Best Western Plus
Our family of 5 (including a baby) stayed there one night since we had an early flight to catch at Florence airport. We booked 2 rooms, and when we got there after a 3 hour drive from Rome, there was no parking available. The main two reasons we booked this hotel was because it offered free parking and it was near the airport. My husband had to park the car near the bushes by the entrance, not a parking space. It is misleading that the hotel advertises that they offer parking when they have limited parking spaces. The rooms are sparkling clean, good bedding and comfortable beds, bathroom was also very clean. We suggest to confirm ahead parking availability especially when traveling with kids after a long drive.
Great bed and furnishing at affordable cost. The hotel is not near the city center but is on the T2 tram line to the Airport and 7 - 8 minutes walk from the nearest tram station. Great breakfast options.
Big, comfortable and clean room. Delicious breakfast. And polite staff. Not so near to city but transport tickets available through Hotel's reception. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Florence.
Overall everything are good and nice. Nothing much to comments. The staff are good and friendly. The service, facilities and breakfast are to the standard which is okay in the requirements and standard.
The hotel is a little outside of Firence, but is close to the tram that takes you into the city. The rooms are large and clean, some also have a balcony. We were lucky to get a room with a large balcony with a view. The staff was very helpful and service minded. They made the stay great. The breakfast is also very good, with a nice buffet. The hotel also has a parking facilities.
I don't know what to say really. I see a lot of good to great reviews from other people for this place, so maybe I just caught them on an off night. Upon arrival it's a little unclear as to where you are supposed to park, the hotel is sharing a building with other businesses. I drove around the side and all the parking was taken along the wall but straight ahead is a secured lot with a gate. So I pulled in there not knowing till the following day, that lot I'd for a private apartment residence, I had no way of getting out because I didn't have a code or clicker. So I sat there till a resident was leaving then followed him out the gate... no signs, no warnings, show up with a vehicle at your own risk I guess. I will say it is really annoying that most of Europe shuts off climate controls to hotels after a certain date. I'm pretty sure it's purely based on the calendar and not what it's doing outside, but the room had to be near 80 degrees F, could not use the AC and even though it was second week in December, I opened the door to the balcony to get some cooler air movement, only to be swatting mosquitoes buzzing around my head till 5am...very annoying. The balcony was larger than the room and bathroom combined which I don't think I've ever seen before, I could have used more than 22” to get around the foot of the bed to use the desk, so might want to book a smaller bed.
We returned to Florence a day and a half prior to our departure and needed a place near the airport for our last two night. The CHC Florence filled the bill. The room was adequate for our needs in this situation. It was a fairly easy 10 minute walk to the T2 tram to get to the heart of Florence to enjoy the city during our final day there. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport. The desk clerk arranged for our 4am taxi, and we were able to take advantage of the breakfast option and take food with us to the airport.
Absolutely garbage showering facilities. Food was average, and some unknown person let off a fire extinguisher in the middle of the night. Because we were part of a young adult tour group, they assumed that we were the perpetrators and would not let us leave until the fine was paid. Room didn't even get serviced for the 2 nights we stayed there.
Stayed there on our last night in Florence. The staff helped to arrange the taxi on the morning that we left. Within 3 minutes it was there and ten minutes later we were at the airport. We did not have breakfast before we left, that was an option available to us.
Very nice hotel, good staff expecially Sara. Breakfast is excellent also location of Hotel. Easy to reach in center with tram and easy to leave hotel with car and go to visit Pisa,Luca, Siena..... We have wonderful family time.
Got a taxi from the train station as we arrived in Florence from Bologna. It cost almost €20 so we were a bit concerned about the location being so far from the city centre. However, the next day we got the tram into Florence, which was both easy and affordable - buying tickets from the hotel's front desk was really handy. The breakfast buffet offered a bit of everything and the bed was really comfortable.
Entrance to the wheelchair accessible room booked long in advance was blocked by a large piece of furniture. Staff was able to move it so access was possible but still very tight. Only access to the bed was a corner of the foot. The room smelled like a sewer and the carpet was soaking wet. I would have requested a room change but needed wheelchair access. Very glad only one night in transit to Venice. The staff was prompt and polite but I did not appreciate the response that it was "accessible by Italian standards" because only a child could use a narrower wheelchair than me; and that it smelled like sewer because it was raining!
We chose this hotel based on name recognition not knowing where it was located in Florence. It is on the outskirts closer to the airport, but has very easy accessibility to the tram into city center. It was a good hotel stay at a fair rate.
My friends and I arrived in Florence at midnight and had nowhere to stay. A quick look through Booking.com showed that this hotel had the best value for money. Booking was done in just a few minutes, the rates were great, it was near the airport, quick to get to and we received a very warm welcome. The room was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. The WiFi was strong and we had a great night sleep. The breakfast buffet was everything we could wish for. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a quick stopover at Florence.
We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the car rental return and to the airport, a short 15 minute cab ride away with an early morning flight. We have always had terrific experiences with Best Western Plus in Europe. This one wasn't quite up to our previous experiences. We stayed on the 6th floor, a room like most large city Italian hotel rooms, a bit on the small side. On arrival, we found only one bath towel so we called the front desk to see if we were in the right size room! We were and they quickly brought another bath towel up to our room (we later found a package of towels in the top of the closet). Our room had a slight odor of sewer in the hallway but the room was fine. The only window, in the bathroom, would not close all the way so some traffic noise was heard from below. Breakfast was not included in our room rate but we were able to eat there and pay an additional 10 Euros. Great selection. With many appearing to have early morning flights, the dining room and food gathering was a bit congested. The staff had a difficult time keeping scrambled eggs stocked but the self-serve cappuccino/espresso/coffee machine was great! We found a nice lounge that was larger than our room on the second floor for relaxing after a long day of driving. Reception on arrival and departure was helpful and friendly. They even assisted with dinner recommendations and calling a taxi in the morning. All things considered it was an adequate place for a stay near the airport!
Best Western Florence is conveniently located within a 5 minute drive to the airport, perfect for our early flight. The hotel was clean and comfortable - a great nights sleep! Shops and restaurants are located within a short walk. We also caught the tram to the centre of Florence. I highly recommend if you have an early flight out but still want to enjoy a day exploring Florence.
This hotel is a great value. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very wonderful and always helpful and courteous. We arrived early and they let us store our luggage and even offered us a breakfast before our stay officially started. Again they go above and beyond.
Like many European hotels where I've stayed, the room seems distinctly small. However, it is well laid out and the bathroom comes with a tub, welcome after a day of walking through Florence. The bed is very comfortable and the front desk was attentive. Room service seemed a bit hit or miss, but I'd recommend this hotel as it is close to both the airport and has good local bus connections to the city center. The only downside is the restaurant. The service was execrable. After a long day, we came in and asked for a dessert menu. They brought us some sort of cake. At another time, we waited for more than 20 minutes for a menu… at a time when the restaurant was largely empty. Oh, they also have a parking lot with a gate beside the building. It's not very secure but it better than parking on the street. My advice: stay there; eat elsewhere.
It was my first time in this hotel and out of my surprise it was very good hotel overall cleanliness...very good breakfast...keep up the good job!! Hoping to come back again in this beautiful hotel again in Florence!
Close to the airport. Noisy because there was a concert nearby. Clean and well decorated room. Breakfast not included to my surprise. Good dinner options in the restaurant. Could not adjust the air conditioning to a good temperature for sleeping. Overall would reccomend.
The service staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The actual room was quite cramped and dated - it felt incredibly small and claustrophobic even when 1 occupant present. There were ants crawling around the room. Reception didn't seem to be particularly bothered though they offered to switch our room but there was no follow up on it hence nothing happened. I am sensitive to insect bites so I ended up with bites all over my face, chest and arms which marred the experience somewhat. The bed was comfortable though and in the sweltering heat of the Tuscan summer, the air conditioning system was simply fantastic.
The hotel is OK for one night. 800 meters for the tram station which is transfer to the citycenter. To be honest i dont know why is got Best western Plus name, i could not find any plus in the hotel. Any way for one night it was more then perfect. Its looks like in the near future they spend money and time to renovate the building, hope to keep this way for the future.
It was lovely to stay at the CHC Florence this summer. Our room was beautiful and impeccably set up. The amenities were just as advertised and the staff extremely helpful and effective. I would highly recommend!
Excellent service and staff! Very comfortable hotel 5 minutes from the airport with a very easy commute to downtown Florence. It was a little noisy as the room was located on a very busy street. It was exactly what we were looking for at a very good price.
Great service!!! Super clean premises!! Easy commute to center! Ask for a bedroom facing the back, street can be a little noisy. Breakfast and dinner very good. All employees very helpful and courteous. Very good!
We booked at Best Western Florence very quickly for our Visa, then I read the reviews!! I felt ill, couldn't cancel as we paid in full. I dreaded going there...well I shouldn't have (the reviews I read of it being in a Industrial area..so untrue and so unfair) what a lovely Hotel. All the staff was so professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel was 2 blocks from tram stop, that made it so convenient. The restaurant was very good. Our room was a nice size and very clean. I would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends.
Apparently this Best Western has a practice of turning off their AC at night to save money. We stayed there a few weeks ago during a heat wave, and the AC was turned off at night. Not only in our room, but in all of the rooms from what we could tell. We literally just layed on top of our beds in pools of sweat until morning and we could find anothe hotel to stay at. When we complained they said there was nothing they could do and acted like this was a regular occurence. We are so disappointed that the Best Western company would let this happen at any of their hotels.
We stayed here to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The room for a family of four was very cozy - just large enough for a queen, two twins, and a small table/desk (plus closet in foyer and bathroom), but everything was clean and in great condition. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful, and told us about the tram into the central city. (The tram was a very convenient and inexpensive way to leave the car at the hotel while venturing into town for a few hours.) Parking was free and behind the building. Didn't get to take advantage of breakfast because we left so early (but we did glimpse all the recently delivered baked goods in the lobby as we waited for a taxi at 4 am). Quick taxi to the airport for under 20€.
This hotel is a hidden gem, although approximately a 12-15 minute car/taxi ride from Florence's City Center. The staff's warmth and hospitality makes up for the short distance. The rooms are very comfortable and clean as well as well kept. But the charm and uniqueness of this hotel all comes from its personnel. The customer service and and the eagerness to assist and make travels feel safe and at ease surpasses that of any five star hotel. For example, upon our arrival the attendant was very welcoming and comforting. After checking in he provided my family with local meal options in the area as well put us at ease with different options of transportation and arranged transportation for us daily. The hotel also provides Brunch, an option at booking (or it may be added on upon arrival) that is exquisite. The Breakfast/Brunch has a wide variety of choices to meet everyone's needs. All these magnificent choices are surpassed by the attendant at Brunch, Tamara. Tamara was warm and helpful, she made sure to keep the buffet dishes well stocked with all of my family's favorite choices during our stay. On our 2nd to last day, she made finger sandwiches for my boys to make sure that they ate. But the icing on the cake was when I mentioned to Tamara how much I wished I could iron a few clothing items. Tamara went above and beyond her duties, she arranged for an attendant to bring an iron to me before I left the breakfast area within minutes. It is customer service like this and and true passion that makes establishments successful. I'm am very happy that we chose Best Western CHC during our stay in Florence. The essence of the personnel is what made my experience in Florence worth while. Thank you to the Fro t desk and a special thanks to Tamara for treating my family like royalty and helping us so much. This was a very easy place to stay, the room was good, we didn't want 2 beds but that was all they had. clean the usual items in place. The front desk staff was very helpful with a little problem we had. The location to the airport was good, we rented a car so didn't need transportation to the airport not sure if they offer it.
The front lobby had a pretty bad smell when we arrived. The entire hotel had no AC during our stay on a day when there was 40 degrees Celsius outside. Inside was probably even more hot. We couldn't sleep almost at all that night.

Dear Customer we are very sorry that his stay had this serious problem, unfortunately not because of the hotel, but due to this anomalous heat wave, which sent the central of the north of Florence into stress causing discomfort. in this area of florence there was a disruption of the electric company which did not supply enough electricity to satisfy the massive use of air conditioners in this area of the city. The electrical company has however proceeded to balance the tension now and the problem has been solved. Apologizing again for the disservice, which did not depend on us, we would be pleased to have our welcome back again to take advantage of all our services. with regard Giuseppe Guest satysfaction department
Booked room here due to early flight and nearness to the Florence Airport. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was modern, clean and comfortable. Entrance with car is a little confusing. Parking is a bit of a challenge but otherwise a nice stay. They have a nice breakfast room and lounge on floor 1. We didn't participate in the breakfast due to our early flight.
If you are a Vegetarian, you are left with with only Bread & butter in the breakfast, The Hotel Staff was Excellent in helping the customers in various activities. The Manager was very nice natured & speaks a little bit of Hindi as well , helped us in guiding the city & our local travel
We checked in for two nights at the hotel and the air conditioning didn't work for a single minute for the entire stay. With 41 degrees outside the hotel staff kept saying it is coming on in ten minutes but it never did. And when we booked it this was a special request to have proper air conditioning in the rooms. And they guaranteed that it worked. Will never stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone.
Hotel was easy to find and had parking which was included by the hotel. We got to our room and pleasantly surprised to see we had a giant deck attached that offered a great view of the surroundings. It's unfortunate we could not stay longer.
The hotel is good for a quick stay. It is located a little further outside of town than to my liking and rooms need some renovation. Not terrible, but definitely could use a good update. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
The first room's aircon is not cold and the other room is smelly. I told the receptionist but she said that I can't help you. When I said should I sleep with the hot room? She said nothing I can do. When I asked what you can do? She said nothing I can do. When I asked to talk to the manager or director, she said that I can not talk to them. After 3 times complaining she said that she will be check to my room in 30 minutes. But no show and when I call no one answer the phone. What a terrible service. I never imagine the best western hotel chain have a poor standart of quality both in room and services. It's a nightmare in Florence.
Very nice hotel for the price. Great place if you want to be on the outskirt of downtown, but still close. Staff was helpful. My only negative would be while they have parking it can still be an issue, but staff tried to help.
We had booked for 2 rooms with 2 double beds each. We got a tiny room with one bed that was eventually split into twin beds but were so close together they may as well have been one bed. The rooms were clean and the staff were nice, but we didn't get what we believe we booked. The bar was very disappointing as well. The best part was that it was very close to the airport for an early flight.
Very basic. Unfortunately it was a hassle, as we arrived after 9pm so there were no staff. We needed a code to enter the door which should have been from the booking.com email. It didn't work, so we spent a good while trying to get through to someone through an intercom phone. When we got in the room it was very warm so had to have the window open all night. No air con. The window opened up on to the bed. So whoever was on the window side and should get up on the night, found themselves banging their head on the window. When we came to have a shower, the towel looked as though it hadn't been touched for months. It had black spotting of mould on it. The room was the most basic of rooms I've ever stayed in. So for that reason it was over priced. Should have been more like a €35 a night room.
The hotel staff were polite and friendly. The hotel was very clean. The hotel is a bit further from the city. However, we did have access to public transportation - train. The train took us directly to the city. Overall, this hotel was a good choice!
The hotel is an older property that has been updated. The staff was VERY helpful and were quick to correct a misunderstanding with my reservation. I had reserved a room with 2 beds and was checked into a room with one bed and a leak in the bathroom. After a quick visit back to the desk I was upgraded to a suite that was perfect. The location of this property is not the greatest for sightseeing but is close to the airport. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again.
The staff was very nice and my room was clean but things kept going wrong. They had trouble pulling up my reservation but they were very nice and upgraded me to a larger room. Unfortunately only the heat worked and the room was overly warm. I went down for dinner and what I wanted to order wouldn't be available for a half hour. I ordered something else that came with seasoned potatoes. Found out that meant french fries. Not what I expected. Food was very tasty otherwise.
We stopped on the way home to France. Hotel is close to the highway. We arrived around 9pm so no parking was available, but the manager at reception was happy to give us her parking space. Much appreciated as our car was fully loaded. Room was quite large, with our bed and two more single beds (my wife, my son and I). Unfortunately room quite dirty as plenty of hair, also in the toilet. Hotel is old but recently renovated. Breakfast room quite large and modern, quality was on the average (bad coffee indeed). Personnel on the reception was kind, as well as on the breakfast room (just a bit noisy as the man was talking loudly to a guest as they were from the same region) The hotel has some areas of improvement. I think I will not return there. PS. Tassa di soggiorno (tax) was more than 14 Eur, one of the highest in Italy (OK, not depending to the hotel)
Excellent hotel value. The staff was great, particularly the lady at reception (Sara). Breakfast with everything you'd want. Excellent bed and room temperature. Would Definitely recommend it and will be back on my next trip to Florence.

We stayed 3 nights at this property and totally loved it. The location is great, easy access to the main sights and plenty of restaurants and bars in the are. Rooms are very good and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Recommended
We found a pair of strange men's shoes in our room that we stayed in for 2 days when we returned on our 2nd day. It is upsetting that we haven't recieved a logical explanation regarding the owner of this shoe.
Thankfully only had a two day stay. This was a last minute change by our tour company wasn't impressed. We had to climbe up a very narrow spiral staircase to our room thankfully they brought our cases up to us as no way would I have managed it. Felt like we were in the attic! The staff were helpful and the room clean breakfast was good not great. Good restaurants close by and close by to the magnificent Duomo and other attractions.
Stayed here for three nights, not a great place to bring your family. The hotel is in a bad part of town had an issue with window not closing properly, was shown another room by the mantenance man and the window was also broken in that room. Finally got shown a third room and the window did close properly. The hotel lacks care and attention well worth paying a bit more for a decent hotel elsewhere. Attitude from some reception staff very poor more customer service training required. Not sure if this hotel is a franchise under the best western badge but things need big improvement.
We got to the hotel after a horrible expirience in FAttorie saint pietro in san giminiano. We called the hotel and asked if we can come imiddiatlly. They were very kind and nice. We moved there for 2 nights. Hotel room is clean, warm, nice breakfast, very kind staff thay helped us alot. Thanks to them we had a good days in firenze. The hotel has a parking lot, its close to Autostrada and has bus stations near by to go to the city in 10 minots. Was perfect! Recomended!!!
I needed a last-minute option near the airport (my reservation to nearby Novotel fell through). First, this area of town is very industrial, and unraveled what I had earlier experienced in Florence proper. Second, this hotel is sandwiched in the middle of a rundown business district, and the room decor matches that (but it was clean). Third, there is no dedicated shuttle to the airport (though the cab they called came in 5 minutes at rush hour). And fourth, and worst: my room was tiny, hardly room to turn around, with a mini-shower, AND adjacent to a misfiring transformer in the wall that buzzed like a door opener every 32 seconds (I counted since i couldn't sleep). I had the last room, so no where to move me, though the front desk felt bad and comped the couple items i got from the minibar.
Stayed one night on the way back from a trip in Tuscany looking forward for a nice comfortable hotel to spend my last night in Italy... well let me say that the hotel is miserable. It starts right at the entrance where you find a small door right next to a Chinese store in a not so good neighbourhood. This is not the bad part. The bad part is that it is an old hotel, badly taken of, with bad staff and a bad room. My bathroom looked like a bathroom from a miserable airport. I did not had the courage to take a bath in there. My advice: stay away from this and go for a real four star.
The hotel was very close to airport only 5/10 minute cab ride. The hotel was clean and the room was very nice & there were several restaurants/pizzaerias in the area. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Would stay here again if leaving the next day, the traffic in this part of town is very heavy. The room cost was good value.
Stayed the night before flight back to US. Had no problems and staff was helpful. Would stay again. The only issue we had was a strong sewer gas smell in the lobby, but the rooms were very nice and the beds were more comfortable than any other I slept on while in Italy.
While we find room sizes small in Europe compared to our spoiled Canadian standards, we were both thrilled to find a bathtub in the bathroom. Prices were reasonable and the hotel staff very eager to help out with our questions, problems and sightseeing. Front desk clerk, Sara went out of her way sorting out a future booking problem for us, on the next part of our European dream trip.
Hotel is typical of any facility you would find in Italy in this price range. Comfortable room, free wifi, minibar in room. Hotel shows shuttle and restaurant but there was no shuttle when we were there. There is a restaurant but there was nothing available other than drinks the night we stayed over.
Was here for a night with my husband and for the price, the room was good and breakfast was great. The staff both at check-in and check out were not enthusiastic but when you are a traveller from Africa, you learn to lower expectations??. What surprised us was someone knocking at our door twice at night after 10pm - must have missed their room - and even though we called the reception, no one checked on us, and there was no follow-up at check out. All-in-all, for the price and ease of connecting to Florence by public means, we would stay here again.
Really nice hotel not too far from city center. Good bus link to center. Family room quite spacious with good air conditioning. Breakfast is grand and so much choices. Receptionists all helpful. Good car parking.
Incredible but is true my computer was stoled from the safety box......We have left the hotel and 2 hrs later we have called the reception desk the personnel poorly spoke English and mentioned they can search the room until the next day. Next day we called 3 times and they mentioned to call later as no person to see the room , after we contacted Best Wester Customer service we receive a response that our computer was not there any more.....

Dear Oscar S We are very sorry for what happened, sometimes our guests forget items in their rooms and our procedure is to notify the guest of the forgetfulness or guests contact us and organize the shipment together through a courier of our trust. In this case the only owner of the security code when the room is occupied is the room owner and the emergency personnel in case of a forgotten code. At the time of departure or during your stay for any problem you can contact our staff always attentive to helping guests. Unfortunately, after careful research, no objects were found, and it is always a good thing on holiday to remember places where one has been and to think about the personal items collected before accusing someone. Do not hesitate to contact us at 0039 055431151 cordially Giuseppe Guest department service
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was winter and very cold outside, nonetheless we could keep the room warm with no problems at all (you can regulate temperature up to 30 Celsius degrees). It was quite cold in the restaurant, though (some mornings I had to have breakfast with the coat on). Would choose it again.

I was in Florence on business and needed a hotel for 1 night near the airport. I found this hotel on-line and the prices and ratings were good. So, I booked one night. I was not disappointed. Staff were friendly, prices quite reasonable, breakfast was very nice, the room was exceptionally clean, and the hotel is a 5-min, cab ride from the airport. The hotel is a bit old and worn looking so it could use a "face lift". The surrounding area is not in the nicest and touristy section of Florence, but I walked around in the everning with no problems. I would stay here again.

Very good service from Staff and Restaurant. They were closed and the Server stayed late and provided pasta dinner for our family. Average Room - if you are looking for basic room and location near Autostrade. The TV did not work had to use other room.
Fake triple room (very tiny double with a supposed extra bed (very inconfortable)that they forgot to include in our room). We had to wait 30minutes to get the extra bed. This happened at 10pm and we have a 4year old kid and a baby. Note that agencies websites say the parking is free there but the hotel fees for the actual garage are 12 euros.
We stayed at the Best Western after we arrived at Florence for one night before carrying onto our main holiday property the next day. It is fair to say this is a pretty basic budget hotel. The rooms are not great and the furniture might best be described as tatty, you get what you pay for in this hotel. Having said that all the staff were friendly and courteous and the location of the hotel is very close to Florence Airport, about 2kms away and the area is generally ok. We arrived late so tried one of the local pizzeria's "Pizza Man" which is about a 250m walk from the hotel and it was excellent and good value Overall this was a good decent basic hotel in a good location for the airport an d we would probably use it again. Four of us travelled (parents and two children) so the fact they had a quadruple room with one double and two single beds avoided the extra expense of booking two rooms.
Start with what made the stay....Raimondo in the restaurant and a beautiful breakfast buffet. Warm and friendly wait staff. Fresh and perpetually maintained foods, juices, breads...makes up for terrible parking situation and TINY showers...LOL
stayed here overnight before 0600 flight to Paris. Room and ablution facilities OK, nothing special but nothing wrong. Staff friendly and helpful, some more than others. Because we were tired, we ate in the hotel (it was Saturday evening). Very far from busy, but the special prix fixe menu was excellent, surprisingly good and very good value. Drink in the bar before was accompanied by tasty snacks. The hotel is close to the airport and there are some probably cheaper (but maybe not so good ?) places to eat withing walking distance, but the area is pretty dismal industrial. But for the price it is good.
We took a quadruple room for two nights. We found the room was little congested. Being vegetarian we were not having a lot of options for breakfast. The staff was good and speaks good English. It had a TV but not many channels in English. The place is very well located close to a bus stop and a supermarket. Overall, it provides a good value for money.
We were here for 2 nights, we got a room on the 7th floor, 706, which is a 2 bedroom apartment with balcony. The size and place is nice. Location wise this is great as it is near bus stop and supermarket if you want to buy some stuff like water and snacks. The staff are friendly and polite, the breakfast is good. The only thing I find strange is the shower location on the bath tub, which is side ways and make the water splash to the floor outside of bathtub.
We stayed here the night before our early morning flight back home after two glorious weeks in Tuscany. The hotel was quiet, clean and had AC. Friendly, accommodating front desk personnel. Would highly recommend for a stress free departure when you have a long flight ahead of you departing at the crack of dawn.
Clean, well kept, friendly, helpful staff. It is a bus journey/taxi ride to the centre, but the staff advise the best way that suits you. There is a lovely (long) riverside walk through a huge, lovely park to the centre (along which we discovered a large vibrant outdoor market) but it will take you up to an hour. Had a compact double rear room, not much of a view, but clean, modern with tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom very compact, but clean with a bath and shower (shower pressure terrible) and had all necessary guest toiletries. Breakfast was good and varied. A big bonus if driving there, was the secure (gated) shared car park at the rear, free to guests.
Not up to the Best Western Plus standards. Found live bugs in the room that didn't impress me. Was offered another room but if bugs were in one room then they would be in others as well. There was a lot of noise from the hall and rooms above that prevented us from having a good night sleep. When taking a shower the temperature of the water kept fluctuating. Not impressed.
Made the reservation through AMOMA (Mistake). Arrived at the hotel. I wanted to register my frequent use account with Best Western as this would bring me to a free stay at next stop. The desk attendant said he had no way of looking it up nor did he care to (my bad). Asked if he could direct us to a laundromat nearby. His response was. We don't have those here (wrong). He issued us a room. We arrived at the room and it was hot due to the sun exposure. The air conditioner didn't work We called and he sent a repairman. Thirty minutes later, the repairman arrives and wiggles the on/off switch and the thermostat control switch. I pointed out that condensation water was dripping from the ceiling on the entry way to the room. He made a mental note and disappeared. He returned with in five minutes a said its not working. I called the front desk for another room. He said he'd check and call me back. Another twenty minutes passed. My wife went down to the desk and all three desk attendants were there leaning up against the desk in a conversation. They were surprised and didn't know we had asked for another room. They gave us another room. The repairman said the air conditioning doesn't work in that room. We told them we were done and not going to stay there. The said they canceled the reservation, no problem. We asked for a printout of the cancelation and they said its no longer in the system so there is nothing to printout. We knew that was BS then and its still true to this day. Its a dump in a bad area with poor help. Avoid them if you can and judging by the response time I'd avoid AMOMA.com too.
We stayed here as it is very close to Florence Center. We were impressed with the room. It was small but it comfortably slept 2 adults and a child. The hotel looks a little dated from the outside as is the lobby however the bar and restaurant area is very nice and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Shame they only did scrambled eggs though! Things to improve - the main road is a little noisy but you can avoid this by getting a higher room (we were on the 6th floor). Also the bathroom had no ventilation so it was a little cramped and misty. We didn't book through TripAdvisor (which would have been great as always) but instead Expedia and we were not made aware that you had to pay city tax on departure. This was €4 something a night person so we were left with a surprising €30+ bill.
The rooms are spacious with a flat screen TV, free WiFi and excellent buffet breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean. The only downside was I was unable to sleep properly due to noise of traffic from the main road. The lift was out of order which meant I climbed up and down 6 flights of stairs. The staff were freindly and polite. The rooms were expensive given the noise from the road even at night. Aircon was effective. I recommend stay at this hotel but for the noise. Free parking is available on the street on weekends.
The parking and wifi were included, the room was very comfortable. Convenient to the airport. No complaints at all. Very attentive to our needs. Called for a cab which was there before we finished checking out.
The hotel is situated at a convenient place, only a short walk from the central station and this is is particularly important as all the day tours to Pisa/Rome etc depart from the station. The stay was decent, rooms, even though small, were comfortable, clean and well equipped and breakfast was well stocked. all in all a comfortable stay
My credit card was charged for 4 night when I only stayed 2. I've called several times and sent my bank details so they can make the refund but after 2 months I haven't received neither an email, phone call, nor an excuse for the error. I'm tired of calling and email them, because I never receive a clear answer, and either the refund. It's really frustrating and dishonest! Therefore I absolutely not recommend this hotel.
Loved this place, the room was spacious and clean. Staff were polite and helpful when needed. In a really good location for access to the airport with a supermarket nearby as well as a few restaurants down the street. We stayed here for 5 nights and found it easy to get into the centre of Florence using the public transport system although it does take between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
I will say I was torn between 2 stars and 3 stars because of the service. Starting with the room itself, it was a nice and clean room. It was a little awkward of a setup because it was a small room with 4 beds because we had 4 people staying but it was still a nice room. The location is towards the edge of town but luckily there is a bus stop just a very short walk that will take you to the city center. You can but the bus tickets there at the hotel for just over 1 euro. The breakfast is good and there is a large selection of food to choose from. The service on the other hand was very poor. When checking in we heard the group in front of us get the wifi service described to them in Italian. When we were checking in we were told nothing about how to connect to wifi or anything and were left to figure out how to do it on our own. Also when we asked about the bus services and how to get to the city center the gentlemen explained it to us. When we came back to purchase our bus tickets we asked again just to verify we were correct since we are obviously not from the area. His response was "I already told you earlier. But you take...." I thought that was very rude. Lastly when checking out we were charged more than what we were originally told for breakfast. It was an extra charge for not being from the area apparently but it was something that they could have told us in the first place rather than misleading us about the price for breakfast. Overall the stay itself was good but just really poor customer service. I don't think I would stay here again.
Very happy with the hotel. I had to stay close to the airport for one night. Luckily enough it was even walking distance as getting a taxi was impossible as the flight got delayed. I was surprised by the 5 euro breakfast. Really good.

The welcome at the hotel was very nice. The rooms are clean and big enough. The breakfast was more American than Italian but the quality was good. We had to skip the last night and we didn't have to pay a fee for cancelling the stay. That was very nice! If you want to go to the centre of Florence you can buy a bus ticket at the reception. If you want to go back to the hotel in the night you have to take a taxi but it's still cheaper than staying in a hotel in the centre.

I spent 4 nights in this hotel and I can recommend it. Almost everything was good: breakfast with good coffee, everyday fresh towels and cleaned room, free parking and really nice receptionist Enrico - very helpful. Only one minus was small bedrooms, it could be a little bit bigger. In general I can recommend this hotel :)
The hotel was superb. We have booked a 4 bed room that it was very clean and very comfort. The hotel offers a private guarded outside car parking. It is located in a peace area and it is very good for families with kids. Just excellent.

I stayed there for one night on our way to Verona and I should say I didn't like the room I stayed in nor did I liked the breakfast. It had no varieties and it was disappointing. The hotel is in a desperate need for face-lift and re-innovations. I will recommend this hotel for those who are on budget and who also want to be near the airport.
I was surprised at how comfortable and nice this hotel is. We stayed here two times (when we arrived to Italy and 3 weeks later when we were departing from Florence). It is close to the airport (taxi cost about $15) and the room was nice and clean - included full amenities. Breakfast was great! We truly enjoyed the selection of cold, cuts, cheese, fruits, cereals, pastries, eggs, fresh orange juice, and cakes. Everybody was very courteous and this was the best of all: Alitalia broke one of our luggages and they agree to gave us a new one. We were going to a lot of places in Italy, not just Florence, so we asked at this hotel if they could receive the luggage for us - since we were coming back the following month. They said Yes! when we got back at the hotel after 3 weeks, they had our new luggage safely stored for us there. We are so grateful!
If you are a little adventurous and have the time I walked from the Flroence Airport to the Hotel. It was a nice walk and the Hotel, although a small room, was excellent. They are currently having some renovations but it didn't affect my stay and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was quiet for sleep and had a black out curtain. I enjoyed my time as a stop over place near the airport. I am not sure about transportation from the Hotel to the main sites.
The breakfast was the BEST ever!!! They were doing remodeling so it will really be nice in a few months. Very pleasant and helpful!!! 5 minutes from airport. Had good WIFI and very spacious bathroom which was nice.

When we got to the hotel there was no water to take a bath and we came across with other mini problems too , enough to ruin our mood. Eventually Florence was so beautiful that we overcame them. However, the breakfast was delicious.
Pretty disappointed with this hotel, more so by the lack of care shown by staff. The room was tiny - As a couple travelling, there was literally no floor space available other than 20cm gap around the perimeter of the bed. Bed was ok, but there was also very little room in the bathroom. All within half a step is the toilet, sink, shower and in-swinging door. Even though it was only just passable in terms of space - the lack of modern capabilities is astounding. No proper European Electrical plugs in the room, and when asking staff downstairs if they have an available adapter (which I offered to pay for), he said, no - nothing we can do, you'll have to turn the tv on and use the USB plug. As a tradesman back home, it's really quite easy to update an electric plug. Very easy. We travelled witha large organized group, and it turns out all rooms are completely different! So you might just get lucky?! Overall... It was pretty poor, and I was very disheartened with our experience here as we completely fell in love with Italy. All it needs is a facelift and it'll be ok.
We stayed at the Nord Hotel on our last day/night in Florence as we had a morning flight back to the states. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport (a 5 minute cab ride) and the city center (15 minute bus ride to Porta al Arca and then one stop on the tram to SMN station). We arrived about 10 AM hoping to drop off our bags before heading into the city. The clerk told us we could have the room immediately, which made us very grateful. The room was small, but for one night who cares, but the bathroom had a large tub, so taking a shower was the easiest and most comfortable for our trip. After dropping off our bags, we bought bus tickets from the clerk and walked down the street to catch the bus (#29, 30, or 35 will take you). When we returned late in the afternoon we asked the clerk for a good restaurant nearby. He told us of Osteria di Poneta and then made reservations. The walk to the restaurant was longer than he said (about 15 minutes) but it was worth it. The next morning, the same clerk called us a taxi and 5 minutes later we were at the airport. No complaints about our stay at this hotel.
