Best Western Hotel Palmyra Inn & Suites, Palmyre

We spent three nights of our 9-day road trip in Palmyra and the Best Western was comfortable and clean. They serve a wonderful, varied breakfast and our first morning there, the dining area was PACKED! The Inn was at full capacity. Still, the staff kept up with plenty of fresh food and there were plenty of tables for all. The second and third mornings there were fewer people but also plenty of food. The front desk staff was very helpful - our key card didn't work one day and they quickly fixed it. Our room was quiet even though the windows faced the road. There's just not much traffic there so weren't bothered. We will definitely choose this lovely Inn if we travel there again!

We enjoyed our 2 day stay at this no-frills hotel in Palmyra. Nice, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and my kids enjoyed the hot tub (there is no pool here). The breakfast had a wide variety of options including waffle maker.

I stay here often for business. I've never had an issue. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are always clean.there is a fitness area available as well as laundry. They offer a free hot breakfast. Staff is great

Absolutely awful. It's now 9:45 at night as I lay here listening to another screaming baby(again at 4am) that's okay, i paid to stay here! . And I say another, because I already moved clear to the other end of the hotel after spending my first night in an ant infested room, also right next door to a screaming baby. So apparently that is the highlight of staying at this best Western. I was looking for a nice room where I could get some R&R, catch up on sleep. I found nothing but headache here. Customer service non existent in my opinion. I will not be back. And I will most certainly tell others of my experience. I'm hesitant to even stay at a best Western again. I'm assuming the county houses their welfare cases here, though I cannot confirm. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!

We made the reservation at the last minute and were very graciously accommodated. The lobby is very inviting and check-in was smooth and efficient. Our room was spacious, well furnished with a super comfortable bed and extraordinarily clean. The hotel is set in a quiet location, which made for good sleeping and relaxing after a long drive. It was wonderful to enjoy an in-person sit-down breakfast again after the long Covid hiatus - the food was hot and fresh and carefully served. We will definitely stay here again on regular trips along I-90!

It was clean and check-in was efficient. The staff were helpful and the hotel provided useful information on the surrounding area. The fitness center was open early, and breakfast was serviced promptly at 6:00.

I have enjoyed my stay at other Best Western before, but this time I did not. Our room smelled and was dirty. We found a pill, sock, toy ball, journal, smashed potato chips and some hair; all from previous guests. I spoke with a couple people at the front desk about this, more in hope that in the future this doesn't happen. So, I hope that this problem is getting corrected.

This place is way nicer than the 2-star rating it has. It's a quick trip into Rochester, NY without staying directly in the city. Very well priced. There are so many things to see and do in this region of NY.

If your black please don't go to this hotel they cut off my power and was so disrespectful about doing it smoke detectors was broke off wall and the room had an Oder this hotel needs to be shutdown ASAP

The motel itself was great. It was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff could be a little more attentive to the cleanliness of the breakfast area, Instead of being on their phones. The one female that was there on July 23rd after 6 pm was Great. She even went online to help us try to find a place to eat that was not closed.

My family were the last to check in for our room type for the day. This meant when we ended up in a room with a malfunctioning a/c and sluggish toilet, there were no options for changing rooms. To add insult to injury the front desk person was aggressively rude when I tried to get help with the situation. Despite having a full hotel, there were no repairmen on call for the weekend. Which meant, when the clearly struggling toilet was blocked, the response was to hand me a plunger. We were clearly not the first customers assigned the room. When we first went in, we realized the a/c had problems. Upon further inspection, it was obvious that someone had showered and shaved in the bathroom. We can only assume the previous occupant realized the room had issues and asked to switch, and that the room was not fully cleaned afterwards. The desk clerk wasn't willing to send someone to clean, so I was left to clean myself. There were no cleaning supplies available to give me, so I had to do my best with items available in my packed things. To sum up, make sure you are the one who is there in time to make a room switch.

This property seems to have either new management or had a big COVID hit. Any housekeeping service, including cleaning, towels, etc. must be requested 24 Hours in advance. Small staff seemed overwhelmed. Small supply/ beverage store was virtually empty. “Breakfast” amounted to a small muffin and two small granola bars in a bag. Beverage dispenser was not working. Other NY hotels have resumed a hot breakfast with a number of options. The entire property was below standard and underwhelming.

There was noise all night in the hallways. No staff would address the problem, sleep was non-existent. We were told masks weren't required for anyone. Pool and hot tub were closed. No options for food. Same staff was present at all times.

We had never been to Palmyra. The lady at the desk provided a warm and friendly greeting as well as valued information as to dining choices in the area. On top of a great Best Western experience, we loved Palmyra from its scenic nature and dining choices to the stroll along the Erie Canal and the Lock that adjoins a very nice local park. We hope to return next year.

The staff was very nice. Room was clean. Mine had a coffee maker and fridge. The towels are on the smaller side. Bed was very comfortable. Only negative was fire alarm going off at 2 am. The front desk staff said it was due to a frozen pipe and has happened in the past. Maybe looking into a permanent solution. I am grateful that there was water in the morning. If I am in the area again I would stay here.

I have stayed in this hotel 2 other times. They were remodeling it when I visited last time. It was nice. This time you could tell the were not caring for the property. Floors were dirty Hall not vacuumed. Repairs not done. Using COVID-19 as an excuse. Fire alarm went off the in the middle of the night last two times we have stayed there. Do yourself a favor. Go down the road.

everyone was very polite helpful and considerate we enjoyed our stay very much just was disappointed no breakfast due to corona but loved the iron and coffee pot w/cofee very much. the room was very quiet and ww were next to the elevator and ice machine i ws worried but no noise

We used this Best Western in Palmyra NY to visit family because we could not stay in their homes due to COVID precautions. It was a lovely and well-appointed hotel at a great price. Nice decor, all areas were very clean, mattresses were very comfortable and the room had nice amenities. Staff were friendly and helful.

hotel was clean room had a kitchen but stove top did not work hotel knew what room we were in without telling them it so they knew already just chose not to fix it comfortable beds no packaged food for breakfast that other hotels do for covid 19 front desk was left unattended several times when needed something

Every individual that I encountered was courteous beyond my expectations from check in to check out. Even after checkout I was contacted because I forgot my bank card at the hotel and the staff member who I spoke with was nice.

I loved the beds so much that I called to find out what beds they have so I could buy one for myself. The manager, Bob Wright went above and beyond by checking the brand and style of beds for me when I called back.

Wonderful staff, nice and clean interior, super breakfast. Accommodating, helpful, and acutely aware of guest needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in or even near Palmyra. The location is great as well.

Everything was perfect at this property. Staff friendly rooms excellent. You can change up breakfast with bacon and regular sausage and eggs doctored up with ham and cheese and peppers and onions.And some grommet coffee.

Perfectly clean, comfortable... perfect breakfast. Nice place, well run... while there on business, I was also there to go to the Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which was just a block away.

Everything was fantastic. Clean, very reasonably priced, breakfast was great. Even the snack shop was very reasonably priced (about what you would pay at a grocery store and cheaper then some convenience stores). Staff was very helpful and polite.

Great location to see the historical Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint sites. Breakfast was nice. Rooms with two beds and sleeping couch are great for families. Ask for a room at the far end of hall on the top floor to help with the noise. The walls are very thin and you can hear normal conversation in adjoining rooms. We would stay again if in the area.

In sure that you are not assigned to room 112 as it is next to the laundry facilities of the Inn/Suites and you can hear the driers tumbling and the housekeeping personnel will wake you in the morning with the chatter.

I didn't know what to expect from this hotel but it was very nice and clean and the staff was very nice. Although it did not have many amenities, the room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Although I didn't partake of the breakfast some of my family did and they said it was very good with a nice selection.

I visit the Palmyra, NY area about once every couple years. This hotel was recently rebranded as a Best Western, which works out great for me because I am already a rewards member. I was pleased to find the standards of this hotel are still held to high standards. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite comfortable and inviting. The breakfast is typical hotel type. I will continue to come here while in town on business.

Overall great stay. We booked the (2) King bed suite. Roomy and great matresses. We used and enjoyed the gym and the complimentary breakfast was diverse and well taken care of. All of the staff members were friendly, fun and quick to accommodate. My family and I all mentioned on how much we were impressed with the staff.

The bathroom, especially the tub area needed a good cleaning or spray down with a mold and mildew cleaner. But, there was lots of hot water and the water pressure was excellent. The rooms are good sized. The sheets were the scratchiest things I've ever slept on and the bed not very comfortable. Breakfast was your regular continental breakfast, but was tasty and helped make the stay more affordable.

The Inn was very very clean and nice. The breakfast was kind of typical, but the eggs were NOT the typical rubber that you get at a lot of places. Our handicapped room was very comfy and very compatible. The staff was wonderful! Good location for the pageant for the LDS church. Would stay there again.

Many mixed emotions about this place. The place was dirty. The owner or manager cares and tries and works hard. I think he struggles to find good help. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was OK. Because I was going to sites in Palmyra, this was the best choice for us.

I loved staying at the Palmyra Best Western. It was very quiet and the rooms were very big and clean. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was pretty good. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would stay again.

This hotel is much nicer than I expected and the service was wonderful. Plus it's super close to the Smith Family Farm, Sacred Grove, and Palmyra Temple. It's just five minutes from the Hill Cumorah, too. Seriously the best hotel in Palmyra for visiting church history sites.

A clean, quiet country inn. This trip was for a funeral so it was especially convenient and wonderful to be so close to my sisters house without being underfoot. Its also nice to stay so close to her on leisure visits as well.

We had been traveling for well over a week and had used a laundromat already once on our trip. We wanted to see the LDS history sites and found that this hotel not only served breakfast, but had a coin laundry room. The staff was so nice, the food was good, and the laundry room was very clean and the washers and dryers worked great. We left happier that when we came :)

First off, perfect location right in the middle of all the historic sites for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and quick. She took time to make recommendations for restaurants around and provided maps/directions for navigating around the town. She even upgraded our room free of charge. The room itself was bright, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed all the channel selections in the evenings. The Breakfast was your typical one you would find at other locations. We have a gluten allergy in our family so there wasn't very many options as far as that goes but other than that it was decent. Would have liked to see hot eggs/a meat though. We also used the laundry facility and that was clean and easy to use. Over all our stay was very pleasant and would definitely recommend this location.

We stayed for one night before a ski race at Brantling Mountain. Michelle welcomed us at the front desk, and was very helpful throughout our stay. The 2BR king suite was truly 2 separate bedrooms with a small kitchenette. Ours was a corner room upstairs. Very quiet, very updated and clean, and a very good value. The included breakfast was an added bonus. Less than 10 minutes from the Thruway exit. Absolutely loved this place and would stay again.

This place was amazing! With a family suite and laundry area. Suite was awesome to keep a eye on my kids. King beds. They could add some more protein to the breakfast. Best place we stated at on are trip.

Stayed here with a bus group. Pulled the covers back on the bed only to find loose foreign matter on the sheet. Fortunately there was another double bed in the room that was ok. Matter wasn't resolved until the next morning. Staff wasn't very friendly. At breakfast the eggs aren't the best but the waffles are good. Jelly and honey seemed to be old but overall a nice variety of items including good muffins. Probably won't be back to this area, but if we just come by ourselves we'll look for a B&B.

Beautiful area. Perfect location for visiting the LDS sites (Smith Farm, Hill Cumorah, BoM printing site, temple, etc) in and around Palmyra. You can walk to the Smith farm and temple. Hotel was pretty quiet. Bedding and carpets were clean, but the maid who cleaned our room had missed some stuff (dirt/trash) in the bathroom and on the tile floor in the kitchen. Not a huge deal. Breakfast was very good. Great location for a run along nearby farm roads, just need to pay attention to traffic as the roads are narrow and there is not much of a shoulder. Friendly, helpful staff. Very safe. They have a small shop with goodies and souvenirs, etc. We would stay there again.
