Best Western Hotel Rosenau

This was the perfect Hotel. Atmosphere, walking to everything you need, a big Park, shopping. The hotel had a full restaurant and Bar. The breakfast was more than the usual Breakfasts' in the US. The restaurant and Bar were open during morning and early evening hours. When closed, more than ample restaurants around town. Rooms were spacious, especially the double room. You didn't feel trapped. This hotel should have a Red sign or Premium sign, not a Blue sign. What made this hotel special, service, service, service. They took the time to sell us a bottle of wine when the bar was closed. Will go there again. Remember though- Germany restaurant hours- 7-11, then 2-5 in hotels. That's Germany. No laundry, pool, or AC in the rooms- that's Germany. Will definitely go again. Seemed as though everyone knows the Rosenau.

Location is perfect, minute's walk from the fabulous park. Atmosphere in the hotel nothing to write about, the check in staff was friendly, but that was all. Staff at breakfast was invisible, and Saturday evening dinner at the Hotel is out of the question. The rooms are very spacious, clean, but dated. I visit Bad Nauheim frequently and this was the first time I stayed in the Rosenau. Bad Nauheim is worth a visit, nice little restaurants and of course if you an Elvis Presley fan, this is the place to be.

Friendly personnel. Terrible wifi. If you have to work remotely, this is a reason for me to skip the hotel in the future. Impossible to work.

Spent last night here, we had not booked as we are in the process of driving through Europe. The staff lovely and pleasant, very helpful. Room was clean and the breakfast plentiful. Will stay again for sure.

Unfortunately, the stay was no quite as good as it could have been. The room was fine, all mod cons, but the hallway carpet was in a dismal state of affairs. It was rather soiled and looked like it had not seen a vacuum cleaner in many many days. Equally, I had stayed there one year ago already, and had then pointed out that the elevator light would not light up. After one year, this has still not been repaired. It might be a good idea to up maintenance a bit.

5 Star rating for an excellent hotel. The food and drink is varied with a mix of both hot and cold available during the day. The rooms clean, tidy and spacious. All staff are friendly and go out of their way to be of help.

The hotel staff are very nice and friendly, especially the older gentleman who sits outside at night. Unfortunately I can't recommend this hotel. Despite being branded as a Best Western, it lacks some of the basic amenities one would expect from the brand. No air conditioning in the hotel! The windows do not have screens, so you can expect a few bugs to come in at night. The parking lot is too small, and it was full one night. We had to park a block away and then get up at 7:30 AM to move the car so we wouldn't get a fine.

Basic standard, clean and ordered. Also the single room is comfortable, despite missing the refrigerator. The only real limit in hot season is that also a cooling fan is not present and the room was very hot. You don't need the sauna in the basement, you can enjoy an inroom sauna service.

I stayed there for 12 days. The room was very clean, the housekeeping services good. Because it was a humid spell of weather, the room was extremely hot and the window only opened a crack but I asked for an extra fan and that helped solve the problem. I only had breakfast there one day but from what I experienced, it was very nice. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. The hotel is situated near a very beautiful park and also close to town.

We were pleased to find ourselves next to the nicely landscaped Kurpark across the street, just an agreeable 15 minutes walk from the town center. The first night we spent in a room, where we found the double bed not quite wide enough. There also was an irritating humming sound that hotel management could not get rid of. On request we moved on the same floor to a room that was larger, had a wider bed, a mini bar and an espresso maker. Breakfast was included in the rate. On our request, staff found us in the kitchen some plain oat flakes in addition to the sweetened granola provided on the buffet. Breakfast offered a rich variety of food, including home-made items. Fried eggs can be ordered fresh. The restaurant had light tasty vegan options for lunch. I liked my quinoa-vegetable-tofu dish while my wife enjoyed a colorful summer salad. Parking on-site was free, WLAN was free with excellent performance and stability.

Was a nice hotel, nice location and the room was very nice. the lack of any english speaking tv channels made for a challenge watching the news. The room was clean, and everything functioned as it should. The internet speed was excellent for light surfing and watching netflix.

The room was big and quiet despite facing the road on the second floor. Wide selection for breakfast buffet that seemed to be more frequented by business travelers since we were the only ones there towards the end of the serving period. Free parking and easy walking distance to the main part of this village that wasn't damaged during WWII. Who knew that Elvis did his military service there in the late 50s. There's a memorial in the park nearby where he lived.

I needed a place to stay when visiting some of my friends in Bad Nauheim. My fiend suggested the Best Western because it was clos to his flat and a good price. Upon my arrival, the front desk found a good room on the third floor (second floor in German floors) and it was really nice and clean. The hotel offered a free bottle of water and was very accommodating. The breakfast was good and the dining room was very spacious. The only drawback was there was no air conditioning and no fan to circulate the air in the room.

To be honest maybe I got the only iffy room and for the 3 days that the regular cleaner was mm holiday, because having seen some of the other reviews I have to wonder! I'll pass over the lack of warmth at reception and start the story at the point I tried to enter my 'Deluxe /Superior Room'. I say try because it took about 3 attempts owing to the bent key (yes how quaint, am actual key...I was surprised too).. once inside it took a reasonable amount of effort to get the key out and lock the door. Unperturbed I placed my luggage on the stand; repeated the knack of locking the door (again suspecting the key would snap or at best refuse to leave the lock) and went to reception. Apparently it's the fault of non-Germans who do not understand that German locks are subtly different and so the keys get bent, apparently if I am lucky they may replace the key tomorrow... now call me old fashioned, but this didn't feel like customer service. I'll cut to the chase; room was dusty, toilet had not been cleaned properly, drains smelled when I first used the sink and if this was Superior / Deluxe then I was perhaps in North Korea rather than Germany! Did I complain, no because to be honest I was stuck there for 3 days and the bent key discussion did not fill me with hope. The final straw was the cleaner replacing the used tea cup, but not taking the dirty one away. I won't talk about breakfast because to be honest I couldn't face it.

The overwhelming impression of this hotel was that it was still early in its journey to modernity. The room key was an actual metal key. The elevator was a rugged blast from the past. The room did not have air conditioning, but there was a small fan placed on the desk to help combat the heat. The window could be opened, but doing so created a lot of road noise. Speaking of noise, conversations in the hall could be easily heard in the room. The number of electrical outlets in the room was limited. The clock was stuck flashing the wildly incorrect time and could not be set. The shower was a bit tight, but drained well and water pressure was good. The bed was also comfortable. On the good side, the bed was comfortable, the TV channels were OK including CNBC & BBC, and the restaurant food was good.

I have been staying here for many years and it never disappoints. They are very good about getting you in a room when you get in early in the morning. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable The park is right across the street. Town is a short walk.

Very well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is good as are the other meals served. I happen to be on business in the area and booked this hotel as most BW have been upgraded over the past few years. This location is certainly one of the better ones so far!

I am back again and very happy. Was put in a room with new bathroom and this was such an improvement. Colleagues I travelled with still had the old rooms which was a shame but the refurbished rooms are very good. From where this hotel was to now deserves a top rating. Staff are on the whole very good too. So glad they have modernised. For me (after staying in most of the other options in Bad Nauheim) this is the best for the town.

Best thing about this hotel? They actually LISTEN to criticism! I stay here as my work HQ is walking distance. The rooms are being renewed and they now offer 3 types of pillow. The hotel itself is getting a slow makeover and the staff are excellent. Breakfast is very good and a great start to the day. It is not so central for Bad Nauheim but it is a good hotel and better than quite a few of the others on offer! Room to work, plenty of enough plug points. The bathrooms could do with updating. I score very good for location because it is for me I score average for the rooms, not as criticism but because they are getting better but are not the best I have ever stayed in.
