Clean, immaculate hotel. And less than most, at $100. Our room (322) faced the back pool area. Didn't get to use the pool but it was beautiful. Breakfast was very good with hot food, as well as waffles, pancakes, and the regular continental fare. The breakfast attendant was friendly and helped my husband carry his food to the table! Our main issue was the TV remote. We always have trouble getting them to work. This one's battery was not good so the front desk girl replaced it but then we couldn't figure out how to turn the channels. It was a simple remote, but it wasn't working correctly. My only suggestion would be to have instructions about how to use the remote (for older people lol)
Nice hotel. Great location and very affordable. Staff are super. Good is great and it's spotless. Great place. Parking is easy Near everything and is easy to find. Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool is really refreshing and great Highly recommended.
Great Staff! I can't say enough good things! Amazing stay! I'll be back. I earned points, met stellar staff and I'll be back to visit soon. Thanks to Sam, Sarina & Neil & all staffers! Clean, comfy and just pleasant experience. Sincere thanks! Roger
Good hotel nice and new the breakfast staff is the real weakness here for example fridge empty of yogurt for 15' without reaction same for the eagles and pancake machine, this run out of product in the middle of the breakfast time for at least 10' before was replaced
Great people. Bad pillows. Nice pool. Breakfast is great. Good variety Hard to sleep here though. First 3 nights was like a porno next door, walls thin. Was moved near entrance door and it's in and out all night long. Hoping not drug related but it's constant. Don't get me wrong, I extended as I feel safer here than other spots. But noisy for me. 🤷🏼♂️🤦♂️ Anita, Sarina, Neil all great people! That's important as my new Jaguar caught on fire near hotel. I'm stranded temporarily. I found a gem. And will return.
Great location. The staff Anita and Amelia are phenomenal. The hotel is always clean and smells fresh
The Hotel is really good, the rooms are spacious and had all that you need for a two nights stay. It was also very clean. The breakfast is what you expect. It also had a small pool that is ok if you need a quick cooldown. A car is a must since it is a bit outside of the center.
This hotel was friendly, most importantly clean, breakfast was fast and easy to start our day of house hunting. Close to the beaches also
We enjoyed our accommodations. The staff is kind and professional. The hotel is beautiful, clean and breakfast was great!
Had to cancel our vacation to Spring Training because of a medical emergency. Inadvertently chose a nonrefundable reservation. Why Best Western offers this type of reservation with a mere $10 discount is beyond me. The staff stonewalled me and the manager was unavailable even though I was told she would be in the next day three days in a row. I left my number three times but she ghosted me to this day. BEWARE
great time with family. got to visit my daughter and celibrate my sisters birthday. weather was wonderful too will stay here again. nice breakfast lady and good coffee. i do not wake up early so breakfast could last longer.
Rude staff beginning at check in. Stingy with towels & dont want to give you more: Only 1 set for 1 person to shower. Housekeeping beat on my door at 9am for no reason explained to me. Breakfast was discusting even though it was included with the room!
We stayed here due to proximity to Lee Hospital. Other locations to hospital did not appear safe (undesirables, etc). This room was noisy, smelled like wet dog, a/c was difficult to regulate, carpet seemed gross. Didn't have breakfast, but looked like a good variety.
Overpriced, but good location and a nice view from the balcony. Roomy, decent amenities, basic "full" breakfast was ok. Loud (outside noises), and the bed/bedding should be way more comfortable for the price.
Hotel was clean, safe, and quiet. There were multiple options for breakfast and bonus points for the tv having a sleep timer. The gym had free weights, elliptical, treadmill, and a stationary bike as well as other machines.
Outstanding Hotel. Beautifully redecorated rooms & hotel, spacious, large window, desk, wifi, refrigerator, microwave, clean, professional staff, best free breakfast of all hotels traveling 2,600 miles in 7 days. This stay was for hurricane evacuation, and it would be a great place for a vacation.
Great accommodations, friendly helpful staff, nice pool, delicious breakfast bar. Would definitely recommend for business or a nice relaxed family vacation! Nice restaurants and shopping nearby. The Murder Mystery Dinner train is also nearby and was fun!
The room was spacious, clean and hotel was reasonably priced. It was an easy access to highways and restaurants. Dining area was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area or just passing through.
Always Good but not so great. I really do appreciate how predictably good things are at the Best Western. For the most part, for the cost, it's always worth it. The staff were great and the other services were good. I would recommend it for sure.
The room wasn't clean. Poop traces on the toilet seat, beard in the sink and it smelled cigarette very strongly in the room and the pillows was smelling very bad too. Nobody was there to clean so we asked for cleaning stuff and did it ourselves. The lady at the reception was very kind but she had too much to deal with that's why we cleaned it. People are nice, kind and sympathetic but cleanliness is a top priority when I stay at an Hotel and you fail that part.
The hotel is directly in the flight path of Page Field airport, although they are small planes when they fly over the pool its VERY LOUD. The carpets need to be cleaned the breakfast is basically the same everyday and if you are diabetic there are not choices.
We stayed 2 nights at the Best Western in Fort Myers. We took a boat to Key West and had a great time. The hotel was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. We never stay anyplace but Best Western. Love accumulating points for future free and discounted stays. The beds are what do it for us. They are like sleeping in our own bed at home.
Bed bugs were in the bed I recorded them and went to the front desks the first person was great and moved us manager was rude and asked how he knew it was his hotel in the video when his employee saw the video and went up to the room with me
The rooms and everything were cleaned. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, internet service very fast. I recommend everyone to choose Best Western INN at Fort Myers Florida. Don't just take me word for word, go see for yourself.
Had an early Dr. appointment in town, so stayed here to make it easier. Close & convenient to everything, place was clean and staff was friendly. Have actually stayed again for another dr. appointment. Doesn't disappoint
The room was very neat Breakfast was great Staff is very nice Any time I am back in town this will be my spot Great location Public area keep neat nice view I was able to watch the Sun set and sun rise from my room. I enjoy my get a way because I stay at Best Western. Ohhhh if you are very allergic like me don't worry smoke free through out the entire hotel in or outside and dust free. My biggest pet peeves is dust and even the ac unit was dust free. Thank you for maintaining a dust free ac vent.
I sayed here for one night in June. I was supossed to stay for four nights but I checked out after the first. In the middle of the night when I went to the bathroom, there were ants everywhere. I contacted the night clerk who told me they know there is a problem, but the exterminator wasn't coming for another two days. I asked to change to another room but was told they were booked completely. I asked for a refund and was told somebody named Serina would never refund anybody. We stayed until morning and went to breakfast. Guess what... there were ants on the counter next to and on the food. We checked out immediately.
My partner and I made this reservation several months before our date of arrival. A couple of weeks before our arrival, we called the property itself and requested a room on a higher floor, with a balcony, so that we could view the fireworks without leaving the comfort of our room. We were assured that our request would be honored. Upon checking in, we were assigned a first floor room with a small patio that afforded absolutely no privacy whatsoever, and not much of a river view either. Neither was the room particularly clean, carpeting in Florida is always iffy; and this carpet was so nasty that I couldn't walk on it barefooted. In general, I found the housekeeping to be lax. The worst problem was the plumbing; the commode required at least three flushes to empty and the sink didn't drain properly……it nearly overflowed while we brushed our teeth and while my companion shaved. The doors opened directly to the outside and not to a corridor, and the door itself had a relatively good size hole at the bottom of it. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were fine, the towels were fluffy, but all in all not one of Best Western‘s better hotels. We probably would not stay again.
This hotel seems to have been recently redone. Everything was clean and appeared relatively new. The breakfast was very good with many options. Indoor seating was a little tight but there is a nice outdoor option weather permitting. The room we stayed in could have used a little more lighting and was a little small but overall adequate, although it could start to feel cramped if you are staying for an extended period
If you consider, like, appreciate or need sleep, don't chose Best Western. I came with my son to a baseball tournament here in Ft. Myers and stayed at this hotel. The bed is probably to hard for prison and the tiny pillows are mush. Never again. I will spend less and sleep. Ps. When I asked for a refund, the receptionist stated, "I've had other people stay in that room and no ones complained". That's the problem, they everyone the same. Just like prison.
Very nice hotel with clean rooms, hallways and elevators. Parking area should be increased but overall a good amount of spots. Breakfast was excellent with well cooked food and open area. Pool was also very clean and hotel staff were very sociable. Will definitely use again if in the area.
We stayed at this Best Western location overnight on our way to the Keys on the Key West Express. They really should change the name and remove the word "resort;" to be a resort, you need amenities such as a bar or restaurant, a large pool with a jacuzzi, or even spa services, none of which this hotel had to offer. It was just another old-style beach hotel. The staff were very courteous when we checked in. The rooms were ok, but the AC was so loud it kept us up most of the night. The shower head in the tub was totally outdated as was the tub which had not been resurfaced after what appears to be a remodel and it showed. The caulk around the tub definitely needed work. The walkways to the rooms were very narrow and the property did not feel very secure. The sliders on the patio were worn as well. The only redemption was the view, which for one night's stay, we could deal with.
This hotel is not for long stays. Safety was a concern, back door was never locked and random males were in the back parking lot. Ants were a constant at the sink. No room cleaning service was every offered. Forfeit 3 night stay to get out.
Very clean rooms, delicious breakfast, spotless, plenty of food available, worker on hand cleaning up any spills and helping out if you need it. Pool was spotless. The pool area had plenty of lounges, chairs, and tables. Ample parking. Luggage carts to help with your baggage. Excellent Wi-Fi. Very friendly front desk and helpful. The chambermaids were very friendly and helpful. Very clean Hotel.
Stayed for 11 days had breakfast for 11 days great service and food.. Pool was in sun from noon on. The room service was excellent. The only thing missing was a scale to weigh luggage before going to airport. It was sure better than going to condo..
My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel. The breakfast was great and we were able to get coffee and tea 24/7. The rooms were very clean and the staff exceptionally pleasant and helpful. We used both the fitness room and the pool and were not disappointed. The hotel is not new but it is very well maintained.
This property needs TLC. Rooms are dated. Definitely not the Hilton. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Not many places to sit especially if it is raining. Carpet in the hallway was badly stained. Keep looking if you are thinking of staying here.
Would not recommend. Our room smelt so awful like mildew and smoke. When I brought it up to the front desk and asked to change rooms they handed me room spray which didn't do a thing. In addition to the nasty smell, the beds and pillows were worn and uncomfortable as was the bedding. Everything was very dated. Take your money elsewhere!
The outside and entrance are very nice. The rooms are in need of an update. It needs lots of remodeling....Breakfast was basic, nothing fancy. I would stay at a Holiday Inn Express....much better breakfast and very updated facilities.
The Best Western in Fort Myers was a nice, clean place to stay. We were in town for business and needed a place where we could access most of Southwest Florida. The rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly.
Ew! Outside looks fine. We were told masks and gloves are required to eat breakfast. This is end up f February 2022 and the mild Omicron is even waning out now. Ridiculous! But the worst is the old musty, moldy, stinky, damp rooms… And the price…$350 a night!!! Robbery! I swear. I'm appalled and disgusted.
Clean room and common areas. Friendly staff, easy to check in and out. Did not use breakfast because of meeting, but appeared to be a variety of foods. Coffee was good. Plenty of hot water!! Ample parking places.
stayed here for a few days while in fort meyers. place was easy to find. easy check in and check out. staff polite and friendly. very helpful. place was clean. rooms were good. beds were comfortable. nice variety of breakfast foods each morning. eating area was clean. we enjoyed our stay and would go back. pool area was clean and nice.
We had a wonderful time in this hotel. Breakfast was great, hot eggs bacon, etc. Hotel was clean as well as the rooms. The pool was cooler than I would have liked it to be. I would stay here again. Wonderful people.
we stayed here for a short getaway. place was easy to find. easy to check in and out. staff very friendly and helpful. breakfast area very clean and nice spread for breakfast. pool area clean. rooms were clean. beds comfortable nice selection of pillows.
This hotel was extremely clean and all the employees were very friendly and helpful, especially Soheir, Samantha, Anita and Jerry. Great free breakfast, everything was in good working order, internet was fast with no issues. I did not use the pool, however I did test the water temperature and it was nice and warm. Fitness center and guest laundry on site. Will definitely stay here again.
This place decided to hire the rudest lady in town. Please stay away, they do not know how to treat people. She does not greet guests, does not say please or thank you. Very very unprofessional. Has an evil face.
When it all came down to it, check out was not pleasant at all. I could not understand why I was charged double for my room. She explained that she refunded my money and then charged me 2x to get it back and then charge me for the room. I am not happy and now I have to take that to my manager and try to explain that someone on your side made a huge mistake! Hoping I do not loose my JOB over this mistake! Also, the room needs better lighting and some room freshener. I needed to be working but not enough light to see.
We have stayed at this particular BW 4 different times this past year. It has been consecutive in its cleanliness. The breakfast is a good start to your day. Staff is very friendly. Easy check in and check out. Front desk personnel is very efficient and friendly. Will definitely stay here again when on the area.
Stay was NEARLY fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Valve in the shower was broken, which made for a very cold shower in the morning, but otherwise the stay was nice. Comfortable bed, polite staff.
Front desk lady was super sweet. The actual hotel was clean. Three housekeepers were outside the room on the morning talking loudly. Even when I stepped out of my room the stayed looking at their phones and listening to music loudly. We had to find somewhere last minute and all the cheaper hotels were booked. So we spent $200+ for some sleep. I get it was our fault but a bit excessive. There was also a lady at breakfast that followed us around and would reach over us to get trash or fill the condiments. And she did this to others as well.
Very difficult to shower. And then comes house keeping. Clean your room every 3 day. I don't mean change the sheets every day, I mean no made bed. Towels and garbage not picked up. No clean towels without going to the desk in the lobby. The room was clean when I arrived. The hotel is clean overall. Breakfast was nothing special.
I only have great things to say about this hotel that my company, so kindly booked for my 3 day stay in Fort Myers. My room was very comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped. Great linens, pillows and did I say clean again? I left a good tip for the cleaning ladies because they are doing a great job! The Belgian waffles at the “Included Breakfast” buffet were so good that I'm finding myself craving for them. Soheir, the breakfast area assistant was very friendly and enforced the hygiene rules to ensure the area's safety and cleanliness. There was a rude guest that did not want to comply with the establishments rules and she handled it like a queen. The man was rude to her and very selfish towards the rest of the guests , threatening her to call “the governor”. The guest was asked to leave the breakfast area and showed his poor values, education and character. The Hotel is safe, comfortable and very clean. This will be my hotel every time I go for business or with my family. The front desk people are friendly, helpful and so pleasant and polite. Great Stay! Thank you!
Phone was stolen, Asked to use there phone or for them to call me a taxi or the airport to cancel my flight!!! They would not, BASICALLY KICKED ME OUT ON THE STREETS!!! Had to walk over an hr with my luggage to get to the bust station. Finally made it to the airport and missed my flight so i had to buy new tickets to get home!!! Most unprofessional place ever!!! No courtesy at all cant believe they treat paying customers like that!!!! Never, never again!!!!
My stay at this Best Western was terrific. Clean rooms, great breakfast, pool was great, everything worked and most important, the staff was friendly, courteous and energetic. Would definitely stay there again.
I must say that that our room was clean and good, with a convenient location. That being said, I realize that within the past 18 months there was a period where, if someone stayed multiple nights in a motel/hotel, housekeeping did not enter or even replace towels for the duration of the stay. However, during our week in Florida, this was the only location that still does not make the beds or even check if towels needed to be replaced during our multiple day stay. There seemed to be a disconcerting paranoia about COVID that we found nowhere else in Florida. Management was apologetic about my one complaint about the issue while on premises and I understand that COVID is a concern, but there at least should have been signs explaining their procedures.
The woman that answered the phone, check us in & Checked us out. Was very nice and Friendly, great person to work with people. I think Best Western is lucky to have her. I wish i knew her name, i looked on my receipts and it isn't there either but after the date and time it has SSS, so i don't know if that might be her initials. All i know is that she made our terrible few days much brighter. She also suggested a really good Restaurant right near the Hotel, Miller's Ale House the food and service where wonderful. I plan on going back to this Best Western in December 2021.
Staff is very helpful and accommodating which helps make up for hard beds, mediocre rooms and lacking daily breakfast. Very noisy while trying to sleep as well with hall waý doors slamming throughout the night.
The room was so comfortable. I will definitely stay again because I slept really well. It was clean and neat. Definitely sanitized and the bed was very comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice room to stay in
I believe best western sets the standard in the industry you can always expect a clean comfortable room. You can always expect courteous and above average service by all of their employees. You can always expect fair pricing And they always offer discount pricing and coupons which always makes me feel like I got a good deal. Definitely loyal to this hotel chain
exercise equipment was not working. Required masks without prior booking notification which is entirely unacceptable. Our family prioritizes health and we won't wear a mask that studies show harms children. Hotel withheld hot breakfast food items with invalid excuse. Will not stay here again.
The hotel is really modern and clean. The check in clerk was extremely polite and friendly. I checked in early and thanked me for being an Elite member, gave me my free drinks, explained me about breakfast and facility promptly. The rest of the staff was in the lobby and everyone was super friendly. The room was very clean and modern, nicely decorated, did not smell and was not humid at all. The matresses and bedding were comfy and luxury looking, everything seemed to be new and clean. Breakfast was really nice too with lots of options. The beach is about 25 minutes, and I preferred this location because it is quieter. I felt safe here, many cameras around the property and grounds well kept. Thank you!!!
We checked in on Monday night to get a good night sleep before knee surgery next morning. Lady at the desk knee this so she put me in a room two doors down from the elevator so I would not have to walk far, considerate. Room was spotless, bed was really comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Got a great rest and good location to eateries near by. Would stay again.
From the beaches to the restaurants, we feel your location is the best. Its so easy to get to places. Besides your staff from making the reservations to the hospitality of your staff we were very pleased with everything.
upon check in we were told that mask were required, however when asked if they had a mask (because we did not) hotel staff told informed us that they would sell us one for $2. Crazy, right? I have worked in the hospitality for 12 years, and would never treat a guest they way we were treated. After swimming, a storm rolled in and we were trying to get to our room, as we entered the back door, the guy at the front desk come storming around the lobby, telling us that we needed to put a mask on or leave. when asked to provide one, we were again told that we could buy one for $2. I did contact Best Western, and rather then the manager calling to apologize , she called me to say that due to the cost of mask (.40 cent each) and that if they give one to me, then they have to give one to everyone! are you kidding me? if you require it, then provide it!
Very pleased with our stay. Good location, good service, very clean. Check in and check out was very quick and easy. The young woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Very enjoyable experience. We have stayed here multiple times and each time we had the same experience. We definitely will be returning!
Very nice staff. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They had a pretty decent breakfast despite Covid. They had breakfast sandwiches, muffins, yogurt, juice and coffee, and the waffle machine was open. Definitely recommend.
This was our first trip since December, 2019. Like most people, we stopped travelling because of Covid. But we just got our last vaccine and were ready to venture out. This is a lovely property. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. The lobby is nicely appointed and very warm and welcoming. But where they really excelled was in protected themselves and their guests from contracting the virus. There was more than adequate protection at the front desk, reminders everywhere of distancing and wearing a mask and hand sanitizer everywhere. The rooms had never opened tissue and toilet paper and everything had been sanitized long before we arrived. We actually got a hot breakfast to go and optional waffles for those who wanted them. You could take them to your room or take out. It was pretty amazing. We are really happy we chose this hotel.
We were there for a baseball tournament. The hotel was very good and reasonably priced. Due to Covid-19, there was no breakfast except for some light snacks left out on a table. But this was not the hotel's fault. I would stay here again without a doubt.
Nice hotel for the money. Best Western does a great job of providing value for its customers! Nice location in Fort Myers area. Had the pool mostly to ourselves. Had just been cleaned/repaired. Staff very helpful and courteous.
We were very pleased during our stay. Location was perfect. Room was very cleaned. Bed was very comfortable. We could not enjoy the continental breakfast due to covid 19. They were still nice enough to provide a grab and go breakfast bag. Will definitely recommend to others.
Even amid the COVID restrictions, this property was able to provide a pleasant night for this weary traveler. The room was a bit small, but fully featured and comfortable and cozy, rather than being cramped.
Traveling during a pandemic is scary but this hotel by far exceeds the cleanliness of any hotel I've stayed at in the last 6 months! The front desk to the rooms! Kudos to your staff! Every safety precaution is observed and then some!
There for just an overnight trip to the area. Hotel was not crowded, most likely due to the Covid Situation. Hotel is located in a somewhat industrial area, but a quick trip to in your car to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to enter hotel off roadway, There are a couple of places within walking distance. Ample parking and clean exterior. Lobby clean and observant of cleaning practices due to the virus. Breakfast area closed; breakfast was a prepacked grab and go, but by 10am, there seemed to be nothing available, so I cannot offer an opinion. Rooms were spacious, seemed recently upgraded. Beds comfortable (firm) with ample pillows. WiFi excellent. Rooms were somewhat quiet; did hear the neighbors in the hallway once, but it quickly quieted once they entered their room. Sink area outside of bathroom. Bathroom had a tub with plenty of hot water, shower head high (I'm 5'10”) but may need changing as seemed a bit clogged (hard water build up?). Room had coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave. Desk area, ample drawers and a good sized closet. Room was clean, however there was a full pack of M&M's on the top shelf of the closet, so I have to be honest & wondered why that wasn't caught when they cleaned the room? (Ps. We left it in there) Staff were extremely friendly and made you feel like a priority. Kudos to their customer service practices. Overall, a nice stay and a place I would absolutely consider staying at again.
Best Western was awesome and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room were very clean and fresh also they had very friendly service. I didn't have to wait a long time for my room key and all the information I needed to know they were more than helpful.
We were in town for a baseball tournament. This hotel is centrally located, with easy access. Plus there are nearby restaurants and bars. We had a king bed room. Was quite comfortable. Nice options for breakfast (at that time). Smaller pool area compared to others, but was fenced in.
No complaints here. We only stayed one night. The room was up to date and clean. The location was very convenient for us. The bed was comfortable and a nice TV. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Very warm welcome. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Good quaity of breakfast service , room very clean, possibility to stay outside close by the pool. Checking easy. Internet at top Rooms clean and comfortable
The staff were great, the breakfast was hot, the room was clean and tidy, checkin and checkout were easy and uneventful, overall one of the best, Best Westerns that I have ever stayed in. The only downside was the cost, but you get what you pay for.
Lovely room with lots of space to open your suitcases. Clean, Friendly staff, good breakfast with lots of choices in morning, I would stay here again while visiting friends in North Fort Myers, even though it's a further drive away. Very safe neighborhood by the River!
Hotel was easy to get to, beds were comfy and staff was kind and quick to help. Only drawback was a VERY strong fragrance when you entered the building. Drives to the beach were short and sweet. Front desk offered us a to go breakfast on a morning we needed to leave before breakfast was available.
I get unhappy when a maid tells me that we need to get out of the room so she can clean it when we have been gone all day. I would not recommend this hotel. It is NOT new a new facility and in my opinion there are better options nearby.
I arrived earlier than expected in Fort Myers from New Jersey on business and was extremely tired and unfamiliar with the area. I tried to kill as much time as possible but was very much in need of rest. I took a chance that the front desk could check me in a few hours early and the young lady was very understanding and polite. I was very grateful to be able to lay in a comfortable bed when I was preparing myself to nap in the hotel parking lot. I found all amenities to be well above average and all staff professional and polite. I would definitely go back.
We spent four nights at this hotel and we were very happy with the accommodations. The good experience started at check-in. We arrived before the 3 pm check-in so we weren't sure we would be able to check-in. However they had one room that was ready and they accommodated us. Our king room was very clean and nicely appointed. The sink was outside the tub and toilet area which is always a plus. We were on the 4th floor and we did not have any noise from the rooms on either side of us. Occasionally you could hear a little hallway noise through the door. Overall it was very quiet. The hallways were lit and very clean. The pool area was a nice size and very clean. Plenty of chairs and chaise lounges to relax. There is citrus water, coffee and tea in the lobby at all times. Breakfast is the usual Best Western fare. Everything was warm and nicely presented. There is a nice large room with plenty of tables to eat. This hotel is conveniently located close to 75 and the major streets in the city. Short drive to Sanibel / Captiva and Ft Myers Beach. The parking lot is very brightly lit. The lobby smells like Hawaii. Every time you enter you are greeted with a pleasing tropical aroma. It is quite welcoming.
We arrived at this hotel yesterday and I have to say they haveexcellent service, at an excellent price, a Beautiful pool, there complimentary breakfast is very good. This hotel is very clean and very very attentive to customers needs I will come back here whenever I'm in the area.
The rooms are quite dated and the cleaning staff does not do a great job. It would have been nice if the cleaning staff replaced items throughout our 3 night stay. Hotel front desk staff is truly amazing, particularly Jeff! We were okay with the location.
We stayed here for a baseball tournament. We've been to many travel baseball tournaments. This hotel by far has been the cleanest. It smelled so good as well. The staff, specially Ivan, was very polite and professional. Overall, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the customer service. Will definitely stay here again!!!
This Best Western was located at the outskirts of an industrial park which was great because as long as you were in a room behind the hotel it was very quiet. Everyone was totally friendly, especially Sahir the breakfast attendant who was quick to say good morning everyday and engaged us and some very pleasant conversation. She was very efficient in keeping everything well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the healthy choices on the breakfast buffet. A bonus was that the coffee was excellent.
Always always a nice day, check-in clerks are always knowledgeable and helpful. Never have had any problems in the last 2 years and always enjoy your stay. Beaches are close by and lots of shopping. Ford Edison estate was a great trip.
Stayed at this recently remodeled hotel for four days in January 2020 in a king suite. I thought the staff was friendly and accommodating, the hotel room was very clean and the outdoor pool area was nice. I gave it a 4-star rather than 5-star rating for three reasons: First, the air conditioner is right next to the bed and it runs loud. Second, the windows open (which I like) but they don't have screens, no bugs in south Florida? And third, the walls are thin. Our room was at the end of the second floor, so not a lot of neighbors, but someone's clock alarm went off at 5am, ran continuously for about 10-15 minutes (they must have left the room), so that was the end of our sleep that morning. I would definitely stay here again because it's fairly priced, rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable, and staff is friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk and in the breakfast area (SoHeir made sure the hot food was fresh and always plentiful).
I am glad my daughter picked this location I really enjoyed the stay at the hotel it was very clean, and the staff were very friendly especially Soheir she was very nice and welcoming every morning. I am definitely going back again .
Location was easily accessible and parking lot was clean and well lit. Lobby was clean and check in was easy. Staff was friendly and offered express check out as well as a reminder of the breakfast. Room was clean. some areas around the ceiling of the shower showed signs of wear. perfect for the two nights we stayed.
Hotel was generally clean & Soheir who is in charge of the breakfast buffet was very friendly and kept the buffet area very clean. Friendly desk staff as well. They were able to assist us with all our requests
First night allocated Room 103. Road noise and noisy neighbours resulted in very poor nights sleep. Thankfully moved to Room 325 at rear of hotel however for the remainder of our stay you could hear toilets flushing and noise from other rooms. Found hotel very clean, good breakfast although on one occasion could not get a seat in the small breakfast room.
We arrived and the hotel has recently been decorated and everything was clean and fresh. Check in was quick and polite. Our room was a large king room and was again newly decorated and clean and fresh. Room had a desk, chair, comfy chair with foot rest coffee machine, micro and fridge. Bed was large and comfy. There was lots of storage too. Shower was hot and powerfull and housekeeping came in daily to restock the towels etc. On the back of the door in the room they advertise a safety deposit box at reception for gou to use but they dont have them.(this was my only negative point for the hotel). The breakfast room is small but the breakfast was really good. They have the usual toast, muffins, yogurts, cereal, juices, coffee but also had waffles, biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs, bacon and sausage patties. All in all,a great hotel for the price.
I have now stayed at the Best Western on Ford Street for about 5 years. It is clean inside and out, and the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good. The hotel is in a convenient location as well
Soheir makes the best eggs/breakfast. A large selection of food. Ivan is a very kind and efficient desk clerk. He will do everything to make your stay a great one. The towels are sooooo soft! It was a nice surprise.
We arrived late at night on the first and last nights of our trip (two separate nights) and loved this hotel - it's clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. There's a fantastic breakfast and the staff person at breakfast, named Solteir, was terrific -- she made sure the food was fresh and she went the extra mile to ensure the room was tidy and well-stocked and that we were happy. She made it feel cosy and comfortable and helped us when we had questions. Thanks to Soltier and to Ivan and to the staff person (woman) who worked Nov. 29 morning. All the staff at Best Western Fort Myers on Ford Street were great.
This hotel was trendy, extremely comfortable & clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. It was a very pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious, beds looked and felt lovely, bathrooms had all the amenties as well as plenty of soft towels.
Arrived at this Best Western two hours before check in; Ivan was super friendly and nice, and told me they'd have a room in 30 minutes. And what a nice King room it was, on the first floor. Serena gave me directions that the locals used to the Key West Ferry as well as a good recommendation for a local pizza place, Grimaldis. Pizza was excellent and as a first time customer, I received a free dessert. Best Western typically gives their rewards clients either a welcome goody bag or extra bonus points, but this location gave you both. Since I had to leave before dawn to make the ferry, the staff packed a to-go breakfast bag for me.
What an enjoyable stay! We came to visit an ill family member and stayed 3 nights. From the front desk to the housekeeping, the service was great! Very comfortable rooms/beds, loved the hot breakfast choices and heated salt water pool!
Attended this hotel during the hurricane here in Florida the Cat 5 that hit the Bahamas. Reserved a two-night stay, ended up staying only one night. Good hotel very clean room was lovely but they took all of the money for two nights stay and did not return my money instantly when I checked out after only one night . Bad policy. I've already written to hotel management and never got a response. Be careful when booking. No AARP discount.
Went online and booked a room for one night. I'm a veteran and a rewards member. Me and my wife were meeting some friends in Ft Myers (lee county) to go on a dinner mystery murder train ride and booked a room at Best Western Fort Myers Inn & Suites because we were gonna have drinks as well on the train and didn't want to drive back 40 mins to Naples (collier county). So we decided to check in before the train ride so we could by pass that when we were done with the train ride and dinner.I go up to the check in desk and tell the guy we have a reservation and would like to check in.He ask me for my drivers licence and credit card which I give him. He then ask me to state my business in Ft Myers and why I need the room.I found this a very strange question. I told him that my wife and I were going on the dinner train and didn't want to drive back to Naples later. He gives me back my licence and card then says he cant rent me the room. I was shocked by this statement and in disbelief. I said what do you mean you cant rent me a room. At first I thought they must have some beef with the dinner train ppl. He proceeds to tell me that they don't rent to locals. I've never heard anything like this in my life. So the next thing I said is i'm not a local that i live in Naples which is a totally different city and county. Then he tells me they don't rent to anyone in collier or lee county. So i'm like how is someone supposed to know this? He says well its on the web site. I never saw anything on there web site when I booked and the next day I went on the site to check again and there is absolutely nothing that states that. I never write reviews but I just had to share my story cause Im still in disbelief this happened to me and my wife. I did speak to the manager the next day and he said that it is that hotels policy but some exception do get made on a case by case basis. Sounds discriminatory to me. But he said if he had been working he would have made the exception. The reason they have the policy is to keep drugs and prostitution down in the area. So that makes me think......did the guy think I was a druggie? Was my wife a prostitute? Or was I just both? Truly amazing!!
The service here was amazing and the caring staff was awesome. This establishment was very clean inside as well as outside. The view from my window gave me a calm feeling which was what I needed on this trip. I will surely be staying here again
We decided not to ride out the hurricane. You always know what to expect when you stay in a Best Western. Always clean, good breakfast, reasonable price. Bars & restaurants in walking distance. Nice pool area
This hotel is less than the normal Best Western. Upon check-in, at about midnight, there were up to six guys hanging around outside, some smoking, others wandering around the parking lot, which made us uncomfortable leaving our car there and walking in. Management told us they were "construction folks", but midnight on a Friday night? Usually they'd go home on the weekend, or be sleeping getting ready to work Saturday! Also, the room was noisy, with traffic and LOUD toilet flushing from adjacent rooms (air pressure type toilets), and no option to run the room fan constantly to help drown out the noises.
Very nice modern clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Traveled to visit a local college with my son. He enjoyed the exercise room. We both enjoyed the pool. I will stay here again when I come back to Fort Myers.
The cleaning staff and the maids wood terrible the room was never vacuum I complain to the front desk and most important none of them spoke English it would have been very helpful therefore after 6 years I may not return to Best Western unless there are changes
The staff was superb and the room was nice. The bed was too soft but since it was just one night it was okay. The little chiclets that are acting like bed pillows are very uncomfortable and need to go away. We were not sure what the terrible odor was in the lobby but someone should address that quickly-
This hotel is well situated with restaurants and shops within easy reach. Friendly helpful staff. Room 327 for two nights, right at the end of the 3rd floor corridor, hardly any traffic noise and well away from the elevators. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower worked well. Supplied toiletries smelled like coconut and were very pleasant. Breakfast was included in our price and this included hot and cold foods. It is unlikely we will visit Fort Myers again but if we did we would stop here again, at $89 a night its good value.
Great rate and top notch quality. I was met with a big smile and a Welcome.rooms super clean and comfy beds. It was like staying at a Hilton. Very happy camper here. I recommend this place to all travelers!
We stayed at Best Western in Ft.myers in early April 2019. My niece Larisa was getting married and she lives in nearby Cape coral. The place was was conviently located between Downtown River District and Cape coral. The check in process was taken care of fairly easy since we are reward members. We had 2 rooms on the 4th floor. Clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast at the hotel was awesome. Lots of varieties of food to enjoy. There was seating by the pool available to enjoy your morning coffee. The pool was clean and heated. Overall we enjoyed our time here. Definitely would recommend.
Everything at this hotel was very well run and kept. Breakfast was outstanding, overall experience was great. Staff was friendly and attentive overall. Will plan to stay at this hotel again next year.
We stayed for one night after a long flight delay and unwanted destination change. Our middle of the night check in was easy and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was standard offerings with waffle maker, hot eggs, sausage, breads, pastries, yogurt and fruit. The gym was very small with a treadmill, elliptical, bike and weight set. I was the only one in there and it was fine. There was a small outdoor pool and patio but we did not swim. It was very good for our unplanned overnight stay.
I spent one night at this hotel. I came for a meeting with other attendees who traveled with me. The rooms were clean but in my room the air conditioner did not work properly making it a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, there was so much noise from the window cleaners. It was really very distracting and I could not rest comfortably before the meeting. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is so easy to access restaurants in walking distance and the function was close by. The other attendees were very satisfied. We were very satisfied with the variety at the breakfast bar. This hotel was very good for the price.
Very clean, nice bed, no smells, excellent staff, well appointed, very good breakfast. Only negative are the pillows on the king bed. Too small (but they do give you 4) and too soft. I would stay here again if in the area. I felt it was a very good value for the price, more so than the comparable Hilton and Marriott properties.
comfortable stay. rooms were a good size. Breakfast you had plenty of options. I did use the Workout room, It was "okay". WiFi was not working well. We had a difficult time connecting. Became a bit of an issue, due to the fact that i was also "working" while on vacation. Location was close to where you wanted/needed to go in the Ft. Myers/ Cape Coral area. Would stay again.
We drove down from Venice so that we could do some fishing in Fort Myers. We did not have any issues with reserving, checking in or checking out. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was good.
Hotel was located in a good area and staff were very respectful and very helpful. The staff made our staff made our stay better. The condo we rented on AirBNB cancelled at the last moment. During Spring break our choices were limited. We were very fortunate to have found this Best Western and location was good for our business meeting. The staff really took care of us!
Hotel was clean, reasonable for the area and centrally located. It included a breakfast with bacon, eggs, waffles, yogurt, bagels, cereal, etc. Wi-Fi was good, TV had plenty of channels. They don't allow dogs which I appreciated, having had to listen to barking dogs in other hotels. Lobby and public areas were clean. There's a pool but we didn't use it.
We stayed here for four nights during spring training. Our hotel room was clean and well-appointed for a hotel of this class. The air conditioning worked well and the water pressure was good. Having the sink and mirror outside of the bathroom was a plus. The free breakfast had a decent variety and was of good quality. The hotel is just off a four-lane road lined with shopping centers, but it was quiet and there are two restaurants within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you come down for Red Sox games, avoid traffic to Jetblue Park by taking Colonial Blvd to SR 82 to Gateway Blvd to Daniel's Pkwy.
Stayed here before and after a cruise with our FM Friends. Before the cruise we stayed in a standard room and after we stayed in a suite. Both rooms were good. The suite provided extra room since we were staying longer than a week. Would stay again if in the area.
The hotel was in the center of the area we wanted to visit like Santibel ane Captivia Islands and was priced within our budget. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and there was a good variety of food and bervadeges.
A standard hotel for a reasonable budget but with very nice staff throughout. Warm reception, quite a good budget breakfast and a very friendly and helpful lady looking after us. Even the cleaning ladies were warm and friendly. The room was as usual, but clean and well looked after.
The rooms are clean and comfortable! The grounds are well-kept and nicely manicured. The staff members are courteous and friendly. I think you will enjoy your stay! I would definitely stay again. A place to really consider!!
We spent 17 days in beautiful Ft Myers and found the Best Western to be immaculate, with a wonderfully friendly, competent staff. Ivan at reception and Lux handling the delicious breakfast, made our stay especially pleasant. Loved the outdoor swimming pool.
This was a great find for us! We stayed only one night before a late-morning flight out of Ft Myers, and couldn't have picked a better spot. The place was spotless, the internet was fast and reliable, the room was large and well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. The pool looked wonderful though I didn't swim due to late arrival; water was sparkly clean, there was plenty of seating, and access was easy. The breakfast was just fine, too, with choices of hot and cold food to eat there or take out. Special shout-out to the reception staff, who were absolutely charming and helpful! Apparently I got lucky with my reservation only 6 days in advance, because the place was sold out by 9:30 PM!!
From the time we arrived, with the helpful front desk people, to our immaculate room and housekeeping service, to the complimentary hot breakfast, this hotel was an excellent value. A little off the beaten path, but well worth it!! The entire staff from housekeeping to reception to breakfast attendants were helpful friendly and efficient. The room was immaculate, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom spotless. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing wonderful stay!!!!
Best Western Ft. Myers 12-20 through 12-22 We had a great phone reservation and check-in experience with Ivan and I watched him deal expertly with several guests during a very busy time. Our room was nicely appointed, adequately-sized for 3 people; we had two queen beds; the beds were COMFORTABLE and there were nice new towels for 3 people already in the room. We also had a small closet with plenty of hangers. There was easy access to plenty of electrical outlets. Everything was CLEAN and in good repair -- the microwave broke right away, but was replaced IMMEDIATELY with great efficiency and apologies for the inconvenience by Jeffrey. It was just really nice to be treated like an honored guest. The Internet was great our first night, but on the second night it went out (the early evening) and never came back on before our checkout the next day; this REALLY complicated verifying our departure details and was a great inconvenience. Breakfast was excellent. Really. I was impressed. There were fried eggs, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, hot fresh oatmeal, pancakes & 2 waffle makers and 2 kinds of waffles (regular and a blueberry flaxseed that was very tasty). There was a selection of pastries including croissant that when toasted made a nice breakfast sandwich! There was plenty of fresh fruit (wrapped apples, oranges & bananas), cereal and a selection of instant hot cereals. The only disappointment was that there was no real butter available, but there was Philly Cream cheese that was kinda nice on the blueberry waffle. There's also a set of shelves in the breakfast room with some games and books available and a tip jar for the breakfast attendants -- nice touches. :) There's a lovely outside pool, but we didn't use it so I can't say how well maintained it is. There's a Business center near the lobby. The gym is a nice set up but there were no towels or way to wipe the machines off and the treadmill was broken. I would stay at this property again; if the Internet access issue hadn't been such a problem for us I would have given this property 4 stars.
Awesome experience friendly fast service clean reception area rooms are nicely decorated highspeed internet is a great ammenity just widh they had a bar and more areas to eat close to the location but for the value its okay
Very clean and comfortable room, with good breakfast every morning. Second time we stayed at this Best Western. It is in a perfect location for us to visit family and see the sights. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Enjoyed my stay with family. Great customer service and amenities. Rooms were clean and hotel environment was very welcoming. Very relaxing weekend for us all. Will definitely stay again when traveling to Ft.Myers,FL
The resort we had booked in Cape Coral failed to leave our room information for us for our late arrival and I had called them earlier to verify that they would. Needless to say, we were stressed and forced to call around to find another place to stay. Every place in Cape Coral was full but we finally found a room here. We arrived after 1 AM. The hotel was very clean and Amelia on the desk was super nice. We only slept for a few hours and woke early to head out. It was way before the continental breakfast so Amelia was kind enough to pack some fruit, water, and breakfast bars into a bag for us to take with us. We greatly appreciated it. I would definitely stay here again.
A nice lady named Soheir is the shuttle bus driver AND she is in charge of the FREE breakfast every morning! Amazing! freshly made food, something different every morning. very tasty!! super super person, really cares for the customers. Everyone at the front desk was kind and thoughtful.Justin however was outstanding! I enjoyed having him help me. Great hotel, well worth the money. also easy to find and close to main roads,
not only was the staff friendly they where very helpful and really cared about our stay. The room was was spotless. The morning breakfast was outstanding there was a lot of options to pick from. the owner/manager should be very proud of the outstanding team you have. we will stay again when in the area
This hotel is off the chain, clean, staff friendly, nice room, real and delicious breakfast, and overall best place for business professionals, honey moon, graduation, and getways. I highly recommend Best Western for a peaceful and an enjoyable day and night stay.
Great value and convenient location. Walked next door to Miller's Ale House For dinner where with your room key you get 10% discount on your meal. All help we came in contact were helpful and friendly.
Nice job with the remodel. Bright and inviting lobby. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean too and grounds. Close to restaurants and the mall. Loved the complimentary coffee in the lobby.
We stayed here for about a week when we first came to town, before moving into our apartment. When the A/C recentlybwent out, we booked a room for the night. The people were as nice as we remembered. Rates are good, rooms are clean.
LOVE this hotel. It is now one of my go-to hotels for visits to Fort Myers. It is impeccably clean, new furniture, and an impressive check in entrance. Big hallways, tall green flora, a lovely pool, and a nice hot breakfast that exceeded my expectations. Hot breakfast consisted of biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, hot coffee/tea. fruit, bagels and cream cheese, and well the list goes on. The maid service is great too. I was definitely pleased. I felt welcomed here. Thanks.
The hotel was a nice change and quiet enough to have a restful time. Breakfast is served and they have tables outside by the pool so you can start your day nicely. They have an area where you can buy drinks and snacks at very affordable prices. All in all, it's a very nice budget hotel.
Very accommodating and clean rooms. Was able to handle the mass of families. Water issues at first but able to fix by next day. Overall a very good place to stay. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Lots to chose from. Staff very kind and attentive.
Check-in was a breeze, and the downstairs lobby looked very modern and clean. Room was very comfy. The bed was clean and felt great on my back. Television had no issues. I especially liked how the sink and vanity were outside of the bathroom, it made getting ready for work a lot easier. I will stay again!
Ivan was super nice and helpful at check in very accommodating. In the morning the maid was so nice in the morning. Very quiet and relaxing. Bed and pillows is comfy. Really nice little getaway. They offer a nice little breakfast and have snacks for purchase if you need. They are very accommodating here
We stayed for 4 days at this hotel. The rooms were average and comfortable. The walls are pretty thin so if you have a noisy neighbor it could be a problem. We had the breakfast in am - not great. They also close at 9:30am during the week which is early if you are on vacation. The waffles were probably the best choice. We did enjoy sitting out by the pool and swimming. The outside area is very well maintained. The hotel is near major roads, the airport and shopping.
The Road Won...I got done with a repair job at sundown and then had a wonderful and much needed visit with Linda. Got on the road about 11:30 pm. Exhausted from the last two days and Still raining I decided to get a room. My first reservation at another place did not go through because they were booked. Picked #bestwestern because it was on my route and close. A little wary about the neighborhood. It has improved since I was here years ago. I am sooo happy I did. Got to the desk at midnight or so to a cheerful and knowledgeable young lady. Got 500 points and a gift bag for my #bestwesternrewards at check in and she was checking to see if I Still get rewards registering through a 3rd party reservation company. I use hotels.com for reserving all my travel. Convenient, best prices, and I earn rooms. So I am not bummed when rewards at hotels do not accept third party reservations because I still earn points through them. Get to the room and had no problems, clean, no mold or smoke smells, beautiful decor, comfortable seats and bed, Make up very lit mirror, soaps and shampoos moisturizing and feels great on the skin. I got amazing much needed sleep. Went for breakfast and so happy I did. Waffle/pancake, yogurt and oatmeal bar with toppings, fresh eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy bar, fresh fruits and juices. Very happy to start my day Hangry free. Also a shout out to the employee Manning the breakfast station she was very pleasant, sociable, and made sure everybody felt comfortable and had all that they needed. Check out easy and very pleasant. Used my drink tickets from my goodie bag for two bottles of cold water and snacks for my long day on the road. #bestwesternfortmyers I will be back and so will my teams. Thank you! #roadwarrior
Now this place is a gem, large spacious rooms comfortable bed, and so nice and clean, everywhere you go it's immaculate. The most helpful concierge, they have a shuttle van and free use of umbrellas, which we used, it's the rainy season. There is so much within walking distance you never need to drive anywhere, this is the best location for a hotel, excellent restaurants and if you want fast food. Big shopping area 2/10 of a mile, easy walking, they serve a good breakfast, I have to reiterate friendly and helpful staff.
From start to finish the stay was quite pleasant. Room very clean and spacious. Amenities were nicely presented and complete. One nice touch was the curved shower curtain that kept the curtain out of the way. Beds were comfortable with more two pillows per person. The hot breakfast had a plentiful selection of self service items both hot and cold that were regularly refilled If I were to nit-pick, the one bath towel per person was the only negative point. Other than that you won't be disappointed with this hotel.
We had called to see if the Jacuzzi was working and were told it was but found they were waiting for a part and the Jacuzzi wasn't heating properly! Went back to our room #319 to shower and found the water pressure for the hot water was very very weak!!!
Stayed two nights at Fort Myers BW with no problems. Recommend this hotel if traveling through or staying in the Fort Myers area. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the standard for BW with eggs, meat, waffle or pancakes. Worth the stay.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were in excellent shape, clean, and quiet. The included breakfast was good. WiFi in the rooms was reliable. A computer and printer are available in the lobby. The tap water may have a sulfur taste, as others have noted. I did not try it for drinking. When a motel offers free water with fruit in it in the lobby, which this one does, I know that is the place to get drinking water and fill my water container for the next day. The motel does not control the city's water system and this is always a thoughtful work-around. You may have to drive a ways to find interesting restaurants. Mostly what we found closer by were fast food restaurants. (I should have spent a little more time with Trip Advisor!) DQ across the street.
Very clean and rooms are upgraded. Fridge and microwave in the rooms. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are quite and if you get the room next to the elevator don't fret you cannot hear anything. Water pressure is less than desirable but you get clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is awesome!!!
We stayed here one night while on our way to Sanibel Island, it was very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious and they had lots to choose from. The pool area is very clean with several tables and chairs and we even ate breakfast out there. I would definately stay here again.
Although this hotel is about four miles from the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins spring training ballparks, it is worth the drive. It is across the street from a Dairy Queen and there are other places to eat on Colonial Highway.
Best western ft Meyers at 4400 Ford St... We stayed 3/19/18 to 3/21/18 in Room 301. I received no goods or services for this review (I guess some folks had)... Very friendly staff and diligent housekeepers. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Great attention to guests by desk staff, everyone friendly. Fast service. Outstanding service by the Oriental breakfast caretaker, very diligent refilling products and keeping levels up on items. Issues: (not reported, spending time at the beaches……) - Tap water not drinkable, extreme sulfur. Make sure you bring in your own water for drinking ($0.88/gal for Springwater at Walmart) not a dollar a bottle for 16 oz at front desk. --Please Get a real mattress and ditch the 1970's mattress. Mity tough sleepless nites. - Please Replace the air conditioner bad circulator fan/motor bearings that are worn and out of balance and make a heck of a noise. - Please Have your plumber replace the outlook spigot and shower diverter valve in the shower.
Awesome place, good location, great value. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room is clean and new. Breakfast - good variety and choices for all kinds of dietary considerations. Coffee - so, so, but that didn't matter.
Hotel was not in a great location and could use some TLC. Staff was not friendly. Our room was skipped twice for cleaning. Pool is small and chairs were old/used looking. Needed an extra night stay because our flight was cancelled, but manager was unwilling to let us stay at the rate we were paying. Wanted to charge us double the price. We left and went to another hotel for our last night. Very disappointed. Would not come back here again.
Home searching in this are so the location was perfect. Major highway nearby, restaurants nearby, hotel and rooms were clean, breakfast included, plenty of parking, friendly staff. Its all we needed to make our stay comfortable.
Made a quick pit stop here. Pricey but adequate. The room was clean and the breakfast was above average. Lobby was clean and the night manager was extra nice. She gave us hot coco when we came in at night.
Picked this BW having been to many others in the past few years. Nice location, lots of free parking and close to many restaurants. Just be advised that Colonial Ave out front has a ton of heavy traffic and you have to maneuver to get across the street going the other way. Was greeted nicely by front desk, went to our room, everything looked great, clean and big. A/C was working fine, fridge in room big, also a microwave if you want it. Stayed here for 6 days. Breakfast nook is small, and you may have to eat outside by the pool or in the lobby if everyone staying there comes down to breakfast at the same time. Food is okay, lots of choices, coffee is very good. Started having a problem with the toilet on the 2nd day. Water level is very, very high due to the pressure tank feature in the toilet. Listen to me, for a guy, this can be a very nasty problem and you will wind up with the "wet tea bag syndrome". Talked to the desk about it, and went out, when came back saw maintenance guy in lobby who said all was okay.. It wasn't okay, and decided to use some common sense and take a coffee cup to empty some of the water so you could sit in comfort. Cleaning staff a bit sloppy depending on who is assigned to your room on any particular day.. Had to ask twice for hand towels, as well as for refilling coffee and tea packages in the room. Fluff from white socks was on rug for a couple of days, so don't know what their vacuuming schedule is like. Looks like this BW had been remodeled not too long ago, and room and bath looked fine. Place was fully booked for most of our week, and met some really nice people here. Am not likely to visit Ft. Myers again, and if I had to, would book somewhere else.
The hotel had great service. Did not use the pool but that area was clean and looked to be a great place to hang out. The bathroom in our room could use some updates but the rest of the room seemed good. Continental breakfast options changed everyday which was great.
This BW was just a quick drive from Hammond Stadium for Spring Training. Our king suite was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. A/C worked well and drapes did a decent job of blocking the floodlights just outside our room. Hot breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. We will stay here again.
We needed to fill 2 nights at a hotel in the Fort Myers area and found this one on the Internet. I am a member of their rewards program so decided to try it out. Given the prices of the other hotels in the area I was concerned at the price point for this one but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly, typical Best Western amenities and breakfast. I am not a fan of a sink outside of the bathroom but this one was OK. Bathroom had plenty of towels and soap. Beds were comfortable as was the room. We arrived early and got room 108 which is very close to the lobby on the first floor. It made our arrival and departure easy. I recommend trying for a first floor room if you can. The pool is clean, warm and well maintained. It is open dawn to dusk. The exercise room looks good but I did not get to it. The only downside is that it is in a flight path for a small airport. That became noticeable when sitting by the pool. In the room, you could hardly hear the planes. Outside quite another matter. Price wise, there is little in this area that is budget friendly but this one was the closest I could find.
Staff was very nice. Bed & pillows were good.. Nice size Refg. Decent size room..The room was alittle worn. Bathroom door, wood was peeling. Shower leaking. There was little bugs, looked like ants by the sink. I didn't say anything,we just cleaned up. Noticed it on our last day.Other wise room was clean.Breakfast ok.. No pre made oatmeal,a few pkgs. not even good ones. Yogurt was the diet type, which I don't like. No healthy alternatives. Some people may have thought it was good. They did have cereal & waffles. It was on main drag,so you r close to everything..
Clean, friendly staff. Location was convenient to airport. Close to shopping and places to eat. Was not sure when we first pulled in but ended up great. Room wasn't ready till 3 due to short staff, but front desk called us as soon as it was.
We were there for four nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice. We were always greeted when we returned to the hotel. We had to stay an extra night due to weather in TN and they still gave us the same rate we got online originally. The room was clean. The breakfast area is small but we ate outside usually. There was definitely a difference between the women running the breakfast area. The weekend woman wasn't quite as efficient as the woman working during the weekdays. Food was constantly running out or utensils/plates. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again next time we are in Fort Myers.
Decent inn near I75. Room was good and housekeeping did a nice job. Breakfast was fine but hot items didn't change from one day to the next so wouldn't want to have the same thing over and over. Robin, the manager, was very nice and helpful as were all other front desk staff. Pool area is peaceful and pretty. Rates were reasonable.
One of the better Best Westerns. Location was perfect for us as we went to Sanibel and Captiva one day and Pine Island the next. Both were easy to drive to and the bike trail was near enough to ride from the hotel. Staff was great, lobby is beautiful. Missed a morning paper and fruit for breakfast. Wife wanted brighter light bedside for reading. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants with Dairy Queen across Fort St. Room was quiet and dark, two aspects we appreciate.
I really do not have any big complaints and this is a good place to stay, but neither does it amaze me. That is what I find frequently about Best Westerns, though. The front desk at Fort Meyers is right near the entrance so they are right there to greet you as you come and go. That was nice. The room was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. The shower was wimpy. The breakfast food was average and the eating area small, but staff was pleasant. I saw a tip jar in the breakfast room which I have not seen at other hotels. The location is real good. It is not far to Cleveland Rd/ Hwy 41 which is full of stores and eating places. There are eating places and stores near the hotel, too. I give them a 4 rather than an average 3 because their staff did a real good job.
Came down for a family visit - very pleasantly surprised. This hotel is located right off Colonial with Dairy Queen across the street and and other restaurants three doors down, also close to shopping. The room (king suite) was spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. Definitely would recommend this hotel.
One of the more comfortable and affordable hotels we've stayed at. The staff was exceptionally interested in service and friendliness. The room and common areas were very clean and looked apealing. Short but very sweet stay!
This hotel is very easy to find. The personal very nice. Rooms are very clean, food at breakfast buffet good.. The front desk people were very helpful with directions and food ideas, Helping us with direction with parking downtown .
From arrival to departure the whole experience was wonderful. Staff didn't need to make themselves pleasant, they just were. Very helpful. Room was clean and everything from the teamaker to the television to the shower worked! Definitely recommend this Best Western
Stayed here because it was very close to our family. It was also easy to get around Fort Myers from the hotel, as it is pretty centrally located. Enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean room and good breakfast.
We stayed here for two nights in April 2017 during two weeks in Florida. We picked the hotel based on very good price for the room and that it was perfect for excursions to both the Everglades and Sanibel island. We were not disappointed, friendly atmosphere and the room was good for there persons.
Best hotel, until I met this very rude house keeping women... charged my card FOR no reason, told me she'd send me emails on her own times and now days later I have yet to receive. No call from management either.
This was an outstanding hotel. The breakfast items were more than usual and the rooms were clean and comfortable. This property has a well taken care of pool which was extremely clean and nice temperature.
Great place. very convenient to downtown meetings. Staff was courteous and helpful. There are many places nearby to eat. Desk staff was helpful in providing maps and directions to desired locations. A good place to stay.
This hotel was clean and comfortable, easily accessible to all points in the Ft. Myers area and the entire experience with the staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. It was an excellent value, in a safe location, minutes from all of the major highways. Very good restaurants were close by and even within walking distance.
The location was perfect. We could walk out of our room and right onto the beach. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good. The coffee was great and I'm hard to please in that department. The staff was super friendly and always helpful. I'll be going back this summer.
Hotel was clean, clean sheets, good service, and good breakfast with options to chose from. Dairy Queen across the street. We only stayed one night. Bed is comfortable but if you sleep with a fan you need to bring your own as they don't provide one for you..lol. I would difinitley come back if I were to visit Ft. Myers.
Stayed here one night to meet a vacationing friend. Both of us were impressed with this property. Rooms clean and modern, very quiet, good a/c, big refrigerator. Good selection of breakfast items. Right on the main Colonial Blvd. so it was very convenient to the airport and to town. Coffee maker was okay but made weak coffee. Minor detail since breakfast started at 7:00. Would stay here again for sure.
Due to mold in my home I needed to get away. Best Western in Fort Myers was a very good choice. Everyone from the Manager, Henry, the Supervisor, Raphael, the Maintenance, Scott,, to the Food Service, Luz, were wonderful and so helpful. Thank you guys for making me so comfortable when I really needed it!
Our stay was wonderful. staff friendly and professional. Clean hotel and great location. Parking lot excellent around the hotel. Different way to leave from the hotel. 24 hours coffee and juice. The bed is comfortable and clean.
From the front counter to the room attendants to the food servers, all were the friendliest and best ever. Big Breakfast, waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries, etc. Watermelon water in lobby and coffee all day.
I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was conveniently located near the highway (I-75). It was close to lots of restaurants and shops.
For our purposes, this hotel was great. Conveniently located nearby everything we needed to access. Great staff, decent breakfast, very clean rooms and common areas. Obviously recently renovated and nice touches everywhere.
Great hotel nice place to stay very clean and would highly recommend. Lovely place and nice food I liked it and would tell others to stay there. Its my favorite now and friendly people working. Always trying to find nice people who work at hotel that care about you
This Hotel is a good hotel for a short stay. The rooms are all remodeled, are not very luxurious, but clean and have everything you need. The carpet in the Hallways need to be changed, but otherwise no complains. The Personal is extremely friendly.
Convenient to airport; good value for under $100/night Small pool with no hot tub (in shade until noon) usual breakfast options with waffles Friendly staff Parking can be tight as a lot of service trucks seem to share the parking lot.
Great experience. The staff is always courteous and friendly. The location is centrally located and the breakfast is good. The rooms are always clean and you always see the employees keeping the lobby clean. The only place I stay when in Ft Myers on business
We needed to stay just 1 night to attend a performance at the Barbara Mann Theater. The hotel was just 5 miles away and easy to get to. Nearby to many restaurants and withing walking distance to a few.
We took a trip to Fort Meyers for a bowling tournament, the hotel was close to everything. The service was good, breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean, well maintained. The only thing lacking was a hot tub.
We have stayed here many times before bc of its location to all the baseball fields. It is now nicely remodeled for an old motel but...the ice machine never worked and the orange juice machine dispensed thick juice the first 2 days and watery juice the following 2 days (so far). They removed the 2 rocking chairs in front of the building bc of smokers sitting there too long and smoke entering the lobby. Now the only outside place to sit is the pool where people were really smoking during breakfast. Their laundry room needs a good cleaning. They do have great coffee, quiet air conditioners, comfortable beds and many breakfast options. The people who work here are very nice and accommodating.
Close to SGLR dinner mystery train. Not far to other Ft. Myers activities as well as Sanabel and Captiva Nice clean place to stay with a great breakfast and pleasent staff. Easy access from I75. Will look for other Best Western hotels in the future.
I stayed at the Best Western on the water and was not happy with my room. I was not told that there was no onsite breakfast only a small minute at the IHOP, it was ok, left me hungry. The view was beautiful but the air conditioner was either to hot or to cold. I was next to the ice machine and it woke me up many times. I moved to another hotel stayed 2 weeks there, they moved to another Best Western only got one night concern I would get the same problem with the air, but was very surprised to be very happy with my room. I had made another reservation with another hotel so only stayed 1 night at the second best western. I high view is for the second hotel.
Had stayed at the Ft Myers Best Western before but it had been several months. It was still an excellent choice for an older couple to stay. Very clean and excellent service. Would recommend it highly.
We enjoy the hotel a lot. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. We love the breakfast a lot. Every morning they have a different menu, and constantly they refresh the buffet. Thank you very much. We enjoy your hotel a lot!
Best Western is typically a very good moderately priced hotel chain. This one in Fort Myers is equally as good and they have a nice breakfast bar too. The service was friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. Enjoy.
The hotel looks so much bigger online. The "business center" is right there in the lobby. The check in desk is very small as well as the whole lobby. The eating area for breakfast is VERY small and congested. There are 100 rooms in the hotel and the eating area can fit maybe 30 people. There are 4 floors and only 1 elevator! The pool is even small
The bathroom was not adequately clean when we entered. Overall cleanliness of room was good. Bed was the most comfortable. Refrigerator had been turned down so that items we put in did not keep sufficiently cold
I have now stayed three times at the Fort Myers Best Western Hotel this year. The hotel is clean, both inside and out, and the rooms are comfortable. The stay includes a breakfast and the lady that is in charge of it is friendly and helpful. On this last trip to Florida, I was unable to get a room at this location because of the hurricane (Irma) and I booked a stay at another place.. What a disappointment the other location was, so within an hour after arriving at the other place I called the Best Western and they did now have a room available. SO the next day I checked into the Best Western for the remainder of my trip, and was a much happier person.. Thank you..
I would gladly spend more to get a better experience. Or spend less and just get a place to sleep. The breakfast is not good. Waste of money. We often would go out instead of eating in. So it's better to just not pay for it at all.
Heather rocks as a host, she recommended several good spots. Although it was right after a hurricane hit just before we arrived and the hotel was full, breakfast had a great variety! Only downside was towards the end of our stay, housekeeping could seem to get our room cleaned even though we left for 3-4 hours. Heather deserves a raise!!!
Heather is always great! This place is comfortable and a nice place to stay. All the employees are always helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The breakfast is always good too!
Sandy Rochelle and Destiny went far and beyond out of their way to take care of us during hurricane Irma restoration. I can't thank them enough! I would definitely stay here again! Beautiful water views.
Heather, Claudia (the front desk manager) and Luz from the kitchen staff are always very helpful! This is such a great hotel with friendly staff. My dad always stays here and they always make sure he's taken care of. I'm so grateful for this place!!!
Hotel staff is amazing. Always ready to help with anything. Hotel is always clean, and well managed. Breakfast is awesome. Pool is nice, and beds are comfortable. Love to stay here whenever I come to Ft Myers to visit my friend.
I was pleased with my entire stay in this centrally located hotel at a great price. The moment you enter the lobby you feel welcomed by the staff (Heather) the room was clean and comfortable, and then to get breakfast included. Will revisit when in the area again.
This is a recently remodeled hotel with a good location and great amenities at a price lower than all of the other hotels in Naples or Fort Myers. Great choice for business travelers. beautiful lobby, great breakfast selection, and very friendly staff.
Really friendly and efficient staff on front desk. Simple check in. Lovely room, spacious clean and quiet. Miller's ale house in walking distance. Breakfast was probably the best we have had in two weeks of hotel hopping!
At my current stay in Ft.Meyers I was very displeased to get such an awful room the tub did not drain properly,my room was not properly stocked nor cleaned either . The breakfast was great the staff is absolutely amazing they are all super pleasant and work hard to earn your business.
Clean and fresh smelling newly remolded hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming especially the lady attending the breakfast everyday. Close to many stores. I will definitely be staying here again.
This recently remodeled hotel provides very large and comfortable rooms with a very good complimentary breakfast with above average selection. The rooms are well arranged except that the rooms safes have been removed upon renovation. I like having the room safes to keep my laptop which, for many hotel users, contain the owners' entire personal and financial records. The bathrooms are nice with the sink and wash area outside of the toilet area. Some like this arrangement but I prefer the sink and wash area in the same room with the hotel. Location is on the outskirts of Fort Myers but this is a city where everyone needs a car. The area is quite safe and there are a couple of bar/restaurant within walking distance I have stayed at this particular hotel more than 30 times over 8 years and know that the room prices are highly variable with the tourist season. During the tourist in season, the "value" of the rooms becomes less of value as its prices come very close to next tier of hotels.
Staff was very courteous and helpful. Poor lighting in the room. Hot/cold water was reversed in the tub. Tub stopper would not stay open. A/C was very noisy. Not sure if poor sleep was caused by the bed or sheets fabric.
The Staff is great. The Rooms are nice. It is walking distance from Millers Ale House which is a very good place to eat with great specials. I stay at this hotel for a week at a time last least two times a year. I have stayed at others in the area, however, this is one is where I like to stay when I can choose.
was pleasant overnight stay. not a place i would spend more than one night for visiting area. too far from attractions. breakfast was good. staff was helpful. room was clean.would recommend if you need to catch plane next day.
Good value for money. Comfortable accommodation, friendly, cheerful staff. Nice breakfast. Convenient to the Dinner Train and Broadway Palm Theatre. Easy check in and out. Pleasant pool area. Highly recommend.
The place was easy to find and near many restaurants and shops. The only issue we had was with our door not locking properly. We informed a cleaning lady to immediately contacted service person who exchanged our door locks before we got back to our room after breakfast. They worked fast and were very friendly. Their breakfast was very good however the room for the people to eat (many) sat 20-25 people. I would be nice to eat out there instead of taking it back to the room. Either way I would recommend this hotel.
This is a great place to stay. Staff is great, super friendly and the facility is very clean. Pool was clean and refreshing. Fitness center is small but good machines. was very helpful to have laundry facility as we traveled with an infant. will most likely stay there again and recommend to family and friends'
Staying at this hotel was a good experience, went there for a tournament, therefore; we were a bid group. Very good location, very clean area and the hotel is kept neat at all times. Mattress not as comfortable but overall stay was very good.
Very clean rooms and quiet. Great price and centrally located for the event I visited the area for. The hotel was recently renovated. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room include a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. I would stay here again!
The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was okay--nice selection, but the eggs were not hot. The handicap shower did not have a place for the soap or shampoo. The pool was heated which is nice.
Comfortable room with a nice pool view. Breakfast variety. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Close to everything Beaches, shopping, Downtown, River and outlet mall. Price is just right. Updated rooms and lobby. Internet is part of the deal.
We enjoyed our stay at the best western Fort Myers... Pros. 1. Nice clean room and hotel in general was nice clean and updated. 2 good central location 3. Nice complimentary breakfast 4. Price was very good. 5 Refrigerator microwave coffee maker and all other appliances needed in room. Cons... None for the price. Over all would stay here again we enjoyed our stay.
Excellent Room furnishings very good WiFi. Great Pool and relaxation area. All the Staff are beyond helpful and very friendly, Heather and Adele on front desk have excellent local knowledge and take great care to ensure your stay is very comfortable. We actually extended our stay at this hotel as it was perfect for all our needs.
This Hotel was wonderful. We stayed here two days. Rooms were good and clean, and comfortable. Staff was professional and friendly, Didn't get a chance to use the all the things they had, hut did walk around the grounds and it was very clean. Well taken care of.
We have stayed here 3 times and never had a bad experience. Would definitely recommend. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good and staff is great in a very safe area and easy to get in and out. Pool area was very pleasant.
Very friendly and professional staff. I went to visit my son in Fort Myers, FL. I picked this hotel because the rates were so affordable and the hotel looked very relaxing. Rooms were very clean and the entire stay was enjoyable. I will definitely stay here again.
Beautiful Hotel,Staff was excellent, clean rooms, nice location, great value,Jeff and his maintenace staff were very freindly and keep this property running smoothly. Maria and the housecleaning ladies were so friendly and work hard to keep every room spotless. Claudia at the front desk was very helpful with restaurant suggestions
Close to many great restaurants. Acess to computers and printer in lobby, free WiFi. Staff made sure I was checked in and were very helpful with directions and places to eat and shop. Pool was clean and lot chairs for sitting. Free newspapers too!
This BW property may not be the newest, but it is conveniently located and provided great value for a family on vacation. We spent a week in April 2017 and will stay again on our next trip to the Fort Myers area. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean. NO COMPLAINTS.
We had a wonderful stay--this hotel is conveniently located. It is close to beaches, islands, shopping and the airport. Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff and good quality free breakfast! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Fort Meyers area!! We had a great stay at this hotel and a wonderful trip to Fort Meyers!! We would stay here again!
Budget hotel but that met perfectly expectations. Very friendly service, continental breakfast and good location. Good bed but small bathroom. Free easy parking. In the surroundings there are snack bars and restaurants. Excellent value for money.
With Best Western you do not know what awaits you when you check in. Best Western are individual franchises and not owned by Best Western. In my past with Best Western and experience it is best to check ratings and reviews for an educated decision for a particular property. This location is excellent in many aspects, from the moment you you walk in to the front counter and the greeting you receive, seamless check in, very nicely appointed room with a most comfortable mattress and pillows. Quiet and peaceful. WiFi connected without a hitch. Oversized TV, micro-range and fridge was an added bonus. Breakfast was to par with a quick buffet type of offerings. Check out was excellent. In a nut shell will return and highly recommend when in the Fort Myers area.
We have stayed at this Best Western several times over a three year period, and have always had excellent experiences. We were late checking in, and were relieved to be offered a bag of snacks and our choice of full size soft drinks. The hotel has a pool, nice seating area in the lobby, and offers breakfast. Our room was exceptionally clean, and we were very surprised to get a king suite for less than $100. Would highly recommend this hote!
At this location, I always feel at home. This hotel was my second visit and will always be my place to stay. It surrounded by numerous places like shops and restaurants. We have friends that live near by we visit when coming to Ft. Myers. The staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile at all times. Very clean and fantastic place to stay. I like to go on and on about the hotel but you have to see for yourself.
This is a very typical property, they just do everything a little better than most. I was simply too tired to make it home the last few hours of the day after a long few days working in Miami so I checked into this property located close to the interstate and was pleasantly surprised. My bar is typically pretty low at similar properties and if you have seen one you have seen them all. This one was a little different. Staff VERY friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Updated property. Tidy property. Good location.
Great check in- we even got to check in a bit early because of our flight time. Very clean hotel- close to everything. The breakfast was great- nice choices- cleaned and stocked well. The pool area was small but nice- the pool was clean
Good location . Friendly check in staff, and good Breakfast . King suite is very nice and spacious. Pool area and pool is very clean. Restaurant's and food in the area very good. Good attractions in the area not to far.
The customer service and friendliness of the staff is impeccable! This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, and the beds were so comfy! The pool was amazing and the breakfast was great! I am definitely returning!
Everything was good, I liked staying there. The room was very good, good facilities. Nice and friendly staff. We got a lot great ideas what we can do and explore in Fort Myers and the surroundings. Next time I'll choose BW again.
Stayed 4 nights and had a wonderful experience here. Room was extremely clean, spacious and tastefully decorated; staff were all friendly and helpful; breakfast had many choices including waffles (my favorite), eggs & sausage, bagels/muffins, cereals and great coffee with your choice of indoor/outdoor seating. Convenient location with easy access to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva, and the airport. Very reasonable rates.
Great location, good accommodations. As BW mbr checkin was quick and painless. Easy walk to "times square" area that has plenty eating choices. Wide beach. Water sports rental in front of hotel. Pool is small but kept clean.
This stay was pretty good. Looks like a remodeled building. Clean rooms Great location with restaurants near by. Traffic can be a bit rough depending on the time of day. Hotel staff was great. I would recommend.
Stayed here for the night on our way to Atlanta, Ga. Affordable rate, offers free hot breakfast, clean room. WIFI wasn't that great but not a big deal for us. Over all happy with my stay at Best Western.
all Good over all good staff, very friendly , front desk all helpfull with reserverations and changes.highly remcomded very accessible to city good breakfast and clean good rooms and clean all overall i'd say good and satisfied
We had a nice night here! We would have loved to stay longer, but it was just a day trip. We will definitely be returning to this Best Western. Heather checked us in, she is amazing! The pool is heated and as long as your not too loud they don't mind you being in the pool after dark, which was nice because we arrived at 8pm, kids wanted to go for a swim. Room was great, clean and comfy beds. The rate for this hotel is great as well.
I must say once again I am continually impressed with this hotel & staff. Amelia, on duty desk clerk, was wonderful upon check-in. This hotel continues to be the "GEM OF FORT MYERS" Keep up the great work. With this stay, I saw more of their upgrades & remodeling, extremely nice. Let me not forget the price.......great price. I can not say enough about this hotel. You must stay here if you will be in the Fort Myers or Naples area.
Having had a slightly souring experience at BW Naples I moved on to Fort Myers BW. I'm glad I did, I came for one night and stayed 4 (one of which I had originally planned for Naples) The reception staff Heather, Amelia and Kristina were top class. Like all reception staff at BW I have stayed with, except Naples. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and the cleaning and support staff matched them as well they could. Ultra clean despite just finishing renovations the hotel did well enough to tempt me to carry on BW albeit I have already experienced my next stop at Orlando when I arrived in the USA this trip. I have no connections with BW other than as a guest in the UK Canada and USA and have only had poor experience albeit a small one at Naples.
This hotel sits right on beach. Beautiful reasonable accommodations. Pool is beach side. Only problem is they close at dusk and have no pool lights due to restrictions for sea turtles. Balcony rooms with kitchens. Can catch shuttle to the Keys from here, weekday prices are reasonable and you come back when're you plan stay in Keys a weekend if you want. Cuts drive time way down. Great sunsets and beautiful white clean beaches with activities offered along area. Would definitely visit again
Been here twice. 5 days the 1st time. 12 the next, last fall. Planning a trip now into the same area, and will stay again. Staff was fantastic. very helpful of anything asked of. Even gave recommendations to restaurants that were great. Printed out the driving directions for us also. Room and lobby were very clean. Nice sized room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. Fresh and tasty. Even after 12 days of eating there, still enjoyed it. Nice selection. Pool was fantastic. Nice size with plenty of chairs, but in mornings sometimes hard to find a table. Evenings around the pool were very nice. Great lighting into all the palm trees surrounding the pool. 15 minute drive form airport.
I have been staying here on average once a month for the last 5 years and each and every stay is great. The entire staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make it a home away from home. They always make sure I get the room requested and when possible upgrade as I am a Diamond member. The hotel was just completely refurbished and it is beyond beautiful. The lobby is warm and inviting with free fruit instilled water. They now have a pantry available for incidentals or snacks. The rooms are gorgeous and state of the art. Breakfast variety is amazing lots of hot food. Always a smile and a hello from the staff who attends to it. Thank you to the entire staff for making me feel like home :)
We stayed here because it was close to the Murder Mystery Dinner Train and the Ford & Edison Winter Estates. Our room was very nice, clean, quiet, & comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good and was kept well stocked. Everyone who works here was pleasant and helpful. It was also a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.
We were only here for one night on our way to another destination but it did not disappoint! The price was awesome for what we received. Wifi was free with a great connection, breakfast was surprisingly good quality and plentiful. Our son loved swimming in the pool and drinking the fruit infused water in the lobby. The beds were clean, but too soft for us. The bathroom needs some TLC and updating, but the set up of the room was perfect and we loved the refrigerator and microwave that was included. Perfect for a quick stay!!
Never disappointed when we stay at a BW. This one did not disappoint in any way. We had 3 rooms for my crew and nobody had any complaints, except for slow internet. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Working in the Florida sun, all you want is a nice place to relax, and this location was great
We stayed one night. The staff was friendly. We were able to check in at 2:30pm. The room was in good working condition. It was quiet. The breakfast options were great. They had cheese omelets, sausage, bisquits, gravy, boiled eggs, waffles, pancakes, cereals, muffins, bagels, toast, yougart, milk, coffee, juice, and water. Only thing was it was under construction. It looks like it will be really nice when its finished. Our bed and pillows needed to be replaced.
excellent value for the money, nice rooms, good breakfast selection and very good internet and TV channels - much better value for the dollar than other hotels in the area. got a bigger room and paid less money - also great location
Not enough words to describe staying at this place. We will be going to Ft. Myers monthly and we will be staying here as well as our group. We love coming to that area and are even considering once a month trips with our group and we will be staying here. Even with remodeling going on there was no disturbance
Hopefully this will be a better example of the Best Western brand image post renovation. My experience was not good at all, as I stay at many different brands and level of expectations when traveling (over 100 times/ year) This is not your average Best Western, again it may be a better place to stay when renovations are complete..
Love this riverview hotel. Great suites clean and spacious with a complimentary IHOP breakfast (located right next door) from a special Best Western menu. They have a resturant Three Fishermen that has fabulous steamed shrimp and good fried foods. Pool is clean and usually sufficient lounges to go around. Great value and always a pleasure. Wifi can be a little flakey.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, and central to everything. The Check in was easy using trip advisor, the continental breakfast was basic but the coffee was great. Next trip to Ft. Myers will include the Best Western. The front desk staff was very helpful.
Very clean, Great value, Holiday weekend so no VACANCY, Super busy and LOUD. Nice breakfeast , small but nice pool area. Staff was very helpful and always attentive. Great location, would recommend to all.
We went during the time of remodeling and it was okay I guess. The outside looked wonderful and "fancy" while the inside was "under construction". But the stay was relaxing and the breakfast was good. We will probably revisit to see how well the remodeling went.
Clean rooms, breakfast was also good, the bed was super soft, LOVED IT . However the bathroom (with bath and shower) was very small but for this price,I can't really complain. The staff was also nice and friendly. 40 min drive to Sanibel island
Great hotel for the money. Clean, modern and nice courteous employees that make you feel welcome. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Business area is nice and modern with large computer screens. I wouldn't even look at staying at another hotel if visiting the area again.
Well we called 2 days before check in to ask about our 4 person room. We were told we had 2 queen beds and a rolling bed. We were told we can check in early too. When we got there both were untrue. We had a small room with 1 bed. Paid 140 for that. And we couldn't early check in even though we rezerved it. 2 towels for 4 men, no soap. Would never recommend this hotel.
What a really nice & beautiful remodeling that this hotel has undergone, since I last stayed here approx 6 months ago. It was very nice then, however, it's been beautifully redesigned. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. This is the only hotel I will stay in. Keep up the great work. Ps...the breakfast is always great.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 night. .the hotel is clean, room is clean and spacious. ..breakfast is included. We ate our breakfast by the pool. .wife is good strength. ..close and next to main road/highway 884. .close to mall. .lots of eatery nearby ,fast food chain and several sports bar and grill. ..next to other hotels. .thumps up to front desk staff. .claudia. ..she is so friendly and helpful. ..I recommend this place. ..
We booked this place through hot wire and the rating was 2 star. Well we were pleasantly surprised because we would rate this a 3 star!! The rooms were clean the staff was great and the hotel its self was clean neat newer looking and just plain great!! The breakfast was awesome every morning. my only complaint is Laing would be the rooms were not very quiet. We could hear every thing going on in hallways or outside. Luckily for my spouse and me we sleep like logs so for us it's not a big deal. So that is why I had to score it lower on sleep quality.
I was very impressed with this hotel. It was very clean, including the room. The room had a coffee pot and all the supplies, plus many toiletries. The breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, yogurt and more. The best part was that every single employee was friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again.
Same as always, no problems. Good Breakfast. Clean rooms. Great Internet. Friendly staff. Would recommend. Convenient to interstate. Wish they would have people with trailers/uhauls to park somewhere else. It takes up room for cars to park.
The room was clean and the bed was acceptable, so I'm not complaining. The only thing that made me a little nuts was no electrical outlets anywhere near the work desk. They actually installed a handy outlet with USB ports next to the bed, but there is no outlet anywhere near the desk. The room also had a carbon monoxide detector plugged in near the sink which I've never seen before. Anyhow, this was an acceptable stay for the money I paid, so I'm happy. I'd recommend this hotel for someone with a budget of less than $100/night. The young lady that checked me in was very kind and efficient.
Might not be the fanciest place, but it is clean and more than acceptable. Breakfast had lots of selection including fresh fruit. Great location! Friendly staff! Beds were very comfortable and the pool area is great!
Best hotel experience we have had in awhile. We always choose Best Western the rooms and continental breakfast are always up to par. The staff is amazing and accommodating. The breakfast on the go for people in a hurry is a nice touch
I had booked the wrong night but the staff that checked me in got me a room, kept me at the same rate and offered me a free water. The room was very clean and neat and the property was very clean. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. I will use this property again when I come for business in Fort Myers.
Very friendly and good services. The night sift manager went extra mile to assist us on several requests and provided very detail driving directions. She made very good and helpful recommendations. We'll stay in this hotel again. Sue
Had an overnight stay at Best Western. This location is run very well. It exceeded our high expectations. The breakfast is comprehensive and a very nice touch. Unusually good value for the money. I would stay there again. Walking distance to a good steak and seafood restaurant.
I highly recommend this hotel to any one staying in Ft. Myers Fl. The staff was outstanding, very knowledgeable of surrounding area. Hotel was centrally locate to many tourist attactions. Stay at this hotel.
The hotel was convenient, clean, and staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good with seating both inside and out by the pool. Internet worked fine and room was cleaned while we were out each day. Would use this hotel again.
This BW was okay. It was clean and the staff was friendly, however the beds were not that comfortable and the walls were thin. Overall satisfaction was Average. I would recommend staying if you needed to stay a few nights.
We stayed in Fort Myers for 3 nights for my Nephews 50th surprise Birthday. The hotel was in a great location. It was easy to travel between the hotel & the ball field. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good & changed a little each day. The employees were very pleasant & professional.
From the room to the hot breakfast, our stay could not have been better. The room was ready upon arrival, was immaculate and very comfortable. Free welcoming candy bars, and an upgrade to a King suite was the icing on the cake.
Older Hotel. Was not a good Value. Was about twice the price it should have been. A/C control appeared to be on the unit in the room but apparently was controlled by the hotel because it only came on when it wanted to, ( in room control was not connected). It was hot. Few electrical outlets and the outlets they had were loose. Very small bathroom. Breakfast was good. Staff was polite. Just very disappointing for the price.
The location was perfect for us to visit friends in Palm Harbor. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast which also had inside or outside seating. The staff were friendly. We didn't make use of he pool. The parking was just adequate.
great location, great breakfast, great staff. Hotel staff was very helpful getting us to stores, restaurants. Pool was nice. breakfast food was plenty for the day. Restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful.
The Best Western Ft. Myers was a very good choice. We moved from a bad hotel. The location is central but not for beach people (too far away). Price/Perf. is pretty good (we had a suite). Noise good till 8.30h (small airplanes). Breakfast is good and pool heated and nice.
We found this Best Western to be comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast surprised me - it was much better than I expected. The price for the room was very reasonable. Clean, comfy, and good price - yep, I'd stay there again.
We spent one night in a room which has seen better days. The positives: the staff were friendly, the outdoor heated pool was well maintained and the breakfast was varied. The negatives:the carpeting was not very clean. The furniture was dated and stained. The mattress needed replacing.
This is a very nice hotel that is undergoing renovation. Bed was starting to show its' age & hopefully will be replaced as part of the renovations. Very clean & staff was very friendly & helpful. Internet wasn't stable.
Friendly staff and everything neat and comfortable. Can't beat it. Sure it could be a little cheaper, but I still believe I got what I paid for. Centrally located for anything you need to do in the area which is always a great convenience.
Pros - Hard-working friendly and informative staff. I especially want to call out 'Luz' - she was so helpful and made me feel at home. The room was clean and spacious with a place to work at a table and separate areas for sink and toilet/shower. The motel was recently renovated and loves very upscale. The breakfast was very good with something for everyone. The location is good and convenient to everything - shopping and vacation sights and close to highways. Especially liked the heated outdoor pool. Very warm and so inviting
We stayed one night in this Best Western. It's close to many things and is easy to get to. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was clean, smelled fresh, and was well-stocked with tiny toiletries and coffee/tea selections. Best of all - NO BUGS!
The staff at BW Ft. Myers is among the most pleasant I have ever encountered, and the entire hotel was spotless. The room I was in was a little noisy, but not overly so. The breakfast was quite disappointing. Front desk staff were absolutely delightful!
We so enjoyed our stay at the Best Western! The staff was superb and the rooms were excellent! The pool was gorgeous and the location is centrally located so you are close to everything! We would definitely stay here again and again!
Enjoyed staying at this motel. Clean, liked having the sink/mirror outside the bathroom so more people could get ready at once in the morning. Staff was friendly, had candy when we arrived and got to "spin the wheel" for prizes or points. A fun atmosphere when we arrived. Were able to use pool after checkout before heading to airport. Nice!
Have to admit, I don't often leave reviews, especially for chain hotels, but this warranted it. Most unfortunately my family had to make our way to Florida from Ohio for the funeral of my fathers brother. When we arrived last night, my father informed the lovely gal at the front desk, Heather, of the nature of our visit. Certainly not asking for sympathy. But today when we arrived back after going to visit family, Heather was at the front desk waiting with a bag of treats and a card signed by the entire staff expressing their sympathies. It touched my father very deeply and I couldn't have appreciated it more. A very, very kind gesture from very, very kind people.
Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. At all times we felt the staff were caring and helpful. The facilities were very nice. We recommend this place for a comfortable stay. The location is also very convenient to reach out to other places in Fort Myers.
Over all experience was average, close to local attractions. There was a tornado warning for the area and the local staff did not have any instruction how to keep the guests safe. Public areas were in the final stages of remodeling.
We were somewhat concerned about booking this hotel due to its very mixed reviews. We booked and stayed there for four nights recently. The hotel is in the process of being renovated. The lobby is quite bright and well decorated. Reception was pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean, nicely appointed and of a good size. Even though it was somewhat old-fashioned in look, the carpet was clean and the furniture comfortable. The bed was comfortable. WiFi was fine in the room. The only difficulty in the room was turning on the shower which needed some coaxing. The room could use more accessible plugs. Breakfast was usual for a hotel – good variety and daily changes. The staff serving breakfast was very pleasant and friendly. The pool was heated and warm in a nice setting. The poor area was a nice setting for an outdoor breakfast on nice mornings. The pool area could use more shade. There are good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. All in all we would recommend this hotel in Fort Myers. Good location, quiet, clean, well priced and comfortable. It would be great though if the hotel would ban smoking in the pool area.
I have stayed in numerous Best Western hotels and the service is great in most of them now. We were traveling around Florida a fair bit and had booked this as a stop off hotel, there isn't a lot around there but it served a purpose after a long day traveling.
Staff very helpful! Location was good near restaurants, easy access in & out. Breakfast was very good and with a variety of food. Only problem was the maid service, they missed cleaning my room and towel delivery 2 days in a row.
Nice hotel, the staff very welcoming and helpful, the room itself was a bit small for instance we had 2 suitcases as we are touring florida but there wasn't enough room to have them both in the room so one had to stay in the car, the beds were very comfy, but it has to be said the carpets could do with a clean, but facilities in the room very good, nice fast Internet, the breakfast was the best we have had on our tour
Excellent stay while visiting the RV show. We highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was superb!!! Will stay again if we are in the area. Nice restaurants and shopping in the area. Ft. Myers has grown tremendously, nice place to visit.
Nice clean room . Very friendly and helpful front desk. Good parking . Good wifi. Quick walk to a decent restaurant/pub. Would stay here again. The free breakfast is just the typical continental fare.
We were needing a place to go by Sanibel Island and found this place. Great price and nice accommodations. The free breakfast was really a nice surprise to find so many choices. They had walnuts, almonds, strawberries, and chocolate chips for your pancakes & waffles. Couple different kinds of sausages and eggs. Fresh fruit, cereals.....etc It also had a nice pool area.
When we arrived, the hotel was under renovations which concerned us. But as it turned out there was never any problem as all staff including construction crew were pleasant and accommodating and we were never inconvenienced by the activities. Staff is well versed in their soft skills and their breakfast lady is a definite asset. She greeted everyone with genuine friendliness as she offered assistance.
Location is convenient to many other locations. Includes a copy of USA Today, an excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options: pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, bagels, cereals, muffins and more. Heated pool a big plus, too. Undergoing renovations and will be very appealing when finished.
Overall the hotel is very nice. It was ideally situated for us not far off the I75 as we were meeting friends in Ft Myers for a couple of days golfing as an interruption on our trip North. It has an excellent buffet breakfast and very friendly staff. The hotel is in the middle of upgrading and redecoration so should be nicer once completed. The reception/lobby area are almost completed with the rooms starting shortly. The bed was very comfortable & although dated the room had everything we needed for our short stay including fridge and microwave. The only disconcerting thing was the fact the washing area was inside the bedroom and not inbuilt as part of the overall shower/bathroom. My wife did not like it at all. Very unusual and not particularly pleasant.
If your flying into Fort Myers, this hotel is close to airport and to downtown clubs. The staff at this hotel was very pleasant. The Free breakfast, was fantastic, they have eggs and bacon, muffins, waffles and fruit. The hotel is older, but for the price a great value. I got a great prepaid price on the Internet.
The hotel was very clean also the room, the staff could not do enough. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was a good place to use as a jumping place to visit any place in Fort Meyers. There is plenty to do and see and beautiful beaches.
We just returned from a three night stay at this BW location. Every employee was friendly and quite helpful. They lobby renovation is just about complete. On the floor we stayed on the smell of the carpet hit you as soon as you stepped off the elevator. Our room was very old. The carpet was also old and smelled. The air conditioner either was very hot or very cold. We could only get very hot water in the shower.
Stayed one night on two different dates. The young lady that checked us in the first time and checked us out the second time was lovely, she really could not have been any nicer or welcoming.Other staff were also pleasant. Renovations are under way but this did not affect our stay. Room was clean and beds were comfy.Breakfast had a good hot and cold selection. Millers Ale house is within walking distance which is nice for dinner. Have stayed four times over the years and will return.
The place seemed to be completely full. People every where. The bedding seemed clean but the mattress made noisies when you got into bed. The recliner in the room was filthy. So it made you question how clean things really were. Our morning breakfast was ok but there were not enough seats for everyone. I don't think I would stay here again.
I stayed this hotel one night, I think it is a pretty nice one. 1) Good room service. The frontdesk responds my request quick. 2) Very nice breakfast. 3) It is in the middle of remodeling, except that it is good.
This hotel has just been fully renovated and it was clean and the room was quite nice. The staff were also friendly and helpful. However the air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which for the person sleeping close to it meant a cold uncomfortable nights rest. The breakfast was about what one expects in a hotel with no restaurant. I would have rated it higher but for the air conditioning issue.
I like this place rooms was very clean ,good location, price is very fair, breakfast was soso lot of things wasn't fresh like waffles eggs and not too many places to seat .I wish the girls on the desk could be more friendly but I'm happy w/ my stay and Yes I recommend
We were traveling to visit friends in the area, and being it was New Years eve, didn't want to be on the road all night, (for safety reasons) We checked into the Hotel, and the check-in process took maybe a whole three minutes. The lobby had just been renovated, and looked beautiful. I was told that the rooms would be renovated in the next few months. When we got to the room, it was clean, and attractive, and did not look dated or worn. We were very happy with the room, and the service, and will stay here again on our trips to the Ft. Myers area.
Everything is good. In these days the Hotel is in renovation so you could see some work tools in the first floor but rooms are perfect. Breakfast is rich and very good while the wi-fi works very well in all the hotel.
Heather was at the front desk when we checked in and she could not have been more gracious/helpful and wonderful with assisting all those that came into register and those that were staying there. She was so multitasking it was amazing. The night was so chaotic but she handled it with style and professionalism--ie water was off and she wasn't even aware of it herself. Her ability to cope with what was posed to her went way beyond her job description as a front desk receptionist. Best Western has a true gem and needs to look at possible an upward mobility job in order to keep her in their firm. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Rosemary Wonder
We stayed here for two nights a couple days before Christmas. Price was I think $60/night. Then skyrocketed to $150/night wouldn't pay THAT. But for $60 was great. Nice big room and patio. We were right above the restaurant on second floor so a bit noisy but other than that nice place. Friendly staff. Clean. Would stay again. But not for $150 lol
We spent the weekend here and while the room was just about the same as the pictures show our refrigerator and microwave didn't work. When maintenance showed up to fix it they found the plugs were not plugged in...Well it's your job to make sure they're plugged in, not mine!
They were in the process of updating but was still clean and inviting. I would stay there again it I were to visit fort Myers in the future. But it is inland land so if you want to be close to the beach try their other location closer to the beach I'm sure its a great place as well.
We stayed here 2 days. The ride to the beaches was a little to long, so I probably would choose something closer eventhough it would cost more. The hotel itself is pretty regular category, not bad, but also not outstanding. Clean and decent. Breakfast was standard BW food that you see everywhere. At the time we were there baseball kid teams stayed there as well, and you could hear it. Ear plugs are always useful during vacation :-)
The staff here has gone above and beyond for me! Heather & the owner were just terrific. I stay here whenever I come to Fort Myers. It really is worth it and whenever there is a problem, no one has an issue when dealing with it. Thank you so much!
Not bad at all, not bad. Staying 3 nights for work I have in the area; I usually have my company book my in an extended stay so I can cook my own food but there weren't any reasonably priced ones in the area for these dates so they booked me here. Room is VERY spacious, I'm sure I could do a cartwheel in here. Instead of a random chair near the bed, they have a recliner. Let me say that again, the room has a RECLINER. The ac unit works perfectly, kicks on quite often to keep the room cool but isn't overly loud. What sold me was the breakfast, they spare no expense. Upon check-in the breakfast area may not look like much, but they have eggs, sausage patties, fresh (not waxy or tiny) fruit, yogurt, and muffins I would normally expect to see behind glass at starbucks. I really like to get a good amount of protein in the morning, which many hotels lack, but they deliver in droves. Stay here.
Find somewhere else to stay this place is a mess and outdated. The staff was fine but the lobby was being renovated so it was torn apart, loud and the breakfast area was a mess with construction debris and walls ripped apart. The rooms smelled musty and décor was outdated. The pool area had construction workers hanging out at the tables and the pool had debris inside it was very unappealing.
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel, it is clean ,Friendly staff, Comfortable bed, Nice quiet rooms Breakfast was good and fresh , pool area could use some sprucing up, I would recommend this motel. They are people orientated
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, it is undergoing renovations and that makes it seem untidy. The first room we had, had a few issues, the safe wouldn't lock, the hair dryer didn't work and neither did some of the plug points, staff changed our room and all was well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is complimentary and adequate, nothing fancy. My only real negative comment would be that the coffee in the rooms isn't very nice at all, and my husband was not impressed with the tea. Overall and taking the price of our stay into consideration this hotel is value for money and convenient for visiting places in and around Fort Myers.
I stayed here this past Monday. The lobby is under renovation until next month but they have very nice offering for your inconvenience. Even with the renovation the hotel is stilt nice and quiet. This is my second or third stay and I look forward to returning next month. Heather at the front desk is so welcoming and very accommodating.
Everything was fine , although there were major works going on in the breakfast room , compensated by free bottled water and several candies and snacks.Pity but necessary! Best Western should also have thinner pillows available ; you find the same big/fat pillows in every BW and some people have neck problems afterwards !!!!
We are looking to relocate down here and stayed here in Aug and definitely came back here for another time in Nov. Clean hotel, helpful and friendly staff. Great amenities. Will return here again during our relocating process.
We like the Best Western Hotels for its service, cleanliness and value. They have many locations throughout the United States and offer the best value for every visit. I would recommend staying at Best Western to all my friends.
Never stayed at a Best Western, but I enjoyed it. Perfect location with many restaurants near by. Went to visit friends plus celebrate my wife and son birthday. The hotel staff is very friendly and will highly recommend others if they're planning to stay in Ft. Myers. Also travellers, please visit Sun Harvest. It's a factory that sells fresh juice. You won't be disappointed. Best Western, thank you for a wonderful stay.
Their maintenance seems to be under par.. I had a toilet that didn't shut off often (noisy).. a light switch on the lamp adjacent to the bed that worked only sometimes, a closet door that didn't want to operate in its tracks, and the airconditioner will keep you awake nites.. seems to me that it was better on my last stay there.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights. To us, it was not the same old, same old. It was spotless, beautiful room and king bed, tropical colors, staff was fantastic. The lobby is unusually beautiful with high ceilings and really pretty furniture and accessories and decorating. The parking lot is shady. The pool area is private and very attractive, has a private house look rather than some chain hotel look. Someone complained on an Expedia review the pool was not heated???good grief! it's located in southwest FLORIDA! Who needs a heated pool there! The breakfast was really nice, just wish it was not the same things every day. The woman at the front desk was dealing with a difficult person on the phone one day and she handled it with great patience and grace and kindness. This hotel is across a small street from a Dairy Queen and is centrally located to everything we had wanted to see including the famous citrus place. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone. It may be just off a big main road but it seems a quiet world removed.
this is a wonderful place to stay. the breakfast is very well laid out and it has a great variety of food. it is a hot breakfast and you can eat by the pool. the rooms are clean and well maintained. this hotel is located right next door to DQ and within walking distance of a sports bar. both are great for late night snack as well as dining.
We had a suite looked brand new, great mattress. The entire staff was excellent and the Breakfast buffet was better than average with a generous selection. There was a laundry room, a two computers for use with a printer, a small work out room enough ice machines and a nice waiting area
Upon entering the hotel lobby a strong order filled the air. It smelled just like a bar. The csr who attended us didn't have our reservations. I had to call the 800 # in front of him because even with the reservation # he still couldn't find us. This was not very convenient as we drove long distance and it was 1:30am. We were very tired and not in the mood to resolve this so late in the night. But on the flip side, the room was clean, but refrigerator made noises all night. The hotel needs a lot of updating but ok just for a nights sleep.
Bed creaked at every move. Pillows were hard as a rock. Closet opening sounded like inner sanctum. Did not care for the "fake" eggs nor the 'quality of the plastic utensils or the "fake" orange juice. Also one of the printers were jammed at the internet center in the lobby.
I admit that I was skeptical when booking. Howevee, I'm glad I did. It was a very pleasant stay, the room were clean, staff were extremely pleasant. The continental breakfast was the superb. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
The hotel is aging and needs updating and attention to cleaning. We were there 8 nights & request service only 2 of those nights and only clean towels and amenities were provided. The bedding was not changed and it did not appear that the floor was vacuumed.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and on the day we checked out I was itchy and had visible bites all over my body. I know this type of thing can't always be controlled but when I called to let them know they were rude, dismissive and basically told us that they didn't care. They offered no guidance or assistance and we ended up spending the afternoon at a laundry mat to make sure we didn't have or bring any critters with us. Empathy or even a kind gesture to help us with laundry would have been better. NO accountability after they have your money. Sad.
