Toilets are low, if you are a midget or a 3 years-old, you will love them. Terrible TV; channels in and out. Sheets and bedding, average. No fan in bathroom. Room ok. Terrible value. Go0d AC. Military rate discount insignificant and insulting.
Hotel was infested with ants. Were were in the top floor and our entire room was infested with ants. Food and coffee was stale. Mildew smell everywhere. Very unclean environment. I was too afraid to shower while there. Staff tried to use a bug spray purchased from Home Depot which did nothing.
clean.......quiet......pleasant staff........why not 4 towels vs 3? place was clean.....needed minor repairs.......shower trim, door handle.....TV chanels were limited.......A/C worked fine.......for the price it was a great value
Was going to stay at the hotel for two days. Staff were rather rude when I checked in and was asking about the bill. The hotel room was decent to sleep in but I set a few pillows to the side as they had stains on them. In the morning I got up and took a shower. Here is where the horror story starts. When getting out of the shower I heard the door to my room open. Someone was trying to break in and had gotten past the keycard and deadbolt. They were banging on the door flip chain substitute. The person never once called out. They just kept banging on the door, trying to get it opened. My phone was out in the room so I waited in the bathroom. Trying to stay quiet. I didn't want to risk being seen in case they had a gun. Luckily they gave up. After waiting a minute I looked down the hall trying to see if it was maybe house keeping? But no one was in the hall. I went down to the front desk to report that someone had gotten past my key card and so I could change hotels. The desk lady looked confused as I was about someone trying to break into my room. She said the manager was offsite for the weekend. I just wanted off property at this point. A week later, back at home I called for the manager. Making sure to call during business hours. The front desk lady told me they weren't on site and told me to call at an earlier time the next day. I never heard of they found anything about the person trying to break into my hotel room. I told corporate but have never been contacted or told anything about the attempted break in. Please be safe traveling. And set all your locks.
We were thrilled (as was our teen grandson) that he had a separate bedroom from us!!! With a king bed! No entry to his roombut through the main door so no worry if sneaking out. Haha Hotels should do more of these kinds of accommodations! Everything was good, clean and comfy. One of best sleeps ever on the road! Probably because we didn't worry about disturbing him. Good breakfast provided. If had to choose anything to comment negatively, would be towels were a little scrathy. Front desk was friendly and efficient for an early check-in. Thank you. Will go down as 1 of best memories at BW.
Immediately upon entering the room, I noticed it was musty smelling . Why in the world is the kitchenette station right in front of the bathroom? Seriously? Turn right and there's the kitchenette , then bathroom. That's just weird. Nothing like smelling the odiferous scent of the bathroom as you are retrieving your food from fridge. Just too tight of an area. Needed an extra safety bar in tub. Tub bottom was very slick! I almost fell off the toilet when I sat down. It was not bolted down correctly. The bathroom had no exhaust leading to the room always feeling moist. Yes moist. The carpeting in rooms has that moist feeling also. It felt like my feet were on something nasty the whole time. So I had to put my sandals on. Small tv. Pitted rusting lamps. The biggest issue was this: I had to hang my outfits in the closet. It was straight up mildew or mold smell in that closet. I asked the maid if she had some disinfectant spray. She showed me all she had was arm and hammer pet refresh for carpet. Hmmm. So I had to stick car fresheners in the closet to keep my clothes from stinking. If you like hard mattresses, this place is for you. Went to get ice. You had to use your door key card to get ice. Seriously! But no ice in any of the machines I tried. I asked at front desk if they had any ice. Nope. The breakfast was fairly good. But to my astonishment, there was a tip jar! I mean really? No, I don't wanna tip anyone that didn't serve me. The person attending to the food was great. Ty. But I'm tipped out. So the only silver lining was the nice lady at desk at night. You were awesome. Oh btw, the elevator had issues and the lady at desk had to keep going upstairs to press the button to get it back down. Not her fault, but kinda worrisome for me about the elevator failing. Manager told me part was on the way. The worst Best Western I have ever stayed at.
This play was absolutely disgusting. Mold. Dirt in the tub. Linens not clean. Poor circulation/AC. Dust on every surface. One roll of toilet paper. No plastic covering/wrapping on the ONE disposable cup.
Our room wasn't as clean and functional as we would have liked. One lightbulb was broken and we had to request a repair. The refrigerator was smelly and the freezer box was iced over which was holding smells in the ice. On the good side both of these items were corrected quickly upon notification. The cleaning staff could do a little better job of sweeping the room. General areas were good but corners and sides were dirty. The breakfast was great and the attendant was super. Overall we were pleased with the stay...
Booked this hotel 6 weeks ahead of going and have stayed here several times before. I requested an "accessible" room with walk in shower and followed up with phone call, I was assured this was "no problem" but on arrival we did not get walk in shower and was told they were all taken... With leg mobility issues this made stay challenging. But hey, for being a Gold member, we did get a bottle of water!!!
This hotel is old and nasty! It smells, it's dirty, has ants crawling out of electrical outlets and crawling on desks, and the front desk clerk didn't seem to care. It is unfortunate that it was the only place with a room available in the vicinity for my one night stay. I slept fully dressed and got out of there the next morning! This place needs to be leveled and rebuilt!
Was in town for sport tourney. It started by being checked into a room that had a froze out frig that was thawing out and leaking all over the floor and not in a usable state. For that reason, was switch to another room, that took approximately an hour to do so. Then, the morning of check out discovered a bed bug crawling across the sheets, which I presented to staff in bag. Minutes later, I checked out and inform staff that another bed bug was found on pillow. I returned after the tournaments and spoke with manager about my experience and concerns. Manager informed me that my charges for my stay would be returned and would speak with Corporate tomorrow when offices open due to holiday. Also, have a pest service inspect room and report back to me their findings. Next day, manager noted that Corporate would not commit to addressing any ramifications from our exposure other than refunded charges from our stay. Since then, manager will not answer calls or e-mails, have not gotten info from pest control, and not seen a dime refunded.
The staff was very kind and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was delicious and area was kept clean. Location was perfect for our stay very convenient for all our needs. The rooms were very nice and clean with very comfortable beds.
I'm writing this based on several factors. Not a desirable vacation destination, just a stopover on the interstate. It should be priced accordingly. The website shows bacon for breakfast, there's no bacon here. The coffee is weak, you can almost see through it. I believe this is intentional as I heard the front desk speaking about going easy on the coffee when they prepare it. Seriously? The rooms are OK, clean, but lack the USB technology for charging accessories. The televisions are not smart TVs. We are Best Western Rewards members, but we might have to choose a different location next time we're in this area. While I don't expect that my bill will be reduced, there should be additional points added to my account to give me incentive to return.
Stayed on my business trip. Room was clean and had what needed. TV was smaller in size but I didn't really care. Reception people were nice and helpful. Free cookies in the evening was a perk when you come back late and tired. Breakfast room was small but did the job and had OK varieties that you get at most of 3 star hotels. Breakfast assistant was great and always helping guests for their need. Would love to see some vegeterian options for hot items like potatoes. Didn't spend much time on pull or gym so can't comment.
The two people at the front desk were very UNCARING ABOUT ANYTHING. I called ahead to confirm our reservations for an accessible room. When I asked if we could get a shower chair for my husband, the female front desk agent said she had never heard of that. She said they don't have any. I asked her if she could ask the manager and she said he won't be in until Monday, this was Saturday. I asked if she could ask housekeeping and she said they were busy. She clearly did not want to be of any help at all. When we checked in the male front desk person, said someone stole it months ago and they hadn't replaced it. He said that people have to have a souvenir and laughed. I said no they don't and they are putting handicapped people in danger. My husband can't stand in a shower due to foot drop, and 6 back operations. Their attitudes were like they didn't know what they were doing and I felt like i was dealing with teenagers. When we got to the room they had an attached bench in the shower, but these imbeciles didn't know that. When we checked out the same female was sitting at the front desk reading a book. Also, there was a hole in the tile in the shower with a large crack. This is not a hotel i would stay in again.
Great hotel in a nice area, the manager was very helpful. The restaurant guy was also very kind and helpful at the breakfast desk. We enjoyed this stay very much also because if the shops restaurants and so on in this area
Excellent all around. The check-in person was very helpful and actually smiling. And we found the check-out person to be the same. Room was clean and in order. Everything worked as it should have. Very plesant visit.
The hotel is okay if you are looking for a cheap option. The staff won't speak to you much and our room had constant problems with the TV and a bad odor. Also, the bed pillows are the smallest pillows I have seen in my life.
The first room smelled of dog so we were moved to another room. The second room smelled less of dog and more of chlorine, I presume because it overlooked the pool. Housekeeping had failed terribly as there was food in two of the drawers. Food, eating utensils, papers, gross stuff. Apparently being by the pool kept the room moist all the time. Every piece of metal in the room was rusted. The mattress was moldy. (I have photos.) Upon returning home I had to wash absolutely every piece of clothing, every bag, everything, even things we didn't wear, because everything was damp. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Yes, there were some old cobwebs around the windows. Yes, the A/C unit spewed musty air into the room. Yes, the furniture and carpets needed to be updated. But the room was spacious (okay, the bathroom was not). The bed was comfortable. The hallways are unusually quiet for a pet friendly hotel. The free continental breakfast was decent (tiny dining room) and was better than “continental” as there were scrambled eggs and rashers of bacon included. The coffee was actually drinkable. Yes, the water pressure in the showers could be better and the water could be hotter. But overall, it's not bad for the money! This place is dirt cheap and is actually decent value.
The stay was all around horrible. They didn't have our reservation they said for the first night so instead of it being $98 like they could see it was for every night on my reservation they charged us $169. Then they tried to charge us an additional 160.88 because we got there at 5pm and not 4pm. They changed our room from one that had two beds and a couch to one that had just two beds so my oldest son had to sleep on the floor. The room and hotel were not clean. The hairdryer did not work. The fire alarm in our room went off the whole night til the morning when someone could come fix it. Overall not a good stay. We will not stay here again. And the sad part is we go down there once a month for like 4 days and haven't had a problem so the fact that they could see how often we are there and still could help. Is crazy.
The bathroom was moldy, vent filled with overgrown dust, dust in the toilet tissue compartment, hair in the dryer and shower, gnats/other bugs on the wall and desk and spider webs on the AC. I showed the photos/videos to the clerk Bob and his response was “I'm just a clerk. I get paid by the hour, the owner doesn't allow me to do much else and cannot switch out rooms at night”. Please stop back by in the morning around 10am. He proceeded to take notes to give to housekeeping. For such a nice area this was the absolute worst experience.
Great location by shopping areas the krates Near by great shops and restaurants staff is always a pleasure stay here when ever I can very helpful and attentive to anything that you need. Recommend staying here
Headed back up north we stopped here for the night.T he exterior is quite attractive , and inside housekeeping is top notch. Spotlessly clean room made our night enjoyable. We will definitely choose this hotel again when in the area.
The staff was on point for a High School Wrestling team. They had a large variety for breakfast. The fitness room had what our boys need. We travel for 3 straight months every weekend and we stay 90% of the time at Best Western
The hotel staff was unable or unwilling to shut down a group that was in the lobby seating area for 2 nights of our 4 night stay. At 2AM I phoned down and asked the clerk who said she would try to quiet them again. Overall a nice property, but a manager should know better than to allow a group to spend the evening getting louder directly across from the check in desk.
I usually stay at Sleep inn or La Quinta when traveling but after staying here and receiving amazing guest experience with Robin the receptionist, we kept coming back. This place has great parking space on the right side of the building. The parking lot is well lit. Again, Robin is phenomenal! Cookies at the front is a plus, they have coffee and tea. Rooms are very clean, spacious, high ceilings, heater and AC worked great. Instant hot water and clean showers. Prices are great! They don't spike up to the $180's and $200's which was a plus for us this Christmas weekend. 3 days cost us $100 a night and it has been worth it! We did leave and did not get to try the food but the quality of this hotel is great! Definitely returning when we travel again!
The hotel is in a great location and just 2 blocks from I75. I have to say staff was very accommodating. Mattress and pillows were awful. Would I stay there again probably not. Breakfast was good and hot. You could get coffee all hours.
Great staff, very enjoyable place to stay Will be back. Always warm coffee and the chocolate cookies help as well we've stayed here numerous times and will continue as everyone there treats us greatl jay the manager is a real help
Was clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast choices. BUT bath tub bottom very slippery Told manager and suggested non slip stickers be placed on ALL bathtubs! Close to restaurants and shopping. Quiet at night. Overall, other than slippery bathtub, a good stay.
Rooms smell like mildew and mold and the carpets are wet. Was offered another room and the carpets were even wetter. Requested a manager to call me. Not sure why this couldn't have been resolved during my stay!
My first room was incredibly awful - overwhelming musty, damp, swampy smell. I tried to air it out and run the AC while I went to grab dinner. Got back and still could hardly breathe in the room also noticed (and took pictures of) corroded lamps, mirrors, and walls, the bedding was wet to the touch and my asthma acted up, easily leading me to believe there was mold. Called down and the lady was nice and came up agreed the room was wet and offered a different room. Next room was also musty but not as overbearing. I was tempted to ask for my money back and sleep in my car. It was so late and I was jet lagged so I sucked it up but would never stay here again due to the health concerns. I tried reaching out to customer service for Best Western that night and no response (yet).
Large spider web and spider around room air conditioner, carpet was soiled or not cleaned or just needed replaced would not walk bare footed on carpet too nasty. Motel was dated and old, room was musty smelling which bothered me immediately and left the next day. Was going to stay another day but moved to a marriott.
My family of four went to Wesley Chapel to visit friends. We stood at the Best Western and had such a great experience. The hotel was clean, staff was great, beds were comfortable, breakfast was more than we expected and the location was great. We were 15 mins from my friends place. And a 2 minute drive from the Grove Theatre and shops. They also opened up Krates at the Grove where you can eat and drink, listen to live music, watch a live game and come back to the hotel. It was great!
Room stunk mold on bathroom wall shower faucet was falling out of the wall stains on bedding stains on couch and fried chicken crumbs underneath the cushions of the couch lamps and head board were full of dust just totally disgusting
Very clean hotel, comfortable bed and good customer service and the location is perfect if you are going to the epperson lagoon , also the parking lot was space full and the area looks like is very safe
Been staying in Wesley Chapel during certain days of the week since January of 2022 and this was my first at the Best Western. It is a nice, clean, comfortable hotel that is situated close to everything. The front desk staff was great.
This hotel is a Great Value and Very Clean. Great location too. If I could give a 12 I would. I will be back next time I'm in town. Renee at the front desk is awesome. Thanks for the cookies each night!
Service provided by staff, quality of accommodations, and cleanliness of facilities were all outstanding. As good as, or better than, higher-priced hotels. Also, the MOST comfortable be I've ever slept in, at ANY hotel.
It was o.k. but we had a leak in the shower so water went everywhere on the floor when we showered. The thermostat was not working correctly, room not as clean as it should be and would not honor the price quoted.
Good location, easy to get in and out to highway.. room was clean, quiet, and enjoyed the hotel room. Would recommend by us to others, will stay there next time we are in the area..Will have our family stay here also next time we come to the Wesley chapels hotel,
My wife and i made a quick trip to Florida to attend a birthday party. It was down one day and back the next. The Best Western Wesly Chapel fit exactly where we wanted to stay and location. It is located next to a shopping center that offers a variety of shopping and dining. The hotel was being well maintained with a friendly staff. The room was of good quality and clean and comfortable.
Super friendly staff everywhere. You could tell the front desk lady genuinely loved her job and the people she works for. It showed in the way she took care of us. Everyone was helpful and super clean room. Perfect stay.
We stayed at the Best Western Wesley Chapel for my son's soccer game. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was hot and tasty and it provided a great spot to relax. My son is an extremely picky eater and he loved the hot breakfast. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend to others.
This hotel is clean, well maintained, and in a good location. When we used the stairs, we noticed right away that the stairwells are being cleaned regularly and are well maintained. This was just an indicator of the care the owners, managers, and staff are putting into this hotel. The room was great as well.
Excellent value for the price. Clean room, everything you need for a good cost-effective stay. We were very comfortable and Jay (the owner, I think) was at the front desk and was a delight. Business center came in handy with a printer for us to print some docs.
Don't be cheap and pay more money to stay at a nice hotel. I had small roaches in the crease of my mini fridge when I opened it and also had one run across the floor while I was in the bathroom. There were disgusting smear hand marks on the walls and on my headboard. The room decor was from over 30 years ago, old, dirty, with rusty screws. Stains on the carpet. We were also woke up suddenly at 4:00am by neighboring guests banging around. I have no clue how this hotel had such good ratings. It was more along the lines of a Motel 8. So disappointed!!!
Long term humidity problem. $10 dehumidifier on desk in a pool of water. Rusting fixtures. Sticky sheets. Read other reviews, they say the same thing. BW hasn't addressed the probs, I guess. Stay somewhere else. Really. They dont even wipe surfaces down during a pandemic. I have pictures. I've never made a negative review before. Thats how bad this place is. They inspired my first negative review. I can email the pics to anyone that cares.
The only thing I didn't like was the decor was very faded and tarnished, the toilet at base was not what I was use to as Best western Hotel. Easy check in and checkout. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definite stay at this hotel again.
We have stayed at this property for approximately five years in a row. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend this hotel for your stay if you're going to Florida bug jam or traveling through Wesley Chapel.
We stayed at this motel for a funeral. I give it 2 stars, because the staff was friendly, and the room was clean. The motel is shabby, in need of repairs, and really dated. The elevator was super slow, the stairwells stunk, and the room had scraped up, really worn furniture. It is in a very sketchy area, immediately off the freeway. Walls were paper thin, could hear everything going on in the room nextdoor. Not even a pen an notepad in the room. We do not recommend.
We were headed north and this is a nice stop. Easy off and easy on the freeway. Clean quiet room is just what we needed. Friendly staff too ! We will definitely stop at this BW next trip ! Great value !
I cancel my reservation with them about a week before my stay. Confirm with them that it was cancel which it was. Looked on my checking account and they put a hold on my account for a certain amount. We canceled and you still put money on hold in my account for the stay. Have canceled many booking and have never been had a charge hold on my banking account. Will never use Best Western again.
I booked this hotel based on the Viewers Choice award and I was disappointed. First of all I need to give the good points. It is clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, check in and out was quick, breakfast was good with hot and cold options. It is conveniently located near I 75 and many shops and gas stations. The public spaces were nicely decorated and gave a good impression when you entered the hotel. Unfortunately, once you entered the room that impression quickly changed. Everything was clean but everything looked tired, worn and in need of updating. The furniture was scratched and scarred. The upholstered chair in the room was ripped and shredded and the seat sank when you sat in it. The platform that the bed rested on was also shredded and peeling. The lamps had the lowest possible wattage bulbs so that the room looked dreary. One lamp had space for two bulbs but had only one bulb and the space for the second bulb was plugged so you could not put one in to get better lighting. The bathroom was very small and oddly situated. As I said, everything was clean and the staff was very nice but of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our recent road trip this was at the bottom of the list.
This was one of our stays on a 2 week vacation/road trip and I have to say I was very pleased with everything about this motel. From the very accommodating staff to the quality of all the amenities. I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.
Do not expect much more than a roadside motel and you may not be disappointed. I travel for business frequently and needed a last minute stay for personal business... I should have stayed elsewhere due to my hotel expectations. Carpet and upholstery were stained in places, vanity was pulling away from the wall, door jambs were rusted, shower head was clogged with lime scale, walls were cardboard thin and neighboring rooms were clearly audible.
The hotel rooms are seriously run down. There was hair in the sink upon our checking in. The bathroom was dirty. The mirror had rust. The closet was musty. The pillow cases smelled of mildew and urine. We were very, very disappointed. The maid service barely did anything. They did not even vacuum the room. We would not go back until such time as they update this place.
Chose this property because of other reviews. Boy, was I disappointed. Room was not clean...especially floors. Lights were all rusted and dirty looking. Hair dryer did not work. No breakfast to be found in lobby although advertised and no directions on how or where it was available. The morning attendant at the front desk was less than concerned when I told him things in the room did not work. No offer of breakfast or coffee. Very impersonal...which was the opposite of the lady who checked me at arrival. She was friendly, professional and very attentive. Internet was atrociously slow. Overall...less than impressed.
Planned weekend to celebrate 5th anniversary of service club we belong to. Made a weekend of it with fun Friday night and business Saturday. Pool was enjoyed, it was clean and pool deck and chairs were clean and abundant. Check in was very pleasant, room was clean, lobby area and hallways were very clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Close to shopping and evening entertainment too
A well run Best Western with easy Road/Highway access. ADA parking and facility easily accessible for our son and his motorized wheelchair (that can be a big deal sometimes). Staff was quite friendly/personable. Pool area was clean and inviting, the fitness room had more quality equipment than expected. Over-all, exactly what we were looking for and then some.
I checked in and presented my BW Gift cards, I was told that the manager would enter them, In the morning when I checked out I was told that the person that would enter them would do so and I would be sent the receipt. I gave your front desk $140 in gift cards and still received a 35 dollar bill on my credit card. The bill was $135. I called and talked to the front deck during normal business hours and was told the person that could help with this was not there, I was told I would get a call back after I left my number. I got no call. What are you going to do about charging me when the gift cards I printed and presented should have covered all cost?
I had a positive experience at this hotel. The hotel and entire Wesley area looked fresh and new. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate. I did, however, think it was a little pricey (hence the 4 star rating instead of 5) but since I am not a frequent traveler, you can take that with a grain of salt.
Basic hotel that was clean and comfortable. Stayed 6 nights with small kids. Staff was seen cleaning frequently. Pretty basic breakfast, coffee in lobby was nice, pool clean. Easy for food and gas, hwy close for travel.
The staff was great and polite. The free breakfast was fresh and warm. The main issues with this Best Western were noisey AC unit, the door to the room was not hung correctly so we had to insure that it closed whenentering or leaving and the general cleanliness of the room and restroom. We were changed to a new room on our last night and it was better.
We spent 5 days here and I have no complaints. It says that there is a modified breakfast however the breakfast was perfect. the only difference was one of the staff gets the breakfast for you but you still have all the options right in front of you. The pool was open. The gym was not due to covid. But the location of this hotel there are a lot of restaurants and shops that are close by in walking distance so I made up my exercise that way because I was there for five days and I knew I had to have put on some pounds. I was a little skeptical booking because reading the reviews 90% of them were positive and I said to myself this is too good to be true but long and behold it was excellent and perfect. Housekeeping came every morning cleaned up changed our beds they did everything perfect I would definitely come back and would recommend for you to stay here! I didn't get any of the staff‘s names however any time I walk past the lobby come in and we were always greeted the staff was nice also I was able to check in early which was perfect. When I arrive to the hotel there weren't any rooms available and the young lady at the front desk was able to get one ready for me.
The staff was very Friendly. We enjoyed the Clean and very spacious rooms. The Free internet and parking was great. We enjoyed the breakfast and how well the covid precautions where followed. We will stay again in the near future.
great hotel, Robin was wonderful at check in . rooms are clean and in great condition. air conditioner worked great. motel was safe , secure and quiet. computer system worked with out any problems. All employees seemed Cheerful and answered any questions. will stay at again
I came to be in Tampa area from Missouri due to the death of my sister. My niece also flew in from Las Vegas. I really didn't know where to stay, but I decided to give this Best Western in Wesley Chapel a try. My niece asked me where I was going to stay, so she decided to book a room at this hotel as well. When I first arrived, I met the gentleman at the front desk. His name is Jay. I was welcomed warmly and I immediately thought to myself this might be a pleasant stay. I wasn't mistaken. Jay made me feel right at home, and my stress level went down immediately. He then told me that breakfast started at 6:30. I was surprised. With Covid I don't expect a hot breakfast. He told me it was like a buffet, they'd serve it to me, but I'd have to carry my order away from the breakfast area due to Covid. To which I completely understood. I got to my room which had a nice comfortable chair and a king size bed that was wonderfully comfortable. The entire room was very clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the housekeeping staff was very accommodating. My niece was also very pleased with the hospitality and accommodations. It's very close to shopping, restaurants, I-75 and fuel, and very reasonably close to the Tampa International Airport. Jay had a great sense of humor, was so very kind, but was very professional. The day before I left, he asked me if I was leaving tomorrow, and when I told him I was, he was almost saddened to know I was leaving, and it wasn't an act either. I assure you, when I stay in the Tampa area again, this hotel will absolutely positively my very first choice. I hope it's yours too. You won't be disappointed I assure you. To Jay, and the entire staff, thank you so very much.
The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms could be cleaner and the bedding as well. The hotel does need some remodeling especially the rooms to freshen up a little. The towels were super soft which is a plus because in most hotels they are super hard.
I always have a good experience when I stay at this Best Western. Jay treats his guest with dignity and respect. And I feel welcomed every time I have a chance to stay here. I would recommend this Best Western verses any other hotels in the area. Thanks Jay.
Recently spent over a week at this hotel. Couple things from being a better rating, so will start with those. While selecting a hotel I need one with an exercise room, which this one has, but was closed the entire time as Best Western's Covid policy. So that left me with no weights/machines for eight days. They need to update their website so this isn't false advertising. Only other minor problems were the safe battery was dead so my stuff was at risk, but no issues with an honest staff. And due to some lower quality of patrons some were loud in the hallways and left trash all over the place (usually cleaned up the next morning). Also didn't understand why they couldn't add an extra day at the price indicated on booking.com so had to go through the motions on my phone. Why not just take care of the customer who had just spent seven days at that same rate? Rooms here are fantastic. Comfortable. Bed quality is great. Clean. Great space in bathroom. Big desk and good Wi-Fi speed Fan setting that allows white noise. Breakfast was basic due to Covid-19 and served by a staff member who asked you what you wanted from sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt, apples, bananas, toast, couple other things. Nice touch, but they had the waffle maker shut down, which didn't make sense since they could have had these going with a fairly empty hotel. Parking lot has plenty of parking, but is laid out so virtually no one can see their car from their room. The service desk was always staffed and always available for questions. Nice personalities too. Would stay here again and hopefully they get their exercise room back open soon.
It's 11:40 pm and the room next door is playing the guitar, singing and partying. I called the front desk and was told he gives them until midnight. Management doesn't care about how loud 104 is being. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We have stayed here before and this visit was just as nice. Location is great, near highway, good restaurants and shopping. Desk staff great, room spotless and roomy, bed very comfy. Breakfast included, food hot and always replenished as needed. Will be back again on next years visit.
Cleanest, well lit and many security cameras in lot and lot fenced in with limited access..Staff offered upfront parking for motorcycles. Did not have same experience with other hotels in Florida and had trailer broke into and items stolen during our trip.
As one in a group of many. The Best Western Hotel was and excellent choice. As many arrived at the same time. Checking In was short and very smooth. Our rooms were better than expected and no one had to ask for anything. They were well versed of the area and directed us with great ease. We could not find any faults with our stay and will not hesitate in coming back in the future.
I travel a lot. Many hotel stay. This one, room was not very clean, odors, the staff was not friendly at all. Breakfast food was good but the room was very too small which made it way too small. Not much of a gym. I stayed a week and my room was never cleaned even though I asked. The would restock my towels and the bed linens, but wouldn't clean.
Only about 30 minutes from cruise port, which made it really convenient for our stay. Also, many businesses closely, like restaurants, a Walgreens, a little shop Ing mall, all within a mile of the hotel.
check in was great he was welcoming. Made it to the room which could have been better cleaned for the price I paid. Barely had any towels and the bathroom was half ass cleaned. Will not stay again. Bed was so uncomfortable as well as the pillows.
This was an very nice location to stay prior to a cruise from Tampa. Clean, friendly and priced right! The room was clean, bright and the morning breakfast was very good. We will stay at this location the next trip when we are cruising from Tamps.
Road construction near by made it a little difficult to access the entry road to this BW, but it was worth the trouble. The room was huge, exceptionally clean, and the price was right! Lots of things to do nearby; food, entertainment, sights. Exceptional service from Tyler!! Thank you!
Stayed end of December and 1st week of February. 'Full house' both times yet quality remains high: cleanliness throughout, helpful staff. It was quiet both stays, with plenty of parking. Convenient to interstate as well as numerous eating choices- from chains to 'NY pizza'.
Great location near outlets and great restaurants . We are repeater to this location when we drive from Canada we always use Best Western if they are in the location we stop thank you price are at a good rate for us.
Check in/out very well organized. Property well maintained. Cont. breakfast area was very clean and well maintained. We had a great nights sleep. I would recommend this property for a stop on the way to other lower Florida areas.
I will start this review by stating that I have been a loyal customer of Best Western for many years. My husband and I started off our Florida vacation by staying at the Best Western in Wesley Chapel. It was a horrible decision! The first night there I woke in the middle of the night to terrible bug bites on my face, arms and legs. The following morning I checked the bed and found a bed bug. I caught the bug in a cup and brought it to the the front desk. They switched our room and gave us a box of tide so we were able to wash our clothes. That is it. The dryer didn't work and we had to lay out our clothes all over the room to allow them to dry. It was awful! We had to go to the local drug store and buy bug spray to spray our suitcases and bags as well as ourselves. It was a nightmare. When we checked out they seemed annoyed that we had switched rooms and might have infected the second room with the bed bugs. I called the Best Western corporate office to complain about the bed bugs and the lack of customer service at the hotel and they told us a manager would be calling us. A day later the assistant manager 'in training' called to refund us for one night of our stay. I demanded a full refund at the very least! I was in pain for a week. It was an awful situation. I wish Best Western had better customer service and would have done more to rectify the situation so that I wouldn't have to leave a one star review. I expected more from them.
First off, the rooms are nice and it has good amenities like a small fitness center and a non-heated pool. The breakfast was exquisite, lots of variety. Now the problems: the walls are thin. You could often hear people talking late at night, and when they kept going on and on, it was annoying. And then there was some deranged person who brought (in the night manager's discernment) a dangerous dog (night manager said probably a doberman pincher) to a hotel that doesn't allow pets at all. Unable to get a response from the room, the night manager found the last available room for me and moved me there, which I truly appreciated. The hotel could use a security guard for these kind of things though. Apart from those things the stay was good though. I was going to lake como for the naked bash and although it was about 10 miles away it was close enough
We have always stayed at this location everytime we're in the Wesley Chapel area. We always have a pleasant stay. Accomodations are nice, clean and comfortable rooms. The only thing I would like to see improved are the bed pillows. We had a kind size bed with four tiny pillows. I wouldn't even consider them standard. Other than that staff is always very friendly and everyone you encounter is professional and kind. Will recommend to friends and family staying in that area.
The whole thing is deteriorating despite some obvious cosmetic renovations. The elevator is scary, the breakfast is sad, and everything is really dated. The bathroom had no towel rack. The pillows are these sad little squares and they only give you 4 for a king bed. Bring your own pillow.
We previously stayed at this BW and did not have a good experience. Mr Patel invited us back and the difference was exceptional. The wife and I had one of the best night sleep ever, peace and quiet, WOW. The staff was very courteous (Tyler and the check out clerk). Spoke with Mr Patel who was preparing an excellent breakfast. Told him that we would be back. Thanks again J for making our second iteration a pleasant one. See you next time.
Stayed 3 nights and i will definitely stay again. Hotel was very clean and i felt very safe. Wonderful staff who goes the extra mile to help you in any way. Great location. Free breakfast was very good, loved the waffles. Clean rooms with a lot of space. Did not use the pool but it was clean. I have nothing bad at all to say about this best western. Beds were very comfortable and i slept very well. Fresh cookies and popcorn every evening was a plus for my 3 year old daughter.
The motel was recently renovated, and was suffering from a lack of either either experienced or sufficiently trained personnel. The elevator apparently malfunctioned the night before my check out resulting in my having to make two trips on the fire stairs with my luggage from the third floor.
We needed a place to stay overnight for our trip to Wesley Chapel Florida. We were delightfully surprised with the accommodations at this hotel. Our room was large and clean. The bed was VERY comfortable. The hotel provides a free breakfast. We will consider staying at this hotel when we return to Wesley Chapel.
Not recognized as an Elite member, no gift, points, or room upgrade offered. Room missing light bulbs, toilet paper roll holder, and FIRST BW ever stayed to not have microwave. Wesley Chapel BW is off the list of BWs to do overnights.
Hotel room was clean aside from a musty odor and loud noise coming from the air conditioner. also the bathroom floor was wet , room was very hot. Breakfast was good.Staff was very polite. overall had a great experience The area had lots of restaurants to pick from as well as shopping nearby.
Nice hotel. Clean hallways. Fast checkin. Wonderful breakfast. Hot shower. Nice pool. Great location lots of shopping and resturants all around. Close to Tampa. Out of way of all the Tampa traffic. Only downfall was the room wasn't the best and the beds were very hard.
The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and as expected. There were some amenities that were a nice extra such as the fridge in the room. The only "negative" was the quality and selection for breakfast but honestly it was what was to be expected for a free hotel breakfast.
i stay at best western hotels whenever i travel. They are always clean and have very nice and helpful employees They always have a nice word to say and assist in any issues that may come up. I can actually say i've made several good friends because of my stays
My second stay in this motel in the past year. Last year would say it was much cleaner. Pillows need to be thrown away! Lumpy and square. Went shopping and bought 2 pillows. Staff was extremely efficient. Maid offered to change pillows but what she gave me was the same.
Stay at this property was nothing else but amazing. Check-in was done in a heartbeat. Tyler was truly a nice guy!!! Highly recommended. As a BW Diamond member, this hotel has been added to one of my favorites. Definitely returning when back in Tampa area.
Excellent service clean rooms nice staff every one was great. Good stay I would stay there again. Friendly people. It was so quiet not nosey like most. Had a wonderful stay.Had a wonderful breakfast. Clean pool
It was a great experience. The room was in excellent condition and smelled terrific. The front desk man name Tyler was accommodating and friendly and the overall experience of the hotel was fantastic.
We stayed for 3 days. I have never been to a hotel with complementary breakfast where there was a tip jar..very tacky. Our room was very humid..as I you hang a bathing suit to dry and it won't. Towels can only be used once because they can't try. The last morning we noticed that housekeeping had a large door across from our room that they like to keep open during the day. That kind of explains the humidity in the first floor. The hotel itself seems worn and in need of updates. The pool area is also a designated smoking area. Unfortunately if you want to find a shady spot at a table while out at the pool you may need to wait for staff to finish their smokes first. We had high hopes because of the great reviews on TA but we're very disappointed. I would look for a different hotel if we came back to the area.
I ejoyed staying at Best Western Westly Chaple becasue the staff was extremly friendly. The person at the desk when we checked in and the lady at breakfast. I felt like part of the family. They even upgraded my daughter and Me into the only Suite they have which was amazing.
We stay at this Best Western every time we travel to Wesley Chapel or vicinity. It is always a very pleasant stay. The beds and pillows are very the room is clean, the breakfast is good, the front desk is very attentive to your needs. We have never had any issues with this hotel.
Divine at front desk is super awesome! Comfy beds clean hotel. Breakfast is awesome. Pool is great. Love the cookies and coffee in the lobby. Housekeeping was very nice. Newly remodeled and nice and quiet.
Excellent value. The hotel entry, lobby, breakfast area and room were clean. The parking lot was well lit. We didn't utilize the pool but it looked inviting. The offerings at breakfast were plentiful and the coffee was top notch. This is our second time in Wesley Chapel and we chose the BW for both stays.
The hotel is centrally located to food and shopping areas. When we checked in the front desk clerk offered valuable information on places that we could eat, offered some recommendations as well as some of the local hot spots for shopping.
Clean room. Very comfortable beds. Easy check-in & check-out. Everything just as my reservation had said. Good breakfast which was kept well-stocked. Easy access right off expressway. Would definitely stay again.
We had driven all night and arrived at this hotel at 8:30 am. I went in and told the desk clerk that I wanted to reserve a room for the night and would like to check in as soon as possible. I also have a service dog and a coupon. Can you help me please? She was very friendly and went to work right away to find an appropriate room that was vacant. She found one that someone had just checked out and called over a housekeeper that was just arriving for work. She asked the housekeeper to clean this room first and suggested we get some breakfast and she could get us registered in about 30 minutes. True to her word, we returned in a few minutes and she was able to get us checked in. She really went above and beyond her duties to accommodate us and did it all with a smile. The room was very nice and comfortable and clean. Enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you.
The only place to stay in Wesley Chapel. Great hospitality with clean modern accommodations. Friendly staff that makes you feel comfortable. Fresh popcorn and homemade cookies are like being at grandmas.
Our stay was excellent. We were there for 6 nights And we enjoyed the breakfast we had there, the hotel was fancy and clean. The people who assisted us and spoke with us were extremely friendly, it truly made us feel welcomed.
This BW location was very clean and well managed, the pool was great, the staff friendly and courteous.Breakfast was great. This is also a good area to spend part of your vacation, alarge selection of local restautants and shopping.
VERY CONVENIENT-many shops and eateries-rooms are narrower but bathroom wonderful. Sink in the bathroom not outside. Closet roomy, length mirror. Air conditioner a little noisy. Tv reception poor on some major channels.
Clean, friendly hotel. For the price there were no complaints. Good breakfast in the am with lots of options. Convenient location right off the highway. We did not use the pool as the weather was a bit cool during our stay.
Very nice experience.we liked the room. Very good breakfast. The location is good, very close to shopping and the Highways are ver closed. the only think that I don't like it was the internet need more speed
BW of Wesley Chapel is nice. Clean, friendly staffers, easy to find and get to from the highway and located within a 15 minute drive to a lot of shopping and restaurants. No complaints about the hotel itself... our bed were comfortable, the shower pressure OK, always had enough fresh dry towels, and the 24/7 tea/coffee station in the lobby is a nice bonus.
Bedbugs!!! Wife and I covered with numerous bites. Stayed two nights in separate beds in early March. Pointed out our bites to front desk and they said they don't have that problem. Interesting............although they did take pictures of our bites!
Needed a place to stay a couple nights while taking in the local Tampa sights. Just far away enough to miss the crowds and traffic close enough to see the many attractions in the area. Easy off and on I-75 just 25 miles from Hard Rock Casino , several spring training stadiums, best beaches and many other Spring Break / Snow Bird favorites. Clean hotel Best Western, Wesley Chapel and clean town! Average hotel as BW ‘s go no issues but nothing that stood out. Price higher than normal but considering the events going on it was competitive. Very average cement pond pool, no shade and smokers used it for a hideaway, also the dining area window was overlooking the pool? Hotel needs some upgrades, a little dated; however had plenty of parking and a good breakfast with a fine lady, Preslin the attendant my employee of the facility! At that though they have the room if they just expanded the dining area , very crowded this is a busy hotel because of the location! I recommend this property and think you won't be disappointed.
The first room I was in smelled so strongly of cleaning products that I had to ask to be moved, which the front desk staff member did easily enough, even though it meant I would have to switch rooms the next morning as it wasn't available for a second night (they ended up switching things around so I was able to stay in the same room the following night after all). The second room was much better. Everything was very clean, the fridge, microwave, and AC unit worked well, and the bed was a little firm but comfortable. They have a nice fitness center too. The breakfast is typical Best Western breakfast, and includes hot sausage or bacon and eggs (the eggs are powdered, however, so NOT ok for a keto diet (which is a bummer). The only minor complaints I had is that the desk chair is uncomfortable and pretty rickety (hard to sit in for more than a few minutes to do work), and the towels and wash cloths are surprisingly thin - much raspier than what I usually expect at a Best Western. Water pressure was ok, and the shower head's multiple flow settings worked pretty well.
The room reeked of what smelled like disinfectant. Bringing it to the attention of the desk clerk did not resolve the problem. Lee always smelled of elevator lubricant, which was much more pleasant by comparison.
This hotel is clean, located close to the interstate and a quick drive to attractions in Tampa such as Busch Gardens and USF. Good breakfast and clean area. A good option if you can't get closer to your Tampa attractions.
Wife and I checked into Best Western as a place to stay whill visiting friends in the area. The check in process was quick and smoothe as well as the check out process. The breakfast was better than the average Best Western. Everything else was on par for a Best Western Motel.
This hotel was excellent. Very helpful staff. Room was very clean with extra comfortable beds. Also had fridge. Breakfast was delicious. Great location. Will definitely stay here again. Price was very good. Truly enjoyed our one night stay!
Stayed for 7 nights in order to golf in the area. This hotel was in a great area for a golf trip. The hotel was a great value and the staff was helpful and friendly. How absolutely staff here again!! Near plenty of great and reasonably priced golf courses.
Tyler fixed reservation problem. clean room, fast service , everything worked , easy parking, breakfast was kept supplied, will stay here again next year. ice machine was out of service on the 2 floor
I provided my amex card to pay for my stay and I was charged twice and when the second transaction was rejected for security reasons the reception desk person was very loud and somehow menacing. was truly scared and I had to provide my debit card. I wanted to leave as I feared for my safety. I have disputed all charged transactions. It was awful and I was late for my return flight to New York. It was a horrible experience.
Staff were friendly. Room was OK. Could hear everything in the room next to us and they were up until 6am. The hotel seems a bit dated. Fridge is very loud and keeps you awake at night, along with the neighbours.
Worst Best Western we've ever stayed at. Dirty room, toenail clippings on the floor by the chair, mirrors with something on them, do they ever dust? Poor, no I mean POOR customer service with three different people so kind of a trend here. 2 night stay prepaid and they tried kicking us out after day one, our key cards were cancelled. Don't eat the breakfast unless you like greasy scrambled eggs and sour milk, yeah they said oh sorry we were trying to use it up. WiFi?, yeah slowest ever and when we asked about it the less than friendly desk person said good luck, its always been slow, they wont upgrade, so yeah 1-3 mbps is high speed here. Worst BW ever, owner must be a real cheapskate, if this is the new BW count me out.
This hotel was comfortable and clean. You are welcomed warmly when your first step into the lobby. fresh popcorn and cookies are available every evening. Rooms are clean and smell good. The beds are a little high for a vertically challenged person. The morning breakfast includes waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurts, danish, donuts, coffee, juices and they switch between bacon, sausage and ham for meats. The hotel manager was very nice and friendly. I will definitely be back.
Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Excellent water with outstanding water pressure in the shower. TV had great reception and very clear picture, many channels. Staff were both friendly and helpful - nice people. Room had small fridge, coffee pot and blow dryer. The only negative is it did not have a microwave. AC was quiet. I was on the second floor toward the back and there was no noise and the room was very dark for sleeping. Though I left before breakfast was served (6:30 a.m.) I looked around and it appeared to have just about anything you would want - not just coffee and rolls.
Was very nice great people fast check in great food plenty of food options pleasant people very clean rooms all around we like best Western fast check out like when arrive I am giving my basket of goodies
Not sure if this hotel is new, but it seemed new. Had a little problem located the hotel. The Employees were terrific. Check in clerk made sure we had adjoining rooms. Breakfast had hot items,,,fresh eggs, properly cooked. And lots of pastries and of course waffles. Hotel is located far enough away from main roads, so it was quite.
GR8 place to stay - Excellent Quality at a Cost that represents Value ! . . . Breakfast was excellent, Room was very clean & comfortable. 24 hour free Coffee, Popcorn & Fresh Baked Cookies in Lobby-Bonus ! . . .
We stopped at the Best Western in Wesley Chapel, Christmas night on our way to south Florida. The price was reasonable and check in was a breeze. The guy at reception was very helpful. The room was nice and very clean. We couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely stay here again it the future.
Stopped here on way to visit family for Thanksgiving. Convenient location right off of I75 but not too noisy. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Room was extremely clean and bed was pretty comfortable. Less than $100 which was lower than other hotels in the area.
2nd time at this hotel. Pretty decent little spot with easy access to the highway. Lots of amenities around if anything is needed. Fitness center was small ,but enough to stay fresh while away from home.
We stayed here one night due to a problem with flooding at our house here in Wesley Chapel.. Smelled clean, looked clean. Beds were comfortable. I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. Staff was great. You will not be disappointed.
Great place to stay if you are in the area. Always clean. Always friendly. Great breakfast and it's free.Clean pool with towels provided. Central to shopping and a variety of restaurants. Easy highway access.
Checked into this hotel on Thursday Oct 19th. Rooms are clean and ok. Breakfast is filling. On the 2nd night went to my my room to sleep and the nosiest set of people checked into the room next to me. I could hear absolutely everything they did and say. I can apprecite people enjoying themselves however I had to call the front desk twice about this couple who was having absolutely LOUD SEX continuously the whole night. My husband and I got no sleep at all. We were so tired from just hearing them and when I went outside to check their room number they were so loud in the corridor. When we got up at 7am because we could not sleep they were still at it. Never had I ever experienced anything like this in my life. I advised the front desk that I would be needing a room move if those guest were not checking out. Cant blame the guest thou, because that's what they paid their money for. Just a note to the management, I suggest you make those walls a bit more thicker because you do have kids staying at you location. Apart from that everything else is fine
We stayed here for 7 nights and I was relatively ok with the hotel. The staff was excellent and so very friendly. The rooms definitely need updated. The paint on the woodwork in the bathroom was in dire need of repainting. The shower left something to desire. The shower head was old and needed to be replaced. There was NO bath mat in the shower. It was extremely slippery in the tub. The soaps and lotions were nice. But like I said, this hotel needs updated. The floors were so dirty. Especially the ceramic tiles in the bathroom and the hallway of the room. We stayed off season and paid $76.00 plus taxes per night. I have stayed at better places for less. I do not believe I would stay there again.
Best Western Wesley Chapel is an Oasis along the I-75 Corridor. The hotel is pleasant, warm and inviting. Hotel management and staff are outstanding. You are made to feel like family and it's the type of hotel you can look forward to your next visit. This is an excellent business location and my attitude is “Hats Off” to all involved. Highly recommend Best Western Wesley Chapel.
I stayed there for a business trip for 3 nights in August. I must say the Hotel offers a good value for the price you pay. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was amazing. The only one issue I had was the Breakfast menu was limited ( if you didn't consume meat) and the eggs didn't appear fresh. I am sure the management will fix these minor flaws going forward but overall I would recommend this place.
My family and I recently stayed here for a week. The price was great for the service. The room was clean and the cleaning ladies were very detailed and friendly. We traveled with a service dog so we were always in the room when they came in. They always interacted with my family. The hot breakfast every morning was great. Breakfast consisted of eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, waffles, pastries, fruit, yogurt, choice of bread. We didn't spend a dime on breakfast the whole time we were there (except for the daily tip). We saved quite a bit of money (we're a family of 4). The fitness room was always clean and has about 5 machines to work out on. I was always the only one there whenever I went. My daughter and I enjoyed the pool every day we could (it rained a lot) and it was nice to just relax and sunbathe. The staff was always helpful and even offered me a second dryer session when the first one didn't dry as well. The laundry room is coin operated ($1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry) and there's only one washer and dryer on the first floor (not sure if the upper floors had a laundry room as well). We were located on the first floor because of our service animal and used both the front and back doors constantly. There is 24 hour (great tasting) coffee on the premises along with popcorn and warm cookies in the evening. The location was conveniently located in Wesley Chapel and very close to some shops and eateries. There was always parking when we came back late from sight seeing. We are looking forward to staying again in the near future.
The biggest problem was the room was not clean. There was something sticky on the table that was obvious. A piece of what looked like left over red gummy bear stuck to the floor right when you walked in. There was what I believe Pringle potato chips on the floor and some like bread crumbs in front of the fridge. A spot of black on the top of the toilet seat and hair on the tub and toilet. It looked like black mold all around the cable hook up. We couldn't close the black out curtains because they cover up the air conditioner vent and then the room got too warm(we had the air on 64)
I was looking for a reasonably priced, conveniently located and quiet hotel in Wesley Chapel to spend a few days. After conducting research on the hotels in the area, it was clear that Best Western was the best option for me. The hotel is walking distance from the Grove where stores like Ross, TJ Maxx & Ulta are located, there are also a few restaurants within walking distance. Wiregrass mall and Tampa Outlets are about 10 mins away by car and Tampa is about 20 mins away. The rooms are adequately maintained, though I detected a slight musty odor in the hallway and in the room. Breakfast was included in the price of the hotel, which was a definite plus and there was a decent spread of eggs, ham, toast, cereals, juices etc. Warm cookies were available in the evening and a pop corn machine was located in the lobby area along with coffee, tea etc. Interacting with the staff was mostly positive, however, I had the privilege of meeting Jay one day and he was extremely pleasant and courteous. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, I enjoyed my stay and my expectations were exceeded.
Conveniently located, surrounded by restaurants, movies, parks & just 35 minutes from Tampa. The hotel was clean, up-to-date & quiet and the Staff was excellent. I will stay there again the next time I visit my family.
This is a 3 Star hotel on steroids. Clean, clean, clean!!!! Went to visit family member in Connerton Rehab from East Coast...Port St Lucie. Booked with Ms. Divine over phone direct. Checked in 4 hrs before time. Jokingly asked for 1st Flr, poolside, told to come back/or wait 30 min for room availed. What I got.. What the wish list was. I have worked for Holiday Inn, Sheraton, Ramada for 30 yrs. Divine had no idea! The Free Breakfast is ridiculously great . Ate at Pinchers Seafood near Hotel at Winegrass Shops.. So cool, Happy Hour 3-6 Walgreens, CVS, Publix, all there. August vacation coming up, Tampa area a strong contender.. Thank You Ms. Divine for an excellent experience at a difficult time The Rougeau's
Stayed just one night at this hotel on a work trip. To me, the entire place had kind of a bad smell. However, my colleague said he only noticed it in the elevator and not in his room so maybe it was just me (or my room). Assuming it's not always like that, I would probably stay here again. The staff is friendly and does things efficiently. We had a problem with our bill and it was fixed right away. The breakfast attendant made sure to greet and make conversation with each and every guest (which is good if you like that first thing in the morning, maybe a little annoying if you don't). There was free tea/coffee and cookies in the lobby when we arrived so that was nice. The room was very comfortable. As someone who is always cold, it was great to walk in and not have to immediately adjust the temperature. It was just right. The shower was just as comfortable (good hot water). There were plenty of electrical outlets to plug in my phone, computer, etc. (and they all worked, which I don't find at every hotel). Overall, a pretty good stay.
The room was clean room and comfortable, and they had a good breakfast for us. The price was fair. The bathtub was a little slippery and we could have used a bath mat to make for a safer showering experience.
Great value...much less than local Hampton, Marriott, etc. Super clean rooms, great staff and the wifi was infinitely better than what I've experienced at the others and I spend about 50 nights/year at a hotel...will definitely start using BW
Service was excellent. Staff was very attentive to any needs. Room and grounds were clean and well kept. Location is central to many restaurants and shopping. Easy access to major highways without the congestion of a major city.
Very clean. Courtesy popcorn, cookies and coffee, hot chocolate, tea bar. Staff is so customer friendly and very helpful. Great location near interstate, fast and sit down food, gas, Publix..great location. Clean and not noisy.
AC noisy, sheets were itchy. Could not get to sleep because I was constantly scratching. AC would make a noise like a baby crying when it cycled off. Room was clean and staff were courteous. I would not recommend this hotel.
Room was very clean (even behind nightstand!) Staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast experience thanks to the kind and cheerful lady in charge. Housekeepers always said good morning. Small, but clean, pool area and a pleasant place to sit and unwind. Would not hesitate to stay again.
After 2 bad hotel experiences in the Orlando and Brandon area it was great to see the Best Western logo. Check in procedures were quick and easy, clean room, bed was firm, which I like. It had an exercise room which I used. Breakfast was very good, including my favorite-waffles. It seems that all of our Best Western stays turn out well. I think they will become our go to hotel from now on.??
Easy to get to - close to restaurants and interstate. Main desk person was very helpful. Breakfast was standard - waffles were the best item. Room was clean and ready for me early. Usual good quality I have come to expect from Best Western
Clean and well appointed hotel. Great staff and clear customer focus. Happy hour with pizza, salad and beverages as well as good breakfast. 24 Hour coffee bar and cookies at night made for a great treat. Recommend this property.
Needs some upgrades. Staff were friendly, but room was very small and not well laid out. Foot of bed was right up against the air conditioning unit. I killed a large bug in the bathroom just when we were getting ready to check out. Probably wouldn't have stayed there if I had seen it the night before.
Checked into this very clean, friendly and reasonable hotel for an overnight stay which turned into a 2 night stay. Well appointed room, as well as guest laundry services which was greatly appreciated. This also comes with a complete breakfast in the morning.
Bedding was filthy. They were stained and hair on the blanket under the spread. Two pillow had stains on them. Please check before you actually get into bed. It's a good location, though. Easy in and out.
Stayed here one night. Easy check in. I had a king size bed room. Very nice and clean. I liked the comfortable chair with foot rest. Quite a large room. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Very good free hot breakfast. Excellent check in staff. Seems a little far from the beach, so it might not work for more than 1-3 nights. But it is close to I 75 and lots of stores and food nearby.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. Resteraunts within walking distance, and a large selection of shopping nearby. Also, close enough to the beach (1/2 hour), hiking trails and Tampa's attractions.
This is a very clean and well maintained hotel. The staff is very helpful and polite. We enjoy staying at this Best Western because of the staff and the value. The breakfast is also very good and I always get the fresh popped popcorn in the lobby.
Would have been a nice value if we didn't have to change rooms three times. Toilet backed up, loud and noisy air conditioner. The manager was helpful and gave us a discount on our room. However, this was a recommended hotel near to a function we were attending and not the type of hotels I normally stay in.
Usually best western is where ill stay while inflorida. This time was for business. The hotel is off the way, very quiet location. The room i got was very o.k.. it was clean, everything was working properly. Didn't have to call for anything. Front desk was very helpfull. 4 stars for the lady in the breakfast area.Very sweet person,???? Hallways and the rest of hotel was very clean and well maintained. Overall satisfied with my stay.
I have been traveling for business and arrived to visit family in Tampa to find a few sick with colds. I immediately called BW as the back-up plan and am grateful for a few days to have clean, beautiful room, internet and great breakfast. Lucky to get a room as they are often sold out...location was convenient to Tampa!
This charming (and quiet) Best Western, though small, is a best kept secret. Conveniently located near restaurants and shopping and the interstate making all parts of the Tampa Bay area easily accessible. The hotel itself is reasonably priced, and Brandon, the desk clerk on duty during our stay, exemplifies customer service. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to the Tampa Bay area.
Made a reservation for a handicapped room with a roll-in shower. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who assigned us to the exact room we were promised. The motel was clean, comfortable, and appealing. The breakfast was very nice and had a wonderful lady who was in charge of it. She was friendly to all. The price of the motel was good value for the services we received. We recommend this motel!
This hotel was referred to a family member who came from Illinois for me and my husband's wedding. Very nice! Great customer service and very clean. They had a vending machine and a soda machine, laundry room and much more.
for what we paid, we expected a generic room with staff that hopefully would not cause any problems. Instead we got one of the best staffed hotels I have ever been too. The room & most importantly bed, well exceeded my expectations.
Overall a decent hotel, but I was very disappointed with the condition of my room. The bathroom was not properly cleaned and signs of poor maintenance/wear and tear were apparent throughout the room. I almost always stay at best western when travelling domestically and expect better from their properties.
Expect and receive the Best Western standard of customer service and room quality at this location. Nice and fresh establishment. Good friendly staff and good wifi speed in-room. Easy spot to drive to from airport.
Throughout the years, due to repairs or construction in our house, we have had occasion to stay in hotels in Wesley Chapel, just a 15-minute drive from our home. At the end of March, we returned from a 4-day road trip to find a broken pipe had flooded our house. After a very hasty search for the most inexpensive hotel around, we ended up in the Wesley Chapel Rodeway Inn - which we cannot recommend unless you have no other choice. A more thorough search a couple of days later revealed the neighboring Best Western for the same price. When we arrived at the Best Western at around 11:00am on a Sunday morning, way before the check-in time, the nice young man at the front desk (I believe his name was Jay) very kindly let us check in early, which literally made our day. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we had a great stay. The free breakfast was very good and quite complete, and kept well supplied by a very kind and sweet lady who greeted us cheerfully each morning. We will definitely stay there again!
The stay at this hotel was great especially since we took a day off from our hectic travels to stay for a bit. The manager was even on duty on Sunday in the Breakfast room helping customers, especially with internet and computer issues. We thought this was a great idea. We did have an opportunity to use the pool and except for some smokers on the deck it was enjoyable - secluded.
This hotel is convenient to great shopping and food. Front desk is the best. Even minor issues have always been immediately addressed in a courteous and efficient manner. Great food within walking distance. Have stayed here as a solo female and have always felt very safe. Highly recommend this hotel
Overall, had a fine stay at this hotel aside from dealing with Devine, the AM Front Desk Service Employee. Not sure what myself and my colleagues did to make her despise us so much during our 45-day work stay, but she was incredibly unpleasant to us. Whenever I requested items from her, she would not respond or look at me, just handing me the items with annoyance. At one point, she got mad at one of my colleagues for requesting a complimentary water bottle, saying that if she didn't go buy the water bottles, we'd have nothing to drink. It got to the point where dealing with her was so uncomfortable that I just wouldn't ask for her assistance with anything and wait until the afternoon when I could ask a different employee for help. I would not return to this hotel, simply because I have no desire to ever deal with someone so rude ever again.
The place was very comfortable and clean. We booked the two king suite rm. 312. Good price for the large suite. The staff was very friendly. The pool was very clean and having 3 ft. on one side was very good for my friends 4 year olds. The only problem is that we had a hard time finding it without GPS.
Best western is always my first choice of hotels there rooms are exceptionally clean with always a friendly staff to assist you with any concerns or questions & In the morning the breakfast is presented tastefully check out is painless *****
My family loves this hotel. It is clean, fresh, modern and the staff is always courteous and helpful. The beds are feel like new and are always tip top. The breakfast is hot, and is kept replenished; never any waiting for more eggs!
Stayed at this hotel overnight while traveling to southwest Florida. The hotel was very clean and fresh appearing and the staff was pleasant. Also the room was very clean and comfortable. There were two restaurants within a ten minute walk.
I travel quite a bit and this was the greatest stay at a non resort hotel. Every staff member was wonderful. They had popcorn and cookies in the afternoon and a wonderful hot breakfast in the morning. I will definitely be back over the next several months. The only downside , if any, was I had to bug the front desk staff to unlock the breakfast room every time I had to microwave a baby bottle. If they had a microwave in the lobby or in the room on top of the refrigerator that would have been great. The staff never minded letting me in the breakfast room.
We evacuated to this hotel for Hurricane Irma and ended up needing to stay for 11 days. The staff was THE BEST before, during and after the storm. They never lost the sense of hospitality. The coffee stayed hot, and the cookies and popcorn were super nice touches. The hotel and grounds were kept very clean. The room was quite large, well appointed and clean.
Clean room and public areas. Was a fair price for the stay. Breakfast area is too small and options are limited. The powdered eggs are gross. All but a lady on morning shift (Sept 30th) was friendly. She acted like I inconvenienced her when I asked her a question. She was reading so how dare I? Location is near many things including Sleep Inn across the street. My brother stayed there and said it was very nice. I only went in the lobby area and it appeared nicer.
We needed a room due to Hurricane Irma. While other hotels were price gouging NOT Best Western...The room was very clean, Customer Service was above and beyond our expectations, Amenities were also very good...I will / would give Best Western a 5+ rating !!! Again in a time of need due to a natural disaster { Hurricane Irma } this location { Wesley Chapel } was a 5+ star hotel...I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Wesley Chapel Area. Management / Hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family...I had the privilege of working with the staff on duty. A Big THANK YOU to Jay { Mgr. } and Brandon { front desk } We can not Thank Them enough..
We made these accomodations not knowing the outcome of hurricane Irma. The staff was extremely helpful and reassuring during this disaster. The General manager Jinesh Patel went above and beyond his duties. I highly recommend.
Stayed there one night and have to say was positively impressed. Fast check in, clean room and good breakfast with friendly lady serving us. Definitely to recommend if you look for a good place to stay and don't want to spend a lot of money.
I would not stay at this place as it was not clean, etc. had to change rooms , they were agreeable to accommodate that for me but new room was just a little better. Did lie to me about a situation and was upset about that.
We have stayed at other hotels in the area and this has been our best stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We'll stay here again for sure. Nothing fancy but great value and great service. Breakfast was actually breakfast, a nice change.
We enjoyed one night here. The room was nice and clean. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. There was complimentary coffee during the day, popcorn and they had some cookies in the afternoon. Although they had breakfast, we did not have breakfast as we had plans for lunch. Would stay here again when in the area.
One of the best values in a hotel stay that I've ever had. Friendly, attentive, accommodating staff; clean room and pool. Great breakfast; food and service. I don't know if I'll ever be that way again, but this one will be on my list of good ones. I have traveled quite a bit, and anyone who has knows it's a "pig-in-a-poke" trying to get both an affordable place and a nice, clean comfortable one. You're also near enough to a Metro area that you can find what you want, but you're in a small town atmosphere; away from traffic, crime, noise and pollution.
My family stayed here for three nights in July. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower water was hot, and check-in and out was easy. Breakfast was nothing to brag about but most complimentary fare isn't. I think, for the money, this was a good place to stay and I would stay here again.
First of all, the staff were all very friendly. We were offered an early check in since we arrived earlier than expected and there was popcorn and cookies in the lobby to snack on that were great! The hotel was clean, offered a goreat breakfast, was in a great location near plenty of stores and places to eat, and had plenty of area to park in. I honestly don't have anything negative to say, it was a great experience and we will be returning soon to stay with them again. Great Job!!!!!
We had an excellent stay. It was last minute and late. My family and I enjoyed staying there. Breakfast was good and people were nice. Hotel was clean and quiet. I would defiantly stay there again. Thank you!
A very nice, clean and comfortable facility deserving of the Best Western Plus designation, staff was kind and helpful, beds were comfortable, great location near restaurants and shopping, good choice of breakfast items, food and drink were quickly refilled as necessary.
This is a wonderful place with good price with being a BW rewards member also provided additional savings. Listening to other guest also confirmed my opinion. I look forward to being able to stay longer on my next trip.
Room was very nice, as what I have come to expect from the Best Western hotels. I arrived late in the evening and hoped to sleep in the next morning. Place was packed with people, but did not hear lots of noise in the hallways even though there were lots of children. Breakfast area was crowded, but staff kept up with the food and drinks. Staff made dinner suggestions that were spot on!
Best Western has yet to disappoint me and my family. Best Western Wesley Chapel is definitely one of the best ones we have stayed. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Very close to all amenities. And housekeeping was fantastic.
Nice hotel and location. The staff was courteous. The rooms did have a slight odor of the cleaning material on the strong perfume side. Otherwise was clean and presentable. Overall it was nice, quiet and well equipped with a fridge, microwave and blow dryer; if you need those kinds of things.
Very nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Friendly staff and a full breakfast included makes this hotel a great experience. Wonderful stay for a great value. The decor is either newly updated or this is a new hotel.
We needed to stop after driving 11 hours to get home and still had a couple of hours to go. We were hungry and tired. This was on the way and it was a nice hotel and was close to a lot of places to eat. Very happy with our stay
my friend and I were very happy with this hotel for our 2 night stay, the bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and pleasant. the location was good and we were very happy with the accomodations. we did recieve a AAA discount and that was helpful
It was conveniently located. It was close to a Cracker Barrel and a Shell station. The room was stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The sink area was big enough for all of our necessities. The bath tub was large and had hot water. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.
The Owner Mr. Patel sets the example of leadership for his employees to follow. The Best Western staff was a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, I was there to look at a home, but in the process my brother passed, in which I had to fly back two more times. My first stay was at the Hampton 20 minutes away, and I changed to BW, which was 5 minutes away, and I never looked back. Recommend to my relatives, and I heard only good things!
Returned to Wesley Chapel, Florida and this is the first place that comes to mind due to previous pleasant visits but two aspects of this stay could were noticed when not right. The king bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious. The beds are similar to the comfortable bedding found in the Hampton Inn, DoubleTree, or the Hilton Garden Inn hotel. Television worked well and the bathroom worked flawlessly except having to flush the toilet twice. Was welcomed by Tyler who is friendly and pleasant plus who recognizes me every time I come here like everyone else except racial and apathetic Divine-one who thinks she is entitled and all that but oh please she only smiles to people of her kind and is friendlier to them is what I have observed but hey it's fine-no worries because I dont care much either. The internet is horribly slow and takes forever to get moving but other than that, the desk is nice to big enough to do what needs to be done with a comfortable chair. The other part of this stay is nice to know my wake up call does not work because the phone is not even connected which has happened a few times I have stayed here. The hotel is walking distance to the Cracker Barrel and the lousy Sleep Inn across the street is fine plus other restaurants, gas stations, and highways are close by.
I am happy to give this hotel top rating. We arrived very late (2:00 a.m.) The desk clerk who let us in was very courteous and efficient. The room was a good size with comfortable bed. And especially important to me was that it included a recliner. Great breakfast and free wifi are always a plus.
Overall, the room was acceptable; clean and comfortable. If you don't care about the friendliness of the staff, then you won't have any issue at this location. When we checked in, there were 2 people on duty. One was very nice to us, but the other didn't seem to even care that we were standing there. After check-in (which was done by a nice young man) we came back to the desk to inquire about using the business center computers and the Wi-Fi access. The other man on duty was very dismissive and did not offer any help. Upon our check-out I asked a question about our loyalty program points being credited; since I had booked this stay thru Hotels.com and not directly thru BW, I did not know if we would be credited for the nights we stayed. The same man was rude when he informed me that we would not be credited and there was nothing he could do about it. I understand there are corporate rules to follow, but they don't have to be administered in a condescending manner.
So you'd think that all the hotels in the Best Western chain conform to pretty much the same standards, and for the most part that is true. However, some B.W. hotels go above and beyond the norm and I think this is due in large part to the staff and the hotel manager. This is one of those hotels. The rooms were super clean, sweet smelling, and extremely comfortable. I could not find one hair in the bathroom and believe me, I looked. The breakfast was very good and I credit the breakfast room manager for being on top of everything, from fulfilling requests to keeping things fresh, clean and appetizing. The desk staff was extremely helpful in suggesting things to do in the area and were actually interested in making our stay as pleasant as possible. A couple of things I would suggest: Make the breakfast time extend 'till 11am, especially on the weekends. Your beds are so comfortable, but I don't want to miss the excellent breakfast. Think about putting one of those signs on a very high pole locating your hotel on the main road. We had a heck of a time finding the place.
Everything about the hotel was great except the housekeeping. We never got any. They came just before we were leaving for the day. We asked them to come back later. This was at 9:00. Well they never came back and then claimed they they returned at 1:00 and couldn't get in. We were 50 miles away. Rooms are new as is the motel. The rest of the people seem to be very nice. We were totally happy except for that issue. Motel is very nice.
A clean, hospitable hotel with a great staff, and a reasonable price. The morning breakfast is wonderful, the rooms clean, and a staff makes you feel welcome as a guest in their house. As a business traveler I wish all my stays were as pleasant as this hotel is.
Good people, clean rooms, decent hot breakfast (I kinda expected fresh OJ in Florida, also the powdered eggs were so-so at best, but the waffles were great and there was fresh fruit) all at a swell price. The cleaning staff always had a hello/hola and smile in the morning, which was really nice.
My overall experience was very good the staff where polite , the lobby was nice and clean and the room was perfect! The bed was super comfy and the breakfast was good. The hotel is centrally located and that far from the attractions. There are several dining places close by.
Great place, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast for the money, nice beds. My only issue was that it was hard to find at first, no good signage on the main drag, but clear that zoning made size of sign small with a number of other businesses in the same situation off that road. But once there, it was great
This was a good, clean hotel for our 3day stay. The bed was comfortable, the pillows a little lumpy, the room and property well maintained and the breakfast was good with plenty of options for our gluten free diet. Coffee in the lobby was appreciated and Di at the front desk was so helpful. We would stay here again.
Hotel met my location and amenities requirements. Good friendly staff; breakfast could use fruits. The pillows were hard to sleep on. Room size was more than ample for a couple to use. Easy access on/off I75.
Tiny pool area. Not much of anything for the price. There are plenty of better options for the money. Prices for my stay were high enough that there should have been a resort experience and all I got was a plain motel.
This hotel was a place to stay close by business we needed to handle. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The internet served its purpose and not designed for those seeking to do anything other than check mail and maybe lite upload and downloads. Parking was free and we had a U-haul Truck and there as adequate parking in the back.
Excellent experience. Friendly staff, clean room, and a quality breakfast. We didn't use the internet service or the gym equipment. We needed a clean room, a comfortable bed, hot water and to feel safe - we were very satisfied.
Requested two queen and got a king. Had to pay ten dollars more even though rooms were there to accomidate The front desk person was not at helpful in any way. The onl plus was the closeness to our upcoming golf outing. Was forced into staying in the area due to delta airlines service failures the previous weekend
The bathroom sink drained very, very, very slowly. There was hair in the supposedly clean bathroom towels. Internet was slow. Will never stay here again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone!!
A lovely BW with fabulous friendly staff. Unfortunately it is not really near anything with no restaurants nearby or places to go. There is a swimming pool but it is small. Breakfast is enough but you only get a plastic knife and fork to eat with. There was also one day where our room was not made up, bins emptied or towels taken which was a bit of a shock after being assured by reception that it had been done - we had to show her! That all said, the room apart from that one day was always clean, fresh, spacious enough and the hotel overall really okay
The staff are very efficient and friendly. We had a room with a king bed. It was a very large room. Had two desks which was great. Very very clean. Comfy bed! Can't beat the price. Especially with the breakfast every morning (included in room price)
Excellent. Staff was very friendly. Even got cinnamon when commented that they had at my last hotel. Above and beyond service. Have already recommend to a college to stay next time in the land o lakes area. Great location.
Got this great deal on priceline for a few days and definitely a great stay it was. Tyler delivered exceptional customer service and was very friendly in a courteous manner- thank you. I was welcomed to a room that felt like the Hilton Garden Inn with a comfortable king size bed with plush pillows, great working powerful air conditioning, super desk with comfortable chair, good working internet, lots of drawer space, well taken care of bathroom. The hotel is located right off the interstate and near a lot of conveniences such as McDonalds, easy access to I-75, Cracker Barrel, gas stations, and other amenities. It's nice to feel at home with their popcorn, freshly baked cookies, and a choice of tea/coffee. This stay was memorable because I remember watching the presidential election on their main large television on the main floor and it was nice to see president elect Trump win and the other people around were friendly while watching the debate in a family atmosphere. On another note, the service was above and beyond every expectation leaving zero room for any disappointment - thank you- for the wonderful service.
Last year I stayed in this hotel with my husband and it was so bad that we move to Sleep inn This year my husband reserved again at best western I was disappointed at first because we had a bad experience last year but ,we give it a try The hotel smells clean no more odor to old carpet or cigars' smoke The reception and the loby was quiet and the breakfast is better the lady that prepare the breakfast is always on top of everything She remember that I only drink soy milk after I asked her once one day the next day I had my soy milk at the table She also brought out some coffee for a man who was sitting at the swimming pool. The staff is amazing everybody that work here treat you so good that we felt right at home Our room was clean and smell good this time we didn't move to sleep inn It have an affordable price we had a great experience this time
The service was so above and beyond I dare say it helped save my sanity with two very young grandchildren in tow! The manager, Mr. Jinesh Patel, was helpful, kind and expressed a sincere interest in our comfort during our stay. Conveniently located off I-75 and State Rd 54 just behind Cracker Barrel, Outback Steak House, Chuck E. Cheese Pizza and a multi-cinema. Just a short drive to the new Tampa Premium Outlets. Our room was clean and modern with a most comfortable bed. A very nice pool patio. Complimentary breakfast offered a variety of tasty items and great coffee. Kids especially enjoyed the warm cookies and popcorn in the lobby. I also felt safe with all indoor hallways and a well-lit parking lot. I did not use WiFi.
Hotel is quite new. Amenities all good with exception of WiFi/Internet access which is slow at best and nonfunctional at worst. Breakfast is quite good. Staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. With decent Internet access this hotel would rate excellent.
Hotel is conveniently located near I-75. Also located near Cracker Barrel, gas, McDonalds and a shopping mall. Front desk nice and efficient; remembered us from previous visit. Gave us the same room as previous. Room very clean, well appointed, beds super comfy. We always sleep well at this hotel. Don't do the breakfast as we have family in the area; breakfast area small. Haven't used the pool but it is conveniently located. Definitely stay here vs the Sleep Inn across the street as the beds are MUCH more comfy and the rooms are bigger!
rooms were ok, more than adequate for the price. The staff were the most friendly and helpful you could have asked for. Branden gave us great advice and helpful support during Hurricane Matthew, went out of his way to help us when he did not have to. Can't thank these guys enough, made our hurricane evacuation much easier than it could have been.
I travel periodically and one aspect I notice is that not all hotel chains are created equal But I can say that every time I stay at a Best Western they are always consistently great! This particular BW was remodeled a little over a year ago and the attention to detail was astounding...not just a coat of paint, but everything is new and has since been well maintained! Aside from the updated rooms, the employees were friendly/knowledgeable/helpful, the amenities were top notch and the breakfast offered was wonderful! Checkout was super simple, also. I would recommend this particular BW over and over again!!!!!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. It's clean, updated and comfortable with just the right amenities to make any stay convenient. The professional staff is a major plus. Kudos to Divine at the front desk and Jinesh the hands-on GM. Thank you for making our stay so pleasantly easy. My husband and I will be back.
My husband and I had a horrible experience on our vacation trip back home to Tampa. We stayed at a hotel on the water on the Causeway. Long story short, they agreed to refund all of our money only to recharge us and then some, putting us with little money to stay anywhere else. We happened upon Best Western in Wesley Chapel while meeting a friend nearby. Surprisingly enough there were rooms available at midnight (it took us past 10 to get out of the other hotel) Not only was BW cheap but it was CLEAN and well equipped. The decor was nice and the room was decent sized. The bed was comfy ans cozy. The 2 desk clerks we dealt with when we checked in and out were so friendly and the lady attending to breakfast was a doll. These people are class act, personable and friendly. Breakfast was free and good, also We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Wesley Chapel Best Western. You guys rock!
This site is very clean, comfortable, and convenient to grocery and restaurant. I would have preferred a microwave in the room along with the fridge. Brandon at the front desk accommodated by allowing me to use the microwave in the breakfast room. I had neighbors who played their TV rather loud, and started very early in the morning. I mentioned this to Murphy at the front desk that morning, and he apparently said something because the TV did not start until after I was awake.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, and great condition. The full breakfast is well done and a big plus. Staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. I'd stay here again if I ever return to Wesley Chapel or the Tampa area.
air conditioner did not work properly toilet did not flush every time internet was ok hair on tub ledge when we checked in facial tissues missing. just find another hotel in Wesley Chapel and see if it is better
When we first arrived we noticed the carpet in our room hade some small pieces of paper trash… it really was no big deal ,the lady at the front desk came upstairs right away and vacuumed the rug. The room service was good. This just happened to be one of the only hotels in the area that offered breakfast &that wasn't bad either… the lady that took care of the breakfast was very helpful . Overall the service was good and the people were pleasant and I will definitely revisit ????
BW is my go-to chain when traveling and this property lived up to my experiences. Right off the interstate, seemed to be newly renovated with new bathrooms, comfortable beds, spacious room for our family of two adults and two teens. Free WiFi, free breakfast, free cookies and popcorn! Friendly staff, too. 10 minutes from the mall at Wiregrass upscale shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here next time I am in the area.
The only reason fur not giving 5 stars is because the walls are very thin. We stayed several nights while on between homes. Staff is very friendly & quick to respond to any requests we had. Kids stay free and the hot breakfast was great. Popcorn & cookies in the evening were a nice touch. The pool is decent size & pool towels were typical. Clean, good location, easy access to highways.
I just want to say that the front desk reservations gal Devine was absolutely wonderful, she went out of her way to call me to make sure that the room that I had asked for was available. She not only called me once but twice after making sure that everything that had changed was correct. I believe you have a great asset to your hotel, please don't lose her. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, anything from oatmeal, waffles (regular or chocolate) eggs/ham and other breakfast treats. I was really impressed. I would stay there again. Thank you Gladys
Arrived there late... room had weird smell in the bathroom. So tired I didn't care. In the morning we awaked to the door acrossed from our room slamming (stairs). Water was in our "foyer" entry. Not sure if it was coming from our refrigerator or the air conditioning unit in the hallway. The bright spot in the place was the gentleman in the breakfast area. A woman came in with 3 or 4 kids that were sneezing. He offered to make them waffles. Yay! Another good thing was the movie theater down the way...
Great hotel within 20 mins of the venue we were in town for. Very friendly staff and nicely renovated rooms. The pool and breakfast for such a great price were pleasant surprises. My only critique was that the breakfast room was rather small, but understandably they did as much as they could with the room they had. My family enjoyed the stay and I would surely recommend it for travelers passing through the area.
We really enjoyed our stay. We had a suite which was very spacious en modern. Loved it. Breakfast was very good. Hot and variety. The guy at the service desk was very friendly and helpful. There were fresh cookies at certain times and coffee 24/7 and popcorn. Maybe just details but it's nice and makes you feel welcome. Wi-Fi was good! And so were the beds. No complaints. All compliments:)
This is my second stay at Best Western Wesley Chapel. Booked through Expedia at about $75 per night. Good value for that price. Staff are pleasant and attentive. Facilities are renovated, clean. Good breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffles, etc. Nice little pool area. Would stay again if I had to return to the area. Brandon at reception was super friendly and helpful!
It is nothing fancy if you are into fancy, It is very clean and nice and I want that. The staff is really friendly , have a very good breakfast. Eggs , gravy and biscuits, waffles, and other good stuff. The price was very good and affordable. If you like a pool it was very clean also. It is close to shopping and a lot of restaurants and a lot is walking distance. I will stay here again when I am in the area again to see some of my family members.
Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and there was lots to choose from for breakfast. I believe this was the hotel that even had a Keurig in the room. Tampa Premium Outlet Malls not far away. Close in proximity to all surrounding areas.
We chose this hotel because of ratings we saw online. It did not disappoint. We had a problem caused by other guests, and the manager went out of the way to make sure the issue was resolved. She even followed up with us as her shift was ending to make sure we were satisfied.
Good Location Near To The Highway , Room Was Nice With No Complaints , Staff Was Nice And Helpful And Friendly , Breakfast Was Basic But Good And Plenty Full , Plenty Of Shopping And Eateries At That Exit And One Exit Away . I Wouldn't Hesitate To Stay There Again
Best Western Wesley Chapel was not a great hotel to visit This hotel was okay but our room smelled like mold and mildew. The odor was bad! Housekeeping was awful! The front desk night staff was very rude. The pool was nasty! We will never stay here again!
We always stay at the Best Western Wesley Chapel, and are never disappointed. It is always clean as a whistle, and we have everything we need right around the corner. The staff is always friendly, and willing to get you whatever you need.
Excellent people there to help with anything you need. They just need a gift shop to offer food, drinks and etc. Because you have to walk or drive to the store for anything you need. Or make sure you bring your own snacks, drink and anything more you think you may need. That way you can stay by the pool and have what you need there.
Don't stay here. Unfriendly, uncaring staff. Bugs in the beds. Extremely humid air conditioners; clothes were damp when I arrived home from the humidity in the air of the room. Nasty bathroom upon arrival. TV doesn't turn on until after 8:00 am.
We stayed there for a Friday & Saturday weekend. Everything was right about this property. Great place to stay for under $100. Free- hot breakfast-coffee in lobby anytime. Free-fast-stable-wifi. Fridge-microwave-flat screen tv with showtime-soakable tub in room. Pool-gym-self service laundry-internet computers in lobby. Great location next to i-75, many restaurants & shopping options within 5-10mins.
I stay here at this hotel due to it's location to Tampa. Great value and great service. The staff are always very nice and they remember me all the time. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. If you have business in Tampa, this is the place to stay for the money.
We were visiting family for our nephews graduation and this was the best value for our stay. We were lucky to obtain the only suite in the hotel and we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and concerned with the guests. Hot breakfast option every morning, popcorn and cookies in the afternoon. The pool was small but restful. The room/suite overall was great. We would stay here again when we come back.
When we arrived at the hotel, I was immediately impressed with the looks of the establishment. It was clean, up to date and inviting. Parking was free and ample. The entrance was conducive to taking care of incoming and outgoing customers. The main desk was on the right, straight and to the left were available computers for customer use, and adjacent to those was a relaxation area for watching TV, reading, or anything else that might come to mind. Included in this area were cookies and unlimited tea and coffee. Of course, this is standard at Best Westerns, as well as a free breakfast buffet, which has a multitude of food choices, which is plenty to get all ages up and running. The room was clean and refreshing, and the beds were comfortable. There was ample room for three of us. Our room was located on the first floor near the bathrooms, and there wasn't any problems with excessive nighttime noise; but, to be on the safe side, you might want to get a room on the upper levels. I had time to use the fitness center, and, even though it was small, it was well-maintained and had equipment that most people use. The pool area was also well-maintained and the pool was adequate for leisure swimming going from 3 to 5 feet. The staff were very helpful. All in all, for the price, you definitely will get your money's worth.
10 minutes to Lutz and my graduating granddaughter by Wesley Chapel Road and a block or so away from Interstate 75 and my Tampa kids. The WiFi was off and on but we had Tropical Storm Colin the last 2 days of our visit and that may have made a difference. I am 71, 4 feet 9 inches and I could have used a small step stool to get up onto the "bit too tall for me" bed. Breakfast was well done with waffles, eggs, sausage, ham or bacon. There were also juices, cereals, yogurt, breads and pastries, coffee, teas and all kinds of condiments.
I had to check out early and all my questions were answered immediately. I asked for a reference about a food in the area and was helped also. Breakfast is a fine continential. Would stay again in a heartbeat
This was a clean, newly refurbished Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised (as I'm a hotel snob) at the room conditions, lobby and amenities. The General Manager and front desk employee (Brandon I think) were both very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel!
i like so much the Best WEstern Hotel at Wesley Chapel we have stayed over 60 days now.. They are great people, very accomodating and best of all, make you feel like a home away from home. i recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel to stay at.
The folks there are indeed friendly but they are not willing to assist you in simple things like getting at taxi or setting up a Shuttle ride to the airport. When you go to the front desk for help they simply hand you a business card left by some taxi driver. The day before I departed I asked about Shuttle service to the airport and once again I was handed a business card. I think helping your customers especially if they are from out of town is a basic requirement of any Best Western. Made the mistake of sleeping in till Noon one day and because of that my room was never cleaned or made up until the next day. When I called customer services they said there was no one to do the work. They had finished with my floor and I would have to wait until the next day for service. I will not be back there again. I don't consider myself a very picky traveler but I think there are some things that should be considered as basic services offered by a hotel. Check out day and there is no one at the front desk to check us out. The gentleman was preparing the cafeteria for the breakfast crowd. When we called out he came running all sweaty and apologetic of his absence. He explained that he was preparing the food for breakfast. Talk about understaffed!!!
We have stayed here on several trips. So clean and the staff is so nice. We love it ! It is very convenient to so many of the areas around Tampa with really good shopping nearby. And good resturant near also
I wouldnt stay here again for security reasons. Hotel allows men to hang out and bbq in the parking lot. Felt uncomfortable getting out of car. Hotel finds this acceptable.Complained to the front desk but they said they are allowed to do it.
We were heading north after wintering in Florida when we experienced an issue with our motor home just south of Wesley Chapel. Fortunately, a Park's Ford was able to determine the problem and had the part in stock. While awaiting service, we had a day to explore the area which is quite lovely. Our stay required two nights in a hotel, and we found the Wesley Chapel Best Western a perfect accommodation. The room is clean, extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated and reasonably priced. The morning breakfast has an ample variety to choose from as well. The staff is very accommodating and the breakfast hostess was able to direct us to The Shops At Winegrass where we found the bookstore we needed in addition to many choices for lunch.
This was the 2nd time I had stayed at at the Wesley Inn. It is usually relatively clean, breakfast is the usual "free" breakfast, staff not overly friendly but do their jobs. This time though, I had a very bad experience of my Jewelry being stolen from my closed suitcase in the room at this location. Be careful if you stay here.
The Wesley Chapel Hotel was great. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and much welcomed after a long trip . The staff we spoke to were very friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay at a Best Western again.
Hotel rates are very reasonable. Very happy with the experience with TripAdvisor. I will use it again. I did reserve a car at a rate of 17.00 a day. I attempted to extend the car for 2 more days and the rate went up to $52.00 so I turned the vehicle in. I won't be using Alamo rental again.
Clean, bright, large rooms. Good breakfast. The bathroom amenities could be better quality and larger sizes. Wonderful staff, friendly, helpful, cheerful. Good location for restaurants and shopping. Friendliest staff! Great value for the price!
The room was great. The services was outstanding. The area is in very quiet neighborhood. The only problem was trying to found the motel due to the lack of signs . Management advised they were trying to correct this issue. The property is beautiful.
I have travelled extensively and have never felt it necessary to complain about a hotel stay until this one. We were woken around 4 am by a loud repetitive snapping noise which seemed to be coming from the A/C. I tried turning the A/C off but it made no difference. I was so exhausted I tried to go back to sleep with a pillow over my head. I fell back asleep from exhaustion briefly and was woken again by the same noise at approximately 5:15 am. I dragged myself out of bed to speak with the front desk. The clerk said that he could move me to another room. I explained I was to get up for a conference at 6:15 and the hassle was more than the reward and requested a refund for that night (we stayed 2 nights). He said he would have to have me talk to the manager who was out and gave me his business card. I went back to my room, emailed the manager, and tried to sleep again with pillows over my head. We rose, gathered our things, and went to check out. We spoke to another clerk who said the manager would not be in until the next week. He also told us that the loud snapping sound was probably condensation from the wall A/C unit above ours. We went to our conference followed that afternoon by a long car trip back (Tampa to Miami) home with extreme fatigue due to this incident. I tried calling the manager the next week and the number rang and rang and was never picked up by and answering machine. I also never heard a reply from the manager to my email. In the email I attached a clip of the loud snapping sound. No response yet. I am extremely dissatisfied with the management of the issue.
I needed to pick up my motor home that had been repaired at the local Chevy dealership. It was a quick trip, one day down & one day back home. The staff here was exceptional, especially Brandon, the night clerk. This is a clean hotel with a decent breakfast. The popcorn machine in the lobby is a plus!
Beautiful hotel Quiet Clean Helpful staff One of the best Best West Western Hotels I have experienced. I was pleasantly surprised as it is not a Best Western Plus which is what I prefer. I highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The beds were comfort and the location was convenient to shopping and eating facilities. There was a complimentary hot breakfast that was served in the lobby. The park and lot is a little small, so you may be faced with parking on the side of the building which does not allow key entry after hours.
I really cannot recommend this hotel and would not return. The shower trickles out and is really quite ridiculous for a newly renovated hotel and the bathtub does not even appear to be big enough for an adult. The bedding is an absolute embarrassment for what they are charging (thin and worn fleece blanket folded over with sheets to make it look like there is a down blanket inside). Upon late evening check in on 4/8/16, the young man at the counter informed me that he didn't bother to review my room request and that the room he selected for me on the 2nd floor would be appropriate and my top floor request for a quiet room was not necessary as you only needed to be away from the elevators for quiet. To the General Manager: Appropriate customer service training would be a good idea for this employee as guest requests should be considered and taken seriously as sleeping accommodations are the service provided by a hotel and light sleepers make special request so they can actually partake in the service offered.
My wife and I stayed for 28 nights. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Restaurants are abundant and there are numerous malls for shopping within a short distance. The breakfast at the hotel was great and the maid service was 10 out of a 10. I will be back next year.
Have been coming to this Hotel for years and have never been disappointed. Very convenient location right off of Rte. 75 in Wesley Chapel. Very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms with micro and fridge. Free hot and cold breakfasts are offered every morning with fresh cookies brownies put out throughout the day and free 24 hour coffee in the lobby. Hotel provides free wireless WIFI, outdoor pool, fitness center, business center with computers and fax and copy access. and free weekday papers. Staff are very pleasant, helpful and accommodating to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Skip this hotel. Noisy guests, paper thin walls, and never had the evening popcorn or cookies they promised at check in. The manager did nothing to resolve a problem with another guest's child that was screaming in the hallways. I travel very frequently, and this is one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in years.
Perfect stay. The whole experience was a positive one. Very comfortable, clean bed. Nicely decorated room. Very clean. Easy to locate with many dining options close to the hotel. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.
This hotel is a gem! We stayed for five nights, and we couldn't find a bad thing to say about it. Our room was very clean, modern, quiet, and very comfortable. The lobby has a few computers for your use and there was adequate wifi throughout the property. During our visit, there was fresh popcorn and warm cookies available in the afternoon as an added bonus. The breakfast each morning was above average - while it featured the usual items you would expect, we were pleasantly surprised that there was an attendant that continually stocked the serving areas and cleaned the tables - something that is often the downfall of so many hotels that provide a free morning breakfast. The breakfast room was a little small, but the owner indicated that they were soon going to be expanding it. This hotel is in an excellent location with numerous shopping and dining options nearby. While we didn't use the pool or the laundry, they looked modern and well maintained. After staying for five days, it became very evident that the difference between this hotel and so many others that don't live up to their potential was the owner and the staff. The owner was visible and engaged and the front desk person, Divine, was a superstar! Even the housekeeping staff seemed happy, and they went out of their way to be friendly to guests. This hotel is a gem - a great combination of excellent accommodations and wonderful people! If you are shopping around for a hotel in the Wesley Chapel area, stop shopping and make a reservation at this Best Western.
If you want a quiet motel, with no road noise...stay here! We stayed here for five nights in March 2016. This is an excellent motel. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. There were a couple of PCs for use near the lobby. Wifi signal was free and of a satisfactory speed. Breakfast included a buffet breakfast with pump coffee flasks, waffle maker, scrambled egg, sausage, muffins, toast, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The breakfast area was somewhat small, but the attendant said that they were going to knock out a wall and increase the size of the room. The breakfast attendant was the best...always greeting every single person and asking them how their night was. She was always present to fill the items. My only complaint was that the hot water in the shower did not get above luke-warm. It did not matter what time of the day you used the shower, it was always luke-warm. The bathroom sink, however, had all the hot water you desired. Not sure of the reason for this, but other than the temperature of the water in the shower, it was terrific!
Great hotel centrally located for many activities within an hours drive! Hotel was clean, staff friendly, breakfast was above average, and parking easy. Beds were comfortable and our room relatively quite. The location was perfect for our needs!
Needed a place to stay for just one night close to the Tampa airport. Used my rewards points for the stay. Was pleased to find the hotel was freshly remodeled and appeared new. Very quiet. Good location with lots of restaurants within 10 minutes or so. Real close to the airport, about 30 minutes travel time. Highly recommend this location if you want to be close to Tampa on the north side for a reasonable price.
We have stayed at this Best Western before, and keep coming back because the place was just renovated, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is very nice, and the staff are very attentive, and friendly.
The pillows are small square pillows that collapse under weight. There were only four pillows in the room so you could not prop yourself up to watch TV. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The bedding was insufficient to sleep in a cold room, and since the window doesn't open, we had to run the noisy under-window HVAC all night, and it ran intermitently.
We stayed as a family of 4 in late February 2016.The building has a small pool, gym and laundry facilities. It's quite easily found from the address and is just off the freeway. Car parking is free, but you need to register your number plate at reception, and spaces can be tight at busy periods. The building is bright, modern, and showed little sign of wear and tear. The staff were friendly and attentive, and handle all queries with professionalism. There was a nice touch in that there is a free coffee and snack area adjacent to reception, where the kids could even have free popcorn from a professional popcorn maker. There were a couple of PCs for free use too. Wifi signal was free and of an acceptable speed. Breakfast was included in our package which consisted of a buffet breakfast with pump coffee flasks, waffle maker, scrambled egg, sausage, muffins, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc. For such a small venue, the offerings were surprisingly large. A friendly waitress was always present to top up the supplies and overall was a nice friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was served up until 0930hrs. Although we only stayed for 2 nights, we would easily have stayed for more and used it as a base in our travels, as we were made to feel welcome throughout. Only minor comment would be the aircon could be a bit quieter, and noise insulation between rooms could be better, but hard to fault otherwise. Good value venue with no real issues.
I had considered booking a couple of hotels closer to Tampa, however they were all booked as I was planning a last minute business trip. I contacted my hotel group that I normally stay with and was on the phone for thirty minutes with them trying to find me a room... Only for them to tell me they were booked. I then contacted Best Western because of trip advisor reviews praying they had a room and spoke with Brandon. He was wonderful on the phone and helped me book a room for two nights in a matter of minutes. He checked me in quickly upon arrival, let me choose my room out of the few they had left, and wished me luck as he had inquired why I was in town (I felt this was a nice inquiry, most hotels do not care why you are in town). The room was clean and the hotel was quiet even though almost full. Breakfast had hot and cold items and the breakfast staff was extremely friendly and cheerful as well. Overall a nice surprise and a great stay. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in town and you should too!
Nancy & I meet there yearly. This year, Bryan, came to our aide numerous times with a smile on his face. He was always more than kind and helpful. We stayed there the 24th of February. Thanx again! And the room remodeling is beautiful. And the cookies were Devine! Nancy & Vickie
Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was sufficient although a little crowded. Pool was clean. Maid service was wonderful - cleaned our room each day and made the beds!
Book on-line in advance for a superior rate in a thoughtfully-run clean facility with a helpful staff in a safe area with the Best Western complimentary breakfast and nearby restaurants. For a long stay, it was worth the 25 minute drive to downtown Tampa to save $120/day with the full breakfast. I used the savings to happily buy great $400 dinners for colleagues at Eddie V's, Jackson's, Charley's Steakhouse, etc. I stay at Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk or Hilton Downtown Tampa for when I have to be downtown on those eves. I'd even use this as a base for a 1-day at Epcot.
Stayed here for a night with the family heading to Port Charlotte. It was more affordable that lesser hotels advertised in the area. Room was clean and bed comfortably. Front desk was polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
A must stay. We stay here for three days for my daughter's wedding. Everyone was helpful and made our stay an enjoyable one. You felt the environment to make your stay enjoyable with all the hotel employees. If we are in the area again I will stay here.
I was very pleased with this facility. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was VERY pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thanks for a great stay.
This was a nice hotel for the price. Nothing ridiculously fancy, but it was clean, was remodeled fairly recently and had nice modern decor. There was an extensive breakfast with a lot of hot and cold options. Overall very satisfied. Manager/owner was nice and worked very hard to maintain a good hotel.
I can not say enough about this wonderful hotel! They are simply the best! The service received was perfect and went above and beyond my expectations. They were so accomidating, friendly and caring I wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were clean and fresh! The breakfast area was inviting and always clean! We used their guest laundry which was great not packing dirty clothes! Location was perfect. Would stay here again without hesitation!
My first sty in this hotel was Nov. 2013 and it was OK, a 3 on a scale of 1-5. Then I began renting local homes because the hotel was having "issues". My first return back was Feb. 2016, after new ownership and a massive renovation. It's beautiful! Food is good (free breakfast), fitness center well rounded, pool clean, room brought into the 21st century. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and did I mention the staff? They all were most accommodating including the housekeeping women (i.e. extra coffee for my room!).
The staff was extremely helpful and we were able to check in a bit early. There had been a mess created by another guest on our floor, we had two rooms booked, but it was remedied. Great job. We requested and got, two rooms on the same floor with family that was traveling with us.
So what's the point of having house keeping if the front desk can't leave. Will not stay again. I can stay at a Hilton that is more accommodating than this place. I'm sure if it's house keeping there is more that is not right. It's cold in the rooms.
Most Professional Manager and staff. Excellent service and nicest hotel I've stayed in in awhile. Clean rooms quiet accommodating staff and very friendly. I build and remodel hotels and see a lot of hotels from the inside out. This one is a GEM.
This hotel was excellent. So clean and well maintained. Met the manager who gave us some info and it was at this time we told him how much we enjoyed our one night stay. We stayed the previous night on a best western in Titusville and it was not pleasant so this was dream. Stay here and be happy.
I was in Florida visiting t my aunts who were over 90 yrs old. I had one in Central Florida New port Richey and the other in Marco Island. I had intended to stay in different location for the southern city, but this place was excellent so I chose to stay and just drive to the southern location instead of chancing another hotel
I guess the hotel can't be totally responsible for the people that stay there....Noisy people on the 1st and 2nd floors. Breakfast wasn't as good as HIE but the staff was receptive and courteous. An average stay for an average price.
I highly recommend staying at this location. Extremely clean, comfortable and the staff is outstanding. They provide a great breakfast, popcorn and cookies within the lobby. Most of all, the staff will engage and truly care about your satisfaction while staying at the location.
Usually I stay at a lower cost hotel but that area of town not feeling safe...went online and booked a great rate here...staff very helpful....especially...Brandon at the front desk........great breakfast and good buttered popcorn in the lobby...great location...
Brandon and the rest of the staff always tried to make you feel like the one of the family. And the bed were really comfortable to. Many restaurants located in the area, and the hotel is located right off I-75.
I recently stayed here two nights in Jan 2016 on business trip and mu stay was very comfortalbe. I was greeted on the telephone and when I checked in by a person anmed Divine. She was very nice and pleasant. She acted like I was calling her house or visiting her own home. Very professional but not too "talkee". My room was away from the elecator and quiet and peaceful. Room was very clean and modern. Look like nrand new TV. The night guy was just as pleasant. Breakfast was full and ok. This place is a high value and I will be back!!!
A last minute emergency caused us to need this hotel for the night. We had nothing with us - not even a toothbrush, which we had to go to Walgreens to buy. Not much more than a bar of soap in the bathroom, but a hot shower was welcomed. Good beds, comfortable room & functioning WiFi made for a better ending to the night than it started out.
Traveled to Florida in January and stopped here for the night. The temperature was in the 40's and the heat did not work at all!! There was only a thin blanket on the bed. I know they pre-set the heating units....but really!! I had to sleep in a thick sweatshirt....and I still wasn't warm. Don't stop here.
Very Pleasant Business Stay .... Staff was exceptionally helpful ... I was compelled to stay longer due to the snow storm back East where I had planned to return on Friday ... Everyone was very accommodating of the changes that I needed ...
Newer facility, well maintained, friendly and efficient staff. Room was nicely furnished with excellent beds. WiFi and hot breakfast. We will be returning to this hotel on future visits to the north Tampa area.
We had ants in our room that covered the bedside table. I left a plate of food there but even after it was cleaned by us and by the cleaning staff, we came back to a room where the bedside able was completely covered in ants. When we told the employee at the front desk at check out, she never even looked up and instead played Texas Hold'em on her phone. At check in, however, the employee we had was awesome, he helped us get everything and gave us places to eat, extra towels and utensils even though he was the only one working.
This was my second time at the Best Western. My stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Check-in was easy and the rates were good for this type of hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful, I needed a late check out and they were able to accommodate my request. My son and his family live 10 minutes away so this location is ideal and I will be back in a few months.
We traveled through Florida staying at several hotels. This was the best night of our trip. The staff was very friendly. The beds were SO comfortable and the room was nicely decorated and very clean. Location was also a plus: close to restaurants, shopping and I-75 (very easy to find).
We had a king-sized room which was very comfortable. The furniture is outdated but in good condition and served the purpose. The pullout double sofa bed surprisingly comfortable. It's mattress looks new and is thick for a pull-out. The room has tons of outlets which are great for today's electronic world.
This hotel is very close to the Grove and lots of other things on the north end of Tampa. Its just off the freeway and might be a little hard to find until you get on the side street that goes up to shopping. Nice Property, great location and well kept. I had no problems for a 5 night stay. Reasonable rates and good staff.
We stayed at this hotel and were very impressed. The paint, carpets, bathroom, and bed all felt new, updated and clean. It was near I-75. The desk clerk was a very nice young man who was helpful and the breakfast was very good. The pride in this motel was apparent. We plan on staying here again in the future.
Only breakfast brings it down. Sorry about this because otherwise this is an excellent place to stay and I will stay here the next time in the area. Also walking distance to food , gas, entertainment and other things one might need.
This hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the towels were fluffy, breakfast was very good. They had coffee/cookies/popcorn in the lobby. the coffee was fresh.the young man at check in was friendly and helpful.
Excellent Staff especially the front Desk Attendant Brandon who was very accommodating. He took the time to listen to my requests while assist me with my questions and provided accurate descriptions and mileage to other places of interest. Newly renovated and offers excellent amenities and a friendly, caring atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Quiet and clean rooms. I stayed previously with a co-worker and I have already made reservations today for next week's trip.
We ended up having a medical emergency during our stay and the staff were fantastic in their response. While we were far from home we felt we had family taking care of us. The hotel is well maintained and rooms are very clean. We have already booked our next stay at this hotel as we frequently come to the area now.
I had stayed at this Best Western before and they have renovated nicely. The lobby has more amenities, seating, a popcorn cart (I enjoyed taking some back to my room for a snack). The hotel was clean and quiet. I enjoyed having a fridge in my room to store leftovers. I especially appreciated that when I forgot my coat when I checked out the staff called my cell. I fortunately was still in town and could stop by later to pick it up on my way to the airport.
The hotel was updated and the room was larger and clean. The area around the hotel was nice and seemed to be safe. People staying there were quiet and friendly. They had coffee and tea in the lobby. Check in easy and the staff was friendly.
We stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised at the renovations done since we stayed last year. The room and bath were nice sized and very clean. The bed was very comfortable The staff at the front desk made sure we had the accommodations we needed. Would highly recommend this motel.
we needed one night near Land O'Lakes, Fl and we found this Best Western for us to stay at. We had a nice room, nice snacks in the lobby and it was clean and neat. Breakfast was included which was nice bonus. Food selection was good.
Hotel employees were extremely helpful during our visit. The hospitality was great during our brief stay. Rooms were very clean and bed so comfortable, I nearly missed breakfast. Will definitely stay again whenever I am in the area. Great value for the money!!
The hotel was very clean, as were the rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool cold but the temp dropped so couldn't be helped and we swam anyway. We don't like the mostly carb breakfast but it was okay for the kids. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Blood stains on carpet, unfriendly staff during check-in, Room smelled moldy, Lots of moisture in the air making everything damp feeling, and left over food/drinks in the refrigerator that wasn't cleaned out.
We stayed in this hotel several times because my husband is working nearby. We stayed in the third floor in a non smoking room and inmediatelly I sense the cigars smell . I went to the reception and ask for a different room in the same floor and the smell was the same. Finally we moved to the second floor and we felt the smell of old carpert, but no cigars smell. I wet down and asked the mmanger that how come in a non smoking hotel there are smoking rooms and he explained to me that they have a form that the guest need to sign that if the person smoke in the room the hotel will charge $250 to the guest credit card. But when the guest pay cash is not a way to prevent this and people smoke in the third floor because is far from the lobby. It doesn't make sense. The rooms are average there is an small refrigerator beside the bathroom and a coffe maker. The hotel has free hot breakfast , average, small swiming pool and a small work out facility. The reception area is small too and there is not a good place where you can sit and work in your computer Computers are on the reception area where is a pop corn machine, a table with coffe, hot tea, and cookies. There is a big table with high chair behind the coffe table. There is one sofa where is more quieter . The staff in the hotel are nice and friendly.
For the money you cannot beat this hotel, clean, fresh and friendly staff really gives this gem two thumbs up, hotel is set away from the highway and a bit secluded with a Cracker Barrel that you can see from the hotel.
EXCELLENT SERVICE! Staff was extremely friendly. I got there really early and they worked on getting a room cleaned for us so that we didn't have to wait hours until the check in time. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
First off want to say the Staff was great ! They are very helpful and very friendly. Great place to stay, bed was very comfortable, room clean, breakfast was good, hot waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, cereal, and more.
Not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but definitely outstanding for the value. Bed was super comfy!! Walls are very thin--had trouble falling asleep on the 2nd night of my stay due to a conversation in the next room, almost called front desk but was able to drown out the noise with the AC. Location was excellent, right off I-75. Would stay again.
Excellent service from pleasant and professional staff. Good value for the cost, a positive alternative to higher priced accommodation in the Tampa area. A little hard to find, as entry of Oakley for street in the GPS takes you to a competitor motel. BW is slightly behind and across the street. Omlet in the morning breakfast lacked any cheese, but otherwise the meal was fine. Better than most big name hotels for cleanliness.
We stayed here for one night before we were scheduled to switch to another hotel but we enjoyed it so much we stayed for a total of 4 nights! Tyler & Devine were very friendly and responsive to our requests. They are very concerned about customer service and helped us with many questions and billing situations. We had a great rate thru Hotels.com. The breakfast was adequate with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffle maker, yogurt, some pastries and bagels. Bananas or apples were also supplied. At night, it was fun to arrive back to popcorn awaiting and cookies! Thanks to the management and a special thank you to Devine (a lovely lady) and Tyler as well!
Due to original issues with another hotel in the Tampa area, I was able to get a room at Wesley Chapel without any problems, thanks to Tyler at the front desk! It was a little trek to Tampa, but not too bad.
Price was good, hotel recently updated. Free breakfast and wifi always a plus. Room was clean. Walls are a little thin. Only problem with our stay was a domestic disturbance in the room next door. I had to call the front desk at 2 am about it, but they were polite when I called.
We asked for a "quiet room"----got one across from the ice machine/vending machine and next to the stairwell! Then, upon getting ready to take a shower, found that the previous guest's soap was still on the soap rest! I removed it and it had hair on it! We wondered whether the shower had even been cleaned! Very disgusting! Upon checking out, told the person at the desk and her reply was, "okay I'll tell the manager". That was it! The breakfast was gross. The eggs didn't taste like real eggs, the milk tasted spoiled, etc, etc. Didn't see a breakfast host around at all. We often stay at Best Westerns, but this place is not at all like them!
Clean, comfortably, close to the many Outlets, it is also very close to many nation's brand restaurants and just off I75. The room that I stayed was very comfortable and spacious, good lighting and the furniture was very good
Hotel was difficult to find because there are no signs off the interstate directing me to the hotel. Had to circle around a couple of times until I finally found it. The room was nice. Bed very comfortable. Pillows excellent. Bath Tub Slippery; that needs to be corrected. Finally placed a towel in the tub prior to my shower Otherwise, hotel was good for the money spent.
Very nice hotel, but the best part was the excellent service from Brandon. He checked is in and was very helpful with our questions. We would return here again. They was hot coffee, tea, cookies and popcorn for us to enjoy and a nice clean and comfortable room.
We had a slight problem with our reservation which was corrected immediately by Brandon. He was quick, efficient, and extremely courteous. His efforts really made our stay memorable. We hope Best Western management appreciates who they have working for them. In addition, he made sure we received the approiate room discounts we originally paid for through another hotel service. The popcorn and cookies offered in the lobby were also a plus!
I work over the road, I live out of hotels. this hotel was nice, clean but odd it its parking lot layout and the road its on. front desk person was very friendly. I did not have the breakfast. Clean bathroom, gotta love that! :-)
This is not a 5 star hotel but it was a 5 start stay. Clean, well kept and no issues. Great breakfast and service. Highly recommend Close to high end shopping and restaurants. Right off of interstate and easy access. Good value
We arrived after midnight (as we told them we would be very late after driving 8 hrs) and were assigned a room that had not been cleaned after an "extended stay" guest had left. The sheets were piled atop the beds, there was litter scattered on the floor and the room stunk (smelled very bad). We got many "sorries" from the desk attendant and he assigned us a different room. We still had to go back to the desk to get a plastic bag for the ice bucket. I can no loger see what I'm writing as the photo icon by Trip Advisor obscures all my writing. The second room was pretty good so the overall is average, at best.
Stayed 7 nights Sept 16th – 22nd 2015. Reviewed by a mid-late 50's couple against expectations of a 3* rated hotel. We booked this hotel as it was well reviewed and situated close to our friends in Seven Oaks, who we planned to surprise with a short visit to the area. We were already familiar with the region. The hotel was easy to find and has a good sized (free), well-lit car park. It is well placed for local restaurants, shopping and access to main roads. On arrival, check in was simple and clerk was very welcoming. All staff met during our stay were courteous and helpful, answering questions. Room was a good size, clean, huge double bed. View out the back wasn't great, but I was not expecting a herd of wildebeest and open plains in Florida (except at Busch gardens!). The room safe didn't work despite my best efforts: seemed that the buttons were sticking. However, we reported the fault before we left for a trip out, and it was fixed on our return. Nice to have refreshments available in the room and at reception. We slept well, but I did find the air conditioner to be on the noisy side, and there was a steady hum from the system generally. Condensation constantly dripped from rooms above onto the window ledge which was an annoying design fault. Room cleaning was excellent daily. Wifi good in room and included. Breakfast was adequate and simple, with a choice of scrambled egg, toast, 3 cereals, cakes, yoghurts, fruit etc. All self-service and plastic or paper plates. Basic gym and small pool, which was clean and well placed to catch a few rays. All in all, the hotel met our expectations and suited our needs very well as a local base, and was good value for money. Will be happy to stay there again on a future visit to see friends.
We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way down south to drop off our car to have some work done in the Bradenton area. We were pulling a 26 foot car hauler behind our truck, and this can often cause problems when looking for a hotel in regards to parking, however, after calling ahead, I found that this hotel had a large parking lot, and welcomed large vehicles. The rate was very reasonable, the front desk clerk was super friendly, and when I asked for a quiet room, he found one far away from the elevators, highway and on the top floor. He did good....we didn't hear a peep! The room was super quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. The breakfast was a hot breakfast, and was well stocked and yummy. Overall, a very good stay!
Noisy air conditioner, switched rooms and wasn't much better. I was surprised because surly TWO rooms couldn't have the same problem. granted, the second room wasn't as bad, but for a $100 a night room, I expected much better. biscuits for breakfast stale as if two days old. very little water pressure. Smallest rooms I've ever had to stay in in a hotel. I mean really? I've had closets that were bigger than this. I know it's just a hotel, but I expected more the price I was paying.
Very courteous staff, clean rooms and well-maintained facilities (in and out). Excellent breakfast bar! There was plenty of parking space and the parking lot was well lighted. Made the reservation over the phone and the attendant was very friendly and helpful. Very close to the main highway which makes it very convenient. Several restaurants in the area make it a convenient location to stay at.
Stayed in the only suite in the hotel, was very roomy and up to date, very clean. More suites needs to be added because my family memembers wanted to change rooms. The night clerk was very helpful did not get his name but he has 40 yrs of experience.
