We stayed at the Media One Hotel from September 19th to September 26th to celebrate my birthday. Ahead of our arrival, I had requested a quiet room with a nice view and twin beds, as we knew from previous reviews that the hotel has a very vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. Upon check-in, we were allocated the exact room category we booked (no complimentary upgrade was available for free), and the windows were quite dusty on the outside. Furthermore, our first dinner under the set-menu system at the Qwerty restaurant disappointed. The portions (a chicken breast and a chicken nugget with mayonnaise) felt for me too small for a proper dinner, and we left the restaurant not full. Knowing that the situation required administrative attention, we reached out directly to the hotel's top management via LinkedIn. The response was immediate, and this completely turned our holiday around in the best possible way! The very next day, the management team took full control of the situation: • Dining drastically improved: The dinners became significantly more filling and diverse, with portion sizes carefully monitored. • Attention to detail: The windows of our room were promptly cleaned from the outside. • A generous gesture: The hotel kindly provided us with a complimentary deposit as a gesture of goodwill for the initial inconvenience. We spent it in the Restaurant at 8th floor (Food is really delicious!), not felt overpriced, compared to street prices. I enjoyed it. The rest of our vacation and the birthday itself were absolutely wonderful. We were surrounded by the staff's genuine care and high attention to detail every day. Conclusion: Media One is a hotel with a fantastic management team that truly listens to its guests and knows how to transform initial hiccups into a first-class service experience. If you ever face any issues here, do not hesitate to reach out to the management—they will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable!

I truly enjoyed my time at the hotel; it's beautiful, the rooms are excellent, and everything is superb. The staff are funny and always smiling at guests. There's a receptionist named Emily, and others named Pianau Neva and Jamoudi—they're really funny. They ask about your stay, whether you're happy or not, and they can change anything you don't like. I've booked several times and I've memorized their names. I hope to return soon.

Had an amazing experience staying at the Hotel, Let me break it down for you. Front Office - On the day of arrival, the front office team member Nivaa was very accommodating and thoughtful enough to give me a heads-up about the World Cup roars coming from Level 8. With the help of Gowri, they kindly moved me to a quieter side of the hotel to ensure my sleep wouldn't be interrupted. Ahmed handled the room change the next day, and everything from the room shift to the communication was done swiftly and professionally. Ciao Bella (Breakfast Area) The made-to-order options and healthy spread provided the perfect balance of nutrition and fresh coffee. Don and Nura did an excellent job with crowd control and prompt service, ensuring our breakfast arrived on time. Melissa meticulously kept our table clean and took our orders accurately. Chef Ram's Saturday pancakes are something I always look forward to. Special mention goes to Mishal, the heart of Ciao Bella, who expertly kept my caffeine levels in check. His skill in preparing coffee at the perfect temperature is truly admirable. Green on 8 This is the perfect spot to watch any match whether it's rugby, tennis or football. The atmosphere and mood are on another level. The Guinness pints are crisp and fresh, and the happy hour spread offers plenty of great choices. Micky has been an excellent hostess. She went the extra mile to accommodate our silly request for a closer screen without hesitation. Lastly, our favourite guy, Big Dave - this man single-handedly managed our group with extreme professionalism and a gentle touch. Kudos to him for always putting the customer's best interest at heart. Housekeeping I'd like to sincerely thank Percy for keeping the room spotless and clean every day. She kindly accommodated my request not to tuck in the blanket and did so without any fuss. She's really good at her job and always makes the room feel extra comfortable. Overall My stay at this hotel for nearly three weeks has been amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

The room a big space I feel at home very quiet I am very comfortable I forget all my problems while watching in tv no one disturb.and the bathroom is very clean and smell good and everything is there. It is close to the city center and beach, cool to take a city walk on the beach after dinner. The rooms cleanliness is good. the windows seal is good to prevent the noise below the buildings, makes your sleeping quiet. Also they would provide any kind of help if you need.

We had a lovely experience, booking directly from the reception was cheaper than booking from a third party The room size was fine i would prefer a bigger bed size for two but they didn't charge for thw guest so that is fair The food was amazing, that was the most excellent part 👌

The hotel was also very easy to locate, making the overall experience even more convenient. Overall, a pleasant stay with great hospitality and beautiful views.

Our stay here is one of the unforgettable bond with my family. The place is cozy and has an amazing interior design. From interact with receptionist Bayana (guess her name like this 😁) I could make out that it is going to be a great Staycation experience. She took my heart with kindness & welcoming attitude. So pleasant lady , regardless a confusion which I made during my booking she could solve it soon and she was so generous with us to give us late check out and pampering us with most Magnificat room view. Really appreciate the room she gave us was so clean , heart touching view, could not move out of bed. All amenities were available in room or out. Love the idea of ordering refilling water & food through TV screen. And in minutes they served it . Thanks for the room espresso, my favorite. Pool was one of the best. Enjoyed it alot. Amazing part and lovely smell of corridors, so fresh. Thanks again & again we had unforgeable experience which we will look to repeat again & again.

In room entertainment is nice, music and movies all super good. There are a lot of dining options, and hotel is very near to parks and the area is a good walk. Overall it was a very good and relaxing stay.

We have the opportunity to stay in Media One Hotel Dubai and it was really fantastic. I stayed with my partner for the first time and it was a memorable one. From the check in, the Front Desk were friendly and helpful. They gave us a Polaroid photo as a souvenir. We love the room as it was spacious, clean, and gives a different look and feel. It is a fun vibe and atmosphere. We used the pool and it was big and nice seating. We were able to relax and almost fell asleep after swimming. We were supposed to dine in but woke up late from moving around Dubai. The hotel is ideally located to Dubai Harbour, JBR beach among a few tourist attractions. It was a nice evening stroll. We will definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you the entire team of Media One Hotel Dubai! A true guest experience worth remembering.

The check-in was seamless, and the room had a fantastic view of the Marina. Even though it was a short stay, I managed to grab a drink at Garden on 8, which had a brilliant atmosphere. It's the perfect place if you want to be close to the action. I'll definitely be back when I need a stay that's both stylish and convenient.

I had a great stay at Media One Hotel last weekend with my partner. The check-in process was quick and very friendly, Ahmed was especially welcoming. When he noticed we were Colombian, he recommended a Latin event happening that same night at one of the hotel's restaurants, which turned out to be fantastic. Although we didn't spend much time at the pool due to the cloudy weather, it's a good size, temperature-controlled, and offers food and beverage service on-site. The room was spotless, cozy, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We requested an extra blanket, and it arrived in less than five minutes. All the staff were very kind, and I really liked the hotel's modern-industrial vibe. The gym is also well-equipped, with everything needed for a simple full-body or cardio workout. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

He was there to answer any questions and helped me in great detail when I needed to get to Oman, arranging cars and checking in along tge way and even when I arrived back in the Uk. Absolutely Disgraceful and Dangerous – The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! No words can fully capture the anger, disappointment, and sheer horror I felt during my stay at this hotel. This is not just a bad hotel — it is an unsafe, inhumane, and potentially life-threatening place. I strongly urge every traveler, especially families, to stay far away. The nightmare began when hotel management emailed me demanding I be moved from my room on the 18th floor to another floor, claiming business was slow. I clearly explained that I could not move for medical reasons. Two days later, the Operations Manager Danis sent an official email confirming it was fine — they had new guests and I could stay. Then, just two days after that, he reversed it again, insisting I had to move because they wanted to save money by closing the entire floor. I refused the unreasonable relocation. In retaliation, management instructed the hotel engineers to switch off my air conditioning. The engineers themselves confirmed this to me directly. They then sent me an email threatening to stop all housekeeping, refuse to clean my room, and not even remove the garbage. They followed through on every threat. The AC remained off, no cleaning was done for days, and garbage piled up until it created a foul smell and attracted insects. My room became filthy, unbearable, and hazardous to my health. Even worse, every member of the hotel staff privately told me that management is pressuring me to move from my room “even if you die — they don't care about you.” This was not an isolated opinion; multiple staff members expressed their own unhappiness and encouraged me to take legal action, saying the management treats employees just as poorly. The situation escalated horrifically three days ago. While I was at the office, they called and demanded I return to the hotel immediately. There, under camera surveillance, the management — particularly Danis and Ahmed Faraz — pressured and threatened me so aggressively that I lost consciousness and collapsed into a coma-like state. Shockingly, they did not call an ambulance until I regained consciousness and begged them to do so. When paramedics arrived, they discovered my oxygen levels were critically low, my heart was nearly failing, and I was on the verge of death. Even after this terrifying medical emergency, the threats continued. I have now engaged a lawyer, and the case is proceeding in court. In the past, I suffered food poisoning here and they begged me not to report it to the authorities. I have also repeatedly found insects in the room, and staff urged me not to post about it. Today, I am still sitting in a room with no air conditioning, in filthy conditions that are severely worsening my health and skin. When I complained, they simply repeated: “Move to another floor first so we can save money — you're the only guest on the 18th floor.” This is not hospitality. This is extortion, neglect, and endangerment of a guest's life for the sake of cutting costs. There is zero humanity, zero responsibility, and zero accountability here. Warning to all travelers: Do not choose this hotel under any circumstances. Your safety, health, and well-being are at real risk. I trusted them with my life and nearly lost it. Learn from my experience.

Breakfast The breakfast isn't a huge buffet, but it's very high quality and thoughtfully put together. Fresh pastries, fruit, and a well-selected range of options are more than enough. The chia pudding in particular was outstanding. You can also order à la carte, with different egg variations from omelettes to poached eggs. Avocado toast and French toast are freshly prepared, and coffee specialties like espresso and cappuccino are available alongside warm dishes. It's the perfect balance between quality and variety. Service in the restaurant is attentive, fast, and very friendly. You immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is lively, with slightly louder music, which fits the lifestyle vibe of the hotel and Dubai in general. Room & Location We were very satisfied with the room. Modern, clean, and comfortable. The location is a major advantage. Getting a taxi via app is quick and easy, and you're perfectly positioned between Downtown, Dubai Marina, and the Palm. There's a direct highway connection nearby, but without disruptive traffic. Taxis in Dubai are also very affordable, which makes getting around from this location even more convenient. Since we used taxis for everything, this was ideal. There's also a small supermarket within walking distance, perfect for stocking up on water, plus two nearby restaurants. Special Thanks to Rawan What truly made this stay special was Rawan. She always had a genuine smile, was incredibly warm, and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. She took time for us, shared valuable tips, checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and was always there whenever we needed anything. Because of her, the hotel felt personal. Not just a place to stay, but a place you connect with. Postscript After our departure, I realized that I had forgotten a very valuable personal item at the hotel. I contacted the team and received an exceptionally fast response. The item was immediately secured and arranged for international shipping back to me. I would like to personally highlight Mirra's outstanding help and commitment. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine willingness to assist turned a stressful situation into a very reassuring experience. Clear recommendation.

ALERT I booked Media One Hotel via Vio.com in November 25. Three hours after the booking, I started receiving whatsapp messages from different senders asking me to confirm the booking and for paying. I sent a message to the hotel and email to Vio.com asking about the suspicious whatsapp messages and both of them said to me that the data breach did not start with them. The Media One Hotel and Vio.com confimed to me that their system does not send whataspp messages to any client. I canceled the booking with Vio.com but messages continue to come to me. It means that Media One Hotel and Vio.com washed their hands about the data breach and nobody is responsible for anything. However I continue to receive scams through whatsapp for me to confirm booking and pay. If you need any documentation, contact me that I sent you all the emails exchanged with the hotels and authorities about the case

Fair stay with one significant drawback - the pool area gets very little sun and is mostly shady. The hotel is nice overall and makes a good first impression with an impressive lobby. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the gym was well-equipped and pleasantly quiet during my visits. There's also a nice bar area showing sports, which was a good place to relax in the evening. The main issue for me was the pool area. Although it's attractively designed and well laid out, it receives very little direct sun. When I asked at reception — while another guest was raising the same concern — I was told there are only small pockets of the day when the sun reaches certain spots. Unfortunately, every time I went it was fully shaded and often windy. If your priority is spending time by a sunny pool, this may not be the best choice. Otherwise, the hotel itself is comfortable and well maintained. This was a shame for us as my wife enjoys time in the sun. The alternative of paying for access to another hotel or resort's facilities with sun, away from the hotel is far from ideal.

The valet service is the worst that I have ever experienced. Not for the first time they just seemed to lose my car. I missed a work meeting - and it cost me more than my whole stay at the hotel. Another guy that tried to get his car like 10 minutes after me got his car at least 10 minutes before me, and I was pretty much the only person there! Any other views I have on the hotel are totally dwarfed by the valet here. I usually come to Garden on 8 too, but I'm not sure I would even risk that any more. As I say, this is not the first time. It is no exaggeration to say I almost died after, as I was in such a rush I almost had a very bad accident.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Media One Hotel Dubai, and especially about Ashu. I arrived at Media One after a complete disaster with another hotel. My original reservation elsewhere had fallen apart, and I was stressed, exhausted, and stuck in the middle of fighting for a refund. I called Media One reception in a panic, and Ashu answered. From that very first phone call, he went above and beyond. He kindly blocked a room for me even though it took me forever to actually arrive, as I was still dealing with the mess at the other hotel. The moment I stepped into Media One and was welcomed by Ashu in person, everything changed. Despite how frustrated I was, he made me feel calm, safe, and genuinely cared for. It instantly felt like home. He comforted me, reassured me, and even offered me a discounted rate, which I truly appreciated given the situation I was coming from. On top of that, Ashu surprised me with an upgraded suite for the first two nights, which was spacious, spotless, and extremely well maintained. The attention to cleanliness and detail was impressive. After that, I moved into a smaller room, which was also very clean, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. It's clear the hotel takes great pride in housekeeping and overall upkeep. The hotel is good for business trips with a lovely gym and swimming pool. I found that the staff is very well trained and kind. I want to mention that a receptionist was really helpful. Mina from reception was amazing we really loved her All the amenities are great, well equipped and super clean such as the gym, the sauna, the pool, the restaurants, the rooms. The restaurants (both ciao Bella and qwerty) are absolutely delicious. Its location is amazing, close to the main spots and attractions, Dubai marina, jbr beach, palm Jumeira etc. Even the views from the room were amazing, we stayed for 6 days and I left wanting more :) Overall it was a perfect experience and I really recommend, I will come back every time now. Mina kept checking on us and politely and professionally looking after us my wife is pregnant and she made sure of her safety and wellbeing all the time . Mina is such a friendly person to talk to and have a conversation she even recommended where to go and visit around the hotel . Had a brilliant weekend stay at Media One, and the highlight was hands-down the check-in. We were welcomed by Niva at the reception, and her genuine warmth and positive energy completely set the tone for our entire stay. It wasn't just a transaction; her friendly attitude made us feel instantly happy to be there and gave us a pizza which was awesome. The hotel it self is great—coolio vibe and very comfy but it's staff like Niva who make a place truly memorable(thanks forthe pizza ). She is a superstar, and we'll be back just for that amazing welcome!

Just wanted to say how amazing Ms. Nivaa at the reception was during our stay. From the moment we arrived, her smile and laughter made us feel super welcome. She's honestly great with people and made everything so easy for us. She helped us with whatever we needed and even told us about the current offers available, which was really helpful. I had a great stay at Media One Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the cheerful staff—starting at reception—made me feel welcome. In particular, Nivaa was especially helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The hotel is well-equipped with multiple elevators, which made getting to and from my room quick and convenient. Room service was excellent, and the hotel features four restaurants offering a wide variety of dishes to suit different tastes.

Mina served me several times for the couples days I spends in the hotel, and she is treating the costumer with kindness and a smile, Thanks again to media one and thank you Mina🌹

The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Especially Emily , valentina,nivaa, nadia , shahul , My room was spotless, spacious, and had a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided made my stay extra convenient. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was consistently fresh and delicious. Location-wise, it's close to everything I needed—restaurants, shops, and attractions. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting . They came to make surprises for birthday is so lovely.

The location is perfect, rooms are clean comfortable and the service is amazing staff member we're welcoming and helpful,, the only thing that they need to work on is the breakfast, i tried it twice and the rest of my stay I went out side the hotel to eat.

From the first moment I came to the reception, the warmest welcome and smiling receptionists, the highest level of service made a good impression. The room had issues, but it was resolved quickly and promptly by the front desk manager and a little gesture from the team made my evening.

The room was the most beautiful ever with a beautiful view the linen was the softest and the pillows were the fluffiest. I felt at home and the staff would always check with me if I need anything.

The Hotel is very vibrant and gives good vibes from all the different spaces in the hotel. Check in process was very smooth and welcoming thanks to Rita . Rooms are well maintained and the staff does a good job to personalize your stay. They have a very nice bar and outdoor space Garden on 8 with great food and vibes. Swimming pool area is very relaxing. Location is very ideal . They have these querky signs that add great personality to the place. Great place to stay!

Had a perfect post birthday celebration at Media One Hotel, trust me and youll not get any disappointments in any aspects: Thanks to Shahul for the comp. birthday room upgrade, twas so nice! and also to lovely Emily who assisted me well upon arrival to check-i, so friendly and welcoming team. Chill out room on 13 floor, the room provided was so clean, spotless, with the view. You will not get any delay from your room request, thanks to housekeeping team Hamad & Sanni (hope got the name correctly) QWERTY - we had group dinner with friends, the food are more even mouthwatering, Singaporean Noodles so much!!. Also got a surprise piece of cake from the team, thanks to Salome & hostess for your birthday wishes. Ciao Bella - we had late lunch. Foods were delicous if your looking for Italian dish. Thanks to Anna for the service, we are well taken care of. Thank you once again, you made my day super special!

The staff of the hotel are the most cooperative. Hamid is very decent, generous and helpful. There was nothing I needed that wasn't done to the best of their abilities. Breakfast is awesome too. I highly recommend this place

Great experience at the Dubai Media One hotel. After pointing out a small issue with my initial room, I was quickly swapped to a larger room which was offered as a complimentary upgrade. All the staffs I encountered during my short stay were very friendly and professional. A special thank you to Hameed who was extra kind and helpful during my check-out process and congrats on the upcoming 10 year work anniversary.
