A lovely building set in beautiful grounds. However the interior is shabby and needs much attention. Our room, 604, had a leather sofa with ripped covers, the sealant around the bath panel needs replacing and the plug in the basin jammed so that we couldn't release the water. On a positive note the beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly, professional and worked hard, particularly the bar staff in the function room. The breakfast tasty and there was a good choice.
Stayed here for a wedding. Saw a member of staff from his previous employment and he made me feel very welcome Both Connor and another lady could not do enough to help both myself and the wedding party Hotel is very comfortable and food good
I got married at the Casa last weekend. It was magical. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The rooms were clean , the beds are large and comfortable. Lovely buffet breakfast with warmed plates. My ceremony was held outside over a little wooden bridge onto a pretty island. My events manager Rebekah made sure that everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, although she manages many weddings Rebekah made me feel like the only bride in the world. My guests had a wonderful time. The bar staff worked extremely hard (and long). The Casa building and grounds are a little tired and dated in parts but it's a 1700 century building with lots of character and charm. An extremely happy experience.
Stay here for a night went to a wedding down the road. Room was nice but soooo hot no aircon they had a fan which not that great but better than nothing. Breakfast next morning was great lovely food. Parking not many spaces cause of a wedding they had there. Taxi service not good so busy couldn't get a taxi the time we wanted ended up driving to other place lucky we got a space when we got back at midnight. Hotel is nice though just needs aircon thats all.
Quiet hotel some is dated and breakfast needs a bit of variation . However staff do try and go above and beyond especially the young lad on reception ( who was also doing bar ) who explained he was new and went out of his way to try and help us . His can do attitude and smile was a great help. We only stayed as was at a do close by but will return for lunch or dinner as the food was good at lunch
Location was fine, just off the M3. Had access to a small shopping area, within 2 minutes drive, consisting of a restaurant, chemist and supermarket. Hotel was dated, very much in need of renovating. No air con, my room had no hot water in the bath, though there was in the sink. Hand held shower was tagged to the wall, so couldn't extend its range. No minibar in room, TV was small, probably 20 inches. Walls were thin, could hear other guests talking and slamming doors. There is a small gym, with four pieces of apparatus. Hotel restaurant served Italian food at London prices. Indoor seating area was small but there was some outdoor space, ideal for the summer but not surre how they would cope in the winter. Breakfast area was also small, as was the bar. Breakfast was standard, ie cereal, juices, pastries, cooked items included sausges, bacon, beans, hash browns, scrambled eggs, nothing out of the ordinary. The structure of the building has to be seen to be believed. It's not a standard block but an amalgamation of several buildings. Rooms seemed to be dotted all over the building, up some steps, then down again, a couple in a corner, then a few more down the hallway, etc. Has a 17th century tavern feel. Anyone who has been to the bookshop Waterstones on Gower Street in London would know what I mean. Staff were friendly and parking was free. It's classed as a 3* and is about right.
Awful service, would not recommend!
We chose the Casa Hotel in Yateley due to its proximity to a wedding venue and a reasonable number of positive reviews. In hindsight, we should have asked for a room change immediately upon seeing the condition of our room. Being tired and ready for a rest, we decided to put up with the issues rather than move—a decision we now regret. Room 51 Experience • Aesthetics & Maintenance: The carpet was stained, the wall over the closet had a hole, the frame on the desk mirror was peeling as well as peeling paint on the desk. An electric heater stored in the room had stains and a broken or missing leg. • Smell & Ventilation: The room was stuffy and very hot with a persistent stale/stagnant smell (possibly an old smoking room). Staff helped open the windows wider by disconnecting a safety latch and provided a desk fan. At 6:00 AM, kitchen smells began wafting into the room. • Pests: We spotted insects in the room on two separate occasions—once on the bed linen and once in the bathroom. • Amenities: The iron provided leaked black dust (reception did replace this with a new one). The ironing board cover was soiled and I covered it with pillowcases to protect my clothes. * The wifi in the room was satisfactory. We did not use the TV so I cannot comment. Bathroom & Safety Concerns • Lighting: The bathroom lighting was extremely dim, making it nearly impossible to apply makeup. Reception checked the light and said it was functioning properly, then provided a small vanity mirror; however, the mirror fell off its stand when tilted. • Bathtub & Shower: The bathtub is deep with a high step-in and no wall grab bars (though a rubber mat is provided). Water from the shower sprays onto the floor and side panel, causing visible water damage and soft wood on the side of the tub. Additionally, there was black mold in the wall corners. I believe that there are rooms with walk-in showers. • Plumbing & Hygiene: Both the sink and tub drained slowly, and the toilet required 2–3 flushes every time. The ceiling extraction fan was covered in dust and dirt. Common Areas & Public Spaces • Cleanliness: Hallways and reception areas are poorly maintained. Windows near the lift had noticeable cobwebs, and garbage was visible on the roof outside the window. • Decor: The artificial flower arrangements throughout the hotel are dusty. Breakfast • Service & Hygiene: On two occasions, our dining table had a hole in it. One morning, the table was left dirty from a previous guest, and the server attempted to sweep away sugar and food debris using his bare hand. • Food & Drink Quality: Water from the hot water machine was not hot enough for tea (staff did bring a pot of boiling water upon request). Coffee is machine-only. • Selection: Yogurt is restricted to high-sugar/flavored varieties, fruit salad is offered but no whole fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), and bread options are strictly white or standard brown with no whole-grain choices. Know Before You Go As a reminder and the hotel doesn't advertise that they have these options, be aware that the hotel does not provide the following basic amenities in the rooms: • No air conditioning • No in-room safe • No refrigerator • No USB wall outlets Final Thoughts While the reception staff were generally friendly and tried to assist with our immediate requests (eg provided an ice bucket) their polite attitude cannot mask the overall lack of basic maintenance and hygiene. When we pointed out these ongoing issues at checkout so they could be resolved for the next guest, staff became defensive and blamed us for not reporting everything during our stay. This property is in urgent need of a deep clean and immediate repairs/updating. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you are visiting the Yateley area.
VERY POOR was going to premier inn or Ely but family changed our minds wish i stuck to my guns bathroom black with mould round bath and wall ( said was a premium room for WHO) the picture was nothing like the room we had like a builders yard outside window pallets and dirty fire escape from upper level. our concerns were pushed aside with waffle said they never received our email we got home 4 days later got all emails of computer again fobbed off. would no recommend to my enemies.
Excellent and very friendly and helpful staff
Tired hotel in need of updating and in cold weather the central heating needs to be switched on - I don't expect to have to sleep in my clothes to stay warm If you have low occupancy better to cook breakfast on demand rather than leave food over heat for 2+ hours - the bacon was like leather.
Stayed here for a couple of nights. The front of house staff were the best. The hotel is a beautiful old building but needs TLC. Our room had everything you needed but not quite there. At 6.30 am I thought a herd of elephants were going past my door, I later learnt a lot of workmen use the hotel so they were off to work. Breakfast had everything you wanted but had been laying around for a long time. On our second day, there was only 5 tables set up for breakfast so instead of a buffet breakfast why not cook to order? It would have been so fresh and hot and less waste. The hotel has 2 floors but the lift only goes to some rooms on the first floor. there are a lot of odd steps around the hotel, not very easy for some.
Daughter held a wedding reception here. Staff friendly enough and helpful, Nice surroundings. The food was awful , well overpriced !! Even at half the price it would have been expensive, didn't cater for a celiac . Did email the hotel the next day , but no response to date , hence only the one star ! Very disappointing !!
Fantastic stay. All members of staff are fantastic. My in laws joined with their 2 sasauge dogs and it was fabulous for them also
We booked the special romantic break weekend. Room beautifully decorated with Prosecco on ice waiting for us. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely little bar area and large restaurant. Fabulous food and wine and amazing singer Emma entertained us all evening. Hotel building is quite old and ‘quirky' and the lift doesn't access all rooms so if you need the lift, make sure you ask for accessible room when booking. Beautiful grounds, gazebo with heaters and big car park. Excellent buffet breakfast. Only negative comments are some main area carpets are looking tired and restaurant was quite chilly in the evening but we just danced more! Please try this hotel when looking in this area - a great find and we will definitely return. Thankyou Casa!
Excellent place to stay, lovely rooms, comfy bed, beautiful shower and bathroom. Nice service too.
We are a large group who attended The Casa's Musical Bingo with Disco event. This was a fun evening, which also included a finger buffet. One of our ladies is GF which we forgot to inform them. This was not a problem , they spoke to the kitchen who produced a pasta dish for her within minutes. If you are looking to hold any sort of event there, please speak to Rebekah, she is extremely helpful.
Room clean. Furniture tired. Carpet tired. Bathroom ok - good shower, but chipped bath and sink. Heating to room provided by small convector heater. The aircon/heating unit was not working. Tea/coffee tray ok, but no biscuits. Lounge area was cold despite a fire going in the evening. This areas was a bit souless, not much atmosphere with tired chairs/sofas and tables. The areas where we had breakfast was pretty much the same. Basic DIY buffet breakfast. Car park had some major potholes. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The italian restaurant integral to the hotel was amazing - fantastic food and excellent menu, although the dining area was cold - infact one woman was sitting with her coat on!! We had booked in early online and provided credit card details, but following our meal in the evening we were asked to provide a pre-approved sum of money that they could use, and then refund us any sums of money that were not used. We had never experienced this before, so just paid for the meal straightaway and did not leave a further pre-approved sum. They said it was their policy to take preapproved sums of money!! This hotel is part of Best Western's Sure Collection, but we were not impressed and won't be returning.
We booked the Casa to hold our private function of 60 guests. The staff were extremely accommodating with changes right up to the very last minute. Nothing was too much trouble and they took a lot of the stress out of organising such an event. The food was fantastic and the room well presented. We highly recommend this venue. Special thanks to Rebekah, Bobby & the team.
Lovely place. Friendly and welcoming staff, the room was comfortable with good facilities. The restaurant was superb!
Stay there on new years eve for the masquerade ball we got package that included afternoon tea, 5 course meal and a overnight stay it was absolutely fantastic for the price and staff was friendly and helpful
I stayed at this hotel on the 12th of December. We had two rooms one for me and my wife and one for my daughter the staff we were greeted by this pleasant young lady with dark hair. It was about 11 o'clock in the morning. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very nice. We got back at 10 o'clock at night after going to a wedding reception also greeted by a lovely blonde young girl which was very helpful and very friendly
Such a disappointment. The whole place is grubby throughout. My room radiators did not work. The manager needs to learn about customer service. No lift and no offer, to an elderly woman, to provide help with bags.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the radiator in your room, you informed our receptionist of the problem. When asked, you confirmed the radiator was lukewarm. Our team immediately offered to send a staff member to check it, as well as provide an additional space heater and extra blankets. These offers were declined. Around 20 minutes later, our receptionist called again to ensure you were comfortable. You advised that you were fine and trying to sleep, so she avoided disturbing you further after reiterating the same options. She also reminded you that our reception is staffed 24 hours a day, and that you were welcome to ring down at any time should you change your mind. As we received no further contact, we believed the issue had been resolved. Our housekeeping and maintenance teams work hard to keep the building clean, and after receiving your comments we sent them to double-check the areas you mentioned. With regard to your interaction with our manager, he only aimed to clarify the resolutions we offered at the time and that were declined. He was not unprofessional or rude, but simply explained the steps taken to address your concern about the room temperature. As for the lift, unfortunately it does not serve all areas of the building as we are a part 17th century building. Had you made our receptionist aware that you required assistance with your luggage, she would have been more than happy to help you to your room. This was not brought to reception's attention during your stay. We are sorry that your experience did not reflect the standards we aim to uphold, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue to improve. If you choose to stay with us again, we would welcome the opportunity to provide you with a more comfortable visit.
The scenery is lovely, the staff are so polite especially soma, we had an issue and soma was there to sort things out immediately.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Morgan! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the scenery and that Soma was able to assist you promptly — we'll be sure to pass on your kind words. It's always fantastic to know our team helped make your stay a great one, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!
This was a 1-night stay for work. Car park was free, nice friendly staff at reception. I was in room 36 which was okay in size for 1 night. TV and WiFi were good. Ensuite was okay but no heating in ensuite. Bed was comfortable, but too short for me and I am not over 6 feet tall. Radiator in room did not work but there was an electric heater in room. I also ate in restaurant attached to hotel, food was lovely, service was not fast.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Ian. We're glad to hear you found our staff friendly, the car park convenient, and enjoyed the food in our restaurant. Regarding your room, room 36 is a single room with a double bed, whereas our double rooms feature king-sized beds, which may explain the difference in bed length. All our bathrooms are fitted with heated towel rails, and we're sorry yours was not working during your stay. Had we been made aware at the time, we would have been happy to check it for you or provide an additional space heater to ensure your comfort. We appreciate your comments and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more seamless experience in the future.
I had a lovely weekend here with my mum and sister. We stayed 2 nights for a wedding we were attending in the area. The bed's were comfy, the bathroom was great and the breakfast delicious. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful too. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again if I was in the area.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're delighted to hear that you, your mum, and sister enjoyed your stay and that the beds, bathroom, and breakfast all met your expectations. It's wonderful to know our team made you feel welcome and supported during your visit. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back whenever you're in the area!
Had an amazing stay at the casa. I booked the romantic stay package and it was truly magical. My partners birthday was awesome and wouldn't definitely recommend as we will be staying again.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that the Romantic Stay package helped make Suzi's birthday so special and that you had a truly magical experience at the Casa. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we can't wait to welcome you both back for another memorable stay.
The location is a bit remote, which means it was very quiet. Our room was clean and tidy and ok for an overnight stay. We were attending a wedding near by. We received at warm welcome at reception. We had paid extra for an early check-in. We had booked a room with a walk-in shower, but we didn't get one even though our booking was confirmed with it, this was extremely disappointing. Breakfast was a traditional buffet style, which was reasonable. It was just about value for money. The hotel is in need of a bit of a face lift as it is a bit tired looking.
The hotel is ready for a big overhaul. Although welcoming, the parts I saw, were very tired. The reception and bar area are dark and look old and in need of refurbishment. The rooms are ok, nothing special. But not bad Just mediocre. In this ever increasing competitive world, standards need to be higher
We had our wedding ceremony here and while the outdoor area was gorgeous and exactly what we needed. The overall experience, unfortunately wasn't great. Leading up to the wedding, I had to chase to pay for the venue - well passed the ‘due date' for the payment which just added another thing to my to do list. As well as this, the month leading up to the big day we emailed on multiple occasions with questions and queries - all of which were left unanswered. We stayed the night before the wedding and the room was fine but we were awoken to something loud and banging out in the car park at 5am on the morning which was unfortunate. Furthermore it seemed that there had been zero communication between the reception, wedding and us. On the morning of the wedding, the wedding organiser was fine, but a little unhelpful. Despite them having multiple pictures on their social media of it confetti was not allowed when i brought up that there were these pictures on social media and had they answered my emails i wouldn't have wasted money on it. I was met with a blunt no so you should probably take said pictures down save another couple from doing the same. Finally they messed up our music on multiple occasions throughout the ceremony, so clearly our email where we explicitly laid out what we wanted was also ignored. To top it all off, we stayed the evening of the wedding and were told on check in that breakfast was included in our room only to go down the next morning and have to pay £12 each for a greasy full english and a couple of cereals. The saving grace was how pretty it was but the organisation wasn't great which is not what you need!
We stayed at Casa hotel for a family wedding at the Rivervale barns, great close location. Large car park. Welcoming, friendly staff. Hotel was very quaint. Rooms nice. Food in restaurant was lovely. Breakfast also good. Only very slight criticism is that it looks a little “tired” in general, in particular the outdoor area could do with a little “ spruce up”, our shower curtain had stains on but everything else in room was good so only minor thing.( other family members staying also used the wording “ a little tired” However…. The service and friendliness of the staff made up for any minor issues, they were all fantastic! So welcoming, friendly ( and funny!) Sofia went above and beyond standing a card and banner on our breakfast table as I'd told her it was my fiancés 60 th birthday that day. Overall a great, cozy, friendly place to stay with a great Italian restaurant. Thank you Casa Hotel
Spent 2 nights here to meet up with friends from Kent. Very friendly welcome and room was spacious and clean. On ground floor overlooking car park. Buffet breakfast was very good. Staff all very friendly especially the young ladies on reception. Perfect visit.
A fantastic meal at the amazing Italian restaurant. All the more memorable when I asked for a rose for my wife but unfortunately they could not do but gave us a lovely treat at the end of our amazing meal. A plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate and some cake on ... simple yet thoughtful..Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so pleased to hear you had a fantastic meal with us and that our team could help make your anniversary dinner a little more special. We're glad the surprise at the end added a thoughtful touch to your evening. It means a lot to us that you chose to celebrate with us—thank you again, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
We stayed at the Casa Hotel the night before our wedding at Rivervale Barn, a deeply meaningful and once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and added a great deal of avoidable stress. Despite booking well in advance and making it clear we were the bridal couple (with multiple rooms booked under our name), the hotel showed very little consideration. My 70-year-old mother was placed directly next to a large, extremely loud party – not just noisy, but with vibrations so strong they shook her room. She and others had to call down to ask for the music to be turned down. Meanwhile, my partner and I were placed directly above the bar, where the party continued until 2am. Although we were eventually offered another room, we were woken again at 4am by drunk guests shouting in the halls. When I went to reception to report this, no one was present. This was a horrible way to spend the night before my wedding, at that point I cried myself to sleep. We understand it was a weekend and the hotel hosts events, but surely greater thought should be given to where bridal parties and elderly guests are placed, especially when this was raised in advance. We'd even been warned some rooms are noisier than others, so it's disappointing that we were knowingly assigned them. While the front desk staff on the night were friendly, it was too late to make a meaningful difference. We were later offered a £120 refund - the cost of just our room - but this felt more like a correction for the service not received than a true gesture of goodwill. With 5 rooms booked by us and at least 35-40 by our wedding guests, this did not reflect the scale of the impact. As we had recommended this place to our guests it was not only disappointing but embarrassing. Despite following up multiple times, we've had no full response or clarity on what happened or what steps are being taken to prevent this for others. Given that it is a recommended hotel to its couples, we feel it's important to share our experience. We truly hope the hotel takes steps to improve – but sadly, based on our stay, we cannot recommend the Casa Hotel.
Booked the romantic package, good parking facilties, receptionist was friendly, smooth check in,5 minutes into our room prosecco was delivered.we decided to drink it in the garden as it was a warm afternoon.our room was very comfortable and decorated with flowers.our evening meal was superb.all of the staff were very friendly and helpful.we could not fault anything.breakfast was great as well.would recommend to anybody.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're glad you enjoyed the romantic package and it's great to hear you had a smooth check-in, a superb evening meal, and a comfortable stay overall. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you both back again soon!
The stay was amazing and the staff were so happy and helpful. And as for the food that was out of this world. Went for a birthday treat and the staff even sang to me I couldn't of been happier. Tha m you so much to the staff for making it an amazing stay.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you had such an amazing stay and that our team made your birthday extra special. It means a lot to us that you felt welcomed and cared for and we're delighted you enjoyed the food too! We hope to welcome you back again soon for another wonderful stay.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear you had a great stay while attending the wedding. It's lovely to know you found the room comfortable, enjoyed the shower, and slept well. We're also glad you appreciated the variety at breakfast and the attentiveness of our staff. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you and your family back again soon!
Internet did not work in my room (number 49), paing £100 a night. I stayed for 2 nights. The first night I got to my room by 10 pm thinking I'd get an early night as I had a wedding to attend to the next day. If only I'd known what would be in store for me! This hotel has a party venue which had been booked. The music and bass was so so loud that items in my room were vibrating along the beat, making it impossible to sleep. I had not been informed about this in advance whatsoever. If I'd known they had a venue that would be booked out and be blasting music until midnight, I would definitely not have booked this hotel! When I called down to reception they said they were very sorry and they'd let the manager know to see if there's anything they could do for me. The next evening the same thing happened, venue was booked with loud music on until midnight. When I checked out the next morning and asked about the offer to possibly compensate me in some way, the receptionist said they didn't know anything about it and to email the hotel with my issues to see if anything can be done. Long story short, terrible hotel, terrible experience!
Stayed for one night with 3 colleagues as my normal one was fully booked. Rooms were great, recently decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable and talking to the others we all slept well. Plenty available for breakfast and was OK (could of been a bit warmer) .Meal in the evening was lovely the gent that served us was a real character. Overall good hotel, great staff, have already booked again for my next business trip to the area
A one night stay to be near Blackbushe airfield the next day. A great hotel dating from the 17th century. The room was spacious and well equipped, tea/coffee making in the room. We also ate in the restaurant which was very good. Parking is free and seemed very secure (CCTV on carpark). We would stay here again!
We stayed here whilst our home under went repair works. Our initial thoughts were that the room is basic and tired but don't be fooled, on the plus side the bed is extremely comfortable, an excellent night's sleep, peaceful surroundings and the food is unbelievably good!
