Best Western International Speedway Hotel

Arrived at the location and was great as we were at an event going on at the speedway. But that was it hotel was gruby, shower would not work correctly carpets were very dirty and staff were not to happy. And the price to stay for 2 nights was outrageous for that money I would expect something half decent. Very disappointed.

This place is huge. We got a room so far from the front desk we walked what seemed like forever. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. TV was fine, Wi-Fi good. Breakfast plentiful and lots of real choices. One morning there was so much bacon that the lid on the warmer would not close. Problem was the plumbing in shower—it needed some work. Compared to the other nine motels we stayed at on this month long trip this room had the worst tub/shower……. They should check each rooms plumbing. Last time we stayed here that particular shower was even worse.

It was under construction and repairs and still managed to be a comfortable spot because of the available outer extension, I could enjoy my stay and the love of nature at the same time be close enough to all my destinations and amenities.

Very well kept, clean, quiet hotel, the rooms and hallways are a little dated and could use some upgrades but overall we have no complaints, staff members were amazing, friendly, very helpful, would recommend!

Mold in several places even on ceiling, mildewy wet carpets in room wreaked of nasty odor, roaches roaches roaches. Just horrible. It was my birthday and I tried to stay out of the room as much as possible. The mildew odor was so bad we asked to change rooms only to have the same issue in the new room. Will not be returning here.

The overall property could use some updating. The staff were friendly. The pool looked well maintained. The included breakfast was very good, hot and cold options, fruit. They always kept up with it some never waited for hot food to come out. Our room was clean, but bathroom needs updating. The bathroom door would not stay closed and had been painted over so many times the lock didn't turn. The a/c worked great, but the heat did not.

I reported that my ac was not working and nothing was done to resolve the issue, I checked out the next morning, I wasn't offered a room change at all, No one came to fix it, I asked for a fan and was told they didn't have any

Shower does not work. Mold all over the place. Dilapidated. shower knob, not connected to the wall. Stains on the carpet floor look like a dead dead body was there. Smell terrible. Worst part of all, waking up at 4:30 in the morning to a cockroach crawling on your arm. Staff has no idea how to deal with issues.

The hotel was clean and quiet. I was not disturbed by other guests. The breakfast provided had an acceptable amount of variety. The staff was very polite and professional. I noticed they even offer snacks and drinks for purchase on site at the front desk.

This BW was perfectly fine. Totally enjoyed it. Very clean and COOL room. Great bed, slept like a log. Great cable selection. Very handy to I-95, yet there was no noise from it. Plenty of HOT water. Literally right across the street from the Speedway. Terrific hot breakfast, accommodating staff. Any restaurant you need is not far away. Would stay here again in a heartbeat when in Daytona Beach. It was an INCREDIBLE value.

Upon entering the property, there were bugs everywhere, from the reception to the bedroom and bathroom. The staff were very unhelpful in more ways than one. For instance they refused to help us with the shower, refused to call us a taxi or to give us any directions. The room we were allocated was dirty, with an unsafe and unworkable door lock. The windows were rotten with mold and the paint on the wall was cracked and flaking. The shower handle was loose and felt like it would come off on your hand so you had to be very careful about it. When we tried to contact reception, we could not and ended up walking over to ask them for help but they declined to help. The WI-Fi did not work at all so we had to use our phone data. The pool was dirty with unsafe cracks and sharp edges around it. The food was not fit enough for a dog. It was extremely basic and some of it was rotten. The photos of this property look nothing like the actual property, so there is a lot of false advertising. Overall, this hotel was extremely overpriced for what was being offered and we would not recommend this place to anyone.

Shabby, sprawling 1960's facility run by rude, disinterested manager and desk staff. Members of our group were assigned rooms too noisy for sleeping (west wing near I-95) or wreaking of cigarrette smoke. There are many pleasant, well-run hotels in Daytona. This is not one.

The first thing I noticed about this hotel was how rude the check in lady was. If you don't like customer service, find another job!! The second thing was the shower and how the whole assembly moved when you turned the water on and off, not to mention the mold in the restroom. And the mustiness of the hotel room when you first walk in. You eventually get used to the smell.

Hotel has nice huge pool, good location and good look. They serve hot breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well organized with nice decor. They are clean.Free WiFi. Unfortunately they gave me room with broken shower.

Nasty dirty run-down motel. This place needs a remodel. Someone needs to buy this place and fix it up. The hallway had a bad odor. The shower doesn't work I had to call the front desk. The bathroom needs a fresh paint job. The floor had a big black spot on the floor

The breakfast is bland and not much selection. When making a waffle, no mater how much you sprayed the iron they still stuck. We couldn't use our balcony because of a wasp nest. There were German roaches in room and hallway.

This was my 3rd time staying at this location. As previously the staff are friendly, courteous and respectful. The breakfast has a good variety and is tasty. Rooms are clean and comfortable. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the decor could use a bit of updating. Otherwise this is an excellent place to stay.

The room was very clean, smelled clean, and was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly made and very tasty. Great selection of pastries and breads. Scrambled eggs (freshly cooked, not microwaved or prepackaged), fried diced potatoes, and sausage links the day were were there. Plenty of cereal, toppings for the oatmeal yogurt too. Orange, Apple, and Cranberry juices were not watered down. Coffee and tea is available 24 hours. The staff were very helpful and polite. Great place to stay.

So we then had to ask to change rooms. Once we finally changed rooms and unpacked again plus Walmart order smh . We said let s go get a drink. Once we got back from the bar. We cut the lights on and roaches where running ever where. It is know 2:30am we are sleeping in the car!

I booked it because best western is normally good. Well that fell way below my expectations when we got to our room. Lamp was broken and couldn't even plug in, hole in the wall, and room just wasn't clean. I expected better.

Excellent hotel and convenient to restaurants and Daytona track, and 15 minutes to the beach. Plenty of breakfast choices and ample seating area. Room was comfortable and clean. We look forward to staying there again next year.

Great value. Courteous staff. Clean room. Excellent free breakfast Incredible swimming pool. Great location. Walking distance to Daytona Speedway and endless choice of restaurants and shopping. Would stay again.

Best western is an amazing hotel and will recommend to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming please to stay. we've always enjoy staying at best western in any state we visit in the United States....................

A wonderful place to stay close to everything shopping entertainment and dinning there is so much to do and this Hotel is practically in the middle of it and if you want a restful night this is the place and it is a great value for the money you won't be sorry staying here their staff is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable.

A few days at the Best Western, we weren't looking for anything too extravagant. The hallway stench was truly more than we bargained for, however. The walls were paper thin and we couldn't sleep hearing the arguments and screaming children all night. The overall vibe was dreadful.

Better then last year. We have stayed here several years just for the location. After last year we were done. It was the worst ever and we swore never again. Well, after the hurricane we went back to our old stand by because we were told it wasn't flooded. When we checked in seemed nothing had changed. Once we got to the room different story. We could see new paint on the ceiling (they missed a spot) the beds seemed newer and the carpet was cleaner. However, the shower head needs replaced because there was awesome water pressure until you turned the shower on. We were just glad we weren't upstairs. There was a squirrel living in the roof.

Don't be fooled by the pictures on other reviews. This place was very dirty very unsanitary And worst of all have actual people living in it. Definitely a hotel for construction workers. Extreme lack of maintenance and cleanliness. People sitting outside in front of the hotel all hours of the night smoking marijuana. Thank God I only booked for one night. I would have expected since it was next to Daytona International Speedway that the hotel would be respectable and cleanly place also. This place is a no way shape or form a family vacation stop.

The motel is a little dated, but was a good value for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was okay, but the only hot food was a western omelet and sausage, which were very good.

Our first and last experience at a best western hotel. The gentleman that checked us in wasn't mean but didn't tell us anything about breakfast or which way the elevator was no kind of interaction as if he was doing us a favor and I know he's knowledgeable of the hotel because he was super friendly with the previous guests ahead of us while explaining stuff to them.

I found out that this hotel only does a "Light" cleaning. The bed was not made, the shower was still wet, only a few towels were replaced. They blamed "staff shortage". How long are they going to milk this?

Checking in with Kareem was not good. Reservation was to include handicap room with roll in shower. Was told they did not have one available. Stated that I had a reservation and asked why not and was told “don't know what to tell you”. He proceeded to charge me more than what my reservation was for and got mad when I tore up the document that I had signed with the incorrect amount. He stated that “you can dispose of it then”. I never leave a bad review but felt this needed to be addressed as the person with me was fully handicapped and required a roll in shower. Have stayed here countless times but never again.

The Daytona International Speedway Best Western is the only place I stay when I visit Daytona. Hotel is clean and conveniently located to all area attractions. Having visited Daytona many times over the years and stayed at many different locations, this is now my #1 choice. Clean rooms, an excellent hot breakfast and helpful staff make this a great place to go for business or leisure.

Toilet would not flush properly, had to have maintenance twice. No chairs for our balcony after asking several times for a couple chairs so we could sit outside and enjoy Florida weather. This use to be a great place to stay

The front desk clerk went out of her way to accommodate hundreds of us who were stranded with no lodging while working restoration for Ian. We walked in with no reservations or clue as to what we needed or how long. But she was excellent and made a way for all of us to have a place to sleep

We evacuated during hurricane Ian and stayed here for 3 days. Karim Marriott was incredible and went above and beyond to ensure my daughter received the care she needed during our stay. When EMS wasn't able to get to us he took us to the nearest hospital himself. So thankful for his kindness during such a traumatic time. Truly kind humans are rare these days and Karim is definitely one of the best! Best Western is lucky to have him.

The place is fun, great location. BUT! This man, who say his name is Chris and owns multiple rooms here, and specifically mentioned 113. Had VERY inappropriate conversations with two 17 year old girls in the hot tub. Claims he in “software” and is a scuba diver and lot of other lies.

German cockroaches in room. Management could care less after 7 day stay only 1 day reimbursed. No apology after speaking to Management, card charged 2 days that wasn't mine. Took 3 calls to fix. Pool dirty, no covid cleaning done whole time was there.(7) days.. No room service. Carpet stained. Bed is size of a full.

This place was run down in many areas (the bedding was threadbare, the towels were tiny, the bedroom smelt musty, the bedroom had water stains from previous leaks etc.), but we got there late and left early so it didn't bother us too much as we didn't pay much for the room.

The lobby was nice as well as the breakfast area . The hallway to the room was musty, the carpet didn't appear to be clean. The room had cigar tobacco on the chair at the table and the room had an odor of smoke and must. This cleared some after the a/c was on for a while.

Free parking and easy to find off the highway. Close to the speedway. Walking distance to other restaurants. Rooms a bit tired but clean and air con worked which is what is needed in the heat. Did the job for the night. Breakfast ok too

Not the best of Best Westerns, too much wrong to list... (bathroom light wouldn't work, sliding glass door, street level, didn't lock, 1 roll of toilet paper, bathroom floor gross, dusty... old... no cell phone plug ins.

Comfy bed, pool is huge. Staff were friendly. A couple of maintenance issues reported (leaky shower head and dirty pool). Close to the Daytona Speedway with restaurants next door. I've stayed at multiple locations before and would stay here again.

Hotel management was very helpful. Friendly staff. Clean room. Beautiful pool. Walking distance to restaurants and some stores. New beds with very comfortable mattress. Truck parking which was very hard to find.

The staff was awesome and helped me with directions and times to go to the beach and Orlando. The front desk helped me from falling into the terror that is I-4. The breakfast wasn't good. The eggs were extremely salty and the sausage was overcooked.

I cancelled my reservation after the first night. The whole hotel smelled like stale cigarette smoke, despite being non-smoking. My room was not clean enough for my standards and I purchased sanitizing supplies to clean all the surfaces before sleep. I went to use the door nearest my room for the hotel and it was hanging by one hinge with a sign saying to use another door. I only had 3 small pillows that filled 30% of the top of the king bed and went to the lobby to carry more up for myself. There was no hot water and after waiting 30 minutes to see if it would warm up I had to take an ice cold one in the morning. I cancelled the reservation and checked out that morning.

It was trash all over the parking lot the dumpster was flam full for four days that we were there we're having to carry out her own trash the drains were stopping up from her clogging up the P-trap‘s shower wouldn't drain had to stand in a tub full of water while you're taking a shower the sliding door kept coming off the track several times the track on the sliding doors actually wore out they need to be exchanged ever so many years if somebody's going to open and close the door constantly are still going in and out of the hallway basically it

The Best Western International Speedway was clean and the breakfast was great. Check in and check out were a breeze. I would stay here again when in the Daytona area whether passing through or visiting.

We have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion for school competitions close by. The service is very good. The hotel is very clean and close to the venues we have been to. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The breakfast is very good and has the hot and cold options. The price of our stay was reasonable and didn't break the bank.

Second time staying at the BW near the Speedway for Bike Week. Great location, super friendly staff that really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, love the balconies and porches on the rooms. Lots of parking. Great breakfast each morning. Only complaint would be, like many properties in this price range, the rooms are fairly beat up and could use a little better cleaning. My buddies and I were fine with it, but agreed our wives/girlfriends may have not been very impressed. Will definitely stay here again.

Our friend's room was broken into during our stay. The General manager did nothing while we were there nor would he even speak to us. We found out there are no cameras aiming at the back of the facility except at the pool. He contacted us after our stay and even then only minimal actions were taken. We had roaches in our room and were just simply told sorry. The staff working the desk were rude and extremely unprofessional. We definitely will not stay at this location again.

Stayed during bike week. The price was three times what we normally pay for the room. The sink clogged the first time we used it. The shower went from burning hot to cold without notice. There were hairs from previous guests in the bathroom. But the most concerning was that access to our room was given to another guest! Two men came into the room at around 2 am having been given a key to our room! The positives were the friendly staff, very welcoming and the breakfast was pretty good. Better than most we've had at previous hotels.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel and rooms were very clean and nice. The front desk check in was quick and easy and there was plenty of parking. The next time I'm in Daytona Beach I'll be staying here.

The lobby and breakfast (breakfast ok) areas have been updated, they were clean and staff friendly. Room was old, mold in bathroom, sliding door to patio was very hard to open. Original lock didn't work a metal hook held the door shut, Sittinhg area and chairs on patio covered in cigarette ashes and butts. Rugs ripped and coming up in hallways.. Do NOT STAY HERE UNLESS A COMPLETE RENOVATION HAS HAPPENED!

Our weekend adventure was good, close to the I 95 interstate, speedway and restaurants. We live on the west coast of FL and love the east coast options in Daytona. The breakfast was great and thankful for the friendly staff at our check in. Older property and thankful for the comfy bed.

Best hospitality received in years. And the owner remembered us after staying one night a few weeks ago. Very lovely atmosphere and staff. Amazing breakfast, very accommodating staff. Can't praise enough how sweet and lovely the franchise owner was. Absolute doll.

Nice staff, but the room was so dated and needed renovations. The room was constantly damp because the AC cooled but did not remove mosture from the air in spite of the warm weather. The bedding was uncomfortable. Felt like plastic under a mattress cover. The tub and sink were slow draining. Good shower, but standing water. The sink was very low, top of my thighs and I'm 5'7". Bath ventilation was working, but useless. Furniture was 15 years old and spartan. There was an electrical outlet on each side lamp table. Slider to balcony needed to be lifted to get it to lock. Breakfast items are very basic and limited. We've been spoiled by much better Best Westerns over the past couple of years.

I select this hotel because of the amenities (parking,breakfast,pool) but our surprise was the location.Close to everything and the beach just some minutes, walking distance to shopping and some restaurants.The hotel is clean ,spacious and has comfy beds,to have good sleep Besides that front desk and employees are helpful and very kind people,For sure one of the best places to visit Daytona beach

We were coming to Daytona for the car show and wanted to stay close to the track. I saw there was a Best Western right at it so I chose it and wasn't disappointed. I always stay at BW when available because I think it's the best hotel for the money and it's always clean and neat.

At the front desk and the whole staff were very accommodating a great value for your daughter and they were glad that you were there and invited you back when you left and we look forward to returning soon

The hotel was very clean. Our room was neat and well stocked. We had in room coffee maker and frig. We had a patio and i think upper floors had balconies.the breakfast was a nice assortment of hot & cold items. There is an outside pool and workout room. The staff was super friendly and lots of restaurants close by.

While our stay wasn't 100% terrible, I will definitely do more research before coming back to visit Daytona. First off, when checking in, it was very apparent that the desk clerk did not like her job. She did not interact with us in any way other than asking us the basic questions to get us checked in. I had to ask her where the elevators where, what time breakfast was etc. We finally got to our room, and I say finally because I swear she put us the farthest away from the elevator possible, and immediately noticed the strong stench of weed in the hallway of our non-smoking hotel. You cannot tell me that someone working there can't smell it when walking the halls. The room itself is decent but there could be more seating. The first morning I had to go ask about the shower. I don't know much about showers but I do feel like if the shower isn't a normal turn the knob and the water comes on, you should probably have something posted in the room. You have to pull the handles out from the wall to turn on the water! The front desk lady said, "do I need to show you how to take a shower?" Wow! Again, the weed smell continued to be an issue but we decided we would just deal with it as long as it wasn't starting to come into our room. The breakfast leaves alot to be desired. Eggs and sasauge each morning (we stayed 5 nights) with cereal, yogurt, toast, plain oatmeal and grits (no brown sugar, raisins etc.). All in all, I feel like you will have a far better experience and that it would be worth the extra money to stay by the beach.

Our stay at this Best Western was ok. The carpet needs to be replaced as the smell made the room “feel” dirty. The ac/heating unit in the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable so we did get a good nights rest.

Room is big but I wouldn't recommend to spend the night in this one in particular, #162, until the room is repaired. I couldn't sleep in the whole night due to the AC leaking and that constant drop falling down all night long, was like the tickling of a clock. Also, the ceiling needs repair and painting. You can observe water stains from previous leaks and smell the mold.

Use to be a great place to stay. Was not very clean and the bottom of the pool is very nasty. They can do better!! Had no tv remote, no microwave in room you have to share one in the lobby with the entire hotel.

I had to ask on three different occasions and three different days before finally getting a response. Broken or damaged items in room were not fixed correctly. One of the broken things ( electrical outlet) was not fixed at all.

Horrible experience with staff. Broken rooms and roaches. They took forever to come fix rooms and never really fixed it. Staff had an attitude except for one. I would not recommend to anyone. Beds where hard to sleep on.

The whole hotel smells. There wasn't a remote for the tv. The pool area was nasty with beer cans and cigarette butts. Some of the guest looked very questionable. We went to the store and bought linen.

Front desk staff was nice. After that it went downhill. Towel bar fell off wall due to aged drywall, fridge leaked, cigarette butts all over balcony, killed bugs in bathroom, garbage laying all over the grounds. Definitely would not stay there again.

Malfunctioning equipment resulted in personal injury. Dirty, noisy, stinky. People smoking in the rooms and management did nothing about it! If you make your reservation on line, be careful and ready for a scam! You get one rate for the room and end up with something else!!! Our room was facing the noisy speedway and we were unable to sleep due to the noise.

We booked Best Western after checking out of a horrible experience at another hotel. Best Western gave us better rates and had better amenities. We were 3 females traveling and this location was safe, quiet, surrounded by plenty of stores and restaurants.

Right at I-95 and International Speedway, friendly, efficient staff, beside Miller's Ale House and sufficient breakfast taking into consideration Covid-19. I would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

The hotel is older, but could definitely use a deep clean. Our bed was hard, not firm and very uncomfortable. The toilet seat was broken and the tub needed cleaning and stopper was also broken. I was very disappointed. I could believe it has the Best Western name. I'm a rewards member and would not recommend this one.

Great staff super sweet and friendly. This is a sketchy hotel to be a lady by yourself. People around outside not to sure about. It was dirty in the bathroom and old. The one thing that was the worse is it reeked of smoke. Seriously bad. I wouldn't want to stay again.

Wife and I really loved staying here. It has easy access off the highway. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They have a great pool. Easy to leave and head onto International Speedway Blvd. to head to the beach or other destinations. The staff was very friendly and great assistance.

There were definitely some pros and cons during our stay at this hotel. Pros: great customer service, gigantic Olympic pool, nice breakfast that consisted of eggs, biscuits & gravy, fruit, juice , sausage and a few other options. Cons: roaches/bugs in room . Due to the bugs, I probably would not return. Overall, I feel like the hotel offers great rates, has great customer (which is hard to find) but the hotel itself needs to be updated and get a pest control guy out to get rid of the bugs. My family and I did not complain because after I discovered the bugs I read more through the reviews and saw that others had the same issue. The hotel could have easily given us another room and we could have had the same issue. A lot of hotels were already sold out so we decided to stay. Overall, I am thankful for our stay and the friendly staff, but disappointed about the roaches.

rooms are ok clean no bugs that we saw breakfast too late 8am and stayed 5 nites then weekend rates double makes no sense same dirty room been in all week no room service wouldnt mind that but dont raise rates when have been their all week

Room was ok but we had bugs, not bed bugs but dead bugs, all night long people coming and going also they spike the price up higher for this type of hotel. Hate everything but the customer service ; we would never and I mean never stay here again!!!! Rooms need to be in better condition and the carpet and stairs were dirty

property needs a renovation and staff that cares i ck'd in on weds nite there was a bag of trash in the hall and when i ck'd out on thurs IT WAS STILL THERE NOBODY EVEN BOTHERED TO PICK IT UP !!!!!!!!

My husband and I booked this hotel, as we had tickets to the Daytona 500. Unfortunately, yesterday we were advised our Daytona 500 tickets were canceled because they were spacing groups due to covid19, and they no longer had room for us. When I went to cancel the hotel reservation, I realized the last day to cancel hotel was 1/12/21. I contacted BW customer service to explain the situation, and they relayed information to hotel manager. We just found out today that they would cancel reservation without penalty. I just wanted to thank them for the great customer service, and hopefully we can stay there next year for the 2022 Daytona 500.

The breakfast was great and the staff is amazing! They have reasonable rates and I love staying here ! It's in a great location and the rooms are always clean and they have nice soft sheets and great beds !

Terrible place to stay..Bugs in the shower, mold and dirt top of the shower.. Room and hallway smells.. The back entrance door doesn't lock so anyone can walk in..Hole s in the walls, patch work on the ceiling.. I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to my worst enemy..

The room could have been cleaner. There was "particles" on the nightstand that we have no idea what it was so nothing was set on there. Someone was yelling around midnight throwing the "F word" at his family which woke us. Not a pleasant experience

Suggest you seriously consider staying elsewhere. This particular BW is below the BW standard I have had elsewhere. I travel from east coast to west coast and this is one of the less desirable. Definitely effected by Covid scare but that is no reason to lower cleaning and preventive maintenance standards. I enjoy BW its this one specifically that I would not recommend. Staff for the most part were not friendly and night staff was not available - outside smoking.

Stayed there for 3 days. On the first day they “accidentally” charged my card $147 when trying to charge someone else's card.. they said it would be refunded so I said okay. But then the next day they AGAIN accidentally charged my card $172!!! Pure stupidity!! I will NEVER stay there again. My money is still not back in my account after a full week!! and when I called to discuss it with them today they HUNG UP ON ME! Please, please, NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

huge hotel but just plain old. Not Best Western quality, pot smoke everywhere, got high walking down the halls. Very noisy, heard conversations from other guests when leaving/coming to my room. Thought someone was using my shower when it was room next door

We stayed two nights here while waiting to meet friends. Chose this hotel as the price was very good and the location was perfect. It is a large two story hotel. The property was nice, The room was clean and nicely furnished. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast as it had lots of selection with both hot and cold choices.

This review is for the Best Western on international drive in Daytona Beach. the front desk assistant was very friendly on check:in and worked hard to get us the perfect room. we informed the room attendants that we prefer not to have our room serviced for our 6 night stay and they were very accommodating... they gave us extra towels, tissues or shampoos etc. upon asking for them. the location is perfect, near the interstate and also within walking distance of many great restaurants. we discovered B.J's brew-house which has a huge menu and very good food. if you go there between 5-7 and sit in the bar area, appetizers are 1/2 off + beer specials. This place has a very nice hot breakfast area ,which is kept stocked and clean,. we found the room very clean and spacious.yes it could use some updating and for us that did not matter. we paid a very fair price, until bike week kicked in and the room went up $100.00 per night. the bathroom has a shower and tub with very good water pressure and no lack of hot water and I mean hot so be careful. our room had a small fridge, coffee maker and desk for using the computer with good WiFi speed. 2 decent size night stands with a drawer and more room underneath for personal items and a light with plugs for charging your phone. the bed was decent firmness ( I slept very well) and the linens were very clean and smelled clean. the rug could use some cleaning and to honest it was cleaner than most hotels at this price, heck cleaner than some we have stayed at for much more money. one of my favorite benefits of having a downstairs room, facing the parking lot, was the sliding glass door which allowed easy access to our motorcycles. we will definitely be staying here again

Dirty Room. Broken toilet and light in bathroom. Broken back entry door for the whole week. Had to walk 3 minutes around building every time to get to back rooms. Sound proof.. there is none. Told no more rooms I'm out of luck while she was on FaceTime. Food is TERRIBLE!!!

Our basketball team was in the area for state play-offs. The staff were great all the way from the reservation process to check-out. The staff accommodated several requests by our team so they could focus on their games. They are State Champs! Thank you to all the staff at Best Western International Speedway Hotel. If we ever have games in the area again, this hotel will be our first choice!

Room was very clean and in good shape for an older hotel. The shower was worth the cost of the room! I would stay here again! Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful and the included breakfast had something for just about any taste.

Hotel receptionist made us very welcome also obliged us with a room on level one which is very handy for seniors. Lobby nice . Breakfast room good and breakfast good Quality and coffe hot and orange juice good. Rooms well presented and clean and the room we had two chairs and a small table which was handy also coffee machine. Bathroom good and clean. Swimming pool large and well kept. The basics were there, but as another reviewer phrased it, the hotel looks tired and worn. The bathroom fixtures barely worked and bathroom cleaning of the floors could be better. The buffet fare was heavily processed and packaged food. Bed mattress could use a replacement. I guess I got what I paid for. Near the speedway if that is where you're going, I was not. We were on a campus visit to Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University

The hotel seemed very dated, the rooms looked tired, bathroom fittings seemed to be just there, damp marks all over. It was clean but facilities not what we are used to. Breakfast nothing fancy just what we expect of BW, no complaints there.

This is a nice motel in Daytona Beach. It is close to the race track, airport and I-95. The staff is super nice, the pool is huge, the breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. It isn't quite as nice as some of the beachfront Best Westerns (like the Best Western Aku Tiki, which is superb) but it's also quite a bit cheaper than staying on the beach.

Came here for an intimate stay 2 nights, I am a local In Daytona but wanted a " getaway" with my significant other... Having stayed here several years ago when Indigo Lakes Golf course was open, it was in great condition with no problems like it has now... But when I entered the hotel, I immediately was displeased by the STRONG damp like dirty carpet odor in the hallways ... this is on the 1st floor as my unit was on 1st floor... I'm writing this publicly, as maybe management needs to address their property here... With all respect, working for BW for over 2 years I love the company and most of the hotels, but was disappointed when i was hit by that foul odor, and is not something you miss when you walk down the halls.... Then in the room, you can tell, Housekeeping MGMT doesn't check their units for cleanliness routinely, as on the bathtub there is a huge rust spot that seems its been there for quite some time... along with dust on the fan they have in the bathroom, quite nasty..... the carpet was skeptical inside the room too, as it was sort of " wet".... that's common for Oceanfront direct units, but not so common for mainland units.... just has a nasty feeling to it.... Overall, I'd rather stay at another BW location....

This was the best BW property we have been to yet!!! Friendly staff. Modern decor. Comfortable rooms. It was just all round perfect!!! Thank you so much!!!It was our first time in this area and it was very memorable because of BW.

Don't waste your time or your money on this dump!!! The service and accommodations were terrible and although the location was premium it needs a multimillion dollar renovation along with a clean sweep of the staff!!!

Good place for the price clean room Just an overnight stop for us but all was well. The continental breakfast was good, eating area was clean. I have nothing bad to say about the place I'm just trying to add words now because I can't leave a simple worded review under 200 characters.

We came to Daytona Beach for the Turkey Run car show. Saw this hotel and booked it. We are not disappointed. The staff are awesome and accommodating. The breakfast is actually breakfast....eggs, sausage, ham, bacon, waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal and grits. The room is very comfortable. The bed is nice, it's a mix of soft and firm. You cannot hear the interstate traffic unless your balcony door is open. We have quiet neighbors. We will be returning to this location in the future.

This was an awesome visit. Lisa had the rooms setup for us to have adjoining rooms so that the family could stay together; great pool view. We love to visit this hotel, very relaxed atmosphere, staff very friendly. Thank you so much !!!

We stopped here for an overnight on our way south. All we wanted was a decent night's sleep in a hotel close to I-95. I asked for a quiet room. We were assigned to a room facing I-95 and we heard the trucks passing all night. Pus, the security door, to the parking area, had an issue. It was supposed to be unlocked with the room card, but the lock was broken. Anybody could walk in. Two minor issues with the room. When I expressed my concerns, all I got was "sorry". I suggest you select a different hotel.

Continental breakfast is amazing. Not just your ordinary choices of hot beverages, granola bars and store bought pastries but a full selection of breakfast fare with a make your own waffle area. Location is perfect and very central.

I have spent 7 weeks off and on at this hotel with my employees, getting up to 6 rooms at a time. I have to say that the staff has been excellent, the rooms are always clean and the fact that we can get a great hot breakfast before heading off to work, is a plus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who asks.

A little dated but beautiful pool, clean. Okay for a short stay close to beach and activities. Not a real vacation type hotel. Strictly functional. Near Embry Riddle University for visiting and Speedway.

Pros? The price is more than reasonable, all rooms have balconies and the usual towels/soaps. Wi-Fi is good, and they have a HUGE breakfast buffet. Cons? Other than the door sticking, I can't think of any issues.

The hotel was fantastic and the restaurants around the hotel were very close. You can even walk to two or three restaurants. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was wide encompassing with many selections.

From beginning to end the service was excellent. The staff that checked us in was unbelievably awesome. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel 9 in a scale of 10.

Our stay was great we enjoyed the breakfast,the room was clean and everything worked well in our room.also the front desk staff vinny was very nice to us upon check in.the only thing the room could of had was a microwave it would of been more convenient because we had food stored in the refrigerator,other than that we would definitely stay there again.

Check in is quick and easy. Hotel reps are attentive and informative. Hotel room has double locks and the slidind doors lock to. Breakfast is kind of standard for hotels, but the enviroment is safe and well lit. Hotel staff helped us stay safe since we were travelling from WV to FL.

Best feature of this hotel location was that we did not need to rent a car. Cab from airport then we were able to walk to stores, restaurants and the Daytona International Speedway. The hotel is a bit tired in appearance but the friendly and helpful staff made for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was very good in terms of selection and freshness, though the busy race weekend crowd made for a messy atmosphere. Wonderful Olympic sized pool unusual for any hotel.

Was every welcoming. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Got check in without any problem. The breakfast was good and hot and a lot to choose from. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The shuttle to the Race Track was on time and clean.

This hotel had surprisingly good reviews so we decided to give it a try, I've stayed at Best Westerns before and have always had a great experience. I really don't expect much out of a hotel, just a clean, safe place to sleep. We got there and checked in pulled around to the rear where our room was, the hallways were dark and dingy, got into the room and it smelled so strongly of mold. It was also dark, the bathroom was outdated and not very clean. (This may be speculation but there appeared to be a prostitute hanging out outside one of the rooms, the high heals, knee high black stockings, booty shorts, and crop top led me to assumptions.) Anyway we went and told the girl up front what was going on with the room and how I'm allergic to mold spores and she was so sweet and gave us a full refund, and was very apologetic. We went in down the road and stayed at a Hilton.

Location was good and room was clean. Didn't get to visit the pool, but it looked nice. Breakfast was good. Hotel was close to Embry Riddle University and a short drive to the beach. Price was a little high on Friday night due to the race.

Had issues with lighting in the bathroom, bugs in the bathroom and hallway and possibly bed bugs. That side of the building was by the interstate/road construction so it was loud. The morning we were leaving a lawnmower/weed eater woke us up 2 hours before we needed to get up.

Best Western is a good value, comfortable hotel with nice hot breakfast. This particular one is convenient to I95 and the business location I need to get to. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who has pleasure or business trip in the Daytona Beach area.

Hotel smelled of musk and smoke. Dusty and dirty. Moldy ac units and just over all gross and dirty. Our ac unit most likely had mold. Also not family hotel. Parties drunks driving like idiots loud music!!

Check in was a little slow, but mainly due to the other guest. This is a very busy and large hotel. For the money it is a solid deal. Internet speed was good and the complimentary breakfast was well stocked and had a lot of variety.

Beautiful pool. Room had a slight room freshener smell. Noise of rt.95 and airplanes made it a bit difficult to sleep. Bathroom fan noisy. Bed was comfortable. Property is dated and needs updating. We're not in a hurry to stop here again.

The hotel was nice. The free breakfast was standard, but they made sure everything was full the whole time. The room was also spacious and the beds were nice. The only issue was the AC unit smelled bad in our room.

I have stayed at this particular property several times over the last couple of months. Outside is always very clean. Guest rooms has always been very clean and room is very spacious with extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Staff has always been very kind and welcoming. Have stayed at other hotels in this area and the Best Western International has by far been the best so far.

If you don't care about cleanliness and just need a place for the night, then this BW might be ok. The staff was helpful and kind; however, the motel is in much need of renovations/updating. If you are a clean freak, stay somewhere else.

Clean, efficient, easy access, good food within walking distance, and a well lit lot with regular police patrols contribute to secure parking. Location is easy to find and convenient to the raceway and I-95.

This property is in a great location with easy access from I-95 and very close to speedway. Wak to restaurant and stores. Property is clean and has a very good staff. Rooms and baths well cleaned. Good A/C. Hotel is not new but well kept.

Clean but could use a little touch up here and there. The price was fair. The room was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Has free parking and free breakfast. Breakfast not alot to brag about but was ok. Make your own waffles were good.

Went for races. Staff is helpful. Expensive for races but right at the track. Had to pay for Sunday parking, that was new and not cool after paying to stay. Would book again for races if we stay in Daytona.

Saturday Feb 22, 2019. The first room we were in, the TV didn't work at all. Moved to another room. The bathroom light doesn't work in this room, and there is an odor. So, I'm going to declare this place something of a dump. Definitely not up to par. I'll have a last look around, and never come back, probably never trust in a best western again.

We came in for the nascar duel race, able to walk to the track. It was about a 30 minute walk. Close to restaurants, shops, everything we needed. The staff was nice, easy check in and out. The room was clean. The grounds are nice with a clean big pool and tennis courts. Parking was free and easy. We will stay here again.

Staff was pleasant but the room was damp and musty as well as run down. We then tried to use the shower and because of the way the room is designed, it flooded out of the bathroom and onto the carpet. It was gross and felt very dirty. Super disappointing for a Best Western. Would not recommend.

This location charges 100 dollars to check in. I had prepaid for the room before I arrived. When I asked about the charge, I was told rudely by the front desk , "well you better figure it out before we check you in." Another front desk person told me, "I don't care what you have planned, we charge 100 dollars and there is nothing I can do about it!" I told the lady at the front desk, let me check my bank account. I didn't have as much funds in my account as I thought. I recently had to help my Dad that is dying financially so, my account was lower than usual. I know the front desk and hotel doesn't care about my situation but being rude to a person did not need to be shown. I never once said, I can't pay it, I only asked about the amount of the deposit. A friendly greeting and a smile could make a big difference to customers.

My husband and I booked this last minute while traveling through Florida. Although the hotel is a bit dated, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had very good options. There is a restaurant / bar right next door, and a large pool on site. I would stay here again.

Overnighted here en route to Miami, FL for a cruise. Stayed here before and really enjoyed it. Large hotel with balconies and a very large pool. Hotel is clean, room size was large and our room was well maintained. Staff was very polite, internet was fast and breakfast was very good. Near a huge flea market, shopping, many, many restaurants and Daytona International Speedway is right down the road. Would highly recommend.

Only stayed 2 days. The hotel was clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was good. Near everthing, but away from the beachside crowds. Will stay again. Just a little construction on the west side. Not loud at all. Right by 30+ stores and a nice mall. Yes I said mall. Have fun,beach is only about 6 miles.

I had to make hurried plans to get to Port Orange because of a family emergency. Not knowing the area but having trusted BW for travel in the past I was happy to find this BW Speedway, its location and fair pricing caught my attention first. I and the family were not disappointed. The bonus was finding and spending a number of hours in the fabulous pool. It was a good stay and I would come back.

Very nice hotel, great pool. Extremely large with fountains. Beautifully landscaped. Very friendly hard working people who just go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you love to swim, you have got to see this pool. Its amazing!

Good value for the money. Very convenient location (restaurants , stores, beach, etc...) . The pool was clean and large enough for many people. Breakfast was good and included hot and cold menu items.

Arriving at the hotel receptionist was very nice and helpful. hotel is clean and has a very nice smell to it. The room was clean but the barroom was a mess. BALCONY CHAIRS WERE DIRTY AND WET . BATHROOM TUB HAD RUST AND MOLD ON THE TITLE. I would recommend the hotel but check bathrooms before hand.

We decided on an impromptu trip to tour the Speedway with grandchildren so I booked here just the night before. We had an awesome stay! The front desk staff was above and beyond courteous, professional, and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and inviting. After getting settled, we found a plumbing glitch in our bathroom but did not want to change rooms. After reportingt to the front desk, maintenance was in our room in 20 minutes and had it fixed in 30. The pool is spectacular! Sparkling clean and spacious-the largest one I've ever encountered at a hotel. We spent 3 hours and it was still hard to get the kids out! Breakfast was wonderful. Looking forward to staying here next time. I highly recommend.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was quite roomie. It had a fridge and a table with 2 chairs in it. We stayed on the bottom floor which had a sliding glass door. It opened up to a porch area that also had 2 chairs. Very close to a lot of restaurants.They also have a very large swimming pool. A great stay!

We stayed here just one night while visiting some friends and had a very pleasant experience. There is nothing incredibly special about the place, but it is well-maintained and exactly what you'd expect from this level of hotel. The lobby is a nice space, and the rooms are decently-sized and comfortable. There are nice, big fridges in the rooms and a community microwave in the lobby. The breakfast is pretty good, with hot items such as eggs, sausage, waffles, etc., as well as the typical continental breakfast types of things. We were eating breakfast on a Sunday morning at 9:30, so it was very crowded and a bit hard to maneuver through, but they actually have a good amount of space for sitting and eating. I was most impressed with the pool. It's the biggest and nicest hotel pool I have ever experienced outside of big resort type places. It's a really nice space, and I wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. Overall, this was a good experience and a great location - just off I-95, only minutes from the Speedway, and a whole bunch of restaurants within walking distance.

We've been coming here for a few years. Rooms are always very clean, breakfast is always delish, and the front desk is always friendly. The pool is huge and clean, with plenty of loungers, and also tables with umbrellas. If there has ever been an issue with the room, it was remedied immediately. We will be back again very soon!

I only stayed one night, but definitely will stay again. Very nice and easy access to alot of restaurants and speedway, not too far from beach and other attractions. Great large pool, extremely large pool.

I was a little apprehensive about staying somewhere I had not stayed before but the other reviews were good. Once pulling up and going inside to register I was amazed at how clean everything was and how great my experience with the front desk clerk was. Staff was friendly ,room was clean and the breakfast was more than I expected. My 3 day stay was great and I will recommend this hotel and will stay there again. Oh and the room rates were great too.

A group of us checked into the motel On July 13, 2018. We were insulted by the front desk. We made reservations April 19, 2018.Overall we felt like we were not welcome at this establishment. Place is a dump! Approached by drug dealers twice. Tires on our dune buggy trailer, air let out. Condoms on tires. Rooms smelled of smoke. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Will never let anyone in our organization stay here.

The Room was amazingly big! I was surprised, even though we only stayed that 1 night since we were catching an early flight the next day. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful where things were.

Although we only stayed one night, it was enjoyable. Leona at the front desk was very attentive, courteous and helpful. Really can't say enough about her, in my opinion, a valuable employee, particularly in the hospitality industry. The facilities could possibly be spruced up a little bit, but the pool area and courtyard area were immaculate and very enjoyable. As a smoker, it was nice to have the ability to just walk out of the sliding door from my room into the courtyard and have a cigarette instead of going thru the usual rigmarole of finding an outdoor smoking area.

This is a great hotel and affordable when you need to be close to the Speedway. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stay here each year for an annual event that we support. We have stayed here for the past 4 years and will return again.

We got off a cruise in Jacksonville and wanted to explore Daytona, they were offering a good deal so I booked. NEVER AGAIN! The sliding glass door was off the track, so my husband fixed it to keep bugs and unknown humans from entering the room. The bedding and pillows were shabby at best, and the bathroom was grungy and smelled horrible. Th breakfast in the morning was fine, nice to have in a pinch. My biggest problem is that despite the fact that I prepaid for the room, the $25 hold for incidentals was actually charged to my card. Of course they say it's an accident, but I have to wonder how many ‘accidents' they have each year. Best of all, no one seems to know how to fix it. I'm steaming mad!

The employees were awesome especially the manager Lisa. My wife and I had a HUGE problem when we checked in and Lisa took care of it immediately! The room was great, tv was nice and the breakfast was wonderful!

I think the check in process could have been nicer after driving three hours to get there. We had reservations months in advance, first he could not find it, I understand sometimes it takes a minute. He found it then asked for a credit card. I said

The location of this hotel was great. Near shopping, restaurants, etc. About 1 km from the Speedway. Right at I 4/I 95 junction. The breakfast provided was excellent. I have not seen a breakfast room so attentively stocked with hot foods at another hotel. The containers for food on the breakfast bar were kept full right up to the end of the announced breakfast period. The front desk reception was OK. Later I asked there if we could get 2 additional pillows. The response was "no sir". Then I was told that we could get 1 but the other 2 had already been spoken for.? The room amenities, surface finishes (multiple cracks in the sink), were not up to BW standards, in my view, even though the physical room size was fine, much was empty space. There was no microwave in the room. The carpeting looked "tired" and could use a good cleaning. I might consider staying here again, but some of these issues need to be addressed. The breakfast experience was outstanding.

This hotel provided a bit of a mixed bag. The check-in staff was friendly and efficient but spoke softly so I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. My key didn't seem to open the outside security door, but when I gave it a yank it opened anyway - you could see the lock mechanism was damaged. When I went back to my car for something I could push it open without using the door bar. The inside hallway had a sour musty smell, but my room did not, thankfully. The room was spacious and neat bt I could not turn the bathroom light off - the switch had no effect which made me worry there might be a wiring problem. Breakfast was well stocked but simple with pre-made egg disks. The sausage was good, though.

We had a great room that had a lot of space and a balcony. Tried the pool just barely as unfortunately it was too cold but was too nice to completely pass up!! Breakfast was great for a hotel and was amazed at all the little fixings! If we are ever in Daytona again we will definitely stay here!! During our week of holidays in Florida, this was our favourite place, and we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Orlando!!

I give this hotel a thumbs up for the price and location but make sure your sheets are clean - found a long hair in one of the beds and we both have short hair - yikes! With this one exception everything else was good for the value and we would stay here on future trips.

We've been on an extended trip, staying at several Best Western Hotels & this was our least favorite. Although it is centrally located & easy to find, the minuses outweigh the pluses. The rooms need updated, the wifi is terrible, the breakfast buffet is way below average & there's cigarette butts all over the grassy areas. To top things off, we were staying on BW's Reward Points, which apparently the front desk crew doesn't really understand(?)...it's not that tough kids, read your manual ! Took forever to check in, including 2 additional trips to the lobby & 2 phone calls to our room.

April 2018 was our 2nd stay at the Best Western International Speedway. It won't be our last. It's convenient, clean, friendly and affordable. There are restaurants within walking distance, the rooms are clean, and the staff there is genuine and friendly. We travel with an ESA dog, and the staff at this hotel was helpful, understanding and friendly about our needs. I cannot say enough good things about everyone at this hotel. As I said, we will definitely be back.

Overall, this hotel was ok. The pool is awesome, and it's a good location. We stayed here as a last minute trip, it was one of the few hotels still available. I went off of the reviews saying it was clean in making my choice. Although our room smelled fine, the hallway was musty and the exterior side door didn't have a lock (that would typically lock at night for safety). The bedding was essentially sheets layered on top of each other, which wasn't very warm. I found the bathroom to not be as clean as I would like. It wasn't horrible, but wasn't clean behind the toilet and there was someone else's hair on the ceiling. Overall it was a decent value, but I would look elsewhere next time.

Yes, the hotel needed some updating, but overall was a good place to stay! We had a balcony view of the pool, which was great! The pool was awesome, it was a great plus for our vacation. The only issue I really had was a stopped up sink, I left a note for the housekeeper and she took care of it right away! Also, the elevator smells horrible! Please put an automatic refresher in there! It was bad! Other than that, we had a great time!!! Would visit again!

This hotel is located near the Daytona International Speedway. There is ample parking and a large outdoor swimming pool. We stayed for 3 nights during bike week. The room was comfortable, clean and had new furniture in it. There is always coffeee available in the lobby. A plus!!

Room adequate but overall very "tired" in decor, needs a lot of refurbishing, bathroom fixtures rusty, shower wall cracked and poorly repaired. Clean but several things not in good working order--toilet leaked when flushing, refrig door seal not intact--caused ice to melt and leak on floor, TV remote would not control TV, bed linens thin and "well worn". Biggest problem for us was that we needed handicap-which we got--but it ( and all other handicap rooms) were in the very farthest corridors from the lobby, breakfast room etc. On the good side--parking was ample and convenient. We did not feel that this place met the "BW Plus" classification.

Comfy, clean room. Great location for our event at Daytona Speedway. BW staff was courteous and professional. They seemed genuinely interested in making our stay pleasant. They were terrific to our Wagon Fest peeps. We'll be back next year.

Was booked there from March 5th to the 19th. Front desk clerk upon check in initially claimed I didn't have a room there, later realized it was under a shortened version of my own name (Think Michael and it was under Mike) with the same last name. Got to my room, it was clean and well kept. Great location. After being there for a few weeks, something happened and the room under my name was switched to someone else. My Girlfriend went to the front desk to ask why her key wasn't working (she was on the register), was told that I wasn't a guest there (even though she stayed in my room) and that the room was under someone else. The front desk guy (same that helped me my first night) was rude to her and refused to talk to me. I believe his name is Michael or David, my work got things straightened out and around this same time he checked someone else into an occupied room in our block (that wasn't part of our block), the guests came down claiming that there were items in their room (236) and wanted to know what was going on. I was told he was rude to them as well. Great place, great price, but next work trip I will be looking for a new place. Not worth the headache or hassle. Oh and it was great that on Friday the 16th, the people in the room next to mine, set off the smoke detector due to their constant post smoking. You could get a contact high just standing in the hallway.

I booked one room with Two Double Beds, Non-Smoking. This hotel is great value for family traveler and very good location to go to Daytona beach. Breakfast was also good. I didn't use a pool because of temperature, but it looks good. I will be in there again.

Just stayed here as a overnight stay off the highway cause I had a family emergency. Well, I was sneezing a lot. Too much mildew smell, dust or mold. I don't know but it smelled moldy. Needs new carpets or tile put down. Bathroom needs a DEEP clean. Tub area very spotted ... the bed was not the greatest and walls thin. Breakfast was not that great. Watery eggs and microwave sausages. The fan was nice and having a door. Haha. Otherwise not again smelled too bad. Not even like pictures.

Chose this hotel due to rate and location and we weren't disappointed. Very friendly staff and breakfast was the usual offerings and met our needs. Outstanding location close to many restaurants and within walking distance to the speedway. Shower didn't work the greatest but the room was clean. Would stay here again

When we checked in we were greeted by Barbara who was very engaging and met all our requests promptly. we asked for a room upstairs overlooking the beautiful pool. She accommodated. We asked for extra blankets which were delivered within a few minutes of our requests. Rooms are spacious, clean(bathroom could use a little extra scrub) non smoking, fresh smelling and quiet. We were there to run the Daytona Beach 1/2 Marathon and they even extended the late check policy to accommodate our check out. Even though we didn't have time to enjoy the continental breakfast we did see how yummy it looked including, eyes, ham, waffles, muffins, cold cereal juice and more!...yes included in the very reasonable price for our one night stay. But what it all comes back to our great experience was Barbara and her excellent customer service.

This is a terrible hotel. But what made it unbelievably bad is that THEY GAVE SOMEONE THE KEY TO MY ROOM AND THAT GUEST CAME INTO MY ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!! That's a good way to have someone seriously injured. It's also very very scary. And the front desk DIDN'T APOLOGIZE. It was mind-boggling. Also the beds are awful. But don't stay here. Do yourself a favor.

I slept fine, but the outside door needed fixing because the key did not open the back door. I was given a room near the back of the hotel. So I ended up walking around to the front lobby to get to my room. Way too much walking after a full day of activity. I stayed here two nights. Next to I-95 and close to where I needed to be.

This is a great hotel at a very reasonable price. It's clean the staff is very friendly. It's close to everything you could possibly need. Any issues you have are taken care of immediately! They are starting some renovations, but we weren't disturbed at all by them!

Immediately off 95 with many many close restaurants to chose from. Check in was friendly and quick in a nice large lobby. Breakfast area a bit crowded if you happen to hit a very busy time or a rainy day as we did. Entire hotel seemed very clean and looked after. We did not check out the pool area however. Our first floor king room was large and also very clean. Our only complaint and the reason for the low rating was the very very hot beds! Their mattresses are completely encased in a zippered plastic bag and even with a cotton pad covering it, it was extremely hot to sleep on. I did speak to someone in charge when we left and he said he would look into it as no one else has complained about it. For this reason alone we would never return.

the breakfast and shower could have been better. The employee of the kitchen to assist was not to be found for 45 to 1 hr. The front desk couldn't do her job due to finding the employee and the food had to be replenished. my daughter almost got hurt by the hot food server , it was broken. The employee should of realized and changed it.

The photos are deceiving. It is a much more meager hotel than you'd expect looking at the hotel. It is in a good location near food and shopping and close to the beach but that's about all. The gym is old and has few working machines. Even the yoga ball is deflated. Their bed frame cut my foot and they did little about it except remove the sharp edge that cut me. I won't be staying here again and neither should you!

Stayed in this hotel multiple times...This time met a roach in the bathroom, and saw multiple guests walking like zombies looking for some food in the morning in the breakfast area.. surreal experience!!

We stayed here for four nights, during Kart Week. We needed two rooms so we were looking for a hotel at a reasonable price. Rooms were ok. They both had a balcony that overlooked the highway. My toddler son, who is obsessed with trucks, enjoyed that. Gym had three pieces of cardio I equipment. Lobby was fine. It was easy to get to the race track. There is a restaurant next door that you can walk to easily. Breakfast in the morning, which is included, was good. Eggs, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, etc. Lots of options. This is by far not a five star hotel, but the price is right and it is conveniently located.

I stayed here for two nights over a weekend on a recent business trip. I stay at a lot of Best Westerns but this one was not typical of what I find. The hotel itself is very dated but the room and interior of the hotel were clean. Can't say the same for the outside. The parking lot of the hotel had little to no lighting at the rear of the building. The pool area looked real nice and they have one of the largest pools I've ever seen at a hotel. There are numerous places to eat close by.

Great hotel close to everything. Spent 10 days there. The breakfast was spectacular. Always fresh and hot. Tasty as well. Close to the Ale House. Ale house food was very reasonable in price and a good varity to choose from. Break beers and mixed drinks.

Pleasant and convenient - stayed one night while traveling home from Key West. Internet was not reliable but for one night no big deal. Staff was very friendly - our check in was extremely quick and professional.

Enjoyed our stay, hotel very nice. Quieter than most hotels. Nice little "balcony" to enjoy. Linen and room was clean. We felt safe around property. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed they offered sausage and ham with eggs. They always had hot coffee available. Hotel is close to everything but goofy to get to. We were never "locked" out of our room and needed to get key reset which made us happy. Only pet peeve, elevator was very slow.

Taking in to consideration that we stayed in November where the crowds are thin and the weather unpredictable, there were many people staying here due to good rates. The room needs a little update but the bed was great. Our room door opened out in to the outside walk way which was a little disconcerting. The breakfast included was fine. Overall it was fine and the price was right but not a 5 star.

This hotel has its good points, but it lacks a few others. This hotel has a huge, but unheated, pool. It has a welcoming pool deck. The rooms here are spacious, but the bathrooms are very tiny. When they update the rooms they should put the sinks on the outside of the bathroom to help this situation. The balconies are nice. The staff here could be more welcoming and friendly. Choose a courtyard room if you would like a quiet rest.

I had excellent time at this hotel every time I come to Daytona Beach, FL. The hotel is nice located 2 minutes to I 95 North or South 5 away from Daytona International Speedway and a tons of wood restaurants. One the best you can stay with your family or yourself. The staff was super nice at the check in. Room was clean, not bad smells everything work super good. A+

Clean, surprisingly quiet given it's location on International Drive, next to the interstate in Daytona and a comfortable bed.Affordable. Having a decent selection of beer for sale at the front desk was a nice touch, after a long day.

I booked this hotel last minute. We received a warm welcome from the front desk. Room was very good size and opened onto a patio with a couple of chairs to enjoy the warm night air. Only glitch I had was finding an ice machine that worked. Didn't eat the free breakfast as we wanted to get on the road, but it looked like a nice variety of items in a nice big area. I'd definitely stay here again.

Skip the breakfast. It was terrible. Semi-warm scrambled eggs and dried out sausage links were the only "hot" options. Oh, they did have a waffle maker, I think, but I never eat waffles. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

We typically can find better hotels for a good price but the area was pretty booked due to the stupid Biketoberfest so we wound up at this cheap hotel. Mold and mildew were prevalent. Bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've been on in a long time, hips, knees, back, and neck were sore the entire trip.

Have stayed at this hotel for the last 5 or 6 years for Biketoberfest, Nice area restaurants with in walking distance. Great Staff location is just the right distance from events and close to the freeway.

The only issue we had was a toilet that wasn't flushing properly. We notified housekeeping when leaving room and when we returned everything was working properly. Breakfast was good each day and pool is magnificent. The tennis courts would use some new nets.

Great Hotel, I would definitely recommend. This was my firs stay with Best Western and I must say. I was impressed. From start to finish it was refreshing to return to my hotel room after my daily explorations. It made my trip to Florida a great experience. I would definitely recommend and will stay again on my next visit.

Average hotel with average amenities. No microwave in room. Room clean and orderly. TV remote was missing which isn't a big deal. WIFI seemed slow but the hotel was busy with guests for the Biketoberfest.

My stay was good and I was well serviced and taken care of . I was offered a room upgrade that included an extra attached room with a bed. Seeing that I had kids that wanted separate beds. over all my stay was great, small problem with shower fixture leaking and being hard to turn on. But I reported this at check out.

I was in town for a friends wedding. The hotel is exceptionally located. Not too far from major stores, the mall, the stadium, and even the airport! The hotel is rather large and would be perfect for family gatherings. It is outdated and in need of renovations. Hotel staff were very friendly and professional.

Great service from the employees. Breakfast was awesome - lots of variety. Location is close to a bunch of stores and restaurants. Close to the interstate, so it is a great place to stop by if you are going on a long trip.

Noise late at night from other guests too loud on the hallway. Bath tub water does not drain properly. Incidents were not reported to hotel staff. Nose level from other guests on the hallway interrupted sleep.

This place was an absolute jewel. The pool was resort style, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms were large and clean. Such a wonderful surprise for a Best Western. I wished we had been able to stay longer!

The staff was very nice and helpful. Day shift and night shift. We were busy and not able to use pool but it it huge and clean. The sliding glass door did not work but other than that the food was good and some left out for late comers...like me.

My husband was working in the area and we stayed here, I was disappointed when it was time to leave! Grounds/pool are awesome! The only problem was noise after pool closed kids were playing hide and seek but security resolved quickly.

This is my 5th stay at this property over the past few years. I keep coming back because its worth it. Clean. Good price. Caring staff. Great locale to do many things. Too bad its only a stop off to somewhere else, I'd stay longer!!!

It was decent, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Beautiful pool but could be cleaner. Great location for what I needed. Bathroom sink didn't drain they tried to fix it right away but were unable to, so they had us move to another room.

Stayed here two nights mid-week and had a very nice stay. Very friendly and polite staff. We were 4 adults and were upgraded to a 3-bed room which was very nice. The location is very convenient right off I-95. The mini-fridge in the room was convenient to have to keep some bottles of water. The room/bathroom could use a bit of updating but everything was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was good as well. Would definitely consider for future visits.

When this hotel first opened in the seventies, it was built as a resort. Because of this it has a very expansive pool and deck area. While it is an older property, it has been well kept and when the rooms were redone, they were upgraded to modern standards and expectations. It is a very good value for you money and it is just down the street from the Daytona Speedway.

I reserved the hotel throught the website of the Best Western Hotels. At the reception we were received very friendly. We got a very nice room with balcony with view on the swimming pool. The room was fine, beds confortable and the bathroom offered everything needed. Coffee available the whole day. Breakfast excellent, a big choice and the lady is nice and serious, checking the whole time if nothing is missing. Very nice big and clean swimming pool with many beds towels available. Fitness center very nice. Personnel very friendly!

Best Western speedway is not a great value for money , but it's clean and beds are comfy, I stayed because of a business trip and didn't give to much thoughts to my surroundings, but the pool needs some attention, the breakfast is quite poor and my room shower just dripped and that was rather annoying.

I had checked in to the Woodsprings Suites on Saturday, August 5th, only to learn that everything they told me I was getting was a flat out LIE and the staff was extremely rude! On Sunday afternoon I went to the Motel 6 down the street and very very nice young man said he didn't have anything available, so he referred me to the Best Western. Thank God he did. I checked in on Sunday evening with an extremely nice and accommodating woman (although I didn't get her name), who put me in a very nice, clean, comfortable room on the 1st floor, as I requested, since I cannot do steps. She also signed me up for the Rewards Program which I love, because I will be back. The telephone in my room was not working and neither was the TV. But "Oliver" promptly fixed both, no questions asked. The breakfast was very good and I loved the free coffee 24/7. However, I wish the opening and closing hours were just a little bit longer. (I had to leave by 6:00am to catch my flight at 7:15 Wednesday morning so I missed it). UGH. The pool was very clean, refreshing, and probably the biggest I have ever seen at a motel! Beautiful! All of the other guest were very quiet and respectful and so were their children. That usually doesn't happen in any motel/hotel, but this place is more upscale than the typical 2 star property and draws a higher class of guests at a comparable price. Again, "Oliver" was able to give me change at the front desk to buy snacks, drinks, and do my laundry, which was awesome. And the business center was open 24 hours so I could print out my boarding pass before I had to leave. When I did have to leave, the same lady checked me out. I sure wish I had gotten her name because she was awesome, once again.

It was a good stay overall. Kept having false fire alarms which was annoying. The breakfast was good, internet and tv was good. Room smelled liked it had been smoked in. Toilet and bathtub backed up, but were fixed in a timely manner. Would consider staying here again.

The hotel has been somewhat updated. The staff were very nice . the breakfast was okay. The area for the breakfast was small so it was very congested and made getting breakfast a chore. The rooms were clean. The location is the best feature of the hotel.

I stayed in this hotel 2 yrs ago had problems and decided to try it again to see if things had changed. Nothing has the tub leaked and the toilet ran and the sheets were dingy, I had to change them myself this is my last time staying at this BW in Daytona. Drive right pass it. The room cost to much and it didn't even have a microwave in it.

This hotel was very economical and convenient to some of the Daytona attractions. I was late from my flight, but was told the room was still available and staff very reassuring. I LOVED the inner courtyard and olympic size pool , very beautiful night and day. We had a great room over looking all of that. I felt comfortable and safe staying here and would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Had room 133. Arrived very late,too tired to complain. The nicotine odor of stale cigarettes was nasty. Complained next morning they were nice enough to take 30 bucks my stay but I would never take the chance to stay there again

This was a trip for work but I still enjoyed my time in Daytona . The hotel was nice and clean the young gentlemen at the front desk was very helpful it was in a good location and I plan on going back for pleasure .

Was in for one night, need something with access to downtown Daytona and near the interstate this was a great value stay. Room access indoors, good hot breakfast in the morning and a large lobby area to accommodate guests.

Upon arrival the staff seemed agitated with the phone calls . The room smelled like mildew . The iron was broke . Ants in the bathroom . And bed bugs !!! In the morning I noticed blood stains on the sheets . I've been itching since I check out .

We checked in for a pleasure mini vacation. The check in was quick, room was clean and well stocked and we had no issues with anything at all.The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. When we were checking out there was one other person at the counter and someone came from the back and helped us.

I love this hotel. Awesome room, pool and breakfast. There are ice machines. They have waffles machine to be used in the breakfast, toasted-sliced breads, jellies and cinnamon desserts. The internet is high speed are stable.

They welcome you when you arrive. Check you in your room. Make you feel like family and treat you like you are home. The employees are very friendly and if you need any condiments they try to assist you.

Last minute excursion to the Nascar July Race. Conveniently located 1 mile from the track. Excellent location, very friendly staff, and nice room. Free hot breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The pool in this hotel is huge and one area is 12 ft deep. The breakfast was the best I had in any hotel that comes with this service. I also like the location, very close to restarants and the beach is no more than 10 minutes away.

Great price for a week stay. Room was clean, service was nice. The pool was a plus and nice too. I do however wished that it opened earlier than 10 as my visit was during the rainy season and it rained everyday after 2.. Could have used it more in the am if it opened earlier. Hotel is close to everything.. Definitely will be booking and stay there again.

Had my 89 year old mom in town so we stayed here..close to home. Couldn't be happier! They were very accommodating for last minute on Memorial Day weekend. Clean comfy rooms and great breakfast!!! My mother also got to enjoy the pool for an early morning swim and loved it. She said it was the nicest pool she had been in. All of the employees couldn't have been nicer.

I stayed here 7 nights, and went out for trips, so didn't stay much in the hotel. But for sleep it was very good, good bed. Clean. Lot of space in the room, clean towels. Good shower. Nice pool. Good icing machines. Breakfast was average. Good, but every day the same products, only variety in eggs. I read positive reviews about the staff, but i only spoke the guy who checked me in. The lady at breakfast never said a word, or goodmorning, and looked very grumpy. When i checked out the lady at the desk also said nothing, not even goodmorning or goodbye when i left. She only asked i wanted a receipt and that's it. Not even asked how my stay was. Not interested i guess? Location very good!! Wifi also very good and fast.

This place is a complete and utter dump. The rooms are filthy and worn down. The mattresses are terribly uncomfortable and the staff is rude. I would call this a 1 star hotel. It is on the highway and noisy and impossible to get to without accidentally getting on 95 and driving 15 minutes out of your way. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here if you want a good night's test. The staff are the worst I have experienced in a long time.

If this is the only hotel room left in Daytona that should be the only reason you should stay here. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this hotel other than its proximity to the speedway. The place is the quintessential fleabag hotel.

Stay on our travels at this Best Western hotel by the international speedway.It was great! service was excellent and rooms were very clean. No problems what so ever. Breakfast was even good. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Awesome hotel and staff. This was our second time staying at this hotel in the past 3 months. We hosted a graduation reception at the hotel and the food prepared by the hotel caterer, Cathy Gilmore was plentiful and awesome. She exceeded our expectations. The banquet room are nicely sized and Lisa the Front Desk Manager, did a great job in recommending the right room based on party size. Overall, a great experience, would definitely use this facility again if I needed to host a reception in the local area.

Free breakfast was very good...checkin guy was helpful and friendly. Walking distance to target and a few restaurants. Interior doors...balcony ours had a pretty green view of pool area. Plenty of parking. My only reason for a 4 was a slight older building type of smell throughout...i have a very sensitive nose. My son did not notice. I was worried my allergies would kick in but i was fine and had a nice sleep in a comfy bed. I would definitely stay again.oh..very close to speedway if that is your thing...and a mall not toooo terribly far away

A one night stay at Daytona just a block from I-95 and 3 blocks from I-4, easy on and off. Great breakfast, attending staff, big and open lobby. The rooms were well appointed. Unfortunately my husband and I learned we don't fit in a double bed any longer !! Will definitely return!!

My husband and I had a trade show to attend at the Daytona Speedway and I chose this hotel via the internet because of its location and value. To be honest, we weren't expecting much but we were extremely impressed with the hotel and its amenities, especially the giant pool! The rooms were large and very clean. We witnessed a janitor wiping down the baseboards in the hallway. VERY CLEAN! We will most definitely return when staying in Daytona!

Another "novel" (200 words) to express what should be the standard rather than the exception to my experience at this hotel chain. What to say, I came, I paid, I slept, I washed my clothing, I ate breakfast, I packed And I left. I was treated well and (better than the night before in Murfreeboro TN) I was able to find people behind the desk looking to assist me.

We have used this hotel for business for 4 years in a row. We use this during an event at the Daytona Speedway in April. Location is perfect, great staff, clean rooms and clean hotel. We will continue to use this hotel for future events at the Speedway.

We stayed here for 4 nights while on spring break in DB. First, let me give the pros. Great location: a lot of restaurants near the hotel with one right next door, nice pool, easy check-in/check-out, helpful and friendly staff, good rates, and free and good Wi-Fi. Now, let me say why I'm only giving it a 3-star rating. The rooms were fairly clean but needs to be updated (some areas more so than others), our bathroom had a funny smell even after it's been cleaned, the breakfast was ok (mostly pork sausages so no good for us non-pork eaters) and the pool is nice but they should've had it heated around this time of the year when it's not that hot to get into a cold pool. Would I recommend anyone to stay here? Maybe. I may look for another hotel if/when we visit DB again.

We stayed at this location based on a recommendation from friends and it was offering special pricing for a convention we were attending. Staff upon check-in couldn't have been nicer and the lobby is way more than I was expecting for a Best Western. Room was an average hotel room but was clean and quite. Beds were a little firmer than we prefer but that's a matter of preference, our friends thought the beds were rather comfy. We had a room on the speedway side and except for the occasional rather loud motorcycle we didn't hear any street noise. We would stay there again if we were in town and needed a hotel close by.

everything went well the rooms was nice and large we had a king staff was nice it was clean it was quiet air worked well tennis courts nice pool was nice food was good lots of seats in the eating area easy to get to lots of restaurants nice staff

This hotel is definitely modern. John at the front desk was nice enough to give us our room which was spacious with a nice view of the pool. The corridor is nicely lit, nice coloured. It takes around 10/15min on foot to reach the Speedway track. Still a good location, friendly staff and very clean hotel. Good job.

yes, it is fun, no roaches and good food. Close to the race track and nearby eating places. Traffic is not too bad during week days. Water tastes ok, plenty of relaxants. Pool and entertainment on weekends and special days.

Everything was adequate even though the hotel was older. Very convenient having a restaurant next door. Only small issue was noise from aircraft because it is close to the airport. Easy to find off Main interstate highway.

I would stay again, parking is nice every room on bottom floor has a walk out sliding door to a grass area. The second floor has a sliding door with balcony. The breakfast is nice with fresh pancakes all the toppings. The interstate in near by but never heard it once.

Very fast check in, despite my last minute reservation on a sold-out weekend. Very full hotel still had ample parking during bike week. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Plenty of food and drink choices with in walking distance. Near the speedway, not far from the beach. I'll be back again! Thank you.

This is a horrible hotel. Don't stay here. The rooms have odors. The staff isn't friendly. They are rude. Plumbing isn't good. Air circulation is poor. Not central air. Old a/c in rooms. Definitely a 1 star hotel. Stay away from this hotel.

It was our55th anv. we travel 6 thousand this trip from Bowie, MD to Albuquerque, to Daytona, up to Myrtle Beach back home to Bowie. Now how do you think it was sitting in the lobby at the Best Western for more than 2 hours because our room was 3 hours late.

The location was good. Easy to get to from I-95. The rooms were quiet and very clean. There are a lot of resturants close by. Most within 5 minutes.There was a shopping center across the street. It is very near the Daytona Speedway.

really nice rooms and pool and breakfast....will stay again. great great great stay will not regret it clean pool big hot breakfast flat screen tv in room nice beds and lots of places to eat around it for dinner.

Motel is located in a very busy shopping center and close to an interstate. There is no signs to identify which road to turn on to get into the where the motel is located, and it was even more difficult to locate at night. The lobby was spacious and the our room was very roomy and clean. Nice breakfast area with plenty items to choose from.

Staff was courteous and helpful, rooms clean and good size, pool one of the largest ever, breakfast very good. The location was right off I 95. Grat value for the price, of course, on a non-race weekend.

10-across the board I stay at this hotel all the time while visiting daytona beach-love it and I especially love Ms. Natasha who is always so very helpful-if you do not drive and you are from a Big city not to worry it's directly across the street from the bus stop-you can walk to many different venues to pick up something to eat. This is a great location and like I said I have stayed at this hotel several times and i will continue to stay there.

We had pre-booked a hotel in Daytona Beach which turned out to be under construction and smelled of mold. So at 2am and exhausted, we were searching for a replacement. This hotel was a "great find!" Very clean, comfortable, and they even gave us a great discount. Not a beach front hotel but way more value and quality for the money.

The location of this hotel is great. Near restaurants, shopping, and I-95. My family and I stayed for one night due to a church convention we had that weekend and it was great. Room was clean. Breakfast was just 'ok'. Eggs did not taste good. And I love breakfast potatoes and they didn't have any. Other than that, everything was great :)

Very nice place to stay. Very good breakfast. Roomy friendly hotel. Giant pool that is away from the room so you do not hear all the noise of kids etc. Large breakfast area also is very nice. Located in a very good area, lots of places to eat, easy access to I-95.

I go to Bike Week in Daytona every year. If you are planning a trip during this time the earlier you can book rooms the better your rate will be. This Hotel is close to the Beach as well as Daytona Speedway.

This is one of the better properties for Best Western. I was prepared to book on the beach but there was not a room available on the night I needed, so I book this location instead. I am glad I did. Great value, nice atmosphere combined with a good location makes this a great choice. My wife and I walked (less than 50 yards from the hotel door) next door to Miller's Ale house and had a great meal. If I need a room in this area again, I will stay here.

I have stayed here about 8 months ago and continue to see improvements in the property. The rear parking lot has just been re-done, the re-carpeting is now complete. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, the towels are nice and fluffy, the breakfast is nice. The pool is huge! too bad I didn't see anyone in it! I was in a King room which seems very large as there is only 1 bed in the room. They have mini refrigerators in the room as well as a small individual size coffee maker. Nice desk area to work at as well as a large round table with chairs. There is a balcony with chairs as well. The rooms facing the pool area have nice views, my room faced the parking area and the freeway. I could hear the freeway a little, but not enough that it disturbed my sleep. Most rooms are non-smoking. The hotel is only 2 stories, but they do have an elevator. There are many rooms that are available for meetings. This would be a great place for a wedding reception!. The breakfast area is in the lobby and they serve the typical complimentary breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh pancakes, juice, fresh apples and bananas, toast or bagels, yogurt, instant oatmeal with a nice amenity bar. It was quiet for a Saturday night and I slept well. Can't ask for more! The front desk staff is nice. I would definitely recommend this property and will come again! Oh - wifi is free and was good, they do have cable TV in the rooms. I didn't use the "business" area, but they do have an area with a computer you can use as well as print out boarding passes.

Excellent location. Room is above average in size for the price. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Only wish room had a microwave, but one was available in the breakfast area. Very nice and professional staff.

My husband and I just recently spent two nights here. It just wasn't what we expected after viewing the photos online. We were told all the rooms had balconies but we ended up on the first floor with just a really dirty patio area. We requested a room with a nice view but I can't blame them for this because I don't think there is a nice view from anywhere in the entire hotel. The room itself was okay. Overall it looked clean. The bed was comfortable however there was a very bad odor in the room. Not sure what it was. We checked out their pool which was huge. They do have a very nice pool area. We ate breakfast there the first day and it was very disappointing. After trying a few different things like the sausage links that were literally as hard as a rock and two different types of very stale muffins we decided we would be going out for breakfast on day two. My biggest complaint was about the staff. The guy at the front desk (sorry we can't remember his name) who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. After that, not one person that we came in contact with said one word to us. It takes a second to say hello or just don't say anything and at least smile at the guest to make them feel comfortable. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless we wanted to use the giant pool.

Started our bike week at this hotel. Check in was a breeze and placed in a fun room that included an extra bed in a separate room. Everything was clean and quiet. No loud noises and you have a balcony which is a plus. Definitely a nice stay..check it out.

rooms smell not clean and people not friendly hotel is old and needs to be painted, cleaned up and have the odors removed the front desk people some were not helpful and they stood there while we waited to be checked in and they told us they were off the clock and wait for the man to finish checking in another quest to then check us in.

An average hotel for its price. Location iss good. Lot of food options nearby. Hotel had water issue. Small ants running around the tables. Poor beds. terrible broken pillows. poor breakfast quality. Limited options.

Noisy in-the-wall A/C unit, bathroom needs work.Rust around tub drain, and shower fixture stuck out from the wall about 6 inches, with dirty pipes showing. Breakfast food terrible. This hotel was great I'll be vacationing again and this is the place to be nice size pool rooms are so big nice balcony where you can have access to outdoors instead strolling threw the hotel. Breakfast was ok I guess I was expecting real eggs pancakes where great just the lines are to long to even get them plus the wait time is to long other than that I have nothing to say bad about this place close to a lot of shopping centers stores 15 mins away from the beach I just loved this place all together I will be here again and it will be at best western ??????

Very good place only had small complaint of odor in hallways. Great staff only other problem is that I wasn't there long enough. The breakfast was good and it changed daily. Pool was very nice. Right down the street from the Speedway in walking distance. Great place to stay.

The location of this hotel is great. Everything is right on the same road as the hotel. The rooms was a fair size. The cleanliness of the room was fair. I didn't care that the house keeper did not change the linen on the my beds in my room. I was staying for two nights with some friends. Over all the breakfast was fair and the hotel was ok. I would stay here again as the last resort.

Was quite impressed, even though was there just for one night. Easily got a room in just about 30 minutes of calling. After having a most unpleasant stay at another hotel on the beach, Kenny, the Front Desk attendant, was very professional, pleasant and accommodating, although it was a little difficult to locate the hotel, even with a GPS. Have stayed at many Best Westerns and this was one of the best. H-U-G-E swimming pool, but did not have the time to try it out. The patio was quite attractive and convenient. There is a restaurant within covered access. Hot, free breakfast was a nice amenity. Enjoyed the stay and will recommend to others. Oliver, too, was very helpful and informative the next morning. Will definitely be back.

This hotel room was very nice and spacious.My son enjoyed the almost Olympic size pool. The rooms were very clean and the staff are very nice.we enjoyed ourselves at this hotel after coming form Orlando in a tiny room..

We stayed here to visit relatives after a long day at Kennedy Space Center. The room was a bit dingy and the signs reminding visitors to refrain from taking things from the room was amusing and rather telling.

I stayed at this location about six (6) months ago, and many of the same issues that I had at that time still existed during this stay, and will likely be in existence when I return in about a month (8/2016). 1. The toilet in room 104 is not secure to the floor (Makes a lot of noise whenever sat upon. Is methane escaping into the breathing air?). We believe we had this same issue in Room 100 when we previously stayed at this location. 2. The east side security door outside of Room 100 is still inoperable. Neither the keyless or keyed entry worked. Had to enter through the front of building when access through this door was much closer to room. Some guest were propping the stairway access door open for re-entry into the building from that direction which in essence compromised hotel security. 3. The tennis courts lights still don't appear to work, and the nets are not in good condition or at regulation heights. This Best Western Plus has to known that these courts are an attraction to people staying there that are competing/participating in USTA Championship events held at the Florida Tennis Center. I trust that these issues will be considered for repair and/or maintenance prior to my next visit. Otherwise the stay was exception. Average hot breakfast selection, very large pool for everyone's enjoyment, and very comfortable and spacious room (1 Kind Bedroom).

I don't know where to begin. I was there for my daughter Orientation for college. Before I reserved my room i read the reviews and look at the picture they had online. When I first arrived the outside of the hotel was nice. I know the reviews said it was a older hotel but it was nice and clean all LIES!!! The hotel smell like smoke the elevator was nasty and my room was DISGUSTING!!!! There were holes in the walls the room smell like smoke and the carpet was so nasty. The bathroom was gross we had to take a shower in our shoes the tub was just that nasty. I would have left and went to another hotel but we had been on the road for 13 hours and I was tired.The next morning their were bugs all over the table. I had booked the room for 4 days low and behold i was out the next morning. Front desk clerk was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience and even offer me another room. NO THANK YOU !!! But like the saying says you get what you pay for. Never again I will pay the extra buck to stay in nice Hotel....

We were looking for a Hoitel with a nice Pool - and we found it. It is big and nice. Had a huge clean room with entree and balcony, Good warm continental breakfast, Close to the Daytona Speedway, about 10 min to the beach by car. Rooms can be a bit noise because there are doors beetwen the rooms, good for familys who need 2 rooms.

The location is everything about this hotel. The hotel itself needs to be refurbished. I liked the breakfast. I had never seen an auto pancake machine. My kids loved oreo and chocolate chips as toppings. Pool looked nice but didn't have a chance to get in.

I found this jewel 2 years ago on accident and now i include it in my vacation. It's always around or after midnight when we arrive and the staff are very polite and make us feel like they are glad to see us again. the room we get is always great. The breakfast is cooked just right and doesn't run out before the cut off time. The pool is huge and maintained. I found out on this trip they have a VIP suite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. It is close to just about everything to do in Daytona.

Myself and family visited my oldest daughter and her family here in Daytona Beach Florida. We had never stayed in a hotel here before. We checked the reviews for the Best Western here on International Speed Way and to my surprise it is a great hotel. It's clean the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would surely stay here again.

Loved the location of the area. The pool was such great amenity,was large and never crowded. Greeted with a warm welcome. Did not have a chance to have breakfast because the long line, skipped breakfast.... And checked out early.

My stay at this Best Western was very enjoyable and the employees were very kind. Pool was great. Experienced a tasty breakfast each morning. Located near everything and easy to get to the beach. Would stay there again when in Daytona Beach.

The hotel was a good value for the money that we spent through Priceline. The front desk clerk was very friendly and allowed us to check in early. We were within 4 minutes from the Daytona International Speedway, which is why we were staying. The pool was beautiful and large. The breakfast was great. The room itself was clean overall, but there were a few things that housekeeping needs to pay closer attention to. We had a weird stain behind our toilet and hair in the shower. The room was supposed to be nonsmoking, but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke when we walked in. We were in a double bed room, the beds were VERY tiny and not very comfortable.

Service was great. Very close to Daytona Track. Would recommend.. Did NOT report but the room always had a damp smell. We dealt with the only issue which was.. a damp smell always in the room.. Needs to be aired out or AC checked, something needs fixed.

We booked three nights here, after selling our house, as a base to use for tidying up loose ends before we left town. What a delightful find! The exterior is unassuming, but the lobby, the courtyard, and the rooms are beautiful. Location couldn't be more convenient, literally ten seconds off I-95 (unless you catch the traffic light.) You're two minutes from the speedway and within walking distance of a great shopping plaza and restaurants. Oh ... and just a 2-minute drive from Indigo Golf Course, which is gorgeous. We choose a room overlooking the very large courtyard for some quiet and were pleased to find sliding glass doors opening onto our personal patio. The courtyard is one of the prettiest I've seen at a hotel, and I've stayed at more than a hundred hotels worldwide. It's beautifully landscaped and hosts a concrete walkway winding through rolling knolls, lush greenery and exquisite flowers, along with the largest outdoor swimming pool I've seen in recent memory. The front desk staff is friendly, helpful, efficient. Our room was way at the back of the building, quite a walk from check-in, but you can park near the back exit if you'd rather not walk. Our king room was beautiful, spacious, and nicely furnished, with a dinette and two chairs, desk and chair, 3-drawer dresser, two large nightstands, coffee counter, mini-refridge, large flat screen, nice size closet with plenty of hangars and storage space, and lots of lamps. I loved the poppy art ! Other amenities included an iron and board, luggage stand, radio alarm, hair dryer, and several large mirrors. The only item missing was a microwave. Even the bathroom was larger than expected, with full size tub and enough floor space to tango between the fixtures ! Toiletries were as expected for a 2.5 star hotel - shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bar soap. Towels were plentiful. The shower/tub area could use a little updating, but we had no issues with water pressure or temperature. The room was spotless, and the bed was divine. Darkening curtains kept sunrise away until we were ready to play. The AC worked beautifully and operated quietly, unlike some wall units we've experienced. Complimentary wi-fi was surprisingly fast and worked well, except for an occasionally blip where it got stuck temporarily. Guests can utilize a laundry room, a small fitness room, and a breakfast room on site. Complimentary breakfast was fine, unless you're organically inclined like Hubby and me. I couldn't eat anything but oatmeal and the fresh fruit, but other guests might like egg patties and sausage, breads and muffins, pancake maker, yogurt, etc. Coffee is available in the lobby 24/7. This hotel was far above and beyond what we expected for 2.5 stars. We'd definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our night here. Huge pool, nice room, and excellent breakfast! The hotel is older, but taken care of. It's close to shopping and restaurants, and just a few blocks from the racetrack. We stayed here to break up our long trip and it was perfect for that.

I stayed here twice in the last month because of work. I had a slight issue with one room, it smelt like cigerette smoke. The staff was extremely helpful and got us a different room. The staff is very polite and willing to go the extra mile. Breakfast was a typical buffet. The pool is fantastic! Plenty of space and relaxing. I will definitely stay there again.

The room we had was extremely clean and spacious. The staff was very very nice. Breakfast was perfect and the kids loved the automatic pancake machine. There are items for everyone. The hotel was very quiet though it is situated near the highway and though we were there during Daytona Speed week. The only negative point is the swimming pool: it was not heated at all. My kids gave up trying to enter water: it was too cold. That's a pity for the pool is huge and beautifull but no one uses it. I will come back. Thank you.

Overall nice for a best western. The rooms are exactly as you would expect. The grounds were pretty impressive. Oliver was the only staff member we met and he was very professional and courteous. The ale house is right next door if you want a drink. Near the speedway. Would have no problem booking again.

Our trip to Best Western International Speedway was great, as usual! This is our preferred hotel when we visit Daytona. We even booked our Bike Week rooms while we were here.The kids just love the pool and love to convenience to all the places we visit in Daytona.

My sister and I checked in for 5 days in May 2016 for the Country 500 Music Fest at the Speedway. Room was clean and we were happy with it. Tried room service on our last night and was just horrible. Do Not get room service! Food is not cook on location and is delivered from some Italian place, took 2 hours and $40.00 for horrible food. House keeping is another issue. They come in and just make the beds. They changed the sheets only 1 day our entire stay and ran the sweeper once also. Everywhere I go I buy something cheap to test the cleaning service. I bought a $10 blue bracelet in tissue paper and threw it on the bed before I left. Gone when I returned, so please lock up your things. I really hope they enjoy it!

We take cruises and drive to the Port Of Miami. Since it is a twelve hour drive we leave the day before and stop off in Daytona and continue to the Port the following morning Less stress and is cheaper to stay in Daytona parking is also easier and free

Overall the hotel was a very nice we did have one problem with housekeeping when we got back late at night we noticed that the bed had stains on it my husband went down talk to them so they would know that the bedspread in the room had stains they offered him another room but it was late at night we could not move everything to go into another room my husband went in the morning because the men at the service desk told him to so my husband did they made him feel like he was a third class citizen we did not want money we did not want to free Room all we wanted was for them to tell housekeeping that they really need to pay a little more attention I was very unhappy as a diamond member that the embarrassment that they put my husband through just going there to explain the situation to them

We stopped here to spend the night on our road trip to Georgia. I selected this hotel in particular for its large pool and easy access from the highway, and I was not disappointed. If swimming is your number one workout you will love this hotel! I had the pool all to myself and enjoyed my laps. The pool area is surrounded by palm trees and nice landscaping. Other than that the service was friendly, and I got the quiet room I had asked for. We were in room 102 which is on the ground floor in the wing that faces away from the highway. Our room overlooked the tennis courts, and there was a side entrance for quick access to the parking lot. We couldn't hear the nearby highway at all and had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was not spectacular but free and OK. As an improvement I would recommend opening the pool earlier in the morning - it's currently 10 am. My only real concern would be security: The sign on the side door said "access with your keycard" but there was not even a lock, and the door was open for anyone to just walk in day and night. If you are a female solo traveler you might want to stay closer to the lobby.

We visit relatives once a year that live 1/2 mile away. Although we don't stay here, we often book a room just so we can make use of the pool. Sounds strange, but worth it. Pool area is expansive, very quiet and relaxing. Just wish they would offer day rates for use of the pool only.

We stayed just one night before heading off to our cruise. Does not look like much on the outside, as a matter of fact we passed it up at 1st and then decided to swing back around. The inside is very nice, rooms were clean, 100% non smoking and has a pool. (We did not use). Good and affordable place to stay for the night

Look sometimes nice people work at run down old musty dumps like this place. I love the location, and the people that work here seem nice. But the "dinning chairs" are filthy, the desk chair is filthy and what is that smell?? I seriously can't figure out what it is, if I had to guess I'd say that someone was trying to cover up a damp musty odor with a perfumed deodorizer. And hey you can feel safe here, the door leading to the Ale house next door is open 24/7!! WITHOUT the use of your room key or anyone else's for that matter, you can enter at will. Yet based on the ratings that I saw on Trip Advisor, you might think that this was an acceptable place to stay, I couldn't disagree more. Do us all a favor, get some new carpeting, upholstery and a television that you can view CLEARLY. The cheap sets in the rooms are dim and by no means HD. I don't mind paying a reasonable price for a room, so please consider at least some of my suggestions.

We came to Daytona Beach to visit family. Didn't spend much time at the hotel but we did take a tour around the site. The outside grounds are beautiful. The swimming pool was amazing so sparkling clean & we've never seen a BW pool so huge. The room was updated & well kept. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. My husband enjoys the room temperature very low for sleeping and I enjoy being warm. So, we called the front desk & another blanket was promptly delivered to our room. I'm not a breakfast eater but the fruit was fresh.

Although the outside and inside is somewhat worn, the value was great, room very comfortable, bed comfortable, and experience generally positive. Breakfast quality not that tasty but sufficient. Right by the hay 95 exit but pretty view from room into extensive courtyard. Best price on HotelTonight app.

We stayed at this hotel with a group of tennis players that numbered seven (7) rooms and I heard only a couple of complaints from any of our group. And, those complaints were quickly addressed by staff. Personally, I was very pleased with the room, the breakfast, the exceptionally large pool and pool area and the tennis courts. It seemed to be fairly recently remodeled and was extremely satisfied with the value and the location.

I stayed here for Jeep Beach weekend and it was really good. No complains at all. We enjoyed and I will come back next year. The free breakfast was good and with variety of food. The pool was very clean, also the rooms. Not enough towels for four people.

Clean and reasonable this hotel is a great choice. Our room was very satisfactory. Bed was extremely comfortable. The pool was crystal clear and inviting! I will stay here again when travelling to Daytona.

Replaced the AC unit three times in three days before one worked. No offer to change rooms. No discount. Had to purchase fans from Home Depot to sleep. Would never stay in this hotel again. Only reason I did check was all other hotels were full that weekend.

It's just about as close to the speedway as you can get, so you have quick access from just across the street. A very well-kept front desk with happy folks. The room was very up-to-date, no mildew smell, and had everything needed for a stay, long or short. As always, there's the free breakfast and wifi. I'll be back next year!

We have stayed here several times over the last few years and have always had excellent service, hotel is super clean, breakfast always quick and hot, the pool is one of the largest in any hotel we have stayed at. the manager was on site most of time and was always ready to give helpful suggestions and directions..

We Had a minor issue in our room. It was repaired and they gave us an additional discount. Staff was most supportive and helpful did not hesitate to make repair and adjust our bill. Room was very clean. Loved swimming pool area. Hot and cold Breakfast was substantial and quite tasty!

really nothing that stands out that is spectacular here, but nothing that we didn't like about this hotel either. It was clean with friendly staff. They have tennis courts and tennis rackets to borrow. The pool is HUGE....12' deep at the deepest with a huge area that is 3' 6" deep for the kids. There was a cheer competition at the Hilton on the beach that had 96% of the rooms booked and the deal sites prices were getting out of hand so we stayed here. It was close enough to the beach that we didn't really notice the drive at all. Good value here to be sure.

Better than expected got here at midnight after a long day at Disney with the kids and grandma need I say more. I had hard time finding a available hotel on line. I Walked in and there was an amazing lady named Debbie at the front Desk she said calm down we have some rooms and I can help you out. Then she asked me why I was so frazzled and was so calming. What a great lady!! And the hotel is wonderful much better than we expected. Nice rooms beautiful pool, great breakfast, helpful staff. I would stay here again anytime!

Traveling through, needed a place to stay. This one was close to 95, convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was good. Breakfast was hot and yummy. Morning staff was pretty noisey, good thing we were not trying t sleep in. Lots of good eateries nearby!

The weather was not good so we were unable to take advantage of the primary amenity we planned to use, which was a giant pool. It ranged from 3 feet to 12 feet with water falls all around. The breakfast was far better than average. The internet could stand a little improvement. Staff were very friendly. Bathroom a bit small (not so much in space, but in counter room).

I come thru the Daytona area at at least once a month. Usually driving straight thru being that I only live a few hours away in Georgia. This trip was a round trip in a short time. So I needed a room on the way back. This spot fit the bill. Clean as you would expect an older hotel to be. Friendly staff. Great little breakfast. The pancakes were a welcome treat. Weekday price less than $100 bucks. I couldn't complain with anything ,as close as it was to the interstate. ..and restaurant...next door.

the carpets were dirty and stained; live roaches in hallways; dining area dirty; nightstand had spills from previous guest; room noisy from hwy; good selection of breakfast items; courteous front desk personnel and housekeeping;

We have stayed here probably half dozen times before and have loved it as 2 of our grand-kids live near and we bring one of their cousins with us to vist. It's older but was well kept and had great service. This time things were just amiss. It was Spring Break, but not Bike Week, they were not very busy so that could not be the excuse. First thing I noticed, at the pool at 10:30 am, we were the only ones at the pool, but the trash was piled up to the raised lid and over flowing. That was the case the entire 4 days. There were no towels at the pool. The internet did not work the entire time we were there. We could connect to the router but the router was not connecting out. They acted like we were the only ones having a trouble (systems engineer, I know how to use a computer) and the other guest had the same complaint. We were second room off of lobby so it's not like we would have been out of reach. Day one housekeeping was not great but on day two housekeeping was horrible. Appears they emptied the trash and that was all. I found an abandoned laundry cart and the end of the hall and got more towels. The frond desk had replacement coffee and I went to the breakfast area to get sweetener. The underneath side of the soap shelves were black with mold. Out of orange juice in the breakfast area. The reason I gave a 3 and not a 2 is the pool is still awesome and never busy, and the bedding is very clean and comfy. May or may not give them an extra chance will check on the review for our next trip in 2 month and hope they are up to their usual standards

we stayed at the best western plus in daytona. the room was very spacious and clean. we had a balcony with chairs that was very nice. also had a huge swimming pool! within walking distance to the speedway and nice places to eat! would definately stay again!

The breakfasts were 5 star , room was always clean, can hear the race cars from the balcony . We stayed during the Daytona 500 so it was really a full house , great parking,Friendly staff. I would stay here again.

We had had a bad experience with a Best Western in South Carolina last year and were hesitant to try this hotel. All four of us are glad we did. The location is great because it's close to attractions, shopping and the highway if you want to visit Orlando for the day. It's also only ten minutes to the beach which is the main reason we visit Daytona each year. The rooms were huge, clean and in good shape. The property was also immense and the pool was fantastic and quite relaxing. We went to Orlando for the day so we actually visited on two occasions over the week. The first visit we had a room on the pool side which was secluded and very quiet. The second visit we were on the street side at our request because we were pretty tired and wanted to park and walk into our room through the patio door. You could hear the traffic at night but it didn't bother us too much and was completely expected when we made the request. We will definitely visit again next year during the March Break. Great hotel at a great price.

The room was large and well done. The balcony with 2 chairs are wonderful to sit outside. The pool is a large one with lots of seating area. No hot tub in the hotel. Breakfast is great with mostly everything. The location is great. Next door great bar and restaurant. Daytona Ale House. Paid high as it was Bike Week.

Check in and out was smooth. Staff very upbeat. Rooms are facing the street as well as a courtyard/backyard. There is a pool and a tennis court. Even rooms facing the highway are quiet. Room was clean although there was a chemical smell probably from the cleaning agents used. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean. Could've used a few extra towels. Breakfast had hot and cold items. Room with the food was small so at times, there are line-ups and it can become crowded. Plenty of parking. I'd definitely stay here again.

Not our best experiance. Construction on interstate which was right outside our window; of course the hotel had nothing to do with that problem but the 7:30 weed wacking could be changed. Had problem with toilet (not a new problem judging by the scares in the bowl. Air was hot or cold.

Recently went into this inn to get a quote on a room for the evening. Was given a quote or approximately $75. Mentioned that I had a coupon and was told they were taking coupons this week since it was bike week at Daytona. Desk clerk retuned to her work - I stood there and she turned away. Went next door to Motel 6. Was told all the coupon rooms were taken but the clerk gave me a room discounted on the credentials we hold after I had checked the room which was fine - not luxurious but fine. Guess he figured it was best to have a room occupied and he mentioned that bike week didn't start until this Friday. Good on him!

Musty room, mediocre breakfast, and didn't get the room we reserved. Made a mistake this time, but won't be back. Don't make our mistake --Daytona Beach has plenty of choices at similar prices. If only we could have gotten a straight answer about the room. Blaming Hotels.com was not right when king rooms weren't available due to renovations taking place...even if the renovations are needed.

We use Best Western because normally they are better than average. I did not mind the high price for staying during Daytona 500 Speed week, except in this case the motel did not meet the expectations for a Best Western. The air conditioner was so noisy I had to turn it off to sleep, the bed felt lumpy and our toilet was dirty. Also the eggs at breakfast did not taste right. We will likely try a different motel next year.

Check in and staff were very good...stop. Old style motel set up, side security door broken, always open. Standard size twin beds, no microwave in rooms, but frig. Bit run down now, needs to be redone. The price was right. Bath tiles need a good steam cleaning. Last upgrade think was 2009. The Ale House next door had great food and service.

This hotel is located right off I95 near the intersection of I4 in the shadow of Daytona International Speedway. Although not on the beach it has a great location. The lobby, pool, and breakfast are great. There is even a pretty good Ale House right next door (at the time guests of the hotel received a 10% discount). During my one night stay - I found the room to have issues around cleanliness. There was a musty smell to the room, standing water in the tub, and stains on the carpet and furniture (the beds were very clean - all white linens). Hotel management was very responsive to my concerns and did the best they could to rectify any problems. Unfortunately the hotel was full that night.

We stayed here during Valentines Day weekend. This hotel was one of the few that didn't sky rocket their prices due to the holiday and the NASCAR race. We were originally suppose to stay at another hotel, but when we arrived they refused to honor our online booking reservation as we are "locals". So we went to the Best Western Plus, whom were very accommodating. Our room was spot less and in excellent condition. We participated in the included breakfast. Great options and a hot breakfast bar! This is a huge deal for me as we have kids and need to feed them a quality breakfast before we head out. I would most definitely stay here again.

Paid $139 on Priceline for a night that most places were full on a nascar race night and holiday weekend. Room was clean and service good. Room included breakfast. Hot water and coffee was a available when we arrived at 10:30 pm. Would absolutely stay here again with any hesitation.

Friendly Staff, Excellent Location, Clean Rooms. I have stayed here several times and I have found all the above mentioned items to be consistent. Which is the reason why I stay here. The amenities are also good and they are pet friendly which is also a plus since I have a comfort animal.

My husband & I needed a stopover on our way to Ft Lauderdale and wanted a good bed, cleanliness and breakfast and not pay a lot. Didn't need extras but got that too! Right off I95 and easy to get to... We got exactly what we needed for the good price! Comfort...cleanliness...breakfast (could be a little better)...well equipped gym...good service with clogged drain... Very attentive staff ... More shopping & restaurants than you need!

I had an enjoyable stay. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked and smelled fine. The breakfast was average as expected. It did have eggs, which was nice. Coffee is available 24 hours. The staff was fine and friendly. No problems....perfect for me.

Really, the rooms smelled smokey or weird, there was thick dust on the alarm clock, a hair clip left on the floor (not ours), and a subpar breakfast. The coffee was tea colored and flavored, toaster filthy, eggs nasty. Plenty of other choices. Front desk staff was less than welcoming or helpful.

We stayed here for a running event at the Daytona International Speedway. I asked for a secure room for two women traveling with a child (as the sliding glass doors open to the outside) and Oliver on the front desk (who was top notch) assigned us a huge, nicely renovated room directly adjacent to the lobby. The room rate was less than $100, so it could not have been a better value for the money.

I've stayed at this hotel on last July! The hotel its well located, very close to a lot of atractions but not different from other B&B. Not recomended if you are staying for a romantic weekend or honeymoon.

We stayed here for the first time in the 6 years we have been coming to Rolex. Pricing was excellent for what we got. A clean, quiet, comfortable room. Front desk is kind and when we needed something got what we needee. See yall next year.

Stay is good location to the speedway is good, many options to eat near hotel. This is a dated hotel but it is kept clean. Now the rooms have sliding glass doors, 1st, second floor opens this door, will sound like thunder or a jet taking off, this will wake you. Bathroom clean but small, room 100 this sounds odd, but the bowl is not attached to the floor? It moves, how does this happen? So many hotels have loose bowls why? I wish I knew. Replacing a bowl is an easy job and hard to get wrong.

We stayed here with a coupon rate from a highway book. It was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, generous breakfast and absolutely beautiful resort type pool. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and the speedway. Surprisingly good value! Would definitely stay here again!

The lady?? at the front desk upon checkout told me i had a terrible last name. I could not believe she said that. I have traveled all over the world and have never been told that in any state or country that i have been staying. If i had an employee that said terrible things to customers, I would fire her so quick , she would have to be told 2 times.

first room had a flood in the bathroom. The second room had a filthy bathroom. The phone didn't work--had to go to the front desk to complain. No microwave in room. Had to use the one in the breakfast room, which was filthy. Would not recommend this hotel.

Never stayed in a Best Western before. Our experience was better then what we anticipated despite running across a couple of not so happy workers. Location wasn't too far from the beach but very close to the Speedway. Imagine it would be very loud during race week though.

On a business trip we had a wonderful stay with Best Western Plus. We did not have reservations and arrived late at night. We were pleasantly greeted and offered an affordable rate per night for a few days stay. We were shown our room and the kitchen, dining and family room. The rooms were clean and comfortable as were the rest of the hotel accommodations.The breckfast was very generous and the automatic pancake machine was a hit! The location was convienant and had alot parking. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have stayed there several times since for a few days at a time.

I stayed here last March, and again over New Years Dec 2015/16. The hotel has now renovated all rooms with new carpeting in the rooms and halls, fresh paint, comfortable beds and pillows. It is still an older property but they do take good care of it. They have a really nice large pool - you have to get towels at the front desk; lots of parking - free; free wifi which was pretty good, flat screen TV's with lots of channels, phone in the room as well as: mini frig, in-room coffee maker, shower over tub, toilet and sink. In room safe was available. The rooms are a nice size and all have balconies either looking into the pool area, or the parking lot. The buildings are two story and there is one elevator near the lobby. They offer a continental breakfast which wasn't that great but for some people it would be fine. They had hot scrambled eggs and sausage patties, bagels or bread for toast, two kinds of sugar coated cereal, instant oatmeal, and instant pancakes which were pretty awful. The lobby still looks like it is straight out of the 70's and my biggest complaint about this hotel is the lack of employees. I spoke to the Manager and his comment was that it cost money to hire another front desk agent and they may only be busy for a short time then not. Oh brother! That is true of all jobs. This hotel was sold out the week I was there and they were short handed in: front desk and housekeeping. They have absolutely NO security here and at night only have one employee on staff. Who does that?? this is a LARGE property. I think the owners are total cheapskates and I am shocked this is a Best Western Plus. On a positive note, I had no problems while I stayed here and got a good nights sleep even though it was New Year's eve. My room was tidied daily and was fairly clean. I did have to ask housekeeping to clean the balcony as previous occupants had smoked there and it really smelled bad! This is a good location, close to many restaurants, the freeway, the Daytona speedway and a short drive to the beach.

We didn't book our room here it was done for us by the company we work for. Over all the stay wasn't bad. Its real close to the speedway and I-95. The 1st 2 nights were ok other then the beds being really hard for our liking. The room was clean, plenty of towels in the bathroom. The 2nd night we did have an issue with parking two delivery trucks parked in the main parking lot long ways taking up over half the parking lot. We complained to the front desk and he didn't seem to care at all about it. He was to busy yelling at people coming in that wanted a room and he was booked. The 3rd night seemed to be okay. The 4th night however, not so much between the drunks running up and down the hallway screaming and the smoke detector beeping at 130 in the morning. My husband got up to take it down and the smoke detector is hard wired in the wall. He calls the front desk and the lady that answers the phone tells him there is no one there to take of it so just pull it off the wall and take the battery out of it. Upon check out that next morning the same man from the 2nd night was back and he didn't care either that the smoke detector went off. I think the worse part was hearing about one of the guys that was with us room. He said his room had water from the ac draining into the room instead of out and up under the bed. He was scared to look for mold as bad as the room smelled. He wasn't able to get a new room since they were booked. Not sure if will stay here again it depends on the changes they make in the time we are gone.

This hotel was like a motel but felt otherwise. Young and older staff combine to give a satisfactory stay in Dayton beach. Great loation. breakfast like many B.WESTERNS, acceptable. When paying low fare, expected low quality but NO. Great value for the buck for the LAST DAY OF NOVEMBER. Would go back again, when in Daytona beach. Above average for quality service for the pric.e

Overall my experience with this hotel was good. The lobby and grounds are first class and the front desk staff very good. You don't have drive-up rooms here but once you go in the hallway, you can open the sliders on your room and access your car from the back of the room. Negatives: broker hair dryer, broken TV remote, the room carpets had a lot of big ugly stains. Really bad. Big Negative: The parking lots that serve the side buildings are dark as pitch at night. My car was in the black the whole night. At 5:34 AM a jet took off from the airport across the street and woke me up. It was loud!

My wife and I got a late start on Christmas day heading from NC to Key West and was trying to find a decent place to stay at 1am. She got on her cellphone and found the Best Western on International Speedway Blvd and it was perfect. Fast and easy checkin from a delightful staff member. The room is very large with a king bed that slept wonderfully, large tv although batteries in the remote were dead but no real prob, nice size refrigerator, coffee pot with some surprisingly good coffee packs. Bathroom was very large and clean as was the entire room. The details on housekeeping were very well attended to as there was not one thing about our room that we felt was overlooked. Didn't stay long enough for the breakfast that was provided or take a dip in the pool but overall this property is excellent and one that I would highly recommend and most definitely stay at again. Now, gotta get to Key West for the New Years Festivities!!!!

The rooms are clean.Swimming pool is big and the location of the hotel is nice.There are plenty of restaurants around and we enjoyed our stay there.The prices were surprisingly low and our room was on first floor in a quiet area.Bathroom was clean.

We stopped here on our way to Miami. It is not worth more than the $55 (with a coupon) that we paid. The room needed updating. The rug was stained, the bathroom door had a lot of pealing paint. The fan in the bathroom was so noisy we tried not to put it on unless absolutely necessary,. The bed was alright. Breakfast was the usual nothing special. Wouldn't stay here again.

I spent one night recently at this property on my way to Port Canerval for a cruise. Having stayed at many different brands (and levels) of hotels, this one stands out as better than most. Even those with higher star-power. It was clean, modern, friendly and handy to I-95, shopping, food and the Daytona Intl. Speedway. It had the normal assortment of amenities including pool, free WiFi, etc. I would recommend BW+ Speedway to anyone.

I thought we received a great room for the price. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was definitely bigger and better than your average continental breakfast. The express checkout is really convenient. 11 a.m. checkout.

We had no reservations in town and were flying out the next morning; all motels, including Motel 6, were over $180.00 per night due to some car show in town; and we called lots of motels/hotels. This Best Western checked us in at the regular AAA rate of $107.00. The three people working the evening of November 26th, 2015 were very professional, polite, nice and helpful (Lady, young lady, young man). If I ever go back to Daytona, I'm staying there. We didn't get a chance to swim but it looked like they had a nice, large pool out back. Close the airport (didn't hear any noise though) and close to the raceway.

Daytona has one of the biggest flea markets around. This hotel is about 1 mile away, located on the international speedway, close to everything. Good place to stay if you are going south. Miller's Ale House is right next door and gives you a discount for staying at this Best Western.

I am a local resident and i needed a quick place to stay. I was able to get a room reserved through the manager. I spoke to the manager in person. His name is Mihir Patel and he is a very gracious and courteous helpful person. Also i missed breakfast by a few minutes. The helpful staff brought back out just what i requested for breakfast. Swimmng Pool is Olympic size. They have fitness room. You really can't go wrong staying here. King Size bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets.

If you're looking for a convenient place to stay near the raceway and I-95, then this is it! The rooms are extremely clean and updated, the beds are very comfortable and the pool - talk about HUGE! I wish it weren't cold when we arrived because I wanted to swim. We had a small outside porch with chairs which would be great if we had a longer bit of time to use it. The breakfast was plentiful, a machine made some of the best pancakes you could ask for. Great, friendly staff as well. We look forward to staying here again soon!

I stay at this Hotel every year and this year it did not appear to be well kept. Management needs to step up their game to make this property a nicer place to stay. May need to look for another place for next year.

spent a week during Thanksgiving to be with family for the holiday. each time i visit Daytona i stay at this hotel. it definitely rates a 3 star hotel at a great price. The rooms are always meticulously clean.They have an awesome hot buffet continental breakfast daily.The front desk staff is always accomodating to their guests needs. The hotel is located about 1-1/2 miles from the airport. Plenty of parking on the premises. They have a beautiful huge pool tho it is not heated. The outside pool patio area outside the pool gate as well as inside the gate to the pool is kept well clean. its location is unique as its very quiet at night. I definitely would recommend this hotel. i have stayed here many times over the years and will continue to do so. its location is also close to I-95 so easy on, easy off.

I have stayed mutiple times at this Hotel and the rooms are always clean and the staff is very nice and accommodating. I have never experienced a 'bad " experience at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Daytona Beach.

This hotel is right off I 95 but it has a beautiful resort like feel to it. A large swimming pool is behind the hotel surrounded by palm trees. The rate includes a nice hot breakfast and the room was very nice as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the rate was very reasonable at least during the timeframe we were there.

My admin set this hotel up for the HSR Classic 24. A pleasant stay with attentive staff and very good accommodation. Took advantage of the fitness center, business center and breakfast which were all very good. I'd rate this as an excellent value.

Great staff! great pool! Clean rooms! Nice hot shower!Great breakfast that included eggs and sausage cooked just right! Definitely a winner! Can't wait to go back again for a lengthier stay to enjoy the pool more...deep end..12 feet!!!

We were here for a week on fairly stressful business. What a joy to come "home" every night to wonderful accommodations. We hope to return for a fun trip!

My stay at this hotel was wonderful! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The spigot in the tub continuously dripped and the remote didn't work,but overall it was great and would recommend this hotel.

I would recommend staying at this hotel because the service offered at the reception desk by Oliver is exceptional. He goes out of his way to help you if you need it and is always courteous and friendly. There is shopping, restaurants nearby and is located close to US95. Very handy and, if the time is right, it has an outside pool.

A VERY BIKER FREINDLY HOTEL AND IS IN A GREAT LOCATION TO I-95 AND I-4 The staff was excellent in helping in anyway they could. Would definitely stay there again. When something needed to be fixed in the bathroom , maintenance was there fast. This a large hotel so if your room is at the end you will get your exercise in for the day. Had a great time there.

This hotel is located just a few blocks from Daytona Speedway. There are numerous fast food and restaurants near this location. The hotel is okay; however, I would not classify it as a Best Western PLUS. I happened to be there during "Biketoberfest", the hotel was full Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Room service was sufficient; towels were provided each day, but shampoo was not replaced for a couple of days (had some of my own), and the bed did not appear to be made up other than how I had made it up in the mornings. Desk staff were cordial and helpful.

We had 3 of our employees stay and they recommended they want to stay at this hotel on the next trip which will be during the next few weeks. Rooms were nice and clean. They did however ask if they have microwaves available in any of the double rooms. Overall they rate an A.

I have been to Daytona and stayed in several hotels. For the price this might just be the best one yet. It is convenient to the speedway and tons of restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Not a bad thing to say.

We stay here every time we are in the area. We are truck drivers so we travel a lot. This is one of our favorites. Definitely will be back. From the minute you walk in til checkout the staff makes you feel comfortable. Breakfast is the best. Rooms clean and up to date. We have not visited the pool yet but from our room it looks beautiful.

Very nice hotel with with large pool and balconies. We came in on Aug. 2nd Had 38 rooms and the staff had everyone situated in 30 mins. They had a very nice full breakfast. Had dinner at Miller's next door and food was good with good prices. I would definitely bring group back again as everyone enjoyed their stay.

We have two kinds of hotels that we consider as we travel around. The "sleeping hotel" is hopefully an inexpensive hotel, where you get in late and just need a decent place to sleep, and a clean place to shower up, so you can quickly continue on your trip. The second kind of hotel is a "staying hotel", and this is where you get to hang out, visit, enjoy all sorts of local "things to do", or meet with family or whatever, AND the "staying hotel" is nice enough, and equipped enough with what you need to have a relaxing time of it, for a few, or even several days. We consider This Best Western Plus to be one of our favorite "Staying Hotels" for the various reasons that I mentioned.
