SureStay Plus by Best Western Chicago Lombard

We stayed one night recently..the hotel may be a bit older but it was very clean, very comfy, and the staff very friendly. Parking was well lit and close to front door. We did not eat breakfast but that was on us… we over slept. Great location. Would definitely stay here again

This is hands down, my favorite hotel to stay for relaxation and leisure. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends when visiting Chicago area. Beds are very comfortable , quiet and having an ironing board is a plus for keeping your clothes neat .

Urine on toilet and toilet seat, toilet would not flush, bathroom door knob so loose that it stuck if you locked it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Terrible stay. Staff very friendly and helpful.

When I realized that a very complicated change to my reservation would make my stay much more convenient, my request was met with extreme courtesy, efficiency, knowledge of the hotel, and every effort to make the change as seamless as possible for me. Every additional request added to the reservation was met. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, breakfast was good. I highly recommend this location.

What an amazing hotel. The staff is great. Rooms are excellent. The breakfast was loaded with options. Hotel is very well located. Near many neighboring cities, in the Chicagoland area. I-355 access is super close.

Location wasn't great. One restaurant nearby but others required car. Had to drive into Chicago as no local transport links. Hotel was clean and comfortable with reasonable breakfast. However, after arriving after long hot journey we wanted a bath or shower. There was no hot water although early in evening. Worse still was that man on reception wasn't much bothered. Simply said there was nothing he could do. Also, room not serviced after 1st day. We don't mind making up the bed but object to having to empty bins (very small so fill quickly), especially when only obvious large bin is outside front of hotel. We would have expected a towel change too, though obviously irrelevant as we couldn't use the shower! They have a notice prominently displayed inviting customers to raise any problems which would be addressed. We did and were told we should have been offered another room for shower but that they only service room after 3 days! Obviously notice not intended to be taken seriously. I wouldn't stay here again.

Way better than expected! The front desk clerk is possibly the best welcome I've had and this is my 25th night at a Best Western in the past year. Rooms are super clean but small and furniture is worn. Bathroom has good lighting, shower was great, lots of towels. Lovely plantings by the entrance. Good value for the price. Customers are demanding and rather unpleasant and the front desk clerk was consistently pleasant and professional.

Checked in after a somewhat grueling four-day trip. Received a warm greeting from the front desk clerk, and got checked in without problems. The room was large and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Lighting in bathroom was EXCELLENT, of special value for a 75-year-old traveler. My only "gripe" was the energy-saving light switch in the bathroom which didn't even let you take a shower without repeatedly having to open the shower curtain, get water on the floor, and wave your arms.

My experience with the Lombard SureStay is always phenomenal!!! I've been coming here for the past 5 years staying on the weekends for business. Randy the General Manager always go above and beyond to accommodate every guest. I am truly grateful to Randy and the other hotel representative Selena for making my stay wonderful and pleasant this particular weekend in May 2023'. If you are looking for exceptional customer service…come to the Lombard SureStay!!! It's the BEST hotel in the Lombard area.

Lobby looked nice and updated. ….. then you went to the room. Hallway carpets are old and stained, same goes for the room,. I stayed here some 5 years ago and it was in decent shape. Now 5 years later the rooms have slipped into disrepair . Worn out carpets. . Small out of date TV's . Noisy Mini fridges . Breakfest is only served till 9 in the morning even on the weekends. They give you vouchers to put on your car dash because apparently they have implemented towing . Previously 5 years ago the Hotel had been renting rooms to transients on a weekly basis. It was an annoyance but not a problem per se. Apparently this must have increased hence the parking rule which was new. I will not be coming back to this hotel and the 8.8 rating is a bit baffling . This is a 2 star Hotel trying to pose as a 3 star based on its Lobby. Best Western really needs to come in and renovate the whole hotel. I will say that this is really common this is the third hotel of 5 I have booked since the end of pandemic that is suffering from being worn out and the hotel brand not doing anything and this includes 4 star hotels. The industry needs to wake up you can't just spiff lobby's raise prices and rip off customers. Luckily this hotel was not that high priced but I stIll will not return.

Room was overall, very good. The only issue I had, and a minor one, was the pillows. They need better pillows. I di like how the front desk gives a guest parking pass for your car, in order to minimize other non guest from occupying the lot. The area in Lombard is very safe, so burglary was not a concern. Breakfast was fine for me, although cooked oatmeal would be preferable over instant, but that is minor.

I'm convinced this is our go to place to stay when visiting this area. Wonderful staff. CLEAN rooms. Great night sleep. QUIET PLACE to sleep. Can't say enough about the hard working staff Other customers have trashed the work out equipment but was still able to use it. Furniture banged up by customers but again clean n dusted and no trouble exchanging our soiled linens for fresh every am. Favorite is coming in from the cold and having hot coffee or tea available in the lobby

I was very pleased with this hotel stay. Comfortable room with a good about of table space to put things on. Great breakfast with a lot of variety and warm breakfast options. Very friendly staff! Appreciated the free parking. Would stay here again!

I had a nice stay, and everything was clean, but when I got to my floor the hallway carpeting need to be replaced/updated it looked worn and the hallway walls needed painting and the room was a bit smaller than I'm used to. There was no microwave in the room, but there is one downstairs. My room phone was not working.

The hotel was pretty clean and looked appealing from the outside as well. I thought the room was nicely decorated and I had a good night's sleep. Good selection of breakfast items. Recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

I booked this hotel at the last minute to be closer to Midway for dropping our rental car off before an early morning flight. It was affordable, clean, had friendly service, and an easy 30 minute drive to Midway early in the morning. The room was a clean, basic, no-frills space with a comfortable bed, and the staff at check in and check out were friendly and efficient. Great stay and would recommend if you are looking for a quiet, clean spot in the area.

We stayed here back in February 2022. It was before a flight out in the morning. The rooms were nice and had no problems. I choose to stay again before another flight in September 2022. Things sure changed at this hotel. The room we stayed in was dirty and smelled like old socks. I would have complained, but by the time we arrived we would only get 3-4 hours of sleep before we would have to leave. Sleep was the first priority for us. The room and hallway cleaning took a complete turn for the worse. It really showed they did only the minimum amount of cleaning. Secondly, they were repaving the parking lot during our stay. No access to the front door and parking was on the back side of the hotel and towards the back. We had to carry 4 bags plus 3 carry-on bags up 5-6 steps at the end of the hotel hallway. We then were able to access the elevators. I wish the hotel would have notified me that there would be limited access into the hotel the night of my stay. Yes, I would have stayed at another Best Western hotel I'm sure. I even booked this hotel through the hotels website, not a 3rd. party website. So it was easy for them to contact me. I'm sure it was a case of not wanting to lose money.

I don't know where to start.... Pros The lobby and breakfast was really nice. It seems like it is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The front desk personnel were nice. The small bed was comfortable. Cons The room (106) was small .....almost claustrophobic. Only one wall light worked which made it dim in the room. We paid for a king bed room but was put in a full size bed. The light by the desk didn't work so it was hard for my husband to prepare his lesson. It took the hot water quite a while to heat up...almost gave up on getting my shower.

We have family in the area and have often us this hotel! It is convenient, well-maintained, and affordable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The breakfast always offers many choices. My wife and I will return!

Room dated, carpet worn and frayed, furniture dated and chipped, bathroom grout dirty and chipped. Breakfast ok. Only clean room on 3rd day of your stay; was not notified of this on checking in by staff.

Caring people manage this property and everything was SO clean. Comfortable beds. Hot breakfast was good with wide variety of selections. Many restaurants, shopping, freeways, and services nearby. Located in a reasonably safe neighborhood.

I stayed here one night while in Chicago (area) as I was heading to Iowa and didn't want to stay downtown. It's a nice rather quiet suburb and the price was good. Room was small but clean and staff very friendly so it was very pleasant. I would stay here again.

We stayed at this property last year, too. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All supplies were in order. The breakfast bar was well stocked. I even saw the manager help out when the breakfast got quite busy, I"m always impressed when management helps out wherever needed regardless of job description.

Reasonable price for a quick stay. Room was clean. Most of staff was friendly. Breakfast was atrocious. This is the worst breakfast I have ever encountered while traveling. Eggs were inedible and choices were very slim. Being charged an additional $50 to be removed later for “incidentals” should have tipped me off that maybe this wasn't the best place to stay. I have never had that happen before in all my travels. When visiting family next time, I will choose somewhere else

stayed here to attend a meet , very close to meet and overall great location for variety of places to eat. not noisy. comfortable room. didn't have much opportunity to use the breakfast , very close to Yorktown

To start, when I checked in the evening, tired from travel, the front desk representative answered all my questions in puns (extremely annoying and unprofessional). Next, the room I was given had no working electricity. I went back to the front desk and was given a new room. My new room was just as bad. Half of the lights did not work, furniture is very old, air conditioning did not work, lack of pillows, bathroom was dirty, and there was a lack of hot water. Just avoid this hotel and pay the extra $50 to stay at the Hilton. This location attracts noisy and unsavory characters. You've been warned.

Why is Surestay Plus Hotel a hidden Gem? It is located in a Beautiful area with lots of shopping, restaurants, Theaters, & plenty of things to do! Surestay Plus Hotel is located in a very safe & family-friendly area as well! Now usually to get all the above, comes with an expensive price tag attached to it & this area has plenty of that as well. However, not at Surestay Plus Hotel. The cost is surprisingly reasonable for such a Beautiful, Well-Maintained Hotel! Surestay Plus Hotel even provides a nice hot breakfast every morning & fresh baked cookies! But why should you listen to me? Because, I have stayed here almost every weekend, most Holidays, & vacations for 5 years! Surely if this was a sub-standard hotel, I would have discovered & left along time ago. If you are looking for flaws, well you'll find some - as you will at any other place (to include the highest/best rated hotels considered World-Class). So I won't waste your time with criticisms I'm sure you can find reading other reviews. Suffice it to say, any problems I have had over my time at Surestay Plus Hotel, they have always worked with me to resolve it. Perfection is just unattainable. Next best thing is to strive for perfection! All good & bad considered? I give Surestay Plus Hotel top Marks, 5 stars, two thumbs way up & a 10 out of 10 in their category & among their competition! This also speaks volumes for the people who manage & staff Surestay Plus Hotel! Apparently I'm not the only one that feels this way. Surestay Plus Hotel has other guests they host frequently! Beautiful property - friendly & fast check in by the night staff - comfy bed with good WIFI (kids watched Disney HD)- best hot breakfast around (home made waffles / scrambled eggs / bacon / fresh juice) ! - I will be back ! !

We have stayed in this hotel several times, because we needed to be at this location. There are some good things: the beds are comfortable, they serve a hot breakfast with COVID precautions, the staff are polite, and the room rates are reasonable. But something always goes wrong--I presume the hotel is poorly managed. During our latest stay, the thermostat was broken on the heater in our room. It was below freezing outside, so we turned the heat on, but even with the thermostat set at 58 degrees, the room became too hot to sleep in. So we would get up at night and turn off the heat, then get up a couple hours later when the room got cold and turn the heat back on. We told the front desk and they said they were making a note of it and it would be fixed quickly, but after another 2 weeks (!), they still hadn't fixed it. So we just got extra blankets and kept the heat off. Also, our room was not cleaned for 5 days, despite our asking them to clean it the mornings of the 3rd and 4th days. I could go on, but you get the idea. I don't think we'll stay there again.

Best Western Hotels has been my one of the best choice considering the economical rates and best in service. Sure Stay holel at lombard had well renovated lobby but rooms and elevator need some work. Room were also well cleaned and kept including the bathrooms.

My friend and I come twice a year to shop and dine in the Oakbrook area. We've stayed at this hotel for a number of years and keep returning because it's very comfortable and quiet, includes a nice breakfast, the staff is terrific and the price is excellent. The breakfast lady, Enriquetta, was delightful and and made us start our day with a laugh. After long days we appreciate that the beds are really comfortable and have nice quality linens (the sheets are very soft and smooth--they feel much nicer than a typical hotel). The lobby has been updated and I expect that the rooms will be in the future. For our purposes, this hotel is perfect.

Clean surrounding, nice people, I was able to enjoy myself and the other guest, I would definitely recommend staying at surestay plus hotel to anyone, the internet speed was excellent, the people who work were nice, good stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and the room is nice. I definitely recommend this hotel. It's also very affordable. The only complaint is the room can feel a little warm sometimes. Overall everything was great!

We were pleasantly surprised with this budget hotel. The staff was great, from front desk to the breakfast attendant. We had no negative experiences. The hotel was clean and fairly quiet. We stayed 3 nights, had two rooms due to family with us, and would return.

The staff was friendly and helped when problems arose. That being said, the walls were dirty. First room didn't have a working refrigerator. Second room had makeup smeared all over the hair dryer. Not sure how anyone cleaning could miss this detail? Will not stay again unless the rooms are updated.

I rarely find Hotels with hospitality but here you have a front desk that is very personable as soon as you check in. Randy the GM has a great team in Selena, Melissa , Lilly. Patrick, Ken, Silvio and Bercinia.(hope I spelled that correctly.) They always have a smile behind the Front Desk. The room we stayed in was fresh and that's kudos to the Housekeepers. I saw a Review that was false because there were no young girls there so DISREGARD that one's assumption about trafficking. Really just a waste of time reporting it. Never saw a Police car in the parking lot driving around and what does letters on her car has to do with what he or she describes, don't worry about assumptions. The rates are MUCH more affordable the most Hotels in the area. One point to emphasize is NOT to stay at The Sonesta next door. That GM there (we stayed there in the past) does a horrible job where he tells you to throw your towels and sheets outside on the porch outside the room and the Housekeepers will pick the them up. Waited 4 hours..no pick up and they were right across the way where they do the laundry. Been visiting Lombard twice a year and this is the place my wife and I will stay in the future. Trust me you can't go wrong especially with the rates and hospitality you will be impressed. Enjoy your stay!

I stay at this hotel twice each year, on business. It is always well maintained and the staff is terrific. The breakfast is good, with a varied menu. Easy access to highways, but in a quiet neighborhood.

Ladies do not stay here there were strange letters marked on my car as a sign of sex trafficking.i received hang up calls in my room and I believe they are trafficking at this hotel will be reporting them.

The hotel room were very clean and staff was great, super friendly and helpful. I wish it was newly outfitted, TV had issues and very dated. The Mini Fridge is not big and doesn't fit any foods or drinks. They've done a good job with the remodel exterior but not the rooms . Some furniture is outdated in the rooms but still serviceable but does detract from the otherwise. Very comfortable, however there were small ants crawling around in the bathroom.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we travel. We had no problems whatsoever and the area had lots of restaurants to choose from. 10/10

The room was very clean , old furniture and didn't have a microwave in the room .the breakfast was really good variety of stuff. Service was pretty good .I would recommend this place it's was quiet at night and around .

Dirty sheets, rude staff, no microwave but people under me had a microwave. People under me and next to me screamed that my life was over and it is time for the Latins. They laughed and called it psychological torture. Cleaning staff surrounds guests so they can "learn" them. Horrible.

I've stayed here on several occasions and like this hotel. It's very reasonably priced, clean, has all the basics, and has a helpful staff. They are currently going out of their way to provide a hot breakfast, by serving it to guests across a table to keep people safe. They have a policy posted everywhere that says, "Please Wear a Face Mask At All Times-No Mask No Service." However, the policy is not enforced. Many guests sit in the lobby and eat or just hang out without masks. We also saw 4 different hotel staff members, including housekeeping, a desk clerk, and the manager not wearing a mask over their face while close to us, each on multiple occasions. Evidently, the hotel staff does not take seriously their own policy, which appears to be from their national office. If you are concerned about catching COVID, you probably want to skip this hotel for now, though I don't know if other hotels in the area are doing any better.

Very warm welcome - wish there was a microwave with in the room - Overall size of space was good beds were a little harder than I am used to but still was okay. Good amount of pillows etc. Recommend anyone if they are looking for a good clean place with breakfast it is hard to beat the price. If you are looking for a little more might have to pay a little more elsewhere. Overall Highly recommend.

The hotel is nice, clean in a quiet suburb with shopping centers and restaurants nearby. My room was a little small but it was enough for the night. My only nag was some of the guests were a little noisy with doors closing throughout the night into the wee hours of the morning. It could also be heard on the floor below. I will stay again in the near future just not on NYE's.

Usually, this is a good place to stay, as I've stayed here many times over the last 10 years. This stay got off to a bad start with check-in, Reserved thru BW, but that res didn't show at the hotel, resulting in a 45 - 50 minute check-in that shouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes. 3 night stay, but no housekeeping services. Bathtub slow to drain and hot water, initially, a problem. I'll be staying again in March of 2021 for a nearby show, and I'll see how Sure Stay does then.

I woke up with a large spider on my nightstand. That's when I noticed the spiderwebs between the wall and the AC unit. Look at the photos! How do you miss something like this when cleaning??? Other than that, the service was friendly and the breakfast was nice.

Conveniently located and an excellent value for the price. Breakfast buffet is basic but coffee and tea are always available. The Greek Isles restaurant nearby is within walking distance and is really outstanding.

Stayed at this hotel as an alternative to the Westin a few blocks away, which would have been double the price, and NO breakfast included. This SureStay was very clean and quiet. Stayed here the past three year, at about the same time in March, for an annual event held at the Westin. Hot breakfast was quiet good, with lots of room for quests. Excellent coffee! Room was very clean and smelled fresh. Very quiet both nights of my stay. Comfortable bed.

Great hotel. Alot of stores nearby. Clean rooms good breakfast, housekeeping was fantastic. Basically everyone was polite, especially the breakfast lady. She was very Attentive with us and with everyone else in the breakfast area.

Very convenient location with an outstanding Greek restaurant right across the parking lot (Greek Isles). The price is a great value for this business location. Conveniently located to nearby expressways.

I have used this hotel for a few years now on my business trips to Chicago. It just does not disappoint. The people who work there both day or night shifts are always great, the room is very nice, hot water, excellent breakfast and on and on...if you have to stay in this area do not look any farther...

I was amazed at the absolutely gorgeous lobby and public space for this hotel. We were looking for somewhere with a breakfast, good internet and the rest didn't really matter except for price. It was one of the lower priced options we had and I am shocked we didn't pay more for the friendly staff, comfortable bed, and wonderful breakfast. I interacted with a lot of the staff and really enjoyed my stay. It felt like being with family-but with space! I don't think you can get anything better in the suburbs than this property!

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I slept well and felt safe. I had a couple of issues but it was addressed immediately. I would recommend this location and return back as a guest again!!!

Great value - clean, courteous staff, and spacious room. Any questions we had were answered politely and with attention. We are glad we made reservations here - close to NUHS, great shopping and eateries.

The staff was excellent and the room was immaculate. The area was very secure and well light. I looked at pictures before I booked, I told my daughter the pics are nice but I don't know if they are accurate, they were, very beautiful lobby area and room was updated nicely.

We stayed here at Christmas while visiting relatives in the area. It was a great value. The location was wonderful - easy to get on I-88 and close to Yorktown Shopping Center. Room seemed narrower than most and bathroom was small. But the room was clean and staff was very pleasant. Would have liked it if the counter person was actually at the counter instead of in the back room. Breakfast was good. Would probably stay here again the next time we are in town.

When visiting family in Illinois I always choose StaySure by Best Western. Thee staff is great and the hotel is clean and comfortable. I will always book here. It's the economical choice for me and my husband!

Stayed one night to attend a nearby concert. Outstanding service, very nice room, clean and well kept premises. Good varied continental breakfast. Similar in service and property to a Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn at VERY reasonable price. Recommend highly.

It was nice, Front Desk Clerk kind of nice nasty. Her attitude could've been a a heck of a lot better than it was. Great customer service goes a long way. Other than that had a decent overall stay.!!!

We stayed Nov 21-23 as we were in town for a church convention. The breakfast was nice with plenty of options. The rooms were clean and plenty of room. The bathroom was also spacious and nice water pressure when we showered. Staff was very pleasant as well. We'll be back to stay again.

My son's hockey takes me to many interesting places. This hotel is one of the much nicer places I've stayed and very economical. The location is ok. 5 minutes to all the basic amenities. Malls, restaurants, gas. About 30 mins from O'Hare. 30 minutes to downtown. 30 minutes to Chicago outlets (if you feel the need to shop). The neighborhood is very clean and feels very safe. The parking is ample and FREE! The hotel is bright, clean, spacious and up to date. Staff were very friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. The cleaning staff greeted me every morning. Breakfast is free. Simple menu choices but hot and fresh. I think there's enough options to satisfy most people. Hot coffee served all day! My room was a single queen. Bed was comfy. Desk was useful. The room felt a little small but for just one person is was just fine. Bathroom was spacious and shower was nice and hot. The heater in the room was hard to adjust, it got either too hot or too cold but not too big a deal. I turned it off or on wherever needed. TV had lots of channels. Overall a really great deal to stay here. The only thing I forgot to check beforehand is I wish there was a hot tub lol. If you've never been to Chicago, check your travel routes. Many freeways have tolls. I stayed off the toll routes but added about 10 minutes to each trip to the rink. I think after 5 days though I saved about $50. Yes, I did a lot of driving.

Good price, clean room, good service, good breakfast, room as expected, easy access of rooms with adjacent parking and Hotel located where I needed to be. I would recommend Sure Stay to both Business and Personal Travelers.

You know how they say, "you get what you pay for?", well in our case, we had a real tight budget to work with but we knew we had to get away and recharge for the weekend and we're so glad we chose SureStay in Lombard because not only did we enjoy our 2 night "Small Getaway" (hubby & I) without sacrificing excellent customer service but you can tell that your staff puts in the time and effort to meet and/or exceed customers expectations. Just know your efforts didn't go unnoticed.

Ok for a budget hotel but disappointed in lack of managerial response to request for call when I had to deal with a broken toilet. Not practicing good customer retention. Changing future reservations based on this lack of attention to customers.

This is a very nice modern hotel in a great location (near Oakbrook Mall) and it is a good value. The only drawback is its lack of a pool to relax in after a long day of traveling. However, the price made it worth the sacrifice of not having a pool.

My son and I have stayed here one weekend month for the last 3 months. We've had nothing but the best experience. Always friendly, always clean, and reasonably priced. Whenever we're in the area, this will be our choice!

I stayed here for just one night in late September. The location was convenient - very close to where my dad lives. Everything went perfectly for my short stay. The hotel is fairly new, the room was fresh and clean, and check-in and check-out were handled without incident. No noise issues at night, no problem with parking. To top it off, the room rate is well below almost all alternatives in the area. This will definitely be my go-to spot when I need a place in the area.

Nothing special about this hotel, just a place to sleep. Rooms need updating as many areas were badly worn. We were given a room with a very strange shower and it was very hard to get the shower nozzle to spray without soaking the floor (it still got wet due to the curtain not reaching the floor). Apparently we were given an "accessible" room as I had chosen the cheapest option on a travel site, but the hotel should have moved us to a regular room as it was clear we didn't need this room style. Found hair in a lot of spots too so housekeeping needs work. Breakfast was standard basic fare. Parking is tight. Front desk guy was friendly.

Nice property. Nice location. The property is clean and sits back in a calm spot. Restaurants are nearby and there is a Mall about a half mile down the road. It has shopping and entertainment. Prices were very reasonable for this 3-star.

I was traveling by myself so I needed a safe and quiet hotel for my stay. I was amazed by this hotel's overall service. The bright and modern lobby, the delicious and hot breakfast, 24 hours coffee which was super important for me as a coffee lover and the FREE PARKING! The WIFI inside the guest room was strong, and the TV was great. I Love my king bed room! There were 3 things that I wasn't 100% satisfied: 1. The room key sensor: I didn't know why, but it always took me more than 10 times to insert the key and open the door. It was super annoying. However, I was testing my patience so I didn't report to the hotel right away. I stated this problem when I checked out. 2. The internet of the PC at the business room: I used the computer at the business room twice. The first day the service was wonderful, while the second day I experienced NO INTERNET there.... 3. The facilities of the fitness room: the treadmill was not smooth for me to run, even walking was a tough experience. Hopefully someone will fix this treadmill soon. Since there is only one treadmill here. I still will stay here next time when I visit Lombard, but if I experience the key problem, I definitely will report the the front desk!

I visit several vendors in the Lombard/Elmhurst and Des Plaines area. This hotel is right next to and outstanding Greek restaurant...the Greek Isles......the soups, salads and sea food selctions are to die for.

My husband and I have been staying at this hotel location for over 10 years. Though this hotel has changed names and management companies several times in those years and is now running under the name sure stay and run as a best western chain hotel. I am happy to report this hotel is even nicer than previous visits. The rooms are still nice, well kept and clean. The entryway and breakfast dining area has been redecorated and is larger, brighter and very comfortable. The breakfast is HOT, good, fresh and my favorite point is the area is constantly supervised and kept supplied with food. But I love the supervision of the food area keeps the little kiddies fingers out of the food and keeps the food area neat and clean. I also love that the hotel offers hot coffee, tea and cold water 24 hrs a day. Very nice amenity for a hotel. I'll continue to stay here!! Enjoy!

purpose of visit is cancer treatment at Loyola Cancer Center. hotel was a comforting place to stay during a stressful time in our lives. stayed here on both treatment visits and will stay here if further treatments are needed.

My spouse and I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and had a great experience. Decided to stay again when we were visiting Chicago. What a difference two years make. It was a horrible experience. Started with our first night. Found a long black hair about 10 inches long on my pillow. Really gross also found the same hair in the bathroom sink and tub. The next night Saturday we returned to our room around 10pm. There was loud noises coming from the adjoining room. Let it go until around midnight. Called down to the front desk and complained. Told it will be dealt with. Around 1am the noise level increased sounded like a loud bass boom box was playing. Laughing and doors slamming. Called the front desk no answer went down the lobby and night manager was on his way up. Said he had multiple complaints. The noise didn't stop. The next morning I asked if the people in the adjoining room were checking out. If not we were going to leave one day early. Was told they weren't sure. We went out to meet friends for brunch and told front desk staff we would be back before 3pm. When we returned at 2:30 told that the adjacent room had extended their stay. Told front desk we were going to leave. They insisted we has to pay for Sunday night since it was after noon check out time. Took over 30 minutes for front desk to get approval not to charge us. I found the front desk staff rude and when I said I would complain to Best Western and write a review they said go ahead they don't care. I also asked why they would extend a stay for guests that were totally disrespectful to other guests and allow Best Western Gold members leave early and dissatisfied.

Unfortunately, the rooms are not. The lobby looks like a different hotel compared to when you get off elevator. As soon as elevator opened on 4the floor, dirty carpets with crumbs. The room we stayed in smelled foul, after I got the door to open, which took 2 trips between bad keys and am awkward handle. The Manager changed our room, which didn't smell foul.., at least it didn't until the ac worked for an hour. Manager blames former customers, for burning incense. It definately was the ac condensate, beds are small hard doubles, pillows are hard and square, ac loud. Bfast was OK, but I definately would NEVER stay here again, even if it was for $5 a night! Spend extra and go to a chain, you def get what you pay for on this one.

Great stay if you expect a quiet place and clean room and showers. Only things wrong were the uncomfortable square pillows, no microwave along with the little cooler fridge they had in my room. And I have yet to experience room service annoying you before checkout time. That's a big plus!

Staff was friendly. AC didn't work well at all. Room was very hot. Good internet. Didn't eat the breakfast it was the regular hot type breakfast. Powdered eggs, sausage toast etc. Over all a okay hotel.

Clean quiet room at a very convenient location. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Tub was slippery but they provided a bathmat which solved the problem. Very friendly staff. Only negative was the wifi which kept cutting in and out. Highly recommended.

While this property isn't on any main thoroughfares is is only a short drive to access many major roads. It is set back from the road but easy to identify when driving past. GPS was spot on leading the way. Staff is helpful, friendly, and available when needed. Though I don't think you will have any problems, it's good to know you can count on them. Internet service is fast and accessible. Breakfast is included and plentiful, but could use a little extra attention at times. Definitely worth trying it out if you are in the area. My family and I will be returning.

I stayed at the SureStay Plus Hotel for a week while sightseeing in Chicago. The hotel was first rate! The staff was polite and helpful and did a great job with breakfast, keeping our room clean, accommodating our schedule, offering advice and directions, etc. The only negative was the sofa bed I slept on. It's definitely not meant for adults! Small children would probably be okay, but I would NOT recommend it for adults. I was traveling with my parents, so we opted for a king room with sofa bed because they didn't have rooms with 2 queen-sized beds. Other than that our stay was great. Delicious breakfast each morning and a great price. We rode the train into Chicago a couple of days and drove in a couple of days. Great vacation and I would definitely stay here again...although probably not on the sofa bed...lol!

I am originally from the area but have sold my home and moved. I anticipate a few trips a year to the area and truly appreciate that I have found a great hotel reasonably priced that I can stay at near where I used to work and live (two blocks from a former employer)

We had the room ad the end of the hal in front of the exit. We had a lot of noise every time the door slammed. At night there where children screeming in the halway,reception could hear this but did nothing. The room was small, the bed was comfortabel. There was no microwave, we did have a small fridge (everything was frozen in it after a couple of hours so we had to throw stuf away) The breakfast was good. We would not stay here again.

First time at a SureStay (Best Western). On Friday reported the holes in the carpet for room 301. On Saturday reported holes in carpet, hole in shower curtain and shower curtain rod about to fall. Was told maintenance would be to fix that day. Lied to about the fix. I reported all items again Sunday and Monday when I left. Also reported it on Survey sent from Best Western never heard anything back. Looks like this SureStay (Best Western) does not care about the way the place looks. I will not stay at another SureStay because of this

Convenient to tollways and major highways in western suburbs of Chicago. Moderately priced. I stay there several times a year when visiting family in the area.

We searched online for Cheap Hotels and came across this one in our price range. Hotel was clean, staff was Friendly, Fast and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was Good and had alot of variety.. Rooms and bed were Comfortable and clean. Excellent Experience!!

First time at a SureStay, probably stick with mainstream Best Western in future. Check in staff didn't know what they were doing. No eye contact. No recognition of being an Elite rewards member even though the room was booked with points. Room ok. Breakfast ok. Noisy location.

This was my first time staying at this name of hotel but they gave me excellent price online. The room was very clean staff was very helpful and friendly and the exercise room was next to my room and loved that they had free weights.

My wife and I had a funeral to attend, needed to spend the night before heading back home. We stayed at the SureStay last year and loved it decided to go back. I'm glad we did! The hotel is located in a great spot. There are places to eat and shop right around the hotel. Also not far from the interstate. The hotel lobby is undergoing remodeling, it is going to look amazing when it is complete. There was absolutely no construction noise in our room. They did however have to move the breakfast to the second floor, which was accommodating. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly. We will most definitely be back when we need to go to the Chicagoland area again! Highly recommended!

We opted for the kings bed with a sofa room and it was quite spacious enough. The room and the bathroom resemble the pictures exactly as shown on the hotel website. very neat..! The absence of the microwave in our room dint bother us at all because we dint need one! The other amenities like fridge,TV,ironing machine worked very fine. Although the breakfast spread is limited, the quality is good. The front area of the hotel is under renovation right now which apart from being unsightly doesnt bother in any other way.Overall for the price, it was a great stay and we would be staying here again if we visit the place..!

I was in town to get some training from corporate. fortunately for me I did not have to get that training in the city. the suggested hotels were nearly twice as expensive per night. for the price I paid per night I. would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was a mistake. The room smelled bad, the staff was stressed, the HVAC was noisy, the elevator was a scary ride, and the list goes on and on. When I went to breakfast, the area was full and the options were cold cereal and bananas. Never again.

For the last couple years I have been staying here whenever I travel to Chicago after staying at a competing local hotel. This place is top shelf; clean rooms, quiet and convenient with great pricing. The breakfast is amazing and is included. You cannot go wrong with this place.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Yorktown, if that's your thing. We traveled from Michigan basically just to eat. Hotel was where I needed to be. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom in the room was clean. Shower water was as hot as you could want! Breakfast was better than the usual continental variety. It changed each day we were there. It seems every day is fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, english muffins, 4 kinds of juice, scrambled eggs, the waffle type pancake maker. There was sausage gravy and biscuits one morning, sausage links the next. (the links were really good).Value for what I paid was exceptional. I booked through Best Western, not a 3rd party booking agent. Some web sites will not allow cancellation as late as the BW website. We stayed on Friday and Saturday nights, not sure how weekday prices compare.

Never stayed at a SureStay Plus Hotel before? Neither had I. I had a very good experience! Comfortable, on par to nicer than Holiday Inn Express. Better value for the money, for sure. Recommend you give it a try.

We have stayed here several times while visiting nearby relatives. Even if it were not so close, it would be a good option for a quality hotel at a reasonable price in the Chicago area. The room, service, and breakfast were all good, as before. The fresh fruit was especially good at breakfast. The coffee was very weak the first day we were there, but better the next two. One thing we did not like this time, however, was that the room cleaning knocked on our door repeatedly at 8:15 AM on Thanksgiving. I thought that was too early to be waking people up. I didn't think to put a Do not disturb sign on the door because I've never been woken up that early by cleaning staff before.

My wife and I had a weekend in Chicagoland and stayed at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Lombard. It was nicely located for where we wanted to be. The check-in went seamlessly. The room was rather average but comfortable and clean. We did have a sofa as well as a king size bed. The bathroom was large with the sink outside of the toilet/shower room. The only problem we had with the room was regulating the temperature. If we used the heat cycle it blasted hot air. If we used the cool cycle it felt too cool. This was without changing the set temperature. The breakfast in the lobby was good with some hot food options including self-made waffles. There was a selection of muffins and breads and cereals. It was a satisfying meal. The one slight negative was the seating area was too limited at peak times. The hotel is in a nice area two blocks from a major shopping mall and close to the freeways that are not really free but rather tollways. We felt we had a very nice place to stay at an excellent price.

I was very pleased with the service and rooms at the SureStay Hotel by Best Western in Lombard. I reserved the room due to location and price, knowing I was not spending a lot of time at the hotel. I was able to park close to an entrance which is a big thing coming back late at night alone and being a woman. The breakfast was enjoyable and so much more than an apple and donut. When I come back into town I will stay there again.

I always stay here with my family when we come to town. It has great breakfast, comfy bed, and nice people. Good price! My only small complaints are: crappy shampoo! Bring your own! And the air conditioner is very noisy. Otherwise, we love it here!

If your looking to save 30-40 dollars a night, this is the hotel for you. Not looking to save money, probably not. The hotel is nice, but above average at best. Could not stand the small pillows on the bed. Breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs and a meat. If your staying in the area, might consider it again. Otherwise I consider spending a little more for a nicer hotel.

The staff is always very nice and friendly. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay very welcome when ever I stay there. Truckers are always welcome. There breakfast are great to start the day.

Me and my husband stayed at this property for three days. It was the most pleasant stay with amazing complimentary breakfast. The best part was that they had hot and cold breakfast. My partner and I stayed here for two nights at the start of our Route 66 trip. Check in quick and straight forward. Helpful staff. We had room 208, which was a good size room, very clean in all areas. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast ok, usual things,eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels etc. Handy hotel to catch the Metra into Chicago, $12.50 for the day. Would stay again.

Very clean, good choices for breakfast, and helpful manager. We had a 4 night reservation but had to leave early before our last night' stay. The manager understood our circumstances and allowed us to get out of our last night fee free plus do a late checkout the day we had to leave (we are best western rewards members as well).

I called on a 7 hr drive to book a handicapped room since I was seeing a doctor the next morning after surgery. The girl on the phone misunderstood and thought I said for the next day. I corrected her saying I would probably be admitted to the hospital the following day and we moved forward. I ended the call saying, okay see you in a few hours. When we arrived, she had booked it for the following day. And kept telling my husband and her manager I had said tomorrow. These things happen. I can forgive the misunderstanding. My problem comes in that they made no effort to amend the situation. Telling my husband they were sorry but they had no vacancy. They left a woman in a wheelchair battling infection after a 7 hr car ride to drive around hotel to hotel at 10 pm. Then when I find a hotel that can help us, I see that online they still have four rooms listed for purchase for the night. I'm an extremely understanding person and would have been completely happy if they had just offered to let us see if one of their last rooms would have worked for us. Instead, I was left in pain and crying searching for a place that cares enough about people to really try to help.

The staff are very friendly. the rooms are clean and well taken care of. Kevin, the general manager is very professional and works with the residents as they come in. Cant say enough about this hotel. Good location and the Greek Islands restaurant is next door.

One of the nicer motels we have stayed in, in the Naperville area. Comfortable beds, only complaint is the room was a little small. The breakfast area was clean and well tended. Check in was very efficient.

Beds are comfortable and pillows are soft but it had spot. Great for sleeping. Quiet hotel with plenty of space in the centre for hanging out. Breakfast was alright but I wish they have variety. The room needs makeover can't watch tv from the furniture and you have be laying on your bed.

This hotel is nothing special, the rooms are average, not big and all looks older. The service was good and we get our room quick. Everything was more and less clean. The breakfast was also average. We would look for another hotel if we come back to the area. The price of this hotel was good for what you get.

The front desk staff was pathetic, the A/C was noisy and the water in my shower was piped BACKWARDS! Yes a good scolding was not necessary. And why serve fake eggs? Yes they talk about this great breakfast in many of the other reviews, but there was a sign "hidden" that said "Eggs are a dairy product" YES A FRICKING SIGN telling you the eggs are fake! PUT IT IN FRONT OF THE EGGS! I am lactose intolerant and my morning after eating here sucked! The pork sausages were weird and just STAY somewhere else!

I stay here when I'm in town on business, sometimes up to a month at a time and never had and issue or bad experience with management or staff. Breakfasts are great way to start the day. The rooms are always clean and neat.

So I have been traveling in to Chicago for many years and have been staying at a nearby competitor. But after 10 years of listening to slamming doors, screaming in the halls and assortment of other oddities I finally decided to try another hotel. (Yes, I know it took 10 years for me to figure this out) So I decided to give SureStay a try after reading so many positive reviews of the place. It did not disappoint. Quiet and very clean. It was a real pleasure to stay there. I work a lot of hours when I am in town so I leave before the morning breakfast so I can't make any comment about it. I felt very safe there with no strange folks wandering the halls or the parking lots at all hours. My only interaction with the staff was at check in and check out. The girl at check in was great; very nice. For the business traveler who pays his own way for travel this is definitely the place. Four stars only because I'm stingy with 5. :) It should not be taken as a slight at all.

I stay here all the time on business 3 weeks a month for the past 4 years and have never had a problem with the staff or management of any kind. The breakfast that they offer EVERY MORNING is better than you could ask for great with something different each day. I have never seen or heard about any issues of anykind. For the guy who said something about (BED BUGS) I know for a fact that they have a very stronge provention policy about this with a extermanator that comes in once a month no mater what if they need them or not. I have seen them here first hand and wish all motels would take this kind of preventive action to make sure the HOTEL is clean and safe for all it's guest. Yes the guest who complained about the bugs could have brought them in them selfs and not known it. Sir grow up and deal with it. I will stay here again and again . The price is great the perks are great. The MANAGEMENT is the best you could ask for and would bend over backwards for any guest. HUNTER ,MELISSA, and the rest of the front desk are the best NEVER RUDE to anyone. Management and staff treat their guest like GOLD. I'm staying here between now and Christmas and between Christmas and NEW YEARS. I wouldn't stay any place else.

I am always thankful to find a great hotel when I am away from home. I was able to check in to my room early and the staff was amazing. My room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. I will definitely be back.

This hotel offers an excellent price for decent rooms, a better-than-average breakfast with hot items, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We did encounter a couple problems, but the staff took care of them efficiently. The first room we were given had a very loud fan sound from the heater and they gave us another room right away. The second room we had trouble opening the door after inserting the room key, until a staff member explained that we needed to turn the handle up rather than down. (This is atypical, so I think all guests should really be told about this when they check in.) We slept well, ate well, and were always greeted in a friendly way by staff. It is hard to find a better deal than this hotel in Chicago or its suburbs.

We stayed here 4 nights and found a bite on our legs, bed bugs, and blood stains on the sheets. They moved us to a different room. When the manager was informed, he was rude and dismissive. Here are the pics. Legal action will be next. Do not stay here unless you want to bring a little something extra back home with you (sand I mean bed bugs).

Truly loved the price, the room and the breakfast! Hoping the price stays low like this! It will make it easier to visit my daughter! Room 226 was clean (there were a few things that should be fixed door stop in bathroom, the towel rack was dented in two places, toilet ran periodically for no reason, and curtain had broken hook (did not close all the way)) but nothing intolerable) and comfortable. Bed was plenty comfortable. Glad it is part of the Best Western Family as they are our preferred hotel chain! Glad they had eggs and bacon rather than just the normal continental breakfast fair! We will stay here again!!

We decided to stay here since the previous year we drove to the shopping center not too far away and wanted somewhere not too far from there. The rooms are roomy not too small and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was great. The time available was awesome which allows you to sleep in a little more and not have to rush to scavenger for food. Food was good was not crappy and you can make your own waffles. Will definitely be back next year.

I choose this hotel as bgt option for Chicago. As I was running on Chicago marathon I decided to stay out of the city and combine my stay with rent a car. Hotels in city center during marathon weekend were extremly expensive. As for the distance from the Chicago that was bad decidion as one way trip took more than 50 minutes. Traffic is just terrible + parking in the city is very expensive. Never than less Lombard is great area and I was very suprised by the way everything is clean and organized. Very close ( walk in distance) is great shopping area and lots of restaurants. As for the hotel I have to say that housekeeping is very good. My room was well maintained and cleaned. Room is spaceus and vey corect in every way. Parking is great and wifi conection is excelent. Ony thing that I did not understand is brekfast? It is better not to give than to do that. At least they should give real plates and cutlery. For what they spend on breakfast they have to do more. It doesnt cost much more to go step up. But this did not spoil my experience. Very good and clean rooms and good value for my money.

Horrible breakfast, paint peeling in bathroom, badly in need of renovation and cramped room. Most of the staff, except night auditor, were very rude. Forget sleeping late if you want housekeeping. Basically - you get what you pay for.

comfortable beds, big bathroom, quiet room and area -- couldn't hear the neighboring rooms at all. Staff was pleasant. Easy to get to ... not hard to get to, even when avoiding the toll roads. I'd stay here again.
