Excellent hospitality. Would like to mention some name: Mr. Nabir and Mr. Lutfar. Food was good specially breakfast with lot of options available. Rooms are fine and well maintained. I would like to recommend to my friends and colleagues. Keep it up.

This hotel is without doubt,the noisiest I have ever stayed in. Despite complaining after the 1st night,NOTHING WAS DONE. All I received was a comment that they would TRY to lessen my unpleasant experience. I was told that my wife & myself were in a "QUIET ROOM"(1021),but if anything the noise from the on-site night club only increased. We had to start wearing ear plugs to mitigate the sound of this "Entertainment". I was told that they had NO vacant rooms we could be moved to during our stay. This is a most unpleasant experience for me at age 71. Unless you are unfortunate enough to be deaf,DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.. I have had 3 nights of broken sleep at this establishment. The location is a bit far out of town & and is a 15 minute walk to the nearest Metro Station.

It's nice to stay in this hotel with lovely location and I feels so comfortable with all facilities it's actually a happening place to enjoy and feel relax. Staff was so good in reception 2 men varun and Rehman and food section sirz. Parking have ample space even outside too I tried shisha also with reasonable price

Unfortunately, the performance of reception staff fell far below from professionalism and customer care expected. Upon my arrival at approximately 7:30 AM, I fully acknowledged that it was early for check-in and was prepared to be patient until a room became available. However, I was disheartened to learn that despite my willingness to wait, I was informed by one of staff members that there were no rooms available, while simultaneously witnessing new guests being offered rooms of the same category. After 30 minute, I was informed that a room could be provided immediately if I paid an additional fee of 100 QAR, otherwise I can wait until 9:00 AM. Opting for the latter, I left the premises to take a stroll along the corniche. Upon my return at 10:00 AM, two of staff debated about room allocation as per smoking policy and finally gave me a smoking one against my clear request in the reservation! Furthermore, the staff appeared so unfriendly and did not show any sign of active listening, eye contact or even respect during our conversation – unacceptable attitude. No information about reception or room service numbers anywhere, by the way! So you need to figure out yourself how to reach out!

The hotel ambience and the lobby is good The reception staff especially Mr. Varun, Mr. Rehman welcomed us in a good way where we felt that we are at home. The check in process was ease and the room interiors are very good and the comfort level is good. We recommend this hotels to others.

Since the entrance everything was very smooth and professional. The Indian lady in reception was very helpful and kind she helped us with all the information that we needed.Service was great as we got the room early and also upgrade to spacious rooms. Overall the stay was amazing because of the amazing staff and service.

All the amenities are good here. I enjoyed alot with my family. Staff is very cooperative . Restaurant and Bar are also available in this hotel. Food is up to the mark . Stayed here for 3 nights as a stopover. Generally we will pick mid range hotel as we would be out sight seeing so only we room for a base. Unfortunately it was baking hot when we went 42 feels like 49 so we had to pick what we did and spent more time than usual in hotel. Reception , restaurant and clean and smart. All staff are very friendly and helpful, thanks to the night security guy who advised us on a place to walk early one morning, just so we could stretch our legs. Rooms are big and clean with seating area. We had a few issues with tv and the remote but staff were quickly able to help. The main downsides for us were 1. We were at front of hotel and from about 1-3am the traffic outside is awful with numerous taxis beeping their horns and roads chockablock. I believe it's due to the club on top floor. In the end we slept with ear plugs which was much better but be warned. The second issue was the swimming pool area, it's really very unappealing, cold water and not very deep with no loungers on anything. They would actually be better off, not advertising this so you know what you are getting. Normally it wouldn't matter but it was too hot to go to the beach even. We did end up using the Irish bar at the top on all days, staff were very friendly, Jeff particularly a lovely host. It was a bit off putting at first when you walk up during the day to meet an enormous door person outside, but I understand why there and they were very polite and friendly to us after first visit. Food there was very good and there is a lovely view over Doha from one window. It is very male dominated, sports Barry ish with a lot of men passing through from oil and gas industry and smoky, but still friendly .we did try to go out elsewhere to eat first night but didn't have passports with us and they served alcohol we were turned away. Metro system was great, very cheap about 1.50 for day pass which included metro, tram and bus . We used bus to get back to hotel after going one stop further, it basically winds all the way around the back streets and stops by hotel. Great value as was about , a taxi to souk metro was 7 qr which was less tha £2 if not. Did a four Doha trip with discover Qatar , which was worth it due to heat as on and off air con bus with lots of cold water provided. The souk was interesting although I was not keen on the falcons or camels, although accept it is part of their culture. I prefer to see animals in the wild not tethered up by their front legs. We also caught metro out to shopping mall at end of orange line, which is worth a visit purely for the scale of it, clouds on ceiling, ice ring and small funfair inside and waterways gondolas running through it. We probably wouldn't have gone normally as a mall is a mall, but it was worth a look and cool. Doha passport screening on arrival was a bit of a nightmare, just very slow and nothing appeared to be happening although a lot of people walking about looking important, but we did get through eventually. You are fingerprinted and photographed on arrival. All is all Doha is incredibly safe and friendly, every local we spoke to went the extra mile and we're welcoming. I even saw ladies leaving their handbags on tables unattended inthe malls whilegoing to the counter to pick up their orders, and they were there five mins later . That would not happen in uk. Wouldn't go back to Doha, but if you do, check it's not open that really hot period before the really hot bit before the cruise ships start coming.

I really enjoyed my solo staycation at this hotel. Room is big and clean, bed was comfy, and at night you can enjoy the party at Krossroads at the top floor of the hotel. They do serve tasty food as amazing drinks. Band is the best and Dj is superb. Thank you.

Nice hotel to visit, they have amazing venue at the top floor where ladies are safe to come and well treated. Amazing offers you shouldn't missed and great entertainment. Highly recommended. If you stay in this hotel visit the crossroads and you will never regret.

Room was good and spacious I got upgrade to suite the breakfast was good and unique the service was excellent and rate was reasonable and I stayed for 10 nights which was comfortable stay the bars also was great place to spend some time.Specially Front desk was very helpful for the entire stay.

The hotel was ok but Doha itself I would give a miss to. I do not like being searched every single time I am entering my hotel for alcohol that I might be smuggling in. The hotel room itself was large and the staff was nice.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. The staff was amazing,so this was a big plus. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway.They also have bars you can go to hang out. Will definitely come back with my friend next time.

From the day my family and I checked in until we checked out,they took care of us especially with everything we needed. Nice hotel I stayed there again for couple of nights and I enjoyed they allow me to check in early without any extra charge Thanks to the reception I really appreciate that and the room was so big the hk very polite the hotel beer by the corniche I enjoyed walking by the sea and souq waqif and the new museum is very good

Tonight we had dinining in Koronfol Restaurant for the seafood night. It was amazing. The most delicious food we have ever tasted in Doha. Special thanks to the Supervisor Mr. Siraj, lovely waitress Ms Anju and of course all the best for the master chef Mr Tuji! You are awsome thanks a lot indeed.. Definitely will come again.

It's my first visit at the hotel just to try it out and I really like it, I enjoyed my stay,Front office staff are very nice friendly always smiling. They upgrade me to suite.the suit is huge, I like their set up, all the amenities available in the room . There was smart tv with high speed internet connection.the hotel have a lot of restaurants to dine and clubs to enjoy the evening as well. They have pool and buffet restaurant as well. The situation of the hotel is reasonably close to main attractions & central shopping, although taxis were needed, but they were readily available from front of hotel. The room was spacious & clean although furnishings were dated & tiles in shower when wet were very slippery. All the staff were courteous & helpful especially Sanju in breakfast restaurant. The reakfast buffet was varied, fresh & excellent value.

The atmosphere is not for 18 and below as you can notice some busy women at work downstairs. But the Bed comfort can not be beat, and the place is clean I enjoyed the lovely view of cornice from my room

TV wasn't working, had to call for service. Next shower wasn't working, had to call for service. On Friday night due to the club on top floor, to use the elevator have to wait for more than 40 minutes.

The hotel is very nice, it's not so big but with a lot of happenings inside. They have this venue on the top floor Krossroads Club, a must visit place in the hotel, if you're looking for some nice evening with friends this hotel and venue is recommended. Rooms are huge and very accessible as well. A must visit hotel.

I stayed in this hotel as I'm having issues with my transportation back home, my stay was amazing they have huge room and very accessible to the places around like souq waqif. They have amazing outlet at the Top Floor that serves drinks and food. A must visit outlet in the hotel. Will definitely come back

Rooms was dirty with dust literally everywhere, view was the wall of the building next door, widows locked, towels had stains, AC was very clod even if I increased the temperature or even changed the mode to Fan, Music noise from the 5 clubs/bars spread all over the hotel was unbelievably bad, price was waaaay over exaggerated.

Without a doubt, the most disgusting bathroom I've ever had the displeasure of using. Tons of mold and mildew. There was intense noise until maybe 3am each night I was there. Getting up and down the elevator was very problematic. The last two were due to the bars/clubs in the hotel. I'm not sure why the bathroom was soooo gross. That said, the room service employees were terrific.

The most fru,astrating week i have had in this hotel , front desk was very un professional when I ask the superior give me your name he refused and asina bar service is very bad, cleaning takes for ever to be done after many calls, food delivery dropped after 30 mins being delivered to another table. I dont wish to book and come again in this hotel as i never felt frustrated as i did during this visit and Nikita the bar attachment was very rude to me and said that next time order another lady to serve you and force me to o pay and leave even am not finished my drink and am still waiting for duty manager to respond as per reception he is not picking up the phone after 20 minutes hamadi came MOD all I can say that worst experience and will not recommend to any of friend to come here even hamadi MOD did not took action when I complained about the staff

My stay was really awesome. The hotel is not that big but their rooms are huge and clean, location wise is perfect as it's walking distance to souq waqif. They have bars and restaurant in the hotel as well. Krossroads at the roof top is a must visit if you're in the hotel, service staffs are amazing and food and drinks are of reasonable price.

Stayed at the hotel to spend weekend with my friends and it's really worth it. The room is huge with enough space for me and my friends to enjoy. The bar at the roof top is worth a visit. They have nice band and dj. They have good promotions for beers and offers for the ladies as well. Highly recommendable.

Staff is only taking care of white people who are barely having a beer. We were spending money on food, on drinks still the attention level from the staff was zero. Everytime I had to go and collect my drinks even after ordering them. Staff has zero menu knowledge. I ordered negroni 2 times still no body cared for it, lastly I had to ask the bartender for the drink. I asked for a leffe blonde and the server said they don't have later on I checked with bartender and they had it. All the staff was ignorant including the manager. I asked for a birthday cake which came without candles. I am quit regular to this place but for sure I am not gonna suggest this place to anyone anymore. Try to be more professional rather than being racist.

Hotel was pleasant staff are smiling and helpful assisting me until the room and helping me for my luggages. Additional amenities was available. Food was good and fresh location is very accessible and convenient. Front office manager giving me a late check out as my flight was delay its very helpful. I stayed for a couple of days when i check in ,receptionist was so friendly they help alot they give me for free room upgrade also. Room was huge and clean. They have 24hours room service as i check in late and need to order it was great. Breakfast buffet was good alot of choices friendly staff. Visited friends in tunnel bar, Positive note music are very good food and services are very nice, the worst in the place is the security team they are dealing with guests who spending over 2000 qr in hour like they are dealing with animals, disrespectful, aggressive, let you feel like you are criminal, they create the problem by themselves, disaster, when I explained what happened to a friend they said they experienced the same, I think the management need to look to professional security company who can deal with guest in Hospitalty.

The hotel is nice with bright lobby, and most important a pleasant staff. Mr. Fayaz at the froint desk was helpful and answered my questions in a friendly patient way. Having a shuttle to and from the airport and better welcome treat would have made the stay even better

I booked a room at the hotel to celebrate my friend birthday. We were surprised as the room was really big, we have enough space to hangout and spend time with friend. We had brunch at their restaurant and the food was really delicious despite of the cow price they are feeing. They have pool spa and other facilities as well. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I recently stayed here and had no issues with the room - slightly outdated but room was really spacious. The downside to the room was the noise from the outside and hotel landing, phones constantly ringing outside the room and the elevators are really loud and annoying when you are trying to sleep. Rooms have perfectly working AC and provided with tea and bottled water.

it was a good stay there at the hotel they have a large lobby good one and big room also the furniture litter old but it's clean there is a lot of constriction around the hotel and it's little difficult to reach the hotel easily but this is in most places in doha for now over all it was a nice stay

Bar working every day until 3am with to loud music and many outside visitors , food is poor, air condition not working good, crew doing they best but they can not help this hotel to be normal. rooms are ready for overhauling 5 years before.

Everyday people come to visit the pub / bar sometimes the dont wear mask, no social distancing, no queue for the elevator and the just bargain to go inside the lift. Its terrible especially during this pandemic times. You'll find the staffs are not friendly over the phone. No teamwork among the staffs between department (i.e. reception, restaurant, room service, etc.).

Have been a resident for more than a year. The offer for a long term stay is good value for money if you consider the spacey suite, the decent housekeeping service and free breakfast and laundry which is provided within the package. Plus, it's location it is very convenient. However, in my opinion there is room for improvement regarding the amenities in the hotel. Specifically the gym could be maintained better and being equipped with more and new equipments and it's operation should be available 24/7. Regarding the access to the basement parking it could be more easy by installing prior the gate a device where you can swipe your room key and the barrier opens automatically instead of waiting for the security to open manually. Another unfortunate situation is the construction activity around the hotel area which makes the access to the hotel quite difficult sometimes due to the traffic diversions and load during busy hrs. The available bars at the hotel surely are an extra reason to enjoy your stay. Finally I would like to highlight the consistent effort from more of the hotel staff to ensure a pleasant stay especially I would like to mention the efficient and friendly services of Mr Sanjay (Duty IT Manager) who he is always available to support and solve any related to IT issues.

Its was nice to stay in Best Bestern hotel with family. it was shot stay but room was clean and hygiene in this covid period, thanks to Mr.Barun hw booked good room for me,my wife was too happy with front view room. next time i bring my children for holiday.

I used to stay in bestwestern hotel Plus. At the reception all are very friendly and accomudating specially Fasmin, Rahaman, and the nepali lady as well the other guy in reception think its a bangali all them are very smart and always have smilling face. Housekeeping also are very quick to give and served your request. As well in room service. All the gueard are very respectful. I highyly recomend best western hotel plus.

I stayed here for 6nights before and it's a nice hotel Its near Cornish and old souq the hotel it self Is clean with big size of rooms the staff are nice and respectful they have indoor swimming pool it's small but it's fine for and also have a small gym and its also ok you can manage to find some thing to eat and drink nice to enjoy the weekend again

I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. The housekeeping and reception staff was very unhelpful and late to respond. They were very stringent when it came to providing me with basic amenities. The bathrooms had stains and lacked basic toiletries like toilet papers. At the end, a member of the housekeeping staff called me and texted me on WhatsApp a couple of days after my checkout. I do not recollect sharing my phone number with anyone there, nor giving anyone permission to do so. This is borderline harassment. The management should look into this highly inappropriate behavior shown by the staff members. It was especially scary since I had been staying there alone.

When i want to drink tea Water heater was not working.I called front office and informed. maintenance guy came and checked he said water heater was not working. I asked him replace he said mid night we dont have housekeeping team to replace water heater. And also when i want water i called room service. They said called front office they will give complementary water for me. When i called front office they said i have to buy water in room service. By the way i dont have any solution that time because i was thoursthy. So i buy water in roomservice. I asked room service waiter and he said aftrr mid night we dont have housekeeping thats why they didnt give me water. Hotel service was out of 10 zero score front office, No housekeeping, i will not visit this hotel again. First and last visit. Zero all

Hi BW team, Actually i was very much happy to book quarantine in BW, The room and food was awesome, but the service was very bad, I know, this is pandemic time and Ramadan as well people will go for prayer and iftar. But i was expecting a simple service only... They didnt gave that simple service also in a good manner... The front office & room service dept, way of answering the phone is very bad, even though they are not picked up my call also and before finish my conversation they cut off my call. Dear public, Please don't book BW hotel, if you need any assistance from the room they will help you but they will not give a proper response and they will give answer by one word for under quarantine guest, but food menu and the room was awesome Thank you

Went to try the bar in this hotel... But so sad to say the security who welcome us dont give a very welcome manner... I hope the management can do something about this as the most important to a hotel is the welcome experience.. Note: I dont complain just check so others guest will not experience what i experience thank you

Sad and terrible are the only words I have for this hotel. I had to request for change of towels even. For stirring hot tea/coffee, they just give plastic spoons...hello!! Terrible! Definitely avoidable.

Nice hotel to stay with friends. Staff too friendly like Varun,Fayaz and Nasafy . All the Bars are superb.. Room service is so Quick. Rooms quite big neat and clean. I Suggest to visit in hotel alteast once to enjoy a massive stay.

This hotel is like my home and every day I visit Bars and weekly booked room, all staff are too good specially reception staffs like Fayaz and Varun..Both are helpful and friendly. Rooms are so nice and too big.. room service is so quick to deliver orders

the worst hotel ever booked for quarantine, rude ,unprofessional and careless staff, disgusting room no hygiene at all damaged and dirty linen bathroom super dirty ,horrible food ,duty manager not available even the entrie management as per reception i should wait 2 days to meet them Which is unlogic.

I was utterly dissapointed with my stay in this hotel as it Is a worldwide chain but this doha chain had proudly said that theyve upgraded me to a suite that is just dirty, smelly and just a completely diagusting experience! The blankets have smell and stains and cigarette holes. The breakfast food was oily and gross and bread was stale. Overpriced food and quality is just too disgusting for words. I almost threw up!!!! I dont usually give very bad ratings but this is my way to help others who are planning to spend their hard earned money to relax! DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL! The 3star hotels are much better in Doha!

I stayed here for a few nights, rooms are a little tired. The sofa was broken. Bathroom was a little dirty. For most of the time only Arabic TV channels were available to watch. The irish bar upstairs was very nice with good service. The crossroads bar was not so good, has some rude staff and did not honor table reservations even if you reserved before anyone else they still had their preferred guests. Basooka bar was nice with friendly staff. The gym upstairs was unusable, very small and had broken machines. Swimming pool was nice if your alone. Room service food quality and presentation was 2 star and sometimes it took a long time to come. I wouldnt recommend this place for families.

Do not waste your money by staying in this property for many reasons : 1- cleanliness of the room (very bad) : the room is not clean at all. I found alot of places in the room that is not clean, alot of dust near the TV that it look it had been ages since it was cleaned, the fridge from inside is very dirty, the curtains is gross, windows frame was never cleaned and you can see cup marks from previous stayers. After seeing thst, I started looking more deeply and I found that the mattress is not clean as well. 2- the furniture in the room is old : the furniture and the style of the room is old and creepy. After seeing the cleanliness issue in many places in the room I start doubt the cleanliness of the furniture as well keeping in mind that they are old. 3- food : the food at this place is average 4- staff : I have called the housekeeping supervisor and have showed him the dirty places in the room, and he did not bother himself to do anything about it. 5- the window in the room does not fully close so it get humid in the room Overall, i do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel and I do believe they should not be more than 1 or 2 star hotel at max. Do not waste your money and Look for any other place to stay Some photos attached

I almost cancelled my reservations here due to bad reviews. A pleasant young male receptionist (Indian descent I think) his name I forgot but something starts with T I think. I arrived early at 9am and lucky for me there were rooms available and he tried his best to give me the best option. Every staff I encountered here were nice and helpful. Location can be a bit dim outside at night and I'm sure will put off others but I'm a lady used to roughing it and I was fine walking alone at night from the metro station. There's no shops nearby and it's walking distance to museum and promenade and souk and metro but they're all a good 10 to 20 minutes depending on your strength and during summer, consider the heat factor, the good thing is that taxi will costs about 10 rials My room was on 4th floor facing the mosque to the right, it was like a suite with massive bed and separate sitting area. The decor was little dated but still ok and quite clean in room, hallways and lobby. I was only here one night so didn't use other facilities nor breakfast, the sandwich in the cafe in the lobby was good. If considering arriving from airport by taxi it's about 40 to 50 rials and the easiest and what I used because I had a suitcase. If arriving by metro then souk waqif is the nearest station then walk or get taxi from there it's 10 rial. If you walk from metro to hotel and have a wheelie bags then be warned not every street has pavement.

The location of the hotel is quite good, walking distance to the main attractions, such as market, the Pearl, the Corniche,Museum of islamic art... We have rented a suite. The room was nicely designed, spacious and spotless. The bathroom seemed a bit dated but it was clean and provided with all toiletries. We felt quite comfortable inside. Valet parking was quite a nice addition. Breakfast was not included, so I cannot comment on that. When we arrived (quite late at night), some suspicious people were hanging around/in the hotel. It felt a bit weird. Also, on our way to the room, some drunk boy puked in the elevator. Soon enough we realized, there is a bar on the rooftop that sells alcohol and since it was Friday night, some people where 'enjoying' themselves. Unfortunate, that the hotel does not have a different entrance to that bar, it didn't leave us with good impressions. Also, when in bed, we could hear people from outside and constant honking. It was quite disturbing. Additionally, when checking out the lady from the reception told us to wait 5 minutes (she had no customers), she was supposed just to take the card and check us out.

Had one of the best Spa session at Best Western Plus Doha “Masseur Irene”has magical hands she is very professional, Steam and Sauna is Complimentary, surely would recommend the spa services, will visit again for sure

I'm not one to give negative reviews,because I know it isnt easy being in the service industry. But there are just some things that had to be said. Arriving late afternoon after an early morning flight from Madrid,all tired and sleepy from the bumpy flight full of turbulence,all i wanted was a smooth check-in so i can get my much-needed sleep. So i have an elderly mum,who was struggling with her huge luggage aft the driver helped her carry it out of the taxi,and then theres me carrying out my luggage and my brother who then went to pay the cab fare. was dragging the luggages to where the slope was so we dont have to carry our heavy luggage up the two steps (maybe not a problem to some people but i was with an elderly and we had 3 large lugagges) The porter just stood there and looked at us,not even offering help. Fine,i let it slide because i now have my younger brother with me to help with the luggages. Then the check-in. Was attended to by this Filipino lady whose name i did not bother to ask because i was just so exhausted. She had this straight face,no smile,no welcoming warmness to a customer at all.no greeting,just "yes ?" when she saw me.I had booked a room via Agoda which stated that the room type would be assigned upon my arrival. She asked if i wanted 3 single beds,or a queen bed with one sofa bed ; to which i answered ; POLITELY,that is : "i'm fine with either,thank you." and what was her reply ? " i am giving you a choice,thats why im asking you maam" in the most sarcastic tone ever. WOW. i've been to Doha so many times,stayed in different hotels but this is the first time i ever felt down with the service provided. Thank goodness at least the restaurant staff was nice (i'll come to the restaurant part later) Room was spacious but oldish. The tv was a mystery i took time to solve. My sofa bed was not prepared upon my arrival. Was told i need to call if i needed someone to set up my sofa bed. what the hell,i know. mind you,my arrival was past 5pm,cant you even get it ready ? okay nvm. Water heater was trash. There in the morning,freezing water at night. Restaurant buffet was expensive but at least the food was good and staff was polite and attentive. The only plus of this hotel was the big rooms and the fact that it is walking distance to Museum of Islamic Art and AlCorniche. Souq Waqif pretty near too. will i come back here if my family was with me in my next trip to Doha ? nope.

Very disappointed baiting the best western chain hotel in Doha . I was used to the quality and courtesy of the European Best western , but the Doha franchise was much below expectations. The front office were not qualified , over charged for an early check in and despite the fact that I travelled for 19 hours , I was woken up forcefully with the staff at my door to charge for the room though it was already booked with the credit card on booking .com and had insisted that they take an advance during check in . There was absolutely poor service with no concern for the guest and fire alarm blaring for two days for hours due to which I had very little sleep.

I use to stay in Best western hotel every weekend with my friends. Excellent staff in reception with smily faces. Rooms neat and clean with all amenities. Room service staff very quick in service. I recommend to my friends to visit and enjoy the Stay

Staff does not act professional toward questions on restaurants, access to the Grand Mosque etc. Buffet in the restaurant is ok but expensive. A soft drink costs 10 Riyal in the hotel but only 3-5 riyal in the town restaurants. The showers in the spa didn't work, so you had to wash in your room. And the staff (female) was often walking in and out of the mens changing room. And the Sauna, Steam room and showers in the female changing rooms didn't work either. The pool is not very big and cold. The TV`s only worked sometimes. The sofa bed was like a bathtub. Constant music noise from the club on the 13th floor (we stayed on 4th floor). AC was turned off because of the noise and couldn't go higher than 19 degrees. You pay at arrival so it wasn't an option to move for the 3 days we stayed in Doha.

I spend time always a weekend feel like my sweet home, I so thank full to all staff making my stay as happy weekend,great customer service from reception, big room and so clean,housekeeping staff are so friendly and so nice, I would like to say the best place to stay this hotel everything around here to go anywhere in the city. Ground floor restaurant has lots of choices on food and its so delicious food.

I was taken aback by how grubby this place was. Most displeasing was the dueling aromas that sock you right in the face when you enter. Old, stale cooking odours mix very badly with heavily perfumed air in all the wrong ways. Very dated. Not kept up at all. Swerve to avoid disappointment.

they cheated me, the menu rate showed something but when i check in it is different, i asked one of the House keeping Associate about the room type ha said different. then i called Reception to confirm, he said they gave me bigger room than what i booked (Free upgrade without asking) i said to him give me the room what i booked. after some time they called me to reception and given other room, which is not what i requested. due to tired we stay and relaxing, FO Manager called and asked that what is my problem. He said that his staff gave us Big room Than what i booked, and said that i am wrong didn't explain to his staff Properly.( YES I AM WRONG BY CHOOSING THEM) No apology or no investigation simple they denied my concern. it was my last time I will never ever come back n never suggest to anyone.

Its a nice hotel in a good location. I tried out their outlets on their top 14th floor and had a great time with some friends. Parking and taxi access was very easy. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and modern

The only adventage is the central location. You can hear the loud music of the top floor disco until 2 a.m. The bathtub was dirty the room stinky from cigarette smoke. The restaurant is overpriced compared to the quality of food. The personel not professional, they forgot the airport transfer. A big disappointment, shame on Best Western!

yes, room are spacious and staff is kind. But if you are a lady travelling alone, do not go cause, due to the visitors of the night clubs on the last floors, it is scary even taking the lift. Also, very noisy due to the nearby constructions. Not much clean neither. Lists are very slow.

We been to the bazooka bar in best western doha last night 23 October 2019 My friends arranged me a surprise bday party in there the staffs are very friendly people specially Mr. June bar manager or something he gave us really good welcome and Best service they did their best to make us happy and to enjoy. The DJ Filipino men I didn't get his name he was very good. Also Ariel did good job there. Prices are reasonable We had good discounts as a hoteliers. Highly recommended We will comeback

This is my second visit to Best Western Plus and I intend to book the same hotel for my future visits too. Hotel is clean, very spacious with all amenities. Its centrally located and is at a walkable distance to Souq Wakif, Carniche, Museum and may more attractions. It also has 4 Clubs, with free entry to the hotel guests. Hotel also has restaurant with quite a number of varieties, like Thursday night being Sea Food specials and so on. Hotel staff are professional and courteous. Jessa from reception is very helpful and proactive. She regularly enquires about our comfort and proactively works hard to give us a pleasant and enjoyable stay. She understands and handles the reservation without any hassles and is quick to respond with the confirmation(useful for visa processing). Mohmud and Siraj to name a few are at the restaurant and they make sure we are never left unattended. Though it's a buffet they do take our requests and see to that we are content with our meal. Nabirul is the manager and he is a service oriented person. He constantly walks upto us and is ever ready to make our stay a trouble-free one. Haven't really come across the house keeping folks but they tidy the room and arrange everything neat and clean. I highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

I will suggest the same thing as I did on my previous stay here, you need to make a separate elevator for the night club's customers (to avoid meeting the drunk people going up/down to/from the night club)

We broke our journey from Budapest to Sydney by staying at the Best Western hoping for a good night's sleep before the 14 hour flight home. For a start, the hotel did not organise our transfer from the airport inspite of the 2 emails sent requesting that. We were thus upgraded to an executive suite by reception. The room was very comfortable with all the facilities that you could wish for. However the location of the room was terrible, we were kept awake half the night by the traffic and the incessant hooting by drivers on the roads. Perhaps an upgrade to a quieter room would have been the better option. However, the hotel did organise a free transfer to the airport the next morning. Not a relaxing stay!

Always here because of the very good club which is krossroads.And also everytime we check in we got a nice room with the special rate. Reception are accommodating and also housekeeping are attentive. Very good hotel

Nicely situated in the middle of Doha. The beds are great and comfortable. The rooms and bathroom are locking very tired. There is a bar in the 14th floor which is okay. I believe there is a club too but did not get a chance to visit. The food is excellent.

I have stayed at BWP a few times now and have been coming back because of the good value and lovely staff. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The food I have ordered from room service was delicious and delivered promptly with a smile. All the staff I encounter in reception, housekeeping, maintenance and room service are very friendly and eager to meet my needs. Good service is very hard to come by, and the staff at this hotel will keep regulars like me coming back. Thank you and keep it up!

stayed for two nights at the hotel on a business trip. Good ambiance and specious rooms . Restaurant offers very good food . Situated at a central location surrounded by good vegetarian hotels nearby for a veg lover.

I stayed at this hotel for 2nights with my family and this hotel served us so nicely. Room was a big enough and has 2 LED's mounted on a wall. Location of this hotel was so satisfying and you get you Uber within 5mins. Corniche is just a 5mins walk away. Staff was so nice enough to serve their customers. There was a only problem with the internet wifi connection, rest of it was all good. Thank you Best Western Hotel, Doha!

Sent by Qatar Airways when missed connecting flight. Not a good experience. Greeted by prostitutes falling out the lifts. Rooms dated, tired, stank of smoke, noisy location. Tatty old minibus to transfer us back to airport. Only gave it 1 star as it's not possible to give it zero. Having read the reviews on tripadvisor I see I am not the only person to make these observations. The saving grace for us was that we arrived after 2.30am when the disco had ended. Many complaints about music throbbing through the floors! Will not be returning.

I stayed in this hotel it's kinda old fashion but over all great location. The best thing was the spa , all therapists were amazing , irine, Jenne, Maria have all the magic Will visit soon. Thank you for the great experience

Having 3 days staying in BW Doha, and i got upgraded to Deluxe room.. Room was quite big, and got living room and 2 TV set.. Bed and pillow are very comfortable, staff are very friendly, will come back again for another stay..

I stayed for one night and it was good thanks for the front desk staff they give me a big room I guess its suite not a room as there is two TV inside I went to the Irish and it was nice I enjoyed and sure I will come back

This hotel is very well located 5 minutes away from the Museums (walking distance) and close to the old market. It is also 15 minutes away from the airport.The rooms are very spacious, comfortable beds and incredibly good pillows! For the smokers, they have smoking rooms as well. The service is impecable, both at reception and room service. Food is standard and price is too high, but this is a common thing in most hotels in the city. Last but not least, the hairdresser was splendid. I will definitely come back to this hotel. I loved it.

Wasn't too sure what to expect based on some earlier reviews but I decided to stay there nonetheless as I had an ealry flight to catch the next day and it is close to the airport. My room was huge, very clean (including the bathroom), everything was working (including the wifi). Some minor maintenance would be welcome but overall very satisfactory especially for the price, great quality for money. Good lively Irish pub and disco on the top floors, though, clearly wouldn't recommend staying just below.

This place is easy-going. The lift was full of very well-oiled people on Friday night.. but who cares. Staff are easy-going. The rooms are as standard and you can walk to the amazing Islamic Art Museum in about 5 mins.

They are on the dot, very professional! Recreational facilities Rating - 3/5 This is their weakest aspect I guess. The gym is taken for granted, I would say, can be better managed. I got there one time and there's no one there even though it should be open by that time. I have to call the frontdesk to ask where is the attendant there just to get towel and cup for the water as well. The machines need maintenance or they will break easily. The floors and mats are collecting dust as well. I am sure they can do something about it. The massage services, have yet to try, but from my colleagues' experience, it was good! The pool is very nice and clean! It is like a private pool when you are swimming by yourself, very cozy and relaxing. Wifi 4/5 Adequate for the daily online and work activities, but not fast enough for online streaming of super HD. Security 5/5 Visibility of security personnel is always a good sight, gives you a good sense of safety.

Very clean, respectful team that puts the client confort first, great room service. Friendly all the team is smiling and welcoming good bars as well that does not disturb the stay in customers, I would recommend it for a short term stay and long term stay as well.

Stayed overnight to travel next day via Qatar airlines to Adelaide. Clean, spacious rooms in mid-range family hotel. Good food and location precludes shopping. Hotel package offering pick up from the airport on arrival and drop off at the airport on departure was only negative as it took 2 hours to be picked up at the airport and arranging drop off with the hotel staff was a hassle. Still value for money as a transit hotel.

The front counter staff appear to have had no training. Did not have a city map, knew little about what was happening in Doha and had few recommendations on what to do and see. Our room, while quite large and comfortable had no water on 1 of the days we were there.

Do not fall for the hotel pictures. I would give this place a ZERO star if I could. It's old and run down. Definitely needs remodeling. Staff not friendly towards women. Food is over priced and not tasty. Rooms are dirty. Our towels had stains. Elevators are super SLOW. Pool is indoor and looks abandoned. I felt like I was in a motel. TV remote was taped together to keep From falling apart so it was almost impossible to change channels. No channels in English. Just horrible if you're not a native. Not tourist friendly. Stay away!!!

The hotel was exceptional for the price. I would definitely stay there again. The free shuttle from the airport is a kill. The location is close to the food market so you can walk and buy food from outside.

I stayed one night in May in this hotel. - The location is wonderful, just walking distance to Souq Waqif and Islamic Museum. - My room was massive, big bed, sitting area, big shower area. - Room had two free bottle of water, fridge, iron, safety box, hair dryer and what you need to take a good shower. -very friendly and helpful staff - free and good wifi - free shuttle to/from airport - It has restaurant but I didn't try.

Nice hotel i stayed there for one night the hotel was quite may be beacuse of ramadan but i enjoyed the quite its good from time to time i had a big room i think its not a room its suite as its a very big with big sofa an two tvs inside i have a great time sure will come back again

I ordered room service. A sandwich and a couple of bottles of wine (Ramadan and the bar is closed!) as I'm there a few days and don't want to bother the staff. A small and easily resolved bank issue meant they couldn't take immediate payment (my 1st day in the hotel!). As I was desperately trying to solve the problem I was called several times by the room service staff asking for payment. I assured them I was working on it. I had plenty of funds in my account but even when I tried to show the online bank details to the manager he was not interested! He took my passport even though I was booked in and payed already for the 4 nights stay! I've never had such bad treatment or feeling anywhere I've ever stayed and I'll certainly never return to this crappy hotel or this country!

Usually I'm mot writing the reviews, but in this case I just have to advise a new commers, I had a one terrible transit night in Doha, Qatar airlines recommended this hotel as good 4* in terms of price & quality…. think double when you decide to go there even for 1 night. Staring from the absolutely not friendly and welcome reception I received a very dirty room in the 9th floor, where the key was not even working and I made 3 rides in the elevator in order to fix this problem, moreover, at 9 p.m. when I was trying to sleep before the early flight, next to me they started to make construction works and drilling!!!! When I called to the reception, they without explanations sent to my room a man who advise me that I can go with him and change the place, when I called again to the reception “lovely” lady just didn't pick up a phone, believe me, I tried a lot to reach them, I dressed and came there, and instead of apologize, received the answer that they making the repair of the hotel and people have to work till 2 a.m. anyway. Only after my complain they granted to me the room on the 6th floor in opposite direction from the construction, where at least the room was clean, but all of this “entertainments” last too long and I have only negative memories and emotions about this place. Conclusion: better to pay more and stay in the other hotel and not ruin the positive mood at the last vacation day. P.s. Not recommend as well their room service food in terms of quality.

The hotel is in a weird location. It's not close to anything. The rooms need some serious updates. The bathroom had what looked like mold in the corners. The food and staff were very good though. Delivery for room service was fast and the food was hot.

I'd like to start this review by giving a big thankyou to the staff at the hotel. Like many others, we were transitting through Doha on a flight home and had an 18-hour layover. We arrived at the airport at 2:30am without any hotel booking and the transit accomodation staff at the airport were able to give us a room at this hotel for $65USD until 6:00pm that night, including transfers to and from. We only had to wait around 15-20 minutes in the arrival hall before we were taken to the hotel and able to check-in, which was great considering we were very tired and it was after 3:00am by this point. The room was large, spacious, and clean, and we gladly went to sleep. Unfortunately my wife woke up around 8:00am with severe stomach pain and vomiting and we were quite worried and not sure what to do being in a foreign country. I rang reception and they sent someone up who offered to call the ambulance which we decided to do as my wife's pain wasn't going away. The paramedics arrived and were also great, they did a quick assessment and gave us the choice of taking her to the main hospital in Doha which would have been busy and had a long waiting time, or to take her to a smaller hospital in the next city about 20-25 minutes away where she could be seen a lot quicker. We chose the smaller hospital and on the way out the hotel staff gave me their card and said to call them when we were ready and they would send a car to pick us up, plus they would hold the room until 6:00pm as originally planned. After a couple of hours at the hospital my wife was feeling a bit better and the receptionist there called the hotel for me and they sent a car to get us which we really appreciated, they didn't even charge us for it. We then stayed in our room for the afternoon until we got our transfer back to the airport at 6. I'd also like to mention my wife's sickness was nothing to do with any food or drink at the hotel or anywhere in Qatar, we had travelled from Turkey and she had been feeling a little unwell at times before this. It just unfortunately got a lot worse while we were in transit. We saw the doctor today back home in Australia and it doesn't look like it's a bug caught from eating or drinking something bad. So thanks again to the staff at the hotel, we really appreciated the help!

On March 17, 2019, I had a one night transit in Doha en route from Delhi to the USA as seems to happen now w cheaper Qatar airways tickets. Qatar airways recommended Best Western Plus for $65 a night . I accepted as it was walking distance to the 2-3 tourist attractions in the city The " complimentary coffee" was never in the lobby and no one was making an attempt ( 3 occasions no less) to get it to me after reminding them There was no iron in my room . I asked . Nothing appeared 20 minutes later, so i set off sightseeing w crumpled clothes I asked for a paper to give the manager feedback at 11.30 pm ( I had a 5 am departure for my flight )- the stupid receptionist asked that I give it next day before departing. Even this was not easy. She finally gave me a blank page. I wrote to the manager with my email. Nine days later no response. AVOID this hotel. $ 65 of my hard earned money. Bad deal

Initially given a room different from what I had booked. Staff was quick to correct and get me moved into the proper room. Bedding was very comfortable and room service was very prompt. Very pleasant luxury car pick up/drop off service to airport.

Great location for Doha nightlife. Some good bars in the hotel itself and others within walking distance. However, please avoid rooms anywhere near the lifts! They have this really annoying 'ding dong' operating noise as they arrive at floors and it can be heard from any of the rooms near the lifts- one of those sounds that once you tune into early in the morning, you just can't unhear it! That and the fact that the rods they use to help you close the curtains don't allow them to overlap, allows a stream of bright light into the room in the mornings. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and the junior suite I had was a good size. TV system takes a bit of getting used to as well. No plug sockets next to the beds. If you are looking for a convenient short stay location then it is ok but too many niggly negative points to make it a must stay for me.

It was wonderful stay but didn't like the pool area which is indoor and expecting my child will be able to enjoy no heater in the pool there was a directory telling they have a play area for child but there staff don't know and only one staff said they don't have.. confusing information.. expecting my child enjoy the indoor pool but till 12nn pool is like a freezer cold water

Stayed 2 nights as a stopover in Feb 2019. Hotel is a 15 min drive from the international airport and ideally located for the corniche, MIA and Souk Waqif. Included breakfast was ok with an egg station serving omelettes etc and a selection of standard items, cereals etc. Our room was very big, clean and well maintained, with a real comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom included standard items, shampoo, gel etc a bath and oversized shower head. Used the bar on the top floor was very smokey and frequented by hookers which put my wife off. That said, they did leave you alone. Had a meal there one night while watching an international rugby match, food was average. Staff on reception were very helpful. Overall, if we visited Doha again, we would definitely consider the BW Plus again

Near to airport and very big rooms.. Have resto bars and shesha too.. must visit hotel in doha.. recommended for long stay as well.. i visted this hotel 7 times for my business trips.. good luck to you all

I liked the location and the friendly staff, the bed was so comfortable. I did not like the fact that every time we need to use the elevator we need to wait many minutes and we need to meet the drunk people going upstairs or coming down from the bar (I suggest to make a separated elevators for the customers staying in the hotels and the bar's customers

Tidiness and cleanliness is the first thing i look for when i arrive at a hotel. But....just make sure (cleaning staff) to tidy and clean every corner of the room (SOFA BED specifically) you'll never know what you'll see specially if your kids are the once who sees it.

Did not realize there was a nightclub on top floor. We were on 2nd floor thumping music till 2am. In the evening lots of taxis dropping of weird people heading to the nightclub. Too much shouting and noise

Recently spent two nights there on business. Very reasonable and the staff were very attentive. Food consisted of a self service buffet. Centrally located and convenient to the airport. Airport collection available on request.

One of Doha's hidden treasures. I had the good fortune of staying in this hotel in a junior suite few months ago. A spacious suite with good and comfortable amenities. The staff are service oriented with a nice friendly smile. It gives you a relaxed feeling. Later I visited it's bar on top floor alone to have a drink. To my surprise it was a lively place filled up with people of various nationalities enjoying themselves. The band kept everyone entrenched with music. The staff are maintains the happy atmosphere (from the bartenders to the bodyguards). I had a light meal with my beer and by far the best fish and chips I tasted in Doha. I highly recommend it. But a word of advice, avoid Thursday's as it gets jammed, unless you like it this way.

Well, Yesterday I went to Best Western Plus Doha to inquire about a Long stay( 3 months ) and would like to really appreciate the way Naro meets and greets the guests at Reception. I could see she was swamped with many calls and other guests all at once , But she was patient enough to sort out all tasks efficiently. So, since I wanted to know the tariffs for the long stay, I wanted to meet the sales manager. Unfortunately the sales staff was'nt available at the hotel,so I asked Naro wether you want to me come back again the next day or sometime else, but here is what happened that made me write this review for her. She said - No Sir - I want you to be assisted by our sales team, and i want you to look at our rooms. She made an effort, to pro-actively make several calls to sales offices and she made sure that I dont leave the hotel without meeting a sales staff and without looking at the rooms. To my surprise, within 10 mins , I see a sales executive assisting me with my request. These are few qualities of a highly dedicated professional. I can say Naro is an asset to the property. The hotel is nice. It is located near many cool attractions such as Souq Waqif, the Islamic Art Museum, the Pearl Monument. It is very easy to get to the hotel from the airport. The breakfast is good.

We stayed at Best Western for one night, since we were just in transit...The hotel staff is nice,and our double room was huge. The bed was very comfortable...it's just that we had no towels in the bathroom. Otherwise,the hotel was very nice.

It was a very pleasant stay this hotel usually in my weekend, the receptionist was so kind with warmly welcomed. I stayed in room 604. The room is big, nice &neat and got it affordably.I enjoyed a lot with foods and also from bar. Big thanks to all receptionist who welcomed me warmly that night specially for giving me a late check out. I'll come back very soon.

My mother and I have checked in to the hotel provided by the airline. And the guy at the réception is really rude. No welcome nothing, I asked if breakfast is provided, he firmly said no. We asked if we could eat and if room service is available, he answered we work 24hours, you call we will bring.... remember now that we've left home since 1:30pm and landed in Doha at 12 am.Issues at the airport delayed us, and we just got to the hotel about an hour ago- I forgot to mention my mom is diabetic and on insulin, it's now 3:04am. Trying to call room service, reception even laundry and no one is picking up the phone, this is an absolute revolt of an hotel. Apart from the bell boy who was super nice, I would rather sit at airport for 10 hours then come back to this hotel.

Started getting a room beside lift shaft, 6 floors under the disco. Spent the night until 02:00 feeling bed and pillow vibrate to the music. Asked for another room, got a quite large room with a minibar refrigerator that was not cooling, and a safe showing “batteri low” every time I operated it. Asked 3 times for maintenance to sort out the issues, no response at all. Stayed the 2 weeks I had booked, and decided not to return.

nice place to go in the middle of Doha its my place to enjoy and meet my friends wherever we will be in the krossroads at the top or the Irish both are good we enjoyed playing the billiard wile we have our drink.

Although the overall stay was okay, it should no longer have a 4 star rating. The bathrooms should get a definite upgrade. The baths seem to be build in afterwards in the place of the showers, and can not be cleaned between the glass and the baths! The towels were thin and weary and out of the 4 night stay we have to callt two nights for towels. After waiting 30 minutes we have to call again. All over, it is definitly not 4 star!

The best part is its location followed by value for money, and yes the top floor club adds cheery on the top :). Rooms are spacious with good facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Two of the four elevators were not working which was a bit of inconvenience. Overall recommended for a good stay !!

We were placed in this hotel by Qatar airways as our flight was cancelled. After an amazing holiday resort in Male to this ! The bed was broken and creaked all night . The bathroom was dirty with pubic hair in the sink and stained towels . The food was cold . We went to the Irish bar on the 14th floor , just for a look really and were treated in a disgusting manor by a black man in the door . He laughed at us and was really aggressive for no reason ( we are taking this complaint further with your hotel chain as this man needs to be aware of his attitude to guests ) . Vile place . Steer clear .

Terrible room (floor was slippery danger dirty you should see the window like construction not completed) It was written that sea view diplomatic suit but not. Personel and service was terrible. Breakfast was the worst breakfast I had. personel only make their breakfast in restaurant it was terrible terrible how some people wrote it was perfect. We read these review and decide to stay. Again from the front desk to restaurant it was terrible Room OMG you can not sleep because of noise from air condition some sound from outside again I DONT SUGGEST TO GO

I booked this hotel for family around 10 days back. My family arrived few hours before me. I was really shocked when I discovered that the respectable hotel gave them a smoking room!!!! Although booking was a non smoking room and it was obvious that this room is for a family with two kids!! A really bad impression that the respectable hotel made use that I wasn't there with my kids and they tricked by occupying a smoking room despite non smoking room was available. When I arrived to hotel I changed the room. The funny thing the new room was equipped with a plugged basin!!!!

I am from Tokyo and travelling with my son. This is my first time in Doha, without any idea where to go and where to stay. We have to stay in Doha for almost a month from March 6. So, I thought of asking some help from my cousin who is living in Doha and referred me to stay at Best Western Plus Hotel. We were so delighted with the warm welcome of the staff at the Reception, we arrived early morning as early as 2am and they welcomed us. Mr. Sandeep and Ms. Maribel are very approachable and amiable. The room is big where you can relax. Sometimes there are some noisy guests but it is usual even if you stay in a five star. Overall, we had an excellent stay! The housekeeping staff who was assigned to us are nice people too, so generous to my needs. For travellers who want some leisure, there is also a captivating bar at the higher level inside the hotel. The location is convenient and just 350-500meters to different restaurants. Museums are just nearby where you can take a walk or ride a taxi for 10riyals. Shopping centers are not too far. I will miss Doha and will definitely be back soon! My son and I enjoyed our stay at Best Western Plus Hotel. We love it! We really appreciate the overall kindness they gave to us. Our wonderful experience begun from warm smiles of the staff. Will definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues!

It was a great stay in this hotel and very accommodating staffs they have.A lobby where you can sit and relax with a cup of tea/coffee.Great assistance they provided too when you need information about the place.

Dirty hotel. dirty room. broken window lock. noise all the time. Rubbish breakfast no taste at all in the breakfast food. No tea or coffee or juices or even water unless you ask them they will give you glass of water. Staff are not professional they have no care of guests I am regularly travel around the world but I have never seen this sort of dirty rubbish hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I stayed 5 nights in room 715 I had horrible experience. What photos they show in advertising the hotel there is nothing like that. I am Diamond member BW Reward but they did not bother to acknowledge my elite status.

The hotel is located near the ocean and about 20 minutes from the Airport. It is a beautifull property with 3 or 4 types of restaurants and a irish pub. We hate in the loby restaurant 9A BUFFET) that offered middle east dishes (excellent). Our breception upon check in was done to perfection. The room was big with bedroom and large sitting area. The bathroom also big and with full aminities. They also have a smoking erea in the lobby where you can enjoy a non alcoolic beverage...Nothing but good to say about this property.

One of the best Hotels in Doha , since i entered the hotel i got a nice impression about the service and the quality of hospitality , checkin and check out experience was so smooth and efficient stuff was friendly and helpful especially the guy in Reception his name Samiiir , good restaurant recommendation from his side and professional briefing about the hotel facilities , Room was awesome and very clean , logical price value !

The hotel is affordable, clean and comfy. They have amazing Krossroads Club with the best band ever in Doha the Soundsations Band. Food is good and affordable prizes. Location is best for the tourist its nearby Souq Waqif, Corniche and Islamic Arts Museum.

Krossroad staff are very friendly! The band is awesome, they play all types of music which is this make them unique from other's. Hotel is clean and staff are accommodating!! Recommend for bussiness and leisure travelers.

I had stayed in this hotel for a month and enjoyed all days, the people are so friendly and the rooms are clean and very good organized. The location of the hotel is very well as you can reach all touristic and also business centers.

Generally speaking, this hotel is in great location. We saw most of Dohas attractions in one day, on foot. The rooms are what to be expected from a Best Western with a bit of Qatar "pizzazz". A special callout to Samer at the Front Desk for his Über friendliness. Do again? See you in April!

Nice hotel , near soul waqif and Qatar museum , cl food is quiet nice , they have amazing night club it name krossroards also the Irish bar not bad and the Chinese restaurant offer nice food as well highly recommended for friends ??

I stayed overnight in this hotel not imagining it would be a nightmare. They were nice enough to upgrade me to the Deluxe room but my experience with that left me wondering what the Standard rooms may be like. The room had no heating and no hot shower. Simple utilities like slippers and hair dryers were not provided. A plumber took a hour to fix the hot water at night but it was gone when I woke up the next day. Another one hour and the plumber gave up asking me to wait which meant leaving for my meeting just like that. The wifi was the worst I had experienced in the Middle East. It simply didnt work and after several calls it was fixed only to conk out again. The only saving grace was the location. Apparently the hotel was called Coral first and mant cab drivers didnt even know about this one. Nearly missed my flight trying to find the hotel!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Best Western in Doha. It is easy & well situated to be able to walk to the old town. We preferred the rooms with a view. But the Hotel's bedrooms were comfortable & well appointed. We enjoyed their breakfasts & also had other nice meals there. On one of my visits I also received a good massage there.

Service was v slow & breakfast was not good & it's not my expectations. I told v chairman in hotel.. Hotel is 3 star.& also I not recommend to my friends .. let see what's new features, i personal think it's waste of money

Stayed in this great hotel in transit through Doha, rooms we were given were fantastic suites. well appointed and clean. The staff were very friendly. Having been treated well and enjoying our clean luxurious rooms we got to carry on with our journey refreshed and revived. The Irish pub upstairs is also good.

Starting from entry bouncer are miss behaving and come to service staff need to well trained about product knowledge and examples they don't even know the meaning of hospitality, I order for beer and ask with glass but they service in use glass and its totally smelling, I ask to change the beer but waiter service with the bottle its was upset night!!

This is great getaway place to hang-up you hat at the end of a long day, peace and quiet. For the price, you can't beat it, very clean, well organize; with a great selection of food on the breakfast buffet. Negative, there is no restaurant/bars or major stores with in walking distances.

I wrote this in the guest book of hotel website first. However, I couldn't read my review so that I don't know it is shown there. My family and I stayed at BWPD overnight during our long lay over to Nwe York. It was a courtesy of the airline. Our family consists of 4 members. Young lady at check in desk suggested me to take a large room instead of two seperate rooms. Since my daughters are technically minors, I accepted the suggestion. The room actually is for two person. There were two bedsbin the room which were not wide enough for two person to sleep on. My wife and I did not sleep well. My daughters also complained of narrow bed. Complimentery drinks were for two person. When I asked for toothbrush, I got two. I had to asked for two more. Apart from that I don't have a problem with the hotel and employees. Employees are polite and efficient. If I don't feel like I am cheated, our stay at BWPD would be a nice one.

How rude is it when you have already fallen asleep (10 PM) and the front desk is calling and asking you which company you are working at and when asked why is it, they cannot give a proper reason. Just because they cannot find my booking. They could have just asked upon checking in or when checking out. Staff should be more professional.

I booked a 4 night stay and 2 rooms at the Best western Plus Doha Qatar for my birthday get away. On check in the reception staff was really kind and upgraded my room and had a cake sent up. I thought wow this is gonna be a good weekend. Unfortunately not. The wifi did not work at first so I had to wait about an hour to get it sorted, the room had no robes or slipper so had to ask housekeeping,who did a really good job, to bring us some. The TV stations did not work and when asking reception to have a look at it the lady at the desk just told me to watch channel 7 that will be fine. So I only had one channel to watch the entire weekend. I was not able to sample the food of the hotel, I wanted to order some in room breakfast one morning, and after a very rude conversation over the phone with a man wanting me to come down to the buffet and stating that they could not do room service breakfast I gave up on even trying to get food at the hotel. The hotel itself is also very noisy with elevator bells and trolleys moving 24/7. The indoor pool was really nothing special either. Careful of the mini bar in the rooms you cant get these things much, much cheaper from a store than in the hotel. The one area that I truly enjoined both facilities and staff, was the spa, The staff where professional the treatment where great and the steam and sauna area is really good, I did however find it strange that the charges cannot go to your room account and have to be paid immediately at reception on the ground floor, so one of the spa staff need to accompany you from the 16th floor to the ground floor to go pay for your treatment.

The best think about best westren plus is the location where it is close to souq waqif and cornaish. Also it is quite place specially in the lower floors. If you are in 12 or 11, you may be annoined by the party.

I had a advance booking through Orbitz . Com . I checked in on april 17 th . The lady on front desk was very knowledge . They gave us a room the air-conditioned did not worked , any how they changed our room . In the morning at 6.00 am when I went to check out the front desk guy his name is Mustafa was extremely rude and very unprofessional . He started accusing me that I have no advance prepaid booking . He swiped my credit card in front of me twice and he was keep accusing me that my booking is through Expedia and its not not advance booking . I have to show him the proof he is not able to see any documents in hotel file . I showed him my email but that so called manager do not know what is prepaid or advance booking means due to all this drama he got me late for airport and he have no regret for his behavior. Over all hotel was good and location was perfect too . I liked the hotel but due to him I will not stay in that hotel any more .

We were gifted a free stay from Qatar airways since we had a long layover. Although we couldn't stay a full night, it was definitely worth going there. Very nice hotel, rooms are huge and in my experience, very clean. There was lots of construction going on; but it can be ignored once you're inside the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This Best Western Plus is also close to a main road, and within walking distance of a nice skyline view, or boat rides if you desire. Beautiful at night!! Definitely recommend.

Due to very much crowded airport of Doha, my friend and I arrived late to the hotel, after midnight coming from Kuwait. We also had a friend coming from Dubai, so he did the check in instead of me (as the booking was on my name for 2 people), and they upgraded us from standared Double Room to a Junior suite, and after discussing with Mr. Hani and the front desk personnel Mr. Mustafa, they agreed to upgrade by paying only 100 QR for the 3rd person. They were very helpful and the service was good. The suite was very big, and the sofa bed was specious and comfy. Breakfast was a very huge open buffet, with a huge varaity of food. The swimming pool was small and not that good, but the steam and Sauna rooms were excellent, jacuzzi was not working. In general, the staff are very helpful with a beautiful smile all the time. And I dont want to forget to thanks Ms. Daria, the morning front desk personnel as well.

This is My choice of hotel as the company I work for use another hotel across the road but I prefer the Best Western Plus. I have been coming here for over a year and I find the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and beds are clean. The Tv system is awkward to use but I just turn the volume down and it turns itself off. It can be noisy at prayer time as there is a mosque across the road and you can hear call to prayer. The food is good quality and the price is the best. The hotel location is close to supermarket,Big Market with lots of food places to eat. I enjoy every stay here.

Our flight was delayed leading to a missed connection, Qatar then arranged to put my wife and I (plus about another 14 passengers) in the Best Western Plus. From the start it was a debacle - the hotel representative at the airport didn't have a sign so took some tracking down. Once located he advised the party it would be 30 minutes for the shuttle. After 40 minutes he then said it would be a further 20 minutes. After 30 minutes he said 5 minutes. By this time the poor guy was hiding in various places in the airport : by the men's toilets, round the corner of the elevators, outside etc... he had the look of a man given bad info and expected to sell it to some exhausted passengers. After a trip to the Qatar "customer service desk" where we we fobbed off by a grinning, almost laughing representative, we were advised 5 minutes..... After best part of 2 hours a shuttle finally turned up and we squeezed all party members on the bus for the 15 minutes journey (where did this shuttle originate to take 2 hours? Dubai?) On arrival to the very worn looking hotel we had to queue while rooms were assigned. Eventually arriving in it room: a very spacious suite style room with a sofa bed plus chairs in one part and a king size bed in the other. Both tv came on in each part but wouldn't respond to either remote control leaving no other option but to turn off at the mains. The room was primarily to get some rest and refresh before returning to the airport for a 1am second attempt at a rearranged flight. The room A/C was set at 18 degrees - freezing and a complete shock after 37 degrees outside. The shower was..... disgusting. Mold, mildew, grime... we both agreed a further shower would be required to clean off had we attempted to use it. Food was provided at a cap of 100 QAR - this was a pleasant and varied buffet including delightful cakes (counting one of the three stars I gave this review). There was nothing to do in the hotel or from what we could see in the surrounding area. No information was provided so we asked for an early transfer back to the airport as we were utterly bored. I will gladly not return to this hotel even if free.

Noisy, old rooms, slow elevators with waits up to 20 minutes on peak moments, bad food, ... should I go on? Had a suite, you can simply hear what the people in the suite underneath are saying, or doing... staff is just using the elevators as they please and ram you with their carts while you are inside. You will never see me here again

Worst experience of life at the Best Western Doha Plus. Poor location. The entire hotel is smoking. You have to wait for hours to get service. Even the manager is not interested in serving you. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY here. Better go to a 2 star hotel.

I'm a pretty easy going guy when I'm away on business. All I want is a bed, breakfast, shower and a quiet room. Now I'm 5 days into a 7 day stay at the Best Western Plus Doha and at 11pm I've had to pack all my gear (shirts, suits etc) and move rooms because renovation is taking place on my corridor and they're not planning on stopping until past 11.30pm (or so I'm told by the unhelpful and rude reception staff). Full story below: Refurbishment has been taking place on the 4th and 5th floor since my arrival. This is by no means a bad thing in a hotel as they usually only work during office hours. However, The Best Western Plus has decided to work through the night. Now I can put up with the noxious smell of paint for a few days, I suppose you have to. But if I have a full day of meetings planned then I need at least a good nights sleep. At 10pm I jumped into bed as I have a full day tomorrow. At 10.30 they were still cutting tiles in a room two doors down from me, but they may have well been cutting them next to my bed. I picked up the phone to call reception. It told me all the lines were vacant. I got dressed and went downstairs to the reception to stand in line for 5 minutes. I asked politely what time they were stopping. She said in a few weeks (I don't think that was even a joke). I explained I meant tonight. She called maintenance and was simply told later than 11.30pm. I asked could they stop now while people were in bed. Instead I was given a key and told to move rooms. Not once did anyone even apologise or seem interested. So I had to pack all my gear up, including laptop and work etc and put it back in my case. Take it 5 floors up and unpack again to ensure I'm ready for tomorrow. Not only that, but my room has a window that wont shut. Don't know if you've ever been to Doha before but let me tell you, its loud. Traffic is 24/7 and the morning call to prayer is 4.53am. And that's pretty loud. This caps off a pretty rubbish experience here anyway because of the following: • Rude staff • Poor breakfast choices and quality • Bugs in the sauna • Staff only ever try to give you expensive ‘limousines' and refuse to help you hail a taxi • At least one elevator must be broke and the rest take a week to get to you. All in all, this is the worst hotel I've stayed in and I can honestly say I've stayed in a few. Avoid at all costs!

Qatar Airlines paid for our stay at the Best Western Hotel, Doha, as we had a 23 hours wait for our first flight on to Adelaide Australia. We were given a very nice king-size room with bathroom, plus meals/drinks to the value of 150 Qatar Dollars each person, which was more than enough to give us two huge meals. We had breakfast and lunch which were presented in a big buffet with amazing choice of food. Both meals were extremely nice. The Best Western is also very conveniently placed for walking to the Souk (market area), and Museum of Islamic Art..

It is a perfect hotel with wide rooms and helpful staff.. it's location is nearby most of the city landmarks.. rooms are clean and all amenities are available.. staff are very helpful starting from check in until check out.

Located about 15 minutes away from the airport, this hotel is very comfortable with large rooms and reasonable breakfast platter. The Souq Waif is hardly 5 minutes drive from the hotel and so is the Museum of Islamic Art. The staff is very helpful.

This topic is not specific to the hotel, however from views of the lobby area, i am not sure it is that spectacular as a property. This topic is specific to the night club that operates within this property, absolutely terrible and to be avoided by any party goer who is looking for a night out in a decent environment. Those who want R&B Music, this place plays it all night, which is fine, however its the crowd and the way the place is managed, just poor, poor, poor. I believe they used to operate in a 5-Star property, but based on the visit, i can imagine that property removed them based on the complaints and the crowd attracted. A location for majority wannabe gangsters. This hotel should lose the A-1 Factor and move towards a better business suggestion.

The hotel was much nicer than what I expected. Our room had everything you may need during your stay. It was huge and clean. Rooms look exactly like on their website. I stayed there 10 days, but if you ask me, I can live there :)

My title says it all. The bass from the nightclub will shake your bed and windows in your room until 2am. The hotel moved me to the first floor after six phone calls to the desk and one call to Best Western customer service. I also had a non-smoking room and every time the AC kicked on, it blew cigarette smoke into my room. So unless either of those things appeal to you, I would find another hotel.

Qatar Airways placed my family (including 2-year old son) and I here for a nearly 24-hr layover while returning home to US from vacation in India back in Jan 2014. When front desk saw our young son they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite and provided a crib. Though slightly dated and worn down, the two-room suite was extremely roomy and quiet. After check in we enjoyed the complimentary lunch buffet - surprisingly number of choices and all good. Cannot comment on front desk or other services as we did not use them. In any event, from what we saw we would not hesitate to stay here again under similar circumstances.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for our 20-hour stopover in Doha on our way to Jakarta. The hotel was assigned by Qatar Airways as part of their STPC deal. This means we paid 125 USD per person for the accommodation, visa and transfer. We could have predicted that this was not a great hotel from the beginning, as we were waiting at the airport arrivals lobby for longer than anyone else. The person responsible for giving us instructions at the airport kept saying the driver was on his way. What's another hour for someone who's been traveling for 14 hours with a 10 month-old baby? So we arrived at this dump and they assign us a room on the 12th floor. Stinking of cigarettes from the elevator lobby and shaking with loud music, we enter a large old room that was vibrating with noise. So we ask to change rooms. We later find out there is a nightclub on the 15th floor!!! But it's not so bad, the bell boy says, it stops at 2 am!!! Next room they showed us on the 7th floor stank really bad probably from a cleaning product that was used to remove the odor of cigarettes. So we patiently ask again to change rooms. On the 5th floor where we could still hear the music from the nightclub, we settle with this considerably smaller room with it's floor still wet (they said it was from the floor cleaning). Night lamps didn't work, there was only one towel at the dirty old bathroom, and trying to find a plug we even ran into some dirt from the shabby cleaning. I could say more and tell you about the crappy food also, but I think that's enough. Bottomline: if you get assigned this hotel by Qatar Airways, run as fast as you can!

Spending one night for business. Great people and very kindly. Good breakfast and good located. The souq is 8 minuts walking from it. They took my baggage all the day without problems. Marvelous view from the top.

The hotel was nice. It is in front of the islamic museum. The place is about 21 min away from The pearl " excellent location must be there" also 16 min away from Kattara. People are nice here . But location i can give 80% However, the room service is 70%. The food quality is not that much. burger need to be higher quality. I love best western world wide

I had a 20 hr stopover with Qatar Airways at Doha. It was a nice surprise that I was told by Qatar that I was eligible for a free night at the Best Western with a very reasonable meal allowance. The room was clean and there was a good supply of toiletries. The room was also very spacious, although my room lacked a good view out of the window. The air conditioning was very powerful, and the toilet was clean. I used up my meal allowance provided by Qatar and I had a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The food was of good quality and was tasty, although I wouldn't call it 'special'. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is 10 mins away from the Museum of Islamic Art, which I spent several hours in. Overall - EXCELLENT.

The Best Western Plus Doha is simply not a good hotel. It is not clean, smells faintly of cigarette smoke even in the non-smoking rooms, has an unresponsive staff, the restaurant is terrible, and to cap things off there is a night club on the top floor that doesn't stop blasting Arabic pop music until 2 AM (good luck sleeping through it if you are above floor 10). Had I known how many problems I would have had, I would have gladly paid for a different hotel entirely even though I stayed here on a free voucher when my Qatar flight was delayed. From what I can tell it is only reasonably convenient (20 minutes or so) from the airport. It is close to the Council of Ministers and Islamic Art Museum, but rather far from the downtown skyline area.

I had a huge room. It was clean, fresh and nice. The breakfast was OK, middle east style. The hotel staff do not smile much but they are efficient and Ready to help. I've checked out in the morning, and AT the end Of the day returned to collect my bag and they made available a room so I could changed and be Ready to my Intercontinental trip. I recommend this hotel

I stayed at the best western two weeks ago and was marveled by the lobby entrance and the friendly staff, the rooms were spacious too. The gym was a bit of a drab, but you can manage if you are on a holiday. I was not impressed that I was woken up at around 4:45/5am by management for some issues that could have been sorted out at check out. This killed the vibe and confirmed that it definitely that they are not ready for a four or five star hotel. Respect your guests sleeping hours.

I liked the hotel room it was nice and clean and the breakfast in restaurants was very good and fresh It also it was not far away from suq wagf you can go by waking and it was not far from Doha Cornish it was nice to visit Doha and saty in the best western plus Doha

Hotel has a fancy lobby with friendly front desk staff and large rooms but those are the only things going for it. Lots of people were smoking in the lobby, most of the bell hops seemed disinclined to do much of anything, and a drunk man interrupted our check in process to demand rooms for himself and his escort, an event that the desk clerk apologetically admitted was fairly common. I felt very unsafe. There is a disco or something on the top floor but I wasn't going anywhere near it. The room was not clean - there was even open toiletries left by a previous guest - and it was quite run down. We didn't even want to shower there - which was good because there was only one towel. We were kept awake by neon lights flashing outside our room and then awakened at about 4am by a call to prayer at the mosque just outside. Then I had to battle with the kitchen staff to get the breakfast that was included with our room. We had a 9am flight and so needed to leave just before 7am which they told me was "too early" for breakfast (what kind of airport hotel doesn't offer an early breakfast for travelers??) but the front desk managed to convince them to bring us a packed breakfast to our room before we left. It came, without cutlery, but was almost inedible: cold and greasy sausage and potato and a rubbery omelette with no fresh fruit or yogurt or pastry. We got a much better meal on the plane. We paid 50QR for a taxi from the airport because we thought that the shuttle cost more, but it seems that the shuttle is now free. We took the shuttle to the airport in the morning and it was positively packed to the gills with people. Not that there used to be another hotel with the same name - or this one recently changed their name or something - so make sure you have the address with you if you take a taxi. I would NOT recommend this hotel and am shocked that they get to have the "Best Western PLUS" name.

The staff Joaquim the reception is very rude, there is no profesional and no smile to the guest at all. He really dont know how to handle the guest. First time i stay there, he is the one who handle as well. I gave a second chance to come back, but it still the same! Will not come back there again!

I stayed here during a long (10 hour) layover on Qatar Airways. The room was a place to sleep, but nothing as nice as the professional pictures would lead you to believe. Plenty of space in the room, yet somehow did not feel very warm or personable. Did not try the wi-fi or TV.

I am staying here now. The breakfast is good, the room is clean and roomy (i have a suite). Mine has 2 beds and a sofas bed as well with 2 TV's. My family and I like this hotel. The only complain i have is the room does feel a little cold. I set the thermostat in my room to 18.5 degrees, but woke up with the temp in my room down to 17, so i shut off the air conditioner and since we are in Qatar, with the AC off for 30 minutes the temperature went up to 20 degrees. Service is good too, because my mini fridge was not working and they swapped it for me in less than 30 minutes. Overall, i think this hotel is nice. I was staying at the Amari Hotel in Doha and i really didn't like it because it was too humid. Like i said overall, i recommend it and would stay here again.

This hotel is terrible! Too noisy during the night. People are smoking in the corridor near my room (that was a non smoking room). The room is ok, big and with all the amenities that we need. The staff was also ok. But for sure you have better options in Doha.

Had a one night stopover here when flying into Doha, this hotel was a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, the room was very spacious and clean and tidy. Only downside was its very isolated and not much else is nearby, there is a mosque close by. Ate in the buffet restaurant which was pretty good too.

The hotel is substandard, the rooms make you not feel welcome and appear very cold. If you are on a higher floor you'll have the sound from the night club all night long, plus the mosque next door will you wake up at 4am in the morning. The breakfast is also below average. Positive to say is that the corniche and Souq Waqif are pretty close by.

i was there for a couple of days, i visit many hotel specially 4 stars but the most hotel i love to stay is this hotel cause when u enter the lobby, the hotel lobby is amazing and the guest relation girl shes really help full and always smiling her name is Ms. Naida she help the guest start a new day with a huge smile in her face, shes a good asset in this hotel, some of the receptionist don't know how to smile and treat a guest properly. the room is very clean everything is perfect.

the hotel is really nice and the lobby is big and clean, some hotels are not aloud to smoke in the lobby but this hotel is ok!! that's one of the reason why my friend wants to stay there the guest relation is shes very sweet, and always smile her name is Ms. Naida, shes the best asset of your hotel some of the front desk is dont know how to smile.

Spacious room, spacious bed, breakfast ok, lobby little bit noisy. We didnt stay much when here, near to souq waqif, which is one of the main attractions in doha. Walking distance which is always to prefer. We stayed for a few nights while visiting our daughter who is working in Qatar. Hotel can improve, but it is good for location and for price.

Staff helpful, informative on local site seeing places and does suggest you various options based upon ur budget and time. The hotel provides local tours service or cab to see around doha. Rooms are excellent with all top class facilities. Food was great. morning break or brunch buffet is available. All different types of palates can be satisfied.

I was there because of a flight delay, the hotel is near to the city souk and corniche, nice position. Personnel is kind and helpful, but rooms and structure are not very clean and the dinner provided was a poor buffet. I think that such a structure could be used in a better way.

I was provided with this hotel by Qatar Airways as my fly delay and I didn't catch my fly to Miami. There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel. Room was big and clean, nice food in restaurant and very helpful and pleasant staff. I had problems with my email and reception team assisted me to fix my issues. I really appreciate their help and I would definitely recommend this hotel to one who would thervel to Doha.

Usually I don't write negative reviews but being kept awake past 12 midnight by banging club music three floors above my room (11th floor) has a strange way of helping the mind focus. I believe that in life there is good and bad so I take this experience as one of those bad experiences that fate has dealt me. Not by choice, the Mrs and I found ourselves in the 'Best' Western Plus Hotel, Doha due to Qatar Airways flight delays which led to a forced layover in the city. They were 'gracious' enough to provide us stranded passengers with food and accommodation at this hotel. Clearly two wrongs don't make a right. The Best Western brand has a global reputation for basic, shoddy and tired hotels. The whole brand itself is tired. I wasn't expecting much from the hotel so I guess I'm not too disappointed. If only the windows and walls would stop vibrating from the loud music! The hotel lobby looks decently furnished and creates a facade of luxury. However, the rooms are anything but. The bed is squeaky and springy. The sofa is worn and has visible tears and coffee (or god knows what) stains. The wooden furniture is scratched and the windows are foggy with dust, preventing any decent views. Oh....the windows are still thumping in rhythm with the bass from the music from the club above. The only redeeming aspect of our (one night) stay was the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The Lebanese chef was kind enough to personally cater to our gluten / diary free dietary request and came out to say hello. Great guy. All in all, I'm hoping that you've read this review BEFORE you booked your stay at this hotel. If not, then you're probably also awake at almost 1am in the morning hoping that the walls won't cave in because of the LOUD music. I'm almost tempted to get out of bed, get dressed and go join the party. The Mrs would probably disapprove though. Oh and forget waking up to take a refreshing swim to clear your head and calm your frayed nerves from the club noise of the night before. The pool only opens at 9am and closes at 6pm. If you're a business visitor, you might as well forget using the pool...except you skip lunch at work and rush back to the hotel to use the pool...which is closed to men from 1pm to 3pm.

We were upgraded to a Junior Suite and i should say i was a nice cozy room. however the first impression doesn't please me was due to the fact that, at the reception you are not attended by a greet, a smile or a simple a hello. The look in the face of the guy at the reception was like what are you doing here? Seriously.... I dont know where thats his attitude towards guests being asian or his is tired in working. However, other than that everything went well. Rooms wishe: The Suite which we received was towards another building. the curtains are a bit transparent so it concerns the Privacy of any individual in the rooms. Other than that everything was great!

I booked a room on Hotwire and had the unpleasant surprise of it being the Coral Hotel Doha (Best Western Plus) I paid just under £90 it was supposed to be 4 star it was far from that! Reception staff were uninterested the hotel outside was quite dirty and not very well paved, when I checked in I asked for a non smoking room. On entering my room I was hit with a blast of disgusting cigarette smoke I think the people who had the room before had left minutes before still puffing cigarettes! the toilet was dirty and there were little flies round the drain hole. Loud music played until about 1am (thank god for ear plugs) and in the room above me something was running up and down well into the small hours. The only blessing was it was quite the next morning. I went to use the gym which the hotel directory said was on the 14th floor only to find that the whole floor was being refurbished. I went back to reception to enquire where the gym had gone and was directed to the correct floor. The gym had no towels or cups and was not in the best condition the windows and outside area were filthy. Checkout was very uneventful in fact when I asked to change money they said I could only change new notes no older than 5 years (I didn't even know there was a date on them so after looking through my cash a note was found that was satisfactory!) would I stay there again NO not even if it was £20

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. -Reception didn't have hotels.com reservation, and was told to wait and call hotels.com. After an hour managed to check in. -No towels in room when I came in. -Razor thin walls - could hear everything clearly from neighboring rooms -Kept AC off throughout stay but temperature didn't go above 20 C (in March!!) - turning heat didn't help -Bed creaked so much, you couldn't even switch sides without waking up your spouse. -Had to go to front desk twice to get approval to have free breakfast that was on my hotels.com booking -Supplies weren't topped off after first night Unorganized chaotic parking outside -Construction noises -And to top it all off, the staff has the worst attitude!!!!! It shouldn't be a best western "plus." Have stayed at 2-stars better than this.

I have stayed at this property on several occasions and have always experienced strange noise in the bedrooms. This weekend I think I found the reason. Yes, there is a nightclub on the 14th floor but that is not the main problem. I noticed that I was getting sounds of children, parents and hairdryers. Not only sounds, but I even had the smell of hairspray. I decided to investigate the actual construction of the building. It has the basic concrete structure with honeycomb shape of rooms facing outwards. Then place a steel window frame structure over the entire face (without sealing the individual room walls/floors/ceilings to it) and hey presto you get a selection of pods with an outside shell which offers no sound protection. Anyone with weird tendencies and access to flexible cameras could easily view adjoining rooms by slipping the scope around the wall, had they the inclination By the way, the food quality has dropped considerably.

Very poor experience. Room booked for a family of 3 but sofa bed not made. I asked for this to be done 3 times but it didn't happen. When I eventually opened up the sofa bed myself it was in a disgusting state. Eventually our room was moved but into a room where the beds were barely big enough. I was told my deposit of 200 Riyals would be returned to my credit card straight away but this has not happened over a week later. My emails have not been replied to. Very disappointed in what should be a good hotel.

Recently stayed 3 nights in Doha as a tourist. The hotel was clean with a large room and the hotel was in a pretty good location walking distance to the museum, waterfront and old Souk area. now with Uber in town its really convenient to get nearly anywhere without a car for really cheap. The only downside we noticed was they have no heat in the rooms even though it got a bit cool at night! Free breakfast is also a plus for very reasonable rates.

So on arrival to the hotel the staff were very pleasant. Great transfer and pick up from the airport and the receptions is very modern, full of fresh flowers and pleasant to see after a long flight. My room was very spacious, great size living area and bed. The cleaning was average, different days would leave something new to find - either cleaning products left behind in my room, my stuff moved for cleaning and not put back or just certain toiletry items not replaced. Not major things in the grand scheme of things. The restaurant was great and the food was pleasant and different each day. The staff were very helpful and nice to deal with. The negatives to this hotel is I found it very noisy. The room I had you could hear everything from outside, to the lift and just general noise. I also had a couple occasions where I got woken by staff bringing stuff to my room that I hadn't requested also another occasion where another guest called my room - I believe this was due to a member of staff providing him with my number. As a single traveller on this occasion, it didn't provide me with confidence or make me feel safe - especially when the reception staff were not interested or wanted to look into this for me. For me this hotel is a mixed bag but overall a good hotel. Just could do with a few improvements and it would be great!

Previous known as Coral hotel, Doha. Now it is renovated and very nicely maintained by best western plus hotel. They have big rooms living and bed room together. Big clean wash rooms. Provide amenities in bathroom. Every room has 2 TV, provide water boiler along with team coffee, mini fridge and bar, room safety locker, iron with iron stand. Complimentary buffet breakfast, swimming pool, jacuzzi on rooftop, steam, sauna and spa on payment available. There is one club on 13th floor named as cello bar.

Upon arrival there were no rooms ready so I was placed on the 14th floor. There was some renovation work going on so there was a lot of banging which prompted me to visit the pool for a swim and sun bathe... The pool is more for...'relaxing' rather than swimming as it has different sections to it so you couldn't do a lap. The outside area is unsteady as some of the tiles are loose and there were no tables or loungers out there, (although one of the stand members was happy to put a chair out there for me.). Overall the place seems a little forgotten and unused. I didn't visit the gym but I did go to the spa. It looked very relaxing and had a nice ambiance but was highly over-priced: 450 Qatari Reals for an hour's massage, which, at the time of conversion was £85! My room was fine, it had a separate sitting area and the bathroom was well stocked with complimentary toiletries. The biggest issue was that floor 14 is below the nightclub, it was a Friday (The Qatari Saturday night) and the music from it was very loud and went on into the early hours so I didn't have a very good sleep. The next day, feeling pretty unimpressed with the hotel, I asked for my room to be changed to be more quiet one. The staff were extremely obliging; by the time I'd finished breakfast, I had a new room with amazing views. The staff member on reception personally showed me the room and arranged for a porter to move my bags for me. I was very grateful and had a great sleep! The breakfast is really nice, varied each day there is absolutely everything: salads, hot local food, sweets, pastries, cooked breakfast, fruits, breads, an egg cooking station, a coffee machine for mocha / cappuccino etc and cold drinks. The location is in the old town. There is a lot of building work going on nearby so, at first, it didn't seem like a great location. However, it is walking distance from Souq Waqif (A must visit - in the evening in particular - it is beautiful and you can walk here along the river side with amazing views of the sky rise buildings in the centre of Doha. Lot of cafes, restaurants, local food and markets). It is easy to flag taxis down from the hotel - the staff will call one for you. Overall: Positives Breakfast Staff: very helpful providing me with a map, booking taxis, offering advice about where to go, providing an adaptor for me etc. Quality of rooms Overall feel of the hotel Location - to Souq Waqif Negatives: Can be noisy nearer the nightclub The pool The cost of spa The renovations (though of course these need to happen) Stairs (As with a lot of places in Doha, it is difficult to navigate the emergency exits as they don't seem to lead out to ground floor so, apart from the risk in emergency, you will be stuck waiting on the lifts!)

A good place to stay some days in Doha. The place is very well located, some minutes from the Cornishe, and 5 to 10 minutes from the soque by foot. The breakfast is good with a good choice as buffet. The rooms are ok for an hotel in its category, with good room space.

Staffs are excellent, waited for me to pick me up from the airport although the line was long at the immigration. The command of the English language is limited at the front desk, but fluent. They gave me a suite, but it was a disappointment. A ver large room with a separate sitting area. Furniture needs replacement, but the queen bed was comfortable. The complementary buffet breakfast is very good, the bathroom had no towels, but they brought me a few towels when asked, but they were not very good quality towels. My overall stay for 2 nights was quite pleasant, but next time I would prefer to stay at a better hotel.

The hotel itself was nice. However, organisation, preparation and general professionalism in the hotel by its staff was a horrible experience. Nothing was prepared for late night arrival of 3 guests. We had to wait over 1 hour to make things right without any apologies from the member of the hotel. Also it's worth to mention that the "swimming pool" is not as someone would expect as there is certain hours when you can use it based on whether you are a male, female or a child.

Staff are unfriendly and clueless at times. Reception area is total chaos. Porters don't seem capable of doing their job and are normally just standing around in the reception area. I was booked into this hotel by my company for a business trip. I stayed on the 8th floor and my room was close to the lifts which was annoying as i could constantly hear the lift bell day and night. My room was ok, pretty tired looking and shabby. Wall paper starting to come off the walls. Probably one of the worst hotels I've stayed in Doha. Room service food extremely average and poor choice of food on menu. Room was fairly clean, bed was comfortable. The rooms are really needing to be modernised. Its ok for a short business trip. I would advise tourists to stay in the west bay area as there is no good eating venues close by. WIFI is free, but not very good.

It was very unfortunate that I did not plan to visit Doha nor stay in this hotel. My flight was misconnected and I had to stay for one night - with complements from Qatar Airways. The hotel room assigned was large with a separate living room. But it looked very dated and badly needed a good refurbishment. We informed the airline to retrieve our luggage from the airport and had it delivered to the hotel. We had specifically informed the hotel to expect our luggage delivery. The hotel received a call from the airlines while we were out to explore the Souq Waqif but when we returned to check on the status, we were not given a proper update. Everything seemed so messed up. The staff at the front desk were not friendly or helpful. We were given the 'it's not our fault, go to the airline' kind of attitude. Thankfully the luggage arrived after almost 6 hours of waiting and I only had to stay in this hotel for less than 8 hours. Despite this unhappy incident, I must give some credits to the hotel restaurant. We were given some meal allowance from the airlines and ordered a la carte from the menu. The portion for the main dish was too big - more than enough to share with 2 adults. The service and food was good. What an experience!

It is within walking distance of the Museum of Islamic Art and Souq Waqif. Our room was perfect; we had a lovely living room area and it was very clean. They do have an Arabic nightclub on the top floor; my friend and I checked it out..it was a fun experience. Staff was helpful and breakfast was very good. I would recommend staying here and I would probably stay here again.

It's a typical business hotel, all the basic facilities are available but still bathrooms (especially bathing area) is very congested with only single top shower. You can hear people talking in adjoining rooms, reason being a wooden panels near curtains and little empty space between them or may be walls are thin, either ways you can clearly hear what people are speaking in adjoining rooms if they talk in a normal volume. Foodis just fine. Staff is good. Overall for other stuff it's good but expensive according to the facilities.

it is my first stay at the best western plus in doha and the hotel is in the center of the city, was staying with breakfast and it was more than good with many varieties and reception is helpful in any request and it is a good value for money.

I stayed in the Best western Plus for Business, the hotel is still under refurbishment. The breakfast room is ready, nice servings in large variety, lots to choose from. The rooms are huge 40m2 plus but old, they are doing it room by room and mine wasn't to the new standards. The swimming pool was out of order so was the gym, and yes under refurbishment. The rooms come with free wifi, but it is so slow you rather find another solution. So for the near future a great place but take your own data device.

My worst stay in a hotel ever.. It's cheap with spacious rooms and friendly staff but not professional. Everything else is very bad: - Cleaness - Noisy - Dark rooms, lighting is very bad in most of the rooms - Food has bad quality (room service) - Restaurant, only one restaurant that offers only buffet for all meals, not a la carte - They don't answer the phone at night (not midnight neither the housekeeping nor the reception I don't give it more than 2 stars, sometimes even 2 stars hotels are better

We were visiting the Qatar Boat show and this hotel was their partner, unfortunately for all guests. The hotel had no idea about the event. The staff was very unhelpful during every stage of staying there. The reception at check-in, the logistics, the staff, the room service, the overall hotel is an absolute joke. We had such trouble getting our complimentary rates as guests of the show. We had to put up an argument that lasted for 5 hours on covering the accommodation because of the poor communication of this hotel. Elif, the hotel manager is especially the one to blame and clearly lacks basic hospitality qualification and intelligence. Basically, she did not think it was her responsibility to check the names of guests who are checking in against the list of names given to her by the boat show organizers as their guests. She ended up booking different rooms for the guests and left the prebooked rooms empty. Then charged the guests for BOTH! It was an absolute joke. This person should be nowhere near a hotel. We paid the price of her stupidity and thankfully left to stay at the Warwick, an affordable choice at a busy time and excellent in accommodating their guests.

I did not select this hotel, it was provided as a complimentary transit accomodation by Qatar Airlines. I am a Qatar Airlines frequent flier and normally Qatar Airlines transit hotels are good, punctual with pickups and include even early morning breakfast ...... none of this at Best Western Doha. In future if this is the only option I would fly different airline through Emirates. There was no-one with a signboard (as normal) to meet our flight, we had to go to airport information who called the hotel. We (several folk travelling separately) then had to wait a good while while they looked for late stargglers who did not show. There was no breakfast provided. The room was nice and spacious but sleep impossible as seems there was a disco or similar roudy event right outside. The morning wakeup call to get to airport was late (thank goodness I had already been wakened by my telephone alarm), checkout disorganised and we had to wait in the bus to the airport while they again looked for stragglers. Some passengers waiting in the bus were becomming nervous about delays to get to airport for flights when at this point in the bus they started a shambolic administration of checking who was in which room. Very poorly organised and delaying. An inefficient and poor reflection on Qatar Airways and Doha airport. Will think about an alternative airline (of which I am frequent flier) and UAE transit as an alternative.

Unfortunately, the photos featured on the website are not a true representation of what we found at this hotel. The room was smelly, extremely tired looking and basic essentials were not provided. We did however get quickly moved to a different room when we stated that we were not happy. The second room was better, however the strange wall taps in the bathroom (which had to be turned in order for the shower to work) leaked and flooded the room within a short space of time. This was fixed, but they did not feel the need to clear up the bits of plaster or broken tiles after they had finished sorting the problem.

Even it's for a night, I'm glad that I have stayed at this BWP hotel. I had an unpleasant experience at Kuwait Airport due to a flight delay and when I reached at this hotel at night instead of at noon, I was greeted well at the reception and the room..wow! It made my day! Breakfast was plenty and great, and what I love most was the Halawa..superb! The supervisor from Nepal allowed me to bring some Halawa back to my room and made me feel like a 'Queen' ...Tqvm.

Question: what major brand hotel would accept new bookings while 24 hour major renovations are being undertake? Answer: Best Western, Doha. Jack hammering and power tool drilling throughout the night. Lame management that cannot supervise or otherwise control a contractor. Staff instructed to advise guest that the noise is coming from the building next door. That didn't explain the vibrations.....departed a five week stay after one week

I visited last weekend this hotel and had great fun in their night club. Amazing live Arabic music and ambience. Hotel is brand new, rooms spacious and I had in their spa the best massage singe3 I came to Doha.

I spend 2 days in this property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room spacious and modern decor. Huge lobby and beautiful restaurant with great buffet served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great Value for money!!!!

I travel to Doha every month and I wanted to stay at this hotel since I had heard good comments about the comfortable rooms and service. The service provided by the staff in general is very good and junior staff such as the waiters's room service and concierge is extremely good and they are very polite and courteous. unfortunately, the managers in this hotel is way over their heads with their attitude's. Basically, they will attend to you or even smile/talk to you depending on your face, outer appearance or the nationality. I would like to mention in particular the manager at the reception who's name is Mr. Basouny. i was told he is the operations manager. I had asked for assistance to scan a document and he simply ignored me and requested the reception lady to tell me that it cannot be done. mind you, the lady was on the verge of helping me, It was very obvious that this gentleman didn't know anything of customer service and i'm surprised he is even working as manager. The restaurant manager is even more worst. he simply stands near the kitchen entrance and keeps staring at you from top to bottom. Not even a greeting or a smile. These so called "managers" however jump on their feet and greet all the GCC clients with no reason and conveniently ignore all other guests. its so obvious and makes you feel sick. nevertheless, my compliments on the junior staff again as they are extremely nice and always very courteous. its sad that its not complete with the unprofessional managers they work with.

good to stay in your hotel (best western), nice location and interior, close to reach from all the places, all furniture are good to use and comfortable, very comfort to stay for business trip & overall service is satisfied thanks.
