Best Western Plus Hotel Victoria Inn & Suites, Victoria

Had an excellent stay and a great base for excursions to the coast. If you stay here don't miss eating at the Pumphouse. The bed had a super soft topper, the breakfast was hot and the breakfast server was extremely kind and friendly. The staff was helpful and checked me in very quickly. We'll be back.

Booked a week stay for my vacation and left the very next day after my arrival. Not very clean, roach in the bathroom. Worst part is it didn't seem like it was a big deal to the manager. Not worth the cost.

Pleasantly surprised! The room was very clean and did not have the odd smell that you experience when staying in a hotel. Everything was well stocked. Bed quite comfortable and it was pretty quiet. Just an occasional noise every now and then. Checking in and out was a breeze! No problems at all. My husband and I plan on staying again. Great for a quick getaway and an evening of relaxation. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

I love to stay here. The staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean, spacious, and bed is soft and comfortable. The breakfast was hot to go and included omelet, bacon, sausage and potatoes. I stay here once a month and enjoy it every time.

The people here are wonderful Lori, cindi and the rest employees are fantastic will definitely be back. Best hotel here in Victoria Texas. Always clean and the beds are super comfortable. Restrooms are clean towels are soft ..

Everything was fine with the room. Breakfast was very good. My one complaint is that the pool and hot tub were closed, and the reason stated was that it was out of season and they never open until mid-April. Please mention this fact on the amenities list of the hotel so guests like us are not surprised. I feel it is improper to advertise that you have a hot tub and feature the photo of the pool and hot tub as the hotel's primary picture when it is not even planned to be available. When I complained of this the manager argued with me and falsely told me that all hotels in the area with outdoor pools have the same policy. I called a neighboring hotel with open outdoor pool and moved there for the second night of our stay in Victoria. It is very bad form to lie when arguing with your guests.

We apologize for the inconvenience of our pool being closed. To our best knowledge the surrounding pools in the area that were outdoor normally do not open until mid April, as we try to keep our outdoor pool closing/opening schedule the same with our neighboring hotels. Our pool area had remained closed due to the water temperature being to cold to swim for our guest. We value all of our guest and are always striving to deliver a superior experience during their stay. While also making our guest safety our top priority. Was in town for work, need a quiet place to rest my head and some good WiFi. This placed delivered! Super quiet. Great rooms. Nice hot to go breakfast. Great WiFi. Everything I needed for my stay. Staff was super helpful.

Our trip was for surgery at the Victoria hospital. The staff just embraced us and showed concern for us. They asked my husband daily how I was doing. The made sure the room was clean and sheets were changed when I came back. They were extremely helpful when I had a medical setback and had to return to the hospital. They extended our stay and made sure we had updated keys. When we returned later that day they basically were a welcoming committee at the door! They are amazing and I'd strongly recommend you stay here.

Nice, quiet and more importantly- Clean! The hotel is great, staff is excellent, felt safe during stay and we could tell they keep the place super clean. My new favorite spot in Victoria. Anything we needed, they took care of.

The hotel is situated in beautiful, Victoria, TX. There is lots to see in Victoria and a little town down the road by the name of Cuero. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Stayed here 2 nights. Rooms were very clean and appeared to be remodeled. Was a little wary of the tub. The bottom seemed,to have a curve to it. Was a bit nervous about falling. Very nice staff. Would stay here again

Stayed here while doing some business in town. The staff was more the willing to help, rooms were large and clean, amazing breakfast and very quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel when in town. Can't wait to return.

everyone was simply wonderful! and when I opened the door of the room, there was the sweetest smell of some kind of flowers! it was awesome! The beds were very good, the shower was the second best I ever used ( 1st goes to BW Flatonia)

I greatly enjoy staying at the Victoria BW. The staff are always welcoming (especially the lady who works in the breakfast dinning area). The hotel is very clean and very quiet. Guaranteed a great night sleep! The Victoria BW is in a great location very near several retail stores and restaurants in Victoria! I did a lot of my Christmas shopping nearby! You cannot beat the value for a great stay!

As usual, this Hotel never dissapoints us. We were a little early and we were still able to check in. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I got extra towels and pillows as I had requested when I booked the room. Patsy in the breakfast area is great. Very friendly and breakfast was delicious. We always get offers from other Hotels in this city, but we always stay at this Hotel because we get such friendly service and the rooms never dissapoint. You will not be disappointed in this Hotel. Had a really great stay at this hotel while on business in Victoria Texas. Staff was very courteous, helpful, and friendly. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. All of the room amenities were in good working order with no issues. The breakfast was very good with several options.

Came to town for a family wedding on October 2019, made reservations on January 2019. Reserved three (3) rooms but they still managed to get it wrong. Had me checked in on wrong dates, cancelled two (2) rooms on their own by mistake. What should have been a simple check in took over 30 minutes. Still had to have manager come in and correct everything. When things were finally straighten out, went to room only too find air conditioner not working, handicap bathtub rails broken, saw roaches in the room and dry blood stains on what was suppose to be clean bed cover. Hotel had musty, old hotel odor even though it's about one (1) year old. At least hotel manager was accommodating and acknowledged their mistakes. Will think again before we book a room here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet rooms and nice décor. Free breakfast was above average. Would definite stay here again. It's location is good for easy on off of highway and very close to shopping areas.

Lobby was stuffy/hot. Key card quit working twice (holding it in my hand, not near any devices). They were IMMEDIATELY replaced without hesitation. Breakfast coffee was by freeze dried machine. No fresh available.

As pleasant an experience as one could ask for. Stop in to this BW property with friendly folks nice large rooms all the amenities expected in the room, no, no candy on the pillow, but that costs anextra 50 a night where you get that, bowl of soft mints on the registration counter though. Pool, large TV, comfy bed to sink into, fridge, micro, nice bath linens, computer/reading table for the bed. You can't go wrong here - try it out!

I have stayed here many times, it is the only hotel I look at when going to Victoria.. It is a great hotel with friendly employees. Parking is good and it is pretty close to everything. The pool and hot tub are always clean and refreshing.

This was a very pleasant stay. The staff is very professional. The rooms are nicely updated and clean. They are located in a great spot for close by shoping and places to eat. For the semi truck drivers you can park at the shoping plaza next door.

Check your bill at check-out if you stay here. Knowledge of the BW product is limited. This hotel did not apply my $20 travel coupon, even though they insisted they did. Breakfast was the only bright spot. This stay solidified my belief that the BW product in the USA, compared to Asia and Europe, is a poor product.

This is my favorite hotel in Victoria. The beds are very comfortable. The morning breakfast is always good. They are remodeling & updating the hotel. But the people working here are always friendly & helpful. It's also nearby the malls, shopping centers & restaurants.

This Best Western never disappoints. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I always get checked in right away even if I get there early. The rooms are very clean and the bed is so comfortable. I always get extra pillows and towels if I request them. The breakfast is always hot and very good. I like that now I get my bill sent to my email the morning that we leave. I will not stay at another hotel in Victoria because I am never dissapointed every time we stay here. Thank you very much!!

In the area easy access off hwy. Several Stores in walking distance. Walking distance to several restaurants. Quite rooms. Breakfast had hot and cold items. Well lit parking area. Outdoor Pool. Nice size Tv.

The decor of the hotel was warm and inviting. I particularly liked the use of wood trim.My room was spacious and featured my always appreciated microwave and fridge.The bath towels were cushy soft and had a designer pattern --not the usual plain old scratchy white. Loved the hair dryer! The breakfast choices included everything from cereal to omelettes. The staff member in charge of the area made sure that all items were kept fully stocked and she went out of her way to be sure each guest's experience there was a pleasant one.

Enjoyed a few days with family while attending the county fair in my hometown which is about 40mins from this BW. I like staying at the Victoria BW because it is very near the mall, places to eat the 7/11, gas stations and near family. Plus, the cost to stay is very reasonable.

My overall experience with Best Western is favorable. This one has a high quality rating which I check thru TripAdvisor! When I checked in I was given the worst King bedroom in the place? The room had missing amenities (no hair dryer) about 6pm, my wife asked me did I think an earthquake was occurring ! I looked at my bottle of spring water on the bedside counter it was shaking violently. I called the front desk at first the lady said they were not experiencing anything. I advised her to come to our room located directly above her. I was then advised that maybe it was the washing machine and it will be shutting off soon. She then told me she could move us to another room? My question is as a “Rewards Member “ why give me one of the worst rooms in the hotel? Does their excellent rating need to be revised!

Consistantly friendly staff and well managed BW location, clean with nice bath linens, large roomy rooms, nice TV, comfy beds with laptop table available, fridge could stand to have a FREEZER!Good I-net, nice breakfast, fitness facility, really nothing else needed and I must say this is the place I stay at the most all year. Try it out, no disappointments!

This was our first time to stay at this property. We were assigned room number 107, this room had a sour odor, the best quickly assigned us a new room which was great. The room was clean, the bed was good, and the room on the 3 Rd floor was great. Breakfast was good, hot and appreciated. Easy to find this property, and easy to get back on 77. Great value.

This hotel is the best in Victoria. We have stayed at other hotels in this city and the staff is the friendliest that we have come across. Everyone from the front desk staff, the housekeepers, and the breakfast area employees are always so friendly and courteous. The rooms are always super clean and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. We don't stay anywhere else. Thank you for a great stay every time we visit.

***Good*** Check in went smoothly, the room request was accommodated, the bathroom was clean, the a/c worked, the WiFi worked and had a password requirement even though it was a poor, weak password. The breakfast choices were good and hot. ***Not good*** The outer entry doors are automatic sliding doors, but the inner doors are standard hand open type. They have a button for the handicapped to open them, but it would be so much easier on everyone if the inner doors were also automatic sliding doors. The room had a card on the bed that said the room had been thoroughly cleaned, but all I had to do was move the foot stool and found old food under it. The cleaning staff can't move a foot stool? The computer desk is not near large enough. The power port on top has just one socket. I had to string together two multi-port power strips to have enough sockets for all devices. The Ethernet cable on the table top did not work and there was no Ethernet jack where I could plug in my own Ethernet cable. The table chair is just a standard straight leg chair and it is not proper height for comfortable use. They provide a small lap table and movable mini-table, but these are not nearly adequate as there are other items that a person may likely use at the same time with a laptop. There is no lighting at the computer table, not on the floor, table, or wall. I had to make room on the computer table to put a portable light there to clearly see things. I went at 5:30 am one morning for coffee and found the person just putting out the creamer for breakfast time. Since coffee is available 24/7, why isn't the creamer also available 24/7? Also, the only creamer available is Hazelnut flavored. Why isn't unflavored creamer available? I believe there are many changes needed here.

Need to move furniture when cleaning. Bath/ Shower needs grab bars and larger shelf. Toilet should be replaced with a tall toilet. The staff were extremly friendly and helpfull. Would not recomend this hotel to any elderly people.

Stayed last night (8/15/18), staff was nice, room adequately clean and quiet. Room smelled very moldy and previously smoked in. Someone smoked marijuana in adjacent room at 5am which was really nasty. Ate their breakfast: fruit not fresh, yogurt expired. I won't stay there again.

we stayed on our way to Brownville and found this room at a rate of 50% less than at the Holliday Inn. We had stayed at the Holliday Inn several times but the price continued to rise every trip down south. We desided to give this a try and was more than happy. Play to stay again this next November on our way south for the winter.

I have been staying at this hotel on a monthly basis since this past year and the staff are always nice, appropriate, and helpful. I always request the same guest room and the staff makes sure I am able to stay in the same room and they make sure everything is situated for my arrival. For example, I always request an original remote control for the television, so I can watch shows on my Roku. On my last visit, the remote was already in my room when I arrived and I did not have to request it. This means a lot to me. The room is always clean, smells good, and I have had no issues with the room. As for the breakfast, it is always appropriate. However, it would be nice if they changed up the breakfast meat sometimes and served bacon instead of sausage, but I know this is a personal preference. Each employee I have encountered while staying at this location has been very pleasant and attentive, which makes for a comfortable stay.

The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. I asked for a room facing the parking lot and was accomadated. I asked for extra towels and there was no problem getting them immediately. The housekeeper was very friendly and courteous. The front desk staff was great at check in and check out. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Lots of varieties. Thank you for a great stay. My parents and I stayed at this hotel for one night, and we were very satisfied. It was a little bit difficult to find, but the room and view at night made it worthwhile. THis is a very good hotel near most Victoria shopping.My only qualm was that they had a rear driveway exit that literally went straight to the shopping area that was blocked off-for no apparent reason-all the time.This forced you to go four times the distance to get the the Target in the lot next door. Having said that,the room was comfortable and the bed was a s well.The bath was nice and the place was above the average on clean.The breakfast was very good-including sausage and eggs and a variety of other foods.I would stay here again,but only on the third(top)floor.The worker above us stomped around like Gorgo until midnight and was up at six am doing the same.I understand that is not the Hotel's fault.

The staff at this location is very pleasant and accommodating. My stay was excellent and I will return to the hotel. When I requested a regular remote for the television to be able to hook up my Roku and watch Amazon and Netflix, there was no issue and a regular remote was provided. The bed was more comfortable than the one at another high end hotel I usually stay at, so I was very pleased with the bed.

Staff will go out of their way to help you. Clean rooms and well located from highway. Restaurants are in a 2 mile radius of hotel and shopping is right next door and across the street. For those who attend church services, they are in close approxcinity of hotel. Very homey town.

The room is well laid out and easy to work and relax. The bed is comfortable and there is a mini fridge and microwave. It was clean and plenty of closet and drawer space. The hotel was under construction due to hurricane damage. but that wasn't the problem/ The room was not clean. I expect higher standards for this brand. When I made the reservation by phone I was told they would not honor my AARP discount. But when I checked in they did.

Our room smelled like mold and mildew. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was average. The yogurt choices were nice. The staff were very nice and professional. The guest laundry was so useful. The dryer took forever to completely dry the few items that I washed because the washer did not spin dry the items completely.

I had no success reserving a room on-line. However knowing the hotel was under renovations due to hurricane Harvey I called the hotel directly. The lady working the front counter immediately assisted me with the reservations. The room had been recently renovated (contractors are doing a great job) and the A/C is extremely quiet. The purpose of my trip was to help relatives and friends who were effected by Harvey. At the end of each day it was nice to return to a hotel where the staff are caring, friendly and understanding (THANK YOU!).

Excellent stop. This is a quiet, clean and comfy inn. Victoria is a busy city and this hotel is right off of the freeway, but you will not be bothered by any noise. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was great for our needs and we enjoyed all of the staff we met. Wish we had taken a dip in the pool, but too tired after dinner.

When we are in this area of Texas, we always reserve a room at the Best Western Plus. the staff are very friendly, helpful in all areas and are a wealth of knowledge. Our visits are always very satisfactory.

Best western motel was a nice Upon entering the front, the staff was friendly and easy check out everything went well until we got to the rooms the rooms were nice everything well put in place nice Decour cleanest no bad smells until we laid in the beds, way too soft i.e. Foam top no support on back. If you like way too soft beds I recommend it if you like a firm bed I wouldn't stay

I stay here at least twice a year and never have a bad experience. The staff are always professional and friendly. It is kept clean, beds are very comfortable, and it is quiet. This hotel was very nice and modern. It is right off the highway and easy to access. The room was very spacious and comfortable with modern decor. Everything was clean. The lobby was very welcoming and the staff was friendly.

Typical Best Western hotel. Soft bed, clean room & bathroom. Everything worked. They had a good looking breakfast but we chose to breakfast elsewhere. The only thing that I saw that needed attention was the spa by the pool. It had dirt in the bottom. Probably someone put their dirty feet or shoes in it.

Very nice and clean hotel. The price is very affordable and the staff is very friendly. Although I wanted to use the Jacuzzi and pool, I understand it was under repair. We had a very pleasant and quiet sleep which is what we needed so we could be ready for our next day challenges. There was a decent warm breakfast with eggs and sausages to accompany the tasty Texas sized waffle to help start off our day. Check out was also fast and easy as we had no wait time. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Hopefully it will be soon as we have several trips planned out to this side of Texas.

Checked in here Friday night for three nights and I was not disappointed. Check in was fast and was in my room quick. My room was on the second floor and the room had a king size bed which was very comfortable, slept well each night. There was also a chair with ottoman, work desk, 37" TV, bathroom a little small, room smelled fresh and clean upon walking in. Didn't get to use the pool, did use the exercise room and decent selection of machines, breakfast was ok, when they ran out, the lady working was quick to replenish. Great staff make this a great place to stay.

We stayed in the King suite room with plenty of space to spread out with large and very comfortable sofa and chair in separate living area. Loved the 50-inch flat screen TV and the amazing invigorating water pressure in the shower! Downloading on the computer was fast! Quiet room except for interstate noise but curtains darkened room and slept very well without being disturbed. Only issue was a sparse breakfast buffet at 6:00 a.m. Since other reviews have reported a great breakfast, may have been the early hour or low residency the night before. Would definitely recommend this hotel based upon our overnight experience.

The day I checked out I was on my way to the Refugio, TX BW when I was notified of a family emergency. I called the "800" number for assistance. The customer service rep (I don't recall her name but she was outstanding) contacted the Refugio BW to explain my situation. Thank You to the Refugio BW for not charging me for the 2 nights because it was less than 24hrs when I cancelled. They truly represent the meaning of, "Taking Care of Their Customers." The customer service rep then rebooked me for 2 nights at the Victoria BW. They were very comforting when I explained why I had to return.

The stay was short but a comfortable accommodation. The location was excellent close to restaurants and shopping. The only other perk that would have nice would be helpful staff at desk to recommend restaurants and such. The only two people that were friendly and helpful were the young man at the desk at 6:45am and the lady attending to the breakfast area also at that time on Saturday morning.

ALWAYS a great stay at the Victoria BW. The entire staff are "ALWAYS" friendly. The lady who works in the breakfast area is readily available to help my 10yr old nephew (thank you) with his waffles. Although it is a busy place it is very quiet and the beds are extremely comfortable. :-)

We were not very pleased with this hotel - not up to the Best Western quality we have experienced with other hotels lately. The bed was very lumpy and all caved in (room 217). The shower was very old and barely sprayed a stream of water. The hallway and room smelled like mold. I gagged every time I walked down the hall way to our room. Our room smelled of mold too but when we turned on the a/c it seemed to make it more tolerable. They were installing a new roof so construction workers filled the parking lot and there was noise. On a positive note, the staff was VERY nice. All of them. We encountered several and they were all very friendly and gracious. The complimentary breakfast was good.

I always stay here during monthly business trips. The rooms are clean, comfortable and accessible. The staff is efficient and friendly and some treat me like family. I enjoy their hot breakfast because it includes eggs and meat The only problem is the fitness room which needs upgrading in terms of size and equipment and I might change hotels due to that.

The property was comfortable, clean, well maintained, and staff was very accommodating. There was fresh coffee available for us in the lobby all during our stay. The beds were very comfy. The room was large enough to be accommodate family that came by for a visit. We recommend this hotel to everyone that is visiting Victoria. It's convenient to all the shopping and dining places. Our first stay was several years ago. We always stay at the Best Western in Victoria when we come to visit relatives.

it seemed to be a fairly new hotel, beds were awesome. not many people there on a sunday night so it was real quiet. located off interstate so easy on and off. close to restuarants and shopping. not too far from university of Houston at victoria

Great staff and nice hotel for the price. Easy to book and check out. Internet service was easy to use and dependable. Rooms are large for the price with comfortable beds and chair. Room was clean. Didn't use but pool and hot tub area looked inviting even if a bit small. Had stayed here before as solo traveler and felt safe both times. Good value for the money.

I had a medical procedure done so I brought family along this time, Lynn was so nice to them at check in. I had no problems.They liked the king suite but my sister said the bed was TOO soft, is that even possible. Lol And thanks Lynn to help get me through a hard day.

I stay frequently for doctors appointments due to a bad back and I LOVE their beds! The staff is always friendly & helpful. It's always clean. A lot of upgrades have been made but the smiles stay the same. I always recommend Best Western in Victoria.

I liked having a quiet room. The bed is the most comfortable of any hotel bed I have ever slept in. The décor is getting a little worn. The internet works great. The housekeeper missed a few details like face cloths. Overall it was a good price and I was satisfied. I have stayed there for about the past five years and I will stay there again. Patsy in the breakfast room is wonderful and friendly.

The staff here treats me like family. Very safe, very clean with excellent customer service. The fitness center needs upgrading. Clean and convenient with eggs and sausage for for breakfast as well as other typical hotel breakfast items.

The room was quite and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.I got the best night sleep I had in 4 weeks. was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and a nice variety of foods. The area was also kept immaculate. Making a reservation and check out were hassle free. The cost of the room was reasonable.

Great place to stay the staff are very attentive. My 10yr old great-nephew who lives in Victoria and loves to stay with me when I am in town. Always insist on going to breakfast by himself in order to bring his breakfast to the room. I give him a few minutes before I check on him but the lady who works the breakfast area is always more than happy to help him Thank You). The pool is AWESOME! Great location near schools, mall and restaurants.

Air conditioning was not working properly and room had musty odor. Asked to be moved. Desk clerk stated they were booked but would have service man look at. Not fixed. Last morning of breakfast had trouble with waffle machine (which I had used without incident previous two mornings) and there was no syrup or milk out. Same desk clerk not helpful and acted like I didn't know how to use machine. Stayed here numerous times before, but probably won't again.

I prefer Best westerns Plus or Premier. I am a Diamond Club Member.My daughter had surgery Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. Not knowing how long the surgery would be I asked for 1 hour delay check out. The clerk quickly said" not possible" our cleaning service personnel are not able to accommodate your request. Disappointed, I quickly checked out.

Our goal here in Victoria Texas to is do everything we can to make your stay an enjoyable stay that makes you feel at home. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience of not being able to have a late check out available for you. It is true that we do not have all day housekeeping but your request should have been accommodated. I hope that the next time you are in Victoria that you would give us another chance to show you that the answer you received was not the norm.

This was an excellent place to stay for our family and the price was even more amazing than we could have imagined! The staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to do their best to help you in any manner that they can.

The room was clean and very comfortable. We had a King-sized bed suite and it was lovely. Clean and well-laid out. A couch and chair, desk, bed, and bench. Plenty of seating, plugs, and the bed was heaven. We had trouble getting up it was so comfortable. Katie, at the front desk was pleasant, helpful, and made our stay a real treat. She made sure we had everything we needed. And this is important-- I am extremely sensitive to flowery scents and break out in a rash. Staying at hotels is difficult due to dryer sheets they use. The linens had no scent. It made sleeping and showering easy and pleasant. We have not been to Best Western often but I will make it a point to stay at Best Western now. My only down comment would be that the wifi is not secured. Please note Katie made our stay so easy - we had been in a different hotel Friday night and we had to move and she facilitated it with aplomb.

the staff are very helpful and attentive. Decor is beautiful. Incredible breakfast area and food choices! Room very comfortable and clean. Easy to get in and out of hotel. Right next to small mall. Ihop, Denny's, Olive garden etc walking distance for a quick supper.If we are in the area again will definitely stay.

This is a very nice hotel. Room was great, and it is located close to all kinds of places to eat. The lady who checked me in was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and diverse. I go to Victoria 3-4 times a year and will diffently stay here again.

Our stay was very nice. Our beds were comfy and the room clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Breakfast was yummy and the dining room clean. Plus, friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again. Great location as you are close to restaurants and stores.

Stayed here one night for business and couldn't be happier! Check in was a breeze, staff was super friendly. They give a check in gift (water, cookies and mints), which I thought was a nice touch. Room was clean and bed was super comfy. Very happy I decided to stay here. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We came to Victoria for a family funeral. A very difficult time since this was an unexpected trip. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating making the trip a little easier for us to bear. Rooms and open spaces were very clean and welcoming. I would stay at this property again.

Wonderful place. Great location to churches if you travel on Sundays. Incredible value. Rooms really terrific. Close to coast line so you can drive and come back. Would recommend staying again. We enjoyed the quietness of the room we were in. Didn't take advantage of other things there however.

The front desk staff is professional and helpful. I always sleep well at this hotel. The bed is firm yet giving and linen is plush. Its also quiet. The rooms are clean and the set up is good for doing paperwork leisurely.

This was my first stay here after staying at numerous other places in Victoria over the years. Not sure why I waited. It was very clean and the staff was great. It's convenient to the mall across the street and there is a great variety of food choices within a couple of miles. My only fault with it was that it seemed a bit over priced for the market. The shale oil boom is over so the price needs to reflect that.

Hotel was clean, the staff was courteous, and the room was very economical for the high quality. The location provides a fast access to the expressway and conveniently located near the main highway and major mall area. If you just ask the staff for something in particular, they will do everything possible to accommodate your request. The hotel staff takes ownership/accountability of the facility and we did not find anything that was out of order in any way.

The entire staff at the front desk is always welcoming and hospitable as well as Patsy & the breakfast staff and even Noel the grounds-keeper, that does an outstanding Job in maintaining the grounds very clean and presentable. The entire staff takes pride in their job and overall is the best experience I have had at any hotel while working out of town.

We were on a fishing trip and just needed a clean, comfortable place to spend the night with room for the SUV, boat and trailer in the parking lot. We were also looking for a moderate price. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. It looked almost new, the furnishings were nice, the bed and bedding were very comfortable. It was a very nice place at a reasonable price. I would stay there again and do recommend it.

After a long night of work and travle, the afternoon clerk Nathan was a nice suprise. Nathans above average attitude combined with his out going personality are the driving factors bring me back to this hotel. I aprichiate all of Nathans hard work and jis willingness to go above and beyond for his guest.

I have stayed at this property once a year for the past 10 years. It has not been renovated in that time and it shows. The "shabby chic" décor is losing its "chic." The wifi is not always fast. However the mattress is the most comfortable I've ever experienced. They have a separate memory foam topper on top of the mattress and it is totally comfortable. The staff is always helpful and cheerful.

The desk clerk Nathan made our visit more enjoyable with his knowledge and hints. The room was above our expections, clean,well furnished, and satified all our needs. When coming this way will say again.

Stayed here two nights in October 2015. The place was clean, quite and the breakfast was quite good...hubby really like the waffles...cooked to order in the shape of TEXAS! yeh! Housekeeping was polite and spoke English well. The front desk personnel were very nice. I left something in the room, called to let them know and it was mailed to me two days later....glad to get it back!

Simply put, given the choice, I would not stay anywhere else but Best Western. Once again, service, accomodations, professional and friendly staff - can't be beat. Took great care of me and my family - multiple rooms. Any problems are few, insignificant and immediately addressed. Highly recommended here in Victoria, TX, and anywhere else I've stayed.

I just stayed 1 night at the hotel, but the location was good, the hotel was very clean, staff cheerful and accommodating. The breakfast had a good selection and was kept well stocked. We used one of the meeting rooms for a business training and it was small but had everything we needed.

This was my second time staying at the Victoria BW both times have been excellent! Although, I have family living in Victoria I prefer to stay at the BW. For this visit I was there to attend a school event with my 9yr and 4yr (great-nephews). The BW is in a great location it is always very easy to get from place to place.

Most comfotable beds in the state. Coffee maker is a really nice bonus. Nice hot breakfast. Super clean and well maintained. Super fast internet. I have stayed here for business since it opened and could not be happier.

This motel will charge your credit card the full rate you confirm online then add another charge for your full rate, less any discounts you provide at check-in, and then will charge you additional amounts on top of all that. In our case, for a 1-nt stay, we had pending charges of $107 as confirmed online, $57 for full rate minus a $50 discount furnished upon check-in, and two additional charges of $100 each that we were not made aware of nor did we approve. So, for 1-nt, my credit card was charged over $364 on a $100/nt room. Imagine what that would do to your credit limit if you stayed at multiple Best Westerns along a road trip? You might not have any credit limit left for other vacation expenses if each motel along your road trip added $200+ as pending charges against your card (without any notification or approval). The motel was fine in all other ways. This charging practice was totally unreasonable. We're over 60 years old, no pets, no parties, no damage, just shower and sleep and eat breakfast. Why did we need an add'l $200 held by the motel (without being told) for what they call "just in case." Soured us against staying at any Best Westerns in the future. Beware!!!

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us! There is a $100 incidental fee held on all guest cards at check-in and released at check-out. Unfortunately it can take 2-14 days depending on the bank and whether the guest uses an ATM/Debit card or a Credit Card. I wish we could make the reversal immediate but it is out of our control. We do our best to make every guest aware of this policy by posting a sign at the front desk and by printing it on the receipt guests sign at check-in. The front desk employee should also have made you fully away and answered any questions you might have had. I apologize for her not doing that. We will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. If you have charges that should not be there PLEASE let us fix our mistake as that is NOT the way we run our Hotel. After an excellent night, great front desk help kitchen staff ruined excellent service by telling customers she put everything away 30 mts. before end of breakfast, and does not bring anything else out.

I am disappointed to hear your stay was not 110% excellent. Our breakfast hours are 6:00am-9:00am Monday-Friday and 7:00am-10:00am Saturday & Sunday. There is no exception to that rule. I would have loved to correct that for you when you were here. In the future do not hesitate to let someone know of any issue immediately, no matter how big or small, so we may do all that we can to correct it. Stayed at the Victoria BW (1st time). I was exhausted from traveling it was nice to sleep on a bed which was very, very comfortable! Although, the hotel was very busy with customers it was very quiet. The pool is AWESOME according to my 9yr old nephew.
