Best Western Plus Hotel Lakeland, Lakeland

This hotel was so clean, the room was very updated and cozy. No stained sheets, no funny smells. The TV had a lot of great channels. Even the staff was friendly, checking in and checking out. I would definitely stay here again, even if it was out of the way.

Upon entering this hotel, we were stunned by its beauty and cleanliness. And it only got better after that. We had anticipated staying for 2 nights as we were awaiting the closing on our new home, but after delays after delays, we ended up staying 36 nights! While we were frustrated with the delays, the incredible staff at Best Western Plus lifted our spirits every day. Beginning each day with the complimentary hot breakfast, John and Theodore made us feel more like friends rather than hotel guests. Ray was very personable and helpful in every way possible, and his housekeeping staff did the same thing. Vernice and the entire front desk staff always had a smile and kind words for us. Even Kosh, an owner, was professionally kind and polite. In summary, every staff member from the owner throughout the entire hotel employees were so much more personable than any hotel we've ever stayed in. A big thank you to all!

The hotel was excellent. Very clean. Staff was professional and caring. The locale of the hotel was great, it put me 5 minutes from my destination and close enough to stores and restaurants without being in the hubbub.

Hotel looked and smelled clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice with plenty of hot and cold options and well attended. TV had lots of channel choices. Only spent one night there but would definitely stay there again.

This was probably one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in a long time! When we arrived Vernice greeted me at the front desk, she was so helpful and nice! We stayed in the hotel pretty much from the time of check in until we checked out the next morning. The hotel was very clean and well kept. In the morning we had breakfast and John Henry greeted us there, he was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you Vernice and John for making our stay so great!

We stayed here for college move in weekend. It was located close to everything we needed - the college, shopping, and dining. The facility seemed brand new and was very well maintained. Everything was clean and in order. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was clean and comfortable. I was Ironing in the Bedroom space while watching Bed area TV (it swivels) While My Husband was watching in Living room area. Shower was spacious and good showerhead. Beds were very comfortable and cozy.

We were traveling between the coasts, part business, part leisure, and decided to stay here as a mid point - the staff was fantastic, everything spotless, fresh breakfast, it felt like a vacation. A wonderful respite to catch our breath. Highly recommend.

Front desk staff were very nice professional hotel were very clean housekeeping kept rooms clean they were also friendly breakfast staff were friendly made sure we had what was needed breakfast was good no complaints at all this were our first time here and we were very please slept very comfortable

Stayed at this hotel for four nights in July 2022. The hotel is new, clean and cozy. Staff are amazing, so welcoming and friendly. Nice hot breakfast in the morning. The only issue we had is the fan in the room keep running all the time even if you turn it off. So it was so noisy at night for no reason. We told the front desk and they said that they have order to be fix and waiting for parts or something like that. We didn't get an offer to change the room so I am not sure if this in all units or just ours. After all experience is very good. I recommend this place.

We stayed for a quick over night. The front desk staff were great. They were very friendly and helpful., even recommending a nice restaurant downtown. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a hot breakfast.

This hotel is a get what you pay for stay. The view is perfect and you are on the beach. The pool and activities for children are awesome but overall the floor of room was very dirty like it had not been mopped. Couple steps on the floor and your feet were black. The staff in the evening time were not pleasant. I do feel as though this hotel is good if you don't plan to spend anytime in room other than to sleep and shower. Breakfast was good and bad depending on the day. Don't have any complaints about noise from surrounding rooms but our door to get outside to balcony was very loud and hard to open.(could be for safety reasons, maybe)

I arrived in a large vehicle and had issues finding a place to park. Beverly and Ciera went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and helped me get parked. It was very much appreciated. Thank you! The hotel is clean, housekeeping does an excellent job, and the lobby is a great place to hang out and work during the day. Exceptional hotel, I would book again!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was above average. Everything looked and smelled clean. We didn't think the area was the best, but the hotel had good security (cameras and lots of lights).

Clean, newly build, modern and comfortable hotel. Location is kind of boring in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast assortiment is typical but was fresh and satisfactory. Personal is polite and attentive. No pool in this location.

We stayed only one night because we were there for a baseball tournament. This was an Excellent choice, is a new hotel, rooms are very nice and the front desk ladies are very cordial. We will come back for sure.

I had a terrible night's sleep at this hotel, the pillows were tiny and the AC would make a horrible clicking sound every 2 hours which would wake me up. I also was granted late check-out but of course the housekeeper started banging on my door at 11AM and every 5 minutes thereafter. I had to tell the housekeeper I had late check out so she would stop. When I was checking out, they told me that I did not have late check out on my room and that I actually had to call in the morning and ask for late check out...then why on earth didn't they explain this to me when I was first checking in, why do they automatically say I can do late-check out? I have no idea. Horrible communication from this hotel that doesn't even know about their own policies. I will never ever stay at this hotel again.

We apologize for your experience upon your recent stay with us. We are a new property, so we may a few new members to staff that are not up to par with protocol as well as they should be, and we do sincerely apologize about this. We do apologize about our housekeeping staff as we will be going over with all staff members the rules and policies of our hotel to make sure we are conducting business fluently and professionally. We do apologize for failing your during your stay resulting a not so enjoyable experience with us. We will be immediately checking into the AC unit in your room as well. However, the pillows are a brand specific item, which the brand attempts to limit in order to better aid in a uniform stay experience for guest during stays at different Best Western branded hotel.

Stayed here for a youth sport tournament with about 10 more families. The rooms and hotel were super clean, nice and comfortable. The staff super attentive and professional. Excellent value for the money. Overall a great experience and definitely will come back when in the area.

Went for sun n fun expo! Brand new everything was clean and fresh! Staff was polite and quick drive to the airshow. Also if not going to airshow but traveling during that time you could see the airshow from our room!

I hit it lucky because this was a new hotel. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, bagels...etc. Nice selection and not just one day. I wasn't thrilled with the television channel selection only because you need to scroll the whole menu but I'm not a big television person anyway. It was just annoying that you can selection a channel and go to it..

Wife and I went up to Lakeland for Sun-N-Fun airshow. Spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Was not your normal hotel breakfast, they obviously cared about the preparation....

Amazing hotel just opened 2 weeks ago. Staff was all super great. Everything is super clean and nice. Breakfast area was fantastic with great selection of juices, cereals, fruit, pancake maker, breads, eggs, potatoes, sausage, etc. Reasonably priced great hotel.

Hopefully the surroundings will improve over time. The hotel itself is shiny new and staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. Seems like only one of the two elevators are operating. Fridge in room. There's a place for a microwave but maybe they didn't get them yet. There was a little road, train, hallway noise but not awful. Not much in the way if restaurants in the surrounding area.
