Best Western Glenview -Chicagoland Inn and Suites

When I checked in at the Best Western hotel in Glenview Illinois. Hari at the front desk could not find my reservation. When I showed him the email of the confirmation he was able to figure out the issue and get me checked in right away. I travel with work a lot and he's always so pleasant when I come to the Glenview location. He's extremely friendly and very patient.

From start to finish a great experience. Comfortable bed, clean room, amazing staff, quick repairs, well lit parking, beside a very good restaurant, çentral location in northern suburbs, great price. Only negative was poor Internet in rooms. Would definitely stay again.

After my connecting flight at O'Hare was canceled at about 10 pm, the airline provided several options for use of a hotel voucher, and I ended up at this Best Western that was under 30 minutes from the airport, with a free shuttle to/from the airport available (I didn't want to wait another 40 minutes at 11 pm so Uber'ed there but the shuttle was a reliable morning option back to the airport). The hotel is close to the highway, so traffic noise is possible depending on which side of the hotel you're on. Hotel room was clean, bedding was comfortable, and breakfast was included with the room (eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, etc.).

Somehow I missed in all the reviews that it was about 100 feet from the freeway (see pics - view from back door of hotel). We requested a room on the other side of freeway which we got. We were in a first floor suite that looked into the parking lot. First floor def felt crowded and darker - we had family on the 3rd floor and it felt nicer, brighter, cleaner there. Breakfast area was much too small and crowded, so much so that we opted out. Options typical- waffles eggs etc. Everyone that works there are lovely and helpful. It's just the little things that could have earned it more stars- our room needed a new paint job, a drawer was falling off in the kitchen, fridge wobbly and difficult to open. Bathroom small and oddly no fan which is needed with a family of four :-) Quiet at night which was surprising given the proximity to major road and freeway. Beds were comfortable.

I had a really great experience staying at the best western glenview and would definitely recommend it to others. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful, which made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. Everyone we interacted with throughout our stay was friendly and accommodating, and it really made a difference in the overall experience. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The beds were cozy and the room had plenty of space to relax after a long day. Everything felt fresh and organized, and housekeeping clearly does a great job keeping the rooms in good condition. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night, which made it easy to get a good night's sleep. The location is another big plus. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping centers, restaurants, and major roads, which made getting around the area very easy. Whether you're visiting Chicago downtown for shopping, business, or just passing through the Chicago area, the location makes it really convenient. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Staff members were attentive and always willing to help if we had questions or needed anything. It's clear they care about making sure guests have a positive stay. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay. Between the clean and comfortable rooms, great service, and convenient location, I would absolutely stay here again. It's a solid choice for anyone visiting the O'Hare/Chicago area, whether you're traveling with family, friends, or for work.

Hesh and the staff at Best Western Glenview could not have done more to make our stay there excellent. We parked there and left our car there while on vacation overseas. The car was safe, and Hesh took us to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Not only that, but he and the staff arranged for us to hang out in a conference room for a couple hours after we checked out and before we left for our O'Hare flight. Our flight arrived late due to a cancellation at Newark, but Hesh was there quickly, even at midnight, to pick us up and drive us back to the hotel. He's a friendly, hard-working young man and a definte asset to the hotel. I highly recommend Best Western Glenview, especially for Park and Fly.

Very clean rooms and quiet and well stocked breakfast staff has always been nice also very accommodating do not stay at one by airport it's completely different

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days before traveling to Europe. We planned to leave our car here for three weeks. The experience was great, there was several people at the front desk. that were extremely helpful, Sammy, Harry and others. Rooms were very clean and the service was outstanding. We travel quite often and I think our future plans that involve flying out of O'Hare in Chicago will always include staying at this hotel. I highly recommend it.

First time staying at this Best Western - which was newly renovated and reasonably priced. Close to O'Hara Airport and with 45 minutes of Wrigley, our three night stay was all we could ask for and more. However, Maria our morning breakfast manager was amazing. As the only staff member each morning, she handled the dining area better than most well-staffed restaurants. Food was tasty, well-stocked and the counters and table were kept clean for the 2 12 hour serving sessions each of time we entered (7:45 am, 8:30 am and 6:30 am respectively).

This stay was booked based on advertisement of a heated pool for the kids to enjoy during our stay as it was a trip for them. Upon arrival, I learned that not only was the pool not open, but had been closed for around a month. When requesting to speak to a Manager, none were available and I was told that they would contact me to review my complaint and try to address the issue-as of two days later-still no phone call- horrible follow up. Normally have no problems at best western, but this place was very disappointing. Staff that seem to want to get the money only and don't care about customer service. Very rude!!

Ok for eleven hours. We checked in at 10 pm at this hotel since we were visiting family 10 minutes away early the next morning. The bathroom was tiny and there was nowhere to put your toiletries bag. But the real problem was that there was absolutely no soap in the sink area or in the shower. Clearly the cleaning people didn't check while cleaning the room. Perhaps one container might be empty. But both? Though the thermostat read 66 degrees the room got hot at night. Beds ok. Covers too heavy. We won't have the need for this hotel again. If you are stranded at O'Hare, and that situation seems like much of the business, it's an ok place to stay overnight.

We got a voucher for this hotel from United after we missed a connecting flight at O'Hare and are so happy we did. The hotel looks totally new, the rooms are very comfy and modern and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. When we arrived via their shuttle to check in around 9:30 pm, tired and hungry, the reception person had menus for a place that did late food delivery all ready for us. There are several other restaurants within walking distance. Basic usual motel breakfast was included with good coffee.

This was a very nice hotel. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. For breakfast they had waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt with lots of toppings, fresh fruit, breads and muffins. Also juices and hot beverages. We would definitely go back, and for the price it was great.

Well kept rooms and very clean !!! Sammy the manager is very welcoming and friendly!!! Breakfast is free and well prepared!!! Will go back again have no problem with parking ! Sammy also took care of amenities like champagne when he found it it was a special occasion ( our anniversary) Where do you get service like that !!! Ronald Stingley

I was sent here (20 min shuttle ride) by the airline after their delays caused me to miss a connecting flight (looking at you American), not have my luggage available and hosed my entire return trip to meet my awaiting family at my final destination. 17 disgruntled fellow passengers were queued up awaiting to be issued room keys at 11 p.m. and I just tried to search out food but everything in the adjacent area was closed. My turn and was issued a key but I informed the staff I was premium member and was upgraded to a very nice suite. After getting into the room, I attempted to call the front desk to inquire about the morning shuttle (0500 departure) and a complementary tooth-brush & toothpaste (remember AA kept our luggage) but the phone line was dead. Went to the desk, reported the busted phone and was informed the shuttle ONLY departs at 0400 but here's the numbers to several cabs in the area and I can 'purchase' a tooth-brush & toothpaste at the handy-dandy kiosk where the snacks are located...I took a look for the heck of it but there were no oral care items there (1215 a.m. now) I reported the bare space and it must have been the look I gave him as the clerk immediately, reached under the counter and produced...a tooth-brush & toothpaste... Went back to room, called for a 3 a.m. cab pickup (TSA checkpoints at ORD airport only open at 4 a.m. for the cattle crush) and dozed for two hours before heading to the lobby to await the cab only to find an almost empty coffee pot...the clerk (same dude) says he'll start brewing a replacement right away! Poured the cold coffee into the sink drain and walked out and into my cab to head to the airport. Not a bad room but everything else was wanting.

I would never stay there again. I asked the front desk clerk twice (once by phone before reservation and again in person upon arrival) how much the airport shuttle service would cost. Each time I was told "$30". My post-trip credit card statement showed I was instead charged $135 for said service. When I called the hotel to complain, I was told by the same clerk that "it was $30 EACH way to airport and another $105 for 7 nights parking". They never showed me anything in their advertising or check-in paperwork that indicated it would cost more than the verbal $30. Also, the room and bathroom were the tiniest I've ever seen and the thermostat didn't work. When I called to complain about the additional unannounced charges on my credit card, I was told "I will have to talk to the manager and call you back. NEVER CALLED BACK!

I recommend this hotel, after staying there for two nights. Excellent hotel staff, very respectful and helpful. The rooms are very clean and AC works well. Good water pressure in the shower. The location worked for me. Spacious parking lot.

I had a layover with 31 travelers (students and parents) with an early flight the next morning. This hotel was very helpful and efficient. They picked us all up and had our room keys ready upon arrival. They gave us advice on how to use our food vouchers to order food for the group (it was very late). They were ready at 4:00 am in the morning with both vans to take us back to the airport. The employees were kind and accommodating. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable.

We stayed for a couple of nights in a west-facing room with 2 queen beds. The hotel has undergone very extensive remodeling since our last stay in 2023 and has been updated in many ways - new carpet, wallpaper, beds, televisions, electronics, refrigerators, towels, washcloths, furniture, etc. The hotel is next to a nice restaurant and is close to a number of shopping areas. Because we were there on business, we were not able to check out the fitness center or take advantage of breakfast. If we are there in business next year, we plan to stay here again.

Easy check in, clean hotel room, comfortable bed… great stay. Breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs, sausage, instant oatmeal, yogurt with toppings, waffles, bananas, juice, delicious coffee. Close to Chicago Botanic Gardens. Will stay again.

We partook of the Park and Fly offer from this hotel. Some of the reviews had us wondering if this was the place but we went for it anyway! So glad we did. We had an early flight and had to leave our car for 17 days and stay when we got back. The shuttle driver was kind and was on time and he got us to the airport in plenty of time. We were away for 16 nights and the car was in very good shape when we got back. The rooms are clean and comfortable the breakfast was very good for a hotel in this price range and the staff is very helpful and kind from the front desk person, the shuttle driver and to the breakfast attendant.

Booked here by American Airlines after a flight was cancelled via a hotel voucher. The description of the hotel was 100% a lie. The hotel is creepy and appears to be abandoned and under construction, and the rooms are extremely noisy. I was also told that there's no shuttle to the airport after 11am, even though they say they have shuttle service anytime between 4am - 1am everyday. Front desk staff was also rude and unhelpful when I described the awful predicament I was in and why I needed to use wireless for a couple of important meetings before heading back to the airport. Horrible customer experience. This place is clearly run by people who haven't had that lightbulb moment where they realize that good customer service means an opportunity for repeat guests and repeat revenue. Would never come back here unless it was my only last ditch option.

Avoid odd numbered rooms 329 to 353. Same level to a busy highway. Very noisy! Also, this hotel appeared to be independently owned, now the street sign says Best Western, not sure how this will change.

Half the rooms face the 294 freeway. The windows are not soundproof. Trucks are driving by literally all night. No one slept. If I could give zero stars I would. I am adding at the photo below. I would estimate the freeway is about 200 feet away (maybe less).

Room 316. No bulb in desk lamp; sink does not drain. Have to turn off faucet and wait : shower did not get hot; noisy a/c. Desk agent was friendly and when requested gave me a toothbrush and shower cap. Clean bed!

Every single morning I was woken up to continuous loud banging in the hotel and outside in the parking lot. Even at night before i would go to bed i would hear this. I called the front desk to complain and I was told they are remodeling. If i would have know this before i booked i wouldn't have stayed here. I would've stayed at another hotel where i was able to get some sleep and actually enjoy my stay. It would have been nice if the website let customers know this could be an issue.
