There was a mix up when we arrived and I somehow had 2 reservations. The staff were really calm and patient until we figured it out, they were so accommodating and even offered us an upgrade on our room. The rooms are really nice! Really clean, nice views and modern.

Stayed @ this Beautiful Hotel for a couple of weeks. Treena, Shawna & Jacob were absolutely AMAZING ! All of them were extremely professional, helpful & very kind. They made our stay just excellent. If you get chance this is the place you want to visit when your away from home & you are in the area. Hoping one day we can return. Really, the staff here are like family. Thanks for everything.

It's nice, but definitely not $300.00 per night "nice" I expected it to be somewhat of a luxury hotel but it's your average run of the mill hotel with an updated foyer. Bathroom was nice, bed was OK but directly infront of the door and the patio was dirty. Overall it was a very tired room.

Simply Awesome! The Prestige Harbourfront in Salmon Arm went above and beyond and I couldn't be more happier! I bought my niece and her new husband a gift of a night stay in a King Suite with balcony waterfront room for their first night of their Honeymoon. The staff was so amazing! They decorated the bed with romantic towel swans and rose petals and left a beautiful complimentary gift basket for them. They even ran out to the liquor store for me and brought them a bottle of wine and wine glassess! The room was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond and definitely made it special for them! Thank you!!!! It is a gorgeous hotel, fantastic location on the water and the staff are incredible too! 5 Stars!!!

We stayed in Canadian Suite which was great. Big shout out to Eddy in café for the awesome coffee and suggestions and freshly baked chocolate croissants! His friendliness and helpfulness was beyond my expectations, Thank you! Would have given 5 stars but TV wasn't working which was surprising for price of suite.

We would like to thank you for an amazing stay. The housekeeping staff (Roberto) was professional and eager to see my needs. Front desk (Liam) were immediately cared for my check-in. The room was spacious and elegant. No expense was spared. The room opened up to a beautiful lake. Very clean room. Lobby with a very nice ambiance. The view while swimming relaxing was breathtakingly beautiful. I will recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit. Thank you for catering to my needs and treating me so well.

The room set-ups, the beat-up, strangely placed furniture, and the filthy windows make you wonder how they can charge the prices they do. The location is excellent, but with so many cookie-cutter big-name brands; that have brand-new facilities and functional rooms......makes you wonder how long folks will continue to pay high prices for poor quality..?

We had a lovely Christmas Day stay at the Harbourfront Resort. We had also booked a dinner at the restaurant connected with the Resort. It was a grave disappointment. We ordered what was billed as a Classic Turkey Dinner. We cannot prove it but is seemed more like duck to us. No white meat, and no cranberry sauce as advertised. Would never come here again to eat. Sad.

Your hotel friendly service and accommodation turned a stressful situation of being stuck behind a road closure on Christmas Eve into a memorable Christmas experience for my family. The restaurant was also very friendly service and great food - especially the breakfast.

Extremely disappointing stay for almost $400/night. I would have provided a 2 Star Review if Management was respectable enough to deal with their client complaints, but unfortunately, after saying she would "look into it", I never heard back from the Manager again, even after multiple attempts to follow up with her. Dirty room & corridors, broken elevator, over-priced, and overall is majorly due for a renovation for this price point. I've waited 3 months to write this review because it was THAT disappointing. We're happy to pay a higher room rate, but we expect the service that comes with the price. I recommend finding somewhere else to stay until reno's are hopefully completed in the future - especially on their summer prices!

I stayed one evening at this. Location was awesome. I stayed at prestige in Vernon that was nowhere near as nice and the staff was nowhere near as good. My experience at Salmon arm prestige was very good, and I would definitely go back

I was a part of a group that stayed at the Prestige Harbourfront on Thursday September 15th. Upon arrival, the rooms were all ready and the check in process was simple. I had to call ahead to have one person arrive early, and the front desk staff was incredibly understanding and helpful to our group to accommodate that request. The hotel is located right on the water, but close to downtown and everything you may need. We appreciated the overnight stay!

BEAUTIFUL place -- the hotel, the lakefront view with nearby walking, bike riding paths, the incredible Salmon Arm wharf, the outdoor hot tub, the bikes&helmets available for guests to use (free of charge)

Travelling back to Vancouver from Calgary. Excellent front desk staff. Very clean. We travel with a small dog and they are pet friendly. Found the room rate very reasonable. Beds were very comfortable . Nineteen05 Kitchen and Raw Bar was outstanding. Best dinner we have had in a long time. Highly recommend this resort

Getaway for anniversary with husband to relive our honeymoon 50 years ago! We spent the first night in Salmon Arm and had a super time and the weather was also superb! We walked the conservation trail along the lakeside and it was so pretty!

We were a family and had a few rooms. The ones on the ground floor with the patio were definitely the best. You could sit outside and enjoy the view. Upstairs some of the rooms were worn . The staff was very friendly.

Sooo comfortable! The view of the Shuswap lake and the mountains is fantastic. What a great location!, The walking paths, and the gardens are so beautiful to behold. Right next to a park. The stroll along the lake shore and peninsula is a great way to enjoy nature. The swimming pools are a great place to relax and the dining experience in the hotel is so nice and the food was so good.

The property location and staff were wonderful. Hotel is located on a lake filled with wildlife but not safe to swim in. Lobby was welcoming but the rooms, hallways, and elevator were in disrepair and really not impressive. Having said that, everyone there was working hard to offer their best. If you are needing place to stay and you have kids or teens I would recommend it, but only if you get a good deal. The pool and hot tub are outside and although its very dated it was clean and had a great view. Hotel maintenance at this property appeared to be non existent. All windows, exterior walls and pool fencing were covered in spiders and spider webs and dirt. The place looked like it hadn't seen a good power washer in years.

This is a really great property for walking downtown and to other amenities, we had some issues on check in with one of our rooms and the front desk staff really didn't seem to concerned with it , this is not what I have come to except from a top tier hotel chain !

From reservation to check out we found this stay to be effortless and enjoyable. Our room was updated, had a lighted magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom (bonus) and a beautiful view of the lake and wetlands from our balcony. Since we chose to forgo maid service until check out we were given a daily $10 chit towards dining which we used for breakfasts. The food was delicious and our server was friendly and efficient. Free wifi and parking were nice perks. Overall, a lovely stay.

We used to love staying at this hotel but our stay this summer was somewhat disappointing. Felt like everything is sliding down a bit: general property upkeep, housekeeping quality, room interior condition, service quality - all is noticeably worse than it used to be even two years ago. Is the pandemic to blame for it, I don't know, seems to be the common excuse nowadays. Hopefully, management reads these reviews, as there are some really easy things to fix. Shower - water pressure was so low, it was barely trickling by the time water reaches your bottom (pardon the detail). A better higher-volume shower head is desperately needed after a hot day. Also, add a handheld shower to the stalls. Come on, guys. How can someone wash themselves in a 3x3 stall without a handheld shower? This is not an expensive upgrade. Housekeeping was definitely not up to snuff. Our room kitchenette was dirty by the time we checked in at 5pm; they cleaned it next day. Two days out of our 7-night stay they just did not clean the room. "We are short-staffed, sorry". That's it. Out of other 5 days, there was something missed pretty much every time: one day towels weren't changed. Another - no soap was left. Only one bed out of two was made the other day (seriously). Nothing tragic by any stretch, just really sloppy stuff. This is not a cheap motel. Pool area - there were no pool towels by 5 pm every day we stayed there. We would still rate this hotel 3-stars, because we love this place and want to come here again. But some service improvements are definitely needed.

Terrible Value!! We stayed at the Prestige for the weekend for a wedding,This hotel is 100% not worth what you're paying a night. The beds are terrible, the bedding is terrible the amenities were mediocre, and the restaurants were awful. Not only that, but they offer you a $10 coupon at the front desk if you opt out of room service. We thought sure we don't need to have our room made up for the two nights we're staying.. except that the restaurants at the hotel are awful, terrible service!! We waited 40 minutes to get our drinks. No Joke! Would honestly recommend staying at a different hotel for half the price.

This is a very nice hotel in a very nice location. However, it is starting to show its age and is need of some sprucing up. The elevator was out of commission twice during a two day stay. However, I must say that the recption staff went out of their way to compensate as much as they could.

My wife and I stayed here for one night in late June. Because we were travelling with our dogs, we didn't use the restaurant facilities, so I can't speak to them. We reserved directly with the hotel, only a day or two before we arrived, and Liam was very helpful and informative. When we checked in, Jacob at the front desk provided great info on the most enjoyable places to walk the dogs. The room was large, very clean, and very quiet. Even the very effective AC system was quieter than they usually are. They lost a point on "Cleanliness" only because a mess on the patio was left for 18 or so hours, but this has been dealt with and was likely just an oversight. We would absolutely stay here again!

We just drove off the highway down to the lake to find accommodation and lucked into this hotel/resort. It was priced as competitively as other 2 star places we had stayed at previously. We just got so much more than we had expected. The rooms are large, newly fixtured and carpeted. The dining room and experience was outstanding, food delicious and well presented. Very knowledgeable service. Just a great all-around stay.

Loved our 3rd floor room with balcony overlooking the lake. So much to enjoy with the estuary walking path, the beautifully maintained park, the pier, all right outside the hotel. And all visible from our balcony. 10/10 location. Try the sangria in the sports bar!! & we enjoyed the halibut burgers very much too

The Prestige Harbourfront hotel was in a wonderful setting on the edge of the lake at Salmon Arm and we had wonderful views from our window. The room was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Great food in the restaurant.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Made us feel welcome. Will always stay there as a halfway stop to Calgary and Banff. We had a lake view, enjoyed the Restaurant on site. Recommend this property to all!

As always a great experience at the Prestige in Salmon Arm. I have been going to this location for over 20 years each and every Spring & the service, food and guest experience has always been Top Notch

We hit the jackpot! There was a mix up with our room reservation when we arrived. The desk staff gave us a complimentary upgrade to the executive suite. My 90 year old mother was sooo impressed. She was treated like royalty. Even the firefighters who were staying at the hotel offered assistance at every moment. We didn't even have to carry luggage or push buttons for the elevator. Stay of a lifetime for my mom and I.

Lakeside balcony room….well kept, clean, well stocked, very quiet. Room attendants looked after our needs, we're attentive but over worked. Comfy bed, good shower. Fan on heat/ cool is very loud. Some conflict over our reservation but after sharing our concerns, the issue was addressed in a professional and caring manner . Thank you

I stayed here during SILGA 2022. While I was disappointed at first to be on the first floor, as the convention progressed, I was quite grateful that my room was so handy. I appreciated the fact that I could request no housekeeping during my stay and only needed to press a button in my room to ensure that. The meeting rooms were excellent, the catering was as well. I completely enjoyed being able to walk from the hotel to the nearby wharf, along the nature trail (that passed by my room), and from downtown after an evening event at the Song Sparrow Hall. Everything was easy to get to and the room was perfect for me. A shout out to Ace who let a few of us into the arcade that was just steps away from my room. We had had enough of the evening banquet and needed to burn off some steam and Ace "set us up" in the games room with a smile! I'll come here again, for sure.

Excellent beautiful facility. Housekeeping in particular was outstanding! So important these days! Today service is something that is becoming extinct and it's nice to know that a facility and it's staff really do care about you!

Enjoyed the stay, place was clean and the the rooms were a gd size. When checking out the the person in front was sincere in asking how the stay was. Very professional. I stay in many hotels and very much enjoyed the stay here.

This hotel was clean, tidy, in order, and from what I could tell...well ran. Alex, the young man that took my reservation was awesome, and he also checked us in. Our room was comfortable, the climate was excellent, and it was also very quiet. Wonderful stay.

We've stayed here in that past. This time we stayed in a kitchenette with one bedroom suite this time! Great choice as we were able to make breakfast & snacks. We highly recommend this resort. Clean. Friendly staff. Pool & hot tub are well maintained. Overall this is a great place to stay in Salmon Arm!

Nearing the completion of very long roadtrip, we stayed here for a few days to relax before heading back to the west coast. Great hotel for the type of location (small town). It has a sports bar/restaurant (Don Cherry's - Lol, what to expect in a small Canadian town), an indoor-to-outdoor pool, a gym, stunning lake views, a spa, and dare I mention the "French" cafe next to the reception area? It is located next to the iconic board walk. The airconditioning was heavenly, the beds crisp and fluffy, large bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi tub, and the best bathrobes - of which I purchased. Our lakeview room with balcony was epic, especially at sunset. As for the food venues, I'm not a fan of Don Cherry, but title aside the food was good and the restaurant also had a lakeview patio. And the cafe? I don't necessarily reccomend. I found the coffee not great and the service from the owner quite bizzare. When I tried to offer a complement and a suggestion, she was oddly offended until it was time to pay (maybe just a bad day?). The town centre area is in walking distance, though you may have to wait for a train to go by before crossing. Everything else is a quick drive to the other side of the highway. There is a new cidery in town that I also highly recommend visiting. In sum, I loved the view, the a/c, bathrobes, and the pool that allowed you to swim from indoor to outdoor which also had a cute patio and hottub.

Stayed here for one night on a weekend getaway to the Okanagan to watch my son play hockey. Location was central for our travel plans. This was the second time staying here, would stay again next time I'm in the area.

Nice clean hotel, good bed and a well appointed bathroom. The front desk people were very helpful (Ace Marquez). The pub and restaurant served excellent food. The only thing missing at this property is an EV Charging station, although there are chargers nearby.

Stayed in designer suite for 4 nights. Requested for a quiet room but unfortunately was being assigned to a room next to stairs & elevator. Tried not to be a difficult guest at this difficult time so I didn't bother to ask for a room move (stayed in the same suite for the first 3 nights). But what crossed the line was there's renovations going on right below the room I stayed. Extremely LOUD! Started early in the morning while I was still sleeping. Can't believe the management didn't inform me about it.

the rooms were as to be expected for the price. the price while a little high was on par with other hotels in the area. the wallpaper in the room was peeling. the coffee in the room was probably the most bitter i have ever drank. almost as if the people in charge of purchasing have never drank this coffee and/or don't care enough about customer satisfaction versus quality. the menus at both bar and restaurant were minimalistic at best and the food was overpriced as well as sub par for what you would expect from a facility that promotes hosting larger banquet style events. it snowed on the first night of my stay and the company contracted to plow the parking lot began to do so at 3:50 am...very disrespectful!! i will likely not be returning to this particular venue nor will i recommend this facility to any of my associates.

We were looking for a venue to celebrate a friend's 67th Birthday. Being mostly local we didn't need sleeping space for more than 4 but we needed space for 7 to share a meal and socialize. The executive suite on the third floor with it's expansive balcony overlooking the beautiful Shuswap Lake and Fly Hills could not have been more perfect. Jesse and his team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Bringing in extra chairs, having a personal note, Birthday ballon and towel arrangement was ‘Icing on the cake'! The suite with its two spacious bedrooms and king sized beds made it perfect for sharing. The kitchen worked well for meal prep.

Jan. 2022 We stayed one night in a 2 bedroom kitchen suite. This is spacious suite with a full kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms and a living room. It was great to have plenty of room for our family. The pool area is awesome. Loved that you can swim from inside the building under the garage door to the outside pool area (even in winter months) I so much enjoyed sitting in the outdoor hot tub as well. We were lucky enough that we had the area to ourselves most of the time and it was such a serene setting with the view of the lake in the distance. My only negative comments about our stay was poor water pressure in the shower and floors were not soundproofed well. We could hear people walking above us. If in the area we would for sure stay again.

Terrible Experience We went for three nights for and in-house catered function.\\ We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator didn't work half the time. Their catered dinner was $50.00/plate ($100.00).... The turkey was deli turkey, not real turkey, no cranberry sauce, the mashed potatoes had the texture of cream of wheat, they ran out of brussels sprouts and some people had to wait 20 minutes, as they ran out of food. And all the food was bland, No Spices?? I Would Not Recommend This Hotel!!

The wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. Nice hotel, staff are great. We did have an issue with our reservation, but not sure if it was on our end or thiers. We reserved (or so we thought) a king bed room, but were given a queen as all the kings were gone. This was unfortunate, but as I said, not sure if it was our issue or something on their end. Aside from that, there was one staff member who went above and beyond - sorry don't recall his name, but an Asian fellow - SUPER helpful and very accomodating. The room was large, comfortable and clean with no issues. We will come back in the future!

Beautiful location and abundant bird life. Clean, friendly efficient hotel. We stay here alot and come back every trip we head to and from the west coast. We would recommend it for families, couples and solos. Great service, comfortable rooms and very good food in the attached restaurant.

We stayed one night at this hotel on our drive from Banff to Vancouver and it was a perfectly acceptable place to stay. We had a king room with a lake view. The room was absolutely huge, with a sofa too. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The whole hotel seemed a bit tired and in need of renovation. The bathroom was clean, but some of the sealant around the bath had a few mould patches. We couldn't really enjoy the lake view as the window was covered in cob webs. You could also hear every sound from the hallway from inside the room, but luckily we weren't disturbed when sleeping.

Driving from Banff to Vancouver we knew we would need a stop over but choose not to pre-book as we were unsure how far we would drive in a day. Arrived in Salmon Arm late in the day and choose the Prestige as it was lakeside. Wonderful choice. Stretched our legs with a stroll along the waterfront boardwalk, lots of birds to watch and dog walkers to chat to. The room was massive, with 2 queen beds and balcony overlooking the boardwalk. Nice bathroom with a tub and a proper shower. Fluffy robes for the hot tub/pool. Restaurant offered good food and efficient service for both dinner and breakfast. A bit of a splurge price wise but enjoyed it very much.

We were a part of a group that stayed at the Prestige Harbourfront Resort on Tuesday September 16th. Upon arrival, our rooms were already organized for a simple check in process. The location of this hotel is right on the lake, with beautiful views and perfect for walking into downtown Salmon Arm or along the lake. The rooms are large, with plenty of room to get comfortable, and the signature comfortable bedding found in each Prestige property. What a great place to stay, thank you for having us!

Comfortable beds and great food. Rooms are a little tired and need some basic maintenance. It looks like some rooms have been upgraded. $40 pet fee per night that gives you nothing is excessive. We usually get a pet bed, water bowl, and some treats. Some hotels only charge one pet cleaning fee for the stay and not per night.

I would highly recommend being extra cautious when booking conference centers or meeting rooms with this establishment. You must prepay for them and from personal experience they will change your agreement after you arrive. I would recommend booking a meeting space in another hotel but if you have no option make sure you bring a copy of your contract as the communication is poor within the employees of the hotel.

Our lake view room was very clean and had amazing views of the bird sanctuary, lake and mountains. Such a peaceful location and the outdoor hot tub faced the lake too! Very clean, friendly staff and decent gym too!

The hotel location is so nice. Many nice trails just so close to the hotel. Looking at the water is so relaxing. We are from Kamloops. We often traveled to Kelowna for water view, but Salmon Arm is closer and just as nice as Kelowna.

Arrived after dark and left before dawn so wasn't able to appreciate view, but the quality of the service, room decor and furnishings were all you could wish for and pricing was very reasonable. I will certainly come again. Well done

Another great night at a Prestige property! I like everything about their properties and the Harbourfront is no different, from a beautiful setting and decorated to the clean comfy beds and rooms! Thanks so much for a great night's sleep! As a cycling group these rooms are perfect for a great nights sleep!

We really loved our over night stay here! Our room was spacious and so clean, it was noticeably newly renovated - carpets and furniture looked brand new. The location is just sooo pretty, we enjoyed the sunny balcony in the late afternoon. There is a fabulous walking trail right in front of the resort and the beautiful wharf as well. Two restaurants on site but we didn't visit either. Nice to know you do not leave the property for food though! Very friendly and helpful staff! Also there is a spa so the next visit we will make sure we book massages in advance. (did not inquire though this time, maybe we could've gotten in!)

Quality everything - beds, location, restaurant. We paid extra for the water side, king bed. Worth the splurge. You'd pay a lot more in major world resorts. My wife loved the bath robe. We did not swim in the pool, or use the hot tub. The "water side" is really a marsh, with open water in the distance. But a great view, so quiet at night. Don Cherry's Pub attached to the hotel is awesome - the patio is wonderful and has great "social distancing". MacDonald's is a 3 minute drive away for breakfast. The downtown of Salmon Arm is pretty, sweet! There's a walkway in front of the hotel, on the water side, that is excellent for jogging or walking.

Just got back from a one night staycation here. The property is immaculate, beautiful views and very clean! We got a Lakeview room with a balcony and were not disappointed. We arrived about 2:30 even though check in isn't u til 4:00 and they were super helpful about checking if our room was ready and getting us checked in early. There are 3 dining options- I was disappointed Don Cherry's wasn't kid friendly but Ninteen05 is beautiful inside and out food was delicious (although they need more vegetarian options on the menu!). We did breakfast at Cafe Tasse which is decorate so cute and the crepes were delicious! Pool and hot tub area was also nice and clean and has the nice lake view. The only thing I might say could be improved is the spider situation around there. There are webs all over the balconies and in the walkway railings below as well with big spiders in them. Needs to be sprayed and/or cleaned off regularly with a broom! I would 10/10 recommended staying here if you're in the Salmon Arm area!

Well, our experience with Best Western Hotels in the past was always pleasant and we expected nothing special. We book our hotels because of the amenities they offer and which we would like to use. In this case it was very disappointing and started with a series of things. First, front desk agent told us that Restaurant/ Pub was closed due to staff shortage, assigned room was not ready, no bedding and Garbage in the room, new assigned room was ok, furniture outdated and with lots of scratches.We booked room with view, but window was dirty and had many spiders on it, so not very appealing. Room key didn't work at the pool, when we ask we were told " you need a second key" . Pool area is not well maintained, rust on some places, spider webs all over the hotel exterior and the whole exterior wasn't clean't for a very long time. When we asked about breakfast, fronst desk agent didn't know if they will be open and we need to wait until the next morning and see if somebody shows up. At the check in we had been charged with full room rate and additional $ 100.00 security deposit before we even reached our room. We traveled for decades and stayed in hundreds of hotels, but we never paid at check in. Of course at check out we have been told that she will charge us again and as we mentioned that we have been charged already, she said no, no it was only pre approved and I showed her my account deduction, so she said I will fix it and she did, of course after discussion about the room rate, which was $ 70 more than it should be and she said because of the taxes. After a few minutes she realized that she had the wrong room number and the rate we agreed on was correct. Anyways, for way less money you can stay somewhere else in town and most likely with more service at all.

Front desk and other staff had always been warm and cheerful in greeting us every time they see us. They've been very helpful as well with our requests like providing us with kettle and microwave in the room. Room and the bathroom were neat! Thank you for the great service!!

During our "Smokey" 4 day stay at this hotel, what made the biggest difference was the care and attention of one Hotel employee who went out of his way to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The first room my wife and I were booked into did not have a working AC unit. We mentioned this to Ace, and he went into action and not only found us another room for the next three nights, he brought up a luggage cart and was willing to help us move. Wow, we never had that happen to us in all the other hotels we stayed at. This one employee turned a 3 star experience into a 5 star experience. Bottom line is that we had a great time in the hotel. The king sized bed was so comfortable. The other hotel amenities were also great and very accessible. This hotel is highly recommended

Very accommodating, front desk, staff, servers are friendly and good service. Highly recommended to friends, family, couples that will be staying there! No complaints at all, they did good even tho they have shortage on staff.

The hotel is right on the lakefront. Our room was on the lakeside and was very large and clean. It had an enormous deck. There were 3 good restaurants and it had a large swimming pool. Only 2 things disappointed were, they did not clean the room and we had not been advised of this so we had to get additional towels from the front desk . It is an affiliate of Best Western and we booked through the BW site but although we were told we would get BW points we have not received them. This is why i only rate it average

The room was well appointed,however we did not have a balcony and the windows will open only 1/3.For us was quite the inconvenience,as one could not enjoy fully the scenary and the fresh air,especially during Covid-19 times.

Staff were excellent, the rooms we got for the 4 of us were the double Queen with a view and the Roman themed room both of which were very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. Pool and hot tub were very nice, beds were comfortable, and check in was seamless using best western rewards points. Restaurants weren't open late but when we had lunch at ninteen05 which is the latest restaurant at this location, it was fantastic. We would recommend and stay again.

Definitely worth the price! Great staff, and amazing well-kept facility! The pool was open, and was definitely the highlight, backing onto the lake. The rooms were easily temperature controlled, without waking us up (fairly quiet air con system). Would recommend!

My wife and I spent two evenings at the Prestige in Salmon Arm. We loved the room. The bed and duvet were very comfortable. Nice and clean. Spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to downtown shops.

Had a great experience starting with the friendly reservation agent on the phone & all the way from check-in to check-out. The front desk staff were very friendly and personable. Customer service gets a 5 star for sure! Our room was very clean and we had a beautiful view of the lake. We had dinner at the restaurant, food was good and server was very personable. Would definitey use this hotel again!

We were a small group that stayed on Friday September 18th. Upon arrival we noticed how clean the property was, and how seriously they take their public health protocols. Staff were kind and knowledgable with check in, which was prompt and clean. We appreciate the hospitality that we felt, despite traveling during a pandemic with extra rules and procedures in place we felt safe at all times. Thank you for having us!

We stayed two nights and think there is room for improvement. There was a large cobweb on the ceiling above our bed which left a bad impression. It was very visible and should have been noticed and removed by staff prior to our arrival. Covid protocols were okay but not as stringent as we have seen elsewhere (ie the luggage cart was not being sanitized after each use). Plexiglass was in place around the front desk. We noticed but did not use the colourful Adirondack chairs in front of the hotel. If the air had been less smokey we might have sat outside. We enjoyed a walk on the pier and along the front of the hotel and the location is ideal for bird watchers.

This is a beautiful property to stay in. The rooms are updated and very clean. If you get a lake view room, which I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. There is a park and a long pier to walk on.. There's a lovely cafe at the front of the hotel which offers a pleasant and delicious breakfast menu of crepes and other pastries. And delicious coffee. We had an opportunity to stay at this hotel on the way to and from our vacation. The service was outstanding. When I returned the second time, the hotel manager remembered us, where we had gone and where home was. He did not know we were going to return which made us very impressed. When I was half way home (a 6.5 hour drive) I realized I left a necklace in the housecoat pocket and threw it in the laundry. I called the hotel and spoke with a very helpful front desk clerk, who said he would do what he could. We both knew it was unlikely it would be found. However, 5 days later I got a phone call that they had found it! They returned it to me free of charge. I was humbled by their service and thankful for their true caring.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Room was great the location is excellent and the hotel staff was very accommodating to us and our kids. The attached Cafe was wonderful. The spa store not so much. Wanted to purchase some makeup but they said because of covid my infant with me could not come in to make the purchase

Let me get once thing straight. You pay for the location, not for the quality of the stay. Rate seems excessive especially when trying to lure guests back in this covid pandemic. Good location, being on the lake, albeit its a marsh/swamp, not a beach. Next to a nice wharf. 10 min walk to town and restaurants and local shops. Food at Don Cherry's was decent enough, and offers a nice view. We weren't impressed by the room quality at all, especially at this price. Old and tired comes to mind. Cleanliness isn't the greatest, not filthy, just sub par throughout the hotel. Front desk also seems short staffed as nobody is ever at the desk. Poor shower pressure. Sloooooow elevator. Take the stairs. Will go elsewhere next time for better value. Could be so much better. Thank you.

Looking for a getaway from the big city found this site on the web. Called and greeted extremely well on the phone. Travelling with our dog they have doggy accommodation as long as the dog is under 80 lbs. the doggy rate of $40 a night is a bit excessive. Never paid more than $25 a night anywhere and quite often after the third night no extra. The young lady taking our reservation said she would charge me $20 a night only and I said that's fair. Upon checking in the rate was back to 40. Haven't finished on that part yet Platinum BW card got us a beautiful 4 Th floor room overlooking the lake. Super. Adjacent the hotel is a beautiful park where we could walk the dog plus the huge pier is exceptional. We found another gorgeous park a five minute walk away with a pretty lake in the middle. Overall I found the staff great. Everybody tries to smile behind their face masks.

Having stayed here before and enjoyed the experience, I was a bit concerned about some of the more recent negative reports but am happy to report that it's as good as I remember. The clerk was friendly and professional and ensured I was able to get the best rate possible and courteously outlined the Covid-19 requirements (masks and so forth). A comfortable quiet large room facing the lake (a bonus) which was very very clean throughout. Robes, dedicated iron and ironing board and even a microwave! The mini fridge operates very quietly which is a blessing for noise sensitive sleepers. The little deck is quite bare but it's easy to access and has simple serviceable furniture. Two small caveats for consideration. I wish the table was larger: some of us like room for our laptop and papers. The floor of my suite is slightly spongy, reacting to heavy tread elsewhere in the building. All in all, though staying here is more of a treat for a budget conscious traveler given the slightly higher rates, this would be the place I would choose next time.

Very disappointed with staff.Had made reservations a week earlier. Both the mgr. and front desk person lied about availability of rooms when I arrived. Have stayed there 4 times before and always had lake view with a balcony. Motel 6 could have given me a better room. Charged over $500 full price and had to put up with painters and a man jackhammering Stones off the wall at the front entrance while you walked into the lobby. Will never stay at that property again and will never reccomend it.

Despite having a bad expereince here a couple years back, decided to give in and try it again as business associates were also staying here. Checked in to first room and could immediately tell that floors hadn't been vacuumed (previous guests garbage was left under the arm chair). Top sheets on beds not changed, fridge filthy, bathroom mildewy. Switched rooms. Second room cleaner but still not what I would define as "clean." TV remote doesn't work (petty I know but wait until they get a family with kids in here and no remote!). Don't waste you money to stay here and overlook a slough. This place is dumpy 2* at best. Almost forgot to mention the saggy, springy beds....

Lovely location on the lakefront with a walkway in front. Lots of birds in the marsh immediately in front of the hotel. Sandbar restaurant had great service, good food and very good value. La Tasse coffee shop had no eat-in (because of COVID-19) but brought out our delicious crepes onto the patio. A very pleasant experience; we stayed an extra day.

We are new to the area and we like to explore the local pubs and restaurants so we can discover the best places to dine. On August 1st we decided to try Don Cherry's Sports Grill located in the Prestige Inn. We will NOT be returning there nor recommending it to any of our visiting guests. The one lone server did her best but came up short. Meanwhile several other server/managers were going around doing other jobs like organizing the empty beer bottles and posting notices on the bulletin boards while the server was really hustling all the while losing her edge. She was hollering across the bar when people were trying to enter; there should have been a host/hostess to ensure sanitized hands, seat the guests and sanitize/bus the used tables. The server was trying to do it all without any support. Unwittingly, as she was sanitizing the tables, she cleaned the seats with the same cloth she used on the table surfaces. From our table we were able to see into the kitchen and were aghast at the appearance of the kitchen staff. The cooks and kitchen staff were dressed very slovenly, dirty shirts, no aprons, long dirty hair, unkempt beards. In my opinion, dirty staff; dirty kitchen. The hotel management should make sure staff have some form of uniform and all facial and head hair should be tied or secured with a net. The washrooms were also very smelly. Get a private company to provide effective odor controls etc. The paying public deserves it. We shared the braised short rib burger and paid $3 up-charge for poutine fries. The burger was OK but the fries had a single large glob of curd on top with a scant serving of gravy. We sent the poutine fries back. Fresh and hotter fies were the result but the curds were still cold. Also, if any other restaurants are listening, If a customer orders a meal that will be shared, split the order in the kitchen, add a few more fies and garnish. Even charge an extra buck or two. If it is done right most customers won't complain. It isn't much of a dining experience when you have to cut a burger in two with a butter knife and ask for an additional plate. All of which we had to do. When your restaurant/pub is understaffed there is reduced opportunity to up sell. ie appetizers, extra drinks, dessert and coffee and even explain the daily specials or the soup of the day. I was leery posting a negative review of Don Cherry's Sports Grill but after reading some of the other reviews I am in disappointed company. This Prestige Hotel, Don Cherry's Sports Grill and The Sandbar Restaurant, with their location on the water and close to the downtown, should be the the pre-eminent hotel/establishment in Salmon Arm yet, sadly enough, has a very long road to go to achieve such recognition.

Apart from being on the marsh part of the lake, the hotel is meh at best. Its gone downhill fast in recent months. Couldn't agree more with some of the previous comments. It seems the front desk is understaffed and/or mismanaged, as nobody is ever there to greet you. Manager nowhere to be found. Rooms are outdated with sagging beds. TV's need updating. Furniture looks like it was purchased at a yard sale, circa 1990's. What's with the fake leather, poor quality sofas that don't match anything? Was on the "lakeside" but its just a small dirty window that doesn't open. Cobwebs everywhere outside. Place is not kept up it seems. Gym looks nice however, but did not use. Not even sure it was open. Overall cleanliness is suspect both in the room and out. Also nearby trains are noticeable. Downtown is walkable, which is a plus. There are better options in Salmon Arm for less money.

We chose to stay here on July 13th for one night while travelling. From the outside it appeared to be a classy hotel and did have a beautiful location. We decided to spend the extra money to have a balcony room and a "classy hotel" while on a trip. We were disappointed from the time we arrived. The hotel staff were excellent but the lobby was not as clean as a Best Western hotel usually is. The hallways were somewhat dirty as was the elevator. The room was very plain and had a worn appearance. The bed was uncomfortable, the fridge and microwave were smaller than usual. In general, it was "okay" for a lower class hotel but not what we expected.

Expensive place,low quality. No one around front desk areas when we came to check in. Dirty entrance looking like hadn't been swept or vacuumed , stinky streaked walls in elevator. I think this place could be beautiful if it was kept up. Has seen its day and going downhill fast Room had very “well used “ furniture and scratched up night table. Easy check in, pool reservation in effect for covid. I would have booked ahead if I'd thought of it. Lovely room with beautiful view of Lake and bird sanctuary. Comfortable beds. Hotel standard coffee with powder cream, they do have a mini fridge do real cream would have been appreciated. Easy check in and out. Pool is nice, outdoor portion is very small. Moderately hot hot tub, like bathwater. Beautiful hotel, would return.

We arrived Friday afternoon. Staff was relatively friendly. Our room was two queen beds over looking the water. Paid extra for a view room however, didn't realize we needed to ask if all rooms had a balcony? Didn't realize we needed to ask if the windows opened. Equipped with a small fridge, large flat screen TV. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. With the COVID-19 situation more time was expected to be spent in the room, enjoying the view, perhaps having a drink on the balcony. The small window locked close for safety I guess. We asked for a room with a balcony - none now available. More time spent in the room - TV loses signal a few times thru watching a single show. Be careful when booking, not all rooms have balcony's, and the windows are sealed shut. Don't pay the extra for the view unless you are able to enjoy it with a balcony. All in all a clean room with a few misleadingly attributes.

I have stayed in a few of the Prestige hotels over the years and this one was similarly appointed as the others. Our room was a two queen city view and equipped with a small beer fridge with freezer, a microwave and single serve coffee maker. There was a large flat screen tv mounted on the wall. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a bar and restaurants downstairs off of the main lobby. There is also an arcade, and salon available during the day. Our friends had a two bedroom suite which I had the pleasure of spending part of the evening in which boasted a full kitchen, full sized fridge and large living room area. We had originally planned on staying for 3 days but decided to cut our trip short as our Provincial Championship tournament was cancelled. The staff was very understanding and we had no trouble being refunded the difference as we had been charged for our full stay upon arrival. As an added bonus, it is a very short walk from the hotel to the nearby liquor store as well as a Tim Hortons, grocery store and other amenities in the town. Overall our brief stay at this hotel was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone considering staying in the area.

My husband stays at The Prestige every year on his birthday for a Conference. The first year we began dating, I requested an upgrade and special surprise in his room. He was delighted and touched by the thoughtfulness. He loves this hotel and truly enjoyed the king size bed and gorgeous view of the lake. This year when he made his reservation, I could hear that he was given a standard room so I called the hotel with my credit card in hand, requesting an upgrade again. I was thrilled when the concierge said he could upgrade my husband at no cost and would leave a birthday treat in the room for my husband! As it was, my husband had car trouble on the way up and was late getting into his luxurious upgraded room with King sized bed and balcony overlooking the lake. But he was so grateful and felt like a King himself. He'd missed dinner, so gratefully enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the morning before Chairing the Conference. I can't thank the gentlemen enough who provided the incredible hospitality to my husband on his birthday! It was most gratefully appreciated and we will definitely continue returning to this beautiful, clean, luxurious hotel!

We had to come to Salmon Arm re a Family Medical emergency. Prestige Staff gave us the Royal treatment, even though we had to extend our stay a couple of times without prior announcements ,for sure last minute .Thank you.

A visibly well-maintained property, this is the place to stay in Salmon Arm. From welcoming decor to well equipped guest rooms, all kinds of travellers will enjoy the comfortable beds, extensive exercise facility and indoor-outdoor pool and hot tub. The mountain views are especially lovely. The staff are friendly and are always ready with great restaurant recommendations in Salmon Arm.

Mid 50's couple here. We happened to be travelling through Salmon Arm last summer, and realized the city was hosting their annual Blues & Roots festival. Quick decision to attend the festival so went to check for accomodations availabilities. Prestige Harbourfront not only had a room but gave us an upgrade for super affordable price to the most beautiful room we've ever had opportunity to stay in. Front end staff and room cleaners were excellent, restaurant was handy and had good food with a great outdoor patio. Made for a terrific couple of days at the festival. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel with clean rooms in a great location; though, I was disappointed with the hospitality. We booked this hotel for our hockey team (10 players (age 8)) during a tournament in Salmon Arm. We chose this hotel specifically because it had a pool where the kids could hang out after their games. Upon arriving, we were told the pool was closed for "maintenance". (After talking to other hockey parents we discovered the same pool was closed for "maintenance" during last years tournament as well... In "Lieu" of the pool being closed, the hotel set up a games room, which we thought was awesome until we walked into the games room and saw a couple board games. The hotel also has an Arcade room which our boys spent most of their time in until all the parents and the hotel ran out of loonies... The hotel didn't even make an effort to get more loonies from other business within the hotel, they just said 'we're out'. We asked if we could use/rent one of the hotels conference rooms to have a team 'Pizza' party. The hotel answered our request with a straight 'No'. Didn't even give us reasoning or pricing. If this hotel doesn't want to accommodate sports teams, it would be nice if they were out front about it. We would've gladly booked another hotel where our kids could hang out together and bond as a team.

I was very surprise I can find a nice hotel room at small town ,wonderful relax mordant ambiance , ( I travel a lot in the world ,I been stay in a lot of No stars to 7 stars motels ,hotels .,I am vert fussy ! ) ,rooms very clean and small fresh ,lot of towels , beds very comfortable ,restaurant not open that early ,but only 10 to 15 mins walk to the centre ,you got every things you need . front desk staff very helpful ,the pool is clean ,great place to rewind and relax after a long day crossed country skiing . oh ,must fun part is when a trains went by ,the bed do shaking a little .

There are few places that make for a more beautiful place to take in the sunrise or set than on the deck of your room at the Prestige. The theme rooms are fun and maybe a bit cramped as they have a Jacuzzi tubs in them which is a great way to spend part of the evening. The rest of the rooms are equipped with both shower and bathtub, which for us is a must have.

Our first room had no heating and the power in our room kept going out, we were happy when we got to a second room that was supposed to be our replacement room but when we unrolled the sofa bed there was vomit everywhere that wasn't clean and the whole room was contaminated so they moved us back to our old room and at this point we have been running around for two hours. We had no heat and no power, they did not maintain their rooms properly. I'm my opinion I think this is the worst hotel I have ever been in. I stay in multiple different hotels every year and this has to be the worst even though it is rated higher than other don't trust the ratings.

We attended a family wedding and stayed the Thanksgiving weekend at the Prestige Harbourfront, where the Reception dinner was held. I looked up their website to see what facilities were available. Then I saw comments from recent visitors, who weren't happy. So we were expecting a bad experience, too. However, the faculty was very clean, the staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. All the issues mentioned in previous postings have been dealt with, under a new General Manager. BTW: The Reception Banquet was excellent.

I chose this hotel because of it's setting in the city immediately next to the city wharf, park and wetlands elevated walk. The setting was everything I'd hoped for on night one of my trip in the Shuswap and Okanagan. Prestige Inns are a brand I like a lot. I choose them if they are in the city/town on my route. This one isn't quite up to the standards of the others I've stayed in. Start with my "welcome" to the hotel and the incorrect rate - not what I'd been quoted. It took a bit of work to get the young woman to understand that increasing the rate was not acceptable. I had the email ready to show her when she decided she could, afterall change the rate to the one I'd been promised by phone. Then the total didn't add up - she says it includes a $50 deposit on my credit card in case we eat or use any additional services at the hotel. (it did come off at checkout but that left a bad taste in my mouth - so we didn't use any additional services) I've noticed that once I've had a bad experience in a hotel, I start to notice other deficiencies. I suppose it is natural to become more vigilent. The room itself was alright if you didn't look closely at the bad cracks in the floor of the bathroom and the messy patch job on the shower stall. Everything was just a bit tired. Our waterfront window was over a poorly-kept roof so the view was a bit in the distance (but it was stunning!) and we were able to open the window at night for air. (always appreciated and especially nice in places where we face away from highways) I did appreciate having a fridge with a working freezer and a good sized shower. Not sure if I'd go back to this property. Salmon Arm is such a lovely little town with all kinds of treasures (natural and man-made) to explore.

I researched into a place where we could stay when driving from Vancouver to Banff to split up what would otherwise be a very long drive. We arrived in the evening time, had a few beers and dinner in their bar , used their gym in the morning and had breakfast in the French cafe. I really enjoyed my stay here. It's a lovely hotel with friendly staff. After breakfast we took a walk along the lake side. It really is in a beautiful location. The photos of this place didn't disappoint at all and I would recommend it. A great stop off!
