I love the floors!! NO CARPET! The room was very clean and comfortable! I need to give a SHOUT OUT to Mr. Aaron R- at the front desk. My kids were in the pool and I could see lightening in the distance. The kids got out and I went in to ask if they thought it was safe because the kids were nervous! He went above and beyond and came outside to show them that it was safe and that he has an alarm that will alert him if it's within two miles of the hotel. He promised that he would personally come out and tell them if they needed to get out of the pool! ❤️ I was so appreciative of him going ABOVE and BEYOND for my family!
I am so impressed. I am so happy we did find your location. The staff have been fantastic. We rent between 2 and 4 rooms most of the time. The staff have been very easy to work with. * I have gone to the front desk for help on occasion and they are as nice as can be. They have helped me to the best of their ability. * I also want to commend Housekeeping. My men work from 10am to 10PM. Housekeeping goes out of their way to accommodate us and our time frame. They will do our rooms between our shift changes so that my crew are not woken up off watch just to have the room cleaned. When we are off for a down time the pool and the Garden around the pool are relaxing. My men enjoy being here and it truly is a relaxing place to be at. I do Highly recommend this place.
We have stayed multiple times when kids were in college. That's been a little while. We were very pleased to find the hotel as clean and lovely as always. Several upgrades were noted. The courtyard/pool area is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Front desk very responsive. Highly recommended.
A very nice stay. will visit again. the hotel has a very supporting staff. The amenities are excellent for the price. The shopping areas and food joints are at the walking distance. rooms are clean and the house keeping staff is very supportive.
I have been to this Best Western many times over the last several years. I enjoy this BW hotel because, even with its smallish size, the staff and management makes it feel like they care about every guest. The prices are very reasonable, the hotel is quite clean. The pool is well maintained and spacious, with great seating around the hotel in the shade. Excellent place!
We stayed here for a convention and my brothers and family were very pleased. Excellent staff. Excellent service. Excellent customer service. The pool was clean all the time. The property and rooms very cleaning too. Good Áreas for pets. I recommend this place 100 %. My family and I will return for sure.
I was first greeted by Ron. He was super professional and had great energy. He explained all about the hotel and what they offer. This location is a perfect location that is situated across the street to outlets, gas stations, and even a target. If renting a car it's easy and feee parking was definitely a perk. The facility had a decent pool, outdoor games and provides pool towels. If was close to all the great beaches on the east coast which includes Miami which was all in a hour or less drive. The breakfast was decent and the staff was extremely nice. Upon checkout we had Ralph who assisted us and made sure we had the best time. He accommodated us on a small issue we personally had (not hotel fault) and handled it professionally. Would definitely go back to this hotel!
Protest is located across from the Outlets and many restaurants. Target is within walking distance. Pool is great! Rooms are good but need some updating in the bathrooms.
Hospitality, very attentive and friendly services And the breakfast was very good and timely for my family The near area places and shopping is very convenient and the exit to I95 and Miami is very centric and help us meet our schedule and needs for this weekend The follow up and attention from the BW was very helpful specially because our flight was delayed because of the weather, and they were very understandable and on top of the situation to help us check in without worries and on the last-minute changes.
It was an amazing stay rooms were clean, beds soft, breakfast was very tasty, and the pool was warm. We booked two rooms one was downstairs in the other one was upstairs and the accommodations were amazing we were able to use a blow dryer when the one wasn't working I got their breakfast was the delicious everyday the staff was amazing the outside was always clean it was a great experience like always
What an oasis in the midst of the big city. So convenient to Kravis…Mounts…and the Zoo. The pool was the best I've seen in years…an actual deep (7') end and so clean…great lounge chairs. Hot eggs for breakfast! BJ's across the street for food and Target next door. I truly enjoyed my stay. I'll be back🤗
From the time we walked through the door to check in, our experience was incredible. Steven greeted us and was just as nice as could be throughout our stay. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious and the grounds are just lovely. We really appreciated all of the hard work your team is did to make our stay rememberable. Everyone working there was welcoming with a hello and a smile to greet you! Great Job to the GM. Your Best Western is definitely above the others that I have stayed.
We arrived at the hotel late at night after a long trip and we left the next morning so it was a short visit. The grounds are beautiful and spacious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has no elevator and our rooms were on the second floor. It was a pain to bring all of our luggage up just to take it all back the next day. The room was musty and very dated but it was ok for our needs. The rooms, especially the bathrooms could use a serious update. Free breakfast was adequate. Eating outside around the pool was a real treat!
Disgusting. Disgusting room, Disgusting bathroom. Disgusting food, no service. I wouldn't board the dog there. Can't imagine how it has good reviews. The site is making me write 200 characters, but all I can say is disgusting in every way.
This place was okay. Maybe a little dated and needs some renovations. The included breakfast is the standard hotel. There is a nice pool and there are shops and stuff around, which makes it easy. I don't feel that it was worth the high price that I paid.
The room was clean. The water was hot. The fridge, microwave, and air conditioner functioned properly. My 88 year old grandmother was very comfortable. We appreciated the drive to door concept on the lower floor. The room smelled nice and I didn't see a single bug (which can be a struggle for 2 star hotels in FL). Overall, an enjoyable and convenient 4 night stay. I will definitely use them again in the future.
Outstanding Hotel!!! The reception was outstanding and the professionalism was superb!!! The area around the hotel is safe. Very close to the trail rail for trips to south Florida beaches. Plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Thank you and will stay in the future.
I came down to attend a funeral. The stay was great and the people, Mr. Ron on the 6-3 week days and Mr. Steven on the weekends were amazing! Anything we need, I felt like they treated us like family (my mom, and three sisters and my brother-in-law). Thank you for a great stay!
I was on business. Returned back to room after long night of worked to be greeted by 2 alive roaches in the bathroom. Toilet refused to fill back up with water. Had to take the lid off and raise the float to get the tank to fill. Front desk could care less. Not even an apology was offered.
I really enjoyed my trip because Ms. Harrie was professional, efficient and helpful with our reservation. The food was great. It was fresh hot and good. I will visit again and tell all my friends to come too.
Good location close outlet mall freeway restaurant etc . Just had finished 5 cities 5 days was late dark needed place hotels.com picker here good choices, reasonable price , nice amenities though we did t have time use them
Guest room was clean, quiet and beds comfortable. We were impressed with the hot breakfasts and variety of food options. Beautiful, clean courtyard and large pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to downtown West Palm Beach and the Palm Beaches in general. Great value stay!
We recommend this hotel for its location service and very nice staff. They accommodated our requests and were very responsive to us. The word BEST should remain in their title. We've known the for years and they never disappoint .
The room was clean, the mattresses and pillows comfortable and the AC good. The staff were courteous and accommodating and the pool area lovely. The bathroom needs repairs to the tub/shower, walls, vanity and needs paint. It also desperately needs an exhaust fan. The outlet used for the AC unit was literally hanging out of the wall. When we arrived, there was a water emergency and it was off for three hours. I was disappointed that there were hot hard boiled eggs instead of scrambled. The other breakfast fare was what you would expect. We decided to leave a day early because Hurticane Idalia had passed and our area was safe. We expected to pay for the second night but were only charged for one night.
The overall stay was good, the staff were very pleasant. Awesome location, almost everything are in one location. My girlfriend and her daughter enjoyed themselves, especially the child, she was happy.
It was beyond expectations. I loved everything about it, the position, the aspect, the look, the layout, the staff, the service, the cleanliness… My sister stayed at a hotel, walking distance further down the road and when she came to visit me, she was like wow and she regretted the fact that she couldn't find any available room at the Best Western hotel.
Great customer service and ideal location. The accommodations were great for the money clean and comfortable. The room also included a microwave and refrigerator. I also appreciate being able to see my car from the parking lot. Overall it was a great experience.
We have stayed in this hotel now for the 3rd time. The rooms are basically all the same, with 2 queen beds, a little desk and a bathroom, but spacious enough for 2 adults and two little kids. The beds are pretty comfortable, but the bathroom could get pretty small when you deal with kids. I would rather see tile floors or some other flooring than carpet. Since it is South Florida it is always humide and sometimes the rooms smell since nothing ever drys out in the room. Bathing suits etc, you must dry outside....they never dry inside the room. Unfortunately the vent in the bathroom did not work, so it got even worse after taking showers. Even if the rooms got worked on in 2022 ( we were there when they started), the tub was not the greatest, since the finish came off. The Hotel is not a 4 * Hotel and therefor the breakfast ist not very big, but just enough to get the day started. The pool is one of our kids favourit and we always get a room on the ground floor and garden view. So they can run out the door and jump right in. You do not want to be in the parkinglot rooms, they are very noisy. Otherwise the location of the hotel works for us, since it is right at I 95 highway, the outlet Mall is across the street and a grocery store is 3 minutes walking distance. The staff at the hotel was always very nice, especially the breakfast ladies and the grounds keeper. He gave them flowers and the ladies at breakfast helped the girls whenever they needed help. But also the housekeeping staff was always very nice. The reception staff had a little hick up on the day of our check in, but they all turned out to be very helpful and friendly. My husband and I both worked in the hospitality business ourself for 25 years, so we know what good customer service is and how guests should be treated. Here is a quote from Mahatma Ghandi, 1890: "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider of our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us the opportuinty to do so! " That is what hotel and restaurant staff should live by! Thank you!
Wonderful, friendly staff. The bus service (for a reasonable fee) to shops and restaraunts in the area is convenient for people who prefer not to rent a vehicle (and it's also a lot cheaper than renting one). Already planning my next stay here!
I was headed south to Miami and looked at the hotel online and the pictures do not do it justice, this is a nice hotel and grounds. Lobby area is inviting, and all employees greet guests in a friendly manner. My room was very clean, all amenities in good working order. I had a nice view of the pool and courtyard area, this is a nice place to sit and relax under an umbrella.
This was a very nice and comfortable stay. I appreciated the staff at check-in who accommodated my early arrival (1 hour early). Travels from Indiana and Louisiana to celebrate my Grandmother was exciting! However, here were a couple ladies a front who were short with my daughter and grandson, which needless to say I didn't appreciate especially since they were asking simple questions. I would like to thank Ralph, his supervisor (whose name escapes me), and Brianna (sp) who went beyond to help me and my family. When your traveling to celebrate family you want to feel special and respected.
This hotel is in a great location close to PBI and I 95. The courtyard is beautiful with lots of plants, shade and seating around the pool. And the staff are very friendly and helpful- so welcoming and helpful after a trip across the country.
Very nice updated rooms The grounds are great with nice swimming pool and tiki bar on the weekend. All the Employees were a great help and friendly. Breakfast was nice selection of everything from cereal to sausage gravy
Cute, older facility. Multiple buildings surround the pool courtyard. Rooms in main building have internal entry doors; rooms in the other buildings have external entry doors (more like a motel). Beautiful lobby and pool area. The pet-friendly room was nice, clean and comfy. Breakfast was good. Very friendly staff. Great value & location.
A wonderful recenty renovated hotel located on the main streets with walking distance shops (outlets, Target, TJ Maxx, etc.)... Nice big and clean rooms, a parking lot and a wonderful garden with a pool. Totally recommend for a few nights stay - for business or leisure reasons. Staff - very un polite (with the exception of one young guy in the reception) - could use some training how to handle the guests
Amazing stay at BW Palm Beach Lakes! Staff was friendly and attentive. Arrived early am ~ staff came outside to notify us poolside when a room was available. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and well stocked. Will definitely book again when visiting Palm Beach!
This was my worst hotel stay experience ever. I have a service animal and I have no problems with any type of animal. First night I had 2 dogs next to me that wouldn't stop barking, 2 night roaches crawling in my bathroom ceiling and the 3 night a lady screaming in the parking lot in a car with a loud music and nothing was done. Don't stay here, for the price I paid, you can stay somewhere better!!
Prostitution...children riding bikes in the lot begging for money...NOT MY SORT OF PLACE...I thought it was a very bad JOKE...but it was real! The parking lot was scary especially if you were parking in back...God forbid you arrive late or have to leave in the darkness of night...very unsafe
I arrived at the hotel with 10 days worth of clothing for the run up to my daughter's wedding in Boynton Bch. Jean, a driver for the hotel, helped me carry all my stuff up the stairs, made sure I parked in the right area with a parking pass in the window, and helped me get situated. Did I mention it was 10.30 p.m.? It was late, and I'd been driving all day and needed help. The desk clerk was also very helpful. Wish I knew her name. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and breakfast is the real deal with hot items, protein and great coffee.
They put us in a very dated room in the last building. It was grungy and just outside were tons of cig butts and bird poop. The courtyard by the pool is beautiful so we walked the dogs there instead of near our room. I wonder if our room was crappy due to having dogs. We were on our way to Key West. On the return home we stayed at a pet friendly Marriott Courtyard in Stuart. Night and day. Same price and didn't require a $100 deposit due to dogs. Haven't stayed at a BW in a long time and never will unless they make up for our situation.
The hotel has all the niceties you would expect. It is a two story place, making for a more comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are quite clean (housekeeping cleans daily), firm bed mattress, a desk with chair and generally all you would need for a comfortable stay. They have a standardly nice continental breakfast. The prices seem to be lower than other high-end places in the area. Overall, quite pleased with my week's stay at BW Palm Beach Lakes!!
Check in time listed as any time after 3pm. Room wasn't ready until around 5pm. They didn't even offer an apology. Just an "it's not ready, come back later" like it's standard operating procedure. The room was pretty nice at first. We had the suite with a separate bedroom. We didn't hang out in the bedroom until bedtime, though, and that's when we noticed a problem with the AC in that room. The fan was broken and made an incredibly high-pitched whine when the compressor kicked on. But by the time we realized it, it was too late in the night to change rooms. We were so tired so we just dealt with it for the night by turning our white noise machine on full blast (which barely helped). The next morning (Thanksgiving day), we went to the front desk and asked for another room. The guy with the nametag Dr. Delightful was awesome and so kind and gave us another room. It didn't have a separate bedroom like the one we booked, but we were very thankful we could at least get some sleep with the quieter AC. Unfortunately, Best Western didn't offer anything for our troubles. Moving my family into another room on Thanksgiving day was quite an inconvenience. It robbed us of time we could have been spending with our family we were in town to see.
This hotel is an average hotel, A positive thing is they have the breakfast included. Hot breakfast and cereal . This hotel needs alot of TLC. Rooms need to be upgraded, the T.Vs are horrible they keep going in and out, Showers are extremely old. Location is good.
Everything was great, a clean hotel with friendly people and a good location which was close to everywhere. The breakfast was also nice with different varieties. I stayed for one night and I wish I could stay more, I recommend it strongly
The staff were friendly and I enjoyed being able to go swimming in a clean pool.work out in a clean fitness room with up to date equipment, use the laundry room , and the complimentary breakfast was ok I've had better at other locations, For the price I got my money's worth and more.
The staff is amazing and the place has all the amenities that are required. This hotel includes breakfast with various options. There is a huge dining space. The pool area is beautiful. Overall it was a nice experience.
Great stay! Super accommodating staff. When we needed to make some changes to our room and stay, they were extremely friendly and quick to help. It's a mid-grade quality hotel but the quality of the staff was extremely high quality.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights here. The pool area is awesome. It is very relaxing sitting out there. We have mixed feelings on the room. The king bed was very comfortable. The tv reception was awful. We couldn't get tv reception most of the time and when we did it was only a couple of channels. The few we did get, we would all a sudden lose the picture. The screen would all a sudden turn black and “NO SIGNAL” would come across the black screen. None of the local channels came in so we couldn't watch NFL Sunday games or local news. Not sure if they have dish or direct tv. Unsure if the reason is because our room was in the back of hotel or not. Maybe it would be ok if your room was on the poolside. They give you a TV guide but most of the channels don't come in. The free breakfast was ok. This morning they had bagels as one of the choices. Both were hard as a rock on one end. You couldn't even cut it. I wouldn't stay here again. The pool area was incredible thou.
My husband and I had to evacuate because of a hurricane and we didn't want to leave our fur baby. So we found something in South Florida because orlando hotels were booked. We usually go there with our fur baby because they waive pet fees for floridians because of an emergency situation. I've lived in Florida for 21 years and have evacuated 6 times and never have been charged a pet fee. This time I checked out and they charged me $50 and then taxed it on top of the fee. I contacted the manager(william murray) and he said too bad....pet fee remains. Wow no sympathy for what we just went through. I mean I understand a deposit could be implemented in case of damage but we left room in good condition. Also our room had no coffee maker and I had no hot water one night I had to take a shower. Very little water pressure. I won't be staying at another best western just simply the fact they could have made our stay a little less expensive. We returned to our place being flooded and he didn't even care. This business is all about making money and not helping people out. Very disappointing. Best Western you can do better !!!
I've stayed at this hotel many times, and always have a good experience. It is located very close to Palm Beach, but without the ridiculous prices. The rooms are dated but who cares, everything works, including the coffee maker, tv, fridge, microwave and internet. The breakfast is good and there is coffee all day. The courtyard and pool is where this hotel excels. The landscaping and atmosphere is wonderful. It's a little tropical paradise, with lots of seating areas and a very large pool, a tiki hut, bbq, beach towels, and even if you don't usually use a pool, I guarantee that you will want to sit outside. Everything is clean, pleasant, and at this price, what more could you want?
It was my guys birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a getaway. I booked the hotel and spoke with Tes the supervisor regarding my request and she made it happen. She decorated the room the way I wanted it. The room was clean and the property was awesome. Breakfast was good too. I will be booking with them again and I will also be selling this property. Thank you Tes
This was such a pretty property, complete with a poolside tiki bar, beautiful flowers in bloom everywhere, fountains, statues, & a beautiful little landscaped waterfall! There was an area to grill out & plenty of picnic tables & seating all around the courtyard & tiki area! The lobby is beautiful with a dramatic spiral staircase!
I travel a lot for my job and had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. The food at Tony Roma was awesome. The bartender Jolie was so much fun and made my dinner and drinks that night great!
First time in west palm beach and was not sure what to expect. Very happy with BW, nice, convenience to the college and downtown and beaches. Everything really. Nice rooms, pool, lobby. Breakfast was nice. Someone on site 24hrs. Not only at the desk, but walking the property. Will be staying again.
Place is super dirty. The girls feet were black from walking in the room just 2 seconds. The carpet is disgusting, almost looks black. The rooms smelled horrible, thank god I had Lysol to spray. The bathrooms were dirty. Would never stay here again.
I stayed for one night. Problem I had asked for first floor accommodations because I had a companion using a wheelchair. Also I noted I had a pet with me. When I arrived they seemed surprised I had a pet. The woman at the front desk asked where did you make your reservation? I answered at the Best Western website. She seemed very annoyed. Apparently she needed to change my room to the pet section. When I drove to the rear of the hotel I noticed every room had a step up. Not very convenient when you have someone in a wheelchair. Since this was my first time staying at this hotel I hadn't been a where of this situation. Luckily my friend is light in weight and I was able to get her in the room by tipping the wheelchair. The room was adequate for one night but the grounds had lots of trash laying around. There was no trash cans in the rear. It was nice that doggie poop bags were provided but no can provided for disposal. Go figure.
Little disappointed in our stay this time, as we have stayed at this location many times and had been extremly satified with everything. But this time we found a but in the bathroom sink upon checking in and others later in the stay around the trash basket. I did mention to the staff at the front desk that they may want to spray.
The outside courtyard is so beautiful. It makes you feel like you are on a tropical island, and not in an urban setting. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. We definitely will return next year. If one can get passed the outdated aesthetics, it is a great value for the money.
The staff at counter was super dry and unprofessional, she was annoyed about every concerns that I had. The hotel it's supposed to pets allowed but she was uncomfortable, the fridge at room was damaged, my experience was bad and I don't recommend at all
WPB lakes BW has been there for 52 years, but is very pleasant. clean and well maintained, with beautiful grounds and impressive array of plantings.. Rooms ae in the process of being upgraded but it seems like a long-term project. Breakfasts are slightly above average, but room is very well maintained and what is available is tasty. Fresh fruit was in good supply. Good value..
It was the worst option for the trip, the smell of the carpet was horrible, to open the room was a nightmare, the opening device did not work correctly and there is no variety of hot breakfast prepared at the moment.
I chose the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes because of its proximity to I95 never expecting to find an oasis of beauty and fun. The property is an older hotel but it has been extremely well maintained and updated. The lobby is beautiful, the breakfast is just what you expect but you have the option of sitting outside around the pool at umbrella tables. The pool and grounds are the jewel of the property with many tables, chairs and even a large chess set to play. It is relaxing, clean and from the happy families enjoying the pool, quite a bit of fun. The hotel is within walking distance of an upscale outlet mall with several good restaurants. No need to jump in the car for meals if you just want to spend the day around the pool. For me, the reason I will return is the professionalism, efficiency and friendliness of every person I came in contact with. From the front desk where my paperwork was handled smoothly and with a smile to the friendly woman who oversaw the breakfast room I had a little trouble with my key at first and someone came right over to help. The room is well decorated, spacious, clean and fresh. The internet worked very well and they provide a room service menu with many choices. Everything worked as it should, was spotless and comfortable. This find was truly a treasure! I will be back and stay longer.
Great location near to the beach and downtown, friendly and helpful staff, pool area and gardens were nice, breakfast could have been better but it was okay. I would return mainly due to the location.
The grounds and pool were very clean, the room not so much. The room smelled and had mildew or mold in shower and rust stains on curtains. The breakfast was good with several different choices of food. Plenty of shopping and eateries within walking distance.
We chose to stay at this Best Western because it was pet friendly. The hotel requires that you specifically book their "pet friendly" room when making your reservation. I will say that the room was clean and the interior courtyard with the pool looked inviting. The room itself was dumpy and in need of renovation. It was a sufficient place to sleep, but did not make you want to spend any additional time in the room. The inside of the bathroom door had chipped paint and the floor was not carpeted (I am guessing because it was the "dog friendly room".) The dog walk area was conveniently located just outside the first floor room, but was strewn with food debris, chicken bones etc., making it necessary to take great care that our dog did not eat any of the food garbage when we walked him. I can't speak as to the condition of their "regular" rooms, but with the $25 per night pet fee, our total bill including taxes and fees for a two night stay came to $514 and it definitely was not worth it. I would have expected to spend less than half of that amount for a room in this condition.
Stay away! Very nice hotel staff but rooms have bed bugs. Woke up in the morning with bite marks over my body. Confirmed were bed bugs. The location was not bad. Right next to the highway and near a gas station.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel from Feb 20 - Feb 27. The room and common areas were clean. The workers were very helpful. The location was close to restaurants, malls, museums, science centers, botanical garden and car dealerships. Most of all its just over an hour to Miami.
This is a hotel is well situated. It is located just two miles from the Palm Beach International Airport and it has the Factory Outlets just across the street. So it is very convenient if you only have two three days in Palm beach. The ambience of the hotel is good with an African theme at the pool side. The breakfast is served well in an pandemic era with a person doing the cooking and distribution of food. However the front desk workers are not very helpful in helping us to get taxi, changing rooms etc. Overall experience was a pleasant one.
Room was okay, nothing spectacular. The bathroom was not great, drain seemed to be clogged in the shower, the door was very flimsy, and really needed a good cleaning. The sink sprayed all over you if you turned it all the way on. The closet didn't have any hanging space or shelves, was just open space behind doors. Breakfast was sort of grab & go (COVID) The staff was very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking. The pool was okay, nice grassy area around the outside of the cement. Very comfortable and safe. Our room was pet friendly which was a huge plus.

Palm Beach can be very costly to visit, but for those not requiring a resort experience, the BW in Palm Beach Lakes offers a great value. It's an older facility but has been well-maintained, is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I'll be back next year.
The rooms were not. Hot water came and went, and the sink water screen was clogged with who knows what. It was fixed quickly, but the sink design made it spray all over you. The room had a smell, was out dated and not really clean. Oh and there was a shooting in the neighborhood behind the motel, so there's that.
I stay at Best Western hotels a lot. As a construction management field superintendent I'm away from home about 24 days of each month. The reason I like Best Western is that the quality and service is very consistent. It's not because they are 5 star elegant. If they were I wouldn't be able to budget them. But I know I can depend on them to be clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.
The whole room had a strong moldy/musty smell which couldn't be aired out. Mold around bath tub. Front desk staff didn't care, manager didn't respond. We checked out after the first night, the rest of the nights were still not refunded. Stay away.
Don't stay here even it's the only option. I should have slept in my truck. Hotel room cleanliness was sub par, no hot water, and most importantly the questionable guests loitering in the grounds make you feel unsafe.
Awesome place to stay. We were there for over a month and the employees were great. From the moment we arrived Ron, Angela, Ralph all of them at the front desk were always professional. The free breakfast was good along with those who served. The grounds were very well taken care of on a daily basis.
The rooms could use some updating however they were very clean. Beds super comfy. Across the street, literally, is an outlet and a plethora of stores. The location is ideal and super easy to find. The staff super cordial and professional.
Best Western Palm Beach Lakes offers professional and quality services. The entire staff made my stay relaxing, fun, and treated me like family. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Quality at its best. Thank you for making my stay a great one.
From the moment we stepped inside, we knew this was a quality hotel. The beautiful, massive lobby, and grand staircase were impressive. Our stay was very comfortable. The pool, patio, and well manicured gardens, complete with statuary, were peaceful & relaxing.
We stayed at 5 hotels on our recent trip to Florida. This was our least favorite, with 4 of the 5 being Best Western. The location of this hotel is great, but it is old and is kind of run down. Our room door seemed a little unsecure and the latch that swings over to act as an additional level of door security was broken, making it useless. It seemed there were folks living there and some shady people hanging around the property. There are plenty of places to eat close-by, there is a Target within a 2 minute walk and an outlet mall directly across the street. The staff are excellent and the breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed to pool area and it looked nice.
My freind and I visit WPB the last week of every July. While some hotels' rates had doubles, this hotel was super affordable. We were blown away by the entire staff, the friendly maids, super nice breakfast crew, and accommodating front desk staff...We will definitely be back. THe pool is huge and clean--we prefer this to the closeby Marriotts and Hiltons with hundreds of people (who aren't guests there) using their pools who aren't guests. This was clean and quiet...Can't brag enough about it!
During a June stay the breakfast staff Refused to serve me breakfast due to what they said was a "must wear a mask" policy. I was flexible and simply asked for the attendant to put some eggs and toast on a plate and hand it to me. NOPE: REFUSED SERVICE TWO Consecutive days. Ironically, maskless patrons all over the lobby, near the coffee machine adjacent to the small breakfast room and the state of FLORIDA lifted the mask wearing nonsense prior to my stay. A clear violation of my rights. Left hungry two days in a row. Rooms and service also very poor. Dirty rooms and the property needs a makeover. Stale smell in my room. Carpets soiled, and generally a dirty room. STAY AWAY from this place. If you had an issue there you will get more empathy and care if you bang your head against the wall. HORRIBLE PLACE with HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. I will go back to my 4 and 5 star haunts again, simple.
The dog-friendly room was more than satisfactory (tile floors, plenty of room to set up at least 2 crates if necessary without being in the way). Bedding & pillows comfortable, and dog-walking yard just outside my door, along with poop bags for those who have forgotten them. The yard was also clean, and the shrubs and large banyan tree kept it from looking like a dog potty area. TV and wi-fi worked well.
Refused to serve me breakfast due to what they said was a "must wear a mask" policy. I was flexible and simply asked for the attendant to put some eggs and toast on a plate and hand it to me. NOPE: REFUSED . Ironically, maskless patrons all over the lobby, near the coffee machine adjacent to the small breakfast room and the state of FLORIDA lifted the mask wearing nonsense prior to my stay. A clear violation of my rights. Left hungry two days in a row. The manager is a useless sap and vindictive. I complained to the corporate office and found out that this property and most BEST or should I say WORST Westerns are individually owned. It took 2 weeks for the miele mouth manager to call me and he thought it was a joke and was actually laughing on the phone. He took the so called company line on masks but Florida Law should over rule a lowly motel from mandating what I do as a free man in America. In the end this so called manager gave me a free night, which he can stick where the sun does not shine. Wont ever stay at this rat trap ever again. Here is the kicker, actually made a 3rd party reservation and this cracker jack manager unilaterally cancelled it un benounced to me until I arrived after a 10 hour car ride. Sleazy, slimy and sneaky. This turd did not even have the courtesy to call me and tell me what he was doing. The Palm beach area was sold out, some host he and Worst Western are. STAY AWAY from this place.
Great staff, convenient location, nearby restaurants. Older, clean and comfortable. Our room was not poolside and it was fairly noisy. Rates are in range of surrounding accommodations and okay for an evening stayover.
I chose this location specifically because of the great reviews I had read. My experience was different. The staff was nice enough, but not overly friendly or helpful in my interactions with them. You can tell that they have updated the lobby and other indoor areas, but the outside was still outdated and dirty. There was trash overflowing from every outdoor can I saw, as well as trash throughout the walkways, including in front of our room. The room was mostly clean, but the bathroom was very small and still needs refreshing. Our white shower curtain has stains and small holes. We actually checked out after one night and went to a different hotel down the street.
I enjoyed my stay location was perfect very friendly and pleasant staff. I know once things return to what we consider normal and open up more options it will be even better. Will be going back. My friend and I even hanged out because our flight was at a later time and the staff was very accommodating. I do thank the front staff for all their help. I was given recommendations for places I could visit. Short stay will go back for a longer vacation when things open back up more.
Older hotel but extremely well maintained. It has character and a gorgeous pool area. great staff, I stayed an extra day just to enjoy the pool and the Florida weather. Housekeeping was the best I have seen since COVID.
This hotel looks nice in the pictures. However, when you arrive to the main entrance it is appalling how old, poorly maintained and ugly this hotel is. The smell of mold in the rooms was overwhelming, people were smoking pot by the pool. Crack heads walking around after dark next to the gate. The pool is underwhelming compared to the photos. The front desk called my room at 12am screaming that we were “coming through the roof” and being too noisy. We were asleep and on the first floor. They threatened to call the police... we left that morning and stayed at the Hilton. I will never stay at a best western. Truly a terrible experience.
Very hard working and dedicated staff. Grounds and building kept immaculate every day. Rooms clean. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Very nice complimentary breakfast. Good location. Will definitely stay there again.
Checked in to the hotel and with in 45 min we heard shots multiple times. We tried to check out and get a refund. Ralph denied my request. Thanks to Ralph I will never stay at another best western again. The location is dangerous and full of unsavory people. The customer service is horrible. The picture below is the manager who refused to allow us to check out and be refunded.
The staff were friendly and accomodating, breakfast was very good and very early. Even when I had to leave at 5:30 AM, I was able to eat before leaving. My wife was also able to shop online and send the items to me at Best western, which they collected on my behalf and deliver to me when I return from my excursions.
We enjoyed our stay immensely! The room was clean and cooled when we checked in late evening on a Sunday. The staff was helpful and friendly. The daily breakfast had good choices with coffee available all day. My kiddo (grandson) and I couldn't have been happier about our choice. We will be back.
It was a very good trip, the hotel was very clean the staff is very friendly and nice people. We will be back soon we really loved it. waiting for the summer to be able to return the truth is they are super friendly in this hotel
My room looked like a basic room with mold that was painted over on the ceilings . Very ghetto environment.Loud music everywhere ! And people were just standing outside of their rooms like it was some club .
My wife and I walked to the front desk, where we met this well spoken and polite lady, who said, "We are fully booked, but I will see what we can do". This is a place where you can find peace that we all need when we are on vacation. They give you more than your money's worth. I bet you they are second to none in customer service. All the staff are great people, the house keeping, food servers, maintenance, and the great team of front desk workers. Please keep it up, I can't wait to be back there. We were happy with everything we got. Thank you.
Very great service very clean and breakfast was great staff very courteous and friendly, my kids enjoy the room and was very clean and smell good everything was good for me. They just to come up with better pricing or discount for members or loyal customers
Check in delayed Both noisy and scary Seemed like addict was next door night of 19th and when they cleaned it out was filthy Blanket in room was extremely uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep. My son in room 171had same problem. We were attending a wedding and were exhausted from lack of sleep and then had to drive 3 hours after check out which was at 9 am. Who has a check out at 9 am.
Positives: Very nice staff, the grounds are well kept as well as the lobby Negatives: mattresses are uncomfortable, The carpet needs to be replaced and has an odor to it, for the life of me I can't understand why anybody would use a carpet in a motel to begin with. They are impossible to sanitize, hard to clean, dont last long ,and hold bacteria and mold As a contractor there is no advantage in price between carpet and a high-quality vinyl. They also need blackout shades. Staying in one of the rooms facing the roadway the lights shine through the sides and bottom of the shade and the room does not get dark at night. This hotel has great potential but they need to invest some money.
Checked in last night. Excellent hotel with professional staff. Only beef is that none of the current COVID protocol is on the hotel web site. Specifically, hours for restaurants/pool. Menu for to go restaurant the Provisions is also not on line. Also, upgraded to a premium suite but there are no disposable cups in the bathroom or regular cocktail glasses at the bar set up.
Nice well price hotel. still offering full service including a HOT Breakfast. Nice pool area seems to be well maintained. Pool is round but as easy access for people. A Pool ide room on the first floor would be great for family. Surprise they are serving you a hot breakfast of eggs and such, They just dish it up for you. good service would go back
Rooms and lobby smell, rooms are outdated. The hotel looks nice as a structure front and pool area but the rooms and restrooms are very old that makes them look dirty(they are not dirty). Aside from the smell and very poorly maintain rooms all the employees are very nice.
What a great find! The room was spotless, the refrigerator was roomy and had a separate freezer, the microwave was efficient, the mattress was really comfortable, the a/c worked perfectly well, the internet handled two computers at the same time, and the hot water was hot. The halls and rooms are rather dingy and could use a fresh coat of paint, but if you have to travel during a pandemic, this is a good place to stay.
This year we made a decision to travel by car. It was hard for us to plan ahead of time where we would stay and always had to improvise, book a hotel only 2-3 hours before our arrival. It worked well for the most part of the trip down to Fort Lauderdale, but on the last leg from Chatanooga to Fort Lauderdale we had experienced to lengthy traffic jams, and once made a wrong turn which added almost 30 unnecessary miles to the distance. There was a problem with the internet access once we crossed the state line into Florida, which made it hard to book our stay online, where prices were actually very attractive. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, most of the hotels are empty and could be booked even on the day of arrival at a very good price. I thought that I might get a similar price even if I walk right in. To my surprise, it was not the case with BW Palm Beach Lakes Inn, as I was taken advantage of when was told that there are no cheap rates available, and was offered a room with a king bed for $120 for one night (~$140 after all the taxes). Technically it was not even one night stay as we arrived at the hotel after 1AM. On my comment that online prices were offered much lower, I was told to go and book a hotel online, being well aware of that there would be nothing available after midnight. Since it was my wife's birthday already, I did not want to come back to my car empty handed and booked the room. It was an ordinary room with a shabby door, outdated interior and smelly carpet, nothing to brag about.
I am in the process of moving so I decided to stay at the Best Western 1800 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, west Palm Beach. I first stayed at the Hilton across the street. The Hilton Gardens Inn place is beautiful the rooms are bigger and the microwave is in a place where you are able to reach. The bathroom can have multiple people in it at a time. The staff was nice and the manager was helpful. Go stay here it is cheaper than the Best Western and much more for your money. I decided to stay here only because I am disabled and I had a lot of laundry. we are living out of our car and staying at a hotel when I can to clean up and get a good night sleep. That story is a lot longer anyway I decided to stay at the Best western because I thought It would be easier to walk right into a room than carry everything up to a room. It was a bad decision. We were put in a room (186) we settled in and a little while later I went into the bathroom and there were roaches. I am not talking about the little tiny ones they were full on adult ones. I went to the manager the next morning and explained what happened. I was going to checkout but she said she would adjust my bill and switch me to another room. I should have left but the situation I was in I needed to finish out our stay. I was switched to another room we settled in and everything seemed to be fine. The last night if our stay I was at the store getting milk and my daughter called me and asked me if anyone had lost a tooth. I told no not recently then asked her why. She then proceeded to tell me she saw my two year old chewing on something. we all know that a two year old still puts everything into her mouth. So she called her over and removed it from her and what she took out of her mouth was someone's TOOTH. Gross!!! I went to talk to the manager whom they said would be here but she was off that day. I then spoke to the night auditor who knew of the situation with the roaches. I explained what happened. I truly believe they thought I planted the tooth to get a discount. Smh. Well I did not! I do not carry teeth around with me and I am not usually at a hotel. I asked her about the adjustment that was promised and she told me they took off $15 dollars. I told her I do not think it was enough. I walked in with a website showing me a $81 dollar rate they told me it was a $124 (me laughing) and by the end it was $97 I should have just gone to the Hilton they were $77 but I didn't. I am not happy with how they handled the situation nor are they welcoming. No one has a genuine smile nor do they make you feel like you really want to be here. The rooms here are outdated, musty and small. The bathroom is smaller than Harry Potters bedroom under the stairs and they put the microwave in a place where only your two year old toddler can reach and get into MISCHIEF and she did constantly. They are doing a grab n Go breakfast but you really can only call it a joke. The one downfall is the Hilton charges for you to eat breakfast. It has a beautiful bar and a restaurant there as well. I will be speaking to the General Manager Mr. William Murray about this but I am sure nothing will come of it. I will have to chalk it up as a waste of money, time and energy to be at the Best Western. Listen this might look like a better choice but it will not be. I am so disappointed in my stay.
Courteous staff...very clean...beautiful grounds! Great location in the middle of everything...I used the BBQ which they provided utensils for...played giant chess board and shuffle board...great photo opps...really dont have to leave the grounds if u don't want to.
Just exceptional. Our expectations were blown away by how nice the rooms were and the incredible huge heated pool ( bigger than many high end resort or hotel pools). But the staff and accommodations were above and beyond. Thank you to the staff including sales manager Rick, front desk employee Ralph and shuttle drivers Boyd, Stan and Alan. All were incredibly helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make our visit fantastic. Our rental car from enterprise did not work as we got locked out with the fob not working but the drivers all helped get us to our dining and activity places including helping drive us to the airport with the bad car issue. Even if we didn't get the drivers help with the rides, we were already so satisfied but I have never experienced this type of help and warmth from any other place I have ever stayed. I cannot emphasize the great appreciation I have for everyone who worked there.
Enjoyed my stay at Best Western. Always do! The bed was super comfortable, and the staff was excellent and very helpful. I'd like to mention Harrie, who went through the effort of helping me open a bottle of wine. She was great! Only downsides were the lack of options to choose from on TV, the rather “meh” pre-prepared breakfast, and the lack of social distancing enforced in the pool area. I mentioned this to the front desk upon departure. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would return to this location!
Not good because i had to babysit the housekeepers and make sure that they were going to clean my room. Also they failed to let me know about incentive fees which i didn't know about. Unsatisfactory Hotel
We really enjoyed the stay at this hotel! It is an older building, but well-kept. There were fun activities in the courtyard which we took advantage of. The hotel is 15 minutes from at least 5 golf courses.
This Best Western Inn surpassed all of our expectations. The entire property was extremely clean, beds comfortable, rooms were quiet. heated pool, laundry, outside BBQ, shuffle board, outside chess and extremely close to the airport, outlet shopping (across the street) and restaurants. There were tables, chairs and umbrellas placed strategically around the pool area. The gardens were immaculate. Staff were extremely pleasant, professional and helpful. We were accommodated easily when cruises were cancelled and we had to extend our stay. The free breakfast was on par with other hotels and inns. I would highly recommend this property in West Palm Beach.
Overall a good experience, property was cute in the courtyard and clean rooms. Beds could have more comfortable mattresses but pillows were great! Enjoyed the pool area for our big group. Most of the staff was polite and very nice.
Our stay in this lovely hotel was was wonderful with one exception. The guest room floors were filthy. When walking across the tile floors after showering our feet were black on the bottom. Clearly they are dusted or vacuumed when a thorough mopping is what they needed for sanitary reasons.
Best Western Palm Beach Lakes' location is a good as it gets. Easy on/off I-95 and within minutes to shopping, Outlets and restaurants. The hotel is in need of refurbishing, but most importantly it is clean and well cared for. The front desk, room attendants, and the breakfast staff were EXCEPTIONAL. Everyone had a hello and a smile, so important for guests on vacation. The pool and surrounding area were great, we had fun with the oversized chess board. Reported a problem with the refrigerator, and it was replaced immediately. Would certainly return and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you Best Western.
The hotel is super in every way. The location is perfect, just in opposite of the shops and restaurants. The service is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. Even a nightlight in the bathroom! The breakfast buffet is more than just a Continental breakfast. Super! The garden with its waterfall is well maintained and beautiful. This is the second time we've stayed here and will comeback soon.
The place is clean food is good and it's very consistent. Good place to stay for the conference y. We stay here three to four times a year. Happy to stay here again and again. Staff is nice and rooms are good
This BW is a bit older but have a new price $$$! Wow I personally think itS a bit overpriced. Rooms are remodeled but still old looking inside. Oh... and NO elevator if u have to huff your bag upstairs! Now the good stuff: the courtyard is beautiful and the grounds. The pool is nice and heated. We haven't had a chance to use it yet cause we r gone all day and too tired when we geT back. Lol! We went to the beaches .. not far. Mar a Largo is on the island... u can drive by. Very pretty ! The breakfast is good with meat. A nice variety. Comfy tables and chairs. Also u can eat outside. ThaTs nice. Shopping across the street as well.
This motel has some nice landscaping and a charming pool patio. But if you need back support, the beds won't work. Our bed was soft as a marshmallow, and the pillows were rock hard. Just the opposite of what we like to sleep comfortably in. We tossed and turned for the night and were exhausted by late afternoon the next day. So if a good night's sleep is important, and a soft bed won't get you to sleep comfortably, this place is not for you. We also lost hot water in the morning for about 5 minutes. It came back, but my shower was a lot less relaxing during this hiatus.
The property is very conveniently located right off of I-95 and within walking distance of restaurants and the shops at the outlet mall. More importantly, the property is very well maintained, beautifully landscaped and the look and feel of the hotel is far nicer than expected for a BW and the reasonable rates. The staff are very nice and helpful over my 5 night stay. I had a pool facing room which I would recommend to keep the noise level lower.
Had a two night stay here and although the surrounding area is chaotic, the interior pool/courtyard area was lovely. I recommend getting a room facing in to the pool. Walking proximity to Whole Foods, Target, and restaurants was a big plus.
I had itinerary problems not once, but twice. Both times the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. They were very personable and easy to communicate with. The location was wonderful and had easy access to anywhere I wanted to go. No doubt this staff saved my trip, thank you.
Close to 95 and outlet mall. Plenty of nearby food choices. Very noisy. Dogs barking, car alarms, front desk doesn't answer phone to address concerns. No elevator and the handicapped ramp blocked by a parking spot. I wouldn't call this the “best” western. If you don't mind rooms that need to be updated (peeling paint, rusty appliances) and need to save money, this location is for you.
Right on Palm Lakes Blvd across from Outlets. Still decorated tastefully for holidays. Location easy to get to from airport. Close to I95 entrance. We stayed in street facing room. Room dated and could hear the street traffic. Target right next door. Staff was friendly - breakfast average. Many of the guests raved about the raisin bread offered; juice machine watery. Three staff members serving the breakfast area sat and stared at you inbetween their work. Courtyard was attractive with yard games, fountains and a pool. You could eat breakfast or hang out later in the evening, plenty of tables. Many restaurants options just a drive down Palm Lakes Blvd and at outlets along with a Whole Foods. This was my first time in area and met our needs, could be a good choice if you are seeking a convenient hotel for the area without high end touches.
Super place to stay! We came down for a family vacation with our family dog. I am very picky and this place exceeded my expectations. Newly renovated "old school" motel was awesome. Never stayed at a place like that. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Especially Ralph at the front desk. The courtyard which included a nice pool, gazebo, shuffle board and grill made the stay extra special and fun. Would definitely stay there again. We stayed 6 nights and wanted to stay more. No complaints it was a very positive experience.
The location is great and they are pet friendly. The room is starting to show it age, but is is clean. The breakfast has a good variety. The grounds are well maintained and very pleasing. It is like n oasis in the middle of concrete and asphalt.
Phillip Gunsby the best houseman ever so nice in helping. Housekeeper very friendly. Clean hotel. Front desk super nice. Food is great. WiFi good. Nice size rooms. Clean area around pool clean pool will definitely come back again
Hair dryer ..all other bathroom amenities..nice comfy beds The location was opposite the very popular Palm Beach Outlets shopping paradise.Target Store is the neighbors which has a Starbucks and pizza cafe. Many more food ,bank, gas along the Okeechobee Blvd.
The entire staff is bringing the location to it's BEST !!! The girls and guys make that place ...no more , no less ! It's a lovely family oriented Hotel ! The building doesn't make the warmth of it...the people do ! We will be stuck to that special Place....we'll be back for two weeks in April..THANK YOU
Very nice hotel and nice staff, swimming pool and gym, very convenient location, restaurants, wholefoods, impressive palm beach outlets , starbucks all are just across the street, many outdoor activities like science museum, zoo, palm beaches and other activities are in about 15-25 minutes drive, there is a cityplace downtown interesting place to walk around. We enjoyed the BW Hotel, it is reasonably priced and offers so much, also, has shuttle, can take you to many places, which is also convenient when coming from airport or going to airport, just have to make one time payment, we did not even rent a car during our stay. Found it a good fit for family, kids loved swimming pool, chess and breakfast. Also if anyone likes to make a trip to Miami there is brightline train can take you there in about an hour. After our stay in palm beach we went to another state and booked BW again.
Hotel was clean had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was perfectly located close to all kinds local "attractions" within a very short distance, we were able to uber around very easily not having to worry about driving or a large cost for taxi services. Totally going to come back and visit again next year.
had another great visit to the Best Western WPB! A very nice quaint property with very clean rooms, fast WIFI, very good hot breakfast and awesome staff! Great pool area and an easy walk to restaurants & bars and the outlet malls. Also has a small meeting room that works out great for my monthly ServSafe training classes.
We were greeted by very friendly staff who made check in a breeze. My room was large, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was big with thick towels. The grounds are well kept with a large pool and areas to relax, even a meditation spot. They're across the street from an outlet center and they have room service. We stayed three days, and will never have to look for a hotel again in West Palm, we will stick to them.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, check in was quick and it was a very peaceful stay. Room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was perfect and I was greeted with smiles and good morning from every staff member I saw.
This hotel was great. Super friendly staff. Great location.Clean room. Great and delicious breakfast. Internet and wifi was very dependable.Pool was very nice.Everything about this hotel was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stayed 2 nights at BW for the Presidents cup lax tournament..Clean , comfortable. Good amenities surrounding the property from gas station, restaurant, groceries store etc..Convenient hotel lobby area breakfast that was more than sufficient for our schedule and needs. Nice pool area ..Just a good value for $$ N
We enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. It is across the street from the Outlet Mall, walking distance to Target and easy to get to Worth Avenue. We traveled with our two small dogs. The pet friendly rooms are great with a great dog area right outside our door with dog bags, picnic table and lots of grass area.
I stayed here for the weekend with my family. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. Upon arrival they told us that the facility was without running water and we couldn't use the bathrooms and they didn't know when they would have running water back, they said probably that night but couldn't give us a for sure answer. We still decided to stay. We went to our room which is outdated. The room was clean but beds were small, bathroom very small, just an old school room. Water did come back late at night, and we all showered, but noticed that the water in the tub wasn't draining. Which was not pleasant, since all that soppy water was still there after four of us took showers. The sink was also not draining the water. The continental breakfast was ok. They did have variety which was good. The pool was good and clean, and the outside amenities were ok. I did notice that a lady from the streets came in the lobby, got some water, and went to the pool area with all her belongings and took a nice nap in one of the couches... dont know how I feel about security there. FYI This hotel is a two story open concept facility but it does not have elevators. There is a big outlet mall across the street and a target next to the hotel, as well as a lot of restaurants near by. Overall did not meet my expectations, but for the price you really cant expect more. :(
Stayed for a night before heading out on a cruise. Close to shopping and restaurants which was great for an overnight stay. Was able to pick up some items we missed packing. And had a great dinner across the road from the hotel. We requested a room on the pool side which was lovely. Would have loved to have extra time to enjoy the pool and area more before leaving. Staff at check in/out were very helpful and pleasant. Suggested places close by for dinner.
In general, everything was fine in the hotel, the only thing I have to point out is the quality of the mattress I particularly consider that it can be improved, because the pillows and mattress really don't have good quality,
We were meeting our son who was flying into Palm Beach International Airport. The Inn is close to the airport without being under the runway. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast delicious, and the pool area inviting. Ron helped us in the morning and the night person was very helpful when we checked in.
The Best Western Palm Beach lakes is always a good place to use. I find the staff is very helpful and will do more than is usually expected of them. The location is good to being in the middle of West Palm Beach with the PB Outlets mall across the street and some many other stores around plus the beach not far away. I highly recommend this place especially since it is usually reasonable in price.
Ron's customer service at the front desk was excellent! We requested a late check out with ease. He also helped with suggesting ways to get around town via train, etc. thanks again!!! Had a good stay.
The property was poorly maintained The staff were terrible ! No energy and poor guest service Front desk spent most of time I. Personal phone face timing while guest walked up to counter AC was broken and leaking for 2 day before fixed .I had to go to front desk 3 times to get done . Carpet was wet 2 day next to bed and AC People in our group changed hotels because of how run down hotel looked and garbage cans full on most of property most of the day Staff didn't care or go out of way to help guest
We've brought our baseball organization down to the Best Western each of the last four years. The BW Staff has always been very polite, kind and professional with our staff and players. The hotel provides many activities for everyone including a swimming pool, shuffle boards, BBQ set up and large chess set. In addition, it's located across from the outlet mall which is always a plus. I would highly recommend this hotel for business, pleasure or team events.
Reminded me of the days of the past!! Clean and most things have been updated ; Need to get the internet up and running the first time the guest try and connect... other than that it was nice for a overnight stay
We needed a place for one night while trading vehicles in that area and this place was great! It was a good deal price wise and centrally located, very clean and very helpful staff. They are also pet friendly!
I checked in at the west palm beach best western in February the room was clean for the most part and breakfast was in the morning service at the front desk was pleasant and no issues and there was also close by shopping and restaurants I would recommend to check out to.
This was during the hurricane and even though I was a little jumpy, all worked out fine. Best because did not get the hurricane and all I really wanted was peace and quiet and I was able to get that and made me feel great.
We stayed here for one night. In the morning we enjoyed the large pool and the good breakfast (fruits, waffles and bagels). The breakfast area was very clean. Parking is directly available at the site. On the other side of the street are some outlet malls and next to the hotel, you find a Target. We had a short but nice stay and Ron at the front desk was a really friendly!
You won't be disappointed with this place. Very clean and run very well. Beds are extremely comfortable, and outlets are plentiful. Room stays cool as your preference, which is amazing! I loved it.... For sure!
The location is very well kept and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, especially at the front desk. Everyone was very receptive to questions and had a lot of local area knowledge for food and entertainment. Amenities are different and very cool, BBQ/ outdoor dinning area, shuffle board, large outdoor chess board, cabana, and more.. I really look forward to staying there again soon.
The ONLY reason I booked here is because it was so last minute. The bathrooms were tiny & half cleaned. The carpet is dated, the fridge wouldn't get cold, the noise level at the pool and people just being loud while others are trying to sleep 2-3 in the morning was ridiculous! The staff was ok. But this place was definitely not worth the $538 for the 4 nights I had to be there!
This property is meticulously well maintained both inside and outside. The staff is professional, courteous, and efficient. The hotel shuttle van service is a very helpful amenity. The vehicle is very clean and well maintained.
I stayed here with my husband and toddler. The staff was courteous. The room was clean and updated. The courtyard is gorgeous. It's very close to the outlet mall and only about 15 minutes from downtown and maybe 20 minutes from the closest beach.
Not sure if I would stay here with just my family, but we were there for a baseball tournament and all of the families were staying there so that made it better. Breakfast was okay....waffles were very good. Coffee available 24/7. Staff was very friendly. Only negative about the room was the light outside the room and the curtain didn't block it out totally so kept the room sort of lit. Size of room was good and plenty big enough for my me, my wife and my son.
I stayed in April with my family since it was close to the airport. Check in was fast. Room was very clean. I have a two year and we had to push the bed against the wall since she moves around alot while sleeping. Usually you would have who knows what underneath the beds but this room was super clean. The grounds area around the hotel were very beautiful and well kept. You could tell they take pride in their work. The pool was very spacious. Breakfast was good. Overall the service and cleanliness was top notch.
Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. A lovely property located right across a shopping center with lots of restaurants. We actually walked for dinner. It was surprisingly quiet at night even with the closeness to the roads and shopping mall. Breakfast was good and the staff were very kind and helpful. If you don't mind open your room door to the outside/parking lot, then this is a good hotel to stay. We only stayed one night and It was very good overall. We'd stay again.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for shopping and dining. It is next door to a Target and across from a shopping outlet. Lots of restaurants.
I've been a fan of Best Western for some time. This stay I had some disappointments starting with the shuttle pickup. Why BW won't just list the fee for shuttle service is beyond sneaky. Fine print does tell you to call hotel for information, but why... when you could just tell us on your web page. So not only are the rates surged for those cruise days but an additional $25 per room for shuttle is added to your bill. After an over 30min wait for the dam shuttle to get us from the airport we were disgusted! To add fuel to that fire the older short driver I didn't get his name was almost rude and on the phone having an angry sounded personal conversation while driving. So we get there to check-in earlier than 3 and needed to wait. No problem with that. I'll say the gentleman at the desk was good with his customer service skills. I believe he knew We we're or would be upset when we arrived and his nice smile amd greetings brought me back to a happy I'm on a short vacation mode. Again I was to upset when I arrived to take names so unlike me. Any how after getting settled in the room we later used the shuttle to go across the way. Its walkable if you're in the mood but we had a 3 yr old and my mom with a not so good hip. The evening driver taller older gentleman was much happier driver and not distracted very personable. He also picked us up on the other end later and he drove me to the Chase bank in.the mall complex! Kudos to his great customer service and overall niceness. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool and various garden areas are a nice touch. Breakfast basic waffles, bagels, toast, english muffins, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and fruits. Easy to find something to fill your belly. Other front desk staff helpful with checking on shuttle arrival and providing towels and bags of ice.
This is a lovely property. The pool, with the 7 foot deep section, helped me relax after traveling. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was typical Best Western fare. It's not fancy but is sustaining. I'd come back.
The reason we booked this hotel package was purely based on the reviews this place has! Such a great place! It's right off the 95, very easy to find! Very friendly staff! Great hot breakfast included! Coffee was good! Great outlet shopping across the road, and Target next door! There is a Red Robin and a BJs restaurant within walking distance.
This little gem of a hotel was a welcome oasis when we arrived at West Palm Beach.. All of my requests had been accommodated - a quiet room overlooking the courtyard. The grounds and pool area were so attractive and well maintained, the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous and the breakfast excellent. Our room was every bit as good as other more expensive hotels we had stayed in previously, with every facility we needed and incredibly comfortable beds. Overall, fantastic value for money and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Everyone is so friendly and so accommodating. No matter how many times you ask questions, you are always greeted with a smile and given enough information to make informed decisions. Looking forward to my next stay.
This Best Western is immaculate and well maintained. The staff, especially Ron at the front desk were efficient and friendly. The location is excellent, with Target next door and a large outlet mall across the street. Breakfast was morethan adequate and the coffee was excellent.
The ladies taking care of the breakfast ( Darlene and Lordene ) were simply the sweetest. Efficient, happy and constantly making sure everything was stocked, fresh and clean. For a continental breakfast, the service couldn't have been better. My daughter and I loved the fresh waffles with strawberry syrup and a hot cup of coffee was the perfect end to breakfast at this adorable place!
This is an amazing Hotel it has nice spacious comfy clean rooms it's close to everything and have a very nice friendly efficient staff you will love your stay here.If you get a ground floor room your car is really close because the ground floor doors face out side and not to a long hallway, which was very nice..
This was a typical Best Western, the usual standard for the Franchise. The room was large well equipped and quiet. The room (amongst others in Florida) smelt slightly of dampness, particularly the linen and pillows. I know the rooms don't get the opportunity for airing and the a/c makes the condition worse. But a bottle of Febreze sorted that. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, was travelling and sightseeing, but the premisies were in great condition, the pool was large and clean, there was plenty of seating around the pool. The reception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and there was a great selection of hot and cold food, cereal, fruit etc etc. It was self service, but there was aleways someone on hand to help. The breakfast was a great addition and really enjoyed it. Would I stay again - yes if in the area, would I recommend - yes as well.
This place was great! Stayed two separate nights before and after our cruise. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Shuttle service was great! Took us downtown everyday. Hotel was clean and well kept! Will be back soon!
The customer service at check in over the weekend was absolutely fabulous. It was so nice to be greeted by polite and pleasant hotel representatives after a long and tiring drive. The hotel pool grounds were lovely well manicured and very relaxing to sit out in the patio area by the pool. We did not get up in time for breakfast but the set up looked like they provide a good variety. Our beds and bed linens were super comfy, room was clean. Although we were only able to stay for one night, I would not hesitate to stay here again for a longer stay.
We stayed here 3 nights, this motel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating,we were by the courtyard and pool area...beautiful and the breakfast was also great...would definitely stay here again
The hotel and staff were excellent. Very clean and well kept. Large open court yard with pool, tables, and grille for that more than one night stay. I would recommend this hotel for anyone, including kids. There are numerace stores and other eating places within walking distance.
Stayed here for the 3rd time in the last few years and the place keeps getting better and better. Excellent facility with great pool area and other amenities. Excellent staff from front desk staff to housekeeping. Would particularly like to commend excellent employee, Jermaine, working the reservation desk. All in all, a 5 star experience!
I wanted to give this Best Western four stars, but just couldn't because the facility is straight out of the 1960's, in particular the rooms (our entry door absolutely refused to close on its own - big safety issue, tiny bathroom, shaky climate control, and virtually no interior entry doors - another safety issue). On the other hand, the front desk staff was very helpful, and the interior courtyard is very large and beautifully landscaped, with a nice outdoor pool. The free breakfast was also notably good, the inn is well-located to both the freeway and nearby shopping and restaurants, and is has a coin-operated laundry facility, which proved handy.
The Best Western Palm Beach Lakes is a very well maintained hotel conveniently located near I-95. The staff is very friendly and the courtyard and pool are wonderful. This is a good place to stay for spring training baseball. There is one stadium in West Palm Beach (Astros & Nationals) and Jupiter, the home of the Marlins and Cardinals, is about 20 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again when we return for more baseball.
This hotel was conveniently located for our Washington Nationals Spring Training adventure. Easy access to FITTEAM ballpark and minutes to the airport. Even though this is an older hotel, it is very well maintained. All staff that we encountered was very friendly and professional.
This hotel is in a great location if you are visiting west palm beach and going to spring training games. It is right off I-95 so easy to get to other areas for activities. The hotel is older but well maintained. The breakfast is great with alot of selections. The housekeeping staff is phenomenal as well! We enjoyed our stay here!
The hotel has beutiful garden and so relaxing, Location is truly good, walking distance to Outlets, Targets. restaurants, etc. Staff member are so friendly.Beds are comfortable, Breakfast is more then expected(good).
Front Desk people are excellent, accommodating, helpful, friendly. Housekeeping cleanliness is outstanding. Breakfast stocking/serving ladies work hard to make everything right. We found all employees helpful, considerate, and friendly. The pool area is charming, clean, grassy, very nice. The entire lobby, check-in area, breakfast area is very nicely done for comfort and an open, bright, clean-feeling welcome. The rooms are old. There's a refrigerator and microwave, nice. Beds are comfy, have white duvets. The bathroom is old, not quite nice, hard to make it look clean with old tile, old tub surround that's seen better days, an old sink stand with not enough countertop space....but it has good lighting. Bathrooms are important to me, so the bathroom was the downside. We did know the hotel is very old, so it wasn't a terrible surprise, just uncomfortable.
We've been a couple times at this hotel and we enjoyed the garden and the pool. Although the hotel is located in an urban environment, it is very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is honest. The property is well maintained and very clean.
We enjoyed our stay st Bw Palm Beach Lakes! We always travel with our 9 lb shih tzu mix named Royal. This hotel was perfect for pet friendliness and convenience. We were on the ground floor with available parking right outside our door which made loading and unloading the car much easier, there were doggie bags available in the grass area outside our room with a convenient bench to sit at also. The room was a nice size, clean, comfortable beds, and free WiFi. It is conveniently located directly across from the Outlets Mall and next door to Target. We were here to attend The Worth Avenue Pet Parade and Contest at the Via Amore which was an easy drive only about 15 minutes away. We will be back to stay here again soon!
We stayed at this Best Western while visiting the Astro's spring training home. Thestaff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were a little dated, but extremely clean and well maintained. There are lots of restaurants in the area and a Whole Fods Market across the street. We will stay here again
Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Breakfast was great, staff was kind and professional. This is not a brand new hotel and is a bit dated, however it was very clean and comfortable. The pool area is fantastic, the cabana has big soft couches and throw pillows for the times it was time to get a break from the sun. The grounds are kept up continuously and it shows.
A very good experience from check-in to checkout. The property is well maintained and the staff friendly and efficient. The pool area is great for both daytime and nighttime gatherings. The location is convenient to the airport and I-95. There is a grill for cookouts.
Stayed again in this compound style hotel for 6 nights with a performing arts group performing very nearby: all worked out, nice hot/cold breakfast in large seating area, excellent rates, large rooms on only 2 floors, facing a very large mall with plenty of restaurants, shops and easily accessible by foot in less than 5 mns, friendly staff!
Be prepared for wall-to-wall carpeting, loud AC(but it works), very intense local traffic. Rooms nice and clean though, but humidity is high, and the carpet only makes that worse. In the pool we saw both frogs and ducks, but you can't blame BW for nature;-) But a hotel in european sense it is not. Breakfast I recommend that you bring yourselves, the breakfast served is carb-only! We booked on a friends recommendation; as it turns out we have different standards
The hotel shuttle service is worth every penny and more. Gracious staff. Breakfasts can use more variety. Rooms are adequate. Beautiful property including sparkling pool, lounge chairs, outdoor breakfast/hang-out areas, lovely plantings. Whole Foods is just catty corner, which is extremely convenient. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.
another great visit at the BW WPB. Guest rooms are very clean/comfortable, breakfast is very good and the meeting room works out great for my monthly ServSafe classes. There are lots of eating/drinking places nearby to walk to including the outlet mall!
I stay in a lot of hotels with the business I am In. It doesn't matter that the hotel was in West P Beach. This was Very overpriced. I've stayed in better hotels that cost half of this one. I would look elsewhere to spend your hard earned money.
Clean rooms, which are all non smoking, pool area is to die for, always nice and clean and you could go out and relax and enjoy. Actually one of the best I've seen. There is also a mediation area for those of you who do wish to smoke.
It had a nice pool area, and the weather was amazing, so we enjoyed that part. Price seemed pretty high for the rooms, but maybe that's just the area. Our room was 'clean'. In fact, it was so 'clean' the smell of cleanser/disinfectant was overpowering. We had to air it out, and then we were curious as to what happened prior to our visit.
From arrival, the staff at the Palm Beach Lakes location were nothing but welcoming. Check-in was quick and easy, the rooms passed the inspection of our group of 19, and the pool made it all worth the 18 hour drive down from Dayton, Ohio. During the week, the hotel staff went above and beyond, making sure we were comfortable and ensuring we were able to see the best of of the area had to offer.
We stay at BW's all the time and this was the saddest one we've every experienced. The room smelled musty and not clean although it did appear clean. There is NO elevator and they don't tell you that. Our room was on 2nd floor and I had surgery recently no others available they said. We never expect much with a free breakfast but this wasn't worth getting out of bed for. At least there was a bagel and cream cheese, hard to make that bad. Even the drinks in the breakfast were watered down. With a rate of $200 per/nt this is a sad excuse for a Best Western hotel???
Stayed with a few friends for a guys weekend/golf. That would be about right for the property. No glamour here, basic rooms, bathroom needed an update. Beds comfortable but nothing to write home about. Pool nice, no hot tub. Breakfast every morning was a plus especially when hung over. No bar on property but BJs pub across the street was a hit ! If you don't care about frills and posh then this property is ok nothing extravagant.
Really enjoyed the hotel. Friendly staff, bed was comfy. Old property but kept up well. Nice breakfast, and convenient located. We LOVED having the shuttle at our disposal for only $25.00. We used it over and over and it was a lifesaver. Very nice drivers, Alex and Boyd showed us around and were always there when we needed a ride. Great value!
We booked this hotel as we needed fairly close access to the South Florida Fairgrounds. I was pleasantly surprised at the large family friendly courtyard area. It made a great area to relax in, whether it was my husband and I, or our entire party. Great shopping and awesome restaurants right across the street!! Also, Astrid, sales manager, was a pleasure to work with, and did a beautiful job with our bookings, kept our party close together, went above and beyond, even leaving a special treat in our room, as it was my birthday during our stay. Will definitely be back next year!!
the groinds were well maintained - the room on the first floor was spectacular - I'd stay here again... Breakfast was good... the staff was pleasant and willing to help in any way they could... close to major highway, shopping centers and eateries
Everything was great. The rooms are clean & have plenty of storage and counter space. The laundry is clean & secure. Pool is centrally located in with nearby grill, shuffleboard, & oversized chess game. Grounds are delightful.
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, room was clean.Large, lovely pool and excellent hot breakfast were a plus. We took advantage of the shuttle several times during our stay, the nighttime driver Boyd made our trip a huge success with his pleasant smile and helpful tips.
They call it Inn, but it's more like a hotel. Good pool, good coffee, good breakfast.Freandly and nice people on the reception. Staying there for a week or two last year. Didn't think to look at something else.
Nightmare stay. Smelly room, like if it used to be a smoking room. Thin walls, made outside noise very disturbing, since we couldn't sleep from a noisy night of partying. Security was contacted 3 times but couldn't contain it. We did not sleep at all. I call the front desk during the night 3 times, and the lady tells me "i don't blame you". The next morning i went up to the front desk and asked for a refund and to speak to a supervisor. They said that someone will contact me later, up to this day i haven't received a call from no one. Advise? DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!...... Unless you need some coffee.
Totally enjoyed my getaway. This hotel is a bit outdated on the outside but the inside is fantastic. Very convenient to shopping and food. I would definitely recommend staying here whether it's for business or leisure.
This hotel has the nicest staff I've ever experienced! I've stayed there multiple times and took advantage of their shuttle service. They pick me up at the airport and take me to see my mom in a nursing home in the area. The drivers are all very friendly and professional, and they're always available. Thank you so much for your hospitality, I'll be back.
Lovely and tranquilo Garden settings, great hot breakfast but the staff are WhatsApp make it excepcional. We arrived late and there was an issue with the Air conditioning in the room but the hotel was sold out and no other Rooms available so Nadia at the front desk called nearby hotels to find accommodation to no avail. She then called guests who had confirmed reservations but had not checked in and found someone who forgot to cancel their room and since we were exhausted we were so glad she fit us in. The staff in the eating area also always greeted with a pleasant smile
There is an anticipated stress when a hotel has no elevator and more than one floor with rooms. I requested a bottom floor, but was told they were booked for first floor rooms. I have rheumatoid arthritis and was dreading the up and down of bringing items in, but I was so looking forward to the assembly that I was coming to attend, so I just went for it. Also, they were the most affordable and near so much shopping and restaurants! I did change my reservation to one day later arrival, so maybe that helped, because hooray! I was on the first floor and easy access to my room from the parking lot. The rooms were clean and presentable, which I was hesitant to expect, since it is an older establishment. There was a problem with the small refrigerator not working, cooling, but the desk attendant dropped what she was doing and ran over and personally took my items, labeled them and put them in a refrigerator they had. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and plan to stay again in the spring for the next assembly. I do apologize for not having a cash tip. They do not have an ATM on site, but I found out that morning as I was running to be on time to my event. I'll make up for it next visit.
I rarely write a review, but I have to do it this time due my bad experience. To start by the time of check-in Lobby desk personnel mixed our group reservation and assign rooms without ask to each family for their confirmation number. When I came to checkout they already checked-in another family with my confirmation. This make us to loose one of our rooms and one family of our group have to take a room in another building far away of the rest of the group. This ruined our stay completely. The room smelled very bad and I have to deal with many cockroaches in the room (see pictures), this is very disgusting. The toilet paper in use was from previous guest (see picture of it when we entered in the room), was almost empty. They had the refrigerator disconnected from AC outlet, this make that the refrigerator smelled pretty bad and we almost lost some food waiting for the refrigerator to cool enough to put food inside. We never again stay in this hotel.
Over the past couple of years I stayed here many times. It's always a pleasure, the staff are amazing! It's an older building very well-built beautiful pool and grounds! There's not anything I can say Beyond you'll be happy you stayed here.
Really liked the location and the scenery was beautiful. All staff was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Only stayed for one night to travel to our resort. The beds were great and it was very quiet. This Best Western was the best we have ever stayed at.
Best Western is a marvelous place to stay, it makes you feel relaxed and like your in your own little resort , we loved it here, and will stay again when we are back in west Palm beach , THANK you for the great hospitality Best Western staff, and mgmt!
Due to very shaky airline connections, we arrived around 2:30 in the morning. I had contacted the hotel prior to our flight and informed them that we didn't know if we would make it to the hotel for our reservation or not. The counter agent was very accommodating and allowed us to reschedule our reservation if we did not arrive before midnight. When we arrived, we quickly checked in, showered and hit the sack. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We slept well. Unfortunately, we slept thru breakfast so I can't review that. One thing that is a biggie to me is that the fan the air conditioner can be set to run continuously. When the fan cycles on and off with the compressor I have a hard time sleeping. I appreciate the option.
A property that truly lives up to the Best Western ethos. Excellent value for money, good situation with a large shopping Mall across the street and first class staff. I visit annually and it is always a pleasure.
We stayed in this hotel before and after dropping our son off at the college near by. It was very clean. Breakfast Was nice and had something yummy for everyone. The pool and outside area was beautiful and welcoming. I can not wait to stay again when we visit our son. It's also close to the beautiful beaches and outlet mall shopping.
Stayed at this Best Western for a weekend in October while in town for a meeting. Was a little concerned at first because of it being an old style motel with exterior entrances into each room. We were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were well decorated and in good condition. Noticed that there had been some drywal minor repairs done on the room which very poorly done, but it did not affect the quality of our stay.
The hotel worked out well as it was close to interstate and places we wanted to go. Room was clean, staff was great, pool area & exercise room good, and breakfast was ok. We had stayed at this hotel in the past and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and accommodate you.
Very polite staff, rooms were clean, very convenient to shopping and restaurants and the beach was a fairly quick drive. The courtyard area was very inviting and well maintained. I appreciated the overnight security as well for peace of mind.
Very Clean hotel, would recommend, we only stayed for one night but had a great experience, breakfast could have been better but overall liked it and would stay there again. Location was also convenient we were there for the lion safari it was close by.
I had an outstanding stay at this Best Western. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and helpful in every way. The resort style pool is perfect along with he beautiful court yard surrounding the pool. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
We had a very nice stay at this hotel, the staff is very courteous and very helpful. Harrie at the front desk was especially very helpful to us. The rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast selection fit our every need and was delicious , especially their house potatoes. The scenery on the hotel grounds is absolutely beautiful , nice scenic background for pictures. This hotel is at a Great location , very convenient being close to a major mall , restaurants, stores and Turnpike. Overall a pleasant experience.
The Best Western Palm Beach Lakes is a great hotel with terrific staff that went out of their way to help me with check in and packages I had delivered to the hotel. I recommend this hotel to everyone and will stay there again the next time I come to West Palm Beach.
I always stay at this Best Western when in West Palm Beach. The staff is super friendly, the resort style pool area is always in perfect shape and the rooms are very clean and comfy. I highly recommend staying at this property.
As usual my family and I had a excellent experience and stay. The staff is always welcoming, and kind. The room was well kept. Located in a prime area for food, and shopping provisions. We're looking forward to our next stay.
Each time I have stayed there, the staff has always been very friendly and helpful, would recommend them as a place to stay. Everything in the room was good. Lots of places to shop very near the Best Western.
Wonderful staff; provided us with the best of care. They continually checked on our comfort, provided recommendations for great food places (Park AvenueBBQ). The rooms were very clean; particularly the restrooms. Hotel decor throughout the facility is contemporary, warm, and inviting. Breakfast menu is small but tasty. Only neg -- refrigerators were not cold.
But just needs a little more work when it comes to their mattresses and pillows. Sleep quality on their current mattresses and pillows is awful. Sadly You will wake up with back & neck pain because of it. Better security needed for the door connecting access to the room next to yours too.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The free WiFi actually worked. The breakfast was hot and the area was very clean. The staff was professional even when faced with loud annoyed guests. It has a nice pool area. The beds were comfortable and the room did not have a bad odor.
i have no complaints. the food was great, the room service was prompt and the hotel staff were friendly. i enjoyed the hot breakfast and the way the staff treated us. i would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit the area.
love this place. staff is wonderful. place is clean and we intend on staying when we can while visiting down there. Close to all we like to do in the area including attractions, shopping and dining. Thanks for the hospitality!
This is a great hotel! It's within walking distance to great shopping centers! The staff was very nice and accommodating! The courtyard was very beautiful and there is even a washer and dryer room to wash your clothes! I very pleased! Thank you BW!
Stayed for a 3 day convention and the hotel didn't disappoint as it hasn't every time I've stayed at a best western. Always good breakfast and rooms. They accommodated ya when our first room had trouble with the A/C
There's nothing to complain about really, except I would have liked for windows to have been opened allowing the inside air to be refreshed. While the air condition is good I would feel better there was periodic fresh air passing through.
The breakfast area was small, too small for the huge number of customers. Almost all food items were out of stock continually. Little effort was made to restock depleted items. We stayed for two days and ended up going out to a diner for breakfast both mornings due to the lack of food at the breakfast bar at the hotel. Otherwise the hotel was very nice. Our room was recently renovated and very clean. A/C and everything else worked. Plenty of towels. Would have given another star if the breakfast experience had been up to par.
We stayed at the hotel for a Baseball tournament. The location was good and the pool area was nice. The room was older and showed decent wear and tear. It was a smaller room, but served our needs. I don't know that I would choose to stay here again, given other options in the area.
with another monthly visit behind me, I realize once again that this is a fantastic property to stay at. The guest rooms are impeccable, very clean, very comfortable and priced right. Love the pool and courtyard area that makes it feel more like a resort that a motel. The meeting room works well for my needs and the staff if courteous, professional and helpful. Ron & Ralph at the front desk are exceptional hospitality professionals!
Great location. Across from Palm Beach outlets. Many restaurants within walking distance. 10% off with room key at BJ's Brewhouse and Red Robin. Great clean remolded rooms. Awesome courtyard and pool. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice free breakfast. Many options. Nice employees.
The Best Western Palm Beach Lakes Inn was a lovely, one-night stay for us on the way to the Florida Keys. We enjoyed the space that the King Suite offered and loved the kitchen as well. Our favorite part though was probably the lovely courtyard that our room faced and the large round pool. Breakfast was fabulous as well.
The hotel staff at the counter when checking in were very welcoming and pleasant. We went for an overnight stay. The pool and courtyard were beautiful and very peaceful. They had a nice pool, plenty of seating, shuffle board, a large chess playing area and grills. They did only have one cabana, but nonetheless it was pretty. The breakfast was nice as well, however 6:30 - 9:30 for the weekend isn't a very long time, typically on the weekends breakfast is served longer. They offered coffee, tea, juice, eggs, sausage, biscuits, cold cereal, fruit, waffles, different types of bread for toasting, yogurt and a few small pastry options so there was plenty for everyone to chose from. The lobby was inviting and pretty and the eating area was well maintained and there was an option to sit inside or outside. The rooms were decent for a night's stay or a few days. They were very outdated and there were stains on the curtains. The beds were not comfortable at all, however the pillows were. The bathroom was probably the most updated area in the room and I was left with half bottles of toiletries, not sure why. There were plenty of beach towels and shower towels, which we did not use becuase we live close by and went home to shower. The room did have a refrigerator and a microwave and a coffee maker, iron and blow dryer. The bedding was outdated and the carpeting was outdated as well. The curtains weren't long enough to black out the room so you could see the lighting at night while you slept and people were at the pool well past 10pm and you could hear all of the noise from our room. Overall, our stay was pleasant the check out was easy as well. We would stay again but might request a different rooms to see if there were any nicer beds available.
We could not get cold water because the faucet banged against the wall or or get cold water in the bath. but we loved the interesting courtyard area and rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was decent and the hotel is very well located and is well priced. The GLARING problem was that internet was non-existent. How can a hotel in this day and age have no internet?
Calm and soothing music outdoors in the pool area, table outdoors and game area. Pool was clean and parking lot area clean,. ,Better exercise room here than other places I was in on this vacation. Great choices for breakfast and area kept clean. Was in a pet friendly room it was clean and did not smell. But did notice on cords for lamp was or had been wet on the tag for safety reasons had that look of it being wet., Could of been by being floor tile being washed or a past pet peeing on cord. ONE OF THE BETTER ONES I STAYED AT THANK YOU
I have been working in West Palm Beach for the past several months and have repeatedly stayed at the Best Western on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping staff have always been very accommodating, pleasant and professional. Ron at the front desk, in particular, has been consistently wonderful and hospitable throughout my stays at this property and I look forward to returning throughout the remainder of my assignment.
Miss Harriet the receptionist was Top Notch! The security was very helpful. The whole staff was happy to be at work. The rooms the amenities everything about the stay was very home like! I will most definitely be staying there every time I get down to West Palm. About three times a week.
Booked this hotel as they offer a shuttle to the Port. The hotel is in an awesome location, the staff if friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. We aren't here long enough to use the ammenities but the pool area is beautiful! I would definitely come back.
If you like the Old Florida feeling and a tempting tropical pool area, this is the place for you. A two story property with mostly outside hallways, the property is older but very well kept, clean, and the customer service is excellent. I prefer this property to a more expensive and more sterile stay at a modern impersonal hotel. The breakfast was quite good with something for everybody and about the only thing I didn't like was people being allowed to sit at the entrance to the pool with their feet in the water as if they owned the place. The staff should better monitor the pool area and ask people to keep the pool entrance clear so that a guest doesn't have to navigate through the drunks and people that smoke to go swimming. Those kind of people take the real charm out of the Old Florida feeling. Fortunately, they left and we were able to go swimming without having to address the pool hogs.
This hotel is in the perfect location for shopping, restaurants, and venues. The staff was wonderful, and the shuttle service is so convenient. It is important to ask for a room on the pool side (which I had) because it looks out on a beautiful oasis with sitting areas, palm trees, gardens, and the huge pool. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
I would like to start off by saying that I have been to this location at least four times that I can remember, the Staff remembered me by first name by the second visit. This is not because I am in anyway shape or form extraordinarily outgoing in fact on the contrary, the first couple of visits were not for pleasure they were for business and I did not say much to anybody because I was focused on what I was there to do for work. This staff went out of their way from the morning to the overnight to remember me by first name and last name, many people May enjoy being called “Mr. Jones“ because I am younger I jokingly tell people please call me by my first name Mr. Jones is my father, aside from their unwavering respect, All of the staff from management down to housekeeping will go out of their way to make sure that your visit is comfortable, clean, and all-around accommodating. This past visit in particular was extraordinary! Just wanted to go out of my way for the folks that work there and give 1000 thumbs up for being so nice to me I normally do not do reviews but the rooms are always clean and like I said they went out of their way big time to help me where a normal Hotel whether it would be a large chain hotel or a mom-and-pop operation would have never done but these folks did for me! When in West Palm Beach, I go to the best Western on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard! Great people all around! And a small kept secret, their breakfast is great LOL always fresh and hot coffee! Love these people!!!????????????????????
I will definitely stay in this hotel again , great customer service, they make you feel welcome , every person I came in contact with were very nice. I will tell my friends and family to stay at this hotel.
I chose this hotel based on previous experience- it's clean, comfortable and in a perfect location. The downtown West Palm Beach night life is minutes away, along with the amazing views and things to do. The hotel is directly across the street from great restaurants and shopping- and even better, I-95 is less than a block away if you choose to check out other nearby areas. The breakfast bar is nice too- good variety, they keep it well stocked. I will be back later this year.
We stayed at the Fort Lauderdale Lakes Best Western. The room was clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The coffee could have been better, but the breakfast was nice.
I stayed at four different Best Western's that week, and this was the nicest based on the tropical garden inside the courtyard. Maybe its not such a big deal, but it showed care for the grounds. Also, their breakfast was a little bit superior to the other locations. And, this was a very good value for the area. To be fair, this was a motel type format, but the upkeep was nice, as was the service staff.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff during our entire stay were extremely friendly. Sunfest was happening the weekend we stayed and the hotel offered a shuttle service to and from the event for a small fee. The free breakfast was wonderful. The hotel sits on well-landscaped grounds. The pool area was welcoming and clean. The rooms are very large and have all been remodeled and updated with a luxury feel. Truly felt comfortable sleeping on the bedding provided. The hotel is also located across the street from a large Outlet Mall with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Centrally located to the Downtown area Beaches and PBI Airport.
The pool and the surrounding area of tables and lounge chairs created a great atmosphere. The breakfast was well situated in this environment but the food per se was only average. Best Western has this
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The first room that was offered was terrible. right on the corner and over looking dirty car and truck park. The location of the second room was slightly better. However the front desk was unaware that the door was being stripped of the paint and repainted !!. But the worst thing was inside the room. First off it was smelly like a damp smell. The door had a large gap which did not inspire any confidence of security. I could have put up with all these until my wife noted that the sheets and the blankets were worn to threads !!! I have never ever seen this in any hotel or motel even at 1/3 of the price they charge. Then there was the bathroom. I think I will save you the trouble of reading anymore and just post a few actual photos. When mentioned all of this to the manager on duty the answer that I received was "We do all of our maintenance in Low Season" !!! I has to tell him that changing sheets and blankets that are worn is "Not Seasonal"! If he understood what I meant he choose to ignore me completely. After our stay I received an email asking for my feedback. So I have provided exactly what I am writing here (together with photos). I have not received a word from anyone connected to this Hotel or Best Western. This is all a shame as the Location is really ideal and the hotel does have a very decent court yard, that although in need of modernization, its nice. The breakfast was also decent and small patio outside was nice to have your breakfast.
Arrived early at 11:30am. I had asked for early check in which the didn't have a note off however they accommodated me and found a room that had been cleaned. My only gripe was lack of a TV guide and most of the channels we're not getting reception. Other than that clean and comfortable
3rd stay in past 3 years. Relaxing setting with cordial staff and good amenities. Close to many shopping and retail businesses. We travel with our dog and dog rooms do not have carpet while numerous other hotels do and we pay same plus pet fee. The floor in our room was very dirty. Reported on leaving to front desk. Aside from this the stay and grounds were well kept and relaxing.we will return.
Excellent place, We showed up without reservation and Jesse made us feel so welcome and even got us a good deal, I love best western and would recommend. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome.
I stayed with my husband and 3 kids. The pool was perfect and the patio area had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The breakfast was very good but was very busy at times. The room was good sized and the beds were comfortable.
The great crew helped me get my room very quickly (thanks again) and it was great--clean as always, comfortable as always, great breakfast buffet as always---what more can I ask?--see you again next year for another great vacation!!!!!!!
The hotel has a fantastic garden. The room is clean; the staff is friendly. The speed of the internet is acceptable. Breakfast is good. There is always a free coffee. The hotel is easy to locate. It is in a walking distance from a mall plaza. We loved it.
really expected more for the price charged. I quess it was because of the time of the year. the hotel looks like the pictures shown on website. It is an older hotel with renovations -they could have done a better job. It is at a good location right off the interstate and across the street from a mall. The bed was horrible to hard. The staff was nice.
Ok place to stay if on a budget. The room was mostly clean, but there were some spots that could have been better (carpet, bath tub). The staff was really nice, there was a long line when we showed up, but the lady at the front handled it well. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. Pool area looked very nice and well kept.
Overall the Best Western Hotel on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd provides adequate comfort, good pricing and close proximity to our Christian Convention Center of Jehovah's Witnesses. I look forward to staying there again.
The hotel was nice. They have a giant chess board outside. A couple nice nooks to sit in in the evening an relax and have a drink. Service was excellent. Quality of breakfast was great! The ladies serving breakfast went above and beyond to be helpful and make the experience good.
Stayed here with my siblings to surprise our mom for her 70th birthday. The rooms were clean and no frill. The pool area was beautiful. Large, spacious, with grassy areas and a gazebo. Breakfast was good and staff was courteous
Loved almost everything about the place. Classic style. Polite staff. Rooms were clean and updated. The courtyard was very welcoming. While the pool had some debris (leaves, sticks) floating around by 6pm, it was cleaned out the next morning. Had a great time playing shuffleboard with the family. Breakfast was nothing special, but ample.
Best hotel stay yet. Very well kept with a thumbs up for the housekeeping staff & the ground keeping crew. Very professional staff. Breakfast menu could use a little upgrade. The food was OK, just OK.
OK, it's a motel, but the staff was great and the hotel was clean. The courtyard was a great place to just hang out and chill. The grounds were well manicured. The location is great -- across from Whole Foods and the outlets and right next to Target. We will be back.
We stayed there while watching Houston Astros at Spring Training. It worked well. Breakfast was good. Well stocked with eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, oatmeal, etch. Our room was cleaned daily. Front desk was responsive when we needed something.
We stayed during March Break. Although the hotel was sold out a few nights, you would not have known it. The best part was the pool. It is large and heated and a treat to swim in. There were umbrellas for shade, by round tables at the pool. If there had been umbrellas by the lounge chairs it would have been perfect. My only other suggestion would be to have safes in the guest rooms. There is one in the main office you can use, but one in your own room would have been appreciated. The staff is very friendly and helpful and that makes this hotel top notch! Breakfast is good and I enjoyed the waffles. Sitting outside to eat was a special way to start the day. There is an outlet mall across the street and other shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. We would love to return one day and would definitely recommend the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes Inn. If you should go, check out the wildlife outback. My husband got a wonderful picture of a special duck. :)
Room was clean, comfortable. Breakfast was ok--waffles are great. Palm Beach Outlets Mall is within walking distance. Unfortunately this motel is used by large charter groups. We had the University of New Haven Baseball team when we were there--two dozen hungry college boys. Hard to get breakfast.
very clean and close to Jupiter Stadium and Ralph at front desk very accommodating Pool and pool area was large and relaxing and you could eat breakfast outside and relax in the rocking chairs also. Beds comfortable and pillows were great.
When I checked in to the hotel I was informed that my room had been upgraded to a suite. It was so beautiful and wonderful. I had shipped my dresses for the wedding earlier and they were waiting for me in my room. Astrid and the front desk staff made us feel like royalty. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds slept better than my beds at home.
Stayed just one night prior to joining a cruise in Miami and to be honest we could have stayed a lot longer. In Nadia and Teslyn they have reception staff to be envied by a lot more expensive hotel chains, they were very helpful and absolutely delightful. The hotel is clean comfortable and in a great position. Would highly recommend this hotel but would say that these two young ladies made a four star review into a five star one.. Well done Best Western for hiring them
We stay with Best Western frequently, but always worry that a property might be a bit dated or not quite what we expected. This property met all of our expectations. The pool/patio area is perfect for families and taking advantage of the breakfast. The room was well appointed and clean. The mattress was very comfortable. Access was very easy from Rte 95 and parking was plentiful. Will definitely pick this place again when we go back to Washington Nationals Spring Training next year.
The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the mall, great eating places, and movie theaters in here. The courtyard with very cozy and comfortable and very inviting. The staff was accommodating and professional.
We were there for over a week. Love the pool area. Grounds were well kept and staff was very friendly. Great location to the beaches, restaurants, shopping & more. The rooms were clean and fairly big. Loved the fact that each room lead to the outdoors. Our room faced the pool and garden area. Would definitely stay there again!
This property is very well maintained both inside and outside. The staff is pleasant, professional, and efficient. The van service is a very helpful amenity; you can schedule a trip anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. The breakfast is more than sufficient.
I stayed here for a total of 20 days for business, but this hotel made every effort to make us feel safe, they had a barbecue available to fry out if you wanted, everything was clean, this included inside and out. the morning breakfast was good and hot, but they could of had more of an assortment,(you knew what was going to be served each morning). the front desk employees were always happy and helpful.
I was here as part of a large group of gymnast families in town for a competition. The hotel, while not fancy, was recently renovated/modernized, very clean and accommodating. The facilities were perfect for us and the price was reasonable. We also enjoyed being right across the street from restaurants and outlets.
I was there for three nights with my family in a couple of ground floor room adjacent to the front parking lot. This hotel has a very good location right next to a super Target store on the side and a big outdoor shopping mall across the street. You can find a number of well-known department stores in that mall including WHBM, Clark, Ross, Banana Republic, etc. The breakfast room is fairly pleasant with indoor and outdoor seating that can handle large number of people eating at the same time. It also has a pool in the middle, a laundry room and a few small gardens along the side as well. The breakfast selections has typical hot and cold items nothing special but adequate. My two rooms are clean with enough space for my family members, but the decor could use some update. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. However the room location adjacent to the front parking lot affects our sleeping quite a bit. On the first night there were people parking outside our rooms turning on loud music and apparently smoking recreational drugs. I called the front desk but found nobody there answering my call. I finally decided to walk to the front desk for help, then saw some guys coming out from their parked vehicle and walked past me into the BW garden area. They all wore similar bluish color short-sleeved polo shirts. After this incident, things went quiet until some folks started turning their car engine before 6 in the morning. Since breakfast started at 6, some folks really woke up early. The room also has very thin wall so I could hear people turning on their shower and TV at night. I complained to the front desk about the parked car outside my room the next morning and after that did not find the same group outside our rooms anymore. But surprisingly I saw the same car parking on the other end of the front lot the next night. And when I approached that car, they quickly drove away back into the BW lot at the back. So I would let you imagine what I think was going on. Although I found the hotel staffs interacting with me on this instance to be pleasant and helpful, I can only rate this hotel average due to our sleep experience during our stay.
I found this to be a very, very good hotel. I've seen reviews that are not very flattering and those are usually written by people who believe they should be getting the amenities of the Ritz Carlton! We had absolutely no issues during our stay, the only thing that could've been better however, would've been a better Wi-Fi reception. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the staff were some of the best I've ever come across. There are so many things to do in the area and so many great restaurants and happy hours! My wife and I would highly recommend this area and certainly will return to this Best Western on our next visit to the area. Across the street from the hotel is a restaurant called BJ's. Happy hour is from 3 to 7, Monday through Friday and has half off beers and half off all their appetizers and I also believe half off all their well drinks.
We were very pleased to stay at your property in Palm Beach Lakes Inn. The reception desk was very professional. friendly and helpful. The housekeeping did a great job. The breakfast was better than the average. The staff who prepared and displayed the breakfast were very friendly. The shuttle service provided, turned out to be a great treat. We enjoyed the drivers, Harry, Allen and Boyd. They were extremely friendly and very professional. They treated us very special. We enjoyed the beautiful pool in a fabulous relaxing setting. The room we had was comfortable, but could use some updating. We would not hesitate to stay at this facility. The entire staff is wonderful.
I expect they very best and that was what we received. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and we loved the property. We have already booked another reservation with Palm Beach Lakes Inn for this summer. Loved the layout and the room.
Beautiful place to stay, everything was in walking distance. Room was very clean and quiet. The beach was very close, only about 5 miles. Staff was very nice and breakfast was great, lots of choices to pick.
My experience over the 10 years I have stayed there with a group has always been a good one. Friendly, helpful staff; better than average breakfast, relaxing pool and courtyard area, and rooms dated but fine.
Very good location, convenient to shopping, restaurants and highway. Room was average for an old Motel that had a facelift. Disappointed with the Front Desk. Upon check-in we were apathetically greeted. Clerk seemed disinterested. For example, instead of showing us a map of the property or referring us to the one on the key card envelope, she waved her hand in a general direction and briefly described the way to our room. When we noticed that the toilet was leaking, she gave no apology and only offered to call Maintenance. However, Maintenance never showed up. So when we checked out the next morning, a different desk clerk and a manager(?) again showed little concern and provided no apology when we mentioned the issue. Yes, I saved $50 by staying here rather than a better quality hotel, but in this instance it wasn't worth the lack of customer care.
The room smelled like mold. When I needed to take something from the safe (no room safes), I was told to come back later when someone who knew where the key was would be available. The deadbolt did not work. Despite telling the desk clerks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, nothing was done. I was told a locksmith was coming but no one came. Breakfast buffet was the worst: rubbery bagels, sugary cereals, microwaved eggs. Outside our room, every morning at 7:30 am and in the evening, 5 older (often drunk) men sat around smoking cigars. In the morning one of them read the newspaper to the others in a loud voice making it impossible to sleep. All conversations were loud, and often inappropriate. One of the men made inappropriate remarks to my teenage daughter and myself. Definitely not a place for children. I know the management cannot control this, but the place is such a dump, it attracts this behavior. I had stayed here 10 years earlier and it was a totally different atmosphere. Stay away.
The property is old and which means no elevator to the 2nd floor. The room has fresh paint, new carpets and a flat screen TV. The room's front door is original and doesn't close without a lot of effort and lets quite a bit of light in meaning the fit is poor. Keycard took many trips to open the door. AC unit had to be set to continuous fan to stop the on/off cycling. The clientele was retired and leisurely like myself and the breakfast station was well maintained the first day but they ran out of OJ the 2nd. Waffles and cold choices but it was fine. There was plenty of parking. I got the room through some arrangement with TripAdvisor and a partner named SellOn?? I believe it was some sort of resale of a reservation that could not be cancelled but this was my first time to see that service or booking outlet. The reservation was honored by the front desk so all went well. After taxes and fees I paid around $170/night for a property that would go for $99 at any other state in the union but this is Florida in February!!!!
This is an older style hotel that has been very well maintained. It has all the amenities you would want form a pool, breakfast bar, shuffle board, life size chess, lounge area, business center, free wifi and a very friendly staff. The room was clean and modern. The layout of the property takes me back to travels as a child.
Expat needed to make a quick run north. I wanted to see the Palm Beach Fl. area. Booked a room in the BW. Lovely hotel and room was great. Free breakfast was good. Would stay again if I was going to be in the PB area!
Very clean hotel with a very friendly helpful staff. Lots to do at hotel and surrounding areas. Beautiful grounds, with plenty to do right at the hotel. Loved the outdoor activities and grounds. Great hotel!
Property is close to Palm Beach Airport and Port of Palm Beach where Grand Celebration Cruise ship docks. Property is not new but well maintained. Front desk staff is helpful especially Jesse. House keeping responded promptly to a request about a stale odor in closet in our room.
Love the hotel and our room was beautiful, clean and we had everyth8ng we needed. Close to mall, eating places, City Place, gas station right next door to it. You could walk to the outlet mall across the street or go next door to Target if you need anything. Everything was close and hotel and staff were all great.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and accommodating. Only complaint was the soccer moms and dads who let their kids run wild over the weekend. Otherwise was peaceful and relaxing stay.
I have never had any problems with this hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I love the buffet breakfast! It is filling and very convenient with a variety of choices. I will continue to stay here when in West Palm.
Beautifully kept property, very relaxing garden and pool area, with professional staff who went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. No issues at all with this hotel, and I recommend it without hesitation. My family enjoyed our 5-day stay there completely.
The room is clean, the staff in the service desk are friendly and the environment are beautiful. it's across the street to reach a big plaza where lots of stores are open till midnight. I love the hotel and become a membership.
I likes this hotel very much but more so for the people as for the room. The rooms have been renovated, but the bathrooms leave much to be desired. paint needs touched up and the sink faucet was terrible. BUT....it's a well maintained property, very close to PBI and across the street from a very nice upscale outlet mall with a wonderful Whole Foods. I was not thrilled with some issues with the room but I would definitely stay again despite that. Front desk staff very helpful and nice. and, for those who rent a car, a gas station right across the street which is great when returning it to the airport
The room accommodations were very good. Bed was very comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water. The chair at the business desk in the room was partially broken and needs to be fixed before someone falls. Continental breakfast was very good. Check-in and out went smoothly - no hidden or surprise charges. Personnel were very friendly and helpful
Beautiful garden, pool, patio area! Comfortable room. Service was excellent. Breakfast okay. For someone who doesn't eat grains or sugar, there wasn't much fresh (except fruit). Was able to eat hard boiled egg and fruit (even yogurt was sugary & low fat).
I recommend this property 100%! I stayed for a week while attending a conference and thoroughly enjoyed it. While it's an older property, amenities are lovely and staff are friendly and helpful. Wish I'd had time for a dip in the pool. Great location for shopping with the outlet mall and Whole Foods across the street. If you happen to forget to pack anything as I did (sunscreen), you can walk to the large Target store 5 mins away and purchase what you need. The hotel offers a shuttle service for $25 weekly and it is awesome. They'll take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius. If I were to come again solely for leisure, I would rent a car. While the outlet mall and restaurants across the street are technically within walking distance, it's quite spread out. Save your energy for the shopping :) Definitely will stay here again!!!
Not a better place in the city. Property & pool area are beautiful. Close to all your shopping needs. The property is well maintained and the staff is excellent. Really don't want to say how great it is because it may make it harder for me to get a room.
Great outdoor area and pool. The reception staff were super helpful and accommodating. Internet was free and a good speed. The beds were super comfortable. The rooms were a little dark but perfect for our stay
Reasonably priced, lovely warm pool. Loved the little meditation garden, garden chess games and statue garden. Place was well decorated for Christmas and the staff were absolutely lovely and the service was great. Everyone was friendly. Seemed like a good place to work.
You get what you pay for, the hotel is clean, safe. Renovations are ongoing. The staff is courteous and they go out of there way to help you. They provide you will a continental breakfast which you can eat in or sit by the pool.
Well run property. Newly renovated rooms and lobby. Excellent location. Will stay again when visiting family in the area.Best Shopping area in town! Good dining spots and close to beaches and citiplace too!
Great overall stay with friendly and helpful staff. Close to shopping, stores, Target, and restaurants as well. Breakfast is served with free coffee throughout the day. Good price. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was quiet and super clean. The staff were exceptionally accomidating. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature. You must stay at this hotel. It is a throw back to a more relaxing time. People sat around the pool sunning and chatting with strangers. Children made friends while parents relaxed. But the very best part of the stay at BW was the shuttle driver Boyd. He drove us everywhere and told us newbies to WPB about all there was to do.
This hotel is amazing. Great staff, friendly and everyone smiles all the time. Very clean, beautiful pool area and a great breakfast. The hotel is across from the Outlets Mall and two major restaurants. Everyone made my stay enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
I had a wonderful time. They have a big pool and a great breakfast. U will love to stay here. The lobby is huge.nice big parking lot. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. All the rooms was great and clean.
I really enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff was really nice and welcoming. I went for a conference and stay at the Best Western Palm Beach. My room was very nice and comfortable, and always clean. I definitely will be back soon and I highly recommend this hotel specially because it fit the budget and its worthy
The staff at the front desk were very pleasant, the rooms were nice , only complaint is the rooms were a bit moist , not sure if it's from humidity , breakfast was okay, the breakfast attendant had a bit of an attitude , other than that my stay was pretty nice
Needed a long term stay for medical reasons. Had orthopedic surgery and was so nervous about staying in a hotel. The staff and stay was better than expected. The shuttle was a lifesaver and so was the breakfast. Overall clean and convenient. Thank you
hotel was nice although room accommodations are getting a bit old. pool area is very nice along with breakfast and lobby area. we left the room the first morning of our stay and told the cleaning staff we would be gone, however, when we returned around dinner time, the room had never been cleaned. Also, the room had a very musty smell. overall, the hotel could be very nice with a few upgrades to rooms and a better cleaning staff.
Stayed there in their Jr Suite (two rooms with wall knocked down) Baths size were original 1960 design 5'x8' room.Take a shower and water backs up to ankle depth. Room had musty smell.Front desk was accommodating. However was only wanting a single,(they were sold out)I took this room, because of great experience at another BW and recommendation by them.Room was overpriced could have stayed beachfront for same money or less.Lesson learned book thru web sites.
The whole place was very clean. I had very relaxed conversation with the staff who acted courteous and professionally. They were all dressed up in fine, business like manner, exhibiting class and style. The internet was also good.
I have NO CLUE how this place got such a high rating, seriously the TOILET did not flush. The clean linen felt damp. Room had a slight mildew smell. Television was on its last leg. Would not provide free shuttle for my morning transport
I had had an exhausting 46 days of travel and this was a good lace to recover. Not too far from anything and yet ar enough away to be quiet. Great. The facilities were varied and should suit all. The staff were subtlely ensure you stay was most pleasant.
Good location, Reasonable driving distance from major attractions and shopping centers. The romms are very big, good maintained, clean and comfortable. Courteous staff, making an effort to help each request.
I should have read reviews first. This was a last minute booking. Went on BW name and thought it would be ok. You get what you pay for. Won't be staying again. Hotel gross. Staff was nice enough. It's old.
We booked one night as a stop over~ wish we had a week here!!! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Grounds and pool are very beautiful! Breakfast was quite good ~ rooms were VERY NICE! Beds so comfortable I didn't want to get up!!! HIGHLY recommend this hotel ~ request poolside room facing pool ~ SO NICE!
We stayed here twice during our Irma visit to FL--once before she hit, and once after. Both times the staff was very helpful and did everything to make us comfortable. We were visiting from CA, had never been to FL. In the middle of our first night, we got an alert on our phones that a direct hit from Irma was expected, so we decided to head north. The windows were being boarded up as we left. After staying in Jacksonville, hoping to escape Irma (Ha!), we headed back south for our stay on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, but we couldn't reach that hotel. Luckily, we were remembered at BWPBLakes, and every effort was made by Maria and Danielle, and the rest of the staff, to make us comfortable, even though the hotel didn't have power. Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting us stay with you again! You will live on in our Irma story!!!
So the only reason I give it a 3star is because of the customer service. This was the first time I walk into a Best Western and I don't feel welcomed. We went to a concert and didn't want to drive two hours back home at midnight. So we unfortunately did make reservations ahead of time. When we arrived like stated the front desk employee was not very friendly. She started they only had 1 room available yet the parking lot was pretty empty. As we went over the rate the phone rang and she answered the call. She had her conversation with the person on the phone who was also looking for availability. She tells them she has one room available. She then looks at me and says so are you taking the room? I tell her we are here already and I thought that was what I was doing booking for the night. Putting that to the side the room was clean and bed was comfortable. They do have a nice garden and pool. Breakfast is included. It is in a very Central area. The outlet mall is right across the street from the hotel.
Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Everyone seemed empowered to do their jobs and was eager to assist whenever possible. We will definitely be returning. The room was clean and everything was smelling fresh.
My company put me here after Irma and I did not have high expectations. The suite was very nice the people working here friendly and professional. The breakfast was adequate. Though I didn't use it the outdoor pool area was nice and well kept.
I love best western, amazing hotel and very nice king suite. Great breakfast and very good assistance service. The parking it's safe and the staff is very nice. Great champagne! Thank you!!! I hope to come back as soon!
I am always in west palm around the same time each and I look forward in staying at Best Western Palm Beach Lakes Inn. The Room are great and the location is in the right area. I will be telling my friend and family on how great Best Western of Palm Beach Lake e and the location is great.
The personnel were very polite and personable. I was greeted and made to feel special every time I stay here. The continental breakfast is my favorite, every thing you want even if you are on a strict diet. It's my place away from home.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Best Western WPB. It was clean, friendly staff, decent free breakfast. Room accommodation was also nice, beds very comfy and had room for pac n play for our 2 mo old. Note: two-story with no elevator. If you have any limitations with stairs, request a room on ground level. We are already planning to stay here next summer for our convention. Very convenient being right next to the WPB Christian Convention Center.
I had a lovely staff again this year. I'm making plans to return again next month looking forward to seeing you all. Keep up the good work of Kindness, Helpfulness and Courtesy, and let's not leave out the Welcome to Best Western Smiles.
We have stayed here before and we were very happy to spend another two nights in February. Considering the age of this hotel, it is not easy to get a reservation close to the desired date. Word gets around that this hotel is of good value. The clean and pleasant room coupled with breakfast and activities presents a nice option for winter vacationers. Another feature, people who are strangers tend to engage more in conversation here. Staff is very helpful and professional. We will attempt to return again in 2018.
The inside and outside of this hotel were beautiful. There's a giant chess set outside, as well as other games and a statue garden. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Located close to the college my daughter attends and right next to a Target if you need to go shopping.
Very accessible. Staff is very accomodating. Breakfast is good...but need some breakfast sausage or bacon and scramble eggs instead of cold boiled eggs. Clean and beautiful surroundings. Close proximity to mall.
This hotel has separate buildings surrounding a really nice pool. There was a patio with a small table and 2 chairs across from my room. Room was clean and updated. This location is fabulous. Directly across from a really nice outlet mall and close to major streets. Nice hotel.
We had just finished a cruise & was driving home when we decided we didn't want it to end. We picked up a magazine with hotels/motels in it and chose this one because it said they had a heated pool. The lobby was very nicely decorated & the manager/desk clerk was friendly and welcoming. Our room was near the pool area. It was very well manicured & there were decorations & a large chess game in the area. There was also a patio area at the back of the lobby. The room had nice, comfortable beds and was very clean. However, the pool was not heated & way to cold for me to get in but not for my grandson.
The room was clean. The pool area is beautiful. All the trees manicured. Very nice landscaping. Also, if you have a pet, they are welcomed! They also serve a free breakfast. The front desk area was very clean, the decor was pretty and the service was friendly and helpful.
As this property is near the VA Medical Center in WPB, and my husband had an early morning procedure to be done, we decided to stay in town. We live 1.5 hours away, so we stayed here the previous night to get an early morning start. This property is old, the beds need to be replaced, and the FAN in the bathroom was inoperable. When brought to the attention to the manager, his response was: "They are all linked together on the first floor, so I can't fix it right now". Does that mean that all the fans on the first floor weren't working??? But the kicker was when my husband went to retrieve something from the car at around 10:30pm, got what he wanted then realized the FRONT doors..... to the hotel...... were LOCKED behind him!!! He had to knock on a window to get back in, because he said he couldn't find any bell! If you have to lock the entrance doors, I'm not staying!!!.
Quick trip to Florida for family. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Court yard was beautiful. All the plants were marked with names. All landscaping trimmed and looked nice. Made for a nice afternoon by the pool. Did not swim but sat poolside. Clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.
As always, we really enjoy our visit to this Hotel. The customer service is excellent, and the pool is so wonderfully inviting. The area is also very convenient for access to the highway, as well as restaurants, and the outlet mall is right across the street. Lots within walking distance.
Windows, Entry door to room and bathroom walls need some maintenance. Ironing board covers needs replacing or exchanged to one that fits. Breakfast selections was not too bad but could improve. Excellent customer service. Grounds are kept nice and clean, Great Job.
I had a great stay at Palm Beach Lakes Best Western , the staff are always courteous and helpful , its a great location right next to I-95 , there is a mall across the street and a Red Robin also , The hotel is always clean , breakfast is good and hot , the pool is very nice also
Stayed here many times very clean great staff awesome pool conveniently located near major shopping restaurants beaches and 195 pool area was awesome large clean very friendly staff i would highly recommend
The hotel was nice but old. It had many rift rafts around and staying there, which made us a little nervous. The breakfast was okay. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous which made for a pleasant stay.
We had a second floor room on the back side of Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. Initially had problem with temperature of fridge in room, was quickly corrected after reporting. Staff very friendly. Breakfast adequate.
The only problem we're: problem with door entry to Room. Not only with me but several guests. And pool could have been cleaned better, was green on several area looks like mode. Overall the service was great. Breakfast would have been better if they serviced scrambled eggs and bacon.
I do business about 50 miles north of W. Palm Beach (stay at the Best Western in Port St. Lucie) and spend one night at the Palm Beach Lakes Best Western the night before jumping on a 6:00-7:00a.m. flight out of PBI. This hotel charges a bit more than its Port St. Lucie counterpart. The beds/pillows are comfortable, they offer plenty of TV channels and a strong internet signal and there is plenty of hot water and decent towels. However, the owners should stuff less of the profits in their pockets and give the place a facelift. The grounds, in general, need some sprucing up. To me, the place has a slight "dingy" feels and I feel I should get just a bit more for what I'm paying. They do offer breakfast though, because my flights leave so early, I haven't had a chance to sample it. It looks pretty "typical" though I see that they have two waffle makers (which is an added bonus).
I really enjoyed our stay here I would've given it 5 stars but the linen wasn't to my liking... Jermaine was sooo helpful from the time we booked our stay for the family reunion til the end if it wasn't for him being so nice and helpful I usually would've complained about the linens but I didn't want to because he made everything else so pleasant. We enjoyed our stay this weekend, it was very clean and the areas outside very pretty, it's also closed to everything which mske it very convenient, the rooms were clean and in good condition, the fridge and microwave in the room were a plus for us as well. Will be back when we come to this area again. Breakfast was ok, wish that they had more protein options.
The Gentleman at the Front Desk and Staff as well were all Very Professional and Kind! They helped me with Faxing important documents and receiving the same. In addition, when returning my room keys, I accidently inserted the wrong card. They offered to mail it to me free of charge, however, we were still close enough to go by and get it. Awesome! He Had Me Covered! Thank You!
Ron at the front desk was awesome extremely helpful and friendly. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The room was a great size, very clean and comfortable. Perfect location, near I 95 across from the Outlets!
I stopped here for three nights and found it to be a quiet relaxing place to stay, this was my final stopping place and after 42 days of frantic holidaying, it was what I needed. It was reasonably convenient for some shops and decent restaurants within walking distance and obviously suitable for the vehicle users. Adequate parking and suggested parking sites was assigned as required. The staff were quietly efficient from the front desk to the room servicers.
The folks at BW are great. The place was very clean from the front lobby to the patio and pool, and of course the rooms. I was here for the Mitchell Family Reunion this weekend. The front desk clerk, Pascale, was such a joy and pleasure to speak with. She made you feel warm and welcome. My room was fresh and clean and had plenty of clean towels! The cleaning staff is amazing. Kudos to the person who was assigned to the 167 hallway. She checked to see if I had enough towels or if i needed more. Front dest clerk, Jermaine Clintscale, he was very nice. His smile and demeanor are an asset to your company. I was locked out of my room and went to get help to get back in. This guy gave me the biggest smile and said no problem. He was fast and prompt. Great guy! He deserves a raise! On Sunday, I came down to the kitchen after breakfast was over. I asked a staff person for oatmeal. Although she was cleaning up, she was kind enough to go to the kitchen and retrieve two packs of oatmeal!!! She asked if I needed anything else. She went to the kitchen and brought me some milk, brown sugar, granola, and cranberries. Now this was amazing! She made me feel so important. She was great! I love this place and will definitely return again!
Well see you next year can't wait enjoyed myself enjoy staying at the hotel every year. You guys make me feel so welcome. Wonderful staff room was clean and enjoy the pool side with family and friends.
had another great stay this month at the Best Western WPB. They have a nice meeting room for my training classes that looks over the pool, a very nice center courtyard and fantastic updated rooms with a good solid breakfast! Lost of shopping/eating/drinking within very short walking distance.
It's great experience everyone is friendly and helpful I stay here about every 6-8 weeks for work .tgey staff always smiles and goes beyond every time . I would highly recommend staying here any chance you can
Beautiful, well kept, friendly and I would definitely recommend this hotel, my fiancé and I didn't wanna leave and will be back before the summer is over. The continental breakfast was good , rooms very sanitary and clean. The landscaping and premises were simply beautiful!
Not one of the best Best Western's I've stayed at. Breakfast assortment not as good also. Stayed 3 nights but only got room cleaned once as house cleaner didn't come in one day. Convenient location to everything.
The outer area in the hotel is nice, the pool outside and chill out areas. The rooms were adequate and clean. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the pool area. The room was not noisey as some others report but I guess if there are children playing round the pool it could be. The only let down for me were the staff, nobody here was welcoming or even cracked a smile during my stay.
This was my third stay at this hotel, and my go to hotel for the Palm beach area. What stands this hotel apart is the service and the grounds. The rooms are standard and probably due for an update, but they are comfortable. The rooms however don't matter at all when you have grounds like this hotel. The gardens an pool area are simply sublime. The care and attention to detail are incredible. I watched the staff painstakingly clean the outdoor areas better than I had ever seen at a small hotel before. The service is impeccable. I had a small problem with my original room and it was handled like a five star hotel. So professional. Breakfast is ok. Standard continental. This was the first time I had a room facing the road which isn't quite as nice, but it was memorial weekend so very busy. Loved playing shuffleboard and just hanging by the pool. Great shopping across the road at the outlets. Plenty of food options all around and even better the hotel has a grill/bbq for guests to use, which was great. The only improvements I could suggest would be to update the bathroom in the room I was in and the waffle mix was a bit doughy. Nitpicking at best. This is a great low budget option for the Palm Beaches.
The hotel was a perfect place for us to stay. The staff was so very friendly and the pool and garden area amazing. The only item I would hope to see improved would be the breakfast as someone trying to avoid carbs it didn't have much to offer.
Dear Sir, While I appreciate your email, I must report that the stay was less than satisfactory. When I scheduled the room in advance I notified the woman on the phone that I was having work done on my home Monday and that I required a room for only the afternoon so I could sleep before my shift that evening at work. I appreciated the accommodation offered, however when I checked in Monday and reiterated the need for a quite place for the day, my request was seemingly ignored. I was given a room only a few doors away from where the staff do laundry on the first floor in front of the pool. Every hour I was woken up by staff carts heading to said laundry, staff laughing and speaking loudly to each other, and finally by over a half hour of lawn maintenance and kids in the pool. I got nearly only 2 hours of sleep before my 12 hour evening shift as a nurse in the hospital. Finally, I went to shower before leaving and the room had no hot water! There were few cars in the parking lot so I am sure a room on the second floor or even on the opposite outer part of the hotel would have been more accommodating and available. No sleep, plus a cold shower upon check in made for a very uncomfortable stay.
I have stayed at this location multiple times. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. The pool and surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. I would stay here again.
You will love it here, the staff are super friendly, the rooms and grounds are gorgeous and clean clean clean...It is like stepping back in time to the late '50's and early '60's -- Pool, flowers, cafe tables with yellow canvas umbrellas -- sooo festive. Highly recommended!!!
This was the second time we have stayed here in 3 years. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The Pool are is GREAT!!! We were in town for a family affair, great place to meet and socialize. The room attendants were extremely pleasant and helpful. Ron seems to keep avery tight ship. Total professionalism!
Again I am impressed with both the facility and staff. Our annual trek to SUNFEST cannot be better served anywhere else. We will return again year after year. Special thanks to Astrid Dawson, Ron and Teslyn, and also to the wonderful shuttle vehicle drivers that got us back and fourth to SUNFEST.
We needed a room for one night before boarding a cruise ship. Could not have picked a better spot. Large rooms, clean, and a fantastic pool area. There was shuffleboard, a huge chess set, beautiful pool, and a covered cabana as well as several BBQ's. We actually wished we'd booked longer so we could have taken advantage of all the amenities. On top of that, they let us leave our TWO cars parked in front of the office while we were on the cruise...FOR FREE! Parking at the cruise lot was about $224, so this was not a minor thing. Location is great for restaurants and attractions.
Great hotel. Staff was great, so as the room. Nice pool area. Breakfast was great too. Perfect location. Across street you have a huge outlets shopping center with restaurants and supermarkets. Everything was perfect
We had a big family reunion and we had a good deal from Best Western. We felt very comfortable at the hotel that had a good size swimming pool and tables around to gather the 40 people we were. We also used the BBQ grill and spent one night in comfortable rooms. We truly recommend this hotel for their facilities close to the outlets and Target and for their friendly staff.
This Best Western was a very nice, clean and quiet facility. Classic and basic decor with a great courtyard and pool area that was fun to gather at for breakfast or after a long day visiting the area attractions. The location was very convenient with a mall across the street and a Target next door.
Great location, Friendly people, clean and cozy, beautiful courtyard, beautiful decor.I love the fact that it's close to the beach but it's not on the beach. It is extremely close to all shops and restaurants .
It was great! They are very helpfull. Breakfast was great. Just and amazing place. Front desk was great Saturday night and sunday morning!! The pool area amazing and the rooms very clean everything was great at this hotel.
The hotel is an older property. I enjoyed many aspects of it, like the courtyard and pool area, the breakfast and the staff was very very good. in fact the reason i gave this three stars is because of the staff, otherwise it would have been two stars. I had to change rooms late at night because a swarm of tiny flies became present while I was eating. No problem they were professional about it. Also, the TV channels in that first room weren't working properly, i only received like 20 channels. i didn't know this because there is no channel card or guide in the room. When i got to the second room (at 11pm), it had a hundred channels. Also they put a $100 charge on your CC upon check-in. Not a "hold," but an actual "charge," which they did refund 2X for two rooms, but thought that was odd. it's not a bad option in expensive WPB, but for the price, it's seriously overrated and in need of better cleaning along with some updating.
Older property but well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have been better but did the trick,Right across the street from major shopping outlet mall. Numerous restaurants nearby. Best one was B.J'S right across the street. Close to airport for your convenience.
We stayed for 3 nights, because our house was tented for termites. We have a good time. Nice atmosphere and location excellent. Many restaurants nearby, the West Palm Beach outlets a cross the street. Also city place and clematis are not to far away. The hotel itself is very nice and the hotel staff very helpful.
Great location across the street from lots of shopping and dining options. Only a short ride from the beach, the ports, and the downtown area. Uber's were inexpensive and very quick and easy. The best part of our experience was the staff. They were incredible after we had a very difficult flight to West Palm Beach. They were very flexible with our accommodations and sensitive to our needs. Nice gym and beautiful pool.
I would have given this a 5 except the bathroom door would not close. I had read in previous reviews about a bathroom door not closing. If this was the same room it should have been fixed. We told the front desk person when we left. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay. Enjoyed sitting in the courtyard. Basic Continental breakfast. Across street from outlets and BJ's(excellent place to eat).
We have always had a great time staying at Best Western they have excellent staff the rooms are always clean and its location is excellent. The breakfast is good and its in walking distance to Mc Donald's and right across the street from the Outlet Mall.
Good place to night over, shops are nearby and direct outlet is across the road. Stayed one night, rooms were clean. Though my sister's room, adjoining ours had ants. Not sure how? Morning breakfast at the poolside was refreshing - a good place for kids.
We were disappointed in this room due to the musty smell that filled it. I found it hard to breath. Also, the sheets had so much bleach that I had a rash from them. There was no use in asking to be switched as our flight coming in had been delayed so long that we didn't even get to our hotel room until 4:30 in the morning. We were up and out by 7:30am. Wouldn't try again though. Pool area looked really nice though!
Great service and the room was nice and roomy for me and my family especially my dog he we all sleep good. The outside patio was sweet but sadly we could not try it due to plan schedule bummer. Everything was clean that's a plus. Our room was close to where we parked that traveling back and forward is easy.
I would highly recommend people to stay here the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the hotel is within walking distance to many places staying at this best western was an excellent idea and I kin forward to my next trip and stay
Love this place. We stay here every year for Barret Jackson. Clean, beautiful pool, great location, BUT..... this year they have new pillows. Thick dense fiber pillows that have no give. Both our necks were hurting within a couple hours. I'd give this a 4 star if not for that.
The staff at Best Western was extremely helpful. Earlier this year I traveled for work with my colleague, and we had a horrible experience. However, once I informed the new management of past issues, they did everything to ensure that I had a great and comfortable stay. For this, I am extremely grateful and will stay in the future.
If you are looking for a clean, friendly, pet friendly hotel then consider Best Western Palm Beach Lakes We used to stay at the La Quinta down the road, but the hotel has become run down. They seem like they have homeless staying there. The type of customers are not the same. Best Western does have a pet deposit and pet charge but if you want clean and safe this is the place to stay.
We were down in the area for the 18 year old baseball world series in October watching our grandson. There were a few other teams staying there as well. The teens enjoyed the pool and the lawn games. The casual breakfast offered worked great for everyone. Nice shopping area across the street. Very warm atmosphere, I felt right at home all 4 days. Older refurbished facility, but extremely clean - Mrs. J. Prater
The hotel staff at Best Western was very friendly and helpful. When asked a question they were very attentive and answered quickly and correctly. The hotel was very easy to find with lots of parking. The shopping area was nearby. The whole area around the hotel had lots of stores and restaurants.
We had a great room at a reasonable price. The location was great, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, breakfast was fine. What else do we need more? If we will be back in this area, this hotel would be our choice again!
Lovely staff, beautiful pool. Excellent location next to a huge target, starbucks and restaurants. Good delivery options. Bed could have been firmer. No condition in room. Have to ask front desk. Lobby is pretty.
I visit an elderly relative on a regular basis in Florida. I enjoyed the newly updated property and amenities provided- i.e. full kitchen, separate sitting area for television. The full breakfast is great and social time in the evening is a lovely way to quell the day. Location was perfect for my needs - close to I-95. I'll definitely return for my next monthly visit to west palm beach.
It was my first time being in Palm Beach and it was a lovely experience! The staff was great and willing to help and go the extra mile to help like when on of my room keys stopped working. It's quite convenient since the Palm Beach Outlets are across the street.
Loved this place, great staff, across the street from an outlet mall, great restaurants in the area, close to the airport. Staff is nice and friendly. Nightly rate is fair. Breakfast was decent. Shuttle service offered if you don't feel like driving to the downtown area.
We were in west palm beach for a college day preview and this was the closest, most affordable hotel to campus. The room accommodations were adequate, the pool and natural setting beautiful, breakfast plentiful. If we'd had more time, we'd have used the fitness room. It was a relaxing setting with fabulous staff. Negatives were that the bathroom door did not close unless slammed forcefully. Construction was ongoing so quite noisy in the afternoon. The area of town while conveniently located to the interstate seemed to be in a poor location directly across from the mall and surrounded by student housing. Target was right next door within walking distance. Lots of restaurants available plus gas stations.
Ms. Harrrie on night shift was wonderful. Ms. Harrie went above and beyond to meet the needs of a road weary guest. Additionally I checked in after 12 a.m. and the security presence in the lobby was very reassuring travelling alone in distant city. The courtyard was well lit and fresh paint was being applied on the exterior of the building. Directly across the street from outlets, couldn't be better location.
we have been staying at this Hotel for while and each time is great The staff is very helpful and the grounds are very clean and the rates or great the hotel is close to everything that you will need while you are out of town
It's a nice hotel. Very quiet, front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. They were understanding. The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Breakfast area was also clean. The rooms are spacious. I liked staying here. I would definitely recommend it.
This hotel is located just of interstate 95 so it was easy to get to. The room I had was especially large with two bathrooms and beds. The room was clean and tidy. The courtyard has a nice pool, plenty of places to sit outside and even a sculpture garden. The free breakfast was also good with biscuits and gravy, waffles, and a few other selections.
We are repeat visitors to West Palm Beach and to this Best Western. We enjoy the area here, the setting of the Best Western, the staff and the breakfast. Rooms are well kept and decorated. The lobby is beautiful! They have hot coffee 24/7 and a wonderful breakfast area. There is plenty of seating inside or if you prefer outside, there are tables under an overhead canopy. There are more tables and chairs on the patio and around the pool, most with umbrellas. There is even a grill with picnic tables which we have used on a previous stay here.
Very clean rooms and nice amenities (includes good breakfast choices every morning, wifi, HBO, Showtime, pool, games, free water and coffee all the time, in-house gym). Suggestion is they need outdoor ashtrays all around as people throw their butts in the lawn from the balconies, etc. Some garbage in back lawn (cig. butts, wrappers), not a lot but it was there. Pet friendly. We had two pets and left the room nearly as clean as it was when we arrived, thanks to our Dyson vacuum. Leaving the hotel, a clean room allows them to keep having it pet friendly. Suggestion is that beds need to be completely blocked so pets can't get under them. They were for the most part except at the headrest area where I had to stuff pillows to block that area and our cat still ended up getting underneath the bed and we had to lift it up to get her out. Suggestion is to clean under the beds too as there's lots of stuff under there. There are 4 pet rooms in the back of the hotel. They do offer an AARP discount. Overall, very nice hotel, would stay there again and do recommend it. Courteous staff.
This hotel is in a great location in West Palm Beach. Just off interstate 95 is easy access to the hotel. The hotel is clean and spacious. The rooms have recently been updated and are very clean. The rooms are outdoor exterior entrances and many face poolside. The pool is crystal clear and there are plenty of lounge areas. The hotel provides a nice breakfast with plenty of choices--and clean! This hotel is pet friendly too! Also if you love shopping then you'll love this location. It's right across the street from a large outlet mall! Lots of options for dining from fast food places to very nice restaurants. We were here for a business trip but plan to return for a vacation at the end of the year. The price is right for the value!
Really great location, just off 95, next to a gas station and opposite a mall. Breakfast was excellent, you can make your own waffles - went down well with my daughter. The room are around the pool and lots of other entertainment there too. Overall I was really pleased, good value for money.
This hotel knows it's lane. This is not a five star resort, but it's about the best a small budget hotel can be when you do the little things well. Last time we came without the kids, this time the kids came and they loved it. The played chess on the big board, shuffleboard and loved the pool. They had fun chasing the lizards around. They loved being near the outlets and Target. We had the Junior suite (max 6 people) and it was amazing ! much better than I expected. The property is well maintained and tidy, the breakfast is great, and the i95 is right by for easy access to anywhere in South Florida and beyond. The whole foods at the outlets is handy. Every single staff member we saw greeted us with a "good morning" or "good afternoon". There is also a guest laundry. Housekeeping was good. These guys are a good example of how you can be a great hotel at a bargain price if you take care of the simple things.
Great time at the wedding. Staff did a wonderful job making this a great day. Wonderful staff workers from the van drivers to the morning breakfast helpers. Breakfast was simple. Coffee can be a little better by purchasing a coffee maker.
My recent stay was even better than the last. I really enjoyed the helpfulness, kindness, and assistance of the staff. I also appreciate the beautiful upgrades they've applied to the location. Makes you feel very comfortable, and relaxing. The location is directly across from The Palm Beach Lakes Mall, and next door to Target. So you have shopping , and excellent eateries at your fingertips. I always stay here when possible easy access to I95, and the Florida Turnpike.
We evacuated our home because of Hurricane Mathew and stayed for it's duration at this Best Western: super clean, and unbelievably helpful and amazing staff who were incredibly attentive, comforting and efficient during the entire storm. Special commendation to RON at the front desk! I know where we'll hole up for any other 'cane that comes our way!
We have used this Best Western Palm Beach Lakes Inn on a different occasions. We have had meetings there and booked sleeping rooms. We always get lots of help from Astrid at this Best Western Hotel to make sure the meetings go well. For the sleeping rooms she gives us the best rates and service as do the other staff of the hotel. I highly recommend this place.
My family and I was suppose to go on the Bahamas paradise cruise.Due to a situation we had we were unable to go.Our flight to leave to go home was in 2 days.So I went online to search around and with the help of the cab driver he told us about this hotel.I must say Marie that works the front desk was very helpful and understanding.I explain our situation and she saw to it that everything was comfortable and good for us.This hotel is right across from the outlet and target right next door.We also use the shuttle bus which was very inexpensive it was one price and took us everywhere we wanted to go,but had to be in the 3 miles radius. I would come back to this hotel and will recommend any to check it out .
Teslyn, marie, boyd, roni and al... thanks for a fantastic job. Love your place! Great stay! The only bad thing is that there is no bar and security frowns on swimming naked at midnight. If you get lucky Tes will be in charge....she is unbelievably funny. Go Ducks!!
The kids were away in Disney and the adults got to go on their own little vacation. We stayed at this hotel and had a terrific time. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and goes out of their way to make you happy. The breakfast is good. The staff work very hard and it shows. The courtyard and pool area are well kept and so soothing. We are planning to stay again this weekend.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay. Whether it's business or pleasure, this is the spot. Great staff, great breakfast! Close to great shopping and and the airport, the Best Western was a home run for us.
What fantastic staff. There were problems with my door lock. Fixed almost immediately. The room was spotless. The breakfast facilities were very good. I checked out with very little notice as friends came and refused to take no for an answer re staying with them. Reception did all they could have done to assist me whilst I waited for them to arrive. Teslyn, Danielle and Jenn you set the bar high for others to match. I will almost certainly come here again This was home without the hassle. Thank you all
My daughter and I were looking for a quick getaway and so we reviewed a few options through Trip Advisor. This hotel is in a great location as it is close to the outlets and great shopping. It is really convenient. It is an older style property but our room was super clean, the front desk staff we all friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfy. For the price, this is a good option if you aren't looking for luxury but need a super clean place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Best Western. I will definitely stay here again. The continental breakfast was great. I loved the sausage and gravy most lol. We love how the hotel is close to the mall and target and all other nearby areas. 10 out 10 for Best Western
My husband and I recently stayed at the Best Western Palm Lakes back in the beginning of August and really was surprised at how nice the hotel was. Open arrival, we nearly passed the hotel, due to the sign not being raised high enough, so that it stands out when you drive off the main highway. Once we walked inside the hotel lobby, it looked really nice, with modern, chic decor and fall like colors such as plums, tans and earth tone colors. The eating area for breakfast is also located in the lobby, with the restrooms on the corner right and there was also a tea and coffee station for guest wanting a hot beverage. My husband and I chuckled as you can smell the chlorine from the pool area in the lobby. Nonetheless the pool area looked good and we had to walk outside and pass the pool area to get to our room. I was happy that our room was facing the pool area. There is no elevator in this hotel as it's a two story hotel. As we finally walked along the room doors and came upon our room number, we were a bit hesitant as we thought this looked like a motel. But alas! As we opened the door, much to our surprised, the room was very spacious and we entered a sitting/living room area and a kitchen/dining area to eat. The kitchen area also had a sink to wash dishes, a refrigerator, a microwave, drawers to store away food and a spacious counter top. There was also a table with four chairs in the kitchen area to sit and eat. We were very pleased. Next, we open another door leading to the bedroom and was impressed at the size of the room and the closet space. The bathroom was somewhat small but that didn't really bother us. We loved the fact that the living room and bedroom had a door to separate the two. So you can literally close your bedroom door, and a person waiting in the living room area cannot see you. I must say, we got a great deal on such a spacious room. It looked like a one bedroom apartment that you could totally live in. We had the King suite and really loved the room. The decor had a mix of oranges, browns and tans and the whole color scheme of the room throughout, came together nicely. Another added bonus to this hotel is the location. It's literally next door to a Target and you're basically on a strip with the mall right across the street. There's also restaurants you can choose from like "Red Robins" a Steakhouse and this Asian cuisine "Pei Wei" diner, which was really good. This is great for those who does not want to drive and prefer to do leisurely walks along the strip. This is also for those that want to grab a quick bite to eat. Do wear lots of suntan lotion as the sun can be brutal at times. My husband and I stumbled on this awesome restaurant called "First Watch" as the breakfast that was offered at the hotel was not good at all. There were slim pickings at the hotel and I think breakfast ended at 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. First Watch is a healthy breakfast/brunch restaurant that was really good! They food there was unbelievable and healthy! In a nutshell, if you're visiting the West Palm area in Florida, I highly recommend this hotel. The price was right and you're in walking distances to shopping and various eateries.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool area and lobby very clean. Breakfast was good always kept full. A lot of places to eat, outlet mall across the street. Area very safe. Very quiet, bed comfortable didn't care for the pillows but that is just me I always bring my own.
I asked for a quiet room, got put on the pool side of the motel--and right next to the room where laundry was done by the cleaning staff. Which was still going on at 9pm. There were substantial gaps all around the door to the room, plenty of space for the Florida wildlife (bugs) to get in. The breakfast was not very good, unless you're into the waffle making. The eggs cannot be described. The sausage patties were dripping grease. No yogurt or anything else that could have been easily spirited out to the rooms. The manager informed me at checkout that I should have called security about the noise--who knew they had security? I do not recommend this motel, especially at the price I paid. I live in Florida, but still get socked with the excessive taxes. Since I was there for a funeral service and to see a friend in Hospice, who was dying, this place did nothing to make it easier. So you might want to stay elsewhere.
Missed my flight and had to overnight. I like Best Western and am a platinum rewards member. Very nice reception experience. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. Gave a good reference for dinner and arranged for my transportation to the airport in the morning. The hotel is dated and needs to have upgrades to the guest rooms. Looks old but was sufficiently clean - especially the critical area; bathroom. The room had a damp smell and was bothersome to me. Just needs a good deep cleaning in my opinion. It was ok for the price paid of $89. Did not have breakfast due to a 4:00am departure, so cannot offer a comment.
Clean, well kept, good central location, great ameneties, good value. All employees were kind, helpful, friendly except for one. A little understaffed on front desk but still a great value overall! We really enjoyed the pool and landscaping with lots of places to sit outside alone or with a group to relax and/or reflect.
We only stayed one night this time and it was awesome. The room was nice and clean. We went for breakfast the following morning and were appreciative of the cleanliness of the hallways and all the guest areas. Hoping to stay longer the next time we go.
Great location and hotel. we enjoy staying here , attention was good and we will look forward to stay again in the next coming trips. thanks to all your employees. it was very clean. pool area was really comfortable
WE love this location because it's so convenient to wherever we have to go. Couldn't believe it when we found a Home Depot a half block from our hotel. There's no parking problem here. For my husband and I, we will have it NO other way. Whenever we plan a trip, Best Western is ALWAYS our first choice.
This location (just off I-95) is the perfect place to stay if you are going to Perfect Vodka Amphitheater. The entire property is meticulously clean, inside and out. We hung out at the pool area prior to our concert, then took Uber to and from the concert ($25 each way).Check out wasn't until noon so we could sleep in after a late night. All of the employees that we interacted with were very polite and helpful. We will be staying here for any future concerts!
The staff is very nice and friendly, they always greet you with a smile. They are very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The court yard is beautiful. Great location for my trip.
The hotel is clean, the staff is wonderful and the garden/pool area is amazing ! We stay whenever we do an event in West Palm and have never had a bad experience ! I have traveled with my Girl Scout troop as well as personal and have never been disappointed.
The grounds are exactly like the photos on the website. It does not disappoint! The breakfast offered has a good variety to satisfy family members' different tastes. The pool has a lift to lower in persons who need it to enjoy the water. Any concern was answered quickly with fast fixes and a most friendly concierge staff. Good directions are given. The housekeeping staff was especially kind and friendly. The room had no odor and was well-cleaned each day. We will surely stay again, now that we have our 'new' WPB hotel. So convenient to everything in West Palm Beach. Stay here for drama-free relaxation the way South Florida way of living.
This hotel was very clean, quiet, relaxing, and beautifully landscaped. The staff was friendly as well. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels and a blow dryer. The bed was comfortable and had nice big fluffy pillows. The courtyard was beautiful and has many activities the whole family can enjoy a life size chess board, shuffle board, a little monkey bar looking set up (maybe their gym not sure :)) and a pool.. Great stay really enjoyed this hotels setup. On our way to the Bahamas short drive to the port from here.
This is a great downtown West Palm Beach hotel and the only one that I found that was affordable. It is right across the street from the Palm Beach Outlet Mall and good restaurants and very close to downtown West Palm. Very clean and excellent staff.
This hotel is a great location for shopping right across from the Outlet stores. Also great restaurants and close to I 95 to get to other destinations for visiting. Have Family in South Florida and it is close enough to go and visit without staying down there
The experience at the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes began with the most helpful front desk clerk. He was there every morning while we were staying. The other female desk clerk was also very helpful. Breakfast selection was very good....the only thing I would have preferred was scrambled eggs rather than hard boiled. Our room size was nice and it was very clean. The bathroom area needed updates though. The grounds were well maintained with a large pool, shuffle board area, life size chess game and a large bar b que grill.
The hotel is really clean and good, the breakfast was all right. The only down fall for me was the location. I didn't feel quite safe in the area, but that's my opinion. Our room was big, we had a lot of space to get all of our luggage inside the room and not to leave it in our car.
The property was old southern style with Hospitlity that charms you ,that brings smiles ! The staff was very helpfully and friendly. The breakfast was great and very nice decor ,relaxing as you view the wonderful flowers and the pool !
The room was clean and fresh. Nice hotel. Breakfast was very good. The only problem was the room refrigerator, it was not very cold only cool. Swimming pool is nice. Location is close to many things!!
Always stay at this Best Western when I come down to work in West Palm Beach. The staff is super friendly and the have a good continental breakfast including the great waffles. It is a little bit older but very well maintained
I was a looking for a hotel near Fort Lauderdale airport but little did I know that I booked a hotel near West Palm Beach airport . I was in a rush when I did the booking and since I have good experience of BW in the past, I decided to stay in this place with family. As usual , it's a good place to stay in. The location is perfect since it is close outlet and target and other stores. Highly recommended.
This hotel was recently renovated and they did a good job. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nicely landscaped with a giant chess game you can play. The room was good sized and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
very clean, pet-friendly hotel that does not smell of pets. Staff is very courteous and helpful. They have green areas to walk you pet. The grounds are well kept a general good appearance. Pet-friendly rooms are tiled which gives the room a clean and fresh look.
Excellent! The room was clean and facing the spacious and well maintained courtyard. The staff was friendly and made you feel at home. Breakfast was awesome with the option of eating outside. Restaurants are within a 5 min walk just across the street. Very quiet area and we will definately stay again if in the area.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable with enough pillows to meet everyone's needs. The pool was fabulous and big enough for everyone. The kids loved the giant sized chess game and since we stayed for a week it was nice to have the grill for a cookout to save some $$. The staff were wonderful, always having a smile on their faces and always had answers to all our questions. Loved the concept of all the rooms around the pool. We will come here again!
The employees were most helpful and truly tried to accomodate. We were able to book rooms next to or nearby for several groups as this was for a wedding in the area. The only problem we encountered was, after being told we could have a porta-crib for my grandson, a 1 year old and after mentioning it to several desk clerks, I was told by the night clerk that there wasn't room for it in the room my son, wife and other 2 children were occupying. I said, ok but said I would be talking to the manager the next day as they had promised that it was available. Lo and behold, near midnight, a porta-crib arrived and fit just fine in the room. Other than that, no problems as it was a nice place to stay. Good breakfasts, a great pool for the kids to swim in and other things to do. The rooms were clean and neat and so thankful that they arranged to get us on the 1st floor near the pool. Thanks to all for making it a nice stay. I would definitely stay there again if in that area.
A very friendly hotel great people & service the room was a good size the wifi worked great the view of the pool was awesome there are several things for kids to keep busy so yes it is a kid friendly Hotel the free breakfast was good not great. The front desk girl at check in was very sweet her name is Teslyn so stop in & say hello.
I frequently visit the BW Palm Beach Lakes due to the extraordinary staff. They go out of their way to make sure each of my needs are met. Always a smile and a hand shake. The rooms are clean and spacious, and there are many areas to socialize or just relax in solitude. I look forward to seeing all the staff again soon.
We were there for only one day but I can say it was definitely worth it the place(office and room) was very clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was also very good. I definitely recommend it to anyone
The courtyard pool area is great for taking pictures. My kids loved the oversize "walk on" chess board in the garden. The kidney shaped pool is large and the deep end is 7ft. which is great for serious swimmers. Also the belgium waffles at breakfast were amazing.
It is a blessing from Jehovah God when I walk into this hotel again. I know the wonderful staff and the security will help me quickly with any problem I may have the housekeepers the clean rooms the great food is always the best, the careful and kind speaking drivers makes you feel like royalty. It hurts my heart deeply when I have to say farewell see you again next year to the wonderful people at this hotel
I have been staying at this hotel for years. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The property is under renovation but still a pleasant stay. Rooms that have been renovated are very nice, always fresh crisp and clean. Happy with my stay. Only downside one of the van drivers very rude and abrasive.
When traveling with dogs, it's not unusual to encounter a room that smells like a kennel or worse. It was a delight to have a clean room that did not have any undesirable scents. The doggie walk area was conveniently adjacent. Beds comfy, front reception personnel pleasant and helpful. Would I stay again? A big yes.
There was a high season in Palm Beach and even this disastrous place was almost $200/night. While it is located close to many stores, across the street from a really terrific Whole Foods, the hotel itself was just plain disguisting. There is nasty smell everywhere, and I literally felt sick after being in the room for 30 minutes. I ended up just leaving in the middle of the night and paying for a better place to sleep, but this hotel should never charge rates that high, no matter how sold out the area may be.
Got a good rate by booking on trip advisor. Average motel style. We stayed in an upstairs room which was clean. Some of the rooms downstairs allowed smoking and pets. Room was standard, clean, but not above average. Seemed a little old, musty smell, A/C a bit weak. Website said it has newly renovated courtyard, but rooms could use some renovating as well. Breakfast was okay. Ended at 9:30am and by the time we got there at 9:15 some of the food was already depleted, no more forks out, and tables had not been wiped in between guests. Overall, it was not bad for the price for our one night stay.
This hotel is in the midst of being remodeled. The lobby is very nicely decorated as are the rooms that have already been refurbished. The pool is area is great and lushly landscaped, it even has a giant chessboard for play. The staff were courteous and the continental breakfast was well stocked with the usual fare (cereal, bagel, make your own waffle, eggs, sausage, fruit, etc). The location is great, beside a target and across from an outlet mall right off I95. I would recommend, especially considering the price.
Really Enjoyed my time there, and it was comfortable for my family. The continental breakfast was ok. The pool was lovely. There we a lot of reptiles I am not a fan, but it was expected. I would consider to visit this hotel again if I vist, the customer service was awesome.
They turned off the water at noon without early notification. I was at the pool and could not shower when I needed to! They could have posted signs at breakfast and the pool that the water was being turned off. This was not a professional way to handle the situation and if I was notified early enough it would not have been an issue. Leaving a phone message in the room is not enough!
Nice hotel, room was very clean. Pool area was very cozy. Close to everything. Outlet Mall right across the street. Taget right next store. Staff where very friendly And breakfast was good. But they do require $100.00 deposit on the room. Which was refunded at checkout.
I'm so impressed with this hotel. What a beautiful courtyard and pool. The Breakfast was delicious. The perfect location with lots of restaurants and shopping within a short walk. The staff was very nice. Parking was a breeze. I'll be back. Best value in West Palm Beach.
Fabulous location. Loved all the shops across the street from the hotel. Visited friends and did not wake up early for breakfast, but the room was really comfortable. Liked to see the Security Guard at the parking lot at 3am.
Room was great. Clean and fresh. It was a very nice place to sit and relax or walk around the grounds and enjoy the landscaping. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the amenities. Breakfast served each morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will keep it on our place to stay in that area
The Best Western Palm Beach Lakes offers excellent service for the price. They have complimentary breakfast that includes, coffee, tea, pastries, bread, cereal, fruits, etc. The facility is conveniently located close to restaurants, outlets, Target, gas stations, public transportation, airport, the Palm Beach cruise terminal, City Center, etc. This hotel's grounds, garden, swimming pool area are beautiful and well maintained. My room was very clean. It had a flat screen television, microwave and coffee maker. The staff was professional. I want to acknowledge Teslyn, Jenn and Lakia. They were courteous and pleasant. Lastly, the hotel offered transportation for a ridiculous fee. I paid $20.00. That fee included transportation to the city center and the airport. I will definitely choose the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes again.
I travel for a living & stay @ around 30 hotels a year. This by far was one of the nicer locations. It isn't over priced for the location, friendly staff, great atmosphere, I will deff stay again. Jennifer was super friendly & helpful at the front desk she wrote down the front desk number and told me to call if I needed anything. They have laundry, outdoor pool, cookout grill, benches everywhere, tents to sit under, giant chess board to walk around on, vending, and at breakfast they have waffle maker most BW just have pancakes. Oh and Pleanty of seating for breakfast I've stayed at few BW where I had to stand and eat. I have no problem giving 5 stars. Nicest touch I feel is being rewards member at Gold level very close to Platinum they gave me me welcome bag with bottle of water, bag of pretzels & two fruit bars no other BW has never done this. Was only staying the night on business, but would return & stay longer for personal trip.
Chose this hotel because it was near my niece appt. The 2 complaints I have are, that the breakfast was terrible and bathroom had make up on door knob, light switch and shower curtain. Other than that it was a nice hotel.
Love this hotel. Staff are friendly, grounds are immaculate, and they did some extensive renovations. They also have a great breakfast and provide a free newspaper. The location is very close to a mall and many restaurants.
this was my first time going to this hotel.i had a great time the staff members were incredible specially the housekeeper that did my room her name was mireya . she helped me with everything that i needed and the room was always clean thanks to her.i also enjoyed going to the outlet mall that it was just steps away from the hotel.
Clean room and comfortable bed. Outside property needing some clean up but the inside was good and the staff was very helpful and nice. Glad they had the property secured at night with a security guard made me feel safe. Great location with nearby shopping and resturants.
ezi and friendly check in, nice room and good location with restaurants/bars nearby as well as retail outlet an closeness to i95, relevant to me, just passin thru on my way back to Miami and flight back to uk, will stay again....
Older property just off I95 freeway so very easy to find. Opposite the hotel are the Palm Beach Outlet Malls with all the shops you need. Have to drive a little way to the centre of town so a car is required. Rooms are well maintained and there is a nice swimming pool in the middle of the hotel grounds. Free breakfast and parking so good value option for this area.
overall the hotel is alright, due to that it's renovating part of the rooms. we've selected this hotel because of its location, it's close to the airport, yet there're many restaurants and shopping centers to choose from near by. However, the shower faucet in the bathtub didn't work properly, also the hot water is not consistent. the breakfast wasn't that good, everyday is the same food. the bed & pillows is not that comfortable. the internet is kind of slow. The best part of the hotel is the swimming pool, which is very relaxing and nicely decorated.
Easy check-in and warm greeting from front desk agent Ron-- at the rate quoted ! On busy highway but no traffic sounds inside lobby, room or pool. Very clean, staff very friendly, wonderful breakfast, and a reasonable rate for two , to and from port $35. Van ride with Harry was enjoyable and he is a careful driver. Large mall across the street and Target on Hotel's side a block down. Pei-Wei and other fine restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel with reasonable rate and great service.
Love this place! I travel a lot and stay in hotels at least once a month. Whenever I come to West Palm beach, I always stay at this Best Western. The Manager, Teslyn, is ever accommodating and super attentive. I highly recommend this clean, comfortable and relaxing hotel! One of the best!
Don't judge a book by its cover. We were skeptical when first arriving when we saw construction workers remodeling rooms with lots of trashy debris around. But our stay couldn't have been nicer. The hotel made sure that the workers were completed with their noisy work and cleanup before 4:00 and didn't begin again until after 9 a.m. The pool area was lovely with lots of fun things to do. We were put into a Jr Suite which was huge with two separate bathrooms and a nice sitting area. The hotel paid attention to our special health/allergy needs and had made sure to prevent problems from occurring. The breakfast buffet was delicious with varied choices.
We used this hotel as a one night stopover on the way to Miami, and being right next to the I-95 it was ideal. Lots of useful stores close by, including an outlet mall across the road. The rooms are arranged around a very attractive pool area. Complimentary breakfast, simple but OK. Comfortable beds, good sized rooms, would definitely recommend .
An outstanding hotel. The entire staff goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Clean rooms, great breakfast and a beautiful pool area. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel is close to everything in Palm Beach. An Outlet's Mall across the street for your shopping pleasure.
We've stayed here several times over the last 4 years, due to my daughter attending college there. We are always pleased. They do have some remodeling going on right now, but didn't interfere with our stay.
This hotel is clean, comfortable, great staff and a beautiful pool area. The hotel is located close to everything with an Outlet's Mall directly across the street. Very good breakfast with great coffee. Lots of variety for everyone. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
My family has stayed at your hotel several times while visiting our daughter at college in West Palm Beach. We come back again and again. The continental breakfast is the best we've ever had at any hotel in the US! The staff is exceptionally nice. We love the dining area and the pool. We appreciate all the updates you are making to your rooms. And the grounds are so well kept. We have enjoyed being able to shop at the new outlet mall across the street. Sadly, every time we have visited, the noise level (not counting the street noise;we understand that's uncontrollable at your location) has been intolerable. Any way you can institute a "quiet" policy after 10?
The Best Western is located directly opposite the Palm Beach Outlet stores which is very convenient for bargain shopping. The rooms are tired but we noticed that refurbishment was taking place on the ground floor so hopefully all rooms will be done soon. The shuttle service and airport pick up worked well and all of the staff were excellent. The garden area is very pleasant and breakfast was fine, the dining area was very crowded on our second morning though. Overall the hotel is excellent value for money - we would stay again.
Working on the PGS tour, I was able to book this hotel and found the landscape to be AMAZING. The food selection was good but average. Huge Outlet Shopping center right across the street. Whole foods and many other food options to chose from . 10 minutes away from local Golf Corse.
I arrived here the day before taking a cruise to the Bahamas. This property is super clean. My room had a microwave oven, a small refrigerator, wonderful lighting, and numerous electrical outlets. The complimentary breakfast, offering an array of standard items, was quite adequate. The main decor in my room consisted of two large lovely abstracts. Oddly the paintings were identical. This hotel is located across the street from Palm Beach outlets--over 100 stores and a number of restaurants. A large Target next door can be accessed without crossing a street. hotel staff is quite pleasant and attentive. I found the hotel's shuttle drivers to be very friendly and helpful. Should I return to West Palm Beach some day I will definitely stay at this Best Western
There pool area is just a great place to kick back and forget your worries. They have a communal grill, pool, shuffle board, and patio area. All of that is nestled between the different hotel room buildings making the whole thing feel secluded. The front desk is very polite and helpful. Right by whole foods market and target. Over all I was extremely satisfied by my stay. I would absolutely stay there again!
Overall was a good experience right in the heart of all the shopping and great location for all the beaches.the weather was beautiful during our stay.the staff were really nice.the continental breakfast could have bacon as an option.
The hotel was a little bit older style, but as we were departing they were already starting room renovations. The court yard is perfect to relax and enjoy the games, pool and entertaining areas. THe rooms were clean and even had a mini fridge and microwave. Price was very resonable and they accomodated the people attending the Sunfest music festival with vans to shuttle you back and forth. I will be returning next year for sure.!
This wasn't a bad hotel & I will call it average. We had a good price. But this hotel has rooms facing the very nice inside coutyard & the very bland parking lot. Our first room was on the parking lot. I say our first room because we had to be moved. Right after we got in & turned on the bathroom light it started emitting smoke & the room filled with the smell. The management was quick in moving us to one of the inside courtyard rooms. Things would have been fine from this point eccept my wife & I returned to our room late the next night & found both our keycards had deactivated. Again, this was swiftly addressed, but we didn't have an uneventful stay. The hotel is located across the street from a big shopping center with many stores & restaurants, which will appeal to many people. They do have a shuttle to the West Palm Beach Airport. The breakfast was good. So they do offer good amenities for the price.
This is an old style motel. Dated decor but clean with a helpful desk staff. Breakfast is OK too and it's free. The problem is that the pool hours are not policed so that noise can be a problem, plus smokers and chatters sit around and the door to your room is not soundproof. Being an old motel, the corridors are concrete and housekeeping trundle their laundry trolleys early in the morning and in the evening, so sleep can be problematic. My advice is to ask for aroom overlooking the parking and not the pool
No hassle hospitality seems to be their specialty. Our three day stay was trouble-free, comfortable and fun. We had a dog with us, and I would have loved a little more green area to walk her, but I can see that they simply have no more room. Everyone was nice, the room was fine - and clean - and we will stay there again.
Check in was fast. Comfortable bed and room was clean. Rooms are simple but will do for a short stay. Breakfast had a good combo of hot and cold choices and also some fruit. Hotel is very close to I-95, so it is easy to go to and from many tourist friendly spots in the Pal Beach area.
I had another great stay in WPB at the best western. They have fantastic rooms, great pool, good food, a GREAT meeting room for my ServSafe classes and you can walk to eating/drinking/shopping places. the rates are very good and the staff is very friendly!
The only issue we had was at check in. We had asked for a quiet room. As Gold Card members, we were refused a change of room. Were put on the ground floor, very close to the main highway. Typically BW staff are very good and put us in a quiet room. Desk clerk was less than helpful or caring.
The hotel common areas are beautiful and very well maintained. We had a nice room on the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The pool area is lovely. The hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel is located convenient to good restaurants and shopping, both within walking distance of the hotel. If we return to West Palm Beach, we would definitely choose this hotel again.
From arrival to departure it was a wonderful experience. easy check in. Clean ,comfortable and well equiped room. Pool was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding. Great waffle maker plus fruit, cereal, breads etc.
Nice location for food, shopping and the interstate. Room was nothing special although the bed was very comfortable. Bath vent fan did not work. Our room did not recieve service during our 2 night stay. WIFI did not work the entire stay.
Older hotel but completely updated. Beautiful grounds and pool. This is a vintage hotel but it is well cared for, it is nice to see an older property with a bit of charm, able to keep up with the new places around.
Can't wait to go again. Great service and excellent location just across the mall, surrounded by multiple restaurants and close to the highway. Fun to wine down by the pool. Good for business and pleasure. Very clean and well kept.
Breakfast, WiFi, Fridge and Microwave - next door to Target/Whole Foods and a lot more. Very convenient access to Convention Center... Would recommend for a nice stay with access to a lot. Great outdoor area for relaxing by the pool - grill/lawn games - very well kept. Looks like they renovated recently and has a nice modern touch.
This hotel was clean, breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. Staff was nice. Right off the interstate, so you could hear the cars. Only two exits away from the road to the Barrett-Jackson auction. Only problem we had was with key entry to our room. Kept having trouble getting the door open - sometimes took several tries, and a few times had to re-key at front office.
Excellent hotel for my one night stay. I wish I had more time to spend in this lovely hotel. The breakfast was hot and fresh, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was so very hospitable! Since I was traveling alone, I always ask for an escort to an outside room. The security guard even carried my bag up two flights of stairs for me! Ron, the clerk who handled my checkout, was as friendly as could be! I definitely recommend staying there and hope to be back soon!
the hotel is location is fantastic for me and the staff and common ares are always kept up.although i used the breakfast option only once it was quite enjoyable it seemed very quiet for the time of year i was there although the hotel was at full capicity
Catch up on the great outdoors in this hotel. Lovely pool in the courtyard, nice garden and landscaping. Opposite the Palm Beach outlet mall and very close to a super target. Hotel could do with renovations as rooms have started aging. Very children friendly so as you guess it can be extremely noisy. Don't come here if you are looking for quiet. Overall a nice place to stay for a few days in the Palm beach area.
Very comfortable with good facilities. Right across the street from Whole Foods and an outlet mall. Excellent connections to Route 95 and major roads in West Palm Beach. My only complaint is that the bathroom lacked towel bars and the toilet paper was at an awkward position.
Great prices, good service, decent breakfast and pool. A little old but they work to make things right! Although they need a bar. No liquor or drinks available at all! : No workout room either...This is really behind the times!
Very nice place to stay and near the outlet mall. There is Target, Red Robin Restaurant and Another nice restaurant across the street. Breakfast was good and was nice sitting outside on the outside patio.
Our second floor room overlooking the courtyard was very nice and quiet. The rooms were very quiet and we never heard the room next to us, as is the case in newer properties. Room was cleaned each day, fresh towels and a warm greeting from the staff.
The courtyard and pool are beautiful - indicating that this was once a very nice hotel. The rooms show their age, however. Temperature was either freezing or stuffy with no in between. Bathtub dripped hot water constantly. Did have an in room mini-fridge which was nice.
They will go out of their way to welcome you. You are welcomed with a great smile and I feel that they take the time to know who I am. I believe that they will correct all issues as the staff is one of the best I have encountered. They do not brush you off and are very considerate.
This hotel is very easy to get in and out of. It is also very close to shopping and food. There is a gas station immediately next door for convenience as well. The convenience makes the price more than worth it!
Front Desk man was very polite and professional. Hotel was clean and well maintained and close to outlet mall stores.Target was next to hotel and we could walk to it whenever we needed something. I will return to this hotel again in the future.
I love this place every year I stay in the same hotel. But this time I noticed something different that really bother me , the manager Marisel was so mean to the housekeeping employees she would scream at them. But everything else was perfect. the housekeeping staff was really nice and the food was great. Hopefully they change that manager because she's ruining that place .
We like this hotel because it is close to Jupiter, where the Cardinals play, close to Juno Beach and close to other Palm Beach attractions. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean and the pool area is fabulous. Even though there is an outlet mall across the street and a Target next door, we felt away from the world when we were in the pool area.
Walking out the room door you have a sudden and unexpected step down. This was a trip hazard that lead to an ankle injury. The room did not have a work table nor sufficient outlets to plug in phones or computers to charge. This hotel is an older property and shows it's age. Room rate is way out of line with the quality of room and service.
Very pleasant stay! The courtyard is large and the many chaises and chairs helps one not to feel confined as one often feels in some hotel chains. Breakfast really good as were the staff and shuttle driver.
Overall, the stay was better than I hoped for. The rooms are in desperate need of a refresh but the courtyard pool was better than average and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good and location was excellent for getting to spring training games.
This is my third stay at this hotel for business and normally I am in an outside facing room, this trip I was given a pool view room and the experience is completely different. The courtyard where the pool is located is beautiful and well groomed. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy an afternoon or evening, playing chess on the oversized chess board, relaxing in the covered gazebo or sitting poolside on one of the many sitting areas complete with umbrellas and small tables. The hotel itself is very old and has no elevators so if you have problems with stairs, you really need to let them know that you want a bottom floor room. The rooms are nicely appointed and every room I have had has been equipped with a refrigerator and small microwave. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the groundskeepers, they offer their assistance with whatever you are doing; the only hotel I have ever stayed in where a person from housekeeping offered to help me with my bag. I already booked this hotel for my next trip to the area next week, maybe I'll see you there.
We stayed here Feb. 16-22, 2016. The grounds and pool area are beautiful! Staff was wonderful as well. Check-in was efficient and there is adequate free parking. Our room was on the first floor, poolside. We did not expericen any noise from other rooms, although the garderners were working quite early in the morning. The room was fine; clean, spacious, with a mini-fridge and microwave. The location was good with a brand new outlet mall right aross the road. The complimentary breakfast was just fine. All in all a good stay.
I normally travel to West Palm Beach on business once or twice per year. In the past I have stayed typical "business hotels" such as the Embassy Suites or Hilton. This time due to a no-notice trip during WPB's "high season", I ended up at the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes - what a pleasant surprise! We had a pool-side room on the second floor It was not terribly fancy, but was nicely appointed and very clean, with a recently remodeled bathroom. The most outstanding aspect of our stay was the staff. Without exception every person we dealt with - Front Desk, Housekeepers, Maintenance crew, servers at the breakfast buffet and the Daytime Manager were extremely pleasant, friendly, helpful and welcoming. A minor issue with the lighting in our room was attended to immediately and efficiently. The included breakfast bar was very good with menu items that changed daily. The location adjacent to the WPB Outlet Mall and easy access to I-95 and the FL Turnpike makes it very convenient. The outdoor spaces, gardens, pool-area, covered patios with comfortable chairs make your "off-time" very relaxing. When it comes time to book my next business trip to WPB I will definitely return to the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes!
Property reminded me of the old travel motel one would find on the old US-1 on the pre-95 way to south Florida. Owner is proud of property and it is reflected in the well kept courtyard gardens, each tropical plant is marked with its country of origin. Staff is large and friendly. A nice stay, reasonablely priced stay, which included breakfast. Not near the beach but right off of I-95 for quick access.
Very professional and friendly staff that really seem to enjoy being there. This is an older property that has been very well maintained and updated. Nice courtyard area with pool and gazebos. Great location right off 95 across from the mall.
Good location next to the palm beach outlets. We had a room on the ground floor near the pool, good shower and in room wi fi and facilities such as coffee maker and iron. What set this hotel aside for me was that for the £85 a night we paid the quality of the breakfast was extremely high. Hot options such as egg, sausage, biscuits, waffles, oatmeal. Cold options such as yoghurts, fresh fruit, cereals and a good array of breads and different flavour bagels. I especially liked the blueberry flavour. Had coffee and a choice of 3 juices as well. Try the guava juice. Parking was ample and was located all around the hotel. No security issues and the staff were plentiful and polite. Pool was nice and there was always plenty of space around it. For the price we paid we thought it immense value.
For the price this place was great! I did a lot of searching and this was the best price and what you got with it. It's not the greatest location, but it's not the worst either. Even though it's close to the road, you could barely hear the traffic going passed. Also it's set up like a motel, doors on the outside rather than in a hotel. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and the grounds were well kept! Also the breakfast was delicious.
My husband and I stayed for two nights while on a birding trip to Loxahatchee, Wacodahatchee Wetlands and Green Cay, all great locations and accessible to my 4 wheel scooter. Usually the least pleasant part of a birding trip is the overnight stay. Hotels say they have handicap rooms and you end up with three steps between you and your room,or bathtubs or high beds., These are all obstacles for me, a severely gait-impaired MS person who on a good day uses a rollator and typically uses a scooter or battery powered wheelchair. The Best Western was the best location i have ever enjoyed. There was a curbless shower in the bathroom and the room was just off the lobby very close to the little breakfast they offer, room 106. it's such a simple thing but to be able to take a good, safe shower after being out all day is a wonderful thing! Since it was pouring down rain when we arrived it was also lovely that we could pull under cover to unload. i did book in advance to secure the handicap room. Then the day before we left to go over to the east coast I realized I had only booked the one night instead of two. I called, talked to a couple people and did get the room for both nights. Every person I had contact with was friendly and helpful. When I was in front of my door trying to get the keycard to work a young man who worked there saw me and just veered in my direction and helped me even though he was headed to do something else. My husband went to look for towels since we were getting up so early and a very nice young lady helped him even though she was just coming in the building and didn't even have her jacket and purse put down yet. Nice people! I hope to go to Wacodahatchee Wetlands every year for my birthday, it's all boardwalk and lots of birds. Now I know I have a place to stay that's just perfect for me. I am one happy birder! ps BJ's across the street was nice casual for dinner and if there's a long line you can go in a door to the left of the main entrance, order take out and get it in 20 minutes. That shopping area also has a Whole Foods and a Publix if you need anything else, a very handy location! confirmation number 112899
We stayed here for 2 nights, we chose on price and it is what it is. It was ok, very dated, fairly clean. The pool area looked nice and it's very close to the I95 and a big shopping mall. Free breakfast is OK. If you're out and about all day it's a reasonably priced place to sleep at an expensive time of year.
This hotel was disappointing it has no elavator, you have drag your bags up the stairs. The breakfast was the poorest I have ever seen. As a major hotel chain I was not impressed. Best Western so be embarrassed regarding this property.
We stayed 1 night on 3/4/16, hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and professional. There were a few minor things like the bathroom had some paint chipping and soap holder was in need of repair. The grounds are beautiful and clean, the pool is suppose to be heated but was only luke warm. Other then that really can't complain, breakfast was good and the hotel is next door to a target and across the street from a shopping area with restaurants. Everything is close and you can walk to which is very nice, also really easy to get to the highway which is approx. 1/4 mile away. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel!
We stayed here for a week during spring break, and it was a lovely surprise. The room was tidy with new furnishings, the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, and the grounds felt like we'd escaped from the surrounding hustle and bustle and stepped into a little resort. Our 6-year-old insists the hotel pool was the best part of the trip. The only minor critiques I have are for the carpet and bathroom, which could soon use an upgrade (the bathroom is quite small if you're more than 1 person in the room). A big thank you to the reception staff, the wonderful and welcoming staff in the breakfast area, and all your helpful shuttle drivers. We felt right at home.
Hotel filled to capacity, staff was accommodating. Room rather dated but clean. Nice breakfast choices. They should change layout of breakfast stations the flow through was rather over crowded. Young woman in charge was helpful.
This hotel was well placed to the beach and close to all the action of South Beach. Great restaurants close by, I would recommend this one for get away or vacation time, I was tripping through on Biz. Felt safe while walking around and even rented a City bike to cover more ground.
We fell for this hotel, the people are really nice and helpful, for breakfast they offer a nice spread. The rooms were nicely cleaned, the beds felt so comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely return!!
Little Old Beauty...Very nice room, with a great comfy bed, very clean, and spacious. The only complaint , was the toilet. When you sat down on the toilet , if felt like you was falling off, it was very loose from the floor. That is why I did not give 5 stars....Micheal, who checked me in , was amazing, very friendly, and very thankful for us staying there.. You would have thought he was the owner, as he treated us that way.. Thank you Micheal for the hospitality ..Will be staying here on our next visit
I had a room that was well used over the years. It was clean and everything worked properly. The TV was a flat screen and the bathroom had been renovated over the last couple years. I was not crazy about the breakfast. It was very basic. The one thing that I did not agree with, was the fact that they charged a $100 deposit that they said would be removed in 3-5 business days. I will be checking to make sure it has been removed. Location was convenient to I-95 and Malls as well as some good restaurants nearby. I feel it was overpriced for the quality but it is peak season.
Staff were very attentive in particular, the breakfast crew who kept the area immaculate, fresh, & well-stocked with a variety of continental breakfast fare. Rooms, although a bit outdated, were clean and well kept. The pool area is spectacular ! Very inviting and relaxing. Would definately request a pool side view room with mini patio in front of it next visit.
We had the opportunity to stay here during an extended long weekend in Florida. It's location is great. It allowed us a easy commute to all the activities we had planned and was a short walk to the Palm Beach Outlets and restaurants. It had a great 70's throw back feel with the pool and shuffle board in the courtyard area. The staff was very good and the room clean and comfortable.
The WPB Best Western was an older motel, but appeared in good condition, although an refresh of carpet and décor would be helpful soon. It was clean and beds were comfortable. It was during the snow bird season so value was not real good, but was competitive with other similar grade hotels in the area. I stayed twice in the same location and if needed would use it again.
To my surprise, I walked through the lobby into a beautiful oasis around a good sized pool, palm trees, and loungers. I did not expect this from a hotel set on a main thoroughfare. And, it's across the street from the Palm Beach Outlet Mall! Their Chef Richard served an excellent buffet with cocktails. Very nice, great price, and very hospitable staff!
We stayed for a family reunion and were pleasant surprised how neat the hotel is. Being close to the City Place, restaurants and outlet was a major plus. We had a total of 3 rooms, the bed sheets were crisp and white, bath rooms renovated and clean. The full, hot breakfast was great and with seating areas around the pool and courtyard it was very relaxing. We will be back !
Highly recommended, staff is welcoming and friendly; room was comfortable, clean and totally functional; geographic area is to my liking (secure and nonthreatening area). The outdoor pool was inviting but, was to cold for me to swim.
Initially got a room that was pet friendly. Since I have a strong sense of smell I was not liking that room. Front desk staff was very helpful and polite and switched our room to one facing courtyard and pool. Significantly better! Breakfast each morning quite popular so get there early. Across the street from brand newish outlet shopping which has dozens of the better stores you could want. For someone like me I could actually live there full time!
Its an older hotel. Built in the 1960s. You can see how this piece of real-estate has watched many seasons pass. The courtyard for the pool area is very nice. Fresh plantings, areas to read or be away from the crowd. Rooms are small, bathroom was 4'10" long. You put your foot in the toilet getting out of the shower. Fridge and microwave in the room. Beds new and comfortable. Limits on how much you can plug in. Working at the desk I had to unplug the lamp to charge my laptop. Breakfast was included in the price. On the two days I was there the only hot food was waffle or oatmeal. I found no eggs. So if your a family or person just visiting the area, this would be an affordable location. Its across from a mall and many restaurants. As a business traveler, its ok. Not bad , just older in room size from todays for the same price.
This is the best kept value secret! It is across from the PB Outlets, with many restaurant options. The freeway is easy access to everywhere, or head east to the many coast options. Our room was clean and serviced daily. It had a mini fridge and microwave to accommodate our leftovers & snacks. The free hot breakfast was great, and included waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, bagels, etc. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We will return!
Made the reservation very last minute for a wedding and hated hearing how high the rate was but as we shopped around a little, realized it was the best deal in town. Had the chance to see inside the local Days Inn and Red Roof+ (other wedding guests stayed there) and our room at the Best Western was both nicer and cheaper than both of those.
Everything was excellent. Loved the courtyard and pool area. Room was nice, breakfast was good each day, and hot coffee all day and night. The staff was very helpful and friendly, this includes everyone from sales, front desk, housekeeping, breakfast attendants and maintenance. Great location to beaches, outlet mall across street and close to fairgrounds. Also good restaurants in walking distance. Was there for three week stay and enjoyed it!!! Will definitely stay again.
Overall great experience. We asked to move our room to a quieter location upon arrival and they were very accommodating. Staff was helpful, room was always cleaned and breakfast was just right. Would love to go again when the weather is a little bit warmer so I could take advantage of the great pool area. Highly recommend!
Great pool. Pleasant heated pool and pool area. Comfortable beds. Nice clean rooms in main part of the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonable complimentary breakfast. Convenient parking. Across the road from a huge outlet complex including Wholefood Store. Would stay again.
Made the mistake of booking a business trip during the middle of a convention, every room for 15 miles was sold out or $300+ called this hotel and they were great got me a room and a good rate. The room was nice recently remodeled, the courtyard and pool area were charming. The hotel was centrally located and quiet, would definitely book again.
I thought this would be a low end hotel but was clean, comfortable with good amenities and great location. The staff was exceptional and on the ball. The grounds were impeccably kept up with staff constantly either doing touch up painting, landscaping or just keeping the location tip top.
We only stayed there one night but that was enough to get a good idea of it. We arrived early and they let us check-in early which was very nice since we were tired. The people at the front desk were very nice and willing to help. It was a pretty dreary day but since it was our last one in Florida we decided to check out their pool which is heated. We were the ONLY ones in the pool but it was quite nice and well taken care of as are all the grounds. Our room was a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable and that really is all I care about. The only bad part of the stay was the people they allowed into the room next door...middle-aged partiers who were blaring their music and standing around outside their room having full blown conversations while smoking. I don't mind smoke, I used to smoke but when the threat of being charged $150 for smoke smell in the room I wasn't very happy to have it wafting in through the AC. We went outside at one point hoping to make them aware that there were people next door but since that made no impression we had to call the front desk to report them :/ The night watchperson hadn't arrived yet so we had to wait about 20 more minutes for them to come and settle down the partiers. After the security person left the people next door kept banging on things outside and we were genuinely worried about what they might be doing but were also afraid to call the front desk again. Not an experience I'd care to repeat.
This is an older hotel that is kept up well. Pool and outside areas are very nice and very good spaces to read and relax outside as well. Room was a bit stale in the smell area but nothing that would affect my stay. Breakfast was simple and adequate and location is right next to i95 and an easy ride to clematis st. Great value as far as I'm concerned! Also has a laundry room!
Stayed 1 night in Dec. Located next to a big mall. Room was just OK, smell was bad because of humidity. Check in was quick. Rooms to the pool are noisy, especially when people walk and talk same time. Bathroom very old and with poor shower experience. It seems the Management does not take care of the hotel renovation. I would not return.
Chose the hotel for an overnight on our way from West Palm to Sebastian. Close to airport. They do have a shuttle if you don't have a car. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Nice free breakfast. While we didn't use it the pool looked very nice. Hotel would work well for a longer stay as the outdoor amenities were very nice!
Grounded by a cancelled flight, this hotel was offered by the airlines I had a ticket for. The hotel had pretty grounds, some construction work was being done by the pool but did not appear to interfere with using the pool. The room itself was spacious, and very clean. It was not connected to the main building but instead on the 2nd floor, motel style. I did not see an elevator and I took the steps. I did notice a few of the very small kind of ants in the bathroom but was not a reflection of its condition. The room had a small fridge and a microwave. The television was flat screened. I noticed there were many stores in the area as well as restaurants as the property is located on a very busy street. I had pizza delivered. In the morning, I left before breakfast was served due to catching a flight. My only complaint was that there appeared to a small space between the door and the floor to come in. Otherwise I was impressed by the hotel.
OMG we got to WPB and found that the hotel we originally booked was 30 minutes from where we needed to be. We switched to this hotel after one night, and I'm so glad we did! This place is 5 min from everything- downtown, airport, shopping, and 10 min from a great beach. Teslyn at the front desk was fantastic! Friendly, funny and very helpful. We were way early for check-in and our room wasn't quite ready. She promised it was worth waiting for and it was. Clean, comfortable, and serviced each day while we were at breakfast. She even followed up with us to be sure we were comfortable. She made us feel right at home...add that to the great location and you can't miss booking here!
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff are exceptional! Their shuttle service is a bonus and made it very easy to get around. Their complementary breakfast was well presented and lots of everything. The location is right across from a mall with lots of restaurants in the area. We would not hesitate to stay again!
Ever since becoming acquainted with Best Western Hotel some years ago, my husband Doug & I decided this is the hotel for us whenever we are away from home. We were so comfortable here, it just made us feel as we were in our own home. Having the breakfast right there in the hotel was awesome.
Staying here is so lovely the staff made my boyfriend and I feel so relaxed and they're extremely helpful with directions and advice . They make our day! i recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in west palm beach .. The location is PERFECT ! It's right in the center of every store you can think of and highway 95 . Breakfast is good in the morning waffles bagels everything :) the nice relaxing porch in the back of the hotel with the gardens and cozy set up makes you feel right at home !!!! Rooms : clean and have a mini fridge and microwave . Comfortable beds as well . Parking is also free which is cool if you drove down here or rented a car like us . Just overall impressed by best western here in west palm beach . You will not regret your stay here ??
5 adult family members stayed together in a large room with 2 bathrooms, called a junior suite. For $190 before taxes, it was a bit pricey. Outside corridors and rather old, lower end infrastructure. It was hard to find outlets for electronics. The breakfast was above the expected continental. A nice enough place, and if we needed sleeping for 5, I'd stay there again.
The staff was friendly and so polite. they told me where the places to shop were ... I didn't see the shopping mall because it was night but it was across the street. My room was very clean and the grounds and pool area were well kept and very beautiful. they have lounge chairs all around the grounds so you have other options than sitting by the pool and you can have your breakfast outside..... the breakfast was so good and it was a full hot breakfast. Yum oh the location is great and you can walk to the grocery store, target, restaurants and off course the 2 malls across the street and this Best Western is just off the freeway
Great place, the driver very nice, very clean, staff is friendly,BJ Brewhouse is excellent place to eat, pool very clean, laundry area works great, vending machines work, breakfast was good the grounds are very clean and well keeped.
We are BW Rewards customers so put priority on a BW. The location was near the University we were visiting. BW was clean, attractive, breakfast was more than adequate, breakfast room clean. The pool/patio area was extremely attractive and large plus the Meditation Garden was an surprise asset. Room was small but clean with good quality linens, comfortable beds
Loved staying at this exceptionally clean and lovely hotel. Friendly staff all round. Not a downside but, a mention, that the free breakfast is just the typical fare. Easy walk to good restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay here again
The location and area is quite convenient and nice however be aware that this hotel does NOT place a hold on your account for the deposit, they take the money out of your bank account and then it takes days for the bank to return it after check out. If you are on a budget please know you will have less money in the bank if you stay here at least for a couple of days. The other thing Is the room smells moldy and the bed sheets were sticky. Front desk staff was a mixed combination, nice gentleman smiles a lot and then a very tall lady who seems quite annoyed, unfriendly and bothered at being asked questions. I was thankful for the customer service provided by the gentleman.
I seed here last minute and ended up with a room on the back side of the hotel that had an exterior door. The room smelled like someone else smoked it and moisture smell or combination. There were a lot of what appeared to be workers from out of the area staying here, probably because it was cheap. Don't go here with your wife or girlfriend to get away. The positive....price, but I would rather spend more and be comfortable
Yes it's a clean hotel and clean room. Reception staff are alright. But i find it way over priced for a 2 star accommodation. At the current rate of $170 a night. The breakfast has an extremely poor selection. Kind of odd how the breakfast area is situated in the lobby. Wifi is decent. The rooms are semi modern. Close to a few shops and restaurants within walking distance which is good. The toilet was running on and off which makes a sound. It's a problem that can be fixed but didn't want to go to the lengths of doing that. The AC runs ok but quite loud running compared to standard ACs. Had someone knock on my room door at 2am twice. Not sure who it was but left by the time I got there as I was half asleep. Also had the neighbour next to me try and open the connecting door to my room at 3am...perhaps thinking it was an extension of their room. That also woke me. Pillows were also pretty firm. Used to soft pillows. Locals seem quite happy with the place but perhaps it's my high and picky English standards? :p
We had an overnight trip to West Palm Beach to meet friends for dinner. This hotel is very near 95. I had checked it on Trip Advisor before booking and we were pleased with our choice. The courtyard pool area is the highlight of the place and I asked for a quiet room facing the pool. The water in the pool was cool as its not headed. We were told that it was a newly refurbished room when we checked in. We had a substantial breakfast outside the next morning. we would stay again.
The room/bath were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location was in close proximity to everything we wanted to visit. The hotel exceeded everything we expected.
i most likely would not have stayed here if i had known it was the same place i visited before. but i am very happy this time. they have really improved the place much claener and updates everywhere. they are currently painting the pool area and the courtyard is perfect for a relaxing evening. the price is extremely reasonable for the quality you get i will be back on purpose this time
This was an a quaint hotel with a huge courtyard and patio/pool area that contained some incredible old plants and well cared for grounds. It was also decorated for Xmas which made our stay even more fun. Lots of places to relax inside and out with gazebos, rockers on the porch and a big hospitality tent just off the patio. Our room was on ground level with a nice view of the courtyard. We did have a drain problem 1 nite, but they had someone come within 10 minutes and install new drain in shower in 1/2 and hour.
BW - West Palm has added "real" fried eggs to the breakfast menu, has good fresh fruit, yogurt, and hot fresh to make waffles among other items such as hot oatmeal. I stay at hotels all over the US for business purposes. In my opinion this is the best of the BW chain for overall "bang for the buck". Congrats to the management team for their improvements in both the room accommodations and the breakfast service. Diamond Elite Member - WK
We stayed one night at the BW Palm Beach Lakes. It's walking distance to the outlet mall, so great for shopping trips. The property is beautiful. There is a lovely courtyard with a pool and areas to hang out and enjoy the nice weather. The room was very clean, quite lovely and the bed was really comfortable. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. And Bill the GM is a great guy! We will most definitely be back!
very nice hotel. pool is ovely as well as buffet breakfast they serve for free. staff very nice. this hotel does not offer an elevator so if you stay and can not do stairs let them know. hotel is across the street from an outlet mall as well as 1 block away from major highways.
Every staff member went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable and memorable. Rick Netzel the Director of Sales is amazing. Professionalism to the highest degree. Richard and the other staff member in the breakfast area made sure I was enjoying my breakfast each morning. They had a pleasant smiles and cared about each guest as well as other staff members. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
good location, excellent friendly staff, appearance and upkeep very good. very clean and a fair value for the area. breakfast items good . seemed fairly safe.close to the interstate good good good , will stay again as in the past
We stayed at this hotel while visiting family for a few days. We had things stolen from our room twice. The only thing management did to help was to call the police for us. They were unhelpful and clearly insincere with fake sympathy that had much more to do with avoiding trouble for themselves than in assisting their guests. Avoid this place at all cost!!!!
We were very HAPPY with our 3 night stay at the Best Western, nice chic decor, friendly Debra at the front desk, room was clean and comfortable, only complaint was the down pillows, as down is not a choice of everyone, especially my family of 3, pillows were very awkward shaped and uncomfortable, besides that we had a great stay, the location is perfect, everything is right there, outlet mall, Target, restaurants, the freeway, etc...Breakfast was very good, lots of selections, staff was very accomdating, there was another gal at the front desk but I did not take mention of her firstname, she gave me infomation on the Gardens Mall and us a map, we would def. stay here again in the future and for the $ we paid we got a great deal..keep up the GREAT job Best Western....
Stayed here two separate nights and would stay again if in this area. The rooms are large and comfortable, the amenities are good and it is close to shopping right across the street, food, and just off I95. Easy on and easy off. The staff is good. The poolside rooms are the quietest. Breakfast is good for a fast checkout. All in all a nice place to spend the night.
Had a great 2 nights at this hotel.Good breakfast with hot ( biscuits and gravy, eggs and waffles) and cold items( fresh fruit and yogurt). Next door to Target for quick shopping. Only issue was getting out of parking lot in heavy traffic.
The rooms are basic and clean bed was comfortable. Forget the breakfast but Starbucks is across the road!!! Great location right by outlet mall. My family and I visited Lion country safari and did a last minute booking for the night as we were all tired. You basically get what you pay for "Average service"
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds and pool are were well kept. It is also very close to any amenity that you could imagine. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in or near West Palm Beach.
Was pleasantly surprised with the hotel for the price. Will be booking for next year. The location, for us, was very suitable for our needs. The price was right; however, due to the time of our departure, we did not get to enjoy the breakfast.
I have been visiting this hotel annually for ten years, and it is always a pleasant stay. There have been many very recent updates in the rooms, lobby and outdoor areas which add to guest comfort. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always make us feel at home. The courtyard around the pool is the highlight of the property - there are tables, lounge chairs and gazebos for relaxing and socializing; and shuffle boards, outdoor workout equipment and patches of grass for recreation as well as the clean and beautiful pool in the center. The plantings in the courtyard and around the hotel property are nicely maintained and labeled so you can learn about local flora as well! The Best Western Palm Beach Lakes is in a great location in West Palm Beach, right off of I-95, next door to a Target and across the street from the new (very popular) outlet center. It is easy to access downtown West Palm Beach and the beach itself in Palm Beach via car. Our company stays here every year, and we always have a great experience; we would never think of staying anywhere else!
Truly a 5 star hotel with the warmest and most attentive staff. I can't wait to return and enjoy what I believe is the best hotel you can stay in. The beds were so comfortable and the facilities were awesome. Homemade waffles in the morning was icing on the cake!
Very well maintained with excellent staff and accommodations. Constantly upgrading to make things better and better. Extremely well located to shopping and restaurants with a van available for transportation. JanH
Stayed 1 night, easy to find and near airport. Reception spacious and staff very helpful. Good location near restaurants and attractions. Room large and clean 2 beds, TV flat screen, seating area, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Bathroom clean and toiletries. Breakfast good selection, hot and cold food, juice fresh fruit, Danish donuts, toast sausage. Free WIFI good. Plenty car parking. Would stay again
The lobby of the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. However, our room was dusty, had cobwebs on the walls, and smelled musty and moldy. Although the bed was comfortable, I felt uncomfortable sleeping in it.
Good place to stay for work purposes. Bathrooms are small though. Close to shopping outlet and many places to eat. However, due to the outlet being so close, you can experience lots of traffic and noise.Parking area is decent.
We have stayed at this hotel before & their consistent excellence in all performance keeps us returning. The hotel has clean facilities, delicious hot/cold free breakfast, comfortable beds, & friendly personnel. Our stays there are everything we expected.
We visited West Palm for the Repticon Show since my boyfriend and I breed crested geckos and we needed a hotel for only a day. Best western received us even with my young puppy. The room was clean and even for smoking side it smelled like cigarettes but only at first. The breakfast was not so great but anything for free is awesome for anyone. We enjoyed very much our stay and my only complaint is on the high prices of the food delivery to the room but i guess that is my personal opinion. Great hotel
I picked this hotel because it was close to airport & hospital. My daughter had surgery so I was going back & forth to hospital. The room had a microwave & fridge, which helped during the 10 days. Also laundrymat on premises. Staff is extremely helpful. Across street is shopping, restaurants, grocery store. The pool area is really nice too.
This is our favorite 2nd stop after we land...1st stop is to pick up our car. We are always greeted with a FRIENDLY SMILE and a comfortable BED. This time we had a late arrival and were hungary. She offered to get us a Dinner delivery or if we rather go out..she suggested BJ's Grill across the street... We did the Grill..WOW, what a great meal and service. Then, back to our CLEAN and COMFORTABLE room!! Now, we have a plan for our next trip to FL. JET BLUE to Hertz to Best Western and across the street to BJ'S!! YES!!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on November 7 2015. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The room was very clean, and the bed was most comfortable. The location right across from Whole Foods allowed us to save on meals by walking across the street. I will always stay at this hotel when in the area.
Please see above info about Ms Debra (BULLY) & Mr. Boyd..(He said he was SECURITY???) Debra was shouting, would NOT allow me to get coffee or use computer. (I had told staff that I had a right to be here & that there was a better way to treat a Disabled Veteran. Better training is required for the 2 individual mentioned above. E. P.
we took a few trip to best western.the employees are beyond friendly.the rooms are very comfortable and the service is beyond great. This will always be my hotel when i go to west plam!! When we arrived at the airport .the hot bus shuttle was already waiting for us.gived us a friendly welcome. The bus took us within 5 miles and i enjoyed the bus drivers. They are the best
Good value, great location. The front desk did not have a list of nearby restaurants, which would have been helpful. The stairs at this hotel are a bit of a problem as there really aren't any handrails.
I just came back from staying at this hotel and I must say that the location is perfect. It is literally 1 min from the I95 and easily accessible. The area itself is great with Palm Beach Outlets across the street. Other stores are in very close proximity, and target is directly beside the hotel. The hotel itself was good. Check-in and out was good and all the staff (and guests) were pleasant! The room could use an upgrade, BUT is very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Pictures don't do the courtyard justice. I paid an extra $10 for a room facing the pool and courtyard and it was well worth it. The only complaint I have is that the rooms were not properly cleaned and the breakfast needs a bit more variety. Get there early for the best selection from what they do have. Overall, it was a great stay and a good value for what I paid. Keep in mind it is not 5 luxury and you will not be disappointed.
The room was clean and the location was good. The service was efficient and friendly, without being overbearing. What I expect as a business raveller, with no need for special frills. Parking right by the room, which was also great. My room was cheap, but was also not hte best room. The rooms facing the pool would be better.
Our home in West Palm Beach had extensive water damage while we were away on a trip. The BW Palm Beach Lakes Blvd became a refuge at the end of days of hard work. Staff was hospitable and kind when we were stressed. Rooms clean and comfortable though a bit dark on the ground floor (second floor is better.) There's a full hot breakfast, indoors or outdoors in the garden, with an unusually cheerful crew. The BW is an old Florida “grand motel,” newly renovated. In addition to the pool, the quirky central garden has a meditation space, an exercise space, an oversize chess board and a sapodilla tree. The new Palm Beach Outlets is across the street. The BW seems to be a stop for visiting youth groups as well as the ubiquitous Europeans. While we were there we met baseball teams, military recruits (one night only--good luck to them!) and actors performing at the Kravis center.
Stayed here last night. Excellent value. It's not The Ritz Carlton and anyone who thinks is should be for the price is clearly dumb! The rooms are large and clean, the bed very comfortable, the staff friendly, a good breakfast and a nice pool area so what more can you ask? Oh it is also walking distance from a great outlet mall and decent place to eat.
This best western has a bit of the flair of a vacation place not so much business and I did appreciate that, especially the setting around the pool is like in a small resort. Nicely done! And of course just crossing a street and be in an okay outlet mall and a great micro brewery (important for Germans) was nice, too.
We really enjoyed our stay @ this "Best Western Hotel", when we visit "West Palm Beach" every year!! Love the treatment by all of the staff & especially Ron, Pat, Richard, Boyd & Harry, great people & service by all of these above people!! Peter, Kathryn & Leila Curry (Nassau, Bahamas)
Amazing, Wonderful, Incredible, Awesome!!! There are not enough adjectives to descript what this hotel and its staff did for me and our daughter's special day. The staff was all AAAAA plus, each and everyone of them. And the prices is GREAT. It is a MUST stay place.
This was my second stay at the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes I was looking forward to an awesome stay like my first vacation last year same time. I travel each year to visit my beloved West Palm Beach U.S.A I live in Costa Rica and this trip each year back to West Palm means a lot to me and my girls. I had a booked reservation for 5 nights and was unable to book for the first 3 nights of my vacation because they were full due to a game in town, but I decided to stop in just in case they might have an available room for those first 3 days. I was not in luck so we had to find somewhere else to stay the first 3 nights. While I was there I requested a room facing the pool, ground floor same as my first trip last year which I loved because the view was great and we had a table and chairs in front of our room to relax in during the day. I also requested ground floor because they do not have elevators and with lots of luggage it would be too hard to go up and down the stairs. The front desk reception lady said she thought she could do that for me since people would be leaving and it would be ok. The day we came back there was someone else at the reception and they told me that they only had two rooms one upstairs and one room in back facing the parking lot which seemed unusual since the hotel was not full after the ball game. I told them I had requested a room prior in the end they gave me a room at the end of the building not out doors and with problems with the key lock which they had to fix. The Internet service was the worst I have ever experienced in any hotel I have ever stayed in absolutely no internet service not even in the front lobby, absolutely incredible that such a nice hotel doesn't have quality internet service they should invest in high quality service so the costumers don't have to leave the premises to find internet service. These experiences I had this time around really disappointed me I love this hotel but this time I do have to say they dropped one star on my favorite list. I hope next year when I return they can bend a little and make a costumer happy specially if they are coming from far away and want to enjoy their visit in U.S.A which is only once a year. Thanks Best Western hope things change next time.
I booked 4 nights here to attend a baseball tournament in nearby Jupiter. It was not a good experience. Upon checkout, I alerted the management to the many issues, and his response was, "Ok, thanks for letting us know." Subsequently, I received an email from the property manager (it was not, however, in response to my feedback, but rather, randomly generated) asking about my stay, and I provided the feedback below. I received no response. As such, I recommend avoiding this property at all cost. It is in dire need of upgrades...the stair case leading up to the second floor (there are NO elevators) hasn't been painted in years. It's just not a good value at all. Email sent to property: Below are the problems I encountered with my room during my stay: Bugs in my room The entry door wouldn't shut and the gap between the door and the jam allowed a lot of noise None of the outlets would hold our phone chargers (not to mention there were far too few outlets-most properties I stay at recognize the need to meet this deman and install additional outlets) The shower temperature varied wildly while showering, making a very uncomfortable experience The carpet was so dirty our feet were black after walking barefoot The light blocking drapes didn't block light very well and the super bright exterior lights illuminated the room making it hard to sleep. Breakfast shut down by 9:30 on Sunday--that is way too early. Who wants to get up at 9 on a Sunday? No exercise room? I have to drive down to another property (it was not easy to get to, either) to use a treadmill? There isnt a single area that could be converted to house a treadmill and elipitical machine and a few dumbbells? I am disappointed that I paid $100 a night for a room that was relegated to the back and clearly not given the attention as the nicer-appearing rooms around the pool. The rooms in the back felt like a cheap motel. Had I paid for that, well then ok, but I didn't. When I told the clerk of these issues upon checkout, I was not offered a thing to make up for it. I surely do plan on leaving a review on Trip Advsor, as I am a frequent reviewer on that site and want to warn travelers they should avoid this property. I have stayed in many Best Western properties (in fact, I stayed at the Miami airport location just the day prior to arriving at Palm Beach) and this does not match my experiences in those other properties by a long shot. Very, very disappointed.
This hotel is a little spot of heaven amidst the normal run of the mill chain hotels. The grounds were lovely with gazebos and water fountains and little seating areas laid out. The pool at the center of the garden was heated and was very welcome at the end of a long day of travel. I discovered this wonderful place for a business trip, but will return with my family to enjoy it to it's fullest.
Booked for three days but left after one because our room was dreary, smelled soggy and had ants in the bathroom. Hotel overall had a run down feel, but courtyard with pool area was quaint and was a good place to hang out. Tried to catch a ballgame on hotel lobby TV on night one but desk clerk was watching a movie and didn't want to change the channel of us--that's when we decided to book our final two nights elsewhere! Found newer, better hotel at about the same price down the road.
Hotel offers great service, wonderful grounds, amazing courtyard and clean, comfortable rooms. Couldn't ask for more; I'll be back. Staff was very helpful and I enjoyed walking around the paths to the meditation garden and patios very much. What a great place.
Stayed one night for a golf outing. Hotel has a retro feel, with all the modern amenities. courtyard/pool area is amazing. Covered lounge areas, gas grills, shuffle board court and a beautiful pool. The grounds are nicely landscaped with placards at all of the plants and trees describing names and place of origin, Free breakfast was as expected with make your own waffles, cereals, fruit and yogurts, Adequate and convenient. Rooms were on the small side and could use some sprucing up, but very clean. Staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating. Shopping and restaurants directly across the street. Excellent value for the money!
My husband and I planned a short romantic weekend to West Palm Beach. We were very pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism and kindness of staff, beauty of the property, van service to and from area attractions, and our lovely suite. We were amazed to receive such a package at a great price. We plan to make this hotel our official "Short Romantic Escape" whenever we are in town. Tiffany and Ismael Lopez
Clean Rooms, upscale appearance, great courtyard. The hotel provided comfort and seclusion form the surrounding areas. it is centrally located to many local eating establishments and entertainment areas, as well as shopping.
This hotel is a very clean and well managed property with a great location. The guest rooms have been recently re-modeled and the small refrigerator and microwave are great for business travelers. The hotel has a nice courtyard in the middle of complex which is great for relaxing after a long day.
This hotel is very nice, big pool and beautiful garden with many secret places. Room was cozy. Breakfast was continental nothing special. Location is very good close to many shops Ross dress for less etc.
Not very nice of a room, kinda grungy.. Staff was very nice. Breakfast ok. We were there 3 nights and only stayed because I couldn't get my refund. Bed was very hard. Pillows very lumpy and terrible....
This place has been here a long time, very close to downtown west palm, we were back in town for a show where we lived for a long time. Breakfast was ok, staff was nice. Bed was very lumpy, we may return but will ask for a upgraded bed. OK for the money but bed ruined it.
Clean room, With very comfy beds & a great pool area. I love the pool area. You can grill there, lounge, play big Chess. Great size pool. Shaded area to sit & eat. Or take a nap. Great house cleaning. Breakfast again 3 out of five. Hot tea, coffee & hot chocolate all day long.
Booked it blind on ihe net. I was pleasantly surprised with the maintenance and condition of the rooms and the grounds - someone(s) care and it shows. The free breakfast was a cut above the free breakfast a comparable hotels with fresh fruit, hard eggs, waffles, etc. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again.
The Beds were confortable and the room was clean. The staff were friendly as well. Overall a good expereance. The breakfast was ok. Not the best or the worst but overall good. (Biscuts and gravy every day but no scrambled eggs)
Wonderful location. Very helpful staff. Room needed a lot of work: constant dripping water from shower faucet (we had to close the door to the bathroom), toilet needed repair, latch on front door was broken. Some of these were fixed after complaining, but despite attempt, shower continued to drip. We were informed by the front door reservation person that it was a very quiet place. It was not even close. People were loud and running around; no one was there to supervise bunches of children, carrying on until at least 2 am; people next door moved into their room with foodstuffs that had to be removed from a wheeled cart at 11:30 pm. Reception tried to close this down, but had a hard time. Having said the above, the TripAdvisor staff supervisor, Ron, was very kind, considerate and very helpful, as was Debra. They tried their best to make us happy. Oh yes, and complementary breakfast was tasty with a variety of choices. It's these last comments which gave them a 3 out of 5.
