« Convenient location very near airport »

This hotel provided a shuttle service from the airport. It was convenient to spend the night there and not have to take a redeye back to the east coast. Clean room with comfortable beds, helpful staff

« Noisy room and terrible breakfast. »

Pleasant staff, though on arrival we were disappointed that, having asked for a quiet room on the upper floor, we were allocated a room on the ground floor, right next to the hotel swimming pool which was full of kids having a good time (and making a lot of noise). We were told that the hotel was full. We were hoping to sleep during the afternoon having spent more than 24 hours travelling. The room was basic, and in real need of renovation, but all essentials were present. Although equipped with a refrigerator, it wasn't plugged in, so it took a while before we could cool anything. The two queen size beds were comfortable, with good pillows, so once the pool outside finally emptied, sleep was OK. Our breakfast experience wasn't great. I have a gluten allergy so am always pleased to see a sign saying that gluten-free alternatives are available. I asked a member of staff for some bread and was told ?We don't have bread'. When I drew her attention to the sign she replied ?We don't have bread, but we do have the sign'. Shortly after that my partner had to draw the attention of a member of staff to the bread cabinet where a bread roll with blue mould growing on it was clearly visible, and was swiftly removed, along with all the other contents of the cabinet. We won't be returning.

    « A Better Best Western »

Bobbi greeted me warmly and found me a good room at a reasonable rate (unfortunately, it was directly across from the ice machine). I had stayed the night before in a so-called Best Western in Laughlin and I was not as impressed as I am with this hotel near the Las Vegas strip and the airport. As opposed to the previous hotel, although not as spacious, this hotel's furnishings and color combinations make much better sense. I only have minor critiques to offer; the sink array is cramped (with a burned out center light bulb) and a white smear (paint or caulk) where the shower wall meets the tub. The accommodations are cozy but very comfortable and, as expected, immaculately clean. At this competitive price, this is a very good value.

    3
« Worth what you pay for. »

Thankfully this hotel has very reasonable prices. Their staff is very friendly, I was checked in by woman by the name of Bobbi I think. Their breakfast is basic, but very good quality. The only critiques I have was that the pool was a little dirty, it had like paper receipts and bugs floating in it. The gym hours seemed too short. And that our room's bathroom had a very weak fan/ventilator.

    5
    « Friendly and Clean »

The staff are always friendly. The property is clean inside and out, only exception for the outside is when the wind really picks up, but what can you do. The breakfast is hot and the ladies are super nice. The sound of the planes didn't bother us at all.

« Close to Las Vegas Airport and the Strip. »

Our room was upgraded and it was was absolutely lovely - it was a suite with two couches, chairs and luggage stands to hold your suitcases at the foot of the bed. It was very comfortable and inviting. The artwork on the walls was retro Vegas-style and nice. The room had internet, charging stations, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron. The room was very neat and clean. The free breakfast had many selections and was well laid-out. The staff here are very friendly and accomodating - the front desk will call for a cab and they have a shuttle that runs to the airport. This was our third stay here and we highly recommend it.

    3
    « Trying hard »

We have stayed here before on our way to Arizona or Utah so knew what to expect. The hotel offers airport shuttles and a good location for stop overs in or out of Vegas. Rooms are getting dated and a little more upkeep is in order. The hotel is generally clean and the breakfast area is spotless. Staff are friendly and helpful. As far as value for money goes, it us a little on the pricey side.

    4
« Nice Hotel for a Quick Stopover »

The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport so it's perfect for a quick stop if you are traveling onto someplace else. The room was clean and quiet. Nice assortment of breakfast items. Staff was very friendly.

    5
    « Heading home. »

The rooms were surprisingly large and confortable. WE found the room to be so quiet while being right next to the airport. Would have liked more space at the bathroom sink to place personal care items wihen two people or more are sharing the room. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We were on our way home after a two week trip through the Utah National parks.

    5
« Well priced and convenient »

This hotel is located about 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip but is well priced and the facilities are all you need. The hotel is clean with friendly staff. Buffet style breakfast was included in the price and the choice was good.

    « Just passing through »

Great service and friendly staff ! Good location near Airport and convenient for travellers . We were in Arizona and flew out from Nevada on a yearly basis now . The people at the Best Western are very helpful and have an outstanding attitude . We were very impressed by how friendly the staff was at the reception when we arrived .

« Yucky eggs and breakfast help.... agggghhh! »

Okay value. The elevator at this location needs replacing. It takes like... forever to go one floor. Why they took the stairs out going from the 2nd floor to the 1st is a mystery, but would be 1000 times faster than waiting for the elevator. Continental breakfast helper... crazy as a crack, and you won't like the reconstituted eggs! YUK!

« Never made it to the property due to their system failure »

On April 23rd we arrived at LAS and tried to call for the shuttle, but their local and 1-800 numbers reported "number not in service." We tried at the terminal travel info help desk and they got the same thing. We tried the corporate "Customer Service" numbers and they got the same thing and had no answer as to how to get in touch with this property. We tried their website to see if there was an "Alert" -- nothing. We looked for a posting or message in what we thought would be the shuttle pickup area - nothing. We called the corporate numbers again - nothing. Given that their own website says "you must call and get location and time of pickup", we kept trying -- NOTHING after two hours of good faith effort. Come to find out later they had a "system outage for several hours." They claimed to have had shuttles going during those hours ... but not where we were. They made no effort to inform us by web, call, or posting at the presumed shuttle spot. And then blamed us "for missing the shuttle!" Corporate Customer Service through out was useless at best. The property was not reachable by phone and they made no effort at any of the alternative means of informing us of the system outage and what to do. It may well be a very nice place; we wouldn't know because they were unreachable ... AND STILL EXPECTED TO GET PAID! OUTRAGEOUS!!

« Friendly service very close to airport »

After a long drive to fly from home early the next morning from LAS, we selected this motel for its value, proximity to airport and shuttle service. It filled the bill. The bed was comfortable and front desk personnel could not have been friendlier.

« A friendly place for a last minute stay near Las Vegas airport »

The welcome we received from the checkin clerk was second to none. We were rushes as needed to return our rental car. He not only booked us in in under 5 minutes but also gave us directions to the free shuttle back to the hotel. The room was quiet and comfortable but my husband found the bed too hard for a good sleep. Breakfast in the morning was good. Not a huge choice but sausages and eggs with multiple choices of toast, bagels etc and I got to make my own waffle. Fresh fruit was the highlight- something I hadn't had for the preceding 5 days in Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Locality was good as it's only about a block down Tropicana to the strip and a 10-15 minute walk down Paradise will take you to a few different eating options. Avoid the overpriced Italian place if you're an Aussie - our waiter repeated everything my husband said in a bad Australian accent. The meal cost A$200 and we only ordered mains and a drink!

« Great location. Modern, clean and accommodating staff »

Boy, it's tough to find a hotel in Las Vegas. I mean, you can find thousands. But it's hard to know what you'll get. I had a conference to get to and an early bird flight on the day. There are hundreds of services, thousands of locations. But what if you want something close to The Strip, but not on it? I actually booked this hotel third. Two were stabs in the dark, but I made sure they were cancellable, because I wasn't sure they would be suitable. I mean, clean, not old, and preferably with a shuttle to/from the airport. I cancelled the first 2 at the suggestion of of a friend who'd lived in Vegas. For the Best Western, she thought it was "okay," but there might be too much noise from planes taking off and landing. Well, none of that was a problem, at all. The hotel was so convenient for us. To get to the venue of the conference. To get to the strip. To meet someone on Boulder Hwy for breakfast. And it was on the edge of Paradise Road which goes right to the airport. So our early flight home was a cinch, and a 10 minute (max) ride. The hotel is modern. The room was comfortable and spacious. It had charge stations everywhere, and we have 3 devices requiring that. The air/heat unit was efficient, effective and quiet. I loved that the vanity was outside the tub/toilet bathroom. Great for 2 people. There was a refrigerator, great for my bottles of water. And a coffeemaker, which we didn't use. Hotel included breakfast... continental on steroids... good coffee, yogurts, a cereal bar with add-ins you could choose for your oatmeal. Scrambled eggs, crumbled sausage. Wafflemaker. Bread, bagels, toaster. Cold cereal. All in a modern breakfast area. Served every morning 6a-10a. Our room was right off the breakfast area, but it was quiet. No bothersome noise from planes. 10 minute walk to 30 restaurants. We didn't have a car. First time. But between walking and Lyft, and even the city bus, we did great. Oh, the bus: you can get a 24-hour pass. If you get it on Las Vegas Blvd (the Strip), it's more expensive than if you get it where we were. It was only $5 for each of us for the day. Did that one day too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It so happened that the shuttle was only for airport runs, so if you wanted to go elsewhere, you were on your own. But Lyft and Uber are lightning fast and very reasonable. The hotel did have soft earplugs in the room. I guess, it was for the planes. But we didn't need them at all. I didn't even see them until the night before we left (our third night). This was a great choice for a hotel stay. It was nice to be in a more civilized part of Vegas. Maybe a mile off the Strip but easily negotiable. And perfect for the airport, and where our conference was near the University of Las Vegas.

    « Great Stay »

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and just enough for a relaxing and nicely priced weekend in Vegas. Loved the location near the UNLV campus and within a Lyft service ride to the strip. Next time we will utilize the Airport Shuttle and Lyft everywhere. Liked the recent remodel and great breakfast. Overall a great place for the price and location. Thanks.

« Yes, It's very near the airport...but- WOW! Great service! »

After a stay in Las Vegas for a conference, I decided to stay at the Best Western McCarran Inn for my last night in town. I had a super early flight out, and I wanted to be close to the airport. This was a near perfect Best Western experience. The only negative thing I can say, is it is directly in the flight path of planes taking off, which makes it loud. Knowing this, the room has earplugs on the table waiting for you. Now on to the good: 1. Clean. Wow, clean! Floors, every surface area, remote control, TV, bathroom, check in, bedding, shower heads...all of it was spotless. This counts BIG for me. 2. Service. Such a warm and friendly staff. eager to help. From teh front desk at check in, to the cleaning lady, to the shuttle driver in te morning, the team was really remarkably nice, and went out of their way to make your stay pleasant. 3. The rooms. Nice size, GREAT price, and really close to teh airport, and not too far from the strip. It was an $11 UBER ride to teh Palms from there- just to give you an idea. Great stay.

    « Good airport option »

This was a very good hotel option for easy access to the airport. The room basic, clean and affordable. The Complimentary breakfast was accompanied by extremely friendly, attentive and helpful staff which was a great way to start the day.

    2
« Smells funny and bad waffles »

The staff was nice and helpful but the hotel had a strange smell. The bathtub was clogged and slow to drain so you were standing in water. The breakfast room was small and the waffles tasted funny. We had to clean the pool ourselves as it had leaves and debris.

    « Location »

We were flying out at 7 am so we chose to stay near the airport. The staff was helpful providing directions and suggesting local places for dinner. We returned our rental car that evening and shuttled to the airport where the BW shuttle picked us up and took us back the McCarran. The shuttle started at 5 am and got is to the airport quickly. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. We did laundry that night and came home with some clean clothes. The only downside was the room was a bit small for 2 adults and children ages 14 & 10 but being so close to the airport we would stay there again..

    4
    « Good service »

Good service from all the staff. The breakfast food offered was so average though the ladies serving breakfast are above average with their kindness, great attitude and service. They made my morning so enjoyable and I would give them a standing ovation.

    « Our Go-To Airport Hotel »

This place is convenient, clean, and offers a good breakfast. We've been here before and will continue to use it in the future because of this. One word of advice though. This was the first time I have had a car at the hotel and I was told I had to pay for parking on the web site. When I got there I was told I did not need to pay. Do not pay for parking online and save yourself the money.

    4
    « Nice hotel! »

Our first time staying here. Room was clean and large. Airport is close but you do not hear the planes. Comfy bed and soft towels. Would stay here again. A little tricking getting to the hotel from the south, we had a GPS which helped.

    5
    « Memphis diva »

My stay was pleasant the staff was very helpful and friendly when I come back in June I will be staying here. It's very close to the airport and the strip very comfortable and quiet it has a microwave and refrigerator in the room when I come back I will stock up at the grocery story for water and drinks and things to eat because everything is so expensive to purchase

    4
    « Very Clean & Friendly »

With the exception of noisy guests slamming doors until early in the morning, we had a very pleasant stay. This is our 2 or 3rd stay at this property. Staff are very friendly and facilities are very nice. Close to the airport and the hotel offers van service to the airport!

    4
« Best customer service in Vegas »

Every staff member I met were friendly and very helpful. They work great as a team. They offered shuttle service to and from the airport even after I dropped off my rental car they pick me up from the airport. The only complaint that I would have is that they need a little better Carpet Cleaning Service, as my White socks were dingy after walking on their floor. Other than that it was a great experience.

    4
    « Near Airport/UNLV »

We didn't really need/want to be on the strip; we were hiking nearby. The hotel is near UNLV and the airport. We like to walk so we could and did walk to the strip one day and to grocery shop. The immediate area is odd with some large stretches of empty lots. We were okay with it, though some folks might find the surrounds less than pleasing. The breakfast was good; the usual variety of cereals, yogurt, eggs and various toasts. The women supervising breakfast was extremely attentive and friendly. There were several kinds of fruit. We liked having a microwave and fridge in the room. While it is very close to the airport we didn't hear planes while in the room; it was pretty quiet.

    5
« Comfortable Stay; Friendly Staff »

Free breakfast with many choices; clean and comfortable accommodations. No complaints. I chose this hotel for our last night in Las Vegas after a trip to the Grand Canyon because it was near the airport, so it was very convenient!

    5
    « Great location »

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Very clean hotel. Nice rooms. Beds a little stiff but same as most hotels we've stayed at. Good breakfast selection. I highly recommend this hotel! Would stay again! Thank you!

    « Happy Family Stay! »

Spacious and clean room, comfort bed, and great hot breakfast! Very satisfied! The only con part is that the hotel is very close to the airport (west side). If you are sensitive to noise, ask the check-in staff to assign you a room on the other (east) side and use the ear bud during sleep.

    5
    « Location and staff A-1 »

This hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle to and from the airport every 30 minutes. Great breakfast and a nice selection. Cold water available in the lobby and free wifi. The staff, (we met Rayleen, Leatha, Rick) are friendly and courteous. We had a late night flight and an late checkout was offered without asking... and they kept our bags in the hotel so we could enjoy our last day. A staff member recommended the Route 91 Harvest Memory Garden at 1015 South Casino Center Boulevard. Visit if you can and see what grassroots ordinary people can do just one week after a horrific tragedy. Stay here if you want a welcoming and relaxing stay.

    3
    « Las Vegas BW »

It was OK for the one night we were there. Not any close restaurants close by and there is no shuttle service to the strip. They did have menus for order in but the place we order from showed a $10 minimun but when called it was a $15 minimum. The one nice thing was the shuttle to and from the airport if you didn't have a car or rent a car

    4
« Decent one Night Stay »

We had a late night flight into Vegas before continuing on with our trip and stayed here in a double room with a pull out bed. The room was clean, roomy and had a good breakfast. The pillows could use up grading, but that would be my only complaint. The breakfast had waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cottage cheese, breads and fruit. The breakfast attendant was exceptionally friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. We would stay again if we come back through Vegas. I liked that there wasn't any gambling as we were with our children.

    4
« Close to airport, tiny rooms, friendly service »

This BW is fine for a night's stay if you need easy access to the airport. Rooms are very small. Beds are comfy. Shower has great water pressure. Nice breakfast with hot items. Staff is very friendly. Noise from aircraft is quite noticeable, but hotel provide ear plugs! Nice touch. They also gave us a welcome bag upon check-in with snacks and water bottles. Very thoughtful!

    4
« Great place for a quick stay over in Vegas »

The amentities were great- close to strip & airport. Free parking. Nice breakfast. Pool area was nice, but freezing in March. Hotel room was clean. We had some issues with noise, not even from the airport, just crying kids way too early in the morning! But overall if in the area, I'd return.

    1
    « NOISE!!!!! »

This hotel and guest rooms are fine. What is not fine is the noise. The hotel is in the flight path of departing airplanes. This went on until well after 1:00am. Planes taking off every 10 minutes! Forget about relaxing in your room or sleeping. Not always like this according to staff. Who knows??

    5
    « easy peasy »

Professional staff, easy to get to (once you know how), next to airport. Rooms are clean and tidy with little amenities provided. Front desk gave me a gift bag when i arrived which was a nice touch. I am a Gold member and they treat me like it.

    1
« Too many negative aspects to make closeness to airport worth it »

Overall, I will not return to nor do I recommend Best Western McCarran Inn. Although there was some recent attempt at renovations, the room still felt dated with the overall atmosphere feeling more like a random motel. The room and beds didn't feel clean. The bathroom sink is right next to the entrance and hardly has any countertop space. The worst part was the toilet had a giant rust (or maybe something else?) that made it looked like there was feces and unclean. It was disgusting to look at and it was uncomfortable using the toilet. The front desk did offer to move us to another room but after a long day of traveling, we really didn't want to have to pack up and move. We didn't eat the breakfast because it looked disgusting and unedible. The gym was very narrow and cramped. Even though you could hear rumbling of planes (we were on top floor), it surprisingly wasn't that bad and not as frequent as I expected. The only good point about this hotel was the location being somewhat close to the strip and airport. That's not enough to return, however.

    4
    « Decent place, but... »

The facilities are fine, and getting better. There are many improvements in progress. My reservation was for one night stay, and for parking my car in the lot for my trip. The staff is nice and helpful. My issue is simple; my debit card was charged twice for the same stay, and the second charge was for more money. So it wasn't even a duplicate charge. I found this out after I got back in the country. I stopped at the desk, and the helpful people assured me that ?this happens all the time'. I was also assured that my account would be credited within about four hours. We are in hour twenty, and my account still has not been credited. Watch your transaction histories folks!

    « Great staff »

We were warmly welcomed by the evening's manager, Ricky, provided an upgrade for our visit, given great instructions on how to navigate the immediate area, and enjoyed a restful night's sleep. Although the inn was not new and going through a bit of remodeling, the friendly staff made up for whatever inconveniences. Leatha (spelling), the breakfast hostess, was very warm and helpful. The breakfast was above average and we really enjoyed the special way she served us. We would stay there again as it is a great first stop when you land later at night in Las Vegas (as we had done), or take advantage of the free shuttle to the airport. Great crew, thanks to all!

    5
    « So very impressed!!! »

Made reservation based on being close to airport in Vegas and my brothers recommendation. I can't say enough great stuff about this hotel. It was under a bit of construction but the room was already updated, clean , and what really made it special was every employee I dealt with. From check-in to check-out each employee I dealt with was super friendly and helpful. I discovered while at my gate at airport I left my jacket in my room. I called front desk and they sent someone to find it. They gave me instructions on how to have it returned to me. As it was my late husbands jacket, there were very personal feelings involved. Can't tell you how much I appreciate their help.

    3
    « Interesting location »

Close to airport, shuttle service, busy getting on and out. Room had a musty smell, however, overall was clean and tidy. Breakfast food area is small, with renovations taking place. Almost a 4 star rating from me.

« Best Western to the Rescue »

I cannont express enough gratitude to this hotel and their amazing staff, specifically James who checked me in. I had an incredibly long day of travel and had an exceptionally long layover at the airport and decided to book a room for a just a one night stay, all I really wanted was a place to sleep other than the airport. I had made reservations at on of the resorts on the strip but unfortunately there was an error in my reservation and long story short I could not check in and get my much needed rest and it was already approaching 1 AM. I found this Best Western and took another Uber basically all the way back to the airport after having spent $20 making my way to the strip. I was more than a little frustrated and just wanted to get some rest. I arrived at the hotel and James went above and beyond to ensure I would have a good night's rest and made sure everything would be easy for. Thank you so much!

    3
    « Convenient to airport »

This is probably THE closest hotel to McCarren Airport in Las Vegas. They have a very convenient airport shuttle which runs every half hour. Airport shuttles are rare in Las Vegas. The staff was pleasant and my room was clean. However, I would probably not stay here again unless I needed to be close to the airport. There are no amenities at this hotel, not even a restaurant within walking distance. The hallways were dim and the carpets had not been vacuumed recently. My room was clean but nothing special.

    4
    « Park and Fly »

Stayed the night and left car at hotel for the week I was gone. All was clean and shuttle made it easy. Had an early flight the next morning so this was a good solution for me. Shuttle took 30 minutes to pick me up when I returned so that was my only complaint.

    3
    « Stay »

Our stay was fair, price quoted when we reserved room was more when we arrived. Close to airport was nice, nice staff. Shuttle service to airport was outstanding. I recommend you finish your renovation.

    5
« This turned out to be one of our BEST hotel stays ever!! »

Dang, I see the other reviews and my reaction is so totally different from those negative ones. We did not have a car, so that may be a key difference. Also, this hotel is not on the Strip and has no slot machines or other machines for gambling. For me, that is a huge plus for my hotel. Besides, the Strip is less than a 10 minute ride away. I used Lyft for the first time ever and spend less than 50% of what a rental car would have cost, plus had no worries about gas, traffic, and parking! The hotel is quiet, clean (even with renovations occurring), and comfortable. The location is right next to the airport and we never noticed plane noise. We did ask for and received a room on the far side of the hotel from the airport. The complimentary breakfast has a wide selection of foods, from fruit to cereals and oatmeal to eggs to waffles and pancakes. The food was tasty and better than most hotel breakfasts. The staff kept the breakfast area very clean. There is a laundry area for guests (that we did use), a gym (that we didn't use), and an airport shuttle (that we used a couple times). The staff is amazing. Everyone, from desk clerks to the women who worked on the rooms, are helpful and friendly. They work hard and they act like they are happy to be working at this hotel. There were times when they would be singing joyous songs while they worked! The rest of our group had to stay at one of the hotels on the Strip. I got to see a lot of the Strip hotels. Unless there is a clear reason why you have to stay on the Strip, I highly recommend that you stay at the Best Western and travel to the Strip for whatever activities you wish to find.

generally i tend to write reviews to blurt out my emotions when things go wrong... but this is a concoction. my gut feel is not good when i arrived here. parking is lot is more than full and no space left to even park temporarily. when i warily entered the reception, lot of construction and closed areas and the ambiance made me feel like i made a mistake. the person at the check in was fast asked to leave the keys and they would take care of parking and gave me a token to get my keys back. once i am in the room area in 3rd floor it was much better, rooms though dated were clean , quiet and bang for the buck i am paying. microwaves in-room it is 1 mile away from strip or MGM. breakfast is open till 9 am and 10 on weekends which is good. the energy of the lady in the breakfast room is contagious. during day of checkout when i shared my plans of parking luggage with them after checking and return late in evening to take shuttle to airport, they were ok also extended checkout till 2 pm. there is a rtc bus stop close by, where you can return from strip easily. 2$ one way and 5$ 24 hr pass

« No parking, under staffed »

We stayed one night at this hotel. Arriving we found cars parked 3 and 4 deep and no place for us. We were finally squeezed in at a 5th level deep and were worried they would make a 6th and block us in. Breakfast was in a guest room and what few items they offered were mostly out. The stairs between the first and second level were removed and no posted fire exit directions. I am sure there had to be stairs on the outside somewhere but no directions to find them. Only one person at the front desk trying to check people in, take care of patrons that found issues while trying to squeeze cars onto the property as the owners sold the hotel patron parking to people that had flown out for the holidays. I tried to get a lamp working and found the cord disappeared under the wall baseboard. The cord showed up again and plugged into an octopus behind the TV. 6 items plugged in to one outlet. Only one open plug available to plug in my computer and charge my personal devices. Way over priced for the quality of hotel and even worse taking in the problems imposed on those staying there.

« Should be called 'Worst Western' »

There are multiple issues with this property and the service offered here. 1. The parking lot was beyond full when we arrived, with cars double parked and no space to even temporarily park the car anywhere on the premises just to check in. It seems they offer airport off-site parking, so hotel guests have to look elsewhere if the lot fills up. Would not have chosen to stay here if we knew about the parking situation. 2. We did not get house keeping service in the room for 2 straight days. The first morning, we left at 10 am, expecting the room to be cleaned by the time we returned at 5 pm. It wasn't and so requested service from the housekeeper on the floor. After waiting another half hour, finally called front desk to at least replace towels and empty garbage, which was done. The next morning, specifically told the housekeeper who was on the floor to clean the room as we left at 10 am. When we returned around 11 pm, the room was in the exact condition we left it in - beds not made, bathroom not cleaned, garbage not emptied, no clean towels. Called front desk to complain, but the guy said we would have to talk to morning person and he couldn't really help us. He provided us the towels we requested. 3. Lobby area is under construction, causing some messiness and crowding. Our first morning, breakfast was in a very dark and dingy room. Overall, we experienced extremely poor customer service at this hotel. This has been my worst experience with any hotel and I would not stay at this property again. In fact, this experience has convinced me to avoid Best Western properties in general.

Motel room was clean, close to road so there was road noise, but it was fine, not disruptive. Continental breakfast is a great bonus! Restaurants were nearby. Staff was friendly. View was spectacular.

    « Comfy Stay »

This Best Western is an excellent location to stay at when flying into or out of Las Vegas. The room is spacious and very clean. I stay here every time I fly out of Vegas. They offer a reasonably priced fly and park package with a shuttle to and from the airport. Their free breakfast offers many choices.

    2
    « Bad customer service »

Pool was closed after we called ahead to make sure it was open. Manager on duty said she could not let us go to another motel, we would be charged anyway. Called the manager a few days later and she was unsympathetic, telling us the pool closure was not their fault, and it was "on the website" (but not when we reserved the room). To be fair, the Breakfast was good.

    « Very Surprised! »

What great value for the dollar. Even though this hotel was under construction during my stay, it was clean and very quiet. The staff were helpful and efficient. I will stay with Best Western again. Ironic this was the cheapest hotel I stayed at while on a business trip and it was the nicest!

« Great Hotel - Close to the Airport and Las Vegas Strip »

Always a great hotel for either a leisure or business stay. The area is extremely safe with restaurants and casinos close by. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast and the hotel staff is phenomenal. The wifi was fast and the free shuttle to the airport was on time, clean and the driver was very friendly!

« "Best" Western Hotel by McCarran Airport, Las Vegas »

Highly recommend staying here for any reason..... Rooms are very clean, very convenient for getting to and from the airport, only 1/2 a mile..... The staff is always very friendly each time I have stayed here.

    3
    « Helpful staff »

Due to construction the hotel suite room is below average. But staff was friendly and helpful during my stay so overal experience is okay. I hope the hotel will have been improved, particularly with new room facilities e.g. current air con and fridge were too loud

« This location is nothing like it shows online. »

A.c. was not working. Extremely hot. There was only a fitted sheet and one sheet on top no blanket(not that I needed it because it was hot) room had a strong odor. I called front desk and they told me there was no blankets but I could get an extra sheet.

    « Great staff! »

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, from front desk to shuttle drivers. The hotel is very conveniently located near McCarran Airport for a very short shuttle ride to catch a flight. The rooms seemed rather cramped but served the purpose for a night's stay before flying out early the next morning.

    « Disappointing Stay »

I shouldnt have booked this stay at Best Western. My previous experience in the same week with Best Western at Bryce wasnt great but this was worst. Why was nothing mentioned that a heavy construction is going on in the hotel. I was allergic to all the debris and construction powder all over the place. I was sneezing all the time due to this. The foul smell was not only on 1st floor but also on the second floor. The breakfast wasnt great and when I entered the room to heat some of my OWN food, where the breakfast was being brought from I was awestruck. It was hot and so tiny that I feel our food must have been on the floor with germs all around. Didnt seem hygienic. I had not paid my money to have such a bad experience.

    3
    « Construction and noise »

This stay did not meet the standard I usually receive from Best Western. While some of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, most of the lobby was encased in plastic due to construction. The breakfast did not offer any meat choices. 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there were kids running up and down the hall making all kinds of commotion with their mother coming behind them screaming and cursing at them at one in the morning. It was terrible!!

    3
« Good shuttle service and comfortable beds »

Efficient staff, comfortable room and beds, good shuttle service from the nearby airport. But not near any restaurants so you'll starve unless you have transportation. Hot breakfast has a variety of options and it was very good, with a happy and cheerful attendant. Really awful chemical smell in the hallways and public areas, but may be due to the on-going construction. I was there to attend a funeral, otherwise Las Vegas doesn't appeal to me.

    1
    « Noisy & Renovation Ugh »

Hotel under runway, so noisiest stay anywhere. Renovation going on and hotel should have been closed as it took up more than 50% of hotel space. If they closed and worked constantly, it would take less time and not inconvience guests. At least guest should know prior to staying or when making reservation.

    4
« Good for Price, but Loud Airplane Noise Overhead »

This hotel is extremely convenient to the airport, however the airplanes fly directly overhead, constantly, making it very loud and difficult to sleep. We had to turn the fan on high just to drown out the airplane noise, and that didn't completely do it. Other than that, the stay was good, the breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly and professional. The best part was being so close to the airport.

    5
« Convenient location to the airport »

This hotel is maybe a 10 minute drive from the airport. When I arrived, the shuttle had already stopped running so I had to take a cab, which was about $15. The only purpose of staying at this hotel was the convenient location near the airport. The room was clean and had a good size with two queen beds. Breakfast was included and it contained the standard fare- pastries, toast, cereal, waffles, etc. The shuttle back to the airport was running frequently in the morning.

    2
    « Won't stay again »

Wow where do I begin? We picked this hotel since they have breakfast and you don't have to pay resort fees like on the strip. They are remodeling which is a good thing since the decor looks like the eighties all over again. Smells like stale smoke, sheets so thin you can see through them, keys didn't work when we got to the room housekeeping was nice enough to let us in. Shower curtain didn't fit in the tub so the floor was soaking wet after a shower. People running up and down the halls acting crazy and loud. It's an airport hotel so I can't complain too much about the plane noise, there are earplugs in the room btw! It just felt old and dingy. Definitely didn't want to inspect things too closely we are keeping our fingers crossed there's no bed bug issues. Some of the clientele seemed really scketchy. Stay here at your own risk. The price was better than the strip, I guess it's a trade off vs. high price for a better room.

« Swimming in "Heated Pool" was like Polar Plunge! »

The heated pool, which I was assured was set @ nearly 80 degrees had obviously NOT functioned for days as it was like ice! No exaggeration! The pillow top mattresses were too soft & there was no option for a firm bed for my bad back. (Made worse by the fact that I Could not swim in a heated pool!)

    4
    « Good stay »

Overall this Best Western was very good. The pillows were a bit overstuffed for my preference, but the beds were comfortable. Glad to have a mini fridge and microwave, one of the reasons I usually choose a Best Western for any stays out of town I have.

« Very Convenient Hotel for Vegas Airport »

I decided to try this hotel after seeing its proximity to the Vegas Airport on a previous trip. I arrived late in the evening and just needed a simple place to stay over until my flight the next day. This place was perfect. Reasonably priced, nice room, good free breakfast, and the best thing was the free shuttle. I simply called the hotel, they directed me to pick up and within 25 minutes of getting off the plane I was in the lobby! It is not the Ritz Carlton but definitely worth the price and located close to MGM Grand and Tropicana Ave. Check in was easy, people were great, all in all very satisfied.

    « Highly Recommend »

I really feel like finding the BW /McCarren Inn close to the airport in Las Vegas is a wonderful discovery. I plan to let our children know about this. We do not like to stay on the "strip", especially since the latest massacre there. This hotel is wonderful.

    « Good Rating »

We were happy with the room at he price we paid. Breakfast was good and the lady taking care of the food was extremely friendly and cheery. It was easy to get to from the airport and close to all activities.

    5
    « Going home »

This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was the bed needed a new mattress, and they only had hard pillows. I would definitely stay with this hotel again

    5
« Good price for what you get! »

Within minutes of the airport this is a great place to stay whether you are coming or going. The room was comfortable and the staff during breakfast was great! The African-American woman that attended to everyone during breakfast was one of the nicest cheerful people I have ever met. She truly made our stay memorable just by being her. I was so impressed I made sure to tell her the world needed more people like her. I wished I could remember her name as she most certainly deserves the accolades for my review. I would stay here again simply because of her.

    5
    « Airport convenience »

Very convenient for airport departure. We chose this hotel because they offer long term parking at a very reasonable price. The room was greT, the staff friendly and efficient. We will definitely stay here again. :-)

« Great for its purpose »

My husband and I stayed here for one night in the beginning of November after our long flight from the east coast. We were heading out for a kayaking trip the next morning, then Zion after that, and did not want to stay or pay for a room on the strip. The price is unbeatable, breakfast is included and it's far from the strip traffic. If we were passing through Vegas, we would stay here again.

    4
« Good Value for the Price »

We stayed for 2 nights and everything was fine. The room was clean, continental breakfast was fresh and the staff was very friendly. The only reason I didn't mark it higher is because the fridge was not working right and would turn off and then completely freeze. For what you pay, it's a great value! When you stay here, don't forget to fluff your pillows because the staff compacts the pillows as much as humanly possible to make them into almost squares. It makes them hard as a rock.

    5
    « Outstanding Staff »

PROS: Beds & pillows very comfortable, good water pressure, breakfast excellent & staff friendly & outgoing. Conveniently located close to strip. Airplane noise not too loud but earplugs provided for those who feel it is. CONS: Breakfast seating too small for number of people using it, water slow to get hot & hotel has an old smell to it. Overall great value and would stay there again

    3
    « Very average Hotel »

Very average hotel with poor break feast facility's and being close to an airport brings a lot of noise. Check in staff were helpful but this hotel is not for a long stay a couple of days is enough. Would be better to pay a bit more and look for another hotel or casino to stay at.

    « Save $$$ Eat Waffles »

This is a smart choice to save some money, yet close to action. Airport is literally across the street yet No problem with Noise. Hard Rock is within walking distance AND a Free Shuttle to the Strip. Rooms are Standard but Clean. Best Part... Make your own Waffles for Breakfast... Also Free. We stay here frequently as Locals saving money to hit the town. If your looking for amazing amenities... Pay for them somewhere else. If you just want to have fun and save a few bucks, this is your place

« Comfortable time at BW »

Best Western was a very comfortable stay, very close to the arena where I had my conference; so very convenient for me and also they have a friendly staff and very good breakfast! I would recommend to any one this hotel.

    1
« Groggy from Sleep Deprivation »

Located across the street from airport with planes taking off overhead, this motel has none of the noise insulating features usually found in motels near airports. Staff denied there was any noise problem, but did supply us with ear plugs (which were ineffective). We left in the morning groggy from sleep deprivation.

    5
« Best Hotel value in Vegas. »

This is the Best hotel value in Vegas. You cannot beat all the hotel amenities for the price. Room included microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, and television with many channels The Friendliest staff in town.

    5
« close to the strip »

This was the first time I've used this hotel. At first I was a little worried about noise from the airport right in front of us. But as the first flights start at 6am there is no noise during the night. The second night the planes took off in another direction as the night before and we didn't hear anything. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast was ok.

    5
« Great place to park fly and stay »

I parked the car caught a flight came back rested and left. Great service and very convenient. The front desk guy was outstanding very friendly and inviting. Everyone that works there that I talked to was great. Very helpful. Will stay there everytime in Vegas catching a flight.

    5
    « Vegas Airport »

this hotel must be the closest hotel to Vegas airport. the shuttle ride is less the 5 min. clean , great staff. if you are worried about an early flight this hotel is perfect. free parking and pretty good breakfast a plus. check in was super easy and staff more then happy to help answer questions about shuttle and the airport.

    5
« Great non smoking option »

It's good to have options in Vegas when you're not a smoker. This hotel has shuttle to airport, hot breakfast and was a great option for my business convention I just attended. They kept our luggage after check out and the staff was friendly.

    3
« BW McCarran Inn Las Vegas »

Clean room, tub had plumbing problems. Breakfast was very poor indeed. They had run out of the basic breakfast foods, and did not appear to be concerned about it, nor did they replenish any of the foods.

« A convenient and quality hotel in Las Vegas »

Every year for the past 14 years, we have stayed at this hotel on our trip from London UK to Utah where we go hiking. We like this hotel for its convenience, high quality of service, value for money and excellent, friendly staff. I recommend to you as a 5 star hotel off the Strip for where you can relax and enjoy LV.

    « Suitable »

Looking for a place to drop luggage after a late flight, we settled on BW. Shuttle had already stopped by it's so close to airport that cab ride was inexpensive. Check in was a breeze and the beds were comfortable. No noise at all from aircraft. Next morning, buffet from 6-10 and included hot and cold variety. Close to everything but would need to drive if destination is "the strip"

    4
« Great place to stay. »

I'd recommend this hotel if you need/want to be close to the airport. It is very neat and clean, and the staff is excellent. And breakfast is included. You can walk to the strip and to other shops in the area.

    3
    « Just ok »

The morning staff was great however, know that this is a property that is in sore need of being updated. If for a night it's fine, beyond that I'd find another location. I was surprised to find ear plugs on the night stand, but when the washing machines or heating system started I understand why they were needed!

    5
« Very Nice Place to Stay »

Initially called Best Western to book a room right on the Airport Grounds. : ) This was perfect as it only took 5 minutes to get there. I settled in, had a good rest, a great breakfast, and then was able to gather myself, get my car rental, and drive to the resort where I was staying for a business convention. I would recommend staying at Best Western as soon as you fly into Vegas....just to rest and gather yourself for the next day. i will be staying with them the night before I fly out too. : )

    4
    « BW McCarren Airport »

Great hotel. Been at this hotel a number of times. Internet was a little slow. The only two issues I have with this BW property is the breakfast starts after I have left and it is kinda of a pain to get in if you are not familer with the street it is on.

    4
    « Viva Las Vegas »

Had a wonderful stay- staff was friendly, appropriate & efficient. Rooms were clean and everything in working order. For a warm, comfy, clean basic room for traveling thru-this was perfect with timely shuttle service to & from the airport.

    3
    « Hotel was adequate »

Older hotel could use some updating. Lobby and staff were excellent. Room could use updating, but considering location and amenities it was OK. Shuttle service to/from airport was excellent and worth staying at the older hotel.

    4
« Functional and close to airport »

Very clean. Comfortable beds. I did not hear any airplanes landing or taking off. This hotel is so close to the airport that I was surprised at how quiet it was. We had an early flight so we didn't have their complimentary breakfast, however they do provide a grab and go bag with water, breakfast bar and fruit at no charge. I took an Uber ride to the casinos which cost around $8.00. An older hotel, not much within walking distance as far as food, but convenient. You have to call from the airport if you want the shuttle to pick you up! Morning shuttles leave every half hour beginning at 5 a.m.

    5
« Very good accommodations close to Las Vegas airport »

Stayed at this hotel on September 2017. Very convenient location to the airport. Check-in and checkout service was excellent. Room was comfortable and all appliances worked fine. Very nice breakfast buffet. The only minor complaint is the airport plane takeoff noise because of its location close to the airport. Hotel Is well maintained and comfortable.

    4
« Clean and nice breakfast »

Room was comfortable and clean. Recently renovated. Small but excellent value. Fridge and microwave. Free breakfast was great for the price. The pancake machine is cool. Lots of options including soy milk and gluten free cereal.

    « I love this place. »

I stayed at this property 3 times in a year. I never was displeased. I love the staff. Shuttle drivers were amazing Ricardo was so helpful and always treated us good. Front desk agents were so helpful and friendly. I love this hotel. When I visit Las Vegas again this is my number one place to stay at. thank you staff...

    5
    « Sleep & Park »

Hotel right at the airport. Parking ample, desk clerk VERY courteous & helpful, room clean with all amenities we needed, coffee, frig, microwave & shuttle service. We left our vehicle parked at the hotel while on vacation & it was perfectly fine when we returned. The shuttle driver was waiting when we arrived at the airport & was very helpful dropping us off at our vehicle so we could load our luggage right away & not drag it around.

    2
    « Not a good experience »

While a relatively good "off-the-strip" location the actual facility was marginal and items such as the phone in the room not working seemed beyond the staff's capability of resolving. Staff was un-willing to make any accommodations when plans beyond my control changed...ie, I was charged for a night that I could not use.

    5
« Great place close to airport- excellent service! »

This best Western, close to the McCarran airport in Las Vegas, was of the best quality. After spending other days inn busy Vegas hotels this hotel awfully quiet respite with excellent amenities perfect service, shuttle to and from the airport. It had a wonderful breakfast. And was actually very close to downtown Vegas.

    2
    « Needs remodeling »

Bed sagged badly in the middle, room was outdated and needs to be remodeled, don't know if it was dirty or just seemed dirty because of décor, maybe a little bit of both. will not stay there again or recommend. The only positive was service personnel, average or above surprisingly. We were winding up our trip & needed to stay near the airport sorta put a damper on an otherwise fun vacation.

« BW McCarran Staff are Excellent »

I received a bag of bottled water and snacks at check-in as a welcome gift for being a BW member (not elite member), which is a bit surprise as I've never had the same experience at any other hotel brands unless I'm a elite member. Everything in the guest room is absolutely matching our expectation. Wi-Fi is fast but guests will have to re-log in if stay for more than a single night. Breakfast area is too crowded but there are a variety of options to choose from. Guests from all over the world quickly fill this hotel up at weekend and I don't blame that the hotel doesn't have enough room and flexibility for everyone. Definitely I would recommend BW McCarran to others. The staff did a great job comforting and serving their customers.

    5
    « Airport Handy »

Great place to stay if you are flying out of Las Vegas the next day. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is practically located at the airport. Very convenient. The breakfast was just OK but there was an attendant there to see that items were replenished. She was cheerful and smiling to get you started on a pleasant day.

Friendly service. Near the airport. Room not ready at check-in. Older hotel but maintained ok. Needs new mattresses. Full breakfast, nice but very crowed. Hard to get to the food. Carpets a bit old and dirty other than that the rooms were clean. Upgraded room because room was not available at check-in. Planes taking off from the airport were a bit noisy.

« More like a 4.5 star rating, but really good »

Great rates. Good room. Good bed. Okay breakfast. Outstanding convenience to McCarran. Can't think of a more convenient place to stay if you're flying. There's no such a thing as a free breakfast-- it's included in the price. And as such, it's not bad. Would have preferred bacon or sausage to the ham, but that's my bias. They had added a blueberry/flax seed waffle, which was good. The room is not spacious if you take the two queens option -- $11 less than the King option. Next time, I'll know. The office chair at the desk truly intrudes on the aisle between the beds and the wall of supporting furniture. Makes ingress/egress a bit like a tightrope which makes it a bit dangerous in the middle of night nature calls. The printer in the business center could and should be updated to support AirPrint for those of us with iPhones and iPads who wish to print boarding passes. Not a big deal, but would make life easier. The lamps in the rooms with power outlets make life easier for those of us wishing to charge our phones, etc. Why many hotels don't think of this is beyond me. All in all, this is a really good choice considering the friendly, helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms. And if you don't have your car with you, the Mercedes Sprinter van runs to the airport on the half hour.

    3
« great deal close to the airport »

great stay for the value and location. Carpets need to be washed or replaced. Shuttle to the airport in mins. Quiet and comfy. 2 miles walk to MGM and the strip. I wish they would have clean or replace the carpets and maybe paint and upgrade the whole place. good value and good location.

    « You feel welcomed »

The staff went out of their way to make sure you were well looked after. They were courteous and performed the check-in and check-out without any delay. The location is convenient for connection to the airport, The room was clean and comfortable and all the amenities were working well

    « Close to Airport »

I stayed here at the end of a tour because I was flying out early in the morning. The breakfast starts at 6 so I missed it because of my early departure. The interior of the hotel and rooms is dated but has all the amenities of newer hotels. It's on a very busy multi-lane street. I walked to get dinner but would take a taxi or Uber next time.

    5
    « Great job »

The staff at this BW were outstanding. I was disabled with crutches, they brought bkfst to my room every day, with an excellent bkfst. Shelley and her kitchen staff were particularly helpful. Also Amberley at the front desk. I had booked the reservation on expedia at a lower rate for 2 nights. When I went to extend the reservation she price matched that rate for another 6 nights. I would stay there again for sure.

« Outstanding All Around Customer Service! »

We stayed here on the last day of a 9 day trip to 3 National Parks because it was close to the airport (actually right across the street!). It was an oasis on a 108 degree day, and provided welcome relief from our travel. The facilities met all our expectations - clean room, cool AC, nice pool setting, surprisingly good breakfast, etc. But the best feature was the focus on customer service throughout our stay. Front desk staff greeted us warmly on arrival, provided welcome bags with goodies, helped with directions to a restaurant, and were generally and genuinely friendly across the board. Another staffer helped adjust a light in our room, even though she was headed somewhere else. During breakfast, one of the staff members even came out into the dining area and asked if anyone needed anything - that doesn't happen too often. This attitude seems to be pervasive, and makes this hotel a special place to stay.

    5
    « A bargain in Vegas »

Direct access to McCarren Airport Terminals 1 and 3 with motel's shuttle service. Slightly distant to the Vegas Strip. Excellent provided breakfast. Minimal outside noise so sleeping is better than usual. No down sides for this traveler!!!

    4
    « August visit »

Of course convenient to airport ( right outside entrance) so good for departing or arriving. Clean. Pool area was fine. breakfast was good. Only issue would be the planes arriving almost over the hotel.

    4
    « Clean and Comfortable. »

Service was awesome at the front desk. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was very efficient. Pillows however were those small soft squares, presumably so nobody would want to steal them. Everything was clean. Shuttle to airport wasn't available yet, we had to be to the airport before the shuttle ran. Continental breakfast wasn't being served yet, also due to the time we had to leave, to get to the airport on time. The desk man was very kind and ordered us a cab, which arrived within 3 minutes, and the to-go bags of snacks and water they did provide at the main desk was enough to carry us until we could get to other more substantial food. Nice touch! If the people in the room above us hadn't been playing ball against the wall and hitting their air conditioner, we'd have had a nice quiet night.

    « Decent »

In general, the hotel served its purpose. It was a little dated, but it served its purpose. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was kind. My only true area of dissatisfaction was the breakfast. It wasn't good. I'm from the south and a good breakfast is a big deal to some. it was worth the value.

« Bang For Your Buck »

Having never been to Vegas before, I admit I was at first skeptical of the price. But I could not have been more impressed with the hotel! It was very cute and met our needs very well. It felt so comfortable and cozy. We stopped here as part of a road trip as we moved across the country, and this hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It helped us get a good night's rest before the next day, which was just what we needed. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. One note: the breakfast nook is a bit narrow and kind of weird. It was hard to navigate and get around other guests to get food. But that is my only real note about this hotel. I'd recommend staying here.

    « Great! »

We were able to park our car there for a week before our stay which made our plans go so smoothly. The shuttle was quick to get us to and from the airport. The complimentary breakfast made our stay complete and we were on the road back to San Diego with full tummies. Thank you.

« Expected more from BW »

Reserved a room and instead of putting a hold on my card the gentleman actually charged my card but I didn't find this out until I checked in and tried using the business card I was provided and they refused to take it. Worse, two!! Incidental holds got placed on my card. The bed was uncomfortable and folded to the middle. Breakfast was a disaster as everything was gone, including coffee, and there was still plenty of service time left. Complained to the front desk just to get a shoulder shrug and weak apology. I truly expected more from BW.

« Best Complimentary Hot Breakfast Ever »

I stepped into the room and was greeted with awesome decor that ranged from old Las Vegas signs to some classic automobiles. I loved it and felt right at home in the nice comfy chair where I read my book for a while. The shower's water pressure could be a little bit better, but it had a large bath. I also was impressed with the soaps this particular hotel uses; Pantene Pro-V being the shampoo (fancy!) They also provided several make-up remover packets with Vitamin E. It really had some fine touches. The coffee maker was one of those little standard ones and always puts out a great aroma. It was clean and I didn't get a stomach ache as has been my experience in the past from using these little machines. The housekeeping seemed to go over the room with a fine tooth comb all-in-all. The room also has a fridge and a microwave so you can save on some costs. There is an AM/PM market just around the corner and grocery within driving distance. The best part for me was the breakfast and the bed. The breakfast was the best complimentary hot breakfast I have ever had. The sausage was hot, the eggs were fluffy, and they had all kinds of options ranging from pan cakes, cottage cheese and fruit, cereal, juice, milk, whole fruit, toast, jam, butter, and pastries! The bed was extremely comfortable and I barely noticed the ice machine from the outside. It was a great night's rest. Just a tad bit more insalation on the bedroom door would make this an Excellent property for me.

« Ok for a quick stop over »

Stopped here for the night traveling between San Diego and Zion National Park. I do not care for Vegas, but the drive was too long without a stop. Our room was OK, check in was easy. There was available on-site parking, a big plus. There was noting special about the breakfast, but there was one. My issue was after checking out and loading the car, I returned to use the restroom. I was told they were for employees only. The associate had just checked me out. She insisted it was against management policy. I mentioned to her management might want to remove the crack heads (3) outside on their bench. I would not stay here again.

    « Good value! »

We stayed at the Best Western when there was a convention going on in Las Vegas. We were lucky to find a place to stay near the main drag. We were comfortable, free breakfast each morning, good coffee, clean and quick service when we asked for more towels and soap. It was perfect for our stay as we were on a tight budget. Oh and free parking and no extra fees a plus!

    « Family Budget Friendly & Spacious »

We've stayed here a few times as a family just passing through and on another occasion for a week. We like it because it's central to most places - the airport; the strip; UNLV; shops etc. For a family of 5 the rooms are spacious and clean and the price is pretty reasonable. That's why we keep coming back.

« fabulous experience and exceptional service »

I rarely write reviews about hotels but this time I wanted to express my thoughts. First of all, I made an error while booking this business trip and messed up my reservation. Considering that it was my fault I was truly impressed how professional, generous and incredibly helpful the hotel staff was. Everyone starting from the desk ( the lady helping us was Janet) all the way up to managers Robin (not sure what was his last name) and Craig. They truly took their time (and let me tell you, it was a BUSY weekend !!!) to help us out and make sure we got the best accommodations. Needless to say, this team knows how to make their guests special. And they probably saved me from getting fired )))) The hotel was very clean, I loved the pool and the view from the balcony! Great location for a business trip as it is only a few steps away from the convention center. Good food selection inside of the hotel. Highly recommend this place for both business and pleasure trips!

« Very relaxing and courteous service »

I stayed at the Best Western McCarran Inn in Las Vegas, NV. The service was great and it is very close to the airport. The shuttle service was really very good and quick to the airport. Breakfast was handy and available each morning. The water with lemon was very good at any time of the day.

« Ideal hotel near airport »

Great value, free hot breakfast, shuttle to the airport, this for us was a perfect place to stay. Now this may not apply to some, but we drove to Vegas to fly from McCarran's. If you stay at the hotel, they only charged less than 1/2 of what the airport parking ramp charges to keep your car there, plus the free shuttle, whats not to like about that? Room was nice & clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly, very pleased with our overnight stay. Also, never heard any plane noise all night.

« TOM FROM SAN FRANCISCO »

Room not ready when we arrived at 3:15pm but ready at 4 pm. Had to return rental car and were told shuttle would come pick us up but shuttle went only to airport not car rental place. Finally took taxi back to motel. Motel not surrounded by any facilities including restaurants that is a problem when without a car. But for one night and waiting for plane in am this worked out fine. Place was clean, quiet, etc and served its means very well.. Shuttle to airport in am worked very well. Would stay here next time just work car return better. Give this motel high ratings. Tom from San Francisco

« Great service in a hotel that is a little worn. »

The hotel seems old and the breakfast area is quite small and too crowded but the service here is excellent. It really is exceptional. Rooms are worn but confortable enough. There is a small gym which is good enough for a quick workout. I would stay here again just because of the very friendly staff.

« If you are driving, this is a practical choice if staying off-strip. »

The staff at this hotel are quite helpful, and they do the best they can: Greet guests, help at all hours, keep things clean and tidy, and offer assistance in so many ways. One way you can tell they take pride in their location: There is fresh and clean lemon water in the lobby, and the breakfast is kept well-stocked, even during a rush. The rooms are quite clean, too. These are not large rooms, but they are well-appointed. Fridge and microwave, desk, plenty of plugs. (I know a few more expensive properties that could learn from this.) Breakfast was a full-spread in a little room. It worked, for what it was worth, and we generally enjoyed this in our room. Table space is challenging during the rush. There is a shuttle, should you require a lift, and that is a great thing if you don't have a vehicle. For drivers, the first or second time you pull in or out of this location can be a touch tricky....oncoming traffic and a one-way street require decent timing. We soon got it well enough, and the location suited our needs. Also, the air that remains on all through hot days does slay the noise from the airport - this is airport adjacent - but earplugs always help. Maintenance staff did their best to keep things up - the lights work, etc. However, you could tell that it was a challenge to keep up with the high use the rooms receive. With a gym and laundry, and convenience store adjacent, you are pretty much set. This is not for high rollers, but it beats walking a mile to your room from parking, as you do in large casino hotels. We found this perfectly serviceable.

« Comfortable stay for business »

Stayed here for business for a week. Normally I stay at the Hampton Inn, which is closer to work, but it was full as this trip came together very last minute. Still, this hotel did not disappoint. It was comfortable and clean, service was excellent. Proximity to the airport did not interrupt my sleep at all. Only drawback was that it wasn't as close to the office and I had to deal with airport and Vegas Strip traffic to get to and from work every day, but that's not the hotel's fault! My wife joined me for the weekend and we had a nice stay together before I continued my work travels for another week in another couple of cities. The pool is very refreshing in the summer heat, and the property is entirely non-smoking, which was a big draw card for me over staying in any casino hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something clean, quiet and comfortable away from all the craziness of Las Vegas.

    4
    « Close to Airport »

Good place to stay close to the airport and away from the Strip. Good breakfast with more choices than most places. Cpmfortable room and bed. Good amenities. Not real convenient for good places to eat, but. . .

    « Wonderful Staff »

We have stayed at this particular Best Western on three different occasions in the last two years and each and every time the staff have been helpful in every way including the shuttle service. We would recommend this hotel very highly. Needs abit of upgrade in the facilities just due to the age of the property.

    3
« Clean & Close to the Airport »

The hotel was in a very convenient location for a quick stop over being only a few minutes away from the airport. Our room was very clean and comfortable but quite noisy at times as we were close to the airport runway with planes taking off and landing every few minutes until about 11pm. The free breakfast was nice and there was a variety of different food options, however, there wasn't enough places to sit, so we had to stand and wait until another couple made space for us to sit at their table.

    « BED BUGS »

I stayed here with my kids for 6 nights and after the second night my daughter complained about bug bites as the days went by both my daughters and myself had more and more bites, I search the beds along the edges and found nothing but I felt the bites could not have been from anything else so I pulled the mattress away from the wall and put a hair dryer up to the bed and the bugs started to poor out of the bottom far corner that was next to the wall. I called front desk and she sent housekeeping up to look by this point I had even caught a bug that was the size of a lady bug in a cup , I gave her the bug ( she apparently through it away ) to pass on to her manager and the exterminator. The housekeeper was rude and tried to blame my daughter for having her suitcase on the floor so they couldn't get to the bed to vacuum ( which made me feel that they new the mattress was infested and all they were doing was vacuuming the bugs away , which does not kill them or the eggs ) she said she would vacuum if we moved the suit cases, I said no way I want a new room now, she left to go inform the front desk. Denise from front desk called and said she had a key for a new room , no apology no offer to help move our stuff or even help us to stop taking the bugs to a new room with our luggage which we did ( waking the next morning with new bites) she didn't even bring the key up for the new room we had to go down to get it. As we were moving rooms the housekeeper came and stood in the door and watched us move didn't offer to help just stated rudely to make sure to close the door behind us!!! When I returned the keys from the old room to front desk she was rude didn't apologize or even offer any compensation. The next morning when I checked out Melissa at the front desk had no idea of our situation, she did apologize and said I would have to call manager to see about discount. While waiting a airport I called best western customer service to complain they sent request to manager, she did call to say she was going to get rooms cleaned and would give me a discount for only one night. I then called an expert and ask if we would be ok or if we could take it home with us they told me the way the hotel handled the situation ( not stopping the transfer of the bugs when we moved rooms, they love to travel on our bags and shoes) they advised I should through everything away!! I couldn't do that we had dance costumes and uniforms, so they said the only way was to put all our clothes into garbage bags and seal then shut take clothes and shoes to laundry Matt and wash and dry on the hottest cycle, but all bags must be thrown away. This was a stressful procedure and very costly 5 suitcases three back packs a travel bag purse wallet iPad cases, two of the suit cases where borrowed from a friend that I had to reimburse. I called Best Western customer service back to inform them of the new stress and the funds I had to endure they sent the case back to the general manager Tracey Gully, she didn't even bother to call me back I had to call Best Western myself for them to inform me she would do nothing more, one night was enough of a discount, I have called back to the hotel only to be told she's not there or I get sent to voice mail I left message and got no response. Now I'm am out money have no suit cases and my daughters are having trouble sleeping, worried we brought home the bugs and they are still crawling over them as they sleep. WORST HOTEL STAY EVER !!!!!!!!! I have told everyone I know and will keep telling everyone who asked where to stay in Las Vegas

« Close to the airport »

We picked this hotel to end our vacation because it was close to the airport. That was a good decision. The shuttle to the airport left at 5:00 AM which worked great since our flight was early. The shuttle left a bit early because it was nearly full but I whistled and waved and he circled back for us. The room was comfortable. Unfortunately we could not eat breakfast since it didn't open till 6AM. We love rooms that accommodate 5 people comfortably as Best Western usually does.

    5
« Comfortable, clean, and friendly »

Convenient access to the airport, which was our main concern; but I think we would be happy to stay here for an extended visit. Friendly and kind staff. Comfortable room and beds and bath. A fantastic value.

    « Very Nice Stay! »

We came in LATE and were greeted warmly after taking the shuttle from the airport. The shuttle guys were really nice, too! Room was quite and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the exercise room was just what we needed. Also, there is a gas station near by for snacks, food, etc. Great place to stay at a great price!

« Great location at a great price »

Location at airport with free shuttle, full free breakfast and excellent staff including Alicia and Bianca on desk and helpful shuttle driver. Room had fridge and microwave and comfortable beds. Grand Canyon Travel Agency next door had great deals on trips. Bus stop outside was 10 minutes to the Strip and 10 minutes to Walmart. Really liked this location and value for money.

« Lay over stay in Las Vegas »

Was looking for a place to stay in Las Vegas for a flight layover. This was a poor choice. Entire hotel had a foul order and bed was very hard. Airport shuttle stops running at 11:00 PM I called a 11:05 and no pickup available. Would not stay here again.

    « Helpful »

The staff was very helpful and the convenience of being able to park my car during my trip was great. The shuttle drivers were excellent. The room was clean. The bed was not the most comfortable but was ok. The wifi did not work, but since I was not traveling for work not a big deal.

« A great place to stay - especially if you're flying from McCarran! »

We stayed here because we were flying back to the UK from McCarran Airport, via JFK in New York. And we wanted a day to visit the Hoover Dam, so we had 2 nights here. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The room was clean and adequate in size. The bed was comfortable, although a choice of pillow size would have been helpful. Breakfast was limited in choice but OK. The Inn offers a flight 'check-in' facility which is very useful as it lets you print out your boarding pass.

    3
    « Yeah ok »

Few grumbles Clean carpets at least once in a while. Find a different setting for the things above the room sink. Things keep falling into the sink every time I pick them. Move the complimentary breakfast into a bigger room or at least move the toasters out of the tiny room. Explain the abbreviations in the bill, such as, airport fee. I like to know what I'm being charged.

« Clean, quiet and very convient next to airport »

We haves stayed here on several occasions and taken advantage of the Park and fly, where you stay for at least one night and can leave your car parked there for 7 days free. They have a convenient shuttle to the airport that is less than 5 minutes awy. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and they have a great breakfast. A big shout out to Melissa who helped us this last visit. Super friendly and very helpful.

« Great room, helpful staff. Breakfast room is small and it is hard to get a table »

We were lucky to find a parking place as the hotel, was full and we arrived on the late side. We have a problem handling luggage and were fortunate to be on the elevator with a staff person who helped us unload the cart and returned it to the lobby for us. Breakfast room was crowded and we had to wait for a table. There was a sign for skim milk, but there wasn't any. Peanut butter was an off brand, bur Cheerios seemed to be the real thing. The food area was narrow and hard to move in.

« Great hotel and location »

We needed a night stay near the airport. This hotel was the perfect location. We were able to walk to restaurants and stores. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed and room were comfortable. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

« That's why they call them "Best!" »

When you find something worthwhile, you stick with it. That sums up whey we make sure that we can always get a Best Western Plus hotel whenever we travel. Staff is always helpful and very delightful and professional, making our stay that much more pleasant.

« Thieves WILL CHARGE YOUR INCIDENTALS »

They said I smoked in the room. $300! I swear to them that I didn't, but they won't believe me. No one ever answers. I leave messages but the manager won't return my calls. If you smoke outside, let yourself air out because if they smell cigs they will charge you regardless if there's proof. Another best western did this to me before but with weed. I don't even smoke weed. So... I know there's encouragement for the employees to charge your card for your security deposit. Make that money $$ Go somewhere there is no scam in place to steal your money.

    « Disappointed in pool »

Stayed here one night to fly out out of Las Vegas the next morning after a trip visiting the southwest national parks. The room was a decent value for the money but the pool was gross. It had lots of debris and was kind of a bird bath for pigeons.

« Pillows so hard we could not use them; breakfast pitiful »

We opted for this BW vs BW Plus, which we are accustomed to, because it was close to the airport and cheaper. Boy were we sorry we had made that choice. We've stayed at other BWs before and they were okay. This one was hard to get to for someone who doesn't know Vegas street layouts. The pillows were so hard that my husband, who can sleep almost anywhere, could not use them at all. We both slept with our heads on the mattress which caused us neck pain through the night and the next day. We had hoped to grab a bite for breakfast in the "included" breakfast bar before our long flight home, but were again disappointed. It was a small, short "hallway" with barely anything to choose from, and I'm not exaggerating. We ended up paying airport restaurant prices for breakfast, which when added on to the cheaper rate of this hotel exceeded what we would have paid for a night at a BW Plus. We would not stay here again.

    « Best Western »

We arrived early to check in on one of the hottest days they have experienced. The employees were professional, happy and inviting, and very helpful. We were exhausted from the heat and the front desk helped us find places to eat that delivered. This was just a stop over evening while we waited for our flight out of Las Vegas early the next morning. I strongly suggest this hotel. The price was great and the employees very helpful. Room was quality and the property suited our needs.

    « Better than expected »

We booked this hotel because it was cheap and seemed clean. We got all we bargained for and more. The breakfast was surprisingly good (don't have the eggs though) and our room was clean. The showers are weird and tend to get water everywhere so keep that in mind. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Vegas.

« great location for flying out of Las Vegas »

This best western is located in the heart of Las Vegas,so walking to the main drag of the city, is easy, if you have turned in your car You can see MGM which is one mile away, and grab the monorail to Ballys cross the main drag and people move to New York,New York for far less that paying premium hotel prices. But the best reason is the free shuttle to LAS airport starting at 5am which was my main reason for using this Best Western

« Nice, clean & close to the airport »

We stayed here for one night before leaving Las Vegas. It is a nice, clean Best Western with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast area is a bit small, if you are waiting for your toast other people almost can't get past you. The breakfast staff works hard to keep everything stocked which pays off, very good! Also the front desk employees are very helpfull and friendly. Our room was near the ice machine and a side exit door which made a lot of noise when people made use of it. Other than that: a great stay!

« "Good hotel close to the airport" »

We wanted to be close to the airport for a morning flight and stayed here one night at the end of May. Our stay was good, no problems at check-in, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. There was a minor maintenance issue in the room but nothing significant. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit and pastries; seating was adequate. Parking was free and we could be at the airport in a few minutes so overall this hotel was a good choice for us.

    4

    « Affordable Vegas »

Very helpful staff who were friendly. The room was spacious, clean, good wifi, good air con. Lots to choose from room service and the hotel is close to the airport and a 10/15 min drive from the main strip. Only downside was the breakfast as you had to use paper plates and plastic cutlery

    « Vacation »

The overall quality of the Best Western McCarran Inn is outstanding. A smile on the staff at check out would help but maybe he had a tough night. The room was clean and neat, the atmosphere was congenial, the location near the airport made departure extremely easy. I would recommend Best Western every time.

    « Overnight stop »

We were here just overnight before setting off on a road trip to Utah. Because we were on the red eye, we missed the free shuttle bus from the airport, but it was just a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel. The reception staff here are superb. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel itself is a standard that you would expect from the Best Western chain. Clean. Comfortable. Standard fre breakfast.

« Quality of service more than makes up for the dated look of this hotel »

Well located vis a vis the Airport, comfortable beds, excellent desk staff, but needing an updated look. The complimentary breakfast was pleasant enough, but there is an overall odour to the property, likely from the aging carpets.Pool, a welcome amenity in the searing heat of Las Vegas

« my stay in las vegas »

We were only going to be in Las Vegas one night so we picked this hotel for the closeness to the airport. Shuttle from the hotel was fast and made getting to airport easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended taking our rental car back to the airport the night before we left and their shuttle picked us up at the airport. that made things very easy in the morning going back to the airport.

This Hotel is great for someone with breathing issues! They are smoke free, are close enough to the Strip that you can walk or take a taxi, has a free shuttle to the airport which it is located near, has hot breakfast every morning, and the rooms are clean!

    « One night »

The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful!!! They offer free airport shuttle which it was very helpful!!! Breakfast was ok. The rooms could have been better, but if u r just looking for a place to sleep it will do. The water in bathtub didn't drain (maybe clogged or drain was broken), we found a couple hairs in the bed (before we laid down), the room is kind of dark, right before bed, a strong smell of weed (or skank) was all over the hallway and got in to the room. Even tho for a small hotel, they have elevator which helped my older parents. Overall it was fine.

« Neat, clean and quiet hotel »

Very neat and clean hotel. It is tucked away in a strip mall area, but not far from the strip. Nice room with amenities such as an indoor pool and free breakfast. There is a small gym area. It is easy to get in with luggage and plenty of parking.

« Great service and has free shuttle to/from airport »

We stayed here mainly for the free shuttle to/from the airport. It is one mile from the "strip". It is walkable but the bus stop is close and it only costs $8 for a 24 hour bus pass. The shuttle is quick from the hotel to the airport. The breakfast was well stocked and the selections were adequate. Since this hotel is so close to the airport earplugs were provided in the room, but we did not have to use them as we hardly noticed the flights. It is a good value for the location and I would stay here again. There is free parking also! The room (2 queens) was clean.

    « Clean and Affordable »

It was a nice clean hotel - breakfast was very busy, but hotel was clean and comfortable beds and Stores are about 1 mile away good place to stop and rest cross country trips or just any trips. Very affordable

« Much better than expected »

Have just left this hotel after a 2 night stay. We didn't expect great things from it but were pleasantly surprised. The shuttle service was faultless in both directions, a five minute trip. We were given a ground floor room looking at the pool, something we would have tried to change, but it had no adjoining room so we stayed put. The pool is only small and during our stay we only saw one person use it, it certainly looked very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The property is smoke free, however our room did have a slight stale cigarette smell, otherwise it was fine, when we got used to the plumbing that is. For some reason the 2nd floor waste pipe for the room above passed through our bathroom, so when the toilet was flushed a load gush ensued, not good if the people above stay up late or use the bathroom in the night. The shuttle WILL NOT take you to The Strip (goodness knows why not for a small fee??). We walked there in about 15 minutes. A taxi would cost 12 - 15 dollars plus tip so it was worth the effort we thought. All in all if you are just visiting Vegas as a stopover and are on a budget I would recommend, if staying longer look to a hotel in town.

    « Good Value »

Good value, clean and close to Las Vegas airport. Continental breakfast was good - needed another table or two for adequate seating. Would recommend it for convenience to airport and excellent staff service.

« Clean and Close to Airport »

The hotel was easy to locate and not run down looking. Close to the airport 3 minutes! The ac fan in the room worked great to cover airplane noise so not a problem. Rooms were clean and staff efficient and pleasant. Toilet had a tank chain problem which had to be untangled often to keep water from running. Maid was very sweet and cheery for a tough job.

    « Accomodating Hotel »

Stayed here our last night of a 2 week trip in and around Las Vegas. It was a great location and a few minutes from the airport and a very good value. A very clean and efficient hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. The Internet service was excellent. They offer a shuttle to the airport. We were able to take our rental car back to the rental car company the night before the flight and take the Best Western Shuttle back to the hotel. The next morning, the shuttle took us to the airport and dropped us at Southwest curb service.

« Convenient location, Best Western expectations »

Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large enough with sink outside bathroom for convenience. We booked this for the proximity to airport. Beware if you have an early flight the breakfast and shuttle are not available, but we were able to get an uber early in the morning within 5 minutes of request since ubers come to airport frequently. Typical Best Western - comfortable for a night of sleep.

« Close to airport, no resort fee, uncomfortable pillows. »

This hotel is right next to airport and busy road, so you will hear road and traffic if your room is next to this road and you will hear planes, so ask for a room away from the road. They do provide ear plugs. If you want easy access to casinos, this is not it. You need to drive to casinos. Most hotels in Las Vegas charge steep resort fees, but this hotel does not, so check all hotel costs carefully. Bed was comfortable but bed pillows were very thick and uncomfortable. I had a stiff neck from them and should have brought my own pillow. Very convenient to airport. This is a park and fly hotel (which was important to me).

    « Overnight stay »

We wanted a clean hotel near the airport for an early morning flight out of Vegas after attending a wedding in Zion. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and breakfast was great. Wish there were more gluten free options

    2
    « Poor service »

First impression was a big one. The 2 front desk people at checkin were lazy and rude. Made me feel that I was bothering them by checking in. Maid service tried to come into my room 3x when I had do not disturb sign up. Breakfast was in a tiny room with only space for 1-2 people at a time. Breakfast was very poor, not only in quality but also in selection. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. For the Hotel being next to the airport it was very quite. Guy at checkout was slammed with people but he had a great attitude, very friendly and helped everyone as fast as he could.

« Very bad experience at this hotel »

Cleanliness not recommen to stay a this hotel but I do recommen best western hotels I had good experience in other best western hotels I had stay in San Francisco Las Vegas and Denver Colorado with very good experiences

« Surprisingly quiet by airport »

We really didn't hear the planes at all. But the window coverings are useless-cute but useless. The staff are very helpful and room was clean, except for the cricket in the bathroom. ??!! Pic is of the window at 630am. Breakfast was typical.

« Great spot to stay when arriving in Vegas late! »

Our flight came in late and we wanted to find a hotel close by to the airport. This hotel worked out great for us! Free airport shuttle with fast pick-up service. Rooms and overall hotel was very clean. Beds were super comfy. Small gym but was perfect for a quick morning work out( nice and cold AC made for a good run on treadmill). Pool area looked nice. The free breakfast provided was good and it was a nice added bonus. For the rate of the room, location of hotel to airport, free shuttle and free breakfast, and available gym I think you can't go wrong staying here. I would return for sure and thank you for a good experience! I wouldn't stay here for my entire Vegas trip because I would want to be on the actually main strip but for a one night stay at the start or end of your trip you won't be disappointed!

    3
« Ok hotel, horrible breakfast »

Our family of 5 stayed here for one night before flying home. Plus: It's a clean, quiet hotel very close to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really didn't hear the planes. Minus: It really could use updating. The elevator was ancient and other aspecys very outdated. The breakfast was horrible and the eating area very small and cramped.

    4
    « brekfast »

The brekfast needs to be improved with some baycon and more fruits and pancakes. Also there is no way to have free water without lemmon. tere is need also to have some butter and not only cream chease .

« The room we had was no noisy we could not sleep. »

Old fashioned air conditioners that were 'in room' and noisy. Terrible breakfast and with only 8 small tables to accommodation 100 rooms was ridiculous. We ended up having to go to the strip for breakfast.

    5
« Great hotel close to the airport »

Perfect hotel when you need to catch a flight early the next morning. The breakfast was fine and free, so better than getting breakfast at the airport for sure. Most comfortable hotel bed I've had in a while!

    « A Complete Dump »

The only positive for this place is that it is less than 5 minutes from the airport and the hotel staff is absolutely wonderful. Other than that, it is a complete dump and every aspect of it is outdated. The A/Cs are completely ineffective even considering that they couldn't cool the room even when it was 80 degrees outside. The price is also high compared to other hotels in the area. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, stay someplace else.

    4
    « A long night in Vegas »

The room was very clean and modern. The things we weren't notified in advance was the replacement of the carpet in the hallways and the crew working hours. No cleanup after the work day, ie. remnants on the floor and having to walk around the workers. vacuuming wasn't done the next morning either. There was an apparent child on the floor above us who was running and jumping off the furniture, it seemed. Had to call the front desk around11:18 and again around 1:28 as the noise resumed. As well, the noise started again after 7:30. The next morning I inquired about the noise and the calls made. The person at the desk was apologetic but didn't appear to know anything about the issue. A long night in Vegas

    4
    « Good for cost »

Good value for the price. Check in was easy and the room was nice and bed was comfortable. Could use more items for breakfast but it is complimentary so can't really complain. Staff was nice and friendly

    4
« Good for what it is. »

Had this property booked for me. Would not have been my first choice for a quick 2 day business trip to Vegas. Pluses, very close to the airport for early morning flights or late arrivals. The courtesy airport shuttle was prompt both arriving and departing and the staff was very accommodating. The room was also clean and relatively updated, but most importantly . . . clean. The minuses, this is a lower end Best Western. Very basic amenities and breakfast and not in the greatest part of town, but location to the airport and Thomas & Mack is really good. Essentially you get what you pay for and this location was clean, welcoming and convenient.

    4
    « I found it fairly charming. »

Room was tiny but clean enough. Loved the open area at hotel center which also served as the breakfast area. The breakfast was the worst of all the Best Western's we stayed at but still fine. Had trouble getting into the pool but did eventually and the kids enjoyed it. I didn't feel that the hotel was completely secure. Doubtful I would stay here again but I enjoyed the night that we did stay.

    2
    « No hot water »

There was no water when we arrived and we were not told. In the morning we also discovered that there was no hot water . We were not notified. At breakfast we used the juice machine only to discover that the machine was only dispensing syrup which tasted awful. There were numerous guests complaining at the front desk which made the atmosphere unpleasant. While we understand that things can go wrong we were never offered the opportunity to go to a different hotel and were told that we would need to talk to manager about any compensation. Certainly a discount on a future visit or Reward Points could have been offered.

    « So much NOPE »

My mom and I had early flights leaving Vegas so we wanted to find a place close to the airport. Our plan was to find a hotel with a shuttle so we could return the rental car early and have one less thing to deal with in the morning. Upon arriving, the hotel doesn't look half bad. It's older but the lobby is nice. Check in took a while but the gentleman working the desk got through everyone quickly and was very friendly. All was well until we got to our "non smoking" room which reeked of stale smoke and pee. The sheets looked clean but the smell of that room made our eyes burn. The whole night was a compromise between suffocating in the stale, warm air or turning on the noisy AC which smelled even worse. The pillows are awkwardly overstuffed, I don't see how anyone besides maybe a giraffe could find these pillows usable. The sink water had an odd, egg-ish smell to it and there was no hot water in the shower; my apologies to whoever sits next to me on the plane, I had every intention of keeping up with personal hygiene but I don't do cold showers! Oh, and before getting your caffeine buzz on, take a peek in the coffee pot. Hopefully yours doesn't contain the same funk ours did. You really do get what you pay for I guess. If you want cheap and close to the airport, this might get the job done. If you value your personal hygiene I would go elsewhere...

    4
« Convenient location from the airport »

We used this hotel as our meeting place for our Arizona and Utah roadtrip. Clean rooms, filling breakfast, helpful staff and they have free shuttle service to the airport. Only thing I wish is that they have a shuttle to the strip. All in all, it's a comfortable stay.

    3
« Don't book the deluxe suite if you want quiet room »

We booked it and one regular room. The deluxe suite was big, but it was insanely noisy. We asked for a change which wasn't possible because of the full hotel. Sleeping was hardly possible and the 30 dollars extra was really not wort that. The other room was ok, kinda outdated but clean and quiet. Next time we will stay at another hotel at the airport. The few bucks we saved at the best western wasn't worth all the hassle...

    4
« Very good quality and amenities »

Stayed here the night before flying out of Vegas airport. Previous week stayed 4 nights at Monte Carlo which was a dump! Then Grand Canyon. Was glad to have a quiet second floor room, hospitable staff and good breakfast. DIdn't use the shuttle but it was free to the airport. Would recommend and consider staying here with a short uber ride to the Strip to have a room with a fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

    « No water »

I have never written a review before because as a Diamond Rewards member we have had excellent service and if there was a problem we received some compensation. We arrived at the hotel in Las Vegas around 4:30 and went to our room to discover there was no water. After a trip to the front desk we were told it would be off until 6 and she apologized for forgetting to tell us. The water came on at 6:30. Imagine our surprise in the morning to discover there was no hot water when I went to take a shower. When we checked out we were told nothing could be done for our inconvenience and that we would need to contact the manager. I'm sure she was overwhelmed with complaints but I think she could compensated us with Rewards Points or something. I'm sure the Heath Department would have shut down the breakfast if they knew there was no hot water and at one point no water at all.

« Quality service and professional staff »

We are extremely pleased staying in this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. All the staff were very caring and professional. Breakfast was great and check in and check out process was very simple and efficient.

    2
    « Noisy Hotel »

The hotel is not sound proof and you can hear all the planes from the airport. The AC in the room is also very noisy. The room is average and not very clean. The plus is the hotel's rate includes breakfast with coffee, waffles, muffins and bread. The choice is also average. The free shuttle from / to the airport is really helpful.

    4
« Great Motel to stay while in Las Vagas »

Motel is close to airport with a full hot breakfast. A relaxed atmosphere from the casino accommodation and friendly staff and would recommend a place to stay while visiting Las Vegas. Cleaning staff were very helpful .

    « Best Western - McCarran Inn »

Stayed one night after being on the road all day. Left next day for our flight back East. Check-in was easy, room clean, bed comfortable, excellent location. This Best Western offered a complimentary breakfast which was adequate; however, not the best in selection.

    5
« Convenient and worth it »

We booked this hotel that was very close to the Las Vegas airport because we knew we'd be arriving very late. It was clean, comfortable, convenient and inexpensive. Made it easy to catch an Uber the next morning to take us to our hotel on the strip.

    1
« The most horrible experience I've ever had »

Based on other reviews on this site, we thought we were getting a nice place to stay for a reasonable rate. That's not the case. When I booked an extra night prior to our original reservation due to the debate being across the street from the hotel, the lady said we'd be in the large suite, which was a room partitioned with the sofa / tv in one area, and the beds / tv in another. I was thrilled, since this would help us all get better sleep. When we arrived, my husband checked in, went to the room, and came back furious. He said it wasn't what I told it would be like. I told him that it couldn't be right. I went to the front desk and the nice gentleman said that the 'family suite' that I was referring to was booked through the next day at noon but we could check in the morning to confirm we could switch, and he didn't see why not. No additional charge either. So, I told my husband, we went to the room and slept. Next morning, we checked on the family suite, the lady said, 'oh we were talking about that, we cant do that'. I asked why, she said they were booked. I told her he checked and no one had the room. She said sorry and didn't offer anything else, and because I was leaving my laptop in a security box, I was afraid to argue about it. The first day we had to take out our trash and get our own towels, because arriving back at the hotel after a day on the strip, it was never done. Even after my husband spoke to the maid and asked her to clean our room. The other days it wasn't cleaned until after 2pm. The phone didn't work and they replaced it with another one. The TV was so fuzzy you could barely see the picture and the maintenance guy said it was 'Cox Communications changing things' and he could do nothing about it. The AC cover kept falling off and dropping huge amount of dust and grime on the carpet. Our first night in room 204 we thought that the weird smell was from the room being converted from a smoking room to a non smoking room. It was musty smelling. By the 4th night, the smell was overbearing and coming from the sink right next to the door. I went to the window to open it a few inches (which is all they open in Vegas so people can't jump out the window and kill themselves...) and when I unlocked it, the ENTIRE WINDOW fell out on me! I am petite, and they are lucky I was able to catch it and it didn't fall and shatter. Even more, they're lucky my kids weren't near me when it happened. My husband tried to put it back in the frame, but not luck. The window was wedged barely in the frame, so when it gets locked, the tiny lock "holds" it in place. APPEARING that it's normal and ok. My husband took the window to the front desk in the morning, told the gentleman what happened, and he apologized, said he called the manager and she was going to call him back. When we checked out, he said she was going to fly into Vegas from her conference, come in on her day off and call us about the issues. It never happened. We got home 8 hours later!! And called the front desk. They took a message and said she should call us on Monday and she would be there at 9am. We waited all day. Nothing. Called again. No return call. We called corporate and are still waiting on an answer - it's only day 1, and the very nice corporate lady who answered my call couldn't believe what was going on, also said it could take up to 7 days to get an answer. We will never stay here, and have told all of our family and friends about the horrible experience. We wish they would've remedied the situation. If they ever respond, I will post the outcome.

    « Get Away »

Our room is comfortable, quiet, clean and the AC just a bit noisy. I think they should change the pillows thickness, they are too thick and bulky. Need tray for soap. The breakfast is ok per continental breakfast.

    4
« I'd rather be in this hotel. »

It's not on the Strip but very near it. It's small therefore no long lines to check in or check out. I arrived almost 2 hours early but they checked me in in about 20 mins when a room became available. There's plenty of parking space and they are just outside the building, as soon as you walk out the door. The inside of the building is older but the rooms are clean and the bed is nice and firm. The sheets are new. The free breakfast is the same as in any other Best Western. I really like my stay in this quiet hotel especially when I went to Bellagio and one other big hotel in the strip to watch a show. The lines are long and people have bags as they snake along the very long lines. It's very much like the lines in the airports.

    4
« Great value off the strip »

With a great free breakfast, and a bus close by, this was a great place to stay. It took 30 minutes to walk to the strip, but a short walk and you could take a bus for $2.00. A friendly staff, clean rooms, and a convenience store next door! The pool was not very clean, and that was my only complaint. It was heated and the water quality was good, but it had a lot of debris in it. We would stay here again.

  • 3
« Price was right, but other places would be worth more $$$ »

My room was very comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given the location. The packets of ear plugs were a nice touch, but they were not needed. The interior appears recently renovated, and it is both attractive and well-maintained. Biggest downer is the breakfast offering. The variety bordered on acceptable, but the quality was sub-par.

    5
« Second stay every bit as good as the first »

Funny reading reviews by fellow travelers. Yeah, this is no top tier breakfast joint. And AC tends to get overworked in the Mojave Desert. But for the dollars, this place is an absolute great value. Clean rooms. Picked up my wife at McCarran-- was at her baggage carousel in 7 minutes. How cool and convenient is that in the madhouse traffic in Vegas? And the breakfast, not expecting much after "free breakfast" experiences at so many hotels, is significantly above par. I tried to stay here last time in Vegas, but it was sold out. I will book earlier next time.

    3
    « Noisy air conditioning »

Beds awful worn out ! air conditioning very noisy. Close to airport not up to our previous best western hotels . Airplanes noise didn't bother us maybe they we're flying in other direction but ear plus were supplied.

    1
    « Awfulness experience »

This is not a hotel. This is a loud "take out the money off the pocket". The A/C is louder than the take off airplane next to the hotel. The breakfast room is made for 10% of the guests. Waiting for 30 minutes for a table. Overcrowding everywhere. Unbelievable rumble early morning. Toilet flush in the upper floor wakes you up during the night. Never ever again.

    3
« Terrible eggs but soft towels »

My general gripe with BW is the free breakfast, the eggs are terrible. The McCarren BW was nice, good location. If you like to walk you could walk to the Vegas strip, but crossing the main road by hotel might be a little dangerous. The hotel staff was very nice, but the best thing about the stay was the hotel towels believe it or not, they must actually use fabric softener at this hotel. Usually bath towels are pretty rough. If you're in town to work or passing thru would recommend this hotel, but lets face it if you are there for the Vegas experience, you will probably want to stay at one of the resort places. I had a work related stay so basically needed a nice place to sleep after a long day.

    4
    « Wonderful airport motel »

This motel is a great place if you are flying out the next morning and need a ride to the airport or just want to be near the airport. The rooms are nice, the staff is helpful, and they do have a good breakfast. I do wish that they would upgrade their security, though we didn't have any problems with undesirables wandering about.

    2
« Disappointing! Well below their previous high standard »

Rating 6/10. We stayed 2 nights. Maybe this hotel has changed hands or has new management in the last 12 months. We have stayed here, happily, many times over the past 5 years but this stay was very disappointing and not up to previous high standard. Room not as clean as usual. Hallways needs a vacuum. Towel rail came apart. Toilet seat was loose. Shower head needed maintenance attention. All these were reported to reception on our departure. Towels were grey (rather than white) and frayed. There is no longer coffee available 24/7 in reception area. Housekeeping did not replenish cups, coffee etc for the 2nd night. No tea bags provided in room or on obvious display in breakfast area after hours. Very disappointing stay. There are so many hotels in Vegas maybe we'll check out one of the (cheaper) off-strip casino's for our next stay.

    5
    « Great Value! »

I stayed in the only suite they had and it was very roomy and clean. It could use an extra light where the closet is because there is no lighting there. Otherwise, it was worth it. Very comfortable beds and breakfast was wonderful. We had plenty to eat and did not really need to eat any lunch. I am glad there was no smoky casino to deal with. You definitely need a car to get to the strip or a store, etc. Still was worth it to me. Thank you for the great service!

    5
« Great Hotel, great value »

Stayed here two nights after a Canyon trip. Close to the airport, free breakfast and wi-fi. Clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced quiet rooms. Short taxi ride to the strip or a 30 minute walk. Pool available but dosent seem to be used too much. Friendly staff. I recommend

    2
    « Noisy »

120 eur/night for a double for single occupancy would be OK for Vegas during an exhibition week end, in a regular, newly build 3 star. But for this hotel... Everything looks old, dating back to the 80's. Looks like they do not know what sound proof insulation is here. Noisy rooms, airport, a main traffic road, a/c engine buzzing all the time, no way to get a quiet sleep. Poor breakfast. No dry clean service or laundry, only self service, you can imagine if I have time for that on business trip... Got home from dinner at 11.30 pm, no way to buy a bottle of water, sold out in all vending machines, not for sale at the reception desk. Only positive thing, a polite and friendly driver on the complimentary airport shuttle.

    « Overall Great Experience »

My main purpose for my visit was business. The location is close to the hotel and the shuttle service was excellent. Overall for my purpose, everything was great. The hotel staff were also helpful and friendly. I have no complaints about my stay.

    4
    « Friendly Staff »

We stayed just a night, being between connecting flights. At first the hotel seems a little disappointing, mostly because the design (no large atrium reception) and the decor (lots of brown) hits you first. But get beyond that and you will find comfy clean beds and rooms, good wifi and a really good buffet breakfast. But the big plus are the staff - all welcoming and enthusiastic and make you feel so very well looked after.

    3
    « Convenient & Close to Airport »

The location was very convenient and close to the airport and only about 1 mile south of the strip. Being close to the airport the sound of planes taking off could be heard. The room came furnished with earplugs. The room furnishings were adequate. The picture on the internet was better than the motel looked in real life.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

Good location very close to airport. Very friendly check in staff. Large, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent including scrambled eggs, ham and waffles. Fruit salad and yogurt, as well as cereal and hard boiled eggs. Free wifi worked very well. Not much they could have done better. Definitely will stay here again.

    5
« A good place close to the airport »

This motel was very comfortable and quieter than I expected since it was so close to the airport. The hot breakfast in the morning was more complete than some are with a wide choice of items. The small pool was nice too.

    « Very disappointed. »

Let me start off by saying to much money for just one night we paid almost 200.00. The pillows were hard like a rock. The next morning we went down to enjoy a breakfast but no employees were there yet. No coffee or food ready at 6:00 AM They did not have it ready till 6: 20 AM and the food was awful served cold and the milk was warm. In closing this is the first time I did a bad review. In most cases my wife and I always write a AVG or above AVG review but not this time. James Kreiger

    3
« Good for an overnight stop »

First I would stay here again. Our room faced the airport takeoff runway. Believe it or not neither one of us heard a plane after we went to bed. Not sure if it was exhaustion or the a/c unit or a combination. They could do better on room maintenance. Nothing major happened but a leaking faucet and sticky carpet are things that should be addressed. The staff were very helpful and considerate. Breakfast was the usual hotel fair but the dining area is way too small. Every seat filled and food was being taken back to the rooms....maybe that's why my carpet had a big sticky spot! Room was clean. However the hotel overall needs some updated lighting. No matter where you were at in the hotel it seemed a little dim.

« The Friendliest of Staff Personnel »

Recently, I had occasion to stay at the Best Western McCarran Inn three times within a two week period: 9/18-20; 9/23-24; and 9/26-27. My introduction to this establishment came when I met the hotel's driver, Ricardo, at the airport shuttle lot. He was enthusiastic about those of us visiting Las Vegas and was most courteous. He subsequently took me to the airport on the morning of 9/24 to pick up a rental car and was, again, very professional. The overall staff with whom I came in contact was exemplary. I met Bianca, Ricky, Gina, and Juan on various occasions and was delighted in the attention given to me, whether seeking to store bags for several days, taking the shuttle back to the airport, or concerning other minor issues. In essence, my trip was made all the better with my contact with all personnel at this Inn.

    3
    « Good location...but with a cost... »

The location is very convenient to airport-roughly a mile. Desk clerk(s) were very helpful and informative. Room was clean, no problems there. However.....due to close proximity to airport, you DO have to listen to jets going overhead. They DO provide earplugs for guests, however, Just remember that you will endure airplane noise in exchange for close proximity.

« The only Best Western available on a Friday night in Las Vegas. »

Wanted to meet relatives in Las Vegas on a Friday night, and this was the only Best Western available. As it turned out, it was a pleasant surprise. Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff as well. Being very close to the airport we thought it might be noisy, but that was not the case. Would definitely stay there again.

  • 4
    « Convenient »

Breakfast was good. 5 min from airport when using the shuttle. Car return at airport is really far away. Plan an extra 30 min or so. We returned it the night before so we could use the shuttle for a quick , hassle free early morning drop off at the airport.

Very clean rooms, helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast. Easy to find, near car rental and airport. Easy on and off access to the major routes. Would definitely stay there again. They have a PC and printer for your use.

Clean, comfortable beds, friendly service Stored our luggage while we were on a rafting trip in The Grand Canyon Earplugs provided as very near the airport - but were not required. Would have been handy when we stayed right on The Strip!

    « Amazing »

Everyone was so nice and helpful . The breakfast was very good for being a hotel . I was very happy with how clean the room was . It was not very noise at all . This hotel is only a mile from the strip and I was very happy I didnt have to hear the noise from the strip but it was very close

    « September 2016 »

Noisy because of airport, but that was our choice to be near airport, because we had to return our rental car early in morning, etc. Staff were very courteous and assisted us with directions when needed. I also had trouble connecting to my airlines to print off boarding passes. The desk clerk helped me with that and printed them off for me.

« If you rent a car, this hotel is convenient »

We stayed here one night before an early morning flight. The hotel was able to accommodate an early checkin, and the staff at the front desk were very helpful. The room was large and clean. Because it is so close to the airport, it was noisy, but they provide earplugs. It actually was a lot quieter at night. Maybe there were less flights, but we still slept pretty well. The airport shuttle was great. We used it twice, once to do an early return of our rental car and once to go to the airport in the morning. The front desk staff helped us choose a great restaurant and also told us where on the Strip we could park for free. Can't say enough about how helpful they were! If anything could be improved, it might be to have a 4 AM shuttle for the folks leaving at 6 AM. We left later, so it wasn't a problem for us. The first shuttle leaves at 5 AM. Take this into consideration if you have a very early flight out and don't have a rental car.

    « Airport Stay »

The hotel is located very close to the airport, excellent for an early morning flight. The front desk staff was very good on being able to give us updates on the construction around the airport and the best way to get to the rental car return. They also helped us find a local UPS Store to ship things home at the end of our trip. The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the first floor near the side door. We were a bit worried about noise, but it was not a problem, and it turned out it made it easy to move bags from our car to the room and back. Unfortunately we left too early for breakfast service, so can't speak to that.

« Best Western, Las Vegas »

When we were going to our room there was a sewer smell by the elevator. We had to get tickets to eat breakfast for the next day, which was annoying. The food was not good, eggs hard, no bacon, biscuits or gravy. Hotel needs to be upgraded, the inside was rundown and the smell was horrific! We will never stay at this hotel again!

    « Typical And Adequate »

Well, I suppose all Best Western motel/hotels are pretty much the same (hopefully) . A clean bed, a modest breakfast, an inexpensive stay over with no frills. Having said that, this one, at the Vegas Airport, is somewhat more costly at 130.00 a night but competitive with all the others in the airport. It is also somewhat more modest as Best Westerns go but it does the trick. A decent bed and friendly service. What more can a weary traveler expect.

    « Poor shuttle service »

The hotel was fine. Staff was friendly. Biggest problem was waiting 2 hrs for shuttle driver to pick us up at airport. We had called several times. Nice waiting area with water and tea. Close to airport.

« Hotel by Las Vegas Airport »

Hotel was very nice. We had a lot of difficulty in getting there because of construction and our GPS kept routing us back to a closed street. It was late at night and we were tired and just wanted to get to the hotel and sleep.

    « Great Airport Hotel »

We stayed here the night before flying out of the LAS to return home to New Jersey. The room was comfortable and clean. Sorry we weren't able to have breakfast before we left, but have had good breakfasts at other Best Westerns, so expect it was good.

« Stay at Best Western McCarran Inn »

Excellent all the way around! Kind and helpful staff! Great rooms - everything is outstanding! Love the location - 5 minutes or less to the airport! Close to the strip in Las Vegas! Just love staying here. Shuttle to the airport is GREAT!

    « Excellent Comfort »

The beds were very comfortable, thought we would hear the planes all night, but did not hear any of them. Would stay again. The amount it cost was much better than I expected. It is so close to the strip, and the airport, which we did not use, as were driving, but it was easy getting out of town the next day too. I would highly recommend this hotel, everyone was pleasant, rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was very good. I will surly tell my friends and family about this location. Why pay extra to stay on the strip, when you can have such a good room at a price you can surely afford. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was a little concerned when I saw ear plugs on the nightstand, but we did not hear one plane take off until we were up and ready to leave the next morning. I would like to take a moment to compliment the manager of this facility as he or she certainly takes a lot of interest in this establishment and it certainly shows!

« We stay here often »

A great Inn--the best place to stay when flying in or out of Las Vegas, or visiting the area for a few days (we prefer not to stay in casino hotels). Staff is helpful, service is always great, good breakfast and regular shuttle to the airport.

« Great experience and good oasis (with a couple of feedback points for management) »

I generally like everything about Best Western... basic, clean, functional, and practical. Not the Ritz but not Motel-6 either. Check-in was easy, everything worked perfectly in the room, good enough exercise room, decent breakfast, good internet, friendly staff (for most part). Couple of feedback points to consider: - Couldn't find whole milk at breakfast but that may be a Vegas thing - The night person on duty was a little obtuse... but at midnight, the desk person is probably not hired for their charming personality. The desk person in the morning apologized for the charming person of the night duty person. - I was told the exercise room doesn't open until 9am and no exceptions. The posted sign outside the gym said 9am - 7pm. This I do NOT understand. - I usually want a good place to sleep, get my morning exercise, get my breakfast and hit the road. This is not a destination resort where someone wants to lounge around all day and eventually saunter into the exercise room at Noon (if at all). So why impose this schedule? - The exercise room is card-keyed, with no attendant on duty at any time. So why not make it available 24 hours even... or at least allow access at 6am? - It turned out I was able to get in at 8am by using my room key even though posted sign said 9am.

« Blah but cheap and close to the airport »

Okay I booked a fairly inexpensive room through Expedia for this hotel and I guess you get what you pay for. I wanted to be close to the airport for an early flight in the morning. It seems like in Vegas it wouldn't be hard to offer a simple inexpensive room. The place does not smell very nice. The front desk people are clueless. The lobby is not tidy and has no comfortable area to wait for the room that is not ready for an hour after promised check-in time. The room itself is sufficient and seems clean.

    3
« Good place to stop one night »

The hotel was clean and neat. Not near much in terms of places to eat, but with a reasonable walk across several wide well traveled roads you can reach food. Good place if you need airport shuttle. Friendly front desk staff, but they were not knowledgeable about local eateries. Good to know that breakfast was included with room rate.

    « JMHS Pep Squad »

Excellent Choice for a High School Team. It was youth friendly. Close to the Strip. In walking distance of UNLV and close to stores, eating vendors, etc. It was nice and cozy This was a GREAT experience for us.

« Best western Las Vegas McLaren airport »

Very surprised with the hotel expected bit of a dive but so wrong, very clean and liked the style. Rooms. Easy to get to and easy to drop the hire car back off, the rooms were clean and beds nice and big with air con. Pool was nice we went at 9am thought it would be cold but a nice temp. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, making your own waffles with the machine fun for the kids. Overall very surprised only downside right near airport good for how close bad for the planes coming over but you don't really notice after the first few. Then again my little boy loved seeing them fly over and so did I. If I do stay over in Vegas again i would there but only for a night as a stop over to travel on.

    « BW Las Vegas »

Good hotel for the location and the price we paid. Particular convenient if you staying one night before going to a trip to any of national parks. Nice to have a good breakfast - as ti was for this type of hotesl

    3
« Near the McCarran Airport »

OK place to stay, basic. Nothing fancy small rooms clean. If you plan on staying more than 1-2 nights stay a little further away (noise) but if your near the airport you have to expcet it. After stayinng in Best WEstern Plus's for the past week this is a BIG step down. But again, location to the airport was a major factor for us.

    5
« Very comfortable and convenient »

This hotel is comfortable with very convenient parking and very close to the airport. It was quiet, clean and had a decent breakfast. Staff was helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent value.

    3
    « 2mins from airport »

2 mins from airport, free shuttle , good hot breakfast, fairly clean, honestly for $100 a night I could have stayed at a nicer place in Vegas, but chose this to be near the airport for a 6:00 am flight, that's the only reason to stay here, is 2 mins from the airport.

    4
    « Airport Convenience »

This is a no-frills, clean hotel just outside the airport gates (no airport noise!). What it lacks in amenities - no casino, no restaurant - it makes up for in convenience. With a 5 minute complementary shuttle and a convenient on-site parking plan, it's worth going elsewhere to eat and play, especially if you have an early flight.

    5
    « Couldn't ask for better »

AC went out in my home and needed a place for 2 days. These folks were very accommodating. Thank you Tracey and the staff of BW McCarran Inn. You all made what could have been a horrible time so much easier.

    3
« Good for the money »

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. No frills but I had a great night sleep and that is all I was hoping for. I would recommend if you did not plan on spending too much time in the room. It's a nice break from the hot Vegas sun.

    4
« Pleasant overnight stay prior to flight home »

Pleasant rooms and comfortable beds. There was a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. We were a family of 6 and had a rooms with an adjoining door. Good selection at breakfast. The only negative was there was a little aircraft noise in the early morning.

    3
    « Meh, Okay »

This hotel is located fairly close to the strip. You can walk there in 15 mins or take the bus which is only $5 for an all day pass. The best thing about this hotel is the AC works great. The rooms are bla, not dirty but just cheap. Not that I wouldn't expect that for this type of hotel. If I could find the same room rate on the strip, I would stay there over this hotel any day. The service was good and the employees were friendly.

« Nice Quiet Hotel Very Close to the Airport »

We were surprised how quiet our room was even though the hotel is so close to the airport. Great nights sleep and caught our flight out in time. The continental breakfast was decent...we've had better, but we've had worse.

    2
« Skip it and stay on the strip »

Didn't realize that the airport is very, very close to the Vegas strip. The Best Western was literally less than a two minute drive from the MGM Grand. Despite our early am fight, I would have much rather stayed on the strip. If you look for last minute accommodations, you can also do better on price on much better places. The only positive thing I can say is that the desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were claustrophobic, bathroom tiny and sheets were stained. Would not recommend. ?

    5
« very comfortable. will definately come back »

very nice room. comfortable and clean. not much of a view from my room but all i have to do is go outside.the refrigerator was a little too cold though, it froze my bottle of water(which you should drink alot of here in Vegas)

    4
« Good prices for good location; rooms slightly lacking »

This hotel is so close to the airport that it's even closer than my car rental location. It offers free shuttle service to the airport and has a TV showing departures and arrivals. The rooms are in need of refurbishment. It's clean, but not very modern. Generally excellent overall.

    2
    « Uncomfortable Motel »

We were very disappointed when we checked in. The room was tiny. Two people could not unpack at the same time in this twin room. The sink was in the corridor. I really felt I was in some kind of nightmare. By no means was the rate indicative of such a poor room. The breakfast was inedible. We are not looking for a lavish breakfast. The scrambled eggs seemed to be made of dehydrated eggs. Quite leathery and horrible. There was some white glutinous sauce with bits of sausage floating around. The bread was like cardboard. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was quite depressing. People just ate some milk and cereal and bolted as we did. The tables are so close together and very few so that people are waiting around for a chance to try to eat the stuff they put out. I also left my shoes in the hotel and when I called back an hour later, they were untraceable. We stayed a night and checked into the Marriot. I would warn everyone to be careful when booking this place.

    5
    « great staff »

this staff is what the words above and beyond mean. great area to the airport and a wonderful place to park your car when you travel. I have never had any problems at all. I will continue to stay here anytime I travel. I can't thank them enough for all they do to get me from the hotel to the airport and then back again.

    3
    « Decent »

It depends what you are looking for. A bedroom in a famous hotel along the strip has a very low cost - everything else is expensive. For example the parking if you las vegas is part of a wider journey. Here you have free car park, a clean room (even though the AC is very noisy), a free wifi, and a free breakfast, which is quite decent and they offer also options for people for food diseases. They have a small pool and a small gym (with kettle-bells). The moquette is a very dirty and i would suggest the manager of the hotel to change it - the impact would be really different. It is extremely convenient if you need to reach the airport (it is just next to the entrance) or if you need to drop-off the car (btw it has a gasoline station just behind to refill the car).

    5
    « Great Value »

We like this motel because of its proximity to the airport. We've used it four or five times over the last few years. We've always been treated well, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We've always stayed just one night - we drive down to Vegas and get a bit of sleep before catching a flight somewhere. Most of our stays have been in late October, however this stay was the last week of August. Vegas was115 degrees when we arrived at about 9 pm, but we were able to cool our room quickly to about 70 degrees for sleeping. THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING! I don't know many motels with actual, working thermostats in rooms. This one really worked and we got a good solid night's rest. We were able to park our car in the motel parking lot for two weeks while we traveled to Alaska, a really convenient option for us. It's cheaper than long-term airport parking and the motel shuttle took us right to the airport. They were also very timely picking us back up when we flew back into Vegas two weeks later.

    3
    « Close to Airport »

Property is close to the airport with free shuttle or a 20 minute walk. Rooms are clean, breakfast is good and the staff was helpful. I wouldn't stay here if just vacationing in Vegas but it's great for a quick trip close to the airport.

    5
    « great airport hotel »

one of the best hotels located near the airport. Great service, breakfast, and comfortable room with free shuttle to the airport. if you like Mexican food, there is a great dinner just one hundred yards toward the airport on the same side of the road. sorry i forgot the name.

  • 4
    « Pleasant place »

It is very convenient to the airport (including a free shuttle), but a little far from the Strip (I think about a mile). The hotel itself is clean, the staff friendly and the included breakfast was quite nice. I was pleased.

    3
« Good for the price »

Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the location to the strip was convenient (less than 10 minutes). It's a great value overall. They have a small but clean pool, and a small fitness room. It's right around the corner from UNLV. The breakfast isn't grad, but not horrible either, For the price of the room, I guess the breakfast is fine.

    5
« Great Location when flying out »

Just finished a 10 day road trip and this hotel was in a great location. Close to the rental car return and to the airport. The check-in and check-out personnel were very genial and helpful. Great breakfast area and good selection of items.

    5
    « Wonderful airport hotel »

Hotel is clean, comfortable and is the closest to McCarran Airport. Wonderful customer service too! The continental breakfast is good and has an adequate selection of breakfast foods. The rooms are clean and fresh and very comfortable.

    5
« Best accommodation in Vegas »

Our travel agent booked our flights one day before and one day after our accommodation had been booked, so we spent the first and last nights of our time in Vegas at the Best Western - and it was 1000% better than the casino "resort" that we didn't the rear of the time at. It is clean, comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast is amazing. Plus free shuttle to and from the airport. If I ever come back to Vegas for any reason, I will be spending my whole time here.

    5
« excellent for off the strip relaxation »

This hotel was was much better then hotels on or next to the Vegas Strip and without the added on resort fees. Across the street from the airport, but I never heard one plane or had bright lights through the window. We had the two bed and sofa suite, very large with plenty of floor space for our 16-month old to play and run. Still had time for a trip to the Vegas Strip which was close, but not in the mist of all the craziness. Perfect spot, wonderful staff and great room. My only issue would be the one laundry room with only 2 washers on level 2, not enough washers for a large hotel.

    4
    « Worked for us! »

This hotel worked for us. We needed a place to stay close to the LAS airport with a shuttle. The front desk and shuttle driver were very helpful and we were happy with our stay. That being said, this is not a luxury hotel that Las Vegas has on the Strip. It could use some updating. However, it met our needs. We left too early in the morning to have breakfast here on their breakfast buffet. Other meals can be ordered from a menu and the food delivered.

    4
« Best Western Mc Carrin Airport »

Room was just fine. Complimentary breakfast needs mass improvement. Poor selections, scrambled eggs tasted like the box they came out of. Opened at 6 am, coffee was not ready until 6:15. No coffee in the lobby for guests. Close to the airport and great shuttle service and parking.

    4
« Great room; bad water odor, couldn't eat the breakfast! »

Great room! The bed and room was clean and comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave were good also. The staff were kind, courteous, informative, and extremely attentive. The only downside was that I DID NOT ENJOY MAKING MY OWN BREAKFAST!!!!! I would have rather have had the staff pre-make the waffles, etc and I could have selected food I desired. The tight, narrow "kitchen" was too unsanitary for me. Too many hotel guests were hovering over the waffle iron coughing, sputtering, and talking. Too many hands were sampling others food items, even though tongs were provided. The water quality smelled like well water which is the fault of Las Vegas and NOT the hotel. This effected the scambled eggs which smelled like the well water once they were warmed in the microwave. Sorry, I'm spoiled by Lake Michigan filtered water here at home. Would I revisit this hotel? Yes; the only thing I would do differently is to eat all meals outside the hotel.

    « Exceeded Expectations! »

After completing road trip and dropping off car rental, we stayed here for one night, as it was affordable and near the airport to catch our flight early the next morning. Check-in service was quick and friendly. We then dropped off car rental at airport, however had to take free car rental terminal shuttle back to airport terminal and then call hotel for free shuttle from airport terminal to hotel. But overall I thought the free transportation was a bonus. Hotel room was clean, beds super comfortable and hotel has small outdoor pool. Perfect for relaxing for a couple hours. Next morning, continental breakfast was included, service starting at 6am. Free shuttle from hotel to airport terminal. The location of the hotel seems very convenient to the strip. Straight down the road you arrive to the corner of MGM and Excalibur Hotels. Way too far to walk though, but I'm sure a taxi wouldn't cost too much. Also I heard that there is a city bus that services that same road and stops on the corner of MGM. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations.

    « Best Stay EVER!!! »

I have been staying at the Best Western McCarran Inn now for the past few years on my twice yearly trips to Las Vegas. This had to have been one of the BEST stays EVER. I came in a little bit early, not expecting to have my room ready, but the front desk staff assured me that my wait time would be less than a 1/2 hour even though I was way too early for the usual 4:00 p.m. check-in time. I got a great room and of course the breakfast is always wonderful. I also needed to have some ice packs frozen. The in-room refrigerator just wouldn't freeze them solid. The front-desk clerk took them from me and froze them overnight in the hotel freezer. Now that's service!! All I know is that whenever I have friends wanting to come to Las Vegas, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Best Western McCarran Inn. The location is amazing (about a 30 minute walk from the strip), the staff is amazing (willing to help whenever they can); which makes for an AMAZING stay!!

« Would stay here again »

Coming in at midnight after a 17 hour flight, the very courteous shuttle driver and hotel staff was much appreciated. The breakfast was in line with other BW hotels and was complete. The breakfast area was on the crowded side, but it was because of multiple sports teams all descending at once. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and staff exceptionally courteous and helpful

Stayed here with my husband for a business trip. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Few minutes away from casinos. This is actually the 2nd time we have stayed here and would stay here again. Breakfast area is really small. Recommend to get there early to get a spot. Overall, great stay!

« Best airport hotel Las Vegas »

We always stay here when flying in or out of Las Vegas. It is so very convenient for the airport....their airport shuttle will have you there in less than 5 mins...the shuttle bus also does regular trips into the Strip for your entertainment options

« Decent Stay, decent price »

This was a nicely-maintained hotel near the airport. We're no Vegas fans, and just needed a travel stop. This was a great solution: on our way, without the Vegas hassle and mess. Room was very clean, breakfast on the upper end of the basic hotel breakfast. Room came with complimentary earplugs, but it was a very quiet room. No airport noise on our side of the building. Could've used a second clerk at check-in and check-out to get us through quicker.

    4
    « A Conveinent Stay »

We chose McCarran Inn for the final stay after a long and demanding trip. Its closeness to McCarran Airport made our last stay easy in terms of returning our renal car and preparing for our flight back to Rhode Island. In addition, the amenities and staff were refreshingly pleasant. One sour note was our shuttle to the airport. Our driver dumped us and our luggage into the middle of a travel lane at the airport. We had to dodge traffic and haul our luggage to check in amid travel lanes.

    4
    « Nice & friendly! »

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and getting off the Strip. Its great if you are catching a early flight since their is a complimentary shuttle. Tip the driver! hotel room small but great price. Not reccomended for multiple days since its not next to airport, not strip

    « Best Western Airport »

I stay at Best Westerns because of the caring, helpful people and for the excellent breakfast. We found the room to be very clean. Again the staff was very helpful with directions, with getting a wheelchair for my wife, with locating us near the elevator. They went out of their way to help us.

    « Locked in Bathroom »

My son and I entered the room and my son wanted to check out our bathroom like all 5 year olds do. We enter the bathroom and he shuts the door behind us and continue to look around in the bathroom. Once we concluded the tour, we tried to open the door and find that it won't open. The handle moved up and down, but the door was still closed. We tried for the next 10 minutes with no avail until my wife used a credit card to free us from the bathroom. My son still thinks there is always a chance of getting locked in a bathroom. Please be cautious when entering their bathrooms.

« Average hotel but ok for an overnight stay »

Nothing to rave about but comfortable enough and very close to the airport. However, be aware that the shuttle to the airport can only take about 11 people in one go - the morning we took it, there were 12... ;-(

« Good off strip location »

This hotel is very close to the airport, making it very handy if you are only in town for a short visit. We stayed here on two separate occasions over a period of 8 days. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport, but you do need to let them know when you arrive at the airport so they know to expect you. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Both rooms we had were a good size, with functioning air conditioning, fridge and microwave. Both rooms were clean and the daily housekeeping visits were good at replenishing towels etc. Neither of the rooms had a particular good shower, I appreciate that water pressure in Nevada won't always be great but even getting the shower to stay at a comfortable temperature could be a challenge. It's about a 20 minute walk to the strip, but only about a five minute walk to the Thomas and Mack centre (helpful for us as the event we were in town for was being held there). There are a few restaurants closer than the strip and it's really easy to get a cab if you want to spend more time on the strip but don't fancy the walk. The hotel offers free breakfast but the dining area is quite small. Most mornings there was a crush in the small food serve area and while we were always able to get a table this was not always easy. I didn't use the pool but my partner did and said it was clean and good for a swim.

Had a good stay in Best Western McCarran . Close to the strip . Breakfast was decent . The bathroom had an issue where the tap was reversed for hot and cold . Apart from that room was clean and with all amenities. We got a good rate and felt it was good value for the money we paid .

We stayed in this hotel purposefully to be close to the airport on our way back from our vacation (flying out of Vegas). If you want to be relatively close to the airport (and just a short drive away from the Strip), this is a good location for that. It wasn't noisy (although our room was towards the back of the hotel), but given that it is right on the road leading into the airport, it was extremely convenient location-wise. We had a rental car to return, and it was very easy to get to the Rental Car Return center (at which then you pick up the shuttle back to the airport). All of that was a piece of cake. As for the hotel... it's dated and extremely busy, but for a 1-2 day stay, it worked fine for us. They were painting the hallways of our floor the day we got there, so that at least told us they do regular maintenance. There aren't really any close restaurants (that we saw), but the hotel offers an extensive room service (it's through a local restaurant that then delivers to your room at the hotel) for food... we were tired from a long drive, so this option worked. The food was so-so, but generous in terms of portions. The front desk was very friendly and helpful every time we asked them a question. The free breakfast was good, but the area gets very crowded, so just plan for that if you are on a tight schedule. The pool area was nice and we used that all afternoon the day we got there (wasn't crowded at all like the hotels at the strip). Again... great location if you want to be close to the airport and/or decent hotel just a little bit off the strip (no resort fees). Some rooms do have views of the Strip (nice at nighttime), the rooms towards the back of the hotel are likely less noisy since not on the street/facing airport. The front of the hotel faces both the airport and the strip (although it's a mile away (+/-)

« good for an overnight stay »

We flew in to Las Vegas at 10 p.m. We got to the Best Western at 11:30 p.m. The bed was comfortable. We woke up early. The breakfast was good. I thought about taking a morning swum but the pool was down. It was being worked on. If you stay on the strip, they charge at least a $31 resort fee. We just stayed there and headed to California with a rental car in the morning.

« Wonderful facility with wonderful staff »

This was our last stop before returning to Maryland. A day or so before we arrived, I noticed a cheaper rate on the motel's website for the same type of room I had booked. I called and the woman I spoke to was great! We had originally booked a room with two queen beds for four of us. We thought we would get our two daughters their own room for the last night of the trip. The woman I spoke to was able to get us the original two-queen room for our daughters as well as a king-room for my wife and myself for less than $60 more than what we had originally booked the one room for! We had a great time and the staff couldn't have been nicer.

I was awaiting a response from manager before writing the review. Despite several e-mails it never came. We are pretty experienced travelers all over the word, and choose McCarran since it was close to the airport and presented itself well. I am a contributor to TripAdvisor so understood from the reviews that some rooms have issues, others not, but that staff often was helpful. I mentioned this when ordering, and I called up twice (day before, and same day) to make sure we could have a reasonably quietly room, and was politely handled. I also explained we would be in late, ca 1030pm. Turning up at 1045pm, we got room 307 with a noisy air con outside, the elevator likewise noisy (and used in the middle of the night), the room very warm, the aircon when it got going was difficult to adjust, airplanes going up just outside and very very difficult to sleep (even the kid woke up before 6).Hopefully it was the least attractive room they had. It was totally hopeless to sleep except for a couple of hours when it was a bit more quiet. This was a great disappointment, and clearly internal communication is not working. The front desk man claimed all rooms were booked and no upgrade possible. Also another tips for renovation; the double bed was for too soft. For anyone with a back problem, they would be a problem.

« Ok! Good Location,, easy to park, terrible pool cleaning. »

Tried to use pool one morning. Got a towel at the front desk but gave up after arriving at the pool. It was dirty, dirty and dirty. Plastics, papers and birds feathers at the water. Tried myself to clean but gave up. Worst was front desk worker excuse "Sorry sir, it is an outsourced service".... Easy to park and to take luggage to room.

Room well maintained and clean. However, I woke on Wednesday June 8, 2016 and had a "tick" on my leg. Where it came from is any one's guess. I did save it and it has been shipped to the State of Michigan Health services for evaluation.

    « Just average,with problems »

I've stayed at this property several times in the past few years and the same problem persists, year after year. Every morning at breakfast, guests leave their tables filthy and the staff never once came to clean a table. Instead, the staff gathers in the hallway to talk with their friends, completely ignoring the dirty tables. I watched guests cleaning the tables themselves. This property never seems to have rooms available for upgrade for their top tier Rewards members. I'm not sure if the pool is video monitored, but I watched from my room as children abused pool furniture and were a general nuisance. I'm not talking about toddlers. These were 10-12 year olds.

    « excellent hotel »

good overall performance by staff, good room and excellent accomodation only downside was disappointing breakfast facilities. Close to airport with good shuttle service. Some slight distubance from planes but not too noticeable.

« Great hotel for airport access -- excellent staff »

This hotel is very convenient for access in and out of the Las Vegas airport. It it is somewhat dated in style and decor, but it is clean, comfortable, and has the key amenities -- breakfast, airport shuttle, wifi, in room fridge. The front desk staff were by far the greatest asset of this hotel. They were efficient and knowledgeable about navigating back and forth to the airport and assisted with details with patience and knowledge.

    « Clean airport hotel »

Clean regular hotel nearby airport and to Las Vegas boulevard is only 20 minutes walk from the hotel. There is nice swiming pool area in hotel's backyard. Lot of free parking places for cars in hotel's parking lot. Rooms are quite tight and the breakfast area in the lobby is too small for visitors. ATM, self service laundry and airport shutle bus are available in the hotel.

    5
« Very friendly and flexible with check out time! »

Our flight was at midnight, and they let us extend our checkout to 3:30 as well as letting us wait in the comfy chairs in the lobby with free interest. Took us to airport as well. They would have let us go in the pool as well if we wanted. Breakfast was basic but just what you need.

    5
    « Great Stay! »

I stay here for work regularly. The Staff is friendly the rooms are always clean, and the Breakfast is always stocked! I would definitely recommend this Best Western Location for anyone doing business in Vegas or anyone vacationing who wants to be close to the Strip, but not stay on it.

    5
« good location close to airport »

This was the third time I'd stayed at this hotel on way in or out of Vegas - continues to provide good value and a good location for my purposes. Good breakfast, accommodating staff - holding our luggage post check out while we went on a Grand Canyon tour.

    5
« Excellent location from LV airport »

Excellent customer service all around. Free transportation to and from the airport. We weren't too far from the Strip and one of the Hard Rock Cafes. My sons enjoyed the pool. Good breakfast. Manager was nice enough to provide good places to eat.

    « rafting »

Personnel at hotel were very accomodating. Rooms were clean and showers were excellent. Plenty of hot water for cleaning up. We spent some time at pool relaxing. Pool deck was clean and tables were also clean. We had to skim the pool of some leaves. Pool skimmer was readily available.

    « mccarren »

Hotel staff was excellent, the breakfast area was pretty small. great place to stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel again. I appreciated the quick service and class of the staff that my family experienced. I hope that everyone has the same experience that we had.

« Good hotel near airport »

Not a fancy hotel, but very quiet near airport. Had difficulties with GPS from rental car site due to road construction. Breakfast was adequate. Check-in and check-out was smooth. The suites are large and accommodating.

« Short stop for a long layover neat McCarron Airport »

My husband and I recently traveled to Yellowstone by way of the Vegas airport (McCarron) with 10 hours between flights. All we needed was a free shuttle, a shower, and a nice bed; we got exactly what we came for and the hotel met our needs quite nicely. It's an older place, but it was very clean and had some updated room features. No complaints about the air traffic noise either. With the air conditioner running, we didn't need the earplugs they provided on the nightstand. Would definitely recommend for a convenient, short stay close to the airport.

    3
« Adequate for Airport Business »

I have stayed here twice. This is a very basic hotel. Feels old and not well kept up. Rooms are small. A/C did not work well and room was hot in the PM despite AC blowing full. TV had HDMI ports for hooking up devices to them, but the remote control did not allow for that and there was no way to change input source on the TV. Very frustrating to have the physical ability to do that where apparently the hotel management is preventing it. This hotel is very close to the airport, and we used it for either arriving late before heading out to a different destination (first stay) the next day, or for coming from another destination to stay overnight near the airport for an early morning flight (this stay). It is adequate for that, but would be a poor choice as a base for a Las Vegas or area vacation. I am likely to try a different property the next time I need a single night stay near the airport.

« Friendly service and clean rooms »

We had great service at the front desk when we arrived. Both the evening and the early morning clerks were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was clean and just right for our one night stay.

    4
    « Convenient to airport »

Good option for those who are flying out the next morning. Shuttle drivers are prompt and helpful. Within walking distance of restaurants. Morning breakfast area was attractive and had a well stocked menu.

« Overnight Business Trip Las vegas »

Great stop for an overnight business trip with early morning departure home. Close to airport. Great value. Clean, Affordable. Only drawback is lack of dining nearby. Good breakfast in morning and quick shuttle to airport for early return flight.

    3
    « value for money »

Value for money. Shuttle from the airport is only until 11PM. Hostel is a bit old, but rooms are ok and clean. Breakfast is good, a lot of options. Hotel is close to the airport. A rental car will be an option.

    « great stay »

great staff, clean property, convenient location near airport, good breakfast, nice clean rooms ,good internet , all employee where nice , pool was clean, we will back in town this fall. las vegas we had fun

    « Convenient to Airport »

We picked this motel because it was one of the most reasonably priced place not far from the airport. The motel is what you would expect from a fairly small Best Western, adequate, but not elegant. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the room cleaning was still going on, the desk person was able to get us into a room early which was very helpful for us. A free van provided friendly drivers to take us to and from the airport. The motel is walking distance from the strip but as the temperature was 108 degrees, we had the desk staff arrange a taxi for us that cost us $15-20.

    5
« A fine place to stay near the Las Vegas airport »

We had a one-night stay at the McCarran Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the shuttle drivers and the front-desk worker who enabled us to check in early. The motel is about a $15-$20 cab ride from the Bellagio and other Strip attractions, but it is only about 5 minutes by shuttle from the airport. The breakfast was fine and had nice variety.

    « VGood »

Stayed here in October 2015 for 3 day Good place to stay Close to strip easy access to the strip either walking or on the bus which you can pay for 24 hours ticket was cheap buses always clean and regular service also Close to the end of the runway but didn't notice the noise from the planes inside good access for cars when arriving and leaving also getting in and out of the building many access points from car parking area by way of using your room key also really nice staff always helpful and courteous if on a budget I would recommend here also has a free shuttle service to and from the airport but didn't use it

    4
« Off the beaten path »

we stayed here on a stop over on our National Parks roadtrip. It is about a mile off the strip and much cheaper than hotels on the strip. the airport is right across the street but we enjoyed seeing the jets take off. Noise level is not bad at night, only during day and early evening. I would have appreciated a shuttle up to the strip, but we ended up taking our vehicle. Room was nicely decorated but the vanity area is very small and difficult for two people to share. Beds are very comfortable. overall, a good value

    5
    « Another Great Stay »

Convenience, comfort everything you need; Reliable high speed internet, a spacious refrigerator, effective AC, microwave, a clean, comfortable, quiet room; These are all things you take for granted if you do not have them. I missed them at other hotels in Las Vegas.

    « Had a great stay !! »

Nice hotel, clean rooms, convenient location to Strip,Freeway and Bolder Highway & Airport I see other reviews mention airplane noise.....not a problem unless you are an "early to bed" kind of person. Will stay again when our travels take us thru Las Vegas as it does a few times a year.

    4
    « Great Value »

Clean rooms, everything worked in room, helpful and pleasant staff, free wifi, pool, breakfast buffet. Near airport but was not noisy when I was there on a Friday night. Free shuttle to airport. Long walk or taxi to strip, but you're saving a LOT on the room. Highly recommend!!

    4
    « comfortable overnight stay »

We chose this motel for its convenient location close to the airport and reasonable price. The king bed was very comfortable and the staff were pleasant. Breakfast was included and though it was hardly gourmet, at least the choices were pretty extensive. The room was very clean, although it looked a tad worn. Reasonably quiet. Free wifi, decent signal. Would stay here again.

    4
« Good for the price »

Our issues with the hotel: No tissue in the room No way to get to the strip - have to take a taxi. It would be nice if the van took folks to one place on the strip. and lastly - it is by the airport, so good and bad, great for getting to the airport, bad for sleeping.

    5
« Great place to stay near Las Vegas airport »

We chose this motel because it was close to the airport so we wouldn't have far to drive early the next morning when we flew out. It was very clean. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Noise from the airport wasn't a problem. We only heard one plane taking off before we went to sleep. Ear plugs were provided if we needed them, but we didn't. The price was reasonable. Highly recommended!

    5
« Close to the Strip, good Service »

We did Walk to the Strip and back. The Roms are nice, breakfast good, seating couldn't take all, maybe because we stayed at a Weekend. Parking is a Great advantage. Didn't Use any of the other facilities.

    2
    « Bad breakfast »

I go to Best Western mainly for the free breakfast. Gravy was cold, eggs were rubber, fruit tasted bad. I've been to a lot of Best Westerns and this was the worst one by far. Beds were comfortable, price was good.

    5
« Good hotel near the airport »

Good hotel close to the airport. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. More so then other nicer hotels we have stayed in before. No complaints. We would stay again. Parking was easy and free.

    « McCarran »

Perfectly satisfactory. It was a clean hotel room with no frills but was quiet. Several good restaurants are within walking distance, in a mall across from the Hard Rock Cafe. The Indian restaurant was very good. Nice to have options that are not on the strip.

    3
    « Convenient and competent »

Standard basic motel. Breakfast only for meals. Limited shop but convenience store is nearby. Could not be easier to get to and from the airport (downtown would be a shlep). Staff was courteous, helpful and competent.

    « Travel Hotel »

Hotel is in a very convenient location when flying out of McCarren Airport in Las Vegas. They offer to watch your vehicle which saves airport parking fees and drop off and pick you up which saves a lot of hassle at the airport. Rooms are somewhat noisy as it is very close to the airport. Time from the hotel to the departure gate is about 5 minutes.

    5
« so convenient to airport »

This was the 2nd time we've stayed here on the night before flying out of Las Vegas. It's very close to the airport (they even provide ear plugs because jets go overhead but we didn't need them) and a quick drive to the car rental return early in the morning. The staff was very helpful - the printer in the business center wasn't working and the woman at the desk printed out our boarding passes.

    3
    « Pretty good... »

Great location if where you want to be near Airport and UNLV. Breakfast below average compared with other Best Westerns. Staff often cannot keep up with the breakie eating demand. Desk staff good and courteous.

    3
« Not really my cup of Best Western »

Rooms are small not well maintained, rooms are focused for airport travelers and we were stop over family. Not the really best western style hotels, things does not work at the restrooms and television is terrible.

    5
« great hotel to stay at when going to the airport »

Everyone one was nice and helpful. Room was good. It was nice to have a good breakfast. Out side noise from the airport was a bit noise, but tolarable. Room was very comfortable and clean. No bar or casino on site, which worked well for us. They had a shuttle to and from they airport. Restaurants were a short driving distance from the hotel.

    4
    « As expected »

+ Service, Breakfast as expected, Clean rooms, Friendly personal - Shuttle to the Strip would be fine, Noise (depending of the Aircraft departing direction), Sometimes not enough tables in the breakfast area

    4
« Convenient to Airport and the Strip »

Very convenient to Airport and all the action of Las Vegas Strip. Room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. I would stay here again. Price was good with no extra charges. Staff was helpful and courteous.

    « trip »

very nice room. I always stay here when going out of town. I love how they shuttle you to and from the airport. They are always very nice who drives the van. We always give then a tip when driving us to the airport and picking us up.

« off the strip non casino hotel for families. Psst! You do not know you are in Sin City. »

Went to Utah with family and did not want to stay on strip. Good Beds easy to get to close to airport. Breakfast, free parking, shuttle to airport. Laundry facility and the front desk sells detergent. We were camping and needed to wash cloths. We had a Suite that was spacious and comfortable. Did not hear airplanes going over head. Solid walls, did not hear other guests going through halls.

    4
« Las Vegas without all those people »

I was wary, as some reviewers seemed to worry about the aircraft noise, but we were here for two days, and didn't actually hear the planes at all. The pool is little, but perfectly fine, with chairs and sunloungers. Breakfast was a bit crowded, with people having to wait for a table. Ring from the airport, and they send their shuttle to get you. We got a taxi from the hotel to the north end of the strip, and then walked down it, getting a taxi back to the Best Western from the Mandalay at the south end of the strip, and that was how to do Las Vegas in one day! I didn't see another hotel in our price range that I would have wanted to stay at, because this Best Western is quiet, and plain. See that glitz without having to spend the night deep inside it.

« Our in & out stay made wonderful »

It was our first time flying in & out of Las Vegas. This hotel and staff on the money with making it easy. Even with a new computer system coming on board, the staff kept their cool and apologized for any inconveniences. Staff members, Bianca and Raylean were very welcoming and remembered us even after a two week hiatus. On an aside note, maybe management could place dual plane windows to cut down on the airport flight noise.

    4
    « McCarran Inn »

Surprisingly enough, this hotel, even though it was in Las Vegas, had no slot machines in the lobby. In fact, it looked much like any other hotel in any other city in North America. It was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly, and no one was solicited even once. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

    4
    « Overnight Stay »

We needed a motel close to the airport to stay in overnight till we could check in to The Hilton Resort. We could not have found a better place. Very nice rooms with all the comforts of home. Very clean and newly decorated. The hot breakfast was very good with a helpful dining room staff to see to your every need.

    5
« Clean, quiet, front desk staff top notch »

We were very happy with out experience at BW McCarran! The room was spacious and clean. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Great breakfast. Our room was on the first floor - very quiet. They do provide ear plugs which we didn't find necessary. It was the last night of vacation - we were beat - rested very well. Checked rental car in the night before and took motel shuttle to the airport in the morning. Checked bags curbside - they made it SO EASY! Highly recommend.

    3
    « VERY NOISY »

This is an average Best Western, but the location, perhaps acceptable for one night travellers, is terrible. Located right by the approach to the airport, the noise levels are incredible. They even provide you with ear plugs on your night table!

    4
    « Close to Airport »

I was in Vegas for my friend's bachelorette and we stayed at the Mirage. They took off Sunday morning and I was there until Tuesday night. I was not looking to pay an arm and a leg for a room on my own, so I chose the Best Western McCarran Inn based off cost alone. Great hotel close to airport, free shuttle. Interior of hotel and rooms are dated, but great for a quick stay. great way to end my trip.

    5
    « Excellent »

4 Stars, Hotel was in excellent location. Breakfast and internet was excellent. Service and check our was excellent. Everything was clean, and in place! Nice! When in this area we will again use this hotel.

    4
    « Great location »

We use the BW whenever we are flying out of Vegas. In room frige, microwave, and Sleep N' Fly option that you don't find in most Vegas hotels. Staff was great. Now, if they could begin breakfast at 4:30AM for those catching the 5AM shuttle to McCarran, but they do provide a small bagged breakfast with a few items.

« My first time in Vegas »

I came to Vegas to celebrate my 27th birthday 1 month earlier this year, my friends idea. This hotel was EXTREMELY convenient for our stay. It was literally right next to the airport, on the same street. and 1 mile away from the Strip. I'm not saying the Strip is walking distance cause the streets are long but its literally right there!! Yes you can hear the airplanes but NOT to the extreme. IT doesnt wake you up in the middle of the night like you would think. With that said they have Ear Plugs waiting in the room for your convenience. The hotel isnt newly renovated but its homely which makes up for it. I was 100% comfortable through out my stay. Did not once feel dirty. And being a Best Western Employee I've stayed at many Best Westerns. I can actually say i was comfortable enough to sleep in the sheets and walk in the room bare foot. and believe me that NEVER HAPPENS!! The staff keeps the cleanliness up to the MAX! And James is VERY informative with all your questions. One last thing, if you are scrunching up your change for a cab i HIGHLY SUGGEST getting a rental. We stayed 4 days and 4 nights, took a cab to the strip and back each day, going both ways to and from atleast 2 times each per day. $15-20 each trip to or from the strip to or from the hotel. So if your're on a budge unlike us.. GET A RENTAL!

    4
« Easy airport access and good value »

This hotel is not fancy but a good value and staff is excellent. The shuttle to McCarran is excellent and price for leaving a car there can not be beat. I usually stay here but it does fill up fast so make a reservation right away.

« Nice hotel and a great value »

I was looking for a nice place to stay close to the airport and car rental return at LAS. This Best Western was perfect. The hotel staff were very helpful, the room was nice and quiet, the purple neon was fun and the checkout was quick. I was only five minutes from the car rental return. And breakfast was included. The coffee was better than most hotels. I know you appreciate that too.

    3
    « Nice but Noisy »

Pros: ? Close to airport - free shuttle. ? Friendly, helpful staff. ? Nicely remodeled inside. ? Breakfast buffet. Cons: ? Airplane noise. ? Limited dining options within walking distance. I'd read many reviews prior to choosing this hotel. And I did it anyway because of its proximity to McCarran Airport. O.M.G. They were NOT kidding about the noise. When you find complementary earplugs on the nightstand, it's a clue? This is an older building as evidenced by its architecture and smallish rooms, but it's been nicely remodeled with a modern color palette and newer TV, refrigerator, and microwave. My room was very comfortable and clean, and the shuttle drivers and desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet looked nice, but it opened right when I had to leave, so I missed out. I did notice ?to go? breakfast bags at the front desk, though ? wasn't aware that was an option. The very thing that drew me to this hotel is, unfortunately, also its major drawback: proximity to the airport. The 6:00 a.m. shuttle took about five minutes to reach Terminal 1 and less than 10 minutes to get to Terminal 3. But that closeness means the sound of jets taking off and landing all. night. long. It's loud enough to drown out the TV at higher-than-normal volume ? I don't know if the noise level varies depending on room location in the building. They can't very well pick up the hotel and move it, so you either deal with it or go elsewhere. I can sleep through a lot, the shuttle was quick, and the room was nice, so all in all my stay was fine.

    4
« The breakfast was delicious »

The place is clean enough and the service is good. Our tub drained really slow. There were lots of options for breakfast and it was really good for the price. This didn't bother me but you could hear the jets taking off all night they do provide ear plugs in the room :)

    2
    « Don't stay here »

If you value service from employees and a clean room, look elsewhere! The staff is too busy on cellphones to care about you or your needs. What ever happened to concept of people having to do some work, while at work?

    3
« Clean Hotel but desk stuff is not helpful »

The hotel is supper clean and the cleaning and breakfast staff are great workers. But the Check In and Check Out stuff were not helpful. You complain and they just make excuses but do not solve the problem.

    5
« Great place! Excellent service! »

I chose this motel specifically because of how close it is to the airport. Having taken taxis from the strip to the airport previously, and knowing how much the ride cost, I wanted to be closer ~ but SURPRISE! This place has a free shuttle! $20 saved! The service could not have been better. As a short line (1 person being helped, 2 including myself, waiting) formed at the reception desk, another clerk came in and helped. When I got to my assigned room, I realized maid service had not been there after the previous guest. Went back to the front desk, no problem - wiithin minutes I was ensconced in another room that was immaculately clean. The room is nothing fancy, but has newer furniture and bedding, flat screen tv, plantation shutters and granite counter on the small bathroom vanity. It also has a hair dryer and iron/ironing board. WIFI is free and works well. There is no restaurant on site but upon checkout you are offered takeout menus and there is also one in the room that for a company that delivers from various local restaurants and includes their menus. The clerks at the front desk were great. They keep the coffee in the lobby going all day and night. Iced lemon water is also available, as well as fruit, oatmeal, hot chocolate. While sipping a glass of the lemon water, I mentioned to the clerk how thirsty I was. 10 second later, she handed me 2 bottles of cold water to take back to my room. I did not hear a plane once, but ear plugs are supplied in the room for those who do. I was also offered a wake up call. There is a nice pool and a small gym, as well. For a relatively inexpensive place, it had all the amenities and was perfect for my stay the night before an early morning flight.

    4
« A quiet option near the airport »

We enjoyed our brief stay here. Suprisingly quiet given the proximity to the airport. The front desk staff was very helpful in directing us to free parking on the strip and advising against taking an unecessary cab ride. Thanks!

    4
« Good service and excellent location »

I stayed at this hotel only for one night. My morning flight was at 7am, so hotel shuttle bus at 5am was very handy. Takes max.5 minutes to get to the airport. Nice driver, guided me to correct terminal. I couldn't have breakfast at the hotel due to early morning hour, but hotel prepared small bag with water, apple and nutri grain bar. I recommend the hotel to everybody.

    4
« No wories, earplugs provided »

This hotel is right at the end of the runway and its very noisy. Perhaps getting a room in the back of the building would help, but in a room up front, using earplugs is not an option. The shuttle was great getting too and from airport, only about 5 min.

« A great place to stay when traveling in and out of LAS! »

I fly into McCarran at least once a year to visit a friend that lives in SW Utah. This year I had an early morning flight home, and did not want to have to get up extra early to drive 4 hours from Utah. So I decided to stay overnight in Vegas. I chose this hotel because it had a free shuttle and I needed to drop off my rental car at the airport. Taxis are so outrageous in Vegas and just not worth the price!! I could not care less about being on the strip and gambling as I've been there so many times in the past, this hotel was perfect ! When I dropped off my rental car I called the hotel and they told me where to meet my shuttle. Ricardo picked me up and he was an absolute gentleman!! The hotel itself looks like it is being remodeled as there was painting going on when I arrived. My room was obviously freshly painted and redecorated. I had a king size bed, a microwave and a mini refrigerator. Yes this hotel is directly below the flight path of the airport however it's not that bad. They even give you earplugs to help you sleep and I didn't hear a thing when I went to bed!! The room was very comfortable and you also get a free breakfast which included waffles, eggs, sausage etc. Everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely stay here again- it was a great value!!

    « Great value , comfortable, accessable , quiet »

We were furnished with a nice large room with extra seating and easy accessible for two retired seniors. Will certainly plan to stay again when in Las Vegas. The staff and the breakfast was great. Easy to get to the freeway without congestion.

« Basic and adequate budget hotel »

Older hotel with very personable staff and clean spacious rooms. Beds and bedding were ok. The airport flight pattern takeoff goes right over the hotel, so earplugs are a must. Nothing real fancy, but very adequate place to stay. Had to leave before 6 am and unable to experience the breakfast, but they did have a pre-breakfast bag for us to take.

« Shuttle for people just parking »

Apparently only goes to terminal 1. Shuttle driver doesn't know the different airlines in each terminal. Was late for flight, missed it. I work at a best be stern, and that service is not what best western is about. Very unhappy with the service. I don't doubt the hotel is nice, but don't use the shuttle service they have.

    4
« Clean, and Very Friendly and Helpful Staff »

Located right next to the airport, so if the sounds of landings and take-offs bother you, you should reconsider. However, the rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful! The free hot breakfast was decent, and free internet was fast (except that they block VPN access so that I could not tie into my office.) I got this hotel on a name your price website, and so the discount for the room was very heavy!

    « Good for a budget stay »

This Inn is near the airport. Earplugs were provided with the room but, although we could hear the planes overhead, we had the air conditioner on and we weren't bothered. Has pool, exercise room, small business center and breakfast. The breakfast was big but low budget quality. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Would recommend for a budget stay.

    « Another Excellent Stay »

My last stay at the Best Western McCarran did not go so well. I had a very noisy room, as well as some other issues. I expressed my concerns when I arrived, and I was immediately given the best service above and beyond. The front desk crew was terrific, and managed to get me a GREAT room. The breakfast is always great. It may not have the most choices as some of the competitors, but the quality is always good, and there always seems to be enough food. Thanks again to the Best Western McCarran Inn for another great stay. I will be back.

    4
« Good close to airport »

Nice room! Noise from airport wasnt that bad. Very close to airport. Shame there was no shuttle service during the night. The hotel did provide a snack, fruit & water when we left in the middle of the night.

    5
    « great hotel »

excellent place to stay and leave your car for the week price was great breakfast was excellent. the check was easy and the staff at the front desk did a great job. the shuttle driver was great and very helpful. thank you

    5
    « Excellent clean »

Even though it was for a short time period we really enjoyed, easy parking family pool, close to airport including shuttle service, breakfast in the morning definitely a resonable price. For sure.we will come back! Thanks again!

« best in LV - Near the Airport »

Close to the Airport. Convenient. Easiest access to Taxis. Very close to the Strip. Very close to the Hard Rock Café and other Fine Restaurants. Clean Rooms. Free Breakfast- Fresh Waffles, Blueberry and Regular.

« Great breakfast and value »

We stayed there for 6 nights and found it to be a great value for the price we paid. Even though it was close to the airport, the noise level was actually quite low. Neither of us needed to use the complimentary ear plugs. The hot breakfast was great and there was enough variety to try different things each day. It was nice to be away from the smoke filled strip hotels when it was time for rest and relaxation, especially on days where we just wanted to travel off the strip.

    4
« Great hotel off the strip »

Price was reasonable. Free Breakfast was OK, helped keep total cost down. Short bus ride into strip. Bus pass is $5 a day, same bus pass that is $8 a day on the strip. Bus pass is good to go any where in city.

    4
« Great small hotel - good value for it's price »

The hotel is clean, Stuff very friendly, Actually, good food for breakfast, even comparing to other small hotels of this type. Only thing is that I had to use the ear plugs to reduce the noise from the airport at hight.

    5
« Very Satisfied with these accommodations!! »

I picked this hotel because it was close to the airport. This hotel was very clean. The staff were very helpful. and pleasant. I would never hesitate to stay here again. The price was very reasonable.

    4
    « Overnight »

Was impressed except for the fact I did not get my laptop to work. I did not report it as it was just an overnight stay o n our way to Utah.Breakfast room was very clean and had a good choice of food. I also had asked for handicapped room online but was not offered it when checking in,that was my fault as I had arrived late from trip and was very tired.

    4
« Nice for overnight stop »

We just stayed here on our way to another destination. The room was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast was really good. The only complaints I have are on cleanliness, the room was ok, but even the exterior of the room sometimes needs to be looked at. In the elevator the corners of the elevators were dirty and made me worry what the room I was going to have would be like. So maybe cleaning that would be nice.

    5
« Away from the hustle »

I chose the hotel for its location near the airport and the rental car return. We had been visiting family in California We stayed here for an early flight home. When we asked about a shuttle to the airport we were told to be in the lobby 15 minutes before our desired departure. Left right on time and was at the airport in minutes. Staff friendly and helpful.

    5
« Cannot fault in any way! »

We only stayed for one night before flying back home, but everything about this hotel was super. We arrived a little early before check in but the room was ready. Front desk staff was very friendly, front desk was decorated for Easter - nice touch, basket of mints; turn d around and there was tea, coffee and lovely citrus water in a cooler. A bowl of apples. Even though it is right beside the airport, it was soundproofed enough to be able to sleep. The pool was nice to relax around for the rest of the afternoon. The next morning we had to leave before they opened the breakfast, but there were grab and go breakfast bags ready for us on the front desk. An apple, granola bar and water. I managed to catch the gal preparing breakfast and she kindly provided us with a yogurt each as well. Shuttle to the airport quick and driver was a very nice fellow given it was 5:30 am - pretty chipper for that hour of the day! The only drawback is the distance from the Strip, but it's no biggie - we walked 30 min. to the Strip that night and caught a cab back. If you want a handy location to the airport, this is it!

    4
    « A great stay »

Had a great stay! The personal at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful, the rooms were clean and the staff very pleasant. If you can get over the plane taking off over the Inn (which was actually not that bad) I would recommend a stay here over the big resorts. A little off the strip but a 1,2or3 day Bus pass solves that too .

    4
    « Good quiet hotel »

The hotel staff was friendly. They have a courtesy shuttle that will take you to and from the airport. It comes every half an hour so plan accordingly. The first room I stayed in the lights didn't not work. The second room was great but they set the thermastat at 82 so it was really hot when I walked in. This is a great place to stay if you are using Vegas as a connection. It is quiet so that was nice. It isn't close to the strip so if you are looking for a place to walk out and go have fun, this would not be the place.

  • 4
    « Good Value »

Reasonable rate and good airport convenience.Desk was very accomodating and check in was handled efficiently. Would likely stay here again if i need an airport hotel for business or pleasure travel in days to come.

    4
« Great location for airport travel »

This hotel is not the glitzy Las Vegas, but it works for ease of getting to and from the airport. Ear plugs are furnished, but the airport noise is minimal late at night. Good rates. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

    4
« Great location, very clean »

We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and cozy the rooms were for the price. Very close to the airport and the shuttle was handy. Breakfast was great, lots of choices and it was well stocked. We would stay again for sure!

    4
« Clean rooms and nice staff »

Hotel super close to airport. Reasonable prices and rooms were very clean. Hotel clean, staff was very nice. We had a problem with the room but they took care of it promptly and no further problems. and breakfast was blah but did not expect much anyway. Free shuttle to airport.

    3
« Overnight for early trip »

Booked here due to low price and fact that we just needed place to sleep before early morning flight. Airport shuttle was great and efficient. Staff was friendly. Cons - room smelled of smoke. Took three different keys to finally get into room.

    4
    « Ears plugs furnished! »

Since the hotel is quite near to the airport, the staff gives complimentary ear plugs. I thought it was a great idea! Didn't use them. When I lost my keycard they furnished another, and asked if there was anything else that would improve my stay. I couldn't think of one thing! And that's what I told them. It was the best stay we have had, and we were even able to complete our work on time without interruptions. FANTASTIC!!!

    3
« Served a purpose but too close to airport. »

It wasn't a terrible stay...but I think one could find better and less noisy accommodations on the strip for similar type money. The breakfast wasn't terrible but again wasn't anything to write home about either.

    5
    « Excellent hotel »

I don't stay in Las Vegas often but when I do I try to stay here. The staff and service are superb and the hotel is well located. The place is spotlessly clean. You are always made to feel welcome and a valued guest, unlike so many other places today. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to business travelers or vacationers.

    5
    « Excellent Stay »

I was looking for a clean, no-nonsense place to stay for my conference at MGM. This was the perfect location at a great value. My room was super clean and the staff was very attentive if you ever have a problem or question. It is definitely one of the better BW's I've stayed at. The only thing you have to be aware of is that it is next to the airport so you will hear a lot of flights coming and going. I got used to it after 1-2 days. Plus, they provide earplugs so sleeping was never a problem for me. Overall, a really great stay!

    5
« Best value in Las Vegas »

Big rooms, professional staff, free breakfast and internet. The beds are comfortable, no hidden fees. You get more than you paid for here. The distance from the strip is negligible, and if you're using the airport, it's ideal. I will always use this hotel when it's available.

  • 5
« Best Western McCarren Inn »

Nice room. Looked like it had been recently updated. Very clean and comfortable. The pool was heated and very clean. The staff was great and very helpful. You can hear the planes from the airport but didn't bother us at all. Short ride to the airport and convenient location.

    4
« Ask for a room on the NE corner »

We have stayed here twice while flying out of Vegas. Our first time we had a room on the NE corner of the hotel and I don't remember hearing too many planes. This last time we were facing the airport and it was much noiser. Their shuttle to the airport is quick and they have a stay, park and fly package where you can leave your car. The breakfast is above average with waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels, etc. The staff is always friendly.

    5
« Great Place for Short Stays near Airport »

I have stayed at this property twice while attending an event at the Thomas and Mack Arena and have been very happy with the experiences. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the breakfast is decent, and the the free airport shuttle is a great convenience.

    5
    « Traveling Through »

My stay was just for one day however, the staff was very friendly and quite accommodating. They were helpful with sharing places I could take my 13 year old. I room was very spacious and clean. You could tell it has been around for years.

    5
« Above all else, a friendly staff! »

Had the pleasure of staying here with family twice on March 12 & 19 as we were transiting the area heading to the high desert of California. Close to McCarran airport, this is a clean, well managed operation that covers the basics very well. The greatest asset the McCarran Inn has is the staff. Exceedingly friendly and polite they epitomize what service should be. From the desk staff, courtesy van drivers, cleaning staff and breakfast staff each one made you feel like they were truly happy to see you. Above all other things that is the reason that I will always patronize the McCarran Inn while passing through Las Vegas.

    4
« Great when needing to be near the airport »

The hotel workers greeted me with kindness. The hotel had a fresh scent as I entered. The check-in was quick and precise. If you are needing to fly out of Vegas early in the morning, this is a great hotel to stay at.

    5
    « Experience »

Great Hotel - great rooms, beds and cleanliness! Staff is always so very pleasant and friendly! Well maintained property. Very clean and so very convenient to the Las Vegas Airport! Love this location!

    4
« Great and Affordable Airport Hotel »

Nice place. My room was nice, and was plenty big, but it was nothing special. I didn't expect a lot for $88, though. Best Westerns have achieved a great standard across the board, and I default to them when I have a tighter budget for a stay since they are usually quite affordable. I was very pleased with my stay here.

    4
    « Good sleep - lousy breakfast »

The hotel is clean, comfortable and offers everything you expect. And it's close to the airport. However, the breakfast... "If it's tea bring me coffee - if it's coffee bring me tea" sums it up nicely.

    5
« great place to stay by the airport »

this is the third time I have stayed here en route to the airport: it is quiet, comfortable The parking is next to the hotel: easy to transfer luggage to the room Breakfast was complimentary: waffles, eggs, cereal and the coffee good

  • 4
« Great location and value »

I chose this hotel for its close proximity to the Thomas & Mack Arena, where I attended the Mountain West basketball tournament. Overall I was pleased with the accommodations. The hotel's nearness to McCarran Airport was not really an issue, as the planes that went overhead nearby did not create any noticeable noise issues.

    3
« Overnight lodging for airport »

Not a bad place for a simple overnight stay before flying out. It is an easy drive to the airport. However, there was no hot water for a shower at 3am that morning. Not the way I wanted to start my day.

    2
    « Location/location »

Inconvenient location for anyone wanting to viosit the strip - eithe bus or taxi, latter v expensive. Lots of noise from airplanes taking off.Room, staff, food all OK, Good location if all you want to do is attend event at Thomas and Mack.

    3
    « Quick »

Quick stop as we headed out for trip. Hotel parking great, lobby all decorated for Easter, booking easy w 1800 number and the staff for that was great. Room ok, bed was great. Bible in night stand. Food ok for breakfast, not enough room for crowd. Area was confused as food items all over since space was small. Planes didn't bother at all. Ear plugs were nice touch

    4
    « Happy Customer »

Our room was very clean!!!! Comfy and cozy...was happy you supplied ear plugs (not because it was noisy but because I use them)! Loved the shuttle to airport...the driver was so nice and pleasant. The breakfast choices were great and the seating area was perfect. The ladies were so helpful and very friendly as well. We would stay here again FOR SURE!!!!!

    3
    « Las Vegas airport »

Nice location, convenient shuttle to airport, no restaurants in walking distance. Pillows were hard and thick. Staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle great to and from airport. I would probably stay here again but would like a better price.

    4
    « Friendly Staff »

The staff was wonderful , the room was huge (Clean and didn't smell!) and breakfast was great! There was a huge selection of food. And we loved that there was always water and coffee available by the front desk. When we needed directions, the girl at the front counter did not just tell us where to go, she printed directions for us! Thanks for a wonderful 24 hour trip to Vegas! This was a trip for my son and we had a wonderful time. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

    2
    « Tolerable »

This hotel is close to the airport, and thus convenient. It was, however, noisy because of the AC, the ice machine, and the soda machine. The pillows were horrible - so large both my husband and I had neck and back pain. The breakfast was decent.

    5
« Excellent for the price »

Stayed one night on a layover between flights. It was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Close to airport - about 5 minutes away. If we had to stay in LV again we would definitely consider this hotel.

    4
    « small and clean »

great little hotel. staff was buzzing with service, new paint, rooms were nice, breakfast was nice. very close to the airport. very enjoyable. cab got us here in 5 minutes. checkin was a breeze. unfortunately the shuttle stopped running at 11pm.

« A great place to stop over for early McCarran flights »

The rooms are very clean and the night host was fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. I stayed just one night as I had a flight the next morning at 7:30 am. A complimentary continental breakfast was open buffet at 6:00 and I believe went to 10:00 am. Sausage was great! Eggs, toast, bagels, apples and oranges and juice and yogurt were offered. They offer ear plugs because of being so close tongue airport you can hear flights departing. It didn't bother me at all as the bed was big and comfortable. One of the big perks to this hotel is that you can actually park your car there! There is an extra fee and it is done from the computer in the lobby. Very easy and I knew they had security to watch over things. They give you a card with their phone number on it. When you land and get baggage you call them and they pick up and take you back to the hotel. I was gone for 8 days to Hawaii and I came back to a car in pristine condition and drove myself home. Easy as pie!

    4
    « Clean, comfortable. »

A nice place to stay away from the trip. Ask the hotel how to find the great Mexican cafe that is only about a block away, but hard to find - El Frescos Cosina Mexicana. The fish tacos were the best I have ever had - it is just a small, no frills, cafe, but the food is delicious!

    5
    « Great service »

I have stayed at least 4 times in this hotel and have found the staff so very friendly and accommodating, the hotel and the rooms clean and comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. There was no noise from adjoining rooms.

    4
« THE place to stay close to the airport »

Reserved a room to accommodate us, our kids and grandkids the night before they all flew home from Las Vegas after meeting us for a family vacation. We chose this hotel due to location and shuttle availability for our family's early morning flight. After a long day of travel and coming into Las Vegas during heavy traffic, the hotel was a welcome respite after the rigors of the day. The front desk clerk went out of his way to help us with shuttle arrangements so we could return a rental car with minimal stress and also made sure we had enough linens for a large family group. Should I ever need a place to stay in Las Vegas, the Best Western McCarran Inn will see me again!

    5
    « Good Stay »

Good Staff. If you like large pillows this is the place. Clean. We didn't like the fact that our request for a wake up call didn't happen. Luckily we didn't miss our early flight. This is the only problem we had.

    5
    « McCarran Best Western »

This is the most reasonable and convenient place to stay to catch an early AM flight. Very comfortable, and if you are bothered by plane noise, earplugs are provided. One downside is the lack of places to eat within walking distance.

    3
« Handy but noise a real problem »

After a two week visit to Nevada and Arizona we had a spare night before an early flight from Vegas. Chose the Best Western because it was handy to airport and drop off hire car depot. Reasonable hotel with helpful staff clean rooms, good bed ,great breakfast but hotel is within 200metres of the runway. No sound proofing and no double glazing. We had room 324 designed to amplify jet engine noise .Quitens down after 1am but starts up at 5am. Is a pity as otherwise it is a reasonable stay. Avoid room 324. This room has architecture and orientation that amplifies the noise.

    3
« One night was fine »

We stayed here on the way back from California. Just needed w comfortable, safe place to stay for the night with the kids. Best Western was that and best thing was the price. Breakfast was simple. There were choices. The room was basic, hotel a little dated. Staff members were nice to interact with and helped fix an issue we had upon arrival. Overall, I would stay there again. It's nothing too special.

    3
    « Good but noisy »

Was very satisfied with the inn overall, but the aircraft and traffic noise will lower the chances I would repeat our stay. The inn was clean and the room was nice and facilities adequate. Breakfast was above average and good quality. All the staff were pleasant to deal with. The aircraft noise was not easy to deal with. They provide earplugs, but would not do enough to adequately quite the noise. At least the flights ended at about 1130p and didn't start until 530a. Street noise was a factor as well. We were in a front facing room (311) not sure if other rooms would be better with the aircraft, but would probably help with the street noise. Nothing to eat within a mile walk except for a 7-11 next door.

    5
    « Best Western McCarran »

Friendly Staff, Good spacious Room, Convenient for airport, But there is Aircraft Noise, Mini bus to and from the Airport, Thirty five mins walk or short Taxi to the strip. Very good value, I would stop again

  • 4
« Very noisy from approaching planes »

When a hotel has packages of earplugs in each room as an amenity, it might be a clue the airport noise is loud. The earplugs were quite effective, however, and I slept just fine. The room was very clean and nice. The coffee in the lobby was excellent. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The van to/from the airport was clean and well maintained and the drivers were courteous. Our departure time was before the complimentary breakfast, so the hotel had "grab and go" bags on the front desk that contained an apple, breakfast bar and small bottle of water.

    5
« Best Las Vegas Park & Fly »

The rooms are nice, maybe a little small, but the friendly staff, well prepared-extensive item breakfast and prompt park & fly service are the best we ever had in Las Vegas. Easy to book on the Best Western website.

    5
    « best western »

good price, close to the airport with long term parking available. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this best western for travelers that are going by air and need a good place to stay overnight and to park their car while away.

    4
« Very nice and great value »

Great room and amenities for the price, we also stay last Sunday at the Palace Station and the room at BW much, much better. Service was very family oriented and very helpful. thanks to all!! God Bless

    « Perfect overnight accommodation! »

After three flights over about 24 hours it was with relief to find the friendly staff member of this hotel waiting for us at the airport and we were whisked off to the hotel. Arriving in the morning, another helpful staff member gave us the option of waiting only half an hour for both my friend and I to each have rooms ready, an offer we happily accepted and waited in the lobby area that itself was a nice setting. And that set up our overnight stay. I had a lovely ground level room with no noise (they leave out earplugs in case the airport noise bothers you) and a very comfy bed and clean room and bathroom. It was almost disappointing to have to leave so early the following morning, but again the shuttle was there to take us to the airport and we even got a packed breakfast because we were going before the included breakfast commenced. Definitely recommend this place. And a big thank you to everyone we encountered from this hotel.

    5
« step off to holiday »

Older Best Western but clean and close to the Airport. We were able to walk to Enterprise Car rentals which was within 2 blocks to rent a car that was considerably cheaper than renting at airport. We will do this again in next trip. We drove out the back of Enterpirse and easily got on the road to Laughlin and other parts. Came in from Canada via Minot ND (Allegiant Air) Do not count on a ride from Best Western if after 11:00pm as they do not run. You will need a taxi for 12.00 to get to hotel.

    4
    « Nice Hotel »

The hotel room and staff were great. The breakfast was good. The only negative is that it's so close to the airport you do get some noise from the planes flying out. I also liked the free shuttle from the airport.

    4
    « Last Min Booking »

Got stuck in Vegas longer than I expected. Hotel is located right next to the airport, literally! Ear plugs are provided because planes take off until at least 2AM. Had 1st floor room, conversations between the front desk and the ppl checking in would travel down the hallway.

    4
« Perfect overnight location close to airport »

Stayed overnight to use shuttle. Hotel is very stylishly decorated in modern and contemporary furnishings. Room, bedding and pillows had at fresh clean scent. Room was updated with modern furniture and decor. Bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was just ok. Timely shuttle to/from airport of about 10 minute drive. Noise from planes early in evening but they stop after 9pm and didn't have any issues of sleeping at all. It was quiet.

    5
    « Excellent staff »

The shuttle driver and front desk agent asked the cleaning staff if anyone had jumper cables to help me get my car started. Everyone was very personable, the location was very convenient, the room was very clean, and the breakfast spread was solid.

« great staff and location »

The convenience of being very close to the airport was important to us since we had an early morning flight. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the tv remote and maintenance was there within 3 minutes and solved the problem right away. ( Someone had stolen the batteries out if it!) There are no restaurants real close but there is a good order in option which we chose. The food was fine. We would definitely stay there again.

    4
    « nice hotel »

Just what we wanted all under one roof. It is close to the airport. With a good free shuttle. Quiet and clean room. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good price. There was lots of Free parking and easy access to the street.

    3
« The Hotel Supplies Earplugs »

If you can't sleep like a log, you're going to need the earplugs as the airport seems to operate 24 hours a day. They do switch runways every couple of hours, but the noise is bad, although my wife could sleep through it. Hotel is old but clean and the breakfast selection was okay but crowded seating.

    5
« Good location, easy access »

One day layover in Vegas, good location, you could walk to the Strip if you want. Ricky at the front desk was great. Arrived at 4, heavy traffic, so had to wait a bit for the shuttle, not their fault. Right at the airport entrance, so some plane noise of course, I did not find it overly bothersome, and they provide earplugs. Typical BW breakfast, everything was good. Great hot water and shower pressure!

    5
    « Perfect Family Hotel »

Our stay here was awesome for many reasons. For one, we are a family of five and this hotel had a enough beds to sleep all of us comfortably in one room. Another reason, this entire hotel is smoke free making it a breath of fresh air in Vegas. Third reason, hotel staff were caring, courtesy, friendly, and helpful. Fourth reason, the free breakfast was amazing having something for everyone, even my pickiest eater. Bonus reason, my kids were able to swim for two hours in the heated outdoor pool in January. We will definitely stay here again!

    4
« Quick trip to Airport »

I had to make a quick trip to drop a family member off at the airport for a late night flight. Not wanting to make a 3 hour drive back home, I made reservations at Best Western McCarran Inn. When I arrived at the Inn, I was immediately greeted by a friendly desk clerk. My room, as requested, was ready for may occupancy. I found the room clean and the beds comfortable.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean. Ear plugs are provided in case you are a light sleeper and find the noise from aircraft disturbing. We did not use the ear plugs and the sounds of aircraft did not disturb us. The price is very reasonable and great breakfasts are included with the stay. Coffee and apples are available all day. Nice to be off of the strip but close enough to get there easily. There is a convenient airport shuttle. There is plenty of on-site parking.

    « paid parking »

I found the hotel because of the Paid parking for our car. It was a great deal. I would use this property again. We were pleased with both hotel property and the parking service. Happy and friendly staff. great coffee

« Great Staff... lots of Airport noise »

I was in town while moving. The hotel was convenient to both downtown and Henderson. It is noisy... being at the end of the runways of McCarran Las Vegas Airport... but very close to the terminal, and walking distance to the strip... Staff was phenomenal... attentive and friendly...

« Best Western McCarran Inn, Las Vegas Stay »

We needed a hotel for the last night we were in Las Vegas/Grand Canyon Trip. We needed shuttle service to the hotel after dropping off our rental car & back to airport in the morning. The staff from the 1st phone call all the way to drop off at airport was amazing! They even packed us a light breakfast in a bag to take with us because our flight was leaving prior to breakfast being served at the hotel. Our check in person & the shuttle service driver went above & beyond to assist us with accomplishing all of these things in such a short stay. We were impressed with the service!

« IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR »

I've done the Vegas thing. Nowadays, I mostly travel alone for business and I don't gamble. For me, I want a clean hotel with good size rooms at a decent price. If I can get some sort of breakfast, all the better. This hotel fits the bill. If you want to experience Las Vegas and feel like a high-roller, this is not your best option.

« Jewel among the glitter »

This is a great hotel for a great price. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable and the room service was fantastic. For a reasonably priced hotel on the Vegas Strip, this is a great choice.

« Very quiet hotel at the entrance to the airport »

This hotel has very friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bedding, and great location close to everything but not on the main strip. Perfect place for a family or anyone who wants to get a good night's sleep.

« My stay in BWI MacCarran »

Had a very good experience. The staff was great. The hotel is not the most beautiful, but the attention I received more than made up for it. Good job guys. For the price, it was a great value. Thank you.

« ok but very very noisy »

This hotel is located next to the airport and is extremely noisy. I've stayed at hotels next to airports and I've never had a problem. They need to install triple pane windows. They even gave me ear plugs upon check-in. Terrible experience with noise all through the night.

    5
« This is an airport hotel »

The airport is close, so those that don't like noise it might be best to stay away. I have no issue with noise and actually opened the window. The staff were welcoming. The room was as expected. The beds a bit soft and pillows a bit hard. The toilet is too close to the wall and is hard to sit on and the paper holder was bumping my knee. But for the price it is worth it and a free breakfast. Not far from the strip but give yourself time to get to it at night.

« Overnight in Las Vegas »

Had an overnight stay in Las Vegas and wanted to save money from the casino rates. I am a Best Western member, so decided to try this hotel. Hard to get in and out of by auto. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The facility needs to be renovated.

« Cheap but too noisy »

You might expect that a hotel near an airport would be a little noisy. But this place was the worst I've experienced. They give you earplugs, which help, but the windows are sliding and single-pane and don't help much to cut noise. Even worse, across the street is a tour bus company that cleans their buses inside and out between midnight and 4 AM. The big diesel buses idle so the workers can turn on the lights inside to see what they're cleaning and they use a large and very loud pump mounted in a pick-up truck to pressure wash the outsides of the buses. The free breakfast was very basic, about as satisfying as combat rations. Only worth eating if there's no time or money for something better. On the favorable side, the shower was good, outlets plentiful, and the iron worked. There's no safe in the room, but there are a few safe deposit boxes at the front desk. If you use Lyft or Uber to head north, get picked up at the AM PM station next door to avoid going out of the way on Paradise, which is one-way southbound at the hotel.

« Hotel Stay In Vegas »

The staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel provided great value. Room was clean and provided all amenities I needed. If you need to stay near the Airport while visiting Las Vegas I would recommend this Hotel.

« Very Old propery, but clean »

This is a very well kept property. It was very old and has been around for a long time. I was surprised though to see fresh paint, clean carpet and newly furnished rooms. With all that said I was shocked with the price Ihad to pay,. I wanted something easy to get to the airport from and this is it, but the cost we make sure I find somewhere else next time,

    « Great staff »

good location, not far from Las Vegas Strip; very friendly and helpful staff; Hotel and rooms need renovation, very noisy until midnight and from 6 am in the morning due to the airport. Breakfast is ok.

« Close hotel to airport, so close you hear the airplanes »

When we pulled up into the parking lot a huge 747 just flew overhead about 500 feet in the air. When we check in we asked the clerk if they got very many complaint about the airplanes flying over. He said not really, he went on to mention that usually by 9pm, they start taking off in the different direction, t we still request a room towards the back of the hotel and on lower floor to try and drown out noise. When we got to the room, we notice something unusual with ear plugs on the the night stand "to help the guest with more sensitive hearing". We stayed two nights, the first night I noticed some planes flying overhead and yes is it was loud. The second night, I do not remember hearing any flying directly over. So I either got used to the noise or they changed their take off pattern.

    1
    « TERRIBLE »

This hotel should be shut down. It is old, dirty,ac does not work, and worst of all it is so noisy from the airport you have to wear ear plugs to try to sleep. Terrible place the breakfast was bad. I would never tell anyone stay here.

    5
    « Family Time »

We looked for a place to stay close to the airport because we were taking our daughter and grandchildren there. We took advantage of the airport shuttle because on granddaughter left before the others. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast selections. there was many selections to chose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even with the closeness to the airport, the noise of the planes taking off did not bother us. they supply earplugs for every room. We will certainly stay here again.

    3
« One day stay in Vegas »

Average experience again at McCarran Best Western. Front desk could not upgrade my room. Breakfast was very mediocre compared to my other Best Western stays. One day room rate on a Monday was $110 which was way to high. Clean room on third floor that was just ok.

    4
« Stop- over on our way to Canada »

Room was adequate with strong Wi-Fi, T.V and fridge etc. Great off strip location close to restaurants and airport for departures. Offers shuttles which are appreciated. Unfortunately there is continuous aircraft take-off noise, but the hotel offers ear plugs..All Good The continental breakfast was better than most.

    3
    « Overnight Stay »

No blankets on bed or in closet. Room cold to sleep. Noise in halls and from airplanes made for a bad night. Room clean and comfortable. Good parking facilities, and easy to find. Van to the airport was good.

    3
« Continuous Airplane Noise Until 10 pm »

The rooms are small, but clean. The staff is accommodating, especially in terms of getting rides to and from the airport, which is quite close. So close, in fact, that the noise of planes taking off and landing is almost continuous until late in the evening. The free breakfast is not available until 6:00 AM, so if you have an early flight, you will get a "grab & go" bag of an apple, some water, and a granola type bar.

    3
    « Close to Airport »

This Best Western Property is close to the airport and a good choice when flying out of Las Vegas to other places. It can be noisey when sleeping due airplanes landing and taking off throughout the night. This is an older hotel and could use some improvements such as better pillows and windows that have double or triple pane glass to insulate the rooms from the noise of the airport.

    1
    « Noisy...Dirty...Horrible Breakfast...Bad Customer Service. »

This was the worst experience. I don't usually write reviews or complain. However, this situation was different. First, our airplane was delayed so we called to notify them. They said, "no problem if you have a credit card on file, which you do, we will hold the room." When we got into the airport, we called them for the shuttle. Apparently, they stop shuttle service at 11 pm. With 3 kids all under the age of 8, we had to find a taxi. Then, we get to the hotel. It wasn't very clean and very noise. They gave us 2 pairs of ear plugs to help with the sound of the airplanes taking off all night. We needed 5 pairs. Then, they didn't give us enough towels. I used a hand towel to dry off my 4 year old. After I dried her off, I noticed that the towel was orange like someone's makeup was still on the towel. Yuck! If everything else wasn't enough, we went to breakfast for cold rubbery greasy food. It was horrible. The kids didn't want to eat it. Lastly, I called customer service to notify them of the issues. They were going to work on getting our next night cancelled since I refuse to stay there. The customer service didn't end up following up to anything. I'm very disappointed in quality and service. Save your money!!!

    « Great for a short layover »

Had a 7 hour layover and booked this place because it was close to the airport. Good shuttle service that left on time, clean room and clean bathroom. Helpful deskstaff, timely wakeup call, and even a take away breakfast. Would stay again.

    5
« Got stuck in Vegas they made it better »

Stuck in Vegas due to a Spirit Airlines Cancellation Spirit would not help. Booked here last second to avoid a night in the Airport . Great staff , great hotel neat and clean great breakfast and good value. If you need to stay near the Airport stay with them .

    1
« If you want to sleep, don't go there. »

Was referred, not sure why. Next to runway so planes taking off fly right over your room. Think you can sleep, even with ear plugs, Not. Shuttle didn't start early enough and stopped too early. Had to take taxi to and from airport, $10.00 each way. So I recommend staying somewhere quite and just take a taxi.

    3
« Not enough parking available »

I would not stay at this hotel again. There was no parking spaces available at any time. Breakfast area very small for the size of the hotel. Rooms are clean, there was no noise inside the rooms even the airport is very close to it.

    1
    « Rip Off »

I had to change my travel plans and cancel my reservation. I did so well over 24 hours in advance. I was informed that a cancellation required 48 hours. No where on my confirmation email did it state this. I was charged for the room even though I cancelled. I won't be using Best Western again

    5
    « Clean & Friendly »

Just outside the airport it has a great location , it was very clean and organized. The employees were friendly since I got there until We left . No wait at all , front desk took care of us immediately after we walked in. Right by a gas station if you may need something over night

    4
    « One night stop »

For a one night stop close to the airport this hotel is a good value. Friendly accommodating staff, (the shuttle driver stepped up & checked me in when the front desk clerk was helping others), great breakfast, clean, comfortable. It is by the airport so the noise should be expected. I had no problems with it.

    2
« Will not come back »

We stayed for one night in Las Vegas at the Best Western. It is not far from the Strip but not close enough to walk. The biggest problem is a lack of parking. We went out for dinner and when we got back there was no place to park. The room has two queen size bed and the space is small. There is a sickly sweet odor that seems like they are trying to cover something that smells. Overall the place was a disappointment and we'll not be coming back.

    5
    « McCarran Best Western »

Clean, convenient to the airport. A bit noisy form the air traffic, but there were earplugs placed in the room for this. We had to be at the airport quite early so we were provide with a to-go breakfast. Not a fancy place, but friendly and clean. I just wish there was a place to eat closer.

    4
    « Very very noisy »

I know this motel is practically around the corner form the airport, and that is the reason why we booked over there, but you would think that they have at least double glass windows, or some sort of noise reduction 'technology" to avoid the noise, but nope, the only aid the provide the guests with are ear plugs.... The taking off and landing of planes is constant, day and night, the only thing that helps is to turn on the AC/Heater unit, as it is so loud that it will over shadow the noise from the airport with its own noise, I found this actually helped to put you to sleep. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is quite good and the location is very practical and convenient, so these points would be the most important facts to probably make us book a room with them in the future. The front desk agents, (a different one each time I went there, and this was every morning, as we paid cash each day), are professional except for one of them, that welcomed me one morning with a big old yawn... oh well....... This property does not offer an outside elevator, so if you end up in the upper floors you will have to go in and out through the lobby. We were charged quite a bit less, through a third party company, than they were charging walk in guests, as I noticed while we were checking in ourselves, we paid almost half the price they were charging walk in guests, but I think this is normal procedure for all motels/hotels. We ended up staying longer than anticipated and they never had a problem with that, we could keep the same room with no issues. On the weekend, the parking lot runs out of spaces, and many cars were parked in double lines, or simply blocking the exit to other cars, but I guess they had everything under control at the front desk, as they take your car details when you check in. A practical place to stay in Vegas if you are not too intolerant to noise.

    « Sometimes good »

This is my 3rd stay at the property. Close proximity to the airport, so can be very loud depending on room location. Friendly staff but rooms are a bit outdated. Breakfast is more than adequate and the price is competitive if you book in advance.

« Despite a couple of hiccups, overall great stay. »

Free shuttle! However, the shuttle is not marked and the desk agt. did not provide a description so it had to make a 2nd trip back to the airport to get me! Despite proximity to airport, I was not bothered by any noise (although they did provide free earplugs!) Free hot breakfast!! (Eggs, sausage, made on-the-spot waffles, juice, milk, coffer, cereal, muffins, etc.!) Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Free wifi. Friendly staff. The morning I was checking out I bumped a shelf next to the bathroom sink with my elbow and it fell down - glad it did not land on my bare foot! Front desk said they would get it fixed.

« Excellent Airport Hotel w/ Free Breakfast! »

Hotel was very good for the price! Rooms were clean, beds were decent. We never heard any airplanes going over -- not sure if we were just too tired or what. The hotel did provide ear plugs if you wanted. The rooms had a microwave and a really decent sized refrigerator. There was a great breakfast in the morning that was free - muffins, pastries, eggs/sausage/biscuits & gravy, cereal, bagels, homemade waffles, etc. There was free wi-fi as well. The person who checked us in was really friendly & helpful. The only downside was that we got in really late after midnight and the airport shuttle only runs until 11pm. We didn't use the outdoor pool but it looked decent. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

    5
    « Excellent Motel!! »

Friendly staff, shuttle driver and crew. Shuttle on time and very close to the airport. !0 min from airport and 5 minutes from motel to airport. Very clean rooms! I'll always stay here. Breakfast was as described.

    « GREAT STAY »

I found myself in need of a last minute 3-night stay in Las Vegas with no transportation. I choose the Best Western McCarran Inn because it was the closest hotel to the airport and offered complimentary shuttle service. For such a reasonable room rate, I was pleasantly surprised with my room and the hotel amenities. Staff was outstanding! The only drawback was the 24-hour continuous noise of ascending and descending airplanes.

    4
« Super Helpful Airport Hotel »

The McCarran Inn is exactly what you would expect from an airport hotel: a decent place to stay while waiting for a flight. It is clean and reasonably priced, offers breakfast, fresh fruit and bottled water and a FREE shuttle to the airport. It excels in the attitude and professionalism of its employees like Ricky. He was most helpful in every way during my recent and is a credit to this hotel. I appreciated his level of professionalism and he is an outstanding representative of the hotel.

    2
    « Hearing Protection »

If you book this hotel expect high noise levels from the jets taking off from McCarran airport. They were non-stop about a minute apart. The desk even supplied earplugs? My fault that I overlooked the location when booking. On the good side it is located about a quarter mile from the strip.

    4
    « good value but .... »

Hotel is non-smoking and convenient. Room was comfortable and clean with fridge. Parking was terrible - we got boxed in by "Park&Fly" vehicles. Planes were loud but not irritating and did not disrupt sleep. Breakfast was the usual mediocre set up - go elsewhere.

    2
    « Disappointing, Parking Nightmare! »

We stayed here two nights one week apart on our way travelling to and from California. We have stayed in many Best Western's and have always had a positive experience, so we pre-paid for our rooms to take advantage of a slightly lower rate. PROS: Front desk people were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but clean. Good water pressure for the shower/toilet, and soft towels. CONS: 1. Inconsistent amenities. First room had a broken fridge and an electrical short in the table lamp (we reported to the staff so they could fix them). Our second room fridge was over-active and froze my medications. 2. Parking is a nightmare! We learned this hotel rents out its parking spots as short/long-term parking for the airport next door. There were literally no parking spots available when we arrived, and it was hard to even enter the motel parking lot from the street due to so many double and triple parked cars randomly scattered everywhere (including blocking fire hydrant areas and handicapped parking). The parking overflow is a dark street behind the hotel. The front desk apologized & admitted they had "oversold" the parking, and mentioned this is a recurring problem. 3. Mattresses are old and uncomfortable. 4. Noisy! This hotel is on the direct airport flight path and the walls are very thin. Complimentary ear plugs are located on the nightstand for a reason - But, don't count on them working. 5. The ?Complimentary hot breakfast" leaves much to be desired. Located in a tight galley-kitchen area [picture a walk-through closet] this creates a bottleneck of people stopping to create waffles, and there is very limited seating in the lobby. In summary: If you are looking for a hotel near the airport or simply need a place to crash for the night in-between flights, this hotel is a perfect location. Otherwise, this hotel does not live up to the quality and comfort one can usually rely on with Best Western. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from in Vegas. Our price was not even discounted enough to warrant the lack of comfort. We will not be staying here again.

    4
« Close to strip, free breakfest and clean »

Only one street away from Las Vegas Blvd. Breakfast was good with many options. Room was clean and had microwave and fridge. Only bad I could see people having is the airplane noise and the cable is messed up. But I wasn't there to sleep all day nor watch TV so they didn't bother me. I enjoyed by brief stay.

« Good stageing ground for catching a flight »

Nice rooms for the money; friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was so-so. Neighborhood has lots of traffic and businesses. I would recommend it if your primary purpose is to stay near the airport. Their shuttle was reliable and comfortable.

    « November Trip »

The hotel was very nice, the shuttle was on time at night and in the morning. Very close to the airport which was convenient. The breakfast was good, they had lots of options for food. Also the hotel staff was helpful and nice.

    « Good Hotel »

This hotel is a bit off of the strip, but it is easily walkable. Also if you get tired of the strip atmosphere, this is a step away from the people noise. The airplanes never bothered us, but if you're machinery noise sensitive, you may want to rethink this one.

« second time we stayed there and we will be back »

The Airport is not that Bad , This was the second time we stayed here and we came back to spend two nights. Close Enough to the strip if you are interested in the strip Nice place to stay. I used my Best Western Points to stay there so the price was right easy to get into but sometimes a challenge to get out Highly Recommend place to stay Breakfast Waffles are worth the price of admission would stay again

« Standard Best Western, Good service »

Stayed here on points on a quick trip to Vegas. Hotel is very near the airport and is right under a flight path so if you are light sleeper this may be an issue. Rooms are standard Best Western as you would expect. Front desk staff were very good, encouraged us to use UBER, not taxis, and gave good advice generally. Check in and check out were fast and efficient. You can walk to the Strip here if you want but its a bit of a hike and you may meet some homeless folks on the way. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a Best Western. Well stocked, clean and good food. Well done. Minor issues - pillows were very thick and hard, there was no window blind, only a shutter so more light came in than should have, walls a bit thin so noisy children etc. next door is an issue. Over all a pretty good stay.

« My stay in Vegas »

Met friends in Vegas and needed a good clean hotel that is centrally located. Thid Best Western did a great job. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and express check out was a breeze.

    3
    « good airport location, that's it »

Needed an airport-friendly hotel, as I was flying out in the morning. This was certainly close, and I had no problems with the free shuttle service (I know others have had problems). Took less than 5 mins to get to Terminal 1 from the hotel. It is a standard Best Western, hallway was a bit musty but my room seemed clean. Front desk woman very friendly and helpful. Initially I had a room on the 1st floor right off the main lobby -- when I asked if I could change, she didn't hesitate and moved me to the 3rd floor. As others have mentioned, you absolutely hear the planes taking off and landing. But the hotel gives free earplugs. And I turned on the HVAC system, which helped to dull the noise. The location is not great if you don't have a car. While The Strip looks to be just a few blocks away, a taxi will cost $20. Apparently the Hard Rock Hotel is a 10 min walk, but I can't imagine it's safe to walk there -- especially at night. There are several area restaurants that will deliver to the hotel, with a $15 minimum order. I wound up doing that for dinner -- ordered from a Thai place, it was OK nothing special. Free wifi, worked well. I booked a room through TripAdvisor/Get A Room, got a great price ($115). So really can't complain. I think the rooms are normally closer to $150-180. Which I think is outrageous for a Best Western, but that's Vegas baby!

« Great Hotel for Park and Fly »

We have stayed at this hotel many times when traveling out of Las Vegas. The hotel while older, has been fixed up and is comfortable. The staff are professional, the beds are comfortable and the transportation to the airport is efficient and fast. We encountered a small problem when staying at the hotel this time. The in room smoke detector decided to start chirping at 3 am. We had a 4 am wake up call scheduled since we had an early morning flight to Miami. We did not call and report this to the front desk as we knew that the maintenance person would not be able to fix the problem before it was time for us to leave. Also, my wife would not have been very happy about having a maintenance person in our room while she was in bed. Needless to say, it was a very long day of travel due to our lack of sleep because of the smoke alarm situation. The front desk representative was very apologetic when we informed him of our room issue and deducted almost 30 dollars off of our bill. This is an excellent hotel and we will continue to stay and utilize their services for future travel needs when flying out of Las Vegas. We have stayed at this hotel many times and this is the first time we ever had a problem. Sometimes, stuff happens beyond anybody's control.

    5
« very convenient to airport »

We stayed here primarily as a place to park our car while we traveled abroad on vacation, and it was great to be able to drive to Las Vegas, leave the car, and then spend the night in the hotel on our return and drive home fresh the next morning. We'll be back.

« Good overnight option close to LAS »

Stayed here for one night between flights. On the whole, a hotel suited to the lower end of the hotel market but a very decent one at that. The rooms were comfortable, fairly modern and most importantly clean. The free breakfast was fairly basic but the usual edible standard you would expect in this class of hotel. All the staff were polite and friendly. Unfortunately I arrived too late for the free shuttle and had to get a taxi, but the shuttle the next day back to LAS was punctual and the driver polite/chatty.

    3
« OK for a night before an early flight. »

OK for the price for a night before an early flight. Shuttle is 5 mins to airport. But the place is showing it's age ... slight acrid chemical smell in the hallways; toilet seat wouldn't stay up; one of the light fixtures w/plug ins didn't work, (thought I charged my phone, had to start over on another light fixture. Television is limited channels. And of course planes and more planes taking off. (They do provide earplugs for sleep.)

    2
    « Good/Bad Location »

Great that it's SO close to the airport. But then again, everything on the strip really isn't that far. This is so close, in fact, that you can hear the planes taking off all day/night. The staff was very friendly and helpful (5 stars to them). The rooms were clean, but smelled as though they were trying to cover up something.

    4
« Great facility, but loud airplanes »

From the minute I walked in, I felt welcomed. Great decor and coffee available 24/7. :-) Room and bed were great and VERY clean. The ONLY drawback was the very loud planes. The location is right next to the airport and planes flew out until about 11 pm. Best Western provides earplugs in the room which was very helpful, and I found that I ended up sleeping quite well. I will stay here again.

    5
    « Nice Surprise! »

Last minute plans to fly out of Las Vegas. We were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations! Including the free shuttle to the airport and the bag to go for the early 5 am shuttle; consisting of an apple, small water and granola bar. Definitely glad they provided complimentary ear plugs being so close to the airport.

« This hotel is a definite pass »

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was noisy and had a terrible smell, breakfast was terrible, and to finish things off on a terrible note, we were over charged. When we complained, the front desk guy could have cared less.

    2
    « Needs an Overhaul »

The price was right, and close to airport, but this hotel needs some work. The room was adequate with clean bathroom, but it still had the odor of a 'smoking allowed' hotel. Very noisy with airport close. Maybe needs some new windows?

    « park and fly »

We stayed at the Best Western McCarran because it is right next to the airport and we wanted a safe park and fly location. We stayed one night and our flight left early the next morning. Everything went perfectly. The room was very comfortable and amazingly quiet, being next to the airport. Everything was very clean and nice. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport when we returned and took us right back to the hotel where our car was parked.

    3
    « A stopover hotel »

Being so close to the airport the noise of aircraft was inevitable, luckily the hotel provides earplugs. A prompt free courtesy shuttle is provided to/from the airport. Breakfast was okay, but a little sparse on selection, no bacon!! No view from room.

« Best Airport Shuttle Ever »

This is a great little hotel! Nice, clean, friendly staff, but best of all FREE COURTESY SHUTTLE!! We called the hotel for pick-up, and the girl at the front desk was so friendly. She even helped us navigate to the shuttle pick-up location, as we were quite lost in McCarran Airport. The ride to the hotel was about 10 or 15 minutes due to how the one-way streets are laid out. However, the return trip to McCarran Airport in the morning was LIGHTNING FAST. We're talking 3 minutes, with traffic. A+++

The location is off the strip but the price and amenities make it one of the best places to stay. Free breakfast, refrigerator in room, free shuttle to/from the airport, decent size room and friendly staff.

« Good quality motel, but very close to the airport »

The quality of the room and motel was fine,It was easy to get to the strip by car. The only reason I would hesitate to recommend the motel is the airplane noise from the airport. It wasn't bad at night but if one was sensitive to noise it could be a concern.

« Great Staff and close to airport »

Had excellent stay on our last night in Las Vegas. The staff is excellent as we had many questions regarding shuttle, returning our rental car etc. Appreciated all the helpful suggestions etc. Hotel is very close to airport with free shuttle and breakfast included. Overall excellent stay and great value. You will hear the airplanes, however they stop approx. 9pm. Ear plugs provided we didn't need them. We would stay again and recommend to others very convenient!!! I just want to thank Tracy? I believe the manager for all of your helpful tips.

This hotel met all of our needs. We were extremely pleased with the location, the hotel and the convenience it afforded us for all the places we visited near and far. The staff is the most accommodating

« An excellent choice for proximity to the airport »

We selected this hotel based on 4 factors: it had good reviews on the travel sites I prefer, it is very close (.3 miles) to the airport, it offered reasonable rates, and it offered a complimentary hotel shuttle. We (2 adults, 2 children (ages 10 & 6)) flew into Las Vegas as a jumping-off point for a road trip to explore National Parks in the southwest. Our flight, which was scheduled to land in Las Vegas at 9:30 p.m., was delayed, so we landed just before midnight. Unfortunately, the hotel's complimentary airport shuttle stops running at 11 p.m., so we had to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel at a cost of roughly $15. Our only objective for that day of our trip was to get safely to the hotel and get a good night's sleep, as our trip was to begin in earnest the next day. Although our stay was a brief one, we were very satisfied. The check-in and check-out process were smooth, and the room was clean and appeared well-kept. Early the next morning, I caught the complimentary shuttle to the airport to pick up our rental car, while the others in the family enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was the usual fare. We were also pleased to discover a well-kept AM-PM convenience store just north of the hotel that was an easy walk. We were able to pick up a few drinks and snacks there before heading east to the Grand Canyon.

    « Just OK »

Check in was easy, hotel was clean. Sink was outside the bathroom and there was very little counter space and no cabinet. We had a room near an exit door - the room door would not automatically close all the way and latch so you had to make sure to pull the handle and make sure it was secure when leaving. They had ear plugs for you but we didn't need them for the planes overhead (maybe if you were trying to sleep during the day you might need them but not at night). Being near an exit door, the guests were noiser than the planes were.

    « Inexpensive, nice, & clean »

The hotel is by the airport. They gave ear plugs, but it was still a nice hotel, clean & the staff was super friendly. They also have a airport shuttle, & continental breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.

    « Airport close »

Clean facilities, quiet rooms, courteous staff, close to airport. Reasonably priced. Breakfast included, or in our case, because we had to leave before breakfast was served, a "to-go" breakfast. It included a granola bar, an apple, yogurt & water. We would stay here again.

« booked because of free airport shuttle »

Like all Vegas hotels this one has been used and abused, but really was very clean. The shuttle quit running at 11PM. I booked this hotel because of the free shuttle but I got in after 11PM so had to take a taxi. Other than that I was very satisfiied with my stay.

We had a lot of problems with our key card until they made us another one. Each time it wouldn't work a staff member graciously helped us unlock our door. They had parking adjacent to the hotel. 20 people were checking in when we were, but they were very efficient in accommodating us. The breakfast are had a locked off kitchen area that they only o they had lemon water, apples and coffee & tea in the lobby.

« Crammed Breakfast Tube. Terrible looking rooms »

The breakfast area is kind of a 7 ft by 2 ft gallery where only 2-3 persons can enter at one point of time. Even though there wasn't too many guests in the breakfast area the breakfast kept running out and their staff failed to keep it up. I took juice 3 times and each and every time it was just plain water that I had to throw all the time. Coming to the rooms now, our room was supposed to be a suite but after entering it i noticed its a single hall, with absolutely no designing or style in place. It was a terrible looking room. The pillows were hard as rock and each of them was around 1 ft in thickness, so we kinda developed neck pain.

« Great Price! Great Room! »

Very Clean!!! I felt safe staying there. It was just myself and my two young grandchildren.....but I felt secure. Staff went out of their way to accommodate needs. Great breakfast choices. Shower/Bath water was hot! Yeah!

    « Vegas Business Trip »

not much to say except that Las Vegas is ripping people off by not allowing the cashing of checks and charging 30% to debit your own money! The staff could have been a lot more friendly addressing need for cash to pay taxis and tip!

    « Great alternative to a casino »

Close to the airport, friendly shuttle driver and hotel staff, good breakfast including eggs, nice facility close to the action. Just wish there was a free shuttle to the strip. Would definitely stay there again.

    « Excellent Economical Option »

My husband and I make frequent trips to Vegas to visit family so our goals may be different from typical LV travelers. We do not want to be on the strip nor want to pay outrageous resort fees. We were pleasantly surprised by the property over the course of our week-long trip. From the friendliness of the staff to the responsiveness of single elevator, Best Western McCarran exceeded our expectations. We had the king bed in a comfortably sized room. When we added the portable crib (supplied by hotel at no cost) for our newborn granddaughter, the room was still comfortable. The refrig was sufficient to accommodate leftovers and fixings for the meals we chose to eat on site. We were concerned about the breakfast 'hallway' but the area was NEVER crowded or uncomfortable to access the food. The breakfast components were standard fare--cereals, yogurt, made-to-order waffles, and canned tropical fruit--complimented with sausage gravy, biscuits, sausage patties, and eggs. The breakfast staff were especially efficient and friendly. Parking was convenient and the lot was clean. There is an airport shuttle that runs on a 30-minute schedule. Our main concern was the property's location adjacent to the airport. Yes, we heard planes during the day but the noise wasn't disturbing. We did NOT hear planes at night. And for the sensitive sleeper, the hotel does provide earplugs! We cannot say enough good things about the property. We will definitely return on future trips.

« ok for the money »

Front desk was very kind and helpful. I liked the hospitality and the break fast was nice. I think it is worth the money. One shot fall is the location it is not walk able to all the attractions. Have to have a car.

    « nice »

This hotel was nice, décor of room was nice, clean. Refrigerator, micro, internet. Bathroom was clean but could use some updating, laundry room could be bigger. Morning breakfast was ok, offer coffee all day and lemon water. Would stay here again.

    « One night stay »

We stayed for one short night before catching a plane. We had a good nights sleep, but didn't use all the amenities in the room. We made arrangements to leave our vehicle at the hotel while we were away. Well worth it. I'll use them again next time I fly.

« Great location near airport »

A great location to stay close to the airport - stayed at beginning and end of trip to visit the SW. Nice decor, friendly/helpful staff, good breakfast. While they provide ear plugs, had no problems w/plane noise. Plan to stay here on next trip to area.
