If you don't need to be in the city our you are just passing through this is a great place to stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the shower was strong with a good temperature. The staff were very friendly, and there is a small restaurant on sight with a small selection of meals which we enjoyed. This hotel is also suitable for disabled guests.
Brilliant hotel behind Brussels nord station. Easy check in and very clean. Only down side was the wall from the train station to the hotel (5 minutes) was it was walking through a rough area with beggars and lots off mess. The paths could do with been upgraded but the street cleaners were out in force every morning to clean up as they needed it. Great hotel though.
This is a nice hotel in outskirts of Brussels city and a forested area nearby giving a feeling of staying in resort. The rooms are well equipped & sufficiently large. The buffet breakfast was good but not much variety.
Restaurant only open for breakfast...it's a motorway service hotel.. great if you're a truck driver !! ... definitely NOT the place to go as a tourist! !! Disappointed ?? as it wasn't advertised as a motorway service hotel .. and stated there was a restaurant for lunch and evening meals. Had to get a microwave meal from fuel station and hotel warmed it up for us .. dreadful !! .. looks like a prison but clean average rooms and nice staff. Never again !!!
Chose a basic place by the highway, ready for an early morning trip to Charleroi. This place filled the bill, virtually in the car park of a service station and with cars whizzing past nearby, it was ideal. The reception guy was very helpful, the rooms were clean & functional and the bed was comfortable for the short time I was there, but I can't think of another reason I'd normally stay here. Value for money for the purpose.
This is an ok hotel if you come by car. Located by the highway and free parking. Reasonable price and nice staff. Room was clean and nice. Pillows were pretty hard and very comfortable but since I was tired I fell asleep easily. The security lock on the room was broken, might be an idea to have a check on the rooms from time to time. Based on price vs what you get I woulnd't mind staying here again later.
New hotel on the highway, relatively clean & neat with reasonable bath room. No outside any eateries as well as may have problem of noise if you keep windows open. Breakfast area is little small but varieties & food are good. In general okay for a night stay.
Stayed here on Sep with our group. The travel agent were arrange Twin room for me and my mom. They gave us double room and said that they are dont have any twin available for changing when requested. I asked for extra duvet and comfort mattres to laid down on floor as their double bed is pretty small for 2 persons. The receptionist girl gave only comfort mattres and just like throw it to me. Soundproofing is very poor as u could hear everything from corridor and next door. Breakfast area is very small and crowded compared with their number of guests. Food is Ok.
Yes, this is a relatively new hotel, but its already operational 6 years. If you leave the windows closed, there is virtualy NO noise of the highway in your room. If you really want to have a quiet room with view to the forest, ask for a forest room. Breakfast is also fine, all ingredients are fresh. There are no ' eateries or bars' in the direct vincinity of the hotel, but if you take exit 20 there is plenty of local bars and restaurants to chose from. Clean, functional and not too expensive while being on business
The hotel is quite new and clean. But the problem is the noise, not even the traffic on the Motorway but the slamming doors of the rooms. We stayed one night at a weekend and we were waked up early by people that left their rooms with slamming doors, and the noise was hard to avoid so I do not blame these people. The breakfast was ok.
Possibly styled on a Prison with its layout and clanking Metal Bedroom doors. Added to this the setting is acroos from a Motorway service station so no security on parking. My room had an interconnecting door, I could hear people coughing quite loudly through it. I think it attracts coaches and people who don't need to sleep!
This hotel is literally on the highway!! The only thing buy it is a gas station, but thankfully if you have a car you can get back on the highway and take the following exit to find a market and a few places to eat. This also is a popular hotel for tour bus groups; one or two possibly three a night. Now about the room, it was not clean when we arrived there was coffee rings on the counters as well as dried out coffee in the bottom of the cups. The water kettle was also a safety hazard! it had springs out of the top and was poorly taped back together. The toilet had some kind of sticky on it as well. There was also a issue with the heating and cooling system in the room. Even though they claim this to be a non-smoking hotel everyone smokes by the windows so you aren't able to open them without the smell. If you have no other intention than a place to sleep for a night it is okay, but beyond that I would avoid it.
This is essentially a hotel in a motorway service area south of Brussels. Its quite new so everything inside is clean and mostly well designed. The good points: reasonably priced; rooms are not large but comfortable and have good soundproofing from road noise; plenty of free parking; free wifi; pleasant staff; ok restaurant. The less good points: no power sockets anywhere near the bed - for a new-build hotel this is amazingly poor; its very popular with coach tour groups so be prepared for long queues, noise and crowds every time a bus/coach arrives; poor soundproofing between rooms and from the corridor - every footstep is audible; breakfast selection/quality average at best.
Stayed here for 5 days in May 2017 for business. In general, it's an OK hotel. Good points: - Good service from front desk - Free gym (if you are a rewards member). Also free bottled water at the gym. - Large (free) car park - Rooms are modern and clean (but small) - Air conditioning is good (but sometimes they turn it off from the front desk even when you are in the room using the air conditioning) Bad points: - This hotel gets large tour parties. Breakfast can be extremely busy and once they ran out of food by 8 AM (manager refunded me the cost of breakfast). Generally service at breakfast is slow and they don't always re-fill items (e.g. milk) unless you ask them - Wi-fi is extremely slow (around 0.1 Mb/sec) in the evenings. During day time, average speed was around 4 Mb/sec. - Hotel restaurant is closed on weekends and public holidays. Nearest food outlet (fast food) is a few minutes by car (or 15 mins walk) - Nearest town with restaurants is about a 10-12 minute drive in the car - Sound proofing can be better as you hear doors slamming from other rooms - Tour groups tend to be noisy in the mornings
It's a pretty simple, no-frills Best Western. The location is right off the highway, so it's super easy to get to and there is ample parking. It was really clean inside and everything seemed pretty new. It's not very well insulated for sound, so it could be a little noisy when people were opening and closing doors or talking in the hall. My biggest complaint: There are picnic tables right outside some ground floor windows (including mine). People would sit there, talk loudly and smoke. The smoke would seep into the room through the closed window. There was a separate smoking area outside, but the staff doesn't do a good job of encouraging people to use it because they put ashtrays on the picnic tables.
Good Points + Got the disabled room, very spacious + Good free parking, no hidden charges + In room tea/coffee + bed was comfortable + room was quiet + wifi very good + individual toiletries ... and the not so good... - Receptionist really would have preferred not to talk with customers - no ironing board - no bedside sockets (come on?) - no shaving mirror - no shaving mirror - no bathtub
Simple, not expensive and offering a good quality, this hotel has nice modern rooms with flat screen, Nespresso coffee maker for free, italian shower and comfortable bed. Ideal place for 1 night. Free parking available on site.
Simple, but excellent hotel as basis for business or leisure in the Brussels area (if you are with a car - I have no experience with public transportation from this hotel). Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, Free parking and WiFi. The breakfast was also excellent, and I could not notice that a big group ( 2 busses) had breakfast just before I arrived at the buffet.
Neat and cozy..good for overnight stay. Comfortable and specious room though not much to see around. In first look it does not look like a Hotel but once you enter you can realize with good ambiance at reception
An ideal overnight or weekend away hotel to base yourself for a visit to areas in South Brussels. The hotel is on a motorway service area, but is in a quiet location. There are no restaurants in walking distance, they are some a short drive away. The hotel is clean with comfortable beds, and I would stay here again. The breakfast is expensive at €12, so give that a miss and go into the service area next door instead.
A very handy place from which to see this amazing museum site. Good easy accommodation to use with limited restaurant. The biggest problem was interpretation of the 'get to' instructions we received and perhaps a lapse of memory of the photograph on the advert that we did not have with us. The hotel is ON the Brussels ring road next to the service station so you should not leave the motorway as we did!
It is blantantly situated on the E19 motorway. For a motorway hotel this was actually exceptional. I knew we could count on Best Western when I made the reservation, but this surpassed my expectations. They know exactly where they stand in the market and deliver accordingly. From the young eager service at the front desk, accommodating us after we realised that booking.com had not really communicated with them, to lending us a plug UK/B converter free of charge, to understanding that we were not part of the wedding party and so putting us upstairs in a separate more quiet area. The rooms were perfect. Modern up to date and practical. A card light switch insured the hotel keeps up its green credentials. It helps that this hotel in particular was purpose built. The decor is typical executive, slightly cheerful but functional and exact. The bathroom with a big shower space is just the right size. The bed was extremely comfortable and the noise of the motorway was non-existent. Simply amazing trick they pulled off. Price was right on the money. And access super practical for a motorway departure obviously. We didn't have time to stop for breakfast, but I regret that, personally. I am proud to say it will not be the last time I indulge in a motorway best western hotel. Value, cleanliness and service. No other reason to go there, but they didn't disappoint. 10/10.
Travelled with group tour . Seeing old remarks I had fear in mind about Air Condioning & noise problem. But to my surprise Air condioning was working very well & there was no noise from High way inspite of my room was High wayfacing . Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was good. I would like to give special thanks to Hotel because I had left my Bag on reception at the time of departure in morning & realised in evening after reacing Paris that it is missing. We contacted Hotel & they confirmed that it is with them. They were kind enough to keep it for 2 days before
Quite a pleasant place, though out of the way. Small rooms but comfortable and clean. Nice food, though service was a little slow. The only real issue was the rooms were far too hot and we couldn't do anything about it. We were overlooking the motorway so couldn't open the windows and the air-con switched itself off. Not perfect, but I would use it again.
