SenS Hotel & Spa + Conference Ubud Town Centre

Small and smart facility within easy access to prime attractions in Ubud town like the Palace, Saraswati temple and Art market. The ladies at the reception were very efficient during the check-in process and the entire service team in the restaurant and others were always very helpful and courteous. The room offered was at the ground floor and they could not offer me a upper level room even after request. Not a major issue as the room offered was very nice and attractive and of a good size for two persons and the toiletries and towels provided were quite satisfying. Enjoyed the Rosella drink and the local snack as a part of the welcome package. The complimentary breakfast had a good spread with a varied choice and even had special arrangements to cater to veterinarian requirements by the poolside. I specially enjoyed the provision of choosing and preparing my own morning juice. In addition to the food spread, I very much enjoyed the local fruits at offer. I definitely recommend this place at Ubud if you are looking for a centrally located comfortable hotel.

Impressive! The team at this hotel are obviously very well trained and supported. Logistics are spot on - it is great to observe teams working in such well co-ordinated ways. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Gym is small but serviceable. I loved the well set up workstation in my room plus access to power-points in the cafe when I wanted to work there. The internet service is 100% reliable and genuinely high speed. It is by far the best hotel internet service I have found in Ubud and this makes SenS a great choice for business travellers and digital nomads. If you have mobility concerns be aware that premium rooms with baths are not a safe option. The bath is very high and the shower is over the bath. This makes climbing in and out to shower potentially a fall hazard. But not all rooms have baths, so just choose one with shower only. Special mention is deserved by the F&B team and the spa staff. Spot on service every time. They are really professional and a joy to watch in action.

Well located hotel in Ubud. Hotel is well maintained. Rooms are clean well equipped. City centre is at walkable distance. Lot many shops and marts to shop for. Authorised money changers are nerby. Indian restaurants are at walkable distance. Quality of food is nice. Front office staff are well mannered and helpful. Restaurant staff are courteous and very cooperative. Options for vegetarian food are limited but one can manage with bread, fruits, juices,cerals, and beverages. They arrange parathas on special request. Swimming pool is well maintained. All the staff have smiling faces all the time. Strongly recommend this hotel for stay.

Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel is good with a lot of services. Close to city center but not so noisy. Food of the restaurant is good. Most important thing to me is the staff: professional but at the same time very kind and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

This was a wonderful find in central Ubud. I moved to this hotel after a bad experience at another last minute and the staff were so lovely and accomodating. The are all so friendly and inviting with true Balinese style. The rooms were well appointed and of good size, clean and well equipped with robes, slippers etc. The bed was super comfortable and I had great sleep here. I will definitely return to this lovely gem of a hotel.

We stayed in 3 locations in Bali and the hospitality experience at SenS wins hands down. A big thanks to the reservation team (Agung Eka, Irma, Ms. Misi and several others) for this big support and guidance prior to the travel! When we arrived at SenS Ubud, the hospitality of the staff continued with the same pleasantness and patience through all the 3 days of stay. Special thanks to Ms. Asthiti and team for taking care of the vegetarian needs during our breakfast time. Ms. Misi at the reception was so helpful in guiding us with local sightseeing options. Overall, all staff seem very well trained and courteous. Thanks to the SenS team for all the warmth and hospitality!! About the hotel: Rooms were quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very tasty, especially the noodles, omelettes and waffles. Though compact, the pool looked clean all the time. The location of the hotel is a big plus. It's at walking distance from the Palace, restaurants and shopping areas of Ubud. So we could really unwind and experience the culture in Ubud without a time check. We really had a heavy heart to check out of such a wonderful hotel. Will definitely recommend SenS to anyone looking for an Ubud stay.

The hotel was great. Centrally located, but also out of the extreme husstle and bustle. Close to shops,markets and restuarants. A great plus was the water refill station which really helped us as we drink litres of water a day, this becomes costly after a few days in Bali. Friendly and helpfull staff and a good breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and aircon working perfectly. The hotel does however need a few upgrades such as towels and pillows. Although this is small things and did not affect our overall stay and opinion of the hotel. Our neighbours was noisy and once i told reception they wanted to immediately move us and assist with making our stay more comfortable. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location- down the street from the palace, the art museum, and a great shadow puppet theater. Nice international restaurants and warungs located all around. The Spa in the hotel is terrific and they have BBQ nights twice a week and a nice breakfast buffet. The people at this hotel are sweet and caring. We throughly enjoyed our two week stay at SenS hotel.

Continue to come back as the staff are so attentive and it's so beautiful and peaceful in the heart of Ubud with an easy walk to everything.Breakfast is terrific and the rooms are so well appointed. The pool is never crowded and bar staff couldn't do enough for you. I love this place

Location 10/10 Staff 10/10 Comfort 10/10 Will definitely choose again! Location was right next to ubud street. Great eateries around. Ubud art market and palace were walkable around 800 Meters. Staff was sweet and considerate. There's a deprecate vegetarian counter for breakfast in the mornings!

I liked this hotel so much until today. Last night came a big group and they were super noisy and loud évem at 2pm… staff just silent. I eas complained at 2am because of the noise, this morning I had to leave the Restaurant because These guest were so much rude and loud I could eat, I told 2 x the staff to control them but nothing has happenned it so much weird, also complained at reception No action….. it was the 3rd but last time there.

SenS Hotel was a chance find for us but what a find! Location- Brilliant location! It is located in Ubud city centre close to Ubud Palace. The place is surrounded by shopping options, eat-out places, authorized money changers, grocery marts, launderettes. Whatever you might need is available almost outside the hotel. Room- Room was not very spacious but very thoughtfully set up. It is big enough for 2 people but might be small for a family. We loved the small details which were taken care of in terms of amenities provided in the room. It was clean and tidy. We had a small plumbing concern which was attended to promptly with a completely new fixture. Room service was prompt! Food- Breakfast buffet service was great with food being customized for me on the day when I observe vegetarianism. They asked about my preferences, food allergies before serving food. We also had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed it a lot! Service- A great stay can never be great without great service and SenS hotel did not fail us in service even a tiny bit. Big thanks to Putu, Avu, Astiti for taking care of us and to the entire team of SenS for helping us with suggestions, tips n tricks to ensure our 3 night stay was most pleasant and memorable. We enjoyed our daily conversations with the team each time we met them.

From food to room, laundry, overall service was excellent. Rianto from the restaurant always make sure we are taken care of. He is a must keep employee. We have some few requests/changes that are not in the menu and they are very prompt providing exceptional service

We had a great experience staying in the Sens Hotel & Spa. The hotel is super clean and the hospitality provided by every staff member is second-to-non. The Sens Hotel has created a resort feel like culture that really made our 7 day stay so memorable. Please stop by the restaurant to visit Pasek. This young man is remarkably kind and personable with a splash of excellence. Ubud, Bali is the area to visit for a more traditional Bali.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a delicious welcome drink and cake. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was amazing and friendly. Pasek was great at making us feel welcome and great at giving us recommendations during our stay. We dined many days at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the drinks made by Pasek were SO YUMMY. The hotel is in a great location. I totally would stay here again. Having meet Pasek was one of the highlights of our trip.

I regret that I chose to come back to this hotel to give it a second chance I came to ubud every two months and always like to try hotels. In march there were loud noises or music and ceremony from across the road until 2am because they preparing for “nyepi” day . That was without warning to guests. Now I am here again in September and I specifically told them I want quiet room that I was traumatised but wanted to give this hotel a second chance ( i did not leave review on my first) This time they put me on 5th floor, first some machine or generator noise that I could cope Then this morning at around 5am there was ongoing machine noise and by 5.30 it was like you are sleeping inside a very loud non stop washing machine. I finally called the front desk at 7 and someone showed up in my room. His response was oh that's just the sound of AC machine upstairs. So do you want to move room?? This hotel has disturbed my sleep, ignored my requests and as I am writing this I still feel like I am sitting inside a very loud washing machine or under non stop aeroplane noise and already given me headaches and made me nauseous. I now will have to find different hotel, but I rather lose my money than my sanity. As much as the staff at front reception were nice. This is so not worth to risk staying here again. Ruining my break, my day , waste my sleep and waste my time and causing me so much issue. Never again. If you can't cater rooms without massive amount of noise then you should say so. Street noise it acceptable. But loud machine noise is not. I travel all the time , this would be the time where I have to leave review because I really don't want any other traveller experience this. And now almost 8am, wide awake with a headache and very stress because now I have to move and find another hotel to stay Thanks SenS

After travelling around bali on holiday I can't stress enough how amazing this hotel is. Room and common areas very clean and well kept. Location is great shop, cafes, restaurants, markets etc all on the door step. Some of the best restaurants in ubud are close by and rest only a 20 min walk / couple of minute taxi away. Hotel staff were brilliant too. Arranged hiking mount batur through them which was so easy. The security guard also gave us a taxi lift one day after struggling to wave down any taxis! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone if you are looking for a all round great hotel.

This centrally located hotel is very comfortable and affords easy access to the main part of Ubud. It's easy to walk down the road for restaurants and easy to walk up the street to the middle of this bustling town. The rooms are really comfortable and clean. We loved our outlook and on a clear day saw the ocean! The staff are just wonderful. Agung Eka looked after us and all the staff were friendly and welcoming whenever we passed by reception or used the restaurant. Breakfast was curious. It really leans toward Asian food tastes, though we were told we could order basic bacon, eggs or sausages etc. it was a big buffet which got pretty chaotic when the hotel became full of guests. The restaurant food was very tasty with some curious combinations Beef rendeng and spaghetti for one! Can highly recommend this very comfortable, central hotel.

Spent 4 nights in Ubud, with my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 14. Property is within walking distance of the main street in Ubud and to the monkey sanctuary also. Property is very clean and did the job for what we needed. Tasty breakfast in the morning also! Didn't use the pool or spa facility as we were out everyday. Would definitely recommend!

I wanted to express my gratitude to the Sens Ubud Hotel in Bali for a 4-night stay. I was delighted by the experience I had in this establishment. The warm and professional welcome from the staff immediately put me at ease. Their kindness and availability helped to make my stay even more pleasant.

This might be the best massage I ever had. Tini, the massage therapist was highly skilled, professional and used deep pressure as I requested. I was unable to do neck rolls before the massage due to extreme tension in shoulders and neck. The relief I felt was dramatic and I was able to do neck rolls almost without pain. There was severe pain in my right hip flexor and through deep pressure and manipulating the leg, the pain was completely gone at the end. I felt very calm and relaxed too. The fatigue from jet lag disappeared also. I highly recommend Tini for a wonderful healing massage.

This is very well run well located hotel and good value ! We loved our stay and interacting with the staff who are well trained in tourism . The hotel assisted us with a visit to a nearby orphanage to meet the children and contribute some gifts and support . It was a great part of our holiday in Ubud . The children are very cared for and have dance and music skills . The hotel should have a dance for guests matched with dinner . A stay at SenS will not dissapoint

A total of 5 days I stayed in Sense it just like the name of the hotel it make sense everything the bed big and comfortable clean I slept each day a good sleep even so I just next to teh swimming pool to be honest there nothing wake me up late night the shower had enough water pressure hot or cold room clean everyday the you get all amenities toothbrush and toothpaste shower-cup, etc coffee and coffee maker I had a lunch a dinner the food so good I didn't book including breakfast thing I didn't know what it like the most important this hotel it ideal location I walk the Monkey forest Milk and Madu and other location I used taxi very cheap prices all they had a lot of promotions they can give you when you arrived and the a welcome drink a tasty cake one my favourite on the room is the light on ground if you want wake in the middle of the night there a light on the ground all the way the bathroom you can't be distracted by a bright light excellent idea definitely you love this hotel if you stayed exploring Ubud definitely will be next time.

Was so delighted to find this place as I was walking along the street. My therapist, Mia, was amazing, she checked if I was happy with the room temperature and if the massage pressure was satisfactory. The treatment room was so relaxing, the massage table was like a fluffy cloud, I felt like I could melt into it. The facilities overall were luxurious and inviting. Highly recommend.

The room was great, cleanliness, facilities, tidiness were great. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. In fact they are one of the best staff I have ever seen in the hospitality industry. The pool is nice and clean. Food was good. Gym facilities were adequate

The staff is what earned a 5 star review for this hotel. They were so friendly, every single person! Special thanks to Putu and Qata (hope I spelled those correctly), as they were so helpful with my gluten allergy. Putu even knew when I was checking out and made sure to say goodbye to me the day before, as that was her day off. Please note that the walls are very thin, so if you are a light sleeper it may be an issue, especially if you have noisy neighbors. I did have a hard time sleeping many nights, due to that.

Have tried many spa places and this one in the best in town. You have to walk down a long driveway to start with which means that it was so nice and very quiet. The staff were very welcoming. Shame I found it on the last night.

Our family stayed in two Inter-leading superior rooms on the ground floor. These are luxurious and spacious rooms with all the amenities. The hotel is well located at walking distance from the main road and local market. On arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing cold drink and a lovely slice of cake. My husband misplaced a valuable item and we only noticed it a day later after leaving Ubud. Within seconds of contacting the hotel, the item was located thanks to Ariana's assistance; this was undoubtedly service excellence at it best, much appreciated. If ever we are to visit Ubud again, this would be our place to stay.

Ubud is small town as location of hotel easily to walk to Ubud Palace and Ubud Market. As tourist town, you can find many convenience stores, variety of restaurant, coffee ship, etc. You can enjoy swimming pool in the centre of the hotel, Room is super clean, big enough for 2 persons, …bed is not king size but over-kinged size There are fridge, TV with international channels (but no CNN?) I got very good price in popular hotel booking website. Highly recommend.

Pleasant stay at an excellent price. Location is pretty good for shopping at the local stalls, just a short walk away. Rooms are clean and comfortable, it is not resort style, more a conference type of venue, no outdoor garden area, the pool is in a central courtyard. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast buffet wasn't to my taste, not really tempted by curries and soups and I don't eat eggs, so toast and jam was my best option. However I'm sure most travellers would find it okay. Getting a late checkout due to 10 pm flight was easily arranged which was great. Enjoyable stay.

The hotel is a little more run down than in the pictures. Rooms were decent and comfy still. But the staff were amazing and so helpful. Buffet breakfast had a good variety. The chefs made things fresh for us if it ran out in the buffet. Had a really good stay overall

Everything about this stay was wonderful. Rooms clean and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant 3 times during our stay and were 10/10 every time. Breakfast is also very good although we did feel some of the food and the coffee (cappuccino) were too cold. Improved by adding hot water.

Fortunate to visit dozens of countries and countless hotels, we've stayed at every level of accommodation and Sens gets everything right. * Everyone (and I mean everyone) greets you w a title and your name, and remembers what you tell them, "good morning Mr. Joe, how was the volcano?" * The room is very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed * They opened the gym and made breakfast early just for us on requested days * Massage service is excellent (in room or in spa) * TAKE THE COOKING CLASS. If you like to cook or the food in Bali, you'll love this. It's on-site and mine was solo so I had two chefs w 40yrs of combined experience teaching just me. At the end my wife joined me to eat the meal. That meal would've cost more at a restaurant than the price of the class and they give you the full recipes to take as well. Thank you Chef Permana! * Concierge gave us an incredible driver that allowed us to see everything and was a fun, great guy * Breakfast was included and very good, with a wide variety and eggs/specialty coffees included and made to order. Don't miss it * You're in the center of town yet somehow on a quiet street. Pro Tip-walk the opposite direction of the main street for some of the most affordable yet best experiences in Ubud (Ray Spa, WW Pizza, White/Yellow Cafe) * One manager named Yoga was truly outstanding. He made every part of the stay better. So much more to say also. Hope you have a wonderful trip to Bali and if you can stay here, do it. You'll be glad you did.

I have been to Bali before and wasn't planning to stay in Ubud this time. At the last minute, I decided to and booked this. As a solo female traveller I needed something very central so I could go out easily, clean and somewhere with good service. This ticked all the boxes. I couldn't fault it. Rooms were big and spacious. Very clean. This includes the lobby and halls. My room was cleaned well each morning. I had a good sleep each night ready for another active day! Hot water, safe, iron, complimentary tea and coffee as well as two bottles of water everyday, air conditioning, television plus free wifi. Wifi and I won't mark them down for it was slow and not good. You can just about browse. This appears to be a common issue in Bali. Just go to a coffee shop or a 5 star hotel and use their wifi! I didn't include breakfast. Loads of places nearby. From what I could see breakfast looked nice and had the standard items such as cereal, breads and eggs. Staff were super nice, helpful and friendly. Every single staff member would always greet me. They took pride in looking after guests and keeping the hotel clean. There is a spa and swimming pool on the premises but I didn't use it. Very close to the main road in Ubud. There are coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores on your doorstep. Ubud Palace is less than ten minutes on foot. If you need a taxi, get one from outside. Hotels always charge more. I arrived early and my room was not ready which was fine as it was early morning but the hotel were happy to keep my bag whilst I went out. The checking in and out were super quick. They provide a welcome drink upon arrival. A few small negatives. The hotel is secure and you need to use your key card in the lifts in order to access your room floor. However, you need to press the button of your floor hard. I was often standing in the lift on the same floor despite pressing 2 for second floor, but the lift had not moved! Push hard. Same applies to the toilet. Flush hard as the flush was very strange and slow. Don't flush multiple times together or it will get stuck. When you open the tap for the sink, gently does it or the water splats. They provide complimentary toiletries too. Would stay here again and would recommend.

This was our second time staying at sens hotel and it was just as amazing as the first time. It's a very relaxing hotel with very friendly staff. The spa was very relaxing. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Ubud. I'm sure we will be back again soon

The hotel is nice, location is great, cleanliness is good. The issue was with the lobby staff upon check in that gave one of our party a wrong room despite our request. Also the 1st day breakfast was so so but it was better on day 2 forward.

Such a nice hotel. We got the premium room with balcony and we're very happy with us. It's all very clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast was nice and you can get fresh eggs cooked as well as coffees made. The service has also been excellent.

Excellent service. Definitely arrive as guests and leave as friends . Yoga and all the dining staff were attentive and friendly and contributed to our very positive stay. They made our anniversary very special with a beautifully presented meal and decoration. The room was light and airy, clean and comfortable. Great location.

SenS hotel and spa, located at center of Ubud, Bali This is a 4 star hotel, outlook of the hotel is common old hotel designed, when entering the room, absolutely surprisingly, modern, luxury, neat and tidy, very clean, sanitary, clean sheet (bed, pillows, quilt ...), nice comfort towel, full of room facilities ... Nice small swimming pool, nice friendly staffs ...

I have not given this hotel excellent for its grandness, this is a hotel that offers that special touch to travellers at a price that people can afford. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and in no time they recognise you and now your name, which adds to making you feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable with extremely efficient air conditioning which is very welcome. The restaurant is clean, welcoming with an affordably priced wide menu. Finally, the hotel is positioned within walking distance of the town but far enough away to offer seclusion. We had hired a driver so we were able to see lots of local areas and sites each day (loads to see close by).

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and this hotel is in a good location, great staff, and comfortable rooms with the best air conditioning! We truly felt so welcome each time we were greeted by any staff and it was the little extras that they did that made our stay so enjoyable.

Hotel has nice room, lot of variety for breakfast, hotel staff is very welcoming and humble. pool, dining area and rooms are pretty clean. Would definitely recommend to stay here if in bali. Food court and different restaurants are also nearby.

While the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the market and surrounding shops and restaurants, it is well worth it! The room was immaculate, the breakfast delicious and the staff could not possibly have been more helpful. Truly a wonderful stay...we wish we had come sooner.
