Tyrstrup Kro, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

We were not sure what to expect but really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The rooms were comfortable and the restaurant dinner was very nice. Fantastic staff.

The property owned by a former marine cook, invites all clients to relax and enjoy of the nice décor, spacious rooms, and large green surroundings. It is in fact a gem, in -Christiansfeld. The attention dose not stop there. The restaurant is well decorated, and dishes offered are unique, tasteful setting and excellent dishes to enjoy a marvelous dinner. Wine menu is large and international. We really enjoy it. Excellent service and attention!

We arrived a Group of 7 for dinner at this classic danish hotel, but already at first entrance we felt like , the booking should have been other place, The staff was un attentive, but finally we get to order, the wiener schnitzel is classic served, but just a small thing like asking for bearnaise sauce added wasnt possible, like the Writer Said, we do not serve that sauce with a wienerschnitzel 🤷‍♂️ We had asked for a bortlede of Flor de Pingus, and halt Way thru the dinner a price on that arrived, a bit late, as we already had picked another Wine

picturesque historical kro with friendly, professional staff and really great dishes (4 course gourmetmenue) way above (high) expectations. restaurant fully packed on a regular wednesday - obviously the kro is appreciated by the locals. excellent price-quality ratio.

I visited Tyrstrup Kro for the 8 course tasting menu. It was an amazing experience and to be highly recommended. The hospitality was outstanding and we were waited on hand and foot. We allowed the waiter, who was very young, to suggest 2 wines for us - a white and a red, and they were both delicious and went really well with the courses we had. Bearing in mind that the a la carte menu appears very simple and typical of an Inn, the tasting menu is high end cuisine, inventive, modern and exceptional. Even when half way through it transpired that the next course but one was not to my liking or that of my friend, the chef came out and made inquiries about what we liked and without any effort produced another dish for us, which was delicious and did not appear to have been put together in a hurry. Very well done. Well worth a visit.

We har a gourmet stay in this old inn with long history. Room had good quality and enough space, and s spa. The staff was kind and service minded. We selected the dinner with 4 dishes and wine menu, and it was fine compared to the price and clearly above nortmal level for a Danish inn. Don't expect michelin level. Overall we had a nice stay although temperature was a bit high for me both in restaurent and in room.
