Amazing 2 night stay for our 8th anniversary. Victoria, housekeeping and the wonderful Indian lady from the frontdesk, made our stay memorable. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet, clean and seemed safe. Will definitely return.
Victoria was great she checked us in after we didn't have a great experience over at the nearby motel 6 but when we decided to switch to best western the check in and check out was quick , staff was friendly breakfast was amazing everything was fresh , shower pressure was great nearby fast food places I would high recommend good pricing and worth it
I have stayed in Best Western in Lisle, IL a few times. My experiences have been positive. I have stayed in other hotels in the area, but have stayed in Best Western more often because it's been a better deal when I book via Priceline. Best Western has seemed to match the standard of other hotels in the area like Holiday Inn or Fairfield Inn, and Best Western is better than staying at Extended Stay since Best Western offers a free continental breakfast for about the same price.
We came back from vacation to discover a tree had fallen on our house. We needed immediate accommodations for our family. The staff at the hotel made an incredibly stressful night bearable. The breakfast was top notch in the morning. Very clean. Staff was attentive, quickly refilling the breakfast times with fresh, hot food quickly. In the morning, Victoria at the front desk went above and beyond - I am so grateful for the wonderful staff there!!
Checked into the best western yesterday here in Naperville and was met at the front desk by Victoria. And upon being greeted by her… You know you're going to have a decent stay. Victoria is what you want representing your company. She was professional, friendly, helpful from beginning to end… Good sense of humor. We had a few nice laughs. Best western take notice.
Nice room, but Victoria at the front desk was exceptional! Hotel is clean and is located near I-88 and not too far from downtown Naperville, where you'll find great shopping and the best dining in the western Chicago suburbs. Walk across the street and try Buona Beef... some of Chicagoland's better Italian beef restaurants.
They need to change rug the foot smell was quite awful. Also they need to save water the toillets are old and the amount of water waisted is huge. The breakfast service. Is good an also the gym. The service in general is good and You need to let them knoe to clean your room.
Do not stay here! It is a motel, not a hotel, with mental patients smoking and shouting outside your door. Cigarette butts everywhere. Marijuana smoke too. Air conditioning turned off in the gym, missing parts to the universal exercise machine. This place is a dump. I called corporate; they don't care.
Nice and helpful staff w no check in or departure issues at all though booking through third party. Breakfast included offered way more options than expected, clean room w decent beds.
The Naperville Best Western is really well run. I've stayed multiple times and the rooms and common areas are always clean and well maintained. The staff is professional, helpful, and friendly. I also want to give a special shout out to Victoria, who really goes the extra mile to help the guests and make them feel welcome! -SV
Checked out 20 minutes after checking in as we could not handle the smell of the room. The rooms look nothing like the pictures online. Requested a full refund and they said no. Definitely do not recommend staying here.
A great place to stay. I really appreciated the clean room and bathroom and the comfortable bed and sheets. It was an added + to have the great buffet breakfast they offered every morning.
Kali was wonderful and had excellent customer service skills. She deserves recognition and a promotion. I couldn't ask for a better customer service experience at this location. I was greeted very professionally and treated with royalty!
Victoria at the front desk was great! She checked me in quickly and answered any questions I had. The rooms are clean, the A/C is cold. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good too! Great selection of restaurants near by to choose from as well.
Best Western is my home away from home!!! Nice prices and they have smoking rooms Victoria at the front desk was the most delightful person I met in long time she was professional , courteous, and funny Kali was amazing as well !! Come visit whenever you're in town !!
We stayed at the Best Western in Naperville because it was the closest to Edwards Hospital where my mother had high risk surgery. Awesome and friendly staff, Stay and breakfast . A special thanks to Victoria, Angel and Romero. My wife spilled wine on the bedding which also included the mattress. I informed the staff and they helped us out. We are very grateful.
Very friendly staff Vicky is amazing bubbly bright an very welcoming remembers my name an just makes u feel comfortable during it stay very clean an comfy rooms thank u all in Naperville u male a bad situation a great experience
Kali and the team here are amazing. I stay here weekly travelling with business and they are always easy to deal with and most importantly, clean.
This was my first time staying at this Best Western. I have stayed at many other Best Westerns before and all of them have been great. This was the first time that I have been disappointed in a Best Western. The hotel is very run down and dingy. When we arrived at check in, the front desk clerk tried to double charge us for a room we had already paid for. The room itself was mediocre at best. They only have full size beds, no queen beds. They are incredibly uncomfortable and small. The rooms need a serious remodel. The bathroom only had 2 towels in the bathroom. The next day we asked for housekeeping to come and straighten the room and were told it was too late to request it but they would come the next day. We were fine with that. However, the next day no came to clean the room either. They finally came to clean the room on the last day we were there. My husband called them to complain and the hotel manager Joy Patel called back and said that she had cameras everywhere watching us and essentially said we were lying about the cleaning. She was extremely rude and condescending. My husband mentioned he would write a review and her response was that our review wouldn't matter as we were not "important" customers. I am not sure what she meant by that but Joy was very mean spirited. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
Kelly was very nice and love her smile. I felt very welcomed thank you! Kelly also was very informational and let me know if she could help with anything or any questions about anything that she would be glad to do so - a very good host ☺️
1/21/2024: As always with Best Westerns, I booked a room with a king sized bed at this hotel online and then called the hotel to let them know we were traveling with our dog to make sure we got a pet-friendly room. The reason I always call after booking online is because Best Western's website does not provide an option to indicate the need for a pet room like, for example, Hampton Inn's website does. Yes, Best Western does have a “comments” section where you can request that but, in our experience over the years booking online at Best Westerns, staff at the hotels do not see that, so you're taking a chance that when you arrive they won't have a pet room for you. So, instead, I always call and make sure they know we'll need a pet room. Despite doing that, when we arrived at this Best Western we were told they did not have a pet room with a king bed. Instead, they offered a room with 2 double beds. When I told her I booked a king bed online AND spoke with staff to confirm we were traveling with a dog, she said, “I'm not going to argue with you”. She said they don't know if a pet room with a king bed will be available until the day of the reservation. That means even if you book a month in advance, they (and you) won't know if the room you've reserved is even available until the day you arrive! With this mentality, you might as well skip making a reservation and just show up at the hotel with your fingers crossed. Naturally, we decided to leave this hotel and stay at the Sheraton less than a mile away. We have been on a road trip since 1/9/24,(13 days so far), and during this trip we've stayed at hotels in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, Mississippi, and Arkansas. On more than a few of those nights we stayed at Best Westerns. Some of them were very nice, some were less-than-clean, and some of them felt somewhat unsafe. But, ALL of them got the reservation correctly except the Best Western Naperville Inn. Best Western, if you're listening, it's important that you understand that when someone goes through the trouble to book online AND call the hotel directly to confirm that reservation, there's absolutely no excuse for not having the room that was reserved. Hyatt, Hampton Inn, Hilton, and even Super 8 get that right. PS: We're looking forward to our stay tomorrow night at a Hyatt. With the exception of the many great stays we've had at the La Crescent MN Best Western Plus, this was the last straw for Best Western for us.
I travel to Naperville a couple times a month and have stayed in many of the hotels in the are. The Best Western has become my favorite. The rooms are always clean, well appointed and the service is impeccable, particularly at the front desk. I'd like to give special thanks to Victoria who goes above and beyond …all the other folks at the front desk do a great job as well. Couldn't recommend high enough
My husband and I arrived at your hotel on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, at about 6 p.m.. We were both not feeling well. You have a Filipino lady that went above and beyond to help us. My reservation got deleted and it had been made August 8th, at a special rate.. She worked until she was able to give us our original rate from August. She did not have to do this, but we truly appreciate her effort. Next, my husband was running a fever and I asked her if she knew of an urgent care facility nearby. She located two facilities and drew me maps to them. She called my room and told me she was leaving it for me at the desk and that the UC's opened at 8 a.m.. I do not know her name but I saw her again at the desk on Friday about 8:30 p.m. You have the very best employee in this lady. Give her a big pat on the back, as she deserves it. Also, your breakfast staff is really good. You serve a delicious breakfast. I just wish that you opened it at 6 a.m. on the weekend. Sincerely, Carolyn Dianne Jones Conroe, Texas
There is a refrigerator and microwave. The beds are very comfy. I slept soundly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did however live with a spider during our stay and there was a little spot of black mold in the bathroom.
Awesome room! This is beautiful hotel. The staff is great. I stayed extra 2 days. Will come back again. The breakfast was so good and fresh. The location was very convenient. Close to shopping and nice places to eat.
This hotel has everything we look for, such as a reasonable price, clean, friendly staff, "free" breakfast. It was also a central location for where we had to go . We will definitely stay here again!
I love the hot breakfast in the morning! The staff is all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nice, quiet, peaceful property. If you book elsewhere, you will always wonder, what could have been?
Staff was so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great too! Highly recommend for those who want a peaceful stay just outside Chicago. Saved us some money with no compromise in the experience, highly recommend!
Carpet was wet prior to our check in. Think it is toilet over spill. Front desk would not switch room. They did bring us a very fine fan? The front desk did offer a room for a $125 up grade. I would not recommend this hotel.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. The internet fast and reliable. Food was hot and fresh every morning. Its at a great location on the edge of town. I stayed here for 3 months for work and enjoyed my stay very much.
I enjoyed a lovely stay at this Best Western. From the time I made reservations via phone and spoke to Silvia, the head desk clerk, to arrival and departure Silvia was amazingly courteous, professional. helpful and friendly. My room was clean and comfortable, as is the entire Inn. Well done Best Western! Thanks to Silvia and her team for an enjoyable two day stay.
Just a weekend trip We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Sylvia at the front desk was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
Sylvia and the Best Western staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Housekeepers are prompt and on time. Breakfast is great. I enjoyed my stay here. I recommend anyone to visit BW in Naperville IL.
We (3 high school Ultimate Frisbee teams) stayed here during our weekend tournament. The staff were tremendously helpful and accommodating for our large group of over 70 people. They were organized with room keys for all the players, making check-in go efficiently Friday night. They opened breakfast 30 mins early for us to get to our games in time and clear out before the rest of the patrons. They also let us use the breakfast area for our catered team dinner Saturday night, even helping clear the space so we could set out all the food. One drawback was no pool, but the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it is a smoking hotel and even though there are non-smoking floors & rooms, the smell still permeates.
I stayed at the BW Naperville for 5 days in July 2023 for a family wedding. The staff was always helpful and pleasant. The facility was clean and quiet. The surrounding area has plenty to offer. Thank you for a great lodging experience.
So I made the reservation on Booking.com and it didn't say ANYTHING at all about smoking rooms. Imagine my surprise after a week-long road trip at 100% non-smoking hotels, when the clerk said, "2 nights in a smoking room?" Uh....no way. She was able to get us a non-smoking room after all. I wasn't at all confident it wouldn't be smelly and smoky, but it was ok. The second issue was my kiddo's bed had a RIPPED sheet on it. Yes, multiple holes on the top and bottom. My kid didn't care, but I did. The pillows were small. The hotel definitely needs a remodel. The chairs in the lobby were faded.
Our stay was positive and without incident. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Our double room was comfortable and clean. Shower great. Breakfast had good hot food; I could wish for re-usable metal utensils rather than throw-away plastic. Costs were exactly as advertised. There is no phone in the room to connect to front desk. AC works efficiently. Somewhat awkward placement of microwave & refrigerator inside the same console holding drawers. Wish they had a pool. Overall a positive experience.
A large group of us (bus) stayed at this hotel. Our rooms were ready when we arrived. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean. The hallways were quiet. There was a nice pool that some people tried out. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. This hotel is located in a nice area within walking distance of a couple restaurants and stores. We were very happy with this hotel.
I opted for the hot tub room. Requested early check in as well but my room was not ready. I had to come back as it was a 2hr wait. There was a 4in hole in my wall where the bench was, that I noticed next morning when I moved my luggage from the bench. Front desk made a note and apologized.
I arrived late at night. Normally people at the front desk are half asleep and have an attitude. Brinda was at the front desk wide awake like it was 9:00 a.m. smile on her face. It was so nice to check in and feel like you were welcomed. Room was very clean. Smelled great overall great experience. Thank you brinda.
We were very pleasantly surprised at having such a nice experience here at such a low price! Our room was very clean and attractive; the heat was easy to adjust this winter night was cold!); the staff were helpful and kind; and the breakfast was really nice. The next time we visit our brother in Naperville we plan to come back here to stay...for sure.
I stayed here during bad weather. The hotel had a special rate for inclement weather. They were so accommodating and friendly. I love how clean the rooms were. I stayed in a really nice king room. The breakfast in the morning was a great surprise. Lots to choose from. Will be back here again for sure.
I stayed during the winter storm to be closer to my workplace the next day. It was super cold and snowy out, but the lobby was super clean (something I always pay attention to!). The lady at the front desk was nice, she was busy with a phone call but apologized for the wait when she was done. My room was handicap accessible, even though I am not. The beds were a little hard, but I actually really liked it because I prefer it over a soft bed. It was a little loud out at night but that was only because they had a snow plow clearing the lot, and they were done before I went to bed. Shower was amazing with great pressure, and the breakfast was really good! My only complaint was that my room had 2 bottles of conditioner and no shampoo. Everybody was super friendly and I enjoyed my stay. Thank you Best Western!
The beds were absolute crap. Clean crap, but crap. I was so miserable by the third night that I could barely walk. "Firm" would be an understatement. It doesn't matter if everything else was fine if you can't sleep. Never again.
Hotel/lobby was clean/decorated for holiday, helpful staff, breakfast room and food-great. Comfortable beds that were not too high up. Accessibility is a problem-rooms require too much walking and on upper floors only.
The front desk staff is extremely nice especially Victoria and Matt. The housekeeping staff is kind of suspect though, the Head Housekeeper Romero would always stare us down while getting breakfast. I saw him walking out of a room and put something in his vehicle from that room and he also either leaves trash bags on the sidewalk outside of rooms or behind the dumpster. The owner herself kept raising the price and adding on fees that made no sense and she tried to charge us for a microwave that was already broken. If you value privacy and peacefulness don't stay here.
I stay at the Best Western frequently. The office staff that check you in are great. I loved seeing them every morning. Matt, Victoria, Mirna, and Sylvia are all wonderful people and always there with a smile and helping hand. The owners are fair and easy to talk to. They will help as much as they can and care about their guests. I'm staying again in December and will share my experiences then as well.
I wanted to like this hotel and recommend to everyone but I was there for a mini getaway with husband for his birthday.. room was not very clean.. the carpet had not been vacuumed as there were eyelashes on the floor.. the bathroom had not been swept and there was a dirty towel under the sink that I seen as I had to rinse the tub before using. The internet was not working most of our stay. Before arriving I paid in advance $366 and was charged before check in.. when I checked in they told me there was an additional charge of$20 a day so I owed $40. I was charged $406 at check in.. I checked my back account as soon as I went in room and the $366 charge was gone and only had a charge for $406. The next morning I took my husband shopping for his birthday and my card was denied.. I checked my account and the $366 charge was back and my account left with $22 dollars.. This hotel double charged me.. $366 and $406 was taken out of my account forcing is leave the store embarrassed without my items. I go back to the hotel and ask why I was double charged and their stance is I was not double charged.. I show 2 charges.. and their answer is it should drop off.. wtf. No offer for the huge inconvenience they have caused, for ruining my husband's birthday shopping trip and the fancy dinner I had planned for later that day because they charged me twice and caused my bank to hold my money.. I was there Friday thru Sunday.. it's Monday now and I still have 2 charges from this hotel and the bank is still holding $772 of mine when I made a reservation and prepaid in full for $366 and only agreed to that amount.. the fact that the people that work in this establishment offered nothing at all was the icing on cake.
Ok, went to a family wedding. Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The place was clean and if you enjoy a freaking shower that has such 1970's water pressure feel free to visit. I already miss the shower! Lol. The wife is also picky and did not find anything that would make me go to target for cleaning supplies.
We have stayed at this Best Western many times in the past. We are always greeted warmly and welcomed back each time. From the assistant manager Matt to the housekeeping staff and the woman that always has a warm breakfast ready the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We highly recommend this best Western Inn! The Van Dykes
The website says pet friendly however we were kicked out early due to having a cat which is my pet. I was in the process of moving and needed a place to stay. This created a major issue. I had to find a new place to stay.
Have stayed here multiple times for a week each time. Location is fantastic. Bed and HVAC were perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely would stay here again as they have a great extended stay rate.
Check-in process took three rooms because of smells, loud fans, extremely dirty carpets. Final room had issues too but tried so just gave up. Lots of other hotels in the area at same price point; I suggest picking another one.
Room was clean. Ambience of hotel is not appealing. Staff is not true customer service with a sense of welcoming; almost makes one feel guilty you are staying there. If you have a pet, be prepared to pay an unnecessary fee and sign a form indicating that you and your dog are not responsible and perhaps even criminal.
I checked in late and checked out early the next day. The room was great, comfortable bed, working air conditioning. The staff was helpful and friendly. Easy access from the highway, Well-lit parking lot.
Always clean, and excellent service that I have come to expect from Best Westerns! Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Clean hotel, tons of food options close by, all kinds of stores and sights to see close by. Excellent quality beds.
We stayed on the first floor as we had a dog with us. I appreciated that the entry was outside, made it easier for walking my dog and getting items in and out. I also LOVE that the floors were not carpet in our room. However, the air conditioner was extremely loud and didn't cool the room as it should have even after maintenance came out to fix it. It kept us awake. We had to run it constantly to cool the room down then turn it off before bed so we could sleep. There also weren't black out curtains in our room on the first night. We had to use chip clips to close the decorative curtains to block out the parking lot lights. When maintenance came to look at the air conditioner, he also installed black out curtains even though we forgot to ask about that, which was much appreciated! On our last night they did some kind of construction to patch the parking lot right outside our room. It began quite early, 7 or 8am, and we had a 14 hour drive that day. Losing sleep made it more difficult. They should make sure any construction happens in the afternoon or early evening so they don't disrupt sleep.
Booked and canceled a room through Expedia. Hotel claimed I booked a separate reservation with hotel. Ridiculous. There is no reason for me to book two rooms at one time. You would think system would note that a person was making a duplicate reservation.
The elevator hasn't been inspected since 2020. Barely works! We were stuck in it for a few minutes, said it was going up when it was going down. Would highly suggest taking the stairs. Toilet almost over flows everytime you flush. Pillows/bed are very uncomfortable.
Staff is very helpful. We came down to breakfast a little after 9am and staff made sure we had access to their entire breakfast menu (breakfast ended at 9am). The location is great. Easy on and off of I-88. Excellent value.
The room was great quality for the price; easy check in and check out, excellent breakfast choices. Close to businesses and restaurants. Easy to get to. Amenities were great. We all enjoyed our stay. We had to get up early to get to an appointment for the day and breakfast was ready and waiting.
The rooms are big enough to stretch out, we had a view of a pretty tree with birds. The morning breakfast was great, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. The beds are not that comfortable but, we would stay here again because the staff here are wonderful. This place is very clean too. We came here to visit my mother-in-law after she had a fall. The stress was to much for me and I lost it at the front desk crying. Rowena, at the front desk comforted me in my time of need. She is a saint. Maripat at the front desk made sure we had enough of everything and went out of his way and helped me print some very important paperwork.
Outstanding hotel staff and excellent service! My family and I had a great time visiting Chicago and the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Chicago stay at this particular hotel!
Room smelled extremely strong of cigarette smoke. Although at first glance the room seemed to be clean. But upon further inspection, the room was just very outdated and unclean. The curtains had stains, the jacuzzi tub had some stained residue, and the platform it was on was cracked. The bathroom had a tiny shower and tub that had a messed up drain. The staff was extremely friendly and in no way was it their fault. Overall just a very outdated and not clean place.
Dirty floor covered with pet hairs. We have to wear shoes inside the room because the floor was so dirty. My son has to use his inhaler due to allergic reaction to cat/dog. We woke up around 2-4am because they were people arguing at the parking lot. I picked up the desk phone to call the front desk but found out that the phone wasn't working. The breakfast was fine. The only bright spot was the front desk employee at night shift was very nice when we checked in. She called her manager to help us find another room but no room with two double bed was available that time. We ended checking out after the first night and reserved another hotel for the second night.
My Wife and I have stayed here several times and have always had a pleasant stay here. Chicago is about 20 to 30 minutes down the Interstate. Quiet, clean rooms. Restaurants are close by for dinner and the hotel provides a nice breakfast selection.
Do not stay here this place is infested with German cockroaches! When leaving in the morning they were all over my front door and ran inside of the door which must be where they are hiding. Absolutely disgusting!
The employees are very nice & helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good value for price with a full breakfast included. It was very quiet at night too, slept well, beds very comfortable. Room is nicely done, with a microwave and small fridge.
We needed a place that was clean and nice, yet at a reasonable price. We also had a small dog with us. Best Western was the answer to our need. Another plus, the rooms were not too bright at night. Often there are lights both inside and out the keep us awake. It was also relatively quiet.
We stayed her here for 4 days over the holiday. Our room has not been cleaned one time, despite leaving the Please Clean outside the door. When we got back to the room this evening, it still had not been cleaned and it wreaked of weed. Have the door cracked open to air it out. Had to take all of our garbage out. And very loud all night. Thank goodness CVS is close to get some earplugs.
The parking lot is difficult to get to. Not Best Western' fault, but their issue nonetheless. If arriving northboune, you have to pass by the building, then approach from the north (Lincoln Drive), and drive through an adjacent parking lot to approach the hotel from the back side.
We stayed here over Thanksgiving. We had a pet with us. I liked the vinyl planking as opposed to carpet in our rooms. Room was clean. Front desk staff were very nice. Good selection for breakfast. TV was analog which I haven't seen in a while. Hard to get used to the crummy picture. :-) Close to lots of things. Nice price compared to others in the area.
My fiance and I came go visit from out of town and had a blast. The room was clean, we never ran out of linens and having a King room with a Whirlpool that allowed smoking was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend staying here. We travel alot and this is by far one of the best places we've stayed.
We had an amazing stay for a week! Wheelchair accessible room was perfect for our needs. The complementary breakfast was delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. Early check in was very nice. Manager helped me get my bags into the room after seeing how exhausted I was! First call on our hotel list now!
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, while visiting area. Room had 2 double beds, microwave, frig and ironing board. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Hotel with walking distance of several fast food restaurants and a short drive to other full-service restaurants. 1st floor rooms have exterior access while rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor have interior corridors. Did not use fitness center, since weather was nice and there are literally many miles of sidewalk on which to walk or run. I did not see a pool and would not have used it anyhow. Breakfast buffet contained usual cereals, bread, pastries, beverages etc. Since I have to follow a gluten free diet, choices were extremely limited. On Saturday, 2 college sports teams descended on the breakfast room creating utter chaos. No fault of the hotel. If you have a special diet, like me, bring your own food as choices can be limited. No WOW factor for this hotel, but a good, reasonably priced, mid-range hotel with excellent access ot I-88 and I-355. Would I stay here again? Probably.
Housekeeping never cleans my room when I stay there and I always ask the front desk to tell them- and they do, but housekeeping never cleans my room even though the sign says you have to ask for it....ugh just ridiculous and the owners are racist and sexist. They only hire Mexican women to do housekeeping and they don't want black men working the front desk/ housekeeping even though they clearly need people....it's disgusting
Rooms were ready early and were clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to set bags and suitcases. Had to move coffee pot to plug it in and make coffee but that did not bother me. It was quiet, in a great location to Midwestern University and other stores and restaurants. The back door was never locked; not sure if that concerns anyone. Ample parking surrounding the hotel and fast elevators. Small breakfast room so get up early and grab breakfast or take it back to your room. All staff wore masks, and despite signs, most guests did not. I would stay here again!
My 2 BFF's and I enjoyed a quick shopping weekend to Naperville. The hotel was conveniently located to the Chicago Premier Outlet Mall, Fox Valley Mall, and other shopping opportunities. The room was clean and nicely updated.
The breakfast each day was great. The bed was massive and super comfy. I had a fridge and microwave in the room. The location and price were unbeatable. But, by far, the best part was the staff. Always happy and greeting everyone warmly. I had some documents I needed to print for work and the front desk staff went above and beyond to help me. Sorry, I don't remember names, but they were all great.
Amazingly well maintained hotel. Though the only room was a "smoking room",we were very pleased the room didn't have any noticeable scent of tobacco. The "HOT" breakfast was very good. We will definitely be back..
The room had extra aesthetics that were impressive & was very comfortable, parking was extremely convenient located close to our entryway, the staff was extremely friendly, courteous & helpful. Hours after check-out I popped in again while nearby to ask about a particular garden area & the front desk person looked it up for me on his phone & provided me with an address, phone number & directions. I plan to use this hotel when back in the area.
Clean rooms, comfortable, quiet. Great location. Close to my home so that I could check on my pets. Wonderful customer service. Clean lobby and dining area. I joined the club to receive additional discounts for my next stay. Will visit again.
My family and I recently stayed at this hotel. We checked in around 11:30pm after a very busy day. Upon entering the room it was very hot and attempted to get the air conditioning to work. It would not turn on. We went to put our drinks in the fridge and the outside was burning hot. There was a huge ice block in the fridge so it wouldn't shut. We were afraid the fridge would over heat so we had to unplug it. We attempted to go to bed but gave up around 2am since it was so hot. I called down to switch rooms. Upon entering the new room you could immediately smell smoke. It is supposed to be no smoking but it was obviously not enforced. We finally got to sleep around 4am after getting some of the smoke smell gone. Both rooms had multiple holes and tears in the bedding. At checkout I was told that a manager would contact me. That never happened.
Our son will be attending college in Lisle. We have stayed at several of the hotels in the area in search of our weekend home for the next 4 years, as he will be playing football. This weekend we moved him into the dorm. The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. We were extremely please with the location, accommodations, service and rates, John and Matt were both extremely pleasant and helpful to work with! The other members of the staff-breakfast person, maids, maintenance workers were all very welcoming and polite. We no longer have to search. This hotel is perfect for us!
Room was ok, but there were many wheelchair accessibility issues. Thresholds to room and bathroom were hard to cross. There was no shower, only a tub and shower chair which I couldn't use. Towel bars were over 5 feet high. The mirror was too high. The only chair is the room was a swivel desk chair which could not be used. The entrance doors to the hotel were not automatic. Had I been alone I couldn't have stayed here. I was able to manage only with the help of a friend.
This is a renovated hotel, so the room was pretty nice, however, our non-smoking room had a distinct stale smoke smell. I'd have given this BW a higher rating if it were not for that. The breakfast was the typical BW fare. It was quiet and right off of the 88 tollway, so pretty convenient. Fido & I found a nice trail to walk along behind the Costco—plenty of grassy places around the hotel, too.
This was a perfectly fine Best Western. The hotel and room seemed clean. Breakfast was just ok (not a particularly big or exciting selection). The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. This property has a generally good value for the price. The location was convenient to get to shopping in the area. I would stay there again.
Had to get a room last minute, and while the hotel is quite basic, it was worth what I paid. I was checked in by an employee by the name of Victoria. She was so friendly! Even through a mask, I could tell she was smiling. She was incredibly efficient and thorough. She was the only person working at the desk when I checked in, and she was doing an incredible job of multitasking. When I checked out the next day, she was again on duty. I was greeted in the same manner and she was truly interested in how I enjoyed my stay.
My brother, sister and I stayed here for our Aunt's services - what a great hotel, great location, great price! Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and just what we needed for a quick two-night stay. Staff were very nice and recommended some local eateries that were delightful. Area made us feel safe. Will definitely stay here again!
We are on a two-month Road trip. I decided to Go with Best Western Hotels. I got the Credit card and we are Diamond Members. We have stayed in over 10 Best Westerns. Some are deemed Plus. This means nothing. My main issue is that they play this game that no rooms are ready until 3pm. This may be the case at times. When you get to a hotel in the middle of the week and there are no cars in the lot it is probably not true. One Best Western said that they had no clean rooms at 1:30pm but for $35.00 I could have one at 2pm. Best Western Naperville is the first one that genuinely cares about its customers. It is not a “plus”. When we came in the Gentleman at the counter smiled and said that our room was in fact ready. Our room is clean and has plenty of space. I wish that all Best Westerns were like this one. We have stayed in other Hotels and been told 3pm but many actually look to see if a room is available.
Very hospitable, clean and quiet. Rooms were great and sanitized. Area was safe. Recommendations or places to go and eat were right on. Breakfast was great as usual in all the Best Westerns. I would return to this location as long as they are in the location. You won't be disappointed in this Best Western and location.
This place serves its purpose pretty well. Its a decent value property in a central location in naperville. The hotel is fairly recently remodeled, so things are generally still in good shape in the room and in common areas. Standard rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. A desk chair and another chair by the bed are the only places to sit. They're ok but wouldn't want to sit in either for extended periods of time. The bathroom is pretty small but manageable. The toilet ran all night if we didn't jiggle the handle after each use. Breakfast consisted of an egg dish with bacon or sausage and standard continental items like toast, bagels or waffles. Nothing special but got the job done. Not sure why they were still having staff serve the breakfast, as it created a big bottleneck in the room with everybody on top of each other waiting for things. Probably better off going back to self serve. Night staff was helpful and went out of their way to bring us extra towels directly to the room. Overall a good experience and we would consider the hotel again if staying in Naperville for a day or two in the future.
They do not allow cats at this property, but fail to tell you till you're already there. Can also clearly see where they covered up damage with paint. Smelled like smoke everywhere along with loud music blaring at 11pm.
The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. The hotel was completely booked. We had families with young kids and others with pets. We didn't hear them at all during the night. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure!
It's very clean. The staff is very friendly. Restaurants are very close and a lot of them deliver if you don't feel like leaving. It's a limited breakfast but it is fast, warm and good. I would recommend this hotel especially if you have pets.
I shuttle between Poland and the US and upon my return to the US, I stay at a Chicago hotel for a night or 2. Usually at Sheraton. But since they raised their price over a $100 per night, this time I chose something in a $65- $80 range. Hoped for something clean and a peace of mind. And to my surprise, I found a Sheraton quality stay for much less and a very helpful staff. From now on the Naperville Best Western will be my Chicago area home away from home.
It worth it. Surrounded by so much to do. Don't really need a car. I really recommend the presidential suite very big good price for it. Definitely not ghetto. Breakfast was cool and free. Good place for a solo trip, anniversary or with th family
Pay close attention to the exact room you are reserving. In the past I have had wonderful pet friendly rooms at this hotel, but this last visit was less than perfect. Maybe they have changed the rooms that are available as "pet friendly."
Great value close to everything. Friendly staff and aware of local restaurants and activities. Rooms are clean and airy. Breakfast was hot and a good variety options. Will recommend this place to friends.
They were good for such short notice. They were also convenient for our circumstances. The location is by a few known restaurants and gas station is close as well. It's not the best we have had, but definitely not the worse.
Had a good stay at this location. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was also hearty versatile and healthy with many different options. The room was clean and stylish. I would absolutely stay again if in the area. Thankyou.
Our room absolutely reaked of weed!! It was terrible!!! Not clean smelling at all!!! Also management did absolutely nothing to stop the loud music being played. In the room next to us!!! It went on from midnight to almost 4am. We made several calls to lobby. But with zero results. And zero sleep!!! It was a nightmare!!! We stayed here several times before. Without issues. But this stay was terrible!!!
I love Bestwestern and its affiliates! I have had a good experience with Bestwestern and its affiliates. The facilities are always clean and the room is spacious. The quality of towels could be better, but the bathroom was clean and fresh.
I am still here with a check out in 2 days and honestly I'm going to check out early and forgive myself for wasting my money. Imm trying to stick it out but can't make promises. Where do I start... all pillows at check in head 3 styles of hair on them... hmmm. The guy at front desk not friendly at all. He had to go check if my room was ready but I thought based on website they will not book a room 24 to 72 hours between guests due to covid... hmmm... the remote was missing batteries and was filthy, I have pictures. There are spider webs under sitting chair and the heater. The heater revs up and down like a motor... we slept cold due to the noise. The bed is on metal platform that pops when you move on the bed.. sounds like Indian tribal drums no lie!!! The jacuzzi was ok just not powerful jets but lots of sound. The only plus is the size of the fridge. I booked this room for our anniversary since it has a jacuzzi... should've stayed home and enjoyed peace for free.
Our second time here for a week long extended stay. Bed and room were great, perfect location and very affordable price! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in the Naperville area.
This hotel went above and beyond for customer service. I highly recommend this place to stay especially if on a budget. And they have gone above and beyond in providing the breakfast for all guests. Comfortable room, good WiFi and great water pressure in the shower. Room was very clean and close to lots of restaurants.
Welcoming staff, very polite, knowledgable and fast check in. Clean rooms, hot breakfast that at this time is served by staff...very good. Fast Check-out option available. Outside rooms available, which we asked for since we had a puppy...very convenient! Great Hotel!!!
We were in a bind moving to Chicago and had to find a place to park the big Penske Truck with a car tow behind. This Best Western was AWESOME and they were so wonderful to us. It was hard because we couldn't find a hotel in town with that could take all that equipment. The BW in Nappa was our saving Grace! Great place to stay!
The bed was very uncomfortable, squeaked and sounded like the base was a metal can that echoed the noise. We kept hearing what sounded like a police radio or walkie talkie outside our door. The room had been updated but the tile and jet tub looked very old. The tub jets were really week as well.
The people here are quite lazy. They did not touch our room at all. My mother and I left our room in the morning. We took our do not disturb sign with us. We returned in the afternoon. Beds were not made, nor were the towels picked up. Garbage wasn't even gone either. Complained to the front desk, the sour faced middle aged man didn't look like he cared. Got a few towels from him, but not enough. He said the house keepers would be along with the rest. 2-3 hours later they never showed up. Had to go to the desk again to get the rest of what was needed. I complained at check out time. Hopefully, the service is better if I ever come back.
I would just have to say that I was very satisfied. It was my birthday and my boyfriend put in a request to help make the room a little extra special. When we arrived there was 3 huge birthday balloons tied to a box of chocolates with a card and a handwritten Happy birthday. Whomever took time out of their day to accommodate his request deserves recognition. I want them to know how thankful I was and appreciative I was for that,it definitely made my night. I have never experienced anything like that from a hotel. The staff was friendly the hotel was clean. We will be back and I will recommend to friends and family. Thanks again Best Western!
Excellent clean hotel. Maybe I am old school, but John, the host at front dressed in suit and professional. I like that. The room..clean very comfortable, not stuffy. The bed was one of the best. I definitely will stay there again. The hotel was very quiet as well.
Check process took 15-20 min Double charged my card Carnival of ants in my bathroom all over my toilet trees Marijuana filled the hotel halls on the 3 floor Room key shut off multiple times. One of the most horrible and unpleasant experience for 2020
I am sorry to Say I did not have a good experience at this location . The first two nights I had a terrible night of sleep . The heater in my room was broken and when I brought it to the management teams attention they said they would fix it . After the second night of sweating , I wanted to switch Hotels and they would not let me . ( my stay was prepaid ) They finally allowed me to switch to a room w a working heater . Then the cleaning staff would not clean my room , causing me to get fresh towels at the front desk . I was very disappointed and do NOT recommend anyone to stay here .
The staff and management have a very welcoming facility this will be my go to hotel when I'm traveling when I have family in town this will also be the first place I will recommend to them.Richard Chambers
The service and friendliness of this inn was wonderful. They made sure we wewre comfortable during our stay. We needed some extra things because of our speech tournament. Breakfast needed to be early, they accomodated. We needed a meeting room, they accomodated.
My wife and I stayed here for our 26th wedding anniversary. The whirlpool tub was dirty and greasy. The lights above the bar area where flickering even with the power off. Bathroom sink was plugged up
A friend and I needed a quick place to rest our heads for the night. We google seached hotels in the area and started driving in the direction of a comfort inn. I seen this bright shinny Best Western Sign and just choose to go to the nearest hotel. When we stepped in the receptions was attentively in greetung us thought it seemed to be some traffic from ppl that were already staying there. The lobby was so comfy that we did not want to go to our room. Eventually after enjoying the beautiful Furniture and decor we went up to the room. The room had a fridge, microwave and safe. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. My take away from the Experience is that it was the most beautiful hotel that I've seen even compared the Marriott.
This hotel is terrific. I have a great stay every single time. Will be back again soon. I really like the staff. Joy, the GM does a great job with this hotel. Also enjoy the upgraded breakfast here too. Love the restaurants in downtown too.
Enjoyable. For us the location is ideal. We have stayed there many times over last few years while visiting family. The staff we encountered were helpful and cordial from the front desk, to those who take care of our room and those who prepared breakfast. Over all we will always stay at this BW. Thanks for making us always feel secure and welcomed.
The room was large and comfortable. Sleeping on the bed was the best 5+ hours of uninterrupted sleep I have gotten in months. The decor starting from the lobby throughout the whole hotel including rooms is freshly updated and so modern/current/luxurious. The breakfast was the best I've had at a Best Western (really, any hotel I've ever stayed in)--and I travel a lot. The staff was courteous and friendly, I feel like family there. I can't wait to get back!
While I wouldn't say this is great for romance, it's a cute little getaway if you and your S/O want a comfy place to rest and relax. My family and I stayed here after being displaced (long story), and everyone was so accommodating and kind, from front desk staff to housekeeping. Everything was spotless, and that is a BIG deal for us. From the public areas to the room to the elevator. Vending and ice machines on every floor, free breakfast that is really delicious and much more than I expected to receive from a Best Western (I haven't stayed at a BW since 2011). Plus, the bed was SOFT. Great location, too, within walking distance from a myriad of restaurants, bus lines, and a couple of grocery stores, including a Korean market that I fell in love with. Amazing stay overall and I will come back if I ever want a couple days' rest for a great price.
A friendly greeting is a great start, but when it's complemented by a nice clean room, a comfortable bed and a good night's sleep it's exactly what you need at the end of a long day. Breakfast was very good and the exercise room was what we needed to start the day. Thank you!
Gave us a one-bed room, when we paid for two-beds. They corrected it, but it was all downhill from there. Hair in the bathtub drain. The people next door started out drinking. Then loud sex. Then loud talking and more drinking. Then more loud sex. This continued from 10 pm until 4:30 am. We told the staff about it, but it never really changed. I would not stay here ever again, They should have kicked the people out.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel.i was here for wok at a local office. I usually stay somewhere else, but thought I would try this hotel as it had good reviews, plus the rate was lower. I will be back again. The staff is amazing and rooms are new and very clean.
Matt Kelly at the front is awesome and the rest of the morning crew is outstanding! We're from the south and received the southern hospitality that we are accustomed to. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is awesome. Also not too far from Chicago. We would definitely stay here again. A++
The hotel, and our room in it, was clean, quiet and pleasantly furnished. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of food available. Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. It's not a luxury hotel, of course, but it was a great value and we would definitely stay there again if our travels take us back to Naperville.
We've stayed at the Naperville Best Western location multiple times over the years, and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is ALWAYS EXCELLENT.
Rooms were very nice, Hotel staff friendlly and extremely helpful. Convenient location to just about anything in the western suburbs of Chicago. One of the better hotel chains we've stayed at in the last several years. Also the best reward program of a lot of chains as well.
It truly starts from the top down. John Rawski, the Assistant General Manager, has been very accommodating. We stayed 4 consecutive weekends because my wife took a class in the area. Since we arrive at 8:00, there is no place for me to go. It's winter and very cold. He went out of his way to make sure I was able to check in. As for the facilities, it's well kept. The rooms smell clean. It doesn't have the old musty smell. Carpets are clean and not run down. 2 thumbs up!
I was impressed with this hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was good. The room was clean and water pressure was excellent. For the price you can't beat it. Would definitely come back and stay.
I will avoid this hotel going forwards out of principle. The manager at this Best Western lacks common sense. I offered to book a new reservation first if they would agree to cancel and refund my original reservation that I made through Priceline. The new reservation would have cost more, so they'd get paid more. Priceline could have confirmed the new reservation before they issued a refund on the first reservation. Instead, this Naperville, IL Best Western manager chose to do nothing to accommodate a repeat customer. This is a rare situation, and I just learned that this Best Western is unforgiving.
Nothing fancy, but the room and public areas were clean and up-to-date. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. The biggest surprise was the hot breakfast, which was so good that I was glad I took advantage of it. The coffee was perfect.
Best Western is always a consistent good value. They are everywhere I need them to be and usually convenient locations to other services. When spur of the moment hotel needs arise, Best Western is usually one of the first places I check.
Nice clean room and well appointed. Front desk staff were very friendly. Good location to tollways. Close to downtown Naperville and plenty of restaurants. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of parking.
The non smoking rooms were good and clean. Just enough amenities to last. Staff was friendly but especially the breakfast buffet staff. The designated smoking rooms were heavily stench of smoke. I understand that they are smoking rooms but there are ways and machinery to clean these rooms to at least rid of most of the stench.
I always use Tripadvisor ratings to guide my hotel choices. This is the first time I was let down by the ratings here. This was not a great experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others. The first thing I saw while waiting for check-in was a sign on the Front Desk addressing cash-paying customers (not debit card-paying customers, cash-paying customers). Something about $100 cash needed up front for possible incidentals. Wait a minute, that's the kind of establishment this is? A place where so many people pay cash that a sign had to be made for them? That was disconcerting and set me on edge with regards to the entire property. I was then told at check-in that the hotel was sold out and the only room available was on the ground the floor with an outside entrance. That is not ok. (For the record, the room was booked direct through their website and we did not request a smoking room or have a pet.) If I wanted to stay at a motel, I would book a motel. I prefer having the added level of security, and for good reason -- when my boyfriend went outside for a cigarette around 12am, there was a man hanging out among the parked cars less than 100-feet away from our door. The man was completely naked on the lower half of his body. I do not appreciate feeling like a prisoner in my room for the entire night due to sketchy people just outside the door. As for the room, it was fine. It seemed clean overall, though the inside of the front door was filthy and looked like it had never been wiped. There was also a very visible greasy handprint on the cabinets to the refrigerator/microwave. Floors and bathroom were clean, the shower was nice. Walls are very thin, you can clearly hear when people in others rooms use the restroom. The bed and pillows were horrible. Bed was hard and on some sort of metal frame that constantly creaked when you moved. Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. We also found a long black hair waiting for us on a pillow when we arrived. The room was stuffy so we turned on the air conditioner -- it barely worked and when it would finally kick on, it made a high-pitched whirring sound like a blender (at least it drowned out the sounds of other people using the bathroom!). The Wifi signal was not strong at all, I got better service turning off Wifi and using my phone network. We paid about $100 including tax for this room -- not expensive but a decent amount of money that warrants much better quality than we received. Next time I won't mind spending a little more money elsewhere for security, a comfortable bed, and the knowledge that management isn't encouraging the type of clientele who pay cash for hotel rooms.
I was charged the full amount of my stay 8 days prior to my arrival. I was also charged incidental expenses twice by the evening clerk saying it didn't go through. The staff of the hotel were rude and disrespectful. The room they put me in was very smelly and they did not even bother to start the aircon. We were very loyal to BW everywhere we go, now it's a different story.
I had a great weekend in Chicago despite the rain. I had a nice room and friendly staff. The room next to me played loud music, however it was good music so I didn't need to complain. Looking forward to my next visit.
Definitely one of the best breakfast I had in a long time, in a Hotel stay. People were very friendly and on top of everything, Just mention that I had an issue with the air conditioning on the first night, next day when I got back from a meeting was already fixed. Great price, 20 Miles from West of Chicago, Clean room, Really enjoyed my stay
This hotel is located near major highways and easy to get to. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I stayed here with my fiance for a weekend and got a king room with a whirlpool. This hotel has smoking rooms, which are not very common now, and I thought it was nice to be able to smoke in the room instead of having to step outside. The room was neat and clean. It is a little annoying that there were connecting doors to the room next to ours because the people in the room next to ours were trying to open it from their side at one point and they were very loud about it. There was also a lot of garbage strewn over the sidewalk by the entryway later in the evening, likely from careless other guests who could not be bothered to put it in the garbage can 5 feet from where it was on the ground. Overall, I would stay here again. The staff are great and the rooms are pretty nice for the price. There is also a free breakfast in the morning.
Space in the room is alright, not too small and not too big. Their beds and pillow are comfy. Restroom is clean. Their breakfast is excellent! Lots of choices! Staffs are friendly. I just wish they have pool.
Excellent Motel, Excellent rate...Nothing bad, Great Wi-Fi, Restaurants within walking distance...Quiet, wonderful staff, Good breakfasts, Clean, Everything in room worked perfectly and very comfortable...
My son and I were driving from Iowa to see a midweek Cubs game and decided to drive as far as Naperville the night before the game. I did a little shopping around the internet for motels and found the Best Western to have good reviews and an acceptable price for what we needed (clean with comfortable beds at a good location and decent price). I'd definitely stay here again. Stay in Naperville and enjoy the nightlife downtown, which is not to far away from the BW.
Hotel was beautifully decorated, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious. Coffee was available 24/7 which was great. Checking in was fast and easy, same with checking out. Hotel was safe and secure, no exterior rooms. Look forward to staying again!
If you are looking for a place to crash for a night or two, grab some quick breakfast and do not care about other features, this hotel would work for you. We needed a place just for a night and booked this hotel. Rooms are just adequate size; carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned in years. Even found a couple of bugs. Breakfast was ok, however muffins were stale and the breakfast area itself was so small that during the peak time there was hardly any place to sit. But like I said, these weren't a huge thing for us as we only stayed there for a night which is why we didn't even feel like mentioning it to the staff. Speaking of staff, they were very helpful and courteous and that made all the difference.
I travel to Naperville several times of year and the Naperville Best Western is now my preferred choice. I love the amenities in the room - having a fridge and microwave is so helpful as I have food restrictions. They have breakfast available every morning included in the fee - my family also loves it when they travel with me (they love making the waffles!). There is a coin washer and dryer in case I have to do laundry and coffee is available 24-7 on the main floor. The staff are very helpful and the General Manager and Director of Sales care so much about their clients - I've spoken with both of them when I had questions. I'm grateful to have this place to stay whenever I am in town.
This hotel has outside rooms you have to go outside to come back inside to the front desk or any amenities and they would not change my room because I paid though a third party. I offer to paid the dif but Sam refused to change my reservation. I would have gladly paid the price.
Very pleased with my stay in Best Western Naperville. Good service, good value, nice clean room, good location to my destination, convenient access, quiet room. I would definitely stay here again on another visit.
Caring and professional staff was friendly and was attentive in every possible way to every couple need or question I raised. Room was spotlessly clean and well prepared. Bed was comfortable and had no trouble falling asleep.
We stayed here for 4 nights recently and I have to say the rooms were big clean and the bed comfy. I thought breakfast was good with plenty of variety and always being replenished right up to close. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The receptionists were partially helpful to us with our baggage issues and checking out earlier than expected. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so much less stressful than it could have been. It was greatly appreciated
2 stars hotel with 4 stars room and service. Highly recommend! Small but you can find almost everything you need, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, microwave, fridge, blow-dryer, tasty hot breakfast, and convenient location...
This was one of the best stays I have had in along time. Staff is exceptional. I came for business and had made reservation for the wrong date. They accommodated me with out a problem. I come to town a lot and will be back for sure.
Great stay. The location has many attractions within 1 minutes. Many restaurants and shopping mall. The hotel staff was outstanding. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. free parking and great hot breakfast.
This hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful.. Spent 4 nights here, and was very satisfied.. Would recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in this area..Also not so far from the city of Chicago....
Me and my colleagues recently stayed in this Hotel for nearly 14 nights. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good. It was Summer so the rooms were feeling hot when you enter. The breakfast was good and had some good varieties. They have ample parking and the Wi-Fi pretty decent. It was very close to my work place and was easily accessible. Some choice of restaurants nearby.
the location was close to our venue at benedictine university (DCI show) and the cheapest we could find in the area, and the hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice and breakfast was impressive.
Really niice plave to stay for all convenience, great staff too. will be back soon. near restaurants and shopping too. breakfast is great and hot. lots of option. newly remodeled and the location is great of highway
Great breakfast, clean room, not too far from the city, and affordably priced. The air conditioning was not turned on when we arrived so it took a few hours for the room to cool down <- my only complaint.
The staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered the lobby, but the lobby area reeked of a cleaning solution (Pine Sol? Lysol?). Very unpleasant and the smell did not lessen during the time of our stay. The room was adequate. But the air conditioner and the refrigerator were so loud it made sleeping extremely difficult. When one unit cycled off, the other one cycled on! Of course, we didn't realize this until we went to bed and at that point we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Unfortunately, that wasn't easy due to the constant noise. I didn't say anything when we checked out because we only stayed the one night and were leaving anyway.
The bathrooms are small and our tub would not drain. They did fix it. Breakfast was good but the area is very congested needs to be arranged differentl . The workout room is small and equipment needs some wor . Elliptical was wobbly and yoga mats were very dirty. Beds were ok but not real comfortabl . Probably wouldn't stay again
Nice economical place to stay. The gym could be a little bit bigger as there is not much room in there and the air conditioner did not work. The breakfast was your typical free breakfast with eggs and various other fruits. The only complaint was it took forever to refill the two carafes.
housekeeping is great and our room was clean. When I checked out I was surprised that the price was higher than I booked through booking .com. The girl at the front desk showed me what supposedly was the agreed rate. I didn't have a screen shot of the $85 I had booked so I had no evidence of the up price. Paid $129 for the first night and $109 for each additional night not the $85 a night I expected. Shame on me for not having evidence to dispute the cost. More shame on them for not honoring the booking g City Room was clean thanks to a great housekeeping staff. I didn't have a screen shot of the booking.com price (shame on me) to push back when they overcharged me. Was supposed to be $85 a night or at least to average that before taxes. Paid $129 the first night and $109 each additional before tax. She said the first night was because they were completely booked. I overheard them tell housekeeping to ask someone to move or pay full price because they wouldn't honor AARP when they were fully booked. Be careful!
I am here once a year and love this hotel. The location is great to our office. I love the staff, they are so friendly and care. Great management team they have. They just renovated and did a great job. Breakfast options are perfect to start the day, hot, healthy meal to start the day. Will be back.
I must say we passed this hotel often but I've never stayed at Best Western. I was extremely impressed when I looked at the site at the rooms. I usually use Expedia and I've found the rooms can be deceptive some times where they look remodeled but it wasn't a quality job or their stinky or both. NOT HERE!!! The lobby's beauty quickly caught my attention. My job requires me to pay attention to the details and I could see the work was done in a true professional manner. My room was clean and I had a wonderful nites rest. They every we're so nice and helpful to accommodate us on a room request for my daughter after we missed their call and needed to extend our stay. Great Job and friendly housekeeping. My children enjoyed the breakfast as well! Breakfast area really clean. Thank you
The front desk guy at check in was obviously frazzled, there was a line to check in, he wasn't all that courteous or hospitable. Once I got to the room, it smelled bad. I went back, they gave me another room, which smelled equally bad and both had dirt visible on the floor. We stayed anyways, my wife got phone calls from the front desk and the maintenance guy banging outside her door at 8am on more than 1 morning of our 6 night stay. They are pet "friendly" but charge an extra $20 per night, per pet! We had 2 small well behaved dogs, that cost us an extra $240 on top of the room charge. I'll stay elsewhere next time.
I loved my stay. I constantly visit Naperville and when I do I always stay here. They're so accomodating and have the best cup of coffee 24/7! Staying here is like being home with family. They have great service.
We recently stayed in this hotel and the staff was great during booking and our stay. The hotel was recently remodelled andthe room was perfect. Clean and well appointed. The breakfast was wonderful with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and waffles. Plenty of fresh fruit and juices. We will stay here again on our next visit.
My husband and step son stayed he night Thursday. I came Friday to join them with our dog. I go to he lobby and get a key (this was around 1PM) and to inform them of my dog/pay for her. Later, around 4pm, I return from a long run with my dog and step son and the reception lady treated me like a criminal. Her language was rude and he connotation accusatory. She said “excuse me did we know about his dog?” Like why would I walk through the lobby to sneak her in?? I was so embarrassed in front of my son. I said yes the gentleman next to you checked us/her in. We go up to the room and I remember actually both he and another gentleman, Matt, both helped me as the first guy had difficulty making a key and needed Matt's assistance. As soon as I got to the room the phone rang. I answer and she said she was surprised because normally dogs are not allowed on the second floor. I said both Matt and the other guy didn't ask us to move rooms when I checked in with my dog. I said we would be happy to move rooms if she would like us to. She said it was too late because housekeeping had gone for the day, and that if Matt had been the one to help me that I was being “untruthful” (yes, she accused me of lying..!!). I said no, BOTH helped me. I was WILLING and even OFFERED to happily switch rooms. And yet I'm being treated like crap. The next morning, we had to wash my stepson's baseball uniform. My husband go to the laundry room. He puts money in the machine for detergent, and nothing comes out. He went down to the lobby and they said it's not their problem, because it's a third-party vendor, and that he should go down the street to CVS. The problem is, it's their hotel. There was no signage on the machine that it was empty. They are responsible for what is in their property. They didn't even offer to give my husband a small amount of detergent, which would be an easy customer service fix, but instead wanted to inconvenience him by making him leave and come back. Finally he gets them to give them a little bit of detergent. Now that we are behind on our laundry and their extreme unhelpfulness in that regard, we can't check out right at 11 AM. At 11:04 our phone rings. I was busy packing and didn't make it on time to pick it up. My husband was in the shower. At 11:08 somebody knocks on the door, and my husband opens it and explained he needs 30 more minutes because of the laundry in the shower situation. At 11:15 somebody else knocks on the door AGAIN. Three interruptions in 15 minutes. HARASSMENT. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. ACCUSATORY. As someone who stays in Naperville two nights a week, we had hoped to find an affordable place to be frequent patrons. Not here unless we have no other option. As someone who tried their best to follow rules, only tonave staff mess up (didn't ask s to change rooms, didn't stock their laundry) WE are at fault??? Give me a break.
This hotel works out great when we visit family in this area. Room is clean, decent continental breakfast with many choices and very well attended. Hotel staff is cheerful and helpful. Great value for this area.
Love this place. Its always inviting and the staff are all very kind I look forward to my stay every time. The parking is convenient along with the location. The rooms are clean and very welcoming. Thanks you
My wife and I have stayed at the Naperville Inn several times when visiting our son and family over the past ten years. We have found it to be a comfortable home away from home, moderately priced and a place that keeps up with the times.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Naperville Inn. My stay was very enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Great value for the price!
I had to come to Naperville for some continuing education for my job. I wasn't familiar with the area and upon check in, the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with recommendations about restaurants in the area. The room facility as a whole is very attractive and my room was nice and tidy. Nice selection of breakfast items waiting for you in the morning to get your morning started off right. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area again.
Met a friend for a much needed break after finals. Althea and team went above and beyond to make me feel special. I didn't expect that type of service as it is hard to come by. When I come back to Naperville I will definitely stay here. It is close to great restaurants, stores, a movie theater, and easy to get around. I recommend the Whirlpool suite and if you have the means to splurge get their presidential suite. Althea and her team set the tone for my weekend after a long drive. My friend and I loved every second of the trip and it started with our experience with the team at the hotel. Our room was amazing. The only thing I would change is purely a luxury item. Bubbles for the whirpool bath.
Great staff that made it easy to set reservation, put me in a room right away, and the location was great for my business purposes. Staff allowed me to park my Semi Tractor and Trailer behind the hotel.
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Quiet hotel. Ample parking. Easy access to major expressway/toll road system to anywhere in Chicago area. Wide selection of daily hot or cold breakfast choices. Nearby there are a variety of lunch or dinner eateries and delis.
The check-in was perfect. The room was clean. The place was quiet for good sleeping. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of foods. The lady working breakfast was great. She loved her job and was very helpful to all of the people.
My husband and I booked this hotel, so we could have a nice place to sleep after spending a day in the city. We decided to upgrade our room to the suite with a Jacuzzi tub. Upon entering the room, it smelt very clean and looked decent.. a little out dated and more like a motel though.(The doors were outside) When inspecting closer though, we began to realize that the room was not worth the price.. When we sat on the end of the bed, it made an awful noise like the metal bottom was bending, the fridge made a weird ticking noise all night, the lamp on the office desk was not plugged in.. and when we crawled under the table to find a way to plug it in, none of the outlets worked on it.. ..There was only one outlet on each night table too, so I wasn't able to charge my phone and use my sleep apnea machine at the same time.. Then we decided to fill up the jacuzzi tub, and the water barely trickled out of the faucet.. It took 40 mins to even get the water line high enough to turn on the jets (which was already luke warm..because of the time it took to fill).. Then when we hit the jet button, it sounded like the tub may explode.. we instantly turned it off and decided it wasn't worth it to take a bath. I then decided to take a hot shower. and to my disappointment, it was very untidy. with a few gross curly hairs in it.. and the shampoo and conditioner smelt awful. We went to bed a little angry.. and decided to confront the front desk in the morning. In the morning, we went to have the complimentary breakfast and it was Extremely crowded.. with no room to even get anything we wanted.. everything was picked through.. (there was still at least an hour and 20 mins left of breakfast) . We ate back at our room and then went to check out. I kindly asked the front desk girl if she would do anything about the Jacuzzi and she instantly asked me if I reported it at the time so we could switch rooms (Who seriously wants to call the front desk in the middle of the night.. and switch rooms.. ???!) She said there was nothing she could do, but we could call her manager tomorrow. So, I called the next day and explained the situation to the manager, and she basically told me that the faucet was suppose to barely come out.. and that's the way its made?? She then said she would go take a look at the tub after I insisted that it didn't seem correct.. and she said she would call right back.. She never did. I'm extremely disappointed. I will never be staying here again
For the money this is a great place to stay. Free hot breakfast. Smoking rooms are available and they have outside entrances to the smoking rooms. The rooms were clean and there are many restaurants in the area.
I brought a group of 55 students and 16 chaperones. The hotel staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They allowed my students to use the dining room for recreational time and checked in on us periodically to see if our stay was to our liking. We will definitely be back!
Had a wonderful stay! Matt and Ramiro were outstanding and very friendly as were the entire staff! Clean and very welcoming! We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the Naperville area.
We were basically looking for beds for the night, no special amenities. The rooms were clean, our check-in and check-our experiences were fine. We did need to make a room swap with one of our rooms due to excessive heat. In my opinion, the night clerk could have been a little more helpful and less resistant to the requested change. Breakfast was fine for price. I would stay at this hotel again, in a heartbeat, considering what we needed and expected.
great staff speedy check in , breakfast had a very good variety and was a very nice area to enjoy our breakfast at . Location and access to our appoints was very good Checkout was fast too which is nice when you want to start your drive.
The rooms were very clean and organized, plenty of tiwels and amenities. The staff was friendly and personable, had great recommendations for local food to get. Great overall service from the entire staff!
Over all rooms very clean. Lots of restaurants within a mile or closer. Mattress should have been replaced years ago. Woke up very sore. Breakfast was good but limited, they only had egg and cheese omelet, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Would have preferred scrambled eggs.
My office uses this property whenever we have out of town visitors. Recently when I stayed, I arrived later in the evening. When I checked in, I was given a hand written note and a snack bag from the front desk person that took the reservation for my office. I've never received a hand written note from a hotel, unless I booked an event. Never received one prior to actually checking in...that is appreciation for the business we bring to them!
Clean, convenient, quiet, good breakfast, microwave in room, excellent room. No complaints of any nature. My second time visiting this location. Will return again when in the area. Would have liked a sunnier day, but Best Western does not control the weather.
I have stayed at this particular hotel while visiting family and have always found it comfortable, clean and the people to be very helpful if I needed information about the area. I have no complaints at all for this hotel.
I have stayed in this hotel on several previous occasions and was satisfied with the value. This time though, there was a problem. The room HVAC unit was not working, I alerted the front desk, they sent someone to look at it, he could not speak more than a handful of words in English so it was just a bit difficult to explain the problem to him. I got a call from the front desk a few minutes later and they said the problem could not be corrected until the next day, which tells me the "maintenance" guy probably only knew how to turn the unit on and off. They couldn't offer us a comparable room (king/non-smoking) so we stayed in that one. We kept the door open to get it as cool as possible before closing it before we went to sleep. It was too warm in the room therefore neither of us slept well. NO adjustment on the room charge, no future discount offers, NOTHING. Very disappointed to say the least.
The king size room is so spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is so great as well . The location is awesome because it has 2 banks close by , 4 restaurants close by asin walking distance . The hotel has a great aesthetic and it is so clean , everything about the hall way speaks art from the flooring to the walls . It is worth every penny . I would definitely recommend it for business , couples , family et al . You will not regret it .
My home away from home! I'm always more than pleased with my stay, the staff goes to any lengths to make sure there guests are happy, I used to book online and now I just go straight to the front desk and they match anything online within reason, I cannot express how nice this property is! I've found a new happiness and it's called The Best Western Naperville
Staff = Outstanding Lobby = Immaculate Rooms = Modern and clean Beds = Lots of pillows and great comfort Breakfast = Plenty of options and extended hours You won't find a better hotel in this price range!
Good location for all your travel plans. Polite and professional Management with friendly helpful staff members. Clean fresh rooms. Good breakfast bar. Located not too far from Chicago. Restaurant and shopping malls nearby.
I have been coming for 10 years for business in Naperville. I love the hotel. I have seen the renovations and upgrades over time. It is very nice and thier breakfast really hits the spot! I like that there are so many restaurants I can walk to.
This establishment has provided some of the best customer service I have ever received at any hotel! I would recommend anyone in need of a nice, friendly and extremely comfortable stay, to stay here. I will definitely come back.
Clean, convenient, hot yummy (and free!) nutritious breakfast. But best of all: the kind and helpful front desk staff who welcomed us when we arrived! We will stay here again when visiting the Wheaton area.
During the Polar Vortex, I stayed at the Best Western, to keep warm. They have an extremely clean and friendly hotel. Everyone was so welcoming and they even had hot chocolate ready when we arrived! The complimentary hot breakfast had many choices. We were so pleased with our stay!
I stayed at the Best Western for three nights in the presidential suite while in town for business. Wow, what a nice room, so spacious, luxurious and great WiFi signal! I was checked in by a very professional stafff. This hotel is located off highway I-88 and for me that was very convenient. If you need a break I highly recommend this hotel for it offers full amenities and a nice quiet atmosphere.
Best Western Naperville inn has great customer service, friendly welcoming staff, and clean facilities. The wi-if is always strong and the breakfast is always hot. There is quick check in and check out with plenty of parking.
I recently stayed in this hotel for my short trip in Naperville area. The cheap booking rate has convinced me to book a room at this hotel. When I got to the hotel, I was surprised to see how clean the whole facility is including my room. The furnishings are in good condition and are well maintained. Breakfast offerings may need a little upgrade, more offerings other than just bacon and eggs for for protein but everything else is good. Most notable is the excellent staff service from front desk people, breakfast hall staff and housekeeping, they were all keen on providing friendly and efficient guest service. I sincerely appreciate the great service as a first time guest in this hotel. I will highly recommended this hotel to family, friends and colleague.
matt at the front desk is always accommodating . althea walker is the general manager and is always sure everything is perfect for your arrival. I've stayed here & always found this to be a nice place & convenient to shopping & restaurants
This hotel is awesome! It is always a pleasure to stay here, the staff is always friendly! Breakfast is always good! Rooms are always clean! Would definitely recommend to a friend 10 out of 10 and not think twice about it!
We always feel welcomed, safe and comfortable. Location is good with ample parking. The entire staff treat you as though you are a guest in their home and not a business opportunity. They do their best to meet your requests.
I've been coming back here for business very regularly over the past 6 months. Very friendly staff that will take the time and listen to your needs. Nice building and rooms. Just outside of the downtown Naperville area to be quiet, but close to nice restaurants and the highway for travel needs. The breakfast has a lot to offer in variety and good quality. Great price.
We always feel welcomed, safe and comfortable. Location is good with ample parking. The entire staff treat you as though you are a guest in their home and not a business opportunity. They do their best to meet your requests.
Had to book a room quickly for a funeral. After spending much time searching and reading reviews I decided to stay here. Easy process online and check in was fast. Super nice staff checked us in. Very pleasant and clean driving up as well as the lobby. Hallways smelled fresh with no odors. Room was clean and fresh also. Complementary breakfast has pretty good choices and dining area is very pleasant. We thought this stay was extremely well priced compaired to others in and around area. Would definitely stay here again if ever out that way!
During the extreme cold the staff (Matt and the head of house keeping) were incredibly helpful and friendly when my car would not start. It was a great environment, with nice people, and very affordable. I would definitely stay here again!
The second I called the front desk with some questions Silvi answered the phone so nice and professional. I spent the night here due to weather conditions. Great room, the pillows so nice, everything clean, no weird noises in the hallways. I will go back there in a heartbeat. Silvi plays a key role in front desk.
We stayed here for a business trip. Hotel was close to shopping and many restaurants. Rooms are nice and clean very roomy. Breakfast consist of juices coffee eggs Bacon some days sausage cereals pastries fruits yogurts. Something for everyone. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would suggest this hotel to everyone visiting this area.
I had a great stay at Best Western Naperville Inn. The room was great and always very clean and tidy. The staff very friendly and whenever I required any assistance it was always very helpful. Very nice breakfast too. The location was very convenient too. I would definitely recommend it.
I come to town for business weekly and this is the hotel I stay at. Clean, quiet, reasonably priced, and close to places to eat after work. The staff is always friendly. I really enjoy staying the night here.
Love it. Clean and well kept room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very well optioned hot breakfast. Great value and close to the Highway. Close to my clients office and planning to stay here next time.
Location was close to the wedding reception I attended and convenient. Staff were friendly and courteous. Wished the room had floors mats against the tile floor. With all the snow and salt it made it hard unloading vehicles and coming in and out of the room without creating a mess.
I certainly enjoyed my stay and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was responsive and friendly; the breakfast was quick , easy, and delicious. For me the location was perfect and there are 4 rental car locations in walking distance.--I'll come again!
Our sheets had stains and hairs stuck to them. We noticed that where the fitted sheet was supposed to be on our bed, it was a flat sheet partially tucked in exposing the gross ‘mattress pad' underneath. I use mattress pad loosely because it was really just a piece of wool-type material over the mattress. There was also no actual comforter/duvet on our bed, just a flat sheet and one of those thin yellowish hotel blankets that normal hotels put between the comforter and the flat sheet. I asked for replacement sheets and a comforter, because early December in the Midwest is not exactly a warm time of the year, and I was told they would be brought to my room. The lady arrived with 2 flat sheets and a new blanket and my husband and I were told that this hotel does not have fitted sheets for king size beds. What?? Then as we were changing the sheets on our bed we noticed that she gave us sheets for a full size bed, not a king so I had to go downstairs and get new ones. I mentioned that I felt it was gross and unhygienic for housekeeping to put those items on our bed that are very visibly not clean. I was told that management would be informed, but nobody ever followed up with us. The shower curtain had holes/stains in it, and to top it off we did not get a restful nights sleep there either night we were there because we could not stop thinking about how gross our sheets and bed must be if they can't even bother to put clean sheets on in the first place. Not worth the nearly $200 we spent AT ALL. Avoid this hotel.
The stay was comfortable. Few things to improve are mattress quality , breakfast spread and in room toiletries. Hotel staff was friendly. The front lobby is really nice. But exterior looks kind of motel
The property is located in close proximity to dining , shopping , entertainment and parks. The hotel is clean and recently updated. Staff is overall friendly and courteous. Rate is a good value for its location and amenities.
This property is nothing special but it is clean and more than adequate for an overnight stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are a number of restaurants in close proximity including 2-3 within walking distance.
The debacle with Qatar Airways (read that review as well - never fly with them!) left me relegated to hotels and rental cars for WEEKS while I was awaiting what they promised to fix: and never did. In the process, I experienced 2 other hotels and 2 other AirBnBs that were ALL literally horrifying. I will rate them separately; but, I will advise NEVER to stay with AirBnB either. This was a refreshing change of pace. I started with a limited reservation, and continued to extend, once I saw first-hand that this is a safe and reliable property with a great staff. Their initial welcome was tremendous, but they also went above and beyond to assist me, given the extreme circumstances. I will stay here again, if business and life circumstances require me to need a hotel in/around Naperville!
This hotel has been recently updated except for a few things that would really help the experience. The front doors are still “pull open” doors, which makes it difficult when pulling in luggage. You end up wrestling with both the doors and the luggage. The other things are the door locks on the rooms. It would take me 5-8 times each time I went to go into our room because the lock was “sensitive”. I talked to two staff people about this, and was given a few tips to try and get the door open, but not much else. All of the staff were kind and pleasant, so we might stay here again, but the door lock thing was really a pain.
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a business conference that was nearby. To be honest, I had not stayed at a Best Western since I was a kid. I booked my room via Southwest Airlines website and the price was very reasonable. I did arrive before my 3:00pm check-in time. I was trying to drop off my luggage in order to make it to my first conference seminar that was at another nearby hotel. I made it to the front desk and was told they had no clean rooms available. The parking lot definitely didn't look like they were crowded, so I found that to be odd. The rep at the front desk, took down my name, cellphone number, and actually called me when a room was clean and available. During a break I went back to check in. I was cordially greeted, checked in, and given keys. The Best Western company has truly stepped their game up from what I remember as a kid. The rooms were upgraded with modernized. I dropped my luggage off onto the luggage rack in my room in order to be back at conference in time before next session. At 9:00pm, I was done for the day with my conference and was back in my room. That was when I noticed that the ambience of the room was distracting from the details I normally look for. As I thoroughly checked out the room, I noticed stains on the bed, and the shower head in the bathtub looked awful. I didn't even bother to contact the front desk, it was already late at night. I ended up sleeping on some sheets I brought from home and decided to take a “bird bath” at the sink. Disgusting! I forgot to get pictures of the shower, I was over it after that discovery and just wanted to go to sleep. This morning when I checked out, I definitely skipped the included breakfast.
Based on my travel and stay this Best Western from 10/1 – 10/4, the place was terrible and nasty- totally unhealthy. I had dirty floor (my first day, the floor was wet and looked like they mopped with a dirty mop), dirty towels, hair on towels, sink, bed sheet and other places, housekeeping was terrible and area where they served food was kept dirty (tables and floor dirty). The overall stay was terrible and unacceptable. Towels were stained, and I noticed on day 3 of my stay that housekeeping reused towels that were placed on the floor. Towels didn't match, some were white and some were off white/brownish. Towels had hair on them, and not just a strand of hair - multiple strands. Bed sheets were stained looked worn out. When pulled the sheets back, hair and stains very noticeable. Floors without carpet not swept daily, hair, spider webs and dirty. Day 1 looked like they mopped with a dirty mop and didn't think about sweeping before mopping. Stained jacuzzi's and tub. Not that I was going to use the jacuzzi anyway. Location where food was served - dirty floor and tables. I checked in afternoon of 10/1 and in the severing area, there was popcorn on the floor and a few tables were dirty (crumbs). Day 2, 10/2 morning, the same popcorn kernels were in the same place and the same dirty tables weren't cleaned. When I asked for clean towels, I was given two towels, which 1 was stained - large brown noticeable stains. This was a terrible experience and I'm disappointed. Management has a lot of work to do.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical, but hot items were hot and kept filled. The sign said Gluten Free items when requested. Cheerios was the only offering. There was some fruit. The location is a block from a mall with numerous wonderful restaurants.
This is just an average Best Western hotel that take larger animals which is what we needed. Pet friendly room was adequate but not much green area for dogs to do their business. Room was fine, a little run down. However, again, it had what was needed for the trip. Not a lot of hotels that are per friendly for larger animals out there.
Staff was not as attentive as they could have been. Always preoccupied with paperwork. Breakfast was OK not spectacular. Would like fresher items. Room was nice but the bed was hard. Tossed and turned to get comfortable.
Clean, comfortable, cost-effective room - good lighting, reading chair, comfy bed, desk area, refrigerator in the room too. The hotel managed to get our family in three rooms on the same floor - most helpful and we really appreciated that effort. Breakfast was more than decent for the type of breakfast (precooked buffet), area was kept clean and well-stocked (those cooks were busy!) There is no pool however.
Do i need to say anymore? This was a comfortable room and bed. The bathroom was very clean, as was every other part of the hotel. The breakfast was magnificent with a wide selection of top tier breakfast food. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
We came through last night real late. Arrived about 2:40 in the morning, Joseph was really helpful and professional. He made the process easy and pleasant for us. The hotel is nice and clean, we would definitely stay again.
1st the photos were deceiving when I thought I had picked a SPA room and when we arrived it was not the case. But the awesome front desk felt bad and did offer us an upgrade to a spa in the smoking section, ewww the smell was bad but we went and picked up some candles because I wanted that tub. So we made do for the next 2 days. However we could hear a couple in the next room "enjoying themselves" most of both nights in a row so that was interesting. The breakfast was a serious joke. Very tight budget style with instant oatmeal and horrible sausage patties. I honestly wouldn't stay again.
We were there's few days ago. The hotel was spotless and comfortable. We like the convenient location as it was near some friends house. We thought the staff was pleasant and and they wanted to make sure we had a good stay. The complementary breakfast was better than most others.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff. We had no problems at all. Convenient location to the highway. This hotel does not have a pool but the kids still enjoyed themselves. No problems with finding a table at breakfast.
When searching for hotels in the Wheaton area, I was surpised to see this property come up at an extremely competitive price. We ended up staying for three nights in July, and found little to complain about, other than the breakfast area getting a bit crowded at peak times. It's a very good-value option.
My wife dubbed this Glamping, as in glamorous outdoor camping. Prices are low, but you get what you pay for. The room had ants, the room air conditioner unit gave my wife and I sore throats and runny noses, the WiFi was worthless, as it did not work, and my gift cards were declined. I guess you could say that this was our last Best Western experience.
This was a wonderful hotel. It was clean and in a great location. It was quiet and safe. The night staff was very friendly, however the morning staff was a little gruff. They had a good area to walk dogs. It was clean.
We went to Naperville for a long weekend. We received excellent service from the Best Western. Clean room with great WiFi, fridge & microwave. Family really enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. Within walking distance to several places. Thank you for taking care of us!
The entire staff from the general manager on down were fantastic! They were attentive and would help you with anything. We loved the morning breakfast. They had Dunkin Donuts which is my favorite to go along with my coffee.
When we first arrived we were told they didn't have a room for us despite our reservation. They managed to find us a room after a long wait. Beds were small. We had a room for four but only towels for 3 and bathroom supplies for two. The toilet didn't flush properly. Hotel was quiet and clean, which was nice.
The rooms & halls are beautiful! The breakfast was full of lots of options! My in-laws had a dog with them & were given a room with an exterior door & laminate flooring, which was nice for them to not have to worry about ruining carpet. Our room was an interior one & as they were nearly full, we were put in the presidential suite! My kids were disappointed by the fact that there wasn't a pool, but the large jetted tub in our suite made up for it!
This hotel has very small beds and they are very uncomfortable. The air-conditioning did not work and was not fixed. We we're informed that they would check for another room to move us to but never got word back about the issue until we were about to check out the following day at 11:30. It cost the same as other hotels in the area but lacks comfortable beds, air-conditioning that works and didn't have amenities like a pool to offer. I will not be staying at this hotel again.
We stayed here recently for a special event. Our room was clean and the recent renovations were very nice. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was great with a good mix of options. My daughter loved the strawberry waffle option! The ladies who kept up the breakfast room did an awesome job. The area was kept very clean and nothing ever ran out! They were also very friendly and full of smiles. . The rates were good but combined with the fact that I got a great discount as part of my employer's Employee Discount Program made it even better. If we are in the area we will definitely stay again.
First stay in Naperville, the hotel was great. Convenient location, clean and quiet throughout the weekend. Breakfast worked just fine in the morning and overall pleasant stay. I would stay again for sure.
Nice and clean. Great breakfast! Very busy forgot to ask for a roll away at check in and was unable to get one before bed because they were out. Very centrally located close to lots of restaurants and shopping.
I would give this hotel 5 stars, except for the fact that the walls are paper thin (TIP: turn on AC/Heat/Fan for ambient noise to reduce your neighbor's noise). We slept well here when it was quiet, and terribly when our neighbors were active. One set of neighbors (room 102) woke up at 6am and had loud phone conversations, and the others (room 100) were late night talkers that kept us up late. Not a great combo... Otherwise, we found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable of the local area. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and have fantastic shower heads with ample hot water and towels (and luxurious bath products). Their coffee is good, their breakfast is average but fresh. We'd stay here again, but probably only in a corner room.
We always stay here when visiting family in the area. We never have had a bad experience. The staff is pleasant to deal with, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the breakfasts are delicious.
Rowena helped me and my fiance check in quickly and efficiently. She was so sweet and accommodating wanting to know if we needed anything and what she could do to create an even better stat for us. Definitely will come back especially is Rowena is working here!
Nothing special...has all the imminities you might want Clean and had no problems...wasn't noisy...that's a plus in my book...has continental breakfast...exercise room...no pool or jacuzzi and that is a plus for me...so not happy there...but all else was good
This is the second time we have stayed here and it is done being renovated and is very clean. The free breakfast was definitely delicious and appealing especially with the fresh flowers on every table.
The staff worked together to make sure your every need was met. They really cared. Even at 10 o'clock at night, there were two receptionists there to check everyone in. NO wait. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
I stayed at the hotel after a long day at work and was welcomed by a very friendly Receptionist. The room was very clean and comfortable. After 5 hours of amazing sleep in the cozy bed I returned to work nice and refreshed. Before returning to work and had a chance to pop in and enjoy a nice hot breakfast. Thanks so much for a great experience!
Loved that they had pet rooms available, for an added cost. The room had tile floor, instead of carpet which was nice. The room was clean. I was a little disappointed in the size of the beds, we had 2 full size beds, just a little small, but still sufficient. The place has been updated a remodeled recently, it was pretty nice, and the price was right, overall a good value. Also note this hotel does not have a pool.
How refreshing to find such a nice hotel and a great price. Freshly remodeled, very modern and clean, friendly staff. Great price for the area! Basic breakfast options, but nice. Would stay there again
This is the second time I have stayed here. It is a nice hotel for the price and they breakfast is very good. The staff was friendly and was able to get me a room in the middle of the day so I could work a little before I attended my afternoon meeting.
The staff is always very helpful and attentive.. I enjoy staying here everytime...Breakfast is always good and hot...The kitchen staff was attentive on what needed to be restocked and hot and ready for the crowd...Nice hotel by far the best I've stayed at so far.
We received a smoking room which was the only room available, due to late check-in. Unfortunately, the room was saturated with smoke to the point that it was in my clothes and everything had to be washed. That being said, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very nice, coffee very fresh, and room extremely clean. The mattress was not so great as it sagged in the middle. The hotel was quiet. The price was very affordable. Mixed review. It would be a higher review had the mattress not been saggy in the center.
A complete disaster from start to finish. Reservation was not recorded. I have mobility issues and the only room available was very far from breafast room. Overall uncaring staff offered excuses rather than solutions.
Superb room, and especially for the price. Recently updated, bed was comfortable, and heating/AC system were perfect. We were able to adjust the temperature to our liking which is extremely difficult at many hotels. We stayed there for a week while visiting our son and will definitely be back!
Was here with Wife and Daughter. Cute, newly renovated hotel. (cute was wifes word) Nice breakfast, Quiet lobby and hallways. Great staff on duty as the night woman who checked me in was a dear and the gentleman at front desk Matt was a great help the following morning. Frequent this area quite often and this will be our place of stay when in town.
Newly renovated. Very clean, even corners and baseboards dusted. The staff was very friendly, and even helped with a personal problem when we arrived. Breakfast was a good selection. It had some healthy choices with fruits, and your typical waffles, breads etc. They offer almond milk. Very nice stay. My bed was comfortable, and no issues. I will stay again if in the area. It was nicer than our friend's hotel who paid double the money.
My husband & I spent the weekend in Naperville. It is a clean, & pretty city.. So many different places to shop.. You can definitely buy just about anything... Also a hugh select of great restaurants, & cool places to eat. Best Western was a nice place to spend the night. Great Breakfast in the morning too!! Front desk is so welcoming!! We will be back..
My girlfriend and I recently planned a small weekend getaway for our anniversary. We recently stayed at the best western Naperville inn and everything about this hotel was amazing to the awesome hospitality and very friendly staff. If your looking for a small getaway this is the perfect place to stay with everything you need within the radius of the hotel and for a good fair price.
Normally I don't take the time to write a review unless service is extremely bad but that's not fair to the most excellent service hotels, restaurants etc. I'm not alone at this bc we're all busy. But I felt compelled to write a thoroughly glowing review here because they deserve it. Can't say enough about the staff, in particular Ms. Althea. Always gracious and with a wealth of knowledge about her business, never without a smile or a quick way to solve any issues, her staff follows her example to offer great service. They're all just amazing at what they do!! At a moment's notice they can accommodate requests like rollaway beds, late checkout, any toiletry you forgot to pack, as well as immediate housekeeping or maintenance needs, are all very competent and friendly as they do so. I cannot find any fault with this hotel! They have a 24 HR fitness room and a laundry onsite. Best Western Naperville has provided me with 8 free nights in December alone, and 2 so far in 2018! 2 minutes from I-88, bus stops across the street, 5 minutes from Naperville's River walk where people can always be seen walking around even in below zero temps to get to great shopping like Ann Taylor & the Gap along with great dining like Hugo's/Rosebud/Morton's, & live music at Ballydoyle. The hot breakfast bar provides eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles along with Dublin Donuts (staff can attest these are my faves!) & the typical items like bagels, toast and cereals. I strongly encourage creating an account for Best Western Rewards program. Totally free, not only so you get non-expiring points, but you also get nightly rates online as a member that cannot be matched online or in person at the desk. It's really worth it even for casual travel, as infrequently as I stay here.
This room is very centrally located with easy access to any stores you may need. They have awesome tubs in their King rooms. Suggest staying here. Rooms are clean and nicely updated and the staff is very friendly.
My boyfriend and I have 7 children between the two of us, and needed a little weekend getaway. Best Western was close to home, a great value, the staff was amazing, it was beautiful and clean & the breakfast was a nice little treat in the morning!
We check in the front desk staff was very friendly we check in to a king room with a hot tub they have some very good rates the whole was has been remoleded very nice we stayed here for 5 days the room service came ever day and cleaned the room very good I left my sweet pants and t-shirt on the bed she folded my clothes and made the bed I was very happy one day I sleep in and the maid came back after 12:30 I thought was nice the shower has very good water pressure and some very hot hot water. I will be coming back to this hotel again.
I got a great deal on this location. Front desk is great! Though finding the hotel's phone on Expedia was impossible. Rooms are clean and comfy. The fridge in room was loud and so is the bathroom fan. Breakfast was cold. Then I found out they had omelets later. I was the only tip left in the jar. Most Best Westerns are great. So may be it is a bad day.
staff was very nice and approachable. i only wish that there was a better way to enter and exit. the complimentary breakfast is decent but i think there should be a little more variety and a little more accommodating to gluten sensitivity as well.
The front desk folks are super friendly and helpful - I had to check in at the last minute after switching some travel plans and they accommodated me and offered a great low price. The room was clean and "ok" in terms of comfort. No complaints. But also no "wow!" factor. Just satisfying. No more. No less. The one issue I did have was downstairs in the lobby and dining area. They seemed to endlessly be cleaning with what smelled like Pinesol. If you like that - you'll love this place. Personally, I'm sensitive to chemicals and smells, so it really triggered my allergies.
I really got my money's worth. From the time of my arrival until I left, I didn't encounter any problems. The lady my wife and I met at the counter was very courteous and helpful. The rest of the staff turned out to be equally reliable.
This is a very comfortable hotel in a good location. The check-in/out area is welcoming as is the staff. The breakfast has good variety of items with a hot dish that varies daily. This was my fourth stay at this hotel, and I'll stay there on my next trip to Naperville/Lisle.
The Naperville Best Western has recently remodeled both interior and exterior with bright and attractive style furnishings. The desk staff is very friendly and helpful even at night or early morning arrival. The rooms are very attractive, clean and quiet. We've stayed here for years, sometimes for several days and appreciate the microwaves and refrigerators.
This was a wonderful location to stay. Shopping of all kinds is within a 20 minute drive as are many excellent restaurants. The staff was outstanding.. Very friendly, curteous and helpful especially since we have not stayed in Naperville before. We went to relax, shop and enjoy some great food. Perfect people and room accommodations
Clean room, hard mattress, old straight shower bar for the tub (I prefer the newer bowed bar so the shower curtain doesn't stick to me), helpful staff when I requested information, Wi-Fi kicks on and off but it was usable.
This hotel was just recently remodeled. It is beautiful! We love the new rooms and the nice lobby. Free papers and a great breakfast add to the amenities. The staff is very accommodating. With a location really close to the highway, this hotel is a great place to stop for the evening. The price is very good also.
Location is great, price is great and recent remodel has really make this hard to beat in this area. A number of good restaurants close by as well as needed shopping facilities.Staff very helpful and room décor is fine a-s is the cleanliness. Breakfast is adequate.
We wanted to spend a few extra days in the Chicago area prior to a meeting with out the expense of more days in a downtown hotel. On the advice of a friend we chose the Best Western Naperville Inn. It was a good choice. We arrived via Amtrak, so were without a car. Hotel staff arranged a taxi for us at a flat fare to get to the hotel, and provided good advice on restaurants, of which several are within walking distance of the hotel. There is also bus service nearby to get to the train station or the downtown area. Breakfast was quite good and the staff was very attentive, keeping the buffet stocked and the tables clean, much better than most places we have stayed. It is clean and quiet, and everything in the room was in good working order.
It smells new, it looks new, and you feel like royalty. I'm not kidding! The staff is really friendly and very attentive. Do you like breakfast? I've never seen a better spread at a hotel. Bacon? Did someone say bacon? Waffle maker, pancake maker, bacon (mmm.. bacon...), eggs...cereal, yogurt, muffins, donuts...yes, I said donuts, and not the individually wrapped kind. Very nice place, easy to get to, right off of IL-88. Convenient, quiet, and cozy. Enjoy it!
Excellent location. Stores and restaurants were close by. Interstates nearby. Likes the places we could jog. Great breakfast selections and quality. Plan on going back if in the area again. You need to try the place!
Unlike Comfort Inn, Red Roof, and others in this price range, Best Western takes the preferences of non-smokers seriously! Thank you Best Western Naperville! (Trip Advisor itself, however, is not at all helpful!)
Great value for the location. Continental breakfast was better than expected. Room was adequate. Hallway noise was minimal. Staff was courteous. The bathroom was substandard for cleanliness, but minutes after reporting it the staff took care of it.
I have stayed at the hotel in Naperville twice. Both times we had problems with the key cards. This time we found the room not to be as clean as it should. I reported the problem the first night but the next day no change. Otherwise, beds were comfortable, breakfast was great and they have very spacious rooms which was a plus due to having our pet with us.
While it is dated, the rooms are comfortable, clean, and the staff are superb. There are plenty of outlets for electronic gear. The hot breakfast is very well done, they should include fresh fruit. The breakfast staff are very helpful, as is the rest of the staff.
The manager took time out to talk with me about online services and the vantage of calling best western directly. I appreciated his counsel as that had a bad experience with an online service. Another staff member was helpful with restaurant recommendations in the local area.
My wife and I have stayed here several times on our way to Indiana. We have ALWAYS enjoyed the accommodations, amenities, service and friendly clientele. This is our “go to” destination for motel accommodations in Naperville. Russ & Andrea Eigen, MN
Great staff and great location location close to the expressway. The hotel shares a parking lot with the best Chinese restaurant in the Chicago area. Walking distance to CVS Drugstore and across the street is Buena Beef serving good "Chicago food." The hotel room was not grest but it was a 85 90% because of caulking in bathroom.
This was the first stop on my route home and it is perfectly situated to may my travels easier. Easy access to local restaurants and close to the I-88 made this part of the trip easier. The staff was friendly and attentive!
Perfect for what we needed. Close to our family and family's school. Great value for the price range. Wonderful quality for the price range. Staff was very accommodating and attentive. I usually worry about quality and cleanliness at this price point but bed, bathroom, fridge and microwave we all top notch.
We used to live in Naperville, IL and have never stayed at the Best Western in Naperville before. The BW has been there for over 30 years so we weren't sure what to expect but since they allow pets, and the price appeared to be very competitive, we decided to give it a try. We were glad we did. The hotel public spaces and the rooms have all been recently remodeled so it's almost like a brand new hotel. The morning breakfast was very good. The front desk staff were very helpful and personable. We would most likely stay at the BW again when we come back to Naperville.
Easy check in, overall a nice stay. Two queen beds were really two full size beds. Very small! Room was also small but for one night it was perfect. Breakfast wasn't the best but not the worst. Dogs are allowed. Parking was close to room but had to go into building and down a hallway with all of the luggage.
Training class for my job. Through the union that I am affiliated with in Postal service. There is no more for me to say in regards to my stay at the Best Western in Naperville, Illinois. Great visit.
Very nice hotel. Clean rooms and nice breakfast. Very satisfied with the price per night stay. Would stay there again and recommend to others. Rooms were very quiet did not hear any noise from other rooms or from the outside.
I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care I received at this particular branch of Best Western Motel. I was on business trip in your area , and I wanted it to be perfect for my planed meetings with Verizon . Your staff did not disappoint me, even housekeeping was great too. I have decided to stay with you again on my next revisit in the area. Keep up good work and congratulate your entire staff and pass on my personal THANKS to each and every one.
Nicely updated rooms. I have stayed here before. The new rooms and quiet air conditioning were a nice improvement. Hot breakfast downstairs was convenient. Great Chinese restaurant was next door. I would stay there again. FedEx and Starbucks were not far away, too.
I change room four times in four days when I finally found the perfect room they told me I couldn't have it because someone else needed the room and it reserved one of the room smell like the bed had been Peed inThe breakfast is pretty good and the staff is friendly
Nice value. Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Many amenities and food options near by. Quite, clean and nicely appointed rooms. Lobby is small and breakfast room is mid-sized. Elevator is very slow but stairs are available.
Staff is quick to make sure your accommodations are met. My room was not fully cleaned and the receptionist quickly changed my room which was extremely clean. I was pleased with the breakfast as well.
Given its good ratings, we reserved a room at the Best Western Naperville and asked for a quiet location which the staffed honored by giving us a room at the back of the hotel. Even though the hotel is situated between several busy roads, our room was quiet, clean, and furnished in standard hotel fare. However, even when set on High Cool, the air conditioner put out tepid air at best --- it was far cooler in the hallway than in our room. However, the big surprise was the noisy bed. As if balanced on rusted springs, the bed made a loud sound whenever you sat on it, and likewise, whenever you twisted and turned during the night. I spent more time throwing off covers in an attempt to get cooler and trying to keep the bed from creaking (so that it wouldn't wake up my husband) than I did sleeping. Our experience may be a fluke, an exception for this hotel, but I wouldn't want to take a chance of losing sleep by a repeat visit.
I am a returning customer. I was amazed by the remodel. The facility is gorgeous!. The rooms are always clean. Never an issue. The breakfast is good. However the key is to get up early to avoid the rush and overcrowding in the dining area. The rewards program is a smart marketing tool that will be utilized by returning customers such as myself. Thank you for everything. See you in October!
I was passing through town and stopped in at the Hotel. These are the nicest people. The service is excellent and they went above and beyond with giving me directions and food suggestions. The little blonde lady behind the counter had me laughing in stiches!! Thank You for a great stay! Plus the hotel looks completely remodeled!
I stayed for 3 days, water problem in the bathroom, room was not cleaned well, lot's of noise outside the room, reported all the issues to front desk and no one is ready to take necessary action, I won't recommend this hotel for any one.
I shopped hotels in the Naperville area for price and value for a 2 night stay. Cleanliness was my top priority, and this property did not disappoint. After reading reviews, I selected the Best Western. The rooms were spacious and newly remodeled, and everything felt fresh about the property. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were good, and the TV was a larger screen. It was a combination of interior/exterior corridor, and we had an exterior pet friendly room which had the vinyl "wood plank" floor (clean!) covering. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us use of the breakfast area for carrying in dinner and visiting (we had 5 rooms with family). Everyone in my group commented about how nice the rooms were, and how clean everything was. I cannot think of one negative experience with our visit. It was that good. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others as well.
We booked this hotel before attending a wedding. The interior renovations were complete & they were starting on the exterior. There were just little things that wouldn't work like the Wi-Fi, not good picture on some TV channels, and the bath tub stopper was broken. On the good side, my wife & mother-in-law loved the modern looking interior and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Best of all, the price was much cheaper than other hotels in the area and despite the things mentioned above, it was a good stay. I would seriously consider this hotel if I stayed in this area again.
I had requested early check-in. I know that cannot be guaranteed, so when I arrived about 11:00 AM I asked if early check-in was available for the room I'd reserved. After a lengthy conversation, all in rapid-fire Spanish with a man dressed in coveralls standing near the desk, who looked at me then gestured me away impatiently, the desk clerk said they were just starting to service the floor my room was on. I could have a room at noon. Fine. I returned at noon and checked. This time the desk clerk made a phone call (I assume to Housekeeping) and again after a lengthy Spanish conversation I was told "12:30." At 1:30, informed of yet another delay, I canceled my reservation and went to a nearby hotel where I got right in. In the past, the management at the desk was well trained and had excellent customer service skills. The staff did an excellent job. This trip, however, I did not recognize anyone from previous stays and I assumed ownership and/or management changed hands. The whole atmosphere was that of "herding cats." In the Best Western's defense, they were advertising on their outdoor sign for housekeeping help. They may have been badly understaffed. Regardless, there are many hotels in that area. The Best Western Naperville Inn has been permanently removed from my list of places to stay when in the Naperville area.
BW hotel provides all that is needed to enjoy a nice stay at a good price. It is all clean, quiet, secure and confortable. Complementary breakfast is a welcome addition to being guest at BW. Rooms are really nice and confortable. Parking is a charm and secure. BW is definitely a very good pick in the Naperville area.
This was a great place that is doing some upgrades. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again. They are close to food and to the interstate. The Jr. suite is an amazing room to get for a great rate.
This was the worst hotel I have ever been to I might never stay at a Nother best Western because of this hotel. The manager just respected my wishes. The AC did not work the room was at 82°. They also charge me extra money for staying two hours over leave time
So I guess my old review got deleted because maybe it hurt someones feelings? PLEASE save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else. I might be hindered in explaining what exactly happened because last time it got deleted. They completely screwed me over as I tried to block rooms for my wedding. If you need to block rooms for a wedding or event I suggest you go elsewhere. They are EXTREMELY unprofessional Mary Pat literally said "I can't talk to you right now" and turned her back to my mom when she was confronted. They blame each other when something goes wrong and won't take responsibility for their own mistakes and actions. Save yourself the torture and book somewhere else.
I made a reservation 1 week ahead of time for a jacuzzi room. I requested check in at 130pm on my arrival day. I called 2 days prior to make sure I could do that. They said call the morning of and we can tell you for sure. I called the morning of and was told one min they would check with housekeeping he came back on and said yes come anytime it will be ready. I was coming from over an hour away and got there at 2pm the lady behind the desk tells me we never tell people they can check in early as if I was lying. she proceeds to tell me the room isnt ready have a seat. Angrily took a seat and tried to remain calm. I made this reservation through Best Western website. About half hour goes by a man comes to me and asks if I waiting for the jacuzzi room I said yeshe walk over to the lady and tells her its ready well by this time there 4 people trying to check in and phones ringing off the hook. After 10 she checks me in and tells me to go around the building. I said is this room on the outside??well sure enough. I go to the room walk in and its not only hot but smells like paint terribly. also this was definitely the room I chose online. I was tired of complaining stayed for a few hours and left. I am terribly disappointed that I spent all this money 149.00 and it was a nightmare. Never again. I dont reccommend this hotel at all.
Hotel is actually pretty decent. Room was nice, but it was the end of July and AC was left off and then to top it off the AC we had was too old to cool down a ridiculously hot room. In addition this is the only Best Western I have ever been in with no pool which was a bummer, but something I should have figured out before we booked.
I believe this hotel was recently renovated, but still not up to par when compared to the Bolingbrook Holiday Inn. We did, however, get a complimentary breakfast. The bagels were the best part. Nice that there was a refrigerator in the room w/o having to ask for one. In the evenings, it's difficult to figure out how to get into the hotel's parking lot...dark and not well lit.
The renovations on the building are beautiful. Refreshing colors. Much better than the last Best Western I was in. Everything was brown. Very dark & very boring. My room was done in shades of blue. Very nice stay!
I stayed here on a couple's get away weekend and I liked my stay here better than when I stayed at higher ranked hotels. Great price for such a nice room. Very impressed and will definitely stay again.
We were here for a wedding. Few other friends/relatives were also staying here. We were very happy with our stay. We liked the decor, room furnishings, breakfast... The staff was cordial, and helpful. Will stay here again when we come this way
We had two rooms on the third floor, which looked like everything was upgraded and cleaned. We loved the experienced that we had at the Best Western. Since we stayed multiple days we got to enjoyed the difference breakfast provided and they were all good but our favorite was the bacon. We do want to give a special thanks to the following people in the hotel for making our stay an awesome stay from day one to the end. From the FD Araceli, From Housekeeping dept. Ramiro, Maribel, Esmeralda, and Matty. They put a 150% to make the Best Western a great place to stay. Our family would return in the future if the need arises. The only negative about our stay was the carpet being dirty, house keeper vacuumed the room but it was still dirty so the carpet needs a deep cleaning.
All aspects of this hotel are either good or excellent. Some minor items such as broken TV remote and blinking smoke alarm, I think the custodial staff should notice. Perhaps need to increase staff size so they can be less rushed? My only real complaint - which is not the hotel's fault - is that it is very difficult to exit this hotel to travel north. Having said all that, I would stay here again.
Friendly, professional staff. Exterior looks are deceiving. Interior is all freshly updated, contemporary, and nice. Had a little issue with the A/C unit, but still enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed Naperville.
We were on family vacation and arriving late after a VERY long day of driving. The Inn was very clean and the front desk staff very polite. However, once we got to our room, we found out the A/C was shut off and the temp in the room was over 85°. We cranked A/C wall unit up as far as it would go, but even after an hour, it was still sweltering in the room with little air movement. We seriously contemplated moving to another room, but we were exhausted and decided to just make the best of it. We even opened the windows just to get the air moving as the outside temp dipped into the 70s. As it was, the room was still hot and uncomfortable all night, as the older unit just couldn't keep up with the heat in the room. None of us slept well. The Inn had just been recently remodeled, as you could see the walls, carpet, bedding, etc. were all new. But as I've noticed with the last 3 Best Westerns I've stayed in, even though the trend is to update and modernize a lot of hotels, there seems to be a lot of "prettying up" but by doing cost-cutting at the customer expense. WHY had the air been off all day in July? To save money? For instance, we had 3 people in the room, but only 2 bath towels. Also only shampoo/conditioner was a combo bottle where the label was worn, like it had been tossed from room to room. The beds were also double beds, which probably was what the room had before, but you could have fit 2 Queens in there, which would fit most customers' taste better. I'm not trying to be completely negative, but it seems like Best Westerns are now becoming the new lower-end hotels instead of moving towards the middle where they used to be years ago. Anyway, I think I'm done staying with them and instead will stay at places with bigger beds, bigger rooms and updated heating and A/C. Not a good experience the last couple of times.
Wonderful staff and service! Everything was nice, clean, and orderly! Staff was quite fast about getting things done that needed to be done! The water for showering was hot and the water pressure was just as good!
The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with a variety of sausage/bacon,pancakes,waffles,fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal, oatmeal, coffee and juice. The staff did not close the breakfast bar at 9 even though it was the ending time. They instead were considerate of those still coming in and wanting a bite to eat after a late night. It was much appreciated and very clean
My wife and I were staying in Naperville visiting family and we elected to stay at this hotel since it was inexpensive and close to where they lived. I have no serious complaints about this hotel. Location is good, close to major highways and roads, and not far from downtown Naperville; if one is visiting the Naperville area it is convenient. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious with a comfortable king-sized bed, the linens were comfortable and clean as well. The staff were friendly and very helpful, even giving us a sewing kit when we desperately needed one. The fitness room while small is also well kept with functioning equipment and is available 24/7. Included breakfast is served in a nice room with a few good selections including a waffle maker, eggs, bacon, cereals, etc. all interiors of the hotel are clean and bright, they have seemed to be recently renovated. The only complaints I have a not major as stated earlier but are notable. The bathroom in our room, while clean, is showing its age and could use a renovation. Also, the exterior of the hotel is nothing to write home about, it was obviously built in the 60's and is showing its age, not gracefully mind you. One will not stay here because for the beauty of the hotel. Overall, we were happy with our stay here and recommend it if you are staying in the Naperville area and don't mind how the hotel looks like from the outside.
Hotel exterior was a bit run down looking.... definitely an older building. Beautiful lobby and friendly staff. Check in and check out were a breeze. Room was very basic in both size and decor. Nothing very fancy. Had a jacuzzi suite, but the jacuzzi was not as powerful as most Best Western jacuzzi suites are. It was more like a large bathtub. The bed was squeaky and had a tilt to it. However, the room was very clean.
Rooms need to be better, beds need to GO . Housekeeping supervisor needs to better check the rooms when they're suppose to be "clean" . Staff was nice . Lobby/fitness center/breakfast area were very nice compared to the rooms .
The rooms look freshly remodeled, with modern style furnishings and redone bathrooms. No carpet - all hardwood or laminate wood lookalike. Spacious and comfortable My ground floor room was very quiet, and it was nice to be able to park my car right in front of my room making load/unload a snap. The breakfast was pretty good with a decent selection of items including the usual waffle maker and a mini-pancake maker. The big drawback was the useless wi-fi - connection was easy, but it was so slow it could barely load its own welcome pages and my device's weather apps couldn't pull enough data to update. I called the front desk and they offered no help whatsoever - they claimed no one else was reported a problem and left it at that. So I said I'd be the first and resorted to mobile data. The wi-fi didn't get any better the next day. The lack of responsiveness and the lack of appearance of wanting to help was a bigger negative to me than the actual performance of the wi-fi. If you walk around from this motel, note that there is a Motel 6 next door that has a surprisingly similar appearance to this one. I returned from a walk only to accidentally go to the Motel 6 instead, and when I saw the crowd there (it was packed) I started having regrets as to my choice of lodging. To my relief I figured it out and went to the right property, which appeared far less crowded (and less boisterous.) Value is good if you don't need wi-fi, though I'm sure they'll fix it before too long if it hasn't been done already.
When I was shopping around for hotels in the area, I always check Best Western hotels as I am an elite member and the hotels are usually consistent. Fortunately, I found the one in Naperville as this area is particularly expensive. For the most part it was a good value for the money but after traveling on I-40, 25 and 80 before Chicago, I was in somewhat sticker shock at how high the same quality of hotel is compared to its counterparts in Cheyenne, WY and Santa Fe, NM. At each of these properties, the price was excellent, the accommodation taxes affordable and the quality of the room and breakfast were outstanding. At this property the breakfast and room were ok and more typical of some of the other more average properties. Having said that, however, the stay was comfortable and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was adequate offering the usual fare. A good value for the money given its location. One side note: as an elite member, I was dismayed to hear that one either got a gift package or points as opposed to in the past that we would get both...not a very good change in the Best Western corporate policy rewards program.
This is a very comfortable hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is nothing flashy but very clean and well kept. I felt like the healthy breakfast options were limited but I managed. I would stay in this hotel again.
Room is clean and the appliances work. Internet is slow. Key card did not work but was taken care of easily and quickly. Bed is comfortable and AC works well. Not happy with sound proofing as you are able to hear next room noise.
This Best Western was very nice for our family road trip to our friends' wedding. The management gave our two parties (which had shared a minivan across seven states,) rooms next to one another, which made things so much easier, and after our long hours of driving, we found the hotel clean, pleasant and with lovely comfy beds. It was in a nice location for our purposes and everyone was so kind. They even had our toddler's favorite cereal at the complimentary breakfast, and I loved that they had a little microwave and mini-fridge combination in each room; just the thing for a road-tripping family. We'll probably stay here again next time our friends out that way have an event, it was that nice for us.
My room was clean and comfortable and very quite despite the busy street outside. Breakfast was great, they kept everything well stocked even past the closing time. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. I was visiting a friend near by and was recommended to stay here. The location was convienent with plenty of parking.
newly remodeled and it is clean, updated, friendly, and a great value compared to other hotels in the area. I don't always stay at Best Westerns when I travel but this one is convenient, clean, and the staff are usually all very accommodating.
The Best Western Naperville Inn is open while being renovated. The renovations had minimal impact on our stay. Check-In and Check-Out were a breeze. We had family in multiple rooms--all were spotless and well-maintained during our stay. One of our cousins came in on Amtrak and we picked her up at the Naperville train station instead of traveling downtown to Chicago. And the room rate was great. My bride always reminds me that we just want a place to sleep and shower--we dont want to buy the place! Breakfast was very good and the coffee was hot 24/7. A plethora of shopping and restaurants nearby.
nice clean hotel good people, near many resterants and activties..great breakfast, just a nice place to stay. cable tv.,internet,work-out room. 20 miles from down town chicago and very close to train station.
Ive stayed here every 2 weeks for the last 2yrs. Can count on 1 hand the amount of SMALL issues which says a lot considering how much I stay here. When I first started coming to the area I used the Hilton down the road, it was sold out one day and after that one stay at the Best Western I never went back to the local Hilton.
This is a good hotel when looking for an affordable place to stay for a weekend in Chicago, nice neighborhood, easy access to Chicago and other areas. Hotel is nice and quiet, free breakfast and parking.
They are in the process of remodeling. But even with that it was pretty clean. They had signs up regarding the remodeling . Happy that they are trying to make it more modern. I would definitely stay there again.
We've stayed in Naperville several times in various hotels. This BW is reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and in a very good location. They've been renovating for some months and we've enjoyed the improvements.
Last week I was on a bus trip with a 2 night stay here. The carpeting was removed in front of our room and the floor was sticky, due to remodeling that was supposed to be finished when we arrived. Because of a number of bad miscommunications, we found we were without a room for our second night, when we returned at 10:00 that night. We were not allowed to go to our room to retrieve our things as they had already been removed by the hotel management and placed in a storage room. We were all upset that our things had been gone through and a number of our members were even more upset, worried that their medical needs were not accounted for. After reloading the bus, we had to unload again at a hotel down the street that was kind enough to accommodate us. I hope the next bus load of seniors receive better treatment.
Stayed here one night and they were under renovation but our rooms were all done and very nice. The renovations did not bother us. Breakfast was great. Free WiFi available. Convenient location to many restaurants, etc.
Thank goodness I only had to stay one night. The first room we checked in to wreaked of smoke and we asked to get another room. This room also smelled like smoke but not nearly as bad as the first room. We had a room with an outside entrance to the parking lot. There were huge gaps between the door and door jam. The door hardly stayed closed and I hardly slept due to wondering if we were safe due to the door being wobbly. I think the room was remodeled but everything in the room was basically painted over and ceramic tile and newer comforters but old broken heater/ AC unit.
Decent hotel. I'm pretty easy to please. However I was placed in a smoking room and the construction during my stay was pretty crazy. The makeover in progress looks good but it was a pain to walk through all the dust. Also please make smoking rooms no longer a "thing". Its 2017 and I'm ok with people smoking. But not in a hotel!!!!!
When I checked in they told me there is only smoking room available, I got shocked at the beginning, they took me in the room and was smelling so bad. Then the manager Syed gave me another room. I appreciate that.
We stayed at this hotel for one night visiting family in Naperville. The staff member at check-in was friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is currently going through renovations, the hotel was upfront and apologetic and we were not at all affected by the renovations. The breakfast was fine for our needs. Upon check-in we were told that we received an "upgrade" to a junior suite. The room was very spacious but was located across the hall from the ice machine and had two doors connecting to both adjoining rooms. We could clearly hear the occasional "crash" of ice in buckets as well as clear conversations and other noises coming from both rooms. The sounds weren't enough for us to contact anyone at the hotel but certainly the sound from the other rooms were awkward to say the least. We would stay again but would hope for a room with solid walls instead of adjoining doors.
Nice hotel but may be in need of an update to what many of the other Best Western hotels have gone to. Bed was comfortable. Was lucky enough to get one of the few rooms that were located inside. Always prefer that option.
We have spent two nights here on personal visit in Naperville, here everything was excellent, and was close to the location. The room was excellent and comfortable. I would definitely recomend to others planning personal and business trip to Naperville IL
My room was very good and the service was great. I had to book a room last minute and they were more than accommodating at a great price. I will definitely stay there again. It was nice that you get a free breakfast. When traveling on business you usually don't have time to go out for breakfast.
I appreciate all the details the staff have thought of in stocking the rooms and setting out the breakfast. There were more options at breakfast than I've seen, and I appreciated seeing the yogurt and cream cheese kept in a fridge, rather than sitting out to get warm. The fridge and microwave in the room were great, and the staff are eager to help with any problem, so do ask if anything is missing. (I thought the blackout curtains didn't close all the way, but I was trying to close the decorative panels. The blackout curtains are inside the sheers, easy to miss.) The new renovation gives it a very nice appearance.
This is my second stay in just over six months. The hotel is conveniently located, with plenty of restaurants and other businesses nearby. Nothing fancy, but helpful caring staff, clean, freshly redecorated rooms, a good hot shower and a good night's sleep.
This motel is located very close to I-88 at Naperville Road exit. Rooms are clean, comfortable and offer usual amenities. Hot breakfast included with reasonable cost of rooms. Comfortable bed. Close to many sightseeing locations. Friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.
Cleanliness problem. Toilet overflow. Room smells. The same price hotels are much better. Owner just wanted to earn money and do not want to make it clean. We were group of people rented few rooms all have same problem. Would not recommend this hotel.
If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to lay your head in Naperville, this is the place. All areas were clean, staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was better than other hotels in this range. Will stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel for one night one a business trip to the Chicago area. The hotel is undergoing renovations. The lobby, breakfast area and work out room have all been updated. The room still felt a little dated, though it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was fine-- waffles, pancakes, egg and bacon patties (yes, patties), bread products and cold cereal were offered on the morning of my stay. For the cost, it was a good experience. However, if I travel alone again, I may choose a different hotel.
Best Western - is Simply the best and simple, and the breakfast and all minimum required necessities without excess are very well organized and yet economical Nice locality and friendly service and quick response to all the calls.
I stay in Best Western hotels because I always have a good stay. This is the first one I would not return too. The guy at the registration desk were nice. My suite had a mixture of lighting. The lady working in the breakfast area were very unpleasant. The next day I needed extra towels. I went to the front desk the gentleman informed me I could get what I needed from "house keeping" on my floor. That lady begin to say she needs the towels for the rooms she have to clean. Understand you never tell a customer about your workload when they have already paid in full for the amenities that comes along with the reservation. This is my 1st BW I will not return to.
First when I arrived to hotel they gave me a room that seemed to be reserved already. I tried and tried my keycard many times and finally someone shouted from room that it's occupied already. They gave me another room. Bed was good and room ok size. Heater and bathroom air circulator are very loud. Maybe week later when I came from work to hotel I noticed that my door was left open. Luckily everything was still in place. I told immediately to front desk that what has happened. No apologies or anything. I also sent mail to hotel --?no answer. Towels have holes and stains which is not acceptable.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in early November 2016. I had neglected to make my reservation for the 2 nights and thought "oh no" when the desk clerk said we were only booked for one night. I checked my print-out and sure enough it was only for one night. She said they were very booked up, but she managed to find another room for us for the next night so we were very grateful. It was the weekend of the Chicago Cubs victory, so likely every hotel was booked up! The hotel is clean. The room is comfortable, as is the bed. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was tasty with sausage and scrambled eggs as the hot meal, with bacon and eggs the next morning. Also there was the usual cereals, bagels, bread, donuts, fresh fruit, juices, etc. The coffee was good. We liked the location as there were several restaurants close by and it was close to the interstate highways. All in all we had a great stay at the Best Western Naperville Inn and would recommend it to anyone!
Nice clean hotel. Rooms are small, bathroom very small, but for just one night, perfectly fine. Nice breakfast in the morning. They do turn off machines at 9am though. Rooms are small, but adequate. Location is great.
My daughter and I stayed several days in July. It was very affordable. The staff was courteous and friendly. The food for breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. And the location was very accessible. Overall Best Western in Naperville made our trip.
Easy to recommend Best Western Naperville, IL - Quality in every area - Best value for the dollar any where. We do not need 200 hundred words to describe the unusual high standards for Best Western Naperville. I wish all my business trips were has comfortable as this. Today we pay extreme prices for most name brand hotels with not near the service we hade at the Best Western Naperville, IL. I have been traveling across the united states and foreign countries for over 38 years and have stayed at the most expense to the lest expensive. When business people travel to Naperville, IL they have one choice for Quality and value - Best Western.
Very clean hotel at very affordable price! Lucky to have booked earlier before i ran out of rooms. The breakfast was excellent, the surroundings and staffs are great too! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who plans to go vacation. I guess Best Western really gives the best services to their customers. Loved this hotel! THE BEST!!!
Overall the hotel is acceptable. It prides itself on the cleanliness of the property ( although the exterior could certainly use some sprucing up. ) The rooms are indeed clean and the housekeeping staff is accommodating. The front desk personnel are efficient, yet not especially welcoming or at least not consistently so. Breakfast will take the edge off however you will need to understand it is pretty bare bones. The folks attending to it are very accommodating and do work hard to keep everything replenished. There have recently been updates made to the common areas which has made the ambiance a bit brighter. The fitness room is at the most just adequate for a qwick , lighter based work out. The location is great, convenient to amenities of the Napervill area.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good but want better quality of muffins and Bagels. Good location for going to places in Napperville. Easy parking.
Overall our stay here was pretty good. The only major problem was slow draining with the plumbing, but housekeeping came up and fixed it right away. CleAn rooms, friendly staff and very reasonable price.
The hotel is extremely clean, the staff are very nice and always accommodating. The continental breakfast is much more than the average continental breakfas. They offer a verity if foods, cereal, eggs, meats, waffels, yogurts etc..20 47coffee and tea..i used the gym every day. An exceptionally clean small gym with had brand new machines and clean towles every day. We got a special rate off priceline, what a steal! Worth every penny!
We came to visit the Home Alone Movie neighborhoods. So, we chose to stay here in Glenview. It has a nice location near where we wanted to visit. The Inn was nice and quiet. The rooms were fully stocked with linens and everything seemed clean. Would come again if we return to this area.
My husband and I had a very nice time at the Best Western Naperville, IL. We went to have a getaway weekend. All the places we went were within a 10-15 minutes car ride. Very nice time. Would return to this Hotel in the future.
toilet was not secured to floor. the door in bathroom had hole in it. main door stop was not secure. toilet was not clean . only three big towels and the main door would not shut tightly my husband had to put piece of cardboard in the door for it to shut right.
Met up with 4 other women for a girlfriend getaway, shopping, area sightseeing, and the Naperville Art Festival. Good location for that. Note most first floor rooms have exterior entry only. Breakfast, average selections, typical. However, the staff never wiped tables that I saw in the 3 mornings there. And it took quite a while for things to be refilled. Would say they need extra staff on busy days. The rooms were standard. My sheets were old, almost threadbare, and had unknown stains. Not wanting to "rock the boat" as I didn't make the arrangements, did not complain. But, felt perhaps those sheets had not been changed from previous customer. Made me uncomfortable. They definitely were not changed in the 3 nights I was there, but not unusual these days. Otherwise, standard, relatively clean, basic. Nothing special about this property.
Rooms felt a little small. Parking was limited. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast area was limited. I actually used the workout room, nice hardware. If you are coming to the area, watch for a sale and you should be fine.
Little disappointed this time. Staff is still incredibly friendly but sometimes, it's the little thing. My room was 3rd floor (as requested) and the hotel wasn't terribly crowded. I am not sure if it was full. But we couldn't get into the room. The front desk clerk tried and also couldn't get in. She couldn't reach the manager or the housekeeping repairman so she said, "You come get me when you want to get into your room, and I'll come let you in". REALLY? For $100/night, I have to be let into my room? Fortunately, before I had to leave, a man came and showed me I had to pull the door toward me and then turn the handle to get it to open. Seriously? You can't FIX the door? The next day, I get up early (6 am) - always do - and take my shower. It never occurred to me to check for towels since there were hand towels, wash cloths, and a lovely "sailboat" folded bath mat. After my shower, I reached for a bath towel and there were NONE. Nothing on the rack. So I dried best I could with a hand towel and dried my hair with the bath mat. When I told the front desk, there was a shrug and "Oh, you want me to send some up"? Well, no - I took my shower. I couldn't ask for towels since I needed them when I was wet. It was just a bit of a disappointment. This has been so reliable and loved this hotel. I hope it's better next time if we stay here since we are in Chicago several times a year. (Maybe they were too wrapped up in serving a US Senator and staff whose campaign bus was parked there for the day/night.)
We had a wedding in town and this Inn was close by. It is very clean and the staff were very helpful. The only problem with the room that I found was I prefer a different type of pillow. I also had trouble logging on the internet and the girl at the desk helped me right away. It has nicely updated rooms.
Would highly recommend you not stay at this hotel. The smell of mold is awful and the staff was less than helpful. It was by far the worst experience at a hotel we have ever had. I really think the rooms are a health hazard.
Had a King Sized Headboard fall on me at 12:30 am! That hurts! Problem is still awaiting a satisfactory resolve! My head hurts!!! I hope the property takes steps to ensure that this does not happen to other guests! I hope corporate responds to my concerns!
An older property with some updates, located near the main businesses in Naperville, and near to Interstate 88. No pool, just rooms. Staff is great. Good hot breakfast. Fitness and business centers. Reasonable value for your dollars.
We stayed at the BW for 4 nights while my daughter participated in a camp at Benedictine University. It was very convenient to the campus while also being close to many things to keep me occupied in between sessions. The rooms are not as updated as the lobby but still very clean. Breakfast was your normal fare with muffins, waffles, eggs and such. I was so glad that I double-checked our reservation a few days before because the price had dropped by $30 per night so I canceled and rebooked for a great savings! I would definitely stay there again if we return to camp next year.
We continue to enjoy staying at the Best Western Naperville Inn when visiting family & friends in the western Chicago suburbs. The lobby and breakfast areas have been renovated since our last visit in January. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. One of the best breakfast buffets anywhere.
The bathroom smelled like urine even when we tried to mask the smell. The air conditioner was really loud, which made it hard to sleep. They were working on the parking lot, which made us and 6 other cars to circle and not be able to find parking.
We picked this place as it was the highest rated hotel in our price range in the area and we weren't disappointed! The staff was very courteous, the rooms very clean and the service was very good. The room was great and we were able to sleep peacefully. The only slight problem we had was with the breakfast which was not great on some days. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the area.
Good place to stay after a tiring day at office/business. Been in Microtel inn in Quincy. I felt this place is also nice just like the one I stayed before. Nothing to complain during these 4 days stay.Overall a good experience.
Good location for my meetings, and close proximity to good restaurants, hot breakfast with decent coffee, spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff. I showed up early, and the manager called up to make sure my room was readied.
First, I was not greated as a Platinum BW rewards member, no upgrade. Bedding was dingy... worn and needs to be replaced. The entry door to the hotel was broken. Air Conditioner was noisy.- would not recommend for more than a 1 night stay...
Knew the price was on low end, but rooms not clean and smelled like smoke/other. Seemed to be a number of people loitering about parking lot and hotel entrance, some may have been guests but some were not... questionable.
Landed in Midway airport, all hotels in the area were booked due to conventions. This was an excellent hotel, staff was great and hotel was very very clean and comfortable. It is about a 45 minute drive to the airport and probably longer to the city.
Nice place, friendly staff, great breakfast. Good location in Naperville right off of highway. Shopping and dining nearby. (TripAdvisor requires 200 characters, so I'm just padding this out to satisfy them...)
We stayed one night and had a great experience. Room was clean and bathroom too. Great variety in breakfast that includes eggs bacon and donuts. Excellent staff. Location is about 35 minutes of Chicago. There are few restaurants near by. I would stay here again !
My wife and I cringed when we found out our hosts had booked us here. We had previous poor experiences with this brand and our initial fears did not disappoint. I'm was surprised by all the positive reviews, so I thought there was hope. Remembering that this is only is a budget hotel and you'll get what you pay for. If you're accustomed to staying in roadside motel style places you probably won't mind this place. With that in mind, it's probably one of Best Western's nicer property. However, the breakfast was gross and the breakfast room was extremely overcrowded. The donuts seemed to be their best feature, but we found a long hair inside of ours and never went back for more. Waffle makers, yogurt and fruit are probably available and safer options. We also found "hairs" in the bathroom floor and tub, so it's not as clean as people are saying in their reviews. They probably didn't look down. Cleaning staff here really needs to spend more time and effort on the rooms. We wanted to leave after first night, but hotel wouldn't give us a refund to cancel our second night. So,...we were stuck. No restaurants seemed to be in immediate walking distance, but plenty of options in a short drive around town. About 25 minute drive from O'Hare airport. The Wifi was sketchy at best. The price is the only thing bringing people in here. I won't be returning to this hotel, Ever.
Stayed here one night! Older property but clean rooms and a nice whirlpool bath! Bed and pillows comfortable! Quiet location in a business area that's extra nice if going on the weekend! No hallway noise or sounds from other rooms! Staff friendly! Priced right! Pet peeve for me is hotels that have wall heating and air units without thermostats. But is a minor issue and my unit ran quietly!
My wife and I stayed in the the Presidential Suite the night after our wedding, and it was perfect for it. (We even got a great deal on it with a group reservation.) The room is huge, the king bed is very comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub is great! The front desk clerk recommended the Chinese place next door for dinner (MingHin Cuisine) and we were very happy with that too - delicious food at a reasonable price.
We stayed on a weeknight. We found the staff very pleasant--from the people behind the desk and in the breakfast area, to those we passed in the halls. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite which was very spacious with nice furnishings and a decent price with the AAA discount. The room, tub and bathroom were clean with the added touch of a swan-folded towel by the jacuzzi. The breakfast had many options from yogurt to waffles and a variety of fruit toppings + eggs and sausage. We would stay again!
Excellent accommodations, convenience to highways, clean, Quiet at night although the motel was full over the holiday weekend. Continental breakfast was fresh, healthy, plentiful. Attendants were impressive in their keeping foods replenished. I was really pleased with all aspects of this experience, trusting my judgment to my faithful AAA tour book and then checking it out on line and making my reservation.
Very nice hotel to stay in, nice area, quick shopping if you forget anything. Prompt check in, my paperwork and room where ready when I arrived. Good Breakfast, I will definitely recommend this hotel.
Good continental breakfast. Rollaway bed uncomfortable, not really worth the extra $10/night. Quite a few good restaurants within walking distance. Clean. Room smelled peculiar, perhaps because the carpet was really old. Location was okay for what I needed, but inconvenient if you want to go to Chicago, unless you have a car. Wi-fi in room and lobby was good. There was also a small fitness center that I didn't use.
Stayed here for the third year in a row for business. Staff is great. Very convenient location. Hotel is clean. Best value in Naperville. Restaurants close by. The fitness room was clean and had a variety of equipment.
No complaints. Clean, a good sized room with a little fridge and microwave; very comfortable bed; a very nice and roomy bathroom; friendly desk staff; very well-located. A great place to stay outside of Chicago but with easy access to Chicago. Good rates too.
This was a very nice, clean hotel with very comfortable beds and a great alternative to the very expensive downtown Chicago hotels although it was farther out of the city than I thought. It took us between 25 and 35 minutes each time we went to the city. The free breakfast in the morning was very good and had lots of options. Make the time to go to downtown Naperville, it takes a bout 10 minutes but it is worth it, the river-walk is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants and shops. TIP- avoid the toll routes to get to downtown Chicago, it takes the same amount of time and you get to see some nice areas.
Prompt check in and check out. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Location was great since it was close to the meeting place. I gladly recommend this hotel for all family and freinds.
Good hotel / good breakfast / nice staff / location is not the best compare other hotels in this area i think this is a good place to stay. I was with my partner when I was out for my work there was not much todo in the area, hotel is missing a pool or a place to sit and read a book outside space enough but they don't have
overall, we had a great stay. The staff are what made this hotel so great. They did all they could to make our stay enjoyable and without hassles. The location was easy to find, and was walking distance to lots of stores and restaurants.
We were going to be in Downers Grove for our son's Bridging Ceremony for medical school and we have been staying in a different location but had terrible service last time (we were giving them another chance) so looked elsewhere. This is a renovated older hotel but they have done an excellent job. This place was immaculate. Our room was ready when expected and just as nice as the photos. The staff was wonderful as well. Not only were we warmly greeted when we arrived but every time we came and went the front desk were friendly. They were helpful with a couple of suggestions as well. We even witnessed the front desk associate assisting a lady who was having trouble with accessing her computer! Then the housekeeping staff were so friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile. We asked for a couple of extra pillows and they arrived in just a few minutes. Then the next day, when we returned to get ready for dinner, things had such an perfect touch. The housekeeper had made the pillows so pretty. She even folded the bath mat into a sailboat shape. Just little things that made us feel welcome. I had a nice chat with her the next day and, for the first time in the past few visits, I had to give her a tip directly (made sure SHE got it). The breakfast is similar to most hotels but this one included soy and almond milk, used Dunkin Donuts rather than grocery store or industrial, had a variety of things to choose from each day. We will definitely be staying here in the future as it's close to our son and his wife but also, if they continue to keep this type of service up, we may get spoiled!
Book this room because they accept Pets. We came into town for my husbands birthday. This hotel is close to everything, great restaurants in the area. Very helpful and pleasant stay. This was our seconded stay at this hotel. Will come back again.
I have stayed at this property several times and have always found it to be clean, well located with helpful staff. This last experience was truly worth mentioning. There was a problem with a duplicate reservation (error on my part) and I thought I had canceled both of them. I had not. A staff member called and asked if I was checking in and indicated I had been charged for the first night that I hadn't showed. I asked to discuss this with the manager who communicated quickly with me via email. He refunded my first night charge even though I had not canceled within their time frame. Many hotels will not do this. I was very grateful!
The staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, the location, and accepting CLC are all the reasons why I will keep this property as my #1 choice when working in Naperville area. It is always a pleasure checking into any Best Western, and this one is no exception. I will definitely see you again!
My husband was on a business trip and my son and I decided to tag along for a little mini vacation with him. The service was absolutely perfect! The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. We stayed for the week, and by day two almost everyone knew my 5 year old son by name, Mary Pat called him their #1 guest. Matty, who we mostly saw at breakfast, was especially caring and friendly. One day, my son had asked if they had any more donuts, and they did not. She asked him what kind of doughnut he wanted and he said he gave a very specific order. Every day after that, she would save him the exact donut he wanted and would bring it out when we came down. We did not ask for this, it was just something that she did to make my son feel special, among several other things, she was absolutely amazing, and my son loved her. He was so disappointed that lunch and dinner wasn't served there! Matty was definitely my son's favorite person, he even wrote her a thank you note! Everyone seemed to go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and more than comfortable, especially Matty, Mario, Angel, Mary Pat, Irma, Maria, Ramiro, and I'm sure there are more that I can't think of, really everyone was great. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was also very friendly, and if they saw us before cleaning would ask us if there was anything extra that we needed. The mini refrigerator in the room was also a very good size. I had absolutely no complaints and would love to stay again! I liked that they paid attention to even the smallest details. There was an exercise room, breakfast, nearby dining and shopping. There are museums for kids within 20 minutes (longer to go to museums in chicago), and an outlet mall. (I'm sure there is more, we just did the museum thing).
My family of 4 booked 2 adjoining rooms for NewYear's Eve while we partied at my best friends new house. This hotel was very nice, it's not a 5 star hotel but the rooms were nice and clean and very roomy, we had two double beds a table with 2 chairs and a sitting chair with ottom, refrigerator and microwave in each room resturant was right around the corner, location was easy to find. I would stay here again when in the area with my family again. Parking lot was nice size also as we parked 2 cars.
We stayed here passing through on our way to Wisconsin, very affordable and great room for the price. I was presently surprised hotel seemed very clean, staff was friendly and free breakfast was pretty good with a big variety. Woulf definitely stay here again if in the area.
We first chose this hotel because it is close to our daughter's house. It is very clean and comfortable. Less expensive than most other hotels in the area, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. There are lots of little touches that you'd expect in a more expensive hotel -- like folding the bathmat in the shape of a sailboat, and the washcloth like a bunny.
The inn was quiet, clean and comfortable. The two women that worked the desk, evening and morning, were very nice and very helpful. We were grateful for the help they gave us in connecting to the WiFi which was giving us a problem.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy. Would definitely come back again. Breakfast is simple but more than adequate for the rates I paid. My room was clean comfortable. Parking was well lit and adequate.
I travel extensively for business, this hotel offers me great value, at a great price, in a very good area. One of the best staffs of ay chain I stay with. I'll continue to stay with this BWNI as long as I travel to the greater Chicago area.
The lobby was under major construction so the check in desk was in the food/breakfast area. It was crowded. The breakfast foods ran out quickly and did not have much variety. Yucky eggs and sausage and waffles. After we ate, they brought out donuts:/ The price was good. No major issues and room was clean.
I stay here during my business trip in Wheaton area good value for money friendly staff , good restaurants in the area walking distance, better when you are there with a car breakfast was in my delays plastic trays and cups a bid basic but quality ok friendly staff.
This hotel was great for a quick overnight stay. The breakfast was nothing much to speak about, but the room was comfy and the staff were very nice. I don't know that I'd stay here for a long trip, but for overnight it was great.
Good, basic hotel. Not a lot of frills, but I've stayed here multiple times (my daughter attends college in Naperville) and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is so-so and limited in selection. Very convenient to downtown.
Have stayed several times at the Best Western Naperville Inn, and always considered it excellent based on those experiences. A couple hiccups this time: the elevator was out-of-service over the holiday weekend, so we opted for a 2nd floor room which seemed to smell of old cigarette smoke. Opening the window to let in fresh air made it more tolerable. Also an issue with the toilet "rocking". A call to the front desk resulted in a quick response from maintenance to tighten it. But overall, a great location & value for us. We'll plan on staying here again in the future, but will be sure to request a 3rd floor room. Good food choices & service in the breakfast room.
The rooms were clean, airy and specious. The hotel is located in a very quiet part of town and we slept very well. Comfy mattresses too! The free breakfast was rich and varied. We had a car and drove to explore Chicago from here.
Great Facility! We will definitely be back again. Friendly Staff, Very Clean Rooms, Awesome Christmas decorations and Amish décor overall. Fantastic breakfast buffet! Cannot think of one thing that needed any improvement!
My husband and I spent one night at this facility while having an early Christmas with family and friends in the area. The motel was clean and comfortable, close to dining and shopping, and best for us, pet friendly.
I have been staying here for 4 years now and have never been disappointed. Always welcomed with a friendly smile and efficient service. The beds are comfortable and my room is always immaculate. The breakfast which I normally don't eat at motels, I will eat here. Especially the DONUTS!!! Try to find another motel with donuts. And if I can get this to work; meet the greatest front desk clerk ever. Lynn.
Great location in Naperville for my purposes and affordable for the area. Everything as advertised, no problems, very quiet. Close to Interstate 88 and several large office buildings, easy to access, and reliable internet.
Clean room, quiet and very neat. We stayed in a jacuzzi room and received a great deal. Breakfast was continental but still very good. Overall experience was a plus! Its a little far but if you need to get away for a while this would be a good place.
Great Room with Jacuzzi. Breakfast was very good. Loved the eggs with cheese, sure beats the rubber eggs from other hotels. Nice location close to many restaurants and entertainment. Tub was Great!!!!
good place to stay to primium shopping outet, clean place, good breakfast for serve. The hotel is near the I-88 and convient to so many attractions, such as Broookfield zoo, the six flag center, the AMC movie center. Not long way to Woodfield mall, which is the biggest shopping mall in Chicago. The staffs of this hotel are always welcome and consideration. You can get the housekeeping everyday. The breakfast is okay and you can get hot sandwich and some drinks.
Booking of BW in general is very easy; That's always good for reservation in advance. The Naperville BW is next to the best choice we had -going to a gymnastic meet in Downers Grove and didn't have many choices there. Toiletry is always minimal so we are not surprise by only seeing one tube of hair wash combo and one bar of soap. But it's enough and good for the price. Room was clean and neat, no weird smell (pet rooms are on the first floor so I purposely called in for three 2nd floor rooms. Breakfast was good: enough choices for hot items. Breakfast area is neat and clean, with friendly staff.
Nice location, safe, semi busy but no noise heard. Our room was so sound proof, I thought no one was on either side of us. The area was so well manicured, clean, no cigarette smell. Plenty of parking, well lit parking lot. We had several places to walk our dogs.
thisbest western hotel is very clean and comfortable. great firm beds. great breakfast with large selections and 24 hour coffee what a deal. the front desk employees are helpful. highly recommend this place
The Naperville Best Western Hotel is a really good place to stay in Naperville. Reasonable priced with excellent service. The staff is always helpful, and accommodating. The location is convenient as well.
I'd prefer ... Sheets that didn't have holes or grit all over them. Towels that weren't stained or had shredding on the edges. A curved shower curtain rack so I didn't have to touch a curtain that touched goodness knows who. Fresh soap daily. A hallway that didn't smell like someone had been cooking. Breakfast that included hot items when the guests arrived ... eggs and sausage were deliverd 4/5 at a time with 20 minutes inbetween, ran out of pancake mix too. I travel alot and this just didn't make the grade. But the staff was great!
I stayed here during a Chicago show. It was very convenient and way more reasonable in price then other properties near Chicago. The property was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Marypat and Joyce really make you feel as if you are vising their very own home. I felt very welcome I will def. recommend this property to my relatives and I will def. be staying again when in the Chicago area. Great Hotel!
I was surprised and disappointed at the physical condition of my room and the general condition of the facility based upon my prior experiences and stays at Best Westerns throughout the country (USA)- Your Naperville facility did nor live up to the information and reviews I read on your web site.
Mario at the front desk was exceptional as the rest of the staff, all friendly and attentive. We stayed 6 nights, housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room replenished and in great shape. Often when u have an extended stay housekeeping slacks off but not at this hotel. PC with no cost print outs made our stay even better. Keep up the Good Work.
My wife and I stayed here for one night after driving in from West Michigan. Our GPS took us easily to the hotel. We checked in with out a problem. We had a whirlpool room that is located on the ground floor. We had to walk outside to a hallway that I think contained the whirlpool rooms. So our room opened into a hallway. Our room, 103 was a corner room. The room was clean and in good repair. All lights worked and the whirlpool worked fine. The only slight issue we had is that this room has a connecting inner door to the room next door. There were 2 gentleman staying in that room. There voices appeared quite loud and we could listen to their entire conversation. It really wasn't through the wall, but rather through the door frame of this connect door. They left or stopped talking after a while and everything was quite for the rest of the night. Just an observation. I would give their breakfast 2 thumbs up! It had hot egg sandwiches, and make your own waffles. Lots of good fresh juice, danish, fresh fruit. Everything was good that we had. My wife had yogurt and granola. Hot tea for both of us. The staff kept everything clean and filled. I complimented one of the workers as she was taking care of things. She was very gracious and smiled. They were working hard. Overall a good stay for us. WIFI was on the slow side according to my wife. But it worked just fine.
We stayed here for one night while buying a car in Naperville (we live two hours away) and then visiting our daughter in downtown Chicago the next day. The room was clean and the beds were fine. The shower pressure and temperature were awesome and the breakfast was very good. We really liked having the fridge and microwave and many restaurants deliver to the hotel. We got an outside room on the first floor with parking two feet from the door which was perfect for my husband's bad hip. It was not noisy at all and is in a nice neighborhood. They best part was the super friendly and accommodating staff. We requested a late check out due to our daughter's schedule and they were happy to help us. Highly recommended!
To promote sales with high quality & value, WHO came up with that crazy idea ? I am happy who ever owns this operations gets it. And apparently since the hotel is still in operation, and ( I assume ) profitable it works ??? Great location, service, free breakfast, Internet, clean and comfortable, and extra pillows when requested ( Warm out of dryer ). You can spend way more and get much less. This is the way I like to run my business, and I appreciate it here.
Best Western Naperville is a great option for this area. Why spend over $100 per night MORE at the Marriott just up the road? The room was perfect in every respect, the breakfast had a lot of variety [even Activia] and even bacon was served once, during my three-night stay. Housekeeping was very thorough and efficient and the maid even spoke English [hint, hint Marriott Palm Desert]. Front desk staff was top-notch and very friendly. I don't know what else I can say; this is a really top-notch operation.
This hotel is amazing,I enjoyed every second of the time that I was there. The room that was mine, was very clean the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and evedrything was there that i need because i didn't have it in my luggage. And the breakfast is super tasty and the people that work there are kind and good to you and if you don't know something there are there to help you. The location is perfect if I'm going back to Chicago i know where I'm going to stay!
This is a great location if you're in the area for business, etc. as it's conveniently located to the expressway and has many nearby food options. My recent stay was for a conference and while we were only really there to sleep, I'm glad I had my husband with me on this trip. There were questionable people hanging around the lobby at the time we checked in and also when going/returning to dinner. While I realize this is not something the hotel can control, I didn't exactly have the safest feeling there. Room was clean and bathroom seemed to have recent updates. Breakfast was mediocre at best but nice to grab something quick before getting on the road.
My family and i truly enjoyed our stay at the Naperville Best Western . the breakfast was very convenient and delightful . I will be revisiting this hotel. It was in the middle of my work and home so i was able to wake up, eat ,drop my family off at home ,and make it work all in a timely fashion so my all around experience was great .
all staff were over the top friendly and helpful. every time I came in the front door, I was greeted with cheerful smiles, and I always felt welcome. room was clean, comfy and quiet. breakfast buffet was meager. safe, convenient location. no complaints!
We had read the reviews on this hotel and they lived up to it! Friendly staff, so ready to help, joke around but get us checked in quickly. The rooms were very clean, neat and comfortable. The location is great and seemed very safe... easy to find and get around. All around very impressed wih this hotel!
