Best Western Plus Hotel Fredericia

Nice hotel, good family room and free parking. Didn't use any other facilities though but it looked very nice. We used this as a stopover on our journey from Copenhagen to Billund, as we had 2 days of Lego activities in Billund but only wanted 1 night there due to the crazy costs. Miniture village next door is worth a little visit too.

I had a great experience at the Best Western Plus Hotel Fredericia in July 2024 during a family trip. We were passing through Denmark and stopped here for the night. The hotel's location was excellent, being close to the highway, which made it very convenient for our journey. The room was nice and clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of travel. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. The parking was close and convenient. Although the breakfast was just okay, the food was tasty. Overall, the hotel's amenities and service made for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to families and travelers passing through.

Stayed for 1 night in a junior suite with 5 beds. Beds were comfortable and these rooms have air conditioning which was needed in June. Didn't sleep great, but the family did. My sleep was impacted by jet lag and not the comfort of the room. The washrooms are modern and have good water pressure. Like every other hotel we stayed at in Scandinavia, showering resulted in water on the floor outside of the shower stall. Hotel is well located in the middle of Denmark for a trip to Legoland Billund. We could open up the patio door to the terrace, beyond which were cows grazing in the field. Disappointed to have just missed the opening hours of the pool. Reception should have informed us when we checked in of the pools hours. There is a nice playground between the hotel and the swimming hall. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

This hotel sits at nice and quiet place. We had view overlooking a field with cows - which was well received by our children. The room is clean, spacious with comfortable bed. Extra plus with 2 Tesla wall charger and 4 more from Ok, made our trip much more enjoyable. Excellent service. We would most certainly be back again.

When I stayed at Best Western Hotel Fredericia, I had a fantastic experience. The location was convenient, the room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The amenities provided added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I would highly recommend Best Western Hotel Fredericia for a pleasant and relaxing accommodation option.

Not too many in this area to choose from and very popular with business groups. God atmosphere and friendly staff. Restaurant menu was lacking choices and the meals we had were very poor. Rooms are large and okay from a comfort perspective. Shower door could only open halfway as the sink was in the way. Actual shower head was half blocked

I travelled back to the UK with our two cats. This hotel charges a pet fee per pet. Location: the hotel is located some distance from the motorway. The area itself is very nice with parkland backing the hotel. There is leisure complex next to the hotel and guests get free passes to it. There is parking available right outside the hotel. You will need to register your car's registration number on the tablet by the reception. Check-in: the receptionist was friendly but did not acknowledge that I am a Diamond Best Western Rewards member. The card payments did not work when we checked but I simply paid the next morning. Room: the room is a good size (for Europe) but there is no air conditioning meaning it gets very hot when it is hot outside. A fan was supplied in the room but it was still very warm in the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The TV had a good number of channels. Wifi: the complimentary wifi was good. Breakfast: our room rate included breakfast. The breakfast was good with a number of hot items as well as fresh fruit, cheeses, yoghurts and sandwich meat. Overall: we stayed here because I am a Diamond member of Best Western Rewards and they accepted cats. The hotel is very nice and is reasonably priced for being in Scandinavia. I would stay here again.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The sink was totally clogged. Water came out on the floor. The room was stinking.They did not help us the first day so cleaning hands and brushing teeth was difficult. They were fully booked and no one came to fix it. I tried to clean out all the stinking hair by myself, it got a little better but still the water did rise and took a long time to dissapear. Day two a technician came and made it worse. The sink was leaking in the pipes below too. When we came home late at night after Legoland we could get another room but we had to put the kids to sleep, and were leaving early in the morning. So packing and changing room would have made the night worse. When we checked out the staff was hesitating to give a discount. But after much arguing we got a discount. The room was also missing towels, the shower filled the whole bathroom with water, nowhere to unpack things in the bathroom, nowhere to unpack clothes. Even the cheap ferry to Denmark had all of that. So we're not using their hotels in the future.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. However the room was tiny, you have to shuffle around the bed sideways. Finding how the lights worked took a while and was frustrating. The staff had limited knowledge of the local area.

The hotel is located at the edge of the city,near the sport center.Clean & decent place with a good breakfast. But there is no air-condition in the room.During the night, we needed to open the window just to be able to breathe.Shower curtains allow water to spread all over the bathroom floor. The beds are queen size. No fridge in the room. Very friendly staff .

We went to this hotell in Fredricia for 2 nights. It was a nice and big room whit aircondition,The hotel have good food.And the ladies in the reception was very nice and service minded. The resturante has to smal dinnermeny. And the bar on the hotell is the worst Bar ever. Long... long... time to wait before ordering. And the personal do not know have to mix any drinks,so i think them need to study. Or the hotell need to hire new people..The worst Bar ever...!

Small things that catch the eye for the price: Rusty soap support in the bathroom, only 1 soap dispenser, so you need to reach to the other side of the shower curtain to reach it. Very cheap shower curtain system to hang it on, so all the rings tend to loosen while closing the curtain. No telephone to call the reception in the room. And on top of all: They charge you for the Tesla destination charger. So we payed (in January 2022 € 117 for the room) low season and in Covid-19 lockdown times. And in addition € 16 for the electricity of the car. Best Western gets the charger and installation done for free by Tesla. The unwritten rule is that you can receive more guests (like us), so you don't charge for the electricity. But Best Western apparently want to earn every penny they can get. At check-out I mentioned the points above (after they asked me how our stay was). Nothing happened.

Hi, I stayed here in November 2021. The Hotel is located close to the main road and also to a fitness center. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was nice. The breakfast menu was quite splurge with a lot of different food to try. If you stay in Frederica this is definitely worth a try.

Stayed 1 night on business. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and out very easy. Restaurants and bar area excellent. Limited food choices but it was excellent. Room very comfortable and appointed very well. Temperature great, ground floor do could fully open window. Shower excellent

The room was small and the bathroom tiny. The no-pan shower left the entire bathroom floor wet. The bedding was very spartan, a hard base with a thin plastic foam mat, although it was comfortable enough. The minimalist poured concrete walls can be depressing to some people. But breakfast was good, decent selection and good quality. I give it an extra star for the breakfast. Ample parking but you have to register your car to avoid parking fines. Ask the front desk for instructions. Good for a short stay.

Nice room and nice morning food, but there was background music both night and day, noise from craftsmen early Saturday morning. no air conditioning. We had number 225 and complained but it did not help and the music never faded.

Very good value for money. Hotel is modern and clean, rooms are great and beds too. The breakfast buffet was amazing, very big variety, and also many healthy options. Great for kids too. Location is a bit out of the city center, but there are buses and a small train that you can take for free to go into Madsby Legepark. We enjoyed walking to and from the hotel too, it was a nice walk next to a lake. Staff was very friendly too.

The Hotels facilites is on top, new renovated / built and a 5* restaurant I'm sad only to give this place two stars- but even the place has it all- the success has unfortunately made the personal care towards a single person nonchalant as the hotel seems to be focused on the big group reservations- I got the feeling that I was time wasting and not welcomed :-/

not bad for the most part food was good I did get a ribeye that was poorly prepared but the rest of the service was good and the staff were friendly the location was convenient and the view of the goats grazing was nice the room was clean and comfortable I had a good time drinking around and visiting with the local city

Very nice hotel. Good ambiance. Location not for visiting... Nothing interesting around the hotel, except industries and commercial area. Good breakfast if we like salty meal. Few place to park the car.

Overall the staff in the hotel were fantastic. The food in the dinner was super and the cleanliness of hotel was great. The hotel was in a great location for my requirement and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody staying the the area

Was reccommended this hotel by colleagues due to proximity but it was very disapointed. The room was ok but there was no mini-bar - seriously, we are in 2019... this should be minimum standard for any hotel claiming to be 4-stars. My room had quite a nice view but not very good sound-proof. I was also with the impression that there was a gym with swimming pool. It turns out there was a sports facility next door that I could use. After being informed of the situation by the receptionist I got changed and went there, just to find out it was already closed... 5pm on a Sunday! The dinner menu was disappointing with not many options. I ended up going for a burger and it had such a weird taste that made me feel sick later when I went back to my room - there is a McD not far from there, which is ridiculous to even suggest, but... At least I managed to have a decent breakfast - that was very good.

The hotel is very neat, clean and has an excellent restaurant. Plently of room for a conference or meeting. Great facilities, but do not look for the Best Western sign until you are almost at the front door; the main sign is just "HOTEL."

BW Fredericia is the best in town and many other cities. The rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. One would be received by a friendly, smiling and professional staff. The hotel is well placed with and has good parking space.

Location is great, IF you are attending a fair in Messe C or any sports happening in nearby sports complex. Check-in was effective despite 10 people in queue. Standard room does not have a minibar (against room description), but it was otherwise worth its price. Personally I do not like wall-to-wall carpet, but sometimes you cannot avoid it. Sound isolation is not one of the best / if you are sensitive hearing, what is happening in neighbors bathroom, this is not the right place for you. Dinner was a disaster, very limited choice and worst salmon I've ever been served in a restaurant. However, breakfast was above expectations with fresh and wide choice of both cold and hot dishes. So my piece of advice is - sleep there and enjoy breakfast, but do not plan to eat dinner there. McDonalds in 400 meters walking range serves much better choice, if you dont want to go to center to a real restaurant.

The hotel is well located for access to the main routes West to East in Denmark. I had a couple of visits to make with two colleagues from Germany. The usual hotel I stay in was fully booked so this was the next option for us. The welcome at check-in was excellent and the standard of the room was good. Typical functional nordic decor and furniture. We decided to eat in the hotel and this is why I am reluctant to give more than a 3* rating. Although the quality of the food was good the standrd of the waiting staff was very poor and they were oblivious to basic things like empty water jugs, courses that were finished, waiting for the bill. They had to be cajoled into action at every step of the way. Not great!

We really enjoyed our trip. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is excellent. The main asset of this hotel is the staff. They rang restaurants and the bike hire company when needed and were happy to unlock our safe when our youngest had locked his shoes in! Thank you. Also would recommend pool and sauna next door (you get a free visit per stay)

I spent three nights here with my family, mainly as a jumping-off point for Legoland which is about 45 minutes away by car. The hotel is good, it's one of the better Best Westerns I've stayed at. Nice design and decor, very clean and friendly service at every turn. The room we stayed in had two single beds and a bunk bed which worked fine for us. The room was small but it worked. We found the room warm and stuffy even on a mild day, but there was a fan provided to help deal with that. There is an impressive breakfast buffet spread provided in the dining room, which is a bright, sunny place. That was a nice plus. There is a good sized parking lot out front as well. We received complimentary passes for the pool and waterpark next door which was a wonderful perk - the facility is great and the kids loved their visit. It was a pleasant stay and I'd have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

My first stay in this hotel. Looked forward as this is supposed to be an 4star hotel. But the room Standard is weak... Small room. The shower is small with bad ventilation. No ac on the room. Noicy when the neighbour uses the shower. The bed has a good size.

The hotel is great. The location is good and easy to access with free parking. The staff was extremely helpful. The one issue I had was the front desk did not inform of the connection between them and the awesome great pool and water park next door. I went there twice and paid 280 DKK for two of us. Other than that it was a great hotel and I will return.

This is just my humble personal opinion: I stayed with my family at this Hotel, due a booking problem with a camping house, they sent us here for just 1 night. The staff was really nice and friendly, they just forgot to explain me how it works to register the car for the parking (should i have register the car through an Ipad in the hall by myself...never did it before, maybe in Denmark is the standard), even though I asked in the evening about this, and they just asked me for the camping email, to send them the bill of everything. But in the morning they were really nice, fast and professional to solve the issue that had been created. Breakfast and dinner really good! I would recommend the hotel for a couple or for a business trip, for a family with children maybe not. Staff: 9/10 Restaurant: 9/10 Hotel room: 8/10

We stayed for one night because the nearby campground messed up the reservation of our cabin. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, the salmon was really fresh and tasty. The waitress was really nice. Our room (double bed and a bunk bed) was relatively small but clean and tidy. Only the bathroom was not practical at all because the shower flooded it completely. The breakfast buffet offered a vast choice of sweet and savory food and the restaurant staff again was very friendly.

Low rise hotel that is immaculately turned out. Staff from reception to the restaurant are excellent Small bar counter and seating in lobby along with hot drinks area. Rooms well appointed except for twin beds Dinner menu is small but good quality Breakfast was excellent

Easy to find, great free parking. Quick check-in. Didn't get any information about breakfast, WiFi, restaurant or any other info in general. Fantastic room with large tv, coffee facilities and spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed and great work desk. Breakfast: Excellent, with many cold and hot choices. Strong and stable WiFi Fast check out with coffee to go.

The hotel was just next to the conventional hall where we took part at the European Professional Dance Championship. The hotel is in a very nice surrounding and easy to reach from Billund. Odensee is also only 35 minutes care drive away and a nice place to visit.

The hotel might be a little difficult to find if you come by car so you should use a GPS. The hotel is supposed to be a four star hotel, but it seems closer to a three star. The room rate is however ok. There is a parking lot also with charging stations for electrical cars. Close to the hotel there is both a sports facility and a swimming hall. Tickets was included in the room rate. Just outside there i also a "station" for a mini-train. A few hundred meters away there i a replica of old- time Fredericia. You can walk there or take the mini-train. Inside the decor is dark, brown and ugly. The maid service was not particulary good. If you are in the room when they reach it they just dump towels outside the door and proceed to the next room. The rooms itself was quite nice, but the airconditon did not work properly. If you got a room on the right side you can get a view of grazzing sheeps which make you feel like being in the countryside. The breakfast was ok, with both indoor and outdoor eating areas.

Very comfortable room with great tv and radio ~ loads of channels. Very good shower and great views from the room. Breakfast was good too, lots of choice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Well recommended.

I booked the room from Best Western web site and after the booking I got 20€ cheaper offer from TripAdvisor. I mentioned this on the counter. The lady said that you should NOT use our site. You can get room elsewhere cheaper. I could not believe my ears. The room was supposed to be family room. It wasn't. Really small smelly room with extra bed. The hotel is supposed to be 4 star. The room had no airconditioner. No minibar or friz. The bed reading light was broken. It was really hot which made it hard to sleep. There was supposed to be parking. There wasn't parking spot was full. What comes to swiming. It's public swimming hall which you get one free ticket. The place is open from 10am to 6pm. Breakfast was pretty good and the dining room is quite nice. If you want to sleep and get some value for your money I wouldn't recommend this hotel. This one goes to bottom 10% where I have been. I will never visit again.

I have stayed multiple times in this hotel. In my opinion a good choice of you are for business. The newly decorated rooms are modern with Airco and bathroom with separate shower. The sport center next door offers plenty of work out options from swimming in 50 m pool to Gym. In case you wish to dine out then Fredericia and Middelfart offer plenty of options. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Be careful with regard to parking registration as it may seem confusing the first time. The reception can help you avoiding any penalties.

We spend the night here as a stop on our trip to Sweden and also during our return. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean, absolutely no complaints there. What I do find quite baffling though, is that this is supposedly a 4 star hotel. The rooms don't have airco so on hot summer days they're an oven (don't think opening the window does anything, there is no circulation). There is no fridge, not even a complimentary bottle of water. We don't requite luxury but please don't advertise this as a 4 star hotel if everything is just the minimum. I have slept in other Best Westerns and even the majority of motels I ever stayed in were several categories above this. I can't recommend this for anything else than an overnight stop and because dogs were allowed for a small extra fee, which was the reason we were staying. (however not in the breakfast area)

Stayed at Best Western Fredericia for 1 night. Paid about 100 Euros for a standard room with breakfast. Room: The room was clean and rather basic. There was no air conditioner and so a manual wind blower was provided. The bed was good to sleep on. The TV was of a good size but at nights the on/off, etc. lights were so bright, the whole room was lit. The bathroom was clean. The shower was old fashioned with a curtain. There was also no "border" to stop the water flowing somewhere else and nothing to clean it up, so after showering the water was all over the bathroom floor and lots of towels were used to clean it. Reception: People were very friendly and helpful. Parking is free as long as you register. I registered but made one mistake and therefor I got a 750DKK fine. At the reception they were so kind to take care of it. Location: Very good if you have a car. There is a miniature land, play park, swimming hall, etc. right next to the hotel. By car easy access to all sights and places around. Breakfast: Was surprisingly good. Very good and nice selection! Very nice to sit at the breakfast area as well. The only comment is that things were not filled up and one had to ask for additional meat, e.g. Also after 09.00 nothing was filled up anymore, even breakfast was till 09.30. Also had dinner at the restaurant and it was actually very good. Overall: for sure recommend this place. Next time though I would appreciate to stay in the new block where the hopefully is air conditioner and a proper shower.

Nice hotell easy to find in a quite area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Spacious, quite rooms. Great nordic quality. Comfy bed. TV with access to HDMI connections. Great breakfast. Plenty of parking. Room was very clean but had a strange odour. Only one towel and the quality felt poor. Shower area could be better to keep water from the rest of the bathroom. Lamps with moderns switches that didn't work, had to pull the plug. Overall this is a good hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on a work trip. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Just bear in mind there is no conditioner supplied, only shampoo. The restaurant breakfast buffet is fantastic. It has a good selection of healthy options and I recommend you try the Skyr instead of yogurt! The dinners are expensive and the menu stays the same all week, apart from the vegetarian option which is new everyday, on request.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel, and our overall impression was that it is a really good hotel, a great option if you are visiting the area. It's not located in the downtown, so if you have a car it will be right to get to the village or to another point. Hotel and rooms were extremely clean, I think this was its highlight. Room with comfortable beds, that's the main point. Spacious room. And very silent. Perfect. Special mention to absolutely all the staff, everybody was very friendly and helpful. Bad wifi signal (in fact, one night we did not have internet, other days bad signal, maybe because we were in the last room in the corridor). About breakfast buffet, I found missing some sweet option: although there were lots of breads, cheese, cereals, juices, coffees or eggs, there were not croissants, or simply cookies. In addition, I would like to point out that, of course, I know that we are in Denmark and the official language is Danish, but in the menu of the restaurant was only in that language, not in English. As this is a hotel where there are people of several countries, I don't ask for my language, of course, but almost the "universal", English. However, I have to say that the staff translated us the menu, but it's not practical. To sum up, this is a great option to stay when visiting the area. I would repeat with no doubt.

It was a pleasure experience, everyone was very helpful and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it. We only stayed for a night but I can see their care and high quality services. I can see us returning and staying at this location due their services and place.

We held our corporate Christmas party at Best Western Plus Hotel Fredericia, and it turned out to be the best party we ever held in company history - at least that was the feedback from my colleagues. They sure know how to treat their guests. Nothing we asked for was too difficult for them - they always found a way to meet our needs and to respect the other hotel guests at the same time. I was amazed at the level of professionalism the entire staff put on the entire time. This hotel has amazing views of the lake and nature surrounding it. What a happy way to wake up in the morning. It´s hard to have a bad day when you wake up to this view. The rooms are kept very clean and were so quiet. I normally find it hard to sleep when I´m not in my own bed, but I slept so comfortably. The big shower head, (There were actually two!) makes showering very relaxing. I had a nice corner room which I definitely would recommend. There was a minibar/ refrigerator, a safe and a large TV with a wide variety of channels for everybody. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious, and there was plenty of it. Even the pickiest eater could easily find something to their taste. I am now, very seriously considering Best Western Plus Hotel Frederica for my next stay when my family and I are in Jutland to visit theme parks. Just to be able to enjoy the hospitality and friendliness of the staff once again. I would gladly drive the extra miles for this experience!

Easy to access from the road. Breakfast was great with lots of options for a variety of tastes. The room is well appointed and bed was comfy. Wifi worked well and easy. Room and toilet nice and clean.

Best hotel in Fredericia, however, potential to deliver and be much more. Rooms are not equipped with best quality interior. Bedsheets do smell awkward and higher floor rooms are noisy. Recently part hotel has been is renovated, so maybe better now. Great service at reception, however, truly Danish so ask if you are unsure and/or not satisfied. Great WiFi and location. Excellent restaurant with true superb selection of wines and beers. Good food, try the menu and burger! Bar and restaurant could be noisy with blue collar workers from the Fredericia refinery (Shell).

Stayed over one night. Very convenient, clean, spacious room, great breakfast. If the weather permits, you can at outside, the grounds are nicely kept. The pillows were the very-squishable kind, BW should improve them.

I just checked out fom this hotel today and the overall experience was not good. I stayed here because went on a business trip and someone else made the reservations. When I first got there, i noticed the sheets on the bed had a foul smell, so as I was provided two duvets in the double bed, i used one to put over the bed and the other one to cover myself... I decided it was not worth it to make a big deal and was honestly too tired from my working days to complain... Mind you, I slept 4 NIGHTS THERE. Today, when I was looking around the room to make sure I was nt missing anything, I moved the duvets and when I flip one of them over... THERE ARE BLOOD STAINS ON IT... DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE. I took a picture of it and showed it to reception when I checked out and I didnt even receive an apology. The woman there still had the freaking nerve to ask me if I was sure it was not mine... Unbelievable.

I had an overall very bad experience on this hotel. The staf lacks impati and is not given any kind of service.... Smelly rooms are inclueded. If you are not hungy after a buffet, you cant get anything, and no help to find another place to eat.

Here for one night in the dark depths of winter, not a big town so not a lot of choice. This one is a little on the outskirts so you'll need a taxi or a car to get to it but it is not far, it's a modern and fairly simple hotel, the rooms are new and clean and bed is comfortable but unlikely to win any design awards for a striking welcome. Breakfast, surprisingly good, the Danes do good bacon, bead, smoked fish, need I go on? AND ...The big PLUs for me (excuse the pun here) is their on site restaurant. I read the reviews on TA, and pretty good so decided, on a cold dark windy night ....to dine in. Wow, this place is punching well above it's weight, I ended up having three courses which was simply excellent. Not your basic pub grub, quality ingredients, innovative menu put together and delivered by a chef who knows food, each course was a delight! Perfect sized portions, looked wonderful and great flavours. Treat yourself, and dine in.

Have stayed here several times. The old name is Hotel Kronprinds Frederik. It is modern with a whole new section, with GREAT BIG CLEAN rooms. 500-600 sqft. Style in the new section is ultra modern, very stylish danish design. The breakfast is big with everything and the restaurant is light with a good view. The hotel has lots of free parking, but is a bit hard to find, but use your GPS and you will have no problem. If you arrive with kids, be prepared to let them go into the large indoor pool resort which is adjacent (50 meters) from the hotel entrance. Service by the very experienced night staff was superb, The hotel is ideal for both a quick overnight or a weekend stay or a week(business) visit. Thank you.

Having stayed at this Hotel on both business and private visits, it never ceases to give great value for money. Positive and friendly staff, smart,clean and comfortable rooms and a good restaurant where everything works. Breakfast would I feel is the only weak spot, but I am sure they are a hotel that will work that out and lift it to the same standard as the remainder in time.

Actually this is really a mix between a hotel and a conference center, both in look, attitude and facilities. That is allright but not what you expect. It is far off center in Frederica and right next to the stadium and shold not pretend to be a hotel rather than a place to stay for near bye sporting events.

It is more popular among business stay than tourist stay. Swimming hall beside this hotel. Hotel has decent breakfast menu. On request to prepare Indian veg food, they put lot of effort and were successful. Rooms are good of fairly decent size.

I was staying in another best western hotel in nearby Vejle, which did not come up to my expectations. This hotel did not have availability for the last night of my stay here in Denmark so I moved over to this hotel. What a contrast, nice airy comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff. This is a hotel were I would be more than happy to stay at again.

I had to have a bed, during a couple of Work days in stores, and at the Carlsberg brewery. Came quite late. Hotel rooms were all let out, but at the annex, there still was free rooms. Had a nice room - Space for 4, with a view directly to Madsby Legepark.

Best in the hotel is the very friendly staff. Rooms don't have any air conditioning or possibility to adjust the temperature. In the winter it was a little cold in the room and in the summer I got once a room at sunny side and the temperature was at least 35 degrees Celcius. Could not really get any sleep before the night got cooler and I could keep the window open to get some cool air. The breakfast had a lot of choices but surprisingly there was no margarine or other lactose free options available even when requested beforehand. The hotel is located next to a big park which is ideal path ways for an evening walk. In park there is a miniature town telling the history of the town, but it closes at six. Sometimes one can also see cows next to the park and there is a lake with swans and other birds. And a little further in the park there is also a playground.

Staff was good and helpful. food was good and chef was flexible Location is bit out of town and there is not much too do.. You can walk to a near by park which is good. You better have a car else will be taking taxi which becomes expensive

Great cervice from helpful friendly staff. Good food. (The lunchtime burger is delicious and the breakfasts are delightful). The location is pretty. My room looked out over a lake. This isn't a fancy hotel but they do all the essential things well. Room was clean, warm and everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. Wifi was free and speed was fine for my work requirements.

The Hotel is ok, clean etc. The restaurant offers a small menu card and high prices. Danish meals in hotels often have the meat (or fish) as main item and oh yeah I see some vegetables there also. In this rest. they do not serve soup, only one vegetable dish with no description... So the restaurant is sub-standard to Dutch normal standards

Checked into this hotel at about 22.30hrs after a long day. I was greeted by the reception staff like a long lost friend, made to feel really welcome. Asked if I could get a sandwich, no problem was the reply. Asked for Ham & Cheese, receptions offered to have it sent to my room but as I was pretty close said I would come back for it. Dumped my bags and picked up the sandwich which looked great. Took it back to my room and found that the top and centre of the sandwich was great but the half of the roll on the bottom was wet? was it from the salad or had it been laying around for a couple of hours, I don't know but I was so hungry I ate the top and filling. Great nights sleep, lovely rooms and soft beds. Had breakfast the following morning which was perfect. Receptionist was very kind in looking after my bag whilst I visited the exhibition centre across the road. All in all would stay again.

we stayed there only for one night, but we were very satisfied. Room were clean, bed comfortable, service good and brekfast was really delicious. you could chose between like hundred posibilities in the buffet. strrongly recomended

I've stayed here a couple of times. The hotel and rooms are fine. What sells this hotel is the restaurant. Had steak here twice and it was really good. Nice wine list also. I'd recommend it for a short stay. Not sure I'd spend a week here :)

Stayed as a family of 4. Excellent service from staffs. Friendly and helpful at the reception. Best effort from the staff running the restuarant. Breakfast seems a little chaotic at times, tables are not cleared fast enough leafing to guests having to wait. Plates and glasses running out leading to more wait... But the staff maintained an excellent attitude given the clear short handedness they face. The dinner at the restaurant is surprising very good and real value for money. Prices for Kids meals are very fair and comes in good portions. The hotel is very convenient for family and also handicapped guest. Room is clean and spacious. Will love to give a 5 rating with the exception of me finding a #$*dom wrapping under my overmaddress behind my pillow on the first night, therefore a max 4 rating. Al.

I stay in this hotel several times per year. The rooms are good quality and recently renovated. The service is high level and the restaurant serves high quality food. I recommend this place to all visitors in Fredericia especially if attending exhibitions which are held just other side of the street. There is one km distance to city center but this should not be an issue.

This is ideally located for attending trade fairs at the nearby exhibition centre, being within walking distance. Rooms facing the garden are quiet and the restaurant has a reasonable selection of grilled meat and a fish option; good value for money. A friendly hotel with a family atmosphere.

Arrived after a long drive from Copenhagen airport. Quick check in all details correct, room modern, clean and comfortable. Really pleasant people, meal in the restaurant was excellent, good breakfast and check out.
