A very decent hotel, and very convenient if you're coming off a long day's drive either north or south through NB. Clean, well run, but unfortunately not so affordable. For a room with two queen beds I paid $280 (tax included), with all manner of discounts applied (CAA, senior, veteran, all of which are applicable to me). This is just far too much for a hotel of this type. There is a pay-as-you-go breakfast, and a lounge if you're not too tired for a drink and a light meal after your long drive. Also a Tim Hortons about 300 meters away if you prefer that. Better than many hotels but, again, very, very pricey for no particular reason (it's Grand Falls, NB!).
Nice clean updated room, friendly service & quiet. Was disappointed that breakfast was no longer included. Did not get a chance to check out the pool area. Conveniently located just off the highway & close to town. Minutes away from the falls & gorge.
Stayed for a few nights while visiting family in Grand Falls. Conveniently located on the Trans Canada with easy access to town. Rooms were good size and well maintained. Walls are thin so be prepared to hear the neighbors, but everyone goes to sleep at a reasonable time. Breakfast (egg and ham panini) was very good and inexpensive. Large free parking lot, gas station and Tim Horton's across the street. There is an indoor pool we did not use but appeared to be a hit with kids.
Stayed one night in a large comfortable room whilst passing through on a road-trip in August. We arrived in a bit of a heatwave (31c) and were pleased to find the place and room had very efficient A/C. Check-in was easy and though their policy on free breakfast had recently changed, we were given a voucher to cover that as we'd booked before the policy change. Breakfast was fair with a McMuffin thing being their standard offering though yoghurt and muffins were also available. Dinner was also available and although the choice was quite limited, the burger we had was nicely prepared and there was a few beers and wines to choose from. Crucially it saves jumping in the car as this hotel ison the edge of town with nothing else around. Whilst it's a standard hotel next to the main highway, it's a cut above the average and worth your time if your stopping in the area.
Very clean, modern hotel. Very comfy beds and pillows. Restaurant on site for a quick meal. Breakfast served but only limited to a few choices and not included in price of the room. Pool was very cool and jets on hot tub not working so didn't use during our stay. Gym was sufficient for our needs. Very friendly staff. Overall a very pleasant stay while visiting family in Grand Falls. Will likely stay there again.
Nope. Never again. Hotel has convenient on /off highway spot & a restaurant. Clean but located in the middle of nowhere with only a gas station with a small Tim Hortons attached nearby. So you're forced to eat there or drive back onto the highway to find places in town…and those all close by 8 pm. And the hotel charges for breakfast. No thank you
The beds were very comfy and the room was clean, the hot tub was a good size and it was a good temperature. The wifi worked pretty well. The air conditioner was very loud, we were disappointed to find out that breakfast was not included as displayed even though it was advertised as such on booking websites. The pool was very shallow and small for teenage kids. We tried to order dinner but were turned away before closing time because they said they had too many orders.
Nice rooms and very pleasant staff. The pool and hot tube were nice and uncrowded when we went there. We tried the in-house 'restaurant' for dinner - it was disappointing - the spicy crunchy chicken wrap was neither spicy nor crunchy. The goat cheese beet salad was just basic ingredients served in a plastic clamshell container, like you'd buy in a grocery store. The complimentary breakfast was basic but adequate (bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel, with juice or coffee).
Booked in for one night should have stayed a week Bar indoor pool washers/dryers immaculate inside and out Staff great They speak French English as well Beautiful place to stay even though it's a little bit out of town you wouldn't know Huge car park Highly recommend it to anyone to see the falls
The building is old but the rooms are fairly well updated and always clean. We love the outside pool and the old world charm of the wood and brick and fireplaces. Everything we have eaten in the dining room has been delicious. We stay here every year on the way to and from Toronto to visit family.
Room was very nice but onsite restaurant did not meet expectation. Evening Meal was pricey & mediocre at best. Breakfast was NOT included in rate. We refused to pay the extra charge & went to the nearby Tim Hortons drive thru instead. We have chosen BW because it offers “free” buffet style breakfast. If that tradition is being discontinued we will no longer stay at BW. Advice is to confirm in advance when booking & not assume. Our bad.
This was a fine hotel with free parking. Our room was clean, and the staff seemed friendly. We used the gym which was fine, and it was easy to walk to a nearby gas station. We received vouchers for breakfast at the cafe they had. They were for $8. This bought a breakfast croissant or English muffin with egg and bacon, 2 hash browns, and a coffee. The food was tasty, and the worker was very friendly. This hotel was close to Grand Falls and was a good stop in between PEI and Quebec City.
The breakfast offering that I had paid for wasn't as advertised on the hotel website (Buffet Breakfast). It was in fact a brown paper bag containing a cake, a muffin, an apple and a carton of orange juice. Initially i was told I had to pay extra for this, after an argument with Chantel on reception, she gave me a voucher to exchange for a brown paper bag. No diabetic option offered for my wife, on complaining that we weren't informed of the recent change ie no nice breakfast buffet, and that I didn't think it was good value on offer for the breakfast fee paid, Chantel was dismissive and just told me to have a nice day. Very rude and unhelpful. On the plus side the room was comfortable, but the breakfast experience and the way the situation was handled by the 3 staff on duty has turned me off of Best Western. I could have stayed in much cheaper motel close by and got a nicer breakfast.
It used to be a pleasure to stay at this hotel hotel. Recently, the hotel made changes to the breakfast policy where we now get a breakfast in a bag instead of the original hot breakfast where you can choose your own items. Not a good move. Basically the breakfast was disgusting. in addition, it's time to change the carpet in the rooms. There is a smell when you walk in and it stays throughout the night.
Easy to access and short drive into town if desired. this is a regular stop as we pass through the area.
A weekend family trip on a basketball weekend in GF turned out to be better than expected. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but was pretty good. Rooms were a good size, the bar was well stocked and the hotel had a hot tub, a good pool and a decent exercise room. Breakfast was okay but the coffee was excellent and the lady on duty in the mornings was really helpful.
Everything From Food,Beds,Swimming it had it all, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone with family, great location if your going for hockey tournament as the rink is right across the street so it was perfect
This hotel and the guest rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It has all of the amenities you will need and is close to the highway. Your stay comes with breakfast. Overall good value.
I like this property very much, it is definitely my go to spot when working in the area. The staff is very nice and are pleasant to deal with. I have spent a lot of nights at this property this year and I will be returning in the new year. I am looking forward to their new property when it opens.
Stay at this location every time I drive down East. A friendly, dependable and consistent stay. Excellent customer service with a smile. The rooms are always clean and tidy with all the amenities you need.
Stayed one night en route by chance due to unforeseen circumstances. I was welcomed warmly, helped with a smile and the accommodations were super clean, welcoming and fresh. Breakfast was available and sufficient.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Grand Falls NB Canada. Everything was pleasant including the staff. However, the breakfast was lacking bacon and the hot tub in the spa was not in sufficient working order. Had a nice walk to the falls and had dinner on Broadway St.
I was very nervous with staying here. I have stayed at a Best Western before because everything else was booked and desperately looked for other hotels after checking in, thinking I may sleep in my car…… I normally try to find a Marriott or similar. I was not expecting 5 star here. I had low expectations but my impression of Best Western was very wrong and I now they are NOT all the same. Maybe the Plus is the key? This was the only decent hotel in the area and I didn't have the time this trip to stay far away but I am so happy I stayed here. I normally stay in Fredericton and have to drive 1.5 plus to get to the area out of fear of a terrible stay. I was so wrong! This place is clean, comfortable and has the kindest staff. It is an older property but has no old small and feels clean. I will absolutely stay here from now on and I am very happy I found this place. If your nervous about staying here like I was don't be. It's actually great! I did not take part in the breakfast that is included but did spend some time in the bar at night. The bartender was the sweetest women and although I only had a glass of wine ppl were eating and they seems to be enjoying their pub food. Clean, comfortable and the most amazing staff!!!
We called in advance to book a room away from noises on the top floor and the receptionist came across as difficult on the phone, although confirmed a suite on the top floor away from lifts has been reserved for us. As we arrived however, we noticed the bedroom was overlooking towards the intersection of the motorway with one other road and we were hoping, since the town is so sleepy (very few businesses in Grand Falls are open after 6pm!!!): - strange arrangement with the sink not in the small bathroom, where I noticed an insect escaped the carpeted suite and wanted probably to run back there!!! - thankfully we slept OK, although waking up many times per night and what I liked most about the hotel was the very mild water, unlike London UK where the water is very hard, hence having lots of baldies!!!! - the breakfast was included and the 'large matron' kept looking at people talking loud to show how important she was and how little, us the paying customers are: what is wrong with speaking quietly since the customer is paying your salary? - eating after 6pm was difficult since almost everything is closed but we found Le Grand Saut located on the road which leads to the falls. Returning from Halifax we wanted to eat again here, yet it was closed at 2pm, like most of the businesses - sleepy town, sleepy patterns, we concluded. Nothing like London where everything is open almost 24/7
Overall this is my go to stop when travelling down east. Never been disappointed or had any issues. Pool and Restaurant are both nice and the complimentary breakfast is always a bonus for starting your day.
I paid for the top rated room because my wife and I had been travelling for some time and I wanted to have a special last night, so I booked the King with the Jacuzzi ... the highest cost room. The room was very average, carpet old and worn and everything about the quality was a low grade yet the price for one night was over $300. Very dissatisfied.
This amazing Hotel is a must for any traveller ! This is a very comfortable, clean and so inviting atmosphere that we have experienced! The breakfast was delicious with great choices! Loads of parking and easy access from Trans Canada Highway! thankyou Team and see you soon!!
Hotel is clean but did not meet our expectation of a "Plus" location. Bed mattresses were soft and did not provide any back support, breakfast was OK (we've had much better at other plus locations), fridge has no freezer capacity. Wifi is TERRIBLE.
This is a very nice hotel. It's in a quiet, somewhat rural location, very nicely decorated and the staff was efficient and friendly. We stayed here twice within the past month. The breakfast had many choices and was nicely set out. The price was reasonable for the quality of the rooms. The bar serves pub fare but there is not a restaurant close by so on our second visit, we brought our dinner with us. If you don't mind driving to a restaurant, there are some in the town and it is not far. When we are done driving for the day, we are done. If you have time, visit the falls!
The beds were super comfortable and the heavy curtains blocked all light at night. The bathroom was spacious. I loved that there were 2 comfy chairs to sit in. Also, everything was spotless. The complimentary breakfast had lost of variety (eggs, ham, sausage, toast, cereal (some gluten free), muffins, fruit, yogurt, etc). Staff were friendly. I would stay here again when passing this way.
The facilities were what you would expect of any Best Western. Clean, in good repair and comfortable. I was disappointed at the "Restaurant/Lounge" on site. It appeared that all food preparation was done using a microwave (Including the "Pub" fare). My kids enjoyed the onsite pool certainly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I was also disappointed at the change from Golden Malted Waffles, at breakfast, to some kind of auto making pancake station. Pancakes were good, but I LOVED the Golden Malted Waffles. All in all a very pleasant overnight stay and for a very reasonable rate. In fact their rate compared to the Best Western in Edmunston was a primary choice for stopping here.
Stayed one night after driving all day. Late arrival, no problem! Breakfast was excellent. Coffee was awesome. The beds and linens were perfect. I loved this hotel. It was close to the highway so very convenient.
The rooms, staff, and services at this hotel were remarkable. Very comfortable stay. I would stay here again as well as recommend it to anyone who needs a hotel in the area or even just a weekend getaway with the family.
The front desk personnel was very helpful and got me checked in very quickly after a long day at work. No issues with check in (the company I work for has a direct billing account). Great service all around.
I normally don't sleep well elsewhere, but at BW it was quiet and the bed was so comfortable. I slept like a log. That is amazing for me. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and tidy and so was the fitness room.
Overall, excellent experience. Staff were friendly, room was clean, beds were comfy. We didnt use the pool, but it seemed to be in good order. The hotel is showing a couple signs of aging (a bit of peeling paint in bathroom), but is otherwise very well kept. No complaints at all.
Very nice hotel...staff is awesome. Well appointed rooms...lovely views...very efficient. I would recommend this place if you are in the Grand Falls area. Nice and clean...super helpful staff members. We appreciated the 5 star service!
Professional staff, will stay there again for sure. Thank you very much for your hospitality and for being extra attentive to my stay as there was a team of hockey players that weekend and you made sure I had a room where it was quiet.
I am very disappointed by my stay at the Best Western Grand-Sault in Grand Falls, NB on the 12-15th of October 2022. On the morning of the 13th of October, 2022, I went to the pool with my kids around 9am. My kids played in the pool and I went to the hot tub. While entering the hot tub, I slipped and fell into the hot tub. There was no railing and the anti-slip on the steps were non-existent. I had hurt myself to the point I am still hobbling around (3 weeks later) with a bad right foot and right knee, and have missed some work. I have also had trouble sleeping a few days in the last 2 weeks due to the pain and have had to take medication to lessen the effects. I have been to the hospital and luckily they said that it is not broken. I am unable to put a shoe/boot on currently, due to the pain. I had told the front desk agent about the fall in the hot tub. The next day they said they cleaned the hot tub. They had said that the manager or owners would get back to me regarding the matter. It is now the 3rd of November, 2022, and I haven't heard anything from the hotel. It seems like they are hoping that it will just go away. My wife has tried to get in contact with management and the owners at the hotel and has heard nothing back. I feel like my concerns were not addressed and am very disappointed. I feel like I was just a number and gave them money and they did not concern themselves with how I am doing.
No restaurant on or near the property other than a Tim Horton's , which is fine if you are starving. You want 200 characters when so far as I am concerned I said it all in 100. Again. Please put or get someone to put a roadhouse type restaurant on the property. It doesn't have to be fancy. Pub food or a Sports Bar will be fine.
This best western should be used as the model for all best westerns or any hotel for that matter. The rooms were immaculate. The service was excellent and seemed to enjoy assisting us as guests. We were stunned to find out the hotel was not brand new since it was so well maintained and cleaned. We have stayed at dozens maybe hundreds of best western hotels over the past 30 years and this hotel is hands down the best of them all!
We stayed for one night on our way back from a trip to PEI, Nova Scotia and Les Iles de la Madeleine. The woman on the front desk was very nice and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. They offered a buffet in the morning with many options and plenty of room and tables to sit at. It was a very pleasant stay and honestly, they could charge more. We're heading out next year and we'll be staying in as many Best Westerns as we can. Thanks for stay!!
Stayed on our way to and from Halifax, and would definitely stay again. Impeccably clean - as I left, I saw one of the staff cleaning the bottom of the front door - friendly and helpful staff, easy on and off the highway, and free hot breakfast. There is a pool and gym, although we didn't use them, I imagine they are just as clean as the rest of the place. Drive past Edmunston and stop here, you won't regret it.
Was thrilled with our room, the hotel staff and the breakfast. We arrived late only to be greated with smiles and very helpful staff. When we arrived in our room we were very pleasantly surprised with the amenities. Will definitely be staying at this hotel more often!
The staff were all professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean, well laid out, and the furnishings were tasteful and fit the space nicely. The bed was comfortable. The windows open, so one can let fresh air in, which is a feature I appreciated.
Nice, clean hotel with a nice e selection of breakfast items. Breakfast area was kept extremely clean and was filled promptly when items got low. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Was an enjoyable stay.
Check in was quick and smooth, and a free bottle of water was given. Room was clean, internet worked very well. Breakfast offered was buffet style with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, juice, yogurt, coffee offered and was very good!
Access to the hotel is very good. Ample parking close to lobby entrance. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and effective during both check in/check out processes. The breakfast experience was quite pleasant. A wide variety of hot/cold items were offered. The attendant was efficient at keeping all food areas well supplied. The breakfast room was easy to get to. The television picture on offer was very poor. Although the tv was HD compatible, the picture offered was a very fuzzy, antiquated analog experience with the picture not fitting on the screen. Parts of the picture were off the sides of the screen. The beds were very soft, not offering great support.
Staff was really polite and courteous. Clean. Ok breakfast. Room was really thight, no table, like a prison cell. Noisy wooden built hotel. It cost us 254$CAD for a single night. Not impress, not worth this price. We had better room at better price elsewhere. We tried some Best Western Plus and we aren't impress time after time, we're thinking never go back with BW+.
We stayed here overnight on our trip home to Ontario from the maritime. This hotel is not walking distance to any restaurants so we were pleasantly surprised by the pub food that they provide in the lounge. It was good & saved us from having to order pizza. Nice clean spacious room and the breakfast buffet was great too (easy, sausage, waffles, muffins, etc..) wish they'd had more fresh fruit options.
The hotel is clean and the rooms are quite big. The breakfast wasn't bad, although a little dry, but the coffee was good, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Everyone spoke french and english.
The hotel was clean and for one night stay that should be all I needed, however my room card lost its programming 3 times in less than 12 hours. No, I did not have it next to my phone or any other electronic device that would've affected it
Excellent caring staff, staff going the "extra mile" to answer our needs, great breakfast, Pool and hot tub were awesome. Location is off the highway, and close the town, Tim Hortons across the street :)
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was impeccably clean and added amenities on site such as the bar and nibbles upon arrival. The hotel is clean, modern and well located for quick and easy access to the trans Canada hwy
The Best Western in Grand Falls is always welcoming and clean. Your stay includes an excellent hot breakfast of a variety of foods as well as fresh fruit, etc. It is conveniently located near the exit and the rooms are very comfortable.
We stayed at the Best Western this past weekend with my son's hockey team. Chantal and the other employees were amazing. They were always happy to help. They even provided a room so that our players and parents could socialize. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean. We will be back!
everything was beautiful and new and the staff was very helpful and showed a genuine concern made great suggestions on local restaurants and upgraded my room to a king room for the last night, they always had a bright smile and a hello and good morning
BW Plus is our preferred hotel and Grand Falls is top notch...we always feel welcome there. The staff is friendly, the beds are great and the hotel is very clean. It is a convenient location and is great for our business traveling needs.
A very welcoming hotel, sweetly decorated for the holidays. Our room was very clean and not too scented which is an issue for me. Hotel staff were great. Youth hockey team here and were very noisy but were told quiet after 11 which was enforced. The staff called us when the kids were out of the pool and allowed us to go for some quiet time. Breakfast was pick up and go, cereal or egg muffin. Coffee good and I'm picky with my coffee. There are also Keurigs in room with fridge and microwave. Nice bathroom. Comfy beds with 4 pillows. I love pillows! Even gave us a late check out. Would definitely stay again!
Stayed at Best Western Plus Grand-Sault on November 4th. We got an unexpected upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. It was very relaxing after a long day. The front desk lady was very nice and explained everything we needed. The hotel is super clean and well decorated. The lobby is awesome. The bed was very comfortable.
clean, well appointed, quiet, mainly shut down due to covid but has all the amenities in normal time. Staff were great, parking is excellent particularly if you are towing a trailer. Take outs deliver to the hotel right to your door. access to the Trans Canada. Will stay there again.
That Sarah girl has quite the attitude. Disrespectful and looked like she wanted to be anywhere but at work. Not sure if id come here again. Breakfast was good, service was pretty quick. Rooms were spotless
Great hotel for a stopover on a trip to the Maritimes. Easy access off the highway, clean and spacious rooms. Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast is a little to be desired. Free parking. Gas and amenities nearby. Would definitely recommend.
We were travelling though and stopped a night here. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. There is a pool and fitness room with a few machines and weights. Tom Hortons is across the road. It was a perfect, restful stop on our journey.
This is a Great Best Western location. It was clean and more modern than other Best Western locations I have stayed in. It didn't have that "old hotel" smell like some other locations I have stayed at. I would recommend to anyone.
Newest hotel in the area and seems very popular. Easy access just off the highway. Breakfast is good. Internet is good. Not within short walking distance to downtown. Tim hortons just across the street.
Driving from Nova Scotia to Ontario, we stopped here for the night and absolutely would stay here again. The room was comfortable, clean and felt like a resort. Dustin was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pool and hot tub were great, and the hot breakfast was everything you could want and more. Mona kept the breakfast room stocked and was also just so friendly and awesome. We will be back!!
Always satisfied, never dissapointed! Comfy bed and pillows, spacious room, updated bathrooms, fridge, TV, free wifi. I only stay in this hotel when I go to Grand Falls, necause the staff is always happy to help!
We stayed here 1 night on our way to PEI from Ontario. Hotel was super clean and felt very covid safe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a fair size with a great bathroom. Lots of counter space. Lots of space IN the shower for things like shampoo and soap (which rarely happens in hotels!). We were very happy with our stay and would stay here again in the future.
Excellent hotel which is thoroughly updated, beautiful, comfortable and offers all amenities including pool, gym and lounge/bar. I stay at the Hampton Inns in the U.S. and Best Western Plus hotels meet or exceed those fine hotels.
We had a great time at this hotel - the service and all staff were wonderful, the pool was a blast, and the breakfast was more than we were expecting. All-around, it was a great place to stay, and we will definitely stay here again!
Clean hotel; good fitness room; nicely appointed rooms; breakfast included with good options. Staff were very friendly and professional. Good location off major highway. Close to town for restaurants and stores if needed.
Close to highway and town. High room price for size of room and bed. Helpful and friendly staff. 3 kilometers from falls. Limited selection toon of restaurants in area. Shopping mall located at top of hill from the falls with liquor store
The staff was phenomenal, always extremely friendly. The rooms were very clean an overall excellent experience. Highly recommended! Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was in a great location for our stay.
A great place to spend the night. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will stay at this Hotel on our way home also. It was good to get a good nights sleep while traveling through. Breakfast was ready when we were.
Stayed at this property from March until the end of May 2021 whilst working in the area, the hotel provided for all our needs during the strange Covid 19 times we are currently living through, whilst the rooms were maintained by hotel staff on a minimum number of occasions they provided all our housekeeping needs as and when required.
Located right off the trans Canada highway in Grand Falls, close to downtown restaurants and attractions. We had a king room on the main floor with a whirlpool tub! Room was comfortable and clean. Bar fridge and coffee Center in room. The room had two bottles of wine for sale. The hotel was quiet considering how close to the highway it was. Nice pool. Breakfast was the new normal type....brown paper bag with breakfast sandwich, yogurt, milk, juice and an apple... It was a great stay!
Overall this was one of the best places I have stayed at in years. Rooms and overall site were well cared for and staff was great. Would recommend this to anyone. Rooms were well stocked with ammenities for the period we were staying to minimize the inetraction with staff during the Covid pandemic
My expectations were pretty low given that across the country businesses were closing down amid the coronavirus pandemic. I expected staff to be stressed and nervous about dealing with the public and that as a result of fear of spread of contamination I expected the overall condition of the hotel to have deteriorated. Never should have worried for a second. If anything, the condition of the hotel was better than I had ever seen it with extra care placed on maintaining hygiene throughout my stay. The hotel was a model corporate citizen and staff were always friendly, courteous, helpful and understanding. Overall it was probably among the top five hotel stays I have ever had - and I have travelled a lot - and it was not one of the five highest rated hotels where I have stayed. Kudos to Best Western for exceeding all expectations.
Easy check-in, great service, super clean and comfortable room. An added convenience with this particular Best Western is that they have a small bar area (with bartender) offering drinks and hot snacks. Dustin was an excellent bartender, friendly and first class service. The bar area doubles as a breakfast area in the morning and they offer hot breakfast, toast, sausages, coffee, etc. Which is included with room.
Great spot to overnight near the TCH and the snowmobile trail brings you directly to hotel. Rooms are clean and they serve a good breakfast which is included with your room. Nice little bar which will serve you cold beer and finger food
I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Best Western. The staff are incredible, the amenities superior and the rooms are always spotless and, in my experience, the most like "Home". It was effortless to wind down and relax after a day of work. Thank you Best Western!!!
Stayed their a few times. Fast and most friendly check-in. Super efficient staff. Breakfast was awesome and offered many choices. The lady serving the breakfast was making sure that everyone had what they needed. The room was clean and well managed. offers a small fridge and free WIFI. The Finger food addition to the bar have a great selection and on a cold night, it was appreciated.
From the time I called to inquire about the team rate, the staff at BW - Grand Falls went above & beyond for us. They offered us a team rate and even offered our players a room with a tv so that they could watch the Raptors game together with their coach. All parents and players have commented on the amazing hotel and staff. A special thank you to Chantal!!
The room itself wasnt bad, it was clean. The shower could have been cleaner. The internet was ok. During check in the clerk was rude He prioritized walk ins over our prebooked room (which was booked more than 3 weeks prior to our arrival) and didnt seem to care.
WE have stayed hear on our way to and from PEI for many years. Highly recommend it-clean, friendly staff, and beans wirth their complimentary breakfast. Free ice, newspapers, and a pool if you have kids.
Quickest and most friendly check in. Super efficient staff. Breakfast was expansive with many choices. The breakfast lady, for the early hour we were there, was extremely pleasant and efficient. The room was clean and well managed. The amenities, soap and stuff, were a step above the usual. The getting there from the highway a bit tricky. Wonder if they considered better signage? Like when leaving parking lot, arrows pointing to highway.
Great hotel, fairly new, mattresses are unbelievably comfortable and they have black out curtains. Slept to 8:00 am! They have a s bar with finger food to snack on perfect! I was surprised there was a pool and hot tub which I definitely took advantage of. Kevin at the front desk was extremely helpful!
Very friendly atmosphere. Staff are great .. manger knows me by name ! Bed are soooooo comfy ! Nice and quiet rooms ... with a homey feel! Pool and hot tub are great ... I'm here once a month for work and wouldn't go anywhere else
Excellent facility which includes breakfast to start your day off. Very close to the trans canada highway. quiet / clean rooms. Very impressed. Lots of parking with quick access. Excellent location with the ability to order local food for delivery to the room.
The Best Western chain has exceeded all of my expectations in a positive way. Every detail is consistently seen to by the friendly staff and the rooms are immaculate. I particularly like being able to open a real window for fresh air instead of having to suffer locked windows and forced to listen to an air-echanger or the miserable on-going noise of an air conditioning unit during the night. (This is my major complaint with the Comfort Inn chain). At Best Western the beds are great and the pillows wonderful. The breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are really soundproof. In total: I ALWAYS enjoy my stay and I am delighted to share my experience. I always plan my travel schedule especially so I can stay at the Grand Falls location.
This building is relatively new with well designed rooms. We found that the hotel was handy to the highway but you need a car if you want to eat out. They do serve breakfast but we opted for breakfast at Tim Horton's across the road.
Stayed at this hotel last night! Great big room, very comfortable! Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a big breakfast included which was great! Perfectly located right off the trans canada highway, you will not regret your stay Pool is currently out of service. Maybe another time! :)
Hubby and I had just one night here. We booked a king suite with fire place and had room #211. The room was a good size with two lounge chairs. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee machine. The bed was super comfy with great linen and doona/duvet but the pillows were terribly lumpy. Everything was clean. Bathroom was new and spotless. Derek, the barman was very friend efficient. Hotel had a pool and guest laundry. Plenty of parking and easy to unload. The hotel is a little remote from down town and restaurants. You have to drive the 1.5 to 2km. The bar serves a few bar snacks but not meals. Breakfast was included and was ok but not outstanding. We'd stay again.
This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel, during a trip between the Maritimes and Ontario. We have been very satisfied both times, and will continue to use this hotel as our mid-point overnight stop.
We stayed here one night (Aug 29/19) and overall had a very pleasant visit. The staff are super friendly, including the front desk, the lounge barman, and the breakfast attendant. We appreciated that the lounge had appetizers available since there is no restaurant. Room had a huge TV. One suggestion would be to add a small magnifying up mirror on the wall in the bathroom.
We always stay at this hotel on our way to Nova Scotia. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. I love the fact that you can now get finger foods and drinks in the breakfast room.
I am so glad we stopped here after staying at another hotel the night before and having a very different experience. We slept very well and the bed was so comfortable. Food was great and the staff were all friendly. In the morning I enjoyed my coffee sitting on the front hill, taking in the beautiful view. This hotel has it all and I am glad we tried staying at the Best Western.
We stayed on our way back to PEI from Quebec with kids. Staff were super friendly, but we were a bit disappointed in the pool....it was pretty cold for young kids, and the hot tub was out of service which didn't help. Breakfast was good...lots of options. Overall, price is probably too high for the overall quality of the hotel. In the future not sure we would stay there with our kids.
This property if very nice. Rooms were clean and in good condition, The bedding was good quality. Front desk staff were polite and helpful, and went the extra mile when I had a follow up on my payment for the room. There was a good hot/cold selection for breakfast, the food was well stocked, and the eating area was clean. Good coffee too! I'd certainly stay at this property again.
We've stayed at this hotel a few times, and each time we are never disappointed! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet, our last visit we were across from the elevator, didn't hear a thing. The staff are always cheerful and greeting you each time you walk by the front desk. I would highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for your hospitality Grand-Sault staff!
Breakfast was very bad, lack of choices and terrible coffee. The overall facility and amenities are old and for sure it needs a interior restyling of all the areas. It is a plus, but not even a bottle of water is complimentary. For 200 CAD is way too expensive for the value.
Front desk manager was VERY rude. We booked as a group and one of parents from our group received a confirmation email with a lower price for the second night and not only would she not give the other parents the same rate, she wouldn't honor the confirmation email price stating that it was a glitch in the system and that she doesn't have to honor anything. Very poor customer service! Also we were staying in Grand Falls for a baseball tournament and there was a possibility that we wouldnt play on Sunday therefore we wanted to check out Saturday morning. We asked if we could make a reservation for Saturday night knowing that we would have until 4pm to cancel and the front desk manager Chantal, wasn't going to let us stating that she wanted to know if we were coming back by the time she left at 3 so she was going to do us a favor and let us call by 3. She stated that the picy was for people coming from out of town and since we were already in town it didn't apply to us. We would only know if we were continuing in the tournament by 4pm yet she would not honor the hotel policy of free cancelation by 4pm. While she was giving us a hard time my 13 year old daughter started laughing at something that was said to her by another parent very quietly and the manager raised her voice and pointed her finger saying "excuse me, what are you laughing at, are you laughing at me?" Talk about unprofessional!! We love Best Western hotels but I will never stay at the one in Grand Falls NB again!! What a disappointment!
We recently stayed at the Best Western in Grand Falls which is located right along the main highway. The room was clean well maintained with a comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet which is a big plus. The hotel has a pool and hot tub to relax in. The hotel has a free breakfast which was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Outstanding stay.
We stayed at the Best Western on our way to and from PEI/Nova Scotia. We were quite happy with both stays. The hotel is right beside the highway, so it's very convenient! The rooms are a good size and exceptionally clean! We have stayed both in the front and back sides of the hotel and found both to be quiet. I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while my son swam in the pool. Breakfast was good. All of the staff were very friendly and professional! We'll be staying here again on our next trip to the East Coast!
We enjoyed a great stay at the Best Western in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. The room was excellent, service was great, Breakfast was superb in the morning. Location of the hotel was ideal just off the main trans Canada. thanks for a great stay.
We were looking for a good place to stop overnight with our dog on our journey from Southwestern Ontario to the South Shore in Nova Scotia. This hotel met all the criteria, on-line, so we booked it. We were so pleased with our cloice! The pet-friendly rooms were clean, fully-equipped, and smelled good! (We were concerned about smell, not having travelled with our dog such a long distance before.) The guest rooms had a microwave, fridge, and counter area with dinnerware and utensils. There was an indoor pool and the breakfast/dining area doubled as a bar with appetizer foods in the evening. What we really liked was the large amount of greenspace surrounding the property that allowed for a good dog-walk or run. We had pizza delivered to our room from Pizza Delight (in town-delicious!) and many other quick stop places (like Tim Hortons) were closeby. The staff were very friendly and conversed comfortably with guests in English and French. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
A little out of town but only five minutes to town centre by car, minimal other facilities in the area. The hotel is relatively new and in good condition, the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and in excellent condition. No restaurant on site but acceptable bar food is available in the bar. Not much ambiance in the bar area as it is in the breakfast room, but good friendly staff. Breakfast was good with all items plentifully available. We would certainly stay here again.
Was upgraded to a Suite at no extra charge. Very unexpected and thankful surprise and the room was awesome. Pool was nice but the hot tub was not working as it should have. Service was excellent. Quiet rooms and hotel. Breakfast was okay.
I arrived at this hotel at 10:30 pm, having driven from a Toronto that day. All I wanted to do was watch some tv, have a bath and sleep. Imagine my annoyance when I picked up the remote and the tv wouldn't work. I pressed every button etc. Gave up and went to bed. The next morning I mentioned this to reception, her reply......oh did you use the remote next to the tv. Yes I did.....oh that's for the DVD player not the tv. The tv one is over the other side next to the bed (the other side to where I slept). She then replied.....people do this all the time! Not helpful really. Sort it out, at least put signage, make it clearer and add to the room info folder that there are two remotes. Plus sides the room was lovely. Downside breakfast. As usual plastic plates, no seating, coffee machines broken (they did get some from Tim Hortons eventually). Messy area and unappetising food.
Courteous and helpful staff, very clean. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. They have a hot tub too- next time I'll pack my swimsuit! Staff greet you in the halls which makes you feel very welcome. Lighting in the room was ample and everything worked well.
We were driving from Ontario to PEI. Best place to stop was Grand Falls, N.B. This hotel is amazing. Great location, great staff, nice lounge/bar, hot breakfast, and a large very comfortable room. We actually would have liked to stay longer. Highly, highly recommend.
I gave 5 stars because I was so impressed with the excellent service, comfort and friendliness of the hotel. Driving for the first time from Ontario to Nova Scotia, this was the perfect place to stop on the first night. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the building, decor, and amenities offered. The staff were friendly and welcoming after a long journey.
We broke our journey from Charlottetown here. Easy access to and from the highway and although our room was at the front we didn't experience any significant noise from the road. Check in was fast, friendly and efficient and the various dining options were explained. Although there isn't a restaurant as such; there is a lounge bar which serves finger food, but we opted for a pizza to be delivered which was on time to the minute! There is a coin-operated laundry - just one washer and one dryer - which was very handy for us. Breakfast was fine - scrambled egg and turkey sausage were the hot options - I would have liked some kind of fruit salad, but that's me being picky. A good option for a one night stopover.
Comfy bed, relaxing room, and I couldn't hear anything that was being said out side of the room. Couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was good too, many options that change daily. The front desk personnel were fast and courteous. I would recommend this hotel.
We drove from Ontario and had booked the best western for a 4 night stay. We had other family staying there and when we arrived to check in asked where they were staying and asked if we could stay on the same floor. We were accommodated no problem. We were pleasantly surprised with our room, it was a suite with a separate sitting area which came in handy with family members in the area to come up. We loved the hot breakfast each morning to start our day. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was a little softer than we are used to, so it took some adjusting. The motel had the gym and pool area but we did not take advantage of those. The staff were very nice and helpful. They do have a lounge and there was advertising in the elevator for food and drink but it was never open during our stay. Overall a great stay and we would return
Stayed here 1 night visiting customer. Nice hotel with quick check in and out. Attentive staff. Perhaps somewhat noisy due to highway just outside and some trucks pushing the throttle up the hill. Room is nice and comfy.
This is the best spot to stay in Grandfalls. Very friendly and welcoming staff as always! They have a nice fitness room and pool for those who want to keep in shape. Conveniently next to TransCanada Highway!
overall when I arrived, I looked to see if you had a bathtub as I am not a shower person. I had been on the road for a few days the other hotels that I stayed at didn't have a bathtub which i was very disappointed, when I seen Best Western had a tub that made my day. Please do not get rid of them as not every one is a shower person.
We stayed at this hotel during a volleyball tournament for my daughter. Very clean, great breakfast and comfy beds. The pool area was very clean and pool temp was nice. The jets in the hot tub are very weak, that was the only downfall about going for a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Other than that i would reccomend this hotel to anyone.
We were not planing on staying at this hotel as part of our cross country drive, but my son and I were so happy that a snowstorm brought us to this wonderful establishment. This hotel has the friendliest, most accommodating staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in, and that is saying a lot. Each person friendlier than the next and willing to help us in english and en français! The snow was already being cleared as we were walking in, the hostess was very friendly and informed us of the various things we could get in the restaurant/bar. The bartender was just so friendly to us and made a drink that definitely took the edge off of a very bad travel day. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing and the beds were quite comfortable. Though the hotel was getting full, we didn't feel like that was the case at all. When travelling, you never want to have to pull off the road and stay at an unplanned destination, but we were quite happy to have had it happen. Management, your staff really is the best of the best! Thank you staff for making our experience in your hotel so fantastic, we would stay with you on purpose any time :)
The staff were professional, friendly, helpful and obliging. The hotel was clean and tidy and our room was well looked after. We will endeavor to stay here again as it is the mid point of our journey.
Very clean and staff was awesome! My daughter enjoyed the waffle maker for the continental breakfast. Pool was a hit for the kids. It was a pleasurable stay. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!
I was traveling with my kool jamaican friend Dennie, he very particular about food and beds, I promised him that Best Western was pretty good but he was very skeptical as first. Upon arriving at the counter he was first impressed that they already had me on the computer so the speed of check in was quick. We hit the sack early after a long day of driving, the next morning he woke up praising how awesome the beds were with the extra pillows and super soft bedding, blankets etc,. then we went for breakfast he was blown away by the variety of warm cooked foods, he kept saying "as a Jamaican you know i like warm foods in the morning not just serials and muffins",.lol we drove from Vancouver to Halifax and he consider our stop in Grand Forks NB to be the absolute best bed and breakfast experience of the entire 25 days on the road. Awesome place, lovely kind hearted people
This is a great place very friendly and always polite and helpful great staff . They know me by name because I am there once a month and always have a great chat with them when I'm there ... highly recommend them to everyone looking in this area
Nice clean hotel, quiet room, great breakfast. Very friendly effecient staff. Right on Trans Canada highway and not very far to downtown Grand Falls. Nice bar with good munchies and had a rum special one night.
At the end of the summer my family took a trip to the Bay of Fundy from Ontario and we stayed here to break up the long drive. This was just a travel break for us but it turned out really great. They had no problem providing parking for our truck and the room was very nice. We stayed in a suite that had a door separating the main bedroom from the pull-out couch in the sitting area, which gave my wife and I a little TV time after our young children were in bed. Everything was very clean, the staff were very friendly, the pool was very nice, and the breakfast was exactly what we expected. We will stay here again if we travel to the area in the future.
We were lucky to be checked in by Melissa. She was so accommodating. She was all smiles, friendly, and full of information. We did a switcheroo of our rooms and she had no problems fixing it. When we asked if she would make reservations of us for dinner, she didn't have a problem with it. (You can tell that we had problems during our trip.) She had a great attitude. If I was her employer, I would keep her because she was all professional.
good rates, lovely staff, lounge ,bar on site if u would like a night cap ,& conveinent place to stay, just off the hwy at exit 79 ,bilingual service , tim hortons express just across the street if u drink that coffee
Very nice place, easy access off main highway. Only downfall was no restaurant attached. Had to order out or go out. It was perfect otherwise. Friendly staff and comfortable room.Very quiet area. We used the pool and hot tub and had the whole place to ourselves.
Anytime we are going to or returning from PEI we always stay here. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet, and staff are typically Maritime friendly. The complimentary breakfast is really quite good and, usually has baked beans( I know-a guy thing). Parking is right outside the front door.
Very clean and friendly. Employees remember who you are from previous stays. Very nice pool and fitness room. Close to highway with lots of parking. Not a lot of options for breakfast but not bad all together
The hotel is right off the highway and very close to "downtown". Check-in was smooth and the staff friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was included and it was the standard...(scrambled eggs, sausage...etc). There isn't a restaurant, but at the bar you can order "appies"...but as there is no kitchen...frozen & micro-heated. Having said that, it is Grand Falls...not Montreal. Overall...a very good stay!
Spent one night at this hotel on our way home from our road trip to the maritimes. Everything exceeded our expectations. Quick and courteous check in and out. Friendly efficient staff. Our room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean and quiet even though we were across from the elevator. The bed and bedding were comfortable. Nice toiletries in the spacious bathroom with lots of towels and wash cloths. Breakfast was included and it was nicely done with a large assortment of hot and cold items. There is lots of parking and a gas station across the road for gasing up if you need to. We will be making this hotel our go to stop from now on when we visit Canada's eastern provinces.
Nice hotel looks to be a recent build. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, a little weird for a Saturday night. The hot tub has the weakest jets, someone with COPD could blow harder through a straw. They need to check the motor or something, lying in a tepid pool with minimal bubbling isn't the best. For the price it could be better. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom standard but well appointed. With a little work they could make this a good three star hotel .
Excellent place to stay. I was made to feel as I was at home. Hotel staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Convenient location and a very good complimentary breakfast. Enjoyed the stay.
Front desk clerk was extremely nice. Room had room darkening curtains and comfy beds which provided a great nights sleep. Pool was small but perfect for an after dinner swim for our son. Breakfast was included in room price and was a full hot breakfast which was delicious. Coin laundry on site was clean and inexpensive Noticed they also allow pets which was nice to see. Would recommend and will be staying here next time we're in the area for sure
OMG I cannot say enough about the comfort of the bed at Best Western Plus. We all wanted to cozy in and stay for a month! Arrived on our way back from Halifax to Ontario so it is inconvenient to have to get back on the 102 and head back the way we came to get the exit that the hotel is on, but we will make sure we stay there next time. Staff was friendly Breakfast was great. Room was modern and clean. All with a fridge (a dying thing these days) and a microwave. A bit pricier - but well well worth it. Breakfast was great except for some reason the eggs were over salted. But the eggs were just like my Mom used to make fluffy and light - but wayyy to much salt. Sausage was salty as well. Again Full breakfast, Pool was wonderful, clean, if not damaged. The Whirlpool jets were not coming on full force, but it was relaxing and CLEAN none the less.
This is a superb hotel with all of the latest amenities. Super clean and comfortable beds. The included breakfast was about was expected. The allowable delivery of outside foods after the small kitchen closes for pub food is also a welcomed change. The closeness of gas station and Tim's for early morning traveller make this a really convinient location to stay on a long travel.
My family stayed one night for a stopover on our way from the Toronto area to Halifax. The room was clean and comfortable (other than the rather stiff pillows), the breakfast was good with lots of choice, and it is well located just off the Trans Canada. It is not noisy though. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our check in person gave us a good dinner recommendation. We used the pool, which was refreshing, and the hot tub, which jets didn't work well. The pool area also seemed a little dark to us. We would recommend this hotel as a nice stopover for a road trip such as ours.
We were on our way from Quebec to PEI, and this was a perfect mid-point. It looked great on the Booking.com website. It was better. If you want to stop anywhere around Grand Falls...stay here. Lot's of dining options from delivery to sit down. Stay here!
Great price, stay, and service from hotel and staff. Room and services were as advertised and more. location is convenient and extra service offered by staff was really appreciated along with other perks during the week for business travelers.
We stayed here last night. This hotel is in an ideal location right along the highway. There is ample parking. There is an Ultramar gas station right beside the hotel, in case you need to gas up. The young lady working the front desk was courteous and quick in getting us checked in. Our room was immaculate. Kudos to the cleaning staff. The pool is a little on the small side, especially when there are a lot of guests using it. So be forewarned. The hotel itself was very quiet during the evening, we didn't hear anyone in the hallway even though our room was across from the elevators. The breakfast was excellently prepared and the lady who works the eating area was very kind and helpful. I am very pleased that we will be staying there again on our return trip.
Not a reflection on the hotel, but the chain itself. In order to price match, you have to book with Best Western FIRST and then find a rate within 24 hours and submit a claim. The glitch is that the rate you find on a Tuesday for a weekend is cheaper than the Friday of that weekend. They will only honour your price if when THEY look they see what you saw and they have three days to take their view. So....I have proof of a price by Priceline and Travelocity for 172 and they will not honour it. With Hilton and Mariott, if you can prove it they give it. Also, these travel web sites have prices hotel chains view than what they advertise to the public. I have to say that I am quite upset on my first visit.
Half way home from a long road trip, we ended our day at The Best Western in Grand Sault. Lovely room with a big comfy bed, sofa, mini fridge and microwave. Super clean and quiet. Breakfast hot/cold included in our room fee, very good . Clean and well serviced. Good location close to highway, gas and restaurants.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Everything was exceptional. Room was super clean and offered everything you might need. Very comfortable bed. Housekeeping even cleaned our remote each morning! Great breakfast and coffee in the lobby were all included. The staff greet you with warm smiles in the lobby, in the elevator, or wherever they meet you. We enjoyed a great drink and some snacks in the bar the evening we arrived. We loved everything about the property. It will not disappoint you.
We stopped there twice going to the East coast w stayed there 3 nights and coming back home we stayed 1 night , i can't beleive how awesome the staff was , the Manager Chantal went out of her way to make our stay pleasant , i have to say our stay there was incredible, please do not loose Chantal and the rest of your staff, we stayed in many places on our vacation to the East Coast and Grand Falls was the best place ever, i would definetly recomment this place to anyone, and i would definetly stop there again , i loved it there, all because of your staff , so thank you Chantal and the girls for a memorable journey Tina and Vivianne North Bay , On
Our stay at Best Western Grand Falls is an annual visit en route from a Ottawa' to Nova Scotia via the ferry to a Digby. We are pleased that the standard of excellence we have come to expect has been maintained. All amenities were first class as always. The breakfast was most enjoyable. A stop over at Best Western Grand Falls is highly recommended.
We had a nice stay at the BW plus Grand hotel /suites, very friendly staff, nice decor, comfortable beds. Pool is very tiny in comparison of the size of the hotel and gets overcrowded very quickly, hot tub water wasnt very hot and jets were not working . Hot breakfast was not a good quality- we saw the attendant warming up the scrambled eggs in plastic bag in the microwave-which tells us that this was a frozen product. Ham was sitting over a hot water-steaming- moist but no flavour, boiled eggs were peeled and in a hot water- causing the egg white to absorb way too much water and was not very tasty. Small muffins were previously frozen- I had to throw mine out as it was soggy on the top and still freezing cold inside ! Quite disappointing as we otherwise enjoyed our stay at the hotel....their breakfast definitely can use some major improvement!
This was just a one night stop for us as we made our way back to Ontario. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect for our needs. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Five stars all the way! This well-cared for property shines with pride! Management and staff are pet friendly, sincerely welcoming and helpful. It was easy to get a restful night's sleep because the bed was truly comfortable. As a bonus, a terrific breakfast was also provided. Our experience was so good, we're planning on staying at a couple other Best Western Plus properties during this road trip.
We had just spent 10 days at an Airbnb with uncomfortable conditions (hot, hard bed and bad shower). We booked this hotel en route for a quick overnight stay. I'm not sure if my review was influenced by our past days, but we felt very comfy with great bed, air conditioner and nice shower pressure. Breakfast buffet style had eggs, beans, sausage, fruit, hot and cold cereal, and yogurt etc! Although they had their own coffees which were fine, they also had Tim Horton's coffee as well. The ongoing rate during high season was $189 a night which is way too pricey for a rural hotel. We did get a travel association discount and not sure whether I would have forked out the max price if I had not had the rate. Overall great comfy place with the best western quality you expect!
This is the place to stay, where do I start? The front desk staff is great and funny. The rooms are very clean and nice, the TV size is great. The hot tub was clean and very nice. The free breakfast was outstanding, definitely would stay here again.
Very clean and well kept hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only thing missing were cookies in the lobby. The complimentary brekafast had lots of variety. Loved the muffins. The beds were very comfortable.
We have stayed here 3 times in the last six weeks, about 11 nights in total and we have also stayed here many other times during 2016-17. I'll start with the staff, they are amazing, we can't thank Chantal enough for being so helpful, kind, and caring during our frequent stays here during the last 6 weeks, We visited their lounge one night, good service and to my surprise a well stocked bar and a nice area to have a beverage or two!. The lady who ran the morning breakfast area was also so pleasant, everyone made us feel so welcome! The rooms, they are very nice, the beds are very comfortable, some of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many 5 star hotels. The bathroom is fairly large with a nice size tub, which my wife liked. The included breakfast is very good, the food was tasty with a good selection. Across the street from the hotel is a gas station that now has a Tim Hortons, that's a big bonus. So if you are travelling to Grand Falls or just passing through and need a place to stay we certainly recommend this Best Western. The hotel is just off the Trans Canada Highway but without any highway noise. Finally, once again thanks to all the staff. The Bailey's from Newfoundland
We were supposed to stay one night but ended up staying two due to a bad storm. We didn't mind, greatbjotel with great staff especially Donna who worked all by herself the first night. She did the front desk, bar tending and serving food.
The Best Western Grand Sault is excellent. Caring knowledgeable staff who go way out of the way to accommodate and take care of you. If making a reservation I recommend contacting the hotel directly, as the hotel will serve you better on your reservations. The corporate website is a pain and not worth the effort.
Very disappointed in this hotel and went to best western plus it is supposed to have updated features and it's supposed be better than the best Western. This is not the case I had to turn every light on to get light hot tub do not work. There is no restaurant and tonight they have no bartender. There are no outside entrances in case you do have a pet a35 $ a night and $20 per pet which they don't even mention. Pet rooms are on the second floor and you can't get any extras with it like a fireplace or suite or a Jacuzzi for some reason there are none on the second floor so if you have a pet you can't get these extra items this hotel really does suck. Not sure which one was worse than when I was in Quebec which they forgot to turn the heat on for me. I didn't realize the front desk had to turn on my heat because on the heater and it said it was on the wall mount which I turned on, which never did work I had to go out to my truck in the middle of December and grab two of my own blankets but at least they had an outside entrance. So it made it much easier for my dogs to pee here I have to go down flights of stairs let my dogs out. However I will recommend the comfort inn $70 night no pet fee that's what it was for me I should've stayed there it was 38 minutes back and if I could've I would've but it's too slippery and dangerous to turn around now. And the worst thing about this hotel the woman charge my credit card right away when it's supposed to be done in the morning who does this and why are usually pay cash the next morning and give them my visa number MasterCard number and then I have the right to choose in the morning when I check out that's not the case at this hotel so if there was something I wanted to charge on my room I can't. Poor service.
We have stayed in this hotel several times. All visits have been excellent. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are excellent. The fireplace was well used with our overnight temperature of -25 degrees. We enjoyed the lounge after our 13 hour drive from Ontario. The fryer wasn't working for the pub food but the refreshments were delicious..
I try to only stay at Best Western Hotels when travelling, I like the cleanliness of the rooms and the amenities. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. I enjoy the points rewards as well and use them often. Thanks so much for another successful visit.
This hotel is Great I stay here just about every week for business. staff are always friendly. Chantal is amazing. Great little town to stay and hotel has a bar and swimming pool always enjoy staying here.
very nice and clean with great staff. the room was a very nice room the amenities were all there. staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable . Room was very clean.THere was lots of parking in a well lighted lot
Easy access from highway but need to go into town (approximately 4km) for dinner. Young lady at receptionist (Donna? ) was not only the reception but the bar keep and general fixer. Property was clean. Would stay again.
I stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling on business. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway. I checked in late in the evening so didn't get to explore much. Check-in was busy - one agent handling people and the phones that wouldn't stop ringing, but she was efficient and professional. The room was small, simple but great. It was cozy and clean. Breakfast in the morning was a complimentary buffet and the hostess was very sweet. The hotel is outside of downtown proper but only a quick 5 mins drive away, and it is directly across from a gas station and a quick jump back on the highway. Will stay again!
Great staff attitude,And skills, good service, great building, rooms French noise free rooms available, great internet, tv, couch makes bed, fair size fridge bigger than other hotels, microwave works well. Etc,,,great pool but lots of chlorine
I recommend this Hotel, I've been staying there when I'm in the area for business and I've always found it to be a very comfortable place to stay. Rooms are clean, quiet and well located along the highway. Close to Grand Falls where you have access to restaurants and some shopping. People are very friendly. The gas station nearby is very convenient as well.
We stayed overnight on our way from Montreal to Nova Scotia , I highly recommend this hotel . It is clean , spacious rooms , great continental breakfast included , right in the middle of the trip , 6 hours away from Montreal and 6 hours away from Nova Scotia , half way .
Stayed at the Best Western for a hockey tournament and we were very well received by all staff. Rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was very good! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Probably one of the best hotels that we have stayed at for a hockey tournament. Thanks Best Western!
Courtious staff, clean rooms, very nice hotel. We were here for a hockey tournament and the staff was really great and accommodating. They let us use a conference room for the parents who wanted to get together at night . Definatly recommend this hotel
My stay was very comfortable. I took advantage of the Fitness Centre before Dinner. My room was spacious and comfortable. I was able to conduct some business after dinner in the quiet of my room. I had a great nights sleep. Overall the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful,
Excellent choice for a hotel; highly recommend. Staff are courteous, professional and efficient. Have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. Very clean.Have never had any issues staying here. Always willing to help.
The staff was quick and easy to work with. They helps us on our request. Clean and comfortable room at a Great section of the city. Will stay here again in the future! Thanks for they great experience.
Clean and well maintained hotel with friendly staff and fast internet. Fast booking while I was on the road. Easy access off the highway and lots of parking. Breakfast room is disorganized and chaotic though.
Excellent hotel conveniently located near Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Comfortable, impeccably clean rooms, nice local themed decor, spacious breakfast, lounge area and very friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend this hotel for travellers.
Stayed one night. Room was clean, decor was nice room was a little dated. Staff were pleasant. The hotel is just off the highway so it is easy to find. Breakfast is included and is your standard free breakfast. Eggs, beans, sausages, waffle, cereal, and fruit.
We have stayed here numerous times over the last few years and have always enjoyed it. My only issue this time was that the beds were ridiculously soft, so much so that when you lay down, it feels like you are sleeping in a hammock because you sink down so much! I have back issues and sadly, this mattress did not help it! It has never been an issue before at this hotel so I would have to ask for a firmer or perhaps a newer mattress, if we were to stay there again. A bit of a disappointment!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and had everything that you would need and the service was great. Would stay there again .Breakfast was excellent too, lots of everything never ran out of nothing. We had a great time. We would stay there again :-)
We stopped with our cat and dog on the road between Montreal and Halifax and arrived very late. The staff were so helpful and friendly and gave a super late checkout as well as helping us unload all our stuff from the car. Wonderful experience. Clean, large room (we had a King Executive Room) and great night's rest. Recommended.
Great breakfast. Dog friendly but on second floor. Would have been better on first floor with our senior dogs. Room well appointed and clean. Quiet. Comfy beds. Good bathroom. Pool. With the 'plus' rating it would have been nice to have healthier food on site (soup, salad, wraps not just fried pub food). Friendly staff.
I contacted this hotel while driving, last minute booking Chantal made it very quick and simple to reserve a room, no messing around with info over the phone! Once I arrived she was equally helpful, got me checked in explained the services and looked up my rewards number all effortlessly and with a smile The room was perfect comfortable bed wifi worked perfect and a good breakfast in the morning Thanks ! I will stay here again on my way through
We stayed at this hotel and were extremely satisfied. The hotel was tastefully decorated from the cozy lobby to the comfortable rooms. The staff was professional and helpful. Would definitely stay again
Have stayed at this hotel multiple times for journeys from NS to Mtl, business & with family, and it is always excellent. Friendly staff, clean & quiet room, great free breakfast & wifi, kids love the pool.
Very pleased with the check in service at the registration counter. Staff was friendly, helpful and well informed about the area. The room was extremely clean. The bed provided a good night rest. I took advantage of the salt water pool and hot tub.
Beds and room were comfortable. Great check in and out. Staff were very nice and friendly. very good restaurant was recommended for dinner. Breakfast had fresh fruit and yogurt. Coffee to go was convenient. Easy access to hotel from highway.
The hotel was great and clean and perfect right off the highway. Based on the other reviews I read it was indeed the perfect stop over between Ottawa and Halifax. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay.
My husband and I have stayed at the Best Western in Grand Sault My husband and I have stayed in this hotel many times since it opened. We have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly helpful staff, and the overall quality of the customer service. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
My mom and I drove in from Ontario and after a 12 hour day in the day, we went straight to the hotel checked in quickly and got into the comfy beds to sleep. The staff were prepared and friendly in providing menus of local restaurants that we could get supper delivered from. And I was pleased when the front desk called to let me know that the delivery had arrived and that the driver was on their way to my room. Also our room had a blueray player and the front desk had an assortment of films we could borrow to watch as we rested and ate dinner.
We have learned over the years to book ahead if wanting to stay there, Very easy to get there and Pizza Boy makes the best pizza ever (delivered)! Since our first stay the staff has been very happy to help us. The bar is small but adequate with some fried food fare served.
Very nice hotel. Great location just off the highway. Best part was that they had laundry service for guests. Great idea!!!!! Only one complaint, was at check in front desk clerk took a phone call instead of helping us at the counter. She could of answered the phone and put them on hold, instead she left us standing waiting to be served. As someone who has worked in the hotel industry, this was not proper procedure.
Stopped here on our way to Maritimes from a Ontario. Had booked in advance. Hotel,is right off the highway but doesn't appear to be bothered by traffic noise. Rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. Everything worked. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Morning breakfast was good, hot and filling. Good variety of choices to suit needs. Price was also taken into consideration versus staying at the Best Western Plus in Edmundston which costs quite a bit more.
Clean, cheerful staff, my daughter liked the pool, everyone found something they liked at breakfast. But I do think that for the size of the town and in comparison to other places we stayed with a similar level of amenities, they overcharged. Nevertheless, we slept well and were easily on our way the next morning.
Very nice staff, clean rooms, and pleasant property overall. Have stayed there the past 6 years and have always come away pleased. Although not the cheapest hotel in the area, you get full value for what you are paying.
This property, built recently, is large and has a number of positives: flat screen TVs and fast wifi in all the rooms, for example, ample parking and a large indoor pool. On the negative side, it lacks a restaurant, has a small breakfast room that features mostly fast food in a cramped self-serve arrangement that it duplicates with a coffee bar in its non-descript lobby, and a single elevator to handle the many guests it accommodates. Although it is located just off the main highway, it is difficultt to find the correct approach without GPS. We would not stay there again.
The staff went out of their way to make us feel cared about. People actually stopped me in the corridor to ask how we had found things and whether our room was prepared to our satisfaction, which it certainly was.
We stayed here on our way to New Glasgow NS. The hotel was close to all amenities that we needed. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub was nice. Would definitely stay here again!!
I use this hotel any time I am in the area as well as the BW in Woodstock when I am in that region. I am very pleased with the facilities and the staff are always very accommodating. I can always count on a clean room, courteous service from a staff that will do whatever they can to help me out.
Other hotel should take notes, because they now how to make you feel welcome in a human way. I go in hotel 2 night per week for work. Best bed, breakfast and rooms are clean. Plus it is a nice town with good restaurants.
I stay regularly at the Best Western in Grand Falls and am always blown away by the professionalism of the staff. There are many choices in the area, but staying here is always the right choice. Chantal the manager is fantastic! Service matters and that's why I always choose to stay here.
We stayed one night on the way to Quebec city. The room was absolutely spacious and clean. Breakfast was reach, compares to other BW chain hotels. Location is very good, minutes from the falls. Overall a positive surprise.
Everything about the property is great - clean and well tended. Staff were courteous and friendly. Breakfast was as expected. Friday night of a long weekend so there was a big demand but still the price seemed a bit much. Wi-fi was weak, for close to $200 I expect a strong, consistent signal.
Your front desk Lady Stephanie/ and Danielle in Lounge were awesome ambassadors for your hotel, Friendly, efficient, Professional, Helpful. Your Breakfast Lady was very good as well. Found it a little prciey, but definitely one of the nicest Hotels we' stayed in on our Vacation. few minor maitenance issues, but very minor issues.
A favourite stop over on our annual trip from Ottawa to Yarmouth via Saint John and the ferry to Digby. As always a most enjoyable stay with courteous staff on registration and check out. Comfortable well appointed room with free WI-Fi. Breakfadt was excellent. Am not yet used to the new BW branding and red colours. I miss the blue and gold!
We have stayed at this hotel a few times when visiting friends and Family in Grand Falls. The hotel is new, very clean, the beds are great, rooms are clean, bathroom has lots of space. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. We are booked there again for 4 nights when we come back for Christmas
This is a great place for a stop over in Grand Falls!! The location is easy to find and right off the highway. The surrounding area is very pretty. When we checked in the staff were very friendly and professional. We decided to have a picnic dinner so we took our food and sat on the patio at the front of the hotel; it was very peaceful and relaxing. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. We misunderstood the time for breakfast and came down just as it was closing. The hostess welcomed us and told us to go right ahead she would stay. Despite the fact that she had already put things away offered to bring out anything we wanted. I'm sorry that I didn't get her name as she deserves to be recognized for her outstanding service. I will definitely stay there again!
We stopped here on our way to the east coast. The hotel was very well located. The staff friendly, courteous and very helpful. Very clean rooms and beds comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location off the highway, I have been staying at this location from the first year it opened. The rooms are clean and comfortable with access to high speed Internet. The equipment in the fitness center is modern and in good working order. The staff are helpful and friendly at all time. I have no problem in recommending this location to any one. whether work or play.
Excellent clean friendly hotel, midway from Ontario to the Maritimes. My new stopover. Room was big enough for four with luggage. Everything was clean, and the location was just off the highway, yet quiet.
we entered the hotel and greeted by wonderful staff , the hotel is in a great location to the highway , very clean , good selection for breakfast ,laundry service available, over all a great place to stay
There's not a ton of hotel choices in this area and this hotel is by far the best of the available options. We stopped here on our family vacation to PEI and it fit the bill as a comfortable stop for 1 night. It's right off the highway and perfect to get some rest for the next day's drive. The kids loved the pool and early morning breakfast. There's a ton of cold/hot options.
The breakfast facilities are entirely inadequate. The layout and functionality of the breakfast room is very poor. We were looking forward to a good breakfast, and it turned out we had to almost fight our way through an overcrowded room to get to the food and tables. Many food items were empty and the staff through no fault of there own could not keep up because of the inadequate facilities. If Breakfast is important do not go here.
I am currently at the hotel and have several comments to make, unfortunately most of them are negative. First of all, there are Orkin heavy duty mouse traps all over the place. Look down on the floor in hallways, particularly around the vending machines, and you will see them! :o Second of all, the rooms are loud. There is minimal insulation between the walls. I can hear the quiet family in the room next to mine just as though they are in my own room. Further to this, the hotel sits right next to the highway. Its lack of quality windows makes it sound like your window is open, allowing the noise of the traffic to come right in. Beds are not very comfortable either, unfortunately. I gave this place a 2-star as my stay is not yet over. I'm hoping that *maybe* the included breakfast will be ok. Won't stay again. Value is not worth the cost. Will stay in Edmundston at a (somewhat) nicer hotel next time. Lesson learned.
Good place to stay in This area of NB. I recommend this hotel. Staff is great and smily, alwayds helpfuull. there is a nice pool if you wish to swim and a nice gym , if you want to train yourself. Acccessibilty of teh Hotel is great and good restaurant are next by.
One of the units next door had an airconditioner that didn't work and therefore the noise kept us up all night. In the morning, look out for the housecleaning staff who keep banging on your door to see if you have left yet. For an 11am checkout, I think that they really expect you to be out and on your way by 9am, otherwise they wouldn't be banging on your door 3 times.
Hotel was easy to find, clean, and staff was very friendly! The in house bar was good, breakfast was good, and our room was clean and very adequate for our one night stay. Will definitely return when in the area!
Arrived early evening to he best western,..Check in was quick and friendly. room was great: quiet, good bed and clean. Pool was warm, and open long enough for us to get a swim in before lights out. Morning breakfast was plentiful and varied enough with good yogurt and fresh fruit available.
We were impressed with our room which was spotless. Not only that, our dog was welcome. The in-room coffee was eccellent; a full breakfast was included on the price of the room which was $179.00 Canadian for two queen-size comfy beds. I must say it is rare to find a room anywhere as clean as this one. Bravo to the staff.
Friendly staff who went well above call of duty for me. Being Celiac, the staff was very accommodating to my needs for gluten free items at breakfast. Clean and located close to the highway but yet very quiet. I will return there for future stay.
Great location, just off the Trans Canada Highway, exit is clearly marked. Had a pet friendly room as we were a family of four returning to Halifax with our new puppy. The room was on the second floor next to the stairwell, easy access to the outdoors. $20 extra for a pet. Room was clean, nice and very comfortable. Indoor pool open from 6am-10pm. The property is well maintained. Nice breakfast area to eat your complimentary breakfast, hot and cold items available. Conveniently located halfway between Montreal and Halifax. Have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and would not hesitate to stay at it again. Overall very good experience.
If you find yourself in the Grand Falls area, this is a great place to stay. All the amenities of the Best Western name and the friendliest staff you can ever hope to meet. The rooms are spacious and the views are very nice.
Conviently located, very clean, spacious, friendly staff, quiet. Our issue was with breakfast. A tour group stayed the same night we stayed and got to breakfast before we did - they cleaned it out. Everything hot was gone with the exception of make your own waffles. I understand that you can not control the flow but you know how many quests you have and should be prepared for that number. Never saw a breakfast attendant and when I asked at the front desk I was told that "we do the best can" and "we probably don't have time to cook more hot items". Changed the entire feel of the stay.
I don't think I have ever stayed at a Best Western "Plus" before but this is what plus means. It's an upscale Best Western. It's more like a mid-luxury hotel. This is a great place to stay. All of the bathroom amenities one would expect in an upper luxury hotel are there. Also, I have never seen the room pillows on sale in the lobby before. They must be proud of their bedding, as well they should be. This is a great place to stay in a really good town.
The hotel was nice and clean. our room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. had a nice indoor pool, workout room and pub. the breakfast was good, plenty to choose from, would stay here again, one thing is that white wine should be served cold.
Excellent hotel, very clean. The quality of service offered by the staff over exceeded my expectations. Great place to stay! I will choose this hotel again in the future. Mt only constructive comment would be that the fitness centre need additional equipment.
Hotel staff are great....got directions for great restaurant on Broadway street. From the Restaurant walked down to the falls... they are truly spectacular...and the Zip lines looked interesting Grand Falls is the birthplace of Ron Turcot
Very clean, quiet hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. A pleasure to see staff always smiling! Rooms were clean and comfortable and no sign of wear. Breakfast was as good as you would expect for this type. Overall excellent experience. I would certainly recommend this hotel if travelling in the Grand Falls area.
Had not planned our stops for return to Ontario from NS so used trip advisor reviews for a last minute decision to stop in Grand Falls. Not disappointed! Friendly staff. Upgraded to kitchenette which wasn't needed but appreciated. Pool decent. Hot tub jets a bit underwhelming but overall a very restful stop after a weary day of travelling in poor weather. Take the time to swing by the Gorge before leaving town!
this was our first time staying at a Best Western Plus hotel. We were very impressed how clean and luxurious the hotel looked. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and the breakfast offered a lot of choices. We definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
Nice place, Best Western is constant in Quality and rates. Has a Gym, Pool, Spa, Bar, Service is Good and staff is Nice. enjoyed my stay, I reccomand for sure. If you have a Stop for a night in Grand Falls area, this is the place! Thank you
Grand Falls is a nice little town, good restaurants, friendly residents. The Best Western is a great hotel, friendly staff, clean & quiet. Friendly helpful staff & a great breakfast. We try to make a stop at this hotel whenever we travel through N.B.
We are always pleased with the appearance and cleanliness of this hotel. We have been staying here ever since it first opened and have never been disappointed. With the addition of pub fare in the lounge we are even more pleased not to have to leave the premises to eat.
This is probably the best place to stay in Grand Falls NB. The staff were excellent, the rooms were very clean, and the included breakfast had a very good selection of hot and cold options. Access to the hotel was easy just off the TCH...
Stayed here 5 nights. I had a small suite. It was perfect for relaxing after a days work. I am quite fussy on cleanliness, nothing to report here the hotel and room was amazingly clean. Best part of my stay was the amazing staff. Chantal at front desk was a ray of sunshine. Breakfast bar was always well stocked and clean as well. Recommend this hotel 100%.
Best place in town to say if your just passing through. Wasn't to far from everything from what I remember and the parking was great for larger trucks. Service was great, Rooms I didn't mind and very clean. 7/10
The hotel is very clean inside and out and it is obvious that the staff take great pride in their work and their workplace. Love to stay at this hotel when I am in the area. The complimentary breakfast is filling and fresh.
Fantastic hotel for one night or twelve. Comfy, friendly staff and full breakfast in the morning. Beds are comfy. Everything you would expect from a best western. Nothing really to do around there but a good stay all the same.
We were driving home to NS from Ontario and had not decided where we would stop. We decided just as we were seeing signs for Grand Falls that it was time to stop. We pulled in and were really pleased with room, bed, cleanliness of all the facilities and the hot breakfast was good!
A welcome oasis. The hotel is well situated just off the highway for easy on easy off access. Staff is very personable and helpful. Rooms are always very clean and fresh. I have been staying there for 4 years in a row, multiple times per year and have never had any major problems.
Booked this hotel for a family visit to town for a gymnastics event. From the moment I called the hotel to make a reservation I knew we would have a great stay. Chantal was friendly and efficient in helping me select a room, and explained the rates and inclusions. She was also the friendly face at the desk to greet us when we arrived to check in. She is a service superstar, and your hotel is lucky to have her on the team! We found the room to be comfortable and clean, but a little tight, not a lot of extra space to move around, however, for the purpose we were there, and minimal time spent in the room, it was not an issue for us. I would like to note the housekeeping staff took the time to write a short & positive welcome message on the note pad in our room, a nice added touch! The breakfast area was well stocked and even with the large crowd, there seemed to be plenty of choice for all tastes, and the coffee was quite good compared to other places I've stayed. Very nice hotel, and though we do not visit Grand Falls often, when we do return it will certainly include a stay at this hotel
Body hair in shower area and toilet area and told staff at Che k out that I had to clean my own bathroom she said nothing !!!! And the breakfast eggs coming frozen out of a box to a steamer they we're disgusting unlike the BW Hotel I stayed in Calgary which was fantastic
Stayed for a quick night passing through. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean but the room was very tight. I believe Best Western offers larger rooms for an additional fee but I heard this afterwards. Definitely worth paying it if you aren't alone. The bed was comfortable and the included breakfast was ok. The hot coffee in the lobby was a bonus. Will stay again when passing by.
Overall very clean and friendly staff.Great to have a whirlpool and cozy Bar to relax in.thanks for accommodating early Breakfast request. quiet rooms made for comfy sleeping. Parking very spacious and well laid out.
We made a last minute decision based on road conditions to stop in Grand Falls on our way home. Better than Edmundston! This was our first visit but we will surely stay again when passing through. Service was excellent throughout our stay and fully bilingual. They suggested an excellent local restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was best we've had in similar hotels. In the evening they have a bar service. The pool and hut tub were very nice after dinner. Our well-appointed third floor room sparkled and had a beautiful view. The heating system was great too. We got a good price by reserving online. All-round, an excellent stay.
I Always choose a Best Western when possible, have very rarely been disappointed with anything, clean rooms, friendly staff and locations are great. The free breakfast in the morning always meets my expectations and I also enjoy the advanced check out service.
I stayed at this hotel in Nov. 2016 on a business trip. I was there for 2 nights. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable. I love the fact they have a small pool and hot tub for relaxation. The workout room is quite nice too. Breakfast was included and convenient (continental style with a decent variety). The parking is free. Wifi strenght was good, allowing me to stream Netflix without any issues. The staff was very, very friendly. The quality of this hotel made my stay enjoyable in Grand Falls. Thank you!
These are wonderful Hotel's to stay in. great beds, very clean and good breakfast and the best value around. No need to look any where else!! Travelling in the U.S. you would pay twice the amount for the same service.
This is a nice convenient fairly new motel with very easy access off the Trans Canada at Grand Falls and just the perfect overnight stop when travelling from Ottawa to Halifax or the Maritimes in general. The price was competitive if on the high side but was surprised at check-in to have an additional $20 tacked on for having a small pet. The hotel advertises as pet-friendly, and from previous stays with a dog, had not had the extra charge. I did mention the fact to the check-in clerk but nothing changed. The location has no restaurants immediately around but Grand Falls is not far away and there are a number of good choices. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast was more than adequate. Will definitely stay there again if I can be assured that no dog charge will apply.
We typically like to spend a night in the downtown areas we visit. This hotel is easy to find; it's right off the #1. These places can be noisy being right off the highway. This one isn't. It's quiet, clean and comfy. The staff is typical New Brunswick; friendly and cheerful. You'll enjoy your stay here.
Disclaimer: my 5* rating is, of course, based on comparison to other hotels in the same class I cannot tell you how pleased I was with what we received for the modest cost paid (well, these days) at this hotel. The service of the employees was excellent from check in to check out. Check in was quick and efficient, and we were given great tips about local sites and places nearby I could take my fussy children for a quick supper. Desk staff were very friendly. The room was a Queen Suite if memory serves, and I was very happy with both the cleanliness and the layout of the unit, perfect for myself and 3 children. The note from the housekeeper was a very nice touch. I was able to set up my children in the living area with things to watch on their devices using the (very fast) complimentary WiFi, while I was able to go into the bedroom, close the door, and have a much needed nap after driving for over 9 hours straight. We then headed out to collect some supper and returned to eat in room. Now rested and fed, my children couldn't wait to take advantage of the lovely indoor pool. While passing the desk to the pool, a staff member stopped us and asked if my 6 year old son had lost a hat. I hadn't even noticed, but he had indeed dropped a beloved “moose” hat in reception. So glad they noticed that it was his and stopped us to return it! I would have had a very sad little boy had it been left behind. After spending a couple of hours splashing and playing in the pool, we returned to our room for the night. My boys were very happy on the pull-out couch, and slept fantastically and said it was very comfortable. My daughter and I slept in the bedroom queen bed, and it was heavenly. A wonderful night's sleep after spending the previous night sitting up in a chair on the Newfoundland ferry! In the morning, we awoke early to take advantage of the complementary breakfast. It was quiet when we arrived, and we were quickly able to each fix a plate of food. While the selections were not numerous (indeed, I have had breakfast at other chains that had a wider selection), it was certainly adequate and what was served was piping hot when it should be, and very tasty. The selections included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage links, waffle maker, various cold cereals, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juices, coffee, etc. I wish I had gotten the name of the employee who handled the breakfast room. She was wonderful! It was the morning of Sunday, Oct 2nd if that helps. Not only was she completely on top of keeping the food selections filled and ready to go, but she took the time to banter with my children and help them with their plates when I had my hands full trying to help them all at once. She made suggestions to the kids, helped with the waffles, delivered cutlery to our table...fantastic! I can honestly say this is the first time I have happily left a tip for the breakfast staff...it was well deserved. Well rested, and with full tummy's, we hit the road for our final leg home. It wasn't until we arrived home that we realized that my son was missing the charging cord to his laptop. We retraced our steps, and realized the last time it had been plugged in was in our room at the hotel. A quick phone call was placed, and it was confirmed that the cord had indeed been found in our room and returned to the front desk. I was asked to leave my contact info with the front desk, and told they would contact me regarding options for having the cord returned. To make a long story short, in the business of getting back home, getting all the kids back to school and myself caught up at work, it slipped my mind for a week, and I realized I had neither heard back from the hotel nor followed up to provide payment for the shipping of the cord. I planned to contact the hotel when I returned home from work that evening, however when I checked the mail on the way home, I was both surprised and delighted to find a package which contained the missing laptop charger! I cannot begin to express how delighted we were to receive this so quickly, and with no hassle whatsoever! Again, I wish I had gotten the name of the person I had spoken to on the phone the evening of Oct 2nd when I called, as it was superb service.
Stayed here twice in the last few weeks. Love this spot. Easy access to TransCan Hwy. This place was very clean with a comfortable bed and cozy room. Free bkft. was awesome. Hot fresh eggs and bacon/sausage with all the usual cold bkft. items. Very very friendly staff. Chantal on the front desk was amazing. Wifi worked. Sat, tv with enough channels to keep you up to date on the days events/Blue Jay games. I found the whirlpool a little cool; but clean. Smaller sized swimming pool, but adequate and super clean. Room/bathroom was spotless !!!!!! Housekeeping staff is definitely on the ball. To the manager - staff was fabulous, very friendly Chantal is the Woman you want to keep at the front desk. Perfect person for that job !!!!!!! She is the first of many reasons why I will be returning next Summer. Thanks !!!
We only stayed one night as we were en route to Quebec. The hotel is standard Best Western and comes with all their amenities. This one has indoor pool and gym. Our room was a decent size and was comfortable and clean. Reception staff were friendly and gave advise on were to have dinner. There was a good variety for the self serve breakfast. We would stay here again if in the area.
We stayed on route to our family vacation. Really your typical Best Western set-up. It is very clean and staff were friendly. The view from the room was surprisingly nice. The pool was very small and when it got busy it was difficult to do much of anything, but this seems to be the norm for this style of Best Western. Nice stop over location.
Very nice well maintained hotel. Conveniently located right off the freeway. Room was well equipped and nicely decorated. Reliable Internet connection. Tasty complimentary full breakfast. Friendly and caring staff. I would definitely return to this hotel if in the area again.
This is a very nice hotel, the beds are comfy, the TV is large and the remotes are clean (that's a nice touch). The room we had was a tad small, but it had every thing we needed, it had a fridge and microwave, the fridge was larger than a usual room fridge, which is nice. There is coffee hot chocolate and tea in the foyer. I also really appreciated the DVD player in the room, so I could use my exercise videos before we left in the morning. Thanks guys. There is also a free breakfast. Good job Best Western.
A Brazilian couple travelling around from Toronto, so we stoped in many other hotels on our trip. This beste western is a good 3 stars with an amazing river view. Our room was small, simple but very comfortable to spend a night. In our way back, we decided to stay here once again ;)
are four reasons to stay in this Best Western. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. We visited the lounge and enjoyed the bartenders great sense of humour and down to earth manner. The chicken wings were the best my husband ever had and we ate lots of them. But back to the hotel review. The view from our room was comparable to any of the many places we've stayed, both domestically and internationally. The room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. In fact, once our room was done, a room checker visited to ensure our room was done to our satisfaction. I moved away from the Grand Falls a number of years ago and when I visited the hotels were nice but next visit this is where I'll be staying. Last but not least! The complimentary breakfast is excellent. It's a FULL breakfast, not a continental breakfast.
This hotel felt very news. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Convenient location at the highway, but very quiet. Not so great for pets though, as we were on the 2nd floor. I noticed no rooms had direct access to the outside.
This hotel is conveniently located halfway between Riviere-du-Loup and Fredericton. It is clean, neat and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and answer all questions with a smile. The bed and room amenities were good. I would stay here again.
Very sharp concept with a kind of plus value. Room very clean and nice design The mattresses were very comfortable Will go there on my next trip in NB around this location The breakfast was hot and various
very nice hotel to stay at. The pillows and bed were extremely comfortable. The hot tub could have been warmer and the jets a little stronger but overall a really great hotel to stay at and very easy access to the highway
Location - check. Cleanliness - check. Friendly staff - check. Breakfast - check. Overall really happy with the choice. We stayed overnight on our way to Halifax and really liked this place. Plus it is close to the Grand Falls which was a nice surprise for us. Definitely recommended. Views are really good too all round from the hotel.
When we got to the room we found a lovely note from the chamber maid.. Yes she does it for everyone but how nice is that! Rooms were spotless, bathroom was very clean and even the remote was in a sanitary bag. Pillows were nice and fluffy and our room was cleaned and towels were replaced between nights. Great motel and the breakfast bar was very very good with a wide variety of everything. We had fun making our own waffles which was a great change from the usual pancake dispensing machine we seem to get everywhere else!
We were checking in late at a busy time of the year. The room was nice and the staff polite and helpful. Hot breakfast and plenty of it with a good selection. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.
Arrived late but registration fast and easy because booked in advance. Breakfast area in morning was separate and well organized. Would definitely stay at this location again when passing through. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
This trip was a one night stop on the way to Halifax. Hotel seemed relatively new. Room was fine, service was good and the kids had fun in the pool! the hotel is close to the highway and from this location, it's easy to get to downtown restaurants, the waterfalls, etc.
We stayed overnight while travelling and we had a great stay. Our room was very clean and bed was quite comfortable. The staff at reception where very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning had lots of variety with hot food options as well. We will come back here for sure.
Everything is very good:location, comfort, breakfast, friendly bilingual staff. What we didn't like - swimming pool : bad ventilation, absolutely can't breath there. Open windows or doors outside would be very helpful.
We were on a long road trip, and this hotel was right where we needed it to be. It was easy to get to from the highway, easy to check in and out of, and was pleasant in all aspects. We were very tired, the night was hot and not very pleasant, but the hotel allowed us to quickly become comfortable and have our needs met.
I stayed in this hotel before with no issues. On this particular trip I checked in, and settled myself in my room with my laptop to work on a report for work. At 8:30pm the power went out so I went down to the front desk to see what was going on. The desk staff was belligerent and unable to explain to the guests what was going on, when it would be fixed etc. They offered no resolution i.e. flashlights, move the guests into the lounge etc. My options at that point were to hang out in the parking lot with the other lost guests or sit in a pitch black hotel room. I did not get the report completed and the power resumed much later when I was sleeping. In the morning I inquired if the guests would be receiving a discount to which I received an incredulous look from the front desk staff with a "I doubt it". I did not get what I paid for, despite the reasons and then was brushed out the door. That is customer service at it's finest.
Stopped over night during family road trip, probably the best place to stay overnight in the area...wouldn't stay here more than that. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. Nice pool and very basic fitness. Basic complimentary breakfast. When you access the hotel there is strong smell of chlorine from the pool, other than that nice lobby and friendly front desk. Used the laundry facilities, worked ok but had to use the dryer twice to dry everything properly.
Spend the night once again on our way to PEI. It is a bit expensive for the location but I guess it is a premium spot. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We did not make use of any of the faculties but saw some children really enjoying the pool. Checkout was quick and simple. Breakfast was ok. Was exactly what we needed
Don't stay anywhere else if travelling along the Transcanada Highway in northern New Brunswick. Excellent professional staff, very clean rooms, convenient location near Grand Falls. Lots of choice for breakfast and even lounge service in the evenings.
Reserved online thru Booking.com @ $156.00 including taxes but when we were presented with the bill they charged us $215.00! The breakfast was continental with most things gone 30 minutes before closing and what was available was awful. We ended up at Tim Horton's. Clean room but again ridiculously overpriced. Had I known we would be charged as much we would not have booked here and will not book here again as there are many hotels with more to offer for less money.
Right from the moment you walk in, you know a quality place when you see it. The front desk staff were helpful and quick. The room was very clean. Pillows were the most comfortable ones I'd slept on. Breakfast was great, check out was a breeze. Stay here you won't be disappointed.
I stayed overnight and was very well received by the staff who pointed out the best restaurant in town and also helped me retrieve a package I had left behind upon leaving. For a short syay this hotel is perfect and has all the amenities required.
The Best Western Grand Falls has great staff, service and hotel we will definitely come back on a future visit to the area. Grand Falls was also a nice town to explore and dinner was great at Le Grand Saut.
A great stop-over venue, the hotel was pleasant experience right from the welcoming, breakfast and checkout. Added unexpected bonus was the 24-hour self laundry service that was available. Clean and comfortable, great for families.
Clean spacey room, friendly staff, close to the city and the Trans canada hgwy. The breakfast was good, the pool was clean. The price was fair. Can I ask for more ? Trolley available to bring in all your luggage. This hotel has 2 floors and an elevator. Weather permitting, you can turn off the A/C and open the windows, Huge outdoor parking, no indoor garage. I was impressed to see the TV remote in a clean sealed envelope.
We made the stop over here on our way to PEI. It's clean but dated, beds were comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool. I didn't realize when I booked there was no restaurant which was a downside for us as we were very hungry on arrival. Very friendly staff!!
One night here returning from Maritimes. Convenient to highway, friendly staff, comfortable and clean. Despite power failure which was beyond hotel's control, we were happy with everything about this hotel. Close to downtown and the falls and gorge. Would stay here again.
On our way to Acadia stopped at this location for a good sleep.rooms comfortable clean, good size. Just off highway for easy access but went into town area for dinner. Breakfast was good, staff fine wifi good. Television usual choices. Good stop.
We stop for an overnight stay on the way to PEI. Hotel room is clean, has queen size bed. Very clean and the staff is very help full. will stay again on our next trip. Hot breakfast in the morning, so we don't have to drive around
Stayed here for a night on the way from PEI to Ontario. Rooms were a bit dated, but clean and quiet. Hot tub was nice, but pool was quite small and not really deep enough to do any swimming. Breakfast was great - waffle maker always a hit with the kids.
This was an easy to find hotel with very comfortable beds and bedding. The rooms were clean and welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and had a few choices. It was an easy car ride to a nice restaurant.
Stopped in for the night here en route to nova Scotia from Quebec city. Rooms were comfortable clean and accommodating. Nothing too special average on the go breakfast but it did the trick for the on the go businessman or weary traveler. Pool and hot tub both were clean and tidy. Had to ask for towels but they were given and area stocked right away. Not many options for food after 6pm.... few places in town (about 3 miles away) or pizza delivery. You will find a faint very pleasant aroma of fried chicken in the air....yes fried chicken..... this is due to the "MCCain" frozen french fry plant about 1 mile away. overall nice stop.
The hotel was safe, clean and comfortable with friendly, welcoming staff. A bit out of the way for picking up food after a long drive but otherwise the location was very easy to find and convenient to the highway. The breakfast buffet was delightfully presided over by Eveline. Cheerfully replenished and tidied when needed, it was another positive experience at BW.
We arrived at the hotel at midnight, and the man working the desk was friendly and understanding of our tardiness. He gave us the wireless, the hours for breakfast, and answered our questions concerning driving in Canada (it was our first experience North of the border). All six of us slept very soundly and were up in time to enjoy the Keurig in our rooms and the full breakfast spread downstairs. The morning desk clerk helped us figure out a plan to exchange money and drive into Quebec. Overall our stay was comfortable, clean, and friendly. If we ever found ourselves driving through New Brunswick again, we would return.
Awesome hotel, ultra clean and modern, beautiful room, great staff and location! Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Not sure how they pulled off the great weather too! We always marvel at the scenic vistas offered when we travel to this area.
Great hotel. Booked through Agoda. They booked a room and chraged me but the hotel was full. Luckily there was a cancellation just as we were leaving. The girl from the counter stopped us before we drove away. Thankfully or we would have been asking for a refund for a booking that we didnt use. The girl at the BW counter says they see many overbookings with Agoda. Watch out!!
We stayed two nights on separate occasions, on our way to and from NL on vacation. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly and the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've personally had in a Hotel. We had 4 people including my wife and two daughters and all of us agree this was the best place of the 5 hotels we stayed at during this trip. I will definitely stay there again.
I love this hotel. It is less than 10 years old I think but it still seems brand new. Staff are amazing. Great breakfast and it's nice that it has a bar in the evening. A great hotel for people stopping over while travelling or like me for work. Everything is excellent! Very convenient right off the highway. Only a couple kilometers drive to restaurants. A local pizza place delivers for free. Ask at the front desk.
I only stayed at this hotel for one night because we were on a business excursion to visit several different sites along the Maine/New Brunswick border. Had I known we would be staying in this wonderful location, I would have lobbied to stay an extra day or two to see more of Grand-Sault and enjoy the pool, hot tub, and fitness center offered here.
Always friendly staff at this locationand comfy clean rooms! they have renovated since the last time I was here and it feels like a brand new hotel. the hotels was packed so I am guessing that many others liked it as well.
Quick and easy check in with upbeat and cheery staff! Room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Bed was very good...as we're all other furnishings . Location is quick and easy from highway. Breakfast room and offerings were also well presented . Staff obviously cares! Would certainly stay again and recommend..
What wasn't to love about this hotel. The great view above this little city. Nice rooms with comfy beds, friendly service from staff and wait staff at breakfast. Pretty much appeared to be a new hotel, beginning to think Best Western Plus is just as good a chain as Hampton Inn for a heck of a lot less money.
My husband, 3 year old son, and I stayed here one night while relocating from New Brunswick to Alberta. Grand Falls was an unexpected stop due to vehicle trouble. Given the stress we were under, this hotel was a nice respite. We stayed in a standard two queen bed room which was extremely clean and was modern, quiet, and comfortable (although not overly large or fancy). There was a flat screen TV and microwave. The free wi-fi worked well and we were able to watch Netflix, which was very helpful in keeping our son entertained. We enjoyed the pool although we found it a bit cold. My favourite part of the experience was the breakfast. It was very good, with hot eggs, sausage, and a waffle machine. The staff were very friendly and my son particulary enjoyed flirting with the lady overseeing the breakfast room. The gentleman at the front desk was also very helpful, as I originally forgot to request the room discount I was entitled to and he changed it without complaint or question. We would definitely stay again if in the area. One complaint would be is that there is no restaurant in the hotel and nothing really within walking distance (although there is a Quiznos in the gas station across the street). The hotel does operate a lounge where you can get an alcoholic beverage, but it is a bit strange as it is in the breakfast room, only open from 5-10, and does not serve food.
This Best Western was one of the best I've stayed in. It was VERY clean and comfortable. The room had all the amenities that I wanted including a small refrigerator and microwave. If I was in the area again for any reason, I would definitely stay there. The service was also exceptional as was the selection of breakfast items. I really can not find anything that I did not like.
We arrived quite late and had a special request and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were very clean and had excellent amenities. The 'continental' breakfast has several hot items to choose from and an amazing variety. The server was constantly cleaning and replenishing and was very helpful with one of our party's gluten free diet needs. I highly recommend this hotel.
On our way to Ontario, we stopped for the night at the Best Western Plus Grand-Sault Hotel & Suites . The staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and we were very pleased with the room. We especially were impressed with the breakfast which as included with the room. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
This is the second time that I've stayed at this hotel, and I have to say the experience was again very positive. The hotel is clean and very well kept. The housekeeping staff always have a smile on their face, and the rooms are immaculate. There was even a friendly little note waiting for us when we first checked in, welcoming us to the hotel. The front desk staff are courteous, friendly and very helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome - a smile and hello each time we walked in. There is a nice breakfast available each morning, included in the cost of the room. They even now have a few gluten free options, which in that part of the province, is not always easy to find. The fitness room is clean and well kept, with a variety of cardio equipment and free weights available. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would happily stay there again when in the area.
Nice place overall, easy access to highway, good half way point when travelling to east coast, offers some extras at the lounge/bar during the week. Friendly helpful staff, pool and fitness area's are clean and fresh
There is not a better place to stay if you in the Grand Falls area The staff and management are unbelievably friendly and courteous. This group of people understand the real meaning of customer service.
We always choose the Best Western Grand Falls as our stopover between Toronto and Antigonish, NS as it is clean, quiet and has a good breakfast. Located just off the Trans Canada highway, it is a perfect hotel to rest up after a long day of driving. Definitely make sure you visit the Falls and in the summer, take the pontoon boat ride to the gorge - it's awesome!
We stayed here for two nights and found the rooms to be comfortable and quiet. Service was nice and friendly. Rooms were clean. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and had bacon, ham, sausages, waffles, toast, cereal, eggs, etc. They even had gluten-free bread and a separate toaster for it. The pool and hot tub were nice, but I think the hot tub was low on water and not that warm. The pool is only 4 ft. deep at its deepest point, which is perfect for kids.
I always try to stay at a Best Western when I travel, very clean and the staff is always friendly and appreciate you staying with them. Great continental breakfast and the amenities are awesome. Also I enjoy the rewards program for free night stays after so many visits and the hotels are usually placed in strategic places for easy commutes to restaurants and services.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and even gave us a free cot for my daughter. (other places charge by the night for a cot). We stayed in a room with double bed and a pull-out sofa. The room was clean and bright. We arrived without any reservations and the lady at the front desk made an effort to find a room for us even though there was some event and most of the rooms were filled. The staff seem to all be bilingual but I am not surprised since Grand Falls is the most bilingual town in Canada. My wife and kids found the breakfast delicious. I just wish we would have been able to spend more time in Grand Falls on our way to Toronto from Nova Scotia. We did however come back to Grand Falls on the way back and I wish we had had time to revisit this Best Western. We made sure to sign up for the Best Western Rewards program after our stay at this Best Western. Maybe next time we will be able to stay longer in a bigger room.
Hotel was clean, quiet and staff very efficient at front desk. Nothing fancy about the hotel, but had a good sleep in a clean, quiet room. Parking lot is well lit and spacious, nice to park by the front door! Breakfast was actually very good. The person in the kitchen area was very friendly and ensured everything was hot and fresh. Will stay again next time I am here on business.
Visited Grand Falls and stayed at the Best Western. It was great as usual. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The rooms had small refrigerators and microwave ovens which came in handy. The hotel is located along the Trans Canada highway and is within minutes of restaurants and shopping in the Town of Grand Falls. I really enjoy staying here!!!
We chose this hotel as a good stopping point on a two day drive from Halifax to Toronto just after Christmas. Alexa at check in was friendly and efficient and very proactive in promoting Best Western's frequent traveler programme. The room was very clean and spacious enough for two persons with luggage. The bathroom contained all the expected amenities including very large fluffy bath towels. The heat was not blasting which left the room cool enough for a very restful sleep. The Keurig coffee maker was very much appreciated. One little thing: real drinking glasses instead of plastic ones would have been nice. The inclusive breakfast buffet was very ample: coffee/tea, juices, milk, cereal, toast, baked goods, baked beans, sausages and scrambled eggs. Quite a surprise since these "buffets" are often just coffee and muffins in the lobby. There is no restaurant on site and we did not think there would be a lot of options in Grand Falls on Boxing Day, but Alexa gave us the brochures of three pizzarias with delivery. We chose Pizza Boy and ordered a pizza with the works which was one of the best we have ever eaten, and was even delivered with complimentary garlic fingers and dip. Good choice after a long day on the road. Highly recommended!
This was a nice and clean hotel, with very friendly staff. A great breakfast with many options is offered, to start the day off well, like most Best Western hotels. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area, it has all you need.
I absolutely loved the hotel! It was super duper clean, the staff was beyond friendly and very helpful :) Would definitely stay again when passing through here! The pool was really nice! The breakfast was yummy! Everything about my stay was really good. I have nothing to complain about
As always It was a great stay at the Best Western. I often travel for Business and I will always stay at the Best Western chain. You get a great building a great room and friendly staff for a great price. I recommend this hotels to others. The breakfast is the only thing they could improve on
Best Western Plus was new for me, I am the right type of customer for that kind of hotel. A little conflict about our dogs, but I understand why. Well equiped and well located Fonctionnal for business trip. The owner invest money year after years, so they build value for Best Western
Motel is well kept with friendly staff. Rooms tastefully decorated spacious. Everything is clean and smells sweeice fire place in king suite. Nice linens, towels. Nothing worn, shabby or dated. Convenient to find. List od secure parking. Great value.
This is our second time staying at this very clean and comfortable hotel and it won't be our last!!! This is by far, the best hotel that we have stayed at in a very long time. The rooms are very large, even with two queen beds and they even have two chairs which seems to be a very rare occurrence in hotels! The bathroom is excellent with a huge vanity! The breakfast is quite good despite it being a chain hotel and the hotel staff are very friendly. Thank you for another wonderful stay...we will be back!!
The staff was very Friendly and helpful. We liked the breakfast and thought it offered good value. There is a little bar area at night which is nice after a long day. The hotel seemed well run and was super clean. The rooms were modern and had a fridge. Convenient location for getting off the highway.
The hotel is fairly new and in good shape, rooms are large and clean and the bathroom is the same.Breakfast was good, typical hotel breakfast. My only complaint was the price was to high, but as a previous reviewer said ,you get what you pay for! '
On a recent 8 night road trip, & various motels booked. best western proved the best for your money. Other, tad cheaper, promised things in their ads that weren't available. Best Western had it all. Their breakfast was tops in starting out another day of travel. Rooms, clean, modern, everything worked, & staff extra friendly. You pay less, you get less. I'm convinced Best western is the way to go.
Good location just off highway,- easy to find. Breakfast was good but would have like to see some mixed fruit.- cut up melons, pineapple, etc.. Room was up to expectations.Did not use pool, business centre or lounge so I can not comment on these.
