Excellent and affordable hotel. Not too far from New Smyrna Beach in one direction, and Cape Canaveral National Seashore in the other. Clean rooms. Quaint quiet hotel.
Best Western of Edgewater is a great motel close to everything. Restaurants, CVS Pharmacy, Winn Dixie, Auto Zone and many other places for shopping. It is a short 15 min drive to the New Smyrna Beach, and a little longer drive to Port Orange, and Daytona Beach. The motel is nice and clean. The owners and staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast is available each morning with a variety of items both hot and cold. Free coffee is available 24 hrs a day. The motel is clean and well maintained. There is a large parking lot with good lighting. I always feel safe when I stay here and walk in the area. The prices of their rooms are fair compared to others in the area. The motel has an outdoor pool and soft drinks and snacks are available to purchase at the front desk. If you want to stay in a place that is quiet yet close to your favorite areas then you would enjoy staying here. If you ever have a problem, the staff is always willing to find a solution.

The good: Front desk helpful, bed comfortable, a/c worked, quiet, clean. The not-so-good: Couldn't check in 30 minutes early unless we paid an additional fee $25 - when there were only 3 cars in the lot. Not the front desk attendants fault, computer would automatically add. Being a Rewards Member doesn't matter. NO COFFEE IN THE ROOMS. They do have in the lobby, but I haven't stayed in a motel/hotel with no coffee in rooms in the last 35 yrs. I mean, come on... Breakfast...was not great. TV - turned on, but we were never able to get any channels to tune in. Too late at night to call the front desk.

A wonderful place to stay. Very clean and friendly staff. A safe environment. Rooms are in great condition. Located near restaurants and other businesses. Large parking area. Free breakfast with a good variety. Front desk staff are very helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

Came to Edgewater due to a family emergency. looking where to stay close to my relatives found this hotel. Room clean, comfortable bed, nice parking area. Limited but Good breakfast. Front desk service friendly. Overall property facilities well kept. Will stay again. Daniel, Puerto Rico

Our 5 night stay was wonderful! We had hoped to stay in New Smyrna Beach however, being Datona 500 weekend there was nothing available in our price range. Edgewater is about 4 miles from our desired area so we gave this hotel a shot. Our room was quiet, clean and appeared to be recently updated. The bed was comfortable with ample pillows. Housekeeping was very accommodating and available on OUR schedule! Breakfast had an ample selection. There was an egg choice, breakfast meat choice, cold cereal, frest fruit, yogurt and a waffle station. It was not a full blown buffet but more that enough to start your day! Yes, the pool is in the middle of the parking lot however, it is surrounded by a neatly trimmed privacy hedge and fence. The water was clear and there were enough lounge chairs and tables to accomodate several guests. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our late check in and very early check out. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
As an emergency stopover, it was wonderful to find a motel so clean and inviting. The personnel with whom I encountered were professional, courteous, and very helpful. Definitely 5 stars. Added to my list of hotels worth revisiting. See you next time.

Walls are VERY thin. Breakfast was lacking flavor and juice was very watered down. Had to remind front desk of the early check in service they offer after employee blurted out “check in is after 3:00”, which I had called hours ahead of time to confirm. TV remote did not work well. Outside of tub was dirty. Pool is in the front parking lot.

We decided to stay at the Best Western-Edgewater as we were looking for a hotel with less traffic and more quietness. It was perfect. Food, shoppes, and markets were within 1/2 mile.

This was the cleanest hotel that I have stayed at in years! The location was central and there was nice sitting area outside in the back of the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful with recommendations for local places to eat and helped me with an item I forgot to bring.

I stayed one night for business. This was the only hotel in the area so my expectations were not high. I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. A great place to stop for the night or a couple of days. The breakfast was standard for this kind of hotel chain, nothing to to write home about, but it did the job. I would stay here again if I was in the area

We had a wonderful stay here, from January 16th to February 5th. We wanted a central location and this was perfect. The room, on the second floor, was quiet and the bed was one of the most comfortable in any hotel we've stayed. The housekeeping staff is excellent and the room was spotless. The complimentary breakfast had a range of choices. The general manager, JJ Patel, could not have been more accommodating throughout our visit and Amber, on the front desk was also very helpful. There's an attractive outdoor pool and we did enjoy that. Although the hotel needs some cosmetic updates, it scores high in all the ways that count ( See above). We highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay especially if you don't want to stay on the beach but is still very close. Substantial breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes and a waffle maker. Also light options like yogurt and pastries.

Edgewater Inn is a great motel with a good, hot breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. It is conveniently located near food, pharmacy and clothing stores if needed. I highly recommend this motel.

Clean and comfortable room. They ran out of milk for cereal in the breakfast area two mornings in a row. Only packet oatmeal! Coffee from a machine? Outside pool, not heated ( cold!!! ). Owner and family living in the motel. Almost, but not quite ready for a better rating!!!

Room was very clean. Breakfast choices were amazing, Amber was very friendly and positive personality ! This hotel takes pride in the upkeep of the grounds and interior of the building. Great location and easy access !

Location near New Smyrna Beach. Hotels in NSB required two night stay so this was a nice option. Walls are thin so you hear everything. Pool appears to be afterthought placed in front parking lot. Hotel was over priced for what you get but I guess people will pay since there aren't many other options. Biggest concern with me was my experience with Best Western corporate rather than this specific location. They don't do anything to encourage or support locations. As such it makes it difficult to recommend any Best Westerns.

Slightly overpriced even for the Memorial holiday season. Comfortable clean room ...Need fitting toilet seat. Otherwise, good accommodations, if the next door guest are quiet as was for our stay. They walls are thin and sound comes through easily. .

Nice to find a hotel that still offers a hot breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the beds were better than expected. The staff were also fantastic! Walking distance to a grocery store was a plus! We will definitely stay again in the future!
My husband and I had to travel to Edgewater for a meeting. We weren't sure what to expect as there weren't many options for a hotel in the area; however, we were not disappointed by this Best Western. Although it's a little hidden and looks small compared to other hotels we've stayed at, everything was great: From Cheryl who greeted us at the front desk to the room and the breakfast the next morning. The room was clean and comfforbtale to sleep in. We both agreed we would stay here again with no qualms or hesitation.
You won't be disappointed. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is well stocked. The entire property is well maintained. Amber and Cheryl were great! I would recommend to anyone and would definately stay again.
Was there 4 nights, Excellent experience, from arriving to leaving, great breakfast, all help was outstanding. Very clean and fresh. Plus, no animals allowed, was great. Keep up the good work. we will be back.

BW Edgewater Inn was wonderful! The room was great; the service stellar; and the breakfast delicious! The tv had ESPN, etc. A+ . We met family at New Smyrna Beach and needed lodging for Thanksgiving evening. The BW Edgewater Inn was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We were very pleased with our stay. Staff was very nice and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. Great variety for breakfast. Location is close to grocery stores, restaurants and not far from the beach.

Comfortable and nice but a tad overpriced. No hot water and the pool closed too early to enjoy after dinner. The fridge should have been set long before guests arrive but not really a big deal. It was a nice place overall

We've stayed a few times now at this best western. The cleaning here is beyond the average cleaning. Everyone is kind and accommodating from the moment you arrive. The location is great and we will recommend to anyone and we will be staying here again. I apologize greatly for previous review which was meant for a best western in GA.

Everytime I have business meetings out of town I always chose best western! I love the convenience of having breakfast right down the hall of my bedroom when I wake up! The quality of their breakfast is amazing too! The hospitality is exceptional and cleanliness!

The place was incredibly clean, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and were quick to answer questions as well as swiftly take care of our needs. I have zero complaints, I have yet to have a bad experience at a best western.

My friend and I really enjoyed this hotel. It's small size made everything so convenient. The lobby is just steps away and the pool is right across from the entrance. It is near grocery stores, drug stores, convenience stores and much more. We spent the night here so we could go to Merritt Island for some early morning bird watching. Breakfast was nice and early and the eating area was meticulously clean. All in all, we plan to come here again for future bird watching trips.

Best Western is a great motel to stay in, in any city/town. The one in Edgewater, FL is excellent. We were met with friendliness, cleanliness, and our accessible room was great - even down to the roll in shower - it was perfect, in the way that it drained properly, and not all over the floor like some hotel roll in showers! Breakfast was excellent with wide variety of options. We will definitely stay here again.

Room had a foul smell and we could hear everything going on from 2 rooms away. Staff was really nice and helpful. Pillows were so small and had 2 of the same type, at lest give 1 soft and 1 firm. I think they just need to renovate the room.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I've had. From the front desk staff to housekeeping to breakfast etc. Couldn't have asked for more. Will always stay there if I'm in the area. The room was incredibly comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights visiting Edgewater. Hotel is in great shape and clean ,service is awesome! The room I was in ....walls were thin as we could hear people talking. Good breakfast selection. Would stay again.

Nice, clean, staff helpful and friendly, didn't use the pool, weather was cool, had a little issue with the thermostat but we never remembered to report it or I'm sure it would have been taken care of, because the staff was great. The location is our favorite part, it is five minutes from my Mom's house and that makes it extremely convenient, there are also several restaurants and fast food restaurants nearby...CVS a quick walk across parking lot...

We checked in Sunday morning at 3am, the front desk was welcoming and courteous. Every time we passed through the front lobby it was very clean and accompanied by pleasant smiles and kind folks. Our room was more than we expected, with a good sized bathroom, spacious layout, and stocked with essentials, it was very roomy and well prepared for our stay. The refrigerator, TV, and air conditioning units were all satisfactory and in perfect working order, making our stay more comfortable than we had imagined. I spoke with 3 staff Members during our stay. One lady checked us in at 3am on September 5th, she was very kind and helpful. The following days I spoke with another lady who attended the front desk, she was very sweet and accommodating to my questions and passing greets as we entered and exited the hotel. The last person I spoke with was a gentleman at the front desk, I simply told him we had a great stay and that I would be looking for a place to write an online review, he seemed gracious and genuine. The other staff that I encountered all seemed to enjoy and take pride in their jobs. Hats off to the staff for their great attitudes and friendly faces, this is what gives a hotel the feel of a “guest” experience, and not just another hotel. I booked our room nearly a month in advance, and it was the last room of its kind. My father lives only a miles away from Edgewater's Best Western, and though he hasn't stayed at this hotel, he recommends it based on friend's testimonies, saying it's the nicest hotel in their area. This was our first trip to Edgewater, and thanks to our experience, Best Western is our new go-to hotel.

We have a family that live in the area so this location works for us. It's a good lodge for the price offered. Room and common areas were clean. Rooms have carpeting which is understandable to have it difficult to clean to perfection and make it smell free of dust. Air quality can definitely be improved. A/C is not central, thus it makes lots of noise while working during the night. Breakfast is junk food that can be acquired at any gas station.

Very professionally operated BW staff and team of great people and family who really strive to make sure their customers enjoy a relaxing experience. It may not have all the best tv channels, but they go out of their way to ensure that you have a hot breakfast now (which is a lot more than most other places), and the family and staff really go above and beyond to make sure you have a quiet and relaxing and safe stay. I've stayed here about 4 times each year for almost 10 years now, and surprised that they haven't expanded this location.
I have not stayed at a Best Western in years and was reluctant. The hotel was clean and nice overall. The front desk check in was easy and they were all so friendly and accommodating. The ONLY downside was the Hotel Lobby smelled like some kind of curry food was cooked there. This was an over time smell from cooking many times in the hotel. Other than the smell in the lobby all was clean and quiet.

My son and I stayed for a long weekend for my daughter's wedding. It was clean and the staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was modified due to COVID, but was still tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Room was clean, breakfast was ok nothing great, No work out area, pool was outside no heat, small parking area. Staff was ok some not very friendly, put us next to the elevators . very loud, beds were good and clean

I have stayed there on different occasions and I am extremely satisfied with the service and the cleanness of the rooms. The A/C in the rooms are amazing and so is the internet and the staff is very accommodating.
I needed to be in the new Smyrna beach area and picked this hotel due to proximity of where I needed to be. Also because of the high ratings it got. Best Western certainly doesn't mean poor quality because this hotel was Very clean and friendly and professional staff. Great overall experience

It is clean, updated, and the service is wonderful. The front desk was very accommodating when we checked in and my mother wanted a different room. I was very happy with the room size. The bathroom, my biggest worry when traveling, was very clean. It's a nice place to stay.

An overnight stay on a trip to a cruise vacation. Hotel and facilities were clean, comfortable and inviting. We appreciate the morning hot breakfast, but don't expect a gourmet experience - packaged products, i.e. eggs, meat products. etc. Close to New Smyrna Beach, which has some delightful restaurants.

Open for more than 10 years, the property still looks brand new! This is the bottom tier of the BW three levels. The place is really clean, the Internet is very good and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is okay, but the portions are smaller than I would expect.

It was a perfect getaway for us. We went to dinner at RipTides and stayed the night at BestWestern. It was for my Birthday and it was great! Will definately be back again. For the money to stay it was well worth it.

I highly recommend this hotel. It was very clean. The staff was friendly. Parking lot is well lit. I was cautious to stay here because we had stayed in this hotel about 10 years ago and did not have a great experience. The hotel has since been renovated and met all of my expectations. Previous comments about the walls being thin were not an issue for us. We could hear some noise from the hallway but it was minimal and did not disturb our stay. We will stay here again!

People were very friendly from the desk clerks to the housekeeping staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. Best Western has awesome pillows and a warm blanket on the bed. I will definitely stay there again.

Everyone at this hotel was very kind to us during a visit to Florida for my father in law's funeral. We were a big crowd from around the country and they allowed us all to gather and visit in the lobby and on the hotel property. They were caring and compassionate. Although it is not a water front property, this hotel is located in a very safe area, is always very clean, and has good room rates. Hve stayed there many times over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed.
We just needed to stay one night in Edgewater and we have stayed at this Best Western before. The hotel has been remodeled in the past couple of years and the rooms are modern and updated. The beds are very comfortable and there is ample space in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we always enjoy the free breakfast. It always has hot items like omelettes, waffles and sausage, as well as cold cereals, biscuits, fruit, etc.
I say the Best Western was a life saver because it truly was this time. Our air conditioner decided to die on the hottest day of the year, and we sought refuge. We were able to get a large king bedroom located on the first floor with an impending holiday. The room was spacious, mini fridge, wi-fi, and had a pull out sofa where we could sit and relax. There is an outdoor pool which is well maintained, and complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend this BW for anyone needing a place to stay, and doesn't need to be directly on the beach. It is about 10 minutes from the beaches at New Smyrna, 40 minutes from Cape Kennedy and the Canaveral seashores
The hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly. Recently renovated, so it was very clean. Our room had a sofa bed and the mattress was brand new, still in the plastic. Lobby and breakfast area were small but plenty of seating. Breakfast was the typical selections, plenty of choices for a quick bite. We were an easy 20 minute drive from the Flager Ave area. My only complaint, the walls were very thin. If you have normal neighbors than no big deal. We had a family with two small kids who screamed and played into the early evening. They were across the hall and three rooms down. It sounded like they were next door. Thankfully they were calmed down by the time we got back from our late dinner. But still, we had to get up at 5am and we could hear our neighbors already awake and chatting. I know this happens in a hotel but it seemed more noticeable than normal. Just worth mentioning, your comfort is in your neighbors hands.
This was our 2nd stay at this property. Both times my wife and I felt so "comfortable". It was almost like staying at a friends house. I wish there was a data base for places like this. There is a big difference between acting friendly and being friendly. The staff there is the latter.

Clean, central spot in Edgewater, nice breakfast and better price than the beach. If you don't need to be in Daytona Beach this is the spot for you. Have stayed here a few times in the past and the staff has stayed the same, they take care of the place like its their home.

Nice, clean hotel. Nice pool (but cold) Convenient location for travelling. Had a few shops and restaurants around but not a huge option. Was there during Bike Week, so had to put up with the noise of motorcycles. Thought is was quite pricey and moved to an oceanfront hotel/condo in Daytona for less than half the nightly price.

This was a wonderful stay. The facilities were clean and up to date. Outside was well groomed. Pool was available. There was little to no noise from the road. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was standard for the Best Western.

My husband and I love the New Smyrna/Edgewater area, and this Best Western is centrally located. The staff is friendly and caring, the breakfast is fresh and hot, and the rooms are clean. We have stayed here two times, and both have been very enjoyable. We'll be returning again soon. Actually moving to the area when we retire.

quiet place to relax, great breakfast, and just minutes away from the beach, and nice local Italian restaurant just across and down the street (Alberto's). Not one of the larger BW's, but a nice place to get away from it all but still has amenities nearby too.

I experienced Southern Hospitality at its best in Best Western Edgewater. The front desk staff were always very friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good. The location was central for the business I had in Edgewater, FL. It was on par with pricier hotels in populated areas - GREAT value!

comfy, clean, quiet, was a pretty ok place. Was in a jacuzzi room and the room was really nice. We were far enough away from everything that it was nice and quiet. Would go again (plus it's cheap for being one of the only ones)
The Best Western in Edgewater in was recently renovated. The lobby and rooms are beautiful. My one complaint with this hotel is it the walls are paper thin. We were in room 107. At night we could hear the conversations of the tenants in the neighboring rooms even when they were speaking in a normal voice. In the morning I could hear the coughing of my neighbors as well as the beeping of the waffle iron as waffles were being cooked. Maybe just ask for a room away from others and from the breakfast area!

This hotel was extremely overpriced during Bike Week compared to others that were closer to the activities (this hotel was 30 miles from the main attractions and not in a great area). Their cancellation policy also is extremely restrictive (must cancel 7 days in advance). The front desk person I spoke with when I called to try to cancel was very rude. Would not stay here again for those reasons.

The location is a nice half way point while traveling down the state of Florida during our week. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were here during bike week and they were very accommodating to us and our truck, trailer and bikes.

This was by far the worst night I have ever had at a hotel - we arrived in the early evening and were given a room that smelled terribly like smoke - this being a smoke free hotel we went back down stairs to report the smell we were them given a room right next to the smoke smelling one and were told rooms could probably still smell like smoke since smoking was previously allowed - of course the room next door smelled just as bad . Not being allergic to smoke my husband and I agreed to just not worry for the night about it . Unfortunately as I am writing this the noise from next door is so loud that we my husband and I are still awake at almost 1 am — the noise is of loud talking / partying doors slamming etc - o am sure it's noise that is spamming across the whole hallway - fighting cancer for the second time my enemy is low and I could really use my nightly sleep - I feel the night time desk manager should have taken better care of us - just my humble opinion ( btw it's quite obvious I am fighting cancer bald head on 53 year old female dead give away ) I can't not recommend this property at all

Stopped for a one night stay, friendly staff , our room was a mini suite with king bed Big easy chair and small sofa, very clean . Found out next morning hotel had a total makeover after hurricane. Good breakfast. Easy parking, very nice stay. Will return. Jesse
We were so lucky to find this hotel for our short vacation to New Smyrna Beach! It's about 5 miles easy drive to Flagler Avenue, Canal Street, and the beach at New Smyrna. Our rooms were the cleanest we've seen in any comparable hotel, the beds were clean and comfortable, and a hot breakfast is offered - all for a better price than the hotels right in New Smyrna. The staff was very friendly, especially Louis, who made sure everything was perfect for breakfast. The entrance to the hotel is right on U.S. 1, but the building sits back a little from the highway, offering privacy and nice landscaping. We would definitely stay here again!
I would come back again. Great value for the great service. Good family place to put your head down, clean and friendly staff. Minutes from New Symnra Beach and great little town that runs off of water. Good restaurants in addition to being convenient to everything.

Pleasant, comfortable rooms, clean. Good location. Easy to find. Enjoyed stay. My wife and I were driving through the area on I 95 and were unfamiliar with with hotels that were available. We saw a Best Western Motel on the road sign and decided to go there. We were pleasantly surprised. My wife is generally cold and we were afraid that the air conditioning would make it cold in the room but the temp controls worked great and we were very comfortable. TV had easy controller with TV station guide. Great to have a roomy refrigerator too. Would come back

Two nights during the Biketoberfest. Second floor room was clean and beds comfortable, although noticeable road noise through evening in room overlooking pool and found earplugs useful. Breakfast nice, wifi good, staff friendly, pool was pleasant but, situated out at the front it suffered from busy road noise and lacked shade. A ground floor room was undergoing refurbishment, but wasn't a problem and nice to see they are keeping rooms fresh.

The beds were comfy, staff was super friendly. Breakfast was delicious every morning! The outdoor pool was amazing and open until 10am. Our children loved that(all under age of 10) we went out during the day and come back to swim at night. was never bothered. It was nice.

I stayed here when I was in Edgewater for a guided fishing trip. Captain Chris Meyers from Central Florida Sight Fishing Charters recommended I stay here for my trip. It was a great choice. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. They pool was nice. They located in town on the main drag so you are close to everything you need. Also a will maintained facility and lawn. Close to the water on the mainland side. Free breakfast. Free WiFi. 300 channel TV. Secure. Easy access. Shopping nearby.
First stop on our A1A anniversary trip. It's close to A1A and 1, the room was clean, close to restaurants. We where happy with their no smoking hotel policy. Check in check out was nice and easy. The hotel is quite also, our room was next to the elevator and never heard a sound.

This was a quick overnight stay during a road trip. The room was big, very very clean, and quiet. All the necessary amenities. The bed was great, good internet and it's in an area that is very quiet and safe, with easy access to everything. They happily accommodated us when we asked if we could check in an hour early. We didn't eat breakfast,but it's the standard fare breakfast. The pool looked nice. We will stay there again when visiting that area in the near future.

We decided to try this location based on the reviews and the location and we were very pleased. The front desk staff works very hard and they are friendly and accomodating. The room was newly renovated and nice and clean. The pool was a little small but fine. The breakfast was good, you should be able to find something you enjoy eating whether it be fresh made waffles or cereal, oatmeal, bagels, english muffind, sweets, yogurt or sausage or bacon, biscuits and egg patties which are so-so. They are going to be remodeling their lobby to make it larger which will be nice but all in all a good place to stay and we would return. It was only about 5 or 6 miles from the beach and a very good price.

I reserved a room for three nights. Very Helpful staff. Room was clean. I had made the reservation to visit my family who recently moved to the area. I showed up with a warm welcome and when I mentioned my name they were waiting on me. That is a great feeling, I was not just a number.. Nice rooms, but the owners are so rude to my employees and need to be sent to customer service school! When the credit card is declined for fraud reasons, they are spring loaded to throw everyone out instead of asking for another card. They should not be in the hospitality business! Pleasant demeanor is what they need to work on!
Mr Brian, I think you need to go to business management school. Credit card declined one or two times is ok, but when credit card declined all the time with multiple creditcard is horrible business management. Rooms are not even remotely quiet...sounds can be heard from other rooms. Beds are terribly uncomfortable which makes for a very unrestful sleep. The location and facility itself is OK but for the $$$ was a disappointment.

The place was clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was well presented but only standard items. The room was either too cold or too hot. The sink was slow to drain and told staff when we checked out. Based on the new "logo" of BW, I would have expected upgraded breakfast. Overall, it is the only place to stay in Edgewater. Close to everything.

Staff handles raw breakfast food without sanitary gloves, They do not provide cereal or whole milk for breakfast. Travel all over the country and this is the first time I've experienced this. Really?? No cereal or milk???? Refrigerator did not work and had to request being transferred to another room. They did so without any further issues.

This place is awesome! I was able to get one of their hot tub suites(which i definitely recommend it was super relaxing) but we were running later. Cheryl went ahead and put in we were going to run late and she was there when we got there. She was so helpful and all smiles. She showed us a few of the local restaurants on the map and recommended some of the areas and places along with attractions (I think it was an art wall or something that weekend). It's only a 10 minute drive from new symera beach and we woke up early to watch the sunrise and it was amazing. If you're looking for a quiet little getaway to spend a weekend not near the noise and hustle of Daytona or Ormond this is a gorgeous place. The rooms are up to date and clean, breakfast was good, the had meat and eggs and waffles. 5 stars all around.

Very clean, helpful staff, no complaints. Nice low key hotel. The hotel is set back from the main road so it is quiet. Room was very comfortable. Good size bathroom. Would stay again. Close to Publix, CVS and several restaurant options within a couple of miles.

Stayed 2 nights. Friendly front desk and staff! Nice free breakfast. Location great to New Smyrna. Walls pretty thin; heard a domestic dispute next door that was a bit disturbing!! Furniture a bit worn but was clean and room was clean.

Stayed a couple of nights while waiting to get into a condo rental. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. What impressed me most was that someone was always cleaning something. Breakfast was good.

After Hurricane Matthew and finally getting our roof repaired, a family member needed to sleep during the day due to working at night. Every person on the staff that we spoke with listened to our needs and made every effort to insure that we were undisturbed during the day. They placed us in one of the quietest rooms in the hotel and made sure we were happy. Was really impressed with their attitudes, it was unusual for a hotel in my experience. Because we were passing through during bike week we were forced to pay $236.00 an we tried but nothing else around. The room was clean but the view from the room window was a blue tarp covering something right up against the window so no view at all. With the exchange on Canadian funds this really hurt the pocket book. Lesson learned.... never stay near Dayton during bike week!

This hotel was very well looked after. The gardens and lawn were beautiful. A pool outside was a bonus. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. The room was lovely and we really enjoyed driving around the city of Edgewater. Small, close to the water. We found a really nice fishing pier to wander around and look at the pelicans and mangroves. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is a very clean, nice quiet place. It is a little off the street, has a pool and all entrances are through the lobby. There is a morning breakfast, although there was not any coffee when I got to the decanter. Check-in and out was very easy. Make sure you use some sort of travel ticketing service like Expedia or tripadvisor or the rates will be much, much high. Also, be aware if you use your credit card but plan on paying cash they will charge an additional $100 cash down, which will be refunded at the time of check out.

My parents have stayed at this hotel several times--my grandparents live in the area. On a recent trip my brother and I booked a room for two nights. Very friendly staff--I was greeted by name when checked in. Rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. The free breakfast is basic but fresh, tasty, and more than adequate. There are a few stores in the immediate area if you need snacks, toiletries, etc. A very stress-free stay.

A repair problem put us out of our home for 5 days. J.J. and his staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful than they were. They made our stay there very enjoyable. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Every staff member seemed very happy to help us no matter what the situation was. Even when we had a small mess in the breakfast room, the lady working came right over and cleaned it up with out hesitation and smiled and said no problem I got this. Well long story short e at about 1:30 am Sat.june 11th oil pan blew on 95 about 100 miles into our long awaited trip to long island and had nota clue where we were. Needless to say limped our way to Best Western. Wasn't sure we would be able to get a room as there parking lot was more than full but as our luck would have it they did. Three adults and one 3 yr. Old. We were given a really nice 2 queen size bed room. I was more than happy to pay 129.00 plus 50.00 incidental deposit cause we paid with cash instead of credit, and was told we would get it back at checkout. No problem gentlemen was very nice had some what a few good hrs sleep not anyone's fault just had to get over initial disappointment of our situation. In am it became clear that we would need to stay a little longer than 11:00 am checkout due to having to wait for a tow truck and didn't want to wait outside for two to three hrs with a three yr old and after a short conversation with new person to us at the counter who was very nice and understanding our situation allowed us till three o'cllock to check out. We ended up leaving at two and checked out with out a problem. Now it may not seem a lot to many people but if we had just 1 small glitch in any of this it would of made our situation way worse than it already seemed and am not sure how we would have handled it..... so just wanted to say thank-you thank-you thank-you ! Never can tell somebody enough when it's really meant.

The room was clean, and everyone was so nice. The free breakfast was also very good. The room had a small microware and refrigerator. A CVS was right night door which was very nice. We spent 2 nights here and would stay here again.

My stay was very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and the decor is modern. I would consider a built in for the fridge and microwave. It would look modern. It's nice features to have in a room. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were easy to have a great quality sleep on.

We stayed for 4 nights and our room was quiet and located close to the elevator. We had a small refrigerator and microwave. We called ahead and they gave us the names of fishing guides that were local and my husband was able to book an inshore fishing trip for the 2nd day. We beat the rain and had a fabulous time fishing. I caught the largest red fish I've ever seen 14 lbs & 29". My husband caught the biggest but he let me catch the most. We had so much fun fishing with Scott Tripp & his dog Hooper we went again the next morning and the fish may not have been as big as the day before, we still caught & released at least a dozen from Puffer fish to Trout to Catfish - All fun. I recommend this hotel it's conveniently located between Daytona Beach & Cape Canaveral and the rooms are very clean, the morning breakfast was ample with waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon toast breakfast cereal & the morning paper. I will stay here again

I had to travel to Florida during Spring Break/March Madness for business and I wasn't sure I'd find a hotel but I did! I always enjoy my stays at Best Westerns and this stay was great too. I wanted to take the bed home as it's much more comfortable than my own.
The main thing I'd like to comment on is that the beds are FANTASTIC. Even my sister, who is rather picky about bed comfort, was thrilled. In fact, she didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning! The breakfast smelled delightful, but we couldn't get into the breakfast room it was so packed... so we left. Room was big and well outfitted. Overall I was pleased.

Stayed here for 6 nights while visiting friends; this is a super clean hotel, breakfast was good with immaculately clean and fast attendant each morning keeping the breakfast bar well stocked and neat, the room was very clean and very comfortable beds and pillows, internet worked well, lots of free parking, pool area was clean although we did not go in the pool, could not hear other guests in the hotel, it is within easy walking distance of a drugstore, grocery store, library etc. Nothing negative to say about the hotel or staff! (staff was very friendly and hard working)

I was in the greater Daytona area for a high school reunion with friends. This hotel was recommended for it's quality and location to events that were happening this weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this property. It's not a BW Plus property; however, I think it could qualify. I don't think you'd be disappointed in booking this hotel.

The appearance was pleasing. The staff was friendly. Room clean and breakfast was what was to be expected. It wasn't a 5 star breakfast buffet, but it did have a few hot items available. My only complaint was that the walls were paper thin and we could hear the neighbor's conversations, laughter and what later sounded like intimate behavior. That was a little uncomfortable considering I was there with my mom.

Its close to the river, just a few miles from the beach and I-95 is just minutes away which is very convenient for those wanting to visit theme parks and/or the beach. The staff was very accommodating letting us check in early and they have a great breakfast buffet.

The facility is modern and well kept. Excellent hot breakfast bar. CVS located next door if you should need anything. Staff very helpful. Beds were very comfortable and clean. We were only there for an overnight stay... passing thru... but would love to return and explore the area.

The perfect hotel. It may not be on the beach, but if you want value, professional staff and very clean hotel with comfortable beds, then this is your hotel. New Smyrna airport is 7 minutes away and this hotel makes it quite convenient. We have a dog and this hotel has 2 rooms that are pet friendly. The rooms are flea free and extremely clean!

This hotel is very clean. Everything is updated. Pleased with efficiency and services. Very friendly staff. Noises from road not a problem. Breakfast is typical fare but ok. Only negative is poor wifi.

After each morning, I felt stiff back and shoulder due to low quality of the mattress. The coffee machine in the breakfast room was all automatic, so it wasn't considered as fresh coffee. The general manager cooked outside of the building for his dinner which doesn't seem adequate.

Loved this place. the room was so clean, there were plenty of outlets, all the lamps worked, air condition was perfect, vending machines worked and the staff was extremely friendly. Great experience and I have absolutely NO complaints.

When I needed to change my reservation I called corporate and they would not help me in any way. I called Mr. Patel and he went out of his way to help me and changed the dates on our reservation. Very clean hotel with friendly staff who always have a smile and friendly greeting. Anytime my wife and I need to stay in a hotel when visiting family in Edgewater we will definitely stay here.

Very happy with price, quality and service. Breakfast good variety hot and cold foods. Clean rooms and property quiet. Only a few miles to New Smyrna Beach at 1/2 the price of a stay there. I'd easily stay there again.

We were put in a handicap accessible room that had no place to put toiletries while bathing, shaving, etc. The exhaust fan was extremely loud. Breakfast was standard motel fare, good but not anything to brag about. Room was large and clean, well lit. TV was great but we could have used a guide to channels. Setting of the facility is outstanding with well kept grounds.

This motel is clean, quiet, and the staff are excellent. The location is very convenient and right on Route 1. The outdoor pool is private and and well maintained, (as is the whole property.) People at the front desk are helpful and know the area well. The beds are firm.

Looking for a good place to stay for an overnight trip. Was pleasantly surprised by the room decor quality. A touch of mold on shower tile, otherwise very clean and nice. Much better than other BWs I have stayed at.

stayed at the best western for one night on route to a fishing trip. The woman at the counter was friendly, the room was clean, the air-con was cold, etc. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke but other than that - my stay was fine. I would stay there again and recommend it if you are looking for a convenient place to stay while driving through.

Everything you'd expect from a budget hotel and that is not a compliment Walls are paper thin. I could hear the person in the room next to me on the phone and her voice was not raised at all. Bed was squeaky and old. Breakfast was edible, but not enjoyable. This is a place to stay when you absolutely need a place to stay, but you're better off traveling a few more miles on 95 in either direction to get to better locations.

Let me start by saying that I think there are probably decent rooms in this hotel, I just want assigned to one of them. The hotel was almost empty, but we were given a handicapped accessible room on the first floor with windows right by an exterior light that shined in the window all night long. The bathroom was not clean. In fact the toilet had urine it. The shower floor was covered with black mildew. It was only for one night. We survived, but I can't recommend it to others. On a positive note, the staff was quite friendly and professional.

JJ and his people provide a very relaxing hotel, very clean hotel and provide a quick checkin, then checkout process for the busy traveler. This hotel is also very assessable to everything in the area as well as the roads leading out of town, either I95 or US1.

Very clean and convenient for shopping and choice of restaurants in the area. Breakfast was well displayed and easy to find variety of items offered. Better than most, and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area of Florida.

Everything was clean and staff was courteous. Front desk clerk made me another key when I locked mine in my room. Property was secure and safe. I did not have the opportunity to try out the pool but it looked very nice.

Stayed here with my wife and toddler recently and really enjoyed it. The room was a pretty standard hotel room, and a bit on the dated side, but the balcony and view of the lake and mountains, and the convenience to downtown, made up for that. We really liked it here and would definitely stay again on future visits.
Everything was good. The Free breakfast is good. The pool is nice. It's just a little hard to find when getting off route #95, you need a good pms machine that don't lie to you like ours does half the time.

Overall, the location and value were fine. The hotel however offered smoking rooms and this was a problem as we were located on the floor which offered these rooms. No other non smoking rooms were available. The strong smell on our floor as well as somewhat in our room was upsetting. If you decide to visit this property and you are a non smoker, be sure to specify a non smoking room completely away from any rooms that offer smoking

Everything was as nice as going to as a much larger hotel/motel without the larger hotel/motel prices. The location was great being away from the large city exposures and expenses, food choices in the area were great, and the overall quite was great.

I chose this hotel because it is located roughly between St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center. I would not stay there again. The hallway to our non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, though the room did not. Within the shower, the grout around the tub was dark and mildew colored. The pool was not usable, too dirty. The breakfast was satisfactory and the dining area neat and clean. The exterior of the building is quite nice, but appearances can be deceiving.
