Nice hotel. Large room, comfy king bed, pillows good. Some road noice from highway, can be distracting for light sleeper... heavy-sleeper like my wife, not even bothered. Nice breakfast options hot and cold. Pool and hot tub operational.
The rooms had cracks in the tubs, the handles were broken. Lights didn't work. Toilet paper holder had no spring. Hair left in the tub. Can't take food to your room from breakfast. No complimentary items for higher lever status. TV kept freezing. Check in person seemed inconvenienced to check us in.
I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. About 20 min after we checked in, the desk clerk called our room to see if we needed anything. The room was clean, Both beds had protective covers on them, The mini fridge could easily hold two gallons of milk, A 6-pack of soda and had room to spare, There was extra coffee and cups, Blackout curtains, The room was quiet, despite being on the side next to the highway, There were clean towels for guests in the pool area, Both pool and hottub were working and clean! Our room had a full size ironing board & iron, I loved that all the linens were clean & that the washcloths were folded into fans (the extra little touches are nice) The A/C worked well, There was parking on both sides of the building, So no matter where your room was, you could see your car from your room. I also really appreciated that the room had a Gideons Bible in it, It's a comfort thing for me, so I really felt like I was at home. I would totally stay here again if the opportunity arose!
Very great staff and beautiful stay, breakfast was very good.… To catch I 25 was very straight thru nearby stores and mall 16 mins away… Love that they had shampoo body wash in the shower like ready and all… Would definitely stay again 🫶🏻 Thank you
It was pretty dingy. We just needed a place to sleep so it suited our purpose for the price. The hotel did have a musty smell. We were on the 1st floor and could hear every footstep from the room above us. The hotel definitely needs to be updated. The floor was like walking on plastic, very uneven like the floor was not put down on a solid base or pulled tight. The rooms are on the small side. The TV was tiny and a problem at first connecting to the Directv. The staff were friendly and they have an ATM in the lobby. It appeared they allowed pets too, but I did not see any grassy area for them.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating; the room was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.
The afternoon clerk one of the RUDEST people I've met, I've been to this motel 6+ times in the last year. NEVER had they mentioned s "deposit" of ,$179.00 , when I worked for BW, we did do "incidentals" on a card, for people the smoked or snuck pet in or damaged room, I have several more appointments in the coming months, may have to elsewhere
Location is good. Tv and lamp didn't work, location had no elevator Asdistant Manager, a male is rude, produced himself a the Gebetal Manager. 1st bight was a free night earned charged no deposit, 2nd night he asked for $150 deposit, he said it was to be charged for the 1st night also.
good hotel, great price. would stay again. continental breakfast provided what i needed. the A/C worked great. the Beds were very comfortable.
I was there for a business meeting with PNM, I was scheduled out on a Storm call sue to the tornadoes and bad weather rebuilding Powerlines. I called to cancel my room and get a refund and the front desk lady refused due to the booking saying no refund even after I explained the situation. I asked to speak with a manager and she advised he is in and out of the office and she wasn't sure when he would be there and advised she had authority to make the decision. I will Never stay at any of these establishments again. Very Unprofessional.
Basic room with all you need for a few nights stay. Comfortable. Professional staff. Helpful. Front seat called once we were in room to insure we were happy with it. That is the “extra “ mile.
Room was stained up, sheets and blankets where stained so bought new blankets to use. Bathroom so small and broken things . Fan in bathroom water didn't go down
Very good for the price, Usually stay at Best Western plus, Not the same but staff is great could not be better
We go to Albuquerque about every 10 days. This has become our go to place to stay. Always clean, quiet and very comfortable. Nice large rooms and good hot breakfast. Great front desk and managers. Love staying here. Just minutes from all the places we need to go.
This location is easy on and off for the interstate. It is centrally located and the parking lot is well lit. It is a little difficult to navigate the parking lot, but not too bad and the walk to the room is close no matter where you park.
This was my first day at a Best Western SureStay and basically it is a Motel-6 like the old-fashioned motor hotels. It is right on the highway and it is not have any nearby amenities such as restaurants or shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is sadly lacking – ours did not have juice, fruit, or yogurt. THEY WERE OUT OF COFFEE. Some staff members are highly attentive while others are not. Don't expect a lot, but you'll get your moneys worth at $58.
This is not a perfect motel by any means, but for the price paid it can't be beat. Decent rooms, decent breakfast, decent internet. I suggest a send floor room to alleviate noise from upstairs guests. (There is no elevator, however.)
No one at desk at 3:15 when we tried to check-in and when she did show up 10 minutes later there was no apology to any of the people waiting. Then we were informed that the rooms were not ready. We came back 2 hours later and again no one was at the desk so was ringing the bell for 15 minutes before she casually strolled down the stairs. Looked like she had been eating. No apology to anyone waiting in line. She didn't offer an apology in fact didn't say a word just gave me the keycard with a really dirty look. We felt unwelcome. Plus no elevator and rooms on ground level were all for pet owners we were told so why was there a dog barking and growling in the room next to ours on the second floor?? Will never stay at this location again
Homeless people let inside and staff allowed it. It stinks and it's dirty. It's not safe and the lock was broken. Stains on the floor and sheets. Cigarette burns in the curtains and cigarette smells. Horrible place
The stay was nice, the room was clean, and the service was great had a very nice time in the pool and heated pool as well. Overall it was a nice experience and a well deserved rest from the days worry.
Road noise:bad Commercial neighborhood:bad General condition of property: in dire need of refreshing. Not a great choice for a restful night's sleep. The overall quality of this location is significantly below our expectations of what we've experienced at their other properties
I didn't expect much for $84 a night including breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, comfortable and very very clean. The hotel is on the edge of an industrial area, so staying there on a weekend is very quiet and peaceful. Front desk personnel was very pleasant and helpful. The only drawback is that any decent restaurant is about 3 miles away.
Location feels a little more private and less foot traffic to vandalism, they has signs up to take out valuables and prevent theft (it's common in any city but the fact that they care to remind customers to be vigilant is the greatest). Overall, quality was nice, beds were comfy, room was clean, it's not a luxurious stay but it was nice, quiet and peaceful for a getaway. They have a pool, on-site laundry, complimentary breakfast, and easy access to Freeway… great for the price.
The pictures make this hotel look nicer than it is. Located in an industrial area. The hotel is run down, the rooms are small, the pool looked dirty. And the microwave almost caught on fire due to a faulty cord. The front desk attendants were OK, didn't really make me feel welcome, but did do their job in checking me in. Only positive was the breakfast. We left as soon as possible.
I have anyways enjoyed my stays with Best Western. The hotel they found me was worse then a motel 6. No elevator. Horrible and scary location and you feel like you are about to get mugged in the parking lot. Front desk staff didn't even know the phone number to BW customer service.
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, price was a really great price. Location was easy to find. Considering right off the highway not a lot of traffic noise. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Breakfast was pretty good. Only downfall was the eating area is really small and the coffee machine in room didn't work.
This was the first time that I have stayed at this particular property and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was as well as how easy and close the parking was to the rooms. I would stay here again.
Woke up to bed bug bites. Looked under the bed skirt and found one crawling. Should have looked earlier. Was woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of someone trying to get in my room. Turns out that the desk attendant tried to check someone else into our room. She had moved us from an earlier room because when we tried to open the curtains, the entire curtain rod fell from the ceiling. That was my first and last stay at a SureStay property. I lost a lot of respect for the Best Western brand. I appreciate the ease that a refund was issued when I spoke to the morning desk attendant.
We were so happy with our stay. We will most definitely be back great food for breakfast and I loved the 2 king beds. Pet friendly and all the staff was wonderful. We had such a fun time at the pool also.
We are from the UK and were travelling route 66, the hotel was convenient for us, the room was adequate and clean and the indoor pool was open during our visit. Only thing is, that there isn't much else around the hotel.
Lady at front desk was very nice, just wish she had not kicked us out of pool room so quickly. We arrived late and only got a few minutes in a very cloudy hot tub before we were told pool room was closed around 9PM. Pool hours could be extended. 9PM is a little early. Need more seating at breakfast and maybe a few more items.
Pool and hot tub are very dirty! Rooms should be kept up daily! Trash should be taken out daily! I went to complain about my room and the front desk only said I can give you towels and trash bags! Never apologized or anything. I would have understood a little more with an apology even. The location was not what I expected. Pictures from internet are not what you will be seeing if you stay! Pay a little extra and stay elsewhere.
A lack of building and appliance maintenance and a lack of concern and ability to have problems rectified certainly tainted my visit. Isolated location requires transportation. Very helpfull and VERY unhelpfull staff.
Stayed here with a friend and my Son, was only going to stay one night after some hiking at a trail outside of town, ended up staying a second night even though we had already checked out and had other hotel options. For the price, the rooms exceed expectations, my only complaint would be that the rooms we had faced East, so we got the morning Sun as a wakeup call.
#1- The hallway carpet is filthy and disgusting. #2- when you're walking to your room, you can hear every conversation that all the other people are having in their rooms and it is pretty loud as we could hear a baby crying from the front desk while checking in. I heard some lady loudly moaning (ahem.. if you know what I mean), while I was walking down the hall to take these pics. #3- They charge you a mandatory $150 cash deposit on check in and will walk through your room the next day to make sure nothing is damaged then return the $ next day. However I have never been anywhere that did that. #4- there is a crack hotel across the street, with raggedy looking people hanging around outside, which makes it dangerous to leave your belongings in your vehicle. Positive- the room was actually clean- which was extremely surprising after walking through the filthy hallway to get to it. I was prepared to walk out and lose my $ at this point if the room was not at least clean. The flooring and bedroom furniture are new which was also very surprising. We stayed to see the room #1- because it was non refundable and was $97 for the night so reasonable for a hotel price. But I would not stay here again.
Adequate accommodations. Maid service is excellent. Breakfast so so. It's unfortunate if you get the rooms on ground floor of the permanent residents above, noise & pounding 24/7. Mgmt doesn't return DEPOSITS & They make Unauthorized deductions from your bank account, then PATEL says "never happened," and hangs up on the phone. What a way to run a business. See you in court. Unless you acknowledge your error.
You get exactly what you pay for. Carpet is worn out, doors and walls appear abused some locking mechanisms on the inner door appeared kicked in a one point. Room was well put together however, soaps and sheets appeared clean. The hotel overall doesn't inspire the quality feeling
Very impressed with the staff and the way their customer support during this stay. They were understanding and willing to work with me the entire time. The rooms were clean and bed was comfy. Sure recommend staying here.
It was a very horrible frustrating experience very rude staff and very unclean bed bugs roaches dirty rooms odor in the rooms no management on site no heat moved to several different rooms at 11 at night
We brought our pet with us and had a great stay at this hotel. The hardwood floor was dirty in our pet-specific room, but we loved everything else, including the breakfast. Great value for what we paid.
The room was clean and updated. The kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. The location made it easy to get around Albuquerque. This is a great place to stay that covers the necessities while on a budget. The staff were friendly and polite.
I was pleased with the service given by the staff. Accommodations were satisfying, the hotel was near to the locations that I needed to attend. Breakfast was good and well prepared. The pool was treated daily and kept up, grounds were clean.
The rooms are very basic but very nice. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is decent for being a standard Sure Stay. Easy on/off the freeway. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Will stay again next time in Albuquerque.
We had a great stay at this hotel. Staff was so nice. They helped us when we came in very late because of a flat tire. They also were helpful when we were having other car problems. Super nice staff all of them.
We rented a suite with a sofa bed to accommodate our party of 4. At bed time we realized the sofa couldn't be used as it smelled like fresh vomit. It was horrendous! It completely ruined our much needed sleep. We also realized after walking around either barefoot or in white socks that the floor was leaving everything black. I asked to borrow a mop since i was told cleaning services were short staffed but was told it wasn't an option.
Floor was filthy, carpet in hallway ragged and worn out, and the hotel stinks. The ac in the room managed to get the air to tepid. No couch or sitting chair to relax in. Just an uncomfortable computer chair or the bed. Lamps in the room were all leaning, looking like they were being held up by the walls. This place does not deserve to have the Best Western name. Makes me hesitant to stay at other Best Western hotels. Can 100% recommend staying somewhere else.
Horrid conditions of the room i received. Broken parts, dirty carpet/ sheets. Card scanner was half broken. Couldn't get in for over 10 min. Not worth it. Seemed sketchy and not maintained. Rather stay at the Main Brand.
The staffs are friendly and did best to help. The breakfast amenities do require big leap of improvement in tidyness and quality. The location entrance is so close to the turn from the Pan American Rd. The room definitely need new beds. However , as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
From the POS system that can't ring up multiple standard room charges in one transaction to the tv that hardly works to the key cards that never work and the dirtiness of the rooms where you find dirty drawers with former guests' trash to the pretend full box of Kleenex this place is a rip off!
Really enjoyed the comfort of the beds. Room was above average size, internet was great and the staff was very helpful. I really enjoyed the price and the Best Western reward points. I will stay here and swim the next time through this area.
Towels in our room were very worn out. But the pool had towels coming in every little while. Staff was great. Son loved the pool. Hot tub wasn't as clean as could be but overall very relaxing.can't wait to come back
room was large with vinyl tile floors which I appreciate. The layout of the room regarding the bathroom being right as you come into the room was weird and not very private if you don't have the door to the bathroom shut because of steam buildup or whatever.
This hotel is right off of Interstate with easy access. It has all the normal hotel room setups and provisions. They provide a full hot breakfast. The manager is very helpful to get you settled. He is on the property most of the time to insure you have a great visit. The rooms are clean and adequate.
not too great, no bath towels. tv doesn't work, room was dirty. I wouldn't recommend at all. It was over $100 plus pet fee, so not exactly bargain basement, but too dirty, slip and slide in the bathtub. We were not provided bath towels. No phone in the room to ask the office for help
For the price this motel sorely lacking. Floors dirty, bedskirts soiled. Carpets in hallway were disgusting. The tiredness of building, towels etc is one thing. But cleanliness really was awful. Normally Best Western has a higher standard. Motel 6 offers more at a better price.
Bathroom fan didn't work. Tv didn't work. Pool and hot tub were not very clean. The area seems to have a lot of homeless and my car was broken into with a few items stolen. I would not stay here again and wouldn't recommend a stay more than a night or two.
I did not stay in this property so can't comment on the cleanliness and other items. What I can share is the check in experience. The end result was I did not check in and left the hotel because of lack of respect of customer's privacy, inconsistency of their decision making, which broke trust. The check in staff, Lesley, followed the rules rigidly. The manager, Krupa, agreed to let me check in with just the phone number provided after hearing my explanations. Then, Lesley asked me to fill out a form with Driver's License, Make and model, and license plate # of the car. I felt uncomfortable to provide DL number and license plate # - it's parked outside, and the hotel already has my phone number, and they know my room number, they can contact me. They said in case someone hits my car or got towed. They said it's required by law. I asked Lesley to provide proof for where it says by law that's required. Nilesh got a bit upset and asked me to leave and did not allow me to check in. I told him I could leave but please provide the full refund. He said I booked through Expedia so have Expedia call him tomorrow morning. I left. I would not recommend this hotel because they don't seem to care about customer's voice, insisting on enforcing their rules, and broken agreement.
The service and the attitude of the clerk's was in order, putting blame on someone else and Act of Nature. Next clerk, was talk to someone who may care.In discussing the issues with the day time clerk was frustrated and a waste of time. Very not caring and a very arrogant individual.
I stay at this establishment roughly 144 nights a year and I have NEVER had a single issue with anything at this hotel. The staff goes above and beyond in all they can. The whole property is always clean as well as the rooms. I have not had a single complaint in my past 5 years staying here and it obviously shows because I continue to only book this surestay.
Old and not well kept. Rooms aren't clean and beds are uncomfortable. The entire hotel is getting run down and not being maintained. We couldnt even use the dead bolt n the door. Not a good value at any price.
Dusty & dirty. Ants all over windowsill. No chairs to sit at only desk and desk chair. No lampshade & microwave turntable wrong type and tipped cup. No cold water at sink; tub faucet spun around & didn't stop. Breakfast horrible. Hot tub water was brown! Staff unfriendly
Overall, the place is clean, the staff is very welcoming, and there is adequate but tight parking. If you are towing a trailer it there parking lot is not well suited for that. It is in a basically industrial area and there are no food places right there by the hotel. Dog walking is basically a small rock area (no grass). Doggie bags and disposal are right there but it is obvious many guests are to lazy to pick up after their pets…but that's not the hotels fault. Pet Fee is extremely reasonable. For just an overnight stay this place is reasonably priced and while dated is clean and convenient to interstate.
We arrived about 10 PM not interested in changing rooms at that point. The TV did not work. We got a new remote with no difference. The sink barely drained and the hot and cold water were plumbed backwards. The bed thankfully was good. The room heater actually worked well. Next morning the coffee pot had a missing part that held the coffee. Just beware if you stay here.
Do not stay here. Extremely dirty, not maintained, issues with pluming and electricity. Witnessed staff smoking marijuana on the premises. We had to move rooms twice and almost a third time before it was time to leave. Worst ever!
Hotel is pretty run down in not a good area. Family didn't want to stay again so we canceled our 2nd day trip. Pool and hot tub were bad with no towels and floors in the halls were really dirty. Staff was really great and made the stay bearable.
Service was horrible. Neighborhood did not feel safe. Our car was broken into and the hotel manager couldn't even be bothered to help us find some card board and tape to cover the window. Just said they are not liable.
We had driven through a terrible white-out storm for about an hour and we exhausted our last night before arriving in Phoenix. When we got to the hotel we were told the power was out and they could not give us our rooms until it returned on as the computer etc were down. After a long wait in the lobby, we asked if they could possibly let us into the room we had pre-booked. Advised had to call the manager who was on vacation as the girl on the desk had just started 3 weeks ago. We had made the reservation through Booking.com and were told it could not be changed to just any room as it was not booked with the hotel directly. Eventually, we were taken to a room and allowed to settle in. The room had 2 queen size beds and was semi-clean. When we checked out in the am we were told we had to pay cash as the machines were still out for charging the room. It seemed like it was one disaster after another and really left us with a bad taste in our mouths. The hot breakfast in the morning was about the best thing about it.
Customer Service was wonderful and by far better than any other places that I have been too. Helpful and kind from the very start. Not like other places where the people were rude n disrespectful. This place was the most welcoming place ever.
passing through for 1 night. the room was clean and the bed was lovely. the front desk lady was very kind and pleasant. the hotel was quiet and after a long travel day that was so nice!. Breakfast was actually really good! we had to fiddle with the tub faucet a bit to get the water up to the shower head but it had great pressure when we did. The hot tub in the pool room could use a good new filter... But over all our stay was great and will stay there again in our passing.
We were moving from Idaho to Texas, towing a boat and a travel trailer with two vehicles when one vehicle wouldn't start. We dealt with mechanics and decided we needed to plan to stay the night in a hotel for a fresh shower. We have 3 small dogs. Management made arrangements for us to park our trailer while we dealt with the dealership on the auto problem. Breakfast was quite nice, with hot eggs, meat, hash browns and waffles as well as cold cereal, fruit and yogurt. The rooms were clean, plenty of hot water for showers, and there was plenty of areas for the dogs to do their business. I can't say enough positive things about management. They really were graciously accommodating on such short notice. This was such a pleasant reprieve from the stress of having major mechanical repairs being done over the Thanksgiving holiday while trying to move across the country. The only negative was the location, and it seemed to be a big problem all over Albuquerque. Druggies and homeless people across the street loitered in the shadows of the hotel next door and on that particular intersection. One lady walked right in front of me as I was turning off the interstate. Thank God she turned around because I couldn't have stopped fast enough without hitting her. This is no reflection on the hotel itself, as they kept the parking lot clear of all that drama. We felt safe, people, property and dogs too.
The room was comfortable with a big screen TV. The breakfast had many options including scrambled egg, hash browns, sausage, make your own waffles, yogurt, fruit, and rolls. The entire staff was friendly and the price was great.
Price was excessive for the amenities, size, condition and location. Expected much more for the $200 paid and found much nicer options for half that price during 5-day road trip. Cancellation policy not as liberal as most and spent a week trying to cancel second night stay. Phone was not answered, on hold for 25 minutes then hang-up. Will have to reconsider before booking Best Western for future trips.
the room was very clean had wood like tile floor perfect for my visit with 2 small dogs. The parking lot was well light and the doggie area was clean and no messes. The front counter check in young lady was very kind even gave me an excellent restaurant nearby that was dog friendly
Overall customer service of this hotel with excellent quality of the outside of the building the door handle was broken to the door that was closest to my room so I had to go out of the way to get into the building to get into my room while it was 45 degrees outside and raining then just to get to my room and my room looks terrible the overall cleanliness was very poor there was burn marks on the lampshades there was a piece of metal poking out from the bedframe that I actually hit my shin on going to the bathroom it's missing the fan and it's just a hole in the ceiling next to the white shower curtains we're on the verge of falling out the wall. I was very unhappy with this overall stay.
Sometimes this hotel felt like a Comfort Suites and sometimes it felt like an Econo Lodge (we usually stay at the Choice Hotel brands). The facility itself is beautiful in places and extremely ugly in others. The bathroom is tiny but the room was comfortable with a nice fridge and good freezer. The indoor pool and spa was excellent, but the breakfast was minimal.
The room rate was quite a bit less than other hotels in the area. Location very convenient, right off of I25 and Candelaria. Room was clean and spacious, with microwave and refrigerator. Free continental breakfast. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again!
the guy checking in was on the phone for a while & finally attended to me. Rushed my checkin & dismissed me fast. The lady at front desk on 9/25/21 at ~11:30 am when we checked out was extremely unprofessional. Instead of apologizing on behalf of housekeeper who barged in our room without knocking & before checkout time, she was playing detective & blaming me. I hung up the phone on her.
We were given a room were both doors had just been painted. They were still sticky. Told there was nothing else available. Woke up with a BAD headache from the fumes. Housekeeping missed our room 3 of the 4 days we were there. We were also overcharged. The motel is under the freeway with nothing around but warehouses. Tweakers greet you out side with their hands outstretched.
The hotel is right off I25, so easy access, and it's not far from reasonably priced fuel and food. Reasonable rates, nice clean rooms, and very friendly staff. I'll definitely be staying here, if I come through Albuquerque again. Two thumbs up!
I got to the property late, but was greeted with a smile. Check-in was a breeze. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Every step of the way I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the entire staff was. I will definitely make this my go-to hotel in ABQ.
at check in they authorized my card for $50 when u checked out i expected that money to be released to my account. ITS BEEN A WEEK, they haven't released that money to my bank and they don't answer their phone ever.
Avoid this place!!! Rooms are dirty. Stains on duvet covers and bedding. First room we were put in had a broken TV and human hair all over the bathroom floor and bathtub. We complained and the person at the desj eventually got us a new room. This room had stains on bedding and cigarette burns on the bedding. The air conditioner did not work either. Tge hallways had dirty walls and there was an odor of bodyodor/cigarettes in the hallways. Carpets in the hallway were also very dirty and probably haven't been vacuumed in weeks. Person at the front desk tried to offer us a 3rd room and we said that they second room was even worse than the first room. No thank you Avoid thi splace at all cost!! When we asked for a refund we were told no. Do not give these people your money!! This location is also in a seedy part of town. Homeless people and trash outside the hotel. This place is standard for a third world country. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!
Thanks for the hospitality the man in night Audit was rude could not hold a conversation needed bottom floor I'm disabled unable to climb stairs my father in law is 92 and is also unable to climb stairs asked if. There was bottom floor he said no because the rooms were already placed I asked if they were occupied he said no but they have reservations but he was unable to move me
This hotel now provides a hot breakfast. This has been shut off for over a year. The hotel has easy access for I25 and is just off the interstate. The staff is friendly and willing to help in case of any problem. This Sure Stay is a nice addition to the Best Western family. They have an indoor pool and jaz for your pleasuire. A great place to stay.
it was very comfortable clean and quiet was very restful had a great breakfast good tv programming great air conditioning friendly staff good front desk service room nice and comfortable very clean housekeepers very helpful
We weren't sure what town we would end up in on our road trip, but ended the day in Albuquerque. We saw this SureStay Hotel by Best Western was near the freeway and easy access for the next day of our journey. When we entered the hotel, we were greeted very kindly and all our questions were answered. We had a very nice, large room on the first floor. The price was also right. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning, hot breakfast was available along with many cold options. Great choice and comfort for not booking ahead. So happy to have been able to rest and refresh here.
This hotel is a great hotel for the price. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean and roomy, the breakfast has many choices all you can eat, I have always felt safe at night, very quiet, nice indoor pool, I have never stayed in a hotel that takes such good care of the people staying there. They go the extra mile to make sure you're stay is comfortable.
Very nice place to stay very clean and all the staff is very friendly and amazing rooms are very clean and comfortable I love that they have refrigerator and microwave high recommended staying here very nice and clean pool
This place has improved from the last time I stayed here. Our room was clean and the house keeping service is very friendly. My only problem is that its not handicap accessible. So we were unable to get a room on the second floor due to no elevator.
Stayed just one night and wanted a reasonable price for the room. Price was great. Location good. Restaurants in the area and gas/stores. Under construction so improvements being made. Room was very clean and comfortable with obvious updates to area. Bathroom area updated. Exterior areas a little rough but interior was clean. Shower hot and beds comfortable
The hotel seems to be old and unmaintained. The hallway carpet was disgusting, smelled of smoke and urine. That smell leaked into my room. The bedspread had burn holes, the sofa had a stain that looked like some sort of bodily fluid. For the price I would not recommend staying; it felt like a pay by the hour motel.
This was our first time staying at this hotel. We selected it based on location to the freeway and price. Plus, the other hotels we usually stay at in the area said no rooms were available. If given a choice, we would not stay here again. The price was not that much better than other options. The location to the freeway was nice. Location to other things, like food, was average. The check-in process was slow and we were not recognized as reward members. The parking lot was very small, almost a one way only. Parking spaces were so tiny that our rental Explorer was parked dead center in a space and the wheels were still touching the lines on either side. Because of this, all the large vehicles were taking up two, and sometimes three spaces by parking diagonally in order to allow for flow of traffic. The carpet in the hall was obviously worn and had stains. On our floor there were old A/C units piled in the hallway. Our room was tiny and poorly designed. The front door opened with a view of the toilet. The toilet and tub were basically the same, they were so close. You could not really step out of the tub without stepping into the toilet. The bathroom was so small that you had to stand up and move to reach the toilet paper. When standing up front the toilet you hit your head on the door and doorknob. Hardly any closet space. The laminate floors were so dirty they turned our socks and feet black. They may have been swept though obviously not mopped or cleaned recently. Other than that, the room appeared to have clean bedding. It was also very noisy. Not that the hotel can completely control the noise. We had dogs yelping/crying until midnight. People talking loudly until after 1:00 a.m. And, car alarms going off sporadically all night and into the early morning. Since parking was so cramped and by the room windows, anyone outside smoking, talking, and car noises were very noticeable. Overall, the room suited our needs for a place to grab some sleep during a road trip. If you are looking for a lower priced option near the freeway, this may meet your needs. Otherwise, we know from experience there are better options in the area that are not much more expensive.
Filthy, clogged sink, dingy shower curtain, barely white towels, sticky floor, noisy parking lot, not managed well, people in and out. State one of three nights reserved. Asked for refund. Took almost a week to get it. Still waiting for first night refund. Will dispute with credit card company.
I needed a place to stay that accepted my sm. dog. I am a Best Wesrern premier user so thought this would be okay. WRONG..no security, side doors to bldg. were propped open when I left at 4AM. Hall carpet was Filthy!. Ground floor window was not secure. Lacked hot water for shower Shame on Best Western.
When I arrived, I was immediately told anyone over the age of 10 was going to be charged extra! And I had to put down a $100 deposit, which understandable. He also mentioned that they would have to inspect the room before getting our deposit back. I took that as a threat! Once we settled in our room, I immediately noticed a nasty odor. Toilet bowl was a rocking bowl, the tub squeaked everytime you moved. I was horrible!!! There was no control unit on the AC. So we had to manually unplug it.
Hotel is after total renovation- very nice looking rooms ,very clean. Is excellent Value of this hotel stay . Staff is very friendly and helpful. Front desk check-in and check-out very easy and fast. . Very comfortable beds and nice , soft sheets and comforters
I had a reservation here. I thought I had canceled it because I had an emergency in Arizona to attend. I thought maybe it would be a fee (understood) but no they took the whole bill of $417. Best recommendation don't come here if you want to risk losing your money. Funny thing was that I was going to try and reschedule this trip here. They can keep the money. I will take my business somewhere else. I travel quite often and I've never had this happen.
Rented room because it made sense to pay 54.00 due to absolutely no amenities. Price increased to 88.00 after 1st night. First room given television didn't work. Moved to a second room. Side door to enter doesn't always work have to use different doors farther away from room so pack light.
Front desk personnel very professional and helpful. when entering the hallway to our room, a very fresh and clean smell greeted us. the hallway carpet was a little worn, but clean. rooms had laminate floors and was very clean. the bed was comfortable, not too hard. area of hotel was fine, sort of business area and had several eating places about a mile and a half away along with some stores. A gas station with lower prices was just north of the hotel. Breakfast was a grab n go bag with an apple, oatmeal snack cake, breakfast bar and juice.
I wish we had read the reviews before booking this Hotel. We had a mix up in reservations and the management absolutely refused to provide a refund or even a credit for our room. We have always stayed at Best Western Hotels and have never had a bad stay or bad interaction with any of them. This place however is impossible to deal with. The management at the front desk talk down to you and talk over you. I literally had to raise my voice to get her to stop rambling so I could get a word in edgewise and everytime I started to talk to would raise her voice and talk over me. They offered no resolve to our reservations, basically telling us "too bad". Worst costumer service I've ever seen in Hotel Management. Will never stay at this location. We took it up the notch to corporate and was very disappointed that their hands were tied and they couldnt make the Sure Stay refund our money or even offer a credit. Which in the end we are grateful for because from the other reviews we've read, the rooms are disgusting and dirty.
Great place to stay for the money and it's newly remodeled with a upper echelon feel. The staff is polite amd out going to satisfy your needs. The room and hallways where spotless and very well maintained. I will recommend to friends.
Room is dirty, I am on the first floor with a broken window. The entry doors are not secure. No one mention that the pool and breakfast were not being offered at check in. Manager lied and said it was every surestay policy, but the one on Eubanks has their pool open! I tried to transfer but manager wouldn't let me. As a way to get back at me... this hotel is basically empty. I have been here for a week and the second floor has not been rented out. Well because I complained, they rent the room above me to a family. I have to work at 6 am and all I hear is stomping. There are plenty of rooms on the first floor open! I won't be staying at this chain of hotels again!
Older hotel but with heavy flooring and walls, kept the noise down. Place was full but we didn't hear much noise from TVs or neighbors. It's a working mans hotel not just skiers, service trucks and trailers in the parking lot.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. No breakfast due to COVID 19. The front desk staff was friendly, check in and check out were quick.Bed was soft and comfy so if you like a firm mattress this is not the hotel for you. Close to highway.
I was extremely disappointed with this facility . . . all aspects of it. Front desk: I was stereotyped . . . being a person of color, I got the impression that I was being talked down to. Only after the staff realized that I am a platinum card member did he change his tone. Points: just because I used my points, I got the impression that I got the worst room in the hotel. Room: it smelled . . . vinyl floors . . . broken window . . . noise - right beside a factory and the freeway. Security: non existent COVID safety: mask not being enforced Recommendation: stay away from this particular SureStay.
If you like constant, thunderous road noise, this is the place to be. Why are there feathers all over the indoor pool area. Do they keep a flock of carrier pigeons in there?? I guess you get what you pay for.
Room was dirty - stains and sticky spots all over the floor. Found a hair on the toilet seat. Bed was old...lumpy old. Hallway carpet was extremely dirty as well. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Do not book.
We were supporting a family member that had surgery done in town. The place was good to stay at to just be there for our family member white waiting for the outcome. Rooms were cleaned, some amenities were good others were not available.
I have been saying here off and on for years and it gets better and better every time I visit. I always get a warm welcome from Nilesh,Krupa and Danita. The rooms are remodeled and the beds are comfortable. Even durning this pandemic of covid 19 I still feel welcomed like family and feel safe knowing they are following all safety guidelines to keep themselves safe and their guest. The rates are affordable and it is worth it. This will always be my go to hotel, especially from the service I always receive.
Even during a remodel taking place it was quiet. We were close to pool and lots of inconsiderate loud people passed by the room but not hotels fault. Will for sure select another room location location next time. Stayed the night. Go enjoy the Rio and travel around while taking in the sites. It's super inexpensive!
Not only was the place dirty but after hours and hours of driving my boyfriend and I stopped there to get some sleep. We walked into our room and I opened the bathroom door and there were ROACHES!!!! What the hell hotel has roaches???? The front desk was unhelpful as well. Would give zero stars if I could!!!!! NEVER AGAIN
The bathroom was dirty with hair in the tub... showered in my shoes. windows were broken. the door frame was bent like it had been broken into! Several of the doors were this way. One window had a hole in it looked like a baseball had been thrown thru it. Most of the windows had cracks in them. Horrible hotel, horrible location.
toilet was broken, side door entrance didnt work. Maintenance came to room to try and fix toilet but couldnt do anything and didnt even offer us to get another room. The room in poor condition. Unhappy with our stay.
We actually stay here two times in just a few days. Our room was clean and had the amenities that we needed. Breakfast was small but they do offer a continental breakfast. We did not use the pool or other amenities. Staff was very pleasant and courteous. Next time we go through New Mexico we will stop again.
Just like all the previous surestay hotels we've stayed at, they seem to be older hotels that have been updated to meet best western standards. For the price, I think the breakfast, rooms, and the staff are great.
The front staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Very afforadable rate during my stay. The hotel is located about a 10 minute drive from downtown. Also has eateries within walking distance from the hotel.
Very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was decent, and fresh. The desk staff were very helpful, and pleasant. We were here to visit UNM with our son. We will be booking here again when we visit him at the University
Good and convenient for an economy hotel. Front desk agents were both very friendly and helpful. The room had been recently cleaned and the cleaning solution pine sol odor aggravated my asthma but that's not their fault. At least I knew it was clean. It is currently being updated and new fixtures being installed. If I had to make a suggestion I would say that there was no chairs to sit in other than one desk chair. No other furniture. I would imagine that is part of the renovation. Overall it was commensurate for the price.
Found a giant hairball first thing in the corner. Bathroom door did not shut unless you lifted the door. Exposed lighting in the bathroom. Not enough room to comfortably walk. It was unpleasant to be in the room more than just to sleep, super confined. There is a heated pool and spa, but the heated pool felt like it was only heated to 60f the pool was being worked on the last day of the trip so drilling started around 9am and I was not able to rest. Doors are paper thin with a large gap, could hear people at all hours. Bed was on a metal platform and popped every time you moved, was tilted at an angle as if matress needed to be replaced causing back issues. Breakfast was amazing though, a larger range than similar hotels I've stayed at..full breakfast not just hand fruits and pastries.
We stopped in after a long road trip just to spend the night. We were in a room that had been remodeled. The room had an odd smell but we were so tired that we just did our best to ignore it. The beds were comfortable, but didn't care for the pillows. The shower was not very stable and you chould feel the floor under your feet move and bend as you moved around. Best part was the staff. The lady who checked us in was super friendly. We would not stay here again.
The front staff helped change a mistake I made on my reservation and took into account I was traveling with a baby and dogs they made sure to put us on the 1st floor. And adjacent to the back near our car and to take our dogs out with ease.
At the end of a being awake for 24 hours, I arrived at this SureStay hotel. The customer service agent, Danita, was friendly and professional. The room was clean, secure and quiet. If I am ever back in this area. I will definitely return to this SureStay location.
The Sure Stay Hotel in Albuquerque is my new go to when passing through Albuquerque! First impression is the night staff - so friendly! We had bikes attached to the car which was recommended to bring into the room - it's Albuquerque - but they later called the room to ask if everything was alright and if we needed help with the bikes! The rooms are clean, newly remodeled and smell wonderful. The best night's sleep - comfortable beds and soft linens. They are pet friendly which my schnauzer appreciated. Only $10 fee per cat/dog. They have laminate floors which keeps things more sanitary - very clean floors. But this also made it a bit noisy, sounded like they were doing aerobic class above us. FYI - Ask for upper floor with odd numbered room if you are noise sensitive - even numbered rooms are on the freeway side. The owner was there at breakfast and was extremely gracious. We will definitely be back.
Newly decorated room. I asked for an upgrade to a king accesable room. The staff was great. Breakfast was ok, but the room was a bit noisey due to the people on the second floor. Really just annoying as they sounded like a pack of elephants. But overall good value for the money. Definitely would return.
Hotel refused to give me a refund for checking out a day early due to a family emergency. Woman stated that I needed a 48 hour cancellation notice and it would "mess with their commission ". She refused to give me a receipt as well.
Room was clean and bed was reasonable, that is the upside. Toilet didn't flush, sink didn't drain, tub dripped constzntly, towel rack and iron broke, room very noisy due to interstate proximity and clientele, breakfast was undercooked hash browns, corned beef or cereal. If we ever return to ABQ we will choose a better option.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. The maids did a great job cleaning the rooms. My only complaint would be the bathroom. It was functional, just weird, kinda hard to explain.
We have been coming here for two years, been through the rebranding and remodeling, very few if any issues, always welcomed as family. Have always been understanding if we had car trouble, always clean, quiet, staff are polite and respectful! We prefer coming here to other hotels. Breakfast is good for on-the-go, pool and hot tub water is always clear and is always the perfect temperature.
This hotel has been recently remodeled and now under the best western brand. Fantastic value if you stay on the first floor in the newer rooms. We also had excellent service from the hotel manager. We were using a best western gift card, they had only been under best western for a month so not all staff knew how to process the gift card. The manager fixed our bill after the fact since she was not there at the time we checked out. She personally called and also emailed me to assure me the bill was correct. Really great and polite customer service
Had an awful time here. The breakfast was awful... Moldy Fruit, No Milk, and No Coffee. Toilet in first room was leaking. in the second room there were stains on the ceiling. holes in the wall. Even found a bugs on the bed! obviously this place has no sense of room cleanliness. It honestly looked like a drug house. Moldy smells in hallway! Very UNCLEAN PLACE! DO NOT STAY HERE WITH YOUR FAMILY! AND WORST OF ALL. THEY DIDN'T HAVE A 20 DOLLAR CREDIT THAT I PAID FOR IN CASH FOR MY DOG FEE, ON THE BILL. THEY POCKETED THE CASH!! SUPER PETTY!!!!!
First and foremost the staff here is beyond amazing Krupa and Nilesh are just so kind and courteous and always welcome you with a smile. Upon arrival I did notice some renovations being done which is amazing considering what this hotel used to look like a train wreck Krupa And nilesh have completely turned this hotel into a hidden gem. The staff aside the up dated rooms are beautiful with wood floors and new vanity's I love this hotel! I highly recommend this place for anyone stopping by or that just want a get away.
Rodeway Inn is clean, comfortable and affordable. What puts it over the top for me is the friendliness of the staff, particularly the manager Krupa Patel. It's conveniently located, easy to hop on the highway to tour this eclectic city.
They where clean and like the free breakfast. All in all was a good experience and would do it again if asked. The employess could have been a little bit friendlier. They also had a nice swimming pook and jaccuzi
We paid $50 for two beds for a night, and everything was fine. Decent shower, pillows, mattress, etc. Wifi worked well. Its conveniently located off the highway, and the employees were very nice. The price was great for our stay.
Great stay 2 nights clean, swimming pool and hot tub were great clean. Would recommend to my friends and family. The location is perfect and well centralized and this is the kicker. The price was great
