Best Western Sicamous Inn

We had planned to spend the night at the Super 8 in Salmon Arm. The place was such a dump we started looking around for alternative accommodations. The Best Western in Sicamous was great. Nice clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Great large field behind the hotel to walk the dogs and relax overlooking the river. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great. Breakfast was really good, lots of options for the whole family. Pool and hot tubs were nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here next time we pass through!

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is great with lots of hot and cold items to choose from. Nice indoor pool area. Friendly and attentive staff.

We have been staying at this hotel for years on our trips between Calgary, AB & Vancouver, BC because: staff are always professional & pleasant; rooms are clean, well maintained & appointed; breakfast is good quality with good variety, cafe is clean, attendant(s) are friendly & attentive; location is convenient & reasonably quiet at night even during busy times; & despite the impact of the pandemic & inflation pressures, prices are still reasonable.

Very clean rooms, the staff are friendly, helpful, and polite. The breakfast isn't the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had but it's far from the worst either. The pool although hotel size, was clean and well looked after. I highly recommend the Jacuzzi suites which seem to be always booked up lately so plan ahead and book early. The in room housecoats are plushy and comfy. Make sure you bring your own wine and candles.

We were able to check in online, which was very convenient. The breakfast provided a large selection of food to choose from. We had our black lab with us and were given some treats for her, a roll of poop bags and a foot towel. Great experience!

We had a great stay here. The staff was kind and helpful. They went way above expectations to make our stay better. The breakfast blew us away! The pool was also nice and warm so my daughter spent a lot of time in there. We will definitely stay here again. Amazing value!

Stayed here for a hockey trip. Rooms were comfortable and easily assessible. The staff were awesome! We came late for breakfast and they were super accommodating and even brought out items that had been put away.

I discovered the lovely little hideaway many years ago and keep coming back every time I travel through this area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I look forward to a return visit.

Our room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean and so fun for the kids, and our jacuzzi was so hot and relaxing. The staff were all so friendly and happy! We will definitely be back next time we pass through.

Everything was clean, staff friendly, no issues at all, was an easy laid back stay. Pet friendly with a very large grassed courtyard in the rear for them to explore. Out door hot tub was a nice touch at the end of the day.

Very pleasantly surprised by our stay here. This motel style hotel has some excellent rooms and we stayed in one which to be honest could match our own home for size !! It had a huge living area with a separate bedroom, and was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast - again surpassed my expectations and is certainly one of the better buffet style breakfasts I've had at Best Western. Staff - all very friendly and helpful. Certainly Best Western should be proud of this hotel. For its location and size it punches above its weight.

We came here as evacuees from the wildfire in north Shuswap. The hotel itself is great with a lovely sitting area on the Eagle river. The staff is amazing. Very helpful, hospitable, kind and sympathetic to our situation. Thank you especially to Jessica and Tara

I would recommend this place if you are travelling through the area. The staff are amazing, the breakfast was really good except bring your own utensils as the disposable wooden ones were not very good. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us under difficult situations (near by fires, road closures, flight cancelations / delays) Our King bed room was excellent, clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and the hotel was right on the highway (Hwy #1), with-in walking distance of a couple of decent restaurants, a grocery store and other retail stores.

Krissy and the staff are genuine caring people who were very understanding when we ended up in Sicamous for a road closure. They did everything they could to help us out when we were in a pinch. I would highly recommend staying here! Thanks again!

This is a very run down, dirty motel style of accomodation and extremely overpriced. Would not recommend to stay here. Carpets are dirty and dated, and the breakfast didn't have a lot of healtht options, pre frozen, mass produced food.

We used our points and managed to get a spa room for under $100, which was GREAT! The service is excellent and breakfast was one of the best we've had. We were just passing through and it was really really smoky so we didn't get to explore the area, but the hotel itself was great.

It doesn't matter when we come, we are always greeted with a smile and a welcome back when we arrive. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean and the outdoor hot tub is relaxing at the end of a travel day. The breakfast has a good variety of items and the breakfast room is kept clean and well stocked. The outdoor patio seating off the breakfast room is beautiful on a warm sunny morning..

We stayed here as a quick stopover on our road trip. The location was convenient, it was clean, allowed our pets and the kids enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again. Very happy with our stay

A generally clean and well run hotel. Breakfast was good and up to expectations. The room does have a good sized wheel in shower that will please many. The bed height was too tall for a person in a wheelchair that cannot stand. It may be too tall for short persons as well. Beyond that, the hotel is well setup for disabled persons: ramps, doors, etc. Despite the bed height issue, I have used this hotel before and will use them again as one of the few along the trans-canada highway between Calgary and Vancouver. Also see the Kamloops Best Western for a slightly better setup for disabled persons.

A nice clean well run hotel/motel that is pet friendly. They even gave a pet package gift for our dog which was helpful. Tim Hortons, gas station and pub next door. There is a green space in the back of the hotel that overlooks a river with chairs to see. Breakfast room is cool because it has a patio to sit outside. Highway 1 access is easy.We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Best Western Sicamous for one night. It was one of the best stays on our 12 day road trip. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully appointed. The room that I had booked had become unavailable and staff were proactive, friendly, and professional in rectifying the situation. They identified and addressed a potential problem and ensured that we enjoyed our stay.

The bed was comfortable - the room was quiet - the shower was good - the free breakfast was great. Microwave and fridge. The room was clean. It was easy to control the room temperature. The staff were friendly. What more could you want? A perfect place for a stop when driving from the Coast to points east.

Was so nice to go somewhere that had all the little extras, plus the staff was so friendly and helpful. Very refreshing. Breakfast was great. Well stocked and quickly restocked any moment things got low. Room was beautiful and clean. Love the microwave and larger mini fridge too. It's the little things. Oh! And HOOKS! How many hotel rooms are lacking in hooks to hang wet clothes etc?! This one thought of everything. Very happy.

Large packing out back. Appears to be a safe location. Well maintained. Friendly,inviting staff. Plenty of selection at breakfast. Tim Hortons next door. Unfortunately hot tub closed in morning due to chemical imbalance from overnight maintenance. Very disappointed.

Great staff and service, rooms were clean and the breakfast was above and beyond what you usually get at a regular continental breakfast. Staff at the front desk and breakfast were very professional. I will definitely be back.

All this time since I wrote this BW location in Sicamous from last late Spring 2022, so like 9 months ago, and no reply and NO care! No offer of any BW Rewards points either! No response to my review either on not updating their Google page or their website to know that they had their hot tub down for a very long time and some lady only came up with an excuse when I was there. We booked to use a hot tub. You cannot also say a hot tub is working and useable when the jets were busted and no circulation! It becomes just a bacteria hot pool then without jets circulating! How do they not get this! COME ON! Made me ill to talk to such idiots. I would have booked elsewhere with our small pet/(dog) that we paid extra for if we just knew there was no hot tub use. Does this make sense to anyone here at this location???

Very clean well kept property with great amenities. All staff were exceptonally friendly and informed about the area we were visiting and gave us great suggestions about eating places as well as hot spots to visit.

Overall the room was spacious, plug and USB ports easily reached, bedside global light switch is really handy. Wheel-in shower large with removable large bench and shower on a rod with curved nozzle. Bed was far too high and I could not get up. Bathroom's vanity is high enough for power chair user but no cosmetic mirror and cannot see to groom yourself.

Chrissy was amazing and so helpful. She was a comfort for two weary travellers! The next morning, Tiffany was pleasant and accommodating and went above and beyond in helping! Highly recommend this hotel! We will return every time we travel through!

I have stayed here numerous times and every time I am impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff are and how good the breakfast is. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. I would recommend to anyone that the Best Western in Sicamous is worth staying at.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was a double queen. The beds were very comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean. The washroom was also very clean and had lots of towels and face cloths for the entire stay. The location was close to everything. Having a Tim Hortons next door is awesome too! Parking lot is large so if you are pulling a trailer you can turn around and park without issues. The Breakfast room is amazingly clean and spacious as well. All the usual food items to be had. The coffee was very good and hot. We have stayed at several hotels in Sicamous and The Best Western is the place to stay.

We've stopped here on our way between Calgary and Vancouver for over 10 years. This hotel has a real friendly, almost family vibe. The staff are great and are more likely to say yes to a special request than anywhere else I've stayed. Place to dry wet hockey gear - yep Store our bikes - yes Bring our dogs - of course I can't remember them ever saying no, it's always been: I'll check, then a yes. The breakfast is simple but always very good. The huge backyard on the river is nice for kids and dogs to get out and run around on. Love this place.

Very well kept, clean property. The rooms were clean, the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast had a great variety and the service was incredible. It is a very nice stop in the mountains and is close to amenities. Will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in July. We hadn't stayed there before, but we will certainly make a point of staying there again! All of the staff we met were outstanding, from the front desk, to maintenance, to housekeeping, to kitchen and serving staff. Every one of them greeted us in a friendly manner and were excellent ambassadors for the brand. The room was very clean and we had a parking spot close by. The complementary breakfast had quite a variety and there were no shortages of all of the tasty foods. The meal service room was also quite clean, and there was an option to sit outside in a quiet garden area to eat. There was an indoor pool, but we didn't take advantage of this option. As it was summer, and their busiest season, it is best to have a reservation.

We stayed three nights to explore the area. Room was comfortable with parking at the door for ground floor rooms. Staff were exceptional. The ladies running the hot breakfast room did a great job and very friendly. The grounds around the motel were well kept. Tim Hortons next to parking lot. Mexican food at La Cantina was great for Burritto. Indoor pool was very good for a motel but I didn't use as it was very humid inside.

The hotel itself was fine but as it is pet friendly and I was placed over the pet rooms, I was constantly being woken by a dog barking, sometimes for hours. When I complained on the second day, the desk clerk made me feel like it was my fault because I was over the pet rooms, like I had picked that room. The problem wasn't resolved and no one seemed to care.

While in Sicamous, we stayed at the Best Western just off the TransCanada Highway. We arrived early so decided to tour the area. Our first stop was the Visitor Centre where we obtained a Sicamous GeoTour Passport. This geocaching adventure includes a total of 15 caches in and around the town. A kind local gave us the names of some eateries and we selected Moose Mulligans for lunch. After finding 5 caches, we returned to the Best Western Sicamous Inn and checked into our assigned first floor room. The room had two comfortable Queen-sized beds. Other amenities included a tea/coffee maker, small fridge and microwave. In-room Internet is free. We plugged our electric car into the complimentary EV charger and then explored the grounds, locating a walkway to Tim Hortons, a patio deck, indoor pool and hot tub. We settled in for the evening and watched some television before calling it a day.

Overall we really liked this hotel. The pool and two hot tubs (one indoor and one outdoor) were great. Deepest pool we have seen at a hotel. Great breakfast with lots of variety and fresh fruit (peaches were in season while we were there). The one thing we noticed was that the pool is in a separate building which would make it inconvenient in the winter.

This property is a real gem that offers outstanding value. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. If you stay for breakfast, there is a lovely garden area at the back of the breakfast room. You can even go out to eat in the garden. It's a spectacular, peaceful setting. Would strongly recommend this property.

We really like this BW inn. It's the best we've been to so far. The room is very spacious. It was clean and modern and their 3 queen beds were all comfortable. Bathrooms are also big. Their breakfast was quite hearty too. Nothing to complain about. The one negative thing is that they don't have an elevator. But it's alright. they only have 2 floors anyway. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed for one night. We discovered one of the bedsheets was dirty as it had bloodstains and a strand if hair. Breakfast was satisfactory. Scrambled eggs was a bit watery. The waffle was good. The watermelon slices didn't have any taste.

We were so happy to finally get back to the Sicamous Inn family this year. We love staying here as we pass through on our travels and the service we get is always top notch. They treat us like family and we appreciate all that they do. Krissy took care of everything... just like Eileen would do for us. We didn't get a chance to see Eileen this time around but know that she has been a great influence as to how well we are taken care of. Matt is another one that makes sure that we feel welcome and he always has a smile for us. As usual, the rooms are super clean and we were thrilled to see that the carpet has been taken out in the room we were in. (not a huge fan of carpet although we never had any problems with the cleanliness of the carpets here). The flowers are beautiful and the back patio is still one of my favorite places to sit back and relax. The breakfast staff and outside seating area make for a great start to any day. Thank you once again for all that you do, for taking care of us and for being our Sicamous family.

Hot tub fail! So super tired of hot tub fails!! I booked cause we have a small dog and could use the outside hot tub for a change. Got changed and no working jets! No circulation. No working jets in the inside one too! Gets frustrating to pay good money and drive an hr and 45 mins to just have a hot tub fail! I booked cause of the hot tub for all the work I do! And all the driving I did this past week to Edmonton and back to Kelowna two different times! Was told it would not be working today cause a plumber needed to be called in. At 6 pm only! ): NOT GOOD, NOT RIGHT! Many come for breakfast only, I come for hot tub use and could care less on breakfasts! Can get a breakfast sandwich for like $5 total! Aug 16/22.

We tryused to stay at this hotel on our way to and/or from Vancouver/Calgarybefore the pandemic. Last week we were stopped in Sicamous on our back from Vancouver and was happy to see the service was as good as before the pandemic. Excellent as always including the breakfast!

The Best Western in Sicamos really IS a pet friendly motel. I actually felt like my pet was welcome, not just tolerated. They even provided a lovely packaged pet welcome package, complete with info, treats, pick-up bags & a free dog was at near by Bosley's. The room had been updated and was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. Then to top it all off they have gluten and dairy free options available on request in their complimentary breakfast. I couldn't have asked for anything more !

We stayed here 3 nights and from check in to check out, I couldn't fault it. The front receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a great size, the cleaning team do a wonderful job at keeping the rooms to a high cleaning standard. The bathroom accessories are good quality and ample. The breakfast and staff are great. I love the fact you can sit outside in the well kept garden to eat. We really felt all the staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely come back.

We needed a pet friendly room and space to relax, catch up on sleep, and re group after a 4 day houseboat trip. This hotel has a great HUGE grassy space for dogs to run around with lounge chairs to relax in. The room was pretty standard but clean. Plenty of good parking and we appreciate access doors right outside when we're travelling with our dogs, rather than walking them through a hotel lobby.

Just off the Trans Canada Hwy. A 2-level complex; no elevators. Pleasant, quick check-in. Friendly staff. Room was clean and well-supplied. The breakfast is really deluxe here, more items than usual, and a very friendly staff! Lovely surroundings and some dining options nearby.

Absolutely was impressed with service, cleanliness of room and breakfast! Totally recommend to families- huge swimming pool & 2 hot tubs ; the outdoor patio was a special treat to enjoy breakfast outdoors; beautiful back yard !

We've stayed here several times. It's a great location right on the #1 highway so it's easy access on your travels. Staff is friendly, the rooms are spotless and even though the hotel was filled to capacity this last visit we didn't hear another guest. Beds are comfy and there is a Tim's in the same parking lot!

Everything about the Sicamous Best Western is exceptional. Location, staff, service, cleanliness, amenities, breakfast- hot and cold, parking, pool, hot tubs, closeness to town and hiway, quiet, A/C was great- cool and quiet.

Staff is great, check in was friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was very good, lot's of choices and a great patio to enjoy your breakfast. Back yard is right on the Eagle River. 7-11, Tim Hortons and Joe Schmucks Roadhouse (great food) all within 2 minute walk. Lot's of parking

The Best Western Sicamous Inn is a well-run hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Although the breakfast was simple, it was delicious and well-prepared. The workers who laid out the food service were genuine and easy to talk to.

Due to booking later, we paid a bit more than expected but the room was great. The grounds are beautifully cared for and well thought out with areas designated for pets. We did not use the pool or hot tub but will plan on spending more time on the next visit and using these facilities. The breakfast was probably one of the nicest that we have encountered. Lots of choice in a very pleasant setting. Outdoor tables were available also for those so inclined.

the only issue it was expensive, very good breakfast, the hot tub was good, the rooms were clean, very friendly staff, a little noisy as car alarm repeatable going off, not the fault of the hotel staff

Excellent rooms- spacious, clean and everything worked as it should do. Really nice breakfast room and choice of food. Excellent pool. On the edge of small town - walkable to the river and boats. Staff really helpful . Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will stay if ever we venture to Canada again

We needed to stay longer than checkout time because two of us had to work remotely, and the staff extended our card for the business centre so we could work! I was very thankful. We had a very good stay at Best Western. The property is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. We had a good nights sleep. The staff is very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was decent. We did not have an opportunity to use the hot tub or pool.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly room worked very well for our overnight stay with 2 dogs. Room had direct access to outside and was only a few steps to pet friendly area. Included breakfast is sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

This stop on our 10 day road trip was a highlight! Great room and bed, so clean and hotel is not showing any signs of disrepair. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Pool and outdoor hot tub were a hit, and the grounds are gorgeous. Great location in town. Breakfast was hot and tasty, with the cutest courtyard to eat in if you want. Our young kids were so happy here. We will make a point of stopping here again, even if it means stopping early or driving a little further on our next trip!! Thank you!!

It's our go to hotel when staying in the Shuswap region on our drive to/from Calgary & Vancouver because: it's in a quiet location in Sicamous just off the highway; the hotel is well kept, rooms are clean with comfy beds, clean linens, in good condition; the breakfast buffet is clean & nicely stocked; booking & checkin/out are efficient; staff are very friendly & professional. We also have felt safe staying at the BW Sicamous during the pandemic because of this hotel's high standards & focus on customer service & safety.

One of the flagship locations in the best western chain. It doesnt get better than this. Excellent facility, meticulous the way it is kept. Caring helpful staff. Breakfast selections second to none. Always a joy to stay there. A highlite of my trips to BC.

Outdoor hot tub at the end of a long travel day was awesome. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Visited local pub on the waterfront, and had a delicious corn chowder after check in. Excellent location.

Super clean, great friendly staff, indoor AND outdoor hot tubs, nice pool, quiet even though close to the highway, super convenient having an earlier check in and later check out times, Highly Recommend!

We have stayed here 4 times and the entire staff are the most friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Just set back off the highway so you can't really hear any traffic. We could travel farther and get a hotel closer to our destination, but we prefer to stay here because of the friendly staff. Great restaurant next door for dinner.

staff was great breakfast was good rooms were good and tthe staff was nice enough to upgrade our room. it was a late get in and a early leave and was treated very good. i would love to say more about this room but i spent 8 hours there.

Our room was meticulously clean and beautifully furnished! The bed was so comfortable, we had a better sleep than at home! Breakfast was incredible and had a delicious combination of both hot and cold items. Every staff person we met was so friendly, we honestly can't say enough about them and our whole stay. Well done, we'll be back!

A gem of a property in The Best Western Chain. Located right off the main highway, yet secluded so traffic noise is not heard. Rooms are spotless, added electrical plugs for all your devices. Hot tubs, games and toys for children upon request. The breakfast room is large and cheerful with the option to sit outside during nice weather. Breakfast Choices are plentiful, hot is hot and cold is appropriately chilly. Staff are always welcoming, they focus on you and listen carefully to all requests. You can watch your vehicle, etc., on the CCTV which is an added bonus.

Clean, basic, good customer service... What more do you need? Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Parking lot secure. Close to Tim Hortons. Access to town and all other amenities was close enough. Cant really ask for more.

Very nice accommodation. Loved being able to park in front of door to room and unload. Nice mattress and bedding. Room was spacious. Big chair and footstool to relax. Shower was wonderful. Pet friendly for others bringing their pets. Will be back.

We were driving to Calgary with my folks and they always stay at the Best Western in Sicamous. So we figured let's stay there. This hotel is in a great location just off of the HWY. There is a Tim Hortons right beside it and restaurant a 2 mins walk away. The reception was very friendly and welcoming. Even in a height of covid time. We were then told we were staying in the building right across from the entrance and they warned us there was no elevator. Which was fine with us. If you are someone who has trouble with stairs or packing your bags up flights of stairs I highly recommend to request a bottom floor at booking. The properly was nice, clean and well maintained. We booked a large room for us all to share how we were only going to be there about 12 hours. I believe the room on their website was called Suite- 2 Rooms 2 Beds (Name on the door was Mara Suite), Has a pull out couch and dining area. This room was massive and a great layout for a family. There was a good size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, full cupboards of dishes and silverware. Table that held 6 adults, full size couch and coffee table queen bed, dresser, desk and tv with stand. In the bedroom there was a king bed with tv and dresser. My favourite part was probably the sink and mirror area outside of the bathroom. Someone could be using the bathroom and it still allowed people to get ready for the day instead of a line up at the door. The washroom was a good size as well. There was another bathroom sink, toilet and tub/shower. They had nice bathroom products available. Beds were very comfortable and we all slept like babies. I thought there would be a lot of noise being close to the highway but we didn't hear anything. The next morning we all had a full breakfast that was included and we were on our way. We would stay here again happily!

Very clean hotel, friendly and efficient staff, allowed us to check in early, gave directions and dinner suggestions. Room very clean, had everything you would need to stay, Quiet and handy, located just off the main road. A very pleasant experience.

The Best Western Sicamous is probably one of the best hotels out there. The rooms are always clean and the location is accessible to all the services offered in Sicamous. They have excellent service and provide an exceptional breakfast that is included in your stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We look forward returning again in the future.

The place was beautiful. Great and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast menu. All Covid precautions in place. Quick check in and check out. Really comfortable beds. I would totally recommend this place. Best Western is going to be my go to hotel for trips now.

We spent a night here on our way to Banff from Whistler. This hotel was perfect for the night. Bed very comfortable and the room was really big and clean. Breakfast was ok; waffles, bacon, eggs, toast, cereal etc. Staff were also friendly and helpful and the hotel is close to the main road so easy to find but is far enough back so as not to be bothered by the traffic.

Great breakfast, clean room, and EV charging really added to our enjoyment. Very quiet. Staff were good at directing us to restaurants and places of interest. Location is really good, just off Trans Canada.

My room was lovely, the bed was nice. However the carpet was dirty, tub slimy greasy & widows were dirty. When I brought other people's food remains and hair to the desk clerk they were sympathetic and kind which was nice. Big atta boy for the "I am so sorry" face. The next morning they were still SO SORRY for the dirty room so they gave me a gift card. Nice right? Huge $5 Tim Horton's gift card hmmmm. 2 days later went for a coffee at Timmy's BIG SURPPRIZE blank card no free coffee. Felt like an F U for complaining about their dirty room. Will never stay there again

We paid $175 for one night here, which I think reflects Covid catch-up inflation, but the room was very clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent, served overlooking a quiet, treed back yard. No road or train noise despite proximity to highway and tracks. Perfect.

The room was nice had the jacuzzi tub I was surprised to see a fireplace also. The pool and hot tubs were great especially the hot tub outside that has a gas fireplace. The breakfast was good and service was excellent. The staff were all excellent.

Other than the price, the stay was very good. Friendly, helpful and happy staff, beautiful area, the golf course restaurant on the lake were amazing. Elevators to the second floor would be nice. Also, balconies to all the second floor rooms would give every guest the same experience.

Both check in and check out was very quick and easy, and the front desk staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and felt very spacious. The bed was very soft which was a bonus. The only negative is that the ceilings are basically paper thin and it sounded like I had a herd of elephants above me, which made falling asleep incredibly difficult. I would definitely stay here again but would definitely request a room upstairs.

Such friendly staff, beautiful grounds and great location. Extremely clean inside and exterior. Beds were so comfortable. Great pool and hot tubs! Love all the pet friendly areas throughout the property and the doggie treat bag. Wifi worked great! Definitely on our list of places to come back too.

Travel during Covid is challenging, adding in a wildfire and the staff went out of there way to make everything work. Will always stay at this hotel when in the area. Extra special shout out to the ladies at breakfast!

A wonderful hotel with very good amenities. The breakfast was one of the best I've had, and every aspect of the trip was perfect. The beds, Internet, pool area, and surrounding grounds were just what you'd expect from a quality property like this. Will definitely be back.

Pet friendly hotel. There is a nice large grassy area for dogs (not fenced) and pick up bags if needed. Ground floor rooms you can park directly in front of room. Hotel is in good location, off highway but close enough, Timmy's next to hotel.

To be honest, the last BW I stayed in had bedbugs…but I read the reviews and trusted them. Not only did this hotel make up for the last BW I stayed at, it exceeded my expectations! The room was very clean (I inspect every corner and pull back bedsheets in every hotel I stay in). There was a stain on the carpet, but the attention to all other aspects of cleanliness of this hotel made up for that. Hotels can't be blamed for guest accidents that they can't fix right away! Trust me when I say this was clean. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to treat me and my son like they had known is for years. The pool is extremely clean and so are all other areas of this hotel. Even the other guests were beyond friendly! I will definitely return. I am super picky when it comes to hotels. Although this one might or have a beach or fancy pool, it was by far worth the price I paid.

As always, the Sicamous Inn is helping to take care of people in the community. For this visit we met many locals that were staying at the hotel due to a wildfire in the area and an evacuation order. Many of the local people that we met spoke highly of the management and staff at the hotel and we were so pleased to hear that. We have always commended the hard working, professional and friendly staff at the Sicamous Inn, they have always treated us like family. We have been coming here for over 20 years as we 'pass through'. to Wine Country and annual family vacations. They are the best and it was great to meet so many locals who had been displaced at this very stressful time.

During these trying times of Covid, we were unable to travel as often as we like and we missed our friends at the Sicamous Inn. It was great getting to see everyone again, the management and staff continue to make us feel at home. Everyone is welcoming, professional, friendly, and upbeat. We will be back.... again and again.

Had to check in last minute due to a family emergency, staff was very friendly about it and rooms were clean. It was on the expensive side for the location and room we stayed in though. Wifi was pretty good, had no major issues. This is an easy to find hotel as it is right off the highway!

Everyone, from the front desk at check-in, the breakfast team and the room maintenance staff, all were kind, helpful and most professional. Very comfortable beds! We look forward to stying with you on our return trip. Rod S

Our travel during Covid-19 was essential and this hotel made sure we felt safe, everything was clean and sanitized. Would stay here again. 10/10!

We stayed in the family suite which had 2 bedrooms with 3 beds. The kids were happy that they didn't have to share a bed and parents were happy we got some private space. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was friendly.

I can not say enough about this hotel. I have stayed in many throughout my life all over the world and this hotel really impressed me with how clean it was. Not to mention the 5 star service. These times during covid are stressful enough. They made it easy.

The service was amazing. The room was amazing. The beds were amazing. From start to finish my experience with this best western was exactly what anyone could possibly want from a hotel. The clerk was extremely helpful and offered us a discount. I have a broken leg and he gave me a very convenient and close room. The room itself was perfect. Clean comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. 5 stars in my book. It was refreshing after the first attempt to stay at a best western in Penticton BC. The clerk was incredibly rude and extremely unwilling to help us. I would never recommend the Penticton BC location but would very highly recommend the Sicamous location.

What a wonderful property! We stayed one night with our dogs. Check in was quick and the staff was very friendly. We were given a room on the ground floor and the end of the building with an outside entrance. Parking was easy, there was space right in front of our door. There is a great area beside the property and a large lawned area behind the property to take the dogs out. The hotel is right on the river and there is a great deck area that overlooks the river. We found a great off leash park 5 mins away from the hotel as well. Our room was spotless and very spacious. The bed was comfortable. We didn't hear any noise from the highway. There was a coffee maker and fridge in the room which was handy. We didn't have the breakfast as we left early but it appears that this property has great Covid protocols in place. The Tim Horton's was right beside the hotel which was convenient and there is a pub right next door that had great food. We will definitely stay here again, hopefully longer than 1 night so we can enjoy more of the area.

This is a flagship hotel in the Best Western Chain. Impeccable location, a real pride in ownership. Friendly caring staff. Always a joy to stay there. Will be looking forward to straying there again in the future.

We stayed one night at the Best Western in Sicamous. Social-distancing & masks are required in the lobby. Our room was clean & quiet with a comfortable bed & good air-conditioning. The Grab ‘n Go Breakfast is a great option during the pandemic. Well done!

Speedy check in , we pulled in late after a bad experience with another local Motel . They have a big area along the river to sit and enjoy the view and take in some fresh mountain air . Very Large clean and well Equipped doggy area . Clean modern rooms and good location

Our family enjoyed our stay here, very clean and new looking. Reasonably priced. The grounds are well taken care of and the service was good. We especially appreciated the Covid modified breakfast service! Would absolutely stay here again!

We travel a lot and the staff at the Best Western Sicamous Inn are fantastic. No matter when we show up, last minute passing through or a planned vacation, we are always greeted with a smile (you can tell even with masks on) and treated like family. The rooms are spacious and always very clean. The flowers around the hotel and the grounds out back are extremely well maintained. The back patio offers a relaxing view of the Eagle River with a mountain backdrop that is spectacular. If you've had a long day of travelling and don't want to get back in the car or on the motorcycle, there is a restaurant, a Tim Horton's, as well as a 7-11 as neighbors. This is our home away from home when we travel to BC. The adjustments and new protocols that they have made for Covid-19 make us feel safe and comfortable in our new travels. We recently stayed here for 4 mights. The hotel is very pet friendly which is important to us. The weather was very hot so the best option was to leave the dog in the room. We spoke with the staff and left our cell number in case there was any problem (there was not) The staff were very receptive to this idea. The room was clean and quite updated. The grounds were nicely kept, lots of room to walk the dog. The back patio overlooking the river was lovely. The staff are very friendly. With COVID 19 the breakfast buffet was not an option however there is a counter area where the staff serve you what the breakfast is offering that morning. The food was fine. A nice little pub and restaurant is within a 2 minute walk or Tim Hortons is in the same parking let. The only little glitch was that when we booked we were told the pool was open, even with COVID 19. other hotels are doing by appointment pool times. This was a wee bit disappointing. i would stay here again and recommend it to people traveling with pets.

I used the wheelchair accessible room at this hotel and found that my wheel in shower chair was able to get in easily. I would have liked the length of the hose from the shower head to the wall was longer because when you are sitting down to shower you get too far away from the shower head and not easy to wash things like feet, bum etc. Okay, so I like a clean bum :) I know this will happen so I bring my own shower head on a 3 foot hose with a brass male to male threaded coupler. I then take off their shower head and attach my extra hose and head and then I have more like a 6 foot long hose to shower however I would like.

We usually stay here when in town. It is always clean and the front desk staff are always very welcoming. With covid they didn't have the usual hot breakfast. Which we missed as it is always a highlight, but understandable in the current situation. Our room was clean and perfect. They even had robes in the room! I usually stay at Holiday Inns but am finding Best Western is really upping their game and I may just swap loyalty programs as BW is consistently more impressive lately. Also the beds are so comfortable!! We will be back!

We stayed in the newer Hotel Building, rather than the older Motel Building. It was a nice & modern building. A bit noisy with the Tim Horton's next door, but overall we were happy and would stay there again. We did not take part in the free breakfast, so we can offer no input on that. It is a reduced COVID-19 menu, so keep that in mind.

This is our go to hotel when travelling between Vancouver Island and Calgary because it's always clean, comfy, quiet, and has excellent customer service. I commend the staff for continuing to provide a wonderful guest experience despite the added burden of COVID-19 protocols. We did miss the tasty breakfast that is normally available but felt the BW Sicamous did a good job of providing a more basic option. I would recommend that face masks be required of guests when they are in the breakfast room to help protect each other while in line and the staff member preparing food requests. (She was wearing a mask and gloves and was preparing food behind a plexiglass barrier.)

Stayed 1 night in 2 queen bed room. Staff friendly and kind. Room was very clean and spacious. Pool was closed which didn't show on website when booked because of COVID and maintenance but hotel did there best to compensate. Vending machine out of order but 7-11 across street and Tim Hortons right behind . COVID breakfast was a breakfast sandwich and could get yogurt berries and muffin, boiled egg. Overall very nice and clean hotel, a little pricey but was happy to stay there .

Really happy with the staff at check in, friendly and very polite. Liked the room, spacious and very clean. Bathroom was a bit small but sufficient. Nicely decorated. I really appreciated the chairs in the rooms were not fabric but a leather type. Easy to clean and sanitize during these COVID times. My only issue was we were on the bottom room with another level of rooms above us and the guests above us were really noisy, kids running up and down the corridor which drove me crazy. No fault of the hotel just inconsiderate guests. On the back of the hotel is a lovely green space with chairs to sit on overlooking the river so you think that would have been better for the kids to play in instead of disturbing others. Also we were on the end unit by the stairs leading to the second floor which was disturbing whenever guests went up to their rooms. So I recommend this hotel but if you are sensitive to noise like me ask the hotel to put you on the second level away from the stairs. Grounds were very nicely maintained as well. Right off the highway so easy to find. Liked that there was a Tim Hortons next door. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Everything I can say about this Inn is positive. The bed was comfortable, staff very attentive, location excellent etc. Tim Horton's and 7-11 right next door. Even though it was close to the highway it wasn't noisy. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds... excellent Covid cleaning. After each stay rooms are cleaned and sanitized and left for 2 days before the next guest can use them. Friendly service. Perfect stopover enroute to Calgary.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic! Very efficient at checking in and out. The rooms were very clean and our overall experience there was wonderful! There was a Tim Hortons located conveniently next door and it was a short drive to the lake!

Many hotels describe themselves as Pet Friendly - but in actuality tend to vary from Pet Barely Tolerated, to Pet Welcoming, and this hotel is definitely in the latter category. We were provided with a pet welcome package of treats, and a pet policy written in warm, friendly language. Our room had an exterior entrance (no interior corridor), and there was a clearly defined green area for walking our dog, as well as an off-leash dog park about a 15-minute walk away. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a hot breakfast available, as expected with the Best Western brand. Unfortunately, only disposable paper plates, cups and cutlery were available. This was our only disappointment, and the reason for 4 stars for this stay, rather than 5.

We had a 2 bed room, ground floor and pet friendly. The check in guy was nice. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and reasonably varied.There was Occasional road noise but otherwise quiet.

My wife and I stayed at the Sicamous Inn in January 2020 - 1-night. Did the same in 2019. Very pleasant staff - very comfortable - nice dining room - good breakfast (complimentary). Will stay again and recommend.

We sled in Sicamous a couple of times a year and always choose the Best Western. It is great location, the hot tubs are awesome and drying room is a great bonus after a great day sledding. The rooms are spacious and nicely updated.

While checking in Eric remembered me from before. He also knew I liked an email copy of my bill. He checked for availability to upgrade my room and I was given a room with a king size bed and a lounging TV room. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. I had the included breakfast in the morning and the staff were very friendly and the food was good and lots of it. I would highly recommend Sicamous Best Western. It is a well managed facility.

our family of 3 couples and two under five had a great time with lots of room, pool and breakfast with room for us to use the games cupboard before checkout! Our little ones were welcomed at early breakfast and more after their swim!

This hotel has clean rooms. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold items. The internet worked well. It snowed the morning we left. The hotel worker who cleaned off the sidewalks also shoveled around our car and cleared the snow off of our car. The lady at the front desk checked the road reports for us.

We've stayed here several times, and have always found the service to be outstanding. The room was meticulously clean, the hallways wide and quiet, the beds comfortable, the bathroom vanity very spacious and beautiful, the shower head so wonderful I talked my partner into having a shower even when they weren't planning to, the towels soft, and the TV large. We go out of our way to make sure we can stop at this hotel on our way to the coast. There is a clear pride of ownership evidenced by the friendly and welcoming hotel staff. And then there's the breakfast - everything from toast, waffles and bagels, to sausages and eggs and porridge, with a spacious place to eat so you don't feel you're rushed. This is our favourite hotel in western Canada - it was fantastic!

This was a great hotel for sledders. Ample parking even for large trailers and video surveillance in the parking lot that displays on tvs in the rooms. Power was out one night which could be backed up with a generator in the future because the heat did not work. In winter this is not acceptable.

This property is and always has been welcoming to us. The huge evergreen trees and greenery around makes stand out from the surrounding area. The rooms are very well appointed, with very comfy beds and pillow selections. Very clean bathrooms. If you do have the chance to stay in one of the larger suites, you will have a kitchenette with a table for 6; a living room area and a separate bedroom with a king size bed and more than enough space to chill out from a long drive.

Rooms appear to have been upgraded recently .... This is probably the best accommodations in Sicamous. Comfortable beds. Nice size rooms . Tim Hortins next door ... Joe Smucks Road House next to property ... both good food , beverage options without having to drive .

After staying at many BW properties we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detailed offered at this "standard" property in Sicamous. We understood that the boating crowd would no longer be rampant and had no idea that the sledding community also enjoyed the area. Fortunately for us, almost no one was around so the hotel itself was quiet. The hotel is constructed facing the main highway so some areas do get quite a bit of highway noise (ours was one of them) so if that bothers you, ensure to ask for a room facing away from the highway. When we entered the lobby we were immediately greeted by a warm and friendly staff member who responded to our inquiry by letting us know that there was a hockey bus group that was checked into the hotel. We were assigned a room on the second floor (stairs only) of the relatively new addition which directly overlooks the 24 hr Tim Horton's (no mention of that). The room seemed quite large when we walked in and there was a "jetted tub" in the main room and a large shower in the bathroom. The shower was especially nice in that the shower head was located 7 feet above the floor so almost anyone can get under the water flow (unlike some miniature places). The room had a comfortable king sized bed and an electric fireplace for ambiance. The fact that the sheer drapes would fly into the air every time the room heater started was a bit disconcerting however, that was resolved by tying a knot in them. We noticed that they had used shorted cords where possible and ensured longer cords were tied up and out of the way so everything look neat and tidy. They also had the receptacles at the right height and included USB outlets for cell phone charging. Unlike many places, they also ensured they had an extra blanket in the room too. One minor issue was the fact that their bathrobes were made out of stretch material and would not fit larger people. We did fall asleep with the electric fireplace going and did not realize till late in the night how much noise the fan made. When we turned it off, the traffic noise was much more evident. We mentioned it at the front desk the next day and when we returned, the noise was gone but there was a strange odor in the room so perhaps they lubricated the fan (with something that smells really bad). One thing we thought was great was the fact that one needed a card key to access the building. Another plus was the fact that the cameras surveiling the parking areas can be viewed via the tv system so if you are concerned about your vehicle (sled, boat, bus, etc) you can set the channel and watch them all night. We went for breakfast in the morning (again accessed via a card key) and it was the basic fare offered by most of the BW chain (standard cereals, waffles, fruit, yogurt, eggs, meat, breads, etc and coffees and teas). The room was nicely set up with a single computer "business center" in the same room. We looked into the pool area as well which looked great and well lit. Matthew was especially helpful as was another lady who directed us to a craft sale (wrong day) in town and a fruit and nut event in Salmon Arm.

We stayed in the new building and the room was comfortable, clean and the bed was heavenly. The continental breakfast was one of the better ones I have had and the staff were quite helpful and friendly.

I stopped when travelling thru one evening. The hotel was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast hot and tasty. The staff was friendly and upgraded my room, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this location.

We have always loved this hotel. It's halfway point on our drive from Calgary. They were able to get us into a wheelchair room with a grab bar in the bathroom for my mom at the last minute. It was clean and organized, easy to pack in and out of. The pool is pristine. The breakfast was lovely and had options for everyone in our three generation group.

I have a severe cinnamon allergy and on each stay at a Best Western Hotel/Motel, it is taken seriously and in any public area especially the dining area, all odours and foods containing cinnamon are removed.

This hotel is easily accessible off of Highway 1. Located right next door to Tim Hortons. The hotel has been very well maintained with updates to the rooms and common areas. The check in was quick and the front desk people were very friendly. The room was very clean, and was very spacious. Room was also very quiet with very little road noise. The breakfast was nice as well with lots of options. Will stay here again.

We have stayed here at least three times. It is always wonderful. Large, comfortable rooms. Sparkling clean indoor pool, as well as indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Fantastic breakfast which includes fresh fruit (this time it was plums.) Easy access and lots of parking. If you are a sports team, the hotel has an equipment drying room for you to use.

Loved this hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and they gave us info of where to go in town. Really liked that we could park right in front of our room. Location was perfect for what we needed. Room was really clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. This was a better breakfast then if we would have went out to eat. The staff were so friendly and efficient. Everything was fresh and constantly being filled. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great option if you are staying in Sicamous, especially if you have a dog. Pet friendly. Easy access (just off the highway) with lots of parking. Great breakfast. Clean and everything worked.

This was a very decent hotel for a night's stay. Large, clean rooms with a great buffet breakfast. Rooms were quiet and well located. We found it a bit difficult to find with GPS. You have to watch that you get the address correct (eg other communities such as Salmon Arm and Blind Bay with similar addresses had us on a bit of a wild goose chase.

We chose this hotel as a one-night stopping point between Vancouver and Emerald Lake and it was an easy and cost-effective option for our needs. We were greeted by courteous front-desk service and an exceptionally clean room - even the TV remote was sanitised! We enjoyed the convenience of a 7-Eleven and gas station on one side plus Joe Schmuck's Roadhouse offering tasty dinner options on the other. It was also reassuring and convenient to be able to park our car directly in front of our room. Thanks for a great stay!

This room was very comfortable and the layout of the room was very thoughtfully completed. There was attention to everything I might need - everything from extra towels,, to hooks to hang them on! I hate when they give you towels and no place to hang them! The bed was comfortable with 2 nice reading chairs. This was the 8th hotel room on a 10 day trip and it was far above all the rest! It was a pleasure to stay here!

We stayed in the hotel side as opposed to the motel section. Had a fantastic stay! We booked the 2 bedroom family suite. Room was impeccably clean, full of handy amenities, fridge, coffee maker, beds were comfy, sitting areas convenient, staff were friendly, easy parking, good location, and fabulous complimentary breakfast served. It had fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle station, cereals, yogurt, pastries, juice, coffee & more. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here on our way home to SK from Vancouver. The room and pool were great... clean and inviting. If you want a quiet place to relax, this is it. Not many restaurants to choose from, the first two we came across were closed down. But it is a small town, so it's to be expected.

We had a 2 bedroom family room with a separate room for us and 2 queens for the children to share. The only negative was the AC was in the 2 bed section. The dryer had a built in nightlight. The room was very clean. There was a slight odour when we turned on the AC. The children really enjoyed the pool. It was very clean and they had a few noodles and life jackets to use. There was something for everyone at the breakfast. I really enjoyed the lovely peaches and blueberries. The children enjoyed the waffles and bagels with cream cheese. The coffee could be stronger in my opinion. We would definitely stay here again and this place was rated #1 by our children out of all the places where we stayed.

We stayed five nights in July and the hotel and grounds are immaculate!! The Staff are super friendly... daily breakfast was really good with so much to choose from and daily fresh local fruit. The indoor pool although indoors was great to swim laps and then enjoy the outdoor hot tub. Definitely the best place to stay in Sicamous!! Would recommend and go back again!!

This hotel took us by surprise. It was what we were looking for in a best western plus . Rooms were updated and clean .Staff was excellent. . Great breakfast with many options, and the breakfast garden area was absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend it . We will certainly stay here again .

My dog and I were so comfortable staying overnight at the BW Sicamous. I found it quiet and clean. Very pleasant setting with the building set off the highway with a mountain and trees behind. Professional, friendly staff.

My granddaughters and I spent a night here on a recent road trip and we all highly recommend it. The room was super clean and quiet and looked recently renovated. The pool and two hot tubs were great. The breakfast was the best part - hot and cold foods and fresh fruit that is in season - peaches, blueberries, plums - wowowow! No wonder this is a popular place!

Very specious suite that was very clean. Didn't spending time in our room which was too bad we could of really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Definitely recommend this hotel the continental breakfast.... DELICIOUS! Beautiful grounds so well maintained.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find this gem. A perfect stop on our way to Banff. We needed a wheelchair accessible room with a roll-in shower. It turned out to be perfect with lots of room and one of the nicer accessible showers. The room was clean and modern and the breakfast was exceptional. The two ladies in charge of the breakfast room were friendly and hard working. They hustled to keep the tables clean and replace items. There are 2 restaurants at each end of the property to choose from like Tim Hortons. We had a great dinner at Joe Schmucks.

We don't miss this hotel on our way from Calgary to Vancouver. The price, quality of rooms and amazing breakfast (that will include fresh fruit from the valley this time of year) are always of excellent standard. The staff are cheerful and eager to help make your stay more enjoyable. They have parking lot cameras so you can watch your snowmobiles in the winter :-). The owners take great pride in their hotel and that is evident in all they do.

This gem is where we stay every time we travel to the Okanagan. It is a half way point and we stay here so I don't have to drive all day. We purposely stay here for our mid way rest. And there is ice cream across the street.

Very satisfied with this accommodation. Non-smoking and no pets allowed in rooms which we really appreciate. The grounds are very nicely landscaped and include an off leash area and our dog was very happy to sleep in our vehicle. We thought The room cost was a little high for comparable accommodation.

We always stay at BW Sicamous because it's consistently well run and good value. They have professional, friendly staff; the rooms are very clean; the property is well maintained (shows pride of ownership); has an excellent breakfast included in the room price; a great location - it's our go to when travelling the Trans-Canada Highway 1 between Calgary and Vancouver.

Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, must have been renovated recently. Bathrooms are very new looking. Carpets were very clean. Furnishings looked new also. Breakfast was awesome! Would definitely stay again.

A great place to stop overnight from a long trip from Calgary! You need to check in to this hotel! The breakfast is amazing!!! From waffles, to muffins to the coffee! The staff are very friendly and informative.

Great place for a night rest if you're traveling from west coast to prairie. Good breakfast and some nice restaurants around Sicamous. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable. It's a quiet place except the water running in the bathrooms.

Rooms always super clean and staff super friendly. Had to leave before breakfast so they packed us a small-lunch bag. The new building is my favourite, very cozy. There is a Tim Hortons and restaurant right beside and now a 7 eleven which is very nice.

The whole family enjoyed our short stay at Best Western Sicamous, BC. My kids wanted to stay longer here. They have a nice place, nice pool and hot tubs, parking space is big, and the breakfast was excellent. We'll definitely going back to this hotel on our next road trips towards the way.

We stayed 1 night at this location prior to boarding a houseboat with Twin Anchors. It was the perfect place to stay. Reasonable price, smooth check in/out process. Comfortable, clean rooms. Nice pool and outdoor hot tub to enjoy. Amazing breakfast that is provided with your stay and its a 3 minute drive to Twin Anchors. We couldn't of asked for a better hotel

We arrived when it was pouring rain out and it never really stopped. The staff were friendly upon arrival and checked us in very quickly. We were planning on doing a family BBQ outside as there is an amazing courtyard with a BBQ. The problem was it was pouring. We had 16 people in our group and no where to eat. The staff let us use the breakfast area and pulled the BBQ under the covered area for us. We had lots of kids in our group and they all loved the pool. The adults loved the Hot Tube outside. If you need a place to relax and that is clean and friendly this place hits all the buttons. Thanks for making our stay and many others from the gathering a great one!

We needed a place to stay for the night between Vancouver and Calgary and this hotel suited us well. we arrived as a large group was checking in but didn't have to wait long to be greeted by the gentleman at the front desk. He apologized for the wait (it was less than 5 minutes) and was cheerful and friendly. He checked us out the next morning and was just as friendly the next morning. I wish I had looked at his name tag so I could give him a shout out because he started and ended our stay on an amazing note. While at the hotel we used the pool and hot tubs and had breakfast (delicious!) in their breakfast room. Everything was perfect during our stay and I wouldn't change a thing. We stayed in Kamloops at a Best Western on our way out to the island and I was really disappointed, but the Best Western in Sicamous ended our trip on a high note! Will definitely be staying again.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great this BW was; it was a stopover on a long road trip. There was a cool vibe (I know it sounds strange) amongst the travelers I met. The pool wasn't overchlorinated like so many hotels and there's indoor and outdoor hot tub options. With a fireplace next to the outdoor one! Far enough from the highway that the room was quiet. Room was large, with a work desk. The sink was outside the bathroom. Always felt safe, great breakfast, ample parking. Will definitely stay again.

Ideal stop over between Vancouver and Banff; friendly staff, clean good sized room, and complimentary breakfast provided, ample parking. Although we did not use it, the site as an indoor pool and hot tub.

Great place. Friendly staff. Lots of options for the complimentary breakfast. The room was clean. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the very strong coffee in the room. That was remedied in the breakfast room where there were choices. Good location and we were able to park our truck and trailer in the parking lot

Driving from Vancouver to Calgary we decided to stop over here. It was a great choice. From the friendly staff to the location, everything was great. The location is perfect - easy to find just off the highway. The rooms are spotlessly clean, a good size and very comfortable. Plenty of parking and surrounded by beautiful nature. There are laundry facilities which is something that every hotel/ motel should provide, pool, hot tub and breakfast. If you are in the area don't consider anywhere else. This place is the one to stay at.

Clean, easy to find, friendly staff, ample parking. Full amenities at this hotel incl pool, indoor & outdoor hot tubs, lots of grassy area with designated pet areas. Pets are allowed and when you check in with your pets they give you a goodie bag for your pets (including poop pick up bags and some milk bone treats!). Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, clean and lovely area - great restaurant and dairy farm are within walking distance. Breakfast comes included, and was reasonable. Room was relatively quiet despite a wedding party happening below. Only complaint was that we needed to walk up a couple of flights of stairs to get to room, which is always a pain with suit cases.

I don't write reviews for every hotel we stay at, but I'm happy to do so for this hotel. We stayed here recently for one night and were offered a room upgrade to a suite (platinum members). The room was really nice and clean, as always at Best Western. Breakfast was also good, and the staff was extremely friendly. Thanks again for your hospitality!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The level of service, cleanliness, and amenities were all above expectations - kudos. We enjoyed the room, the convenient and good breakfast, and the front office staff was excellent. Well done, definitely recommend.

We just loved this property! It is a very nice place with lots of amenities! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The free breakfast is the best that we've seen. I enjoyed the indoor pool and two hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoors. There is a very large green space behind the main building bordering the river. A patio complete with BBQs, chairs and tables is ideal for family groups or sports teams to enjoy an outdoor get-together. All in all this is a wonderful place to spend some time!

The room we had is the cleanest room we have had in years. Breakfast was fully satisfactory and it and the room was again spotless. Price at this time of year was a great value. I left there well rested ,satisfied and happy with the stay.

Very clean, friendly staff, very nice room, close to other amenities in town. The jacuzzi tub was clean and a very nice addition to the room. I found the bed a little hard for me, but hunny slept great! We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at the Best Western in Sicamous for now say20 years when ever we were through the area never a bad stay so will continue to stay at this hotel .The breakfasts were always the best having more in the menu now then a few years ago that is great news.

My family stayed at the BW in Sicamous this weekend for a quick Mother's Day getaway. The room was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was awesome. Pool and hot tubs were very clean as well. I would recommend this hotel.

We can always count on finding a friendly clean environment, when we decide to stop at the Sicamous Best Western. With their spacious, well decorated rooms it makes for a very enjoyable stay. We always enjoy the swimming pool and spa.

Clean place, comfy beds, great breakfast. Just off the highway but rooms were quiet...Would like to see them use real cups, plates and cutlery instead of producing SO much garbage. I think a big corporation should lead the way instead of adding to the garbage

This hotel used to be so nice, and the staff were great we always stay every May, and will never again. We found rotten food in the fridge. When I called to the front desk she said not much I can do housekeeping had gone home already, and I could just put it in the garbage till the next day. She would not even come, and get it. Told me she was old and could not walk well. Then find a new job. Terrible experience. Our bath towels were so stained, and the bed had not our hair in it. Too bad this place is going down hill maybe best western will make them improve.

I checked TA for hotels as I had no reservation for an unexpected stay in Sicamous. I'm a BW Rewards member so was happy to see that this hotel was an option. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful in making dinner recommendations. He also provided a better rate than my federal government rate due to it being the low season. Room was well appointed and very clean. I'd definitely recommend the place.

The staff at the Best Western Sicamous Inn always make us feel like we're home, with family that likes you. The rooms are spacious and very well kept. It's always clean, the outdoor hot-tub and back patio are favorite areas for us.

Their Front Desk staffed refused our reservation on the premise we will have a cat with us. They let large 80lb dogs stay yet they won't let a 4 lb cat... Nothing against dogs but something tells me the cat would be less messy and much more quieter than a large dog.

The hotel is in a great location, nice and quiet, the price for the room was good, room was clean and large with room to move. They offered a great selection for their free breakfast. Staff was friendly. Only down side was the pool was closed due to maintenance, but understand it has to happen.

To reach our destination for our family spring break, we had to pass through a number of areas and use 3 different hotels. We had problems with the first two with things like their pools weren't open. The reception staffs didn't have that "welcome to our hotel" smile. They were a bit confused and wasn't knowledgeable in checking us in... giving us one room instead of the two that we had booked until we showed them the booking itinerary that they sent us. The key cards had glitches that sometimes would work and sometimes not. But until we ran into Best Western.. we have never been happier in booking any hotel. The rooms were super clean. The Sicamous location that we used was a very convenient location, nice, peaceful, safe area. The breakfast was simple, fresh, much better compared to the other hotels we had previously stopped at. The swimming pools were very clean and warm, good clean changing rooms. Overall It was an Excellent stay, Excellent pricing, Excellent experience. We definitely will continue with Best Western for our future trips.

Best hotel experience I've had in long time. Rooms and facility is top notch. Staff are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Left my day pack in the mountains at are remote club cabin; they tracked it down and had the snowmobile trailer groomer bring it down and drop it off at the hotel; wow!

We got there about 7 PM and Pat was working the front desk what a great employee friendly and caring. More front desks need people like him. The room was large and clean. The only problem was that at 3 AM in the morning the heater stopped working so it got a little cold. They have a very nice hot breakfast included. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. We will stay there again, they did make a small adjustment on our bill. Nice to see they care.

We have stayed at the Best Western Sicamous Inn for the past 3 years in a row. Our stay has always been very pleasant. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly & helpful and the breakfast that is included is fantastic!We will be back next year for our annual sledding trip.

My husband an I booked one night at the BW Sicamous on our way to Calgary this past weekend. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and cozy. Pat at the front desk was kind and cheerful. He gave us tips for a quiet dinner and view at a local restauran/bar. He gave us all the details of the pool/hottub area and where the breakfast bar was and times each was opened until. It was such a good experience we booked again on our return from Calgary. Knowing what to expect when travelling is a plus. We would stay here again, Di & Leon Bergen P.S. The breakfast bar had excellent and multiple choices for any appetite or diet and was like eating in a restaurant. The gal overseeing that area made sure everything was clean, that hot stuff stayed hot and asked how we were enjoying our breakfasts. Really attentive staff =)

The hotel is located on highway easy to find. The room was spacious, clean and pretty brand new. Breakfast was very good with many selections including fresh made waffle. Staff was friendly and helpful. A fast food chain and a restaurant within a couple of minutes walk. I didn't give it a 5 star because it was a lot more expensive than any other hotels in town.

My parents, my husband and I with our 2 small children stayed here over the Thanksgiving long weekend and we had a fabulous stay. It was so comfortable, clean and quiet. The pool is big and warm, the hot tub was clean and hot. The staff was great...very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was definitely the best we've ever had. The options were endless and everything tasted so good. The waffles of course were a huge hit with the kids but it was so nice to have hot eggs and meat as well as yogurts, cereals, fruits, muffins! Really great. We toured around Revelstoke, 3 Valley Gap, Vernon and Salmon Arm. Sicamous Inn was the perfect base for all of our adventures. i would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Fast and uber friendly service, clean rooms (we prefer the 2 story building to the 'motel' type rooms) and the best hotel breakfast with fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins etc.... something for almost everyone. Conveniently located half way between Vancouver and Calgary.

We rented a room here for a stag party prior to hitting the waters in a Twin Ankors houseboat. We got a great room at the very end of the hotel with two bedrooms in it, comfortable beds, typical hotel room but a fairly modern feel. They have a great spot behind the hotel right on the river with reclining chairs and picnic tables, a nice distance from the hotel so noise at night is not an issue. All in all coupled with the houseboat I would really recommend staying here the night before departure. Everything for food in Sicamouse seems to shut down around eleven pm or even earlier so eat before that or pack your own, even the Tim Horton's lights went out around that time. P.S. Make your own waffles for breakfast is always a win.

We are Platinum Member and we always try to stay at a Best Western when it is possible to find a pet friendly facility. This one is above all of the ones we stayed at in BC. Staff is very friendly, made you very welcomed, the room is extremely clean, spacious, well appointed and it is so easy to load and unload the vehicle after a long day of travelling. The breakfast offered is by far among the best we have experienced at a Best Western Hotel. The restaurant Joe Smuck next to the Hotel is perfect and so convenient for a dinner after a long day of driving. food is delicious, service is fast and courteous.

Stayed overnight and hotel was clean and convenient. Inadvertently left a toiletry bag behind. Phoned the night clerk the next day and he very obligingly said he would have it shipped and it arrived a few days later with all contents. Very nice people to deal with.

Warm welcome by staff...power was out so we were provided with flashlights! Lovely spacious and clean room. Great breakfast selection and sitting area. Wonderful pool for us to take our daughter for a swim.

A great place to stay when traveling to or from BC. Hotel is well kept and although a bit dated the rooms are clean and everything works! My only complaint is the hot breakfast is crap, if they are going to advertise hot breakfast they should offer decent items and not just scrambled eggs and the cheapest crap sausage patties available ..

This Best Western Inn was a former independent motel that BW purchased and modernized. After the purchase, a new 2 story building (hotel style) was constructed. The property has plenty of safe and well lit parking...room for motor homes, 5th wheels, skidoo trailers, whatever you are towing. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel and motel sections have no elevators...so those with mobility issues ought to book a main floor/first level room. My following comments are limited to the newer building. We had a room on the second floor facing Tim Hortons and the highway. Tim Hortons is not a major noise distraction, but truck noise (many truckers using their engine brake...coming into Sicamous) was an annoyance throughout the night. If you are registered for a room in the hotel section, consider requesting a room facing away from the highway. Our room was comfortable and clean, great mattress but otherwise nothing outstanding. Good restaurants in Sicamous are difficult to find...restaurant hours are such that late arrivals into town have few options for dinner. Joe's Schmuck's Road House, which is located next to the BW, is perhaps the second best place in town to eat...and it is an interesting eating establishment...kinda like a biker bar with patrons well into their senior years! Sicamous is the centre for house boat rentals in warm months and a skidoo owner's dream location in the winter months. This hotel is a decent stay for both...but not, in my opinion, suitable or a long term stay. Consider Salmon Arm for a long term stay accommodation with a multitude of decent restaurants.

Checked into this hotel during a thunderstorm and was handed a flashlight at checkin! I was trying to use my BW gift cards, but it was difficult for them with no power. No power means no using the pool, no air conditioners work (it was over 30C), and with most of the town out of power too, no food! Of course the room was comfortable and immaculate, and the bed was comfortable!

We booked the stay and play golf package. We were upgraded when we checked in at no additional cost. The room was very nice and clean. The room had the separate tv room as well. The bathroom was very very clean. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed . You get a compliment breakfast the next morning...everything was fresh..... The staff at this location were polite , courteous, and happy.

Sicamous is a very small town, but if you need to stay in the area, this hotel is the place to stay! It's beautiful, well maintained, great staff, and delicious breakfast, with many choices for every taste/diet.

This is a lovely hotel in a very little town in British Columbia. Rooms are beautifully modern and well appointed. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wi-fi is excellent. There is a lovely little restaurant within walking distance. The hotel provides a substantial hot breakfast which includes sausage, eggs, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit as well as the usual hotel breakfast fare. Prices are very reasonable for a popular tourist area. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel if you're looking for the halfway point from calgary to vancouver or vice versa. I stayed with my inlaws and 3 kids. They easily booked us side by side rooms. The kids looooved the pool. its right off the highway but there was no noise in the rooms. i was very impressed with the high speed internet; keurig pods for coffee; breakfast in the morning; cleaniness of the suites and the space in the rooms. This will definitely be my go-to hotel when travelling on highway 1.

We always stay at the Best Western in Sicamous when travelling from Calgary to Vancouver. It's our half way point. We know when we get there there will be a friendly staff member to welcome us and our room is ready. The beds are so comfortable we look forward to a good nights sleep. Breakfast is available and staff is always there to answer any questions on where to locate your favorite items. Another must while in Sicamous is a trip to Dairyland for their out of this world ice cream.

We loved staying at the Best Western in Sicamous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was a hit with our 2 girls. The free breakfast was excellent with lots of choices of breakfast items. I especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs and sausage along with the selection of fresh fruits! I would stay here again for sure!

We stayed here on our way back from Vancouver. What a wonderful spot! The rooms were updated, spacious and very clean. It was on the main drag do close driving distance to everything in Sicamous. The pool was new, clean and a good size. They had two hot tubs. One was inside the pool area and the other one was outside on the deck in front of the fireplace. They slso had a trunk with ball and pool noodles to use. The hot breakfast was delicious and hot. It had your regular breakfast items cereal, bagels, muffins and waffles. It also had sausages and eggs that were cooked perfectly and hot. There are also outside seating areas for beakfast that are outside in the garden. These tables have umbrellas for shade. It is reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful. There is an upper level and a lower level and I do not recall seeing an elevator so if you have mobility issues make sure your room is on the ground floor. I would definitely stay here again! No complaints!

In town for BTWL Softball Camp. This is a great location just off the highway close to everything. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Super nice and helpful staff. Great A/C! Have already booked for next year!

This is one of the best hotels of this class we have stayed at. Large spacious rooms great free breakfast, plenty of parking and a huge dog area plus amenities for their patrons. Excellent location with easy access to reastraunts and gas stations as well as a Tim Hortons outside your door. Excellent

Very easy to get to off the highway. Our room was very clean, checked in with Pat he was great so helpful. Breakfast in the morning was wow so much to choose from, and great people so friendly. However we did end up with an issue, and taking this issue to front desk seemed to cause a bigger issue, was not at all impressed with Eileen said she was the manager, but I hope not as she has no customer service skills, and still never addressed our problem. I would like to speak to someone further to her. Otherwise hotel was great. They have this back yard that is along the river the views are great.

Conveniently located from travel route, easy to find . Attractively landscaped, and the best was the hot tub! The noise transfer between rooms was non- existant so this enabled a very restful night. It is always a pleasure to have a delicious variety of foods at breakfast: the Best Western Sicamous Inn was fantastic.

Never stayed at this Inn before but would definitely stay here again. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the grounds around the Inn are awesome. The breakfast was wonderful and well supplied. The price is a bit on the high side but it is the summer tourist vacation season.

We've stayed here before and we were impressed again. This place is so well maintained and very, very clean. Beds were great, lots of towels and generous toiletries (even mouthwash). The breakfast is good and they had fresh local fruit included. Wish we could stay longer here but we are always rushing through.

Rooms were very clean. We had a few issues while staying here including our air conditioner was unplugged. With it being +33 outside that was a big concern but once we plugged the unit in it worked great. Also the beds were very worn out. We had a queen bed and we both kept sliding towards the middle of the bed and we both woke with back aches. The building we were in was very noisy. We kept hearing people talking and finally discovered that they were 6 rooms away. People were leaving starting at 5:30am and we could hear everything. The breakfast was your standard BW breakfast. Not a very restful stay for $180!

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. In spite of being located adjacent to the TransCanada highway, the rooms are extremely quiet. The property itself seems very well managed and maintained. Front desk staff are welcoming and helpful. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean.

we found the BW in Sicamous to be a great rest in the middle of a long road trip. The room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. The local fruit at breakfast was nice addition.

We had to make an unexpected pit stop for the night here. This place is so well looked after and clean we couldn't believe it. Great value and brekky and right next to a great restaurant/ cafe. We walked to the nearby gin distillery and all in all a great break straight off the highway yet really quiet.

Stayed here for one night and highly recommend it. It is clean, nicely decorated and great beds! The breakfast was really good and the staff amazing! Very friendly and welcoming! Would stay here again!!!

Road trip on short notice. No time to find a dog sitter so our Bassett came along. This hotel was a great find, we stayed one night of each leg of the journey. Nice grounds to exercise the dog on. Very clean and quiet rooms, with good sized fridges and microwaves. A number of eating options, including Tim Hortons, A & W and smaller private establishments plus the downtown with a grocery store, cold wine and beer store open late less than 5 minutes away. The on site breakfast is good and if you are in a hurry, they have 'grab & go' bags with water and energy bars available on check out.

Nice and clean hotel - right off the highway. 2 Km walk to the town. Best eats are along the river. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was very good and staff gave great service. Rooms clean and spacious. Get their rewards card and get better rates.

This is a walk up style hotel. Our spacious room was very clean and thought was put in to providing for the traveler's every need. The outdoor hot tub was perfect at the end of our day and was open until 11:00 pm. The hot breakfast was extensive and served in an inviting location. A very pleasant stay in Sicamous.

An excellent place to stay, couldn't be better. flawless rooms, excellent parking, excellent breakfast and the best staff ever. It was a joy to stay there. I was amazed at the condition of how this place is maintained and kept. There are hospitals not as nice as this place. First stay there ever, and will certainly be back.

We loved our short stay at this beautiful place - it far exceeded what we were expecting. Although it is near the highway, our room faced the busy road, and it was still very quiet - kudos to whoever built and designed those windows. But now we're not surprised, because everything is well done here. Check out the spacious lawns and grounds beyond the breakfast area! We also loved the pool! It was 2.4 m's (8 ft?) deep in the deep end, but it was so much brighter than the web photos suggest, and the air was wonderful there, because the windows opened nicely. Our parlour suite was the best! The sofa was also so much more comfy that the photos imply. We thought breakfast might be a problem, given how many people were staying here, but no, things were very well handled, and we had a very good breakfast too. The ladies in the breakfast area kept everything nice and full, and were so friendly, just like all the staff here. If you ever need to stay in the vicinity, don't miss the BW gem!

We stayed here one night and I wish we were staying longer. Excellent spacious accommodation, which was spotless, friendly and helpful staff and great facilities. We enjoyed a good breakfast this morning which was complimentary. I commend BW on focusing on the important things, unlike other chains which have impressive reception areas and disappointing rooms.

This is the only place we will stay when we are on our way from Calgary to the Okanagan or just need a weekend away. The staff can't be beat, they are extremely professional, friendly, courteous and accommodating. The property is kept extremely clean and the rooms are spacious and the back river patio is so relaxing..

Everything was extremely clean, the staff were very friendly and the pool was one of the cleanest I have used.We used the hide-a-bed and folded it up in the morning to use the sofa and when we came back to the room, the cleaning staff had opened it, made the bed and folded it back up. Made us feel the room was extremely clean

If you want a clean, comfortable, friendly staff experience - stay here. Their breakfast room is well laid out and includes gluten-free options. The accommodations are exemplary. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Best Western Sicamous is absolutely the Best of the franchise. The customer service exceptional in all areas!!! Rooms are so so clean plus comfortable beds. We go out of our way to stay here. NEVER an issue and we stay several times throughout the year.

We stayed here for one night on our drive from Banff to Vancouver and were so comfortable that we wanted to stay longer. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, and there was so much choice, from waffles, eggs, cereal, and so much more. We need to plan another road trip just so as we can stay here again.

My family stayed here on a stop over to the interior. We were so delighted with the very clean amenities. The room is a basic room, but very well kept. The pool and hot tubs are very clean, including a very clean change room area. Breakfast was included and great. Customer service was fantastic. No complaints.

This is a fabulous place. Rooms are always immaculate. Staff are friendly & thoroughly professional. Breakfast buffet is first rate & breakfast personnel go above & beyond. Sicamous is a bit out of the way, but we always travel there on the way home to enjoy this hotel.

Stayed one night. Check in was friendly and efficient. Room was a great size, quiet and very comfortable. We appreciated the fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the room and would definitely take advantage of this hotel again when passing through this area

Very clean and comfortable room and staff were super friendly. Highly recommend. Great location and awesome folks. They are a great choice when you are traveling with your dog. Nice little play area for the dog and greeted with treats and dog bathroom sacs for easy clean up!

The excellent experience began when I booked the room as the front desk staff was so helpful in getting us the room we wanted. All staff at this hotel are friendly, caring and helpful. The front desk staff were accommodating when I requested early check in for our 3 day stay. The king room was lovely, well appointed and squeaky clean. The pool and hot tub areas are fabulous and I love the lookout over the river, so peaceful.

We come out here every two weeks during the winter for snow mobiling always great service staff are amazing heard hotel was under new ownership and the new manager took the time to introduce himself and thank us for staying that really impressed me this will always be our place to stay. This is absolutely the BEST OF all Best Westerns we have stayed at!!! From check-in to the very clean room, up to date and very comfortable, best sleeps are had at this particular motel. ALL staff are incredibly pleasant, helpful and expedient in all aspects. Breakfast certainly by far one of the most stocked in house breakfasts we have experienced plus we have ALWAYS had the most wonderful breakfast attendants greet us early morning. I can't say enough good things about this lovely hotel. We have been staying here for years on our way to the coast from Calgary and this hotel honestly always seems like a brand new hotel. We stayed there a couple of weeks ago, not having been in a few years, and it was like the hotel was still brand new. The place is absolutely spotless, from the room to the breakfast area to the pool area, and kept up beautifully. It is always such a pleasure to stay here.

Lovely room, great location, and breakfast included! The staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very varied and the do-it-yourself waffles really delicious. The pool and hot tub were a pleasure to use. Laundry facilities available for long term stays.

On your way to Vancouver or need a place to rest after skiing, snowmobiling or just enjoying the Shuswap, this is a must stay for individuals, couples or families. We've done all three. Our latest stay was in room 216 and the king room felt like you'd stepped into a cozy bedroom. The lighting, the artwork - amazing eagle - and the leather chair and foot stool made it feel like home. The new towels and plush robes also made our stay so comfy. The new chairs and tables in the breakfast area are lovely and you will never be disappointed with the helpful and very cheery staff! There's usually something local added to the breakfast buffet in the summer. We've also stayed in a two bedroom unit and deluxe suite. All rooms are great!

This established Best Western is modest but super clean and updated really nice, probably in excess of BW's recent upgrade program. Exceptionally friendly staff with tips on local eats and drinks (..... Just take a shortcut through those trees and a quick walk to the great Joe's restaurant!). Great breakfast layout included. Pool looked clean and looked well used by guests but I did not try it. Good combo of families and snowmobiles Leith easy access for trailer parking. I'll be staying every trip through!

We stopped here due to a snowstorm that later shut down the highway. From the second we arrived we were treated so well. We got a pet friendly room...they gave us poop bags and treats and dog towels. Our room was next to the dog walking area. Our room was clean and all we needed. We left early the next day but grabbed some muffins and yoghurt from breakfast area.

From the moment we checked in to when we checked out this hotel was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our 10 days vacation. The lady at the front desk was very friendly upon checkin, the room was very clean, breakfast was great and checkout was a breeze. The original plan was to stay in Revelstoke but hotels are way over priced..... Do yourself a favour and drive just down the road to stay in a hotel that is by far the best value for money.

We have stayed at many BW properties and all have been very good, the difference with this property was the excellent customer service and feeling so welcomed. We love this location. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable, which lends to a very good sleep and stay. When in season, the breakfast includes fresh fruits from nearby. We are very satisfied with this location and it is a must when planning your trip either east or westward. You will not be disappointed. Check it out.

Right across the Hwy from D Dutchman Dairy's ice cream, this small but friendly hotel is a welcome stop on the BC to AB run. Staff are very nice & accommodating, rooms were clean & quiet; and a full, hot breakfast make for a lovely stopover

We were caught in a December snowstorm, and the road was closed by an accident. Found BW in Sicamous, and it was a good find. Clean and friendly, reasonable price. Breakfast could have been better. The eggs were not that great. Lots to eat though, and the raisin bran cereal was good.

I had a great stay at the Best Western in Sicamous. I am so happy that I was able to get space during the hockey tournament this December. The staff at front desk and morning breakfast was friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub was clean and was a great way to end the day after being in the ice rink! Would highly recommend this hotel for solo or family stay.

Showed up at near 1 am during awful blizzard and couldn't drive anymore on the treacherous roads - luckily there was one room available and it was extremely clean and comfortable and warm -Super friendly staff upon check and out - extremely impressed to be honest-Have never stayed here before

Over the past 20 years I have traveled extensively throughout British Columbia and Globally. Dollar for dollar the Sicamous Best Western has provided me with the Best Value. Without question, I would recommend the Sicamous Best Western to any of my friends.

I have stayed at BW hotels across Canada and this was by far the best. Staff is willing to help with anything. Everyone was friendly. Room was clean, beds extremity comfortable. Amenities were close. I would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Best Western was pleasant. Immediately after we checked in there was a crib in our room for our child. The swimming pool was clean, We had our own private pool and hot tub as no one else used it that day. We've stayed here before and will stay there again. Thanks Best Western Sicamous

Awesome property, and staff to match. Tucked away from the busy Hwy 1 corridor this facility will far exceed your expectations. Not a 100% sure but from the surface appears to be a very well run family business, where "Surprise Surprise" you are at the heart of all they do. This establishment could actually be listed under the bed and breakfast group as they make you aware that this is all done for you. Do I seem to be over the top with my praise...... well stay and find out for yourself.

I have expresses my opinion on my visit in the replies to this survey, however I can reiterate that I will always choose a BW if it fits into my travel needs. A recent visit to Paris at a BW was wonderful and more than met expectations. Rooms are clean, well kept and provide good value.

Our stay was just super. All the staff were some off the best we have come across (a big thanks to Mathew ,pat and kevin ) The rooms are large ,clean and comfortable. as for pet friendly they sure are .There is a area for the pet to do their business as well as a area to walk them safe from traffic The breakfast was great . we will be staying there again

We were on a road trip, so we needed a hotel for one night. The BW Sicamous had been recommended by a friend who stayed there last year. The hotel room was super clean, comfortable, had great shower pressure and amenities. The included hot breakfast was the best we had on the entire trip. The front desk staff recommended dinner at a nearby pub (Joe Schmucks Roadhouse) which was an excellent dinner for a very reasonable price. We plan to stop here whenever we travel this way in future.

I was pleasantly surprised at my stay at BW Sicamous. The suite was large and very clean. Staff was over the top friendly and helpful. One of the best hotel stays I've had. Will definitely be staying there again.

Best Western in Sicamous is clean, quaint, roomy, with great staff and we highly recommend it! The breakfast was really great with fresh BC fruit. The breakfast room also doubled as a games room with a cupboard of games to choose from. Location is great as well.

Like all Best westerns, this is a good quiet hotel. TV, fridge, microwave, sink, writing desk, etc. We only stayed for one night whilst touring the Rockies through to Vancouver island. Room was $157.62 breakfast included

What a great place to stay with pets!! Very friendly and helpful. One night stop over while traveling!! Safe place for dogs to do their business and poop bags right in the area. A roll of bags provided at check in as well as milk bone treats. Room clean and comfortable.

Whenever we do an Okanagan trip, the only absolute is that we use the Sicamous Best Western as the jumping off point. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are excellent, and the staff is always outstanding.

Best hot breakfast. Amazing staff and comfy beds. Quick service! The hotel is clean and the showers have good pressure and hot hot water. There is plenty of parking if your travelling with a trailer. Definately kid friendly and no smoking in or around the building.

We overnighted here on our way home form Calgary. Everyone that works here is so friendly and very attentive. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety and the accommodations were very nice...we were in the newer building. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

BW Sicamous was a great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a great suggestion for a nearby restaurant, even calling to see if it would stay open for us. The beds were comfy and piled with good pillows that added to the relaxation we needed after a long drive.

This is a quality inn at which to stay. If you have accessibility issues, make sure you request a room on the main level. Rooms on the second level are accessible only by stairs. The breakfast was excellent - lots to choose and quality items.

This is the only place we will stay in Sicamous. Friendly and professional stay. Great accommodations, great location, friendly people. Fantastic summer vacation spot! I recommend staying at the Best Western Sicamous!

We did a one-night stopover between Vancouver and Banff, and enjoyed the friendly, helpful locals at the BW Sicamous. We had a Family Suite, which was just one regular motel type room, with a second bedroom attached. Perfectly adequate for a party of 4. The only criticism we had was hard pillows. The helpful guy on the front desk recommended the Joe Schmucks Diner next door, and despite the name, and the "country" decor the food was excellent! Breakfast at the Best Western Sicamous was the usual North American idea of breakfast. Plentiful, bland, tasteless ... but with lots of packaging.

Extremely personable, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Clean and well decorated room. Excellent complimentary breakfast manned by accommodating and efficient staff. One small issue in room dealt with immediately. Lovely outdoor sitting area overlooking the river. Hot tubs, one in and one outside , and pool area all so clean and well maintained. We will stay here again when visiting in the area.

Very pleased with our room. Clean and well decorated. Beds and pillows were really comfortable. The hotel and property are well maintained with a pretty park area behind the building and ample parking. The front desk was very professional making checking in and out a breeze. Almost hated to leave, but will definitely be back when the opportunity presents itself. Five stars for the Best Western Inn Sicamous.

Awesome staff, Very friendly, very clean comfortable rooms, great place for dogs with lots of green space and an off leash dog park close by. we stayed at 5 other hotels this trip and this was by far the best for a good night sleep and dog friendly. Also come with a complementary breakfast with make your own waffles. Young man at the front desk ( i think his name was Khil) was very kind and helpful giving us lots of good info of where to go

This hotel has beautiful grounds, a laundry room which is immaculate and helpful, friendly staff. We will absolutely stay here again if in the area. Breakfast was a treat and the fresh peaches were the best I have had in many years and best our Ontario peaches hands down!

Very nice facility with clean/well maintained up to date rooms. Location is just off the highway but still quiet and pleasant. The staff all seem to be friendly and happy to help. The pool and breakfast (included) areas area really pretty with nice landscaping and quiet. For the price, it is a great place to stay.

I originally was going to give this hotel a very good review. This was a business trip and we were supposed to get a certain price. Upon review of the credit card statements though they charges us way to much and when calling them back several times, they insisted that this was what they had always told us. When we booked this hotel, we made sure that the price was correct and that they wouldn't charge us more, but they went ahead and did anyways and then pretty much lied about what they originally said. When going on business trips everything is supposed to be easy and smooth, especially when having contracts with hotels. Dealing with this was quite the pain. Therefore I can not give this more stars although the hotel itself was quite nice.

The location and hotel service and standards are like you would expect from every Best Western. They still include an excellent hot breakfast with local fruit at no extra charge. . Unlike many Best Western's they provide the good old fashioned complete package and we and family always make this a stop on our journey through B.C.

Great hotel, always enjoy staying here, but on my last trip I was running very late. Got checked in and decided to run over to the Tim Horton's to get something to eat. It was 10:01 when I pulled up to the drive thru. All I wanted was a sandwich and muffin, but I guess closed means closed. Finally was able to get a day old sandwich from the Husky Truck Stop, Short story if your staying in Sicamous get there before 10 PM.

Room was very clean and spacious. Separate tub/toilet with a great area that has a sink and makeup area. Indoor pool & outdoor hot tub was fabulous after a long day of driving, didn't use the indoor hot tub. The front counter staff were fabulous helping with my questions & recommendations. I recommend venturing out to the rear of the property to sit on the chairs to relax along the river, so nice & quiet. They do have a simple breakfast, self serve, like make your own waffles which was good enough for me. Liked that they had an ice machine to top up my cooler. Ground level floors, easier access to load & unload. Farther away from the front desk seemed quieter. Book in advance as I paid a higher price for last minute.

Another perfect stay at this hotel. The hotel staff are always friendly, the rooms very clean and comfortable. I have never been disappointed here; the staff really cares and it shows. I drive a little further when on business trips just to stay here.

We stayed in a pet friendly room with two queen beds, sitting area with couch, and mini fridge. The bed and bedding were super comfy. The room was good although you could tell it used to be a smoking room back in the day. They tried to cover up the smell with carpet powder perhaps. If you have allergies make sure to ask for a room that has never been smoked in. The complimentary breakfast ended a little early at 9:30am. The hotel had a pool but we didn't use it. I would stay here again passing through Sicamous.

This Best Western is in a great location, right along Highway 1, yet it was very quiet. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, dont have a bad thing to say about this hotel at all. It was everything we needed and more.

Clean friendly room worked out well with 3 double beds. Very straight forward room. New and clean right next to highway. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy but great value and very comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone. Staff very professional

Loved the pool and hot tub very clean .. The bed was super comfy.. very quiet at night and tim Horton 's right behind it .. they also have an awesome breakfast best one yet at a hotel I've ever had .. good job staff!!

We enjoy staying at this Best Western. It's in a smaller community so the rates are a bit more affordable. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy. There's an indoor swimming pool and hot pool and a petty good complimentary breakfast. It is just two floors so there is no elevator but that's okay for us. A Tim Horton's is adjacent to it if you don't want to have dinner at one of the local restaurants in Sicamous.

All Staff were extremely helpful and very nice. Makes a difference when you get a good morning or hi when a staff member passes. It was a nice setting with a inside pool and a place to eat outside if we wanted

I was most impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel, from the well-maintained rooms to the breakfast area and most notably the pool and hot tub area. The cleaning staff should be commended as my past experiences with hotel pools has proven disappointing. There was absolutely zero "ick" factor, no hair or dirt on the pool side and the hot tub was clean and clear. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety (and fresh BC fruit!) and what a treat to make our own waffles! The rooms were clean and the beds/pillows extremely cozy. Our thanks to this hotel for the two nights straddling our houseboat vacation and again, a special thank you to the competent and committed cleaning staff for a job well done. We'll stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone travelling to or thru Sicamous.

fantastic place to stop if you are splitting up you drive from Calgary to Vancouver. The place is clean and the staff incredibly helpful, highly recommend. Breakfast included which is a plus! Excellent Fruit Market close by which is great when in season.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean and quiet. Conveniently located on trans Canada highway. Pool and hot tub, laundry facility, free wifi and a breakfast room. Good place to stop if you're passing through the area.

The people who works in this hotel is really amazing. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had many choices. The pool was really good especially for my kids they had a fun experience.

This Best Western Hotel had an extremely caring set of staff who went out of their way to manage my extreme cinnamon allergy where I need Epipens if it is not managed properly. They washed out the waffle maker and utensils ensuring no odour or any contact with cinnamon was left before making me fresh waffles - thank you Maureen and Eric for understanding my needs.

Convenient off highway with good services around it. 5 minutes to mail tourist and restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub with perfect breakfast provided. Reception area and staff were first class. Prime summer season so a little pricey, but so was every one else in the city. Parking and access were very good. Next door to Tim's to get the road coffee easily. Great driving experience through that area. Wonderful water experience and scenery.

Fantastic service, staff, room, amenities. A must stay to explore this wonderful area in Canada's pristine Rockies! Visit Joe Schmucks Roadhouse beside the BW for ribs - fabulous! Lots to do in this area - boating, fishing, sight seeing or just relaxing in one of the two hot tubs at BW - you chose one is outside with loungers and a fireplace and the other is inside along with the pool.

We stayed here with my daughter and her children in August. We found this property to be a gem. The rooms were awesome. The pool was great as were the hot tubs, especially the hot tub outside. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh picked local fruit. The check-in and cleaning staff were great as well. We would highly recommend staying here.

It was in the middle of the summer and at the last minute we needed the room for an extra night. These people are very welcoming and friendly. Their breakfast surpass other breakfasts at other hotels/motels. The housekeeping is exceptional. You won't be disappointed.

We were on a motorcycle trip from Seattle through Western Canada, and stopped on our return route. This Best Western offered us a good competitive rate, and we were delighted to arrive and find a friendly welcome, a tidy, clean room, nice pool, laundry room - and good quality wifi. Easy short walk to fun bars and restaurants - this was a great stop for us.

We arrived around 9pm after driving all day. Everything was good except that as with all motels, parking is first come first serve so we had to haul all our stuff across the parking lot to our room - but this is just how things go. The nice young man at the front desk loaned me a kettle. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, spacious, had lots of towels, a little fridge, keurig, hairdryer, desk, TV, AC, free Wifi, ice machine was just down the hall. Our breakfast was included in our room price and held in a little room just off to the side of the Office. Great little breakfast: juice, coffee, waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, cream cheese, cold cereal, hot chocolate, yogurt - really a great brky especially for people travelling with children. Everything about this Motel was good. I would definitely stay here again. My only comment is that it would be REALLY convenient if they could have a few luggage carts available for guests to more easily transport luggage to their rooms.

We were travelling through on our way to and from Vancouver. Sicamous makes a nice location to make an evening stop. The Best Western Sicmaous Inn does not disappoint. The staff are professional, courteous and friendly, a nice combination. The rooms were great and quiet. And the breakfast was super. If you should be so lucky, as were were, to travel when local fruit is in season, they supply some of the best. Fresh peaches, apricots and blue berries. Excellent value for the money.

I was most impressed with the service. The ladies in the breakfast room were most efficient and friendly AND the breakfast was second to none Fresh fruit and ample selection. The coffee was pretty great too.

I stayed in a very clean, comfortable and stylish room at the Best Western + Sicamous. My first time in Sicamous and I will definitely return. The staff was friendly and efficient and my room was one of the best I stayed in during a 3 week road trip.

Very friendly help staff that are genuinely caring about your comfort. Great breakfast with an outside patio with loads of fresh seasonal fruit as well as many other breakfast goodies. Next to Highway but it is not a problem,

We spent one night here. Check-in was easy, room was clean, spacious and quiet. It is a short drive to the beach and restaurants. We used the outdoor hot tub which was a great and located in a nice little patio area.

We had one night here on our way from Vancouver to Jasper. The hotel is just off he main highway but is well sound proofed. We had a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed which was ideal for us. The room was spacious but did smell a bit fusty. We went swimming in the nearby lake and then in the hotel's pool which was a very good size with hot tubs as well. The beds were comfy and we had a good sized fridge. The breakfast was very good with fresh blueberries and apricots. The staff were very friendly.

We (I, my wife and my daughter) got a huge room with two bedrooms and three large beds. The hotel is very clean and has a good indoor swimming pool and two jacuzzis. The staff is courteous and breakfast is pretty good. The hotel also has a small laundromat, which is quite convenient (although it has only one washer and one dryer). I recommend it.

Great service. Nice rooms, very clean. Breakfast was awesome, great variety and clean. Great outdoor area for our grown adult kids to play games and hang out. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

We enjoyed the stay, brought our dog as well. Good hot breakfast with lots of choices. Good location, nice pool and hot tubs. Staff is great and very helpful.Hotel is right next door to Tim Hortons, and great access to the hyway. Lots of parking if you have a large vehicle. I would recommend as we have stayed three times and enjoyed staying there each time.

Needed a place to sleep on our way back to Vancouver from Banff. Arrived after 10:30 pm and were disappointed there was nowhere to eat and we were starving. Front desk staff sent us to a place in town that was open but kitchen was closed, had to settle for the Husky gas station :( Perhaps we should have been informed there is no cafeteria or restaurant in the hotel and nowhere to eat in that town after a certain time!

Very clean, cute and comfortable. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful including a riverside patio where we had a lovely picnic. There was a good selection for breakfast and the patio they have makes it feel like you are dining as a guest in someone's home. Rooms are set up with everything you need and are very clean. Can't say enough good things about this hotel and would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for two nights. We had a room with two queen beds. It was facing the parking lot and was, therefore, very quiet. The hotel is conveniently located right by the highway but not too far from downtown. The breakfast had a good amount of choices with waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, coffee, cereal, and more. The staff was friendly and everything was very clean.

Friendly, courteous, helpful staff. This is the best BEST WESTERN we have ever stayed in. The room was very clean. Great indoor pool and two hot tubs. Good selection of food for breakfast. Breakfast room is bright and cheery. Will definitely stay in this hotel next time we visit Sicamous!

Good motel. Friendly staff, clean, and mostly up-to-date. Location next to busy highway with lots of truck traffic is a problem if you are a light sleeper. This motel is also used by train crews who sometimes arrive very late during the night.

This was my second time staying here. I would gladly stay again. The staff were all great, the rooms are clean and roomy. The building is well maintained and there is a nice quiet deck overlooking the river behind the building. One of the best hotel breakfasts going.

My daughters and I felt safe and pampered at The Best Western in Sicamous! An absolutely enjoyable tourist destination:) And our little dog too...7 month old mini-schnauser gives the facility a 5 "paw" thumbs up! Truly a wonderful, clean family friendly environment! Thank You:)

We needed a place to stop on a road trip and had booked this ahead of time through air miles. I would stay there again anytime. It's a motel style, 2 floors. If you haul in a lot of stuff (like I do) request the lower level -- you can park right at your door. It's a little noisy in the morning with people leaving, so if you like to sleep, go for the upper level. The grounds are well maintained - lots of attention to detail. Places to sit and enjoy the weather; even a little patio behind the building overlooking the river. Large breakfast room, usual items.

We stayed in this motel for the second time . Last year we were very impressed with the place overall that we booked it again this year. It is very clean with friendly staff and clos e to pretty well every thing in Sicamous.

Nothing great, on the expensive side for what you get. Should have an outdoor pool. Next time I'll stay at a B&B, will be less expensive and better food. I expected more for a Best Western, and the price they were charging....

Pricey due to the season but room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location is great being right next to a roadhouse with good food and a Tim Hortons. My motorcycle was secure and I had no reservations on parking. Sicamous is a nice little town.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, really good breakfast; would stay again. Pool was refreshing. Family room size is more than comfortable. Location was perfect. Try the sausages-they don't look as good as they are tasty.

A lovely place to stay to break up traveling to or from the west coast. Welcoming ambiance with comfortable beds and a great breakfast to start the day. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Our short break there was very restful. Will certainly stay there again when we travel to the coast!

The management and staff have always made us feel right at home every time we stay here. Sicamous is a convenient 5 hour drive and a great place to stop for us on our way to pick up wine in the south Okanagan. The rooms are spacious, clean and the hot tub, pool, river patio and green space out back are great places to relax.

This Best Western Hotel is conveniently-located near the highway in Sicamous, B.C., easy to find, offers a clean lobby, large, clean rooms well-equipped with all amenities required by a traveler. The breakfast room is large, pleasant and offers a good breakfast selection. All hotel staff were polite, helpful and friendly. It's an easy walk from the hotel to the beach & houseboat launching pier. Price, for a solo traveler, was a bit more than I usually spend for one night in a hotel.

Expensive property. The room is comfortable enough for two queens, but very tight with the pullout sofa. There isn't any space in between the sofa bed and one of the queens. The mattress on the sofa was terrible - akin to an old motel. The other beds were fine. The bathroom is great - spacious, lots of top notch amenities, shower hooks and very clean. However the room is right beside a set of outside stairs so we could hear patrons treading up and down. The newly rennovated pool is lovely although quite cold. Grounds are meticulously maintained. Breakfast had a solid variety with excellent little pastries. The lady who runs it works very hard to keep customers happy. I can't quite say this for the front staff. I was treated badly at check-in (I as told in front of other customers and my family that I overpaid for the room through Booking.com) which unfortunately influenced my overall experience. I don't know if I will return.

If you are travelling from Alberta into the Okanagan then Sicamous is about 5 hours from Calgary we had booked here as a stop-over point before continuing our journey - and what a delight! The staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly and although breakfast is just the usual buffet - it's all freshly prepared and the ladies serving are just a hoot! Well done to all the guys here! definitely our go to stop off point on the way through.

I always enjoy staying at this Best Western when I'm driving between Vancouver and Calgary. The location is ideal, right off the highway, and yet it is so quiet once you're at the hotel. They have lovely landscaping here that makes you feel that you're in a lovely park-like setting, with a beautiful deck overlooking the river and pretty gardens. The pool is large, enough to get some good swimming exercise, and the 2 hot tubs are a bonus. Nice after a long day of driving! Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms clean and updated. I will definitely stay here again!

halfway stop for us on our return trip home between Vancouver & Calgary ... easy access off Highway 1 in Sicamous ... nice rooms available for our little fur babies ... large area around hotel grounds to take the puppies out for their walks ... good breakfast ... friendly staff ... would highly recommend!!! We stayed in this Best Western after a long & beautiful drive through the Rockies on our way home to Victoria. We received the best and most welcoming greeting on check in. The room was quiet, clean and so so comfortable. By far the best hotel we have stayed in for a very long time. Thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are ever in Sicamous. You will love it.

Wonderful stay in Sicamous - Best Western Sicamous hotel is very conveniently located, close to amenities including great little restaurant (Joe Schmuck's Roadhouse). Very clean comfortable room, pleasant staff and convenient area for pets. Overall, just a very nice place to stay.

After a long tiring drive through the mountains, all I wanted was a bed. we got to Sicamous only to find there were no value priced rooms left so we had to take a king room but with our discount it was still reasonable. Well, were we surprised to have the best of everything. Quiet, most comfortable bed ever, nicely decorated and up to date room, everything we needed and then some. This was only followed by the best full breakfast we have ever had complete with fresh fruit, muffins, waffles, bacon, eggs, AND sausage. The staff also added to the great experience as front desk staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast crew continued this with pleasant conversation, tips about where we headed and even current road conditions etc. I would not hesitate to stay here again when I am through next

Would stay there again - usually always stay in a Best Western when on a driving holiday. We are never surprised as they are mostly always the same. Breakfast is usually the same - would like to have a paper in the breakfast room.

The Best Western at Sicamous is a jewel in the crown if you are traveling between Calgary and Vancouver. Excellent staff, hotel amenities and awesome rooms. The suites are excellent value for money and all in all in all this is just a great place to stop

Definitely one of my favorite BW Hotels. Consistently good quality of product and service. I travel through this area several times per year and make an effort to always make it to BW Sicamous. Comfortable rooms and the best staff.

Pride is taken by all who work here, every employee was exceptional, room was very clean, breakfast was good, front desk was very helpful. Grounds are very nice. Check in and out was quick, staff gave us a tour of the pool, where to find ice machine and soda pop as well as the location of the breakfast room.n stayed in 2 bedroom suite with a pull out couch and we were 4 travellers, had plenty of room and bathroom was large. Wifi was a little slow

We stopped here for a night on our travels through British Columbia. It's a comfortable, clean hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast was nice, with a decent variety and staff were friendly. It's situated on the highway so is also easy to find. It was exactly what we needed for the night we were there.

Everything was awesome!! The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was delicious! We are moving to Sicamous and the friendliness of the staff makes us glad we are.

Great place to stay. Wish we had longer to take in the beautiful surroundings but we do try to at least spend one night there on our visits to family in Alberta. Thanks to Best Western membership, great hotel was free with loyalty points. It pays to become a member!

Like many visitors, we were travelling between Vancouver and the Rockies and after leaving Banff I had been aiming for Salmon Arm, but Im so l pleased we chose Sicamous instead. We had time to relax by the lovely clean swimming pool and hot tub and in the morning the patio area next to the river was very inviting.

Check in was quick and efficient; atmosphere of other customers staying in the hotel were delightful and pleasant; employees were welcoming, informative, and smiled (genuinely); pool was surprisingly nice, especially the outdoor feature; rooms were clean, and room service was prompt and timely; overall a great stay, would definitely stay again.

This hotel is a gem in the Shuswap! The staff are incredibly helpful on all levels with a joy for serving in their job. The rooms are beautiful and we've never had a problem here. The breakfast usually includes something extra special - especially in the summer with fresh fruit from the area. One of our favorites!

Motel was clean staff very friendly. One of the cleanest best maintained motels we have stayed in. They have both rooms with inside doors and outside doors. I always prefer the rooms with outside doors.

Clean rooms, helpful staff, and a great pool are three of the reasons to stay here. There is a beautiful back grass area perfect for a pic-nic or to throw around a ball. Backs on to a river that was fun for the kids to watch. A very enjoyable stay.

This hotel is great not because it is luxury beyond belief but has an amazing staff is reasonably priced and clean. This hotel has a staff that care and understand service. It has a pool hot tub and is a 1.5 minute walk to Tim Hortons. Sicamous is a small quiet spot on the Shuswap and Mara lake. Where you are staying in town for a few days or passing through it is the right place to stop.

Rooms are clean comfortable and have good services..,microwave, midsize fridge, coffee machine. New quiet air conditioning. Wide selection of television channels. Robes to get to and from public pool and spa.

Lovely front desk people. Very friendly and pay attention to details. Breakfast staff is very kind and very willing to answer questions and give direction to travellers as they move on in their travels.

We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our son being wedded to a Salmon Arm lady - and it was the best place! The staff were incredibly helpful, courteous and appeared to really enjoy working there! While we were there, there were mudslides, road washouts, power outages, and torrential downpours of rain that closed all the routes out of Sicamous. Despite the horrendously chaotic conditions on the road, the staff were calm and very attentive to our needs! They kept us updated on weather and road conditions! The rooms were spotless, modern, spacious, and very comfortable, while the breakfast was amazing - each day some different foods were offered hot (or cold), with plenty to go around! The little town is surround by beautiful lakes, mountains and parks. There is a gorgeous golf course, and plenty of water sports in the summer and sledding in the winter. The owners of this hotel are hands on people who care about the service they provide. They are friendly and very professional! I would highly recommend this stop to anyone travelling in the area!

We stopped here on a road trip to Vancouver. Newer hotel right off highway. Very clean, nice room with good amenities. Breakfast is included and the offerings were varied. Something for everyone. The breakfast room was bright and spacious and has some outdoor seating as well. Thanks to Maureen for suggesting we try our hand at a freshly made waffle, it was delicious, and she was delightful. Limited food options in area after 8 pm, but it was before the May long weekend. There may be more options during peak season. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Amazing King bed, very comfortable and clean. Delicious breakfast, and coffee in the rooms. Large TV, and fast wifi. Friendly and helpful staff. Next time I'm in Sicamous I would definitely stay here again!

We cannot fault this hotel at all. It is spotlessly clean with great amenities and I would have thought it was brand new but was told it was built 10 years ago! Hooray to all the staff and to housekeeping for a great job. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. Just one thing though, tripadvisor states it has an excersize room, but unfortunately it doesnt. But that was seriously the only thing. The most comfortable bed I have slept in on this 3 week trip.

The very BEST Best Western in Western Canada/USA. We travel BW with dogs and this property is fantastic! Staff are extremely courteous and professional ; always eager to ensure a great stay. Rooms are nicely appointed and we enjoy the swimming pool/hot tubs. The green space surrounding the hotel is exceptional. The breakfast buffet room is very comfortable with nice outside seating; breakfast items are fresh and well stocked. We highly recommend this GEM of a hotel!

Very clean hotel with the most friendly and caring staff imaginable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast was excellent as well, and if you need a stronger coffee, there is a Tim Hortons right beside the hotel. There is also a beautiful dog park just down the road.

This is the second time I've had to overnight in Sicamous in perhaps a dozen years and it's the second time I've chosen the Best Western there. A very solid motor inn with excellent staff and very comfortable beds. It is not just convenient, it is quietly so, which is nice as it is on the Trans Canada, not far from a truck stop. Breakfast is provided -- it's not 5-star but it is filling and the setting is comfortable (not crowded). We were en route and so didn't stay beyond the time required to get some sleep (during a fierce lightning storm) and get on our way to a hockey tournament in Alberta that our Grandsons were playing in.

We were amazed at how courteous and kind everyone of the staff at the Inn was. Our room was clean and the room was updated and a very good value! The breakfast options were great. It was overall a very good experience!

This is our hotel of choice when we visit family in the area. The rooms are spacious & clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast offers something for everyone. This is a beautiful property within walking distance of town.

This was a pleasant surprise with the nicest rooms we have every experience in a Best Western Hotel. I would rate this rooms as 5 star as they have all the amenities and are very clean and have up to date furnishings. The staff are very pleasant, particularly the lady that runs the breakfast buffet. Good breakfast buffet with many selections. Close to the highway and tim hortons, but no need for tim hortons with the great breakfast at the hotel. i would definitely stop here again.

Lovely opportunity to see the town and visit the dairy on our road trip. The hotel is well situated close to the highway and easy to access the old town as well as the nearby shops. I enjoyed the hotel hot tub and pool

This BW is the best! The room was spacious, nicely decorated, soft pillows and more. The pool and two hot tubs were very clean. The pool was long enough to swim lengths and one hot tub was outside. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with hot eggs and sausages. The best part was the large grassed back yard over looking the river. Excellent value!

stayed here one night due to a positive TripAdvisor rating and was not disappointed...large room...very clean and modern....such nice hot tubs and pool....mattress comfy a bit firm for me but nice pillows...the heat in the room was quiet and despite being close to Highway surprisingly little highway noise!! Breakfast was nice and the attendant was friendly and helpful!! Definitely will book here again.....was a great place !!
