Leisure Beautiful water view but you are living in squalor. Even at half the price, this property wouldn't be worth it for me. There was not even a drop of water in the bathroom. What a disaster. Photos are misleading.

Enjoy the hotel and the kids too pool fishing pier drinks by the bar we were with baseball tournamnent and family Would difinately go again liked the resutrants in the area the rooms were spacious and love the balcony

The view is beautiful. Checking in and out was quick & easy. Pleasant, professional staff. The Room was clean. Great having a balcony. Pool was awesome. I plan on staying again. Value for your money is pretty good. I just think everything should cost less. My sister and I were really happy with our stay.

Booked for 3 nights for funeral. The very first night at 1:30 am I was awaken by sound from glass sliders. I get out of bed and as I approach the door, a man starts to come into the room from our 2nd floor balcony. I (male) hollered and he apologized and stated he was homeless and very fast got off balcony to the ground. The doors security pin is NOT effective and evidence that the door had been opened from outside on prior occasions. Notified front desk and they told me to go back to bed and calm down, she would notify police. Evidently, they only rent the rooms out to people outside of Fort Myers and the Police informed me that the surrounding area was a haven for Homeless. For the safety of my wife and family, I would NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Room was dated and beat. The room was also very dark. We arrived around 10 and nothing felt welcoming. Also a crib or pack and play are not offered. There are a lot of hotels in that area and we would have chosen a different one.

This is a little older hotel, but the location is excellent and the views amazing. View from my room was panoramic of the bay. Also, downtown Ft. Myers is minutes away - with awesome dining options and nice little bars to grab a couple of drinks. Really a great spot!

Rooms are completely outdated! I had to run out to buy air fresheners and carpet deodorizer as my room smelled like mold or a wet dog! It was disgusting! If I wasn't there for a family funeral, we would have left and found something else! My parents were in the room next door and the first night, a homeless man climbed to their 2nd floor balcony & broke into their room while sleeping at 1:30 in the morning!!! My father called the front desk and was told by the ignorant female working the desk to Go back to sleep, the police will handle it!!! Poor Poor attitude! Let her be in that situation and let's see how she feels! Never again at this hotel!

My husband and I had an enjoyable time. We loved the view in the morning from our private balcony of the pool, pier & bridge and in the evening the lights were spectacular! If I would highly recommend staying here for a getaway!

I stayed at this wonderful hotel, on April 16-17/2022. My experience was so ecstatic, that I recommended and booked this hotel for my mother's HHA (home health assistant). The room they were assigned was not the greatest, but I only had to make a call and MAY, did her best effort to accommodate them. They are currently having the best night stay ever, and the weekend is young. This facility has it all....excellent view, location, and on-site fantastic restaurant. Breakfast with Anita, simply priceless....Best stay in Fort Myers by far. But, most of all, kind manners with MAY will get you a long way. She has heart of gold, treat her right!!!

The hotel was not very clean, rooms were dirty, and it was impossible to get clean towels in our room. We had to go to front desk to request them every day. Our friends room had bugs in it, and the hotel did nothing to help the situation.

We booked an oversize king room. We asked for the West Tower on the sixth floor. When we checked in we did get a room on the 6th floor but in the East Tower. Now we don't like the East Tower as the views aren't as nice as the West Tower. Also, we did request a specific room in the West Tower. But the room was nice. We did enjoy it. There was a continental breakfast that was served and we went down to the restaurant for this. We got to the restaurant at about 9:00 am and the room was crowded. We did find a place to sit and I went to go and get my husband and me a glass of orange juice and there wasn't any. Most of the food was gone. There was cereal available, I don't know about milk. They only offered omelets with peppers in it and some sausage links. There wasn't much of this available. I ate a couple of sausage links. I don't do omelets or peppers. I was going to get a bagel and fruit, they were out of that also. My husband said that his omelet was cold as were my sausage links, his were too. There were still people coming in at 9:30 am for breakfast and the staff was cleaning up and putting the appliances and food away. We didn't go back for breakfast for the rest of our stay. I will say that the views at this hotel overlooking the river are amazing and that is what we were there for. This hotel is old and is in need of a lot of updating. We have been coming to this hotel for about 12 + years and nothing has changed. The rooms are looking tired, and old. They are not updated to accept a lot of the electronics that we all have today to charge. I do take a USB outlet that I plug into the wall so that we can plug our phones, hearing aids, computers, and other electronics into it to charge them. I would also suggest a new a/c system for the rooms as they weren't as cold as we would have liked.

Love this hotel, very friendly workers. Receptionists are very polite, helpful and patients. Restaurant is excellent, food is delicious. Close to the mall and town. Also, is close to the beaches and Broadway Palm Theater.

My husband and I took a spur of the moment trip to Fort Myers and stayed at this Best Western. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, fun fishing and awesome view of the river. So glad we found it.

Checked in went to elevator as we on 4th floor. Someone told us doesn't work. So went to lobby, asked what was up. A maid (Solena) proceeded to scream at me, litterly wanted to fight!! She even told the front desk gal to not let us stay! She was mad because we didn't know there had been a storm and blew the elevator. Never been treated so rudely like her... shocking!! Plus nobody offered to help us pack luggage up 4flights. Anyway, blew her off and the hotel room nice, restaurant great, location is good,complimentary breakfast good. Other staff was fine, Solena should be fired. Oh we are FOE members and there is one across tbe street! Whoo hoo

The view from the room was awesome! The front desk was very helpful! Liked them having a atm machine in the office made it easier to get cash out ! Recently was forced out of our rental home the owners sold the property leaving me and my family homeless! If this is the new America I'm really not interested in it !

Checked in on a Friday at 3:17pm… in room at 3:33pm no safe boxes .. removed a diamond ring and placed in a bag and put under pillow … ( stupidly I admit)… went to pool and came back to room approx 5:15pm Changed for dinner and realized ring was gone …went to front desk .. unhelpful and could care less … police called and report filed No cameras no safe box no protection for guests Front desk manager Amanda and Nelson unhelpful Door reader failed twice on my door to see if anyone entered my room other than myself but worked on another door … I believe it was an inside job and an employee stole my diamond ring Cooperate office in Arizona useless also and could care less

We had a 2-night reservation which we made through Hopper so it was prepaid nonrefundable. Upon checked in we were given room #111 which was handicapped equipped - quite often this is a plus since they are usually quite roomy. It was the darkest, most depressing, old and dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen. Our room came with our own supply of gnats and small fleas which I spent a bit of time killing. The sliders had no screens so they couldn't be opened, slider tracks were filthy and had dead bugs in them and the rubber backing on the curtains was all stained with what looked like bug remains! Looked like something from a Mike Hammer murder mystery!!! We decided we could not spend a second night there so we made a reservation at a Marriott Residence Inn. Upon checkout one day early we informed the desk clerk about our issues but she seemed unfazed about the condition of the room. We plan on taking up the nonrefundable issue with Hopper.

Room VERY noisy (room already best category with view) due to unrepaired door frame and window frames as well as AC and fridge. Balcony unusable due to tons of insects. Other then that OK basic breakfast (not as bad as mentioned in other reviews). Carpet was wet for half a day due to prior „cleaning“.

Please forgive the lengthy review, but you need the full story. We had reserved a room with two queen beds, non-smoking, river view for a 2-night stay. When we arrived to check in at 3pm we were told the room wasn't ready, but that we had a very nice room. We could return at 4pm (which was their actual check in time). We decided to just grab a drink at the on site restaurant while we waited. Check in went smoothly, however once at our room we discovered a very small room with one full bed. The room was river view. There was no mention of not being able to accommodate our confirmed room category at check-in. We were so exhausted from our days travel that we just decided, in that moment, to live with it for the 2 nights we were there. We dropped our bags and took a brief nap. When we awoke, we discovered that there was some species of flying insect all over the ceiling as well as another small insect crawling on some of the furniture. At this point, due to the insects and the general condition of the room I decided to call and speak with the front desk to attempt to get the room category we had reserved. The front desk agent was immediately very dismissive and said they had no other rooms available. She could send maintenance to deal with the insects. Before calling, I had checked the hotel website to see if any room categories showed as available for the dates of our stay. There were two categories showing as available. When I mentioned this to the front desk agent she became agitated and rude and suggested I "go ahead and book it then". Needless to say I was quite irritated by her attitude. I ended the call and then called our travel provider. The result of that call was that the hotel did not have another room available for us to move that night, but possibly may be able to for the following night. They said I could check in with the front desk after check-out time the following day. We were visiting family in the area and had a busy schedule. We did not bother to request the room change for the 2nd night. We did not want to deal with an uncomfortable situation, and the inevitable poor customer service from the front desk. I need to add that the maintenance person, although he was courteous, had no solution for the insect problem. We had to suggest that he try using a vacuum to get rid of the insects. He said he only worked 2 days per week and didn't know if he could get a vacuum! While we waited for the maintenance person to return and deal with the insects we used tissues, stood on a chair, and killed nearly all of them ourselves. Some of them were already dead, so this was not a new situation. In addition to the insect issue, the room was very worn and dirty. The floors and air vents clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was a drop ceiling in the bathroom with an operating vent fan underneath. You could hear it but not see it. As we returned to the hotel on that first night we witnessed an employee, wearing a tie, urinating in shrubs in front of the hotel. After returning from the trip I followed up with our travel provider and attempted to get a refund. The hotel refused any compensation. Our travel provider ended up crediting us $200, which didn't even cover one nights stay.

This hotel is terribly managed. during my 5 night stay my room was never cleaned and I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. Completely unacceptable. It's a shame because location is excellent, quick 2 minute drive into downtown Fort Myers and great views of the river from the balcony but cleanliness and service rule and this hotel fails miserably.

This hotel made an unauthorized $40 charge on my credit card after I had checked out, falsely claiming we had put a hole in the wall. After repeated phone calls, I was able to get a manager to credit the charge, but it never should have happened. The hotel room was clean, but in need of many updates. Their rates are way too expensive for the quality of the rooms they offer.

Great location, great views, restaurant on site was perfect, good breakfast. Pool was heated and good for laps. two days in a row a Dolphin pair was hanging out by the pool and the boat docks. Would definitely stay again.

Paid for a room with water view and got the view of the back of the restaurant. The breakfast was terrible, OJ and apple juice was out, and the eggs were burnt. If you stay here request a room on the 3rd floor or higher

This hotel needs a major upgrading. The location is good but the rest was more like a 2-star hotel. There were water stains on the sealing in the bathroom, there were bed blankets, only a white sheet, no shampoo. The check in was 1 hour delayed because our room was not ready. The staff wanted us to check-out on time, otherwise, it will be considered a late check-out and will charge us a fee. The breakfast was very primitive, there were no botlles of water. This is the worst Best Wetern hotel I have ever stayed at.

Stayed here last year and this year in March. Nice location and rooms. Corner rooms much larger! We were robbed in our room and never received a call from Management. VERY disappointing even after multiple requests.

We have been coming here for over ten years and have always had a very relaxing time . It would be hard to beat the location, beautiful view of the river. The 3 Fisherman's restaurant is a very good place to go and have a good view of the landscape and water thee food is pretty good as well.

Arrived in Ft Myers about 1 pm, we knew the check in time was 4 so we went to the 3 Fishermen Restaurant to kill some time. Went to front desk at 4 to get our room as we were exhausted, wasn't ready. We were offered a ground level room but was told the room we were waiting for "would be worth the wait". We gave the front desk my husband's cell phone number to let us know when the room was ready as apparently they get notification when they are. 7pm comes around, no phone call. We'd been up since 2am that day, all we wanted was the room. Went back to the front desk and asked Christian why we weren't called, his reply "no one's perfect". OMG! Not looking for perfection dude, just the room we were promised at 4! Then he had the balls to roll his eyes at my displeasure, real professional. We played by their rules and waited til 4, the least they could've done is called us when the room was ready! The owner should close the hotel for 2 weeks and clean the crap out of it. The air return filters were disgustingly caked with dust and God knows what, ceiling had crushed bugs on it, mirror in bathroom had dead bugs in it, water pressure left something to be desired. The best part of the room was the view. Not impressed, will not return.

Nice hotel, has river shuttle to visit other restaurants and restaurant on site with others close by. Our room had nice view of Waterfront except for the roof of the restaurant below. Maybe clean up and paint would help. Staff friendly and good parking.

Requested non pet room on original on-line reservation, again with call to property the day before arrival - got a pet friendly room that reeked of perfume. They paid no attention to this request. Made an anonymous call to make sure they offered rooms that are NOT pet friendly, which we were told they do. Though the room was clean, spacious with a great balcony view, the smell was overwhelming. Not pleasant. Called hours ahead, was told will try to have room ready for early check-in. At 2:30, room not ready which is understandable. But when I asked about how long, desk clerk got testy and tersely replied check-in is at four which they made sure I waited the duration. Right at 4, room was ready. Was weird. Room was okay, made it through despite the smell, but staff was unpleasant.

Title says it all plus great quality poolside restaurant for convenient food and beverages. The balcony overlooking the water was a real plus. Also, why go to the breakfast place across the parking lot when you get a great breakfast on-site and is included.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. We were on the third floor and could see the restaurant next to us, but we still enjoyed the spectacular river view from our balcony. All staff were super friendly and helpful, and room was cleaned daily per our request. Beds were very comfortable. Small problem with TV remote was quickly rectified. Included daily breakfast at the restaurant was great. I'd definitely stay there again.

Room was not cleaned, the previous customers dirty towels were left on back of bathroom door. There was poop on bathroom wall, and black hair in tub and floor. When spoke to manager she did nothing. The view only thing this place has going for it. Ruined first leg of our trip

We stayed at the Best Western Waterfront in North Fort Myers, where the 3 Fishermen restaurant is located. We had dinner there the first night that we arrived. We ordered the Grilled Snapper, Baked Potato, and the applesauce. It was good. This is a casual place with a very nice staff. We also were able to get complimentary breakfasts there as part of our package with BWW. So one of us ran downstairs, picked out our breakfast (omelet, sausages, and a waffle) and coffee. We ate it on our view balcony and it hit the spot! They have outdoor seating by the pier with a great view. It worked well for us as we were always in a hurry.

Found out hotel is NOT smoke free! Over the 5 days we stayed, for two days a smoker was in the next room- smoking a cigar on the balcony- which I found out you are allowed to smoke there. However, we have stayed 3 times at this hotel and twice there was a smoker next door. To make this worse, out air conditioning broke down (smelling electrical wiring short through the night) for 3 nights (no others rooms available), and now we could not open our balcony door or go on the balcony because of the terrible cigar smell! Oh, did I mention the toilet stopped working for two days before that because of a valve malfunction- however, I could flush it my putting my hand in the tank to shake the float! The beds are comfortable and the staff is nice, but this hotel is way too expensive to take a chance with this older hotel to cause problems. The hotel misleads you about being smoke free.

When we arrived my 83-year-old mother was approached by a man that was either on drugs or intoxicated, homeless and he was asking her for money, scared her to death! Then we got into our room that was dirty, garbage, cigarette ashes and butts on the patio. The bathroom floor was filthy, dried coffee on the floor by the garbage and dead bugs and human hair on the floor behind the door, it took 3 calls at different times to get the room cleaned.

We were in Fort Myers visiting friends and stayed there ...the room was very clean as was the bathroom....we had a balcony with a partial water view and even the partial view was nice from the balcony ....we ate there too so everything room ...restaurant & bar was all in the same area ,definitely would stay there again ...

Staff were nice, & professinal, view from room was a plus. Room was not cleaned as well as it should have been, we had no blankets until we asked. Ants in & around the dresser & desk area. Ceiling tile in bathroom was full of water & leaking from AC drain not being cleaned out regularly we were concerned about mold the entire stay. Was repaired as a quick fix. Front desk said that that type of leak happens often due to location of AC unit. Carpet was very old needed to be cleaned or removed. Had to wear flip flops while in the room. Breakfast was a plus & saved a few dollars. Good Location & View were the best things about this hotel. Needs to be updated badly,

The hotel was very nice. Staff very helpful. View from the balcony was beautiful. I was here on business in downtown and it was only 5 minute drive to the location from the hotel. Very convenient. Would happily recommend this to anyone.

I have been to a lot of hotels in all 48 states this year traveling on my motorcycle and this is my favorite. I love how you can go to the restaurant and eat and drink as much as your want and walk to your room. The bartenders there are so good it is like they can read your mind and know what your want. The atmosphere is so great there. I highly recommend and check our the mind reader bartender who is short with long black hair who wears crazy socks

Upon my arrival, I had the pleasure of meeting the nicest young lady that assisted us with our reservation!! I kindly requested her name under the fact that most people only write to report when something goes wrong. Instead, we must commend the people that do their job graciously. So here's a shout out to Amanda Smith, the sweetest smile at the front desk. Yet, and not least, and by all means the kindest lady ever, Anita at the breakfast restaurant.....oh what a shower of kindness at breakfast...Must not be missed!! Equally as nice, were all the people that worked at this facility. Rooms were extremely well made, and most importantly clean. My wife and I felt we were on a cruise ship....WE WILL BE BACK!!!! Thanks to Amanda's reflection and advise, we visited a small town north of Fort Myers....Venice. 100% recommendable!!! And thanks to Anita, my wife gained 3 pounds, thank you Anita!!!!! I love her happy!!! My kind regards to the tall, pretty, and cheerful young lady that works super hard along with Anita at the breakfast restaurant....THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING OUR STAY --- UNFORGETTABLE !!! The water view is relaxing. Nice place to get away. On business, nice place to sleep, eat and relax. Will return again. Service, check in all excellent. Only problem, no vent fan in bathroom! Excellent place to relax and eat good seafood.

We had booked the superior river view king room which had an exterior corridor. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The room was clean but we were disappointed with the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast area. We passed on breakfast as there were some tables that needed to be cleaned and when we stopped in, people were waiting for some eggs and other dishes to be brought out. We also never received any water or goody bag for being reward members. Having a balcony was nice but sometimes it was loud sitting on the balcony as it was by the bridge. Honestly, we did expect better service from this Best Western.

Centrally located in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral metro area. View from the hotel is wonderful. Fort Myers downtown is directly across the River. Easy road access to Cape Coral and South to Fort Myers and to the beaches.

The hotel was very clean, the staff in the breakfast room was constantly cleaning after people left the table. Also the floors where cleaned right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check in and check out time was easy and fast. It was a vacation right from the beginning without stress.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and have been very happy. We booked a King Size Suite with a Superior view of the Caloosahatchee River on the 6th floor. When we checked in we were told that our room had been changed to two Queen size beds in a suite. We weren't happy about this and asked why, and why didn't one call us or contact us about this. They didn't answer. Now mind you we are rewards members. We did tell them that if we had known we were getting two Queen beds we would have canceled our reservations. We drove over two hours to this location. The manager didn't care. We were given one welcome bag for the two of us and it had one bottle of water and a bag of cookies and a granola bar. We were told our room was on the 4th floor of the west building. I said, oh good so I get to look at the air-conditioning and not the river. I am sitting g here on our balcony right now writing this looking at the air conditioners and the roof of the adjoining g restaurant as I knew I would be. Not a superior view of this wonderful river. The keys wouldn't work when we got our room either. So my husband had to go back to the front desk to complain. He said they weren't that apologetic. We will not be staying here again. I will be looking for another place to stay on the waterfront and close to the Historic Downtown Ft Myers area, which we love so much.

Bedrooms are dark and outdated. Bathroom are disgusting. I used it as little as possible. Mildew in the shower. Toilet was running. Which they quickly fixed. Tv defaults to Spanish and we had to use the controls on the back to English. Bathroom door was stuck and the running water from the leaky toilet stopper made me think someone was in our bathroom. View was ok. I imagine that higher floors are better. We were right on top of the pool.

This hotel was highly recommended by my wife's cousin, who had spent a few nights on the 5th floor while planning for a surprise 90th birthday party for my wife's uncle. Cousin admittedly considers herself a "hotel snob", and is considered to have high taste by family. I arrived the evening of Sept 16th with my wife, daughter, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, and we got 1st floor rooms with a water view, close to each other to help our 85 yr old mother-in-law. The first thing we noticed as we walked into our room was what appeared to be ash or remnants of dry rotted hard foam. My wife, a neat and clean freak, was horrified. I took a photo and immediately went to the front desk and spoke to Hunter, a great lady doing the best she can with what she's got. I've attached the photo to this review. We got new sheets, and we determined that it must have been large dark dust balls from the vents on the wall next to the bed that appeared not to have been cleaned or dusted in years. Because it was so late, a little after 10pm, we gathered and ate delivered food in my room before going to bed. When we got together in the morning to wait for the rest of the family to arrive, as we were all going to stay in this hotel, we all had the same comment, "I can't believe Donna put us in this hotel" We spoke among ourselves and the common complaint - our rooms showed their age and are in DESPERATE and IMMEDIATE need of AT LEAST fresh paint, fresh colors and updated decor!!!! The outside view and grounds are awesome, love the long docks out back, the staff VERY friendly and accomodating But once we walked into our rooms, the nice warm fuzzy feeling went away, there was not a sense of comfort or cleanliness. AND the bathroom did not have a vent!!! I hit the light switch several times thinking initially that maybe the vent was not working, but after looking around discovered there is no vent! We spoke with our cousin who recommended the hotel and she about fell over. Her room on the 5th floor was amazing, and she walked through our rooms to see for herself. Staff amazing, condition of some rooms not so much, needs to be updated with fresh paint and colors!

From the time you arrive till when you leave, just relaxing. All you need is there. Nice river front views, internet, great for streaming, nice breakfast and most importantly, great staff !! Friendly and take care of things. Also very reasonably priced. I travel a lot, you will not be disappointed.

absolutely horrible. what a dirty property and poorly taken care of. found a piece of I think brownie or maybe it was dried up feces, behind the desk. Asked for a Manager and I am still waiting for a call. I feel cheated and robbed way to much money for what was offered. No value at all!

I stayed here last weekend for two nights and the stay was pleasant. Check in went smooth. The room was clean and roomy. There were no issues with this stay at all. Breakfast was located at the onsite restaurant in the morning. Good selection to choose from. Staff was friendly and professional. Plenty of parking and a nice view of downtown Ft. Myers and the water.

We stayed here for 2 nights and of the 5 hotels we stayed at on our trip this was one of our two favorites. Great atmosphere, great complimentary breakfast. Staff were very friendlyt and helpful. I'd stay here again.

Hotel needs updated and staff need trained in customer service. Customer service used to be provided as part of training and the hiring process years ago, what happened to this training. For anyone looking to start your own business start thinking customer service training gurus.

Pretty setting but hotel could use some TLC. Stairways are very dirty, could use a good pressure washing. Room was good size. Cheap quality, uncomfortable old bedding with no blanket or bedspread. Towels adequate. Room appeared clean but had a strong odor of urine/pet. Hair dryer didn't work but was replaced quickly. Little patio with chairs. The refrigerator they should have forgotten. First it was in the closet, taking up most of it. Second it was so small nothing would fit in it and the inserts on door for drinks were broken off. So useless!!! No pool towels during visit. Pool was nice size well kept. Grounds ok. Very nice restaurant and great quality on site! Be careful some of the rooms on first and second floor are behind a building, no view and very closed in. Even some third floor over look roof of restaurant.

We were very happy with our stay at this Best Western! The staff was friendly and helpful, and gave us some good suggestions for restaurants and attractions in the area. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (we got there before check-in), but one of the staff members went to personally clean the room and we were able to enjoy a coupon from the on-site restaurant while we waited. After lunch we picked up our keys and were ready to go! The room was very nice; spacious and clean. The bathroom was large as well and had plenty of counter space for all of our toiletries. The balcony provided a great view, and we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the weather and views. The 3 Fishermen restaurant that is on-site was a nice place for dinner, with a good variety of food and drinks. They also have the continental breakfast there in the mornings; there was a nice selection and the staff was friendly at breakfast as well. Due to covid, we were advised that housekeeping wouldn't automatically clean our room every day, but that if we needed a refresh, or any new towels or linens to just call the desk and they would bring whatever we needed. There was an ample supply of towels for our needs, so we never asked for anything new. I think this is a great way to reduce water and energy use for a hotel (who really needs fresh sheets every single day?), and we would be fine with that policy even in a non-pandemic world. Overall we were very happy with our stay, and would recommend this Best Western to friends who were visiting Fort Myers. We had a nice room with a beautiful view at a great value.

This Best Western is one of my favorites, we have been coming here at least (2) times a year for approximately (6) years and we have always had excellent service. The only thing I would like to see them do since I'm older would be to install high rise toilet, this is not a deal breaker it would be nice to have.

Love the Motel , however the rooms are a bit outdated , We will be staying here again next month , I just hope it is a bit updated , the view is incredible , the pool was lovely , the restaurant is Great !

Went there at 4th July. Everything was exceptional. We didn't had any problem through check in and till we check out. The front desk people were friendly. Housekeeping did clean rooms and maintain the COVID guidelines

This hotel looks like it hasn't been updated since 1980. It is dirty and smells dank. The beds are uncomfortable and the internet is weak. It has a nice river view but really that is the only good part. The free breakfast was the same reheated omelets every day. Luckily there is an IHOP next door

If you're looking for a hotel with very clean rooms, ultra comfortable mattresses, pillows and linens, a large, crystal-clear pool, helpful and polite staff, a lovely view from your private balcony and restaurants within walking distance ~ all for a great price, you won't be disappointed with BW Ft. Myers Waterfront. I've paid much more to stay at properties that were not of this caliber. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Ft. Myers.

Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and would definitely stay here again. There are a few minuses, but not much. The hotel is a bit dated and showing it's age. Our room was small. There was some street noise. All of these really weren't an issue. While the hotel is dated, it was clean and everything worked. Our room was small, but there were only two of us, there was a nice balcony overlooking the water which also gives you a little more space. Not much furniture other than a bed and desk. I didn't want to sit on the bed to read, so I sat on the desk chair and used the room chair as a foot rest; not the most comfy, but it was fine. Running the fan eliminated any street noises and we slept well. There is a breakfast and that was pretty good. There were juices, coffee, 2 kinds of cereal (kids and adult) bread and bagels for toasting, a waffle machine, and some premade egg things. I was surprised there wasn't any yogurt , and only apples and oranges, no bananas. We didn't go hungry, though. When booking I saw there was an option for water view. I didn't select that , so I was very pleasantly surprised to have gotten one. Truthfully all of the rooms face the water. Only the lower floors in the middle wouldn't have a view. I was on the 4th floor, in the middle and had a lovely view. 5th and 6th floor would be completely unobstructed.

We decided to stay at this hotel since saw it online and they offered view of the water and full breakfast. Upon arrival the hotel looked decent. Our view was view of the roof of the restaurant which closed at 8 pm so we ended up walking to the Mexican restaurant near by. She also never told us the bar site was still open. After dinner we walked on the pier and saw the bar was still open. Bathroom was outdated, grout was dirty, you could barely open the door since it was touching the ceiling. Mattress was hard, blanket was 2 sets of sheets, no movie channels. Fridge was in the closet. Full breakfast was toast and cereal. I don't think we will ever stay at this location for this price. I had better stays at motel 6 for half the cost

Do not stay here room was disgusting stains under bed woke up with bites on my legs and arms mattress smelled poorly lamp shades and carpet was dirty front door did not close properly with gaps in between

Not that great. Found a large bug in the sink. Not good. A lot of screaming. The nice front desk person, came w a broom to get it at 12:30 am. He never found it. So I didn't sleep all night. Really needs to be updated. Pool was closed. Going home early!!!

Found this hotel for our last minute trip. Loved the water view and the pool. The location is easy to get to. The room could use some updates. We booked am oversized room, and we liked having some extra space. Staff is friendly, pool is great (it has a deep end with 8ft) if you have kids, and we definitely used it a lot. Could use a few more umbrellas for some shade. There are a few restaurants close by, and one right on the premises. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would book it again.

What an amazing place! My son and I had the best time! Very nice pool, great location, wonderful view of the water and the Ft Myers skyline.Great little restaurant, the best complimentary breakfast bar ever! And the price was great! Can't wait to go back!

Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful with accommodations. We had 4 rooms for a business trip and decided to all stay at this hotel. Nice and spacious rooms that all had a great view day or night to the river. Hot breakfast provided and free wifi. Will definitely be returning soon!

My son left his backpack in room. Called the front desk the see if they found it as I was still in Ft Meyer for a week. . They said I had to call housekeeping. Housekeeping did not answer but I left multiply messages with no call backs. Wrote it off as a loss. Got a call two weeks later apologizing for the delay and they said they had it and would bring to front desk. Front desk said they would ship it to me. Two days later received a call from packmail saying they needed $40.58 to ship my backpack. First I would have picked up my backpack if I had been called when they found it. It seems front desk and housekeeping do not communicate at all. Second after apologizing for poor service in the delay and saying you will ship it without saying you be charged is deceptive and bad business practice. Called Best Western who said it was up to the Hotel. There are much better my trustworthy options in Ft. Meyers. Do not stay here. .

My husband and I are avid weekend get away(ers). When we don't have our children we love checking out new places we haven't been. We stayed in room 111 which was handicapped access corner room. It was huge and the view was incredible. We got dinner at the nearby restaurant and ate on our beautiful balcony. No frills room, but very clean with great air conditioning. For the price can't be beat!

The hotel has a great location on the water. The staff were super kind. They offered a discount on drinks at two local places. The midge bugs were AWFUL! They do have a sign at reception that describes what they are, but the amount of them was crazy! My husband literally got a midge stuck in his eye! The pool location was super nice with a great view!

Great location and views however not for some rooms. Thought I booked a “superior” River view room but the reservation email did not give the room type description. I ended up with a larger room with an ugly view of the restaurant roof. Elevator didn't work the first day requiring us to haul or luggage up the stairs. Lots of bugs (dead and alive) around the entrance door and on the balcony. Toilet water ran every few minutes. The restaurant on property was good and the breakfast set up was good as well. This motel does have great views and is in a pretty location. Unfortunately Ours wasn't that great. Hindsight would help with that but not the broken elevator, noisy toilet in a room with a card asking us to conserve water and a bunch of dead bugs.

Our room smelled horrible and it was not clean at all. The old room key from another guest on the nightstand should have been a sign. The bathroom had hair in tub and floor and the glass was dirty. It appeared the room hadn't been cleaned.

Although the view is beautiful, the place was dirty. Elevator broke- we had to walk up/down 5 flights for a day. Carpets made our feet black. Smelled too. Got a new room on first floor with no apologies or discount. New room was just as bad. Front desk took forever to answer phone.

Check in was great. Food was awesome and the bartenders are very nice. We had the shrimp and tacos. Both where great. We really felt like regular customers there. Rooms where clean and everything you needed.

The room was dirty. The room had candy scattered around the floor that my puppy ended up eating before I noticed. The bed only had sheets on it and the shower wasn't cleaned. It had little hairs all in it.

Mother and daughter trip with one night stay. Could not enjoy stay due to hotel experience.Paid $240 for a night in a oversized non smoking water view room through a third party. Checked in around 11:30am. Hung out at pool until 4:10. Tried to check in and room was not ready. Stood around waiting until 6:30pm when we were finally able to get to our room. The manager and another girl working the front desk said they can not do anything for us and showed no emotions(gave two drink tickets for bar). Walked into a room full of smoke from marijuana, bag over fire alarm with low battery, spider webs and bugs all over the walls and furniture(housekeeping should be cleaning properly by going around the room with a duster after each stay). Called front desk and they said it was coming from another room (it was clearly coming from our room as there is a plastic bag over the fire alarm so it would not go off from the smoky room). I am sensitive to smoke and would love for my mother and I to have a properly working fire alarm. Maintenance man helped us to another room in another building after we were told they were booked and have nothing else available for the night. The room we were moved to was much smaller and was musty. By the time we got to the other room it was after 7pm and we still had to shower before going out to finally eat dinner and miss one of the things we were down there for...the sunset. In the morning at checkout, the manager from the day before said absolutely nothing after our experience. I asked her if she heard about the room situation and she said no, so I explained. She had nothing to say except she will be putting a note in for housekeeping. IF YOU WANT A LONGER VERSION GO TO GOOGLE TO READ THE REVIEW. Also, bring your own bath towels. The hotels are rough and cheap.

When checking into Fort Myers Waterfront BW the front desk informed us we may notice some seasonal bugs (midges) around the hotel but steps were taken to ensure the rooms were clean. While that meant we wouldn't be able to use the balcony overlooking the water we understood and accepted it as a unique time of year. When we got to the room there we hundreds of these flying insects all over the hallway leading to our room AND inside the room. A quick chat with the front desk told us the bugs weren't dangerous but could use a hotel vacuum cleaner to clean them up ourselves. We were also told they could not make another room available. While surprised by it, we did try to make the best of it, vacuumed the bugs and ensured every door/window was sealed before going out for the evening. Returning later that night, again hundreds of flying bugs in the room and a front desk that did nothing more than tell us a manager wasn't available until the next Monday morning. My wife ended up sleeping in the car. If this is a known seasonal issue, there is no excuse for not being better prepared and even less excuses for a hotel manager/staff to not proactively address with solutions once it does go wrong.

We love it at this Best Western. Large clean rooms with great views of the water. The free breakfast was really good. The pool was very clean. We ate at the seafood restaurant and was excellent. Will stay again for sure.

We had a great time during our stay. Room was spacious with a larger than normal hotel refrigerator which allowed us to bring in some groceries for our week stay. Breakfast was provided by hotel with a variety of cereals, breads, fruit and eggs. Nice pool area and towels provided.

I stayed for a week at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw dolphins right off of the dock 4 days. The pool was nice to enjoy over the lunch hour. Breakfast was standard with eggs. The location is perfect right on the water and only a mile from the historic downtown. Be prepared for mayflies in room and outside. March is breeding season and in the morning and at night they are all other on the exterior of the buildings on doors and on the balcony. A broom will easily get them out your room if they fly in. The hotel sprays every other day for them.

This hotel had a beautiful view, pool area looks over the water, and they have a dock for boats and fishing. Beds were comfy and clean. It is located in a safe area with restaurants close by. We had relaxing stay.

Upon arrival, we were severely underwhelmed, as we went to check in we expressed our unease and they front desk assured us that the room we had was "the best". When we went to the room, it smelled terribly musty, it was so damp in there, I sat on the bed for 3 minutes and my pants were damp... Went to front desk to ask for our money back so we could leave as was told that there was no way, despite having 24 hours to cancel. Was given the number for the manager who does not have voicemail or answer the phone. So, now I'm out $230, as we left immediately afterwards. The area is super sketchy and we were very uncomfortable. The hotel staff was unfriendly and not helpful at all.

We arrived at the Hotel and we were told we could not check in until 4pm. Took off for the day to visit my son. Returned to Hotel around 9pm. Upon check in we were told that they were having a problem with flying bugs (Midges) ? At this point I was not going to change hotels. We arrived to our room. Hundreds of bugs were on the outside of the room. No Screens on the doors. We ran into the room quickly to avoid the bugs from entering. We discovered the ceiling over our bed was covered in bugs, the shower was leaking and there was mold in the shower. It just did not feel clean. We called downstairs for another room and we were told they were fully booked. We asked if someone could come and vacuum the ceiling for the bugs. We left early the next morning to continue our visit with our son. We came back and the room was not cleaned. I had to call down at 4pm and ask to have the room cleaned and the bugs vacuumed. The bugs were not vacuumed and the sheets were not changed. The front desk put me on hold and never got back to me. Our last night the bugs were finally vacuumed. We paid $500 for 3 nights, Not what I expected. The room overall had a dirty feeling. I also found it odd that the room did not have screens on the balcony sliders. Overall not a good experience at all. Super disappointed to travel all the way from California to have this experience. Staff was not helpful. The pictures cannot be converted the the trip advisor format.

Front desk staff was amazing, and the overall cleanliness of the rooms were good. Could use some room updating, but wasn't terrible. It was nice to have a breakfast, but during Covid it was very limited. View was amazing, and we enjoyed the location.

We've stayed here a few times and will be back. The river is very wide here offering a beautiful view from the West Tower building. The East Tower overlooks the restaurant roof. Food is good at the restaurant on property. Currently it is a hot continental breakfast or there is an IHOP next door. Large parking lot is shared with BW and IHOP.

We have booked this hotel four years straight and it is a very competent and functional hotel with a great view. Onsite breakfast is good and offers a variety of choices. It is an older hotel and could stand some updates but staff do their job keeping the property clean and rooms tidy. Chris, the groundsperson at the hotel, is outstanding and goes out of his way to ensure the safety and quality of the pool area, parking lot and hotel grounds.

I travel every two months so I am frequently staying at different hotels. This was one of the worst. Tub did not drain, outdated room, and there were several bugs in our room. We were very disappointed.

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely hotel. It was perfect! We had a great view and a spacious room. It was so nice to be able to walk right next door for breakfast at IHOP. The staff was so helpful and courteous. We will definitely be back again!

The hotel was close to $200 a night which included breakfast. We arrived and checked in. Our room was on 4th floor overlooking river. However, when we open balcony doors, hundreds of bugs came in. I tried to call front desk but the phone did not work. I called using my cell phone and they sent someone up with a vacuum cleaner. He said he could do nothing about the bugs. He also said he could not fix phone. The beds in the hotel were old and uncomfortable. I sure expected more from a $200 a night hotel.

My 2nd year staying here, each visit for 10 nights. Really wonderful experience both times. Staff is awesome and respond quickly if you have any issues. Special shout out to Chris HousePerson/Maintenance for doing such a great job, keeps the property clean with an eye on detail, and jumped into action when i told him about a giant spider who made residence on my ground floor balcony. Literally left his cleaning supplies and ran to eradicate my concern. Thank You!! Will be back next year!!

I've stayed here before. It's a nice place. Nice big private balconies. Not the least expensive, but a nice place and they treat you well. Nice pool and restaurant next to each other. Also the two towers are nice and plenty of parking. I'd recommend.

Awful service. Nobody cares. The Management is absent. Consider yourself warned. Service is terrible. Front desk doesn't care and lies. Power problems Plumbing problems and they just don't care Bad bad bad place

The hotel was overrun by mosquitoes. We had to buy spray to kill the mosquitoes in order to get into our room. We could not even use our balacany. We were bit multiple times. The first day, the cleaning person made only one bed up. The second day no room cleaning service at all. I called the front desk and they replied we are short staffed and they had to pick and choose which rooms to clean. They sent clean towels up by a maintenance man. Shortly after that I had to call the front desk because there was no toilet paper. Needless to say, we will never stay there again.

Paid almost $200 per night for a room with a clogged drain, no internet, no working phone and an advertised hot breakfast that was a danish, water and two granola bars. On top of that the ceiling in our bath in the middle of the night started leaking water because of a poorly maintained air conditioner drip pan. Had to have maintenence come and fix. At check out mentioned this to hotel staff and no offer for a discount or future discount stay. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Was great and super affordable! For a honey moon even. Really enjoyed! Didn't try the COvid breakfast as it's not the same, went to the pool and restaurant had fun lots of stuff around it. Interesting little place accomadating will return

Got the room with the balcony and it was truly a beautiful oceanfront view at a great price. Located in a great area. Spotted dolphins and manatees and was able to fish on the pier included by the hotel.

First room had sooo many bugs. I had laid down for a nap and there were five visible..different sizes. Second room, I left ALL belongings in bathroom. Still woke up with a bug crawling on my neck. Manager was not available. When I called the next day, she "had to talk to owner" and never returned the call. AND THEY CHARGED ME!. I had to discard my luggage and literally left with the clothes on my back. Went to Walmart to replace so I could continue my business there. The photos are deceiving. The only thing good was the view. I left in the morning and booked a hotel with no view and was comfortable.

Room was clean, property was clean, everything worked, good internet, and a wonderful view overlooking the river. However, for the price paid for the room (2 beds, not a suite), I was expecting a more modern property. Although clean, it was quite dated.

In one night I moved 2 times due to the cleanliness of the room. 1st room had hundreds of ants on the walls and floor. Also door lock did not work. Complained about room. The move to anew room. Same issue with bugs, but now the bathroom was not clean. Standing water in a clogged sink, dirty towels all over floor. Moved then to a 3rd room. Dirt all over walls and ceiling. It was the worst room I ever stayed in. No restitution at all by the hotel for this experience. Don't stay here

I highly recommend this hotel, rooms are clean, spacious, excellent customer service at front desk. Room service changed the bath towels in a daily basic. Great location, spectacular bay view, easy to check in and check out, great place for the price.

We have been coming to this Best Western for a number of years and have never been disappointed, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the grounds are well maintained .The (3 Fishermen Restaurant) is right on the property between the (2) towers, good food and service. We always make it a point to get a water side room so we can enjoy the many boats and beautiful view, we have had the same room for over (6) years which is close to the elevator and ice machine it just works out great, we always have a very enjoyable time.

the hotel is Old and Dirty , not worth the the $109 per night, will never stay at this brand again. its my first time at this brand , will go back using Marriot and Hyatt hotels, for the same or pretty close value its way better then BW.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, spacious rooms for family, beautiful views, awesome staff, reasonable price, this is our second time staying here and both times were great. The kids have fun, the restaurant is always great, sitting at the pool with the view of the river is relaxing, beautiful dock and beach area to walk around or even fish off the dock. We would definitely recommend!

Problem if you opened the balcony door, it caused the air in the room to shut off. The hotel used extension cords. we had to unplug the lamp in order to plus in our cell phones. Not recommending to anyone we know. Alot of noisy with the traffic & their also is a restaurant that was outside our window.

Lovely view, comfortable bed, easy to get to and very quiet. Unfortunately, we came in at 10 pm and left at 8 am the following morning, so no chance to use other facilities. Breakfast was a “to go” in a paper bag due to Covid.

Nice room, beach view, beautiful yard with chairs to enjoy. Staff very aware of social distance. Minimal contact with breakfast and a variety of options. Jet ski rental available also beach chairs and umbrellas.

Stayed 10 nights while new home was getting finishing touch's. Nice rooms, great views of river, helpful staff. clean rooms and property. Good food at restaurant and fantastic place to sit back and have a drink. Great pool area. Centrally located.

I had no issue with the room or the nice view. But what I do have problems with is the desk staff. I called the front desk it was after 11 at night and there was kids and grown ups running up and down the stairs and hallways screaming as long as they could. They said they would send maintenance. I called two more times nobody did anything it was after 3 am. I went to the front desk in front the morning was going to leave but the lady said she was sorry and it wouldn't happen again that the people checked out. Tried to enjoy the pool Saturday but nobody was monitoring the pool or following covid 19 safe distancing. Had a bunch of drunks with there kids come in. People was jumping over your heads and on you. So went to room couldn't even enjoy sitting on the balcony because the group at the pool was blasting there music. After listening to it for over 5 hours asked the front desk if they could get them to turn it down. Nobody did anything. Well at 11 pm the same group was carrying on in the hallway beating on my door again. It took twice calling the front desk and threatening to call the police before they did anything. The front desk said multiple people was complaining about the group. So when I checked out and I told the lady I was happy and would like the managers number. She told me the manager wouldn't care and was out of town for two weeks. I can understand having fun but you shouldn't have to disturb other people.

Old hotel with old rooms and smells awful, a lot of mosquitos inside the room , broken curtains and lamps , old doors ,old closet doors definitely not well maintained I will give 2 stars for the view which's beautiful

We asked for and received a top floor room which was spotless and very large. The views of the river and skyline from the good sized balcony were great. The bed was good and the bathroom was large and our corner room had a window in the bathroom Everything worked well, there were lots of cable channels, and the internet was fast.

Room was not in working order - tv did not work, toilet not working properly, running after use. Called office to ask to change room. The next room had a bucket of tools on the floor and air conditioning control was also on the floor. The front desk staff was polite but it would seem that maintenance did a poor job. Property not maintained was dirty.

Staying at the best western Waterfront in fort Myers is the place where I love to stay its central to everything. Food, the water views are breathtaking beaches, fishing , what ever you want it's there plus it's my home away from home

Paid extra for bigger room with a better view. All we got to hear & see was a huge group (50+) of people yelling, playing music & kids screaming and slamming the fence in the pool. Door locks are horrible to get unlocked. Only one cart per building. Not worth the stay!

Even with this virus all over the place, especially as bad as it is in Florida, I felt very comfortable spending the night here. It was VERY clean and appealing. Staff was wearing a mask and she (Belle) was extremely courteous and professional. Gave me an upgrade and my room was as comfortable as it could be! I stayed here before, a few years ago, and I would definitely stay here again.

Had to come down for business purposes. Really enjoyed the stay. Bathrooms are very roomy, beds are so comfortable. The view is absolutely breath taking. Close by to shopping areas and gas stations. I told my husband we have to stay here for a getaway. Thank you for some great hospitality!

Our room was on the first floor next to the pool. It was very convenient to walk out our sliding glass door right onto the pool deck. The pool is right on the river - gorgeous views! Our room was very clean and well-maintained. The rates are very reasonable. This is a pet-friendly hotel, and our dog loved vacationing with us! All of the hotel staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The best part of our stay was watching a family of dolphins play next to the dock! We will definitely visit again!

Dark smelly room, bathroom floor greasy and sleepery that I had to cover with towels to not fall. The most uncomfortable bed and worst pillows ever...as hard as sandbags. Woke up with neck pain. Will never return to this hotel. What a nightmare.

We had to leave our home due to some repairs and our stay was excellent. Our room had a beautiful view and was very clean. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The pool area overlooks the river and there is a dock to walk down with a beautiful view as well. There is a restaurant that has outdoor seating that is great as well. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Best Western staff for making our stay great!

It was a difficult decision to write this hotel with three or four stars. The good... Newly furnished Room had a microwave and fridge. Beds and pillows were new and comfy. New carpeting throughout. Good breakfast (and I am not really a breakfast eater. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Free bottles of soap, shampoo etc. I do not care for the automatic dispensers that are becoming so popular. Nice selection of Tv channels Nice pool area. Although it was a bit too chilly to use. Now for the bad Toilet leaked badly and the tub did not drain. Had to change rooms because of the plumbing. Staff assisted with move Tv was not programmed properly and remote did not work. Staff fixed the problem. Tub did not drain the second day in new room either. Not sure if I would stay in this hotel again.

Although the rooms are kind of outdated, they very spacious. We paid extra for riverview, however our room was located at the first floor overlooking the entrance of the restaurant. After a complaint they moved us one floor up and we indeed had a great view overlooking the waterfront. Gym is small but sufficient, breakfast is not something to get excited about here.

This hotel had beautiful views of the river from our room. But the pillows — all four of them — were awful. We could feel lumps of foam within the pillow, and they were very flat. I would never allow guests at my home to sleep in pillows like that. I can't imagine why Best Western thinks no one would notice them!

Great location to Downtown Ft Myers; also is served by a trollie. Three Fishermen Sea Food is located on site, probably the best sea food in the area. The staff is both friendly and acommadating. They go out of there way to help and make your stay enjoyable. the view of the waterfront was breath taking, with daily sailboat school right nextdoor; making it very interesting to watch..

First I'm using my voice command so please excuse punctuation this place had a lot of potential because it is on the waterfront however it fails the room they put me in just was lack luster, fine tuning with the cleaning was not done dust underneath the microwave just haphazardly leaving towels not hanging them nicely not wiping smears off of mirrors, not even wiping the handles of the doors, nor does housekeeping report blown light bulbs. then the pool was not inviting at all they had plenty of lounge chairs However there were no side tables for drinks, magazines, phone or anything then they had two larger round tables but only one of those tables had an umbrella and they only had 4 table chairs the towels they provide are these itty bitty kid towels which is really unacceptable and I don't know why they use these half pillows but they put 4 of them on your bed . who wants a 1/2 pillow I think we all want a whole pillow. The hallways need power washing I could tell for the 4 days that I stayed that they had not cleaned the elevator one day they didn't sweep it, they didn't mop it and they didn't polish the stainless steel the trash cans on the grounds have coffee drippings and they don't bother to wipe that up either they just change the trash bag I don't think this place is that old but it definitely is not cared for well they have plenty of staff so I don't know what management is doing but again it had potential but it fails they don't pay any attention to details there is a Best Western in Naples, FL that is a resort style and it is absolutely fabulous...never again

I booked this hotel for one night's stay when we got into town for a family wedding. I read great reviews and loved that the rooms had waterfront reviews and were close to the Edison winter estates where we were headed the next day. We reserved the room months in advance and paid a fairly high rate (I travel a lot and this is one of the most expensive hotels I've booked in the past year). We arrived around 6pm and were promptly assigned a room on the first floor. Given that everything is exterior entry, I was not crazy about this but I proceeded to the room. When I arrived with my kids I discovered that not only was our "waterfront" balcony on a pathway next to the pool and the attached seafood restaurant, but the smell from the restaurant filled our room and there was barely any water view. Also, there was a window in the bathroom that only had louvres and did not actually shut. We could hear all the activity from the parking lot. This room was not as advertised and was not what the reviews said. I cannot believe how much I paid for a stay here. I never stay at Best Western's and unfortunately will never do so again. I am regretting not going with my more reliable Hampton Inn or Courtyard Marriott this time around.

Due to asthma, we called ahead multiple times to ensure no perfumes, such as chemical air fresheners -- as well as an extra rise of bleach on both sheets and towels -- would be used to clean our room. We also requested NO ENTRY by housekeeping during our stay, to ensure the room would not contaminated by residual chemicals. Upon arrival, all was well, and we were quite happy with the room. However, housekeeping went on to enter our room every day of our 4-night stay, despite us requesting 4 TIMES -- once directly to a housekeeper who gave us a magnet to place on our door; she told us this would prevent entry -- NOT to enter. As a result, we had minor but continuous health difficulties with residual chemicals. Also: New keypads were installed the day of arrival. Our card key had to be "reprogrammed" EIGHT TIMES during our 4-night stay, mainly due to staff renewing it only for 24 hours. We are not sure what needs to happen for staff to **COORDINATE and IMPLEMENT** requests correctly the FIRST TIME, but we would love to see that happen. There are not an abundance of Fort Myers hotels on this tier -- the tier that falls between mold-ridden, ill-kept vs. $400+ per night -- so we would definitely like to see better staff execution on our repeat visits to this Best Western location. Finally, their free breakfast changed in the past month [Feb 2020] to the poor-quality, too-salty, fake eggs, over-carbed, highly-processed foods now found at most mid-range hotel buffets. This replaced the delicious breakfast they offered in partnership with the IHOP restaurant next door. We took one bite of the new breakfast "eggs", threw out the rest, and walked over to IHOP where we happily dined every morning of our 4-night stay.

We had several calls to the front desk about the cleanliness of the room, Day 1 we could not get into the room locks were broken, we were not the only customers that had that issue. No toilet paper, no shampoo, no tissues, no bath towels and no wash clothes on several day of our stay in our room.

This is a diamond in the rough. All the rooms face the river, the location is fantastic, the breakfast is wonderful in the 3 Fisherman Restaurant. The also have a very nice and reasonably priced meeting room with great service from Chris. For the price it would have been a home run. I stayed two nights and the cleaners never showed up to my room and I didn't have a do not disturb sign and I was out by 7:30am. I understand that they have new owners so they may be going through some management changes, but they have excellent employees but their area of opportunity is in the housekeeping and also getting the TVs to work. They work, but there is a setting issue in order to connect to the programming. I would stay there again but I would except these things to be worked out very soon. Parking is good and there is a trolly that can take you down town. Lots of food options in the area as well.

Hey this place is ok. Prices reasonable as well. We were here for 3 nites. We got a nice water view room at the river as well. SO I'm sitting out on the balcony now having my coffee till everyone wakes up. It has the best views. Also I'm watching morning commute traffic.... loving being on vacay! We haVe been out all days aight seeing. Even went to Sanibel island. Nice. It was aLways great cominG back to a room to get my shoes off!!! Whew. Tired this vacay thing. Trying to squeeze everything in for my friends from Europe!! We also have breakfast coupons for IHop which is in the parking lot. Nice! They have a specIaL menu for hotel guests which have minimal selections. But the make your own omlete is good! Although u can choose any reg menu item for $6.50 off. So my last day yep that's what I'm doing. Swedish crepes for me today... love those. So it's a bit dated here but it works. Didn't even get to the heated pool which is over by the seafood resturant. Too much sightseeing! At nite it's nicely lit with blue lights... haha easy to find!

We stayed for 3 nights just recently. 4 PM check in time was strictly observed even though i requested early checkin. No problems there. They have to clean the rooms, I am guessing. The Housekeeping did not enough people on MLK day I am guessing. The towels were not replaced and had to ask someone for some additional towels. Great property with excellent, spacious rooms, a bit old. Nice Balconies though with a view of the River. The IHOP breakfast is a terrible idea. If the hotle manages a Continental Breakfast, would have been better.

This motel was very relaxing with beautiful views. The restaurants were very convenient. There are a few things that need changed in my opinion. But the new owners are definitely working on that. They are there every day. They plan to change from dish tv to cable. The bed was very comfortable but the linens and pillows should be updated. The pool was magnificent. The good far out wayed the bad. Would highly recommend staying here. Also the restaurants were very convenient. The seafood restaurant was excellent and had happy hour till 6. We ate there 5 out of 7 nights.

It serves its purpose. A place to rest your head. Nothing really stood out. Very nice staff. Nice pool area. Zero water pressure in the shower. Just hope they have maids for your stay or you'll be chasing your own needs like we did.

For the price and location you cannot beat this location and the great service vs spending $300-$400 a night right on the golf beaches. Not flashing but hit the mark for me and mu wife. We will definitely returning to this location when in Fort Myers again

The hotel provides a wonderful serene view as you sit on the balcony. The local restuarant had good food and the breakfast that was offered through IHOP was a great amenity. This is a good place to relax.

High service level, nice, clean and quit room. Heated pool and view over the river and Fort Myers Down Town. Easy to park and very service minded staff. I will visit this hotel again! Easy to enter highways and interstate

We utilize Punta Gorda airport for travel between our homes. BW Waterfront provides a convenient home-base. Excellent restaurant, 2 free drinks provided; free breakfast at IHOP next door. Nice room. All-in-all a great stay.

Everyone was kind and friendly, even checking in at midnight. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful. We had a good night of sleep. We had a room with a waterfront view which was really pretty. Very happy with our stay.

I was nervous when I read all of the Yelp reviews, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Our stay was flawless from start to finish. I don't know if it is under new management or what, but everything for us was perfect. Service was good, room was clean, view was amazing, and the food and service at both iHop and 3 Fishermen was spot on. Maybe we just got lucky, but we will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed our stay, The BEST and caring staff. Location is the awesome with waterfront views. Three onsite restaurants and also floating docks. We will stay here again for sure. Downtown is right across from this hotel.

We stayed here for a one week holiday vacation for the first time between Christmas and New Year. Front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. Out double queen bedroom was clean, spacious (with south facing balcony overlooking the river), and comfortable (firm beds, but pillows were too soft), equipped with microwave oven and half-size fridge. In room wi-fi was reasonably fast (144 Mbps speed), and flat screen TV with Direct TV channels (need to pay per view for premium channels). Exercise room has a treadmill, elliptical machine, and weights for lifting. Housekeeping was a bit spotty (missed 2 days during our 7 night stay). Outdoor heated swimming pool was nice. Complimentary breakfast is at the IHOP restaurant on premise (but limited menu for hotel guests). We would come again because of the inexpensive room rates and great location.

I was on a business trip and after rental car issues I needed to stay the night instead over driving 4 hours north in the dark. I was recommended to stay here by my client and loved the idea of a balcony over the water. I spoke with a wonderful lady at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful. Once I checked in and got to my room I noticed the guests below at the restaurant could see and even speak with me I was that close. Has to cancel my relaxing night looking over the water. Found the ac filter to look very dirty (phone doesn't do justice) and what looks to be black mold in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and there was no blankets. The room had two phones. Both which didn't work. I called the desk with my cell phone and they said someone would come. That didn't happen. Nor did I get a call back. I may try again and ask for a room higher up and a blanket at check in. Otherwise I'll look around harder.

As a relatively frequent traveler and a bit particular about service and comfort and also not a fan of the fancy Hilton's, I like the friendly and inviting feeling of privately held properties like a Best Western. This facility epitomizes the BEST OF THE BEST!! I guarantee you will be pleased. Hands down.

If you are looking for an affordable 5 star VIEW hotel. Stay here. Every room has a view of the water looking towards Ft. Myers. You are able to have see the sun set from your balcony. In the evening you can see the stars. Staff is friendly and helpful. It has a large outdoor pool to enjoy.

Stayed here for a softball tournament. What a jewel. When we arrived we were promptly greeted at reception desk by Shon who had a super, super attitude, check in was extremely easy. We were given two tickets for a free breakfast at the IHOP on property and two free drink tickets for the 3 Fishermen's Restaurant, also on property. In the lobby area there was a fitness center, small, but it had the basic equipment, they also offer free coffee. The room we were given was very spacious and clean. They only flaw I saw was the curtain was frayed on one panel but that didn't bother us. The bathroom was huge, the shower head was amazing. The bed and pillow were devine. All room have a view of the water which was quite beautiful, room also had a coffee maker, microwave and a mini fridge. Highly recommend the the 3 Fishermen's Restaurant. We were a party of about 25 and we were worried with such a large party our server would not get our order correct but Chris, our server was fantastic and managed to get it all correct. Food was very delish. I had the lobster bisque as an appetizer, it was simply wonderful, for the entree I had the coconut shrimp with cole slaw and french fires. It did not disappoint. Very tasty! For breakfast we went to the IHOP, the free menu was ok, the basic items but if on a tight budget it is fine. Our server, Sonia was very good getting our crazy orders correct. There is also another restaurant on property called Che Tito, cannot review since we did not eat there. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent service from reception staff on arrival, friendly and helpful. View from the room over the river was stunning, enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony. The 3 Fisherman restaurant next door looked good though we only had drinks there. Breakfast is at the I-Hop next door. Although the hotel looks a bit tired from the outside, the rooms were comfortable and the views excellent. Would recommend.

The whole staff are very helpful and friendly, the breakfast is good the (3) Fisherman restaurant is very good with a great staff. We have been doing this for (4) years in a row at the same time of year and request the same room which is very comfortable and roomy

The rooms face the water with balconies and the view cannot be beat. There is a lovely pool and seating at the restaurant can be inside looking at the water or outside with water and pool view. They include breakfast which is at the IHop, the second restaurant on the premises. The people are wonderful that work there, but room are old and really can use a good deep cleaning. If you don't have a pet, I'd advise to ask for a room away from the pet rooms. Heard a lot of dog barking on this trip and we had to avoid stepping in dog poop in the grass at one point ( which is the pet owners' disregard for doing the right thing, disgusting. Not BW's fault, I saw poop bags for them by the trail)

This hotel was convenient to my client, comfortable and had a great balcony overlooking the river. The check-in was fast as was the internet. Everything worked well. I can't ask for much more from a hotel. I'd stay here again in the future.

Stayed here 2 nights. Our stay was uneventful. The hotel is nice and from what we saw, was one of the better in the neighborhood. Great view of the river from all the rooms. We were provided with vouchers for a limited menu breakfast from IHOP, which shares the same parking lot, but chose not to use them. We also did not go to the restaurant here. Overall, our stay was better than average. The room was a typical hotel room. It was clean as well. One thing I would recommend to the management is to keep the mini fridge on. Ours was off and it reeked when we went to use it.

Hi Speed Internet is good only for Apple Products, if you want to connect with an IBM Compatible Laptop you are out of luck. Water pressure in room 429 is a joke, might want to take a bath instead of a shower.

horrible my wife found 5 lites on the bed and almost got bit they carry lime desease what is the matter with these people be aware of this hotel be aware of this place make sure that you check the rooms before entering. do not take the word of these poeple that its ok check it out for yourself

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable experience. I loved my stay with my family. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The restaurants with a dock and pool only added to the overall experience.

Great place to stay , right on the water, rooms are older but nice well kept and really clean. Staff is always happy and helpful. Ac works great!! Shampoo and conditioner could be bigger bottles. Sunset view is incredibe. You get free breakfast voucher at IHOP.

My room was not clean. The bathroom was bad. Careless cleaning and my particular checkin staff was not friendly. They wanted to get me over with ASAP. Not a real sense of customer service or welcoming.

My husband and I stayed at this facility for 2 nights for a wedding we were in. We were in the room mainly at night just to rest and clean up. For the good: Check in and check out were both very quick...just a matter of minutes. The hotel menu over at the Ihop was also a nice touch...Do be aware you'll want to bring money for gratuities for the wait staff that is serving you...So you can look at it as a deeply discounted breakfast. Also, the view from our room on level 6 was quite nice when looking straight forward (ugly roof with mechanical when you look down). For the bad: Exterior corridor didn't make us feel too safe arriving back late both nights. There were some transient people about but we had no issues with them. This is an old building that BW has tried to do something with (think lipstick on a pig)...The insulation is poor (especially at the doors) so you hear all the traffic, people talking in the corridor, etc. Both of those would have been forgivable for the price we paid but the cleanliness was horrible and not at all what we're used to at BW. There were several white spills on the floor (that we hope was food), 7 bugs in the bathroom during one use, and previous guests' hairs in the tub/shower. As I mentioned, we were there for a wedding we were in, getting back late and absolutely exhausted, so we didn't have the time or energy to go ask for help....which we shouldn't have had to in the first place...we simply wanted to sleep. I'm glad we visited this facility out of necessity instead of on a vacation. We'll still continue to support the BW brand but not at this facility.

Older, but maintained ok.Good location with river view. Plenty of parking. Problems with WIFi - both phone or laptop would nor accept security of site. Restaurants at site - good menus, very good service.

This property has a great view of the river, very friendly staff from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. This property has 3 restaurants- 3 Fisherman Seafood and I Hop which are highly recommended, the Argentina/ Italian is not recommended. 3 Fisherman Seafood Restaurant has All You Can Eat Shrimp Nights from Monday- Wednesday. I Hop serves excellent breakfast for Best Western guests. The highlight of the stay was watching the black birds steal the crackers from the 3 Fisherman Seafood Restaurant, bring it to the pool, crack open the package, and soaking the crackers as the flock arrives to eat. Learning the intelligence of the birds. It is hilarious and funny to watch, relaxing and suntanning by the pool. Had me entertained for my whole stay.

The staff, management and owner were willing to work with us on the rate. We had to keep extending our stay as repairs were delayed. They took extra effort to let us stay in the same room. The room was clean and in good condition.

My wife and I recently had to adjust plans during a visit to Fort Myer and came across this property. During what ended up being a four night stay, we had to extend and add nights a couple of times. The front counter staff and supervision worked wonders in keeping us in our room and getting us the best possible rate (especially in consideration of a major regatta that was coming during the weekend and driving higher rates). People make the difference in service-oriented industries, and these folks made us feel special. We highly recommend a stay here due to them.

Stayed here for one night to be closer to airport after a 10 day family vacation. Upon check in the front desk attendant was courteous and upgraded me to a room on the 6 th floor. I imagine it was because they weren't fully booked but still appreciated. We had an amazing view from our balcony of the river. The beds were the most comfortable beds we slept on all vacation and the cleanest rooms we had stayed in. (And we came from a Disney resort ). It was about a 20 minute drive to the airport but made us feel like we were still on vacation for one more night. Breakfast vouchers for IHOP were a nice bonus.

Stayed here one night before our flight home. Excellent hotel on the water, nice balconies with a great view. Easy and friendly check in and out. Room was exceptionally clean, a little small but it had a huge bathroom. Breakfast was at an Ihop Restaurant next door. Did not get to use the hotel restaurant and bar because it had closed early, we had intended to have cocktails there so it was a bit disappointing

We enjoyed this hotel and mini vacation. Being on the north fort myers side of the caloosahatchee river gives you a great view looking at the fort myers skyline. There's a beautiful dock and pool that you can see from your balcony. Breakfast at IHOP was great and they have quite a few local restaurants and bars you can walk to.

We send our survey crews to this hotel often. They are very accommodating. Great business rate and during the summer they made sure our employees stayed on the opposite end of where the pool was so they would not hear kids running around.

Got bite in bed during night....had what lookes like blood on top of toilet bowl. Lost contact due to stopper not closing. People at front desk could only say...sorry...sorry. Manager was SUPPOSED to call me but two days later I haven't heard from ANYONE.

This is a nice remodeled older hotel. The views are wonderful and there is a wonderful seafood restaurant and and IHOP on the property. The rooms are large and spacious and the staff is friendly. We try to stay at this hotel at least once a year for a wonderful relaxing getaway. It is centrally located in North Ft. Myers close to everything.

The high reviews are for the VIEW! The balconies are overwhelmed by smokers! And the pier by homeless people... We're currently still staying at this hotel. We're scheduled to leave on Sunday. About two days ago, my wedding rings and my couples ring disappeared! The most disturbing thing is that it happened with FOUR of us in the room. I called the front desk front desk to see if someone could come spray the mess of bugs that were living in the corners of the balcony. Rather than sending maintenance, they sent housekeeping. The attendant knocked on the door, I got off the bed, placed my rings on the entertainment center, walked to the door and opened it. She asked about me calling for house keeping. I explained to her that what I needed was the bugs off the balcony. She didn't seem to understand me so I took her to the balcony. We walked to the glass doors, I showed her what I was talking about, and she asked if I wanted her to clean the glass sliding doors. I said ok. While she was wiping the doors, my 21 year old daughter was focused on her little brother and little sister while I was getting the towels together in the bathroom to give to the attendant. When she was done wiping down the glass sliding doors, she came to the front door which is by the bathroom and I asked her for some towels. I began handing her our used towels and she offered clean ones. We exchanged towels. While she was cleaning the sliding glass doors, I had taken her broom and swept the bathroom so I asked that she vacuum that walk way. I was in the bathroom the entire time, just straightening up. When she was done vacuuming, she once again asked me if I needed any more towels. I didn't think anything of it and just took them. After she left, I folded the towels, made the beds, and we were about to leave the room to go to the pier. That's when I noticed my rings were gone. We looked around for about 30 minutes and nothing. So I called the front desk. I told them what had happened, even mentioned that my rings could have gotten mixed up in the towels. I was told they would check. A little while later, I got a call saying they had and the rings, THREE RINGS were not there. To appease everyone, I took the beds apart, the couch apart, where we found an old dirty sock that isn't ours, the bathroom, and every single corner of this room! MY RINGS ARE GONE! That's when my daughter told me, the attendant was vacuuming the entire room. By the nightstands, around the beds, ands yes, infant of the entertainment center. We don't do house cleaning for this reason! I had my Apple Watch stolen at another hotel and NOTHING was ever done! I even called the police and filed a police report. I let it be known that there was find my iPhone on the watch so that when it was turned on the thief would be found out. TWO YEARS later and that watch has never been turned on! There was no way to use it, because essentially I'd had it locked! But that didn't change the fact that my personal property was stolen! Like now! I am about to call the police and file a police report and file a claim against this hotel. If you can take someone's property WHILE THEY ARE IN THE ROOM because nobody is watching you!!???? And shielded by the sound of a vacuum cleaner??? This isn't your first time!!! I cant wait to get out of here and I will NEVER, EVER stay at another Best Western Hotel! Oh, and the bugs were never cleaned out! That Miguel she said she would send up, he never appeared!

Other guests pissing off balconies. All night junkies making lots of noise. Charged extra fees for smoking when no one smoked in room. TV in room next door was left on all night so loud that no one in the area could get a good night sleep

The hotel provides a breakfast at the IHOP next to it which is very nice. The hotel has a seafood restaurant called 3 Fishermen and the service/food/price was outstanding. The view from the rooms is very nice to the river.

Nice waterfront views on a private balcony. The rooms are very clean. Features a large outdoor pool. Hotel has elevators that are convenient. Breakfast vouchers to iHop. Nice friendly staff. Love the reward program.

Lying on your bed you get the feeling you are on a cruise ship as you look out on to the river. We booked an upgraded corner room on high floor. It was very large if somewhat dated. But it was clean and the bathroom was also large. The complimentary breakfast was in the adjoining IHOP and it was very convenient . The hotel restaurant on the water was quite nice. The hotel is pet friendly and unfortunately not smoke free.

This is a Beautiful well Maintained Location. Instead of the traditional continental Breakfast they give you a voucher for the IHOP next door. All the IHOP staff were amazing, The Hotel Staff were amazing as well . We came here for our 2 Year Anniversary. Before handing us our Room Key the woman in the Lobby smiled, said Happy Anniversary and stated that they had upgraded our room for us. Thank you for that personal touch

Great location in front of the Bay. The room was kind of small, but the view compensate for the room size; very clean. Front desk was extremely helpful, friendly and efficient, the check- in was very quick.

A bit older than other BW's. Pool and restaurant next door were helpful but not open late. We expected a better property for best western but what can you do. staff was great and breakfast at the ihop next door was good and convenient.

We got to this hotel n was impressed the minute we arrived. The desk clerk lady was super nice n friendly. She checked us in quickly. We got a room upstairs with a balcony n a beautiful view of the water n boats. The room was nice n clean. The bed was very comfortable. Good size tv, microwave n fridge in the room. Nice size bathroom. There's a restaurant on site for lunch n dinner. We didn't get to experience it they closed it by the time we got there to eat. So we walked over across the street to the Mexican restaurant for dinner good food there! For breakfast it was at the I-Hop next door. They have a small menu for your free breakfast. This hotel was great! 5+ in our book! We definitely will stay here again!

We booked this hotel 10 months upfront, just to make sure that we would have connecting rooms for our family (2 adults and 4 children) Best Western made it 2 separate bookings so the connecting rooms were no option! The kids (young of age had to sleep somewhere else in the building. The hotel was overbooked and we had bugs in the room. The whole night junks were on the gallery smoking pot an made a lot of noise. (and we are not picky) But probably the worst was our breakfast... You book a hotel with a complimentary continental breakfast. what we've got, was a breakfast coupon for the on-site ihob burger restaurant. (I'm Vegan.......) But the view is great!

We booked a room through booking.com as we let family with young children use our home for a family reunion. Upon check in we were informed the new owners don't want locals renting rooms at they're hotel. There is a restaurant attached to this hotel called 3 Fishermen. If you reside anywhere near North Fort Myers, Cape Coral etc. you should not be patronizing 3 Fishermen restaurant. The restaurant is owned and operated by Best Western. If the new owners don't want us in they're hotel they certainly don't deserve us supporting they're restaurant!!

This motel is situated right on the river and most rooms have great views. Our room was on the ground floor with a small terrace. The front desk staff, especially Hila and Belle, are very accommodating. Good breakfasts at IHOP too.

Great views but make sure you are on the 4th floor or higher. The price is right. Most staff is pleasant but I wish the front desk people were more willing to say we will try our best to get you into your room ASAP ratger than so quick to say there is no way we can do that.

It was a comfortable and relaxing stay with my daughter. The room was very spacious and clean. I didn't have a problem and the breakfast is at Ihop so that was a bonus. Spent three nights at hotel for July 4th. Was there in May and asked registration staff if fireworks were set off in river and if hotel was good viewing spot. Made plans for the 4th. Called twice to confirm and was assured both times fireworks were viewable from my room balcony. Didn't happen. Apparently, the fireworks were discontinued a couple years ago!!!!! I was disappointed but felt really bad for kids there. Other then that the view is nice, room large (paid extra cause Queen room is tiny). Lots of good restaurants around, and an ice cream shop. Spent day on Sanibel/Captiva. ...toll $6.00. Love Edison Mall, AMC Theater close. Will be back but not for July 4th!! Shame!!

Traveled to Fort Myers to catch up with daughter for a few days. Nice hotel, good location. Many restaurants to choose from all within a very short distance. Friendly staff and very clean hotel. Restaurant on site that was very good. Nice stay and if I ever visit again we would stay here.

Absolutely ridiculous!!! Rained very hard during the day; however, it cleared up and they still would not open the pool. Several youth softball teams stayed here, played all day, and were looking forward to cooling off in the pool. We were given several excuses of why it wouldn't open, including the owner lives in one of the buildings and they feared losing their job. Someone at this hotel has to figure out what customer service is. We had 25 - 30 rooms booked between our two teams and no one wanted to listen.

We were on the 2nd floor. It was quiet. Our view was of a greasy chicken restaurant. We could smell the fried food on our balcony. The decor is tired, the area is very depressed. There are no good restaurants or stores nearby.The beds were old and pillows well worn. I left a small shirt on the end of the bed and the housekeeper refused to clean up the bed. She wrote a note that she can't touch anything. Others stayed on the 3rd floor and they had a better view. The pool was warm and pleasant.

We arrived very early for the posted check-in time and we got a call when the room was ready. I had noted on the initial room request that I'm a light sleeper, prefer rooms away from elevator and Ice machines. Hilda at the front desk told me my room type, standard water view queen, was next to the elevator but she moved me to a spacious Quiet room next to the corridor's end, #412. It had a large bathroom. There was plenty of storage, two luggage racks, fast WiFi and a big balcony overlooking the Caloosahatchee. The room offered everything we could want - spacious, immaculate and a view from the best perspective and, did I say quiet. I love that room and will go with that same category next time. The included breakfast was a short walk across the hotel's parking lot and offered varied choices at the IHOP. The service was efficient and friendly there, and well versed on hotel guests' options. It's summer in Florida and beside an expansive marine way, hence there will probably be some insects. There were tiny moisture ants walking on the desk adjacent to the balcony's sliders and nowhere else. I mention this only because if you placed food there (instead of in the provided refrigerator) the ants may have invited their friends. In my experience, that was the only negative. There was one elevator which, at certain busy times, was slowed because of housekeeping activity. Steps were convenient to the ground level, but one family member required the lift's accessibility. Beside the pool and the '3 Fisherman' restaurant - the grounds also afford a long dock that is a nice walk to enjoy the views outside the hotel.

Very well kept and clean room. large bathroom. The only problem was in the operation of the knob on the shower for the flow of the water. Called the front desk and the problem was solved after they told us what to do. Was surprised of the over all size of the room. We would stay there again if the occasion arrived.

I chose this hotel because it has balconies and a great view. We were not told that anyone with a pet including emotional support dogs did not have a choice. Not safe or private when people are walking back and forth

I love this hotel, however I question housekeeping. There was a dead bug on our bathroom floor when we walked in. I thought it was good as their exterminating was working, but we spent 3 nights and the poor fella never got swept up. Hope he was removed before the next guests. But it is so lovely and peaceful there.

Very spacious, comfortable bed, loved having a deck to sit on for meals and enjoy the view very large room! Easy acsess to room, free breakfast at a IHOP right next door. Really nice open restaurant/bar wonderful deck over the water to walk on or the your boat up.

Our room was lovely: no complaints. I went down to the front desk at 4:00 PM and requested 2 additional bath towels. I was told they would be delivered to my room. I made a phone call to the front desk at 5:30 PM to inquire if the towels that I had requested would be delivered TODAY, and the reply was YES. Well, I still have not received the towels. I consider this to be very poor service; am very disappointed; and NOT return to thid hotel.

Really a great hotel. Stayed here years ago and it is definitely improved. Vey clean and spacious rooms, with a large bathroom that you rarely see anymore. Fantastic balcony with great view. My rating would be an excellent except for the breakfast. They advertise a full breakfast, it is not, not even close. It's in a IHOP. The menu for hotel guests has extremely limited choice of very small portions. Kind of an insult. Should have just paid and ordered off the menu or gone somewhere else. I would and will stay here again, great place, but know now to look at it as though they don't offer breakfast.

this was one of our best experience as a family we have ever had during a vacation.The breakfast at the IHOP was perfect as well as the restaurants were all at walking distance.The service was tops,with great food and served with a smile.The rooms were clean with great waterfront view with very comfortable beds and central A/C.....We all agree we found our vacation home!

well they were clean, quiet, beds were soft pillow type. we had a balcony that overlooked the river which dolphines swam. desk clerk gave us I-hop breakfast passes that was so filling and great pancakes. going back maybe in off season.

Check in was easy and front desk was helpful and professional. Had a room on high floor with nice view of river. Room was small, but clean and well maintained. A surprising amount of road noise from cars/motorcycles racing over bridge. Breakfast was provided at IHOP across the parking lot which was a nice upgrade from the usual standard fare. Very reasonably priced. Not sure why this property does not have a "Plus" as it was as nice or nicer than others with a plus in its name.

Every room had a view of the harbour. Loved the waterfront restaurant. Upsize the room if you prefer a roomy room. While most people would have found our room small, we did not care since we do not spend alot of time in our room.

Front desk girl was very rude and unhelpful,we asked to talk to the manager 3x and never got a call back. Issues with payment ruined the 2 nights there.Never mentioned to us you couldn't pay cash on arrival along with a credit card to cover.Until we checked in then she was unhelpful and dismissive.She should find another line of work.Wish I knew her name.Danny at the front desk was much more helpful.

We stayed here at the BW's for spring break this year, and it was fantastic! Stayed on the 4th floor, west building, where the views were beautiful. And at night, even better. The one gripe we had was the pool was NOT heated as advertised. It made for some cold swimming everyday for the kiddos and us. When we brought it to the front desk a couple of times, they were not even aware of it. Not their fault, but as for the GM, or whomever takes care of that, shame on you!!! Even the pool guy confirmed it a couple of times to guests, saying it was on back order, with no time given as to when it would arrive. That issue aside, we loved it here. Hilda, at the front desk is a charming as she is on the phone when booking. Greets you everyday with a smile and always couldn't be more helpful. Three Fishermen, while not as quick as we might like every time, was delish! Ate there 4-5 times during our stay. Sit by the water and enjoy the Dolphin show. As others have pointed out, there is a bug issue, with those tiny little mites, or whatever, but no big deal. Housekeeping was pretty good, and parking never a problem. Quick drive over the bridge to amazing downtown Fort Myers, and an easy jaunt to Cape Coral, and Pine Island. Breakfast at IHOP every morning was great. Best free breakfast deal we ever had. I give it 4 stars on everything because of the pool issue. Again, shame for that false advertising. Just post a sign, or be up front when booking and it won't be such an issue.

Bugs in the room, air conditioning not working, tv service did not work half the time, counter not cleaned, bill was higher than original quote, low water pressure in shower, I had to go down to the front desk twice because the room card would not unlock the door. The price was high because of the view over the water but the rooms were poor. I will not stay there again.

Visted with my fiance for spring break 2019 and it was a wonderful stay. It was an affordable price for a college student and had free IHOP breakfast and a balcony out to the bay of Fort Myers. 30-55 mins away from Fort Myers Beach, FL.

Each room had a great view across the water of downtown Fort Meyers. The Seafood Restaurant attached to the facility is wonderful with outside dining available. Breakfast at the IHOP across the parking lot is included with a variety of options or use a credit of around $9.00 a person to order anything off the menu. Very Nice.

Aside from the free breakfast from the IHOP next door and the nice view, the hotel is quite dull and average. It was actually even somewhat depressing and in need of updating. Why would a southwest Florida hotel be decorated in browns and tans?

Attending some spring training baseball games in Fort Myers and this lovely hotel was about one half hour from stadiums. We had a room on the 6th floor with a terrific view of the river. There is a great restaurant between the two towers of this hotel called Three Fishermen. Good food. Room was nothing special but clean and comfy. Free breakfast were vouchers given for the IHOP next door which was nice. Your view of the river will be severely limited if you have a room on the 3rd floor or lower anywhere near the restaurant. We would stay here again Did not use but pool looked nice and sunsets are special

We stayed here a week and enjoyed the balcony views of Ft. Myers on the water, views of sunsets, nearby beach, water activities and flowers were really nice. The front office staff was courteous and very helpful. So was the maintenance man who retrieved my wife's earring from the sink drain and would not take a tip. Customer service beyond expectations! The pool area was nice but needed bigger towels. Music from nearby restaurant was cool as was the restaurant itself. The breakfast was nice but menu needs more choices such as 2 eggs, bacon, toast, juice and coffee. The IHOP servers worked hard to accommodate many morning customers and should not encounter no tipping, seen many times. The rooms are a little noisy but tolerable being next to a busy highway. The maid service was very accommodating. There are some bugs and mosquitoes in the room but should be expected on the waterfront in SW FL. The HVAC design is a blast cold air on room occupants type, cool the room when you are out of it and leave the HVAC off when in the room. Suggest a deep cleaning of rooms more frequently to include the air return vents and fridges. Wildlife sightings of dolphins, ducks and various birds were good to see as was many boats and sailboat races. All in all we had a nice week at this Best Western. As any aging facility comes with fix up needs, this facility is well designed with all rooms facing the waterfront. Enjoy these balcony views.

We booked a ‘waterfont' Hotel... when we arrived our room overlooked the back of a seafood restaurant- NOT the water, “oh, you have to pay more money for a better room” was the answer to our complaint. The bathroom accommodates only those under 6'... otherwise, your head hits the acoustic ceiling tiles. The breakfast is a coupon to the adjacent IHOP where you get a ‘special' menu. If you order French toast, it's ONE slice of bread!!! CHEAP!!! If you expect a decent breakfast you have to add your own money. Road noise is also an issue... so earplugs or sound machine. The staff at the hotel are marginally polite. Spend your money elsewhere!!!

We always enjoy having a nice view and even better with a balcony. We enjoyed watching the lights from the bridge and the city over the water. Room was very clean, bed and pillows were super comfortable. Our stay did come with a free breakfast at IHop, within the same parking lot, however we did not have time to wait for the long line that went outside, so we went elsewhere. That was the only bummer and they didn't have items to grab quickly like pastries or fruit. So plan on getting to breakfast very early!

The pool was very nice. We enjoyed the view there as well as the clean pool, lots of chairs, drinks at the bar next door. The traffic noise coming down off the bridge was very loud in the East Tower. Due to that, I would not stay here again. Not a very pleasant entrance or outside look to the hotel either. Clean room, very scratchy towels compared to other hotels. Breakfast is at IHOP next door, which was horrible. Not clean, terrible service, very understaffed. Waited over 45 minutes for a table even though 7 tables were open. Food came fast after ordering though. Our waitress was nice. Restaurant by the pool had great Shrimp Tacos and New England Clam Chowder. Not great service though. Their drinks were great! ASK FOR THE WEST TOWER so you can overlook the pool instead of the top of a building. Past the pool is the river, which is pretty to look at. Some people were fishing but I'm not sure if they were catching anything. Front desk staff not helpful or overly friendly. They didn't answer the phone in a call from our room for over 45 minutes. I finally walked down with my request for more towels, wrote it down and handed it over the counter since she had others in line.

They said this place was updated in 2019. Maybe just the lobby. The bathroom in our room was disgusting, there were ants! The shades were ripped going to the patio. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because of the view of the water. Everything else should be completely gutted and redone! The bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows were lumpy gross. Needless to say I got 2 hrs of sleep. We checked in and left right away to meet family else where, didn't notice the ants until we returned around 10:30 at that point it was too late to say anything so I stayed awake until I couldn't fell asleep then woke up to an OBNOXIOUS noise ( later realized it was the ac going on and off constantly) it sounded like a helicopter then would go to a screeching thumping noise. It was horrible and kept me up the rest of the night. I honestly think best western should just tear the place down and completely rebuild!

Very nice property. Employees very courteous. Easy check in/out. If I had to do this again, I might have opted for a room with two beds instead of one. We chose a one bed and the room was tiny. Our friends got a two bed room and it was quite spacious. This was not a major problem because we weren't in the room much, but would have still liked a little more space.

Hotel is so so, not a fan of entering your room from the outside, but since it's the hotel that is recommended by the festival we stay here. 3 years in a row now. The bathroom windows need to be replaced, it was a very cold, rainy weekend and we had to keep the bathroom door closed because of the cold temps. It was a quick shower and restroom trip for sure. We were placed in the "west" tower and directly behind the seafood restaurant. The smell of fried food was abundant and the "singer" the restaurant had was very hard to listen to. It wasn't the best view we have had for the price.

Ok, so I hardly ever write reviews, especially mean ones. But..... this place is as good as a cat litter box. Floors were black, tan grout in bathroom turned black from filth, everything seems so old and yucky. Dust all over the microwave, desk et c. Not to mention we called to find out the check in time and it is four o'clock( which is a little late I think)We had a limo coming to get us at five ( were from out of town) so o called to see if we could check in early to get ready and she rudely stated our rooms aren't ready yet. So I expected a fresh newly cleaned room. Wrong!! So gross at least the sheets smelled clean. And to top it all off, the housekeepers were laughing and yelling( literally) in the halls at 7:30 in the morning! Had to walk out of the room and tell them to please shut up! Twice! Just rediculous! And rude. And very inconsiderate to guests on vacation. Like I said I never write bad reviews about places, I just don't go back. But for 180.00 a night for this tiny filthy room just gets to me. Couldn't leave fast enough. Don't waste your money on this yuk hotel.... the picture attached is the floor the second we walked in. Should have left then ,but we had several family members in other rooms and everywhere else was booked up. The blue lights look cool at night tho.....

We were very disappointed in our stay ...two days prior to our stay they booked a wedding party in the room next to the one we stayed in ....and moved furniture to room on other side of us ...when we checked in they put us in between these rooms ...I hav never heard such nasty language and yelling as this wedding party had..no respect for others ..til 3:00 am in morning ...they were asked to be quite but at no prevail ...also police were called but ...they were too busy to show up ...they partied I. Front of our room and in back on the balcony ....they gave us a small discount but everyone says we should hav gotten that night free ....if you're gonna book a party ...have a special area where other paying customers are not bothered

The room was very nice, large and clean.. I requested extra pillows because I get stomach ulcers and need to sleep propped up.. Not only did we NOT receive extra pillows the pillows where 1/2 size.. Not normal standard pillows. So I had a hard time sleeping that I didn't fall asleep until 4-5am.. Then at 9am the maid was banging on the door, scared me with the loud, hard banging that I did not expect since I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign out on the door. reported the issues to the clerk at the front desk and her response was "oh, she must have had the wrong room".. Oh... Ok, thanks!! Spent $165.00 basically for a big clean room to watch TV.. Thanks Best Western.

My wife and I stayed here over 30 years ago and decided to stay here again on our last trip to Fort Myers. Our best memory from the precious stay was the view and it is still as good as we remembered. The rooms are large and the bed was comfortable. The house keeping staff were always friendly and did an excellent job. There are a couple of things that we didn't like, the chairs were NOT comfortable and the rooms are large enough for better side chairs. Secondly, we were in the East Building closest to Rte 41 and the traffic noise at times is loud. Apparently there is a Fire Station near by and we heard a lot of sirens. But I do know it is an older building and sound proofing is probably not something easily updated. They give you vouchers for breakfast at the IHOP next door. The menu for the voucher is not the standard menu but you do have the option of paying the difference if you want to order from the standard menu. Overall I would recommend this hotel and we will stay here again if we are in the area.

The hotel staff made sure my stay was stress free. This is a great hotel if you are on a budget and VERY close to downtown Fort Myers! The breakfast vouchers for IHOP restaurant were a bonus! The hotel is clean and housekeeping visited each day to make beds and replace towels. Can we talk about the view?!? Great view of the river and downtown!

Loved the landscaping and decor. Pool was nice, and close to downtown. Large rooms. Bed was fantastic. Just loud highway so bring white noise or be a heavy sleeper. I would stay again, but just use ear plugs.

We really like this hotel and stayed here when we first moved to SWFL. The rooms have great water views and are clean and comfortable. We were surprised to hear that they will not let locals stay in the hotel but understand why and it helps to keep this property a nice place to stay. We love the on site restaurant too, and there are other eating options as well close by. I recommend this hotel to any guests that I have come to visit and I always get positive feedback from them.

This Best Western is an excellent place to stay. It was very clean and the staff were extremely nice, always smiling. The breakfast at iHop that was included is excellent, no issues with parking, no noise issues. The pool area is exceptionally clean. The location is great - downtown Fort Myers is minutes away. The major highways are close for adventures further away. I would recommend this BW and will definitely stay again.

Staff was very concerned with making sure we were happy. We had about 40 Navy veterans that traveled to Ft. Myers for our ship's reunion. The manager, Sandy knocked it out of the park. She was amazing when listening to our group needs and met all of them. I would highly recommend this Best Western for group stays.

There appears to be no cohesiveness between management and the guests. The front desk is isolated leaving the guests to feel as if they are in a dorm. Not clean, the OHOP deal is not a deal. Every room has a view?? Well....okay. Yeah! Poor maintenance. Outside looks nice.

Great view of the bay from our balcony. We had a clean, comfortable room near the top of the west tower. Luggage carts are available for transferring belongings to and from the room. Great breakfast choices completed our stay and had us back on the road rested and refreshed.

What time I was able to spend in Ft. Meyers was great. I had to leave so early in the morning I was unable to fully enjoy the stay. I was unable to have breakfast at this BW because of the early departure. The front desk personnel were exceptional.

I loved my coffeetime on the balcony during my visit. Fish jumping, sailboats, people walking along river path- all enjoyable and relaxing. Convenient location to restaurants, shopping, putt putt, boating. Free breakfast at IHOP with stay. Great seafood restaurant on premises. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay. I was traveling with a Tour Bus to attend the Murder Mystery Dinner Train. The Bus Tour Company choose this hotel for our group of 33 people. It was a nice place to stay for one night. the room was clean and had all the necessary things you need (iron board, iron, hair dryer). The towels were a bit think and scratchy but otherwise it was an ok place. The view was much more awesome than the room itself.

When we entered our room it was overpowerd by airfreshner. I found it strange that my allergies started acting up. I laid down and they got worse. This room had been covered so that the smell won't be strong. I was very disappointed. The towels had absorbed thr cigarette smell.

We live on a boat and wanted to get off to celebrate our 45th anniversary. A balcony, pool, and on-site restaurant were some of our criteria. This BW met all of our expectations. We booked the King room and it was large and clean. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the river. We asked for a high floor and no "pet" room. Our requests were honored. Check-in and check-out were easy. The IHOP breakfast was a nice treat rather than eating in a lobby. The restaurant was very good. The pool was clean and inviting. We just wanted to relax and enjoy being on the land, so we never left the property and felt like we were at a resort. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Stayed here to visit family in the area. Our room overlooked the river so it was nice to sit outside and enjoy coffee in the morning. Hotel lobby area is currently under remodel so it'll probably look a lot nicer once it's finished. We skipped on the complimentary IHOP breakfast because the menu options you receive were very limited.

The rooms are very large. Plenty of room to use blowup mattresses if you have a lot of kids. We paid extra for a river view. There is also a more expensive river view. Pay for the better one. You could only see the river if you stood by the window. You couldn't see it sitting in a chair. The restaurant is very good. The rooms need updated. They could get a higher rating with updates of the rooms.

I recently did a search as to where to stay in Fort Myers and was so happy I picked this hotel. The superior 2 queen room was huge as well as the bathroom. The big balcony was fantastic and the view at sunset filled the sky. The breakfast at IHOP was quick and very good. I called the hotel and indicated that I would be a late arrival and the receptionist honored my requests for a quiet room on a high floor. We will be returning most likely to Fort Myers and will stay here again. If this is a non smoking hotel why was there an ashtray outside on the balcony.?? The room did not smell of smoke but could have if someone smoked outside and left the door open. We would have had to change rooms.

Stayed three days over a weekend. Reception being remodelled but still open. Stayed in an end room on 5th floor of six, in West block. Quiet, clean and large. All usual room facilities but no safe. Fridge and microwave included. Given vouchers for a reduced menu (smaller choice and size) at the next door IHOP. IHOP very busy as has seemingly the whole hotel and walk ups to deal with. Area has plenty of other restaurants and good access to the beaches and fabulous coastline in this part of Florida. Would recommend.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Complimentary breakfast at iHop was very good. We really enjoyed the food and service at the on site restaurant. The pool was spacious and nice. Best of all, the view from our room was beautiful (water, pier, town)! We would love to stay here again!

This place was under construction and it did not stop them from taking care of everyone that was their,they did not serve their own breakfast did however give you coupons to go to the IHOP next door for breakfast.we had a little glitch in our reservations that were made online and needed a room with 2 beds and a pullout couch ,Aldrin was very helpful in making this happen and we were even able to stay in the same room for the full 8 days due to his shuffling rooms to help accommodate us, Thank You Aldrin!! all in all a great hotel and perfect place to stay near everything in the area.

I liked that we had free breakfast at IHOP every morning. I disliked that we had no water pressure in our shower, no glass window panes in our bathroom, just a screen and wooden slats open to outside so the noise factor was really bad. There is a seafood restaurant that is great, priced reasonably but noise from patrons leaving was really a problem plus parking was difficult because of the two restaurants on the premises. Our refrigerator was plugged into an outlet via extension cord across the room and it kept tripping the breaker and causing it and the TV and lights to go out. We had a microwave in the room but there was no plug for it so we had to carry it to the bathroom and plug it in to heat our food. Our key stopped opening our door 3 times and we had to walk outdoors to the office to get it re-programmed to open the door.

Hotel has great views of the river and old town across the river. Watched fire works from balcony, 180 degrees for hours. Large pool and floating dock. Rooms are large and renovated. Lots of parking..

Fort Myers is a beautiful place ,surrounded by Caloosahatchee river ,There's loads off water sports and lots off things to do.We stayed in the best western on the River ,the hotel was in a great spot,but sadly the hotel was a bit off a let down ,a bit out dated and run down. The rooms are small ,and could do with a good cleaning ,although the rooms were cleaned every day ,they still needed a deep clean,the pool was heated and was clean with fresh towels .The staff were really nice and helpful,especially Hilda at the reception desk always very helpful with any queries we had ,and went out off her way to help lovely girl,the best western has no kitchen or dinning room ,so we were giveing vouchers for I hop which was nice ,over all we had a great time ,I would go back and hopeful the hotel might clean there rooms.

Room was clean & spacious & the front desk staff was nice. The views from the balcony were awesome. Breakfast was at the IHOP right next to the hotel. The IHOP had a complimentary basic menu for hotel guests.

I have stayed at this location several times when I am in Fort Myers for business or pleasure. The rates are very reasonable. The hotel is clean, well lit, and convenient. The Front desk staff has always been pleasant and easy to work with, and very receptive to any issues a guest may have. Housekeeping does a great job keeping things clean and neat as well. It is an older hotel and was being updated while I was there, but it was still awesome. As far as I know all of the rooms view the river and what a great view. They have a bar and restaurant on site so you don't have to leave the property if you don't want to. And the view from the open deck or inside the restaurant is spectacular! The open deck is poolside as well so you get the view of the pool and the river. The food and drinks are good and reasonably priced so no complaints there either. The service could have been better considering they were not that busy at the time, thus the reason for the 4 vs. 5 star rating. For those of us who want to train there is a small but decently equipped gym on the lower level. Breakfast is on the Hotel in the form of a voucher that can be used at IHOP directly across the parking lot from the lobby. There's a steakhouse next to that (I didn't try it but it was there in case you are interested). There's easy access to just about everything you would want from the hotel. Did I mention the view of the River? Thumbnail: Clean, convenient, safe, comfortable, great view and reasonably priced.

The motel is pet friendly. The cleaning staff is wonderful. The restaurant food (3 Fisherman) was good. The view is fantastic. The only drawback is a lack of parking close to the motel. As well as there seems to be a shortage of handicapped parking.

Overall good except no hot coffee in Lounge early in AM. Free Breakfast at IHOP was Just so-so, nothing exceptional. River view from room was fantastic. Heidi at front desk was exceptional. Would we return? Yes!

Hotel room was clean. They did some updates since the last time we were there. The only problem I have with this hotel is that they give a voucher for IHop but you can only choose from a certain menu. I don't think that's fair. I wanted a healthier breakfast option and couldn't have it because of this.

If you looking for a great hotel and with a great view then this is the place for you. Very accessible to Ft. Myers Beach from Best Western. We had a room with a wonderful river front view. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Front desk was very friendly and check in was fast. Highly recommend this hotel.

While the outside of the hotel needs some updating (lobby was in the process of being remodeled), the inside of my room was renovated in 2016 and very nice looking. Nice furniture, carpet and crisp white bedding and towels. Big flat screen TV with cable. I appreciated the argon oil toiletries, too. The pool is right on the water buts it's a bit on the small side so I didn't use it. Just a 3 minute drive over the bridge and you're in right in beautiful downtown Ft Myers with wonderful architecture, street art/sculptures, restaurants and shops. The location of the hotel was ideal. For breakfast, you get a voucher for the iHop sharing the same parking lot which was really nice, and there was plenty of coffee set up in the hotel lobby. The lobby staff were super sweet and helpful. They had a small fitness center, too. For the amazing price I got, with a beautiful water view room, great staff, fresh breakfast, and just 3 minutes from downtown, it's hard to beat! I would definitely stay there again. Great value.

While this is a beautiful property, and the staff were very good, for the most part, we drove 150 miles to use the ADA pool lift, having been told it works. When we got there, it di not, so our handicapped sister was left high and dry. They could have tested it, and had time to fix it, or we could have gone someplace else.

I spent one night in this hotel on my way from Homestead to Orlando Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The check in is in one building and they have a few towers where the rooms are. I had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the lake, nice view, I enjoyed it. The room was clean and spacious, with usual BW amenities, I really like they always have a fridge in the room. Breakfast is included, but not your usual BW hot breakfast. It is actually served in the ihop on site from a set menu. Not a buffet but nice. Would recommend and stay again.

My wife and I were in Ft Myers for business and we had to take our dog with us because no one could dog sit. We tried staying at this hotel, what a nightmare. First I was quoted 3 different prices and 3 different fees for our dog. Then we were told we couldn't get a water view, that our room had to be on the first floor facing parking lot because of pet. After agreeing to the terms, I paid and went to room. It was disgusting. It smelled of dog per and smoke and when you opened the window it looked right on a tiki bar with some guy playing guitar. Not what you want to see when your trying to sleep. I checked out instantly and we left. It was a disaster. We wound up at the Best Western Airport Inn. Way better hotel.

Good check in. Very helpful young man on the reception desk also a good checkout another very helpful and pleasant young lady on the desk. I am normally harsh with my reviews as I tell it how I see it and the respective managers who read the reviews always react badly and leave nasty feedback rather than reading the content and fixing their issues. In this case breath easy the hotel is good. The views from the room were very nice. With a comfortable and clean room. Yes you might read about building works this will not affect your stay it is just with the new receptions area being remodeled. It will not affect your stay. At the present time breakfast is being offered at the ihop/ihob!!! Or what ever it's called now. The servers in here are really miserable and I felt really didn't want the best western guests in the place as they have to work too hard. I feel it is important for the best western management to know of this behavior as it does effect the overall best western experience. Otherwise well worth a stay.

This place is great. The gal at the front desk was excellent. She got 3 phone calls and there was a person in front of us at check in and she got everyone all set inside of 10 minutes! Excellent service. we will stay here the next time we're in town.

The Hotel was a short drive from RSW, Fort Meyers Airport, which was exactly what we wanted due to our quick visit. The rooms all had a balcony and great views. Our room was clean and exactly what we expected. A/C was awesome. I like it cold, not regulated. Parking was plentiful. At the time of our visit the main entrance was under construction, and we had no idea how to get into the lobby to check in because no signs were posted. Many other guests arriving were as confused as we were. The pool was nice, however one major complaint I have is that during the weekend my husband and I noticed parents showed up in groups with many children, and it was clearly evident they were not hotel guests. Although they were eating and drinking at the 3 Fishermans restaurant, which was attached to the hotel, and open to the public, their children were free to enter the pool at their leisure. Some of the boys swam in their shorts and did not have swim suits. The out of control throwing of a tennis ball ended up in a couples hotel room twice until finally the hotel guest kept their ball. Occasionally a happy looking parent would peer over the fence, holding onto their drink, smile to see no one had drowned, call out a child's name for good measure, and then swiftly return to there dinner party. At one point my husband seemed very worried about a young child who had no adult supervision. He was at best 4 yrs. old, holding on and crawling along the inside of the pool. My husband felt obligated to stay in and watch him after the child told him he could not swim. No life guard or pool attendant on duty is a big mistake here. I think people not staying at the hotel should not he allowed to eat, drink, and let their children swim unsupervised in a pool where the majority are paid guests. It is definitely a huge liability to the hotel to disregard knowing who is swimming in their pool. It made me very uneasy while trying to relax at the pool because I felt I may be needed to jump in and save a life. I became a surrogate parent the whole weekend whenever I was at the pool. We would definitely return to the restaurant because the seafood was really delicious, and open to the public. I will not stay at a hotel that has no regard for who is swimming in their pool, because it is just not fair to the paying guests!

Requested low floor got the 5 th floor, Got stuck in microtel sized room,you had to literally kick the door on the bottom to open it. Elevator went out night before I was supposed to leave and was told it would be fixed by the morning needless to say it wasn't so i had to drag my baggage down 5 flight of wet steps,it was raining,The girl at the desk made the mistake of asking me how my stay was but all she had to say was did you book through bw .com? No apology was given...never again will I stay there

I had out if town guests stay at this best western as it provides an awesome view of the river. Great restaurant one site as well as an I hop steps away. Great fitness center and heated pool. Small beach to stroll on and a short walk to Marina town with local live music. 5 mins from downtown shopping and specialty stores. Lively nightlife. Rooms are comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Free breakfast at I hop!

We came back a thirty times and the hotel gets better and cleaner every year. Great view on the Caloosahatchee. Very friendly reception. The new pier is a great addition and makes it much easier to reach this place by boat.

Pretty straightforward hotel, checking in and out was OK. The included breakfast at IHOP left a bit to be desired as they had a special not so good menu for hotel customers. The Three Fishermen restaurant was alright. The room was fine, good view over the river..

There are little flying insects that like to share the balcony with you but are harmless:) Loved laying on the comfortable bed at night looking at the water and lights. Can't wait to come back!!

I was surely skeptical as it was just seemingly another motel. BUT, I was soooo wrong! I never imagined that waterfront would mean the best view in Fort Meyers! The place was under construction but, didn't matter. From the time I got there and even speaking with grounds security I was so happy with the friendliness and professionalism. Getting to the stay and the room, I was blown away. My room was a steal, period! The 6th floor has breathtaking views of the river and downtown Fort Meyers. I mean we are talking insane views. My room was comfy with a desk and big King size bed. Super clean and even had central a/c. Huge flat screen with all the channels and free breakfast at I-Hop!. Of course, the usual's like free fast wifi and nicely folded towels with all the guides you could need to enjoy your stay. Just wonderful. I will definitely be back to my little affordable pie in the sky paradise. Oh, and the restaurant below, like right below, 3 Fisherman Seafood was off the charts. Make sure you get the peel and eat shrimp powdered in Old Bay with side of butter and lemon. Incredible!

Excellent hotel. Between the 3 Fishermen restaurant, the phenomenal views from the rooms and the adjoining beaches and amenities, this hotel enables it occupants to have the perfect Florida experience.

Clean room, friendly service. Beautiful view. It is on the river and there are sailboats out all the time. Nice balcony to sit on and overlook the river. You get a voucher for breakfast at the little IHOP on the property, if you don't get there early on Sundayou will stand in line.

We visit this area reguarly and love staying at this Best Western. It is on the river, overlooking the lovely Ft. Myers skyline and the property is clean, fun and easy to enjoy. Nice pool with pub service and occassionally live music. The seafood restaurant on property is good but pricey. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We will be back.

We came to Ft Myers for Mother's Day weekend and loved it so much, that we stayed an extra day. Beautiful view and well kept rooms, and exterior. I have not stayed in Best Western hotels since the nineties but I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Also, they gave us vouchers every day of our stay for breakfast at IHOP which is just a few steps out of the lobby. We saved a lot of money with this deal. The hotel's exterior and interior was kept clean and orderly. The staff, including the front desk, maids and maintenance, were all very nice and helpful. I think we have found our new Ft Myers hotel. We will stay here again

The location is perfect, we arrived by boat, the dock is protected and in great shape. the hotel overlooks the water. The restaurant at the hotel has a good variety of entrees, the wait staff was great and the food was excellent. we saw dolphins and rays in the marina. the room was clean and comfortable. the staff was friendly and helpful.

I liked our room, pool, landscaping and location. I didn't like the open stairways. Anyone could just walk in off the street and gave access to the rooms. The breakfast was very good, but a long wait. I feel this place was a good value.

We often take time to do a mini-getaway to Ft Myers and love staying at the BW Waterfront. Love the view from the balconies and always eat at the 3 Fishermen Seafood restaurant on the property. They have great fish tacos and the fresher fried okra anywhere. Happy hour pricing makes it a good value. Also included with the room is a breakfast special at the IHOP next door. The limited menu has portions that are just right for us and it included coffee or juice. Good way to start the day after a nice overnighter.

We enjoyed our extended stay very much. The view of the river from our room was great! All of the staff were very friendly. We were treated as valued customers. The two restaurants were convenient and the food/menus were both good.

The room was clean, location was great, nice pool. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed walking around the area. The on-site restaurant was very good and the IHOP for breakfast worked out nicely. Staff was very good, too.

The warmth of the staff and the location near downtown Fort Myers with a view over the river makes this a thrilling experience. There is a trolley that takes you downtown where all the action is and then you get some quiet time after you get back.

The water view in the room was terrific. Room was on the small side but view and balcony made up for it. Personally I would prefer getting the room $10 a day cheaper and not get the 2 free daily IHOP breakfasts. Every time we went for our breakfast (between 9 an 1030) there was a line with waiting anywhere between 30 and 50 minutes. Being on a full schedule we could not wait. Getting up at 7AM to avoid crowds was not an option for us.

We stayed at the Best Western Waterfront on March 9, during our Ft. Myers vacation. It was a nice hotel, and the hotel staff with whom we interacted were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the hotel grounds were clean and well-maintained. The pool area was nice and relaxing, right down by the water. The best aspect of our stay was the spectacular view of the Caloosahatchee River. It's an upgrade to get a room with a water view, but it's worth it. The only negatives are that the traffic noise from the highway and bridge is quite loud, and the room was dated and showed a lot of wear and tear. But like I said, it was clean - and that view... It was cool at night and I called the front desk for an extra blanket - it was brought up promptly and they had warmed it in the dryer. Nice touch! We did not take advantage of the breakfast vouchers at IHOP, although that is a nice benefit. The restaurant within the hotel was busy in the afternoon and they had a good acoustic duo performing live music, which we enjoyed while we were lounging by the pool. Overall, we were pleased with our stay at this hotel, and would consider it again on a return trip to Ft. Myers.

The staff was excellent, the room was spacious ,the I -Hop breakfast was fantastic. Why not five stars ? The shower was really not adequate. Management is carrying the water conservation thing a step or two too far.

The rooms all have a great view of the river. Nice pool and adjacent restaurant. Breakfast is at the IHOP which is located across the parking lot. The folks there were friendly and service was good. We had teh opportunity to see dolphins twice as they came up to the pier area and swam very close to the boardwalk.

Every thing was fine the staff was supper help full.We had a supper nice view of the gulf and was clean around the outer part of the area. also like all of the nice parking area large. I would suggest for other guest to stay there

I booked this room thru Hotwire. Never again. The room was dirty smelled like smokers were using the room. The remote did not work. Hotwire picked the room as a 3 star No way. No hot water in the bathroom sink. Beware of this type of scam where the search engine picks the hotel for you you end up with a dump

We loved being on the water without all the beach traffic. We were close to several restraunts and our balcony faced the river. When we had nothing else to do we just watched the water. Boats came and docked to eat at the restraunt, dolpins slept near the shore in front of our room and one day a couple wind surfers entertained us for hours. It was the most relaxing part of our escape.

The room was nice and the balcony was great. The door getting into the room got stuck and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was at the next door IHOP which was inconvenient and the selection for the hotel menu wasn't that good. And each room only gets two breakfast vouchers so if you have more than two people then you are buying breakfast. Plus there is a window right over the toilet that is blocked from view but is open to noise. Not much privacy there.

Was very disappointed in this hotel especially being a Best Western. Very run down, Large roof fan that constantly runs and smells like fried food. To me, this hotel needs some updating. Room smelled unpleasant and just the one night stay wasn't very comfortable in any way.

My husband and I were pleased with our choice of accommodations. Our room was clean, spacious, and had everything that we needed. The front desk clerk was friendly and gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to see. Our lodging included vouchers for breakfast at the IHOP restaurant that was right next door. While the menu was somewhat limited, ala cart items could be ordered at your own expense. The servers were friendly and the food was good. My only negative comment is that our view on the 2nd floor, room 218, in the East building had a somewhat blocked view of the waterfront due to the Three Fisherman Seafood Restaurant being in front of our balcony. We booked the room during a busy time, so I am assuming all the rooms with a better view were occupied. In the future, I will ask for a room on one of the floors with an unobstructed view. One other issue is that our room was not serviced the first day we were there. We had put the do not disturb sign out when we went to breakfast. Of course, we removed the sign when we left for the day, but somehow our room was missed. I contacted the front desk when we returned. They asked if we needed anything which we didn't. We had no further problems. I would choose to stay there again if we visit the area in the future.

Fantastic views (6th floor recommended), on-site fishing pier (where we caught fish!), free IHOP breakfast, great staff. Our AC broke and we were moved to a larger room, which made the trip. Will return!

There are not a lot of affordable hotel choices in this area. This is a comfortable hotel. Clean. Comfortable beds. Great restaurant in the property—Three Fisherman's. A little outdated, but would stay here again. Nice breakfast choice at IHOP next door.

we spent 2 nights there on 2/28/18 and on 03/01/18 and loved the water view at sunset. we also ate at the seafood restaurant and were very pleased with the food. we found that the staff was very friendly and helpful. we also enjoyed having breakfast at ihop each morning

If you are looking for a place to stay, give the BW Waterfront a try. Many guests are year after year guests. The staff is friendly and accomadating, the rooms are clean, the view overlooking the river is awesome and several restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel...make your reservations soon as they book up fast!

Room is dated. We did have a nice view of the river. It served the purpose of being close by where we needed to be. Breakfast at the nearby IHOP was included. Note: This is a limited breakfast menu. The general area is not a walking and enjoying the area place. Downtown Fort Myers is a short drive over a bridge.

While the property is not new, our room and all of the common areas were clean and nice. The bed pillows were a little soft for me, but that is a personal preference and my spouse was happy with the pillows. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Check in and check out were smooth. The view from the room was a very nice water view. We had one lunch at the restaurant and it was very good. We were visiting family in the area.

The hotel has the potential to be a nice place - it has a beautiful view of the intercoastal (we saw a dolphin by the dock), and nice pool, but that's where it ends. I'm not sure if it was the room we were placed in, but the carpets were dirty (left our feet black), and the door was askew and let in light from the outside - if it lets in light, it lets in bugs. So that brings me to the "palmetto bugs" that were in our room (read: giant cockroaches, but were assured were just "palmetto bugs" (which, if you google, they are indeed, cockroaches)). We booked through Priceline, so again, I'm not sure if we were placed in their worst room - it was handicap accessible so the toilet was crazy high off the ground and the shower didn't drain very well. Being on the ground floor and close to the restaurant there was a lot of noise from outside. The plusses: The staff was friendly. We asked for a crib for our daughter and they brought us a brand new pack-n-play. When we called about the "palmetto bugs" they sprayed around the doors and bathroom. Nice breakfast at the ihop. I wouldn't stay here again given how much we paid and the condition of the hotel just for a view of the water.

We were in Ft. Myers for a two night pre-cruise stay to visit family. We booked this hotel based on web photos and the fact I wanted to be on the water. Photos are a bit misleading. A great view of the water was mitigated by the fact the restaurant was immediately below our balcony as was the waiting line for patrons waiting to get in. The hotel is on the other side of the river from the City of Ft. Myers. The bridge is close by and easily accessible going to the city, but returning can be a bit confusing for tourist. Our sixth floor room was very large, and clean, with the bed being very comfortable. These are the important factors for us. Surprisingly, the breakfast at I-HOP next door was a bit of a disappointment. They had a long waiting list on both Friday and Saturday mornings, and the "free breakfast" selection offered through BW was far more limited than those we received in the other two BW we stayed at on this trip Other than a very good Mexican restaurant next to the I-HOP, and the Hotel's restaurant, there are no others nearby. (May be a factor for some) My "negative" comments are for accuracy of information only, intended to help travellers. We enjoyed our stay at BW Waterfront, and would stay again if visiting Ft. Meyers.

Great property, clean spacious rooms, great pool, greater view. Nice fitness center, friendly help staff, what else do you want? Three Fisherman Restaurant fresh tasty seafood, live entertainment by the pool!

We stayed for one night in February. The room was nice and the view was wonderful. People were friendly and helpful. Long wait for breakfast at IHOP, but the food was fine. Having the luggage cart was very helpful, as this was the end of a long trip.

Stay here when visiting Fort Myers. My wife and I like it better than the beach. It has a beautiful pool area, and is right on the river where you can watch dolphins all day long. There is an on-site seafood restaurant and there is a free trolley to downtown Fort Myers.

I booked a room. for two nights, got confirmation numbers went there and they said you can't stay here you are a Lee County Resident. So I will never stay at ANY Best Western ever again and everyone I talk to says the same thing.

I had never stayed at this property before and booked it knowing it had mixed reviews. We could not have been more pleased. The view, the location and the service (with the exception of the check in clerk) was exceptional. We loved having coffee on the balcony every morning and enjoying the views, even seeing Dolphins. The onsite restaurant and IHop for breakfast were outstanding.It was easy to get to all the places we wanted to vist. The rooms were clean and the service was great. The bathroom is dated but clean. A great place to stay.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We stayed on the last night of out vacation using reward points.you check-in at a building next to the hotel. The fitness room is in this building also. The hotel is clean and has a waterfront location on the river. We sat on the balcony to watch the subset. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was satisfactory. Breakfast vouchers are provided to eat at Denny's, next door to the hotel. There is special menu for quests using vouchers. The breakfast was served quickly and I enjoyed my French toast, sausage and a drink. This hotel is in north Fort Myers and it was about 29 minutes to the airport. The hotel is just across the river from the historic district, parks and marina. We noticed boats on sunset cruises.

Just a weekend out with the girls and this hotel was a perfect match. The rooms are clean, spacious, well equipped with tv, hairdryer, refrigerator, microwave, and large bathroom. We had a gorgeous view of the Caloosahatchie River. The restaurant on site was excellent. Great pier to watch the sun set. Free breakfast at IHOP as a perk from the hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in January and bought it as a "Hot rate" so we didn't know what hotel we were getting. Besides the front desk staff being helpful the property itself is worn down, old and in a bad neighborhood. There was not a proper window on the bath room to the outside so you could hear sirens and people all night long. They have tried to update the interior of the rooms but the bathrooms and overall hotel were in need of a makeover. If I wouldn't have paid in advance I would have checked out after one night and went somewhere else.

I called about 3 hours before we were to arrive, to check on our reservations. I made them for 2 rooms, 2 nights online in November. Hilda told me I had one room in one bldg and another in different bldg, plus it was a handicap room! I never asked for one, I am diamond select, expect more from BW.. I was so upset , we were traveling with another couple, wanted rooms next to each other. Hilda re assured me she would work something out. She called me back shortly with good news. She got us rooms next to each other, with nice view of water and partial view of pool. FYI in future always call hotel if making reservations online. Also ask for pool view. Thank you Hilda, she needs a raise! Hotel is older, but well kept and clean. They have a seafood restaurant attached. Very good, service is slow. One problem they have delivery trucks park next to hotel with their engines running, very loud. When sitting on deck or outside, you cat hear anything!

I'm here, right now,...1/31/18 as I type. First, I was greeted warmly...The people are solid and helpful and friendly, but the property is shoddy and unkept...i happened to be blessed with an accessible room on the first floor. I called to change but they're sold out. The front door which faces the unsecured parking lot as do, i believe, most of the rooms, doesn't quite close all the way, but there is a deadbolt and a chain. Chain? It's 2018. The parking lot is shared with an IHOP and it is the IHOP that is the free breakfast option. As I walked into my room some random guy walking the parking lot stopped and glared at me and into the room.The room seems clean overall. There was a random pillow case on the bed, just lying there when I walked into the room which just told me that the attention to detail isn't sharp. I've already killed a few flying insects, probably because the win dow in the bathroom remains open and cannot be completely closed, but has some sort of screwed in brackets (don't know what else to call them) that probably prevent the window from being accessible to the outside world. The rear, sliding patio door which faces the back of the adjacent restaurant and lounge, doesn't lock at all (the locks are there but don't function), but there's a door jam that the guest can position so that the door probably can't be opened. The TV didn't initially work...but was fixed immediately. The people are working here but it's just a lousy property. There's no way I would bring my family here. Not a three star or four star on the best day. My bad for being cheap on this stay.

Our family flew into Tampa and traveled around the lower half of the state in a circle staying at a different hotel each night. This hotel was our best hotel out of 7! Very clean room. Great view. well kept grounds. Children loved the pool, but it was cold. I wish we would have ate super there as it smelled so good. Breakfast was at the Ihop. That was great, but I would have much rather had it in the hotel and one needs to tip at Ihop. Please do so for the workers. The tip is not included in your hotel stay and the staff works hard. I would stay again for sure!

Nice very pleasant staff who upgraded my room when I arrived . A very comfortable bed that was almost as comfortable as home., wonderful view, overall enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was great. Would recommend it if your in the area.

We tried to stay here because our home was destroyed by hurricane Irma and we couldn't stay in our home. My son, my 14 yr old dog, and myself needed a pet friendly place to stay for a couple of weeks but when the hotel found out we were local residents, we were refused a room and told that was their policy and would not budge. They are only out to make as much money for rooms from tourists but considering the circumstances, it was hard to see no compassion for someone looking for help.

Best value for the views of the caloosahatchee river great personnel restaurant imbedded on the property Other restaurants and diners nearby I stayed November December and into January because of the damage my home sustained from Hurricane Irma

But for the accomodation of the desk manager, I'm not sure I would have given this place any rating at all. We got to our room and realized we were directly above the band at the pool, which was blasting away. Not good for two seniors. Retruned to the lobby area and asked if we could be given a different room. Unable to do was the response. They did however refund our money which they indicated should have been forfeited becuase we "cancelled" ...the desk manager reversed that clerk's answer.

Great hotel. Good views. Nice restaurant and bar downstairs who are very accommodating to groups and times for your visit. Higher floors have better views, but we didn't spend much time on the balcony. Easy access to ballparks and beaches.

This place is among the dirtiest places I've ever seen/stayed at, if not the dirtiest. After submitting pictures of the filthy air vent filter that caused a horrible allergy for the entire night, a dry bloody booger on the wall, sheets with stains all over them, I mean at least 6 or 7 big dark gray stains, the management apologized and invited me for a 1 night comp stay at the place that I had the worst nightmare staying with all the issues. A BIG JOKE Do yourself and your family a huge favor and stay away from this dumpster.

This was one of our favorite hotels while on our Florida Road Trip. The front lobby was inviting and very clean. The staff were extremely helpful and our check in was fast and easy. There was ample safe parking and the area was great to walk around. We were also given a voucher for breakfast at the IHOP which shared the same parking lot. At IHOP we were given a separate menu which had many similar items as their regular menu. If you would still like to order from the regular menu the value of the voucher (around $6 per person) was applied to your bill. That was one of the highlights of our stay as we were hoping to make it to an IHOP at some point. Our room was very nice and on the small side. We were on the ground floor near the elevator which was a bit noisy. Our balcony was right beside the pool and adjoining restaurant. We were able to walk out to the docks and waterfront quite easily. We had dinner at the adjoining seafood restaurant which was very good. The quality of food and value for our money was right on. I would recommend the restaurant for sure. There were no other restaurants that were very close that we could walk to. I wish we could have spent more time here but we were only staying for one night. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and I would stay there again given the opportunity.

This BW meets every possible criterion. Private balconies overlooking the river harboring dolphins and mannatees, plus fishing from hotel pier. Sunrise and sunset views. Hotel dock is at foot of one of Ft. Meyers Top Ten restaurants. Much more importantly, BW Waterfront finds and retains incredibly competent and pleasant staff. A Starbucks with 30 minute free parking and a super Publix truly 3 minute run across bridge to downtown Ft. Myers. Edison Estate 5 minutes away, along with more top restaurants. Sanibel causeway so quickly and easily reached. Then return to a great room in a hotel property with true 24 hour security Longterm stay w daily includes pool next to full service restaurant.

We selected this place since we decided on going here quite late and only a few extremely expensive options were available at Sanibel or Ft. Myers Beach. This area is not very nice, there are a lot of ready-to-tear-down commercial buildings along the street. But we did not stay here to explore this area, so it was OK for us. We got a room on the 3rd floor, and the view from the room's patio was spectacular. With the Ft. Myers skyline (not that Ft. Myers has a lot of skyline, but anyways) The patio was perfect to sit and relax and grab a beer in the evening sun. We had breakfast at the IHOP next door which was included in the stay at the hotel (a limited menu that was included). We also had dinner one evening at the Three Fishermen restaurant that was located at the premises. We spent the late evenings in the pool area relaxing in the sun. Could stay here again if being in Ft. Myers. One that that could be improved upon though: The doors should need some better foam or rubber seal. There's a lot of the noise from the nearby road getting into the room this way.

The pros are that the staff is very friendly and the water view is nice and they accept pets. Unfortunately there are a lot of cons. The place is dirty and needs to be sprayed for bugs both in the Fisherman's rest. associated with the hotel and the room itself. The beds creak, the pillows are hard and the bathrooms are in need of a lot of updating. The hotel itself seems to be located is a distressed area. Lots of shopping strips sit vacant. I can think of a lot better places to stay! Sorry..

My family and I were visiting relatives in Fort Myers and I snagged this hotel at an unbelievable rate with breakfast, wifi, pool and an incredible waterviews. Breakfast was at IHOP daily ( how can you go wrong with that?) and the pool overlooked a bay that is fed by the Gulf. There was a small beach but it was in great need of a cleanup and the restaurant offered great waterfront views and delicious seafood, but needs a bit of updating. My girls really enjoyed the pool area which was lovely and framed with palm trees. The room was average and the hallways were in need of updating but overall, it's the surprise we haven't stopped talking about at an incredible price.

Always enjoy staying here. Great views of the waterfront (wide area of Caloosahatchee River). Many casual restaurants near by and Hotel provides breakfast vouchers to adjacent IHOP. Hotel has a large dock on the riverfront and does not charge for docking.

We were moving from North Ft. Myers to a more northern city in Florida. I called and made a reservation with the hotel directly. They never asked if I was from the area, Lee County, Florida, or not. After a very long day of moving we arrived at the Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront and at that point we were told we could not stay there because they don't let local residents, ie: Lee County Residents, stay there! This was a complete shock to us and they had more than enough rooms to accommodate us! We ended up at a new hotel clear out by the airport (extremely inconvenient for us since the Best Western was around the corner from our old home). It's a very pathetic and stupid policy especially when it's not season! I wouldn't stay there now if they paid me the $135 for the night!

The view of this hotel of river saved the day. If you are a light sleeper this hotel may be a problem. The road was extremely busy and loud. The hotel is OK but could use some updating. The location however is great and that is why we booked. We went to the Edison Museum which was only 2.5 miles away. At night we went to the Broadway Palms-5 miles away and saw Chicago at the dinner theater. It was great. Downtown is just across the bridge. The desk staff was very nice and great with questions. We stayed for 2 nights and when we got back to hotel at 2:30pm 2nd day to rest and get ready for dinner room was not cleaned.

We have never stayed at a Best Western hotel and that sure is going to change! Of all the hotels we have stayed at this year (about two months worth. This hotel had the best view, service and value. It maximized the Florida experience.

After waiting for 2 hours to do my check in time I get a room that had dirty bed sheets. They were full to capacity and short on housekeeping. I felt sorry for the girls in the front desk they were very respectful and trying to keep the guest at ease but receiving a room with stains on the bed sheet didn't make the cut. Will I stay there again, never say never is my motto but reality is that next time I won't accept a room in that conditions again.

I have already typed it out. Very dissatisfied with the room. Ceiling leaked and I slipped on the bathroom floor from the AC freezing up. Luckily I was not injured. Maintenance was there immediately There were roaches and other small bugs in the room and I had never even opened the slider window.

Old, dirty, bugs, restaurant inedible, outdoor entrances. Way beyond renovation. Only pleasant experience was in the IHOP next door (they give you a breakfast coupon). Ordered a burger medium rare at the restaurant at 9pm (it was deserted). Waited 30 min and received shoeleather. Walked out and went to IHOP.

We were visiting the Edison & Ford Winter Estates and needed a place to stay. I chose the Best Western Waterfront for the river view offered in some rooms. We were on the fourth floor and the view of the river with Ft. Myers in the background was spectacular at night. During the day, the breeze from the water was delightful. The room was large, quiet, not over furnished (but convenient) and everything was clean. The air quality was excellent and we could open the sliding doors to allow fresh air. I can't remember when we could do this at any other hotel. I was impressed by the thoughtfulness of a personal modem on the desk. They seem to really care about the comfort and convenience of their guest. Breakfast is not on premises but the hotel has an arrangement of sorts with the IHop right across the parking lot. We got cards to present to the hostess, were given a very nice 'special' menu and ate for free. Clean, courteous and tasty! They even included my take out coffee in the free offer. The waterfront retaurant at the base of the hotel is very good. Service, food and convenience (especially if you want to have a drink or two) can't be beat. We also received a coupon for a free drink from the hotel. I don't think we've ever had a more pleasant stay. We aren't fussy. We don't make demands other than to have a comfortable stay and we certainly did. Can't wait to go back to Ft. Myers so we can stay again.

We are loyal to Best Western facilities when looking for somewhere to stay. Fort Myers Waterfront was by far the worst ever. The room smelled old. Though that could be overlooked by owning the patio door. The bedding on the bed could not. When we turned the bed down we were shocked to see the stain/ filth. There also looked like dried blood on it. Otherwise the bed had looked clean and made up when we arrived. The maintenance man who responded to our call changed the sheets, blanket and mattress pad which was also stained/ dirty. He seemed embarrassed. The morning desk personnel shrugged it off and said they would tell housekeeping.

the room was clean and the service was great. the seafood restaurant was excellent. the staff at front desk and the cleaning staff was friendly. the breakfast vouchers for ihop was good too but you were limited to what you could have free.

Other than prices going up, this is still my go-to place in Fort Myers. It is convenient to downtown as well as my Eagle Watching up the road. Love the breakfast at IHOP - beats general hotel fare. First time I was not on the ground floor, so a much better view of the bay.

This hotel had a comfortable room and good service. It has a pool overlooking the river and the marina. One of my favorite restaurants , Three Fisherman, is actually in the hotel. Reasonable price and I would recommend it.

Clean rooms with balcony (great view of Fort Myers and overlooking the river) Pool is also clean and poolside restaurant bar seems to be really popular, even with the locals. Breakfast is included in the rate over at IHOP, which is right on the premises. Quick ride to downtown if you're looking for more restaurant choices, but there is a great steakhouse next door and a Rib City that is within walking distance. This is a great hotel for the money. We will be back.

Whenever we get the chance to do a getaway to Fort Myers, we stay at this BW. We LOVE the view from the balconies and the 3 Fishermen restaurant. It is not the newest or fanciest, but they do ongoing maintenance and improvements so we find it comfortable. The IHOP breakfast that is included is not huge, but just right for us and we appreciate the amenity.

We would stay here again. View was outstanding. Close to every thing that we wanted to see. Close to IHOP. Only bad thing was we had a short visit. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place to any one. We picked this place to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. Not far from home but far enough we felt it was a mini vacation.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was super helpful and were so kind about having a late check out (as we were recovering from jet lag and needed that extra couple hours!) The views from the room are beautiful and the pool was great. I would recommend this to anyone traveling in the area!

There where cob webs in the corners and the air vents needed to be cleaned. Mold in the shower and dirt/dust under the sink. Beds where wonderful and the view was stunning. Breakfast at IHOP was terrible.

Looking at most hotel waterfront hotels one always wonders if there really is a waterfront view from their room. Well this hotel has a great best kept secret... almost all rooms have a nice waterfront view! Hotel has two buildings with outside entrances. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. I woiud stay here again.

This is always a pleasure to stay at this Resort style Hotel, with waterfront rooms. they all have balconies or patios, that look out to the river, where we have seen Dolphins. Very exciting! You can't go wrong, large rooms, made to order real breakfast, and its Free. Very nice waterfront restaurant on property. If you are lucky enough to find a room. All I can say is book it!

The 3 Fishermen restaurant sits in the middle of the two hotel buildings. So if you sit at the pool you have an overwhelming smell of greasy frying fish. If you sit on your balcony you smell greasy frying fish. If you leave the sliding glass door or curtain you smell greasy frying fish. What a shame the view is beautiful . The hotel is also close to the road so a lot of road noise. Very disappointing!

TV did not work! I called the front desk and they said nothing could be done until the next day, which was the day I checked out. At checkout they said they could not take anything off of my bill because I prepaid. They offered to add more points to my Best Western rewards, in which I was not a member...I then joined so I would get extra points.....Really???

Very friendly staff!!! The room was clean and the decor was modern.The balcony was spacious with a splendid view. It was very quiet. The shrimp at the onsite restaurant was succulent. Totally awesome experience!

We were throughly impressed with our room and view of the river. The room was clean androomy. The bed was comfortable. We stayed in the east tower. The only drawback was the traffic noise from Cleveland Ave. I would stay her again.

we would have liked to have stayed one more night, but apparently the hotel was completely booked. The view was awesome and the pool looked good, although we did not get time to use it. My wife & I stayed here for three days and it was great! The room was big & clean with a great view of the Calloosahatchee River. The breakfast is @ the IHOP in the parking lot with a nice seafood restaurant for lunch/dinner between the two towers. Everyone was friendly & helpful here. If you are in the area STAY HERE!

When ever we have a chance we like staying at the BW Waterfront in North Fort Myers. The staff does a great job, the rooms are very clean and the view across the river looking at Fort Myers is fantastic.I would highly recommend this motel.

What a great surprise this place was! Not 1, but 2 restaurants right at this hotel! Views were fabulous and staff was excellent! We will definitly book here again. They are remodeling the outside and even the workers were pleasant and concerned about us. Looking forward to going back there!

I love this hotel, we stayed on business and it was perfect for location. The service was good, the price reasonable, rooms very clean and modern with a stunning view of the river and Ft Myers on the other side. Breakfast was at IHOP each morning which is always a winner. Truly had no downsides. No on site laundry mat but a good place was just around the corner.

Nice view from every room pretty nice. The only thing is my son like his free breakfast buffet not available here. The staff was pretty nice I was just leaving from another hotel that was flooded and they helped.

We had driven a long way and were tired. We were pleasantly surprised at the good rates offered by this hotel. The guy at check-in was so grumpy but grudgingly let us have a room in the sun. All the rooms overlooked the river and the views were great. The rooms were large and well appointed. The bathroom was huge with a bath. There was a microwave, fridge, tv, air con, and wi-fi in the room. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby and free breakfast at IHOP right next door. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Noisy room - 4th floor but it sounded like I was in the parking lot. Room was hot then cold all night. I was woken at 3am and never could go back to sleep. Moldy old bathroom and very dirty elevator. Beer cans and beer poured in the floor.

Room was clean, however lobby smelled like major pet odor. I understand that it is pet friendly, but that wasn't pleasant. Pool closes way to early and breakfast taste like we were eating in a school cafeteria. Expected a little more for the price of the rooms.

This property has continuously gone down hill over the last 3 years since I have stayed here... Rooms have pealing paint and ants... the rooms are noisy and we heard continuous loud yelling early in the morning by other guests... I had booked many room nights here over the years, but will no longer stay here... pricing is high for what you get and the whole place should be remodeled to stay relevant and competitive..

We booked this hotel a week before Hurricane Irma was coming our way. The lady answering the phone on site booked our room and assured us that it would only be cancelled if the storm reached CAT 5 winds when approaching Florida. The day before the storm we packed up our family of 5 including 2 toddlers and secured our property feeling confident we would be safer at our hotel. We wanted to stay close in town because we also have livestock and such that we wanted to check on as soon as the storm was over. When we arrived, the hotel had a sign on the door saying they had closed and evacuated. I had then experienced major panic as I looked at my family wondering where we could go to be safe with such short notice. We were NEVER CALLED OR EMAILED about the cancellation and I have proof of that. And here we are getting emails asking how our stay was when we were totally left stranded and scared during the storm. HORRIBLE situation we were put through with this hotel. I don't believe their facility was under mandatory evacuation but either way, there was PLENTY of time to notify us beforehand.

Our partners at Best Western International did their best to reach out to each guest we had arriving but unfortunately in a crisis situation it was not 100%. We had a great time at this hotel the view of the river is awesome. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we will be coming back again. The 3 Fisherman restaurant is really good. Its a great location close to the beaches but not that close.

Great location on the riverfront. Views from the rooms are amazing. The staff was exceptional from the front desk to housekeeping. I had seen this hotel when in the area previously. I made a reservation here wanted to experience what it had to offer. The staff - Hilda - was exceptional. The staff offers service above and beyond the norm. This hotel fronts the river - the views are great. They also offer two restaurants on site - you never have to leave your room. My room was on the 4th floor - riverfront - very relaxing. The hotel is older - the rooms are very large. They offer you a free breakfast in the IHOP next door. The room was clean - some smudges on the microwave. A very quiet location. The staff at the IHOP was great especially Danny - the really care about the customers. The other restaurant on site is the 3 Fisherman. They offer direct television - great channel selection choices. This location is great close to dining and shopping and the city is across the bridge. I will be back here when I travel back to the area. Keep Up The Good Work !!!

I want to come again. this hotel is very clean and welcoming. Nice view and 20 min from an airport. Beautiful and clean area around. Near by, everybody can enjoy calm bay and beautiful view. I liked the restaurant with varies of exotic food.

I was very disappointed in the room. I stayed in the same hotel six months before and I was truly amazed at the service. This time it was terrible. The room was small, and while it was clean, it just seemed dingy. This place has either changed management or something because it has fallen from grace.

Loved the 6th floor water side! Room was clean and up to date! The only complaint I had was that the bed closest to the window had a big time draft coming from the air conditioner. Changing the vents did not help due to them only moving a small amount and not enough to correct the problem.

We stayed at this property while visiting relatives in North Ft Myers. It is a great location right on the bay. The rooms are convenient, clean and in good shape. The hotel provides breakfast at the IHOP next door which is quite good. The only issue was the volume of guests going at the same time along with non-guests. So there was a wait one day for 30 minutes.

We stayed a week here. It's conviently located to causeways, highways and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The area seemed safe and was well lit. Small grass areas is you have a dog. We would stay here again.

We were very happy with our very large King room. The free breakfast at IHOP was a delicious treat. The pool was wonderful. The view and sunsets were amazing. The internet was the worst. It was very unreliable and we were not able to connect or keep a connection once we were connected. Downloading email was a challenge. Don't rely on their wifi connection unless they do something major to revamp it.

I like this hotel as it is close to everything we need to be by when we go to Fort Myers. It is on the water and you get breakfast at IHOP. The price is high for the area.The rooms all have balconies which is nice. I would ask for a room on a higher floor over looking the water.

My Stay was not that great the 1st room was gross the bathroom was very dirty had to clean it myself took pictures they moved me. It was better until the dead roach I found one day, and the elevator each I took was disgusting I wonder why they never cleaned it. I mean never. I stayed there 3 nights.

My husband and I rarely can travel together because we have to "special needs" dogs and one of us has to always be there with them. Then I discovered this hotel, and their dog-friendly policy! And they are true to their word! Our, rather large, dogs were welcomed at check-in with a doggie bandana! Our room was large and so relaxing! Restaurant on sight was a fun and delicious experience. Had the pleasure of staying in one of their "Superior King Suites", and let me tell you, everything about this stay proved to be absolutely superior. From check-in to check-out, and everything in between, I could not have asked for a better experience. The front desk clerks named Skye and Hilda were especially helpful, and this property is extremely lucky to have these two dedicated employees at the head of house, making guest's experiences as wonderful as they did with mine! The view from this rooms river facing balcony is spectacular, and once paired with the delicious free breakfast from IHOP that they offer, there is simply nothing better. I would recommend this hotel over ANY others in the area in a heartbeat, so if you are in the area, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a beautiful stay!

Very clean, very friendly and helpful. The view is so nice, we left our curtains open all night. Only thing was the ice machine was broken on our floor, but not a big deal. Great docks for boats and next door was a place to rent water sports.

We reserved our 3 rooms months in advance & specifically asked for a higher room and not to be on the first floor. They put us on the 1st floor and 2 of the rooms were handicap rooms. We had to pay them an extra $50 just so we could switch one room. We did not have any wash cloths for three days because they said "they were out". They told us to just use the towels instead which were bulky and awkward. I had to go to Walmart at night with the kids past their bedtime to buy wash cloths so we could shower. I never heard of a hotel running out of wash clothes until i came here. We come here every year on vacation but we will not be returning. I did not expect the treatment we received especially since we were loyal customers to this hotel. I would rate this past experience a 0 if i could. I am so disappointed. My family did not enjoy the stay. This was supposed to be a fun vacation because we live in Tennessee but it was the opposite and stressful. This was the worst experience we have had with any hotel.

Great hotel, beautiful view, love the restaurant on the river, the room was huge with plenty of space... we love to stay here on our first night of vacation, usually Friday nights before heading over to Sanibel Island on Saturday. We stayed at hotel for 6 nights, and we had a room with a beautiful view on ocean and pool. Rooms are very clean, only they need a little fan in bathroom because after you shower it gets very hot and steamy inside. I love the free breakfast in IHOP! And hotel itself is on close destination to different beaches and mall, but close driving destinations. We get a amazing deal on price and our stay was very exciting!!

Location was really good. My view of the river was awesome. The room was pretty spacious. Not a fan of DIRECTV but others that are wouldn't find that to be an issue. The restaurant had excellent service and I really enjoyed the IHOP breakfast!

I stayed here on the 4th of July weekend. I went to the front desk twice and experienced very professional, polite, welcoming team of receptionists (Hilda and Skye) I was surprised how Hilda quickly built reports with me and the costumers from the moment we entered, eye contact, smile, greetings, and all very professional and effective. When I told Skye about my bad day of losing my car key and losing time for the breakfast, she gave me a to-go package right away! She was caring about customers' needs and made quick actions. This made my day. They did the best for their business when no one was there to observe. They are precious assets for any business. I will definitely consider this place as my first choice any time I go to this city, because of them, also I will make sure that I will book my room directly through the hotel number as according to my experience and Hilda's information it is about %20 cheaper that Express deals on Priceline. The rooms were very clean, neat and in very good condition.

The receptionist at checkout was the worst experience at best western that I ever had her name Hilda she was careless and the manager on duty acted the same way she don't even have a badge with her name to identify her she looks Asian ,was my favorite beachfront hotel not anymore.

This was a very good value. Room was fine and comfortable although not spectacular. Employees were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast at iHop was a nice touch and we enjoyed the food and service at The Three Fishermen restaurant. We'll be back.

I stayed at the Best Western Ft Meyers Waterfront for a second time last month. It was a quick trip, but I really enjoyed my stay. I love the restaurant they have onsite and the drink specials and service were excellent. Upon check out, Andrew at the front desk was suburb! I had some questions and he was able to accommodate all my requests and also helped me mail a postcard. Thank you for the excellent service, Andrew! The IHOP next door was a great treat too. I won't hesitate to visit this nice hotel again. Highly recommend!

Clean rooms, beautiful view, breakfast coupons for IHOP. Nice restaurant conveniently located on the hotel grounds with bar and patio. Be aware that residents in Lee Co Fl can not stay at this hotel. A+

Very happy with the hotel and incredible view. Each morning we got to watch the dolphins. Very happy with the price and staff. The only issue the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Staff was very accommodating when we asked for pool towels.

This is a great hotel for work or play! It has a good location. It's close to a lot of things, restaurants within walking distance as well as on site. Room is nicely decorated with comfy bed, convenient coffee maker and plenty of outlets. Aside from seeing the top of the restaurant, most rooms have a beautiful water front view. The staff are always friendly and courteous. I like staying here for work, it's close to many of my customers. I'd stay here for a vacation too!

I loved the room and the view was amazing. They could have dusted the room, and they could have more channels on the tv but the wifi made up for it when it wasn't raining. But it's highly recommended.

I travel three weeks out of every month for business. This hotel was average. My main comment would be that the staff needs more customer service training. They were rude and short with my check-in. My reservations were confirmed and paid for in advance so there should have been no problems.

My son, a Ft. Myers resident, recommended this hotel to stay in during our visit there. It will be my landing place from now on, when I travel to Ft. Myers. Great ambiance, clean and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. One of the best restaurants in the area is right next to the hotel and it's right on the river. I loved it!. An IHop is also right on the property for breakfast and lunch. We certainly received value for the price.

A great stay! Great staff, great food and very nice views! A very convenient location for us as we were traveling to other areas north of here. The IHOP breakfast voucher was a real deal. We had a balconey waterfront view which was very pleasing. Everyone from front desk to restaurant was very accommodating!

In town for baseball tournament staff was very accommodating and IHOP breakfast was a plus but cards are only worth $6 and change. So good to know in the future. Nice view out our room. Very clean and good location for where the fields were located.

This hotel was overrated, the room was dark and dingy, and outdated, needs remodel, the lounge smelled of smoke, the breakfast was at IHop and very limited in food variety. The view of the river was wonderful and the pool was very nice. Also the was a very restaurant at the hotel but separate from the hotel.

We had a great time at this hotel. The setting was awesome and what a great way to end the night by sitting on the balcony and just looking at the beautiful sky and water. We did eat at the restaurant and it was great. The room was wonderful and very comfortable.

This bw has an antique 'slider' to gather credit card numbers. SO-- if your card is a new chip-card---- without raised numbers--- they take it to the photo copier and copy both sides. !!!! They are "required" to retain this photocopy in their files. Perhaps they are unaware of the fact that many copiers leave a mirror image of that data on the copier drum? Perhaps they are unaware of the level of credit card theft that us is occurring?? This is unacceptable to me but I had no other option for the night. Come on!! Get the correct updated equipment!!

We stayed one night on Saturday Memorial Weekend. We had a great rate through a baseball tournament. The lobby was busy but Destiny worked efficiently to get everyone taken care of. We were on the second floor with a limited view room. It had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. We looked over the restaurant but could see the inlet just fine. The room was very large and so was the bathroom. Everything was clean and updated. The wifi was slow but usable. The entry door needs to be sealed better to block the outside noise. Walking on the "beach" was a short lived thought. Tucked in the corner of the inlet, a lot of rough shells, plants, and junk wash up. A couple of people were fishing from shore and the docks. The cocktails from the restaurant were refreshing by the pool on a hot day. There were plenty of people swimming and playing corn hole. We ate dinner at the 3 Fisherman on-site restaurant. Everything was fine but right out of 1990. The crab stuffing squeezed right from the tube from the supplier with literally a square of cheese melted on top. Baked potatoes wrapped in foil with the little round peel top margarine and a tube of sour cream. Should have known when 99% of the people in there and leaving were ummmm, older than me. You don't dare change what Fred and Ethel have been ordering every Tuesday night for 20 years. The balcony was enjoyable and the beds were comfy. The grounds were very clean and flowers and plants throughout. We received 2 vouchers for the IHOP across the parking lot. It was crowded but the food and service were good. We'll definitely stay again.

For the price, very good. Beautiful view, nice breakfast. The only problem I had with the hotel was staff at the reception made us feel less than welcomed. Everything from finding our reservations, to getting the passes for the breakfast was an issue. They need to work on their customer service skills.

Our room had great view of the water, it was pet friendly. The pool was amazing and it was close to great restaurants. The staff was very friendly even gave our puppy a Best Western bandana!:) it was definetily on of the best BW hotel we have stayed at.

The hotel was tiny ugly dirty with stains on the sheets. In the pictures it looked much larger and had a great view but the outside was also very small and nothing special. Very disappointing. Did not stay longer then 10 minutes.

Great price, location on river has lovely waterfront. We just flew in and was looking to head to Sanibel right away. Little annoyed when I tried to check in an hour or so early and the front desk told me the room wasn't ready and they would call when it was. Traveling with small children, it was frustrating when she called 15 min. Later, we were already on our way out. Not a huge deal, but felt it was done as a formality. Place was nice, but don't eat at the seafood restaurant there. No Bueno.

I have stayed here twice now for work visits to Fort Meyer's. Check in is quick with friendly help. The view from the rooms is really nice of the Bay. It has a restaurant but I have not eaten there yet. It comes with free breakfast at the I-HOP next door to the motel. Rooms are large and clean, nice pool.

Very Clean which is always #1 on my list of things needed!!! No problems with being disturbed. We stayed on the top floor and the view was amazing. Helpful Staff. Clean exterior! No problems with noise from neighbors and even thought he pool was right under us it was not loud in our room or on our balcony. Great place. Will return.
