Best Western Plus Hobby Airport Inn & Suites

I had an amazing time staying here a few days before leaving for our cruise. The breakfast is great the room is spacious and very clean. I had an opportunity to meet Cyndy while checking in and shared a conversation about how I stayed at their Best Western Plus in Massapequa, NY located on Long Island my birth home. She also shared her experience of visiting New York for the first time and staying at that same location which is quite ironic but fun to hear.

We were told they had airport shuttle. They did but after waiting close to an hour we called. First time they hung up on us, second time they said maybe 10 minutes. Well finally they showed! The room was ok, could have been a bit cleaner. Walls were thin a couple next to us or above us were fighting a slamming the door. We cranked up the air conditioning an froze but solved that problem. Breakfast was ok, lots of carbs an sweets which neither of us eat. Front desk told us if we wanted to get into our room early we would have to pay an extra $50. Never heard that before. We didn't pay an got an Uber to take us somewhere to eat. We weren't going to let anything spoil our upcoming cruise. No we would never stay at this hotel again.

Great clean place to stay and good quality for the price. The desk clerks were always helpful and the transport driver was right on time. The rooms were quiet and breakfast was good. The grounds were nice and clean.

It's in a safe area. With plenty lights in the parking lot and cameras in the parking lot. Greeted with a smile. The rooms are always clean. I only suggest that if you're a light sleeper get a room towards the back.

Staff were really friendly especially Cydney. Hot breakfast with numerous options. Nice clean rooms and complimentary shuttle to and from Hobby Airport. They also have wash and dry as well as an exercise room. Check out is @ 12pm. I highly recommend

I would not recommend Best buy the mattress and the pillows was a nightmare to me. I did not rest well at all. They do not have a good selection of channels on the TV. The toilet is too low to the ground.

This was a great location. 20 minute drive to NASA. 23 minute drive to the zoo and museum. Great location! Quiet. Clean rooms and common areas. Did not hear the planes at all. Big selection at breakfast, had 3 hot options that changed daily. Plus had the waffles daily. Microwave and fridge in the room. Actually went to HEB for some meals and cooked them at the hotel. They even gave us cutlery when asked. Friendly staff. Always smiling. Will stay again! Hidden gem! Lots of free parking to boot!

Probably my best hotel experience in a while! and this is due to the great customer service. I want to thank Cyndi and loved her customer service. She was very helpful and kind making sure I was taking care of! Room was amazing and breakfast love it!

I checked in at 1am and found that the staff is still perky and accommodating which I appreciated a lot. The location is ideally situated near the Hobby Airport and not too far from downtown. Room is clean and comfortable. However, there is no built-in closet to hang your clothes. Front desk staff are helpful with special shout out to Cyndy who assisted me with my luggage and making arrangements with their shuttle service to the airport.

I recently stayed at this hotel on a family trip and received such a warm welcome from the woman at the front desk, Cyndy. She was so kind and answered all the questions my family had about the city. If you come here, ask for Cyndy!

I am staying here for the second time in a weekend. Was also at this same BW 09/07/2023- each time I was checked in by the same young lady, who did not have a name tag on and was clearly annoyed that I had disturbed her time on what appeared to be her personal phone. There was no welcome, breakast is at, heree is our little market should you want anything or anything I would want my front desk clerk to say. When I wanted to verify that I was in a handicap accessible room, her response was, "well, if you asked for it, it must be" in a very snarky tone. I could not talk with her later because she was checking on other people. But when I left in the AM, I let the new desk manager know that both the soda and candy machines off the lobby were not working. Tonight when I called to have the shuttle, I told her that I could not hear her tell me where to meet it and she finally raised her voice to tell me, then hung up on me. When I mentioned that as I checked in, she shrugged her shoulders and said, "I thought you said okay". After checking in, I asked if the vending machines had been fixed and after she said that she didn't know what I was talking about, she said, "I don't use them, so why would I know?" I went to the vending machine after asking for 10 ones in exchange for a 10 bill of which she gave me five ones and a five and it is still broken. If I were not so tired and needed to rest before I go home, I would not stay here based on her attitude and that there is also a young man that is loitering in the lobby. He was here when I arrived last Thursday just sitting and waiting for her to talk with him and he is here again tonight. I don't know if he is "security" but she is having a lot of fun chatting with him. I just wish she put a third of that energy into her job. I cannot foresee any reason that I would stay here, possibly not in any BW, if this is the caliber of personnel you hire. And yes, I will be posting a review of this situation on any and all sites.

I'm still currently staying at the Best Western Plus Mrs Cyndy is a awesome staff member she has been making sure that I'm completely comfortable and that I understand everything when it comes to reservations I would most definitely recommend to this hotel and ask for Mrs. Cyndy

Our second visit to this hotel was everything we expected. Clean room, courteous staff and close proximity to airport was just what we were looking for. Bed was a little too firm for our comfort, but I realize that is subjective.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and will book it again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Cyndy helped me check in and was very accommodating. The beds are comfortable and clean. The rooms and bathrooms are clean.

I'd say that my stay was good. You can tell some parts of the hotel have been renovated. My room was clean, customer service was great. Breakfast was okay, I'd like a few more options for the hot breakfast. Would I stay here again? Yes.

This is my favorite hotel in the area. I have stayed here many times but decided to rate it for the first time. The room was very nice, clean, and up-to-date. Cindy checked me in and made me feel valued and appreciated. She has been working here for awhile and remembers me as a frequent guest. She represents this hotel better than anyone I've ever seen. I will be back at this hotel when visiting Houston/Pearland. Totally happy.

We stayed at a different hotel our first night in Houston and when they did not have water in the pool we called Cindy at the Best Western. She had an amazing attitude even when she thought we were prank calling asking if they actually had water in the pool. Cindy greeted us with a friendly and fun attitude. For our one night stay she made it great. Lots of fun conversations!! Thank you Cindy and Best Western for actually having amazing staff and water in the pool!! FYI clean rooms and good breakfast as well.

I wax stuck in Houston due to car troubles. This hotel and their fantastic staff not only worked with me with the uncertainty of how long the stay was but the manager Maria went above and beyond taking me herself to the repair shop when it was ready. Highly recommend! Rooms have high ceilings, comfortable beds and good breakfast!

Great clean rooms and staff. Maria at the front desk is always helpful and thoughtful. She rend we rendered some of the best help at a hotel I have ever had. She was super courteous and friendly. This was a great stay i had business in Houston and the staff was nice and helpful and i even stayed a few more nights it made my job easier too. If you need a great place from the airport this would be the place to stay.

Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, and it was a convenient location for me. Solid breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage - not just some pastries. And it tasted good! The staff were all friendly but Maria was exceptional! She was so awesome helping me find a room to stay an extra night, which wasn't easy because of a big event going on.

Best hotel I've ever stayed on . Every staff was so nice specially Karla she was very helpful in my stay here. Breakfast was included and food was delicious , I will be staying again. They also have a shuttle to the airport

I travel a lot to Houston and I gave this Best Western a chance. Kristina at the front was amazing and over the top to make sure my stay was great! Room and breakfast were great as well but Kristina is the reason for this review. Will definitely stay here again because of her!

Night staff was excellent as I had to navigate possible flight disruptions due to inclement weather. However, the hotel website or personnel failed to disclose their active messy remodel. I traveled on business and had arranged for the CEO of a global company to meet me in the lobby. I arrived and she was huddled in a side room obscured by tarps trying to keep the wet paint off her clothing. It was 2 pm so I tried to check in a tad early to give us a place to meet other than the completely disassembled lobby… I was told there were no rooms available. We left to find a place to meet away from the hotel. In the morning I had hoped to grab breakfast on my way to the airport— I'm gluten free. Breakfast was low end with no consideration for food allergies. Even simply offering Cheerios, a minor concession, was not an option. Staff was friendly but the overall experience was poor.

Decent place to stay for less than twelve hours. We usually get to Hobby late at night, and leave the next morning. Rates can sometimes be a good value. No problems with the room. Breakfast better than average, with friendly service.

Shuttle driver and front desk were helpful and attentive to needs. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was well stocked and hot. I was able to arrange to leave my car there for a few days after my stay while traveling. Very pleasant experience.

Very nice hotel but they require deposit on service animals. They have a free airport shuttle and the driver is a really nice guy. The breakfast was good, much better then a lot of hotels. The rooms are very clean and hotel was very quiet.

We love this hotel and plan on returning again the people are great and service excellent just needs a little tender loving care I give it a 9/12 out of 10 only for that reason Also Breakfast was not up to par with our other two visits here

Nice inexpensive hotel right at the airport. Had what we needed except a restaurant close by. Could hear planes in the morning but they did not wake me up. Would stay here again if we ever get back to Texas again.

Arrived early (10:30 am) from a cruise ship and have a reservation for tonight. Hotel will not allow early check in to our room unless we pay for the day. Best Western Customer Relations said it's up to the property. No manager is on site. So no way to escalate. We stayed here 2 nights pre-cruise last week. Makes no difference to the property. Pay extra or sit 4 1/2 hours in the closed breakfast room. I own a travel agency and WILL NEVER put any clients here in the future. Their occupancy is low so many rooms available. Next La Quinta would allow early check in.

Great location for a quick stop in Houston. I flew into Bush was meeting friends the next morning that flew into Hobby. Highly recommend. Super comfortable - clean - friendly staff - airport shuttle so we could all meet up.

This is a great hotel to stay while in Houston, TX. Staying at theis hotel you have so many options while only a few minutes from the Hobby Airport and all the staff workers are very helpful. You have many choices of restaurants to chose from as well.

Room was very musty smelling. I went down to office and she gave me some Lysol to spray. I left for an event and came back and it still smelled. This Hotel needs new carpet in rooms and a thorough cleaning to adjust problem. The 18' X 18' pillows were terrible. This is not the usual for Best Western Plus Hotels. Breakfast was very good.

Not quite sure why this is considered a Best Western Plus property. Seemed like a regular Best Western. Sofa sleeper did not have linen nor pillows in the room, had to ask for them at the desk. The air conditioner vent was located behind a bedroom door that opened onto the return vent blocking it. Hotel was noisy, as we were placed on the 2nd floor over the breakfast area. We asked for the top floor of hotel if possible when making the reservation.

We spent one night here for an early morning flight. Price was great. This hotel is close to Hobby, and has shuttles leaving every 30 minutes. Check in was easy, mattresses were comfortable, and the internet was good. There is only one elevator, but we did not have long wait times. Plenty of parking. My only issue is that breakfast starts at 6:30. For those with early morning flights, this maybe too late (as it was for us).' However, if you do not have an early AM flight, this will not be an issue.

Business trip was amazing. Great breakfast, friendly staff and a nice and clean property both outside and in. My room was cleaned everyday. They made me feel welcomed and right it home. Great recommendations on dining out.

My room was clean and spacious. The whirlpool tool was large. It took awhile to fill and the hot water faucet was leaking slightly. The breakfast was just ok and there were a lot of options to choose from. The bed was clean and comfortable. I did not notice the sounds from the airport. I felt safe on the premises.

I wanted to commend front desk employee Cristal for being proactive and alert. I had inadvertently left my memory stick in the USB port, after completing some work on the hotel computer at the business support area. Cristal noticed it after I had left, and brought it to my room the same night. It was fortunate and timely, as we were checking out early morning to catch a flight.

My family kept getting bumped from their flights at Houston Hobby Airport so we booked a room here at the non-refundable rate. Unexpectedly they got on a flight at the last minute about 2 hours after I booked it! I called the hotel and explained the situation to Aaron. Aaron was kind enough to not only cancel the reservation but refunded the money. Thank you SO much - when we come to Houston again, we will make a point to stay at your hotel…as a planned stay.

As always, all was GREAT! I've stayed there 18-19 years and will next year as well. I leave before breakfast, 4 a.m. but back in the day it was very good. Room service excellent. Location i s12 miles or so from Reliant but an easy drive that time if the morning. Kelly's & several other cafes are handy. Staff is just Great!

My laptop was broken and i relied on the business center to do some work. While i generally do not use public wifi, i was confident in the ability offline to securely create, print and store material on a flashdrive. The two work stations were in good working order. Several other guests utilized the equipment printing boarding passes and accessing email while i completed my tasks. Providing this service is a customer service necessity i rely on from hotels, and i am grateful to Hobby BW. p.s. The room was quiet and very comfortable, and the coffee/breakfast was tasty. While airport hotels around Hobby appear rundown, this BW was clean and parking lot secure.

Very nice accommodations. Only spent one night but would definitely recommend this location to family members. Very reasonable rate. Easy access to enter. Excellent size room for the rate I paid. I had a king size bed and it was very comfortable.

Conveniently located 4 minutes from Hobby Airport and car rental lot. Fairly nice suite, clean and we'll set up. Average hot and cold breakfast was good but ends way early (9:30 am) even on weekends. Front desk was responsive when extra towels were needed BEWARE! Airport shuttle does NOT start until 5 am in spite of being told we'd be able to get the shuttle at 3:15 am for our 5 am flight. We were lucky to get an Uber which I felt the hotel should have offered to pay

Room was beautiful.when I moved dresser to charge my cell there was condom wrapper and dirty sock. I stayed two nights, front desk checked me out and charged me twice deposit. Front desk was not helpful nor knowledgeable.

During check-in, day desk staff was not very friendly, nothing to make me feel special during the wait, although I was early, I felt like a bother… however, the hotel was in top notch condition, decorated beautifully, especially for the holiday occasion. The breakfast was well-taken care of and offered a variety. The night desk staff and custodial staff were very friendly and what appeared to be a manager walked by and asked how are things, so he was visible. The two- night stay was better than I expected for a Best Western.

Comfortable hotel just a few minutes from the Hobby airport. Our room was very spacious. Hanging space was somewhat limited. The bathroom had an enormous counter. The shower (no tub) was also quite large. The ventilation fan was powerful if a bit noisy. Temperature in the room was easily controlled by the unit under the window. There were ample power plugs available but no USB ports. We didn't try the provided breakfast because we had a very early flight that morning. Recommended.

My wife and I recently spent a Friday night at the Best Western Plus Hobby Airport Houston, TX. We were traveling with family (including three young children) and required three rooms for a one night layover. We picked the hotel for several reasons: (1) its location - it was near the airport. (2) it offered a free airport shuttle - which for some reason doesn't run from noon to 2pm. (3) it offers a free breakfast & (4) its price, since we just needed a place for the one night. We booked the rooms online and paid $105.29 (with tax) for our specific room using our AARP discount. The hotel is located just outside the airport property. Outdoor parking is free. It's on a fairly busy street. There really are not any restaurants nearby, so the front desk supplies a list of local restaurants that deliver, including a separate list of pizza places. We opted to order pizzas. The lobby decor is fairly modern. Check-in was perfunctory. Overall, the hotel was clean. But the carpeting near the entry door to our room was pretty beat-up and stained. There is a fitness center. An outdoor pool is also available, but we didn't use either of these amenities. There also is free WiFi. Our room (222) came with two queen beds. Decor was traditional. There was a table/desk and three chairs. The closet (hidden behind a full-length mirror) housed an iron and ironing board. There was also a coffee maker, flatscreen TV, microwave and small refrigerator. The room directly overlooked another hotel and a garbage bin. Road noise was noticeable, but not overbearing. Toilet flushing is extremely vigorous, so much so, that we could hear the mechanism being used in the room next to us. The bed was comfortable. It came with four pillows. The AC worked fine. The bathroom was a bit smallish with a walk-in shower, which was quite narrow. There was a hairdryer and a selection of Pharmacopia citrus toiletries. Shower pressure was fine. The breakfast area is off the lobby/lounge. A full breakfast was included with the room; it offered the usual cold options, as well as some hot items. The hotel is centrally located to where we needed to visit and is close to airport. It was clean and the breakfast was decent. Price was less than other hotels in the area and this one seemed like it was nicer based on my observations.

With our business being with Dope House Records we travel to Houston very often and we love staying at the Best Western Airport. Everyone is always so nice and courteous. Thank you so the staff for always being on your toes.

Do not stay at this hotel. We experienced the worst customer service. The person at the front desk on 9/13/21 around noon was so rude we couldn't believe she did not respond when I said hello and then rudely said sit down we don't have any rooms ready without asking who we were to even check our reservation. We sat in the lobby for 2 hours with out any communication to us when our room might be ready. In the meantime she checked in other guests. Then she lied and said we booked the handicap room which we did not. There are plenty of other bad reviews for this hotel. There are many better options in the area. DO NOT STAY here. Even our cab driver told us it was not a good place and said they will be out of business soon.

Very clean and friendly. Everyone was very helpful. The hotel was great. We were able to leave our car and get a shuttle to and from hotel to airport. We will definitely be back. Overall great and convenient!

My reservation was for one night and because of SWA delays, I almost didn't have room. I was given a suite that wasn't like any other suites of Best Western. I was very unhappy with the room and rate, but since I'm always staying BW's and Hobby Airport Hotel, I accepted the room.

Close to the airport. Very Friendly staff at check-in and also the night person who help us with a computer issue. Not much to eat in the area but Lyft came into great use. Went to the Houston Space Center for a tour a must if you never been to the Houston area.

Smaller rooms, but very nice and clean. Full breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful. Georgie who works the front desk went out of her way to help me with a few things. I would stay there again and recommend it to everyone

My family stayed at this hotel the day before and the day after our cruise. Their shuttle service picked us up and the next day dropped us off where Carnival shuttle picked us up to take us to Galveston to catch the ship. It was very easy. I called and they were there within 10 min. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mercy who was working the front desk. She was so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and had what we needed. They served a hot breakfast every morning and coffee 24/7. The pool is small but we did not use it so I have no opinion other than that. The day we disembarked our cruise we arrived at the hotel around 10 am. Although our rooms were not available until 3, Mercy was kind enough to store our luggage in a locked storage room so that we could enjoy the rest of the morning without tugging those bags around. Overall the stay was great and the price was good. I would stay here again. Thanks again Mercy for making our stay a very positive experience.

Travelled with friends for a cruise. Easy shuttle both to the hotel and then back the next morning to catch the cruise transportation. Reasonable breakfast in light of COVID restrictions, but note they will not offer it to you and you will need to specifically go to the front desk and ask for it. No dinner available within walking distance, but the very friendly young lady at the front desk provided us menus and let us know who delivered directly and who offered third party delivery. She told us to feel free to use the breakfast tables for out dinner, which was so much easier than eating in our room. Room was clean and a good value for the price and well located for our purposes. I give it a four as the morning staff was not friendly. No close dinner (which is not their fault, but a fact) and the unfriendly morning staff are what keep me from giving it 5s across the board.

This hotel is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in lately. I thought it was brand new but found out it wasn't. We got a good breakfast to go bag which was very good. We'll definitely be back!! Joyce

My family and I stayed here after being on a cruise for a week prior to flying home. We were away to make a reservation without a problem and secured it with a credit card. Upon check in we were told that it would be an authorization of $100 deposit for the room in addition to the room rate due to the incidents from previous guests. Ok fine my husband used a different card to pay for the room plus deposit which was to total $211.14. later that day after checking his account he noticed the pending charge was actually more. My husband complained and was told that they only submitted for the $211.14. I then checked the card I made the reservation with and noticed that there was a pending charge for the just the room. So now collectively we have pending charges for 2 room rates and deposit. So both of us go back down to the front desk for an explanation. This time the lady could not explain why theses charges showed up and ended up calling security on us. My husband then called the Houston Police. Only after they showed up was she able to explain what happened. We were told that the card we made the reservation with was authorized the morning of check in prior to us arriving because that will let them.know if they can still hold the room or let it go. Keep in mind that we have not even checked in yet and this hotel also has a free cancellation policy. Next day we check out to catch our flight, we.check.our accounts and notice that there is yet another charge on the card I made the reservation with for $211.14. So now there is 3 charges between our accounts. Also, this happened to several other guests while we were there.

None of our credit cards worked at the front desk, debit cards either. This is impossible. Most of the cards are zero balance and there is a bunch of money in our main account. So now we have to pay cash. Luckily we had some. Then they have to hold 100 dollars because we didn't put a credit card on file. So we go to the room and the remote control doesn't work. Then we get a whirlpool room but there is no hot water in the tub. Shower in the bathroom has hot water, but none for the bubble tub. Strange. Something wrong with the diverter apparently. Ugh. Then no hot breakfast just a brown bag. No no no. The girl at the front desk was very nice, that's the silver lining.

The accommodations were clean and quiet, and the staff was courteous. The layout of the rooms and of the lobby was tasteful. Guest parking proved convenient and practical, and the business center was easily accessible. Therefore, I would recommend the hotel to travelers.

Hotel staff was friendly, VERY clean, comfortable, had a shuttle to the airport and safe to leave my car for a couple of days. If you are a Best Western member, the rates are a little better. The hotel was great, breakfast was very good for a sack lunch style breakfast (sausage cheese biscuit) yogurt, OJ, apple, and granola bar. Coffee in Lobby. Good place!!

I've stayed at this property twice this year for family visits. It is perfect for these trips in terms of convenience (less than a mile from the airport with a very friendly and helpful airport shuttle driver) and comfort (clean room, nice linens, comfortable bed, re-furbished bathroom that looks like new, easy to use microwave, and a fridge that keeps things as cold as I want). Plus I felt quite safe on the property. Every morning I was downstairs early getting coffee and always saw staff cleaning the common areas. On my most recent stay, there was a snafu with my bill that was quickly and courteously cleared up by asst mgr Ashley. I really appreciated that and it will keep me coming back.

Hotel is clean, There's not much the staff can do to go the extra mile for you because the owners have limitations on everything including how many towels you're allowed to have. Typical foreign owners that don't operate within American customs. Yes we have a certain way we do things in our country too. Van will not accommodate you. Overall stay was good, had a bad run in with one of the staff members hanesh. I'm assuming he was related to the owners because of how much of a tool he was. You know the type... if we were in public in sure he would've had a different tone. Front Desk ladies and housekeeping staff were great!

We checked in in the front desk was friendly during check-in. When we got to our room there was still food in the refrigerator from the people that were there before us and it was dirty towels in the bathroom. When do use the laundry room on site could not use the washer because it was full of sand went to the front desk and they gave me a bucket of water to clean out the washer myself. In the morning when we went for breakfast and the lady was very rude and slammed my kids breakfast on the counter instead of handing it to them and then she was rude during check out and check out took about 20 minutes.

Great location, few minutes from airport, Very good room, and a great clean, Shiny restroom. Free smoke odor, free humidity odor. Is hard to get a Good place at last minute and Definitely here I got more than I spectate.

I especially love this hotel because it is directly across the street from the Parking Spot, an airport shuttle park and ride. The Best Western works for me cause I usually have early morning flights so I check in the night before. The rooms are so nice and comfortable.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was not the most modern and updated hotel as I expected it to be, as it was a Best Western Plus, but I had no complaints during my entire stay.

Charged me $150 deposit for stained linen. My kids had cheetos on the cover. La quinta it right behind best western I suggest going there. I had a great stay there. If you have kids stay away. They will take the your money

the outside was clean, the lobby area was clean. the check in and out time was reasonable. the room was very clean. the bed was very comfortable. they offer a bag and go breakfast. it seems like they are taking precautions to protect guests during this pandemic.

Staff was OK but they need to monitor the hallways and elevators. The elevators were slow and obviously not new, but they could be cleaner since there was debris around that should have been swept up.

I loved everything about it here! They treated us with respect and was so understanding. (We are part of the Texas winter storm so we lost everything due to burst pipes and flooding.)Especially Georgie!!! She was the sweetest person that I ran across there. I love the compassion that she showed us and she made our stay worth the while!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The check-in staff was amazing the facility was clean and modern I felt safe there, grab and go breakfast was decent. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in the area. Thank you for everything!!

Horrible place to stayed, unsafe and don't recommend this hotel. Very disappointed because I'm a Best Western member, and I been travel and stay to many different Best Western location over around the world.

They do have a shuttle, limited hours. Offer brown bag breakfast nothing special, muffin apple and granola bar with a bottle of water. Room was ok had microwave and coffee maker. No restaurants really within nighttime walking distance so used Uber.

Close to Hobby Airport. Easy access to the I45. Quick service and clean room. Quiet. The WiFi was in good working order. I usually try to stay at Best Westerns, and they can be uneven, but I have to say this one one of the really good ones.

It was very welcoming to be acknowledged as a Diamond Member at Check-In & offered a Comp Upgrade as well. The hotel followed COVID-19 not only for themselves but the guest. I had a few minor issues in the room that I informed the front desk about. They offered immediately attention but I declined as I was in town for one night. I did email upper management with my concerns. But yet to hear from anyone after a month.

Stayed before a flight out in the morning. Rm 302. The negatives: Didn't know about the $150 deposit due at check-in for a $60 room. The whole place smells really musty and like cigarette smoke. Spots on the ceiling (freaks me out) Rm 302 is by big transformers and the HWY The positives: Courteous front desk people Great rate Free parking while you travel for a couple of days. Free shuttle to the airport Fairly clean

Staff is very friendly, suite room is nice and large . A few broken switch plates and shower door wouldnt stay closed. Overall this hotel is wonderful and comfortable. Next time we will avoid 1st floor due to how loud the halls are.

Found the room to be very clean though poorly maintained. Staff seemed to be doing us a favor being open and had to be forced to deal with rude arguing/partying guests to finally stop the slamming doors and loud language which finally stopped around 2:30am.

A nice clean and quiet hotel. All the front desk stall were very helpful. Check-in and check-out was fast and easy. The only problem I had was with the internet not working sometimes, but everything else was just fine, including the service staff. I will definitely stay there again.

Georgie was wonderful! Her smiling face, pleasant demeanor, and friendly attitude was just what I needed after the long, hectic day that I'd had. Patricia was also very pleasant. They made me and my son feel welcome. Thanks to these two ladies, we now have a home away from home. Whenever we visit Houston again, we will definitely stay here and will recommend this property to our traveling family and friends.

Loved the airport location and access to the freeway system. Common areas a little tired and the in room PTAC's probably need to be serviced. The service was good. Georgie at the front desk was fantastic. So helpful, positive, friendly, and professional. Will be back for business soon and will stay here again.

Rooms are perfect and a great deal for when you need to stay over night for long trips. Close to the airport and clean. Shout out to Georgie who was so welcoming and so helpful in everyway. She made our over night stay on the way back from a long trip nice and refreshing when we were on our last legs!

Mercy was very helpful. Had problems getting a pizza delivered, spoke to Mercy and she took care of it. Arrived early and there was no problem checking in. The room was clean. Nice, would stay again !

I've been a rewards member for about a year-and-a-half I love best Western & I love you rewards program. That night before I got to this BW I had a reservation at the BW regency in Baytown, Tx Marisol was the lady working. I had virtual travel cards and a $30 coupon I received for completing the 3 stays receive $60 rewards you had recently. She informed me she could not take those at the desk that I had to call and take care of that on the phone when I make my reservation. I told her I have used these many times and they always take them at check in. She said "well I cant take them your gonna have to call" so I called and talked to reservations there in the lobby was on the phone about 20 minutes and they told me that they don't do it on the phone they take them at the desk when I check in which I already knew. So when I told Marisol he said you take them here it seemed to upset her a bit. She said "well you have to print them out" I told her normally I will email them and that would print them for me so she quickly spouted out the email to me I didnt catch all of it so I asked her if she could repeat it she did very slowly she seemed to be getting frustrated and have an attitude. I could be wrong because she was not really rude per say but when she said the email back to me it was slow and the way she did it made me feel like she thought maybe I was mentally slow or like I was a child. So she printed them out it was $40 worth. The $30 one and a $10 virtual travel card. Now I was on a budget I had called before I got there and asked about a cash deposit for incidentals because I didn't have the funds in by bank account to cover but I had cash. She said it was $50 deposit. Which was perfect I had enough cash for deposit and for room. When she asked me for my card I told her I was paying cash she said she had to have a card and it was $100 deposit. I told her I had just called and you told me it was $50 and I could use cash. She said because I was using vouchers it was $100 and it had to be on a card plus the full price for the room because she didn't know if my vouchers were any good. I live 2+ hours away in a small town my bank is small with only a few branches plus it was night time there was no way I could put money in my account I explained that to her and assured her the vouchers were good and asked if there was any way for her to check. She said there wasnt. I told her I can do the $100 deposit and room in cash she said the deposit had to be on card. By this time I'm getting frustrated she is being short and punchy with me. I explained my situation and asked if there was anything she could do she said no. I said I've been using BW for awhile and have never had this much trouble and an employee not want to help in fact it felt like she just wanted me to go away. So I said you know what nevermind I'll just go somewhere else she said ok and quickly grabbed up my vouchers she had printed and pushed them in my hands and said I'll cancel your reservation. I asked her her name said Marisol I said thank you have a good evening and left. It was the worst experience I've had with BW. So I then drove to the BW by hobby about 40 min away. There I was greeted by Georgie. I explained my situation and what happened with the other BW. She was so nice and a bit shocked at how I was treated. She said she had not yet dealt with travel cards but assured me she would take care of it and get me in a room asap. I walked outside to tell my wife something and by the time I got back inside she was getting off the phone and said ok Mr. Morgan we're gonna get you fixed up. I explained about having cash only she said that's fine it's $100 deposit and she was gonna go ahead and apply my vouchers and charge me the price of the room minus the $40 which I was very grateful for. She was extremely nice and so very helpful. She apologized for any inconveniences I had in dealing with the other BW. She gave me my welcome gift for being a rewards member and said she also gave me the 500 points for my inconvenience. I know she's not supposed to do both but I thought that was very very nice of her. All said and done she had me in a room in about 10 minutes but more than that she made me feel relaxed and stress free again she reminded me why I love Best Western. Her customer service and eagerness to help me was unmatched. I could not express enough how grateful I was to her. She restored my faith in BW I will continue to enjoy BW and your rewards program for years to come. Thank you Georgie!!

Very nice hotel at a very reasonable price. Very clean and very comfortable beds. Easy to find from Houston Hobby. I was concerned about it being too close to the airport, but we never heard any plane traffic. Nice breakfast with more choices then most. Highly recommended.

I arrived and checked in in a mater of minutes I arrived to my room everything was nice and clean and organized, the receptionist called a few moments later to see if my room was up to my standards and satisfaction. I had a good night's sleep in my room the breakfast was nice and warm.

We stayed here the night before we were leaving for a cruise out of Galveston. The hotel wasn't too far from highway 45. Convenient area. About 35 minutes from the port without traffic. I would stay there again.

As usual, BW staf it's extremely helpful, the suites at this location are classy and very spacious , the entire hotel smell great!! Couldn't ask for a better place to sleep great after a long business day ..

Comfortable,clean,quiet,friendly and a real bargain. I was traveling out of Hobby and it was very close making it very convenient. Quick shuttle ride after a good nights sleep and breakfast. I would highly recommend recommend this hotel when traveling out of this airport much better price then som of the others unless you need an on-site restaurant

Great hotel to stay at when flying out of Hobby Airport. Comfortable rooms. Newer property. Shuttle leaves every 30 mins on the hour and half hour. It's shared with the sister La Quinta property. Upon return, we called the lobby and within 20 mins the shuttle picked us up at the hotel pick up area ( area 14 ) We called at 5:10 and we were at the hotel by 5:45. First 7 days are included in the slightly inflated hotel rate. 7 nights parking and hotel for about $125. Pretty good deal especially if you live 150 miles from Hobby and you have an early flight

My 80 year old mother and myself 60 are both very handy capped this was our first stay here, we had to in load the car I had very little energy left after traveling all day neither my mom or I could move to unload the car. Mercy, is an Angel she not only unloaded the car but she brought our bags to the room. I zipped tied my luggage shut and left my clippers in my luggage shut. Out of no where Mercy called on the phone to check in with us. I said I zip tied my luggage and my clippers were in my luggage she quickly ran scissors down to me. I cut my bag open. So after a physically and emotionally draining day of traveling, my mother and I are safe relaxed in a very beautiful room in a very beautiful place. With An Angel Named Mercy. Thank you Mercy for going Above and Beyond what is required by a Hotel Employee. You were Truly our Angel. Your mercy on us helped more then you know. God Bless you for the rest of your life.

Flew in and spent the night and had a very restful nights sleep. The hotel staff was very helpful an knowledgeable. Will definently stay here again. They were very helpful in getting us to and from the airport.

The room is very good and clean but would like to have 2 chairs in the room to sit instead of one chair present. The staff are very nice and caring. The jetted tub was not working properly, is very clean.

Always clean, good breakfast, friendly staff and very fair pricing for what you get for your dollar. I have stayed at this hotel for many years now and have never had an unpleasant incident. I travel on business a lot and always stay here when I am in town. In my opinion Best Western gives the best value out there.

We stayed for one night prior to our cruise out of Galveston. This Best Western was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good as continental breakfasts go. We would stay in this hotel again if we are ever in the area. There are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance if you need a place to eat.

This looks like a pretty new property. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Also, it was quiet, never heard the planes taking off or landing. Airport shuttle every 30 minutes was convenient. I would ask for a room on the 3rd floor as the only disturbance was the guy above us stomping around at 3am.

Close to airport. Nice and clean. Great breakfast. Nice breakfast people. Night Front desk people need to smile some. The van needs to be nicer, although the drivers were very friendly. Will stay there again!

The hotel was great. They let me leave my bags early and come back later to check in. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was traveling for business and did not have much time for any of the other amenities.

Me my wife and kids stayed at this location last week and it was great the front desk clerk mercy was the greatest she made sure we where comfortable and even called our room to make sure we where ok she and the other staff including housekeeping where good to us defenitly will be booking again..

I had taken a week off for my birthday and previosly decided I was gonna book the stay at bestwestern plus. I had comfortable bed and so did my family, I definitely enjoyed the breakfast that had plenty of options to choose from.

The staff especially (Georgie) were very professional and helpful, location was clean and well kept, good morning breakfest,great location next to the airport. The price was also good, if a came back through Houston, I would stay at this location again.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western so we could be close to Houston Hobby Airport while in Houston visiting family. The front desk staff was very accommodating, breakfast buffet was good, room was clean and quiet and they have shuttle bus service to the airport.

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean. Bed was comfortable. Ac work. Has fridge, microwave, flat screen Tv. Got upgraded to a suite after asking since we were a diamond member, location is in the airplane path. Really didn't hear the noise. Will stay here again if in the area.

Check in was very quick with friendly staff, told if required anything else just ask. Room was large & fresh, had a fridge a microwave as well as coffee making machine. Good supply of towels & toiletries. Air conditioning in room to keep cool, room cleaned each day by housekeeping. Breakfast was help yourself each day traditional American fare cereals, muffins waffles etc. With cooked items rotated daily. Help yourself to tea & coffee in the breakfast room throughout. The location is just right for use, with public transport near by & cheap so you could give up the car a break.

The room was very spacious and quiet. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was hot and orderly. Shuttle driver was pleasant and very helpful. Knew airport well and made sure all my luggage was together inside the airport.

Haven't seen my Parents since May and for me that's a long time since I've moved to Texas I drove in to Houston from Arlington and they drove in to Houston from New Orleans and we had a weekend just having a great time

We come to the Hobby Airport area almost every month to visit family in the area and always stay at the Best Western Plus Hobby Airport when we can. They check all the boxes being in the right location, clean, quiet, friendly, helpful and secure. Their breakfast is always more than adequate. The only issue we have ever had was with the room AC failing to keep the room cool and the staff did all they could to remedy that issue. We will definitely continue to frequent the Best Western Plus Hobby when we visit the area.

Very good, Fast, friendly service and clean and well appointed room. This pretty well describes my experience at the hotel and there is nothing else I can offer. My experience was positive and I would not hesitate to stay there again in future.

Property and rooms are clean, rates are good and they offer on site parking for short trips. My only complaint is that the day person on duty when I check continues to not email my receipt even though I always request express check out. I personally asked her on this trip to honor the express checkout and send the bill but AGAIN, I had to call the property early in the evening and ask for it to be sent again. For some reason, she sent it twice, thinking that would be better than a single transmission. MAYBE if she sent it when she was supposed to the first time she would realize it would prevent another annoying call for something that is so simple.

service was great because the agents new we were tired, called us by name. had the room ready to for to sleep. check out early for flight in the morning with transportation ready. it was simple and easy.

It was our first time in Houston and we needed a nice place to stay after having a terrible experience with a prior booking. This hotel was nearby, had no problems accommodating four tired (and slightly grumpy) guests in a hurry. The staff was friendly, attentive, the room was on point, very comfortable! We left quite early the next day, but completely satisfied.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times as I fly into Houston Hobby when visiting family and have always been greeted with a friendly smile and great customer service. The hotel is quiet, comfortable and has a great breakfast. The airport shuttle is available 24 hours a day and is very convenient.

Very welcoming staff. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh! I used the pool and it was very clean as well. Breakfast was served hot with several options. I would highly recommend staying for a night or a couple nights when in town.

We decided at the last minute to enjoy a "staycation" away from family/friends/work/stress. The consideration of the staff and the conveniences the facility were provided were excellent. We enjoyed our time away in a nice comfortable room complete with a whirlpool!!!

My husband and I spent 3 nights here at the beginning of a TX trip, and one night at the end. Both check ins were quick and friendly. The lobby is attractive. The building overall shows signs of wear and tear but looks clean. Our 1st room was comfortable with plenty of counter space in the bathroom and a comfortable bed. WiFi and AC worked well. Around 4/4:30 AM we heard slamming doors as I assume people were getting ready to leave for flights. There were also bumping/thumping sounds above and next door to our room and loud talking in the hallway. Breakfast in the AM had the basics: waffles, breads, cereals, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, fruit, tortillas, fruit, yogurts and beverages. Wished they had a tea variety and more protein/low sugar options. Our 2nd stay was the most "memorable". We spent one night before flying out the next day, but got little sleep. First we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, but upon opening the door we were hit by a strong perfume smell of a room cleaner. It was so strong that we asked for a different room. This time we were assigned to a room on the 1st floor, which also had the same smell but not quite as strong. Not wanting to move again, we stayed but later regretted the decision. I noticed that the room door fit loosely in the frame and left cracks around the edges. The sound of doors slamming was worse than during our first stay. The room was basic size and had outdated decor. Furniture showed obvious signs of wear. We could also hear highway noise outside the window. The worst part was the family staying next door with kids. They began fighting in the early evening...yelling, screaming, pounding on the room door. It would stop..then start up again. There was no response from the front desk which was just down the hall. We should have called, but the fighting would stop and things were quiet for awhile...then start up again. More door slamming and screaming by mother and kids. They were finally quiet around 10:30. Then around 11:30 a beeping alarm sound could be heard from the room across the hall. It didn't stop so people were peeking into the hall. My husband got dressed and went to the front desk. A clerk came to the room and knocked, but the people wouldn't let her in and claimed the shower steam set off the smoke alarm. The sound went on for another 15-20 minutes before it finally stopped. We got back to sleep, but were waked up again around 7:00 AM by the family next door fighting again. It was not a good stay, despite the reasonable price. We would go elsewhere if staying in this area again.

It was a very quiet and comfortable stay, i will be staying again,,for sure.great place has a lot to offer, area is awesome, so many shopping centers to choose from, restaurants, whatever you and your family left behind or need to get to m its all in the Hobby area" i truly enjoyed my stay

Overall customer service was good. Breakfast was good too, a variety in the breakfast items. Room was clean. Air conditioning unit in the room was musty, the room smelled like humidity. The hotel is close to Hobby airport and it's reason why we stayed at Best Western Plus Hobby Aiport Inn & Suites. I travel to Houston several times a year and will need to look into the mustiness of the room assigned next time if I decide to stay at hotel. Otherwise, it was a good hotel for the amount of days I was in Houston this time around.

We stayed here to be near the airport to catch an early flight. I didn't catch the name of the lady at the front desk but she was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean in the lobby and also the room. The breakfast was well apportioned and maintained. The assorted snacks and sundries available for purchase in the lobby is a wonderful idea. I will stay here again when I visit the area.

I was woke up by some very loud people in the lobby at about 0200. When we woke up we found a roach crawling up the wall. In the lobby there was crushed potato chips on the ground in front of the check in desk. The person behind the counter just left it there and didn't clean It up. The only good thing was it was close to the airport.

The shuttle driver picked me up at the rental return location after I dropped off the rental car. Great service. Excellent free breakfast and good shuttle service to the airport. Desk staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations (not much nearby).

We have found that when we are taking a very early flight our of Hobby Airport it is much easier to spend the night and have the hotel take us to the airport in the morning than getting up hours earlier to make the long drive in the morning since we live north of Houston.

Very fast trip. The only problem is nothing to eat before 0600. I had eary flght and nothing to snack on. Room amendments were good and clean. Shuttel was on time with a large early group but got it all in.

We could not have asked for a better overnight stay. Room was nice & clean, bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and professional. We would highly recommend this motel if you want to be close to Hobby.

The pillows first and foremost are horrible. Honestly the worst nights sleep we've ever had. The room had a smell that wasn't horrible but it wouldn't go away. Plan on grabbing breakfast when you are on your way to your destination.

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast provided a variety of options. The location is close to the airport. My family and I stayed here the night before going to Galveston for our cruise. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport and we booked Galveston Shuttle to take us to the cruise ship.

The rooms were very clean and the decor was updated and very nice. Beds and pillows were so comfy. Loved the new showers the walk ins are so much better than the combo tub ND shower. Breakfast was hot and tasted great.

The hotel information is misleading, as the words "Pet Friendly" appear alongside "Free Parking," "Free Continental Breakfast" and "Free Wi-fi." To find the actual fee, you have to scroll all the way down to, yes literally, the words "FINE PRINT." The charge of $50 for one night was nearly the price of the room itself.

Nice hotel. Courteous, professional staff. Clean, spacious room. I always choose BW wherever it is available. Hotels are always nice and staffs are obviously well trained in customer service. On top of that, BW hotels are located almost everywhere!

I stayed at this hotel on 4/24/19 and 4/30/19 on arrival and predeparture f at Hobby airport. This is a very good hotel with recent improvements. It is close to the airport, rental car facilities and access to highways (freeways and tollways). The hotel is quiet and peaceful for sleeping even with its proximity to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel. I had a junior king suite on arrival and a standard king room on the departure night. Both rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds.

Due to flight cancellations at Houston Hobby, I was forced to find a place to stay in Houston, and I ended up at this airport. The facility was attractive and the room was very nice, but the best feature for this airport hotel was the shuttle service that was available every 30 minutes even in the early morning hours when I needed to be back at the airport. My only knock was that their breakfast service did not begin until 6:30 which is later than about any motel that I have stayed in (most begin at 6), and especially for an airport hotel, this policy means that many travelers, including myself, had no access to any breakfast. It would have been nice if they at least made juices and perhaps some other "grabbable" items available earlier than 6:30.

The hotel is currently being remodeled, however they made sure that it didn't disrupt the guests. Everyone there was friendly. It is nice and clean. Nice hot breakfast every morning. It is right by the airport. If you are using a rental car the rental car drop of is a couple of minutes away. It was a perfect location for what we needed.

The room was awesome. Comfortable. Even the lounge chair. Bathroom was great too very high end for under $100 especially. You never know what you're gonna get for a $90 room and we were blown away. Will choose this hotel again. Very convenient to airport also

Arrived Friday afternoon, quick and easy check in then up to our room. Clean, well kept, everything working in fine order. Houston was to be our starting point for our golf vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico great nights rest. Shuttled to the airport. Everything perfect. The following Saturday night we returned to the inn and again everything was excellent. Breakfast buffet was well stocked fresh and hot. Great stay at both ends of our trip. A big thanks to all!

Live 2 hours away from the Hobby area, so I stayed the night to allow me to catch a red eye flight out of Hobby. Left my car for a week at the hotel. Good room, good service, good price, good drop off and pick up shuttle.

We arrived and were greeted by very friendly staff, the room was spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing, perfect after a long day of travel! I wish there had been an easier way to get in and out of the hot tub. But over all we had a wonderful stay! When in the area we would defiantly stay there again!

It's a nice place and good value for a stay over. It was older than I anticipated but clean. Location is a plus cause it's close to rent-a-car and airport. A free breakfast in the morning was a plus...

Was just there last week. Hard to know what was going on as the place was doing a lot of room remodeling. Or some type of construction. Are they converting to being a "Plus" from a regular BW? I hope so because this one did not live up to the BWP standards I've had at other Plus hotels. Yes, it was clean and the staff was friendly, but it didn't have the "luxury" vibe of other Plus hotels. One elevator. Small breakfast area. Beds were way too firm for my taste. Had back issues after being there for a week. No desk, but there was a small table, refrigerator and a microwave that I couldn't figure out how to use. The toilet quit working our last morning there, so that made it difficult to doing our morning business and get ready to depart. One day our room didn't get made up until 6pm. Weird, but I figured it had something to do with the construction going on. No restaurants or shopping within walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel as lay over before going on a cruise. I only needed it for one night. The price is always reasonable, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable. Breakfast included is filling, I usually do coffee and yogurt, but if I want a waffle or cereal, etc...there are good options for a morning meal. I usually look for Best Western when going out of town. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My flight was cancelled and I needed a last minute hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the Best Western. Incredibly convenient to both the rental car return place & the airport. The airport shuttle was perfect! Hotel was very clean, friendly staff and a great price for what I needed it for.

Although the website pictures are a bit misleading making it look fancier than what it is, I really liked this hotel. It's in the middle of some updating but everything was very clean, the staff was super friendly, breakfast okay but not great, and a shuttle at 6 p.m. to a limited # of nearby restaurants was very convenient. The price was very good and I found an even lower price when I checked about a week before my arrival.

I am really angry at the person who assigned rooms for Jan 31, 2019. I booked 3 weeks in advance plus included a note that my husband has lung/heart issues and cannot walk very far so needed a room close to the elevator. Did that person take that into account? No, that person did not. Can only assume since we weren't paying cash customers (Diamond using point for a free night) they stuck us as far away as possible. Will try to find another hotel in the future.

Great hotel at a great price, way better than any other hotel in the area at a very comfortable price, I didn't try the breakfast but it was included in the rate, very clean and friendly staff at the hotel and front desk

It had been awhile since staying with Best Western. Upon checkin, I was pleasantly surprised on how nice this hotel was. It is rated as a 3 star, but in my opinion - it is really a 4 star in quality. Nicefree breakfast area, comfortable lobby, pleasant staff. My room was nicely furbished with 42"+ Flat screen, Microwave, Refrigerator, desk and chairs, excellent bed / Mattress. Probably the best nights sleep for a number of days. Everything about the place is fresh and nice, no wear and tear - excellent bathrooms with full features. They have a pool , gym and airport shuttle, which makes a dinner run to local restaurants each evening and every 30 minutes to Houston Hobby Airport which is about 3 minutes away.

There were three people in my party on this particular stay. We had a clean, comfortable room with two Queen beds, microwave,and refrigerator. The housekeeping services were absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff are top of the line in my opinion. They treat us like family and truly care about your comfort in this hotel. We love staying there and its always our number one place to call when we stay in Houston.

I recently had the opportunity to spend a night at the Best Western Plus near Houston's Hobby Airport. I arrived late, as is usual when I fly in. The desk personnel were kind and friendly even at the late hour. The appearance of the facility was clean and light. The room was comfortable and the price point was very agreeable. Overall in was a fine experience and I slept well, even by the airport.

Hotel was awesome. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was nice. Good amenities. Only bad thing was I didn't like the shampoo and conditioner and soap . Breakfast was amazing build your own omlette, sundry had a good selection of items

I have stayed at this hotel for years... Why? When there are so many others in the area? Comfort, security, economy and a good breakfast every morning. I am an older business woman, traveling alone most visits, and I always feel safe at this hotel. My room is always clean. The beds are great.The hotel is close to the freeway and expressway and tollway... within a few minutes drive, as well as just down the road from Hobby Airport. The price is right, too!

`BW Hobby was a great place to stay. It was clean and roomy. The staff was awesome. But it did take a while for the shuttle to pick me up at the airport. But when he arrived he was awesome to, he wouldn't let us touch the bags and he was there to offer a helping hand into the shuttle. Overall we had a great stay at BW Hobby

I had to fly out of Houston to go home. I chose best western at hobby so I could get a shuttle early in the morning. The desk clerk was very friendly and assisted with all my requests! Shuttle was very prompt and motel was very comfortable. I will definitely stay again!

When my daughter, granddaughter and baby, were stranded in the Hobby airport for a night with no cash, I called three hotels to see if they could stay there. Best Western Plus was the third. They immediately responded by accepting my credit card (after it was authorized), giving me their number so they could direct my family to the shuttle, and notifying me when they were on it. My family was met with wonderful, caring staff who were rounding up diapers and a pack n play for them. The room was excellent. The caring generosity shown by the staff was overwhelming. My family left refreshed with a happy baby the next morning.

The area around Hobby airport is a bit sketchy, but this hotel is fine. There were some people who were also guests staying there that I didn't completely feel comfortable with, but I don't blame Best Western for that. There were no problems. I did wonder why the Best Western airport shuttle van had a smashed front end, like it was involved in an accident where it rear-ended another vehicle. We didn't use the van. Not sure it was even running. It looked non-operable. The trash can right outside the front door to the hotel was full and had clothes in it! That added to the uncomfortable feel of the whole area. (Why were there clothes in the trash can in front of the hotel??!! All sorts of foul reasons spring to mind.) The room was quiet. We slept well. The food was fine. The hallways looked kind of worn, not crisp and clean. All that being said, we would probably stay there again because it was so close to Hobby and the Hertz rental center. It made things very convenient.

Very close to Hobby International. Free shuttle. Staff was very helpful with check in, directions to restaurants. When and how to use the shuttle coming and going. Left our car for seven days on a stay, park and fly.

On October 19, 2018, I flew into Houston from Chicago intending to catch another plane out to Oklahoma City, as luck would have it, the Chicago flight was delayed and I missed the connecting flight. I was also without my suitcase as it had been checked to go on to OK City. I called the hotel, and having already been warned by my daughter that they might not accept my debit card with my husband's name on it, I explained this to the clerk answering the phone. She stated no problem and I'll send a shuttle over, please go to area 14 pick up. I was relieved to arrive as I had been suffering from vertigo and had hurt my knee trying to race through the airport. Patricia was the desk clerk, when I gave her the debit card, she told me I could not check in because my husband wasn't present. I called my husband and he phoned corporate where we have a credit card on file as we are members of the reward program. Corporate called the desk and spoke to Patricia indicating that she should accept me, she told them no it wasn't the policy of the hotel. My plane landed at 8:oo pm and I stood there offering cash to no avail, after three calls from corporate and starting to call my other business friends to tell them to avoid this hotel, Patricia finally said she would accept cash....originally she had quoted me $78 but now it was $98 plus $100 deposit. I paid it. She knew I did not even have my suitcase with me, but she never even offered a complimentary toothbrush. After going to my room at 10:54pm, I grabbed my coin purse and headed back down to see if I could buy one. When I stepped outside my door, I could hear Patricia directly below me complaining about me to other employees. There were none for sale in the sundries area so I returned to the desk and asked another young lady for a toothbrush and she gave me one. I returned to my room and ordered Dominos pizza delivery, and finally got to eat supper at midnight! This is not the Texas hospitality that I knew as a child growing up in the state! The room was clean and comfortable, but the hospitality was totally lacking! The next morning I left at 7 am, and was not given a receipt for my stay. I did not eat the breakfast offered because I felt so very unwelcome. Never again!!!

Room and breakfast was as expected for the price. Good value. Reception staff left something to be desired, struggled to acknowledge you when passed through reception. Breakfast and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly.

I want to recognize first to Cecilia because she was helpful and she brings an excellent customer service. She help me to get a room quickly and give us options to eat and places to visit. The room was clean and Comfortable. We definitely recommend this hotel. And the crew make us feel like home. Also breakfast was delicious.

I had written in the preference section of my online reservation that I wanted room away from elevator. I was placed directly next to one. People slamming doors between hours of 7pm and 4am all around me. I got 0 sleep before I needed to be awake for my flight. When I left, hallway smelled of weed, so I had been placed next to a bunch of party animals when all I wanted was sleep before a flight.

Stayed 7 nights and it is what we payed for. Average night was $70 and we got a “full breakfast”, which is always nice. Rooms are clean and room service is good. Front desk is not that noce though. Besides Cecilia who was very cooperative, other 2 ladies dont even bother to say hello. Staying there 7 nights we asked for an extra comforter because AC was very cold even on highest temp but one lady said no and that was it. At least the other one gave us an extra sheet, that was a better attitude. But aside this it was a good stay.

Clean and comfortable and cold AC. Quick shuttle. Close to airport. Breakfast solid. Microwave and fridge in room. Plenty of other food available for purchase in lobby. Check in and check out was quick and easy

Booked this hotel because it had a good pricing and a lot of good reviews. It actually turned out a nice hotel, clean rooms, asked for 2 double beds and were nice beds, my only complaint were the pillows they are too tall for my neck. Nice bathroom and every electronic worked ok. Stayed for a week and no complaints. Front desk are very nice and helpful. Didn't use any amenities but they had a pool and gym.

My stay was busy I stayed for a bit because I was here for business but mercy the front desk lady was very nice she very nice nails and was very sweet and the breakfast was good as well comfortable bed clean room will be back soon

I've heard from some peers recently that I should check out the revamped Best Western Plus locations when I get a chance. Life happens, and I was forced to find a local hotel near Houston's Hobby Airport and this location was indeed a very solid place to stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive of my plight and did everything they could to ensure I was well taken care of during my brief stay. Special shout out to Cristina at the front desk...she did her job superbly and was a highlight of my otherwise forgetful day.

It was exactly what was pictured and advertised! I would definitely stay here again when I am at the airport. Very close to the airport and a perfect spot to get the shuttle to the cruise port. It was a great start of the vacation.

It is a very good option to stay very close to Hobby airport. There are shuttles to the airport every half hour and the shuttle from airport is available on calling the property. The room we had was clean, spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and adequate toiletries were provided. The complimentary breakfast is similar to what is expected from most similar hotels. Waffles, muffins, bread, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals and coffee.

I loved my stay here at Best Western Hotel. The staff was great,very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. They had great breakfast,loved the variety. I will be staying here again when I come back to Houston.

I recently stayed at this location while in town to visit family in July. The hotel has a nifty airport shuttle if you aren't renting a car that has you to the check-in counter in minutes; just call upon your arrival at the airport. The staff is friendly and courteous. Flo and Kristina are exceptionally helpful and such a delight. My room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel and parking lot were nearly full but the walls were thick enough that I would have thought I was one of the only occupants. In the morning they have quite a spread for breakfast on the go or some savory options if you want to linger a while in the lounge. If you'd like a late night snack they have a pantry with ice cream, drinks, and other snacks for purchase in addition to the standby coin machines. Pool was nice and perfect temp for a swim in the summer. Great place to stay if you are coming from out of town or just want a stay-vacation night away for local folks. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

We had a great time nice and clean room. The staff was very helpful. The housekeeping staff member Maria did a great job with our room and giving us ideas where we could all have a great time our first night in Houston. We will be back next month.

End of summer trip with my grandson. Got Houston CityPass tickets to see Space Center Houston, the Zoo, Aquarium, and Museums. This was a nice, reasonable, central location not too far from any of the locations. Property was clean and modern, bed very comfortable. All employees were very friendly. Included hot breakfast with a good variety of items.

Upon arrival the staff greeted us with warm smiles and helped us book our room efficiently. close to many local attractions such as minute maid park and the Johnson Space center. The room was wonderful, microwave and refrigerator were clean and decent sized for our needs. Laundry facilities worked well. Breakfast was delicious and 24 hr coffee helped with our late nights and early mornings.

Friendly staff and quick check in. Great hot breakfast with texas shaped waffles! My kids loved it here! After you add up the free hot breakfast, free 24 hour airport shuttle and 7 free days of park and fly plus the amazing rooms you cant go wrong eith the price! We will be back!

We checked at 3 a.m., and slept through the first night, though we noticed the floor was wet. The next day, we were out for the day, but at night, bugs kept landing on us. We looked around and found a nasty bug infestation. At first the front desk said there were no other rooms available for us to move in to. After 30 or 40 minutes of trying to find another hotel in the area, the front desk called back and said they had another room for us. I don't know how housekeeping didn't see the problem.

Negatives: Check in was slow, front desk lady was not friendly. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Positives: They did have an airport shuttle that came every 30 minute, arrived on time and driver was nice. I don't think I'd stay here again due to the beds.

Good location halfway between Minute Maid Park and The Johnson Space Center. Room was average size with a fridge and microwave. Checked in and left for the afternoon and when we got back as soon as we opened the door there was a musty smell, if my wife was with we would have had to change rooms. In the morning I mentioned this to the very pleasant desk clerk( sorry I don't remember her name) and she would tell house keeping. They must use a spray to mask the smell because by night it was back. I know there was damage from hurricanes last year and I don't know if other rooms have a problem but 212 does. laundry facilities work well, breakfast area small and loud at times.

I was in town for a quick trip and could not have been more pleased with my stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was quick and great. They were very helpful at the front desk with helping me make some adjustments due to flight delays the next morning and had great recommendations for dinner. I would definitely stay here again if in town. We always stay at Best Western when traveling and it is always a great experience!

Best Western helped us finish up a very nice trip to Texas. We just needed a place for overnight and a ride to the airport in the morning. BW provided a nice comfortable room as well as a free shuttle for us, so it was very easy. They even arranged for the shuttle to pick us up from the car rental place. They couldn't have made it easier. There is even a menu called Order Inn. Your meal is delivered so it is even easier.

Hotel was close to Houston Hobby and rental car return. Not heavy traffic area so easy return of vehicle, making early flight out an easy choice. I would use this hotel again if needed. Bed comfotable and breakfast typical for this type of hotel. Reasonable rates.

We stay at this property about once a month and find it to be good value. The rooms are very clean and the staff is great. the hotel is locate close to Hobby Airport and has a shuttle. We have stayed at other hotels in the area but find this Best Western to be the best value.

I have been staying at this hotel for 7 years on my monthly Houston business trips. Why? I have easy access to all highways; clean and comfortable room; hot breakfast with lots of choices; secure parking; sparkling clean pool and exercise room; friendly caring staff... and best of all... I get all of these benefits for a great price! I don't have to ask for the best rate... I get it automatically!

Room was great, staff was great, amenities we're appropriate. Pleasantly surprised at the upgraded rooms for Best Western. I don't know why they require a minimum of 200 characters in they're review but I made it.

Arrived to Hobby airport at 2am. Very nice shuttle driver was there fast to pick us up. I forgot my yeti cup at the airport, he drove me back to get it with a good attitude. Clean nice room & facility, very helpful people working here. shuttle drivers front desk and kitchen people were great! Breakfast was better than most BW.

I booked 4 rooms, 3 months in advance and when we all arrived at the hotel, we were scattered around on all 3 floors.I was given a key to our room and walked into an occupied room. Returned to the front desk and was told we were sent to the wrong room, the receptionist was surprised our key opened the initial room door, so was I. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was okay. There are no restaurants within walking distance of this hotel.

I spent the night here on and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely got my money's worth out of this property. Airport shuttle was super quick and infact it was waiting outside when I landed. Location was super convenient. From the shuttle driver to the front desk and housekeeping everyone was exceptionally friendly. Room was clean and quiet with a great AC unit and a hot shower. Almost as important though TONS OF PLUGS! Plugs plugs everywhere! Beds were fresh clean and comfortable. This was my first time at a BW Plus location and highly recommend it!

I stayed in a first floor room and everything was fresh, clean and recently painted and decorated. Staff was friendly but because of my flight time I did not get to try the breakfast though it looked well equipped.

I'm a loyal BW customer and found this hotel charming overall and earned its Plus status ! I did have a credit card issue at check in however Mercy offered to call manager Flo who I assume was home at 11pm. They processed my check in and sent me to my room with water and snacks. Perfect for traveling all day from Maine At the end , mercy and Flo put the customer first , which is rare , even among other BW I have stayed at. Guests are important here ! Free transportation and breakfast are bonuses to go with with this awesome hotel. From landing at the airport , it was only 5 minutes from the time I called til I was picked up. Breakfast had a wide variety from eggs and sausage to yougurt and granola. Something for everyone.

Great airport hotel! Wonderful and helpful staff. Shuttle driver was super nice and helpful. Room was clean. We had everything we needed for an overnight layover. Rates were also great and decent restaurants were close by with easy access.

Overall extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and the location is convenient for guests as it is located a mile from the airport. Also the morning breakfast spread was very good

My mother and I arrived at about 9:00pm to check in and spend the night before our early flight from Hobby the next day. We were given the keys to room 201. After moving all of our luggage from the rental car to the door of 201, we opened it and quickly deposited our stuff, in a rush to get back out to return the rental car and then be able to come back and go to bed ASAP. Back at about 10:00, we re-enter the room and realize that it stinks. Stinks like 30 years worth of halfhearted cleaning and maintenance. We discussed asking for another room but didn't have the energy to actually move all of our stuff and would just try to ignore it. So we started to unpack and decided to open the window for fresh air. YUCK. The window was grimy, inside and out. Then I turned on the table lamp. YUCK. Grime on top of grime. I decided to take a shower. Long, dark hair (not mine) stuck to the inside shower wall. One on the floor. Shower didn't drain. Just gross. The next morning, the water level had dropped by about an inch, but still not draining. Pillows on the bed are 4 square things that are better suited to decorative sofa pillows than for sleeping. We got up and got out of there on the 5:30 shuttle. Thought it would be more pleasant to pass the early morning at the airport. Again, if we weren't so tired and had less luggage, or if it were a longer stay, we would have made every effort to move rooms, or even more likely, find another hotel.

Overall, nice place. My comment is more on the people and service. Super friendly and helpful. The guys driving the van to / from the airport are terrific. Very efficient. Overall, i would definitely stay here again. Thanks

This hotel is very near Hobby Airport. Lots of features - gym, washing machines, good internet, decent breakfast. Nice staff. But furniture was somewhat worn and facility somewhat musty. No walking distance restaurants though they do have dialup room service vendor that provides good variety.

I almost never get almond milk at a hotel, but I did here. There was even a sign indicating that it all I had to do was ask for it. All of the people were helpful and friendly. We had a fly-drive hotel package. The shuttle drivers were both very friendly. The parking area was very well lit. The room was quiet and clean. All in all, a great choice of hotel.

We got into Houston late one night and had booked near the airport. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this hotel exceeded our expectations by far. It was very clean and modern. We decided to go out for a few drinks and it was within walking distance of a little watering hole. The next morning the continental breakfast was much more than the typical continental breakfast. They had Texas shaped waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs and all sorts of juices. Really exceptional experience for not very high expectations.

What is the “plus” in a Best Western Plus”? Two nights ago we stayed in a Best Western Plus and it was horrible. One example...prostitutes working out of it and the desk clerk admitting it was a problem they are trying to fix. And people smoking pot in the pool area. This hotel is about service. An airport hotel you expect pretty basic stuff. But Mercy (her name) the desk clerk was so rude to my wife and I that we walked out and said “ok, we're officially done with Best Western”. My wife is the the peacemaker mellow person in the family. Mercy spoke to us like we were convicts and spoke over our questions like a Jerry Springer show. I had pulled our car up in the rain to load our luggage. I was short of the overhang in a curb zone that was near a red zone, but not in a red zone. The covered area was clogged with a pick-up parked the wrong way and THEIR airport shuttle empty and locked up. Did I mention it was was raining? So she comes in asking me why I was in the hotel (I was getting some of their cheap instant coffee...yuk). I said I was staying at the hotel. Did she think I was a homeless person coming in to steal what looked like a really awful breakfast? She said I had to move my car because it was blocking where there shuttle had to turn around. If you are at hotel you would realize that is a ridiculous issue. There is a huge spot to turn around. I asked where can I park to load my bags in the rain. And she said I had to pull through, behind the truck parked the wrong way. In the rain. It's not the parking situation (although parking their shuttle in the only dry spot and making guests load in the rain doesn't reek of customer service). It was the way Mercy treated us, and came just short of sticking her hand in my face. When we pulled away a saw her jawing about me to the people in the eating area. I'm on the road almost every week. From now on I drive by Best Western and wave. (If this is a “Plus”, Lord save people staying in a regular Best Western.

We arrived very late like 1 am and we were just staying overnight before catching an international flight. Upon arrival the front desk clerk was very nice. The room was clean. Definitely would stay here again. They also offered breakfast in the morning. I failed to take picture though. The room did have modern decor and it was clean.

Checked into this hotel in order to be close to the airport since we had a very early flight the next morning after having been on a cruise out of Galveston. Our experience with the staff was horrible. This hotel's walls are paper thin and when we had extremely noisy neighbors, it took two calls to the front desk and eventually the Houston police in order to quite them down. The lady at the front desk stated she has been watching them run in and out of rooms for two hours but didn't do anything to stop them. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! Stay clear if you want to get some rest!

Very convient to airport. Staff is very helpful and friendly. You don't hear airplanes or traffic. Rooms have always been clean and comfortable .Rates are pretty consistant throughout the year at a good price. They have free shuttle to the airport and free breakfast

The Front desk lady Cyndy had a great attitude as soon as I approached the door, she was very respectful of the way that she checked me in. She made my stay at the hotel and I would recommend her manager to raise her pay. What a fabulous customer service keep it up Cyndy

We stayed here while we waited to board a cruise the next day. We got in late and were exhausted. The shuttle ride was good, driver was nice. Our room was noisy, next to an elevator and the hallway that is by the breakfast, but honestly we were too tired to care. Breakfast was great for a continential one. Loved the Texas shaped Waffles. Very nice Breakfast staff and the night hotel clerk woman was great too!.

Stayed here one night and enjoyed it. Good room that was clean. We were with a group and everyone agreed that the pillows were not comfortable at all. They are these square things that were hard. The breakfast was good. Staff was good but not overly welcoming.

The worst Best Western stay that my family and I've experienced. I traveled with my four children and husband plus other family members (a large group of us). The whole hotel had wet paint and smelled like paint. Paint practically got on our clothes and personal items especially when getting off the elevator and going in our rooms since the whole door had wet paint. Seriously who put wet paint on doors that you're expecting guest to stay in??? I reserved two rooms with two queen bed. When I checked in I was told one room has been upgraded. It was definitely not an upgrade. We lost a bed to a dump couch. We asked to change rooms and was declined and was told they were expecting a full house and because we were only staying a night they won't move us back to a room with two queens. The room my teen daughter stayed in with other adult family members because they couldn't give us connecting rooms had a dirty men underwear in the corner. NASTY!!! We also found a maintenance person in the bathroom when we got to the room (no warning from the staff at the desk). SCARY!!! Back to my room. There was no sheets, blankets or pillows for the dump couch. When I phoned the front desk for the items she asked me to come down to grab them. I declined and told her to bring them up and she's done dealing with the customer she's with at the moment. When complained about the wet paint getting on our personal items it was like we were playing phone tag with the manager who was not on the premise and the front desk was the middle person. Very frustrating. Poor customer services all around.

I came in late from my flight and was warmly greeted by Mercy, the desk attendant. It was cold and windy and the room was already warm when I got in. The room (323)was clean and the sheets smelled fresh I had made arrangements to have firmer pillows in my room and thanks to Flo Vega for making that happen! It became obvious to me that I might have to stay one more night and Flo was ready to make that happen, despite the heavy booking on a MLK weekend. Fortunately, it didn't have to happen. The breakfast is typical of any Best Western. The only thing to be wary of is the location which is near a La Quinta Inn. In fact, they share the same entrance. I saw the La Quinta Inn sign first and passed the Best Western. It was confusing for me. I would come back to stay at this hotel.

Clean and comfortable hotel with great breakfast options and a clean area for fitness and quite enough for business meetings. House keeping was great and the beds were comfortable. I would stay again. Comfortable beds.

A friend and I stayed there for one night. We wanted a place close to tHobby airport and we didn't need any fancy perks. Just a clean room for a good nights sleep. The staff at the desk seemed like they were forced to work. They weren't rude, just hating their job if you know what I mean. The room was clean so that was great, but we faced airport blvd so the traffic noise was LOUD. We had a lovely view of a big transformer literally right outside of our window. The bed sheets had a strong smell of bleach and you could hear your neighbors so overall it wasn't a good night sleep.

We spent 4 nights at this location. It's very convenient to get around the Hou/Gal area. It's close to the airport and within walking distance from the rental car facilities. There isn't a large number of restaurants close by but the breakfast at the hotel is adequate. The price was very good for the location.

This motel was very nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We arrived earlier than the check in time, and the staff made us welcome. They stored our luggage until our room was ready. If I am in Houston again, I will definitely stay here.

Was a convenient stay for a stopover for an airport stopover. Breakfast served had good variety and was a good start to the day. The facilities were nice and the staff was helpful and courteous. The free airport shuttle was great

Nothing to write about. Check-in and check-out was on time and fast. Breakfast was very minimal - eggs, pork sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Not everyone eats pork and I was amazed at it being no beef products since the hotel is in Texas. It was hard to get the room cleaned for the day. If I needed extra linens, it was hard to get due to the front desk not having coverage so I had to go get linens myself. The decor of the room was antiquated. It would have been nice to have a door to the room that was not see through. Parking was free and plenty. It was located by a lot of shopping.

Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is so-so but more attention is needed to keep tables clean between customers. Clean lobby. Very close to airport and freeways. Staff at desk did not seem to really care about the customer- it seemed they were there because it was a job and not a customer experience

Clean comfortable rooms. No restaurant near by but they have a shuttle. The internet wifi was good with no hassles to connect. Shuttle to the airport frequently. The free breakfast was decent and had lots of selection.

I like the room set up, smell and cleanliness. I am very happy with the staff. Rose Hernandez went out of her way to help my wife stay free from gluten by letting her know about the breakfast items. I appreciate the manager Flo giving us a 10% discount on our extra night stay and for Mercy calling to get it approved. I am very impress with the staff and especially Rose. There was a robbery incident of two vending machines outside our room mid morning and Rose stood her ground and kept the person busy and slowed his attempt from getting away until guests staying at the hotel came to help and hold the man until police came and arrested him. Rose and Flo handled the situation very well. They both are very professional. I hope they received the recognition they deserve from Best Western Hotel and Resort company. Kevin Ryan

the hotel is very inviting. the exterior was very clean, and the lobby was very clean. the room has a nice decor. the bathroom was very clean. the bed was very comfortable. the parking was convenient. i would definitely stay here again.

We had an early flight out of Hobby. This was the ONLY hotel that had a room. The Business Office printer was out of order, so the Desk Clerk printed out our Boarding Passes & Itinerary. Once in the room, we were unable to get the room temp cool enough. The hot water setting in the shower was difficult to find & took a while to get hot. The shuttle service was EXCELLENT!!!

Arrival of the hotel shuttle from the airport was quick and easy. Hotel check in and check out was simple and swift. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast spread was great and presented well, very clean area. Would stay there again.

We had a reservation at a hotel down the street from this one so imagine our surprised to find that chain hotel boarded up when we got there!! Luckily, Best Western was right there and had a room available. Rose was working the desk when we came in that night. She was super sweet and helpful. Not only did she give us a room, but she helped us work through concerns we had with returning our car rental in the morning. Not only that, but she had them leave "to go" breakfast bags at the counter since we had to leave at 5AM. BRAVO to the great staff, but it was also the best night sleep I'd had all week. The room was terrific. We had a room with 2 queen beds. They had some frozen meals available to purchase so we settled for that since we hadn't had dinner and it was 9PM but there was also a delivery menu available.

From the lobby to our room, this hotel had an overwhelming air freshener scent that gave me a terrible sinus headache. We couldn't escape the fake flower smell. It was loud all night long in the hallway and the traffic noise was bad. The room did appear to be clean and the front desk staff were very nice. Will not stay here again.

Manager cancelled reservation when hotel still had rooms available. Claimed rooms were unavailable due to damage. They had people in standard rooms per front desk when I called. Manager later claimed that they were closing for repairs yet they still are advertising/listing rooms on their own site. This all after more then a month after hurricane Harvey went through. On previous trip they gave away room and had to upgraded us for free since I had prepaid. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Flo Vega and her amazing staff! Our group of 25 came right after Hurricane Harvey. Flo kept in close contact with me as changes happened pretty quickly. She ended up having to change all of our rooms to King bed rooms, as our contracted rooms were damaged in the flooding. We would have never known, as we were never inconvenienced. The rooms were very spacious, clean, quiet, and did not smell of mildew. The staff even let us use the dining room for all 25 of us to order food in and eat there. The breakfast was pretty yummy, as we were originally told that they weren't getting all of their food shipments due to the hurricane. We are very grateful that we had a place to stay, as there were many people who were staying there because their homes were damaged, or they had no home to go back to. We were so impressed with everything, that we would definitely stay there again next time we're in Texas... Thank you Flo!!!

We just needed a place to spend the night before heading home from a cruise. Bed was comfortable, pillows great. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little noisy because there were a lot of kids. Flood victims are staying there while displaced from their homes.

We came here for our Anniversary, and even though it's not very far from where we live, it was definitely and Xscape from a Normal Atmosphere, QUIET, ADVENTURIST!, and the people have very good customer service. Rosie was so funny and friendly, she took care of everything we needed and suggest us a Jacuzzi suite for an extra $20 (it was worth it for every penny we paid), It was the biggest jacuzzi we have ever seen. The 'free' breakfast was far better than expected Lupe who works in the restaurant was great to have a chat with. for my I would definitely recommend this place as good option for couples.

I was stranded here during Hurricane Harvey. The staff could not have been nicer. With minimal staff, the still provided a nice breakfast every morning and did essential room maintenance every day. The rooms have a minifrig and microwave and I was able to get some food at the small store in the hotel. The hotel shuttle also took guests to a nearby convenience store when it was safe to do so. When I left the hotel, I felt like I was leaving dear friends who had cared for me. Special thanks to Flo Vega, the manager!!

Had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good and the room was clean and a decent size with a comfortable bed I also appreciate the room has a small refrigerator and microwave. This hotel also has a guest laundry.

I always stay at this hotel when on business in Houston. The staff is attentive and friendly. The room is clean and well stocked. The bed is so comfortable and all the linens are soft and clean. I love the large array of hot and cold breakfast items and the price is good. I do not care for exercise rooms so I walk the parking lot... I am always safe (I am a 60 year old woman). The staff keeps a sharp eye on the property. The hotel is close to Hobby airport, Interstate 45 and the Sam Houston tollway, so it is close to all the places I do business or a within a quick drive. Good value for the money, too

This was a very nice hotel, very close to Hobby. We chose it for that reason. We thought we were going to have to shuttle back to airport to catch the Galveston Express. Galveston Express ended up picking us up at the BW so that was great. The hotel was great....except there is absolutely no place to eat around the area. Even some things we thought were within a mile..weren't open. We found out later that it is really an unsafe area to be walking around in. The big plus was the menu in the room from a place that would deliver. I can't remember what it was called. We really didn't care the price at this point. :) We were very impressed with the delivery, cost and taste. Glad they had that available. The hotel was very spacious and clean. Just what we needed for one night.

The staff has no clue of Best Western policies despite wearing a shirt that says Best Western and having not one but two large signs on the building that both say Best Western. I literally had to call four times to get the team at the hotel to figure out a simple policy already in place.

First off, the hotel is clean and room smelled of deodorants upon entering. Front desk staff was friendly. They even called to make sure our room was ok .. We checked in around midnight July 28, 2017 and left the next morning at 8am . We used this location for our pre cruise stay. The shuttle was quick and the driver was friendly but the van is very old and very dirty, the seats are all very stained and dirty but it's a fee shuttle and we did tip the driver. the breakfast was ok but the eggs were terrible .. I was a bit skeptical about booking here since some of the reviews stated "being charged" for things being left dirty in the room, such as stained sheets, towels and bed spreads . upon arrival I did check the room for any such damage so to be sure not to be charged anything... ok I'm back from my cruise and opens my credit card statement , and what do I find ! A charge for 16 dollars .. I. Immediately called the hotel and spoke to the front desk lady cindy who told me yes I was charged for staining one washcloth and one bath towel. I told her this was absolutely ridiculous and I wanted to speak to a manager. No one was there but she did assure me someone will call me shortly which they did.actually the manager Flo Vega called me from home. She was not aware of anything and wasn't able to check on any pictures, apparently they take pictures of damaged items in the room and stained towels. I told her this was absolutely ridiculous and I knew of them charging people for such things from other reviews on other sites. I told her we barely had time to sleep, never mind to stain anything the only thing we did was try to get a few hours sleep showered and dried off with the towels. Maybe some old make up from the day before got on a towel, this is all I can think of ? But certainly nothing to stain the towels and require a charge ...But Now they're telling me that they have proof that I stained them.. I don't know how, the room numbers are not printed on the towels and they do not have my DNA that I know of but anyway they said they came from my room.. and if they do show me pictures do they really expect me to believe they came from my room ? Really I'm sure they have a room full of dirty towels ... anyway .. I need to call Flo back in the AM to discuss the evidence .... in my 48+ years of staying at hotels this is a first and definitely my last for best westerns .. This practice of not notifying you about the charges or showing proof is dishonest, and they are basically saying your guilty before giving you a chance to defend yourself ... shame on you best western ...

The services were nice and good approach to customers. i really enjoy my self. it was very clean surroundings and fresh, i recommend this hotel as one of the best hotel around Hobby Airport in houston

The Best Western Hobby Airport offers good, clean and comfortable lodging before flying out of Hobby Airport in Houston. In case you do not want to go out to eat the on-site pantry has a variety of microwavable offerings which provide a decent light meal. - Staff are very helpful and friendly.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights due to business I had in Galveston. The location of the hotel was very convenient to food, I-45, gas stations/convenience store, and shopping. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I was placed in a room adjacent to the elevator but I was not disturbed by noise at all.

First of all the room was okay, not really any complaints there. Our complaint was with the shuttle service (or lack of). We were going to be arriving late so called ahead of time to let the front desk know when we'd be in. The clerk was rude and said call back when we land. As soon as we had our baggage we called again and the clerks first question was "did you pick up your baggage?" and not in a very pleasant tone. I said yes and we proceeded to the pick up zone (which by the way is loud and hot). We waited and waited. Other hotel vans had come by TWICE to pick up their guests. We actually had to call the front desk FOUR times and each time the clerk said they were on their way. After a half hour of waiting, the van finally showed up and we were told that they had just been told. This hotel has a definite problem with the front desk picking up the phone to notify the van that they have guests to pick up. If I had had children with me I would have more furious that I already was. It only takes one bad apple!!

Nothing to write home about with this hotel. After reading reviews of this hotel I thought it would be more in line with that of a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn, but it was definitely below the average Holiday Inn. The room was adequate - bed was comfortable enough. It fit the bill for a hotel to stay in during an overnight layover at HOU. The reason I give this hotel 2 instead of 3 stars was really about the service. There was 1 front desk person and a shuttle driver, but saw no other staff. I asked the front desk person for a recommendation on a restaurant, and other than the prepared list (which wasn't really what I was looking for), she couldn't make a recommendation. I was happy to go anywhere within 20 minutes but couldn't get a recommendation from this hotel. In a city I'm not familiar with I was hoping for someone at the hotel that could make some recommendations. Also - the hotel advertises a free airport shuttle. I did use this. I called from the airport and still had to wait 20 - 25 minutes. Should have just taken an uber. On the way to the airport the shuttle apparently leaves every half hour if someone needs it. For dinner I think there is only a 6PM shuttle. Location of this hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere with not many (or any) places to eat nearby.

We checked in late for an early flight the next morning. The facility and our room were clean and comfortable. We got a good night's sleep and the airport shuttle promptly took us to our departure gate early the next morning. We left our car parked in the hotel's lot for the duration of our trip (for free) and it was unharmed when we returned.

I'm always a little leary when the rates are this low, but this was a pleasant experience. This hotel is located directly across from the Spot parking so that was very convenient. Everything was clean from the grounds outside to the bathroom. The bed was excellent. The breakfast was the only typical expectation. There were two Belgium waffle makers so no one was waiting long. The scrambled eggs were hot. Sorry, I didn't touch the sausage. There was a variety of continental items along with cold cereals or instant hot cereals. There was also a small selection of fresh fruit. If you are headed to the airport, then this hotel is an excellent choice.

Beautiful & clean hotel, very friendly staff, made this a great stay. Breakfast was amazing, great variety! The internet actually works good, the amenities were great ! Diffinately would recomend & would come back, as well as try another BW hotel 's for future trips !

The hotel was clean and the service while not extraordinary was functional. The location however offered excellent access to the airport and to airport parking. There were also several restaurants nearby for a reasonable amount of variety.

If there were negative stars I would give those. We stayed there last week for three nights. Room was smelly but we compromised as we were going to be out a lot and just be there to sleep. Anyway, realized today there is additional charge on my card apart from room tariff. Upon inquiring with the hotel, the manager was pretty rude and said there were sheets that were stained and I charged you only for one. Nobody contacted us before placing charges. Or even after. In fact nobody said anything to us until we called. She even had courage to say that you I like she can charge for both sheets. Damn it we don't even know if those were stained indeed or they were stained even before we checked in. Who looks at those covering decorative sheets when you are there just to sleep. Very disappointing. Sounds like scam to make extra money. I would never stay at another best western.

Perfect place for a layover. We stayed one night. Check-in was quick and easy, staff friendly AND helpful. Sheets aren't top quality but were clean and beds comfy. We asked for extra toiletries and towels they arrived - no problem! There is an outdoor pool, we didn't partake. It was small but it looked refreshing. Airport shuttle service is a quick 10 min drive - make sure to tell them when you're landing! Wait in passenger pickup #12 Breakfast was great - make your own waffles plus loads of other stuff! Great value!

Clean, bright, comfortable hotel and room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Nice breakfast available as well. Lots of parking all located in a great location with a window view of the airport. Great staff.

The front desk was very helpful in accomodating us. The food area was clean and having a meat to eat with the eggs is a wonderful, as well as all of the available breakfast items. Our room was very clean, although a bit small.

Very happy with my stay. Rooms were clean, family friendly, and did not have to worry about eating out during breakfast time. No noise complaints at all. I traveled with my mother, toddler son, and sister. As a whole, my son easily adjusted to our temp stay, happy there was a television with the Disney channel. Calmed my son and made all of us feel like home.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is great for flying in and out of the Hobby Airport. We were happy with the location and there were restaurants nearby.

We booked this hotel as an express deal on our favorite booking site. The rate was good, and the property was rated as a three star property, with breakfast provided. We arrived, but were given a first floor room, very convenient to the lobby and breakfast area. The place was quite busy, even at our 10 PM arrival. The front desk clerk was not friendly at all, but she did get us registered. The room was nicely equipped, and not noisy despite being near the elevator and lobby. It was also clean, and included a small refrigerator. We requested a corkscrew but they did not have one available. Breakfast the next morning was very good and kept fresh. Probably to the best surprise is that the hotel allowed you park your car at the property for up to seven days from your stay free of charge. Our stay went a little over (part of a day), which ended up costing a little over $17. The shuttle service was friendly and timely, both on the way to the airport and after landing and being picked up. Arriving late and leaving pretty early, we did not have much of a chance to use the pool of exercise room. We definitely will consider staying here again. Access to the property from I-45 was also close and convenient. Five stars, except for the rude front desk clerk.

The hotel was affordably priced and conveniently located near I45, but the front desk staff were not very friendly or welcoming. The room had a bad damp smell and was in need of a facelift. Asked for clean towels and were instructed to turn in the dirty ones before getting clean ones; never experienced this before.

When my wife and I checked in and got comfortable, seems like out of no where 2 roaches were on the wall, after I ran them down and killed them we sort of slept with one eye opened, since it was only going to be a 3 night stay we figured we could endure it, on the morning of our departure lo and behold there was another one. I thought to myself, leave it alone and inform the desk clerk when we check out, when I did tell her she informed me that they sprayed a few weeks earlier and will have to call the exterminators back.

The room was nice. I really liked the am breakfast. You also changed the breakfast menu. It was a lot of variety of r\\foods, hot and cold. I liked the refrigerator and microwave in the room. Hair dryer. I was not pleased with the TV channels. There was not a lot of variety of channels I like the BET channel It was not available at all. Get more channels on the TV..

We've stayed at the Best Western Plus Hobby Airport hotel several times in the last year. We always enjoy our stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful and considerate. I'm sure we will be staying here again.

Traveling with a group of 20 for a 50th wedding anniversary. The were very friendly and helpful . Clean rooms and great breakfast. Airport shuttle was nice and driver was very friendly. The pool was nice and relaxing .

Great overnight stay before flying home-convenient to stores and rental car return depot. Hotel was well kept,staff friendly and bathrooms very clean. Breakfast selection great but there could have been some gluten free options and also some plain cream pots for coffee

We were flying really early, had to be at the airport by 5:30 a.m. The shuttle was on time and it only took 5 minutes to get there. We returned our rental car the night before, and it was so close to the Inn that we walked back. Edith took our reservation, remembered us when we checked in, and was just fantastic making us feel welcome and answering many questions with expertise and thoughtfulness. The room was clean and ready. We didn't expect to check in early, but they were able to accommodate us. We would stay here again, and also recommend it to anyone wanting to stay near the Hobby Airport.

This was as I always anticipate, an almost perfect stay! The dining are floor was sticky but the counters were very clean and the food was excellent! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist in the morning was gracious and thorough. The internet was easy to connect. and i had a Great visit!

We only stayed one night, but it was great. The place is clean, has friendly employees, loved our waffle breakfast, comfortable beds, great location, and we were on the 3rd floor and the planes overhead didn't bother us. We will definitely be back if we happen to be in the area.

Stayed twice once before trip and after I flew back in. Very nice place with very clean comfortable room! Very convenient with safe parking in good neighborhood & well lit at night. Quiet but I need noise so always travel with my sound machine. Would definitely stay there again.

Edith at the front desk made my check in effortless. My room was fresh, clean and nicely appointed. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus. Pool was very nice with tables and chairs to catch up on some reading. All employees always greeted me with an hello and smile. Parking is close and secure. Easy close drive to Hobby Airport and IH 45.

The hotel was excellent and conveniently located. We were able to park our car for 7 days at no charge, with free shuttle service to and from Hobby Airport. Shuttle in both directions was prompt and friendly.

We missed a connecting flight due to weather and needed a place to stay late at night. So we decided on this Best Western since I normally have good luck with the Best Western chain. Free shuttle to and from the airport. We were welcomed and speedily checked in. The location is near a couple of restaurants - a Waffle House and Sonic - right next door. So food is not a problem if you have been traveling and you are hungry. Free buffet breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and quiet. Not the nicest BW+ I've ever stayed in, but it was fine for the night. The lobby was nice looking and the staff was polite. The second shuttle driver was a bit gruff, but I won't hold it against him. We left early in the morning to catch our flight. Thanks, Humble. You were a good unexpected stop on the way to our vacation destination.

All was well except we were unaware handicap room so i couldn't the a bath and the water lesked all over the floor other than that beautiful place would highly recommend . Will return when needed. Thanks for reading this.

Only spent one night but found the location close to the airport, yet quiet and surrounded by trees. Serves hot breakfast and supper which makes the value even better. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is ok for 1 night . Good airport shuttle service. You call them when you reach their pickup place after you clear your luggages and they take you in 15 minutes. The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious but was smelling . The breakfast was ok. It is good that they serve coffee 24 hours. The staff were friendly. I gave 4 stars because of the price performance ratio.

Good, reasonable price for exceptional accommodation. My only complaint is their requirement to appear in the lobby 15 minutes prior to the departure of whichever half-hourly shuttle you want to be on. I've never run into that in any airport hotel anywhere, and it seems on its face ridiculous and unnecessary. They should change the policy.

We spent the night here before an early flight out of Hobby. The price was great, the room clean, long term parking is right across the street and the hotel has a 24 hour shuttle. We would stay here again and recommend it to others. There was no airport or traffic noise and the staff is marvelous.

The staff are awesome. The hotel has really comfortable beds and offer all the amenities at a reasonable price with park and fly and a free airport shuttle to Hobby. The free wiFi is great...very strong signal. Breakfast was excellent. Good variety.

Best Western always provides...the best facilities, best breakfasts, nice decor; great to have an exercise room. Location was excellent and they did not disappoint. We were grateful to have a choice of room location. Pleasant surroundings.

The upfront service was bad, I try to use the computer at the lobby and the hotel personal was using it for over an hour before they let me use it, aver all hotel staff very bad service, they need to train their staff with custumer service classes asap

Stay at this hotel was a very pleasant pleasant stay period from Patricia at the front desk check in who was so knowledgeable sweets and professional comma to Alicia the shuttle driver who took me wherever I needed to go period this hotel offers free Airport Service it also offers dinner service where you can go and get a choice of several restaurants that they will take you to. The hotel is so clean and well taken care of it was just a very beautiful beautiful stay fresh baked cookies in the lobby and the morning breakfast is fabulous.

This was a last minute hotel search it had everything we were looking for. Hot breafest juice yogurt waffles eggs sausage cereal toast. The rooms were awesome very clean stay was over friendly and very helpful.

My arrival was very early morning and by noon, a room was assigned to me. The staffs are very friendly and nice. I wanted salt and the evening receptionist went into the kitchen to grant my request. Thanks.

We have stayed here a number of times. Good value. Great location near Hobby airport. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very nice with a lot of options. The lobby is clean and well lit. Plenty of parking.

I think the biggest thing was the lack of a restaurant. Not one at the hotel, and not one nearby. No offer to have the shuttle take us to one either. We did have some soup from the reception area, and that was ok.

Room was smelly, cooling system did not help to move the air. Shower was set up for wheelchairs, not small children , water got everywhere making the bathroom slippery . Hot water system really difficult to manage , again bad with small children and no bathtub.

Rug in room 304 smells and a/c unit filter need changing, I got sick saying there for one night, don't think would ever say at best western chain again. It was hard to sleep went you can breathe properly

We liked this hotel very much. A large group of us stayed in multiple rooms prior to a cruise out of Galveston. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were large and comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, with lots of choices. The hotel recommended a shuttle that would take all 14 of us to the airport--that was great! They allowed one member of our party to leave his truck in the parking lot also. Would stay here every time I go to Houston.

Great room, friendly and fast service. Felt very secure as the hotel has installed extra security cameras for the parking lot. Breakfast was always warm and great! Upon check out I let the front desk know I was leaving and they were very quick and friendly with checkout! The housecleaning service also did not knock on my door as if I need room service, which is a positive, since I was in vacation I did not want to be woken. Decor of the room was great. It is located by Hobby Airport but the noise never seems to be heard.

This was my first trip to Texas and I had received my 'Visit Houston' booklet and had already figured out what I wanted to see and do. I love museums and great food and I knew I wanted to have some Texas Bar-B-Q so they told me where to get it .Each morning after breakfast, Flo or Ashley would ask me where I was going that day and they would print out my directions . I like to take public transportation because I get to see more of the city I am visiting. After the third day of breakfast Lupita had noticed that I would have four cups of orange juice(the cups were very small) so she brought me a large glass so I would not have to fill the small ones ! On her day off Anna and her daughter took me on a tour of Houston and to the Galleria Shopping Center , how sweet of her ! Then there was Edith and Cindy on the front desk that always had time to talk to me about my travels to other countries. They gave me hugs when I left , and Gregory gave me my final pleasant ride to the airport. My room was always cleaned and stocked with clean towels every day, I will definitely go back .

I think that this hotel is good, just with the slowly internet and wet room. I very like the taco in the breakfast, I will still order this hotel when I came houston next time. I 'd like to say thank you to all of the stuff of the hotel!

Stayed here one night because it is near the airport and we had an early morning flight. Clean and comfortable. Very quiet especially considering how close it is to the airport. Adequate breakfast. Friendly staff. Offered to send shuttle to the Hertz car rental drop off to bring my husband back to hotel. However he walked as the hotel is very close to drop off point.

The room had a damp smell. Even once the AC got going it didn't go away. The shower has that plastic tub/wall which cheapens the entire room. The light from the hall was coming into the room from around the door all night. The coffee maker was this weird proprietary type that doesn't use ground coffee or Pods. What is that about?

We checked into the Best Western the night before our early morning flight out of Houston. The front desk staff was very friendly and our room was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet, even with planes flying overhead every few minutes. . I wish the hotel would have had a hot tub and a larger pool but overall it was great.

Nice enough hotel, a little dated but clean. Best part- free parking and shuttle to airport- great deal. Friendly staff, HBO, great value for the cost. Keep in mind it's a Best Western not a Westin. Keep your expectations in check.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Very easy to find, staff helpful, room spacious, bed comfortable. I used the laundry, and we had breakfast which is standard BW. As far as I remember they did have non dairy milk, although I had taken my own. They also have ice creams for sale in the lobby - wish I had known that earlier!! Minutes away from the car hire return.

Overall we had a pleasant visit in Houston. We had an excellent stay at Best Western Plus. The location is good. The service provided was great. The room was neat and clean. The beds slept very comfortable. The breakfast was great. It was a simple great breakfast. Would definitely stay again.....

My truck was broken into and the hotel did nothing to assist. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the crime in the area and the lack of cooperation from the owners. The only thing the did was comp one night stay at their facility.

Pretty well located, not far away from Downtown Houston, nor the different stadiums or other points of interests (NASA center, Kemah, Galvestone... The hotel is nice, tough in some rooms it might smell humidity when arriving, but staff is keen and quick to find another room if this happens.

If someone is looking for a nice, clean well run, and close to airport hotel, look no further. My family and I had a great 3 night stay. The staff is outstanding, especially the housekeeping for promptly changing out my iron when the one in the room broke, and keeping our room amazing with my kids always having a mess, thanks. It is close to Houston Hobby airport but you never hear the air noise plus they provide a shuttle to and from the airport. This place is great if you have kids free wi-fi, pool, and breakfast cant beat that. Overall it was a great stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed at the Best Western September 28 for one evening while awaiting out flight to York PA, on the 29th. The check in person was very friendly and helpful answering all of our questions. There a slight problem with the plumbing in the bathroom and it was resolved as soon as reported. We will return is a room is needed in the future.

No problem at all with this hotel. Staff very nice, room very comfortable, good bathroom. I used the laundry. Breakfast was the standard hot Best Western which I am not too fond of, but coffee and juice were both good, with nice pastries. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if using Hobby airport and car rental return.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times. We both felt that the rooms could be a little cleaner and the elevators were old and making various noises but overall it was a decent stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

There is a lot of competition among hotels in this area, but I picked this Inn primarily because there was a good rate on Expedia ($85). I was very happy with everything for the three nights I stayed. Room was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful when I needed advice. Breakfast bar (free) was better than most in this category. (I particularly liked the egg and sausage.biscuit when available.) Airport dropoff was prompt and friendly.

Always stay here when cruising out of Galveston. Staff is so friendly. Got a call once in the room to make sure my family did not need anything. Breakfast plentiful hot and ready. Check out was a breeze.

Internet would not work. Hotel staff rude. Manager took staffs side when I told them about it. I told the manager that I would contact corporate about it and she did not seem to care. I plan to write a letter to corporate about our stay.

This was a pre and post cruise stay. It was very close to Hobby airport and car rental place. It was not the greatest areas if you are on foot as their isnt much close by. But the hotel itself was clean and great staff. We had an enjoyable stay.

The location is good. There are a few nearby restaurants and it's close to the airport with a prompt shuttle. The rooms are clean. The hotel must have a humidity problem bc it smelled damp. I ran the ac and it got much better.

Have stayed here because of the cost, proximity to Hobby Airport, and transportation. Unfortunately, I usually have to leave before breakfast begins, hot tea and coffee are always available. The lobby/ refreshment area is attractive. The rooms are clean and large. Very good value. I was right by the elevator the last trip, but didn't hear noise at all and I'm a light sleeper.

This is a good place to stay the night before boarding in Galveston for a cruise. Generally pleasant and responsive staff. There is a permeating odor throughout the Inn which has been there the two times we have stayed in the past month. It smells of dampness. The first time we stayed, we had to ask for another room, which helped, but the odor persisted. The second time, we were on a different floor, same smell, but we became nose blind after about two hours. There is some fundamental problem that needs to be identified and resolved. The breakfast is great!

We flew into Houston/Hobby airport for a cruise. We stayed here due to issues with turning in rental cars in Galveston but that's another story. Very easy to find from the airport. We arrived early as our flight was earlier than scheduled and was before the posted check in time. The desk clerk, Edith was very friendly and professional. The lobby area was very clean and smelled good. We were allowed to check in about 2 hours early. Our room appeared clean and had the usual amenities. There was a musty odor but not terrible, was comfortable for a single night stay. The number of security cameras in the parking lot were unnerving and the area in general at night looks less desirable. Go inside and mind your own business and this will be a fine place for a night or two.

The room was clean, comfortable, and facilities well maintained. The included breakfast was decent. The food choices were good, and even though but was packed, the staff continuously kept more freshly cooked food coming. I have stayed at many hotels that I have paid quite a bit more and I give praise to the management team of this hotel for the excellent staff, comfort, cleanliness, and is an overall great value. If I had to make one suggestion is to use the power of the Internet to book, like TripAdvisor, you will save an additional amount over their direct prices.

Great pre cruise stay at this facility. Short trip via their courtesy shuttle. They really should market the Galveston cruise package better as we found it to be well worth it. The shuttle supervisor is Matin. He is one of the nicest men you will ever come across. The manager (Ashley) was also very accommodating as she let us store our bags for the day upon returning from our cruise while waiting for an evening flight. Two thumbs up for the Best Western Plus.

This hotel is ok. Looks like they've done some remodeling but might need to do a little more. The desk staff wasn't really friendly at all except for one woman. It was close to the airport but I couldn't hear the planes in my room.

Ashley was just great, she was very professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and tended to our request for additional towels. I would stay there again when I am in the area.

had to move three different rooms. first room the tub was clogged, second room there was a roach in the bed, all three rooms smelled like mold and wet carpet. ive had a good experience with best western plus on three different occasions, but this one was not good at all. I was disappointed.

We recently stayed one night at this hotel while visiting our daughter. The lobby and hallways were clean and smelled great. Our room was also very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Only stayed one night. The hotel is convenient for early flights out of Hobby. We were able to leave our car there for the week, free! Also, free shuttle to and from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with the free wi-fi. I could only connect when I was in the lobby.

Let's start with the good- -the staff was lovely and helpful. -The breakfast was nice -The lobby was pretty -airport shuttle. BUT Cockroaches Cockroaches Cockroaches. They must be used to this as they gave us a can of spray. We stayed in room 205 and it smelled horrible and musty and the carpet was damp. The entire room seemed wet. It was very unpleasant to be in there. The hall didn't smell like this and nothing else seemed wet but this room was downright uncomfortable. We were happy to leave. So despite the lovely employees and the free "pets" that came with the room there is no way I would stay there again.

Everything was fine after I fixed a couple of things. The toilet was running when we entered the room. Since i know a little about plumbing, I fixed it. In the tank, the chain was not adjusted properly but I fixed it. I also fixed the stopper in the sink which would not adjust at first. All else fine.

We only stayed one night before leaving for Galveston for our cruise. They have free parking and this place is on the newer side and clean. The breakfast was good. They had waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurts, cereals, pastries, fresh seasonal fruit and various juices. We had two Queen beds and the bathroom was fine. We had a microwave and a mini refrigerator. The price was very reasonable and everyone was real friendly.

The hotel was correct no more. The lady at check in was unpleasant and look like didn't like her job. The second lady the day after at about 5.00 pm was enjoy and she tell me where I can eat and to be careful if I go to walk outside. The breakfast was correct no more. I due to call the front desk during the night because there is too much noise upstairs. The day after, it was better. The noise was there but softer.

This hotel fit our needs. Free airport shuttle. Excellent breakfast buffet. Helpful and pleasant staff. Free wifi was a bit slow. We stayed there twice over one week's time. Would stay there if the need arose.

Very attentive staff. Great experience with my reservation. I made an error when booking the room on line and the customer support team helped me with the correction, very effectively. The mistake was mine and the policy stated with the rate was that no changes were possible, but they helped me with the correction without any additional expense.

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would! What ended up being a few nights at BW pre-move-in to our new house ended up being an extended stay of two weeks. After week one it was clear we would be needing to stay an extra week due to our postponed move in. Patricia and Edith were awesome, they worked with management to assist us in extending our stay with no problem & helped us get the best rates possible. The rooms were clean, housekeeping came daily, always had fresh clean towels, beds made. Clean towels/beds are a must with my family. Breakfast was good (eggs, meat items, yogurt, cereal, coffee, fruit...something for everyone) and on days I needed to leave before breakfast started they gave me to go packs that had cereal bars, fruit, etc. Pool was clean and appeared to be maintained. Two weeks is a long time to be in one place for any family, but BW plus made our stay comfortable. There was no doubt at all as to where we would stay the second week. It's rare that you find nice and helpful staff members consistently even on different shifts. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

The front desk clerk Cyndy at check in time was very nice, attentive, professional and she even took the time to help me get to my room. After a few minutes she made a courtesy call to my room, asking if everything was Ok and also letting me know if I needed anything. She'll be more than happy to assist me. Location was 5 minutes from airport. Hotel staff was excellent. The hotel looked great, we slept well, bed was comfortable. Had a problem with a roach.The man that picked us up at the airport looked and acted very professional and was very kind person.

The wifi was not working properly and we were unable to use it during our stay. The breakfast area is small and with the amount of people staying at the hotel it was virtually impossible to get breakfast so we had to go somewhere else and pay for a breakfast that we did not budget for.

Picked a friend up from Hobby, stayed here one night. Everything was clean & comfortable, good Wi-Fi. The only real complaint was the free breakfast. They diluted OJ & apple juice too much- it was tasteless & the selection of fruits & sweet rolls skimpy. I got the impression they were rationing & diluting to save money (?) on the breakfast. I would stay here if I needed to, but the Laquinta Inn next door was nicer.

I do not know the name of my housekeeper, but she came to clean my room and found the air-conditioner was not working. The front desk called me and I gave permission to move our things to another room. This was done and by the time I came back from work, we were moved into a new room with working air conditioning. This is above and beyond good service. I didn't even know the air was broken. Other hotels would have let me find it when I came in from work and then spend time moving... I love this hotel! You take such awesome care of us! Even when our assignments are in North Houston, we still stay with you and drive further. You are worth the extra drive time!

It is a close hotel to Hobby Airport and the Parking Spot is across the street. Room was very moldy smelling, but I didn't request a change in room, because of the short stay. Hotel staff was very nice. I did not eat the breakfast, due to time of flight.

It's a typical airport hotel, with some good points and some bad. The check-in clerk was nice and put us on the top floor, but the check-out guy was almost rude. When I walked up, he didn't greet me in any way. I booked through Southwest and when I asked for a receipt, he said I couldn't get one because I booked through Orbitz. I told him that I had booked through Southwest and he insisted I had through Orbitz. I again told him I booked through Southwest and he said, "Well, I can't give you a receipt." Maybe that was true, but he handled it very poorly, accusing me of lying. I gave "average" for service because he negated ther good service at check-in. The room (321) itself was decent, with a very comfortable bed, but there was a large stain on the chair cushion that made me not want to use it. But it was reasonably quiet in spite of being close to the airport and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was the typical free buffet, neither great not horrible.

The Best Western facility is beautiful, the staff is conscientious, courteous, friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are always immaculate with many amenities provided by the hotel. It is close to Houston Hobby airport but you never hear the air traffic plus they provide a shuttle to and from the airport. My only suggestion would be to clean the shuttle bus inside and out from time to time.

The service was fine but for the price the quality of the room was terrible. The room smelled like sour carpet. I continued to get worse throughout the night. The smell kept me up all night. I would not recommend.

I accidently booked a hotel at incorrect airport. We flew in on Christmas Eve, it was midnight. Such great staff, good food for breakfast. Clean accomodations. Thanks for a great stay in Houston. Each hotel staff member was knowlegable and friendly.

We had booked a room at this location as a one night stop as we were coming into the airport late in the evening and they offered free shuttle from the airport. We arrived and were quickly attended to by the front desk and given a room on the third floor. We arrived at the room and the minute we opened the door we were hit by a damp musty smell through out the whole room. We returned to the desk and explained our issue, the girl was great and actually gave us two more rooms to try. Unfortunately both rooms had a musty smell but one of the options she gave us we felt we could live with for one night . Apparently the Hotel needs to upgrade its systems and attempt to dry the Hotel out to get rid of the smells. The Free Breakfast and staffs efforts were great! The buildings ventilation and carpets need some serious upgrades. Would not return unless the facilities are updated in the future.

I already like this hotel as it is an excellent value and close to my customers in south Houston. I like it even more for the new breakfast items. And the fresh plantings and mulch make the hotel very inviting. The front desk staff are extremely helpful whether I need a forgotten item or need to figure expenses. And, I love my comfortable, clean bed. The staff and hotel make week long business trips much more tolerable and even comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel an extra night before departing Houston, due to the storms. The hotel allowed us to recheck into the room we had left and remain until our flight the next day. The staff remained calm in the midst of out of the ordinary circumstances. An off duty staff person brought us back from the airport after our flights were cancelled and there were no public vans available.

Experience was Great. Enjoyed my room, the breakfast, and how courteous all the workers are. Even have nice gym. I never stay at one hotel that offer me so much for cheap prices. I liked the microwave and refrigerator in all the room the nice lady say to me.

Just needed a room close to Hobby airport for my next day's flight home and this Best Western worked out beautifully. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is no restaurant on the premises or nearby, but they have a menu you can order from and get delivery right to the room. I did that and the food was fine (although a bit expensive). The breakfast in the morning was good and if you need a shuttle to the airport they can get one every half hour, but you have to let them know (only a few minutes in advance, though). All in all, I thought this was a good place to stay at Hobby and would recommend it.

Our check in and room were great. They even packed a little grab and go breakfast for us since we were leaving before breakfast hours. Desk clerk went above and beyond, and even walked out to show us the most secure place to park our F350 while we were gone. Right under the light post, in front of the office, with 3 security cameras in the area. We felt quite comfortable about leaving our truck there for 3 days. Unfortunately, even though we took all the precautions, someone tried to steal it! Both door locks and the ignition were ruined and the stereo yanked out! Not the way we wanted to end our trip. It took 4 hours to get a big enough wrecker to take our truck home, and the staff at the Best Western was very gracious as we hung out in the lobby for hours.

This was a Great experience for me. The room was great, relaxing, Jacuzzi is big enough for two. Lady preparing breakfast was so kind. Breakfast was fresh. The receptionists were nice. Patricia was very busy, but still very helpful with restaurant info. The pillows are so soft. I will be back!

Walked in and made a reservation due to a bad experience at the Red Roof Inn, and we were able to get room 119 right away which guaranteed us clean sheets and bathroom. The receptionist was very understanding and listened to our complaints although it had nothing to do with their company, but seemed very happy to provide us with a clean room.

Was received by staff with big smile, after I told them that I was really tired and hungry after traveling all day they were quick to offer the local restaurants and even offer a ride to them I was really surprised. To me they had an excellent breakfast I made sure the cook knew. I would surely recommend this one to all.

Our room was fine, though there was a stale odor in it. Complimentary breakfast was really good both days. Nothing special, just normal complimentary food. The concern that I had was how the guest front desk clerk treated my sister-in-law. We were visiting for her to receive her chemo at MD Anderson. Her room request was for ADA. When she got her key, we all went up to the room and upon going in, saw that it was not ready for her. Anyone undergoing chemo or sick knows that it is tough to travel much less have to deal with problems with hotel room. We went back down from 3rd floor ADA room and advised front desk. Girl acting like it was an inconvenience for her to be bothered with this problem. Sorry lady it was an inconvenience for us, especially my sister in law to deal with this. The clerk actually had audacity to ask if my SIL even needed the ADA room. It was appalling.
