We were at the hotel for just one night. The staff were so nice and friendly. The hotel is like a guest house, the receptionist, the barman and the driver of the shuttle are the same guy. They were so nice with our child. This kind of things let us fill been home. Near to the hotel there's just one restaurant not much options.
As I stay in Hotels every week I have heard all procedures of when the breakfast is how to open the doirs after hours etc etc but if you want to go to the room as fast as possible but the monlogue of the clerk is about 10-15 minutes until he gives you the key...phew...it is my own fault I was too polite to stop him. The positive surprise is the rooms, big and spacey, great bathrooms, the Hotel is 15-20 min ride away from Turin airport. There is no fresh food in the Hotel but a nice restaurant in 50 m walking distance...they accept credit cards. So much for the stay, check-out was just a nightmare. I prepaid the room through getaroom and they were unable to give me an invoice over the amount charged...but I do now know how much getaroom charges?? I wanted to psy the winw cash and the water I had from the minibar on the room bill along with the Taxi fee to the airport. To get that done was 15 minutes! Dont get me wrong guys the Hotel is really good but those things can be nerv wrecking and are unnecessary.
I completely agree with the recent reviews about the location, charm, WiFi and staff of the hotel. In Torino for a family wedding and booked this property for 1 night to be closer to the airport for an early morning flight. Unfortunately I am unable to give a higher review as I am having a very restless and slightly fearful experience. When I arrived I received a warm welcome and very clear instructions how to check myself out in the morning, open the gate and how not to lock myself out before the taxi arrives, as the hotel is not staffed for several hours during the night and early AM!! I'm not sure if this is even disclosed anywhere in any of the booking engines, but would hardly even think to check that it is a possibility with a hotel branded as Best Western. And I'm not even sure that this is legal. The taxi has been booked and I am hoping for an uneventful departure. There is also some strange noise every so often coming from the desk area of the room that of course is adding to my restlessness. I could go on as I haven't even mentioned the safety and security concerns. Reading the hotel guest book, it is mentioned several times that the Reception is available 24 hours.
We ended up here on an Expedia deal. After missing our connection and getting in about 6 hours later than planned, they picked us up at the airport and arranged for a local restaurant to pick us up and take us to dinner and return. The staff also gave us great recommendations and were helpful in every way.
Stayed at Le Rondini on a business trip. A group of 8 of us were working at Turin airport for two weeks so this hotel was ideal as it is only a 10 minute drive to get to the airport. The hotel is a converted farmhouse steeped in history. We especially liked that it felt more like a home than a hotel, which is important when you are staying in a place for an extended period. The staff are very welcoming and helpful in all our needs (which is a lot when you are a group of 8 from all over the world). Denis was a great help and even took us out to a lovely restaurant one evening. The rooms are spacious and the beds are large, most overlooking the spacious courtyard and a view of the Alps. The local restaurant Londrina became our regular haunt as we ate there most evenings. The staff there are also very friendly and the food is varied and delicious. This is an ideal hotel for a stopover in Turin if you want to be away from the crowds and close to the airport, or if you are travelling by car and do not want to stay in town. I will definitely return if I am back in the area again. Thank you Denis and all the staff for a memorable two weeks in Turin!
We chose Le Rondini hotel as we had to stay a overnight close to Turin airport. It has been a very nice and friendly experience. Nice, clean room, excellent breakfast... and helpful staff. What should one ask for more. T taxi from the a\\p cost ~ 20 Euro. The hotel is located at a village about 5 km from the a\\p. Of course - this is not a hotel for a visit to Turin, but rather an excellent solution for an overnight stay.
Found this on the internet and spent a couple of nights there. Very nice room, had everything we needed and loved the big bed. Nice breakfast with even soft boiled eggs and the usual everything else. Right near a very nice restaurant and church. Staff is very helpful in arranging taxi service or helping in the bar area. One word, if they pick you up, remember that the First Level is the second floor, arrivals. Fooled us for a while. The WiFi is great
I stayed here recently with my partner and son and had a terrific experience. The hotel was small and welcoming, and our room was large, immaculately clean and had everything we could need. A nice small bar, and breakfast at 3 Euro each was great value. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Well located for Turin airport and close enough to turin City for a day trip. Definitely recommend.
This hotel is 10-15 minutes from the Turin airport and a gem. It is not one of those cookie cutter hotels. It is beautifully done. Our room (#5) had a shower that had jets from all direction, perfect to end a stressful day of traveling. The rooms were large, clean, quiet (even with an airport so close!). Our room had skylights that were controlled from a panel next to the door. Excellent internet service. The bathroom was immaculate. We did not stay for breakfast and I think that was a mistake. We were greeted by two of the nicest young woman that helped us get into Turin and suggested a wonderful restaurant. This was a great experience!
We briefly stayed at Le Rondini our last night in Italy so that we could be close to the Turin airport for an early morning flight. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and mostly comfortable. It was warm and we had problems with the AC. It was great at first, then barely worked after we came home from dinner. Despite the staff's best efforts to fix it, it never did much. We weren't around for breakfast, but the hotel did provide an excellent recommendation for pizza for dinner nearly across the street. Surprisingly delicious! We thought the hotel had a shuttle to the airport, but they did not. Instead they helped us arrange a cab for about 20 euros to the airport. Le Rondini doesn't seem like much of a destination, but is certainly a good airport hotel or reasonable place to stay if in the area.
Very big surprise. Nice hotel. Friendly reception personnel. Excellent service. Well working internet. I am second time here and it is not last time here! I great place if you want to stay close to Turin airport. They provide shuttle transit to the airport as well.
Needed a 24 hour stopover before our flight, this hotel is in a quiet village near the airport though not as close as it seems from Google maps.. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, communication in English not an issue, breakfast is Italian style - continental - so don't expect bacon and eggs, the nearby family run restaurant recommended by the hotel was extremely good we ate there twice, Rooms are very clean, but no tea and coffee facilities in the room, and no duvets are used for the bed its s sheet on,y and you have to add the blanket if you need it
8 of us stayed there on our last night after a week ski -ing and before our flight from the airport . The hotel was booked through Expedia and was very good value, it also saved a considerable amount of money as we would have to buy 8 tickets on a popular Sat and rush to get there on time. This way we had a leisurely drive down from the ski resort and arrived at 1.pm.This saved a considerable amount of money even after paying for the hotel and meal in the evening. Our rooms were ready for us and the reception was friendly and efficient. Yes we did see and hear the planes but as previously said they stop in the evening and do not start until 6.30am. The hotel has no restaurant but we sat in the courtyard and ate the sandwiches we had made that morning and then had coffee from their bar. We went Turin but despite the instructions from the receptionist we did not really think it through. The lady did not do that journey herself so in theory a train and bus sounds ok but it was just too difficult so we came back as we ran out of time and the youngest were getting fed up. The answer, drive and park your car at the end of the tram and go into town on the tram but buy your ticket from a shop first. Previously we have done this at a newsagents. On our return we booked dinner at the Pizzeria just 2 mins away. A great decision. Highly recommended .Our rooms 11,12 and 14 on the ground floor were very clean and had a large 4 piece bathroom with all you needed ,the shower was a little small and not a very stong flow ,but the water was hot and the towels large . 3 beds easily accommodated in each room . Mini bar prices fair. Breakfast adequate, coffee was good, The only down side is the lack of soundproofing. We could hear the loud conversation of the neighbours ,fortunately they went to bed at 11pm. Very secure parking. Free wi fi, much appreciated by the youngsters. Yes we would return .
