One of the better hotels we have ever stayed at - clean, quiet, abd a perfect location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast very - of expensive. Room #101 is the best - four big windows overlooking the river.

Our stay in Strasbourg was greatly enhanced by our time at Regent Petite France hotel, located right in the heart of the picturesque historic district. From the moment we arrived, Giada at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and graciously accommodated our request for a quiet room overlooking the canal. Every staff member we encountered—from the concierge to housekeeping—was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel's location is perfect, just steps away from all the major attractions. Room 221 was ideal for our needs; tucked away in a peaceful spot, it offered beautiful canal views, and the comfortable bed and soft pillows gave us a deep, restful sleep after long days of walking. We highly recommend this hotel!

A fantastic location on the edge of the old town, with beautiful views from the terrace (restaurant) over the river and old town. Staff were pleasant and engaging when asked for help - but to a level one would expect to be honest. We were in the annexe - yes there is an annexe that does not seem to be obvious in the description. Nor is it clear when booking a room. This seems a little unfair when it is a separate building that whilst only 20m away across the street has no staff or reception inside and is accessed through a secure door using your key - more like staying in a self serviced apartment. The rooms were clean and well equipped and comfortable. We were lucky enough to have one overlooking the river and the rotating bridge that opens to let the tour boats pass. All in all a pleasent hotel but something was missing for me that I can't put my finger on - hence I would not warn people from staying here but I would probably not rush to stay here again.

We had a really lovely stay at Hôtel & Spa Régent Petite France. The location truly couldn't be better—you are right in the heart of Petite France, surrounded by one of the most beautiful parts of Strasbourg, and it made exploring the city incredibly easy. Service throughout our stay was excellent, and we found the staff warm and helpful. The food was also very good, and overall the hotel felt polished and well run. Our biggest challenge was simply the size of our Junior Suite. We were traveling as a family of four with luggage, and even in this room category it felt quite small once all four of us and our bags were inside. This is probably less of an issue for a couple, but families may want to consider a larger room category if available. We also arranged a babysitter through the hotel one evening and were surprised to discover when she arrived that she did not speak English. Fortunately, she was incredibly kind and wonderful with our children, so it ended up being a positive experience—the kids even had fun learning some French words from her! Had she not been such a lovely sitter, though, the inability to communicate easily could have been a significant issue. I would recommend that the hotel confirm language requirements with guests when arranging childcare. We unfortunately didn't have enough time to experience the spa, which we would have loved to try. Overall, we had a very positive stay. Between the excellent location, great service, good food and beautiful surroundings, Régent Petite France was a wonderful base for our time in Strasbourg, and we would happily recommend it—just with the suggestion that families of four carefully consider room size when booking.

I had hope for 5 stars here, however the smell when we walked in the foyer was disgusting. It smelt like sewer. My wife nearly gagged. Hotel staff seem oblivious to it, yet the restaurant was empty at 1.30. It reminded me of Christmas day when you all sitting around the table and grandma lets one rip and everyone ignores it. Even when we checked out the staff said "what smell" The rooms were great , loved the AC but not the drunks at 1.30am in the lane outside the window.

One of the highlights of our stay at the Régent Petite France Hotel & Spa was the exceptional staff. Every person we encountered made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. The reception team was warm, professional, and always eager to help with recommendations, directions, and any questions we had. Our bellman was especially friendly, courteous, and quick to assist with our luggage, making our arrival and departure effortless. The restaurant and bar staff were equally outstanding. They were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections, and always served us with a smile. Their hospitality truly enhanced every meal and evening we spent at the hotel. It's rare to find such consistently excellent service throughout an entire property. The staff's kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. They are a true credit to the Régent Petite France Hotel & Spa, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely a Star 5 experience. The property, the breakfast buffet, the room, the spa. The staff went over the top in every area! They are a 10! From the Bellman, the front desk, the restaurant, the spa! My second stay, awesome will definitely stay there again.

Some hotels are simply a place to sleep. Régent Petite France feels like you're actually staying inside the postcard of Strasbourg. The location is unbelievable. You walk out the door and you are immediately in the middle of everything that makes Petite France so special — canals, bridges, flowers hanging from windows, people sitting outside with wine, little streets that somehow look even better at night than they do during the day. Honestly, half the time we just stood outside the hotel looking around thinking, “this can't be real.” Our room was incredible with a view that made it hard to leave in the morning. Watching the boats pass through the canals while the city slowly woke up was one of those travel moments you remember long after the trip is over. The staff could not have been more helpful. Every interaction felt genuine and relaxed, never forced or overly formal. They helped with recommendations, directions, questions — anything we needed. You could tell they truly cared that guests enjoyed Strasbourg. The entire hotel somehow feels luxurious without being stuffy. Comfortable, elegant, quiet, and perfectly placed in the center of it all. Only very minor thing — the shower setup could be a little more accessible depending on mobility or preference — but honestly, it barely registered compared to how much we loved staying here. If you're visiting Strasbourg and want to fully experience Petite France instead of just walking through it for an hour, stay here. We already miss waking up there.

With this hotel it's all about the location-you can't beat it in Strasbourg as it is right in the old quarter 'Petite France'. The hotel advertises itself as 5 star, though it falls short in a couple of ways. The price of the room, however is very reasonable and cheaper than any 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Shortly before our stay they sent emails with driving directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.... the most important of which is the code to lower the bollard to let you into the pedestrian zone. On arrival the concierge took care of our bags and parked the car-super efficient. One unusual thing to note is that you cannot check into your room until after 4pm. For an old building, the hotel is surprisingly modern inside. When we did get our room it was very nice with a good bathroom and all was super-clean. Our bags arrived within 2 minutes. One other niggle was that the air conditioning wasn't working even though the weather was hot for the time of year (April) ....I understand that it is available in May, though it should have been turned on a few days early this year due to the weather. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking the beautiful old timber-framed buildings while watching the World go by. Breakfast was good, but not the extensive selection of a typical 5 star hotel. We ate one night at one of their recommended restaurants-Fink Steubel-which was excellent and only o 3 minute walk. Would we stay here again? Yes we would, due mainly to the great location and private parking .

As many reviewers have noted, the location is excellent and well suited for exploring Strasbourg. That said, our overall experience did not fully meet expectations, primarily due to the check-in process and the room allocation. I had reserved a Deluxe Room described as having a canal view, which was a key factor in choosing this hotel, as it was our first visit to the city. We arrived approximately 30 minutes after the official check-in time, and the room was not ready until around 5:30 pm. While this can occur during a busy weekend, it was still disappointing, as it limited our ability to enjoy the city in daylight on our arrival day. Upon entering the room, there was technically a very small glimpse of the canal; however, it was minimal and not particularly scenic, and not what one would reasonably expect when booking a room advertised as having a canal view. To see the canal more clearly required leaning out of the window and angling far to the right, which is neither practical nor reasonable, particularly in winter. I returned to the front desk to confirm that we had been assigned the correct room category. While one staff member was reviewing the reservation and confirming that the room was classified as Deluxe with a canal view, a second staff member intervened in a forceful and highly discourteous manner. She insisted the room was correct and stated that guests who book through third-party platforms such as Expedia should not expect preferential treatment. I explained that I was not seeking preferential treatment, only the room features described at the time of booking. Her manner remained confrontational and lacked professionalism or basic customer care. The interaction was so unexpectedly rude that it left me in tears, at which point I disengaged. For the remainder of our stay, I avoided further interaction with the front desk as a result of this encounter. Additionally, no general orientation was provided at check-in regarding hotel amenities such as the spa (highly recommend an hour there, was lovely and customer service was very gracious) or restaurant. Information was only offered when we specifically asked. On a positive note, the gentlemen at the main entrance were always consistently welcoming and helpful, particularly when we arrived by taxi, and the front desk did assist with restaurant reservations when requested. For clarity regarding the photos: • Photo 1 shows the view from the room as seen normally, without opening the window, where only a minimal glimpse of the canal is visible. • Photo 2 shows the canal only when leaning out of the window and angling far to the right—an option that is neither practical nor reasonable in winter conditions. Strasbourg is a beautiful and memorable city, especially at this time of year. However, based on our experience, I would hesitate to recommend this hotel unless room features—particularly views—can be clearly and reliably guaranteed.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. It is centrally located in the old town in within walking distance of the many attractions in the area. We have a deluxe room with breakfast. The room is quite spacious with a large king size bed and a well-appointed bathroom. The service from the staff was been of a very high standard. They even arranged dinner at restaurants outside of the hotel as theirs was booked out,

Last stop .. Christmas Market right out our window which was a concern but it was quiet before we were. The room was minimal but worked for our needs. The bathroom was small and cramped, only made for one person. The location is nice but because of the time of year our transportation was not allowed to drop us at the front of the hotel. Our luggage did receive a ride by the hotel bellmen.

Great location. Best service you can expect. Would highly recommend. Our signature suite (room 116) was fantastic with great views over the water. Sebastian was exceptionally helpful with restaurant reservations and with helping secure a car back to the train station. Overall, a great experience and we'd return again.

Booked 3 rooms for a family trip in the Pavillion on the 3rd floor, 2 classic and 1 executive. All had beautiful views over the river, a clean and minimal aesthetic will light wood floors and generous modern bathrooms. Bed and linens very comfortable, housekeeping attentive, and an unmatched location in Petite France. Concierge helped with some last minute restaurant bookings during an obviously very busy time. I would recommend the Pavillion over the main building...which is more modernized and less charming...but it's literally a 1 minute walk away for breakfast and a nice bar, spa etc. Could not recommend it more highly a big success for our xmas market trip.

We can well recommend this excellent hotel. From arrival to departure the staff were smiling and welcoming. Right in the heart of what is really such a small old town area the views are delightful. (Recommend junior suite facing water.) Room spotless, modern and bright. [The cost of breakfast is relatively steep if you have no desire for a large meal to start the day. There are small cafes nearby for the ‘petit' dejeuner. We loved Potager.]

My Experience with Regent Petite France My first booking was under my wife's name, but I never received the confirmation email. On July 19, when I wrote to the hotel, they replied that there was only one reservation under my name/email. Almost a month later – and only after my repeated follow-ups – they suddenly “found” the first reservation. When I requested a refund, the hotel completely ignored me. Only three weeks later – after I contacted my bank/credit card company – did they start replying again. And their final answer was simply that both bookings were “non-refundable.” This shows: They first denied the reservation existed. They ignored my refund request until I escalated the issue to my bank. Their reply came after three weeks, with no accountability, just hiding behind the “non-refundable” policy. In the end, I was unfairly charged twice for the same stay. The way this hotel handled the situation completely destroyed my trust in their brand.

Definitely a 10/10 for location and we had a room in the ‘annex' with wonderful views of the canal. Nice best, good sized room and well appointed (modern). Parking not cheap (40/50 euros indoor/outdoor). It didn't feel a particularly personal service (having come from hotel d'angleterre in Geneva it was a shock!) but it's definitely a lovely hotel and decent value. I didn't try breakfast or the spa, as out of time, but I did need to use my own pillow as the hotels wasn't perfect. However that's a minor gripe and it was a lovely stay

Very nice hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, making it easy to relax after a full day exploring the city. The staff provided excellent service, friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Strasbourg's beautiful Petite France district, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the famous cathedral. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit! :-)

The absolute highlight of our trip and this hotel was Fatya - she completely made our stay. We have never experienced such genuine warmth and kindness. Our daughter Olive has autism and completely 'imprinted' on Fatya who was utterly delightful with her, letting Olive 'help' her with her work and showing her around the hotel. Every time we returned back to the hotel, Fatya would give Olive a big hug and ask her what she'd been up to and they are now lifelong friends! Our daughter cried all the way home - she was devastated to leave. The staff at this hotel are second to none, they made our entire weekend so memorable and the attention to detail is phenomenal.

-First. The page is not clear that Regent Pavilion is another building than Regent Petite France. Pavilion has much less quality in the rooms and no lobby. -Second. Rooms have very limited view because of their small windows. We saw 5 options and did not like any of them. Very few and poor amenities. The shower is terrible and the more luxurious rooms do NOT have a shower, but only a bathtub. -Third. Both the lobby of the main building as well as the first floor of the Pavilion smell terrible. I don't know if something was wrong with their pipes or it smells like that because of the river. The personnel never knew what was wrong. We could never enjoy breakfast at the hotel because it stinks badly. Well, I hope next time Í find myself a better option because this hotel is not for me. Not worth the price.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Center of Petite-France, Strasbourg, with an attentive, warm welcoming staff. From our arrival to departure the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, supportive when we needed help (finding a restaurant or museum or boat trip and ESPECIALLY dealing with an errant ATM or a left-behind item). There is so much to see and experience in the Strasbourg Alsace region, from the wonderful museum to the inner city to the historical background to the European Parliament, and the Regent is in the middle of it all. Breakfast Buffet is expensive and not a great value compared to what's available in town, though the a la carte menu is certainly acceptable. We had never been to Strasbourg so being in the center of the old town was essential to our exploring and enjoying, especially since the weather did not cooperate - raining and windy most days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel to all who travel to this wonderful city at strategically located for exploration: in the Alsace French/German region of France.

We visited Strasbourg in 2016, and we were captivated by the area Petite France. We were not disappointed-the location is fantastic. Upon check-in, we were upgraded at no charge to a Junior Suite-a real treat! The room and the overall property are up-to-date and very clean. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and professional. The valet parking is easy.

This is a very nice hotel in the heart of the Strasburg tourist Area known as petit France. The entire staff was very friendly and professional, especially Maria in the front desk the hotel offers convenient, valet parking and easy access even though it's in a restricted pedestrian area. My wife and I had dinner in the bar area which was very nice. the food, the service and the view of the canal Was wonderful. Also very quiet and private. Like Maria in the front desk, Evan in the bar area was friendly, professional, and efficient, both always with a smile. I unequivocally recommend this hotel.

To stay at the Regent Petit France was a really special treat. It is a five star hotel with beautiful rooms, excellent amenities and a terrific breakfast. On top of it all, it could not be more centrally located in the old town of Strasbourg. If you want a high end hotel experience, you can't go wrong at the Regent Petit France.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was disappointing. We were given a connecting room with very poor insulation, and we could hear everything from the room next door-including a baby crying throughout the night. The noise made it almost impossible to sleep or relax. We raised the issue with the staff, but sadly, they were not helpful and didn't offer any solution or room change. For the price and reputation, we expected a much more restful and accommodating experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for peace and quiet, there were also lots of ants in the room which is shown in my photos, the only good thing in the hotel is the staff at the bar and the quality of the food and drinks.

Absolutely the best location in Strasbourg to visit the old town. We had an issue with our room the first night, and they were so accommodating to upgrade us to the most wonderful suite the second night. Great service. Very comfortable beds. Lovely setting. We did not eat breakfast there, but wonderful cafes just around the next blocks. One couple in our group took advantage of their spa and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend booking here.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. There are some positive things, but I would never stay here again. First, it's a great location, the staff is very nice, the breakfast is lovely and the rooms are nice. Here's my two complaints...no air conditioning available during our stay. It was April and warm, but we were told it was not yet turned on for season. It was very warm in the room so we had to sleep with window open which caused restless sleep due to outside noise. Second complaint, there was no shower in the bathroom. It was merely a hand held shower head, attached to the tub, where you could not stand due to sloped ceiling, which made it difficult to shower and impossible to not flood the bathroom floor. My recommendation would be to inquire about those two issues before booking, because our stay was otherwise pleasant.

Lush pillows, great bed, room 303 with a view and as quiet as can be! Best sleep on this France holiday. Warm welcome and tremendous breakfast included. Highly recommend! Enjoy the patio on the canal for an afternoon drink and watch the world go by.

We booked and stayed in the property's Pavillion building. The l Good:Amazing location,large spacious room, wonderful views, comfortable bed, nice shower, good house keeping it's 2 times per day. The Not As Good: You need to know this is a separate building from the Regent Petite de France. You check in there as there is no reception in the building. Amenities often do not come with these rooms, the heat can be a bit wonky and keeps the room warmer than we liked. Wanted to use the spa(hot tub) but they wanted 25 euro per hour per person. Not the most warm and fuzzy greeting when checking in, no encouragement to come to the main building, get drinks at the bar. Etc... Would I stay there again? Maybe...loved the location but did not like the lack of amenities. Probably would stay in the main hotel. Would I stay there again? Maybe

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel. It claims to be a 5 star property but it is more like a 3 star. We were in the Pavillon building which is separate from the main hotel and there is no staff, no amenities or anything else in this building. We were a party of 3 in two rooms. Service was nonexistent and housekeeping was spotty. For example on our first day we left the room for about 6 hours - almost the entire day and came back and the room hadn't been cleaned. Then on the last day the room was serviced twice in the same day. The first day or two we had washcloths and then the other days we had none. Our room required climbing a steep set of stairs once inside the room (very hard with luggage) and for a 5 star property it was surprising that such items as hair conditioner and body lotion was not offered. In our room it was very hard to regulate the temperature and there was very little lighting. To get a morning coffee we had to leave our building, go to the main building and then pay $7 Euros for a cappachino. This hotel should not be considered 5 star. Disappointing in so many ways and not inexpensive so next time we visit lovely Strasbourg we will select something better.

5 Star hotel in the Petite France section of Strasbourg. With the streets closed in December, we were lucky to learn that the hotel was easy to reach from the outskirts of the central city. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent breakfast. We had a wonderful view from our Deluxe class room. We were able to walk everywhere in the old town.

Superb experience for first time Strasbourg visit. Exceptional property, unmatched location within Petite France, cordial and very helpful staff, and modern rooms in a traditional, classic setting all converged to make our stay memorable. Our top floor room looked out over a canal and a Christmas market and the rooftops of old Strasbourg. An excellent choice for short or extended visits. Next visit will be longer. Enjoy!

Perfect location to visit Old Strasbourg, its famous Christmas Markets and its post card picture neighborhood. the hotel is just a few steps from the Barrage Vauban dam and stone bridges and easy walking distance to the Cathedral and all of the markets in Petite France. The hotel itself has all the charm of a classic building outside and very comfortable modern rooms inside. The staff is fantastic and accommodating. With all the great local restaurants and cafes nearby we did not eat at the hotel's restaurant. The hotel offers parking but with all the streets and bridges blocked for for the markets, it's really challenging to reach by car. But so well worth it for the great accommodations right in Petit France.

Avoid this place if possible. It's dirty, full of insects, and has deplorable service. We were on our anniversary trip, we were told to open the windows by the staff (Marie) as the room was scorching hot, shortly thereafter we had a full on spider invasion in our room. My wife is allergic to spiders, a fact that I communicated to the staff. They were extremely rude and condescending, telling me that it was my fault for opening the windows, which was ironic since they were the ones who suggested it in the first place. This was after lying about having air-conditioning (only heating available). Their excuse is that they're in winter mode, obviously to save money and could not accommodate our reasonable expectation to not sweat during the whole night. This is not disclosed anywhere in the booking details. They offered to give me another room but told me that it would have the same problem since it's over the water. They also offered to charge me a bunch of money to move it to another room across the street in their other property which didn't have water below - which sounds like a scam to me. After being in France for a long time this was one of the regions that we most wanted to see. Thanks for this hotel we had abhorrent experience.

I stayed at this hotel with my partner for two nights. At checkout, there was a duplicate item of significance on our bill that neither of us had requested or received. Although, my partner had inadvertently signed for it. We told them that it was incorrect but the receptionist would not believe us (no customer is always correct at this place). Effectively treating us as two people who were not being truthful. This went on for 20 minutes until they eventually contacted the relevant person and rightly removed the item. The experience was unpleasant and unnecessary and ruined our trip. In 40+ years of travelling I have never had anything like this before and I would never go near the place again.

Hotel in a great location for exploring, it's right next to the river, the staff are lovely, the rooms clean & the beds are very comfortable.secure parking on site. Lots of places to eat within walking distance Lovely terrace for breakfast if weather permits. Highly recommend.

An excellent hotel in all material respects. Stayed here for 4 nights. Courteous and helpful staff ; very comfortable and clean accommodation; excellent choice of food and drink; within easy reach of all historic sights. As I had injured a knee on the journey to Strasbourg that undermined my ability to walk, the staff provided me with a crutch that I used during my stay and that device helped me enormously. Nothing to fault. A gem of an hotel.

Ask for the annex. Rooms are huge. Views are better. Service was great; rooms very clean and recently renovated. Beautiful rooms!! 351! We usually like a breakfast included but it is extra— no matter, worth the beautiful location and room. Quieter than some spots but near plenty!!

My wife and I immigrated to Strasbourg, France and had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel for 3 weeks while we settle in and find a place to call home. Words cannot begin to express how grateful we are for the friendliest team we have come across. The grace and elegance in which they all go about their daily tasks is nothing short of excellent. From the moment we entered, breakfast and evening care was at a consistent level. We will miss all of our Regent le Petite France family that took care of us during this time.

Our 4-night stay has been the high point of our three-week trip so far. Great location on the canal close to all sights in Petit France, and a short walk to the tram stop from which all of Strasbourg is accessible. We booked an Executive room and were upgraded to a large room on the top floor. Gleaming bathroom and fabulous daily housekeeping service. Highly recommend!

Excellent location although very hard to drive to during Christmas season. Hotel was cozy and service was ok but not 5-star. We skipped restaurants since didn't look special and so many places nearby to eat. Would definitely recommend for anyone who really wants to experience Strasbourg.

An absolutely awful experience. I booked a room in the Pavillion not knowing that there is no reception, no dining room, in fact, nothing except the rooms which are at best only designed for one person staying one night. There is only 6 inches of hanging space in the wardrobe, nowhere to put your cases, in fact nowhere to put anything. The spa which they advertise is across the road in the main hotel as is the dining room. We arrived on Tuesday and were scheduled to leave on Friday, the restaurant was closed and only opens on weekends which we were not told when booking. We checked out after the first night, they offered no alternatives, the staff were very unhelpful and rude in some instances. Overpriced Premier Inn!

Good from start to finish. Fabulous friendly staff who wanted to help and please. What more can you ask for. Hotel in the picturesque area of town. Comfortable room. Some real history in the cellar with the famous Strasbourg ice machine. As with virtually everywhere in France, you have to pay to park the car….it was a little steep but a lovely indoor secure parking area.

I did not stay in this hotel, however I was disgusted by their attitude on reception and unwillingness to help. I approached reception very politely to ask if I could use their bathroom as I am pregnant and really need to use the toilet and to change the nappy or my child who had an accident outside 2,5 years who just move out of nappy and very cold outside. Lady on reception told me that there are no toilets for me to use and only hotel residents can access it. I've said I am happy to buy coffee or tea to use toilet, however she repeated is not possible. I have never heard any hotel who do not let pregnant lady to use toilet or change child. We stay in hotels around the world and this place with their attitude is disgusting, so far from 5*.

This is a wonderful hotel, in the most beautiful part of the medieval quarter. All the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The quality of everything, the reception, the room and the breakfast room was all we could have wished for. We drove to the hotel via Eurotunnel (grrr!) for the Christmas markets – a couple of recommendations if you are doing the same - It's worthwhile to plan your route carefully and to head for the Pont de L'Abbatoir as your entry point to the medieval city. If you book valet parking, contact the hotel a good 2 weeks before travel to get the stamped authorisation form – without it, you will not be allowed entry to the medieval quarter in a car. Near to the hotel and away from the crowded areas is the relatively quiet St. Thomas' market. If you're in need of a quiet half hour with a ‘vin chaud' and a tasty snack, it's a good option – and you can also read about the church that overlooks the market, I think it claims to be the location of the first Protestant sermon. Oh, and don't plan a return date when the Eurotunnel people decide to call a wildcat strike over their Christmas bonus! For the rest, the medieval quarter at Christmas is every bit as good as the websites and guidebooks say it is!

We have booked a suite in Regent Petite France during Christmas periode. Despite it was confirmed that the suite will be read for check in at13:00, we had to check in at 16:00, so we lost our massage session. The rooms was smelling badly entire night and extremely dry due to the unbalanced heating system. The value for this hotel doesnt worth the money spent. I wouldn't recommend it in this Periode.

Hands up - I gave it a 4, but my wife loved loved loved it so its a 5. The central location is brilliant. We arrived by car and it was whisked away immediately to the pre-booked garage. Our room had a fabulous outlook over the water and buzzy area beyond. The room is ‘trendy' but was a decent size. No.1 issue is always the quality of the bed and it was 10/10. Would certainly stay again - staff all very nice. We didn't have breakfast as it was overpriced and didn't look particularly interesting. Room was €228 which I thought was very reasonable.

One if the best hotel experiences I had Perfect location probably most pictured hotel and area in strassbourg I stayed in the old house and I prefer the old house Had to walk to main building fir breakfast but that is okay Breakfast is fancy but not comfortable Everything is already put on plates in very little amounts causing you multiple trips to the open buffet Rooms where I stayed was nicely finished Price was reasonable

Just spent 2 great nights at the Regent in Strasbourg. Well located in the heart of Petit France. You can walk anywhere. The rooms were clean and large enough. We had a room with a view of the river and the town. The beds were perfect and the selection of pillows worked well for both of us. The service was great and everyone greeted you with a smile and a willingness to help. Perfect stay. Highly recommend.

We have 3 nights stay in this lovely hotel, I made a good choice staying here. Our junior suit is pretty and gracious, esp. facing the best view of town! I enjoy every moment when I look out from the balcony. You must try hotel SAP - make sure you check with hotel reception and make reservations in advance. After the sauna and jacuzzi I feel quite relaxed. Location beats, the best place in Petite France; all staff are nice and helpful, we are quite happy that we stayed here.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Regent Petite France hotel. The location was right in the middle of the Petite France area and near many restaurants and shops. The hotel had air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The service we received was top notch.

this is the best part of petite france. we had wonderful view from our room include the bridges, the lock and even the top of the cathedral. very easy walking to the main attractions. it has parking. has a spa. very nice restaurant balcony on the canal. very recommended.

Our experiences were not that good if compared with all the good recommendations that this hotel received on different travel platforms. I would like to start by commenting on the good points of this hotel. Its location was perfect, right in the middle of La Petite France. The hotel was converted from a 17th-century mill and had a wonderful view overlooking the river. The room was also super spacious. However, other negative points made us feel uncomfortable during the stay. 1. The room was super cold. We increased the heating system to maximum temperature, but it did not work effectively. 2. The room looked old and tired, not up to the standard of a five-star standard. 3. The hotel has two different properties, but all the main facilities were at the main building, so it was quite inconvenient. 4. The communication was really bad. We ate breakfast at the main restaurant, and no one informed us that we would need to pay for the buffet breakfast. They gave us the à la carte menu and we ordered from there, assuming that we would only be charged for the things we ordered. However, at the end, we needed to pay for both the buffet breakfast and the à la carte menu although we did not even eat anything from the buffet breakfast. All in all, I would not recommend staying at this hotel despite its beautiful location.

Nice hotel with great location and great service. The hotel has a spa (unfortunately the steam room was out of order) and nice champagne bar. Nice valet parking service. We will come back to Strasbourg some day and for sure to this hotel

this hotel has a great reception. they are very helpful. since it is a spa hotel the hotel's restaurant does does serve only mild dish. if you are looking for flavour or tradition food, find recommend list from reception.

Regent Petite France is in a lovely area of Strasbourg and we were able to walk from the Strasbourg train station to the hotel. We had requested an early check in which they provided and was very helpful. Our one bedroom suite on the 2nd floor was very clean, modern, and spacious and water bottles were at the bedside. The bathroom has the toilet in a separate room. The air conditioning did not reach the bedroom so we opened the windows at night to aid in cooling the room. There was street noise with the windows open. However I would still highly recommend this hotel. We could walk to the Strasbourg Cathedral and Bateau area and there was a U Express grocery store on Grand Rue nearby. One morning we purchased an a la carte breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

An excellent location in the center of the medieval part of Strasbourg, within Le Petit France and very close to the river, cathedral, cafes and bars. Great for secure parking your expensive supercar (although not very wide for the hottest of them, mind your doors). Book parking in advance! A fabulous place to stay.

We spent one night with our friends during Christmas weekend. Location is unbeatable in Strasbourg. Within the city center at the canal. We had a room at the Pavillion with amazing canal view. Our friends stayed at the main building, they were also very satisfied. Rooms are big enough, very clean. The view is amazing. Be careful if you have a car. The hotel provides parking space - a big plus during Christmas - but you may get lost trying to find it. Entry to city center is extremely limited during Christmas. Overall definitely recommended to everyone.

Beautiful hotel in Petite France old town area. We stayed at the Pavilion, which was the newer wing. The hotel interior was remodeled 6 years ago, so it has very modern interiors, but maintains the classic feel from the outside. Such a nice area to wander around. We had a spacious room, and very comfortable bed. It was quiet with very good sound proofing. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating.

The property is phenomenal. Beautiful, spacious room, right on the canal with a fabulous view. The staff was absolutely amazing, very pleasant, accommodating and professional. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to everything Le Petit-France has to offer! You can't go wrong with a stay here!

A perfect location; wonderful staff and beautiful comfortable rooms with some of the best vies of Strasbourg.. Ideally located for exploring the old town and close to many great restaurants. This was a return visit and will be back again next visit to Strasbourg.

Elegant, Quiet, highly desirable. It is always wonderful when after a busy itinerary we end our vacation with staying at a really nice place.. This hotel was beyond "Really Nice". It made us feel like royalty. While we were there the Presdient of Ireland was also a guest. The staff was equally hospitality to my husband and I as they were to him. Our room overlooked the 'canal" in a second building called the Pavilion.. The history of this building being an Ice Factory was nicely told with various artifacts in the lobby. The only downside was the TAXI dropped us off with LUGGAGE about 3 block away saying they could NOT get there because of bridge construction. THAT WAS NOT True. This driver deserves to be reprimanded but not being able to speak French and not really sure what was happening we neglected to get his Cab #.Bar was ordinary, but elegant. The front desk staff speak fluent english. We had some trouble following their directions but that was our fault. VERY little German spoken .. all French.

Good location, comfortable rooms, excellent staff. Located at the entrance to Petite France, so quiet yet just near all the restaurants and sites in the quartier. Front desk was very accommodating, helping with directions, restaurant reservations .

This hotel loses one star because the air conditioning was unavailable and the room was so hot. They had to turn the heaters on but the weather warmed up again and so the hotel was left without air conditioning. They did their best to help by providing a quite nice fan but still over €300 per night for uncomfortable sleep is never a great thing! That being said the staff right throughout the hotel were excellent the rooms were very nice the bar was very comfortable and the location is hard to beat.

Since life is about the simple pleasures this hotel does a great job at meeting that and more. Hotel was beautiful, is in a wonderful location and offers many options for dining. The staff was very helpful in providing local options for exploring/eating, the staff in bar and breakfast area were courteous and attentive, the cleaning staff was through, and everyone greeted you as you approached. I highly encourage and will definitely go back.

What a great place and right in the heart of everything. We were in the old building that is completely renovated. Overlooked the river from our room. The room is quite small but very nice. The staff is top notch. They catered to everyone. The actual restaurant was not open but the bar/lounge was on top of it. Fantastic food and drink. Overall it was a great experience and would stay there again.

Location, location, location. But that's not all. Excellent staff. Comfortable and clean. Would definitely come back. I loved the proximity to lots of restaurants and other businesses in a quaint environment. Very close to many places one would want to visit.

Loved this hotel. Great location, friendly staff. Especially the Superb staff at the Champagne Bar where we went on 3 evenings. Our room was a great size and a very comfortable bed. Hotel was quiet and we fell asleep to the sound of water. Would definitely return and will definitely recommend.

This hotel is located in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! The room was very large and very clean. Every window has a picturesque view. Everything is within walking distance - cafes, shopping, playgrounds. The train station is a very easy 15 minute walk.

Very serviceminded Staff, lovely rooms, beautiful surroundings and a nice, clean room. The bar was beautifully placed by the river, and we got to have breakfast there as well. Breakfast was a bit posh, but good - everything served in little bowles (eggs in one, bacon in one, frukt in one etc, all made for one person). The waiter forgot to bring us coffee and milk, but we got it as soon as we reminded her. All in all a very nice stay! Would love to go back.

We stayed for only two nights but with this amazing hotel we could have stayed longer - even during the warm summer days in July 2022. The location is something extra! You have fantastic surroundings in picturesque Petit France and walking distance to everything in the city. The interior design of the hotel is stylish and comfortable which gave us a nice break during the heatwave. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. All in all, the hotel is easy to love and I think it's the best choice for Strasbourg!

This hotel was booked for us on behalf of our travel agent and we were so pleased! You cannot beat the location in La Petite France, we were able to walk everywhere. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Incredible location with beautiful rooms. The staff were 5 stars easily. They really helped us navigate the area. The view from our room was exceptional. The bed was comfortable and the price was great for the location and amenities. Would absolutely stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience while staying here during our trip. The staff is very friendly and the accommodations were very comfortable. The location is perfect if you need to get around without a car. They have two buildings. We stayed in their Pavilion building (picture below). We had the room in the attic which was completely remodeled. Very comfortable. The only things to be aware of is there are stairs as soon as you enter this specific room which wasn't a problem for us but could be for someone unable to go up them. The WiFi didn't work will unless you were sitting on the steps. Again, specific to this room. I don't consider either of these a downside but an FYI. I highly recommend this hotel

Finished our three week holiday with two nights in the pavilion and found the room very comfortable, clean and perfect. The hotel location is second to none. The meet & greet team we're excellent and looked after our valet parking. No complaints whatsoever thank you

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Strasbourg. Well located, very nice accommodations, and a wonderful outdoor deck riverside for breakfast and cocktails. Service was courteous and attentive. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed. Bathrooms were nice. Our room over looked the River and had a lovely balcony.

A really nice hotel in an excellent location! Employees very helpful and friendly (Kelsey and Leo!) short walk to Le Petite France. We also has food at the bar and the club sandwich was very good! Room was modest but appropriate and AC was good. I highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel 23 years ago when it was 7 years old. Now it is 30 years old and I am totally impressed! I thought it was wonderful before, but it is even better and you can't beat the location in the La Petite area of Strasbourg. The hotel is an island onto itself. It is the only hotel in this section and thus has the best location. It is less than 2 minutes to go from the hotel across the bridge to this historic and half timbered section of town with lots of restaurants, not to mention the fabulous view of the waterway. I especially love that the Grand Rue (basically a Main Street) is nearby with lots of restaurants, boutiques and stores. The view from my hotel room was so serene. It is only about 8 minutes from the Cathedral. This is a wonderful city that is walkable, safe, and so much to see As to the hotel room, it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but I did order room service, which was quick and efficient and tasted good. The front desk was very helpful.

The hotel is right in centre of old town. Very high standard of cleanliness and very nice rooms , ours was a corner room with views of river. The staff could not do enough to help as we we're travelling with older parents . Barman made great cocktails. Definitely coming back to stay . Thanks to the staff .

We have been before. This is a special place with super service in a unique situation. The food, the spa, and the people made it a must on our trip and it did not disappoint. We particularly like the outside patio. We will be back

I was so pleased with my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect; I walked to all of the major tourist sites, and the hotel was beautiful. My room was amazing; modern, clean great view, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and everyone on the staff helped me with everything I needed. I will come back one day and I highly recommend this hotel.

We were recently in Strasbourg at the end of a trip planned to be two weeks. We were not feeling well the day we arrived. We tested for Covid and were positive. The room was very nice. We felt well in a couple of days, but were still testing positive, so could not fly home. The staff took us under their wing and could not have been more helpful. They extended our stay at the same rate unlike our airport hotel which was almost double our previously booked rate. They helped us contact our airline, translated, made an appointment with an English speaking doctor so we could get a clearance to fly, changed our train reservations, made copies of documents and generally acted like personal assistants. We have been traveling over fifty years and stayed in hundreds of hotels. Never have we needed so much help. Not only did they provide the help, they did so without the slightest hint of impatience with our lack of ability to operate and problem solve in French. A lot of hotels have nice rooms and luxurious services, but a real test of a great hotel is when you have a personal problem and they step up and save your bacon.

This is the second time I go to this hotel because we loved it the first time. It is still as beautiful, great staff, perfect location. Things that need to change is the price of breakfast. It is an “ok buffet” which doesn't even include eggs and its €28, it is way too much for what they offer. Also the bathroom design is truly terrible.

The hotel is very basic in nature especially for the price one is paying. our room which was of a higher category was very ordinary and the bathroom was too basic and badly designed . The only redeeming factor about the hotel is it's location which is extremely central . It's more of a 4 star property and certainly not 5 star in my view

This was a beautiful hotel in a very historic part of Strasbourg. All Staff very kind and friendly . Lovely bar area. Very comfortable beds. We booked a suite for our family of 3 which worked out well for 2 nights but may have been a little small for anything longer. Great for 2 adults but slightly small for 3 or 4 adults but still good value.

Super! Very accommodating staff, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne for my birthday and a card. Nice breakfast, excellent service. Clean rooms. Ideal location. The couples massage was the best, we highly recommend Natalia and Marilynn from the spa for a massage ! Thank you!

Elegant hotel with top class service and very professional staff at all levels. Location is perfect for old city Petit France and a great selection of restaurants and interesting buildings. Just a joy of a stay to put the cream on a wonderful city. Many thanks to all.

Great service at this hotel, especially Marc, who does it all as valet, bellhop, and guide. Room was relatively basic for a five star hotel. Driving to hotel is a challenge, especially if you are using GPS. Best to call hotel while on your way so someone can guide you across cobblestone/pedestrian bridge. Solid breakfast included. A bit loud at night as sounds from restaurants nearby echo in the area, but everything is close by.

We decided to pay more than average for this hotel due to its excellent location. However, it was a big disappointment. The worst was the mattress which sagged in the middle causing a bad night's sleep. I would have made up a bed on the floor but their were no extra blankets. The shower leaked all over the bathroom despite repositioning the shower head in every direction. Our room had no view.

We received a very warm welcome from the Directrice and the receptionist. A smooth and efficient process. All the staff are very welcoming and provide a great service. We had a deluxe room which was very well appointed with a balcony and nice views. It is well placed for the sights of old Strasbourg but just removed sufficiently to avoid the hustle and bustle, (100mtrs).

As usual an excellent stay at the Regent - arguably Strasbourg best hotel. Large rooms and ideal situation; well air conditioned which is need there for summer. Lovely breakfast on the terrace next to the river. Definitely worth a visit. Excellent stay

Right in the center of Strassburg. Big room and bathroom. Right on a canal. The restaurant has great food and view on the canal. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant are very friendly. Easy and safe parking.

We had stayed here before. We were happy to stay during the first opening weekend. When I pulled up in my car, the gentleman, greeted me by name and said they were expect me. Check in was very easy, room ready early. Nice room with balcony overlooking the petite France. Breakfast was lovely. As soon as we arrived to Petite France and saw how close it is to everything, we knew we were going to have an amazing stay. The staff was extremely helpful to make our stay excellent. Highly recommended!!!

We had booked a 3 night get away & were looking forward to a peaceful quiet time after attending the funeral of a dear friend. From the beginning the hotel was very helpful even arranging transfer to Strasbourg from Basel airport at a reasonable price. On checking in we were a little disappointed in our room & asked if they had anything else available. The staff were so helpful & pleasant & upgraded us to a lovely room that absolutely made the break special. They did this without knowing any of the circumstances behind our trip. The room was perfect. Every staff member was helpful & charming (a special mention to Emma on the front desk who was lovely). The location can't be beaten. The restaurant is great. I can't recommend it highly enough.

We grade up to the suite room for family room but the room was big and clean , especially the hotel is in the middle of the petite France area so we easily could walk around the town ! Nice staff nice service !
