offers $25 dining credit vouchers per day for stay and we really enjoyed the food here! Will definitely come back!

Well I was disappointed with my stay at Strat but what can you expect with no resort fees $25 room credit and two $38 tickets to go up the viewing Tower Lounge. What an amazing view it is. Check in was smooth but they have increased the incidental deposit to $75 per night but only stayed one night so it was no big deal. The room is very dated and not that clean in my opinion. The Panasonic TV is small and old fashioned and looks like it came from Noah's Ark. I asked for a medical fridge for my diabetes medication twice but none ever came. The safe batteries were flat. The WiFi didn't work and even though the TV had YouTube the WiFi was too slow to watch it. I am very happy I only stayed at the property for one night. The area where the hotel is very dangerous with drug dealers at every corner, especially at night. There is danger at every corner. Even though check out is 11am the maid knocked on my door at 8:30am, 9:15am asking when I was leaving. I couldn't recommend this hotel and casino. I checked out early as couldn't wait to leave and move to my next hotel. If you're on a budget then this hotel will meet your needs but for me I was looking for more than just a bed to sleep in. The view from the viewing lounge I really enjoyed.

Zach was a fantastic concierge. Very accommodating for our large group, and was able to get us all together. For whatever reason I have to have a minimum of 100 characters, so I will continue to glaze up Zach. We love Zach, he is our king. Super chill vibes. I would trust Zach with my drink. I feel like Zach would tell you that you have something in your teeth in a very respectful way.

While The Strat may appear budget-friendly at first glance, the experience falls well short of expectations and poor value for money. Room Quality Issues My room was in unacceptable condition upon arrival. The bathroom was dirty, the bed appeared to have been slept in without fresh linens, and the sheets had visible tears. These basic cleanliness and maintenance standards were simply not met. Hotel Atmosphere & Amenities The hotel caters to a family demographic with many children present, which may not align with what most visitors expect from a Las Vegas experience. The overall quality and upkeep of the property feels dated and neglected. Location Drawbacks The Strat's location is problematic for several reasons: • Limited walkable dining options, leaving guests dependent on overpriced casino restaurants or ride-share services • The surrounding neighborhood feels unsafe for pedestrians • Inconvenient distance from both The Strip and downtown Las Vegas Save yourself the frustration and book accommodations downtown instead. The apparent savings aren't worth the subpar experience, poor location, and additional costs you'll incur for transportation and dining.

I left my watch and ring there and Jessica Le was so amazing in finding it and mailing it to me. Honestly is the best policy and they go about it 100%.

We just finished up a weekend trip at the Strat. I would like to send a shout-out about 2 employees that were exceptional. First, Julisa at the front desk/ reservation. Second, Roger the casino host. Both were personable and a pleasure to speak with. Their service level was superior and we really appreciated it! We stayed the weekend in the Vegas tower, played the slots and ate in the Strat Cafe. The room was small, but very nice. It is a non-smoking tower and is well kept. The slots seemed to be tighter. Our entire group did not win, not even a small win. The Strat Cafe is good in a pinch, but otherwise I would skip it.

My wife and I stayed one night in this hotel. Its location is average, between the Strip and downtown. Checking in and out was fast and professional. The hotel is very busy , mainly a casino with a good ambience. Rooms and amenities were OK. There are some good shops in 5 min. walking distance, but nothing more. I used my points to pay. Next time I will stay in the middle of the Strip I suppose.

I love this hotel. It's one of my favorites whenever I stay in Vegas. I came into town last minute after seeing Jennifer Hudson was doing a Christmas concert. I booked this hotel on Vegas.com and it was reasonably priced. The restaurants onsite and entertainment options are great.

Anya at McCalls was wonderful. She was so accommodating and fun. Would come back and request her as the food and her service was impeccable.

My experience was very lovely. Francisco the check-in supervisor was amazing. I had a small issue but he promptly fixed it. The casino staff was amazing the restaurants were amazing. Overall, I can honestly say my trip was out of this world. I wouldn't change a thing. I look forward to coming back to Vegas and staying at the strat.

So we made a reservation through Prestigia.com that I do not recommend at all. Even if they showed to have the lowest rate their customer service is terrible. We made a typo in our reservation checking in date, I spent the whole weekend trying to get in touch with them to fix it before arriving to the hotel. Phone, email, chat nothing worked. I called the Strat and they told me they couldn't do anything sine I had used third party agency. Long story short we arrived the day of and we had been already charged for the night of the wrong date. Upon our arrival we met with Todd from Strat and he took care of our reservation. He managed to cancel the original reservation and run a new one. He also credit us for the ran charges from the original reservation. He was patient, very understanding and considerate. He made a whole difference on how we initiated our stay here in Vegas. Thank you very much Todd

I stayed at The STRAT for two nights and, overall, I wouldn't return. There were a few decent moments, but too many issues stacked up for me to recommend it. Room: I paid $60 for a room upgrade, which turned out to be a view of the side of the building—not exactly worth the extra cost. The room itself was clean and had a coffee maker, which was a plus, but the amenities didn't function well. The shower had weak water pressure and never got fully hot, and the sink kept backing up. For the price and upgrade fee, I expected better. Dining: The Café had decent food and, more importantly, excellent service. Our server Gabriel was incredibly friendly and attentive—honestly the best staff member I encountered during the entire stay. We also ate at PT's Wings and Sports. Service there was slow, and the food was hit or miss. The pizza was more like a flatbread with cheap-tasting pepperoni and bland sauce—not great. But the short rib fries were excellent and ended up being the highlight of that meal. Dining late at night was also a challenge. Most places close by 11pm, so our only option the first night was McDonald's inside the hotel. Pool: The pool experience was pretty rough. It was crowded with unsupervised kids loudly cannonballing into the water while lifeguards and parents just ignored it. Most lounge chairs were covered in trash and used towels when we arrived. We were only in the pool about 40 minutes before a lifeguard removed our towels—even though our belongings were still right there. With our phones left out in the open, we decided to just cut the visit short. It felt more chaotic than relaxing. Other Notes: The parking check-in process takes place via your phone in the garage, which was clunky and impersonal. I also got four text messages asking for my credit card info before I even unpacked, and the tone of each one got increasingly aggressive. It didn't exactly set a welcoming tone. On top of that, there are aggressive timeshare salespeople posted up near the elevators every day, which got old fast. The Essentials gift shop doesn't display prices on anything, which is a red flag on its own. When I got to the counter, I was charged $6 for a 20oz Pepsi and $12.99 for a tall can of hard seltzer—steep even by Vegas standards. We also visited the observation deck just before sunset—amazing view, but the area was packed, and people kept stepping in front of our table at the bar. The resort itself is in a rough neighborhood, and there's nothing walkable nearby. You'll be relying on rideshares or your car (and yes, parking is $20 a day on top of the resort fee). Overall: While there were a few bright spots—mainly Gabriel at the Café and those short rib fries—there was too much frustration to overlook. Between the extra charges, poor maintenance, underwhelming service, and uncomfortable atmosphere, The STRAT just didn't deliver a relaxing or enjoyable stay. I won't be booking here again.

Terry Raske 1/5 just now on Google We stayed here recently for our 25 year Anniversary. We paid Extra to get a sweet with a king bedroom. Unfortunately our 2nd night here while we were getting ready to head out to check out the Blue man group. Our ceiling began to leak in the bathroom first then our bedroom and on much of our clothes luggage. We immediately called down to the front desk. I was told that they didn't have the suite i booked but they were going to move me to another suite. I was informed by the front desk that they would send a bell hop up with our keys to our new room and help us move our stuff. The bell hop was very nice and helpful but when we got to the new room the cleaning lady was in the middle of cleaning and did not know we were coming. She would not let us in on top of that the room wasn't even a suite. The bell hop called the front desk and got us another room which he did not have the keys for but said he would let us in and we could go to the front desk and get our keys when we got back from the blue man group as we were now running late to the show. He said we did not have to wait in line but to just go up to the desk. The new room was a suite but it was much smaller than the original room we booked and only had a queen bed. Due to the inconvenience we ended up being 30 minutes late to our show. When we got back we were extremely tired and the line was extremely long to check in. I went up to talk to the front desk to explain to them what happened and that i was told not to wait in line but to go up and they would give me the keys to my room. The front desk asked who told me that. After I told her she said I would have yo wait in line. So I asked to speak to a manager. I then talked to a supervisor who told me that she would give me the keys but I should of waited in line. Basically I did not end up with the room I paid for, I missed out on a show that I paid for, hours of my time was wasted and taken from me, no one ever apologized to me instead I was treated like an inconvenience. I will say I have been to vegas about 10 times now and this was definitely the worst experience we have ever had not only in vegas but ever. The Strat just simply does not give or provide good service rather you are treated as an inconvenience. The rest of our stay was like a black cloud was hovering over us. We never received new towls our coffee in our new room which we were in for 3 nights. I guess I can only blame myself for choosing to stay here after seeing other videos and reviews complaining of the service. Dont make the same mistake I made.

We stayed at The Strat with greater expectations. The first encounter in the parking ramp and finding out that it's $20.00 per day caught us off guard with a not so straight forward guidance regarding how to sign up and pay for parking. The required steps to use the parking app were confusing which impacted our overall experience requiring an email direct to the parking vendor to stop the on-going charges which continued after arriving back home halfway across the country. It is surprising that a hotel of this supposed caliber has a parking ramp that is filthy. We saw used tampons, garbage and other debris all over the ramp. Don't charge guests to park their cars in this dirty environment. The hotel room accommodations were relatively decent, however the sink drain in the bathroom had a strong sewer gas and sulfur odor, it was disgusting.

Went to the Chi Restaurant. The food and staff were excellent and highly recommended! Connie, the manager was super friendly as well as the rest of the staff! You don't get this kind of service any where else! The experience was so amazing we ate there the whole week! They have a great menu and specials! Will definitely be going there again! never felt so nickel and dimed as i did staying at this place. the "amenities" are a joke. were any of the restaurants open consistently? no. hope you like mcdonald's where exactly one employee works (whom i felt sorry for!!) and does not offer water to its patrons. were my partner and i constantly hounded by grifting "hey are you staying here tomorrow?? let me waste your time with meaningless vouchers" employees, one older woman who literally SCREAMED at us? yes. was the hotel staff (except for the woman at check in) incredibly rude and flippant when presented with normal questions such as when we asked the concierge, at around 2:30pm, when will this restaurant that says it opens at 2pm actually open? yes. do you have to pay FORTY dollars to even see the view they endlessly advertise, even if you stay at the hotel? yes. does the wifi work? nope! but you can pay $10/day if you'd like to upgrade it. unreal. if you're not a gaggle of falling down drunk girls at the hotel pool for a bachelorette party on a sunday morning will you be ceremoniously and continually ignored by waitstaff and then have multiple bartenders be rude to you? you bet. what the holy hell is the resort fee for (which was over $150 for our stay) if nothing is open?? what a complete ripoff. some of the onsite restaurants are not even open most days of the week, not to mention the grimy bathroom and the paper thin walls. covid was rough on vegas, we know, but this was equal parts insulting, unbelievable and egregious. do not stay here.

Came to see The Terry Fator show. Ate a fun dinner at PT's Wings & Sports, side trip to indoor observatory and finally to our fabulous show in The Strat Theatre to see Terry Fator. We took my 80 something year old parents and The Strat Theater took great care of us. We had a really great time.

Our visit to The STRAT in Las Vegas was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything ran smoothly—thanks in large part to John's incredible coordination. He really went above and beyond, making sure our large group had clear directions and everything we needed, which made getting to the restaurant a breeze. The venue itself is stunning, with incredible views that added a wow factor to the whole evening. The staff were friendly, professional, and took great care of us the entire time. I left genuinely impressed and already looking forward to my next visit. If you're heading to Vegas and want a top-notch spot, I highly recommend checking out The STRAT.

During a recent two-night stay at the STRAT Hotel, Casino, and Tower, I was concerned by the large amount of plastic waste that is generated at the facility. Every meal and beverage I had at the restaurants and bars was served in plastic cups and on plastic dishes, and all the utensils were plastic. In addition, when I ordered a late night meal at a bar in the casino, it arrived in a plastic bag. There was also a good deal of plastic wrapping in my room. I sent an email (to [email protected]) after my stay inquiring (1) what, if any, plastic waste from the STRAT is collected for recycling and how is it recycled and (2) what method of disposal is utilized for other plastic waste. I have not yet received a reply although it's been close to three weeks. Care for the environment is an important value to me and a hotel's environmental impact is a major factor in getting my business.

Great hotel for the money you pay. Front desk was very helpful. Araceli provided exceptional service. Ask to stay in the new remodeled building for better experience. You'll find some nice restaurants in the casino area. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel.

I was staying across the Boulevard at the Hilton. I thought there prices were high, $24 dollars for a whisky sour double. So I walk to the Stratosphere go into the bar and order the same Whisky Sour Double I ordered at the Hilton. I could not believe it this lady bartender charged me $32 dollars and the drink was dark, no tropical look to it at all looked more like a Jack and Coke. But $32 dollars I paid and should have thrown the drink out right there. Instead I drank it and next morning was sick as a dog. For that matter all day and I am back home in Los Angeles May 31, 2025 and still feeling sick. This place has really gone down hill. The inside looked like a "Low Budget Horror Movie" Could not believe it. Last time I went in there I guess before the Pandemic the place was nice. I would not recommend this place, it is a "Dive!" If you want to get sick okay but as for me I will never go inside this Casino. I wanted to give a one star but Sentimental Value, and good memories forced me to give it a 2 star. I am hoping management can bring this place back.

We stayed at the Strat for Memorial Day Weekend. Talk about exceptional service. Victor greeted with a smile and was more than helpful with the self check in experience. 10/10 for all families. There was something to do for everyone. My youngest enjoyed the LED Show while my oldest was on the roof on the roller coaster.

Where do I start, the smell from the water is unbearable, one of my rooms had a strong odor like old eggs I reported it and nothing was done about it!! Upon check in you have additional fees I've paid a total of $395 for each room was not expecting that!!They also say it's family friendly but it's not I took my family my son and daughter is 18 just graduated from high school. I wanted to stay at the Strat intentionally because of the attraction at the top which would give them something to do for a few days outside of the other things we've had planned! You have to pay even if you stay there also one of the rides were closed and the sky jump and the drop had closed early they said due to being short staffed when I saw six employees on duty doing nothing which was so irritating. My kids couldn't even stand or sit in certain areas because they were not (21) so basically if you're staying there with anyone under the age of (21) you need to go from the room straight out the door!! We ate at the restaurant food was warm nothing was hot in fresh and if you don't eat it all just throw it in the garbage or take it outdoors to feed the homeless no microwave to heat up leftovers!! Oan It was too many dogs OMG just too damn many dogs in strollers, on walkers, sitting next to you at the slots in the restaurants It was just too much!! The ppl that hound you to sign up for fake free stuff to get you to do a time share it was a headache!! Will never go back there.

I stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel in May 2025 while visiting Las Vegas for work. I booked through a third-party platform and received a confirmed total of $282.65, which included all taxes and resort fees. That is the amount I agreed to pay—and I am fully willing to pay it. Instead, the hotel charged me $566.72, citing an unauthorized $396.83 smoking fee and additional unexplained resort charges. Let me be very clear: I do not smoke. I have never smoked. I was in Las Vegas for work and was rarely at the property. I stayed in my room for a single day—because I was sick. I received a $0.00 balance at checkout and no one ever informed me of any issue. The hotel provided no proof, no photos, no inspection records, no signed disclosures—nothing. Because there is none. This is a manufactured charge designed to extract more money from unsuspecting guests. I filed a dispute with my credit card company for the $284.07 I was overcharged. I submitted: My original booking showing the confirmed rate The final bill showing the fraudulent fee The $0.00 checkout receipt My Capital One transaction record Even with complete documentation, Capital One sided with the hotel, claiming I didn't provide what was needed—without requiring the hotel to provide a single shred of evidence. After being ignored by Stratosphere management, I researched further and found dozens of other guests have experienced this exact same scam—especially those who booked through third-party sites. It's a known tactic: the hotel charges a false smoking fee after checkout, hoping guests won't fight it or will get lost in bureaucracy. Let me be very clear: This is predatory. This is deceptive. This is fraud. I will be escalating this matter to Golden Entertainment, the company that owns and profits from the Stratosphere. And I will also be contacting the City Manager's Office of Las Vegas to report this as a systemic issue of consumer abuse. No guest deserves to be treated this way. No business should be allowed to operate like this without consequences. If I do not receive a proper resolution, I will not stop here. Elvira in the casino as an attendant, was so very very kind about all concerns… about really anything!!! This hotel is really great! Just see for yourself. Rooms are renoed. If you're a smoker, there's a smoking floor. The waitresses were amazing! A shoutout to Melissa, Michelle, Andrea, Pam, and so many more. You'll see!

The good is that you can get an updated, be it small in size room at the Strat at a very reasonable rate. During the week including the resort fee you can stay at the Strat for $65-70. The bad is the location. If you do stay at the Strat you are far from everything on the strip. While you might make the long walk during the day this is an area you do not want to be walking around outside after dark. Additionally, staying here really does limit you. If you dine in the resort the cheap options are basically to a McDonald's as the others were all closed during our visit. I did not mind the room stay at the Strat, the ride share fees we paid each day made it more expensive then if we would have paid more per day at another resort more centralized on the Las Vegas strip. We will not stay here for that reason in the future.

Enjoyed the observation deck you got plenty of time to actually go to top and down for several hours time frame, great view of Los Vegas went while daylight hours could havereturnedat night to see thelights. Also enjoyed a show while we were there. Lots of shops within the Strat.

The rooms are updated. I did have a few issues with a couple of rooms but the front desk took care of it. The location of the hotel is at the end of the strip. Jay Carter the bartender drinks and personality was great! He made sure our drinks was on point.

arrived to be met by a hard sell by your show staff as soon as we walked through the door. We hadn't even checked in yet. Then to check in. I paid for a king size elevated bed inside a newly renovated room. This was not what I got. I was told quiet rudely my your night staff the room wasn't available and I would have to the room I was given. The room was old and very worn out. The carpets alone were so worn out. The room had 2 twin beds and decorative not to a high standard. The room was not nearly refurbished !! Were asked to be moved to the room we had paid for the next day but this didn't happen. The room we got was better the first but not what I had paid for. I wanted to check out and find another hotel to stay in for the rest of our trip. My partner convinced me to stay there and complain when we got home. We also paid a huge deposit which nobody told us about. We were told it is returned upon check out. It wasn't. This is not acceptable and if this isn't sorted then I will raise it with the credit card company and get a charge back for outstanding balance after resort fees have been taken. We weren't even told about the tariffs by the check in staff. This can be checked via your cctv system to verify any thing I am saying. This trip was meant to be a highlight for me as I have just been through stage 4 cancer and this was a celebration for me and my partner getting though it. So unfortunately while we probably will be back to Las Vegas we will not be staying in your hotel.

If I could give this hotel less than 1 star then I would. We will never stay here again and I will post this review on as many travel sites as possible. We notice charges on my credit card mid way through our stay from the hotel. Called to ask what they were and were told we had been charged a smoking fee. My partner and I don't smoke and never smoked in the room. The only thing I used was my hair dryer that morning. The manager at the desk told me that the hairdryer can set the sensor off and record as smoke. I asked how this is fair and how we can prove that we didn't smoke and was told we couldn't. Our word against theirs. He told me that because I used my own hairdryer and not the hotel provided one then it could've set the sensor off. So we get charged $400 because I used my hairdryer?! Total crooks. On top of this, the room above us was leaking into our bathroom and water was coming out the wall vent so we had to change rooms. Don't come here unless you want to pay $400 for doing absolutely nothing wrong.

My friends and me went to the resturant „Mc Call‘s Heartland Grill! The food and the atmosphere was very good and we had with Anya one of the nicest waitress in Vegas. So, we had a very pleasant time and we can recommend this restaurant. We‘ll come back the next time we‘re in Vegas!

The hotel and casino had all the amenities you expect from a Las Vegas casino. However, what I would like to point out is the helpfulness and the friendliness of the staff. Especially the bartender Katie Perry. She explained me the best ways to navigate the city and what to do, as a foreign tourist this was extremely helpful and this experience alone is worth a recommendation for this hotel.

Toilet paper, skin flakes, and loose hair in the pool, no compensation and outrageous resort fees, hidden contracts keeping you obliged to stay your full stay, or you won't be refunded, rude staff, barely qualified, and have no clue what their talking about, will tell you to wait in line when their isn't one, and will send security to your room when you are showering, to compensate 760$ loss they gave us tickets valued at under 200$, might as well stay at the claridge in Atlantic City, if I could -10/10 this place sucks.

We've only been here about 4 hours and I don't like it! Our room is one of the refurbished rooms in the North tower on the 19th floor, as soon as we walked into the room it has an odour, a stale smell. There is also a coffee machine in the room and the coffee is awful, very cheap and nasty. The room is small, hot and claustrophobic. Would not recommend the Strat.

had such a great experience thanks to bartender Jay! Not only was he friendly and attentive, but he went above and beyond by crafting a special drink just for me when I mentioned I had an upset stomach. It was thoughtful, refreshing, and actually helped settle my stomach—something I really appreciated. Jay's knowledge, creativity, and genuine care made the night so much better. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and letting him take care of you! Please change the music, it was making me feel sleepy.

I had to cancel my reservation because the friend I was going with is severely ill, and their cancellation policy is the vaguest I've ever seen. “Guarantee/Deposit and Change/Cancellation Fees will depend on selected dates and room/rate combination.” Every hotel I have ever stayed in my life has a reasonable cancellation policy. Not The Strat. $174 later and we gave them more than 2 weeks notice. Sickening on top of the sickness. When we do get to Vegas we surely won't step foot in The Strat.

The staff at check in were friendly and polite. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and I was able to get a good night sleep! I heard no noise in the halls. Went to 2 shows and didn't have to leave the hotel. I loved the walk-in shower, I hate climbing over the side of a tub.

Its a good 3star hotel and we got a week for $600 DURING Wrestlemania which made the weekend busy. The good: The restaurant at the top of the world was INCREDIBLE. 10/10 amazing food and the view is undeniable. The meh: Its the top of the strip so its a treck to other “strip activities”. The bad: I hated the towels and the pool was freezing. Food was typical strip prices and so were drinks. If you stay here don't wander behind the hotel cause thats an area called “Naked City” my friend who lives nearby told me. My bf found a good pool hall nearby with his cousin called Mint. Its not the nicest area but cheap food so, you win some you lose some. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would come back.

The room was very dated and dirty, too far away from the strip, DONT STAY HERE. Paid for late check out but we were then told it was on available on the day of check out and had to leave at 11am instead of 3pm then wanted money to store our luggage for few hours. DONT STAY HERE

In Vegas on vacation devided to try out the Chi Asian Kitchenon our 3rd night. Marija our server was great. Very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. Portions are huge and very filling. We will be back. Thank you Marija for your great personality and service.

Probably a friendliest and most accommodating staff and all of Vegas. Have been coming here for years and every time it feels like home. The only downside at this property is the restaurants. Especially since they decided to remove more items off the menu you are very limited on what you can eat here. That is a big downside to this property unfortunately because everything else is excellent. The VIP staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Maryann and Leo were our servers at the restaurant CHI Asian Cuisine! They were an amazing team ! The food and the entire atmosphere was outstanding! We have been there 2 time previously on other trips and it is our favorite and most highly recommended dining experience! THANK YOU…

We had an amazing waiter who kept coming by to see if we needed anything, she was sweet, kind and quick please give Brenda Martin a raise, she deserves it, we adored her and we hope to see her again next time we're back in Vegas as we are in California back home.?

Great first experience at The Strat. Tameka at the True Rewards desk was amazing! Got us set up with True Rewards card. Plus a huge help to us both times we came back with questions. Informative and personable. Could not have asked for a better experience with her!

I'm from Illinois and staying at The Strat Hotel and both days I've been here I've went upstairs to Nunzios to grab some pizza. They're good and pretty big. Also, Terry is one of the friendliest and sweetest person who took my order. It makes traveling so worth it when you're greeted by friendly staff. Make sure if you visit the The Strat to come up and say hi to Terry and grab you a big slice of pizza.

I was helped by tameka she was very friendly and nice. She definitely made the expirence better. She helped me get a players card and was very good at explaining everything and making everything fun and enjoyable. She even waited and made sure my name would pop up in the machine.

I initially booked a stay for five nights but opted to shorten my visit to two nights upon check-in. Matthew, the manager who assisted me, informed me that all I needed to do was check out before 10 AM, which I did. He assured me that I would receive a refund for the remaining three nights. However, it seems that no one is taking this issue seriously, and that is disgusting and a scam. I would urge everyone not to attempt to book this hotel. Customer service is horrible.

Decent stay but does need some updates. Main thing is the towels in bathroom and swimming pool need updating. They were paper thin. Check in was fast but couldn't get into our standard room early. But they were willing to let us upgrade for a fee and get in early.

We had a minor problem with our room and Cesar was able to fix it for us and gave us a $50 food credit. It was my 6th time staying there and can't wait to go back and stay there again. Def will he back soon. The pool remodel looks great and service is great

We were charged an extra $600 on checkin we had already paid up so didn't understand they just said it's because we are a resort ,.... We got half back when checked out .this was our 3rd time in Vegas and it will our last the rides were not working and the pool wasn't open so resort ??? Then they hassle you to go to another hotel for 2 hrs to watch a video about timeshare for reduced tickets .every time we passed them we were there for 10 days . The hotel room was disgusting and shabby and outdated no kettles allowed as they want you to keep going downstairs to buy coffee so we got a kettle . We had stayed at treasure Island before it was fab . Do yourself a favour and DO NOT STAY HERE . Things to do see the canyon not the skywalk big con do the north rim it's stunning and hoover dam , lots of other fun things apart from enjoying the pool and rides .

I spent five nights at this hotel in a none smoking room. During checkout I was told that I had to pay a smoking fee because smoke was detected in the room. I do not smoke at all. The total of the fee was $396.00 dollars. I know for sure I spent about 2500 in the casino. I told the staff they can go inspect the room or ask housekeeping if they ever smelled any smoke when they cleaned the room every day, they will not smell any smoke because I do not smoke. I was giving a printout of a smoke reading from the room and it did not even have my room number on it nowhere. I do not appreciate the lies and hidden fees. I will never stay here again.

Service was fantastic especially Brenda M serving the drinks on the casino floor. The slot machines were fun and the slot tournament was the highlight of my trip. Going to tell everyone The Strat is not only a great guitar made by Fender. Classy place. Food was amazing too

Victor, our front desk staff was lovely. Beds were hard, offered us " renovated" area for more money. Wall paper coming off walls, ceiling stained, carpet fraying. Restaurants often were not open when stated were. Pool not open, when we had booked wanting a pool. Staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful.

We went in Las Vegas in March 2025. We stay at Strat hotel. It is good location, close to Main Street and you can see a big tower from a long distance. We loved restaurant Chi in Strat hotel. Tasty health Asian food, pleasant atmosphere, they have a big round table for a big company.

My husband's first trip to Vegas and they treated us great! Kejdi was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Our room was so clean and had a great view of the strip. The view from top is incredible with the 360 view. Kejdi really set us up for an amazing weekend.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds for my 50th and my lads 21st. We arrived late in the evening (9pm). Upon arrival the chap was rude and dismissive. No acknowledgement of our special celebrations! Then proceed to tell us we had to pay an extra $100 for a none smoking room as the one they had for us was a smoking room. Alternatively we could share a king size bed. Also advised that we did not have to pay for parking on arrival then charged and additional $40!! We were charged nearly £500 for 2 nights at the Start and felt very unwelcome. Still awaiting a response to my email. Poor customer service and poor communication.

MaryAnn was very wonderful. She helped us choose good and delicious plates. Big portion and good prices. They have two differenttype of hot sauce, both very good but i recommend the chili oil. ..................................................................................

Bartender made us feel at home. Very good service. Connects with us in our hometown origins and made connections between his life and ours and made us feel like we could really connect with him and continue to hang out at the bar and gamble more.

Victor was very good. He was extremely pleasant. Our check-in was quick and effortless. Victor did not speak 90 miles/hour. He explained everything in detail. For his great attitude and mannerisms, Victor deserves two weeks off with pay.

I honestly wouldn't recommend visiting this place. It was a complete waste of money. We had to pay an outrageous £70 just to go up to the top of the tower, which felt like an absolute rip-off, even hotel guests have to pay to visit the top at a discounted rate. The drinks were overpriced, and to top it off, the rides that I was really looking forward to were closed during our visit. It was frustrating to spend so much money and not get to experience everything I had hoped for. I definitely wouldn't waste either my money or my time on this place again.

Good points: tower, has amazing view of all of Vegas, room has a fridge, cafe has wide range for breakfast. The bad: booked for 5 nights renovated room. 1. They have this complicated parking system which you have to register a credit card & car. When I checked in & asked male receptionist questions about the parking, he seemed frustrated & basically gave me my swipe keys and credit card details. 2. Booked renovated twin room, what a lie… looks nothing like the photo, floor was dirty, small window, there was holes in the bed sheet & areas that weren't wiped properly. 3. Stayed for 5 nights and the room wasn't cleaned once, I had to call housekeeping on the 3rd night asking for towels and change rubbish bins. This is the only hotel in the US that I refuse to tip housekeeping. 4. The barista at Starbucks needs to go to coffee school, asked for chai latte and paid for a chai latte and was given a flat white, on two occasions. The coffee is awful. 5. When I arrived with three large suitcases cases no one bothered to ask or assist me nor my elderly mother with our bags, they were more concern on signing up on concert tickets/vouchers etc. 6. I was aware of the parking charges which were $56.63 per day total of $283.15 US, no issue with this cost but I noticed there was parking fee of $160 US from Chicago parking, my bank informed me that the company was associated with STRAT parking. I have chased up via phone, email, voice message and yet nothing from the Strat hotel. 7. Had the sign “do not disturbed on my door at 4pm Friday afternoon, the male housekeeping knocked on our door stating it was “well fair check” how bizarre after 2says?!. I picked this hotel due to tv show review called “travel guides” , I will be back to Vegas in 6 months with friends & family but will not recommend the Strat. The photo on bookings look nothing like the real thing, I was too embarrassed to take photo. Attach fake room pic from bookings & I have every intention of pursuing my refund of $160US and will lodge formal complaint

Had beers and a pizza at the view bar to watch the Lakers game on st. Patrick's day. Our bartender Anthony Moreno was taking care of us and made some great recommendations. The carnivore pizza was really good and the shrimp po boy is a must order. Will definitely come back.

We stopped at the pts wing and sports place inside the strat hotel in las vegas to try it and the food our server recommended was delicious and it did feed all 3 of us cuz hiw big the portion was. Our server Brandon tonight did an amazing job and was very polite

I visited Vegas for spring break. I booked 2 rooms in this hotel as part of a vacation package through an airline. I upgraded the rooms since it was offered at the front desk. The front desk stated that the rooms were renovated and better equipped. Pros: The hotel has many restaurants to choose from. There's a Walgreens, Ihop, and many other venues around. Spacious rooms. The Strat has inexpensive valet parking, attractions for the family, and friendly front desk staff. The renovated rooms are very spacious and quiet on the top floors. The A/C works perfectly fine in both rooms (a little noisy). Cons: The hotel is away from the newer hotels and main attractions. Rooms were dirty with speckles of dry toothpaste on the walls and counter, which tells me that they only clean the mirror in the bathroom. Walk around for a few minutes on my new white socks and they turned brown. I don't think anyone checks the rooms for cleanliness. Staff: The front desk and valet are very friendly people. The cafe staff was not so much friendly which was the deciding factor to write this review. Overall the hotel has the potential to do better if they fix their housekeeping issues and customer service. Renovations are nothing if the management and staff don't take care of the property or improve their customer relations.

I went out to see one of the shows at the Strat with one of my friends and everyone was kind and gave top notch service. One waitress from Chi, however, went miles above and beyond when it came to giving us amazing service and making us feel welcome in their restaurant.

Purchased tickets for a show and they were cancelled unbeknownst to us. Jamison in the box office was so exceptionally kind to assist me. He was amazing and we had a great time, all due to his efforts. Thank you Jamison/Strat is lucky u r there.

I would avoid at all costs! Staying here is not worth the headache caused by poor customer service and misleading fees, despite some well renovated guest rooms. In short, a colleague and I booked rooms at the Strat as an affordable offsite location for a conference (based on a list price of $250 for 3 nights). When I checked in, the desk attendant was kind enough to explain the no smoking policy and the use of sensors to detect smoking and or vaping ( no problem here as a non-smoker who is frequently annoyed when they can smell vape residue in a non smoking room). I did not expect that their "special smoke detection sensors" would be the source of a $400 headache in the form of a surprise fee from steaming my suit!!!!! Of course, the attendant who checked me out conveniently forgot to send me a PDF folio with the expenses of my stay as I requested. Upon a follow-up a couple weeks later you can imagine my surprise when I found an additional $400 charge on my stay. Given that multiple weeks between my stay and when I received a copy of the folio, I had no way to actually contest the charges and show I did not smoke in the room which I would have addressed immediately on site and the customer service via phone was beyond callous. In short I feel quite mislead and disappointed that the Strat appears to be more interested in pocketing a quick $400 from customers for inaccurate charges than attracting recurring business. Stay elsewhere!!

Brandon at self-check in was amazing. He heard me talk about my son's asthma and moved us into a non-smoking room even though the 3rd party we booked with put us in a smoking room without notifying me. He helped us all the way and got us checked in quickly. If you are using self-check in, look for Brandon as he is very helpful.

We went to the CHI Asian Kitchen Restaurant. The food was delicious , we ordered Peking duck Fried Rice, orange chicken and salt and pepper calamari! It was my boyfriend's birthday and they made it a special night, thanks to Marija for her kind attention and dedication!

At one end of the Strip - where dancing girls statue is. Seen from fsr away due to tower Strat. A lot of gambling in big lobby, also sport gambling. Room ok, nothing special. Would need some renovation. No breakfast, but some (not cheap) options in hotel (diner, Mcdonalds, pub, grill, Chinese...). Hotel has also tower with a restaurant, amuzement park and bungee jumping from the tower. Also comedy club.

We ate at Nunzios in the Strat, went back MULTIPLE times! Not only was the pizza and garlic knots to die for, but the service Terry provided was above and beyond. She remembered us, was so kind and it was always nice to see her while picking up our pizza orders! Terry at Nunzios is absolutely the best!

Staying at the Strat was a very memorable and a great time. The staff in the casino are so friendly and make it so much fun. We had such a great few days gambling and talking with the staff. Some of them that I will remember because they made it fun and had interesting stories were Rachel, Annabel, Christy and Shawnee. We went to other casinos to gamble and the staff were so dry and had no conversations that we came back each time to the Strat to gamble.

Anya was anazing!! She knew the menu and gave great advice. So friendly but you could tell she was genuinely nice and helpful. She went beyond her quality service . Anya was checking in to make sure my dinner was excellent. I have had many meals in many cities. Anya was truly the best. The food was good as well. I wish I lived lically because I would eat regularly and look forward to Anya's great service!!

I was checking out of my room at the Strat and noticed a $396.83 smoking fee charge on my bill. I don't even smoke and there was no one else in the room at any time but me. I started walking to the front desk to see what this was about. As I left the room the housekeeping supervisor was out in the hall. I brought the housekeeping supervisor into my room and explained the situation. She inspected the room and said that there was not the slightest sign or smell of anybody smoking in the room. I asked her how the charge could get on my bill when no hotel employee has been in my room. The supervisor said that there is a smoke sensor in the room that can be triggered by smoking, vaping or even cooking something in the microwave. I did none of these things in the room! The supervisor profusely apologized for the incident and said she would take care of the false charge. I witnessed her calling the front desk to tell them to remove the smoking fee off of the room. I went down to front desk thinking everything was OK. When I arrived at the front desk, the front desk supervisor, Taria, was adamant about charging me the smoking fee even though I told her about the housekeeping supervisor. Taria kept me waiting there fuming for about 15 minutes. She comes back with some cryptic graph and said that at around 12:00 AM smoke was detected in the room. She also said that I entered the room shortly before that time and put the deadbolt on around 1:00 AM. I did arrive back at my room around 12 AM. I was out of the room for several hours and it was cold in the room so I cranked up the heat a few degrees on the thermostat. When I turned the heat on, I could smell that burnt dust smell that you smell when a heater hasn't been used in a long time. The room smelled in the first place, but not a smoke stench. I also noticed that the heater intake vent had a half inch layer of dust crusted on it. The heater's air filter couldn't have been changed in decades! Disgusting! If anything triggered the smoke sensor, if it really was triggered, it would have been from the heater. The room was filthy too. The refrigerator had half a bottle of vodka and drink mixers and somebody's rotted leftovers inside it. The trash can had trash in it. At first, I thought I was given an occupied room. I also put the deadbolt on at 1:00 AM because I heard loud noises out in the hall including a thud on my hotel door. I went over Taria's head and spoke to Mathew the Central Tower Manager. He basically said the same things that Taria said even though all he had to do was check with the housekeeping supervisor to verify that they were in the wrong. After that I did a little research. If you type in these three words ' Strat smoking charge' on your search engine you will find 100's of smoking fee fraud victims that stayed at the Strat describing the same thing that happened to me on Trip Advisor, Reddit, Yelp, etc.. Credit Card fraud is a very serious crime. The StRAT Hotel is jointly owned by Best Western. I am appalled that the two Best Western customer relations that people I spoke with are not going to investigate the matter when I provided the names of the perpetrators of the crime and the evidence to pin the fraud on them. Instead, they insinuated that I was lying. Also infuriates me that I was called a liar by the criminals that are employed at the Strat. Not to mention I am also a senior citizen which makes the crime even more despicable when seniors are targeted. If I am the CEO of Best Western and I heard that this criminal activity was going on at one of my hotels, I'd be launching an immediate investigation and suspend the employees in question.

My husband and I came to Vegas for our honeymoon. We ate at a pizza place in New York New York, but it was not the best. The pizza place in the Strat was AMAZING. Crust was crunchy and the meatball sandwich was also amazing. I recommend. Terry is also amazing. Go see her and say hello. Get your pizza game on.

The MaCalls Restaurant Was Beyond Good. Great Atmosphere And Outstanding Server Anaya. Would Definitely Come Back Again. 10 Out Of 10. The Food Was Seasoned Well, Great Amount Of Food For The Sides, Even The Bread Was Soft And Buttery. My Waiter Anaya Was Really Attentive And Helped With All Of Our Questions.

We didn't even stay at the Strat but playing there is always a great time. Chadwick was absolutely the best! He has so much charisma and an entertaining bone for days, I don't remember a time where we weren't laughing or smiling. Rachel and Chadwick made us want to play there again before we hit the airport.

When I first started visiting the casino, my experiences weren't always smooth. I had a few issues with my reservations, and things didn't always go as planned. But everything changed once I was assigned a dedicated host (Tom Hauer). From that moment on, my visits have been nothing short of amazing! Tom is absolutely incredible always checking in to ensure I'm satisfied, that everything is going well, and keeping me informed of any event happening. It's clear that he truly cares about providing a top-tier experience, and I always feel valued and taken care of. It's such a relief knowing I have someone looking out for me and handling any issues that come up during my visits. The VIP lounge team has also been fantastic, especially Lesli. She is simply exceptional! Lesli always greets us with a smile and ensures that we are well taken care of from the moment we arrive. Whether it's a drink, a special request, or anything else, she handles it with professionalism and care. If we need anything, she's quick to contact Tom and coordinate with him to meet our needs. It's always such a pleasant feeling to see her upon arrival, and I know I'm in great hands. I can't thank Lesli and Tom enough for making my visits so enjoyable and stress-free. Their dedication truly elevates our experience! I highly recommend becoming a rewards member-there are so many amazing perks, and it only adds to the great service! I booked a room here that was refundable until February 10th. My daughter was admitted to the hospital on February 11th. I immediately contacted the hotel. I was routed to a voicemail. I didn't get called back until the next day and was informed I was given the incorrect voicemail. I was then given an email and asked to provide more documentation, which I did. This was going to be my first Vegas trip. They were unwilling to let me rebook for a later date. They were unwilling to work with me at all. This was not a situation of a customer changing their mind. I'm a single mom, and there was no option for me to take this trip. The way they treat customers is greed fueled and terrible. When my daughter is healthy and I finally book my trip, I will stay far away from this place. I encourage others to stay away as well.

Check in flawless. My host Amber was fantastic. Show tickets and dinner at Top of the World. Illuminate and Micky Dolenz of the Monkeys. Hit for 2100 in the first hour which obviously started the whole trip of right. Rose pedals when we got back to the room really set the mood with a bottle of course.

I booked this trip as a flight-hotel package on 1/11 through Priceline. When I arrived at the hotel after 11 p.m., they couldn't find my reservation, even though I had my confirmation email and had flown in on the same flight from the package. I was told I'd need to pay for my stay as a walk-in guest, with the assurance it would be resolved at checkout between the two companies. However, the hotel cost me more than the combined flight and hotel package, meaning I've essentially paid for this trip twice. Both companies are passing the blame and not offering any help with a refund for this extra payment. The room was fine, but the whole experience has been a frustrating hassle. There's definitely something off about how they handle check-ins and charge customers.

Phoebe in McCall's is always wonderful to have as our Bartender. We come to Vegas several times a year. Every time we come we like to eat at the Bar in McCall's . Phoebe always remembers what we drink and is very on top of great service. We will always come here while in town

What a mixed bag. I have stayed at the Strat 3 times and this stay was the most disappointing. I will start with the most disappointing pieces... the food options are terrible. I was forced to choose between Starbucks and McDonalds for breakfast. Starbucks was okay... egg, sausage, bacon wrap.. boring without any salsa or cheese. The one McDonalds breakfast that I had... egg, bacon, cheese on a biscuit was inedible... I had to throw it out and go elsewhere. I had breakfast at the Denny's off-site after that... excellent food and value. The room was dated... definitely needs a refresh. There were signs around the elevators that the consumption of cannabis was prohibited in the hotel. LOL The smell was overwhelming and constant... every day of my stay. The room was clean, the staff pleasant, price was good, internet was fast.

Becca provided excellent service! Attentive but not overbearing. Incredibly friendly. She helped us find a great beer. Food was great for a middle of the day pick me up. Recommend the cheese fries and cauliflower bites. Lots of great sauce options.

Mariia at Chi was such a great waitress and gave us advice on the menu! And the food is Amazing! You must eat here! We ordered the Sweet and sour ribs, Crab and Cream cheese wontons, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Seafood Yakisoba Noodles. Delicious food!

Jackie Bass was the cashier that helped us navigate winning. She was so pleasent and informative. Negatives: The Strat room was a little run down. We stayed in the 16th floor and the hall carpet is horrible, big ripples and you trip easily just waking sober down the hall. We could hear everything our neighbors did and there were footprint stains in the shower...I tried wiping them and couldn't get them up... so that was weird. Positives: cheap shops within walking distance, everything you need right in the Strat. The staff, EVERY SINGLE PERSON was nice, friendly and helpful. There is a pizza place over by the entrance to Top Of The World. Best garlic knots every, big portions and such good prices. I don't remember the woman's name that we ordered from but she was so nice and friendly and impressive. The Top Of The World is EXPENSIVE. CRAZY EXPENSIVE. The food was great, not sure with the cost. We could hear the kitchen staff laughing and talking and it ruins the romantic aspect when it sounds like a run of the mill bar inside. The view was great but could have paid for the lookout and saved $400 on an overpriced dinner. 3 out of 5 stars for the Strat. 5 out of 5 for the staff.

Hosted a business meeting atop the tower. This was one of the best venues and most impressive to the attendees. Maurice took very good care of us and I recommend him highly. My room has badly ripped up carpet, see pic. Room is very run of the mill and I was supposed to get something good. Fridge is old but at least it works. Room is clean enough but a very boring and non cared for room I got! Coffee maker is a mess! Stains and mess so never used. Staff just barely ok here! In general overall and my older gent check in guy needs to gain personality skills!

We went to the Chi Asian restaurant and it was delicious! Food was hot and we didn't have to wait long. We got here at 5:30. Our waitress, Mary Ann, was very sweet and attentive. Recommend coming here and asking for Mary Ann. Viva Las Vegas! We will be back

The service I received from agent Izabella is efficient & professional. I hope she becomes a manager as her customer service is excellent. The hotel is comfortable and luxurious. The gambling is amazing. I have been here many times and will continue to come!

PT's Wings & Sports has great food and Dave our server was fantastic. I had the scrambled egg & bacon sandwich. Atmosphere is good, if you want to watch sports they have lots of screens going. Will go back again when we go back to Las Vegas next year.

Kaikeo Rathsasombath and Jenny made our experience so wonderful at the tables. Kaikeo was so sweet and gave us free tickets to the comedy show, Jenny cut up with us and gave us lasting memories. They make it fun, win or lose. The hotel itself is a very chill atmosphere and still nice enough to compete with other main stream ones. The room was nice and comfortable. Everyone here has made our tenth anniversary a fantastic experience.

Wonderful hotel stay. Great location between Strip and Downtown with shuttle that helps take you to Fremont. Definitely can tell it was renovated and rooms were clean. Front Desk was simple check in process and very kind. Check out easy too.

This review is for my experience in the casino. My server Andrea was constantly available for me! Her smiling face and witty conversation kept me at ease and happy while gaming. She was a true stand out in every way! The Strat is very lucky to have an employee who is as genuine and nice as Andrea... I have experienced the opposite of that with other servers in the stratosphere! Many of them look like they were going to the dentist in comparison to the bright exterior that was presented by Andrea..

Dave was awesome at the Pitstop!!! We had good food and great service. We came back to the hotel after a concert so thankful we got to meet David and his team.This was our first stay at the Strat so PT crew made good memories of Vegas. Definitely recommend to come enjoy their food and service

Patricia & Abell!! Best bartenders on the strip! Ask for a green tea with salt on the rim! I officially have a new favourite drink! Come see them everyday till 6:00 and they will get you fixed up! Yum! I didn't find them till our last night and I'm so bummed!

The stay was nice. The dealers we had for blackjack we loved. Especially Jenny and Sy both of them were amazing. The room was nice. Wish the shower was a bit better, and the windows to the room were cleaned on the outside. Kind of took away from the view with suck dirty windows. And maybe a few extra kids attractions and if they do have them maybe posted someplace or at least talked about at the front desk.

We had a problem with our booking. The desk clerk was totally unhelpful and rude. As it was late in the evening we didn't argue with him. The next morning we went back to the check in counter and this time we were lucky to be served by Fedlyn who bent over backwards to help us. It took a while to sort it out but he did so in a very warm and friendly manner. Excellent service by Fedlyn.

McCall's was so good, and Phoebe & Anya at the bar were so much fun! The fish fry and beef skewers were the best I'd had all day. I asked for bread, and received a gigantic chefs hat sized Hawaiian roll drizzled in hot, hot, liquid butter. It was amaze.

Definitely got to go see my boy Abell at the View Lounge!! Great time!! He knows how to make a great cocktail and knows he's sports. Looking to catch some games or have a drink. This is definitely the spot to be while spending time in Vegas no matter the occasion.

It had been a LONG time since I had been in and was very disappointed. First, they charge 20 to even park. Second, the table games were very limited (except blackjack) and limits too high for a Sunday night. Third, I had to leave - the casino smelled so much of marijuana I was getting physically ill. All and all, disappointing, and will not be returning.

I'll preface this with: This was a comp matched stay. I was looking forward to trying out the Strat as they offered to match my offers from other LV casino resorts: MGM, Fontainebleau, Venetian, etc… I emailed a host directly with the ask and received a fairly quick response. As it neared time for check in, my host was unresponsive in my minor request to be assigned a remodeled room. I'm used to staying in suites at Cosmo, Aria, Venetian, FB, all the high end locations so my ask was not unwarranted. I noticed my confirmation had me booked in a Boulevard Suite so I tried to gain clarification 5, FIVE, times on if it would be the remodeled one. I called the day before and was told I'd be assigned that room. I called day of and was told the room would be available sometime after 11. I go to check in with Ronald at VIP desk. I had spoken with him that morning so he knew my room preference as well yet when I opened the door I had been given a dark and grim outdated suite. I called down and was met with rudeness and unwillingness to right the wrong. I was even told to pay $150 for the renovated room. It wasn't until hours later that my host emailed and said he'd fix the situation. 5 hours after check in I was moved to an updated room but I already had a very bad impression from Ronald that spoiled my entire trip. I was booked for 2 days but checked out the next day. Moving on… I was given $200 resort credit which was matched from my other offers. Only after I go to purchase snacks at the resort convenience store am I then told my resort credit won't cover that purchase. What?!? My total charges came out around $80, far under the $200 I was allotted yet they're still trying to charge my card for what should've been covered. I told my bank and they will continue to decline the request as I've provided proof of the resort credit. I'm highly disappointed with this experience, especially coming as a new gambler at a fairly decent tier with other casino programs. For lack of professionalism, attentiveness and sheer rudeness from Ronald I choose to spend my gambling budget for Strat at another resort that treated me like royalty. I don't see them lasting very long at this currently service level. There's just too much competition to get by with the current offering. Wish I had better things to say about my stay.

Fraudulent! the Strat charged a $396 smoking fee after check out even though we don't smoke. Their front desk refuses to let you complete a sentence and basically will call you a liar when you tell them that you don't smoke. Not to mention when in line at check out to discuss the matter there were 4 others in line with same charges and similarly situations- they didn't smoke. We even called and spoke the to the GM and all she said was if you were in the room then it's charged- despite repeatedly telling her there is no way it's valid because We DONT SMOkE!!!! We were told that their smoking sensor went off for 1 hour and gave some report- just so happens I was blow drying may hair during that time. Their sensors are obviously faulty and they refuse to do anything about it. I have never smoked in my entire life!!!!! .There are plenty of other hotels so beware if you make reservations at The STRAT Las Vegas. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

Booked a room on Expedia. Apparently, according to their staff, Expedia posts listing for outdated rooms with updated pictures. Their staff asked if I wanted to spend 75$ more for the room in the picture on Expedia. I spent the 75$ but was still given an old room.

GREEDY GREEDY Booking my stay for nov 11-15,2024, the site I booked on said ALL FEES INCLUDED. When checking in Elizabeth said that isn't right, she handles this issue many times a day, I check in here once every few years. I was charged resort FEE, room damage FEE, which I never was credited after several calls to accounting. Also parking of $20 a day is mandatory, used to be free, however if you have a Nevada license plate parking is free. Sounds like discrimination and a class action suit waiting to happen. For a reasonably priced four day stay, this cost me an extra $500+ over my reservation cost. I have stayed at the Strat over many years, the greed and front desk rudeness is not acceptable. I won't be back. Hope someone follows up on the parking issue. This amount of money is peanuts to the Strat, but good will and honesty is priceless!!

I had a terrible experience at this hotel in October.! Upon arrival it took forever to be greeted and helped the self check in wouldn't work because we were checking in after 12 am. The room was kinda plain and dirty. 1-2 days into my trip I realized that my card had been charged $246. When we went down and asked they said it was for a smoking fee but the pending charge was listed before they even recorded the fee and the the supposed smoking occurrence. The lady said and your lucky our smoking fee is normally more than that. It was proposterous I know my friend nor I had smoked in the room. If we were smoking prior to them catching us why would it have only gone off once? We argued back and forth but they refused to return our fraudulent charges I was only supposed to pay the resort fees ($209+) with them returning my deposit. Instead I was charged an additional amount all totaling $650. And they don't care to help you. I have read so many reviews of people booking smoking rooms and the strat says once they are there oh we have u down for a non smoking room we can upgrade you to a smoking one? Then people with a non smoking room they put in a smoking room resulting in them paying to upgrade to a non smoking room and then they still have the audacity to add on a smoking fee due to the alarm going off... when clearly these people don't smoke paying extra to upgrade to a non smoking and then they still slap on more. It seems this is their tactic when someone books through a third party to make up for the difference in price. They also have no washcloths, dirty/dusty rooms, no free breakfast, or discount to anything in the hotel! And the pool closes at 6pm

We have not stayed at the Stratosphere for years but before the covid insanity we yearly visited Las Vegas. Our family always enjoyed the Strat and we always enjoyed going to the top and go on the rides.... The first part of November 2024 we went and self parked. We wandered through the casino to head up the tower to the rides. Very disappointing ... the roller coaster is gone... the wild insanity ride is gone....the X-scream ride was closed for maintenance. the big shot was running and you could sky jump off the tower for a $100 + .... Disappointed we decided to leave the basically empty casino and went to the Fremont experience.... We were at the Strat for less than an hour and were charged $20 for parking..... The hotel is in a not so nice area we were there in the daytime and I would be scared to go outside the hotel at night.... We will not return.......

We had an issue with our room keys. They made it right quickly. They were very polite. The restaurants are very affordable too. We will come back at our next road trip . Give a chance to this hotel ! ................................................

We rode the LV Monorail to Sahara and attempted to walk to the Strat. The neighborhood was unappealing. It's trashy and just doesn't feel safe. We followed our phone GPS to the Strat and found every path blocked by gates and fences. We gave up and went back to the Monorail. Had visited the Strat about 5 years ago. Big difference in a bad way.

We just arrived for our holiday stay at the strat hotel. We paid extra money to have a suite as we are also celebrating our engagement. We arrived to our suite and the room wasn't cleaned at all. The bed was undone. There were towels on the floor. Even pee in the toilet!! We reached out to the front desk and they would not even refund the full amount we paid for it! They gave us $50 bucks back and $50 to use in food and beverage credit !! First off I don't want to give you $50 back in food. I deserve money back for the room I paid for, that I now am not sleeping in. In fact, they downgraded our room!! The manager never spoke with us, but instead spoke through a front desk employee. Terrible customer service. How can I not even get face to face time with a manager when they messed up by having a messy room?? And they are not even apologetic about it! Seriously, you get what you pay for here. The Wynn would never! We also requested a late check out, which they wouldn't do. And as a side note: on the last day of our visit, we finally got to speak with the manager, tanisha. Tanisha is an unprofessional lost soul. She did not do one single thing to make up for the worst Vegas stay of our lives. She refused to speak with us. If you can't handle face to face contact with your customers who are spending money to be here, then you don't deserve to be a manager. What a low class trash human being.

Don't !!!, I was so disappointed with my stay here. I stayed here years ago and it was great but now I won't ever stay here again. The staff was rude and not very customer service oriented. My room(s) were awful and it ruined my trip. The bathroom in room number 2, was horrible. This bathroom looked like the bathroom at a rest stop

Our stay was from 11/9 to 11/12. This was our 1st time staying here and I don't think I will be back. Check in was cool but when we got to our room we didn't have any wash cloths. Our room was on the 21st floor of the central tower section. We called housekeeping and never got any wash cloths. They finally brought us up hand towels (the longer ones). That night our sink stopped up and we called on that as well but maintenance never came. The next day we asked the maid to get us some fresh towels and wash cloths and was told she could give us the towels but we had to call housekeeping for the wash cloths. Never got the wash cloths because the bought us the long hand towels again to take a shower with. The next day I went to the front desk to complain about the hand cloths and stopped up sink. They finally got some wash cloths and came to fix our sink on the last day because we were leaving in the morning. I have never stayed in an hotel where I had to beg for some face cloths and where the sink was stopped up and it took almost 3 days to fix.

The Pros The front desk gentleman, Todd, and the Bellman, Berto, were very nice to talk to. They were helpful. It's in a nice busy section. There is a Denny's across the street. The Cons The people at the front desk area were horrible, very unprofessional. Check-in took a long time even though there were only two guest checking in because the employees were hanging out talking amongst themselves ignoring us all. I came in and stood behind a lady and we were there for a long while. The employees stood around and even leaned on the wall. They walked in and out chatting with one another, very casually even laughing. They did not help any guest but then a lady asked me to come up and she took care me and one took care of the other. The others did nothing but chat amongst themselves. The woman who helped me wasn't overly nice and she made me feel like I was a bother. Toward the end of the checki-in she made a comment and I thought she was trying to be friendly. I responded. I did not get the comment until I was walking with the Bellman. He actually said something that made me see. She was basically being snarky that I was getting a room free for the night, but it's not free. I worked hard to get those points to pay for that room. The Bellman was nice. He was polite and chatty. When reached the floor I could not breathe. I made the comment and was choking, coughing. He asked if I was ok. He informed me that this was a smoking floor. I did not think Hotels allowed smoking in hotels. I told him I could not stay on this floor and so we went back down. I approached the front desk because I needed to change rooms. Again, I was ignored by the employees hanging out having a good time amongst themselves. I think it was like 1 AM at this time I was exhausted. I used a stern voice to show I was serious, but I wasn't ugly and let them know that I needed to speak to the lady who helped me or a manager. I was shown attitude from the employees. I informed them that she gave me a bad room. She never did come out and the guy said she'll be out when she can. They continue to talk amongst themselves leaning on the wall. They were looking and snickering. I got tired of it so I called out at Todd, since he was through with the customer in front of him and did not offer to help. He was polite. I started explaining things with him and I talk with my hands. It's normal. They all decided to come at me, very rudely, getting attitudes and acting like a group ready to engage in a rumble. It was very unprofessional and unnecessary. They even stated that they would call security and throw me out. They had no reason to do this unless they were just being racist. I'm sorry, but that's how they came across and I have never encountered anything like this. It seemed like a bad scene from a movie They have no hospitality standards. No customer service. It was absurd. Their job is hospitality. The lady made a comment that I was getting a comp room so I guess that's why she gave me an unclean room in a smoking section, without asking me. I find that odd because she knew I had allergies because it was on my reservation. I even mentioned it. Not to mention, I had called the day before to confirm about my allergies and no feathers as well . I could see why Mr. Todd didn't approach me, because I feel he was probably waiting for one of the other employees to approach me because they should be working, especially out on the floor. One young lady, who was about 4 feet tall came and tried to get in my face, telling me that she was gonna have me thrown out. It's something a middle school person would do trying to fight someone. It was ridiculous and very unprofessional, again. Mr. Todd tried to help, but it sucks that after all that I went through that he gave me a handicap room when I made sure when I made the reservation and even spoke to the person that I also do not like handicap rooms and I do not want it just because I'm using my points. I was in a wheelchair and I was on crutches for a long time and I do not like a handicap broom and it's unfair to give me a room that's unused, dirty and mistreated just because I'm using my points . It's sad that I got my 2nd room and it smelled. It was very was very warm, which is odd because in all hotels I have to turn the air off because it's so cold. There were stains. The shower flooded the floor because it did not drain properly. There was no washcloth no soap. This hotel disappointed me completely. They ruined the first part of my birthday trip and my first night. The next day I was exhausted. I caught an Uber and I went to the Westin Resort and stayed for the next few days. I will never stay here again if this is how they treat their customers, reward members and cardholders. Again, points are not given away. Card holders and reward members have to work really hard and spend a lot of money to obtain the 56,000 points it takes to have ONE NIGHT…. So it's not free! Employees need to be informed that they need to treat all guests the same and they need to be treated with respect. They have a job because we're paying to stay here . So that 56,000 points gave me about 5 hours of sleep since I did not get into my room until after 2 AM thanks to the hotel staff, then I had to wait to get soap and washcloths so I could shower. It was a lot of unnecessary stress and aggravation that I ended up paying for. It is Not worth the money!!!

We had a renovated room and liked everything about it, however allow me to comment about the hotel in general: - Family pool (24th floor) was closed due to a private function, but this was only announced by the reception desks and at the actual entrance of the pool!!! so we walked all the way there for nothing...and with a disappointed child. Lack of customer service!! this info could have easily displayed in the lifts or on the TV screens in the room. We than had to go to the 'party-pool on the 8th floor' which had loud music and a trashy atmosphere. Such a disappointment, as the pool was the main reason we had booked this hotel. - The Parking charges are confusing too, but luckily we found out that Nevada License plates to not have to pay. - The Gym is rather small and difficult to find, as there are 'old & new signs' which are not aligned - Check in: the desk where super busy, so we used the automated desk, where a nice young man helped us - PT Wings & Sports Bar: great food and attentive service - the discounted ride up the tower does not apply during sunset hours - the minibar was empty, so ideal to fill with shop bought drinks and food

Guy checking me in added a chargeable room upgrade to my room without informing me. Told me I was signing for a security deposit and resort fee's. I only found out when checking out, which is when I challenged the charges and was told someone would be in touch. After 3 days I hadn't heard anything so I called them and was told they will only refund me for 2 of the 3 nights ‘upgrade' fee. Be careful what you're signing! Also, parking $20 a day is ridiculously expensive for its location. Circus circus or TI offer free parking. My advice is avoid this hotel

The room was dark, needed another chair to sit. Towels need updated . Room was small but clean. Staff were courteous and Casino was lively . Yes we would do a few nights there again. Closer to Fremont Street . Enjoyed the view and the meal at the Top of the World.

I checked out over a week ago and have called/emailed every day asking for a copy of my receipt and have received nothing (and yes Ive checked my spam). The room was dark and did not have a real window, the tv was broken. I also had my do not disturb sign on the door, and everyday someone had entered my room when I asked them not too.

The Strat hotel was not a bad hotel, but there were a few cons that I did not agree with first the bed comforters were not up to par, there were holes and stains on them, Although I bring my own sheets and pillowcases due to the breakouts that I have from laundry detergent. I was harassed by security who thought that I was an Trespasser while sitting in Starbucks. The Strat Hotel has a variety of outside and inside activities like golfing, airdropping, On top of the world restaurant that is very beautiful. The housekeepers were very nice, but I do my own cleaning when I go to hotels. Other than that I don't think I will be returning!!!

It was my first trip to Vegas with my daughter and if the customer service meaning the guy I spoke with on the phone after I left was not so pleasant I would have put the worst rating. The room smelled like poop or sewage and I asked for a room change and they simply cleaned the carpet outside my door and turned a fan on which made me all stuffed up. I tried to just toughen it out and took a shower hoping the steam would help me clear up but there was no hot water so I took a cold shower on top of all of that. I ended up leaving after that because I never got a room change and that's all I asked for to make it right. I ended up leaving shortly after 5pm, the chat host that messaged me didn't even check up on me after the complaint and I hate to complain I really do!! I literally tired to get over it but it was so bad. I even apologized for bothering them and then she sent me a message about online check out and I told her it didn't work so she told me to stop at the front desk and by that point I was already gone on an Uber to find anywhere else that had a room. It was sad because that's where my daughter wanted to stay with the "high tower that was so cool" and I disappointed my 7 year old by leaving so I really tried to stay and make the best of it. The guy I spoke with over the phone was sooooooooo nice it did make up for a lot of it.

We have been coming to The Strat for MANY years, this will probably be the last time. Upon arrival we was asked if we wanted to upgrade our room. I stated i didnt, we were using a promo, and had quite cheap rooms, we didnt want to spend any extra, as we already had to book elsewhere for the remainder of our stay, as the Strat didnt have a room available for our whole stay. Which im now glad of. We have ALWAYS stayed in the select tower, even when staying for free, this time after refusing the upgrade, we was put in the North tower, which is a really disgusting side of the hotel (we know because our friends have been stuck there a few times before) I always book a non smoking room, but this room was absolutely reeking of cigarette smoke (and pot in the corridors) so bad, that our clothes and belonging now stunk. I was going to complain, but we arrived late, and then only had 1 more night before leaving, i didnt see the point on getting moved. The room was disgustingly dirty, all around the sink and mirror area, and nasty black stuff in the shower. Had i taken my shower that morning (see below) and seen all this nastiness, i would have asked to change rooms, Bit again, it was later in the evening, and we only had 1 more night there. That morning i was about to take a shower, and get ready for a wedding, when i realized there was no hair dryer, again we have stayed there many times, and have always had a hairdryer in the room, even since covid. I called down to the front desk, and got some robot, who stated all rooms have hairdryers, and they would get one to me. an hour passed, and my husband went down to the front desk, the lady called housekeeping, who said they would get one to me. We decided to run to wallgreens from some dry shampoo (just in case. If you saw my hair air dried you would understand why i wasnt about to wash it with no hair dryer, then attend a wedding) when we got back there was still no hairdryer, so i went to the desk, Spoke to the same lady (who was great by the way), who AGAIN called housekeeping, to be told they didnt have a spare hairdryer, And dont have them in all rooms since covid. She went to speak to her manager, and came back to tell me they was going to find one in another room and deliver it. After an hour or so, we had to leave to be at the wedding, and go about our day. When we got back, i had not 1, but 2 hairdryers waiting in the room. Im thankful that we finally got them, but it was too late. I have given 2 stars because the lady on the desk was very helpful, and did eventually get me the hairdryer I have added photos of the dirtiness, i only wish you could smell it too! :(

I really want to give the The Strat a 5 star and my 3 star is a reach. This was my second time staying here. The rates for the rooms are good that is the appeal, until you check in and the resort fees slap you. They have done some upgrading since my last stay over a decade ago, however the cheaper rooms are the ones that have not been updated. Dirty, nasty tubs, skeptical beds, dirty furniture and rugs, yet decent views. The location is a bit dim but that's changing with the constant LV construction. My first night, the neighbors were beyond loud. They did change my room asap. Strike 1 Then the changed room tv did not work, but they sent Mainetenace and it was fixed quickly. strike 2 Second day the concierge Blake formed me the pool was open when in fact it wasn't. Strike 3 however, at this point I had to say something and Calvin the front desk manager listens, and gave me a $25 food/ beverage voucher. That was a redeeming moment. I will say this, the staff is amazing!!! I really wish management does something about the cleanliness and this would be a 5 star review. The food here is pretty decent. I used the voucher at the STRAT Cafe, ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. Generous portions at prices and it was really tasty . Chi Asian was really good as well. McCall's has some good calamariMust mention Lisa at player services, Calvin front desk, and Phoebe at McCalls.

Terrible, inhuman treatment from the Front Desk Shift at 1 am of October 8 2024. My company paid the reservation in full under my name , i showed them my ID and they did not check me in because a resort deposit was not paid. They let me 5 hours in a lobby , they had no intention of helping me, telling me “we can be all night here but i will not check you in”. INHUMAN, HEARTLESS AND RACISTS. They should be fired!!

Dirty hallways. Shower grout unclean. Even though I paid for an upgraded "Elevate" room, the hotel clerk checked me in to some weird little corner room, far removed from the rest of the hotel. My window was in a cubby area of the room that I couldn't even see out of unless I stood directly in front of the glass. Furthermore, I paid for a city view and instead had a view of few dilapidated apartment buildings and a parking lot. I paid 100% of the resort fees, yet half the pool was closed. Then I discovered the pool was not heated at all and every guest that got in complained about the frigid water. The hotel advertises a hot tub. When I asked the lifeguard of its location, she kind of chuckled at me and said the property doesn't have one. Don't come here. Las Vegas offers so many better options for similar budgets. Highly disappointed.

Made and paid for a reservation through vio.com. After paying, I was then informed there would be a $20 parking fee. I can swallow that. Too busy to look elsewhere. Upon arrival I try to get into self parking. I have a regular size stock pickup truck, no lift, etc. Still, I bumped the max height bar at the entrance to parking. So I went to valet. I went to the Valet office and asked about parking. They said if it won't clear in self parking, then they cannot valet it. I would have to use "their" over flow parking on the other side of Las Vegas Blvd. The kicker? Its $100 a day to use their overflow parking. I went to another hotel with no parking fee and got a huge bump up in rooms and it even turned out to be cheaper. Now I'm having the "no refunds" song and dance played for me.

I gave the Strat Hotel 3 out of 5 because of my Front Desk experience and my room experience. I booked this trip for my Birthday. I stayed from September 25-27. I checked in at the Express Check-in because I thought it would be quicker. I was made aware of the resort fees before I Checked-in. When checking in on the express check-in kiosk, my resort fee was $152.88. Another $150 charge was for the hotel hold. Which totaled out to $302.88. This $302.88 was not reflected on my bank statement and when I inquired why? I was given the run-around by the front desk. I check out on the 28th of September by the Self Checkout link on my iPhone. I was charged another $150. I then went downstairs to the front desk in person to inquire about the charges and a Front desk agent assured me that that was just a temporary hotel hold . He explained that the $150 hold would be refunded in 5-7 business days. It's now October 7th and I still haven't received a refund. Another reason I gave this review is because the tub in my room had a cream in the seat of it. I had to lay a towel in the tub so I didn't cut my feet. And the room aroma wasn't very pleasant. I also had several bits of hair on the floor and on the bed. However, All the restaurants and shows were good. The casino staff was very polite and friendly.

#1 the gentleman that check us in after having trouble with the kiosk was very helpful Thank you too him.!!! #2 the room on the 16th floor was super nice with 2 queen beds, coffee maker a large walk in shower and large area in the bathroom to get ready..and a full length mirror.#3 The pool and pool area is amazing with great drinks. #4 the price we paid was beyond reasonable. Breakfast at the strat Cafe was so darn good (awesome fluffy Denver omelet and the hash browns were made with fresh potatoes) The Strat is absolutely spotless and just as nice as alot of rooms down the strip. Oh did you know that there is a downtown loop shuttle you can take to freemont street and to the premium outlet mall. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. Thank you for a very nice stay.

From Sep25th to Sep30th I stayed at the Strat for the Las Vegas Worlds Softball Tournament. I booked my room through Priceline which they booked it 25th to 26th and then 26th to 30th. When I checked in I was given room 120 on the 12th floor in the north tower. The next day I went to the front desk and asked for a new room because the AC was not working and the toilet paper holder was broken. The lady told me she will give me another room once they clean rooms. I said ok because I had games anyway. Around 2pm I returned and was given room 117 on the 7th floor in north tower. Mind you only 2 of 4 elevators where working which caused 30 to 45 min wait times coming and going! On top of that I checked out on the 30th around 220am and headed back to Texas. I was told this smoke detector went off at 805pm on the 27th but I stayed there from 25th to the 30th. The front desk clerk said I was good to go with nothing pending but as I stated I was charged a smoking fee when I got home and was never told about this. Wouldn't it make sense to let me know they got that alarm so I can show them I never and don't smoke but instead they charge you by running your key card to say yes he was last in the room! That is a scam!! So beware and stay at your own risk because I'm one of many this has happened to!!! It's a shame but I will never stay here nor recommend the Strat to anyone!!!

Stayed here for 1 night at the start of the tour and 2 nights at the end of the tour. Rooms reasonable with a good space to walk about. Staff very helpful as well. The only downsight is the location which is OK during the day but a bit dodgy at night. It is a good walk to the main strip.

I was nervous seeing recent reviews, but this is where our group was staying. We had a great time here. Yes, we had an older room, but it was clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and receptive. We were on the 18th floor of the Select tower. The hall carpet is pulling up, but it didn't bother us since we know the hotel is undergoing renovations. Obviously, they can't do it all at once. There is a bus stop for the Deuce line right in front. We used that for our primary transportation to the main part of the strip and downtown without issue or safety concerns.

First time staying at the STRAT but 14th visit to LV. Reserved a basic Select Tower King room for 4 nights. The room was on the 10th floor with a view mostly of the casino roof! It was ok, furniture was a bit beaten up but seen worse. AC was fine, Shower was fine. It did have a coffee maker and housekeeping visited everyday. Only downside is the distance from the strip and downtown. As I dont drive, it was a PITA to get anywhere (esp as temp was 38). It did have a nice cafe and a visit to the top of the Tower is a must.

The Strat seems to be on the rundown side of Las Vegas. However, when you get inside, it gets a little better. We had breakfast here, and I must admit it was probably not the best place we've eaten in Vegas. The food was on the cold side, and the coffee was weak. The toilets are not as clean as the other hotels, but the staff were friendly.

Outdated hotel and rooms. Room was old and not updated. No mini fridge or microwave. Pool is only open until 6:00pm weeknights. Can't go out on the strip during the day and come back and relax at the pool in the evening. Restaurants in the hotel are not open every day and some are not open in the evening. NO room service even though there are restaurants in the hotel. No airport shuttle. This is probably the worst hotel/casino I've stayed at in Las Vegas.

Stayed 9/18-9/21 but checked out one day early (9/20) before 11 am and was told I could get my last night (Room & tax, resort fee , upgrade charge).THE WHOLE HOTEL & CASINO SMELLS LIKE CIGARETTES AND WEED! (CASINO , ROOMS , VALET , EVERYWHERE!) We originally had a select double queen room booked while silly me figured it would at least have a mini fridge however it did not. It also smelled of cigarettes and weed..I asked concierge but was just offered to upgrade. I initially declined however when my AC thermostat would not register when you pressed a button I was basically forced to upgrade if I wanted to be comfortable. So I repacked my things as I've been in the first room for a few hours at this point, I upgraded to an Elevate king room ( newest remodeled rooms). Women on phone told me floor 10 and below are the nicest so I said let me get the newest nicest so she put me on floor 11... No big deal however the room DID NOT look like the picture that was advertised. The bed was a regular bed and NOT the thick mattress in pictures of said room. We were on floor 8 leaving the pool and housekeeping had some doors open cleaning rooms and the beds in those rooms looked just like the pictures so I think we got a "partially" Renovated room but paid full price. Shower head is right up against the wall and does not move enough so you are up against the wall while showering. If you're tall, good luck! Tower was shut down all day Thursday for Sarah's birthday apparently but was not told until the morning . This forced us to pay weekend pricing to visit the tower rather than weekday pricing. All this wasn't too terrible but nail in the coffin is the FRAUDELENT smoking damage fee of $350 they added to my stay. WE DONT SMOKE!!! I went down to make sure I would get refunded if I check out a day early which helped the hotel as they mentioned they had 1000 check-ins and 1000 check outs for the day (9/20) . I was told a manager had to come speak with me because my account had a balance. I was then informed I was accessed a smoking fee. They showed me a graph of air quality for their special sensors they have in room that spiked at 4:20pm on Sept 19th. My wife and I traveled together the whole time on this trip and believe we were at the pool at that time however we did return not long after to take showers and get ready for the night. We did use a candle to not smell the new paint smell that the room had. I was told an investigation would which consisted of cleaning staff and security going in room to observe for evidence and they could check cameras to see if we were at the pool. This was told to me BEFORE I checked out. Come to find out I couldn't get room & tax back since i booked through expedia. I would get my upgrade charge and resort fee back for 1 night. I checked out expecting a call from management regarding this investigation since they made it seem they would get right on it. They had the room occupied within 2 hours or less of our checkout. I called for a few days until I got the answer back on the investigation that I would have to remind each person I spoke to about the incident so it obviously wasn't communicated properly when I checked out and completed the day it should of been. They say some lock report shows I was in the room at 4:19pm. This is a FRAUD. I stayed multiple nights and technically was in 2 different rooms and your sensor goes off only once??? SCAMMERS! Beware of this shady hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a great time. Room was Clean and cosy, Staff was friendly and did a great Job. The Tower is a great opportunity to work on acrophobia and everybody was patient, understanding and supportive. Definately a good choice to stay there. We'll be back.

Solo Birthday trip ruined by the Host! Worst guest experience!!! If your Drivers License is stolen, you will not be welcome to stay. I got there at 2am, would not give me a room til 3pm the next day after an email no resort fee invite. Then charged me 2 resort fees and a $100 deposit. Degrading humans!

I recently stayed at the strat hotel for my birthday, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Do not stay at this hotel they will over charge you and the supervisor shy was completely disrespectful to me. I was charged a smoking fee during my stay when I don't even smoke. Staff refused to even check the room, and I was giving the run around. The smoking fee was charged without any notifications. I was told it was due to the smoking levels being high. When I told staff once again, I do not smoke and neither do my guest smoke. We were treated terribly and accused of something we don't do. It's been two days and I still have not gotten my refund just a run around from staff. If you value your money and time do not stay here. I will not be coming back ever!

My experience at the strat was not what I expected to be. The room was VERY out dated and over priced. The room was very basic and supper expensive for not reason the bath tub floor was so old I thought the tub was dirty, the shower head sucked, there isn't a microwave or a min fridge to at least warm the expensive food you purchase. There was only about 4 good channels to watch tv on, no cable only like tnt, tbs, cmtv, Disney, nevertheless it's was disappointing to pay all that money just to have a motel room with resort fees. They could have a least thrown in some tokens to get stated as this was my first time in Vegas and I will never stay here again. Over prices for no reason, didn't even get to enjoy myself like I thought I would.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. This is our 3rd trip to Las Vegas but our first (and last) stay at the Strat hotel & casino. We arrived on 03/09/24 to be allocated a smoking room- we requested non smoking room as we are NON smokers. Stayed 1 night in the smoking room and got a room move first thing on the 04/09/24 to a non smoking room. Payed extra for an upgrade to a newly refurbished room. We paid all fees, resort fees, upgrade fees and security deposit up front. Upon arriving the upgraded room is dirty and in need of repair. Despite being visited 4x during our stay( we are currently still at the hotel until 13/09/24) We have 43 photos of dirty areas in room. Arrived back at hotel on 06/09/24 after a day out to see that a charge for cleaning $280 taken from my card for smoking and damage!! We are NON smokers. Contacted reception, been passed around by 4 supervisors to be told that the charge stands. Produced a report that states a smoke level was detected for 15 minutes over a 7 day stay. Asked if sensor could be faulty, picking up something else? We have essentially been charged $550 for the cleaning of a room that was already dirty and in need of repair, this does not meet ICONIC hotel standards. We have repeatedly told reception that we DO NOT SMOKE. Getting nowhere with reception. If we were smokers surely there would be more smoke reports or smoke detection?? Does not make sense. We have emailed the help desk and hotel manager looking for some resolution but we have had no response to emails. I feel that we have been the victims of fraud and to be falsely accused of smoking and causing damage to an already sub standard bedroom is just obscene.

You get some great views of Las Vegas from the viewing platform. Its a fair distance from the center of the strip i caught the monorail the station is quite close a short walk away. Also its higher than the Eiffel tower in Paris worth the effort.

I made a reservation at the strat, and I feel I was scammed. Basically I reserved based on the pictures posted on the travel site. When I got there I got a really old room that felt dirty. When I went down to the lobby they explained the have renovated and non renovated rooms. My rate was for the old rooms. Nobody explained this when I booked. Classic bait and switch. I ended up not a staying for the night and loosing my money. Staff was completely useless and did not care!! Attached are the photos of the room I saw when I booked and of the room I got….

Our second stay at the Strat was another great experience We stayed before in 2018 on our 20 th anniversary And we stayed again back in March for our belated 25 th anniversary. We cannot fault this hotel and casino. The staff are great ,one cocktail waitress recognised us from our last time there. Honestly going to other casinos further down the strip was exhausting.They were like airports overcrowded noisy.Toilets were unclean.Coming back on the bus to the Strat was like an oasis of calm and cleanliness. The pool is great and the food and drink is very reasonably priced. The staff throughout are really friendly. The changes they have made are really good too. The beer and wings as well as the Chinese restaurant at the back entrance. We left on the day the atomic golf opened. So we never got to check that out. But the Strat is the only hotel and casino we will go when we return to Las Vegas .

Had a great stay here for the week. Rooms was really nice n clean and housekeeping came in each day when I was out so room was perfect each time I came back. Climate control was perfect in the room and this was really needed in the extreme Nevada heat. You can have the room very cold if you wish so I just set it to a comfortable temperature. You really wouldn't know the extreme heat outside until you left the hotel and it hits you. Shower was amazing with great water pressure and heat. Towels soap and shampoo all present. WiFi worked flawlessly and I used this a lot. Lots of restaurants and bars and even a McDonald's should you choose a more cost effective option. The view from my room was incredible overlooking Vegas and I had the sunrise coming up over the mountains each morning, a view I would never get in England. Although I didn't go in the pool I did go up to the bar by the pool and again it looked really impressive and just a great holiday experience. If I do wish to visit Vegas again I would definitely come stay at the strat.

Do Not Stay at The Strat! This is the worst hotel in Las Vegas. I spent a few days at The Strat in June. I was there alone. I had money stolen from my room at this hotel. I had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, but that didn't stop the housekeeping person from entering my room and going through my backpack. I am 100% certain that this person is responsible for my stolen property. I had $2,000 stolen from my room that day. I filed the report with the hotel, and the security looked at the cameras. But when I left the hotel to go home, the hotel gave me the run around for the next 45 days and refused to return the cash stolen from my room. They claimed that on the cameras, the housekeeping person entered my room, but he made a mistake and they can't be certain that he took anything from me. I asked why he entered my room in the first place, even though I had a Do Not Disturb sign on it. They stated that it was just an Error. The day before this incident took place, I had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door again, and I was in my room at that time. Yet, housekeeping entered my room without knocking. I am assuming that this is a normal practice at this hotel for housekeeping to enter the room even though you don't want your room cleaned. Be careful, and store away your valuables in a safe.

To make this short, room was dirty nail clippings on the ground, stained sheets, soap wrappers in the bathroom. I let front desk know said they would do full service, I gave them all day while we were out we came back in at around 7PM grab some stuff still dirty nothing fixed headed down again and said oh house keeping doesn't always listen to our messages. 1st day arrived 2:30AM so I wasn't able to tell them till following day at 9 but no one showed to clean I headed back down and said they would put notice to clean it but they didn't guarantee someone would clean it.

Spectacular views from the top of the tower! A huge and nice fitness center, great food to choices, Also a very nice pool and pool area. Room wasn't the best but I got a priceless view of the city from the 11th floor. I definitely got my money's worth and will be staying here on future visits to Sin City!

Went to Vegas for my birthday weekend with my boyfriend & just needed a clean, affordable place close to the strip. The room and bed were both clean. AC worked fine (thankfully because the heat was crazy). Water, robes, slippers & dental kits weren't provided. We were advised to buy from the gift shop ($16 for 2 travel toothbrushes is insane lol). Our room faced a parking structure so for those who want a nice view, you'd have to pay for it. Casino area has a good amount of slot machines but not many tables. Tables were never really busy so maybe that's why. Additional charges: In & out self-parking - $18/night. Mandatory resort fee - $40/night to utilize the pool/gym/wifi. Observatory is discounted rate for guests but it should be complimentary. Guests also receive 20% off their bill at Top of the World restaurant. The "highlight" of our stay was that housekeeping entered our room on our 2nd to the last day; we woke up startled as we had the DND sign hung. After speaking to a front desk staff, we received vouchers as a small token of apology. Overall, nothing special about this hotel to make us return.

Place is kool. One of the rides was not working. Its a kool little spot. Try going on viator or Groupon to get discounts.parking is free if you have NEVADA plates.this place is right off the main strip. Casinos were packed. We enjoyed ourselves.

I used to came to Vegas a lot. However; this was the worst hotel experience ever. It's not only the service is bad. I paid for a newly remodeled room with stinky sink, uneven flooring and broken toilet paper holder. Casino machines were not working as well. It took money without spinning. I called the employee for troubleshooting, and they treat me like a liar. That's ridiculous. I'd give 0 star if I could.

Happy hour at the Strat. Awesome venue, great views, good priced drinks. No free parking pay to park and pay to go up to the top tower, we went up for arvo happy hour, sunset drinks and see the views. 10/10 Rides we also operating, omg do them if you dare, epic. A must to do, great arvo was had.

Horrible room, probably they didn't renovate since the 80ies. The bathtub is undecent, the carpet smelly and dirty. The plugs are directly connected to the side-table lamps and you seriously risk being electrocuted. Never ever ever again!

This is a horrible hotel. I check in on June 27th my room was extremely hot including the hallway. My room didn't even have a remote I called twice about the remote never brought the remote up. When I check in took the kids to the pool because it closes at 6pm got there at 5pm and they said the pool was close with no explanation. I spoke to Shy the manager the next day explained her my situation about my room being hot she immediately went into we not doing no room changes. I ask when can you have maintenance come up, she said I can't say. How can you not have a sense of urgency when it is over 100 degrees in Vegas. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. 2nd review coming if my air conditioning does not get fix.

Angela and Ron were the best host at the Strat. This is my Go to spot while in Vegas and love the way they treat me. Everytime I'm in Vegas I stay at the Strat and the staff always treats me great, I recommend the Stratosphere to everyone coming out to Vegas.

They have amazing guest rooms with comfortable beds.! The view from the room balcony is to die for ! Food was delicious and can i add they offer free room service , as well as housekeeping service EVERYDAY OF THE ELWEEK. The associates here are very informative and go above and beyond to give you the best experience and stay with them.

We stayed in the Select Tower. The room was nicely furnished with everyrhing we needed, including a mini fridge. We noticed the bed was very firm and wondered what it would be to sleep in. Wow! We both slept great. What made this trip especially nice was our Executive Host, Christopher Williams. This is the second time we've had him as our host. He was always available to answer any questions, from the time we booked our stay until we checked out. We always stay at The Strat because everything is right here, we don't usually leave. I can't say enough about Christopher and all of the employees we encountered...they are all amazing.

The fees at the ‘Strat' as they are calling it now are ridiculous. $20 a day to park, even for hotel guests. $50 resort fee, and the pool is closed for renovations. We won't be going back. Many better, more convenient, cheaper options. After you add on all the fees that magically appear on your bill, this hotel is an absolute rip off. A $99 dollar room becomes a $200 room before you even get off the elevator.

I stayed at this hotel for a short trip to Vegas. We stayed in the vegas tower. They said that it newly rehab. The room was nice and clean. Kind of small for a room with a king bed. The only complaint that I had about the room was that the bathroom door did not shut completely. The shower didn't have a door so when you showered water got on the floor which became slippery.

Please ignore the negative reviews. Ordinary working class people suddenly have outrageous expectations when they go to Vegas. I've stayed at the Strat(osphere) multiple times over the last few decades and had some mixed experiences. This was my first stay since 2019 and I have to say I was mostly very impressed by the changes. Check in was pretty swift, which was appreciated after having been awake for over 24 hours. We booked a 2 queen bed room in the north tower. I've stayed in this tower multiple times before and expected a basic but comfortable room. I was pleasantly surprised by the remodelling! The room had very stylish decor, comfortable beds, a refrigerator, safe, view of the arts district, table and chair, a huge smart tv I could connect my cell phone to and stream on, a lovely shower and bathroom, a motion activated light that was really useful when getting up in the night to use the bathroom, a coffee machine, good air conditioning, an abundance of storage space. The alarm clock was also really cute and sensible, you can see the time from any angle you look at it from in the room. The wifi was good most of the time, I have no idea why other reviewers are complaining about it, I was able to download and stream with no issues, though this was slow at the weekend. The gym is also very good. Water and towels provided and all the equipment you'd expect. The pool is lovely, plenty of sun loungers and a great atmosphere. People exaggerate the issues with the area. Yes there are some homeless around but I've never felt unsafe and if you're travelling on a budget it's great to have Dennys, Jack in the box, downtown and the arts district in short walking distance. It's also close to the bus station and boulder highway and other parts of the city are accessible by walking one block and catching the sahara bus. The hotel is right at the end of the strip which is ideal for me as I travel all over the city and don't wish to be caught up in the chaos and foot traffic of the strip where I'm staying. The staff were always friendly and courteous. Slight annoyances: During re-modelling it appears the tubs were ripped out. It's quite important for me to be able to bathe as I have muscle problems. I figured oh well at least I can use the hot tub, but sadly when I got to the pool that had also disappeared! The USB ports on the TV didn't work. Occasionally the water hadn't been re-stocked in the gym making a workout more difficult. No hand soap provided, we had to go and buy this. No hair dryer provided, I called the front desk over and over again and asked for one but it never materialised. The back entrance is completely closed which is a shame as it was handy for the north tower access. The side doors are also closed after 7pm which is inconvenient. The resort fees are of course a joke, as they are at most hotels in Vegas. $55 a night is outrageous for what it supposedly covers and this has increased from $7 a night in 2003. I wish this could be paid in advance rather than on arrival. On check in we were given coupons to access the tower for $5 but at the time of going up we were told there was an additional ‘service fee' of $5. What an absolute con, I can't even believe this is legal. While still good value for money, the dishonesty was not appreciated. Overall a lovely stay and it won't be the last.

June 1 2024 around 11:45pm we had a problem with the shower because it flooded up to the carpet. I called the front desk talked to Cassandra if we can transfer to the other room she said NO because there's no available room and they will sent the engineering, she hang up the phone. They sent engineering (orlando) to fix the clogged. I called again to to front desk to follow up what action they can do I talked to Ashley she told me she will talk to the Manager and they will sent a house keeping to clean the shower room it took 30-40mins before the house keeping arrive to vacuum the shower room and hallway. Until we checked out we didn't hear anything to the Duty Manager thats how horrible our accommodation to this hotel.

We paid premium for the weekend stay, and we waited until the last minute to book, yay, adventure. Anyways, we got to the room and the A/C was running when we arrived. It was cool and pleasant, but the smell was god awful. I called the front desk and the lady said sometimes when the air conditioner starts it can smell funny. I told her it was a strong smell and it was ignored. We went and had fun. We came back late and were exhausted, the next morning we woke. We decided to check out early and when I went to throw away our coffees I noticed something underneath the clear trash bag. It appeared to be old vomit in the can, and it smelled horrible. As we were checking out I asked the front desk to replace the trash can because of the smell and the lady smiled and said she would have the can replaced. Nothing else, not an "I'm sorry you had to endure someone elses organic smell" or anything. We left and will never return. Note the pic below, yum.

When staying at a hotel I would notice the little “don't hang things on the fire sprinkler sticker” and wonder if people are that stupid, Well it seems that they are, which caused the evacuation of a few floors at 3:30 in the AM. Other than that I had a great time and would recommend I had a clean room, there was a friendly/helpful staff, and the food was tasty.

We rented out the observation deck for a banquet for 70 members of a navy squadron. The food was amazing, the view is unbeatable, and the wait staff were incredibly professional! If you have an event, call the catering staff at the Strat. We had our own bartender for the event and it was put together perfectly!

Not been to Vegas or the Strat for 6 years. Always enjoyed the experience and this time it was even better. The Strat has been taken over and lots of improvements. Rooms are to a high standard, casino is lively and safe. Strat Cafe does superb breakfasts and late night snacks. Check in staff were excellent, only took 10 minutes to check in and the room was large, clean and with a lovely coffee maker. The Tower is always worth a visit and really enjoy the LA Comedy Club one evening. Great comedians and helpful staff. Highly recommend if you want to be nearer to downtime and Freemont and a few stops away from the main strip. Free bus runs from 11pm to 6pm every day to downtime. Pickup at the back of the casino. Can't wait to return, won't be another 6 years.

Miss Angela in the VIP room was very professional. In her dress, demeanor, willing to assist and very helpful for my needs. My husband and I moved. And unfortunately, they took the tub out after we signed the lease. Miss Angela was nice since I play at True Rewards casinos. She checked on getting a room that had a tub such a blessing!!!! My husband and I both can soak with epson salt as needed. Because we just got out of Physical therapy. We can enjoy a two day fabulous resort of Dining, partaking in a show and Top of the world. We can gamble and many options and all the other surrounding festive to do. Thank you for this stay

Hotel asked for nearly $600 bucks to sign in $200 for hotel security and $395 for resort fees, which were unknown to me or others at the desk! Hotel stunk of week, dog barking in room next to us for hours, didn't spend much time there as sooooo expensive! Leave complex, go to walgreens down road! Great place but the shock of half my money going right away was a shocker!

They may take my money but I always receive the best customer service when i book at the Strat(lolz). My host Ronald was awesome. There are only a select few of places that i stay at when I come to vegas, the Strat being one of them. I did the mobile pre-check in option, which sped up the check in process once i arrived at the hotel. They also have rearranged the casino floor since my last visit. More table games, and new updated slots in the back. Not to mention the new golf course next door(Atomic Golf). Im glas to see the upgrades around the casino as well as the surrounding neighborhood.

I stayed at room 102 floor 19 from 5/20 to 5/22 at their hotel and got pink eye and a throat infection from staying just in the hotel room. I was catching up on remote work and primarily ate snacks I brought for food. Something about the room, maybe the AC filter, maybe the tap water, maybe the sheets, got me incredibly sick. I got onto the phone with them and got transferred around through four different departments, taking over an hour of my time being placed on hold being redirected to different departments. The supervisor was particularly rude in handling my case, though the front desk and security who intook my complaint were fine. They're now conducting an investigation into my case. The security department forwarded me back to the front desk to seek a refund and that brought me back to the supervisor. The supervisor honestly ought to be fired. Piss poor customer service from that guy. Just spoke rapidly at me about how I should've told them earlier to get compensation. Maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe it was just busy. I don't know. I told him I was forwarded back to them from security and apologized for the inconvenience. He was just incredibly rude to someone who got sick from staying at their hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again due to that supervisor.

Do not believe the hype. I give it 5 negative stars. The strat was terrible with rude af elevator employees. 20 dollars to park for 1 hr. and more hidden fees in the ride prices..9 dollar "convenience fee" etc. I went specifically for the rides, the one cost 150. what s ripoff. Worse I was the ONLY person in line but had to wait over half an hr for a fake ass film crew to do a 100% staged show about a couple afraid to go on a ride. It was lame and scripted. I went upstairs to the power tower, went back and after 20 more min of waiting while they did repeated takes, I got frustrated and left. The jag offs working there could have let me ride and be on my way but instead wasted my time. Then they tried to excuse it by simply saying "they are filming." Idgaf about their filming, there was NO reason not to let me go ride. Go anywhere else.

The Pros The front desk gentleman, Todd, and the Bellman, Berto, were awesome. It's in a nice busy section. The Cons The people at the front desk were horrible and very unprofessional. I came in and stood behind a lady and we were there for a long while. They stood around and walked in and out chatting with one another, very casually. They did not help any guest, then One lady asked me to come up and one took care of the other. The others did nothing but chat amongst themselves. I approached the front desk because I needed to change rooms. I used a stern voice to show I was serious, but I wasn't ugly and let them know that I needed to speak to that girl or manager because she gave me a bad room. She never did come out and the guy said she'll be out when she can. They were all just whispering talking amongst themselves. I got tired of it so I called at Todd to ask. He was polite. They all decided to come at me, very rudely, getting attitudes and they acted like they had a grudge against me even stating that they would call security and throw me out basically. I have never been treated as such . It was absurd. The lady made a comment that I was getting a comp room so I guess that's why she gave me a crappy room in a smoking section, without asking me. She knew I had allergies because it was on my reservation. I even mentioned it. I went to them to try to get help and all they did was ignore me until I went to Todd because he was the only person working out there. They just chitchatted amongst themselves and ignored guest. They gave me an ugly handicap room that smelled and was warm. This hotel is beneath my standards. I will never stay here again! It was degrading and ruined my first night here. I paid for a room for an entire day that I was not even here because they made me wait so long that it was almost 2 am before I got to my room. It is Not worth the money!!! Thank God I have a nice resort booked for tomorrow. This is considered an old cheap best western hotel.

From the minute you arrive at this slum it reeks of crime. I went for a show, gambled for 30 minutes to an hour, and had my phone stolen by three men working as a team. I followed them to the front entry/drive to get security's attention. When finally at the door Zack (23) (the security manager) allowed them to leave. He told me to call the police and then became combative when I asked to use the phone. Now, for 10 minutes or so he refused to allow me to use the phone and then disappeared. He instructed his staff not to let me use the phone and one of his employees told me to "shut the f!@# up". Zac then reappeared and said he watched the video but wouldn't say what he saw. Then when I became irritated with his lack of assistance, he threatened to trespass me from the property and "put cuffs on me". I ended up leaving because I didn't want to end up in a situation where Zac was now attempting to...detain me? But- not the thieves?!?! The entire area surrounding the hotel is full of open drug use, gangs, homeless, and sex workers. The casino appears to have a very relaxed approach to security as there is open drug use throughout the casino with people nearly passed out or passed out. Be warned, even if you are going for a show there is a good chance you will see or experience crime.

April 18th - 22nd 2024. Stayed here with family as I was visiting for my birthday over the weekend. Everything was fine until I woke up at 4.30am on the 21st April 2024 to dripping sounds coming from my bathroom I walked over to the bathroom to find that my room got flooded there was water dipping from the fire sprinkler and the roof near the shower you could also see the paint bubbling off the wall due to water this was could of happened with the room upstairs leaving a tap on or a pipe burst. I was not impressed so I spoke to front desk and packed up all my belongings I also took VIDEO EVIDENCE of this flood happening in my room. It's now 5am getting to the front desk they upgraded me to a different room as they were completely sold out of the original rooms. Roll around the 22nd April 2024 around 12-1pm the day we are leaving. I spoke to the manager at the front desk about the situation which happened she said that I would be getting $304 dollars compensation for what had happened which I gladly accepted with her verbally. After returning home to the UK nothing has been refunded I spoke to the travel agents we booked with and they have been in contact with The STRAT Hotel and they have nothing on file about this issue which doesn't make sense. Surely something was written down as the general manager at the front desk took a while typing on her computer trying to figure stuff out. They have basically waved the case and closed it from my reading of the email from the travel agents today 16th May 2024. Really not happy with the quality of service provided by this hotel and the fact that my room flooded and this wasn't even recorded on file just doesn't make sense to me. I won't be staying here in the future and nor would I recommend it to anyone flying out to Vegas. I would also like to point out the whole place smelt like cannabis even in the corridor floors for the rooms which wasn't pleasant at all. The area around The STRAT Hotel is very sketchy DO NOT go wandering around at night!

We stayed at the Stratosphere for one night after a late night flight to rest before the long drive home. We thought it might be worth it as a lower cost hotel. With all the extra add ones it turned out to be over $200 on a week night. Parking is $20 a day with a system for payment so technical and complicated it would take a computer hacker (or an 8 year old) to figure it out. I could disarm a thermonuclear device easier than paying $20. The room was standard cheep but it smelled like an ash tray from a dive bar in a 50's Bogart movie. I called to the desk immediately to see if it was a smoking room or to be relocated. All they offered was to send up a hazmat crew to fumigate. Even though I wanted to get lucky I didn't think it would be an upgrade to smell like low cost brothel (ask me how I know) so I declined. I could have done the jump from the tower to forget the room experience but suicide was not the answer. There are many less expensive places that we have stayed in that area far better. Please pass this one up for another option.

The hotel has a grungy dirty out dated feel. They will apply a “resort fee” of $250.00 on top of the listed room rate. We checked in at 9pm - desperate to rest, didn't have a choice but agree to the resort fee. And I have to wait a couple of weeks for them to credit back deposit. The hotel is dirty and they DO NOT have basic services - no complimentary water, no tea, no hairdryer, no microwave. DO NOT stay in this hotel.

We did not stay at The Strat, but we did pay to go up to the 108th floor bar to look out over Las Vegas. It is only $15 for an all day pass. Being up there at night watching The Sphere change designs for hours was a blast! We also enjoyed the Rouge show that was currently at The Strat.

This was a horrific experience. The rooms were dirty. The floors and cigarette buds every where. We had to change rooms more once due to the clogged plumbing that had a sewage smell through the room. You're going to be constantly harassed to no end to do a timeshare. You can't even enjoy your vacation constantly defending yourself from people. We check in and the keys stopped working. You would think you can go right back to the desk and have them reprogram the key real quick. Instead they yell at you to wait in the check in line for another 45 minutes and it's their error. What made it more frustrating is we had fresh food and it was cold by the time we finally went through the long check in line again. The Manager said they would compensate us by returning the resort fees of $255. Needless to say they did not and we had to speak to several managers and supervisors before they noted it would be refunded. Save your money. Do NOT spend your money here. Complete rip off!!!! Way over priced and the neighborhood is sketchy asf

This is the biggest scam ever. I booked a suite in the Strat Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas through United Airline/Priceline and on their website it had beautiful modern furniture and nice window view, when I arrived, it was the sketchiest suite I ever seen in my life, straight out of a horror movie, where you kidnap someone and hide them to ask for ransom, I turned the stand light on and got shocked, opened the blind there was a dark wall facing me, used my phone light to find the light switch to my surprise it's not working. Suite #6046 Went down to the front desk and demanded another suite, they told me that's the only one available even though I booked and paid 30 days in advance. I was told it is “first come first served basis” what's reservations for? Called the manager and she repeated the phrase “first come first served”, so they decided to downgrade me to a one bedroom, and promised to give me my suite next day, I spent all 4 nights asking for my suite that I paid for. I was charged $932.00 for 4 nights, plus $216.00 amenities fee upon arrival, the room I got was advertised for $89.00 a night. NEVER stay with them it's a big scam.

Come on now if you are going to nickel and dime people give them good service. I'd never stay here again. I spent $45 to check in early and a $45 resort fee. The wifi didn't work well, I didn't have a hair dryer and had to call housekeeping, needed extra toiletries. They're so damn cheap and then you pay for everything. Just no

Prices are cheap and the room itself was nice. However, the cons are its way too far from the rest of the strip and the neighborhood around is kind of sketchy. Also the wifi did not work most of the stay. The check in and check out process was smooth. I would spend a bit more to stay more central on the strip next time though.

GBU Review of our stay at The Strat: I had a business trip to Vegas which put me and my wife at one hotel for a few days. We decided to extend our trip 4 more days and move to The Strat as it was closer to the strip activities. The Good: self check-in was nice and easy. The box office people are simple to work with and helpful. The tower, my God yes go to the observation deck at night and just look at the amazing views. Go up early enough to have a drink in the tower inside and just enjoy it all. We attended one of the house shows, which I'll write a review for separately, but it was handled well and professionally. The "View Lounge" in the casino lobby was a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink while watching sports and people. We ended up not eating in the tower restaurant, but wish we had the time to do so, I highly recommend it from what I did see. The Bad: The entire casino floor is so bloody noisy that I tried to take several phone calls and had to go outside and down the street. You can't even think of carry on a conversation anywhere. They had a live band on Friday and Saturday night that was mediocre, but only conflicted with the already overwhelmingly noisy floor and music blaring. I would have wished for somewhere quieter to sit. The room itself was okay, nothing too great but far from what I would want to book again. The room safe had been locked open so there was no way to us it. The room was also advertised as having a mini-fridge which it did not. I'm tired of staying at hotels without a fridge and microwave. And quite frankly, I hate the pod-style coffee makers. All the pools were closed due to weather so I can't say good or bad there, and of course isn't the hotel's fault. The vending machines are in one part of the hallway but then you have to walk a few hundred steps to the ice machine, it just seems very poorly designed. The Ugly: We stayed on the 12th floor and the hallway carpet is pulled up, wrinkled, and quite honestly a trip hazard. Night one, when I was out on a walkabout looking for the ice machine, I saw what was CLEARLY a pimp and 2 prostitutes in the hall. Let's be clear, not high end escorts with evening gowns, were talking low-rent prostitutes. That was disgusting. Second night, at 11:30pm, someone knocks on our room door. I asked who it was an a lady on the other side asked if we wanted her to clean our bathroom. I told her no and sent her on her way. It had a really bad vibe. The third night, as we approached our room, a guy and a woman were walking toward us, we entered our room and as the door clicked shut I heard what I can only surmise was the guy kicking our door almost like he tried to get in. It seems like hotel security is pretty lacking in controlling who is and isn't in the hotel. I expect prices at hotels to be bad, but The Strat is engaging in full-on price gouging. We wanted to have a drink in the lounge, those were $16 each but the worst was when we went to the store and needed cigarettes and a Red Bull, the cigarettes were $18 a pack and the Red Bull was $6. Overview: the tower is worth seeing 100%, even if you're not staying there. The observation deck and restaurant are worth going to see, as well as the box office people and the show we went to. For those, I give it a 2. As for the rest, I would give a zero rating and would not stay here again.

Not particularly impressed with my stay at the Strat. PROS: -The room itself was fine and I slept okay too. -Cheap. CONS: -While the room was fine, it also was well below my expectations of a Vegas casino/hotel. It felt like your average budget hotel. -The location is too far away from the rest of the strip to walk, so you either need to use the shuttle bus or constantly get rideshares. -The internet worked maybe 10% of our 3-day stay. -The neighborhood immediately around the hotel felt sketchy/unsafe. Conclusion - spend a little more money to stay somewhere nicer and more centrally-located on the strip.

We were in town for a family wedding and our wedding anniversary and we had stayed at another hotel our first night and we regretted every minute of it. We wish we had stayed here the whole time. Our stay was amazing. We were upgraded to a 2 room suite. We had a refridge in our room. Very clean and staff was amazing. Great suggestions on food by the bell hop and Valet was amazing with suggestions and giving directions. Well worth the money. We will be back and stay again we loved it here. My husband and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary in the Top of the world restaurant. Amazing food and view. One thing I would suggest is to have Cheese cake on your menu for dessert.

I would like to say how pleasant it was to stay at the Strat. Although it may be of the the strip it was still accessible via the deuce or walking. The room came equipped with a fridge which was a life saver in budgeting by shopping at the local Walmart by buying breakfast items and lunch bits. Friendly staff and clean rooms and area, it's a smaller casino but I felt like it paid out more than places we've stayed previously. On the plus side there's a McDonald's upstairs and Fat Tuesdays where they sell the booziest frozen cocktails. Most likely to return again next year for our third trip to Las Vegas.

The hotel rooms are supposed to be non smoking, but our first room smelled so heavily of pot and air freshener, we couldn't possibly sleep. We were given the run around of “no other rooms available” knowing full well they had tons of rooms available. We were given the upgraded rooms, which were run down and not well cleaned. The crowd in the hotel was sketchy at best. We were told to stay on the strip side, not to wonder around the other side called Naked City, or as we called murder street. The upsides- there were no bedbugs and I liked the shower set up. I would never pay to stay here again, but it's not the worst option in Vegas. We only stayed here as we were stuck in Vegas due to wind storms and couldn't stay at the hotel we just checked out of because it was sold out. We didn't go on any of the rides because of the wind storms, but we did go to the top of the Strat. The views were great on one side and interesting on the other.

If I could leave a NEGATIVE STAR, I WOULD.!!! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and wish we wouldn't have. They said the pool would be open in March. When we got there, they said it would not be open till 3 days after we left. No specific date stated on website. I guess that was my fault for thinking if you say open in March...that meant from the beginning of March. Bartenders were very rude, when we asked for water they would walk away and serve three to four other people before they would give us our water. They almost acted like the water was costing them money. Our room had the sound of running water next to our headboard at all times. Bery jard to sleep with this annoying sound. We called three times to have housekeeping come just vaccum our room. Finally came on day three of our stay. Asked for a extra garbage can on first day and they acted like it was going to kill them to give us a very very small garbage can along with the very very small garbage can already in the bathroom. When I booked the room, there was no info on the room not having a fridge in the room. The prices at the McDonalds was super high and they wouldnt sell the family combos even though they had all the items to sell. 1,2 and 3 dollar menu....what a joke. Nothing under 2.50. I will NEVER stay here again and I would sugest if you want to stay here to look at other places. Even a crappy motel would of been better. The only people that were awesome was the Bell desk guys. Very nice and helpful. Regardless of the crappy service we got from this place....my wife and I had fun on the Strip and in Freemont, but we will NEVER stay at the Strat again. Strat, you have lost our business for life and we will tell everyone we know to NOT stay there. Very dissapointed in this place.

Firstly when I booked was told parking was free and between time I booked and stayed here they decided to charge to park a s I was told I had to pay if I had known I would have stayed at my regular hotel where it was free 0 rating for that resort fee really high reaort fee for what you get no free entry to tower although toy get a discount for staying there plus side room was ok but surrounding area outside after dark is really sketchy considering where it is placed on the strip resort tax is way too much

Check in March 7. Leave March 11 and not once was room cleaned. I called for housekeeping and nobody showed up. I had to track down cleaners myself and told that my room wasn't on “their” list and they could only give me supplies (toilet paper and towels) Fire alarm battery keeps dying and beeps all night. Maintenance takes forever to get to you. Wifi is very slow and doesn't work half the time. Power and usb outlets don't work. Carpet is dirty and lifting and we were in a renovated room. Not very safe to walk outside it's in a bad area at the end of the strip and far from everything!

A must do while in Vegas. Some amazing views to be had from the observation decks. $25 per person to go up and allows access for the whole day. Food and drink up the top isn't too expensive. There are packages for the various rides up there. We visited on a weekday at lunchtime and it wasn't too busy at all

Stayed for 3 nights for my birthday 02/24-27. When I called to confirm my reservation an agent offer me to upgrade to a new renovated and I agree to pay extra $39+tax. Hotel charged extra for resort fee of $49+tax. When I checked in and got out from elevator right away I smell skunk in the hallway. Hallway carpet is so filthy. Then when got into the room it was a disappointment no near upgraded room. Maybe motel rooms is cleaner than this hotel. I never had this kind of room in whole entire life of traveling. The hallway always smells like skunk and no one cleans our room had to ask towels from the housekeeping which happens to be cleaning rooms in our floor but she said she wasn't assigned to clear our rooms. This was already 6pm. When I asked if someone will clean she said maybe. The whole experience was terrible but I do not want to ruin my birthday. When I checked out I told the agent who checked me out that I am charged extra for an upgraded room but I did not feel it was upgraded. I was in room 12-604. He told me he will take it out of my bill. I have been contacting them and until now they have not taking care of my bill. Not heard and acknowledge my email to them. Avoid this place it's a SCAM. I'm fuming that my resort fee what more then the cost of my room. How can a resort fee be more expensive then the room rate. There is no driving water stations and the bar staff give you attitude when asking for a bacic cup of drinking water. How can a hotel not have access to fresh drinking water ?? What is my resort fee being used for ? Why provide a ice machine if there is no access to drinking water. The staff attitude stinks and not just one of them. They need to re-train there staff on customer service and the resort fee when I booked pluss tax was 180 at time of booking but when I checked in it was over 200. How can they change there resort fee on a whim? The pools are closed so sure they should be dropping the resort fee based on facilitys not being open to hotel gusts. We also pay resort fees to cover all the restaurants, bars and shops but you still have to pay and all the shops, bars and restaurants and they still expect a tip when the reception said my resort fees covers all amenities. I will and I do tip in america but I won't tip for shocking service. I would not come back to the Strat even if they was to offer me a free stay I would never come stay back here. It's a con and there are much better places in Vegas. Spend your vacation else where. The golden spike is an amazing budget friendly hotel for budget savy traveller's.

Had a great time. Checkin was smooth, quick, and friendly. Coffee shop restaurant was perfect. Room was clean, well prepared, and fine. Wifi was good. Shower was excellent. Casinp was friendly and well staffed. Valet parking was excellent.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The ice machine across from our room was leaking water causing wet carpet right outside our door. Staff put a loud floor dryer right outside our door which we had to deal with the entire time we were there. The room was run down and smelled awful. Also, our bathroom sink would not drain. Complained to the front desk and they did nothing about it. Just looked at me and said okay, is there anything else? Terrible response and terrible stay.

I had not stayed here in years and did not expect much but this was a terrible experience in every way possible. Check in took a really long time. The nightmare began at check in as they kept trying to up sell me on a different room. To make matters worse they sent me to the wrong elevator and wrote the wrong room number on the room key. I had to go all of the way back down across the hotel and wait to check in again. They did not even apologize for their screw up. So after another really long trip back up to the room I opened the door and wow lets just say it's the worst room I have ever stayed at in Las Vegas. I felt dirty just being in the room. The bathroom was beyond disgusting. My biggest complaint wasn't even the room it was the way the staff had an I don't care attitude at check in. On top of everything else they are now charging for parking. If you are thinking of staying there do not.

After reading the reviews was worried about my stay. However I was pleasantly surprised. The check in was smooth. The rooms in the Central are updated nice and very comfortable beds. There is a Starbucks downstairs which is very convenient for our mornings. We are traveling for softball so looking for comfortable beds and breakfast in the morning. In and out of the hotel is very easy. We will probably book again next month for our travels.

We've stayed here numerous time, 10+. But sadly it has declined badly over the years. We paid for a newly refurbished room ($1600 for 4 nights)… the standard was so poor, we changed rooms twice and in the end settled for the 3rd which I'd class as no better than 2 star. All you could smell in the corridors was drugs & all the reception team wanted was more money still to move to another room. We won't return - AVOID!

We stayed at the Strat Hotel Las Vegas from Monday to Friday the week before Super Bowl. We arrived early so, as expected, our standard room was not ready. We were offered an upgrade with a fridge and coffee maker that was available immediately or wait about 5 hours for our standard room to be ready. We accepted the upgrade. We get to our room and within seconds, housekeeping knocked on our door and asked if we were checking out. I said no, we just checked in. She didn't speak English very well and I am not sure if she understood. We were travelling with 3 other people (2 queen rooms and 1 single room total). The 2 queen rooms were next to each other but the single room was on the same floor but quite a distance away. We unpacked and as we left our room, another housekeeper asked us if we spoke Spanish (we do not) and if we were checking out. Again I replied no we just checked in. Our room was very far from the elevator (last room next to the ice machine) which surprised me since I walk with a cane. I did not request an accessible room as I have some mobility, although limited. Compared to our friends' rooms, the other queen room had no bathrobes, no slippers (but we did), they had a hair dryer but we did not. Not a big issue, but the hotel room amenities seem to be very inconsistent. Our pillows were very lumpy. The beds were ok (2 queen beds – I asked for a king at check-in but was told it was again more money so I declined it), however, the friend in the single room had a King bed , and he paid the same upgrade that we did. Housekeeping came only ONCE in 4 days (the day after we checked in). After 2 days without housekeeping, we called the evening before our check-out date and requested clean towels, toilet paper and coffee. We were out all day and did NOT leave the “do not disturb” sign as they implied. I then noticed that Housekeeping were knocking at every door on our floor asking guests if they needed towels or anything from housekeeping. Looks like they completely forgot to clean the rooms on our floor for the last couple of days. We did the fast check-out (via the TV in the room) and have yet to get a receipt for our stay. On the bright side, we never had to wait more than 30 seconds for an elevator, which was impressive. We did not eat nor drink at the hotel, nor did we use the Casino onsite so I cannot comment on those services. Snacks and drinks at Essentials was a bit pricey, but when you compare it to the Vegas strip, it's pretty much the same. I don't think I would stay here again if I can avoid it. There are better hotels for the same or close to the same price.

The first surprise was the undisclosed $20 per day parking fee for hotel guests. The resort was high though the pool area is closed. We are there now and will use it as a base but dine and gamble elsewhere off the strip. They have gotten enough from us already.

Really they are a big rip off. My brothers first time there for his birthday and he will never go back again after the way we were treated. What you see in the pictures is not what you get either. Our trip was planned through Price Line and that will never happen again. Trying to get back everything except for airfare through our bank for they took out more than what they were suppose to. By the way Strat this will be copied so that you cannot erase like you did the other complaints and or pictures. No restaurants', gaming rip off, no clean rooms, no tv no coffee no swimming no entertainment. Only thing we got to do is go to the top without our drinks for my brothers birthday they took a picture and never got it as well. We were there for January 7 to the10th of January. Too spooky to leave the area smelled real bad of marijuana had others call us crackers and wanted to sell us dope. I have pictures of the dirt and the rooms.

They stole my money from my account. I paid for a room with my PayPal account but they stole additional 45$ from my another account. I try to refund my money but they don't answer. The room was dirty and dusty. There was a vending machine next to my room. It was very noisy almost all the night. The door of the tv cabinet was broken. The refrigerator in the room was dirty and with a bad smell. I booked the room with Airbnb and they don't want to help me to refund my money.

We booked this hotel for a few days stay before flying home. We had a hire car as we had travelled to LA. Saw this hotel had parking and was on at a good price (before taxes). We had seen reviews rating this hotel as a 7 out of 10 and thought it must be ok having not long had a refurb. What a big mistake we made booking this hotel. We got there and were told in the booking parking was free however that was not the case. We were told we had to use an app to sort out parking for us to come and go. Finally parked and headed in. Unfortunately as soon as we got into the hotel we were harassed by the so called body snatcher. They would not take no for an answer and when I asked were they there to check us in and they said no we managed to escape. The line for checking in was crazy long and we had to do an automatic check in. They said we could up grade but after taxes the room was no longer a good price and now also having to pay for parking. The lifts to the room were disgusting. Left over drinks in them and damaged from what you can only assume is drunken behaviour. Got out the lift and the hallway was very old and heavily trafficked. The room was dark not a lot of lighting. Beds were clean but the area around the room was not. Heavy dust and stained walls. There was no point in changing rooms as we had plans the next day and did not plan on spending time in this room. First night wasn't too noisy. The food place were closed and I was not paying to go into the tower when were guests in the hotel. That should be free. The second night was awful constantly hearing drunk noisy people all night running up and down the hall way. We decided to leave early had to do a key drop as the line for checkout was crazy long. I would never stay in this hotel again. Also as far as room refurbished goes the room we had definitely had not been refurbished. Also to be constantly harassed by people when you are coming and going from the hotel trying to make you buy tickets and time share is a joke Avoid this hotel.

Arrived early & told no rooms ready in tower we wanted but they would text us when they were. Text never came. When we returned later in the day we were told there were no rooms in that tower available unless we wanted to "upgrade to a remodeled room w coffee & HD TV" @ $30/night + tax. For convince we did. The TV didn't work & when my husband called to report it he was rudely told "nothing can be done about it, it is our service provider". When I called the next day a different agent told me she could deduct 1 day of upgrade fee. Upon checking my bill I find that she never did that, just told me so to get me off the phone. Everyone in my group (10 year old hockey players) were located all over the hotel & each were told if they wanted to be closer to each other only the upgraded rooms were available. Also, they charge for parking $22 and their system is difficult to use & understand. We will not be returning there.

The room was not made - the bed was not made - trash was not picked up. As per "zack," this is part of the green initiative. There is nothing green about this. I understand not changing linens every day, but it makes no sense to not dispose of trash, refill the in-room coffee service, or make the bed. I am really upset both at the lack of service as to the way "zack" told me that it is my mess and that I have to take care of doing the bed myself. I don't think this is what I paid for, and I would definitely never again be staying in this hotel. I do not recommend it. You are charged for everything, including parking but not getting the basic service I would expect from a hotel.

Was a little afraid to go here looking at the recent reviews but all in all not bad. No fridge was a bit annoying in the middle of the desert. Did not hear my neighbours directly but the slamming doors where extremely annoying, apparently doorknobs are not a thing anymore. Also no warm water in the shower in the evening. Don't go out the side door by yourself, definetly shady people there, and yes the smell of weed was outside and in the hallway, not in the room fortunatly, also room was clean as far as i could tell.

I don't understand the other reviews, I have just come back from a week holiday at The Strat and it was an amazing time. The room was clean, the hotel was great and all the staff were perfect. No problems at all... which is why I don't understand all negative comments. This hotel is great. It is a little far off the end of the strip but you can pickup a bus outside the hotel and get up town very easy. Also they run a free shuttle bus to downtown which is great and easy to use.

checked in after long flight from UK A.C not working. unable to change rooms but they did get it working. Cleaner literally only ever emptied the bins. Dirty face cloth under the sink on arrival, still there when we checked out. Restaurant staff cant tell the difference between white wine and rose. Very average hotel, not worth a stay

It's out of the way of everything. It's outdated. You can't walk outside not recommended. They leave like 2 towels. I ask for 2 more never get it. I would spend extra and find a better hotel. You get what you pay for.

I checked in early and was told I would be put on floor 19, upgraded from my booking…. Instead I am on floor 8 looking at duct work and ac units… when I finally got my key and asked about floor 19, I was told … room probably was not ready! Feel like bait and switch…. I would not recommend this hotel! Although the staff are all very nice.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The stench from the toilets is unbearable. The carpets stick as you walk on them. The staff, when asked to move rooms, say they will call security if you don't go back to your room, or check out. I could say more, but why bother, they'll never change, just don't go there....

I've stayed at the "The Strat" (Previously The Stratosphere) many times over the years. It never fails to disappoint further each visit. The first being there is now a substantial parking fee for self-parking. If you want to want to park on any floor near to the Elevators there is an additional parking fee. When checking in what may have been a reasonable fee for staying there is escalated by extortionate resort fee US$45-50.00 per night. They now charge to go up the tower even when you reside there US$25.00 per person per day, they do however reduce the cost of that for patrons to US$14.00 per person per day price varies daily. The price for the thrill rides is out of control. The original room I was allocated was not very good, but the check-in lady was very nice and helpful and changed me to a better room and it was comfortable. In this room the amenities were limited to a fridge and a coffee maker, these, I found out were not provided for the cheaper rooms. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss but on discussion with the concierge it improved markedly. The hotel has downgraded a fair bit in that the shopping centre that was on the 2nd floor is virtually nonexistent now and shops are boarded up. The restaurants/cafes of old have mostly disappeared. A large proportion of the 1st floor has been blocked off. The Stage Shows were still OK but dated.

Avoid the Strat. Your first shock is a hefty parking fee per day. Then you check in and find the night stay is not 35.00 because they add a 42.50 resort fee. When you get to your room there is no soap or shampoo and no small refrigerator. The employees are not happy and Security is intrusive. Stay away at all costs.

I had reserved three rooms for one night online. When arrived asked to add another night. I was not charged the rate that it was online. The TV's didn't work in either room. They didn't know when they would work again. The ice machines were on a floor above or a floor below. The following day I was told we were scheduled for checkout and my next day that I requested when I arrived was on standby. I refused the second night cause nothing to watch on TV. They charge a resort fee for non working items. Manager was rude. On my way back home my credit card was hacked and someone used all 700 of my credit available. I will never go to that hotel and I don't recommend it to anyone. I ended up at 4 queens with cheaper rates and alot better service. We were there for a wedding that Sunday

Booked a suite and was told at check in the room was no longer available to us. Spent the next day at the hotel waiting to be put in the correct room, wasted 2 days of our vacation. The first room was dirty, the furniture was worn down. Smelled of cigarettes through the vent. I didn't unpack and we slept(barely) in our clothes on top of the sheets. While waiting to get the keys to our original room we booked, a woman came down with all her luggage (unhappy) showing the attendants bite marks on her clothes and arms. And then the staff came out and started wrapping her belongings in bags. The second room we were given was upgraded in a newer part of the tower and was decent. Wish I would have spent the money on a place at the top of the strip. I would have had all 5 days of my vacation to enjoy versus 3.

Was really disappointed in my stay. For an upgraded room there was only a coffee pot and fridge. That was definitely not worth it. Saw cockraoches in the elevators and hallways. They were at least an inch big. Upon telling hotel staff they didn't seem to care. Half the pool was close and life guards weren't paying attention to guests. Couples having sex in the pool infront of kids.

Our room smelled like burnt latex condoms the entire stay. when we called they never came to alleviate the smell. Then later on, i was walking across the street back to the hotel with some alleged "drug dealer" trying to sell me a cell phone. I declined and went upstairs to take a shower. no more than 2 mins into my shower and I have 3 members of hotel security in my room accusing me of buying drugs. I am butt naked where they wont let me put on clothes, then continue to proceed to drink our alcohol. one of the security guards asked how much money I had, when i told him he demanded for me to give him half. his reasoning was to "keeop me out of jail" when they never found any drugs or contraband whatsever in my room. they then kicked me out of my hotel room with no proof of any drugs or drug activity. then laughed as they tld me that i was going to get mugged walking across the street which was my only way to go. had to get a whole other hotel room after being completely hustled and scared into submission by the security team. besides this, the hotel is garbage, casino is garbage, hotel staff was unfriendly and invasive, will not only be filing charges against the security team, but will never set foot inside the strat again.

A 3 day hotel stay. Upon check in, our room was dirty. We headed back to registration to get a room change or our money back. The front desk help was very short and not courteous at all. No apologies! The second day we attempted to go swimming and the pools were closed. We headed back to the front desk and got another rude and inconsiderate person. (Chistano) We politely asked if we could have our resort fees back due to the inconvenience and pool closing. He said he will need to call a supervisor. When he called the supervisor, He asked if they were giving compensation for the pool closing. Not the question we asked. I asked if he can contact the supervisor back and ask the specific question. He said no and I can go wait in another line to request a supervisor and basically told me don't talk while he is talking. RUDE! I requested a supervisor and she returned our resort fees! What a shame!
