Aiden Austin City Hotel

We found our Austin hotel…won't stay anywhere else! Staff was so kind and helpful. The facilities and amenities were top notch. We loved the attached sushi restaurant. The breakfast was way better than most hotel breakfasts. Tons of cute spots for pics.

I've been here on business before and had a positive experience, so returned again. I'm in my 50s, travel a lot and with much heavy equipment therefore always request ground-level booking. This was especially important because anyone familiar with this hotel knows what a maze it is with hallways, ramps, stairs, and small elevators. Despite the fact I made this reservation 4 WEEKS IN ADVANCE, upon checking in they did not have ground level. I was on the 3rd floor and even with the elevators thought I was going to risk a heart attack doing this every morning and evening. The room had a weird funky smell and internet was slow or our completely 1/2 the time I tried. I left too early for breakfast every day to comment about it. The front desk was nice. It's a good value for the price, but you also get what you pay for. I won't stay here again.

Luxury style hotel with an afforable price! Super clean, amazing staff, bar and restaurant included? Such a deal! Also the bed and pillows were so comfy!

The place was ok, a property relatively new, a style based on a music theme. Location was very good to our purpose. The place is defintely not a 4 star.

If you've ever wondered what it feels like to check into a hotel and immediately question every decision you've made in life, allow me to introduce you to the Aiden Austin City Hotel—a place so dark, dirty, and depressing it should come with its own emotional support hotline. Walking into my room felt like stepping into a moody indie film, except without the artistic merit. Or the lighting. Or the cleanliness. Honestly, I'm still not sure who this hotel is for. Goths? Vampires? People who enjoy paying premium prices for the ambiance of a forgotten roadside motel? Because let's be real: this should be renamed the Aiden Austin Suburb Motel, and even that feels generous. The décor says “urban chic,” but the execution says “we gave up halfway through and never looked back.” The vibe is so bleak I half expected a raccoon in a trench coat to offer me a cigarette and life advice. Now, to be fair—and I mean really digging deep here—the front desk staff were incredibly nice. Like, suspiciously nice. Nice enough that I wondered if they knew what I was about to walk into and were trying to soften the blow. But beyond that? I can't find a single nice thing to say. Not one. And I tried. Hard. In short: wildly overpriced, weirdly gloomy, and confusing on a spiritual level. Stay here if you want an existential crisis included with your room key.

There are some nice things about this hotel, but there are some bad things also. In the suite, the couch was so hard I almost gave myself a concussion on the armrest. Water pressure in one of the bathrooms was terrible. They were no Texas shaped pancakes as advertised in the restaurant. You also eat with paper plates and plastic plastic knives and forks. The wading pool was freezing it turned on my toddlers, lips blue. The artwork is lovely and the bed was good. It's in a nice quiet location.

Quirky, eclectic updated motel. Rooms are spacious with updated vinyl flooring, remodeled bathrooms, comfortable beds, large TV, fridge, microwave, safe, and stocked Keurig coffee maker. There is a decent lobby area, well equipped fitness room, pool, spa as well as laundry facilities. The staff was very nice and helpful. Your basic 3 star breakfast is included. NOTE: Room selection is everything here. I'd suggest paying for a courtyard view or a room 2nd or 3rd floor room on the back. I originally had a 1st floor room in the rear of the hotel that felt like a prison due to the fencing providing security to the exterior entrance doors. The rooms in the front of the building face the highway, so there is a lot of street noise.

This is a great hotel. They have remodeled an old motor inn with outside doors. They have created a structure around it that has locks and security, so you can't get access to the rooms without a key card, so it is safe. The decor is fun and very creative. Kids would enjoy it. The pool looks great although I didn't try it. Free parking, and the location is great. You can go down Oltorf to get to central Austin, and get on I-35 to get to north or south Austin. The only place that will take some time to get to is Northwest Austin. The free breakfast was good including hot items. They also have an Asian restaurant there, which looked great but I didn't try it. Next to 7-Eleven and gas station with easy access. Also close to Starbucks and Denny's. For the price, this is a great little Austin gem. I will be returning.

Great stay, friendly staff, clean room, clean facilities, furniture and beds in great condition! Very close to downtown Austin. Free parking, nice breakfast, good variety of foods mostly premade foods. Large pool, not heated, and a large hot tub that needs repairs - most of the jets no functioning- but it was hot.

The experience started with a run in with the very unpleasant front desk manager on check in, and his total indifference to my every concern while there. His attitude ruined my stay in what would have been a somewhat decent facility

My 2 granddaughters and I had a great trip to Austin. Aiden Austin was perfect for us. Great location. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds with nice bedding, and a great pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of options. The free coffee machine in the lobby was a welcome treat. The only warning I would give to travelers is that the floors are a bit thin so you might request a top floor if you are a light sleeper.

This was an absolutely fantastic stay at the Aiden Austin Hotel! Rooms are super clean, free breakfast, great, what's most important, the staff! Leslie was absolutely so amazing to arrange a terrific room and location, Raul manager at the front desk, is equally fantastic! Female with 17 YO daughter, one-night stay - Travel personal for a college campus visit. Vibe is definitely different. Front desk person was very cordial and helpful. Appears rooms had been updated but very odd/musty unpleasant odor - making the room "feel" old and unclean. Elevator was super small....we just used the stairs to the 3rd floor after the first use. Felt uneasy with safety. Getting to the lobby from indoors was strange and not just a quick trip down the stairs/elevator. Considered moving but we arrived late in the day and nonrefundable. The hotel is right off I-35 and I thought it may be noisy - our room did not face I-35 and the a/c did drown out noise.

Great breakfast, nice pool, and incredibly friendly and helpful service. Location is convenient as well, short drive to South Congress and downtown.

Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and helpful-from check in, to the night crew, to the breakfast crew and even the restaurant that made me a delicious bubble tea at checkout. It is nice and clean with a nice pool area. We especially want to thank the night crew for being so helpful, having such a good attitude and overall exceeding our expectations.

We always get a clean, comfortable room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area is roomy and selection is great.. Restaurant serves fresh sushi. Lounge attached so we don't need to drive anywhere for dinner or drinks.

To start off, the moment we checked in, the front desk agent reeked of smoke and a failed attempt of covering it up with cologne. He also had the audacity to ask why we were there, within earshot of other guests checking in. Imagine had we been here for circumstances we wished to keep private. We explained it was just a quick weekend getaway to see animals and museums…and instead of keeping his judgements to himself, he thought he should share his disappointment that we had visited an aquarium before checking in. Imagine how my 7 year old felt when I explained what was being implied. Unnecessary and unwarranted. We were put on the first floor next to an exit door, ice maker and the housekeeping quarters. With the poor quality of this place, we heard it ALL. The upstairs guests trampled around at all hours of the night, guesses let the exit door slam each and every time and the housekeeping staff, including the manager or maintenance guy, were up at 7, slamming trashcans and cleaning supplies around with zero care that there could be sleeping guests literally next door. Not to mention, our door had about a 1/4 gap all the way around it that light shown through and the sorriest excuse for a lock. I had to secure it with towels while we slept to help lessen the slamming of the exit door and help dampen the noise level. Now I remember why I don't stay at Best Westerns and will refuse to going forward. I'm utterly confused how this place has the positive reviews does. The name “Aiden” and tacky rebrand to evoke an edgy Austin-vibe doesn't disguise that this place is a 1-star quality motel at best.

Stayed for 3 nights. Friendly front desk staff, beautiful and relaxing pool/spa area and quirky boutique feel make this a unique motel experience. Unfortunately, the enjoyment was lessened by a room that was very humid and moldy-smelling. All of our clothes, towels and swimsuits remained moist the entire stay. Also, there is NO sprinkler system in the rooms in case of fire. That is a huge hazard, regardless of this being a non-smoking motel. Our stay was nice and quiet. We did enjoy ourselves but hope that the Aiden will look at these issues and correct.

From the front desk personnel Raul, cleanliness and comfort of the room, to the swimming pool, to the drinks at the restaurant was A one perfect! We will definitely be back! The only thing is, don't eat at the restaurant. Too over priced for mediocre sushi. We know good sushi and this definitely did not hit at all. We actually felt cheated. Hotel stay 💯 %, restaurant 0!

The hotel was clean. The staff I would describe as ultramodern. The facilities had a unique vibe I would describe as funky and leaning onto the uniqueness of Austin as a city. The location was great. Within a ten minutes drive from lots of restaurants and stores. The pool was a good size and overall clean. Breakfast was hot and robust and included. The workout room was spacious and well stocked.

Building was very clean, floors were mopped often. Even though the Aiden is on the highway access, there was no noise. The rooms were cool, clean and quiet. The pool was refreshing, the jacuzzi was hot and towels were provided. The restaurant with bar attached was convenient.

It has become the ideal location to stay for me over the last two years that I have had to travel to Austin. For the last 25 years I would always stay in the downtown area. These past two years I look forward to my stay, why? Well, the ambience, the decor of the rooms, the cordial welcome teams, the security apparatus, the pool, so many little things. The butterfly renderings on the outside, the huge ducks. My stay at the Aiden is like a home away from home. Please maintain, by the way, BUMBLE BEE, (bad ass)!

Would 100% stay here again. Clean, quiet (for a freeway hotel), with a unique atmosphere. Staff were great. Enjoyed using the pool with it's quirky vibe and abundant towels. We even ate at the attached (busy) sushi restaurant twice (it says all-you-can-eat, but you can place individual orders). Substantial breakfast with multiple proteins was included.

Really affordable price, and very clean on the outside and very bright light on the parking lot feeling secure to leave your car plus free parking. The rooms were very clean and available with all the things you need. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. Front desk people were very friendly.

The room was very clean, nice bed, and large tv screen with Netflix. My husband said this was the best fitness room he has ever been in - everything worked, towels and wipes provided, large room with a good variety of workout equipment. Best breakfast ever. Such a good variety of hot food. We will always go here when in Austin.

I had a great experience at Aiden Austin City by Best Western. The room was cozy and the beds were very comfortable, making for a restful stay. The hotel staff were friendly and the location was convenient for exploring Austin. The breakfast was good, but I would suggest adding turkey bacon or sausage as options to the menu. Also, it would be helpful if the showers provided body soap in case guests forget theirs, and having pump dispensers for hand soap would be a nice touch. Overall, a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this hotel!

The night auditor and the front desk manager were perfect !!! The housekeeping staff was so polite and courteous to everyone. The hotel staff was amazing. The room was damp feeling and had a musty smell but it served its purpose. Kudos to the employees !!!

The room was really clean with no weird smells or oders. The people at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The overall property was very nice clean and safe. We will surely stay there when we return to Austin TX.

Booked this hotel for 3 nights in Austin, I wish I hadn't. Staff was friendly at check in and there was free parking. But. Our room smelled very moldy and musty, so bad it made my throat sore. If it weren't for some air freshener we keep in our car it would have been unbearable! The bed was very saggy and broken down and the bed clothes also smelled musty! The coffee creamers in the in room coffee set up were curdled! So, no morning coffee! Management sent a text the first morning asking if all was well . I sent a text back explaining the problems all I recieved back was an automated message. No one reached out to fix anything! The breakfast was ok but very basic. It was hard to navigate coming back to the hotel because GPS kept trying to send us to an entrance that was barred by a locked gate. The hotel is on a one way street so it was very frustrating. We had to go all the way back downtown so GPS would give us useable directions. Also, there were roaches on the sidewalks outside at night which means they are in the building as well! I didn't see any in our room thank goodness, we were lucky! I will never stay there again!

Nice pool area. Early check-in was great after an excellent meal on property. The coffee needs to be better at breakfast. Like hot water with little flavor. Friendly staff from the check-in to the friendly room attendants. I love the walk to South Congress Street, which is a beautiful area to explore.

MUST READ!!! This place is awful. Our room smelt of must and we found a COCKROACH within 30 minutes of being there. We immediately left and they continued to charge a cancellation fee ($200) despite the issues. When I wanted to discuss with the general manager, DEBBIE SIMMONS, she refused to call me back after I left voicemails and sent her two emails asking her to return my call. Had to get customer relations involved for any sort of resolution, as they REFUSED to return my call as an out of stater. Totally taking advantage of an unfortunate situation. Place is a scam.

No real complaints on this hotel other than distance to downtown. It's affordable, the rooms were clean, mostly quiet, comfortable beds, etc. it's just not walkable to most attractions, so you'll need a car to get around. Some interesting art on the walls.

The art deco and atmosphere of the entire hotel was amazing! The bed was super comfy, and our room was very quiet. I slept so well. The morning breakfast was delicious. I loved all the options including almond/lactose free milk offered. How considerate?!

Fluffy pillows. Good coffee. Nice variety at breakfast. Texas shaped waffles ? great service! Close to downtown. Personality all throughout the hotel. Great fitness equipment in the fitness center. Hammock and hot tub!! What's not to like??

Great staff, awesome food at the connected all you can eat sushi restaurant, and they have a spectacular free breakfast between 7-9AM. My fiancé & I have stayed there twice now, both times were tremendous. M Weather was for crap, so the pool and hot tub weren't really an option - so we had a John & Yoko style bed-in, watching great movies, listening to music, that you couldn't really hear outside the door, so great soundproofing for a hotel, because we had it loud. We got engaged there this trip. I'm gonna have to be staying there next week with my daughter, in a double bed option, as I'm hopefully getting my flooring done in my house, now that it's time. The lobby is VERY nice, and the perfect place to do her homework this next week, which I have to help her on. It's in a weird location is the only qualm, but being slightly off the beaten path. It's safe, had to meet DoorDash at the lobby, because the rooms are totally inaccessible from the outside, if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floor. You should totally stay here if you need a staycation, are coming here from out of town, the people are friendly and will bend over backwards to make things right for you. I will stay here over and again. Location is exactly halfway between my house, and downtown, where my daughter needs to catch the train to class. It's spartan, but perfect for that cozy feel, without being cramped - there was enough room to dance.

I rarely write reviews but felt the need to give a shout out to this place! I had an excellent stay here for 2 nights. The staff was so kind and pleasant. The bed was sooo comfortable and the rooms were clean. This place had the best vibe! Highly recommend. Breakfast was great. All the positive things! :)

Service! I was met with smiles and made to feel comfortable. The lobby was unique and so comfortable to relax and work in. Attached restaurant was delicious with more great service. Breakfast was yummy and very much appreciated. I would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Aiden. The location was so convenientand the building was just quirky enough. The whole hotel was very clean and the staff was all so helpful. The beds were comfy and the TV has an option to cast via a Chromecast, so we had access to all our regular shows. My 6 year old and I thoroughly enjoyed playing foosball in lobby. Included breakfast was good mix of basics but each day had either waffle makers or a pancake machine, again the the delight of our 6 year old. According to my husband, the coffee, especially in the lobby, was really good.

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. Its always a very pleasant welcoming experience every time. This hotel is well maintained. Excellent housekeeping, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. They're always updating and adding nice touches for the overall guest experience. Lovely ourtyard pool area. Fitness center and convenient business center just off the lobby. Very popular restaurant specializing in sushi on site. Full bar for all your favorite adult beverages. Convenient complimentary off street parking for all guests. Modern decor and all the usual in room amenities. Reasonable prices throughout the year. Just off Interstate 35 and near all downtown Austin attractions. Highly recommended!

The towels are nice and thick. Everything worked well, including the refrigerator had a working can holder in the door. The touchpad for the key entry was instantaneous and work every time. It may not mean much to you. But I seem to always find hotels that the card reader takes multiple attempts before it opens. Joseph at reception gave us a great welcoming. This was followed up by a phone call about shortly after setting up in the room asking if everything was okay. The decoration was fun and a bit unusual. Making this a unique experience. Some pretty cool and unique bedside lamps. A great combination of function and art. Breakfast was one of the better ones that we experience on the road. They have a pancake machine that cooks fresh pancakes for you. There was an attendant there to make sure all was running smoothly.

The pillows are the fluffiest! The fridge kept drinks the coldest. The water in the shower was the moistest! I had an extra delicious stay in Austin and I am the surest that I would stay at The Aiden again and againest! I wouldn't recommend the breakfast, but the make-your-own Texas shaped waffles are a no-brainer. And sneaking some milk and cereal or yogurt to the room for a late night snack is a good idea, too. More importantly, countless fun things to do and places to go are less than 10 minutes away.

The hot tub only half of the jets work and the pool is not heated so it's ice water this time of year and dirty the beds were OK but not the cleanest.

I liked the location and the price was good, breakfast very good and service as well. The decoration on point, Pop art, musician. I did not tried the dinner restaurant but will do next time. I probably would come back in the future, I recommend this place for a comfy nice stay.

We came in for a conference. From checking in to breakfast to checking out, everyone was friendly, eager to help! We saw staff cleaning the outside railing on the walkway, showing attention to detail tells me that the employees that work there care about their job and where they work. The hotel, our room and restaurant was very clean.

We had a fantastic experience at Aiden by Best Western Austin. The front desk attendant was very friendly and knowledgeable and the amenities were terrific. The Machi Sushi restaurant was great for all you can eat sushi which we had for lunch one day. I also had a drink at the bar and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast there as well. We didn't use the fitness room or pool area but they were both nicely maintained and nice amenities to have. We'd highly recommend Aiden to guests visiting the Austin area.

Courteous staff, from the front desk to housekeeping. Clean room. Secure premises. Very good hot breakfast buffet. Easy check in/out. Plenty of parking. Reasonable price. They were good before the upgrade a few years ago, but I enjoyed them even more with the refresh. We would definitely return.

Extremely nice and comfortable room. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast (free!) was excellent - I even let myself have a waffle (better than any I've ever had!). I did not eat at the sushi restaurant as I wanted Tex Mex every night, but it looked good and had a big crowd. The gym was better than most hotel gyms and the pool would be great in warmer temps. Would definitely stay here again!

The beds are very comfy, easy access to main road ways and property is very secure. Breakfast was hot and good variety. It is away from the business of down town but only a short 2-3 min drive to where all the action happens. Clubs, pubs and shopping.

Holy Cow I love this place. The beds were comfortable, the decor was precious, the breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast we've ever had hands down. We had forgotten our toothpaste and the front desk was super generous to give us some toothpaste. It's in a great location to some of Austin's popular attractions. We will be staying here next time we are in Austin for sure!

Loved this hotel so unique and quirky. Excellent staff on front desk. Everything was pristine and well cared for. Amazing pool area. Rooms had really cool wallpaper and general sense of happiness around the place! Can't wait to return in May 2025!

Everything was way better than I expected. I guess because it was one of the affordable places, I just didn't expect everything to be as great as it was. I've been disappointed with hotels before and I was pleasantly surprised this time. The location, service, breakfast and especially the price was perfect. We will be back.

Hotel exceeded our expectations. Staff were very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great, absolutely no complaints. Will definitely be our go to When visiting Austin. Hotel Management made our stay very easy at check in/check out.

The check in staff was so nice and helpful, even when I checked out the other guy was super nice. The breakfast was great, hot at 8:30 and still had a bunch of food left. The room was amazing, cute and comfortable, bathroom was nice, everything was really clean, but the pillows were actually kind of flat and small for us.

Raul the team member who welcomed me that afternoon was very excited to have as customer on the other side of the counter. He called me by first name and me for being Platinum Member. The hotel is in an excellent location if are anticipating a stay in Austin.

Loved the funky decor, and especially the Free parking. The room was very clean and peaceful. All you can eat fresh sushi restaurant attached. Breakfast included:standard stuff. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Only issue was a faint musty smell. But I think all the positives outweigh that.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aiden Austin. We were visiting a nearby music venue and chose this location. Hotel staff were very friendly, checked us in early and even gave us a recommendation on a local brewery to enjoy before our show. The hotel room was clean and the property felt very safe, a key card is needed to access all gates around the property. Good location overall and would definitely come back to stay here when visiting the area.

We were really pleased with this hotel! During our 3 night stay, the staff was great -super helpful and always cheerful. They have many more free breakfast items than most hotels of this level-with staff actually standing and serving the eggs and bacon. Our room was very clean. Best of all was the location: just minutes from all of Austin's attractions: LBJ Library, bat viewing at Capitol Bridge, Lady Bird Wildflower Center, SOCO shopping and dining area, next to the freeway to easily get to the State Capitol and the Rainey Street. We highly recommend!

First off security check. Second was everything clean double check and third honestly hands down. From front desk to housekeeping they all rocked. We picked this place for location and funky attitude and all the boxes got checked. Stay here and be happy.

With such a range of choice for accommodation for our first visit to Austin we chose this hotel and we were so glad that we did. The hotel and facilities are great. Plenty of options for breakfast during our stay. We were able to walk to South Congress to see live music and go to restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool area was quiet and relaxing. Really do recommend staying here. A perfect visit to a wonderful destination.

The decor of the hotel had a wonderful hipster music vibe. The room was clean and the beds were super comfy. As a senior I found this hotel almost magical as I loved the funky decor. Staff were great, check on us on our stay, free hot and delicious breakfast. We didn't dine at the Japanese but I heard it was great….next time!

This hotel is awesome and front desk is always on point. Breakfast is great for continental and sushi restaurant is exceptional at night. I stay here everytime just because they make you feel at home and do except pets if you have one of those.

The pool is great and I love that ALL the rooms are dog friendly and we were able to travel with our furbaby on a whim. There is a new sushi restaurant that looked amazing but the wait was long since it was their soft opening and obviously had lots of community support and interest. We will definately be back and LOVE the Aiden line of Besty's.

Your hotel has an aura that lends itself to comfort and pleasantries Just as the main lobby is a multi layered plethora of “we're so glad you're staying with us.” Your unique architecture and paint scheme to art pieces and the poolside giant ducks make a visitor feel at home. MAINTAIN!

Came for Fantastic Fest 2024. Very quiet, clean, and great value. Not far from cool spots downtown, very nice staff. Had an issue with the door lock sticking, they fixed it immediately. Would definitely stay again when Im in the area. Thank you!

I recently stayed at The Aiden in Austin and had an outstanding experience. Despite a last-minute request for a late checkout, the staff was incredibly accommodating, which made my stay even more relaxing. The hotel's decor captures the vibrant spirit of Austin, making you feel like you're truly part of the local community. One of the highlights was the hammock by the hot tub—it made for an incredibly enjoyable evening, adding a unique and cozy touch to the experience. Always enjoy my stays at the Aiden. It's my favorite hotel in Austin. Love the peace & quiet, the quirky music theme and well-appointed room. Close enough to South Congress shopping and restaurants without getting too close! Austin has always been a favorite destination.

Relaxing and quirky courtyard with a pool, hot tub, and other surprises. Good breakfast at the excellent sushi bar (attached). Chris at the front desk was beyond helpful. The lobby has foosball! The only minus was cricket season, but they can't do much about swarms.

This hotel right off I35 exceeded my expectations. It had a very nice but somewhat eclectically furnished room. Nice lounge area with Foodball table and adjacent connected sushi restaurant and bar. Extremely close to St. Edwards University so ideal for any sports or other school events.

Best hotel in Austin!! Went to Austin for my daughter's birthday, and I'm so glad we chose Aiden!! The front desk clerk Chris, was extremely nice and informative and gave us a recommendation to the best bbq spot we've ever been to!! The rooms were clean and fun with different colors and prints all around. We will definitely be back for all our future Austin trips.

Loved our stay!! Very cute, very Austin music scene decor throughout the property and the rooms were nice and clean! The beds were so comfortable! We loved the pool area. Not your typical budget friendly hotel pool. It was very resort like and hard to believe but also quiet despite being so close to I35. My son was so excited to see it was 8ft deep as he is 6 ft tall. The great breakfast was also a plus! We will definitely be back on our next stay in Austin?

This hotel is my favorite! From the fun decor and pool area to the extremely comfortable beds. You can't go wrong with this place. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is on point. You won't want for anything with this place. I have a kid at UT, so this is my go to place when I visit him. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes and your downtown.And…. The breakfast bar is by far the best I've seen.

We stayed here for a few days while helping our daughter move in to her dorm at UT Austin. The hotel and pool was very clean and well-maintained and the beds in our room were quite comfortable. It was extremely hot during our stay, averaging 107 degrees, so we used the pool every day. The fitness center was a notch above most, with plenty of cardio equipment and weights. I worked out there every morning before enjoying the hot breakfast buffet, which was extensive. The Texas-shaped waffles were my favorite! My only criticism was the coffee from the machine. The coffee I made for myself from the Keurig in our room was better. On our last night there, the sushi restaurant attached to the hotel had a soft open, and we decided to try it. They had an all-you-can-eat option on the menu and we were skeptical about finding good sushi in Texas. We were pleasantly surprised to find the quality of the food was excellent. The location of the hotel is convenient if you have a car. It's right off of I-35, only minutes from South Congress and downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. We plan to be back often to visit our daughter, and we'll make this place our home base.

This is a nice hotel. It's not a cookie cutter hotel. It's a little different but we liked it. The wallpaper had the faces of different famous Texans. There is also a Bumblebee transformer out front. It was clean, comfortable and the customer service we received was great. Plus, free breakfast and parking. I would stay here again.

This is my second experience at a Best Western in the past few months and I think the general trend is that the rooms are adequate and middle of the road with some areas for improvement here and there. Aiden served as a great home base for a long weekend in Austin. The decor is cute and free breakfast is always a plus. With a rental car it was not a challenge to get to sites in downtown, East Austin or South Congress. The room did have some challenges though. The first room facing the pool area smelled of mildew. The staff were accommodating and moved us to a room inside the property. The room at first did not have any issues, but we noticed that the room was humid and damp even with the air condition on. I chalked this up to the weather in Austin at the time, but still worth noting. We also noticed some unsightly items in the room - something housekeeping could easily miss. So I don't blame the housekeeping staff but the guest who hid the item in the room. Again staff were very apologetic about the issue.

Such a cool place with so many comforts. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Love the pool area! The art and styling of the whole place is great. Just a quick uber up the highway to ACL for a concert. Had a great time! Also free parking! Sushi place opening soon on site!

Aiden Hotel! It's a winner. I took it based on reviews and I must say that the experience was even better than I hoped. Lovely, professional staff; clean, spacious accommodations; hit full breakfast complimentary; 24-hour coffee/cappuccino complimentary; great fitness center. Free grab and go water, granola bars and fruit. Best value for the money of everything I did while in Austin. Highly recommend. .

This is my 2nd time staying here and it has not disappointed! As soon as you enter your greeted with a smile the staff is very friendly, they will make sure your stay is safe and comfortable. The service is incredible, they make sure rooms are clean to a perfection!

I wanted to get away for a while and I found this place at first I was a little nervous about it because of the area but when I went in the customer service and the atmosphere blew me away I stayed for ten days and it was fantastic loved how friendly the staff was and how helpful they were with me being disabled I works recommend this place for anyone who come visit or stay in Austin and want some new time. The breakfast was really good and they have all the amenities washer, dryer fitness center pool bar and most of all free parking a great place to stay room rooms are nice soft bed very clean and if you need anything, they come really fast 10 out of 10 will be back

We've been here several times & never disappointed. Very clean & along with a friendly staff. We took our son for his 18th Birthday & he loved it. We always have a blast at the pool & hot tub. Relaxing. The free breakfast bar is the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed with our hotel stay. The first thing we noticed upon entering our room was a strong musty odor, as if the carpet was damp. The bathroom also had an unpleasant urine-like smell, suggesting it had not been thoroughly cleaned. Despite the odors, we did not request a room change since we had checked in late at night and assumed the issue would be the same elsewhere. On the positive side, the hotel had a charming, artistic ambiance and the pool was a nice amenity. The breakfast was substantial, and the staff was friendly and helpful. While the double bed was small, it was soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room cool. The hotel's location near downtown was also very convenient for our needs. Overall, the cleanliness issues detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay, though the hotel's other amenities and attributes helped make up for it to some degree.

This place would be decent as a 3 star hotel…maybe even on the lowest tier of 3.5 star hotels but as a 4 star hotel as it's listed on Priceline/expedia/all travel services — it's an absolute dumpster fire. Like how can a place so dated get itself listed on the same level as Hotel Van Zandt for example???? I tried to search all 4 star hotels in the Austin area and there isn't one worse than Aiden and it's not even close. Has anyone from best western actually stayed at a boutique hotel—- asking bc it seems like you thought boutique just meant change all the signs to comic sans font. I ended up with a room here thru an expresss deal And I feel completely ripped off.

We appreciated the attention to detail at all levels of our experience. Quiet room, nice furnishings, nice amenities, attentive service. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well. Located less than five minutes from great coffee, pastries, and migas!

The front desk person who greeted us & welcomed us to the hotel made us feel very comfortable. The front desk person gave us very helpful information to kick start our Vacation. I felt like the staff was very professional & helpful. The pool was super refreshing during the texas heat.

I stayed at this property for one night as I had a late flight and the prices of other hotels were outrageous. The room was very nicely decorated. It was pretty quiet even though I had a front facing room. I utilized the gym which was small but adequate and the pool which was nice. The property had lawn games for use which was fun and the A/C & WIFI worked well. I would recommend this property.

Pool was great a bit crowded but it is summer. The breakfast was amazing. Something for everyone and the attendant was all smiles while she loaded the bacon on. This feels like a new hotel. It's very clean. It's also very quirky which I enjoyed quite a bit. The breakfast is amazing and the hotel staff is extremely helpful. Housekeeping was really great. It's a great location not far from the airport. I would stay here again.

My niece and I only came to Austin for a concert so had a 1 night stay. We both agreed we wanted to come back. The hotel has a funky feel to it from the Bumble Bee transformer and Windmill outside to all the musical icons on the wallpaper in our room and the multiple colorful murals. The grounds are well kept and the pool and hot tub appear well maintained. Our room was on the second floor poolside and surprisingly quiet considering the hotel is right off I 35. The room was very clean and our bed was very comfortable. If you are short like me ( 5 ft 3 in), it is a fairly tall bed. I managed to get in and out though. Chris checked us in and out. He was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I had made reservations on line through the Best Western app and everything went smoothly. The location is quite close to downtown and many sights are nearby. We slept in and missed breakfast so I can't say anything about that. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here on a Wednesday night after a concert at emos and it was perfect! The check in process was super fast and easy. They gave us a map of the property and told us everything we needed to know, including where to park our car for easiest access. Everyone who helped us at the front desk were all very friendly and polite. We had a one bed queen room in the back of the hotel and we thought it was super cute. It was perfect for us. We loved the wallpaper!!! And the lamps are neat, too. Oh, and the front desk gave us water bottles as well. Breakfast was from 7-9 am and right now they're having it in one of their banquet rooms. They had the biggest selection of food I've seen at a hotel breakfast! Highly recommend. And this hotel is close by everything. A 5 minute Uber ride to emos. They have a sushi restaurant attached but it's not open just yet. They do have a bar that is open until 10 pm but we didn't get a chance to check that out.

Visited Austin a couple of times in 2023 and stayed at the Aiden the first time and another hotel the second. Should have just gone back there the second time as well but made mistake of trying a different hotel instead. The Aiden has clean rooms and super helpful staff. That's why when we visited Austin again in 2024 we didn't think twice and simply went with the tried and true experience.

Pros: - great pool area - close to downtown - breakfast included Cons: - bugs around they should spray for - restaurant was not open during our stay due to renovations - they wouldn't let us stay in the pool area past 10 even if you're not in the pool.

Interesting decor and style. I liked the free parking and attached restaurant. The food was amazing and I'd stay here again just to have a decent place to sit down and eat. The bed was decent and room was clean but a little dark. Price was good and I would stay again if the price was right.

This is a great property. When I first started staying here, it was the best value anywhere. Lately the pricing has been unpredictable and on the high side. When I can catch the pricing at the right place, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Austin. Cool vibe, comfortable rooms, and the on site bar is top notch. There is also a fresh, quality breakfast served in the morning too.

My check-in experience on 5/31/2024 at Aiden By Best Western @ Austin City Hotel was nothing short of disappointing and concerning. Due to severe weather conditions causing major flooding in Dallas, Texas, I made the difficult decision not to risk my safety by driving to Austin. When I reached out to Raul, the supervisor, to explain my situation and express my genuine concern for safety, I was met with complete disregard. Furthermore, my attempt to seek resolution through the third-party company was met with similar resistance. Yesterday, when the third-party company reached out and called Chris at the front desk, he completely denied the request and insisted that we speak to his manager, Raul, for any further assistance. This circular redirection only added to the frustration and feeling of helplessness. Raul repeatedly tried to avoid the issue by directing me to call the third-party company for a refund. However, it was evident that he still had the final say and would simply deny the request, leaving me in a frustrating and hopeless situation. It's worth noting that the third-party company was willing to approve the cancellation, but they required final approval from the hotel. Despite this, the hotel staff were uncooperative and unwilling to provide the necessary authorization. Furthermore, when I requested to speak to higher management above Raul and stated there was no one else I could speak to about my issue, my request was denied. This further compounded the feeling of being dismissed and unheard as a customer. What adds insult to injury is the discovery that other customers were refunded due to issues they had experienced. This inconsistency in treatment only exacerbates the frustration and disappointment felt by guests like myself. As a guest, I expected the hotel to prioritize the well-being of its patrons over rigid policies. However, the unwillingness to accommodate or offer alternatives left me feeling not only disappointed but also concerned about the hotel's values and priorities. In times of crisis, it's crucial for businesses to show empathy and flexibility, traits that were sorely lacking in my interaction with Raul and the hotel management. I hope this review serves as a reminder for the hotel to reevaluate its policies and prioritize the safety and well-being of its guests above all else. However, I wish I had known that the restaurant wouldn't be open; it was a big draw for me since it's still advertised as fully open on the website! It seems like it may be reopening soon, so I recommend asking the staff if it's open. Speaking of the staff, they are super attentive and very courteous. My family loved the pool and spa, and I am in love with the gym here! The equipment is all brand new and state-of-the-art: Peloton, Concept 2, you name it! Super clean as well! Our room was extremely clean, and the air conditioner kept it cool in the Texas heat! If you are still reading, the only gripes I had were about the organization of the free breakfast. The staff were great, but the layout could use some work. Everyone is thrown into one banquet room (there are three others that are empty with the doors locked), so the room fills up quickly. You are forced to leave the room, but it's hard to do because the line for food is backed up and all the tables are full. You have to weave your way through everyone eating to get out! That's not a deal-breaker for me, but I ended up not going back to the breakfast after that and just walked over to the Denny's next door. On top of that, the lobby is really fun and inviting, with foosball, an espresso and latte machine, TV, tons of workstations, and plugs everywhere! Love it! I really loved it here, and so did my family. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience, the concierge did a good job and the breakfast is the best I have ever eaten. The cleaning of the rooms is great, we forgot something in the hallway and we recovered it at the reception. the pool is clear, your vehicles are safe.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the decor is retro and cool. We loved it. The location was convenient for all of our activities around town, parking was easy, and hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. We were able to bring our small dog for a $40 pet fee, which was very reasonable. Wish we would've had more time to check out the bar and grill.

We stayed the Aiden for two nights over a recent weekend, which I picked based on previous reviews, proximity to the downtown Austin, and value. The hotel did not disappoint, the room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of secure parking, and an easy drive or Uber to nearby areas of interest. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating, and we made use of the pool and hot tub area each day. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with lots of choices, as well as Texas shaped make it your self waffles with plenty of seating. We liked the decor of the Aiden, it is definitely a unique hotel in a very good way. The attached restaurant is not serving food due to a renovation, but the bar area is open if you want to get a drink on site. We will be back!

Simple check in. Fast and friendly front desk. Knew all the ins and outs of the hotel. Went beyond to show us where to charge ev outside of property with printing a map. Room was in excellent shape hot shower water with excellent pressure. Rooms had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast in the morning with a very attentative breakfast was excellent. The sausage egg sandwich was very good. The scrambled eggs were on point and the coffee was excellent. Older property but very very well taken care of.

While the front desk staff was very nice and ultimately helpful, I will never stay at this hotel again. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a musty smell and a humid room - it felt and looked like a cave - very dark, smelly and moist. We turned on the air conditioner and left for a few hours, hoping that airing it out would help. Upon our return, nothing and changed. When we contacted the front desk, they offered to switch our room. However, the new room clearly had the same problem. It was damp, but instead of smelling musty, it smelled of very strong air freshener that was clearly meant to disguise the mildewy smell. We ended up sleeping there, and when we showered in the morning, the whole room fogged up. We left in the morning to go out and explore and the thought of spending another night there was too much for us. We decided that we needed to book another hotel. Thankfully, we were refunded for this night. Despite the friendliness of the staff, I will NEVER go back to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Read ALL reviews carefully, not just the good ones... I=Maybe there are nice rooms here, but the two we tried were horrible...

The rooms were comfortable and we really enjoyed the breakfasts and the pool area. When we had an offsite event cancelled, the staff really worked with us to quickly set up an alternative at the hotel. They were so accommodating. We had a great time at the Aiden!

We arrived in Austin only to have our hotel that we originally booked cancel on us last second. So we booked here and the staff was very friendly. The room was perfect. We are glad our previous hotel canceled on us.!

We stayed at the Aiden for a girls trip and absolutely loved it! The breakfast was good with a variety of goodies including texas shaped waffles. We felt safe there traveling just as two females. The hotel room was clean and Raul at the front desk was really helpful with check in and any questions we had about the surrounding area. It's a quirky hotel with a nice pool to lay out at as well. Free parking was definitely a plus and it was close to everything. Would highly recommend!

I booked several rooms for ourselves and family's & guests coming in for our son's wedding.The whole establishment was clean. The breakfast had the largest variety of options available. Food was excellent. Although I don't have them, it was nice to see you even thought about those who had gluten or lactose allergies. Staff was the most helpful and polite I've ever experienced in my years of travelling.

I travel constantly on business, and the Aiden is my go-to, very favorite hotel. Look forward to every trip to Austin ... The staff feels like family. This visit, I happened to catch a congregation of '41 Plymouths (and near kin) and their owners at the hotel. Never know what you'll find in ATX!

Front desk staff exceeded my expectations. Housekeeping was also outstanding. Pool area was clean and included pool towels. Good location for easy accessibility to South Austin. Parking lot was well lit and has enough spaces. Breakfast food was good, and breakfast staff was eager to please.

Beware - check everything in your room when you arrive. I didn't and there was no hairdryer. I had no reason to use it so never noticed. After checking out a strange charge came through and when I questioned it they told me the hairdryer was missing from my room. My word didn't matter and the charge has not been reversed. Worse of all is to be accused of stealing something.. never in my life. Otherwise the hotel was nice but wouldn't recommend staying there without a vehicle as everything is far away.

Very nice boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Very clean. Rooms were spacious and nicely updated. Great themed decorations throughout the site. Pool area is especially cool! Grill/bar was closed for renovation but breakfast buffet was provided in one of the conference rooms.

The only thing, I have found a kind of a black grasshopper on my bed when I came bak from breakfast, so I am not sure if that insect stayed w/me all night long… I do not like those animals!

Great stay, staff was super helpful when checking in. Pool area and hot tub were perfect for our 3 young boys. Perfect unique stay compared to other chains. Restaurant was under construction but they utilized the banquet room for breakfast, which worked great. Area was great for downtown access.

Had a great time here. Was in town for a race at CotA. I went to Franklin Barbeque saturday and the race sunday. This place was not far from anything I wanted to do. The property is quirky. I enjoyed the vibes here. The hotel is clean and classy. The room was great. Everything i needed was here.

We stopped at this hotel because it was in the suburbs. Hotel is just off I35. The hotel was clean and attractive. The rooms were nice and everything was in working order. Breakfast was very good. A lot of choices and the food was hot. Our experience was good. The only problem we had was getting a taxi to downtown. It took over an hour to get the taxi. Seems there is a lack of taxis in Austin as Uber has taken over.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My wife appreciated the makeup remover wipes since she forgot to bring them. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. Bed very comfortable and very nice pillows. Very pleasant stay!!! Thank you!

Beds are so comfortable it was sleeping in my own bed! Room was nice and cool when we went in. Loved the newly remodeled bathroom. Only complaint I have is that we didn't stay longer. Rose (front desk lady) was very helpful very nice lady. Only hotel we stay at when we travel to Austin.

Hotel is fabulous! So safe! It is gated with interior rooms, a great pool and grounds. It is a large spread out newly remodeled place. We will stay here when we are in Austin. The only drawback is it is not well lighted. Ask for a room near the exit doors for easy entry and exit.

Loved the art decor and ambience of the hotel. The staff was really friendly. The inner courtyard and pool was fun and loved the layout and decorations. Very.clean , quaint, nicely arranged comfortably not too small hotel. . Perfectly located. The breakfast was fresh and complete, great oatmeal.and very friendly atmosphere. . The pool area is so relaxing. The price was perfect and dog friendly, easy access to everything.

The front clerk was awesome. Helping us with concert we were attending. He asked if we already had pre parking and I told him yes. He said if I didn't an Uber would be better than parking away from the venue and trying to walk there. He was very helpful

Everything was great from start to finish. Check in with the breeze, the staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a one-page list of things to do in Austin. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!

We had booked another hotel that was not up to standard. Aiden was wonderful and made Austin a great experience. The room was comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed the fun vibe of the hotel and it had a good location on top of everything else. Would stay again for sure!

Everything was nice but beware the surrounding area of the hotel and even inside had a cricket problem. Room kinda small but enough for 1 person and bathrooms are very clean. I would stay again regardless.

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice amenities and exceedingly helpful and friendly staff. If you are mobility impaired, get a room close to the restaurant for the great free breakfast. The facilities are large and somewhat broken up. I would definitely stay again

Perfect location and extremely convenient for a tourist trip to Austin. The staff is incredibly kind and accomodating, allowing for early check-in. They quickly provided a missing bar of soap when we called the front desk. We espcially enjoyed the variety and quality of the free breakfast. For example, the gluten free muffins were standout items that cannot be found at most other restaurants.

Everything was cozy and clean. The front desk staff is very friendly and gave us some good advise and recommendations. The only thing was the elevators are real small. just enough to fit 3 people with luggage, and they're also outside so they're not air conditioned. Which is not a big deal since it's just a few seconds ride.

Amazing hotel experience! The hotel as a nice Texas pop vibe and Mr. Raul at the lobby was great! Always asked if my stay was going well and if anything was needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, yet simple. Breakfast was simple and the amenities were great in the room. If you're going to Austin, this is a great place to stay. Will come again in the future.

Booked via BW for 135 AAA rate. Check in was OK if a bit cold. I was barely thanked for being a platinum member. The lobby is quircky and modern, in line with the other funky competitors (like Moxy). The room itself was a refurbished BW room, with super cool wall paper with TX artists (Joplin, ZZ top, etc...) the usual LCD TV, a nice comfie chair, work station. They have a nice pool area, jacuzzi, with hamacs, and chairs. The gym is somewhat spartiate. One reason i booked here was i needed a EV charging station and they have a few on premise, one for handicaped and the other for all other guests... not great. They do offer free breakfast but i needed to leave early os i got a very basic breakfast bag with an apple, a granola bar and a bottle of water...better than nothing.

Loved the entire vibe of the hotel. We stayed in a king suite and it was wonderful! The bedding was super comfortable and the room was extremely spacious. The area was easy to get around by using Uber. Pool area was super cute and the breakfast buffet was very good. All staff were nice and helpful.

Would highly recommend this hotel. I felt completely safe, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were all polite and competent. The location is extremely convenient too - about 10 minutes from the airport, and easy to get to.

My favorite part was the view to the pool. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I enjoy that there is a restaurant attached to the hotel, makes it more convenient just to relax without having to leave the hotel. Te pool looked nice and well maintained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Will recommend to others and hope to be back very soon.

For this type room price should be a little cheaper , but I understand why cause it's near the airport . Friendly staff ,quiet place , clean place , traffic around not bad at all , appears safe , good breakfast .

The hotel was very nicely decorated and had an amazing breakfast! Wish they had double queens, but we made the double beds work with our family of 4. Was nice to have a restaurant on site so we didn't have to fight traffic on a Friday night Do wish the pool would have been a bit more sparkling-we did not use this amenity. Overall, great stay for where we needed to be.

Everyone was very nice. We had a quick checkin, they have very clean rooms with soft pillows! We always stay here when we come to Austin, We love Opals divine restaurant also, and there is a free breakfast every am. I highly recommend this hotel

The hotel is nice with a clean swimming pool with lounging chairs and tables. The rooms are clean. The bed is soft and the pillows are perfect. Breakfast is great, buffet style with good options and waffles.

This was a great property at a good value. The breakfast was hot and fresh and with a nice variety of options. The pool area was really nice and the fitness center was one of the best I have seen at any similarly priced hotel. The location was good and the price was a good value for the area and the property itself. My only complaint would be that some of the rooms are more of an old school doors on the outside type of room. Ours was on the inside though and our room was great. Our friends were expecting a bigger bed and I guess had one of the older rooms. Over all though we were all satisfied and would stay here again. Oh, almost forgot...super comfy pillows...that matters!

The staff called me soon after arriving to make sure everything was good and I got a text the next morning to see how my first night went. All the staff was plesant and accomodating. I got a king suite and they didnt advertise there were two bathrooms in there which made it even better suited for my family's stay. They even had tub mats you can use, which I love for the older and younger in the family. My son forgot his toothbrush and they had a complimentry one instead of having to go out and buy one. The pool was cute and 8ft.. we loved it! Overall 10 in the experience!!

This has been our family's favorite Best Western property. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The property was nice, and our room was cute. My kids loved the pool area, and they had towels available. You must always be armed with a room key! I went to go get everyone from the pool, and they had taken both room keys. I then got stuck and unable to return to the hall where my room was or the pool. The kind front desk gave me another key since I had just checked in. Breakfast was great also. The location was a short drive away from where we wanted to go. There was a close 7 11 which we walked to for an icee since it was so hot. They also had a foosball game. This was our kind of hotel.

Loved the cool Austin styling, the pool area, location, and the price was a very good value. The staff allowed me to switch rooms for my second night. The room on the first night had a non-working refrigerator and there was a loud creaking spot on the floor of the room above me.

This place was awesome from the service, to the hotel ammenities comfortable bed and close distance to all the fun things you would want to do when you go to Austin. This is our go to when we return for our next visit to Austin!

Love the place, very welcomeing. Clean rooms and facilities. Room coffee maker and coffee selections are awesome. Breakfast had it all and it wasn't your tipical continental breakfast. Just a minor adjustment on the coffee machines, they will only fill cup half way. Will definitely come back.

Love this hotel! So far it's my favorite. The beds are so comfy. I get adequate solid sleep everytime I stay here. The breakfast selection is huge! Great customer service. Beautiful atmosphere. Fooseball in the lobby. Clean rooms and property. Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub area are an awesome addition. Haven't tried the gym yet.. I'll have to check it out next time. You won't regret staying here

Great from the booking forward. Loved the room - clean and what we needed. They are not large rooms but adequate. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby area with a fancy coffee machine which was appreciated. Live music in the restaurant Thursday. Great burgers - friendly staff in the bar. The breakfast was great - breakfast burritos which is a nice touch . The sausage , biscuits and gravy were tasty. Able to walk in 10 minutes to SoCo which we loved . Never used our car- made it to SoCo, 6 th St and Rainy .

My family stayed 4 nights while we visited Austin for a short vacation. The hotel is nicely situated for exploring different parts of the city. It's a nice property, very clean, with fun decorations that go along with the music and mural themes of Austin. Although weather wasn't good for us to use, the pool and courtyard area seemed very inviting. Front desk manager was very helpful and always greeted with a smile.

For the price we paid, it was a really great experience. Place is modern, warm and vibrant compared to other Best Western hotels. Coffee station in the reception 24h and in your room. Hot breakfast served in a very nice resto. Onsite bar and restaurant. Place is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! It feels like a smaller version of Embassy suites. Highly recommend Aiden BW!

**PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT** BED BUG INFESTATION @ Aiden By Best Western @ Austin City Hotel • 2200 S I H 35, Austin, TX 78704 • (512) 444-0561 I have filed a report with Austin Health Department. I filed a claim with their corporate office, and I have filed a claim with BBB. DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager, Raul Torres, is denying my report of infestation. I booked Dec 10 - Dec 11 2022 - Room 202. I noticed a scent in the room. I wasn't sure what it was. My friend and I arrived late. I did a brief check. The bedsheets smelled clean but the room had a stentch. We had been out all day traveling so we were tired. I didn't ask for a different room. In the morning upon waking, I could not stand the smell. It smells like bacon, syrup, and ammonia. It's a very strong odor. I inspected the bed again and found two small blood stains on the sheets. I called the front desk immediately and spoke to the manager, Raul, and we packed-up and checked-out. I explained the details to the manager and he said he would have his staff check-out the room. We arrived back to Houston on Sunday late afternoon. Aiden by Best Western is the ONLY place we stayed on Saturday to Sunday. I have missed a full day and a half days of work to ensure that I wash everything and disinfect many of my items before fumigation can come over. I called the manager, Raul, yesterday (Dec. 14) to advise of the issue after noticing the bites on our bodies. He wasn't available. I was told he would call me today (Dec 15). Nothing. I had to call to follow-up. The manager denied having found any infestation. He denied finding blood stains on the sheets! This is a huge disappointment; denial and avoidance of responsibility. If you've ever had to deal with bed bugs in your lifetime, you will know that a room with such a stentch isn't from a new infestation. This is a problem.

Very happy with the cleanliness of this hotel throughout the facility. The staff are awesome, friendly and very helpful with making sure they give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, I love the pillows! So nice and soft. The restaurant next to it was great and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

We had planned a weekend in Austin and wanted a hotel that was not too far from the airport, yet also close to SoCo and all the fun activities. The Aiden was just that! The room was clean and spacious, and check-in was a breeze. During our stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking, so we never had to worry about our rental. I'd recommend staying there.

Probably the best service I've ever had at a hotel. Loved the Austin twist they had with the decor. The room was very spacious as well. Not at all what I was expecting from a best western. About a 5 minute drive to downtown

We had a suite with 2 bathrooms which was a bonus we weren't aware of until arrival. The service was outstanding and the entire staff was thorough, friendly and helpful. Loved the location. The reason I couldn't rate this a five is due to the "infrastructure"; too many levels, stairs and difficulties getting to and from places, ie. to the breakfast room & parking lot. Also we had an outside room which wouldn't have been so bad except for the night the trash collectors noisily emptied the dumpster at 3 or 4 a.m. HOWEVER, Austin is a kitschy town and this hotel fits that bill. Highly recommend.

First time back at the Aiden Hotel by Best Western since the pandemic. WOW!!! It's just like I remember it, and still the best place to stay in Austin. Been staying at this well known hotel for years. Nice hip eclectic music city decor that makes you feel right at home in Austin, Texas. Comfortable rooms and beds with all the amenities you have come to enjoy in upscale hotels. Beautiful pool and courtyard area for relaxing. Business and fitness center. Popular restaurant and cocktail lounge on site. Nice complimentary breakfast for all guests. Hotel is conveniently located near all major Austin business and tourist destinations and sites. Lots of convenient complimentary off street parking. Outstanding management and staff at all levels that provide exceptional Texas friendly service. Reasonable room rates. Highly recommend!!!

I'm trying to figure out what exactly I paid over 200$ a night for. The good, is it really is a cool, fun, different interior. The breakfast had a nice selection of foods to choose from, believe on our two day stay there was 5 different hot foods. Outside of that, the mattress definitely needed changed out, the middle was so sunken in. You can hear, EVERYTHING the people around you and definitely above you do!! It makes for a poor nights sleep when everytime somebody walks or flushes the toilets. Location wise isn't terrible, it was easy for us to get places, but not wall. Neat, not worth anywhere near the money for us, we'll choose another BW next time.

Trip Advisor led me astray on this one. Presents itself as an update boutique/hipster hotel but aside from the signage, it's a barely renovated highway motel. Room was dark, had a weird smell, no wall light switch (very strange), and virtually no decor. It would be a perfectly fine $90 hotel. But for the $200+ they routinely ask for, more aesthetic effort should have been made. Location isn't amazing either (nothing very walkable nearby, next to highway). The free breakfast was standard motel food. One morning there was no fruit. Coffee un-drinkable. The saving grace was the staff: super friendly, helpful, always around. Pay a tiny bit more for a reliable chain or a place downtown.

Eli and Rose were amazing employees! There were others who were just as awesome however, I didn't get their names. The room was great! I liked the text that was sent prior to my arrival and the phone call after I was in my room to ask if my room was okay. The room was great! The hotel restaurant and bar was great! Overall a great experience!

Great refurbished hotel with a Texas theme fitting for Austin. Very pet friendly policies and staff. They even gave us water for my dog. Overall great stay, will definitely choose this hotel again. Property is maintained very well.

The hotel has very comfortable and cute accommodations, with safe and plentiful parking, delicious food next door, along with very eye pleasing grounds... from beautiful plants everywhere, wooden walk ways, and great wheelchair accessibility. The staff is courteous and professional. The room was clean with a cold refrigerator and good AC. My only personal complaint about the room was that the sink was not located in the bathroom. The location is perfectly situated for driving to downtown or SoCo area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aiden in Austin. I had never been to Austin and we were there for a concert. The room was clean, the complementary breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. We would definitely stay at the Aiden again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Austin.

We booked this last minute for a night in Austin. This was about $50+ more expensive than another Best Western in Austin about 6 miles away but saw the great reviews and was in good proximity to SOCO. Check-in was quick and easy. We were told there were no king beds so we took the two singles (which we get as it being last minute). The room was quirky and fun as far as decor goes. The room was clean. The water pressure was pretty low in our room. Shower flow was ok but pressure sub-par. We also had to flush the toilet twice in order for it to flush anything down. Not all of the doors leading to courtyard rooms required key use (even though it had the card reader) so people without a room key could walk into the area by our room. Not sure if the door locks were broken or just not armed. The gardeners started working in courtyard right by our room at a little after 7am and you could hear blowers and/or trimmers. This was annoying as we are on vacation and would have liked to have the option to sleep in. We got up and checked out. We took the grab and go breakfast as opposed to having hot breakfast. I cannot comment on how the breakfast is but I am sure it is good as Best Western usually has a pretty decent breakfast. The grab and go was an apple, small water and granola bar and the date on the sticker was from 2 days prior. I would not stay here again, there are better options in the area that are less expensive.

Stayed at the Best Western by Aiden this weekend for a work trip and would highly recommend. Very nice folks here running the place and super clean rooms and restaurants. Will definitely book here next time.

This is the second time in a month we have stayed here and it was great both time. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a great breakfast. We also loved how close to downtown we were to downtown.

The pillows were amazing! Hospitality from everyone I encountered was great. Breakfast was great! The fridge had a strong odor of garlic or something very strong but only used to store a water bottle. Overall very pleased.

It was clean outside and in my room. Front desk staff and housekeeping was very pleasant. Love the to go bags with water and snack for everyone and free breakfast was so good. Nice atmosphere would stay again for sure.

We absolutely love Hotel Aiden and try our best to stay here each time we visit Austin. The staff are always so friendly and personal, rooms clean, and it is a great location. Highly recommend! The pool is also awesome!

Everything was exceptionally clean including the lobby, pool and sauna and the workout room! Due to Covid precautions you have to tell the desk if you want your room cleaned every day and we did and they did an excellent job of cleaning.

If I could, I would give this place a 5 star review, AND a 1 star review. First, the good. This is a cool, super kitschy ‘old school' hotel. The people were super friendly, and everything was smooth.The rate was less than half of what was being charged a few blocks over. Good breakfast in the morning, with lots of choices for coffee, etc. It is very conveniently located. Other than peak hours, it is less than a $10.00 Uber ride to S. Congress. Rooms were very clean, and seemed to have been recently upgraded. The bad: On the last night, my son and I stopped and had a few drinks. At one point, I bought a round for the 8 people at the bar. For some reason, the bartender only poured shots, ignoring the people who weren't drinking shots (including me), and even poured one ‘extra,' which he drank himself. So far, so good. Then, I went back to the room to go to bed. After I left, the bartender came up to my son several times, complaining about the size of the tips I left. That's bad enough, but it wasn't true. I tipped him with every round. Was it 20%, 30%, I don't know. I typically tip AT LEAST 20%, and my son pointed out that there was still a stack of cash on the bar for him. I don't know, maybe I ‘undertipped' him, but that would be very unusual for me. All in all, the whole experience was very off-putting, and basically ran my son out of the bar. I'll stay here again, but won't go back to Opal Devine's.

We managed to get into the Aiden after we arrived in Austin and saw the condition of the original hotel we booked. It was a lifesaver! We were tired from traveling and unfamiliar with the area hotels. They were able to accommodate us immediately. It is a great location just moments away from downtown and close to everything we wanted to see. It was clean,quiet and had great amenities (pool, breakfast, hot tub, on site restaurant). The mattress was new and was more comfortable than my own at home! But ultimately it was the staff who made the difference: Greg, Chris, Raul and Rose all appreciated our situation, got us settled and made sure we had all we needed. Even after we checked out but had to return due to an airport closure, they were sympathetic, helpful and got us back into our room. I can not say enough wonderful things about them or the cleaning staff. This is a terrific, affordable place, The only negative (out of the staff control) is really low water pressure in the shower. The free breakfast had a nice variety and they offer take away bags of water, granola bar and fruit. We highly recommend it!

Hotel check in staff was very nice made checking in quick. The breakfast had a great selection and the lobby was clean. Rooms are decorated with a musical vibe and the pool area has good sights for pictures.

We stayed there prior to an early morning flight. The courtyard with the pool is very nice. The room and beds are comfortable and the ac was cold. They had grab bag breakfast for travelers with early flights (minimal but appreciated). My daughter who also stayed there but didn't have an early flight said the breakfast was good.

All staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. I don't remember their names but every time I had a question or concern it was handled in a friendly and professional manner. Hotel was very clean, well decorated without any gym locker room smell that most hotels have. The attached restaurant Opal Divine's was a great bonus to our stay. Service was great and food was quality. Free breakfast buffet in the morning was perfect! We WILL stay here again!

This will now be my go to hotel for Austin! This was my 2nd time staying here but this time I actually used the gym & pool. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was decent. The room was very clean and they have many things available for you in the front desk. I lost my bag on the trip with all my toiletries. They were able to provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant and more!

Upon arrival, staff was courteous and welcoming. They even called to check if our room met our satisfaction. We loved the decor that definitely gave Austin vibes. Room was clean. Breakfast was perfect for us. Will book this hotel again!

I've had the pleasure of staying at some of the most prestigious hotels in the US. My search started in the middle of chaos. The original hotel I booked was HORRIBLE! I had my elderly mother with me and we had driven from Shreveport. I couldn't subject her to the riff raff I was witnessing. So in a panic in front of this garbage motel, I pulled up Hotels.com put in my filters....and Aiden was one of my choices. There were a few better priced ones, however, I realized, you get what you pay for. Aiden had a very high rating- compared to the other top hotels, so I chose Aiden. I'm sooooooo glad I did. I promise I wo t stay anywhere else when I visit Austin. The front desk, the hotel workers, the restaurant all superb! The ambiance was simply amazing. Thank you so much for providing such awesome customer service!!!

My daughter and I came to Austin for the vegan dining experience. Austin did not disappoint!!!! It was full of great options and a lot of things to keep us busy between meals. Aiden by Best Western was not only a great location but the hotel itself was perfect for us. It was quiet and clean. The hot tub was a bonus. The only negative I would say is the breakfast had only apples and bananas that my daughter could eat, no other vegan options. One of our favorite vegan stops, Bouldin Creek Cafe, was just 10 mins away. This hotel has free parking which was a great plus for the area and close many local attractions. Would stay here again when we come back to Austin.

In the a.m. Chris was kind enough to let me have another 1/2 before check out time. So, many thanks to all - and a lovely, clean & well-appointed establishment! Only note of criticism would be directed at the dumpster trash collection service. 2:30am…at a hotel. May want to renegotiate/rethink that scheduled pick up time? Eh? This is a really a great Hotel with Excellent amenities. My adult daughter and I had a great time at the pool. We were able to order a beer from the bar and enjoy outside next tp the pool. Save this hotel for your next visit. You are going to love it.

This hotel is awesome. Everybody is so nice. The location is perfect : Close to South Congress. Nice pool. Quiet at night. Free parking. The grill attached has excellent food. Will definitely be back.

They have a roach problem. First night we were there was greeted by a huge roach in the bathroom. I informed the front desk and they moved me to another room. We get into another room then go out for the night. We come back in around 2am only to find 2 more roaches in the bathroom. We inform the front desk again and asked if we wanted to move to another room for the third time !!! We were exhausted and just requested to speak to the manager in which we were told he comes in at 10a. Next morning we get to the desk at 1030 and told the manager comes in at 11a so we leave a name and # so he can contact us. Around 1120a he never calls so we go back up to the hotel only to be greeted by a rude manager named Raul. He informed us he couldn't give us a full refund cause we still stayed in the hotel after the 2nd roach incident..... it was 2am !!! He insisted they don't have a roach problem and it's cause of the heat. I'd say 2 different rooms and 3 different roaches... you got a problem. I'm pretty sure health code is against roaches. It's extremely unhealthy and disgusting.

On the last morning, we found a big cockroach crawling around the room. Took pictures to prove it. We went to the front desk and asked for a refund as this is unacceptable. The lady at the front desk noted it down and told us that the manager will contact us about whether a refund would be possible. We have waited patiently for one week and have not heard anything. My conclusion is that the cockroach problem is not taken seriously and we as customers are not taken seriously. This was the first time I personally have ever experienced something like that in all my travels. If this is how management „cares“ about cockroaches in guestrooms, then I don‘t want to imagine how the kitchen looks like..

My parents flew from Munich to Austin for the first time and they have loved their stay. The stuff did a great job mind made their visit smooth, welcomed and friendly! Glad I booked this place for my parents on their first visit!

We booked this on Priceline as a mystery deal. We were supposed to get a 4 star downtown. This establishment, while perfect for what it actually is, is NOT a 4 star hotel- nor is it downtown. With exterior doors and a somewhat sketchy location, I would consider them 2.5 stars at best. Priceline will not correct their error- so buyer beware on that. If you are a 2.5 star motel kinda traveler, I would highly recommend this place. The halls and rooms had a weird smell, but they were clean. And staff was very pleasant. They clearly value customer service! Request the top floor away from entrances. We heard every step our upstairs neighbors took the entire trip. Walls are thin!!! Avoid the 7/11 next door. We went twice- once to grab milk, once to fill up the rental car. We were approached by homeless for money both times. We were also approached at the intersection by 7/11 every time we stopped at the red light.

The hotel has been renovated and is nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is great and you have quick access to eating, shopping, and recreation. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast was delicious.

Regular sized swimming pool with deep end. Great for family. Rooms are ok really like a motel six. I only stay here when I travel with the kids because of the pool. No room service. Restaurant is onsite but not kid friendly. Do t book room 101 if you want sleep. Close to the door and people slamming it ALL night long. Also beds are only doubles.

We went to Austin specifically to see the bats and celebrate my birthday. This location was close to all the things we went there to do. Spending my birthday with my children and watching the bat show was a great time.

Room mattress is firm, pillows are too soft. hotel is nice, clean, hip and cute. The room fridge is large, great for keeping drinks cold. tv is small. Lobby has a Mexican hot chocolate machine! Loved the texas waffles. Staff was welcoming & responsive. Location- it's a little bit too close to I-35, make sure you room is not facing the highway! It's near to a lot of TexMex restaurants, like Matt's ElRancho. It's convenient to get to the South Congress ave tourist area & the central east Austin restaurant area. Starbucks and 7-11 are across the street. Parking is free, which I heard is hard to find. Easy to get to the airport.

First time ever at an Aiden Best Western and loved it! Front staff on checkin was very welcoming and helpful (unlike some other brand hotels we had been in previously), so it was very refreshing! I think Greg helped us, so kudos to him! Chris at checkout was also very helpful, and over the phone when I called the front desk from the room. I really loved the facility - cool, hip and Austin-ish, room was very clean , comfortable, inner courtyard overlooking the pool, good, safe parking (area felt safe), nice hot complimentary breakfast (pre-made breakfast burritos, etc.) and waffles made to order ; good SIGNAGE of where things were was also appreciated. One laundry washer and one dryer on 1st floor. Upon checkin, we received a coupon for free appetizer from the restaurant downstairs; unfortunately we weren't around enough to use it. Will definitely stay at an Aiden BW again! Kudos BW!

In town for a quick work trip. Loved the eclectic and fun decor, great accomodations, and friendly staff. I love my coffee and enjoyed having a k-cup brewer in room plus some fantastic free options in the lobby. Must try the Abuela's Mexican hot chocolaten

Cute boutique hotel. Had easy access to I-35 on and off. Laundry and hot tub were great amenities. Evan was a great bartender at Opal Divine's Austin Grill. Fast and easy free breakfast with made to order Texas-shaped waffles! We had lunch and dinner...food seemed pre-made and reheated, but was fast. All waitstaff were friendly and did a great job. Hotel was very 420 friendly.

Super cute boutique style hotel with a lot of warmth. Very trendy with upgraded amenities, great lounge areas, selfie booth, great dining area/bar, pool, and hot tub, with so much to do there you don't have to leave. Great location just minutes from south congress and about 10 minutes to downtown. I will stay here again!

This place is in the perfect spot to have some really expensive nice dinners, or the cheapest dinners, so many places to eat. It seems like there's a park every 2miles in every direction. The kids had a blast. Even just driving thru the neighborhoods was nice lots of beautiful homes.

This place is awesome! Great location, quiet, clean with super cool staff. The complimentary breakfast was awesome in the adjacent restaurant - and it wasn't doughnuts, apples and coffee… large selection of items and breakfast “cooked to order” as well. Staff was so friendly and professional! The location rocks as well - easy access and good neighborhood! We found a winner here! I'll definitely be back!!

My wife & I arrived at Aiden in the middle of the night and Greig - the front office staff - was extremely courteous, friendly, helpful & professional! He answered a zillion questions we had and made us feel welcome. We had a good experience with the front office staff overall. The complimentary hot breakfast was good. The only downside is that for patrons on an extended stay, it becomes very repetitive. A little variety would help. Also, we were on the 3rd floor & the water pressure in the shower was inadequate. But these are small shortcomings. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely patronize the hotel when we visit Austin next!!

The location being so closed to all the happening downtown locations, the great affordability, fantastic bar, cool pool, and soothing hot tub were all amazing parts of our Easter Weekend vacation. Something we appreciated greatly was the list of fun interesting local restaurants and places that the hotel concierge provided for us upon arrival to really spark our vacation off and fill in any blanks in our plan.

Very polite staff & proximal to freeway. This is not a walkable area but you have convenience for ride share or commute by car. Needs more modern amenities, enjoyed stay overall but it definitely came off as an economy hotel. Price came out to just over $200 per night with taxes & fees.

This is the hotel that was way beyond what was expected. The staff and decor decor were fantastic! Great amenities in the room and the breakfast that was included was beyond expectations as well. An additional fun surprise was the coffee maker in the lounge and the fun Foosball table. Every one we met was helpful and hospitable. Highly recommend for girls weekend getaway or a work trip if you sadly have to work whilst you are in Austin

We were on a road trip from Alberta, Canada and decided to spend a few days in Austin. I read the reviews on Tripadvisor and most were good so decided to try it. This place is awesome. It is a boutique hotel in the classic sense. It is an older building completely redone. Clean, organized and just plain fun. The front desk staff are amazing and the restaurant is a great place to grab a meal. It is a bit tricky to get into off the freeway but worth the effort. Hopefully we will return some day.

Came to town and had an issue from the 3rd party booking. Raul helped so much and was so kind. He was very on point and tentative with our needs. A great stay and a decent location. Thank you for everything

Aiden turned out to be the perfect place for a family meet up! There was plenty of seating throughout the lounge areas, floor to ceiling mirrors great for picture taking, a foozeball game perfect for the kids and great food from the restaurant. We couldn't have asked for more! The room was very clean and comfortable (love the bedside lamp) and plenty of bathrooms throughout the hallways which came in handy. Loved the hammock although we didn't get to use it during this stay. If I'm ever in the Austin area again, I'll be staying at Aiden for sure!! Oh and the breakfast was top notch considering COVID restrictions. You guys really went above and beyond to provide a decent, HOT breakfast with everything individually wrapped for convenience and safety. Thank you for making our trip to Austin so memorable.

This was one of the worst hotels that I've stayed at in quite some time. It's completely misleading because Expedia told me that I was getting a 4 star hotel but instead I got a run down motel that had a face lift 3 years ago and Best Western is charging for the face lift by giving it a fun name and capitalizing on the fact that this is Austin. The staff was outstanding though. I was given a room in the back of the parking lot that smelled of mildew and I couldn't stay in there and they graciously switched me to a better room almost immediately. I was only staying one night and leaving very early the next morning so it served its purpose but overall the positive reviews on various platforms don't paint the true picture of what you get for your money.

i'm completely confused by the glowing reviews about this place. what are you basing this on?? THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL AS IT ADVERTISES. there is something fishy going on with the way it is advertised. this place is basically a motel with some 'fun' decor slapped on. my room was cramped and clearly super old. it was noisy because the room faced the pool and i could hear people coming up and down the metal stairs all night long. if you would like help imagining what it is like- think of a motel or the average apartment complex where all the doors face outward. that is what this place looks like. there is NO WAY this should have a 4 star rating. i have stayed at so many 4 star places and across the board the similarities are- spaciousness, newness (even if it is an older property, the room looks new), high end decor and in-room amenities like shampoo and coffeemaker. this place just completely does not measure up. i absolutely hated it and even now a year later i am thinking about how much i hated it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Aiden Best Western! Front desk staff was extremely cordial and helpful, especially Eli, the evening person, who helped this find and move to a different room. Free breakfast was plentiful and flavorful, and the ladies that ran it we're very cordial and polite and worked very hard to make sure we were happy. I would definitely stay there again

He was very personable, professional and helpful. Breakfast amazing and completely pandemic conscious. I will definitely be staying at this hotel when I go to Austin from now on. The staff was very nice. The room were clean, and I loved the decor. Opal Divines is a good restaurant on site. There's a gas station right next door. The location is really convenient. We easily got downtown without having to get on the highway.

Exactly as advertised. Nice place, great amenities and will be at least half the price of downtown hotels. Easy access to downtown by going to Congress or 1St street without getting on 35. Breakfast included and restaurant and bar on site. I recommend it!

While researching hotels to stay in Austin the Aiden kept peaking my interest with its music theme. The hotel staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was great but I would suggest booking a courtyard view room because the noise of the interstate is quite loud. Great location.

We had a great stay! The room was very comfortable and extremely clean! Jose checked us in and was amazing. He went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay! The hotel is centrally located and has free parking and free hot breakfast, both great pluses. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay close to downtown Austin!

The hotel is quaint, but the service is wonderful. They actually have the best included breakfast I've ever had included with a hotel stay. They also checked a few times if things were going well. And chris at the front desk helped me receive a fax with paperwork I needed to travel with. Great service!

This hotel was great, fun chic vibe with music/wallpaper and decor. The lobby had foseball and the which was fun on down time. We didn't swim in the pool, it is nice sized and there is a nice large jacuzzi with a hammock near it to relax. The gym has quality equipment like a pelaton cycle bike/different cardio stuff and great lifting and stretching equipment. The hotel room was nice, updated, very clean and smelled good and fresh. Really cute decor. The bed was a bit hard but I like that, everything was spotless. No, there was not housekeeping but I believe it was available if you asked. I'm used to that since Covid. I requested extra pillows and a blanket and they were brought to me in individual clean bags. I was really impressed with the way the staff worked hard at those small things. Shower pressure was great, there's a small fridge and microwave and a desk. Location was right off the freeway and 5 min drive to south congress area. The restaurant bar was great. Breakfast was so so, had a good variety of eggs, burritos, biscuits, fruit- the food quality wasn't the greatest but I'm kind of a foodie and appreciate fresh food. Nice that they have free, hot breakfast though! I will return here, great deal and fun little spot.

The guy who checked me in (Sadly can not recall his name) was amazing. Really took the time to get to know me. Best customer service I've had in a long time. I was checking in after my apartment caught on fire. so he was a refreshing end to an otherwise crappy day.

The room was ready early! The check in staff was so welcoming and very informative. I even received a call from the front desk to make sure everything was up to my standard andi if I needed anything! The room was very clean! If I am in the area again will definitely plan to stay here!

My beautiful wife and I have stayed here twice with our daughter (who is a French bulldog). The place is always clean and nice, and very comfortable. It's close to downtown, is priced very reasonably, and has plenty of amenities close by. Highly recommend!

Great location, very close to downtown Austin and Cidercade. The room was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and we had a great view on New Year's Eve - watched the fireworks from our window. Parking is free, but the entrance is not gated (make sure you do not leave your valuables in the car, just in case). Definitely going back next time we are in Austin.

What a great staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone is friendly. Chris even remembered us from 2 years ago, that really adds to the ambiance that is already super cool. Lulu in Opal Divine is an awesome bartender. The food is fantastic. The location to Congress is perfect. It's a straight drive through cute houses and flats. This is definitely our go-to spot.

Eli at check in was fantastic, made sure I had everything requested! The room was clean and all the other staff was friendly. It was convenient having Starbucks and a gas station within walking distance! The restaurant attached to the hotel was great as well! Awesome staff and yummy food. Didn't get a chance to get out the the pool or hot tub but it looked relaxing from the view! Hope to make it my regular spot when visiting Austin!

This place sucks! Unless, you don't mind being in crammed spaces, as though you're a hamster… Customer service at the front desk needs major improvement. It's obvious they hate their miserable jobs and it shows in their attitudes. When I called the hotel to book a reservation, I spoke with Raul; he was very professional. This hotel looks like a 1960's apartment complex, converted into a bunch of little rooms; and I do mean “little” rooms; borderline-claustrophobia-little. The hallway “lighting” is poor and their parking lots are “slanted”. If the person parked beside you doesn't hold their vehicle door, ding! Ding! Ding! The topper - they don't serve breakfast until 0700 hrs. What about those of us whom “begin” work at 0700? Almost all BW hotels serve breakfast @ 0700 hrs.. This hotel has a “grab and go” consisting of a generic bottled water, an apple and a flattened granola bar. Thank heavens for 7-Eleven, across the street. I'll stay at Motel 6 before I stay here again.

I was duped into staying here by Priceline's app. This is NOT a 4 star hotel. This isn't any closer to the airport as other similar motels. Just like any other motel, the staff is aloof, property photos "catfished" and place isn't particularly clean or pleasant. It's a run of the mill cheap motel with a fresh coat of paint. If you really-really need to stay near the airport, stay at a motel with motel pricing. Not a motel with luxury hotel pricing. Otherwise, just stay a hotel downtown and spend the extra 8 mins on the road to have a clean, proper service and appropriately described and priced experience.

Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed. Great location for where we needed to go. Stayed 5 nights and used many of their facilities. My son loved the gym. It had everything he needed. I personally loved the pool and hot tub!!! Such a great location in the middle which gave us privacy. Breakfast every morning helped out so much. There was a nice variety of foods too. I needed to wash clothes and the laundry room was close and easy to use. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we needed directions or advice. I can't say enough how enjoyable this hotel was, and like I said earlier….SO CLEAN!!!!! Highly recommend and will stay again. Thank you Best Western!

The recently renovated Aiden is a friendly, well staffed, clean hotel with plenty of amenities. Pool, hot tub, restaurant, breakfast, baggage service, probably more? I didn't ask. it's located just south of downtown Austin and a few miles from AUS. Props.

Good location for Austin, close to the freeway and other attractions, restaurants, the Capitol, downtown and reasonably price for the hotel, clean facilities and nice staff. Joseph was a nice staff member.

Our stay was problem free. The only thing we had an issue with was the cleanliness of the room. The floor clearly hadn't been washed or vacuumed in quite a while and there was a lot of dust. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. That was what kept happy in the end. They do have a late checkout option for only $25 and that was great.

Upon early arrival our room was ready way before check in!! My sister arrived a few hours later and she had a reservation issue due to the 3 rd party seller. Joseph went above and beyond to resolve her issue with very little stress. THANK YOU !

This hotel is overpriced. Best way to explain is one step above a motel 6 and was basically the same price as the Marriott. If I would've known the quality I would've spent $50 more at the Marriott downtown.

Over priced for a room that has rust on bathroom hinges, ants and crickets in the room and constant loud noice due to door being directly in front of the parking lot on the first floor. I could constantly hear people walk by, cars coming and going and headlights through the window.

I stay here every time I'm in Austin. For business or pleasure. I also I have a colleague stay here as well. The front desk always recognizes me and as my favorite room. The breakfast is free and one of the best and the city. The mattresses are comfortable, and the room is always spotless and smells clean. Highly recommended six minutes away from Congress

Overall great value. I'm very big with customer service and they didn't let me down - very accommodating & friendly! This was in every dept., management, housekeeping, custodial, and restaurant. The pool was great; water temperature perfect, clean, lots of towels, and perfect water levels.

We had stayed here before so booked again when we were coming back to Austin. Check in was easy, they were very accommodating with my need for a late check out. I booked a King suite and was thrilled to see it was two separate rooms, each with their own bathroom. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, all amenities were provided. The breakfast was tasty - my kids were impressed with the Texas shaped waffles! We'd definitely stay here again!

This is our 2nd stay at an Aiden Inn and we loved both hotels. The pool area and pool were wonderful. Breakfast was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely look for Aiden Inns to stay at in the future.

Really liked this hotel a whole lot! Great customer service. The complementary breakfast, water, and coffee was just icing on the cake. And, when I chose the Aiden, I didn't realize it was only a couple of miles from nearly every where we wanted to go, including SOCO South Congress.

Checked in this past Friday and stayed through Sunday afternoon. Check in process was quick and easy, parking is free and plentiful. I was asked if I had a preference on what floor and side of the complex I'd like, thought that was nice. I was given a map of the hotel grounds and nearby area and was instructed on where to park to be closest to the entrance/elevator to our room. Not much else was provided, no information on how they're managing housekeeping, room service, or amenities aside from the pool but I figured I'd call with any questions after I settled in. As we walked in, went up the elevator to the 3rd floor, and down the long hallway to our room, we noticed that the hallways were rather warm and smelled like cigarettes and other things. My daughter even made a comment about the hallway smelling like skunk. After settling in, I got a call from the front desk checking in to make sure I had no needs or questions, my opportunity to ask any questions had come so questions I did ask. The staff on our second day wasn't as attentive, we had a need for additional towels after using the pool and it took a call and a visit to the front desk after waiting longer than 30-45 minutes. They eventually came but definitely not as quickly as I'm accustomed to. Breakfast is free and served until 9:30. Usual fare, eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, cold cereals, fruit, juices, etc. One thing to note, the coffee was absolutely terrible. I'd suggest you brew one of the free K-cups in the room before heading down. If you're leaning towards booking this hotel for the free breakfast, don't. Plenty of taco trucks nearby serving up amazing breakfast tacos at an affordable price. Location is definitely a plus, well geographically at least. $10 Uber/Lyft ride one way to SoCo. On our first night back from dinner, we drove past the Conoco nearby and there were a ton of first responders there. Next morning, checked the local news sites and saw someone had died there the night before. Hotel grounds felt safe but the immediate area surrounding it did seem a bit sketchy at night. Rooms are a bit small as are the bathrooms. Overall had a decent stay but I think I'll be sticking to the bigger hotel chains closer to where all the shops/restaurants are located.

Had a great stay at this location.. rooms were clean and comfortable.. staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great also.. love the Keurig in every room. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again :-)

My entire experience was awesome! Fast check-in easy check out! A lot of amenities! The room was fantastic & being a creative the décor was the BOMB!!! Can we say the bed was heaven!!! Like I really wanted the Chair & lamp out of my room! The location was perfect to where I needed to be, the Bar & Grill that is attached was totally awesome! It's also close to some wonderful restaurants! I will definitely be back!

Rooms are very small. Pool was very cloudy, the towels were out and it Is smaller than it looks in the pictures. Room was generally clean but hotel is showing it's age. The price was ok and would probably be best for just a couple not families or multiple people sharing a room.

For the price I expect to be able to take a hot shower. The response from front desk was they were at capacity. I have stayed at less expensive hotels and haven't had to leave without a shower. They offered a late checkout until 1:00. He said he would give it to us at no charge, lol. Didn't help, water was still cold. This hotel is close to my son's apartment so it is convenient but I think I will look for a different one for the next visit.

Outstanding customer service through out the hotel, the front desk people also the breakfast serves where prompt and friendly. We will recommend to family and friends. We plan more trips to Austin and plan to stay here.

I recently relocated to Houston from west Texas. I stopped by Austin for a couple nights and booked a room since I had a few days before my move-in date. Some how, I lost something extremely valuable and important for my work and livelihood. I thought I was finished. This would've ultimately costed me upwards in the high six figures. I was absolutely distraught, after looking everywhere, retracing every step in Austin... I accepted that I dropped the ball and it's going to cost me big time. I've never felt felt so hopeless. I asked the front desk staff if anyone found and returned any lost items matching mine, they were sad to tell me no... it was over for me. The next day, right as I was about to check out and head to Houston... I received a phone call from the front desk informing me that one of the staff members, Scottie, found it and I can come pick it up anytime. Scottie found it, returned it, and I love him for it. I couldn't be more grateful for this man. He saved everything I had spent years working on. I can't wait to get back to Austin and when I do I will be booking another week at this location. On top of that, everything about the hospitality, the staff, and how accommodating they are was 5 out of 5 for me. The room was perfect, they're puppy friendly, and overall, wonderful people in my opinion. I'll be back again for sure. Thanks Scottie!

Great location, right off 35 and 1 mile from SOCO. The drive to Congress is through a nice area with cute bungalows, very safe area, short drive to the Congress bridge to see the bats, you can park at the park area right before the bridge. Good pizza at Home Slice on Congress, eat at the shaded patio in the back with free parking at the church next door to it. Loved the pool area, lots of shade and cute vibe, like a nice apartment complex. The halls smelled a little weird but the rooms were very clean, very comfortable beds and pillows and good customer service. Ask for a room on the 3rd floor away from the highway as the noise can be loud. Due to covid, you marked on a sheet what you want for breakfast and take it down to the restaurant. The waffle was better than what I had at a 4 star hotel earlier in my trip, everything else is basic continental.

The hotel was really cute, a typical Best Western but with trendier decor. The beds were very small but very comfortable. The breakfast was the best part. They actually served a warm breakfast with choices such as bacon, sausage, waffles, eggs, and a few different cereals. There was also a coffee machine in the lobby which we discovered had an amazing mocha coffee.

The hotel was well-appointed and very nice for the budget range, but a fight broke out just outside my room. The staff told me that people get drunk and belligerent Friday nights - but like this?! The Fairmont was the same price for the night ($250) and far safer.

While on the freeway, this hotel just a couple of blocks from Big Stacy park and lovely walking trails. An easy walk to South Congress. Great fun Austin centric decor. Quiet. And, guess who all the Texas musicians are depicted on the wall paper.

Very disappointed of this hotel. It is rated as a 4 stars hotel, and I do not understand how. I would not give it not even 4 stars. This first room we got we had to change because as soon as we opened the door it smell terribly, cigar. Even thought at the reception, the rude lady who helped me was clear about the not smoking policy on the hotel. The rooms are dated, the beds are very uncomfortable, The housekeeping ladies were very nice and polite, but the reception people were horrible. I came with my family and I really regret it. For what I paid I would had stay in nice really 4 stars hotel.

Great value for the price. Got what I needed and the place was very clean. Close enough to pretty much anything that I would want to see in Austin. Service was great and would definitively recommend this place.

The trip was good and the Aiden was a good place to stay, a little further from downtown than expected but easy to get off and on the highways. The breakfast was just lackluster though. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is excellent! Very inviting atmosphere, almost like a friendly apartment community. The only suggestion I'd make would be to put an ice machine on the 3rd floor to eliminate unnecessary walking.

I enjoyed this place so much! Friendly staff, clean rooms and a restaurant/bar connected to the hotel! The location was so convenient as well. I loved the style and decor, those lamps are amazing!This was a getaway alone for me so I appreciated that no one bothered me. I received a call once from housekeeping if I needed anything. The housekeeper was very nice and gave me towels and threw my trash even though I forgot to leave it outside before 10a. Thank you Aiden by Best Western, you guys rock!

I made a reservation at a nearby hotel and upon checking in, I quickly noticed the pictures as advertised was not what I saw in real life. I needed help fast! I made one simple phone call to Aiden by Best Western and Jose answered and delivered the BEST solution. Needless to say, I was there within five minutes checked in under 10 minutes and relaxing in my room a few minutes later. The nightmare was over and I was safe and sound and ready for a good nights rest!

Receptionist are very welcoming! Nice rooms ! Good wifi and breakfast. Everything is close by! I had left my watch at the hotel and they were able to send it to me via FedEx as long as I provided the label! Greatest experience ever !!! Love this place will come back thank you!

Everything is excellent! I am a travel agent so I am going to give this hotel a RAVE review! I am so impressed with the services, friendliness and cleanliness ya'll provide. Especially during COVID time. Thank you! I brought my dog and the hotel is very accommodating so that is a major plus! I give a shout to Ambassador Guest service/Front desk CHRIS who went above and beyond for me. I had to come for a family situation and the whole staff has been so understanding! Love the tiny touches of music theme! I will definitely be back to this hotel in the future travels. What you see on their website is exactly what you get! Love it!

Stayed here with my family as a get away. Hotel was amazing and very clean. Staff were very helpful as well. Great location with tons of eateries close by on south Congress. We had Guerros Tacos the first night - can't go wrong with Guerros! Hotel had a great breakfast with social distancing rules and safety practices in place.

The main reason I stayed at this hotel was because it was the closest location to downtown Austin with free parking. The hotel is super clean. It was a neat stay. We always felt safe The staff was super friendly and helpful. Now, with that said... we stayed one night. We were checking out early that morning to make a reservation at 8 am. When I turned on the shower, we had NO HOT WATER! We called the front office, and it looked like they had gotten a maintenance guy there. They attempted to resolve the issue that morning, and the water began to warm up a little before 6am, but my wife had already taken a cold shower. This is the only thing that keeps this place from a 5/5 review. Management had reached out and even refunded part of my stay. I hate the circumstance, and it did cause us to be slightly late, but I am happy that they tried their best on their end to make us happy customers. I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone in the future. Thank you for great customer service!!! I just wasn't real happy with Austin as a city. There are some cool places, but it just doesn't jive well with me. I would stay here again if the opportunity ever came up, but I doubt I'll stay the night in Austin..... The great tent migration, or whatever it is that's going on in the city is a pretty big deterrent for me.

Nice clean hotel with a bar and grill restaurant . Nice pool / patio area . Excellent breakfast plan during Covid . Only complaint room key kept not working had to get a new one more than once a day .

Lovely hotel, eclectic, the garden area where the pool and hot tub are is a relaxing garden. Opal Divines attached to the hotel has great food and service, no need to even leave the premises if you don't want to. Very enjoyable stay.

The ladies working in the restaurant for the morning breakfast rush deserve bonuses! They have to do everything for us to prepare our food due to covid and they did it quickly and pleasantly while so many of us waited in line. Thank them from us please!

We were so lucky to ride out yhe worst of Austin's winter nightmare here. Great service and staff, cozy rooms, so warm and accommodating. Loved the free Texas waffle breakfasts at Opal Devine's Thank you Alden, you have a special place in our hearts and we will gladly refer travelers to you.

Aiden is a perfect spot to call home whether a family vacation or business trip. On the edge of South Congress, it is blocks away from local shops and restaurants. The team is welcoming and the rooms unique and spacious, especially the suites! With complimentary Texas shaped waffles or biscuits and gravy, it is a true deal. And on a bike you can get to the Capital, museums and live music in minutes. They didn't miss a beat during the snow storm, and we can't wait to return!

“The owner of this Best Western is an extremely kind hearted person.” I never met her (or him) but this quote came from one of their employees who said they worked there specifically because of the owner. Our house was without power or water for 4 days in 20 degree weather and they took us in right at the beginning of this statewide emergency. They never raised their rates when they legally could've charged us SXSW rates. They even bumped us up to a suite when we had to extend our stay and didn't charge us extra. It was all about keeping us warm and safe. I've never seen such a kind hearted staff. They really helped us through a tough situation and I can't thank them enough! We couldn't use the pool or hot tub because of the ice everywhere but it looked very enticing and we will be back for a proper staycation once things warm up to normal Texas temperatures!

Had to abandon our house during the great "Snowmageddon" in Austin because had no power or water. Found the nearby Aiden who had power & put us up. The staff has been incredible & kind which we sorely needed during this very trying time. Highly recommend them & the hotel!

Heat-warming service - the employees care about your experience here! They provide a lot of information when we were stuck at Austin due to winter storm. They're super welcoming and super nice! Super clean - everything about the room was perfect; rooms are really well decorated and even soaps and shampoos are better than some of the 5 stars I stayed at. The location is really good - easy access to the highway and airport. Really reasonably priced - the front desk was going to let me get the cheap price upon stay extension vs. all the other hotels almost doubled their price due to popularity caused by winter storm. Literally so far the best hotel I've ever stayed at!

the location of the Aiden is perfect. its so easy to get really anywhere from where its perched on top of 35 and Oltorff. The back lot exits directly onto Live Oak and that gets you right into the thick of Austin itself. One minor drawback that i had was the confusion that google maps had with actually guiding me to the right location. Be sure to pay close attention to the zipcode that is showing. I wound up in a shopping center several miles north that listed a brazilian restaurant as The Aiden. Once I finally sorted that mess out, i found the front desk staff to be very helpful and understanding. During the 3 nights i stayed at the Aiden, i noticed there were a few minor gripes- one being that the vending machines dont actually accept debit or credit cards and the ATM charges a ridiculous $3.75 fee to withdraw cash should you want a late night snack or drink. One other minor complaint was overall noise level. Maybe it was just my luck but it sounded like the floor above me was a bowling alley and the room two doors down was blasting some truly awful Beyonce dance remixes. The front desk was really understanding and apologized for that noise level. They immediately moved me to a quieter room closer to the front desk. For the price, the Aiden delivers on its promises- it is conveniently located, it is pristinely clean, and the front desk is prompt and friendly. The Aiden also delivers on providing a varied and filling breakfast menu that you can either take back to your room or dine in. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows, not so much. they supply three very small pillows so be prepared to bring your own. The bathroom appointments were above average and smelled citrusy but not too fruity. I actually want to buy some for use at home. The bathroom towels were about average. More on the scratchy side than the plush side. If youre a stickler about that, bring your own. there is an on site laundry but i found a laundromat very close by with fast high capacity machines for about the same price. I found my stay at the Aiden to be better than average but just so. im feeling the pandemic really butchered the amenities that would make the Aiden an excellent stay. The restaurant that got such amazing reviews online was only open for what seemed to be about 3 hours a day. The common areas were vacant because of social distancing so the appeal of a laid back, friendly social atmosphere was non existent. I feel like the Aiden would be awesome in the summer but not really worth the money since social distancing precautions / overall noise level make everything else seem just average at best. The staff was really nice though- that alone bumps my review up one more level.

When I was looking for a place to stay in Austin surprisingly Best Western Plus got good reviews. Who knew? The location is not far from SoCo and a short under 10-minute drive to Downtown Austin. The staff was great and there is plenty of parking throughout the hotel. There is a pool and gym, both of which I did not visit. I didn't know this until checking in, but there is free breakfast in the restaurant everyday from 6:30-9:30am. A plus! You have to have the waffles because the waffle maker is in the shape of Texas. The room was clean and comes equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. Perfect because Whataburger is across the freeway. The bathroom was clean and it comes with the basic toiletries in a hotel. However, one VERY annoying thing about the location was the one way streets that surrounded the hotel. It took a while to figure it out. Even going to/from the gas station across the street took a few tries around the block. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Nice beautiful hotel with a great staff....Very nice clean room....The other guest staying were very noisy and slamming doors almost all night....Didn't get to sleep till well after 2am...But that was just rude guest...

This place is a great value for the price! It was so clean and smelled clean. The free breakfast is frozen biscuits and hashbrowns and such but it was expected due to COVID. There is a coffee machine in the lobby that has a great selection. We had several cups every day! Hotel staff is amazing! I wish there were more Aiden hotels around the US!

I stayed here for a few days while moving one of my kids close to this hotel. But the hotel is in a great area, a few miles from Lady Bird Lake, right off Rte 35, and about a mile from Congress Street. Room was clean and roomy and loved the music theme. Wifi was super fast if you need to work there. They seemed like they were taking the right types of precautions during Covid, like ordering breakfast that you could take out.

Of my weeklong trip, this was the best place I stayed at. It wasn't perfect, but I would definitely stay here again. The theme was fun, the place was clean, and the location wasn't bad. The check-in process took forever, and it had . . . um . . . been a long drive in since the last stop. Really, though, it was really inexpensive for the location, and I'd stay here again anytime. Specific Details: Comparison to others in chain: My first stay here, so unknown - similar to Best Western Plus Internet: 116/49 - excellent Breakfast: N/A, didn't have Room: Old hotel that has been very nicely remodeled. This causes small elevators, and an odd layout of the building, but who cares? Cleanliness: Above average Bed: Average Bedding: Above average Shower: A little hard to control, average pressure Water: Hard, but workable Location: Decent - on freeway, but close to downtown Noise: Road noise. Some hotel noise. Guessing it would be louder if the hotel was busier. Staff: Talkative Cost/Value: Good/inexpensive

My family loved this music themed hotel. Breakfast was nice even during this pandemic. It was really wonderful and also had hand sanitizer located throughout the hotel very convenient. Will be staying here again next trip.

We overnighted here one night on a trip to see a few state parks we have not been to. The room rate was reasonable. And the location is actually great for some of the areas nice restaurants and coffee bars. And the churro truck. We were warmly greeted a check in, which was a very quick and easy process. We were given a breakfast menu and told to complete it and they would bring food to us in the restaurant. We had all the intentions of doing that, however, in the morning we decided to sleep in and did not get to partake of that. Parking is free. The beds are very comfortable. The AC has the option to run the fan continuously, a feature I really like to keep the air circulating and provide white noise. What I found frustrating was that for a king size bed with two people they provided three pillows. That's just wholly inadequate. Also in adequate were the number of towels that they provided. We basically had two large towels for two people. It's a basic premise that a hotel should expect that a woman is going to have a towel for her body and one for her hair. If there are two people you're gonna need more than two towels. We swung by the front desk on the way back from dinner and they quickly brought a pillow to our bedroom and some extra towels. I'm glad they remedied it quickly, but this is seriously something that they should fix before customers get there. Other than that minor inconvenience, the room was clean and quiet. I'd have no problem staying here again.

Best Western Aiden was very clean. Employees were welcoming and professional. Without asking I was offered some help with luggage. Comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel in Austin Texas. I will return soon.

Literally the only hotel I've stayed in since Covid that has offered more than a muffin, bottle of water, and an apple/banana for breakfast in a brown bag. They gave me a menu checklist that you order off of, turn it in when you arrive at breakfast, and they bag it up to take with you. Good hot breakfast on the go! Very much appreciated surprise. Excellent customer service as well

From making the reservations to check out was very stress free and the staff was more than helpful. Due to the COVID pandemic, some of their polices/procedures had changed but this did not affect my stay in any way. I would recommend this hotel if staying in the Austin area!

We are a couple on a budget so when we went to visit Austin we were looking for a cheap room, but good location and good quality . best western is in a good location , not the best, but the other ones closer to downtown were much more expensive. Their check in and check out are super easy processes. Free parking and breakfast ! The breakfast is available but very limited . You have to call if you need the cleaning service . A lot of the rooms lead outside instead of being inside the building , which wasn't my favorite but it was doable . Overall I would recommend ! The value for what we paid for definitely matched up :)

The whole experience at The Aiden by Best Western just south of the river on IH 35 was wonderful from start to finish...even during this pandemic. Don't fail to have the hotel experience of a lifetime...every time you visit there.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. They followed all the guidelines during this pandemic and I HIGHLY recommend this hotel return! Great style, great comfort.. Definitely staying here on my next trip to Austin!

We reserved a king room for three nights but left after one night. Our reservation was rather last minute and we needed a hotel that allowed small pets. The staff was very nice and the room seemed clean, but don't reserve on the first floor facing the pool. The motels walls are not thick and noises from above us and outside kept us awake. This motel also had a lot of smokers and the outside area was not kept clean from cigarettes and animal waste. There was also a random broken room chair in the parking lot. They might have just been very busy and unable to clean the outside grounds. Again, the staff was very nice and I hope they can get the outside grounds maintained in the motel.

After the mandatory hurricane evacuation was ordered in Galveston, I quickly began looking for pet friendly hotels and found the Aiden. The hotel is charming and VERY clean, with a cute pool in the middle courtyard of the building. The decor is modern and the whole space feels new. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and patient- especially as they were managing all of the evacuees. My boyfriend and I agreed that we would stay at this hotel again any time we were visiting Austin.

Coming off of 14 days straight work 9 of which I was 'on call' I needed some escape to recharge. I don't live far away but everywhere in the United States feels unsafe now. The staff are putting in work to make everything as clean and safe as possible. Expectations are clearly stated and signs are posted. Mask up and keep distance everywhere but in your room, yes the hallway too. They were not crowded but that is part of the reason we came. Further nod to management that they are taking advantage of the dip in bookings to plan for the future. Painting is being done, new furniture is being placed in rooms, and the staff was courteous enough to ask permission before beginning any maintenance work that could be overheard in the room. We will be back again wether before or after we are safe to travel at large remains to be seen.
