Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud

Everything about the breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of food choices. The room is perfect and well-suited for families or staying with friends. The cozy atmosphere of Ubud adds to the charm, making this hotel an ideal spot for relaxation.

I first stayed at Best Western Premier Agung, Ubud, back in 2017 and I have returned several times since. The beautiful peaceful location with amazing staff that go above and beyond expectations, are what draws me back! From reception to dining and room attendants, the friendly professional service is to be applauded. On my most recent visit, I was delighted to be welcomed back with a floral arrangement on my bed. It's these touches that make ones stay memorable. Sulastri, for his pre visit communication, Mia, on reception, and Andi attending my room, are to be commended, as are all the many other wonderful staff members of the Best Western Premier Agung hotel, Ubud.

The atmosphere & tranquillity was excellent. The be & the pillows was so comfortable. The staff were amazing, we were given a first class service especially Andy went beyond our expectations. He made sure our glass were to the brim by the pool. We didn't go to the bar but he kept coming to see that we had everything we wanted from food to drinks.

We booked this hotel after we had a terrible experience from a previous hotel. Soon as we arrived at Best Western the reception staff were welcoming and not to forget all the staff overall. Our room was absolutely breathtaking. We arrived at night so we didn't see much of the view. When we woke up we fell even more in love with our room and hotel. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've had in Asia. I can't fault anything.

The hotel is located about 20min from the city centre; while the distance isn't much, entering/exiting the main Ubud city centre can take a long time. The hotel has one restaurant; the breakfast spread is quite elaborate, and includes local and international fare, and the food is quite well prepared. The rooms are well appointed and are quite spacious. The property is clean and quiet.

Everything is just perfect.Even their restaurant have many vegeterian options so no issues.Also the atmosphere around is so calm and peaceful.just a beautiful resort in serene natural fields..swimming pools are also very beautiful facing fields.Marlo and Arya,both are really helpful in restaurants

This place is amazing and perfect for friends and family vacation. The swimming pool is very clean and nice. The room are neat and the housekeeping is very sweet. Marlo is a very sweet and patient staff. The breakfast is very delicious, there are many options to choose from and very healthy dishes to eat.

Just been staying at the hotel for our first time in Ubud. Chosen from the many on offer from website reviews and personal connection with something in my partner. Not the highest rated, but I have no idea why this is. The hotel is superb, the staff cannot do enough for you, and always do so with a smile, Ika and Opang exemplifying this tonight at dinner, the smiles endless and the service superb. The rooms are large, very clean and well presented the grounds immaculately kept and the location,just far enough out of town to be away from too much mayhem. Highly recommend making this your stop for your time in Ubud.

Many thanks to the staff, especially Ary who took care of our room during our stay. The staff is always kind and smiley, caring about our experience about the hotel and activities. We also enjoyed the balinese dance night with the dinner, if you want to see traditional dance, you can enjoy it in this hotel.

Beautiful, modern and clean hotel. Rooms are up to date, pool is awesome and location is a little away from Ubud centre. Really amazing and friendly staff. We were accompanied by Ika on the first day / dinner - delicious food and nice Bali dance performance. Like it!

The location is absolutely to recommend. The service (Ika) was always attentive and nice. The food was also very tasty. Our room ist also large and lovely. The view from the infinity pool is stunning. There is also nice entertainment in the evening.

Very enjoyable time in the hotel. It is located just 15min walk from the.hustle and bustle of Ubud and so is peaceful and quiet. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent with many healthy items in the buffet. The staff are very friendly and polite. Recommended for couples

The hotel was outstanding. Even in our room there is some problem with the AC but the staff immediately to fix it. The service was excellent thank you Beni f.o, Dea f.o and Krisna from restaurants. Great spot for getting around the area, monkey forest and rice fields are close by. Room is spacious and the hotel staff are amazing The on site restaurant has great food and we were hosted by Ika who is very knowledgeable and friendly. Great place , great service and would recommend

Nice location away from the downtown hustle and noise, but not too far away to get there if you want. Easy to get Grab transportation. 24 hour convenience store across the street. A few restaurants nearby convenient and very good. Great staff and quiet from the road. I'd stay here again. Amazing variety of buffet breakfast and very good quality.

Staying at the Best Western in Ubud has got to be one of highlights of my first ever trip to Bali. The hotel is very nice and spacious! The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. I felt super comfortable staying here. The location is great! They offer a shuttle service to Ubud center. Or you can just take a 20 minute walk to Ubud center and take in all the beauty that Ubud has to offer. Also pretty close to the Sacred Monkey Forest. I definitely would book this place if I ever come back to visit again.

The staff is very cordial - the ambience is very good - the best part is they have free pick up and drop to un missable ubud art mkt- just relax by the pool , close your eyes experience the sound of water splashes- greenery around - away from crowd but near to mkt

It was okay, the road wasn't safe to walk down to the central especially night time. Shuttle bus was good but unfortunately only limited time from 9.00 - 5.00 pm not flexibly. It's a nice hotel & friendly staff. I preferred to eat elsewhere. The pools were great. They need more umbrellas for protection from the sun.

Nice resort love to stay here..A scent of nature is present all around the resort good for couples,family,freinds & any other group stay. Staffs are also nice,they have shuttle service to the market area. Pool area is also lovely They have cycles too

Best Western Premier Agung was an amazing first hotel on our epic holiday to Bali. It was clean, spacious rooms and well placed, tucked slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Ubud yet easy distance from all that Ubud has to offer. We got a free upgrade to the executive rooms and liked the added touches like serving yakult in the mornings (for good gut health!) The swimming pool was perfect, and the spa was relaxing, with an amazing jungle view. The spa staff made the whole experience serene with hot stone massages following a long flight! We really enjoyed the food, a nice mixture of Indonesian and western tastes, and the Balinese dinner show was wonderful. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and could not do enough for you- big thanks to Gung, Khrishan, Nova and Shirley for making our stay so wonderful! A truly amazing stay in truly amazing Ubud. Would recommend to all!

Hotel staff very caring, cleanness was fantastic. Excellent location. Some requested services were not provided. TV initially did not work. Only local channels in my 3rd night started to work. No Netflix or Youtube connection services. Clock and alarm clock time did not work. Not replaced, neither fixed. Breakfast was abundant. You will need to request for gluten free options if you are gluten intolerant. Or lactose free options, also need to be requested. Be aware not many Continental options. Mostly Asian/Balinese food. Some French (pancakes were offered). Fruit was good. Coffee and many tea options. Watch out for extra fees when you book show and dinner at the restaurant. Drinks not included and some taxes were charged. Massage was expensive compared to outside services. Hotel is located in a good area. Walking distance to the city and amenities. Beautiful views from the hotel balcony. Two swimming pools. Great and clean.

Street view when we arrived at Best Western Premier Agung was good, very tropical and open. After checking in and finding our way to our rooms, bags being delivered, the room was small but everything we needed. Bathroom was amazing, great bath and separate shower. Bed and pillows a little hard but after enquiry by Andy, regarding this, we had our pillows replaced by lovely soft ones. Andy also cleaned, made bed and replaced towels daily, he was awesome and made our stay alot more enjoyable. Wayan also made our stay very enjoyable, tended to us for anything we needed. Buffet breakfast was amazing, so many choices for every nationality. Dinner was just an ok. Swimming pools amazing and very peaceful and tranquil surrounds. Only downside was walk back to Hotel at night, very narrow, uneven surface. Short distance of 10-15 minutes max walk to main street and very close to Ubud Markets.

This is the best of Best Western property. I have been staying at this hotel more than once but the product and the service are superb. It makes me keep coming back. Once you are inside the property, it makes you feel relax and rejuvenate your feeling.

This is one of the best places to live in Bali. 1. Location: not very far from Ubud Market, but very serene and pleasant location. 2. Facilities: Gym, infinity pool, free bicycles, great restaurant, tourism service desk, restaurants right near the hotel, 24hrs M-mart, free shuttle to market. 3. Service: one of the best service provided by the staff, special thanks to Suarmita for making our stay most memorable. 4. Food: Break fast has a wide variety and tasty spread. 5. Overall this is a star hotel with excellent service and facilities.

The hotel offers fantastic service. Everything here is over our expectations. The room with the forest view was great, quiet and clean. The buffet breakfast full of various dishes, fresh fruit, sweets etc. All the staff was professional ,helpful,friendly.: Gede, Bayu, Adi, Joan and the sweetest waitress Julia. Thanks a lot. If you're a traveler seeking a beautifully located , relaxing retreat amidst tropical paradise, this jewel of a hotel is the perfect choice. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and array of amenities, the hotel ensures an unforgettable Balinese experience. You feel right at home from the minute you arrive , where you're greeted with smiles and the most refreshing welcome drink. Check in was a breeze and our room was gorgeous and cool upon arrival. Our room had decent wifi a really good and efficient mini bar fridge which we stocked with drinks from the mini market across the road. It also had a kettle with complimentary coffee and teas. There was a television a clock alarm radio and a really efficient air conditioner . Our room also led out to a balcony facing the gorgeously sparkling pool. The seperate bathroom had a large shower and ample room , with all the usual complimentary shampoos , conditioners, toothbrushes and body lotions. Housekeeping was immaculate and very thorough! The breakfast buffet was excellent and very generous! The two tier pool was gorgeous and refreshing and the shuttle service was so convenient and only took 10mins to get to the heart of Ubud. We absolutely loved our stay . All the staff were amazing!

Great accom. in Ubud, fantastic helpful staff offering lots of info amd Ubud central bus whenever needed, pickups at night hourly. Great buffet breakfast selection, cook on spot eggs. Excellent hotel, friendly staff. The check-in process was smooth and provided necessary information. The poolside view room was great. Thank you for the honeymoon decoration. We appreciate the gesture. The room was clean with thoughtful amenities such as an umbrellas and bamboo holder to dry clothes on the  balcony. Bed was comfortable and thoughtful with soft and hard pillow per person. There was a small pillow as well. Washroom amenities were good. Necessary amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion were provided and were decent. Toothbrush, shaver was decent too. They even provided sewing kit, which was thoughtful. The pool was great. There is an area for the baby/toddler to play in. Breakfast was fantastic with vegetarian choices, live station (omelette, pan cake, waffles), sausages, and variety of breads. We love the choice of providing yoghurt, herbal drinks, and packets of milk. The hotel was thoughtful to cater for children as well. The gym was decent and open until 10pm. Treadmill, cycling, and lifting weights. Small mineral bottles and towels were provided. Complimentary afternoon tea from 2-5pm. 3 variety of small bites and changed daily. Detox water and nuts were self service at lobby. Special mention to housekeeping iluh suryantini and Front Office Janu with integrity. I left my debit card and cash (SGD 200 & USD 200) inside the Safety box. Janu WhatsApp called and informed about it. I'm touched that both staff were honest, which made me want to provide review in trip.com, Google review, and TripAdvisor. As I was already travelling to Uluwatu, Janu was able to send missing items to my hotel in Uluwatu. I'm grateful for the gesture as my plans would be spoilt if I had to return to ubud to collect. With such exceptional service, I feel safe staying in Best Western Premier again. The integrity of iluh suryantini has won our hearts. Thank you for being honest. We are glad to stay here.

We had a fantastic meal tonight at the restaurant after just arriving from the UK. Ika and her colleagues were very friendly and helpful. We had a variety of dishes, including egg fried noodle, chicken satay, snapper and burger ….and it all tasted great!

Best Hotel Great Staff … We have visited this property many many times and we absolutely love it. The staff is amazing led by Ms Alit, and surrounded by wonderful employees - Chef Bagus is awesome, as are Nanda, Nova and everyone else at the front desk. The property itself is wonderful - well maintained and clean. We wouldn't think of staying elsewhere when in Ubud. Highly recommend!!

This hotel was the best on my whole trip at a very reasonable price. Very friendly and nice staff in each department with very good behavior. Good breakfast with different cereals and fruits, especially for guests, who are not used to eat noodles, rice, meat etc. in the morning. Excursions can also be booked through the reception. The duty manager Mr. Benny was very friendly to me and also to his staff. The entire staff looked satisfied and happy. If I'm ever back in Ubud, I will definitely retour to this hotel. Every two hours there is a shuttle bus to the center, walking distance 10 to 15 minutes. Over all, the price-performance ratio is absolutely correct.

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a Bali stay! Check in was perfect and they take all cases to the room and show you in. It's clean, comfortable and rooms are always replenished with water, soap,clean towels and tea coffee etc, the cleaners are fabulous and everything is lovely after they have been in. They even provide dressing gowns, slippers and umbrellas. The air con is great about can get a bit cold!The balcony is big with a lovely stand to hang wet clothes on, 2 seats and a table!The seats are a little hard so we put cushions on them! The staff go above and beyond in every way!!!We had room service and the young lady wanted to come in and pour the drinks & not leave them at the door!!!Washing was collected and delivered very promptly. The restaurant is lovely,big and clean. Breakfast is lovely and lots to choose from, a lovely egg and pancake/waffle station.Plates are cleared as soon as youve eaten, the staff always greet you on arrival and always say enjoy your breakfast, soooo polite. We ate lunch and evening meals there too and fresh food and cooked perfectly. Special mention to the 3 lovely ladies Ika,Nova & Yuli who looked after us also gentleman Karisma. The free shuttle bus was perfect to pop you into town and runs every 2 hours, Gede was lovely and drove us down and back. The swimming pool is big and warm, it's an infinity pool and it runs over the side into another large pool.Lots of nice comfortable sun beds & provided pool towels & a poolside bar. They have a gym and spa also. There are a couple of places to eat near the hotel and little supermarket. We loved the hotel so much we spent most of our time here apart from when out on trips. The hotel organised our airport transfer and even gave us a takeaway breakfast box because we left super early. We will definitely book this hotel again when we come to Ubud we couldn't fault a thing.

I have stay for 2 nights on Nyepi. The location of the hotel is great, near the Ubud city center. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. I'll recommend this hotel to all my colleagues and definitely be back soon!!

I recently stayed at the Best Western and I had such a wonderful experience. The staff were very helpful especially my driver Gede went above and beyond to make my trip extra comfortable. Definately recommend staying her again and again. Couples or singles there are so many cool places close to the hotel.

Good honest basic 4 star hotel. Shuttle bus was good as it would be a dangerous and hot walk into town. Food was basic but cheap and fresh. The restaurant was good.Wonderful friendly staff. Nice facilities and clean room and surrounds. We would recommend staying here.

BW Agung is situated at the heart of Ubud yet the area is peaceful and quiet. Premiere service - we had the free buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and free shuttle service from and to the city center. We also had a nice room decor and free fresh fruits!

a good hotel for a honeymoon, we had a nice room with a comfortable bed and was spacious enough for a couple, the hotel atmosphere was very comfortable for enjoying drinks at the swimming pool, the food was very tasty and varied, and don't forget about the friendly staff. we love this hotel, we will for sure come back for our next holiday.❤️

We had the most amazing time at Best Western Ubud. The staff is very courteous and warm. Since it was my sister's 27th birthday they even sent a small surprise pastry and candles. On the last day my sister was a bit unwell and they went out of their way to help us. I am definitely staying here again on any future visits.

Pleasantly Surprised!! Wonderful property, near the city centre get gives you the desired space and calm. well maintained and spacious rooms. Staff is the highlight, mentioning Kadek for her assistance throughout, they have a 2 hourly shuttle to the centre which is otherwise walkable as well. Good Place, Must Try!!

Stayed at the Best Western Ubud for 8 days with a friend. The staff made the experience more enjoyable from check in, to restaurant service and to check out. Walkable 10-15 mins to Ubud palace, with the walk back to the hotel on a slight up hill but the hotel will provide a shuttle to the city centre every couple of hours. There seemed to be a few other guests staying at the hotel but with most people always out and about exploring more often than not we had the pool to ourselves. Hotel staff will assist with bringing bags to your room as (depending on where your room is) there can be a few stairs. The absolute highlight of our stay was the breakfast buffet! Not only did the staff on shift remember us and our room number each day but the food was incredible. There was a cereal station, coffee/tea/juice & Bali coffee, pancake/waffle station, made to order eggs, rotation of hot food, rotation of pastries, cold salad and fruit and also a vegetarian station. As a vegetarian I was never short of choice and with the food focus being Balinese/Asian it was wonderful feeling like I was starting the day well fed, trying new and different style cuisine and not eating a ‘typical Western breakfast'. Our room felt spacious even with two beds, clean, comfortable and air con worked well. The gym had dumb bells, cardio equipment, multi use machines and plenty of space. All spa massages etc and food ordered through the hotel can be charged back to the room to pay upon check out. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here and would consider staying here again if I was to return to Ubud.

It's a decent property, walkable from Ubud palace. Cafés , laundromat, warungs nearby too. Rooms are spacious. I had to change mine because the AC would not work and wash basin leaked. The front desk staff was very prompt in responding. The buffet breakfast was the same for all 4 days . The staff was friendly and helpful. Area was quiet and peaceful.

Good well serviced clean rooms . Nice bathroom and verandah overlooking pool area . Great massage at Spa and very reasonably priced , Ok location although a little out of central Ubud . Just felt pool area and restaurant a little run down and neglected . Pool bar not open till after midday and closed if not many clients . Breakfast very hit and miss , some mornings ok others hardly any food available at 0900hrs and couldn't find a staff member to cook eggs at the station . Staff not as friendly as other resorts in Bali , was very well priced for stay so I guess cannot complain too much .

Amazing hotel with prompt and efficient service. Benny, Mai and Lastri in front office (Sorry, unable to remember the names of other staff members in HK and F & B). Buffet BF was very good, Housekeeping standards were high. The toilets in all three rooms were pretty clean, The pool was clean and well maintained. We will be back there soon. Conveniently located within close proximity to other tourist activities and the market.

As we all know, Covid pandemic has been more than 2 years, Many hotels has not been well maintained but for sure not this hotel. The hotel is still fresh and well maintained. Bravo to the staff. This hotel staff provide an excellent service and the hotel is surround with nature and far from noise. If you miss the sound nature such as cricket, frog, water fall, then this is the right place for you.

Located about 1km from town centre,an classic hotel new renovation of some rooms,we stayed in deluxe room,quite big space with terrace. There is a small forest behind the hotel that's why it's quite.it has a pool for adult and childen, good breakfast, kind and helpful staff.There's also a gym with old equipment.This is a hotel for family It's not a modern one if like it one.

We stayed at Best Western for 2 weeks and the staff had been some of the kindest and most welcoming staff we have met. A special thanks to Aden, Tari, Adey and the rest of the staff at the restaurant for making us feel welcome everyday. We are vegan and they made special breakfast for us every morning if there were no vegan options at the buffet. Also the cleaning crew were so kind.

Overall enjoyable and comfortable stay at best western premier Agung resort. Hotel was neat and clean. Staff were super friendly and we were always greeted by them. Would definitely recommend to others.

Very beautiful place in the deep Ubud forest. Rooms very comfortable and receptionist highly professional and kind, always available to support our needs, a special thanks to Gede and Benii for their infinite availability. Breakfast was really satisfiying due to its variety of choose. It's not 5 stars just because we had to fight with many ants and insects in the room, but we know that could be hard to keep them away in the middle of a forest. Hoping this aspect will be enhanced for future guests and it will be a perfect place to stay in Bali and visit its wonderful places.

I stayed at the Best Western in Ubud for a week at the start of my trip and what a perfect way to begin. Every single staff member here is extraordinary kind and friendly. They all smile when you walk by, learn your name, and we're a pleasure to see everyday. I had a few booking issues to which the staff patiently and kindly assisted me with. Property wise the hotel is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are cleaned daily and little special touches are sometimes left (see photo below). It is located a 10 minute walk outside of town which makes it very easy to feel far away but also very safe and quick to make daily walks into town. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and was the highlight to every morning spent there. It had almost everything you could imagine and changed up every day. I really can't stay enough about how wonderful this hotel is and I absolutely recommend it to everyone reading this! Thank you guys again for making me feel so comfortable for my first week in Bali!

My sisters and I stayed here for 5 days as we had to leave our other hotel. It was a lovely stay. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Lots of nice touches and a really comfortable bed. The cleaners do a remarkable job and they are very generous with refilling toiletries and water. The breakfast was great with so much to choose from. The pool was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's in a nice quiet street but still close to central Ubud. Highly recommend.

I can highly recommend staying in Best Western, if you are in Bali Ubud. Couple of reasons for that are the really friendly hotel management, the big breakfast and the peaceful vibe of the hotel. Definitely coming back again.

We stayed 10 nights in a Deluxe Executive room and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious and very clean and the shower excellent. Breakfast offered plenty of options and Yuni looked after us very well every morning. I stayed here for 2 nights. The location is near from Ubud Palace. The hotel's surroundings is very nice and you can see green environment around you. The pool is also nice but I don't have time to swim due to short stayed here. The breakfast not so many varies but it is okay for me. The room also comfortable and clean. So with the bathroom. I enjoy when use the bathtub. Very nice. Next I will stay here again.

this hotel is a quiet and quiet place when it is night and in the morning the air is cool and the hot sun makes the atmosphere warmer. There are many choices of food with western flavors because the majority of guests in Ubud are European and on Eid holidays there are also many local guests.

The location was ideal because it was close to the city center. The rooms were clean, AC was always cold, and bathrooms were always maintained clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful beyond doubt. I would definitely come back to Best Western Ubud to enjoy the peaceful and calm environment in Ubud again. i stayed on the Best Western Ugung and it really fulfil the zen experience that I was looking for in Ubud. The place has a natural vibe to it due to its luscious forestry and the room is really cozy. I stayed at the Best Western Ugung while travelling with a group and we had a wonderful stay! The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk to the centre of the city. And it was an oasis. The property is large and has a beautiful two-level pool, restaurant and many different , separate seating areas. The room was spacious and came with a dressing area and beautiful modern bathroom. The shower had a lot of pressure and always plenty of hot water. Alit and her team did everything in her power to take care of us. They went over and above, each day! This is definitely a great choice if you are travelling to Ubud.

Good View, really neat room, all facility were good handling, swimming pool and and others. Air conditioner were nice and chill. Phone doesn't works! Room too far and too many ladders, its difficult if have so many bags. Hot water sometimes turn off by receptions, have to request to turn on. Breakfast were okay.

The way Ms Shanty handle our reservation was so proactive and attentive. Inquiries were responded promptly and seamlessly. I like the welcome drink, so natural and unique. The room, wow, so clean. Besides, Balinese touch is everywhere. The Yoga was so amazing, brilliantly tailored for our team ages and yoga experience. Trekking was amazing, so natural.The pool was clean, but the shower doesn't work. The dinner, games, karaoke and bonfire were so beautifully arranged. Ms Shanty and team were so entertaining, so that our staff was very delightful. On top of that, Covid-19 protocol was followed. So safe to stay at Best Western Ubud.

This review is based on customer service received and not actual stay at the hotel. I should have been staying here this month but due to coronavirus this is no longer possible. I had booked a non refundable stay through Expedia so contacted the hotel through their facebook page to see if they would cancel my booking so that I wouldn't lose the money I had paid out. They responded to my message in a nice and polite manner and emailed Expedia to cancel my booking meaning I am now going to get a full refund and not be out of pocket. Thank you for dealing with my request in such a polite and fair way it is really appreciated.

Great location. Near the center of Ubud for far away from the noise. Free shuttle bus to Ubud Palace(center). Great Staff. Free mineral water everyday at the room. And the cleaners can make the cuttest animals from the towels. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come back to Ubud

The staff are the loveliest and most helpful group of people! They made this a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. The facilities were clean and tidy and there is no hassle being here. Only downside was the restaurant menu which we found quite boring; breakfast was so-so and easy to get sick of. This is a nice hotel if you'd like to be a little way away from the town centre but just an easy free-shuttle in and out. You can walk to town but with the small roads and hot sun, don't expect the few kms to be easy.

The hotel is in the nature and very beautiful. The pools are amazing and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant is outstanding and the staff does a really great job with a lot of passion. Near to the end of our stay the staff at the restaurant could remember our room number and that was for sure special for us. The room was clean and big enough for us. As well as the toilet with shower and bathtub. The room service works perfect and so we twice could enjoy desserts on our balcony. During our stay at this hotel, we couldn't find anything which didn't work or wasn't to our full satisfaction. Definitely a great and beautiful place to stay, when visiting Bali. Terima kasih!

This has to be the best value for money on Bali! The premises is such a luxurious property, with 2 pools, a spa and perfectly appointed rooms. The staff is unbelievable--like something from a 6 star hotel in the Middle East. Beny went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. With the shuttle service, this property offers the perfect blend of being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud, but being a short (air conditioned) ride away so you can enjoy the activities, too. I was here solo, but would definitely come back with my family.

We are leaving here tomorrow , stayed 4 days and it is a lovely hotel with staff who greet you with a smile every time they see you , they are very helpful. The hotel is quiet , the sun beds have thick pads on them and are very comfortable . We didn't have any problem getting one on a morning . The hotel provides a shuttle in to town but you can get a taxi for £2 with grab or local about £3 it takes 5 mins . If you need a taxi from the airport or just to go around sight seeing , we used a lady called Kadek ,She was always on time , speaks excellent English and had all the local knowledge . We really appreciated our upgrade to a double executive room on the ground floor because of my husband's leg injury, from a 3rd floor superior room booking. Besides that, the room and bath was super clean, the bed and pillows were heavenly and breakfast had good choices and fresh fruits. It has a good size pool but we didn't have a chance to use unfortunately. It was a pleasant surprise that they provided a hi-tea snacks corner in the lobby as you check in. Definitely coming back to stay again!

I'll start off by saying that I live in Bali and have visited Ubud countless times and stayed in about 7 different fabulous hotels (generally in town). I came to this hotel on my baby moon, read the good reviews and decided it would be nice to stay a bit out of the town for once. While the hotel is well maintained (it's large, clean, with nice rooms), it's honestly just missing the magic that you generally experience in Ubud. I've stayed at many hotels where staff goes above and beyond, but here they really don't seem to care (not even saying hello) - here's a great example: we arrive and the staff tells us the hotel is very empty (low season), yet decide NOT to upgrade us to a nicer room (why not make guests happy?). Furthermore I was 9 months pregnant and they put me IN A ROOM WHERE I HAD TO WALK UP + DOWN 3 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS EVERY SINGLE TIME??? This was absolutely ridiculous and when I said something at the end, their response was "oh you didn't tell us" - like I clearly look 9 months pregnant. I was shocked by this lack of accountability. Breakfast buffet was fine - but afternoon tea was a joke. I partly booked here due to the option of tea, but it was really disappointing. Just some instant tea/coffee and disgusting looking old cakes. If you look at my other reviews you will see some other hotels where I've stayed and honestly they were the same price, better located and far far superior. Will not be staying here again.

Great pool with a great view. Location is good, 1 km outside Ubud Center, but with flexible shuttle service. The restaurant breakfast was ok. The service left a bit to be desired. Perhaps it was the low season, but it seemed as though things were just mooving a bit slow. We had a few requests which were not met, even though there were more staff at the hotel than there were guests.

Such a nice experience to have been at this hotel. Since my wife and I arrived the staff welcomed us so warmly, they were all always so kind and friendly. We have no complaint about this hotel, location is perfect just away from the noise of busy city centre but well connected by the shuttle service that the hotel offers; all the facilities look like new, it seems to us they not only care about guests but also their infrastructure which is kind of modern but still with a lot of Balinese style. Room was huge, comfortable and quiet with a nice terrace. What we loved the most was the calm atmosphere and the restaurant service, every single dish was tasty and absolutely mouthwatering, presentation was on top. My wife who is a chef really enjoyed breakfast buffet she was in love with the variety of pastries, vegetables, cheese, sausages, fresh fruits served everyday. All menu was delicious and good priced and came out quickly, waitresses were so attentive and always trying to go beyond our expectations. All the staff were so lovely and always had a smile for us, we really felt like home. Thanks BW staff you're truly amazing, you definitely made us our dream trip unforgettable. We just regret we couldn't stay longer in Ubud and the only three nights we stayed in this hotel we couldn't enjoy at all the hotel facilities but for sure next time we'll definitely be back to this hotel, hopefully very soon! We had a three night stay in Ubud in January and could not fault the service. Always friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Everyone working on reception could not have been more welcoming and helpful but we need to make a special mention of Mia on reception whose service went to extraordinary levels in order to help me book some activities. Thanks you Mia! We found the hotel to be secure, quiet and with the shuttle service only a short run down to Ubud centre we found it convenient. It is a good compromise to be close to the restaurant and shopping action without being swamped in it. I would recommend.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Room was spacious and clean. The pools, restaurant, and all surrounding area was clean and tidy. Morning air was cool and fresh. The staff I would give 6 stars if there was option, very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was quick with no time wastage.

If you are considering booking this hotel I would strongly advise you do! We stayed an amazing 10 days here, and we enjoyed every second of it! The staff were brilliant, so attentive to every detail and spoke amazing English. The breakfast was amazing it had something for everyone. The pool was fabulous, spotless and so relaxing. We even got massages in the spa and did the free morning yoga which made the whole experience so relaxing! The location of the hotel is just a five minute walk to central Ubud so it's great if you want to explore the town on foot. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the price, staff, location and food are all 10/10. I hope to be back someday!

I have travelled to more than 40 countries thusfar. Best Western Ubud certainly rates as one of the better hotels that I have visited. I am saying this purely because of the fantastic service that my wife and myself have experienced during our last visit. We stayed for 10 nights and usually one would find some issue with service or amenities if you stay for this length of time - we can only say WOW...no issues at all. A very big thank you to Mia (Guest Relations Officer) and her team (Gede, Ariani and Kadek), well done for the great service you guys provided. A big highlight for me was the Chicken Betutu in the restaurant - best I have had in Bali on what was my 13th visit !! Chef even gave my wife some tips on how to prepare it upon our return to Cape Town !! The value for money we received, was worth every penny. I highly recommend this place. There is also a shuttle service to the city centre and if well planned you don't need to spend money on taxis.

I stayed here on June 2019 with my family. Nice and spacious room. The pool bar was closed when we went to the swimming pool on 4 pm. my family and I stayed for 7 nights - it was amazing - This hotel have the best staff - friendly and helpful all the time. from the shuttle service guy Suarmita, who always had a beautiful smile to greet us to the front office staff/receptionist who everyday asked how our stay was. Our A/C didn't work in the first room but they were quick to move us. Breakfast was fantastic and they provide a box breakfast if you have an early morning. Pool was awesome, great drinks, and food if you want to stay in. Staff was also helpful and we used the free shuttle almost everyday. Would stay again!

Everything was fine at the hotel until after a long day I wanted to go to sleep and LOUD LIVE MUSIC - interestingly with no audience - right beside all of the first floor rooms. Like my bedroom is in a concert. Paying $100s and $100s of dollars for a nice room at a nice hotel and not being able to go to sleep. C'mon. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen at a "nice" hotel.

Yes, the facilities are very nice, the rooms clean, everything works. But is is the attentiveness of the staff that makes the place stand out. They frequently solicit the opinion of customers and anticipate what you might want or need. Stayed three nights.

Everything in the hotel was great. The breakfast was excellent with many different choices. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and cosy rooms. And also has a great spa to comfort yourself.

Spend 3 nights at this hotel with my wife and our little boy. Wonderful staff, trying to help you in every kind of situation. Especially Tamia (hope I spelled her name right) made our stay wonderful by acting in a orofesdinpro, friendly, charming and efficient way. Beautiful, very clean pool with a big part of it being suitable for an infant while still fitting perfectly into the dirrousurro nature. High quality breakfast buffet with daily bew, fresh items like coconut juice, different kinds of tasty granola etc. Modern, perfectly clean hotel with wonderful Balinese decor. I like very much the hotel. Is very close to the city center, you can walk if you want. The staff is very very friendly and they help you with everything. The room was very clean, they came every day to change the towels. The pool is also mazing. Me and my friends we felt very good.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel while touring Ubud. The hotel is stunning and the location was a perfect spot for a getaway in the green surroundings. When we arrived, the front desk informed us that they were able to upgrade the room we had booked which was a great start to our holiday! The staff were very polite and always greeted us with a smile through the day. Gede especially was very kind to provide us with information on things to do locally and the cultural aspects of Ubud. Our room was cleaned daily and the staff left animal shaped towels which was a rather cute gesture! We had a wonderful stay and definitely recommend the hotel to travellers.

Beautiful hotel, staff was incredible nice and warm, room was super clean and confy, and the swimming pool was amazing. We had one problem during one night with the noise that came from a machine in the outside, and they solved it immediatly. They also asked us if we would like to change the room. So, we have nothing to complain. I recommend it to everyone that stays in Ubud. =)

When we first arrived the hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The pool has panoramic view of the vast greenery surrounded by the hotel. The rooms are very clean and modern with large beds. It was one of our birthdays and the staff gave us a cake. Furthermore everyday afternoon tea is available but I would say I was not as happy with the selection on offer. A shuttle service is provided into the main town for free, however you can walk into the town it takes around 15 minutes.

A very quiet place surrounded with lush greenery, perfect place to relax and remote yourself from a congested and busy cities of Bali.Situated 10 to 15 mins from the city center and the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle for drop off and pick up that i found it so helpful and convenient. In the reception welcome drink and snack is available. The staff are so genuine, professional and courteous especially the Gede, Juni in Front Desk and the lady in the breakfast area and the guy in omellette station(sadly, i forgot their names). Breakfast is serve outdoor, its wide in variety and delicious. Pool was amazing!!! The room was sparkling clean, quiet, cozy and well maintained plus the great view from our terrace with great view of sunset and temple. So many great things to say. Overall, our 3 days 2 nights stay was excellent!!! Highly recommended!

Over all is good and the staff very fantastic.. Start from the frontliner, the waiter and the room is very wonderfull with the decorate towel look like elephant or crab. The slice fruit also already set up .. For sure i will come back if i stay in ubud

The first thing that I love the most was "activity" They provide a bunch of different program . some of them were free and some of them have fee . I could choose free walking tour . It was totally satisfied, even though I and my friend only apply for this activity , they willing to open the walking tour. Second thing is "high quaility services" My first room was humid so I told to the hotelier about this matter, they alrightly changed our room to the better conditioned one . Third one is " free breakfast" Every menu they prepare was so fittable to me And also clean I won't be able to forget this hotel And If i have an opportunity I'll choose this hotel again! Thanks for everything you guys offer!!!!

This is a true gem in Ubud, I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent service, friendly staff they surely know how to make you feel at home. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, great comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was good too, daily shuttle service to center of Ubud. I must thank GEDE one of the drivers for his friendly smile and helpfulness.

Amazing stay and staff were Great. The location is 10min away by walk from ubud market. Very safe and quiet location. If you arrive during the night you feel a little lost but during the day you realize this location is perfect and safe.

The room was very spacious with open balcony. Room service was great . We enjoyed complimentary breakfast with variety of dishes and drinks. Location is bit isolated and require car or bike to commute.

In October, 2019, I visited Ubud with three friends for the annual Ubud Writers and Readers Festival. We all stayed at the Best Western, Ubud and it suited us perfectly for our week's stay. We each booked a deluxe premier room. Two of the group were upgraded to the next level. All of the rooms were large, comfortable and reasonably-priced with a pleasant, leafy and quiet outlook. The higher level rooms were one floor above the deluxe premier rooms and were larger. However, all rooms had plenty of space and lovely bathrooms. Every few days, we received a delicious platter of fresh fruit. The hotel grounds are spacious and there were lots of places including beautiful pavilions for our group to meet up for a drink and a chat. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of fresh tropical fruit and juices as well hot and cold dishes. If I could make just one improvement, it would be to the quality of the Western pastries. However, the bread and the homemade papaya jam were very good. The real standout was the staff. They could not do enough for us even driving us to the festival venue each day. They were charming and friendly. It is hard to single out just one member of staff but Mia was so welcoming and made sure she saw us every day to check how we were going. When we left, she gave each of us a really tasteful, hand-made gift. I would definitely stay at the Best Western if I returned to Ubud

Great service, reasonable food and not expensive, perhaps by Bali standards. Room was clean and functional, garden or forest facing was perfect (half naked tourists you can see anywhere) so watching tropical birds and squirrels was nice. One gripe, food choice was a bit limited. Spa was amazing. I would recommend to anyone to try the spa. The shuttle to town I didn't use, it's only about 6 minutes walk and perfectly safe even at night. Pools are exactly what they look like. Basically if your used to Hilton's then this place will do, no creepy crawlies. One cat, which disappeared shortly after I ordered satay for dinner one night but I was pleased to see him again on my last night (phew, how the mind wanders!). Pool towels, bathrobes and all bathroom amenities provided.

I really love the property, the location is close to the Ubud center. Absolutely feels like home and great atmosphere I feel during stay. One of the staff (Ms. Yustini) is very helpful and so friendly. Will be back for sure❤️

Hotel is very serene and green. We were taken care of as soon as we reached and greeted with welcome drink. Staff was very helpful and provided all the information required. It is located slightly far from city centre but if you like walking around, it takes 15-20 minutes to reach Ubud center. If you like massages, please use the one right outside the hotel. Overall a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Food is a challenge for vegeterians, not many options in the restaurant. Breakfast was nice and we had overall good time. While we did not use the pool it was nice.

The place is Very clean. The overall atmosphere is relaxing. Breakfast there was perfect. Even though they are 900 meters from Ubud center, they have a shuttle service to Ubud Center which makes life even easier.

For the first time in my life , stay in a hotel and they personally asked me what do I want to have for breakfast, something that I long for, since I live in Germany I craved to eat lontong sayur and voila! They made it for me , wooow its not about the taste but they really made it only for me, it really touched me (I attached the pic , big bowl of the Lontong Sayur).Thank you for Mbak Mia I guess she is a PR of the hotel. Great service, got upgrade room, room was clean, bathroom also clean and super! I love to stay here, never regret to choose this hotel to stay in ubud. You just have to walk about 5-8 minutes to Ubud market. Ubud has changed its no longer as a peaceful place, its full if tourist.

Staying at Best Western Ubud definitely become one of our great memories in Bali. Me and my husband visit Bali as part of our 2nd honeymoon. After some research and read many comment, we decided to stay here. The room was beautiful and clean. Love the swimming pools. The food also really good. All hotel staff are very nice and always give warm smile to us. On our last day, we spoke with Mia, a beautiful lady who recommend us with some nice dinning place. I'll be back again for sure!! So glad to get to spend a night at Best Western Premier Ubud just recently! The resort is not big and a walk ( 15 mins or so) to the Ubud city Centre, nonetheless such a delightful place with landscape well maintained and friendly staff. The room is cosy and well appointed with comfortable bedding and bathroom with separate shower and long bath. Western style Breakfast is good, and there is also hi tea served at lobby area at 3 pm with some snacks and hot beverage. Overall a wonderful stay, just a small comment that the shuttle pick up point from Ubud Centre was not clearly explained to us, we waited for a long time outside the palace and couldn't get to catch it. Maybe good to have a picture to show how the shuttle looks like Abd where the pick up is exactly for those who did not take it from hotel. It's a good thing that we could walk back to the hotel and it was safe to walk with some lights at night as well.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and their hospitality was commendable. Nice friendly staff and always ready to help. They also organised a cake for my wife on her birthday on our checkout. Everything was perfect, the staff were extremely friendly and serve from their heart. The breakfast menu also has so many variety. The pool also nice. They even have a medium pool in down level area, which perfect to bring my child into it. I would recommend Best Western to my colleague and would really love to stay here again one day

Lovely hotel walkable to main area of Ubud. Rooms and bathrooms quite nice. Breakfast was mostly good (omelet not cooked well). Dinner was good on first night but that's the only time we ate there. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

From check in to check out , no problems at all. A very comfortable stay looked after very professional and friendly staff who are the real jewel in the crown of this hotel. The room was very well appointed with nice towels, toiletries , water , snacks and immaculately clean. A huge comfortable bed, along with the hotel's quiet location meant that we slept well. Plenty of choice of good food at breakfast and again at dinner. Freshly prepared and well served. The treatments we had at the spa ( massages and reflexology) were divine and we left the hotel after staying ther for four nights feeling much better than we did on arrival. The frequent shuttle service into town is an added bonus as is the lovely afternoon tea. The staff could not be more helpful or caring with regards to the comfort and happiness of their guests. Would we stay there again ? Most definitely!

Greaaat the first impression arrived at the hotel,the Reception was welcoming with a friendly and served with a welcome drink and oshibori towel with the aroma of lemon grass make me relax after passing through traffic. very complete facilities for traveler. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the Ubud center every 1 hour. for the room condition is very clean, neat and fragrant plus the view of the garden is very nice and make me fall in love and the Hote hotel also prepare the welcome fruit. Oh ya.. and the wifi is very excelent (fast).... In the morning I take breakfast, the staff in Restaurant welcoming with a smile and friendly make me feel enjoy to join breakfast,the Menu of breakfast food is very varied, tasty and neatly arranged. after breakfast I will try to swim. the swimming pool is very instragamable adn the water is also clean and clear.very happy to be able to stay at the best western ubud. and I will recommend to all my friends and colleague to stay here. thank you Best western Premiere Ubud.

I really appreciate everything from the good breakfast to the swimming pool. It is very clean and having two bottles of water every day was quite useful. In the end I recommend to use the hotel bikes they are not free bit they don't coat too much. It really a nice hotel.

Nice location to start our Bali holiday , dated but large rooms, staff super friendly and helpful. Nice pool to lounge by. Negatives where the room was not made up to around 2.30pm , to late !! and the courtesy bus into town needs to run more often , hourly from hotel and on the half hour back , not a great walk back to the hotel in the dark.

This was our second stay and again we were just so delighted with the super friendly staff including the very responsive and capable General Manager, the comfortable and sensibly designed rooms, the wholesome and delicious buffet breakfast and the reliable shuttle service. This resort will take all the stress out of your holiday and ensure you feel totally re-energised. We will definitely stay again!!

I'm amazed by the friendliness & cheerful hospitality extended to me on my visit. Best location with proximity to city centre this place offers clean,relaxes & a comfortable stay at reasonable package. I am impressed particularly by one of their staff members,Vendy. Knowledgeable,helpful,lending me insights into the Balinese way of life,it's culture & religious practices. The rooms are comfortable,spacious,with crisp clean linen & toiletries. Breakfast spread is too good and there's something for everyone. Clean Organic living as the Balinese culture goes. Will visit again here. It's just that their spa service quality needs improvement.

We stayed here from 9th - 12th August after landing at night and just needed a place to get over the long journey and get our bearings so this hotel was ideally situated for our start. (Only 1 hour from airport) The Hotel, staff and surroundings were amazing, we only regret not staying here longer. On arrival we had a very speedy and informative check-in then shown to our rooms, the pictures do not lie and we loved every minute of our stay here. The rooms were spotlessly clean (one of our major requirements) and all the staff kept the hotel, grounds and rooms to a 5* standard. Situated looking over dense jungle this hotel made you feel like you were in the midst of it. Surprisingly not many mosquitoes as we were told which has got to be a result of the high quality cleanliness and regular spraying (which did not affect our stay in the slightest) All-in-all and excellent hotel which we would recommend and most definitely return to one day. Thanks again to all the staff.

We stayed here for 2 weeks.Very peaceful, quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. An easy 10 mins walk to main streets or use the shuttle service provided free of charge. Lovely staff, all very helpful and friendly.

My partner and I, stayed here last week we found the staff very helpful the free drop off and pick up was a bonus, they drop you by the palace where if you time right can see a wonderful balanise dance, great breakfast selection,great pools the place was always clean and tidy, the only downside was a lot of stairs which could be a problem for older travelers and the menu which we didn't try for this reason is at the bottom in small writing is notice saying there is a 21% surcharge after your meal, if the price was inclusive as were ever restaurant we ate in I'm sure its be a different story, but dont let that put off a wonderful hotel

I have many good things to say about this resort, which I booked using Best Western rewards points. Ubud is a busy district of Bali, but the hotel is far enough away from the hustle and bustle so you can get peace and quiet and solid sleep. They also have a regular free shuttle to take you to the busy tourist strip roads if you're so inclined. Lots to see. However, let's start the rest of this review from the top. The airport pickup was decent and not too expensive; the welcome drink was refreshing as well. The room itself is well-appointed and the bathroom is very tastefully decorated. And well-stocked with amenities. The internet is decent but not spectacular. TV selection leaves much to be desired but you wouldn't stay in such a place just to watch foreign TV, right? The breakfast is very well-stocked and there's a good restaurant for those inclined to eat lunch or dinner there. The pool is a two-level affair with a little built-in waterfall. (Pics included.) Price is VERY reasonable given what's included. They also give a one hour complimentary massage on top of everything else. Tours of other areas of Ubud and Bali can be arranged for a reasonable fee. Checkout was also hassle free. Would definitely stay here again if I go to Bali.

I liked this hotel for its peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to the main attractions. The breakfast was good but not a reason you'd be staying here. The rooms were nicely appointed. I would stay again for sure.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. It is about a 10 minute walk from the centre but they offer a shuttle bus also. The pool area is beautiful and very peaceful. The room was gorgeous, very spacious and an excellent shower - bathroom also very big. We both used the spa and it was fabulous - albeit expensive for Bali prices. The breakfast buffet was okay - a bit lacking but could get freshly cooked eggs and pancakes. Coffee options could be improved. Our only real issue was that my friend left laundry in -a few gym t shirts and it cost 43 Australian dollars which was absolutely ludicrous. This left a bit of a sour taste of being ripped off considering laundry prices locally. Other than that, it is a beautiful hotel and a great place to stay in Ubud.

The resort is strategically located in the top rated area in Ubud. All the staff, facilities and hotel location are excellent. Smiling staff always made my day. My booking include free massage for 30 minutes and it was the best massage of my life. I even paid extra to extend for another 30 mininutes.The fitness center is available during day and night time. I always train for marathon, and this helps me a lot even though I'm on vacation.The pool is my favorite, nice spot to take pictures and of course to relax. They have shuttle service that helps you to go to Ubud Center and it's available hourly. You can find different local tourist spots and restaurants to try. Breakfast was great, but I always find places oustide the resort to try local cuisines. My room is always clean and tidy. I dont stay too much in the room because there are too many things to see in Bali. Will recommend this beautiful resort to my friends, its like staying in diamond star resort hotel.

This is our second experience,the resort is still great. The staff was helpful and good service, specially they remember us. The resort area is clean with green, amazing and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious with many variation of food, we like the egg corner. The room is verry clean with comfortable bed. My daughter loved to swimming at the pool with clear water. This resort is really peaceful resort in Ubud with green and jungle view, amazing location surrounded by nature and a peaceful atmosphere. We travelling with family and the shuttle car was very helpful so much. Would go back again.

I stayed for 2 nights .. this is my second visit in this hotel, it is still like yesterday they provide a good service .. hotel properties are still good, still like new .. my room was very clean .. The staff is very friendly and helpful, many area attractions near the hotel such as the kecak dance kaja park every Wednesday and Saturday, Campuhan hill, as well as a museum of paintings and art .. very close range to the center of Ubud can walk .. nasi goreng my favorite menu.. each to Ubud will go back again.

Initially, I did not expect much to get a good service from this type of chain hotel. Upon arrival, the receptionist lady explained us clearly and the check-in process was quite fast. When arrive at the room, it made me surprised as the room is bigger than I expected only a little water leakage when we used bathtub. Next day, we planned to travel around Ubud, Ubud is amazing only about the heavy traffic all around Ubud which I hate the most. As next day is my birthday and we are quite tired from travelling outside so, we decided to ask hotel to arrange special dinner for us and it came out as very nice table set-up with great Balinese food taste. It was one of my memorable birthday dinner. Then, we took cooking class as we would like to experience Balinese cuisine and it never disappoint me at all. Early morning, Sous-Chef (Chef Bagus) and his assistant (Savitri) brought us to morning wet market to explain how is the local life, what are the main ingredients in Balinese dishes etc. Then, we were heading back to hotel and their cooking class set-up was very cute. Chef Bagus and his team were very caring and funny - we enjoyed cooking class at Best Western so much. I would like to say thank you to all the staffs at Best Western Ubud especially F&B team (Chef Bagus and Ms.Savitri) for very nice both set-up for my Birthday dinner and cooking class. Also, every staffs are very friendly, very caring - keep asking our feedback during the stay. It made my stay at this hotel memorable and very happy.

As part of a G Adventures tour I checked in fairly late at night and left fairly early the next morning. Upon arriving back at the hotel in the afternoon, I discovered my door had not locked. So I had spent a night in an unlocked room and my room had been unlocked all day. A maintenance person replaced the lock while I went out for the evening. When I returned, the lock was emitting an intermittent beep. Eventually the maintenance person came back and fixed the beep. Things sometimes go awry and at first I wasn't annoyed. I became annoyed when an employee of the hotel came around at breakfast and asked clients about their experience at the hotel. She asked those who had a good experience to write a tripadvisor review. She did not ask me to write a review. The next morning at checkout I asked if I would get some compensation because I had been provided a room without a working lock. Later that day I received a pro forma insincere apology letter from the manager and no compensation. I contrast this experience to the hotel I stayed at in Jakarta. In Jakarta they forgot to send my airport transfer and I had to take a taxi to the hotel. The night desk clerk apologized and told me he would inform his manager and I would get some compensation. The hotel manager in Jakarta gave me my choice of a free lunch or a free massage for three days. The maintenance person and the housekeeping staff in Best Western in Ubud were quite nice. The front desk staff was adequate. As for the manager, I think he needs to emulate the culture at the Jakarta hotel. I hope he does not respond by sending one of his employees around at breakfast and ask the clients who were provided a room with a working lock to write a positive review on tripadvisor.

It's an hotel that's on a little distance from the main street but the advantage is a very nice and quiet surrounding. Very nice hotel with very nice staff and facilities. The breakfast is good quality!

Spent five nights here great quiet location! Breakfast selection is great and lunch/dinner menu is good value. Pool area maintenance taking place while we were there, we were asked to move sun lounger straight away but staff friendly and helped out. Walk into Ubud which is fab.

Even when you complain no body is taking responsibility and getting back to you.Charm bracelet was missing from the room no compensation no apology! Even was not able to speak with a manager!So if you wanna relax and enjoy Ubud definitely choose another hotel!

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights a lovely executive room and a deluxe twin. The Executive is recommended as well with the extra. Staff really helpful pool small but nice very quiet when we were there. Very close to all Ubud sites. Plenty of bars and restaurants etc. Great for a short stay .

If you want to stay out of your busyness , and looking for a peaceful and nice hotel. this place is absolutely good. Swimming pool is good, internet speed is good and also the breakfast is nice. Highly recommended in UBUD

We (family with 2 kids) had pleasant stay at Ubud. Resort is clean and well maintained. Very cordial staff. Facilities are worth the price and the property has a positive atmosphere. However there are still rooms for improvements. 1. Breakfast could have been better. Should include more options. 2. Shuttle service to Ubud center should be made on demand, if not at every 30 minutes or so.

From the time of arrival, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, absolutely lovely people! The room was really nice - modern, clean and a great view of the pool & rainforest. The location was quite central and walking distance to tow.but the free shuttle to and from the centre was even more convenient and easy to arrange. We had a scoopon voucher which was fantastic value and included meals, daily cocktails and an amazing massage. After the crazy drive from the airport, it was instantly relaxing and wish we could of stayed longer!

We stayed here as a group and everything was great from check-in through to departure. The hotel is covers all the necessaties and has beautiful views and accommodating staff. The rooms were such good value for money and were comfortable. The pool area is nice with a great view and nice cocktails at the bar. The restaurant had lovely dinner meals however, the breakfast was just okay. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want to experience Balinese Ubud culture and scenery outside of the busy Ubud streets at an affordable rate.

A very nice hotel with lovely staff and a genuine willingness to help. I can't praise them highly enough. We stayed for 3 nights just last week and it is well positioned to the town and shopping area. It only cost around£50 per night with breakfast and was well worth the money

This hotel has all the modern conveniences, especially terrific air con and fast WiFi, whilst retaining a really Ballinese feel. My room had a beautiful jungle outlook and was clean and nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. The pool and the surrounding gardens were just gorgeous.

I stay for 3 nights with family and the hotel is very nice. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is good and the room is spacious and clean. The restaurant also very delicious though the menu is limited.

My wife and I stayed 7 nights with a scoopon voucher at this wonderful resort and wished we had stayed longer, the staff were outstanding they couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The buffet breakfast was sensational with lots to choose from and we also had a choice of a lunch or dinner , the shuttle service into Ubud was great because it is about a 15-20 walk.We would not hesitate to return again to this resort and highly recommend if you staying in Ubud to try this place you will not be disappointed. See you again next year!

We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed this place. There's a nice pool in pretty garden surroundings. Rooms are spacious with a large bathroom with bath as well as shower. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The free shuttle bus to and from the town centre is a great facility as the location means it is a 15 minute walk into town, but it is nice & peaceful away from the bustle of town centre. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

My husband and I booked to stay 3 nights through Scoopon- great deal We wouldn't have booked this hotel otherwise as we like to stay in villas But We had the most wonderful stay! We extended 1 night and our flight home was cancelled so stayed another 2 nights!! The setting is great because there a still a couple of rice paddies around the hotel, it backs into the jungle which is still found in the gorges The staff were all lovely so helpful and really great to chat to, The room was a little dark - but that's my only complaint! The bed was large and Very comfy, aircon great, bathroom large and lovely with stone walls and a natural skylight The food was great - breakkie was included And we had a couple of lunches there too The pools are great- one is an infinity the other perfect for families and kids We will stay here again next time in Ubud! You can walk to town but we had a bike so it was really quick to pop in when we needed to! A big thanks to Ayu Sri for checking in on us several time to see how our stay was going!

I was so lucky to find this place. I was met by staff with a cold towel and complimentary drink. I was so warm, but my reception was nothing less than that either. This property has a spa where you can get treatments/massages, a full service restaurant, a wonderful pool, and beautiful grounds. The best part of this property is that it is NOT in the hustle of the center of Ubud, where traffic is horrible, but you are a short taxi/moped drive away. If you want a fantastic experience, this is the place to be. If you need some peace and quiet, this is the location. The staff will do everything within their power to make sure you can book excursions and have the very best experience ever. Don't overlook this great place. Check out my photos.

My review is based on the fact that this property is listed as 4 star, I really don't think it is. I have read back through some of the previous reviews and although the hotel has been open for a couple of years I don't think any of the issues a have been addressed at all. The first problem is check in, it takes a long time as there is only ever one person on the check in desk and you have to wait a while if there are people ahead of you. Next problem is room allocation, they couldn't provide the rooms we requested and paid for nearly 12 months in advance. They then downgraded us rather than upgrading us to solve the problem. Some work needs to be done there, as it reminds me of hotels in Bali circa 1990 and with so much competition in the hotel market in Bali they really need to improve. Next problem was general service and it was really poor, especially the pool bar, it was hit and miss to find anyone there and if no one was around you had to walk upstairs to the restaurant. Yes the staff are nice and smiley and I'm sure people love saying that "so and so" was really helpful but I didn't get great service from anyone there. The gym is also not up to scratch, half the plug in machines don't work and there was no water available at certain times. The food is really average, not bad but certainly nothing special, always small servings and the breakfast got very boring very quick, the only thing that changed was the selection of Asian style food. The place is also disintegrating slowly, there was some minor maintenance going on but not much. The pool in particular has so many loose tiles that my kids made a game of picking them off the bottom and stacking them up, they reached a record of 30 in one day (they weren't unpicking them, just getting the ones that has already come off). Security seems non existent or either that is unobtrusive to an extreme, I did fell a little unsafe here. Its not great but not terrible and I probably wouldn't return but its price point may appeal to some people.

We are currently enjoying a lovely 3 night stay here in Ubud. I am extremely great full that this hotel honoured our booking at a later date after having to cancel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. I can highly recommend this hotel. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the wonderful staff. Upon arrival you are greeted with a welcome drink and speedy check in. We arrived early and our room was not quite ready but as we were able to safely stow our luggage we took a stroll into Ubud. Later we were shown our room and had everything explained to us. The room is just lovely, the highlight being a fabulous bathroom with rain shower and a balcony overlooking both the pool and the lush valley. Everything is supplied including shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, shaving kit etc so you don't have to worry about packing all that extra stuff. The bed is extremely comfortable with an abundance of pillows. We were also treated to a welcome plate of fresh fruit. The hotel offers a shuttle service into Ubud which is very convenient. Breakfast is amazing with a selection of hot savoury food, cereals, pastries, cakes, fruits. They will also make eggs anyway you like and pancakes with options of banana,strawberries, chocolate, nuts etc. We made use of the hotels complimentary morning rice paddy walk which is an easy stroll through the picturesque landscape. We found the pool lovely, with a gorgeous infinity edge and plenty of lounge chairs. We were fortunate enough to be offered a buffet dinner on two nights as part of our package and found the food to be both plentiful and delicious. We had choices of soup, bread, salads, Indonesian dishes, pasta, chicken, beef, rice, vegetables etc. A selection of desserts such as traditional cake, fried banana, fruits and tartlets. A special mention to Savitri who took special care in ensuring we were happy with everything. She goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable and is keen to know if any improvements can be made. Also to Chef Bagus, who is a delightful man also concerned with how he can improve the food and interested in what we like and don't like about the food. He has an amazing smile and is genuinely concerned with the enjoyment of the food. Lastly a big thank you to Janu who took us on our morning walks. There is also a spa which we haven't tried yet but will later , but I'm sure will be nice too. One suggestion for an improvement would be some extra shelving in the room for clothing.

Very friendly and professional staff members who are completely accommodating who will go above above and beyond for their guests. Food was delicious, room service was fantastic..... we really enjoyed our stay!

A very nice hotel, 10 minutes walk from city center. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very good & wise. The bathroom is very nice & clean. The breakfast buffet is adequate, however can be improved a bit. Everyone here is doing his best to please you.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Best Western in Ubud. I come back every time because of the exceptional service from Miss Alit and all her staff. In all my years of travelling I must say with hand on heart that the staff at this hotel are the friendliest and most welcoming I have ever seen . It was my birthday the day before arriving , the front desk manager must have picked up on it when he copied my passport , within an hour of checking in I had a knock at my door and to my pleasant surprise the head chef and staff had a special cake plated up with my name and they all sung happy birthday ....it was very special ...they really go out of their way to look after u.....the food is the restaurant is great , the chef makes the best bruschetta and banana fritters in Bali ....the hotel provides a shuttle service into the heart of Ubud which is great ... I highly recommend this hotel , the reason I keep coming back is for the GM miss Alit and her staff , they all go out of their way to make u have the most enjoyable holiday ...I will be back for a 4th time later in the year ... THANK U again Miss Alit , chef, Putri, Dea and all your staff for making my trip so special xxx U are my family away from home xxx

Just a beautiful well designed hotel. When I arrived I was greeted and given a free upgrade of my room. Staff were amazing, beautiful and friendly. Food was great, basic menu but Ubud has plenty of eateries to visit.

This is a beautiful, clean and very conveniently located hotel. They have upgraded us to a garden room, which was very nice and the staff at the hotel are super nice and go out of their way to provide an amazing customer service. The swimming pool is very nice and not crowded and the breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and I loved that they put so much attention on having clean rooms!! We will definitely be back!!

I have spent six days at Best Western in Ubud in April 2019. The hotel had its two years anniversary while I was there. It is easy to see that the hotel is not older. Everything worked nothing to complain about. The outdoor area was very nice with a lot of green plants. My room was large, had a vey nice bathroom and balcony that overlooked the pools. The pool area is nice. It was never crowded and I was always able to get a sun bed. Some of the tiles in the pool were loose, so somebody didn't do their job properly when it was built. The restaurant had a very nice breakfast, with both Asian and European food. The menu card did not include many dishes but those of them I tasted were great. The restaurant is a bit more expensive than the restaurants found in Ubud city center. I received a 30 minutes massage as part of my booking that I upgraded to an hour Balinese massage. The massage was great and among the best I got in Ubud (I got massage every day), but it was also very expensive compared to downtown - 3-4 times more. The gym was very nice. You could find all that was needed. The staff was very helpful and always very polite. They did a big difference and really made me enjoy my stay. The hotel offered a shuttle to Ubud center every hour, but it only took 15 minutes easy walk to the center. All in all a very great hotel.

This was our first stay at this hotel. Wow! I was very impressed with the hotel grounds with wonderful views. Walking distance to ubud town. Only took around 10 min. Hotel provide free shuttle.Rooms are new and clean. Love beds and pillows. Very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Our restaurant ladies Sri fitri and yuni and other ladies were excellent. My husband had a cold so we ate at restaurant every night. Staff even remembered my drink preference etc Food was delicious. We tried both Balinese and western. Also a special mention to marketing manager Ayu. We spoke with her many times and she always checked that patrons were happy . We loved the pool area. Stunning. We have booked to come again in August.

Nice hotel, not too large. Excellent caring staff - they kindly gave us a late check out. The Pool and pool bar were good. Rooms were standard hotel rooms, not large but sufficient for 3 nights. Very clean. Pillows were a bit too large, and the hotel changed them immediately. Breakfast wasn't the best we've had but was satisfactory. Can't quite decide why, perhaps the quality of ingredients, coffee, bread werent delicious. Salad and fruit similarly. The hotel is very good value though and nicely located just outside of the main downtown. Would stay again

PERFECT ACCOMODATION, DON'T GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ! Stayed with my girlfriend, I got recommendation from my friends. Basicly I never known about Ubud much, so guess no wondering if I would be able to imagine how my holiday it is. I contacted hotel for picked me up in airport, smoothly my driver bring me to hotel within 1 hour and half. When I arrived was afternoon tea time, so I straightly enjoyed much some of savory and sweet with coffee and tea in their coffee shop. Very hot situated in outside now, the weather really bad. But, since I going to the room, it was totally different. Very cool ! They turn on the air condioned in advance. Lay down on the pool deck with ordering cocktails was best part of hot situation! Don't forget to take their free activities like going to morning walk rice terraces, I never tried before and it was memorable moment. Recommended highly for your journey Bali's holiday.

Exceptional service , attention staff and thousand of smile accompany my single Travelling experience. Since I never come to Bali, I asked recommendations resort for spend my relaxing day. Upon arrival, warm greeting from reception and lovely driver escort to me to the room. Such a efficient check in and details explanation about my benefit, Im not worried about language barrier who I ever got in my previous property. First impression in my room was memorable one, cuties animal art towel waived hands as welcoming on the bed. My day counting so fast, appetite breakfast being starter to my energizing day. Plenty of choice and various of taste. Are you looking for something which is not available on buffet? Oh my God, with pleasure Chef make it happens! If you had special cater, no worries ! You can find them doing the best for you. This resort can't enough recommends to everybody! Special mention to Gede in lobby and chef restaurant, sorry I forgot the name. A splendidly designed and impeccably executed resort. Brand new, SPOTLESS, excellent service, value and professionalism in every respect. The overall resort's layout and ambience feels very airy and open, from the reception all the way to the edge of the pool area overlooking the deep forest. Beautifully decorated grounds with various tropical plants and palm trees and ubiquitous lush greenery. You really feel the closeness of the nature. Birds are abundant, and if you're lucky, once an hour you get to catch a glimpse of a butterfly, no kidding. (I was like: "Wait a second... What is this place? Where am I? Is this for real?") The pool area is marvelous and so indulging! Quite expansive and perfectly functional as it consists of an "upper deck" with the main pool long enough for laps, and a "lower deck" with an oasis-like leisure pool with amazing towering coconut palms. Plenty of loungers and parasols around. Waiters are also very attentive and will serve you a drink right in the comfort of your lounger. I am a pool-freak and a swimmer, and I usually spend half of my vacation-time chilling by the pool. I can testify the pool meets the highest criteria, the water purity/clarity is top-notch, crystal-clear and feels properly "soft" without any trace of chemicals. Temperature-wise it is SPOT ON, cool and refreshing for a swim in the heat of the day, but never too cool for a relaxing late-evening dip. The rooms are exactly as shown on photos, simple but very tasteful and cozy with modern, yet traditional wooden furniture and "luxurious" dark hardwood flooring. A large balcony seating area is a big plus. I noticed some reviewers have mentioned slightly harder bedding, I didn't have any problem in that regard, had a "velvety" slumber every night. Bathrooms are of the highest standard and ultra-modern in decor. Sleek and stylish in dark tones, with a full-size bathtub and separate walk-in rain shower. Again everything "screams" spotless. Breakfast spread is more than adequate. It's actually more like a brunch. Freshly squeezed watermelon juice was great! An always-ready and ever-smiling chef at the egg-station will gladly prepare you any fresh egg-meal you may desire. (And oh boy did I enjoy those banana/maple pancakes each morning...! ) Location couldn't be better. I personally prefer this tranquil, more residential northern area of Ubud, rather than the southern direction towards the Monkey Forest which feels a little too touristy to my taste. Very serene and peaceful, basically an authentic rural-like setting, but still an easy 10-15min walk down the road to the center, and 45 minutes up the road to the "surreal" PYRAMIDS OF CHI. Some quality warungs/cafes are within walking distance. (Tips: Trendy MENARI CAFE surrounded by rice fields is right next door. Pleasant WARUNG MAGENDRA is 5mins down the road. Supercool MUSE CAFE & ART is 10mins up the road. This is actually SOME al-fresco restaurant, exceptional concept! A stunning view of the bridge as if hung on the background of the jungle setting. And just a stone's throw from MUSE is B-SIDE & 8B which is perfect if you crave a cocktail in an urban-like rooftop lounge in the midst of nature.) A free shuttle is available. But interestingly I never used it throughout my two-week stay as I always preferred to enjoy the stroll downtown. It is totally hassle-free and a unique chance to see some local life and people. And lastly and perhaps most importantly, as it was said in many reviews before, the real "Cherry on top" is the staff of the hotel. Everyone - literally everyone, including the youngest trainees, greets you with a genuine smile, pampers you with kindness and is there to assist you with anything you may need. This is top-class courtesy which should not go unnoticed. Really a tangible warmness and sincere hospitality which makes your stay all the more memorable and elevates it to that "Next Level". It's interesting how easily and instantly you get used to it, but then quickly realize how extraordinary it was after you leave the place. (My usual brief morning chat with either of the two head-waiters always cheered me up and set me up nicely for the day ahead. Thank you guys!! Would love to be back someday! :] ) All in all, it's hard to imagine you could go wrong with this Best Western when staying in Ubud. It's an all-round winner. A HIGH-END 4* RESORT EXPERIENCE. 9/10, heavy 9/10. In a word: SUPERB.

This resort was a total suprise I thought being a Best Western it wouldnt be anything special But! all I can say is WOW, I will be booking it again on my next trip to UBud. I would say its about 600 mts from the main road of UBud up a slight hill with restaurants and coffee outlets most of the way. I used the title as clean as a whistle for a reason I could not find one thing wrong with this resort it was immaculate My partner is the house keeping manager of a five star Accor resort and she was also very impressed . The staff were fantastic nothing was any trouble We have stayed in Bali 6 times and this it one of the best places we have stayed.

this hotel has an outstanding service!! they really catered to my needs, their staff was kind and polite. the room was very bright and located near the pool and restaurant. the food tasted extremely delicious and has a wide variety. their wifi is very fast and can use it everywhere in the hotel whether you are outside or not. their pool is very large as well, can be for the kids. the morning sun is very nice when you want go lounge and get your daily vitamin D. the atmosphere is calm, serene, you are able to hear crickets at night is which rare these days, its surrounded by forests. they also give free shuttle rides to Ubud Center, where there are lots of shop and cafès to eat if you want to venture out. this hotel is near Monkey Forest and the famous tegalalang rice terraces.

I left my swimsuit in the bathroom hotel, Gede from the front desk went above and beyond by sending my swimsuit back right after I asked. The hotel has very good customer service, everyone is also very friendly too!

Have stayed 3 times now and con't wait to stay again. Staff so caring. Great gym. great variety of food and drinks. Breakfast to suit all tastes and cultures. Best massages in Ubud. Highly recommend you give this place a go.

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently and we really loved it. The highlight was definitely the staff, and in particular Suarmita was fantastic. We decided to rent a motorbike and Suarmita helped us arrange it. It seemed like most places had no motorbikes left but he went above and beyond what would normally be expected and didn't quit until he'd secured us a great bike. Really outstanding and we're looking forward to returning.

The staff and food was incredible. The resort and amentiies were great. Would definitely recommend staying here while in Bali and take day trips to other places in Bali. The reosrt provided free shuttle service to the Ubud center.

I was verbally and physically laid into by one of the hotel's regular drivers, on the forecourt of this hotel. No hotel staff came to help. However, the details of it keep being returned to me...so I've had to reduce and reword. Be careful.

My wife and I stayed at the Agung Resort Ubud for 4 nights from Feb 21, 2019. The hotel property is well landscaped, the buildings are clean and airy. Our garden view room was quite large with a small balcony facing a wooded area behind the hotel. If booking, better to get a pool view room especially if you would like to use the balcony at night. The good stuff: Clean room, bright and airy sitting area in reception, great pool and deck for lounging, afternoon tea with a small selection of nibbles, large bottles of water in the room and most importantly, warm, welcomimg staff. We had the good fortune to meet Janu, Nova, Yuptini, Ayu Ari and Dwi Savitrii, all of whom treated us like family. We were able to chat with Savitri and share a little of each others' lives. Thank you. Although I named only a few of the wonderful staff, they were all gracious and kind. The not so good stuff: The water pressure and shower head could be improved. Nevertheless, the temperature was always right. The breakfast was a bit tired, wirh the usual western and some Bali selections. The food in the warming dishes was never hot or even warm. Good selection of fruits, though, which is a bonus. Meals and laundry service could be a bit pricy, but then again, the hotel has a lot of overhead costs. A 15 minute walk takes you into Ubud centre where one can find a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Along the road from the hotel are little shops, laundries and restaurants. Cheaper to use these than Ubud Centre or the hotel. Next door to the right is a small inexpensive cafe. But you get what you pay for. Across the street is a spa and massage place with very reasonable prices and wonderful staff. Oh, be mindful that the hotel is about 1 1/2 hours from the airport. Narrow roads and heavy traffic. All things considered, we would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was fantastic and so was the food we had at the restaurant. But the best thing about the BWP has to be the staff. Everybody is so nice and very helpful. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubid central. But you don't need ant vhicle to visit ubud city center because hotel is in the central. And so close many temple and important place like Goa Gajah elephant cave. Hotel have many experiece for people. First of all early morning rice paddy tracking is REALLY magical! Balinese are many different cultural thing. Hotel offers some of them like Balinese dancing amd Balinese offering. I really eant to go back that beautiful place One day! I already miss that warmest people.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The resort is in Ubud and away from the busy and noisy street in Seminyak. We were given welcome drinks and it was really refreshing! Checked-in and out was fast. The place was really nice and big. 2 pools for adult and children. They have a gym too. Breakfast was great. We loved out stay here and definitely recommending to my friends and family.

Spent 3 nights here while in Ubud, and we enjoyed it very much. Was easy to walk to the main street, the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast offers some unusual choices, but you definitely won't go hungry, and as an extra treat afternoon tea is served daily from 3-5pm.

The Location is very near to central Ubud, there is a shuttle bus to take you and pick you up, drop off point just near the market. Rooms are very clean and there is a fantastic pool. The staff cannot be faulted they are amazing, very helpful, eager to chat to learn more of our cultures and also happy to share their own. Would recommend hotel to anyone.

Couple of times we visited Ubud and choosing this hotel is really good decision. Staff are very helpful and accommodating our needs. Super clean room and also spacious. We love the pool so much especially our youngest one. Not so much options during breakfast but they taste very good :) They also provided bicycle for rent with a very reasonable price. Location wise only less than 1 km to downtown Ubud but we like it very much as its very less crowded and less noisy.

Staff is amazing, place is amazing even it's a hotel you really feel Bali energy. Room was nice and clean, the pool was also good with amazing view. Breakfast is included and we appreciate it, we had a lot of Choice.

Hotel is very clean and nice view. Good breakfast and not so expensive. The location is not far from ubud market and very quiet area. Bicycles are also provided by the hotel if you like to bike around ubud.

Me and big family stayed in Bali for about 7 nights, and in almost end of our vacation, we decided to stay in Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud for 2 nights. Here are some reviews from us : Plus : - Hotel gave us free upgrade rooms which facing to the pool (thank you so much for upgrading our rooms, we totally enjoy our vacation) - Rooms are clean and well maintained - Complementary free baby cots in each rooms - Free shuttle service to Ubud market - All the staffs are very kind, friendly and helpful - Delicious breakfast - Quite place to stay and love the weather in Ubud Minus : Nothing We are young couples, elderly and kids really loved to stay in Best Western Ubud. We didn't choose this hotel as such as it was part of the tour we were on ( 5 locations in Indonesia) but this was probably the best of all we stayed at. The rooms were great our balcony overlooked lush forest. The shuttle bus in and out of the centre was also really useful

Me and my husband don´t like to spend much time in the hotels since we like to live the city we are in, and let me tell you cost benefit this is the best hotel their service is spectacular, they have shuttle free of charge that takes you to the market, the food in the hotel is really delicious I can´t stress this enough but you need to stay there and take a massage

That was my very 1st time being in this resort, but..... the whole things about this resort are perfectly awesome. The room was nice, food and service are also equals. Thank you for your good companion. I am sure be back again there very soon.

Amazing staff and an amazing little gem. Special regards to Yustini and Sudarma, who are absolutely gems of hospitality staff. I interacted with them on many occasions and they were extremely attentive to the slightest details. Would definitely return to visit soon.

Five stars for this place for being a great value four star hotel. The exec suite we had was spacious and excellent for a family, with two bathrooms, two sofabeds, two TVs and two terraces overlooking dense and lush greenery. The hotel is quite new and relatively high standard especially for a four star. Some of the finishes are not perfect or well thought out (like having one tiny four inch shelf for shampoos and soaps in an enormous shower), AC and lights almost impossible to figure out, and the housekeeping was not so great. Had to make several calls for insufficient towels and sheets for the number of guests. We loved the location and setting on terraced hill but definitely not a good choice if you have any mobility issues. Two lovely pools and nice open air dining room. Breakfast buffet offered sufficient choices and good quality, especially some nice curries. Evening restaurant food was reasonably priced for a hotel and pretty good. Drinks overpriced (even during happy hour) but I think that is somewhat common in Bali. Overall this place worked well for us and if you get a good rate and a good room I think it is an excellent choice for top value hotel.

There is so much to write about this property, the location is perfect, you don't need transport it's 850m to the main jl Raya the walk down and back is terrific, the road is very walkable (no need to worry) the room was perfect but be careful, there are many room types here, we had a pool view, but there was two floors below us and the bottom is like a dungeon facing a wall, garden view would be a good option as well. The restaurant staff, woah special mention to Sumerty and Savitri , their smiles and hospitality is so special, we had an awesome time meeting these two very special people , great to see Best Western to employ such beautiful people who love their job , breakfast is a buffet and whislt some of the food is not as hot as we are use to the variety was so much, I do recommend this hotel, we had a scoopon deal for 5 nights and it's rediculous what we got for our money . massage was included and was amazing ! This place represents great location , value, serene, quietness but with all the shebang just down the road , I'd say “ the bright side of the road “

I recently stayed here for a week with a group of 24 people. The staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us whenever possible. I would identify staff by name but we since we didn't encounter a single staff member who wasn't excellent, they all deserve equal praise. The facilities are excellent and the hotel serves as an oasis from the town of Ubud. It is about a 10-minute walk into town but if you are feeling lazy, the two pools, workout room, and excellent restaurant mean that you could stay on the premises and enjoy the day in luxury. Great touch to include two 1.5 liter bottles of water for free in each room, a small feature that didn't go unnoticed. I can't wait to return next year and I would highly recommend this resort for large groups or even couples and solo travelers.

We booked a 3 night Scoopon deal and were amazed at the quality of the resort. The jungle views were spectacular, the pool was sparkling, lovely tropical landscaping, comfy bed and excellent staff made this a fantastic stay. Each day we caught the free shuttle to town and within 5 mins were in the centre of town - a 10 min walk to monkey forest which was lots of fun and loads of great cheap eateries often with live music. The food we are mostly (by choice) at the resort was Indonesian and delicious! The rice paddy walk was a real highlight- no need to book expensive tours - the hotel offers a great 2 hour local walk free of charge!

We stayed here for 2 night on november in deluxe pool the room are extremely clean, beutifull view, and comfortable. The facilities a great, staff is very friendly. Soo recomended. The location its close to town that is an easy walk into the main street of ubud.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of November. The rooms are well appointed, extremely clean and comfortable. I found the bed to be too firm and would recommend a bed topper if possible. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved our towel animals every day. The meals were tasty and good value. A bit of a walk to the Main Street but there is a regular shuttle available. Pools were a lovely temperature, the only minor issue with the kids pool were missing tiles on the floor- could cause a cut? I would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

We hoped that the hotel was as good as the reviews but it was not! There is one restaurant with very limited choices of food and drink. There's no comfortable seating if you wish to read, play cards or just relax with a drink. The only place is the restaurant! No complaints about the people who work there but we complained that our bed was rock hard and the pillows were so thick and rubbery it was impossible to sleep. The receptionist said they could change they pillows but never did! I found this hotel boring and soulless. Good thing....10 minutes walk to town or a free shuttle car from the hotel.

My wife and I recently stayed for a second time at the Best Western Premier Agung after a previous stay in July 2017. On both occasions we were really impressed with this hotel. Firstly we really appreciate the layout and architecture - a really clever blend of modern facilities and a traditional Balinese feel. Our room ( deluxe executive ) was spacious, well maintained and very well appointed. Lovely balcony overlooking a rice padi. The pool area on 2 levels with waterwalls is very impressive as is the central open layout restaurant. Breakfast served at the restaurant is extensive and of a high quality. Nothing was too much trouble. I happened to ask the chef why beef bacon was included in the buffet rather than pork bacon. The next morning I arrived to a plate of pork bacon that had been specially prepared for me. An evening meal that we had at the restaurant was also very impressive in both quantity and quality. We really loved the location of the Best Western Agung. It is close enough to town that it is an easy walk into the main street of Ubud but far enough away that you feel like you are in the countryside. For those unable or not inclined to walk the shuttle service was excellent. It operated regularly and reliably with a very friendly service provided. But the best aspect of our stay by far was the professional and friendly service provided by all the staff that we came across. It was clear that the staff at this hotel enjoyed their jobs and working together. It makes such a difference to your holiday when you are constantly greeted by smiles and offers of assistance. The staff consistently asked for feedback about the quality of the service being provided. This emphasis on improvement augurs well for the future. We would certainly recommend the Best Western Premier Agung as a high quality resort for those looking for a relaxed holiday in a warm and welcoming environment.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here as part of a multi-centre holiday to Bali - the staff made it so so welcoming! Incredibly friendly and well-mannered people throughout, the views from the room were amazing and the breakfast menu was delicious! Will definitely be making an effort to come back!

We stayed for 5 nights and couldn't believe how wonderful this resort is! Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, delicious food, clean well maintained rooms and a beautiful pool, all at a very affordable price! Would love to stay again!

My husband, our 3 year old son and I stayed here for 4 nights and it felt just like home since the first moment. The resort is very beautifully decorated, spacious room with amazing pool view, nice bathroom with big bathtub and the shower is just perfect, a lot of water pressure and very warm just like I love :) The breakfast is so good, a lot of options of hot meals, fresh fruits, drinks, cereals, bread and much more. I also loved their afternoon tea, everyday is something different, we had mini ham/cheese with tomato sandwich, fruits, traditional fried banana cake, little chocolates etc It's perfect for a snack in he middle of the day. The resort is a little bit out of town but you can take a walk or just get their free shuttle service which is excellent, it leaves every hour. The pools are a plus, my son really LOVED the little kids pool, he used to be there for hours and hours everyday playing with his toys while floating with a little duck floaty the resort provides to kids. He also made many little friends, the resort is very kidfriendly and we saw a few your families with ittle kids staying there too, very fun. We also got to take great photos while staying there, it's a very photogenic place, many beautiful little spots here and there. We would recommend this place to anyone. Don't hesitate to go there, you won't regret.

The temperature is cooler up in this region and the resort is nestled adjacent and overlooking the dark green jungle... big leaves, bamboo, vines and all. If you happen to have a cocktail and quietly watch the jungle, you will spy the various wildlife feeding on fruits in the trees during the evening. Duck is the speciality at the restaurant but in addition, the buffet breakfast is the best. Not necessarily all western food which is why this is my favourite. Most apartments it seems have a balcony over the pool or step out to your personal pond and water feature. Recommend going for walks from the resort and have a look around. Overall, good staff, clean, well maintained and always the key to my outings is that the value is very good.

This hotel was so nice to stay in. We enjoyed the location. The staff was very helpful. The hotel had complimentary transfers to and from Ubud which was very convenient. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The included breakfast is in their open-air bar/restaurant with plenty of tables. The buffet breakfast had many choices from salads and soups to traditional breakfast dishes. Good choice for an Ubud hotel!

Stayed here for 3 nights to explore Ubud. Good location away from main town but still within walking distance. Shuttle to town is also very good and on time. Service is great, staff are very helpful and accomodating. Restaurant is not amazing , but the food is good and priced right! So no real complaints. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The only thing is lost property procedure seems to be lacking, but it is our own fault if we left something by the pool. Would stay here again if in Ubud.

Everything of this hotel is amazing - from the minor details in the decor / architecture of the hotel, to the attentive, polite and friendly staff. The room amenities is a full package, the WIFI speed is great and the food is great. Location of the hotel is also close enough to the Ubud Market, but still allows you to feel like you're living with nature.

We were a family of 6 and stayed for 4 nights. Very friendly and helpful staff who assisted us with local travel, and asked if there was anything they could do for us: a nice personal touch. The pool was refreshing and a small gym was appreciated. The hotel layout and design were pleasant, and the rooms spacious. We'd certainly stay again.

Nice hotel. Check in was slow but it was 1am in the morning. Service in the hotel was always good. Room was nice, a good view over a 'farm' and had everything. Enjoyable swimming pool area. Breakfast was good. Dinner which we had once, was very quiet. The hotel was a couple of Km from Ubud town centre but there was good shuttle-bus service, even if the drop-off point was chaotic. Recommend it.

Prior to arriving we were concerned about the Hotel's location and its distance to the main centre of Ubud. Our concerns were unfounded as the centre is well within walking distance and we enjoyed taking that walk each day. A shuttle service is available if you don't want to walk. All the staff were excellent and the rooms were big and well appointed. For the price we paid we were well satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to return again. The breakfast was average at best and lets the Hotel down. Our only other issue was the design of the shower. In our room the doorstop in the shower was almost directly under the shower head and every time we used the shower we hit it with our toes. Ouch!!!!

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days form 09/25 to 10/02. The staffs were very friendly, attentive, and courtesy thru out our whole stay at the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, with a nice balcony overlook the pool. Each day we were provided with 2 bottles of 1.5 liters of water. They provided pool towels separated from the bath towels. To welcome us, there was a plate of fresh cut fruits. The buffet breakfast was excellent with different varieties from Western, to Asian to original Bali style. The staffs at the restaurant were very attentive to our needs and their services were excellent. Thanks to Yuniari (Yuni) and Janvarta for their top notch services. Yuni even remembered to ask the chef to reduce the salt in our meals everyday without failed. She was very pleasant to talk with, always with a big smile on her face. Janvarta knew our routine, he asked us for what type of eggs we would like for each breakfast. Our biggest compliment to both of them, they made our stayed extremely welcome and wanted to come back again in the future. The manager,SRI, she was also very nice. She stopped by our table on our first dinner at hotel, to say hello, and asked us if we need anything to make our stay comfortable, from the bedding to the pillows, etc. Our last night she stopped by again, to make sure that we got everything we needed. Only one small glitch with the reservation. My sister booked her room for 7 days, after the 5th day, they moved her to another room without advance notice, with a reason that someone needs an early check in next day. We were out all day, did not get back until late at night and they had to rush to pack and to move to another room. We brought that issue up with Sri, and she apologized and promised with talked to the front desk about that. Another issue in our room, the maid placed the wine glasses near the sliding door curtain, so when my wife pulled the curtain, it knocked the glass over and shattered. She informed the front desk and we were charge for 100,000 RPT at check out (about USA 5.00).

Fabulous staff and nice hotel. Situated about 15 minute walk from the main centre of Ubud, with a regular free shuttle bus operating from the hotel to the centre from 8am til 10pm. The room was great, we had a double deluxe, but the balcony was small and overlooked the car park for neighbouring property. We found it quite noisy though, from the loud air conditioning unit to cars and bikes in the car park, and builders working nearby. The food selection at breakfast was good and varied but not very warm. We only ate an evening meal at the hotel on 1 night and found the same scenario, good variety but not very hot. The pool and grounds are great, and there was free use of the on site gym. The room was made up daily and was spotless. The best thing about the hotel was the staff, they're fabulous, and can't do enough for you. (Special mention for Wayan Andika and Erix, thanks guys!)

Booked this on a three nights Scoopon deal.good value for money. This hotel is well suited on a hill and has tranquil atmosphere .About 15 minutes walk to the town and markets. They also offer shuttle service but you must book in advance.We had a room overlooking the pool which was great. Two good size pools.with a bar What a great place to stay very relaxing and peaceful. The rooms are nice and big and very comfortable. Big bath room with a bath and modern. Breakfast was good with a fair variety to choose from. Dinner was also good. Staff was helpful and friendly .Would stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had the pool view room and it was lovely. The hotel is close to town and a shuttle is provided which runs every hour for pick up and drop off. If you intend to walk, bring two flashlights with you as it's not really visible at night and it's a little steep. Room: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Location: 10/10 Food: 10/10, Breakfast was awesome with a good selection and yummy Internet: 10/10 fast and reliable Would we stay here again? Maybe, because now I feel it's better to stay in town just because it was a little too hot to be standing outside of ubud palace in the heat waiting for a shuttle. Either I would stay in town or somewhere with a ricefield view just so I can experience ubud differently next time. But, we loved our stay here and the staff was really very kind and helpful. They even decorated our room for our anniversary and it was a breathtaking decoration. Bathtub with a flower bath and bed decorated with flowers :) Tip: shuttle drops you at ubud palace and from there you can take the monkey forest shuttle to the monkey forest. Overall, it was an awesome experience. Great value for the price.

As soon as we walked through the entrance we left our stressful lives behind. Check in was a breeze and we chatted with our clerk as he escorted us to our room. Such friendly and welcoming staff! Nothing was too much trouble yet all the staff appeared relaxed and enjoying being there as much as we were! The gym and pools were well equipped, clean and well maintained and the gardens were just beautiful against a jungle backdrop. The central restaurant offered buffet breakfasts and a la Carte lunch and dinners with a poolside bar for cocktails and snacks. The resort even offers a complimentary afternoon tea which was the perfect pick me up after wandering into town during the day. The resort is the perfect base for a holiday in Ubud- it has enough to keep you busy but is close enough to town that you can explore without any hassles- they even offer a shuttle bus into town. Highly recommended and we can't wait to go back :)

I returned home today after spending 7 amazing nights at this hotel. It met all of my expectations with great service, facilities and location. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town and the regular shuttle service was a great help to get home in the evening. The central location of the hotel meant that I could take a walk every day to explore the local area. The hotel runs a walk to the rice fields and this was a highlight of the week, as was the walk to Camphuan Ridge. The hotel facilities are excellent and everything is well maintained. The pool area is perfect and it's always possible to secure a lounge as many hotel guests are out touring during the day. The gym has everything you need and I enjoyed working out in the morning (it opens at 6 am). There is a spa on site and they offer a great massage in a beautiful open space overlooking a lush, green view. The restaurant offers a good variety of food and the staff are welcoming, accommodating and very friendly. However, the hotel's best attribute is its staff who go over and above to ensure that guests are well looked after. No request was too much and they take great pride in offering quality, personalised service. I am grateful to everyone for making sure that I had a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

This hotel is about 20 minutes walking distance from Monkey Forest, also has a shuttle air conditioned van making few back and forth trips a day to the center of Ubud, as hotel courtesy:) which is great!

very pleased we chose this hotel when visiting Ubud. It is far enough out of Ubud to escape the chaos and insanity of the main centre. 10 minute walk into town or regular free shuttle from the hotel drop off and pick-up. Food at the restaurant was great and good value. Staff bend over backwards to help you. I really enjoyed having a chat to Eriks , the 100 percent manager. Scoopon voucher was really good value. Hotel overall was good value for the price. Also hired a push bike for $6 US per day. turn right from hotel and enjoy a ride through the rice paddys , I wouldn't advise riding a push bike through the main centre. Would definitely stay at this hotel if I returned to Ubud.

Fabulous situation 10 minutes from bustling Ubud-a shuttle service goes to the town every hour. It's nice to get back to the calm tranquility of the hotel, which is surrounded by lush jungle vegetation and a temple. It has every comfort, pools, restaurant and good friendly service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend the Balinese food in the restaurant, and there's a full choice of food for breakfast. My bedroom had a jungle view and I loved to sit out on the balcony and take it all in

I was initially a little concerned about the location of this hotel. Being a little way out of Ubud centre I thought maybe it wasn't so convenient. I needn't have worried. The shuttle is an excellent service and leaves very often. The peaceful surroundings are idyllic. The pool is lovely. As for the rooms, well, they are simply perfect. We are in room 1111 which is ground floor. Has all the amenities and is very new. The food here is very very good. Huge breakfasts with tons of choice. Prices are very reasonable too. All in all, a great hotel that I can thoroughly recommend.

Such a beautiful resort! I could not believe my eyes, the pool was amazing, and so was our room! Would highly recommend. The staff were super friendly, food was amazing, and we even got to hang out with everyone at their weekly rice fields tour!

Ubud is such a beautiful place, slowly burgeoning into a frenetic tourist trap, but still evolving slowly enough that an element of the authentic experience still exists. Initially I had some reservations about the distance of the hotel to the town centre but in the end this proved to be a bonus allowing us to walk past and enjoy meals in some local warungs. Really only a 5-10 minutes walk to the Ubud market and the numerous eateries and boutique shops. The set up of the hotel was a little strange with no access from the rooms to the pool. We didn't use the pool very often really due to the temperate climate. Ubud is not as hot as the built up Kuta or Legian areas. The staff were incredibly helpful always asking about our experience and about what they could do to improve our stay. Breakfast was nice, reasonable variety of western and Balinese food available at the breakfast buffet. I'd recommend at least a few nights here if you are visiting Ubud.

Becoming both unwell very early in our stay with this hotel, we were both truly overwhelmed with the way staff took care of us (1) driving us to exchange money before taking to Dr than waiting to return us to hotel. Been holed up in our room staff was always ringing to hear our wellbeing or just delivering a fruit platter as a kind gesture & that we were very thankful for. On the upside this hotel was truly amazing the room was exceptionally clean & modern had a view of not only the pool but the peaceful jungle . We could not fault one thing regarding this hotel. Will definitely be going back .

Purchased a scoopon for this hotel and it was amazing value. The room we had was spacious, modern but still authentic. The bathroom was large and included a rainfall shower and full size bath. Breakfast and either lunch or dinner was included per day. Also, a 60 minute balinese massage each and a cocktail or beer each per day. The hotel offers a shuttle service into Ubud centre which we used as it is about a 15-20 minute walk otherwise. They also will pick up as well. The staff were very polite and helpful. I would recommend this new hotel if staying in Ubud if you want to be away from the busy part of town. Another inclusion in the deal was a one way airport transfer which was great as we didn't have to arrange ourselves. Lastly, they offer a complimentary afteroon tea to all guests. Really enjoyed our stay and thought the scoopon deal was excellent value.

My room overlooking the pool was clean and spotless. Airconditioning worked very well. Balcony overlooked one of 2 pools. I didn't use the well equipped gym but others did. The bed was very comfy. Free afternoon tea was available at 3pm. Staff are amazing and always going out their way to assist. The restaurant served good food and cocktails. It is walking distance to centre of Ubud but they have a shuttle. Also bicycles can be hired. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Ubud.

Friendly and helpful staff, various breakfast, clean and beauty room and bathroom, close to Ubud centre (by walk). We tried eating in their restaurant twice but in my opinion is better to go somewhere else, to eat better and pay less.

After spending 5 nights at BW Premier Agung we were very pleased indeed with the overall experience. The resort had a comfortable feel about it, sufficiently away from the town centre but not remote. The shuttle bus was convenient but walking in and out of town wasn't a chore. We enjoyed the afternoon tea, those days we were in the resort, and particularly enjoyed the rice paddy walk the staff organised. The staff were so helpful and friendly, particularly Sumerti at the restaurant and Dea the front office manager.We enjoyed our restaurant experiences, which included breakfast ,lunch and dinner, top marks to Chef and staff. On our last night we experienced the Lombok earthquake and vacated our room for 5 minutes and on reflection wondered if the hotel would consider an evacuation plan.

We stayed for 3 nights here, we loved the room, they even gave us complimentary honeymoon cake and decorated the room. They have a huge and really awesome pool. Resort Breakfast has wide varieties but being vegetarian it is limited, but they everyday specially cook something for us. They also have Spa, on the terrace. They provide a shuttle service to UBUD city centre. they do have bicycle services. We loved BWP and would like to visit again.

Booked this for three nights on a Scoopon deal. What a great place to stay. They offer some extras, and do they deliver. Check in was easy, and the staff are fabulous. They are a bit out of main town, but have a lot of transfer times into and back from central Ubud. Right near the palace and markets. Times could improve a little. There is no drop off around 6pm and no pick up between 7.30 and 9.30pm. Not sure if its just me, but they would have been times that would have suited better for meals in town. However, you were supplied with breakfast, which had everything you wanted. Need instructions for the coffee machine tho. You also got lunch or dinner everyday. (3courses) Who needs that much food? We would often share, or just have one course. The pool was refreshing and clean. Lounge chairs always available. We got a cocktail or beer everyday, and these were cold, and enjoyed sitting by the pool. We had a massage each, which was relaxing, with a wonderful view over ricefields. Rooms: Wow. Our room was fantastic. They had decorated the bed with balloons and rosepetals that said Happy Birthday to Mr T. We didn't stay for dinner the first night, we went straight into town to find a restaurant that we had missed out on last time in Ubud. It was gone. Missed out again. However, they next morning, Mr T had organised his breakfast and had nearly finished when the manager came over with a huge plate of food which had a happy birthday to Mr T on it. I thought he was going to die trying to eat all that food after he had already eaten. Pity it didn't come a bit earlier....hahahaha. Beautiful, kind thought. The Manager spent some time with us explain what the food was, and how it was used and shared to celebrate. Nice touch. Staff. Staff here were really friendly. The only problems we had were we didn't get pool towels, and we had to keep going to our room to confirm that we hadn't before we could swim. Another day, our room wasn't cleaned, and by 4pm I rang and asked for some clean towels. I was told they were busy and would get to us eventually! Thought that was odd. Didn't matter. Just needed clean towels. Our transfer on the last day was booked, and went without hiccups. We would definitely stay here again. Staff were fantastic. Rooms amazing. Quiet, Clean. Perfect. Thank you.

I travelled with my family including my older in laws and spend about 3 days at the hotel and we really liked the place. The property is new so it was clean and relatively well maintained. Nestled between rice fields the place is lush and tranquil. The staff was courteous and they helped arrange for a cab for a days visit to nearby areas of Ubud which was wonderful. We took 2 cabs from the hotel one for the day trip and one for Nusa Dua and both the cabs were neat and the drivers courteous. We had breakfast and dinner both at the hotel for all the 3 days and were satisfied with the food and the quality both. Just 2 points of concern that we had were where that one of the rooms we stayed in had a faulty drainage which led to the water and soap staying in the bathroom for a relatively long time and one of the days that we were at the property some pesticide fumigation happened in the property behind the hotel which led to the air being rather foul smelling and foggy at the hotel on that particular evening( I know the hotel has lesser control of what happens to the property other than theirs but giving a feedback would certainly make them aware of the situation).

A girlfriend of mine and I stayed here for five nights using a scoopon voucher each. Every promise from the scoopon voucher was met. A lovely hotel, friendly staff, tranquil atmosphere and comfortable and modern rooms. The hotel is a small and charming walk into Ubud Centre (about 15 minutes), or a short drive. The hotel offers a shuttle hourly to and from Ubud Centre. The value of the deal we used was almost too good to be true! Thank you for our wonderful stay.

A really nice hotel with friendly Staff and a good placement in the outskirts of the city center. Just 10 minutes walk and you find yourself in the busy streets of Ubud. Right between the two main shopping streets. We enjoyed our stay (2 adults), the pool and friendly staff. The rooms was very clean and the overall feel of the hotel standard was good. The breakfast could use a brush up according to the local community's focus on healthy and vegetarian options. But it will get you full. So a good stay with great value for money :).

This resort is beautifully set-out with two wonderful sized pools that cascade one in to the next, the staff are just gorgeous and the food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner is great, the rooms are all quite large with balconies that look over the pools and are kept immaculate, bed was comfy and large, they have a resort car that can take you into Ubud cud however it really is only a short 10 - 20min walk at a leisurely pace. Would stay again and am doing so in 2019 already booked, highly recommended

Clean, quiet and comfortable; these three words can describe the hotel properly. The rooms were big and bed was comfortable. No complain about sleep quality. The rental car at Bali is very cheap so we did not bother about any sort of shuttle services the hotel authority provides. The restaurant and pool area was quiet and nice. The staffs were also very friendly and prompt. Highly recommended!

Spent weekend here. Quite place to have a quality rest for weekend. Breakfast is wonderful. - During I c/i and c/o little bit slow as only 1 staff standby, while 2nd one is coming in minutes to handle my c/i and c/o. - Cant review on pool service, due to under service until 9 A.M. - A minor thing, while check in I brought lots work things during this visit, the bell boy is helpful. What minor is i felt sorry there is no lift service to bring my things. Cant imagine other guests from abroad whom bring many suitcases. What an effort. Love it so far, as Ubud style is really in this hotel. Would love to return.

We bought the 7 night scoopon deal as we felt it offered a suitable place & extras for a senior couple to stay. Starting with being met @ the airport. The beautiful petal display on the bed for our anniversary, not too many steps, as I was concerned for my 85 yo husband that there was not a lift, a boutique size hotel, breakfast plus dinner as we didn't wish to be out at night a shuttle service, & massage. All the glowing comments from other guest are true. The location was ideal a pleasant walk to the Main St. but just 1km out saw real Bali life. Jl Sri Wedari is a pleasant street to walk with nice places to eat. Check out Fair Future Foundation on google. This was our 8th visit to Ubud our first at Best Western Agung & we very much hope to return next year.

We stayed 2 nights. The facilities are very good and the rooms are fantastic. The pool area and areas around the hotel are beautiful. Breakfast was good with a great choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk into the centre which I liked, it cAn be dark at night walking back But we always felt safe. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Best Western in Ubud is very reasonably priced, and with a great gym, hassle-free internet and a nice pool you kind of get all you need. The staff at the daytime shift was usually on point and helpful... but as soon as the evening/night shift started the quality went downhill. Unfortunately we experienced a lot of minor issues, that all in all makes it a hotel we'll probably not revisit. Couple of examples: We waited for a promised pick-up service in Ubud for 20 minutes before eventually walking back to the hotel where the driver and the staff just shrugged and laughed it off. ¨ We never got an extra keycard even though we asked three times, and we asked for a bug spray that never showed up. Booking a taxi through the front staff takes ages and you'll be lucky if the car even shows. In addition the breakfast was quite poor. If you're barely at your hotel it's a great choice, but if you're planning on spending some time there I'd probably look somewhere else.

I recently stayed at this hotel, the hotel is nice and a fine place to stay but for the money I think you can find a better value. While the hotel was nice, it was not as close as I thought to the city center (about 20 mins walk). The hotel does have a shuttle but it does not run often or even at all. They have bikes but you must pay to rent them. Overall, I thought the place was nice, but if I were to go back to Ubud I would not stay there, rather I would stay somewhere closer to the city center or somewhere with a more regular shuttle service.

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely 3 day stay in the Best Western resort. Our room was very comfortable with a view overlooking the pool. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were great with half price cocktails on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. We used the shuttle bus each day to travel to central UBUD. Lovely resort and would definitely receommend.

Great location set in peaceful surrounds. Beautiful rooms from the decor to comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious with helpful and friendly staff. I have stayed here twice and will be back. Best value in Ubud.

My friend and I had a bit of a mishap with the place that we had booked in Ubud, so when we booked into the Agung Resort at the very last minute, we were very well looked after. It was very comforting to have such a warm welcome. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfast was an amazing buffet.The two infinity pools are incredible. The shuttle to and from downtown is a must, because it can be a bit too far to walk in the heat, but that also means the hotel is quieter at night than if it were in the city centre. The bed was comfortable but firm, and the bathroom and shower were spacious and luxurious. Overall this hotel provided an excellent experience!

This hotel was amazing. Great location . Very quiet. Staff were so lovely. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Daily shuttle into ubud about 7 min. Breakfast and all meals were very nice. And nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

Best Western Premier is a simply outstanding hotel. We booked a 5 day stay via scoopon and couldn't have been happier. The hotel is spotlessly clean, well appointed and in a fantastic location. The staff are so warm and welcoming. I loved that when we walked past reception or the restaurant they would say hello and remember our names. The food included in our stay was excellent and breakfast was also great with a wide variety that changed daily. A very special touch was the beautiful room set up with flowers adorning the bed and beautiful bath and the surprise happy birthday cake and song sung but not only the restaurant staff but the manager too. Well done on an outstanding hotel and service. And Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Great stay, rooms are spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Close enough to walk to centre of Ubud etc. Pool area is really nice with a great back deck with kiddy pool. Reception and restaurant are excellent and staff very friendly.

I think this hotel is suitable for those on honeymoon, or anything which is need some quiet environment. Light setting are dim, both outdoor or inside the room. Breakfast menu offer not many choices, but the taste is decent. Hotel's location is not at the centre of crowd in ubud, but easy too find. Room is small, but bath tub is available. For me who stay with small children, I think this hotel is not really suit us, because it is too quiet, dark, and has not many facilities to enjoy.

We purchased a 7 night Scoopon Deal for $699 for my husband and myself, I can honestly say The Best Western Premier was beautiful, spotlessly clean, deluxe pool view room 1217 with a nice balcony to sit out on an evening was perfectly situated for us. The deal included buffet breakfast every morning which was more than substantial, a 3 course lunch or dinner which again was very substantial or you could chose 1 main meal from the normal menu (in my opinion not a lot to choses from, so didn't bother) 1 beer or 1 cocktail everyday and 1 hour massage each, afternoon tea with little bites, you could chose a pick up or a drop off from or to the airport, we chose the pick up as I couldn't put up with the crowd of taxi drivers in my face at the airport and not knowing the going rate to Ubud I didn't want to get ripped off as is what can happen very often. The hotel provided a shuttle service to and from Ubud town which was good for us, the walk wasn't long but the walking wasn't that good with bad pavement, missing pavers over the side of the road drainage. The staff were there to greet us, check in was relatively easy and we were taken to our room and helped with the suitcases, over the 7 days we were taken care of by beautiful staff, they were always happy, courteous and really couldn't do enough for us, the hotel was at a very quiet time in the season so I'm not sure how it would be at high season but I would assume that if anything wasn't right one would only have to mention it and they would go out of the way to make it right for their guests. The pool area was so tranquil having 2 levels, the lower level catered for children with the walk in pool, there were very comfortable sun loungers with nice mattresses and fresh towels as often as you wanted via a card system (1 towel per card, hand the towel back receive your card back for the next day) a good system. 2 large bottles of water everyday were left in your room, good tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridge. All in all this was a great deal at $100 per day per couple. We would certainly go back to this hotel but not sure if we would be happy to pay the normal prices as we thought for Bali they were pretty expensive plus everything had ++ added i.e. 21%. The drop off back to the airport was Rph 500.000, we did get a quote from a driver off the street of Rph300.000 but we thought it more dependable and safer for insurance purposes to use the hotels choice of taxi and its driver. Just an addition regarding the pool side bar and the café, because of it being low season neither of these were open, there really wasn't enough guests for it to be feasible to pay staff to man them I do agree but I think if the pool bar had been open they would have done a good trade for snacks, drinks etc...

The place is nice n cosy ,rooms are huge n spacious n beautifully done specially washrooms r big ! Staff is cooperative n always ready to help .We stayed during my bday they made it special by making a cake n decorating my room too it was quite warm . Highly recommended .

Cute little property with awesome rooms with your own little Lilly and fish pond. Property is in middle of paddy fields surrounded by greenery and rice fields. Has a lovely little infinity pool and open air restaurant.

Have just spent the last 4 days at this quiet resort away from all the hustle and noise of Ubud yet close enough to walk to the city centre. The hotels quite new and is very comfortable, the pool is lovely but shade will be at a premium when the pace picks up. The drinks were cool but not cold and had to chase pool service. The room was fine but the bed a bit form for us but caused no issues. I would have liked to see a greater range in the menu, and a few more Balinese local dishes on the menu. The staff service was very good, and the English by most staff was excellent. I think that the ability to have a few quiet drinks with some nibbles away from the restaurant would be fantastic, the front area near reception would be ideal, a great way to relax before dinner. Breakfast was quite good with enough of a selection to please most. Overall we would recommend the hotel to others, just a bit more thought into the bars would be great. Noel and Glenda Cornwill.

Fabulous stay! Spacious king room with lovely balcony over the pool. Staff were very accommodating and obliging. Quiet location but close to Ubud town centre. Buffet breakfast and 3 course meal per day per person, cocktail each day per person plus two massages in day spa, airport transfer. Fantastic value and wonderful service. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed here for only three nights and were possibly a bit sad to leave as there is a lot to like about this place. Like virtually anywhere there are things that could be improved, but they are few. From our arrival at the airport we were greeted by the representative for our one way transfer which was a good one and a half hour drive. The entrance from the road is not as convenient as it could be as it is very exposed to the elements. The resort is not huge but provides plenty for a comfortable stay. The reception staff provided a genuine welcome and a very efficient check-in process. Interaction with reception staff on each day, and on check-out was extremely friendly and efficient. Our chosen room was a Deluxe Executive Room, this was larger and beautifully appointed and maintained. This room provided us with very much a comfort level well above average, with a large bed and a large and small pillow variety, this was very comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The room also featured a very impressive seperate bathroom with a fantastic shower and seperate bath that was well appointed and maintained, The wooden louvre shutters separating the bed a bath area as well as on the rear windows are practical, and visually appealing. Internet access was good. There is a convenient room safe, a large television and a small fridge. The property also has a very impressive pool set-up, a fitness centre, a massage and spa centre, and a central restaurant. The massage was good, provided in an impressive area overlooking rice terraces. The restaurant provided the buffet breakfast, which was diverse, and good. The couple of meals we had for lunch and dinner were also good, as was the service of the staff. This resort is situated about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Ubud, the hotel also provides a scheduled shuttle that has to be booked. There are other types of rooms available here, although we didn't look inside some of the smaller rooms most appeared to be in a good position, some were not where we'd like to be. The resort is quite new and well presented, however the stylish paving in parts is impressive when dry, not good following rain. Our experience here albeit brief, was what we expected and didn't disappoint. We'd happily stay here again!

We checked in for 5 nights of a 7 night holiday. Really disappointed that we chose to waste our time staying in a noisy hotel in Legian because the Best Western is amazing. We purchased a Scoopon deal which included lots of extras. The place is super clean, only a year old and the staff are awesome. All are friendly and helpful. The location is great nice and quiet, great pool and meals. Can't really fault it. So glad we booked to stay here. Highly recommended.

The room was good , however the sleeping pillows were too hard and too high. I used sofa's pillow for sleeping. The breakfast is good. And friendly staff. Facilities are good. Peaceful place of staying.

Good facility, nice place and comfortable. Get one big bottle water. From Room, we can enjoy the green panorama and fresh air. Also we can enjoy the swimming pool until 8 in the night. The best time, on the summer time, is not wet and easy to explore the hotel.

From our arrival to our departure we couldn't find fault with anything, very modern & well appointed room, high standard of cleanliness, wonderful pool complex, only 15min walk to town or 5min by hotel free shuttle service , great breakfast with a variety of Indonesian & English food, our 5 night stay was through a Scoopon deal which delivered everything that was promised, extremely helpful & friendly staff & we had great dealings with Yuni & Janu in the restaurant plus Maha in reception.

Slight hiccup at the airport with the contracted pick up. WOW but the staff at Best Western bounced back so helpful and friendly on arrival. Room massive size, great bathroom and bed. Lovely staff had towels shapped like animals and spelt out happy birthday in rose petals on the bed. Good pool, food at dinner and breakfaxt was very nice. Again staff have been tremendously friendly and sincere in helping us on our holiday.

We spent 4 nights in this peaceful and relaxing hotel. A beautiful view and amazing pool set up, an infinity pool at the top, cascading down into a waist height pool along with a shallow area for the kids to play. Lots of lounges to relax on. Food is great and we'll priced. I could stay here for ever!

We considered the hotel average. We were really disappointed not getting the room with pool view we paid for. We got a room on the ground floor and couldn't sleep properly because we could hear loudly the showers and toilet flushes from the upper floor so we changed room (still didn't get the room booked though). Plus, they accommodate groups which can be really noisy especially if your room like ours faces the restaurant. They also privatised the restaurant for them so we had to have dinner next to the lobby, with view on the street. These are details compared to the reason why we were really unhappy about this hotel: the day before check out we asked for a taxi to go to our next hotel and the lady at the reception announced 250k which we agreed on and suddenly on the next day, the driver told us 350k as apparently said by the receptionist and if we aren't happy, we can go argue with her. We didn't and just wanted to leave. The amount isn't much but it's the fact that we thought we could trust our hotel not to try and rip us off. Of course the driver drove as slowly as possible to justify the additional amount.

we stayed at this hotel from 5th-8th May. The service was wonderful, they couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the two pools. Breakfast was great, had everything you needed. Location was about a 10 min walk to the main bit of Ubud. Slightly up hill on the way back. But the hotel has a free shuttle which was great. Would stay again. perfect for what we needed.

While in ubud we were booked to stay at the best western premier and I must say it was the best . The staff especially the reception are very courteous and always ready to help . The rooms are comfortable and very clean , even the swimming pool is clean. They have a free shuttle service for drop and pick ups to ubud city center though one can easily walk it down too . The breakfast is great ?? Keep it up ..

We were meant to stay that Max One Hotel in Ubud with 14 women but we checked in there and were bitterly disappointed. We desperately tried to find a hotel that could accommodate all of us and luckily the Best Western had rooms. They were so incredibly fabulous with looking after us. We had a lot of needs given we were an organised group booking but nothing was ever to much for them. Every time I went to the front desk they accommodated our needs quickly and with a smile. It was a little out of Ubud Centre but they helped out with providing the hotel transfer van. The service and hotel staff outweighed being out of the centre though. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

We were very grateful to be able to experience this new resort. I received this package as birthday gift from my daughter. It was a Scoopon package for 5 days beginning from 4 th May. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We love our room with a balcony opposite the pool. We bought a 2 day deal from booking.com from the 2nd May to the 3rd May which include a new experience for us, a herbal bath. Too our delight we. We're looking forward to the bath after walking around Ubud. The spa staff gave us very strange outfits to wear into the bath, so I queried why we had to wear them. He then showed us the bath, we were buried in a dirt pit filled with herbs and buried firmly for 30 minutes at around 70 degrees. It actually was a wonderful experience, it is a Japanese treatment and we would do it again. This resort is a hidden gem

We planned a family trip to Bali and wanted to stay in Ubud for 3 days just to see what it was like before heading to the coast for the majority of our stay. I saw a deal on scooping for $300 Australian dollars and thought it was cheap and only for 3 nights if it was a disaster no big deal. How wrong were we. It was the bargain of our holiday. The resort is small and beautiful. Pools are imaculate in amazing grounds. The staff were a delight and just beautiful with our 2 year old, especially Dea the front office manager. The deal included breakfast which was fine and a lunch or dinner daily. Yes the menu was the same for the three days but plenty to choose from. There is not a thing we could complain about and we would definitely stay again. We couldn't recommend this place more highly and again an extra special thanks to Dea.

Everything feels right when you get to the hotel. Good ambience, good service, good food. Location is not exactly advantageous but if you are used to walking, it might suit you. If you plan to go out at night, bring along a flashlight as it could be very dark when you go back to the hotel. And if you are from the airport, hiring a taxi could take up 500k Rupiah per ride.

The place is very nice and clean, the staff is very friendly . You can enjoy the amazing view of the forest feom the pool . The breakfast is diversified and full of fresh fruits . Overall I advise you to came and see for yourself :)

The room that we stayed in had a really nice interior and the scent of the essential oil (I think?) was very good, I wish we asked the hotel staff what it was before we checked out! The room is cleaned pretty early in the day (we return to the hotel around 3/4PM Everyday to rest before dinner) and they always place really cute folded towels on the bed, we got rabbits and elephants and it's always nice to come back to those :) our package came with a herb bath from the spa which was good, but we wanted to redeem the bath on the day we checked in after 8pm but when we went there the staff told us that the spa was already closed although according to the book in the room the spa was open until 11pm? So we were kind of confused and mildly disappointed at that as it would have been nice to do that after swimming in the pool (which was great!). We went the next day and forgot to ask the staff to clarify, but according to a different review after 6pm the spa is only open if you have made an appointment, so it would be nice if that was stated clearly in the information book. Overall it was a really great stay and we wouldn't mind staying again if we were to visit the area again.

I travelled on a scoopon deal for 3 nights to the Best Western. Lovely room overlooking the pool amazing staff and food. Free shuttle to ubud central every hour. The 2 pools are fabulous and overlook the beautiful greenery. I would definitely come back to this one

Very good hotel and peace of mind in stay. Very quite and systemised place. The hotel I visited, I never see that such sweet people I met with. In my visits to hotel, including New York, I never see such comfortable place.

Best interior room and bed are comfortable. Best view for garden and pool so large. Good staff. But no elevators so make sure to take a big luggage. Overall i like this hotel and i will stay for next time.

Just loved this hotel. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The kids were kept entertained and happy with the selection of food. A short walk into town centre (10 minutes) but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing

We loved our stay at Best Western. It was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were gorgeous. Loved that our family of six were all in rooms next to each other. The rooms were huge with beautiful bathrooms. We will definitely be back.

Best Western Premier Ubud is a hotel with a very beatiful view, very helpful and nice staff. But for 4 hotels standard, the breakfast menu is less varied, they should add more variation. Keep the good work.

This resort is immaculately clean and in a super quiet area of ubud. You can easily walk down to the main street in less than 10 minutes or get the regular shuttle from the resort. All the staff are really friendly and speak good English. The spa is excellent, providing high quality massages. We stayed here on a scoopon deal and it was beyond value for money. Thank you for an amazing last few days in Bali!

Nice hotel with all the amenities one expects. But it's located a fair distance away from ubud market, it is a long walk. Hotel provides a shuttle, but the timings may not suit your schedule Breakfast spread is decent, nothing fancy. Dishes get over and are replenished slowly. The hotel has a spa and provides complimentary herbal bath for guests. But the spa timings are 10am - 6pm. That's the time guests like to go out for sightseeing. So it isn't really possible to use the spa. Noise from the corridor is audible inside the room and feels like a nuisance if there are guests coming in at late hours. Very regular place, better to be near the main Ubud market and enjoy other attractions at a walking distance.

We had the scoopon deal. Very happy with the offer. Great view from our pool view room. Good location, new property, great value and very friendly staff. The pool area is beatiful. Also there is a great spa across the road.

We stayed in BW Agung with our family. The hotel is located just 15 minutes walking distance from ubud central and even offers a free shuttle service there. The hotel facilities (rooms, gym, pool) are very new and clean. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

We stayed in Best Western Premier Agung Resort 9 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The check in was really smooth even though we asked for an third bed in one of the rooms and we were automatically upgraded into the highest rooms option. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible (e.g. they made us special vegan pancakes for breakfast, organized soy milk and gave tips for activities and restaurants) Big recommendation!

I stayed at this hotel to visit our family and escape a bit from our routine in the city. . I have a very good and smooth check-in, the introduction of the room and a very memorable welcoming greeting card from the former DOSM of BWPUbud, Mr. Bayu ( Thank you very much, sir :) ) . Pros : comfort bed, spacious room, water replenishment, suitable for family and group, i like the sweet-sour fish for the breakfast and pastries, and very big swimming pools. The staffs are warm, smiling and working happily. . Minus : HARD PILLOWS, the noise of the fridge at night, cooling system noise at night, except the sweet-sour fish at breakfast, the rest just so-so. I was ordered GADO GADO for our dinner, and the peanut sauce was too thick, so asked them to pour more water and lime. NO FISH on the fish pond and NO FLOWER makes the room ambience not alive. . This hotel is very suitable for family with children and group. They have different daily activities for the guests and shuttle service from/to Ubud city. . Very suitable for relaxing and stay along the day at the hotel, but please ask them to change your pillows in case you got the hard ones. . Thank you and Keep your Good works :)

It was a beautiful night to stay here. they have complete facilities and great design. I believe people who's trying to find quietness would fit here. the service were really warm, they show genuine kindness (unending complimentary) to my mom who's now suffering certain sickness. especially to "Dwi", thanks for enlightened up our day.

Visited here with my girlfriend in March ‘18, the hotel is lovely. The staff can't do enough for you, the facilities are great and the rooms are superb. They offer a free shuttle into Ubud Centre 5/6 times a day (with pick up if required) which is great as Taxis do ‘chance their arm' on price and Uber is “banned” (it's not). The rooms are cleaned daily and the products replenished. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would definitely visit again!

Stayed 3 nights, located near downtown, complimnenatry shuttle bus was provided, however only approx. 15 min walk into town. Beautiful pool and had a pool view room and the surrounding Ubud forest just gorgeous. Your staff were lovely. Only thing I can fault is at breakfast for the coffee lovers your coffee was very ordinary, so I purchase a cafe latte, this should be complimentary with breakfast. Will visit Ubud again will stay 5 nights next time. Highly recommend your hotel and really loved my stay in Ubud.

I was very pleased by this new resort from the check in to departure. I was received at arrival by Sri Utari at the reception who offered an exceptional service during my entire stay. The resort is small enough to have personalized service and big enough to have all services, Gym, great pool and spa. I took a room with “garden view” which gives an amazing view to the rain forest. The room on pool side looks very good as well. The room is modern and neatly decorated in Bali style, very comfortable. It is less than 10 min by car or motorcycle from Ubud main areas, so location is great to be outside the busy tourist area but easily accessible when needed. I found the best way to travel to Ubud and the region was with motorcycle taxi or to rent a motorcycle. This is a great value hotel, service and quality is above expectation for this price.

The room is clean and spacious, the area is green and walking distance to Ubud central market. The best place to get away from hectic downtown. I love the spa, you should try the "Kozoburo" bath with enzym and the real traditional Balinese spa. I am really recommended.

Thank you for your kindness throughout our 5 night stay, such a peaceful stay yet close to town, great shuttle service, beautiful food, beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, great pool, all staff are wonderful and very caring, unfortunately I became ill through no fault of best western, staff were quick to arrange a visiting DR , and continued to look after me proving ginger tea and porridge, very much appreciated thank you , unfortunately I didn't get to use the spa service that I was looking forward to but believe it is amazing as stated by other quest, We hope to return one day bringing our family , we can not recommend this property highly enough thank you, Sue & Robert

A fantastic hotel run by very welcoming and warm staff. Very new and luxurious just about 15 minute walk from UBUD town centre. Great pool and amazing views of the jungle backdrop. Extremely recommended :)

I'm staying here for 5 nights with my partner and so far it has been amazing. The view of the jungle out the back is stunning, the pool is beautiful and the rooms are very clean and beautifully presented. Free shuttles into the town centre, but its also only a 10 minute walk down to the main shops and 20 to the ubud palace (generally agreee upon centre of ubud). The staff are amazing, so friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Best Western for your stay in Ubud :)

Stayed here with friends and we loved it, great value for money the rooms are beautiful and the pool is so nice, beautiful location short walk to town or use the hotels free shuttle. The herb bath is a must try experience in the hotels spa.

We stayed 2 nights here and really love it. The hotel is located near downtown but you should not walk since it is the forrest along the way. They do provide free shuttle bus wbich you can book the time. The hotel give free herbal bath which is very nice; lay down in the hot herbal sand. Breakfast is not delicious but thats not the big deals. The facility is new and very clean

This time was four times we visit this resort. From time to time as long as our stay there, was excellent. The room cleanest was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The last time we stay there, one of my family had allergic and need Doctor immediately. The staff directly seeking Doctor and not to long, the Doctor had arrived. It was very excellent service for me, thank you for all staff and hotel manager to accommodated our need and make excellent experience during our stay there.

We recently stayed for 5 nights. Was quiet during our stay not many people at all. The pools although not big were very refreshing. Always able to get a pool lounge. The rooms were very clean and a reasonable size. Good to get 2 large bottles of water a day. Mattress was a little hard for our liking but still ok. The balcony overlooking the pools and greenery was very nice. Aircon worked a treat. Breakfast was very nice with a constant flow of fresh food to replace any empty Bain Marie. A large selection of western and Asian food available. Beef bacon though. We used the spa a beautiful massage but ridiculously expensive. The spa across the road was cheaper and most probably nicer. Even though it was still expensive for Bali. There is a free shuttle into town but only about a 10 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay and if we stay again in Ubud we would stay here.

My wife and I had not had a pleasant start as our plane got delayed more than 12 hours from Melbourne, and therefore arrived 12hours later than the plan. We were bit worried as the pick up was meant to be at 12:30pm and it became 1:00am. Honestly, I thought we should find our way to Ubud from the airport as many hotels are not offering pick up after 10pm, but kindly enough, management has arranged a driver for thar time of the day. Even though we had list a day in Ubud, we were welcomed with big smile at 2:40am in the morning and it was off to a good start. Following day, we finally had a chance to look at the resort with a sunlight and it was even better than we had expected. It is in the secluded area surrounded by tropical plants and it sure has an exotic atmosphere. Buffet breakfast menus are changing every day and you can enjoy as much as you want with a warm welcome from the staff members. They were constantly checking tables for the customer's need and always came up with a professional attitude. We have used a Scoopon deal and this was definitely by far the most wise spent we have ever made on selecting an accomodation. This place has many features include clean and decent sized communal pool, gym and restaurant you can enjoy. Everything was exceptionally clean as I assume it is because still a very new accomodation and because of that, furnitures, beddings,bathroom and many more were all in a wonderful condition. Location wise, it is only a 13-15minutes walking distance away from the main street of Ubud. Shuttle is also provided under pre-order but not so necessary if you want to enjoy your trip with a flexibility. Surprisingly, we were worried about mosquitoes as we had very bad experience with it in Seminyak area on our last visit to Bali, but this place is clear from bugs. I saw a staff who were constantly working on spraying an anti-epidemic liquids around the ways with in the resort. Scoopon deal had daily Lunch or Dinner and daily drinks included and the food was also nice. They serve 3course meal and it was pleasant every time we walked in the restaurant. Also we had 60minutes Balinese full body massage and especially my wife loved their professional service. She said it was much better than the one we had in the Main street. I cannot stress more to recommend this place and enjoy the most value for money experience. We would definitely want to come back on our next visit to Ubud.

This is my third day here on a seven day stay. My wife and I have been coming to Ubud for 25 year, 1st time at the Best Western. We arrived mid February Hotel wasn't full so was upgraded from superior to deluxe room. Unfortunately I got a debilitating chest cold my second day, waitress doctored me with local natural remedy and the second day came to my room with her manager which was proper to give me sweet porridge as was given to family members that are sick. What can I say, the facility is as good as I have seen, the price is an excellent value but most of all a caring staff that goes way above and beyond the norm.

Stayed at this hotel late Feb '18. The hotel wasn't full so we were upgraded to a 'garden' (forest ) view room (inc balcony ), which was great. The room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. Received a welcome drink upon arrival and fresh fruit in our room. The hotel feels like it had been built in the middle of the forest, so it is very tranquil - palm trees everywhere, birds singing. The staff all lovely, as was all the food. ...the restaurant is open all day from breakfast to late evening, which i particularly liked as want restricted to set meal times. Breakfast was different every day (we stayed for 3 nights) and catered for all tastes. The swimming pool (infinity) was lovely, no problem getting a sunbed any time of day during our stay. The hotel is a good walk into town, however a free shuttle bus is provided at various times throughout the day. Had an excellent stay here and would not hesitate staying again

When reading this review please bare in mind that the occupancy rate during our stay was very low. My Scoopon deal represented exceptional value in my opinion. COMMUNICATION - The Reservation Staff answered my emails promptly and fully answered all of my pre- arrival questions. CHECKIN - Very efficient with everything explained and the Scoopon voucher system fully explained along with some guidelines and what could and could not be provided via a voucher. ACCOMODATION - Deluxe Pool View Room 1119... very clean, great linen, good size fridge, excellent aircon and everything seemed fresh and “up market old Bali style” with all of the supplementary bathroom items renewed everyday and absolutely everything worked the way it should. Great Rain Head shower and the hot water never ran out. HOUSEKEEPING - Exceptional...we requested that every day the room was cleaned etc before 11:00 so we had confidence that when we got back to the room each day our room was clean and everything had been replenished... well done “housekeeping” MEALS - whilst we could have easily walked (about 15minutes) to Central Ubud to eat we chose to eat 95% of all of our meals at the Lotus restaurant within the resort...The restricted Scoopon menu was sufficient in portion but limited in choice the main menu provided good choice and meal portion size was more than adequate plus the environment was extremely clean LOCATION - We have been visiting Bali on and off for the last 30 years and most years we come at least twice . The location of this resort is almost perfect just 15 minutes walk from Central Ubud but you could be a world away as this place is so serene ...it's quiet, it's clean and is surrounded by dense tropical jungle and rice paddies... The one thing that we were initially concerned about was the impact of mosquitoes with the resort so close to the jungle and the rice paddies...we were pleasantly surprised with absolutely no contact mozzies or other bugs. There are several laundries within walking distance with the average cost per Kg @ Rp.15000. Directly in front of the resort is a small store that sells ice cold Bintang large 660ml Rp.33000 Small 330ml Rp.22000 the Resort also had a promotion on whilst we were there ...buy 2 small Bintang and get a free Bintang Raddler ... Rp.36000 for a 330ml ++ which works out to about A$4 ... just be aware that all prices advertised in the resort do NOT include the the Service and Govt tax ++ (21% needs to be added to all purchases) WiFi - Exceptional with 4 bars showing in all areas of the resort - we were even able to stream Netflix with no buffering...but occupancy was low so there was plenty of bandwidth available...plus Unlike some other places we have stayed in Bali recently there was not even 1 staff member using their smart phone whilst on the job...very professional Best Western.! SUMMARY - The Best Western Ubud is a relatively newly refurbished complex, it's clean and friendly set in a very serene location with both rice paddies and dense tropical jungle on your doorstep. Would I stay here again...ABSOLUTELY!

Hotel is 7 months old as at Feb 2018. Hotel is serene and quiet and lovely at a first sight. I have booked a room with balcony and pool view. Room is spacious and clean. Complimentary of two bottles of 1 litre water and coffee/tea. Bathroom is clean, has a rainforest shower, bath tub, full set of toiletries, towels and hair dryer. Balcony does has mosquitoes but not a problem to us as we spent times by the pool mostly especially during 4 to 6pm with the hotel's free tea set that comes with my booking. Breakfast is simple but not very vegetarian though with East and West choices and on the spot eggs cooking station. The services starting from front desk to driver to bell boy to waiter to technician to cleaning staff to room service to spa to higher management are all highly professionally, welcoming, smiling, greeting every time we see one of them. This is the only hotel that makes us stayed in most of times and ordered room service and ate at the open air restaurant. Menu is limited but foods are delicious and cheap (50% for Best Western reward membership). Shuttle service provided free of charge every 1 to 1 1/2 hours to Ubud Centre about 8 minutes away which is not advisable to walk. Really appreciate the services provided and thank you.

Good property especially as it is under a year old,room and bathroom had some nice touches,I would have liked a larger pool but that's because I like to swim.On the whole staff and hotel were good and had no problems.

Nice place, very close to the center of Ubud. Nice staff, welcoming you with the famous Balinese warmth. Well equipped rooms, spacious and comfy bed too. Nice pool with large terrace, so easy to sunbath or just hang around the pool. Great place to stay in Ubud.

We stayed seven days and it was a great hotel. Fantastic location, walking distance down to the main street in ubud with lots of cafes, shops, restaurants and markets. The hotel has a free shuttle bus that runs several times a day if you don't want to walk. We often walked down to dinner and caught the bus back afterwards. Room was good, very clean, the bathroom lovely and very clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Food was great. Breakfast had plenty of choices and lots of it. Free afternoon tea between 4 and 5pm. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was delicious. We had lots of great walks around the hotel, saw rice paddies and village life. Friday they offered a free guided walking tour which we took, thank you to the wonderful guide! Overall a great hotel, lovely location and I would stay again.

We bought the 5 night scoopon deal which was fantastic value! The inclusions in the deal you just couldn't look past and made the stay worth it. However, we had 2 young children with us and when buying the scoopon and reading the T&Cs it did say children were included which we assumed meals as well. I questioned this which management agreed and our kids had a few meals. The next day management showed me further T&Cs on the scoopon website (not on our voucher) saying meals were excluded for kids (however the meals they already had were then complimentary because of the misunderstanding) so we were thankful for that. Our initial request when booking the resort 6 months beforehand stated if we could have our room set up for our 10yr wedding anniversary with petals. This was overlooked, however 2 days late lovely Dea found out this hadn't happened and spoke to me about it then arranged it for the next day. She also included a beautiful heartwarming letter with photos for us that was beautiful! Dea is a lovely person and this resort is lucky to have her! The pools are amazing & the resort has a beautiful view. It's such a tranquil setting! The food was ok for lunch/dinner but breakfast was gross. We didn't eat much at breakfast as getting between 8.30-9 seemed to have nothing much left. The actual food could improve. The complimentary massage was amazing as well as the room & view with it. The shuttle bus was excellent apart from one time it didn't pick us up when it was raining hard. We ended up walking back as we had an activity organized shortly after. I LOVED how the resort was away from the hustle and bustle and secluded from people! Overall, was great value for money on scoopon with few improvements needed. I'm glad we stayed there.

Best western was an excellent place to stay in Ubud. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The food is excellent and the staff were amazing. It is in a great spot easy 15 min walk down to centre of town if want to walk off your buffet breakfast or they have a regular free shuttle each way. Great pool and Spa is also very good. Would certainly recommend

This is an excellent hotel, with a great location just outside the busy streets of ubud centre but still within a short walk. The hotel is very tranquil with amazing tropical riverine forest views at the back of the hotel and rice paddies to the side. The buffet breakfast is particularly good as are the 2 pools and there are also free (new) bikes you can use which is great for seeing the local area.

The staff was very professional and helpful, room is comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The shuttle service was good and in house activities such as herbal bath and craft was very enjoyable.

Fantastic from start to finish. We stayed here on a scoopon offer and will stay again. Beautiful well appointed rooms over looking the pools and jungle. Lovely and quiet, fantastic staff , great food at the restaurant and we were very spoilt on our Anniversary. Room made up with swan towels, rose petals on the bed. Bath tub full of roses in the shape of a love heart. We were serenaded by the staff at brecki and presented with a traditional Balinese wedding cake - just beautiful

We had a very good experience in the hotel thanks to all the team from the Hotel. Specially I want to remark the exceptional details service and passion of Suarmita, he was very nice with us all time. Remomended

Stayed there for 3 nights as part of Scoopon deal. Overall the resort is fairly new and very quiet. The staff are always friendly. The pools are great, with varying depth levels which my kids loved. The main down side is the setup for the massage room seems a bit basic - not even air conditioned... Also there is only one open air restaurant in the resort - it would be great to have more food choices.

My family and I stayed here in Jan 2018. Positives: The room was a good size and had a view of the pool. The scenery around the hotel is stunning and the atmosphere was tranquil and relaxed. The staff were amazing and nothing was ever to much. The quality of the food was also good. Negative: the selection of food was not great. The same menu for lunch and dinner. There was not much selection for vegetarians although the staff did accommodate by altering dishes that contained meat to make them vegetarian.

Located walking distance to ubud main street the best western is a tranquil little hide out from the hustle bustle of ubud central. Very friendly service, clean new rooms and boasts a gym and a pool. We had a very good stay here.

Wow what a hidden gem ithis amazing resort is.?????? I purchased a scoopon 5 day holiday at this great resort. I must say the staff are absolutely amazing and really made my stay so welcoming and memorable.?????? The resort is So close to heart of Central Ubud, u can walk down the hill to the heart of Ubud in 15 mins., it is a pleasant walk and good to see the lbackstreets ...Laundry is only $1.50 pe rkilo of washing with the laundy down the road. Such great service with by hourly shuttle bus, drop off and pick up outside Ubud palace. The drivers are all very pleasant and going out of there way for u. The restaurant staff Komang Adi, Yuniari and Savitri really made my restaurant experience enjoyable, Always service with a big smile...Always bending gover backwards for guests to ensure their Dining experience is A1. The complimentary lunch or dinner menu was great , choice of entre, ??main ????and desert .??..Food was good .?????? Great work Bagus on the menu and great tasty food....Lookig forward to enjoying more bruschetta soon, Also Great offer on The 2 complimentary drinks per day, cocktails were great ?????? The 2 pools are great and plenty of deck chairs to lay in the sun.?????? I stayed in the premier executive room which I highly recommend, good size and very nice , very clean and comfortable, Great amenities, comb, toothbuprush, razor, shine shoes, nail file, sewing kit, all supplies a super well as 2 large bottles of water free of charge. ??????.Some of the 5 star hotels don't even offer u this. The cleaning staff do an amazing job with an added bonus of turn down bed every night.?????? All in all I must congratulate Alit, Dea, and all the wonderful staff on making my trip so special, It was so good that I have booked to come back again at Easter.
