A good value place to stay near Disneyland. Clean comfortable room, microwave, refrigerator, restaurant and pool on site, short walk to Disneyland, costs a third the price of a room at Disneyland Hotel. Starbucks and pharmacies very near by for any snacks and good coffee you want.
Great service! Accommodating and helpful. They were very welcoming and helpful at the front desk. They were working diligently to find us a room that would be suite our needs. A complimentary drink was given to us as we waited and they resolved it within minutes. Definitely would stay again!
Hotel Lulu is our favorite hotel in the Disneyland area. It is our go to hotel in Southern California. We are thrilled with the staff, location, safety, cleanliness and hospitality. It is a quick walk to Disneyland and California Disneyland. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They remember me and my son by name. The staff are so kind and gregarious. At check in they even welcome you with an adult blue lemonade cocktail for adults and an Oreo package and bottled water for our 9 year old. We were recommended this hotel years ago, and have been dedicated guests ever since. It is our home away from home at the most magical place on earth. It is the perfect location if you want to be close to the convention center or the parks. The price is great for the convenience, location, room value and amenities. Hotel Lulu has a great lobby, a restaurant on site, a little area to buy toiletries, an outdoor pool, laundry facilities and meeting rooms. Their hotel rooms are clean and updated. The beds are super comfy. The elevators have you use your room key which makes me feel safer going to my room at night. The very best part of the hotel is their spectacular staff. Hotel Lulu has the friendliest crew. Everyone is so kind, helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. Some of their front desk stand out staff are; Ramiro Jr, Alyssa, Gabby, Shannon, Dafney and Enrique. And we absolutely adore Erendira with the housekeeping staff. Hotel Lulu is lucky to have such a standout team. They are what make the hotel so magical. We truly feel so lucky to have found this gem of a hotel. We have always had a wonderful experience. We are already counting down the days until our next visit.
This is the second time we've stayed at Hotel Lulu and we have determined that this is the hotel we will be staying at for all of our future visits! The staff are so pleasant and ready to assist, and there are fun additional treats that they give to the kids and families. We haven't tried their restaurant yet but we did order dinner from their partners at Oasis where there was plenty a variety of cuisines to choose from! It was just like DoorDash/GrubHub yet we didn't have to pay for a delivery fee! And they dropped off the food well sealed in a nice bag right in front of our door. So easy and smooth as we usually prefer no-contact delivery! This location is PRIME as it is right near the convention center and down the street from the entrance of Disneyland (about a 10 minute walk or approx 1 mile) which was still convenient for us as we don't mind the walk as it's along the main street where there's stores and other hotels. This is also right next to IHOP and Walgreens and other eateries (Starbucks is a plus around the corner!). Everything we need is right there. I highly recommend this to anyone who prefers nice quality hotel rooms (beyond basic quality) with many ameneties. We've stayed at motels around the area before where it's about 2-3 star (which is not bad but pretty basic) and were suprised we had been paying just as much for those motels (if not more!) when we could have been more comfotable at Hotel Lulu!! I'm so glad we tried it and I'm hoping they'll keep to the affordable prices yet maintain the quality of the property and rooms!
I will not stay anywhere else in Anaheim when my family plans a Disneyland trip! This trip was no different. However, there were a few things that put a damper on the experience: 1) The fire alarm sounded at 2:27 am with no apparent reason, and we were told by the front desk that "it was an accident". It was a very scary incident. 2) The toilet seat was very loose and moved from side to side. It needed to be better secured to the seat frame. 3) Flushing the toilet caused a large bubbling effect that forced water up onto the seat and the floor, creating a few gross situations. 4) There was black mold growing along the grout line of the tub/shower as well as on the outside of the tub (on the wall) and around the corners upward along the wall. I find that unacceptable and a health issue. 5) There are stains on the carpet that look somewhat like oil/grease, creating a crust-like surface. 6) The down-filled pillows had an unpleasant smell to them. I ended up having to spray my cologne on them to mask the smell. 7) The cable TV service was broken making it impossible to watch TV to relax! Having stated the negatives, all in all, the rest of the room was clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the staff at LuLu are hands down my favorite. I was able to stay at the LuLu for the historical price I had been charged previously, which is also one of the perks of staying at the LuLu!
The website said a continental breakfast would be available. It did not exist. I inquired about the discrepancy at the front desk. I was thoroughly disappointed. If l known in advance l would have booked elsewhere. Otherwise the stay was great.
Everyone was so very helpful from beginning to end. The room was a perfect size for us and very comfortable. If we need anything, we call to the front desk and they were very helpful.everything was close by IHOP next-door, and Walmart in the corner very close to everything we needed.
Within walking distance of Disneyland. The employees are friendly and very helpful. They offer you a cocktail when you check in and lemon water and coffee every morning. The rooms are quiet and the beds very comfortable. I have stayed 3x and would stay in the future.
Friendly staff, clean and comfy room. Great location. The pool and the games around it were fun. Beat my son at giant chess! With an evening bar! We will be staying here again for sure! Next time we will get dinner here just had a quick Disney trip. Will be great for a longer stay for sure!
Very clean and good customer service. Will be back again. My view was perfect and i enjoyed my weekend there. You check in and they treat you very good. Very convenient and so close to disneyland. Many restaurants to choose from as well, thank you i will be back soon!
Comfy pillows, bed a little too hard. Rooms were semi quiet but could hear when the neighbors flushed the toilet. 10 minute walk to Disneyland. There's an ART bus stop just outside the hotel which is convenient. Pool was nice. Don't recommend the breakfast (which cost extra). Only a couple menu choices, not really worth the cost. Staff were friendly except for one guy at the front desk. He copped an attitude with me about my key when it was demagnitized. Take your chances. It's not horrible but could be better in some respects.
Hotel was nice and decent. We mentioned multiple time (2 back to back days) that the shelves in the room were not cleaned. There was sticky residue in it and pretty dusty. They said they would mention it to housekeeping but they never cleaned it. We finally were over it because we had a busy weekend. All they did was change the towels, and soap. House keeping didn't even refill body wash. We ran out on the last day and we barely used it which means they didn't even restock before we checked in. We stayed Thursday till Sunday. We booked it for D23 and were really happy for the location and getting to bed after a long day was really nice. Will we stay again? Probably not. Do we recommend? Only if location is important and you do not mind a little mess here and there. Quiet was decent but you could hear doors shutting and people above stomping. If you're next to the exit and washing machines you will hear noise.
This is a solid choice for convention center or Disneyland. It's not fancy, but it has a cute vibe and great prices for the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is kind. There is a Starbucks on the way to the parks which is so convenient in the early morning!
Hotel was clean and well maintained! We loved the welcome drink and cookies for the kids. The walk to Disneyland ended up being more like 15-20 minutes most days due to crowds and long stop light waits. It wasn't too bad to walk but after a long day at disney walking, it just felt a lot longer. The art bus does pick up almost right out front so that is an option as well. Overall a really great stay!
Excellent service, front desk was AMAZING always. Clean hotel, very close to Disneyland and the Toy Story Parking lot. IHOP right next to it. One of my favorite hotels in the area. Always recommend to my clients and will keep doing so. Great overall experience.
I wanted to love this hotel and had hoped we'd found our go to place for Disney vacations. Unfortunatley, not quite. The beds were comfortable and the pillows good. We appreciated the extra security of having to use keycards to access the elevator. The breakfast we had planned on was of no use to us as it didn't start until 7am and was sit down, order, and wait for your order to arrive instead of a buffet where patrons can quickly choose what they want and eat and be on their way. Had we eaten breakfast at the Lulu, we would have been considerably later arriving at Disneyland. It would seem the hotel management would realize their breakfast format doesn't work for the majority of their guests (or perhaps they do and that's how they save money). It was frustrating to feel we'd paid for something we did not get to use. The lobby was nice, and the decor cute. It's close to Disney, but still a pretty long walk (including to/from the Toy Story parking lot), especially for children at the end of a long day. While the Lulu is definitely nicer than some other hotels we've stayed at on Harbor, given that it isn't super close and breakfast doesn't work for those going to Disney, we will likely choose somewhere else to stay on our next trip.
Pretty nice hotel! A little bit of a walk to the parks but nothing crazy. Had some issues with the consistency of the ART bus stop so we ended up walking to and from the parks on most days. Rooms were clean and water pressure was better than other hotels we've stayed at nearby. They don't provide room service unless asked, which I understand, but I think they should at least come in each day and provide new towels without having to request them. Adults get courtesy cocktails upon checking in which were pretty tasty! Overall could use a few updates but definitely a good bang for your buck. A lot cheaper than the surrounding hotels for a similar quality and experience. We'd definitely stay here again!
The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and the staff were very kind and welcoming! It's walking distance to Disneyland and close to eating establishments if you're eating outside of Disneyland. The exterior of the hotel was very clean and groomed. The interior lobby was bright and open and airy.
Close enough to the Parks, we even manage to come back for a couple hours to rest, excellent complementary breakfast included on my fee. Comfy room, personal friendly all the time, love the vice of the place, nice complementary drink on arrival.
Clean place, simple, close to the park. Our keys didn't work well at all. 3 days later we replaced them and no issues since. We also had a clogged tub, but they came out and quickly resolved the issue. People at desk were nice. I would use them again.
The lobby was nice and updated, very good breakfast choices at the restaurant. Food was very delicious and fresh. The rooms were ok, they were clean but in definite need of an update to the room decor, curtains and bathroom. We enjoyed the pool and pool bar in afternoons to take a break from the parks.
Everything was great *but* the free breakfast is not the usual buffet type. You have to be seated by a host, and you have to order your food. Sorry, but this is *completely* useless for someone who wants to eat fast and run. I guess it saves the hotel money, but it does nothing for me. Don't go to the Lulu if you want a quick breakfast.
Great service and great location. Easy walk to downtown Disneyland and the parks! Highly recommend. Clean rooms, very nice showers and bathrooms too! Pool is great size and perfect for the heat wave we had while there. Nice cafe area and breakfast was good too
We arrived at 2:00 pm and they told us to return at 4:00 to check in, we returned and they did not have rooms ready, they changed my room without warning, it was very stressful for my family and for me to think that we lost the whole day and they gave us a room that was not the one I reserved
Friendly staff and great location. Room was nice as well. The 3am emergency evacuation alarm with no explanation was not as awesome as it sounds. Waking up to an evacuation in the middle of the night completely ruined our sleep and the next day we were so tired we ended up having to cancel some of our vacation plans. When we asked the hotel staff what was going on, they provided no information at all. Was there a fire? Active shooter? Carbon monoxide? Bomb threat? We will never know why our sleep was ruined.
Easy to find only a 15 minute walk from Disneyland Very clean and convenient. All staff was very friendly helpful brought us extra blankets gave us info on how to rent a electric wheelchair. Will Definitely stay again. Front desk staff went out of there way to help us with directions, to food attractions. Shopping it was all around nice place to stay
The location of the hotel was perfect for my trip. We were a short walk away from Disneyland as well as so many restaurants. The room was clean, and the microwave and fridge were very handy to have. Our room just happened to be right near the lift. Although we could hear some talking, it wasn't as bad as I expected. The only downside to the room was not being able to stream on the TV and the aircon unit being quite loud. The laundry facilities were a great service which I used. Unfortunately I didn't use the pool however the whole pool area with the outdoor games were a great option to have. Lastly, I would just like to call out how helpful the staff were especially with my request to have a late checkout at 6pm as our flight wasn't till 11.55pm. We were able to do Disneyland and then go back, pack our bags and have a shower before our flight.
Our fourth stay here and it was just great. From friendly people at check in, to Lulu the robot delivering something to our room (which delighted our granddaughter), to a really nice pool area complete with pool floats, game around the pool and the bar/cafe window that made for a really fun afternoon, the start was excellent. The room was nicely turned out and all was excellent.
It´s very close to Disneyland, so it was very comfortable for me and my girlfriend. They give you fresh water at the reception in case you arrive very exhausted from the walk. And the memorabilia that is in the hotel (lobby, rooms, corridors, elevators) make you feel already in Disney. It was a nice experience, so we definitely will be back soon... Thanks!
The beds were nice and the rooms clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. They had a place to store our stuff so we could go the park early. The place has good security. To use the elevator you must use your room key. It is a good walk to the park. Coming back after speeding all day in the park your legs feel it. The hotel does need an update but clean.
We have stated many different Good Neighbor hotels in the Disneyland area over the years and this one is by far our favorite! Since the first time we discovered Hotel Lulu we have only stayed at this hotel. My number one priority in a room is the comfort of the bed because basically that's all you need it for is to go somewhere and sleep before you get up and go at it again These beds are incredible! And the rooms are always clean and the customer service is always beyond our expectations. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Lulu whenever you visit the Disneyland resort!
Pillows and bedding were very comfortable, Staff was very friendly, but this experience some inconveniences. The tub did not drain well, and the towels were not refreshed the 1st night after the request was made. Note ! An ice machine is not available. On the plus side I was able to keep waters in the room fridge and a microwave and coffee machine are available. Bus information and Wifi information were not shared at checking. however that part was a minor inconvenience
We stayed here Friday through Sunday. And we checked in at 10:30 AM. Our three rooms for two nights were ready. That was an awesome surprise. Also, to welcome cocktails at the front desk. Another awesome surprise. Hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk staff are very very friendly. All the other employees throughout the hotel or friendly. Parking is plentiful. $30 a day. Parking In-N-Out privileges. Restaurant/lounge on site. Nice pool bar which we used. Prices of the drinks were very good for hotel pricing. Eight dollars for a Modelo draft 20 ounce. The hotel is a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute walk to the toy story lot shuttle behind hotel. I am 63 years old and an average walker. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
So welcoming! Me and my husband checked in 8/19/24 after 7 pm, the woman and man at the desk was so friendly and welcoming. Appreciated the friendly smiles after a long day. Room was great, we got a suite and we loved the layout. 2 mini fridges in the room, and the one in the bedroom surprisingly was strong enough that it froze our water bottles which was great for the park day next day. Bathroom is a little dated but works well. Beds were comfy and I love it when hotels have the in unit ac that doesn't go on standby mode when there's no movement in the room. Room was prefect temperature every time, clean and didn't hear that much traffic noise. We were by the pool area but that didn't bother us too. We'll definitely be back.
This was just a quick Disneyland getaway for an annual birthday trip with my mom and sister, as our birthdays are all close together. We all stayed at the Lulu however not in the same room. I have stayed at the Lulu previously and it is always clean and the hotel is very up to date and modern. The staff is friendly and very responsive if you have any questions. It's convenient to both the convention center and to the resort. You could either walk up to the parks or right to Toy Story parking lot to hop on a shuttle. There is an IHOP next door or Denny's right down the street if you are up late at night and hungry and the restaurant within the hotel is no longer serving. The bed is comfortable and there are ample pillows. As someone who travels alone and doesn't like to share pillows This is excellent for me. I love a bathtub when I travel because if I am at a convention I do a lot of walking and need to soak at the end of the day, this is also true if I am at Disneyland. Plenty of plugs to charge phones, charging bricks etc so you are ready for the next day. Hotel is quiet, even when I've had a room next to the elevator which was super convenient.
Spacious very helpful and kind staff. The water was always cold. Had a small ant problem but the staff took care of it as soon as possible. The shampoo is sulfate free which was very good for my hair care. Having a mini fridge and a microwave is also beneficial and there's plenty of great restaurants a short walk from the hotel. (I'm a NYer so I don't mind walking)
Loved the pillows, didn't love the bed, wish it was a lot softer. We travel twice a month; they were the best hotel pillows I've had in a long, long time. Those beds could be pillows top, like the website says, but the boyfriend shouldn't feel springs or wake with a sore back. Too hard for me as well. There was a hair in the teapot, he was going to make coffee while I was in the shower, that didn't happen… while we both talked about getting the free cocktail we did not grab one. He didn't bring his suit, so no swimming. Room was clean, decorations were nice. Thanks for having usb ports!!! Best room all summer in my opinion, minus the bed being too hard.
Thsis hotel ys close to Disneyland you can either walk or get an uber to get there. Very clean in general. We did have lroblems with the A/C, they didnt hesitate on moving us to another room in the same floor. The staff is very friendly. Defenetly I will be lloking for this hotel net time I visit Disneyland.
It was a nice clean place. We picked the hotel due to the location to Disneyland. Right next to the Toy Story parking lot. Everyone was so nice, friendly, and professional. Walking distance to restaurants and convenient stores. You do pay for parking and there is a deposit, so be prepared for that. Overall, it was great!
My stay was really good. There were a few issues the first room didn't have a working fridge and then the second room the light bulb went out in the bathroom they fixed it but the next day it went out again same time while i was in the shower so while we were at disney they replaced something and no issues again. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with everything especially Alyssa! I would love to give a huge shout out to Alyssa for being so kind and helping me with late check out and taking great care of us! Will definitely stay here again! The employees are all amazing. They also comped my parking for the issues which was an amazing help! I appreciate them! Will definitely always book here! Thank you.
The rooms were clean, the decor is cute, the bed's comfortable. I loved that they don't go into your room unless you give them permission. I also liked that the shuttle for Disneyland stopped right in front of the hotel, making it very simple to get to and back from the parks.
This was my first time staying at Hotel Lulu, and it will certainly not be my last. The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfy. I had no problem falling straight to sleep. The staff as well were all so nice and helpful. Also, the cocktail at check in was a nice touch.
Excellent clean and comfortable hotel! Close to Disney walking, the personnel are also really nice people they speak in English, Spanish and they recibe you with a smile making you feel at home. The lady that received me gave mw the opportunity to have early check in just by signing up in BW
It was a great stay as always. Just one little hiccup with an empty bodywash dispenser. It was quickly rectified with a full dispenser brought to our room. Also a great place to have breakfast before heading to the parks. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
The room was tidy, bed and pillows were perfect. Staff was warm helpful and attentive. Value was excellent compared to Airbnb 4miles away even with parking fee better deal and pool bar service chess and connect four games availability, Thanks so much Great time!
the restaurant needs better customer service , they only have 2 servers for all the tables and they also host and take orders , ring up, bring food , we waited 40 min only to order for 1 kid breakfast, not worth it and expensive. also parking is expensive 30 dlls per night pool had a lot of kids not behaving and no one was there to check the pool area , running, jumping, throwing bottles of water inside the pool as a ball , all the amenities games where inside the pool by these kids… i call for house keeping and they didn't not made my room when we come back
Great hotel very close to Disneyland. The walk was only about 10 minutes. Great customer service with a welcome drink on arrival. The rooms were clean and the hotel had a fun vibe. The pool area had games and a fire pit. Would definitely stay again.
The rooms were great and decor was awesome! The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We loved the Disney theme as well as the Halloween decorations when we came for our son's Disney birthday trip! We are definitely coming back!
Such a cute hotel!! I'm complementary cocktail at check is was so good, my little sister got cookies instead of a cocktail lamo. The pool was cute!! And the included breakfast vouchers were so freaking good!!! The walk to the parks from here was not bad at all! Maos said 20 minutes but it was more like 10 really.
Hotel was great for the price but I think there were short staffed because I had to keep requesting cleaning service. The workers in the front desk were nice and responsive! But great proximity to the Disneyland parks! Lots of food places and stores nearby.
Excellent customer service, convenient parking and location, simple snacks, and amenities. Neat and clean room. What more could a girl ask for. I had some struggles getting confirmation on my booking, but the hotel staff was very patient and willing to work with me while I figured it out and even had some helpful tips to make sure I got the best deal. I was having a bad week which I shared with the hostess at the front desk and she made sure I was able to get through the check in process with ease, even though I had high stress levels. Parking was beyond convenient. I wasn't expecting to be so close to Disneyland, but the hotel was nice and quiet and set up perfectly for guests to be able to get to point to point B without any chaos. I was able to grab a snack really late at night. And also had a DoorDash delivered the clerk at the front desk during the night time was absolutely amazing and helpful and just the sweetest man. I was highly impressed with his customer service skills. Not sure I would have a reason to be back in the neighborhood, but if and when I do, I will definitely be rebooking
The Hotel Lulu was an adorable and comfortable place to stay on our trip to Disneyland for our daughter's birthday! We loved how clean and secure it was, how close it is to the park, in addition to how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Top tier customer service!!! We do wish housekeeping came to our room at least once during our 2 night stay.
We decided to go to Disneyland for the weekend, and this hotel is in a Great location—within walking distance of Disneyland. My 2-year-old daughter enjoyed the pool area, and the rooms were clean. Staff was very courteous and informative, we enjoyed it.
The bed and breakfast was great. I found a previous guest's dirty clothes left in our room though which was gross. Staff was friendly although my brother who arrived separately received a welcome drink whereas I did not so it seems that things are a little inconsistent. Ice machines aren't located on all floors and don't all work so you have to travel up and down floors to find a working one. Overall, a decent stay for what little time we spent here although there is definite room for improvement.
I always have a great time when I stay at Lulu! I am an airline employee and I almost always stay at Hotel Lulu. I enjoy lots of girl trips with my daughter and sisters and I always recommend Lulu when we're going to an adult girls Disney trip. It's super safe and a short walk from lots of food and beverage choices and also a short walk to Disney Main Gate. Also, the cocktail is a nice little touch that is always fun for us girls as it's our "official" toast of the start of a new adventure and fun. I will continue to choose Lulu as our official Disney Girls trip family destination. PS Valerie at the front desk this visit was phenomenal and is one of the many reasons we keep coming back. God bless you my Lulu family! Can't wait to visit again...
The staff was amazing and the room was clean. There is one thing that I wish would have been mentioned while booking the room, and it would be the parking fee. We were notified about it when we were checking in the front desk that it was an additional $30 per day. Other than that we would highly recommend this place to friends and family, but we would probably have them just uber/lyft to the hotel.
Room was overall pretty good, nice beds, the microwave and refrigerator was really helpful with a toddler, only reason I gave a 4 was because I thought bathrooms could be updated better and the tv could have option for streaming other than that it was great.
Overall the stay was comfortable and fun, The pool was one of our highlights of our stay. The room was clean, however, we never had anyone clean or restock the towels during the duration of our three night stay. The booking was also almost double the cost when we checked in with all the extra fees that weren't mentioned at time of booking. Nice hotel but wouldn't book again due to cost of fees.
Excellent 3-day Stay at Hotel Lulu! We visited Disneyland during our stay and with how exhausted we were after Day 1 and Day 2, coming back to our room to sleep on our beds and pillows were a dream! We really only encountered the Front Desk staff while we were there and they were all a pleasure to speak with. Don't look any further, we highly recommend Hotel Lulu!
Unclean place very bad services, swimming pool and its surroundings are unclean, broken TV, poor services from workers, The price of a car shelter is exaggerated, and almost every hull is double the price, a place in a non-strong bathroom, there is a great inconvenience in a hotel, who are treated there uncooperative,
Very nice room and convenient location to Disneyland and angel stadium along with ducks hockey. Nice paid parking lot near everything you would want to do in Anaheim or neighboring city's. Every time I stay here it's been amazing from check in to check out.
The beds are comfortable and the hotel was clean. The shower had great water pressure. Our room was ready early and the kids were given cookies during the process. The price was actually less than many in the area as well. We will stay again at this hotel.
This was our fourth stay at hotel Lulu for various reasons, but our first time as a family of 5 with a newborn. Staff is always super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Cribs are provided when requested, rooms have always been very clean and all appliances have always worked just fine. Fridge and microwave a huge plus with littles who still depend on warm milk multiple times a day, and the pool was perfectly heated for night time swims with little as well. Staff is always keeping common areas clean, such as the lobby and pool area which we appreciate. Overall great experience each time we stay!
Hotel Lulu is so close to everything in Anaheim and the rooms were clean, and air conditioned as well. The food from room service was restaurant quality and tasty and they even have a cute little robot deliver it! The pool was big enough for multiple families to enjoy and the water was crisp but not freezing 😊
It was very close to Disney. Walkable distance which was nice. There was parking at the hotel for a fee. About $30 per day. The bed was okay, a spring mattress with thin blankets. Not the most comfortable but it did the job after a long day of walking. The sink was dirty upon check in. Hair and dirt in drain visible.
The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent, you can walk to the Disney parks. The personnel is very friendly. The hotel has a restaurant and they have a good variety on the menu and the quality is acceptable. They offer you a complimentary drink for adults, which I thought was a nice touch. The only thing I didn't like was that the drafts from the air conditioning were very loud, especially at night.
We stayed five nights and walked to Disney daily. Only about a 15 minute walk. The front desk staff were awesome, the pool was fantastic and the adult beverage at check in was a plus! It's not like five star luxury but for the price and proximity to the parks, it was perfect. The staff were all super nice too.
The price was very good for the room and the front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location is close to Disneyland for a short walk. In the 3 night stay we did not have anyone come in to clean our room even once and had to ask for clean towels. Water pressure in the shower was non existent.
Nice hotel near amenities and walking to Disneyland. Rooms are nice . Closest ice machine was broke and soda/ water machine broke outside out room but worked on another floor Rooms are clean and nice and front desk help is very nice . Breakfast is not complimentary but can be purchased it close ihop and dennys
If there were half stars this hotel would get 3.5 stars, This is a solid place with the potential to be a solid 4-5 stars but they have some bugs to iron out. I'll give brief highlights since there are so many other reviews: Pros: Cost - the cost per night was reasonable in comparison to other hotels in the same area. Clean updated rooms with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Our room was pretty quiet and we slept soundly. Walk to Disneyland took 12-15 minutes, which isn't bad but at the end of a day at Disney it can seem long to tired feet. Super friendly employees. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. They provide early check in, if available, and late checkout for a fee (50.00 until 3pm and 100.00 until 6pm) which is a great option if you are not flying out until later in the evening and want to be able to rest or take a nap in the middle of the day. You can order from several restaurants in the area through an app that the hotel provides without paying a delivery fee. This was very convenient and the food was good and average priced. Multiple fast elevators. Close to a Starbucks and several restaurants and a CVS/Walgreens for travel or emergency needs. Cons: The pool area is nice albeit a little small but it was dirty. No attention to detail here. There were towels laying around, cups and garbage on lounger tables and ground and they were out of pool towels by 3pm. This area has a lot of potential but they are skimping on man power to keep it nice for guests throughout the day. They charged us 29.00 a day for parking, which we did not not ahead of time. That adds up and it seemed excessive. They advertised a coffee bar but it is not set up or staffed as seen in pics and descriptions on website. Staff apologized and said it hasnt been staffed for quite some time. They did offer brewed coffee in the morning which was ok. The shower backed up into the bathtub leaving us showering and standing in several inches of water. Kinda gross. They do not offer housekeeping service unless requested and we did not know this. We came back from the park ready to go to bed to find our room not serviced -no new towels, etc. This would not have been a huge deal if they would have told us so we could just grab fresh towels. They should tell you this info when you check in. All told we would absolutely stay here again. It is a great hotel with reasonable prices. They just have a few bugs to work out and I would give them 4-5 stars.
I always have a great time this was the second time I've stayed a once again was greeted with an upbeat attitude and very accommodating to my request. And I already have booked my stay for my next trip This was my husband retirement trip that we planned last minute
It had been years since staying at this hotel. Last time I stayed it was formerly known as the Red Lion hotel. I'm very pleased to say that this hotel did not disappoint. We were greeted with very friendly staff at check in that made me feel as if I had been missed. Hotel is very clean and rooms are very clean as well. I was definitely surprised to see a microwave in my room as to my experience it's not common. Water pressure from the shower even surprised me as it was pretty strong. Definitely enjoyed that. While I did only stay one night it was enough to had me look forward to future stays!
Very clean. Super friendly. Clean pool and bar. Plenty of room for parking. Love that you must have a room key to enter the hotel and go up the Elevator. A safe area. Walking distance to anaheim Convention center. Store all up and down the street. Different restaurants to eat.
We loved our stay at hotel Lulu. Check in and check out were smooth. House keeping staff went above and beyond. We were visiting Disneyland during our stay, and we walked to and from the park every day. This hotel is also located next to a Walgreens an CVS if you forgot anything. We would love to stay at hotel lulu agin for our next Disney trip!
Fantastic staff. They were very friendly and welcoming, willing to answer any questions.I look forward to my next visit.
Great price and stay for an impromptu trip to Disneyland. Water pressure is amazing, mattress and pillows are great, and it's walking distance to Disneyland. Very close to food and convenience stores. We've stayed at the hotel before and would definitely stay again.
We had a nice stay and were treated well. The walk was short (12 min) and on the way we picked up daily provisions at CVS. The room was quiet (624), pool was clean and the adult free beverage and coffee was a nice touch.
Great friendly staff at Hotel Lulu! The hotel has gated parking in the back so it's very safe and convenient. They serve complimentary vodka lemonade 1 per guest but I'm sure some of the hotel front desk staff would give an extra free if you ask. However I would say our room wasn't up to par, for instance the tub drain was so slow it filled up to our feet when showering, the refrigerator in the room is one of the tiniest I've seen, and our room door had poor seal so when ever the next door guest would shut their door, our door would just rattle constantly. The hotel pool was pretty dirty likely from certain people not rinsing off or showering prior to going in. There was dirty towels and plastic cups lying around on pool lounge chairs, definitely needed someone there just to clean it throughout the day. Was surprised to see this type of thing being that the pool is always the most popular spot to hang out. The WiFi in the hotel is terrible so if you're trying to actually work from your computer in the room forget it, you'll be quite frustrated. I ended up just walking to the Starbucks near by at the Hyatt House hotel since they always have strong WiFi. Probably the worst part about our experience was having other hotel guest that wasn't respectful of others. We woke up in the middle of the night to an odor that I thought was from the carpet machine, it gave me a headache. The odor was seeping through our door and our entire room was filled with it. It was terrible I had the turn the fan on high just to somehow manage it better. Then I realized that smell was familiar, someone was vaping on our floor and the smell/odor pushed out into the hallway into our room and most likely other guest room as well. Wish the hotel had a strict policy on vaping. Some people just don't have that common decency these days to just use it outside. Overall our experience with the hotel staff was great. Rooms should be better maintenance, needs better WiFi, and some type of policy about vaping. If this is your first time give it a try, the location to Disneyland was perfect. But we won't be going back here anymore, would rather pay higher to have a hotel that was better serviced and rooms better maintained.
Great price and location. Even the older building had been renovated and it was beautiful. Clean and comfortable. Great checkin - thanks Samuel. You even get a free drink on check in (blue cocktail, yum) Highly recommend for a quick visit to Disneyland.
Nice hotel, great service, clean room. Everything we could ask for. Great proximity to Disneyland. WiFi was quick and everything was great. No complaints at all. Will definitely stay again in the future. Very nice employees as well made the stay great
The room was beautiful super clean and comfortable would recommend plus it's super close to Disneyland and close to Starbucks and many other stores walking distance. Parking was great I felt secure leaving my vehicle there while I went out to the city
Great hotel, excellent location. Room size is adequate for a family. I hop next door, Starbucks around the corner, breakfast available onsite as well as great cocktails on arrival. Good pool area and daily room servicing is available on request at no extra charge.
My family and I stayed at Hotel Lulu for our Disneyland trip/niece's graduation party hosted in their ballroom. Upon our arrival, I was greeted with friendly and excellent service at the front desk during our check-in. Parking is easily accessible and we had no issues finding our way to our room as the elevators are right next to the parking door entrance to the hotel. Our room was ready upon arrival and in excellent clean condition. The housekeepers are friendly and prompt upon requests, we had no issues when requesting new towels and sheets. The hotel is only minutes away from the park giving us the option to walk or drive with ease. The highlight of our stay had to have been the hotel bartender, Welbert. Not only did Welbert give us amazing service at the hotel bar during our first night, but was also the bartender for our niece's graduation party. Welbert made our stay memorable, I will definitely be returning to Hotel Lulu because of him. If anyone is looking for a hotel close to Disneyland Resort that provides great service, Hotel Lulu is the place to go!
If I could give 4.5 stars I would. I am a side sleeper and by night 3 my hips really hurt because of the firmness of the mattress. Aside from that, we were very pleased. As an added bonus, it is right beside IHOP with a Walgreens and CVS on the corner for those forgotten (or couldn't fly with) incidentals. We were in town for an event at the Convention center with a trip to Disney as an added bonus. The walk to the Convention center was easy. The walk to the parks/Downtown Disney was not bad either. So if you are headed to both locations, this is a great option in the middle. We got a high floor fireworks view room and loved being able to watch the Disneyland fireworks from the comfort of our beds several nights. But beware, the view of the park is basically the backside of the Guardians building and the back of the Cars mountain. That's just the reality of this location in relation to the parks. We didn't mind though. It was still fun to look out the window and see Disney. Also, we loved running into Lulu, the adorable robot delivering something to a room. The staff was AMAZING and very friendly. It was an easy process to drop off our luggage until our room was ready so we could do a little shopping and eat while we waited.
This Hotel is AMAZING! from the Breakfast meals, Room (we can see fireworks from Disney), Staff are VERY attentive and Friendly, safe, everything is walking distance to Disney and Convention center. The Pool Bar tender, WILL is Fantastic! Me and my kids enjoyed his service. Make sure to visit him by the pool if you choose to try this Hotel. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, you won't regret it! :)
Cute, mod, clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Pool area was perfect for hanging out with friends after a long day. Complimentary drink at check-in was a pleasant surprise! Would definitely recommend for couples, families, or anyone.
One of the many hotels lining the boulevard. Walking distance to restaurants, convention centre, etc. More suitable for holidaymakers than business guests. Room was very basic. Service was very inconsistent- the person who checked me in did not provide any breakfast coupons; the second person gave only one, reluctantly, the next morning after I got turned away by the restaurant staff- although the stay was for four days and the third pleasantly gave coupons for the remaining days in one go.
The most amazing bedding. Would love to know where I can get the entire bedding set... mattress, pillows, linens. Great rooms and amenities. Amicable staff. Will book again gor a future stay. Enjoyed the welcome drinks and the ability to leave my car in hotel parking until midnight the day of my checkout.
Hotel LuLu is the best. They provide excellent hospitality. If you need something the Lulu bot will bring it to your room. This place is our gem when visiting Disneyland. The cafe serves generous portions and is fairly priced for Disney. The grounds are well manicured and the pool is heated at 83° year-round. Thank you Samuel for providing us with tips and another awesome stay.
Booked Hotel Lulu for 2 nights for a family trip to Disneyland. Hotel was about a 15 min walk to Disneyland's front gates and I was able to check in early by calling ahead of time day of which was great! Price was fair, room was great, and will be visiting again!
This was a very last minute trip for our family to Disneyland. We wanted something affordable but nice and upon reviews and looking this was the place! Super close to Disney. Met all our expectations and more. Will definitely be staying again!
The rooms are really clean and it's really nice. The front desk staff was super friendly at all times, the only downfall was we stood two nights and we never got clean towels or the room cleaned but definitely I'll stay there again walking distance to Disneyland
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and inviting. Great place to stay after a long day at Disneyland. Walking distance to Disneyland. The staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival, with cookies and a welcome drink. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel Lulu is a great hidden gem. Check in is quick and easy. Desk staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is reasonable and abundant. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Easy walk to Disneyland and California Adventure. May have found our new go-to hotel for the Anaheim area.
We went for a convention. The hotel was sold out. I had some issues with my room and bathroom, but the staff was responsive and got those issues resolved.
I been staying at Hotel Lulu for a while and I honestly have to say that I love staying here, it's 2 block from Disneyland ( a 18 min walk) the price I have been paying at each stay way better than any other hotel in the area. It's clean, the rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows comfortable. I would be staying at this hotel every time I decide to visit Disneyland.
Honestly, it was a great overall experience Staff was friendly, room was clean, the amenities were great I honestly couldn't describe anything negative about our experience even if I tried. My family and I's new go to hotel when we're visiting from Arizona for a Disneyland trip.
The stay was great, the Hotel employees are very nice and accommodating. It was close to Disneyland were we went and they accomdated all of the needs we had even holding bags for the day as we are at the Parks. Hotel was clean. It would of been nice if they had more food but that's ok.
We stayed on our honeymoon trip. We arrived late for check in and was greeted with a cocktail. The room was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. We went to the bar and had a great experience with Welbert. He was super friendly and helpful as well. Would come back next time we are in town anytime.
Close proximity to the park, 10 minute walk or right next to the Toy Story parking lot if you prefer shuttle service. Comfortable beds & clean rooms. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in room. Friendly staff upon check in and they are sure to offer help if needed.
Very clean rooms. Walking distance to Disney. I felt it was a safe neighborhood. IHOP right next door. Rooms were kinda small. Clean hotel. Great front desk emoyees. Wish the pool was open later. 7th floor had horrible water pressure. Overall a great stay!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The amenities were great. There are great food options available through room service. The pricing was really competitive as well. They even allowed me to extend my stay the morning I was supposed to checkout which made everything smooth and let me stay in the room I already had.
DO NOT STAY AT HOTEL LULU! Very dismissive staff and they would not fix any issues we reported. Would not recommend
Checking was a breeze and the front desk people were very friendly. My room was spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable, I slept very well. I was only there for one night, because I had extended my stay 1 day. My original hotel didn't have a room available so I found Hotel Lulu. I really wish that I had stayed the 3 days there at Hotel Lulu. I will definitely be back for my next trip to Anaheim.
My family had a great time and loved the room. Everything was within walking distance. Shuttle stopped in front of hotel for Disneyland
Daphne was great beautiful smile so helpful made my stay wonderful can't wait to come back you need more people like her hope she's there when I come back it would make my stay so much better compare to my last stay here which was not very good !!!
Cute hotel with great amenities- complimentary cocktail when we checked in, coffee in the morning and a hotel restaurant (we didn't use). Offered an easy walk with close proximity to Disneyland. Bathroom could have used some renovating but room was clean. Lots of restaurants close by and nice size refrigerator.
Amazing location to visit Disneyland and loved having a room with a view of the fireworks. The hotel itself was beautiful and a fun environment with a sweet and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious and quick service and the Intelegentisa coffee was a very welcome surprise.
Funky hotel located close to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Centre. Friendly and helpful staff, welcome cocktail, poolside bar, fire pit and games. Breakfast available at on-site restaurant. Small issue with TV remote resolved quickly. Great stay!
I booked 2 connecting rooms. Upon arrival, I was given keys for one room and told that the other had to be cleaned. After unpacking I was then told that the connecting room was already occupied. We had to repack and change rooms. Very inconvenient.
Room was large enough for 3 adults and one child although it was a little dated and tired. The hotel location was ideal for Disneyland and also for traveling to LA and Universal. Lots of places to eat in the local area. House keeping I.e. bins emptied, sheets changed, towels changed had to be requested. The room was quite dusty in the bathroom and living areas. Regardless of these issues we had a wonderful time
Great place, close to the parks. Great service too. Drove to meet up with family to enjoy a spring break experience. My only complaint is the daily parking fees, but at least I'm not paying Disney parking prices. Very comfortable rooms too. ++
This hotel was a good last minute find. Only down side was getting a room that faced a wall with the air vents tubes. So felt like we were sleeping in a little box. The staff were great though and loved that we were offered a complimentary drink, which fit their theme perfectly. Also you do get charged for parking at this hotel, it was about $30 per day and it is walking distance from Disneyland.
Just had another very enjoyable stay at Hotel Lulu. We have stayed at multiple good neighbor hotels in the Disneyland area for many years and have settled on Hotel Lulu because it is always clean, the staff is always very friendly and helpful, their rates are very competitive, but most importantly to me is the bed! That may sound weird, but after a long day in Disneyland, I need a comfortable bed and they have the most comfortable beds of any other hotel I have stayed at! We will continue to stay at their hotel whenever we are in Disneyland!
Great hotel close to Disneyland in walking distance. Staff was amazing and rooms were nice with comfortable beds. Bartenders were very friendly and fun to talk to. Overall, a great experience, especially being a woman traveling alone. I always felt safe. Starbucks close by. Will definitely be coming back.
Clean rooms and very well maintained area! Love the location of the property! Close to food and stores. Toy story parking lot is very convenient!
The rooms were spacious (for the area) and clean. The staff was absolutely outstanding. Did not encounter one negative staff member. We got to the hotel early before heading to Disneyland and they were able to check us in early. Super close to a Starbucks and Walgreens. Hotel happy hour was nice.
All was great here. Unfortunately there was a very early morning protest across the street. Woke us up at 6:30am. Not fun.
Right at check-in, the staff was welcoming and beyond helpful. Even got a complimentary drink! The decor was adorable as I headed to the elevator and I loved how the walls were adorned. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to vending and elevator. Fridge and microwave as well as coffee in the room too. Wifi was great. The walk to Disney wasn't bad at all and I felt safe the whole time. Plenty of convenience stores and food around. All in all, would definitely stay here again.
Very good instalations. Very clean. The only thing i can tell was not good, i order cleaning the room and it was not acomplished
This hotel was clean and less than a 10 min walk to Disney, had a great pool, would have like a hot tub. Walking distance to Starbucks and lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
The stay was very pleasant. Walking distance to Disneyland. Room was clean and comfortable! I only wish the eating area had more than just breakfast, but maybe lunch/dinner as well. No major complaints though. My boys and I enjoyed our entire vacation.
Very beautiful stay except for the shower drain draining very very very slow and it took maintenance 30 minutes to get there.
The hotel was beautiful , they have great amenities such as pool , bar , snack bar, and even better close to Disney. I love that the hotel is really safe- You have to use the card to go in to the hotel from the back by the parking lot. Also , when being in the elevator you have to scan your guest card to go up the floors.

Staff was excellent. Simon was genuine. Lulus Kitchen breakfast was fantastic. No irons :/ had to stream. Room was outdated but very clean. The place was a vibe. Walgreens and CVS are 24 hours and nearby. Parking had in and out privileges. Forgot my trunks but would have gone for a swim.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The area was quiet. Only thing lacking is free breakfast that other hotels provide. When your press for time in the morning a simple breakfast is great and saves time so you csn get to rope drop. We may stay at another hotel to get the quick breakfast.
The staff is always so amazing! We've stayed here a few times already and it's always such a smooth trip! I would highly recommend 10/10 They always go above and beyond for us It's so close to the park and walking distance, we always end with a little night cap as well
This is the second time we have stayed at the Lulu Hotel. I can promise you that it won't be our last. Hotel Lulu is not only conveniently located to Disneyland but it is also clean and the staff is so friendly. I can't say enough kind things about the front desk especially about Savannah. She is awesome. My son really took to her. wouldn't leave without saying goodbye to her on our last day. The breakfast was delicious and service in there restaurant was fast as well. I can't say enough great things about it.
Excellent breakfast and very nice hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only about a half a mile walk to Disneyland main gates. Very close to everything in Anaheim. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a close stay to the Park for a reasonable price and luxurious accommodations
I love Hotel Lulu. The staff are friendly, the check in drinks and cookies are such a nice touch and the rooms are cute and comfy. The pool is beautiful. It opens early and closes late which means you can have a drink (or in my case a Shirley Temple) by the fire at 9pm if you choose!. Can't wait to go back. It's my fav hotel by far!!!
The rooms are super Clean and comfortable. The staff are very polite. The whole hotel has very cute decor. Reasonable walking distance to Disneyland. We even walk back for lunch since it's so close. Small bar for parents after a long day at the park .
Room was clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Microwave in the room was nice. Fridge was too small. AC was nice and cold. Tried to check in early as others were doing and was told my room wasn't ready but that someone would call as soon as it was ready but I never received a call. There was no ice bucket in the room so had to request one and it arrived promptly via robot. Only stayed one night. Walked next door to Toy Story shuttle and headed to Disneyland. Would stay again.
The staff were professional, the rooms were clean, easy to find hotel, convenient location, I wish there was a complimentary breakfast. I think all hotels should be outfitted with a bidet. I did try to check on at 11, room was unavailable, they said they would give me a call but they did not. I give 7.5/10
Very convenient whether you're going to the convention center or Disneyland. Room service is available but we used door dash instead. The hotel has a cute, beach theme and the staff are polite and enthusiastic. This was our second stay at Hotel Lulu and we would stay again.
We watched the Disneyland fireworks right from our room…that was awesome. This hotel is in a great location to walk to Disneyland. The beds were comfy and the pillows were perfect. We may have been too exhausted to care! I do appreciate the nice quality of the towels and linens.
The pool was such fun after a long day of driving. My family dropped by for a little bit and the neighbors abetted ok with a little noise as we got ready and came back. Great family atmosphere. I will definitely head back here when visiting family again.
Location is great- close enough to walk to Disney. Stores and restaurants are nearby. Room was quiet. No problems. I usually look for free parking and breakfast. This hotel had neither but was clean and comfortable. I also would have preferred non-instant coffee but still grateful to have in-room coffee.
We loved our stay! The staff here is just wonderful including Lulu the delivery robot. The rooms are clean and had all of our needs. The front desk is very responsive to requests and needs. The parking is safe and plentiful. We would gladly stay again and again. Great place!
Only negative is that the housekeeper came in when she wasnt supposed to , the room was entered while we were gone . She gave is new towels and took 1 used one , which was nice but she didnt have to come in so we were violated in a way . They should be more on it about these things cause our privacy was violated even though everything was still ok
The front staff when checking in was the friendliest that I have encountered in a long time. Also when entering and exiting the lobby they staff was very engaging and friendly very pleased. Loved the pool and fire pit with games especially cornhole my favorite. The only down fall no HOT TUB. Other wise a very enjoyable stay
My experience was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms very tidy and very clean and excellent ambiance. They have the service of storing your luggage while you finish doing your things and they also welcome you with a welcome cocktail.
Good hotel to stay at was close to Disneyland. Great bed and pillows. Only issue is the parking charge is pretty high. Other than parking charge great hotel clean rooms close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Can easily walk to Disneyland.
When I checked in, they didn't have my reservation as it was canceled by their group admin 9 days prior. Said they had tried to reach me to update a payment method and couldn't reach me. I was traveling for work at the time and got no messages from anyone at the hotel. I assure you, if someone had sent me a message that they were going to cancel if I didn't call back, I would have been ALL over it. Two years ago, I had arrived the second day of a 3 day stay (didn't realize I had booked for the night before) and they had canceled and rebooked my room and there was zero availability. There were NO hotels with rooms left due to a massive annual Expo at ACC. They gave me a room this time at the rack rate of $299 + $50 deposit + $29 parking + taxes but somehow that came to $464?? For one night. Group rate was $269/night w/o parking. My original reservation was for $668 for 2 nights (not including parking). That night, I spent half the night trying to decide where I would be able to stay the next day, and had concluded I needed to just stay with friends in LA (an hour away) and have to get up at zero dark to drive back and be able to park. The next morning, I went tog et coffee and decided to ask again if there was another room for the 2nd night. I was shocked that the answer this time was “yes” and I needed to move right now (it was about 10:00am) from my double double to a king. I gladly packed up and moved to a king room on the 5th floor, also at $299/night. The room was gigantic (ADA room) with a super comfy bed and pillows. Shower was good, tv and remote worked, blackout drapes worked well and I was super comfortable. While this was all going on, people are checking in and being given free slushy blue cocktails, which was nice (I don't drink anything blue, so no biggie), but after what I went through trying to check in, no oft offered me a drink? Even though they were offering it to everyone? Missed hospitality opportunity. The manager had to be brought in to help and he was not sufficiently apologetic and didn't make any meaningful effort to help solve the problem, other than approve that they would find me a room. The young gal helping me did all of the hard work and apologized multiple times, made eye contact and was trying really hard to help me. Will probably stay again because it's clean and comfortable and so close to the convention center so I can go back and forth easily and leave my car at the hotel. Parking at the CC is $20/day but you have to get there quite early to get into the actual convention center lots. Otherwise, you'll park at the Angels stadium parking and shuttle in. Definitely learned to plan ahead and find a hotel in walking distance to avoid the parking drama and lost hours. Very unhappy about my rooms being canceled and them saying they “tried to reach me”, as I would have called back and resolved that immediately, for how important this event is for my business. Without all of that drama, the hotel is perfectly good and clean with a great location for the convention center and Disneyland. And it was March so not spring break or summer, so didn't hear a bunch of kid noise as others seemed to complain about. And I like kids and kids should make noise when they are excited about going to the “happiest place on earth”!
The hotel location was ideal for Disneyland and also for traveling to LA and Universal. Room was large enough for 4 people and had good natural light. The only downside was the room was dated and tired. We was not aware that there was no house keeping I.e. bins emptied, sheets changed, towels changed unless requested. The biggest issue was the amount of dust in the bathroom and living area. Regardless of these issues we had a wonderful time
Extremely clean room, very comfortable and the staff is exceptional - its the only place I will stay when visiting Disneyland. I enjoy this place so much because I am treated very well and the park is only a 14 minute walk. Plus you get a few drink at check in.
Quick walk to Disney, very friendly staff, overall room was OK, it was clean, they put us in a room that shared a wall with the elevator lobby so we could hear a lot of foot traffic. And we had a view of a wall with pipes and trash below which was not pleasant, and also made lots of noise at night.
Overall we had a good stay. Savannah was there when we arrived and she has a wonderful personality. I also had a couple interactions with the manager (I didn't catch her name) and she was also very nice and warm. Pros: Check in was easy, I was able to check in an hour early because the room was ready. The kids got complimentary oreos and a cocktail for the adult. They offer a free kids meal with purchase of adult meal in there cafe however we didn't take advantage of that so don't know if it's good. Price range for adult was approx 20.00. Beds were comfortable. Large TV. Room temp was good and unit worked well. Blackout curtains. 10 to 15 min walk to Disney. It wasn't bad, we ubered one morning to Disney for 7.00. Not a lot of street noise or hallway noise. Cons: there's tax on the parking fee of 29.00/night which I thought was odd. The main lobby and hallways have bad smell with stuff sprayed to try and mask it. Think sweaty gym locker room (the room itself didn't smell). Room seemed clean but there were hairs on the towels and a couple stains on the carpet (this was minor for me because those things are bound to happen). There was hardly any water pressure in sink or shower, yet the toilets are turbo flushers. You can hear the flush next door and above you. The walls (particularly in the bathroom) are SO thin. I could hear the guy in the room next to me peeing when I was getting ready in the morning. The water wasn't very hot for the shower. There will little gnats in the bathroom . I killed so many I have no clue where they kept coming from! Overall, I would say it's a good place to sleep comfortably and walk to Disney. The people that work there are also very nice and accommodating.
I needed a hotel for a convention I was a vendor at. I basically needed a bed as I want going to spend much time at the hotel. But I didn't want to stay in a gross or old dirty motel. I randomly stayed here last year and said if I ever needed to stay near Disney that would be my hotel! Staff was beyond friendly, the welcome cocktail was just what I needed after a very stressful day. The beds were comfy, room was clean and modern, and staff was so friendly and helpful.
Avoid this place. I have never written a review before but people need to know. Rude unhelpful staff I would recommend sleeping on the streets . Air conditioning noisy and not cooling beds are hard and lumpy the bathroom is a disaster! Just nothing nice to say!
Perfect for Disneyland or the convention center. Nice clean room. Big parking lot. Bed was fine with a big TV. Refrigerator and microwave. Coffee maker was a pack of instant coffee and a pot to heat the water. The hotel felt safe and except for a few rowdy little kids it was quiet.
Rooms are always clean. Friendly staff and close to Disneyland. Parking lot is spacious. They have a nice bar and comfortable lobby. The staff there are very accommodating. Hands down the best hotel near Disneyland. I highly recommend this place for your next stay.
The rooms were very clean. The decor was cute and it was conveniently located to Disney, restaurants and convenient store. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The complimentary welcome drink was a nice surprise. They do charge a hefty daily parking fee, so be prepared for that additional cost
Stayed here on a busy Disneyland race weekend. Great experience! Well located, not too expensive, and the room was a nice size and clean. The only couple negatives were that the walls were thin and it was pretty loud. My room faced Harbor Blvd but I heard more noise from other rooms than from the street. I could also hear the fireworks from Disney, but sadly, couldn't see them. Overall, a good choice of hotel, easily walkable and decent stay.
Good location. Price felt a bit high for the condition of the property. Felt that we could have had a better experience elsewhere. Seems that price ballooned from what was originally confirmed, but it was just last minute taxes. Unfortunately, the confirmed rate when we booked was far higher than the day of rate, which felt a little odd since we booked with the BW app.
The only big issues we had was parking was pretty expensive, a few dollars more than parking at the actual parking garage for Disneyland. The other was the walls were extremely thin. We could hear the kids next door screaming all night long so it was hard to get to sleep. The room itself was clean and bed was comfortable. Also there is no smart tv in the room we stayed in so we had to watch DirecTV instead. If you want to watch certain movies or shows, be sure to bring a streaming device with you on your trip.
Provided an excellent location. The surrounding area was safe and provided a number of eating options. Very friendly welcome. Easy walking distance to Disneyland. Clean and good sized rooms. Friendly staff. Only issue was loud ventilation system.
Wonderful and convenient hotel to visit Disneyland. All the staff was so friendly. But what really made my stay was the Inteligensia coffee in the lobby and in the rooms. So much better than that rancid Keurig stuff most hotels offer. The price was really great, too.
For the money and location, this is a pretty good hotel. The things we liked....Walgreens next door, hotel isn't very big so it took 2 mins to get to the lobby, it was clean, and the staff was friendly. What we didn't like....food options inside the hotel are non existent, after breakfast, you have 1 key to open the glass door to get in the building and another to open your room door. We did use door dash a couple of times when we got back late from the parks, and it worked perfectly fine for us. Uber/Lyft picks up quick if you want a fast cheap ride to/from the parks. If you want to walk, it's just over 2 long blocks....
The stay was very good, with a comfortable and spacious room and positive vibes throughout the hotel. However, my only dissatisfaction lies with the key cards. To enter the building, you have to slide a key card, which provides added security but also proves to be a hassle as the cards frequently malfunction. The parking lot is situated at the back of the building, so when the key cards don't work, it becomes problematic, forcing you to walk all the way around the big building with luggage or anything else.
The room was comfortable and the hotel overall had a fun, beachy atmosphere. The restaurant was really tasty. We did not have housekeeping service but the room was clean. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The daily infused water was a refreshing treat.
Over all the room was amazing. Spacious and clean. Enjoyed our stay for the two nights! Beds were comfy. TV worked, fridge worked. No complaints. Bathroom was clean all the shampoo options where good. Love the shuttle service. Picked us up in front and drop us of the same!
We were at Anaheim for an event in the convention center. Enjoyed our stay at this very accessible hotel. It is a walk away and a block to the convention center. Restaurants are all over and if you are there visiting Disneyland. This place is a solid option. Staff is very friendly and they do have some awesome amenities like, Gym, bar, Coffee shop, a pool and a restaurant. Rooms are clean and very adequate, sheets are fresh and clean and the bathroom are nice and clean. Will not hesitate to suggest this hotel to anybody. This is really a solid option for a quick stay in Anaheim
This hotel is a Great location for Disney, affordable and easy parking too. Their beds are very comfortable and the room is nice overall. The hotel does not have restaurants, but they have free delivery service with a wide variety of food. This was our second stay and we will be back!
Guest service are great, they are friendly and helpful. Great location for Disneyland! Surrounding with convenience stores, restaurants and gift shops. Lulu the robot is so cute ... delivery our extra towels in a minute! Room is good, bed and pillow are good. Shower pressure is great ...with hot water!! Great place to stay if you are coming to Disneyland!!
My husband and I have stayed here twice now. Once in December and then this past weekend. Front desk staff were really nice, rooms were clean and nothing was missing. As a best western member we even got a free drink! Which was a nice touch. The only thing I would recommend is that they advertise the parking fees. It's not a big deal if they make it known that it's an additional charge. Otherwise it's close to Disney and has what you need.
Very very sweet and helpful! My family and I stayed the one night for Disneyland to celebrate my sister's birthday and she loved her experience! They had balloons and a card ready with lollipops and she was elated! I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a park that's close by in walking distance!
Best beds and pillows. Good location. Easy walk to convention center. Area is safe and has excellent selection of restaurants and cafes. Also, great spot for Disneyland base as well. Kid friendly hotel. Parking is convenient and affordable.
Such a cute hotel - so enjoyed the upbeat Disney art and the modren yet vintage styling theme...friendly and efficient staff. Room service options partner's with surrounding restaurants for a large variety of food options. Quiet, clean, and comfortable rooms.
The front desk staff was friendly, but they didn't have a sense of above and beyond. I wanted to purchase some muffins from the bakery counter and asked about flavors they didn't know and didn't even go out of their way to find out. I would've loved to see them go above and beyond to please their guest. When leaving at 6:30 AM was told coffee is not set out for another hour. However, there were four different guests that were looking for coffee for me above and beyond meant the Desk representative would have brought it out. Nonetheless she was adamant to stick with her 730 time. I would like to see them go above and beyond on these very simple task.
Comfortable and clean. About a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. My complaint is that the drain in the tub was malfunctioning so I had to use the bath mat to keep it wedged open. Also no hooks for towels.
Hotel was surprisingly nice. Heard some soso review but we were very pleased. Clean, quick elevators and themed nicely. Only a 13-15 minute walk to Disneyland entrance. Has a breakfast for a fee( did not try). Has fridge and microwave but instant coffee. You can take the Toy Story shuttle from the parks and cuts your walk in half. Would stay there again.
Took Family to Disneyland. Hotel was less then 10 min walk there is a bus / shuttle to take you to the park but the weather was nice and a little walking felt good after a 2 hour car ride. Love this hotel would recomment to friends and family
From the moment we walked in through the lobby I felt the Disney, So Cal vibe. Smelled great and the front desk was very friendly and helpful even at 2:30am when we arrived. The rooms were clean and the decor was what I would call beachy Disney. The north tower is where Lobby, and breakfast are served. Closest to harbor St. South tower from what I hear is the same decor and comforts as the North. We stayed in the North tower and it was quiet. Cute little pool area with a bar as well. We were able to walk to Disney without any problems. Starbucks is on the way to the park and you have enough time to drink it on your way. Approx a 15 minute walk. Three blocks. There is also a Walgreens next to LuLus in case you needed to pick up any items or snacks. So for the price point we like to stay in for our Disney trips this has been my favorite!!
My legs got attacked by bed bugs . The hotel was nothing special besides its location and being within walking distance of Disneyland . I had higher expectations beings it was a premier best western. Was definitely let down . Didn't have a hot tub . The iron board and iron were damaged but still operable.
Such a cute hotel! Really friendly, helpful employees. This hotel really was super walkable to Disneyland which was an amazing plus. Hotel was really clean and the rooms were super comfortable, we had a great time! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there seems to be a stubborn mildew smell at a particular elevator and side entrance. I'm pretty sure this is due to people walking back from the hotel pool but other than that, it was really lovely stay.
Almost everything was great, the water pressure in the shower was really bad and when we left at 4.30am there was no one there to check out and we were in a rush. We love the welcome drink (super tasty) beds were great and the AC was amazing!
So close to Disney! The gentleman at the front desk I wish I caught his name was so helpful and accommodating. The ladies as well so helpful. I'll definitely be coming back. The only thing that I thought was meh was paying for parking but I got a discount for being a best Western member so that was awesome.
I recommend the stay here. Clean and close to Disney and stores! Nice pool area, and staff was friendly!! Microwave came in handy and so did the fridge. Comfy bed and pillows as well. Would stay again!
We stayed at Hotel Lulu for the first time for our trip to Disneyland. This hotel met all of our expectations, our room was clean, bedding and pillows were so comfy and the staff was outstanding. The view of Disneyland and the fireworks from our room were nice. Will definitely stay at Hotel Lulu our next trip.
Hotel met needs, nothing was fabulous and nothing was terrible. Our AC unit definitely did not work, we had a very warm, muggy room. We slept good enough and that was the only time we were there. Great proximity to Disneyland!
Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. I do wish there was a better coffee situation in the rooms. Tasters choice seems like a bit of a miss in this day and age of easily accessible coffee. Overall a decent experience and honestly is very close to Disney! I would recommend despite the odd offhand comment the person checking us in made about my husband looking old (probably a misstep over words, but it's a comment that made us take a second to recoup from)
Easy check in and out, clean rooms, plenty of parking. The cleaning crew are amazing and was super helpful to us! All in all we had an amazing trip! We would definitely stay there again. Close to Disneyland 7 min walk for us that was great. And lots of places to walk too.
The room was how I expected it would be the bathroom door handle was broken and the toilet was incredibly loud but we didn't care it worked and we was hardly in the room anyway the worse thing was having to pay to park!
Hotel Lulu far exceeded our expectations. As a Disney pass holder were on the hunt for a new go to Disneyland hotel. We were for looking for a clean, safe, friendly hotel with friendly staff. Let me tell you, Hotel Lulu checked all the boxes! The front of house staff were kind, knowledgeable and went out of our way to ensure that our stay was amazing. Six and Savannah were both spectacular. Six was working the evening we checked in and then the morning of the next stay. He was truly amazing. Hotel Lulu is lucky to have him as a part of their team. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to the convention center as well as the parks. We loved Hotel Lulu so much that we have already booked another stay there. We feel like we found a hidden gem in Anaheim. Everyone was so kind and caring, the lobby decor is fun and beachy and the location most certainly cannot be beat.
We stayed at Hotel Lulu while visiting Disneyland. The hotel is a little run down. The decor is a little strange and things don't seem to come together in a cohesive design. The staff was okay, no real issues but they didn't seem to want to be there. Perhaps they were tired as we checked in late in the evening. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The market in the lobby has some nice options for food. The location is obviously great - very close to everything. The room was comfortable, but dated. We had a okay view but it would have been nicer not to face a parking lot. We would stay again as it was very close to everything, perhaps the hotel will get rid of the tacky decor in the future. Very budget-friendly.
Very comfy beds & pillows! Nice blackout curtains and the AC was set at a comfortable 70 degrees. Bathrooms are spacious with plenty of towels. There isn't a fan and the bathtub can be a little slippery if you're not careful. The mini fridge is very small but perfect for 12oz can/bottles. The staff was amazing and always greeted us with a smile as we walked by!!
The customer service here is top notch. The employee that stands out the most is Cassandra. I hope I'm spelling that correctly. She works in the hotel restaurant. My only complaint is that there are interior areas that need paint touch ups. It wouldn't take much effort or cost to go around all the floors and rooms to do this.
Pros: 10-15 minute walk from Disney, nearby lots stores and eateries, cute lobby, pool, complimentary cocktail for adult and cookies for kids upon check in), clean room, mini fridge, and safe location. Cons: check in not until 4, parking is $29 +tax per night, no hot tub, no fan in the bathroom, and room felt a little humid. I stayed for 1 night with my 2 kids. I enjoyed that it was only a 10-15 minute walk to Disney which honestly is the like walking from the parking structure. It's also by stores, coffee shops and some little restaurants. The lobby was decorated cute and they gave me a complimentary cocktail and the kids Oreos upon check in, which was a nice treat. Paying for parking when I am already paying for a room is a definite pet peeve of mine and it was $29 and then they added tax on top. The only saving grace to that is I was able to park early and stay parked the next day without another charge. The room was clean but did feel a little humid, but overall a decent room that met basic needs, in a safe, walkable location. We did encounter a few issues... with check-in being on the later side I called in the afternoon to see if I could get an early check in as I had a tired child that needed a nap, I was told no check-ins until 4 due to them being sold out the night before. My daughter thankfully fell asleep in the stroller and me and my son walked slowly, stopped for some lunch and then were hot, tired and had nothing else to do so we finally just went to the lobby around 3:30 to just wait in the AC until check-in at 4, to find that people were checking in early! I wish he would of just said to call back and check instead of giving me a hard no. Then we get to the room and the kids want to watch TV while they eat a snack, but there was no remote anywhere, so called for one . They finished their snack and wanted to go swimming so we got changed and I went to put my valuables in the safe and it was already locked so had to call again. So now we were sitting with no TV and we couldn't go swimming until maintenance arrived with the remote and to fix the safe. He did get it fixed, but it ended up taking a 1/2 hour or more of the kids swim time away (we had to be back in the park at a certain time) so they were bummed with that. Then after getting back to the room really late, the alarm clock in the room which we never touched (I use my phone for alarms) went off at 6am, which is earlier than we wanted to get up resulting in some cranky kids.
It's clean and comfortable. Was surprised the breakfast was a real restaurant style experience and not a grab and go continental breakfast. Close to the Toy Story shuttles. Pleasant surprises all around. The front desk service was top notch and parking was convenient. My husband put this on the top of our hotel stays when visiting the parks.
All the staff were so professional and willing to help. Appreciated the great service, clean hotel room, and the willingness to help anytime, even during late at night. Would 100% stay again. Beautiful hotel.
Great hotel! Walking distance to the parks. Drink and snack at check in was awesome. Comfy beds. Love the remodel. Leaving our car was also very convenient when going back to the parks. Felt safe also.
It was a quick weekend stay at Hotel Lulu in Anaheim, the location was great the price was fair for the nights I stayed, but I felt that the rooms that I stayed in were in need of some repair, one room's refrigerator was not holding the cold everything I opened it there was water on the bottom and the bottle water were not really cold. The trash was not taken out the 3 nights I stayed I was told I had to request this before 10 am, I also had a cockroach in one room and ants and some green bug in the other room. The staff was very friendly they even offered a free breakfast after I told them about my bug problems but I was about to leave so I didn't accept it, but that was very nice of them.
Only one elevator worked, people were on strike across the street so it was loud. Other than that, it was comfortable, walk was longer than we remember. Loved that IHop was right next door and there was a Walgreens also.
The pillows and the bed were amazing the process was smooth as it could thank you guys at the Lulu Made it magical for us thank you for our wonderful trip at the lulu. Would recommend booking again for our tip to disney.
Great stay! Staff was wonderful, helpful, friendly, and funny We were on the 8th floor and got to watch the DL fireworks from the air conditioned comfort of our dbl queen room. Clean, comfy beds, shower pressure a little low but worked. Walking distance to DL, but pro tip. ART bus picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel. We never waited more than 5 minutes for the bus and we were at the park so fast. Seriously! Save the steps for inside the park! They have complimentary coffee and drinks and the pool looks great (actually too hot for us to use, but we will next time). We will be back!
Amazing would stay again. Easy check in and check out. Comfortable and clean room and easy walk to Disneyland. Competitive pricing. Update and modern room great amenities. They have a small market with drinks alcoholic and not alcoholic snacks and it look like it had a coffee bar, but was closed when I was there because I checked in late and checked out really early.
The room was great and the view beautiful. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of ideas of places to go in the area as well as various transportation. The quick market behind the check in lobby had everything we needed. Very nice restaurant on site. They offered a welcome cocktail. Unfortunately we don't drink alcohol. Wish they had an option for non alcohol beverages. It only seems fair.
Hotel Lulu was such an awesome treat! From the staff to the location we were so happy we stayed here! Granted we didn't use the amenities as we were there to do Disneyland but coming back to the room for an afternoon nap was all the amenity we needed! Bed was super comfy and the AC was so strong and really cooled our room on a hot august afternoon! The entire staff were welcoming and so hospitable and Gabby is a super star! It is a great value 3.5 star hotel with five star customer service! I Will be back for sure!
Hotel Lulu is our favorite hotel in Anaheim and we have stayed at probably 70% of the hotels around Disneyland. Perfect location for both the park and the convention center. We love the design of the hotel, like a smaller version of the Disneyland Hotel but very reasonably priced! But the highest compliment we can pay is to the staff! From the front desk, to housekeeping, and even maintenance everyone is very friendly, helpful, and appears to love working at Lulu! Oh and we love the pool for exercising and taking the grandson swimming, ping pong, fire pit, corn hole, and connect four!
My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and want to stay near Disneyland due to our park reservations. We decided on Lulu and it was definitely a great choice. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Parking lot is located on the back side. Breakfast was delicious!
Very friendly staff super clean rooms. Nice comfy beds. Secure parking. Disney decorated inside hallways. They have a They have a kitchen eatery, where kids eat free with a paid adult. Only downfall is a little far from Disney to be charging for parking.
Rooms are always clean and inviting. When I had to add an additional night to stay they did so with no problem. Being a quick walk to Disneyland is a plus. Thus tends to be my go to place to stay when I'm in town.
the hotel has a good location about 2 blocks from Disneyland, with shops and restaurants nearby too. it looks great from the outside front view, and inside it is a bit dated and old looking. there are old air conditioning machines in the rooms, not climate control devices; there did not seem to be true thermostat sensing. staff are friendly and helpful, although at the front desk i would suggest that non-reception staff give priority access to reception staff to the guests. staff also had good awareness of available "city shuttle" services, and referals for ECV rentals and food delivery. i found the restaurant surprisingly good! a pity that it is only open for breakfast.
Nice staff, clean rooms, and comfy beds. Also so convenient to Disneyland. We walked back after the park closed at around 1am and felt safe. They offer a welcome drink that I didn't want before going into Disneyland so they said I could get it after. A nice end to the day!
The hotel was okay for price and location to Disney. Parking was 30$ (nonrefundable) a day and there is a 50$ deposit overnight fee (refundable). We stay in the south tower and it felt musty/ humid, like the ac wasn't working. We went to our room on the 3 floor where the ac did not blow cold air at all. Front desk was kind about the situation and gave us a new room, however our new room ( also in south tower, third floor) blew cold air but did not blow on the high setting only low. The water pressure was nonexistent. I was showering with my toddlers and it was on warm then it changed temps to extremely hot. I thought that putting the water temp lower would fix it but it didn't, the shower was close to off and still extremely hot. The fridge in the room was also hot. I get it's summer but working utilities is not a high standard. On the bright side we were offered complimentary vodka lemonades upon arrival. For the price, I would wish they offered free breakfast considering it isn't a 4 star hotel but that's a charge of 30$ per adult.
Great hotel. Rooms were clean and staff was great. Only big problem for us is we had to keep getting new key cards whenever we left our room. Keys kept erasing no matter what we tried (kept cards away from phones, wallets, etc). This is the one thing that would possibly keep us from booking again.
Lulu is a great hotel with amazing staff. They were friendly and attentive with our needs. The hotel has a great layout for the Anaheim area with an easy walk to both Disney, downtown Disney and the Garden Walk. Highly recommend this hotel! I have stayed both on a solo trip and with student groups every experience has been one to be thankful for.
Very convenient location and good service. We had a great time. When we needed anything they were quick to bring up. The parking yes it's expensive but your car is in safe location. So overall good experience.
My boyfriend and I love our stays with Lulu! The location is convenient, the staff is always so helpful and kind, and we've never felt any shame in requesting more towels! (You'd be surprised. ;) ) The welcome cocktail for those 21+ is also such a cool touch; it starts off any stay with a vacay vibe. Looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Lulu for all you do!
Friendly front desk staff, clean rooms and comfortable, bit of an older hotel in some parts but was safe and enjoyable. Was awesome to get free beverages on check in! Pool area was nice but pool towels could be revamped they had some stains on them.
The lady who checked us in was very rude. She offered a couple in front of us complementary drinks saying it came with the stay. She didn't offer the same complementary drinks to my husband and I. The first room we checked into, had a bunch of ants by the coffee pot and all in the restroom. The room smelled musty, we went downstairs before even taking any of our stuff in to let the front desk know. The same girl who checked us in was there again. When we told her she seemed bothered and demanded the key cards to the room back as if we were trying to scam her. She took the keys. She rolled her eyes and assigned us a different room, which we were thankful for. Upon checking into the second room, there were ants in the restroom and hair in the bathtub but we decided to let it go since we had just drove five hours, and we were tired. The next morning we got up to start our day and tried to use the iron, it had a huge piece of burnt plastic on it so we called the front desk to see if we were able to get a new one. We were told someone would bring it right over, 45 minutes later we still didn't have one. We called back and we were told that we would have it in a few minutes. Another 20 minutes went by and nothing. We decided to get ready and leave for the day, we left and placed a do not disturb sign on the front door. Upon arrival back to the hotel about eight hours later, we arrive to women's undergarments in front of our hotel door, and an iron on the bathroom counter. Did the do not disturb sign not mean anything to them? When we checked out, our parking ticket wasn't working, and would not allow us out. We walked up to the front desk to ask them if they would be able to help us, and the same lady who checked us in grabbed the ticket from my hand, roughly walked away to a different computer, did some thing and handed the ticket back to me. A few seconds of silence went by and I asked her was there anything else we needed to do without looking up; She said that's it. It honestly was a horrible experience, we are not picky people we are very understanding and we do not give you bad reviews normally. We understand things happen, and one off instances occur. But this was a very horrible experience and more than likely will not ever return to this facility.
Conveniently located next to Disneyland, stores, and restaurants this was a very nice place to stay. The staff was excellent, the rooms are nice, with secured parking with easy access. Everything you need is within walking distance. A great placed for both local traveller's and Disney enthusiasts.
My family and I stayed here last year and our rooms were mixed up. I did not want to return but my children enjoyed themselves, so we booked this location. I will not be returning, our room had hair on the towels. The room window was left slightly open which mosquitoes entered our room to bite us during the night. I explained our situation with the front desk. Service here accommodated us with one free day of parking.
Savannah was amazing! Clean and spacious room. Great location. So glad we found this hotel. Minor down side, breakfast was not included. Laundry faciliti3s on site allowed us to go home with clothes ready to be put away.
Our stay was GREAT...comfortable beds, clean room, great distance to Disneyland, great pool to relax in after walking all day, and great warm breakfast to get your day started. We are very happy with our stay and will be staying there more often.
This was such a fun spot! Loved the vibe and close to all the things we needed to get to-with a great little pool. Convenient, clean, and comfortable. And we loved the welcome cocktail! I imagine families would enjoy this spot so close to Disneyland.
Our experience was great. Room and Bathroom were clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Staffs were kind. Room service was delivered by a robot (cool). 17mins walking to Disneyland Park was pretty easy and walk back after fire works was safe. We felt safe during our stay. Thank you Best Western Premier Lulu for making our stay a pleasant one. Would recommend this hotel.
Oddly, I was most excited at the ease of parking. It is pass secured in/out. So many spots and easy to access any entrance closest to your room. Buildings can only be accessed with your key at night. The woman who checked me in was friendly and answered all my questions. Beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy. Didn't get to try the pool, but maybe next time. Would stay again and recommend to friends.
Breakfast was included in the rate. Buffet style. Pool was nice. There were 2 floaties for the kids to use. Alcohol beverage was a nice added touch. 10-15 minute walk to Disneyland Park. You may park up t0 1159 the day of checkout
Very convenient, great customer service during our stay! Room was clean and we had a lovely welcoming drink at our arrival. Pool was nice to refresh during the hot day. We will be considering staying again if ever in the same area.
Nice room. Clean and pretty quiet. Easy Access and front desk very accommodating. Parking simple as well. I would stay there again. Loved having ihop and Starbucks right there. Easy Walk to everywhere.
Best hotel experience all around! Pool was so fun! Our entire family had a blast! Ping pong, corn hole, swimming and cocktails! Rooms were perfect! Definitely coming back soon . It's also close to everything you need and want
The pillows are amazing and the bed was very comfy! But the staff was the best! Especially Anand (not sure if this is the right name) he was the best though! They have a robot that brings things to your room if you request it!!! The breakfast buffet was fantastic as well as the welcome drink! Plus it is walking distance to Disney!!! We can't wait to come back to Lulu for our next Disney trip!
Room was very good. As expected. Service is ok. Location is great. Stuff were nice and polite. Place is not a new building but they kept it maintained. Pool was very good. Not big but hood. Parking little expensive but safe.
Great staff, low key boutique hotel close to everything. Comfortable and quiet stay 5min walk to the convention center and 12 min walk to Disney at a kids pace. Room service is not great but fast if you need it. Will stay here again for business or with family.
This was our first stay with Hotel Lulu and not only was it was the more affordable option that was walking distance from Disneyland...but it was a much pleasurable stay. First off, the lobby staff were so kind. We were able to get our room early and received a complimentary cocktail. (Which was delicious) They were so easy to work with and talk to and was a smooth experience. The room itself was very nice as well. Seems updated and clean. We didn't need to have our room cleaned but that is upon request and parking is around $30 nightly. Loved this stay here very much and will come back again!
I highly recommend Hotel Lulu. The theming of the hotel is so cute. It's a 70,s style beach theme hotel. Upon check in, adults even get a complimentary vodka lemonade. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator were a plus as well. This hotel is located right next to the Toy Story lot so it was easy to walk in and take the free shuttles to Disneyland. Also, you are able to keep your car parked until midnight of your check out date! So we never had to pay for Disney parking . There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well. Just a convenient location. Also next to a Walgreens. I also think the price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.
Savanna was so kind snd courteous . She let us know that if we needed anything to just give her a call at the front desk. Everyone was so nice who works at the lulu. I like the idea of feeling safe snd that's what I felt at the lulu safe snd comfortable.
Super friendly staff. I loved the check-in cocktail, and enjoyed the property. Now trip advisor wants me to hit a minumum of 200 words, so I am just aimlessly typing. I feel I said all that needs to be said already. Yay hit the minimum.
This hotel is an easy walking distance from Disneyland. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and very affordable! We have stayed here several times and have never had an issue and love the convenience of it's location.
The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean and the location was amazing pillows were soft enough and had multiple pillows as an option. It is pity that the parking lot is paid, but its very pleasant that many needs can be met by walking.
,The front desk was very helpful, i didn't like my view of my first room but the front desk was very helpful and got me a better view and was very helpful. Will definitely come soon again. The room was great as well
This was our third stay in one year at hotel, Lulu. The staff is courteous, helpful and kind. The complementary drink upon arrival is always a nice touch. The pool is great and we enjoy that we're only a few short steps to the front gates of the Magic Kingdom.
Stayed 2 nights here. Easy check in and friendly staff, big thanks to Natalie ? working the afternoon shift. Very comfy beds, clean rooms and great location. Parking was easy. They had trolleys for packing your luggage with nice big wheels ( makes mush easier going over bumps and door jams). Good lighting all around hotel and easy to find you room. Great location while visiting Disneyland, lots of food options close by and transit just out the door. Highly recommend and would stay again
My stay here was more than I expected! Front desk was friendly and helpful with early check in and parking. Free cookies for my granddaughter, free adult beverage for me at bedtime and free breakfast for granddaughter in a.m. with purchase of adult meal. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and I definitely felt safe traveling alone with a child. I would stay here again! My new favorite! Granddaughter loved it too.
I have stayed here twice in the last month while visiting Disneyland Resort. I am thrilled with the experience I've had. The hotel is nice and clean, and the service both times has been fantastic. The one single downside is staying here….. there is no hot tub. They do have a heated pool, though. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
I really enjoyed staying here with my wife. Everything is truly within walking distance, Disneyland, dining, shopping, sightseeing. Busing is available on all four corners of the street. The rooms are modern and the beds are comfortable and pillows are plush. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place to stay for a Disney trip.
Great place to stay for my son's SoCal volleyball tournament in January. Walking distance to Disneyland in Anaheim conference Center. Free breakfast in the morning and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely be coming back in June.
Was able to get an early checkin which was nice. However, the bathtub didn't drain and the air unit had no heat and it was quite chilly, so they moved us. Housekeeping shares the same elevators and one wasn't working, so it took forever to get around. It's a great location, but there are plenty more locally to choose from. I would look elsewhere first.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean and we loved the lobby décor. The free check-in cocktails were a great touch too. Unfortunately there were a few issues when we were there. We had to continually get our key cards reset, including one time when we were wet and cold after going in the pool. The first time it happened they said it had something to do with going through all the sensors at Disneyland – but it made no sense to keep happening repeatedly. Our room was also never cleaned while we were there. We noticed after Day 1 that we were supposed to request that, so we did – and it still was not cleaned. I also asked for an email receipt when checking out but haven't received it yet (any other hotel this has always been immediate).
The hotel is great, it is not the newest but it was recently renovated and the staff is excellent. It is walking distance to Disneyland, there's an iHop next to the hotel and a Walgreens in the corner. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Everything was great. My only complaint would be that the walls are very thin. You can hear almost everything in the adjacent rooms. I was told that this is an old building so it does not surprise me. Re-insulating the walls would be a major undertaking and cost a lot of money so I understand why it wasn't done. Besides we spent most of our time in Disneyland Resort so it really didn't bother us because we were exhausted by the time we got back to our room.
Great stay, great beds, short walk to Disneyland. Leave the hotel, turn left, about one block turn left again, then short walk to Disneyland Toy Story parking lot where you can catch the Disneyland free shuttle.
I had booked a package thru Disneyland. Paid for room and tickets up front. After a fun week at Disneyland with my friends, I checked out of our hotel. I am a Magic Key holder, so the room was booked under my friend's name, but I paid for the room. Upon returning home, I find out that they charged me the full price for the room on my credit card the day I checked out. I didn't understand, as when I checked in I told them that it was prepaid thru Disneyland and they verified that, yes I had a paid package. Honestly, I was going to give the hotel a decent review, but after being charged over $1000 and 10 days later, I still have no refund, yes very unhappy. I have also contacted Disney to report this hotel. I have used Disney Travel a few times in the past and never had a problem. I will use them again, but never again for this hotel. I don't understand how you can close your books for the week and not notice two payments for the same reservation/room and then not immediately refund the customer. Bad Business.
We loved staying here. The Libby was clean and welcoming. Parking was easy and staff were friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the parks. Also close to remote parking for Disney. Room was clean and had tea kettle to make tea or instant coffee. Mini fridge and microwave make it for easy quick mornings.
The only reason I am filling out this survey is because of Savannah at the front desk. I come to Anaheim often, and only chose Hotel Lulu this time due to a last minute change in plans. Upon arriving, Savannah was incredibly gracious and welcoming, and went above and beyond to answer any questions I had and provide helpful information to make my stay better. She also called me shortly after checking in to let me know an electric scooter I had ordered was delivered. Every engagement with her was friendly and inviting. I manage a bank, and if Savannah lived closer, I'd be trying to recruit her away! The hotel is also great! Remodeled lobby and lounge area. Also great proximity to Disneyland.
Full disclosure, I had planned on staying at the Candy-cane up the street, but they haven't reopened yet and my reservation was canceled. Someone on Facebook recommended Hotel Lulu as an alternative. It proved to be a great suggestion! Very friendly staff, cheerful lobby decorated for the holidays. Bed was VERY comfortable and I paid extra for a view of fireworks from DL. The view was great. An easy ten minute walk to Disney. My only “complaint “ is that the towels are very thin, but this is a minor issue.
Great remodeled Hotel. Quick check in with a complimentary cocktail offered! The staff had put balloons in our room for my daughters birthday. Our room was super clean and very cute, I loved the electric kettle. The breakfast was great in the restaurant and a good value for the money. The location was great for Disneyland being right by the toy Story lot. It took us 15 minutes to get from the hotel and through security to the main gate. Wonderful friendly staff. Great experience!! Will definitely be staying again!!
Came up for Disneyland and everything was great. Only issue was with the breakfast tickets we weee given other than that everything was great. Check in was super easy and fast. A short 10 minute walk to go Disney.
Really cute redone hotel. They did a good job making it feel kid friendly and modern, knowing it use to be just an older hotel. Great value, kind staff, yummy food. Walkable to park, only issue we had was a food allergy that the cook was not careful about, but they fixed it when we brought it up and apologized. Would stay again. It was also quite and my ADHD/ASD son was able to sleep because it was quite on the higher floor.
The hotel looks cute on the surface, but the room we stayed in had peeling wallpaper, old shower head that had poor water pressure and a LOUD ac/heating unit. There was a cute pour over kettle for INSTANT coffee (seriously???) The blankets and sheets were so old and worn out.
It was a great location and just walking distance from Disneyland. Staff were so welcoming, didn't matter what time of day we came in! Hotel lulu will be seeing us again in the near future. Worth it for the price.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Lulu. We usually stay at a BW property directly across from the parks just for convenience, but this hotel was far better, more affordable, and the distance from the parks was not a far walk at all. The room was clean (including the carpet/floors), bathroom was nice and big and remodeled, love the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers, no sound between walls (only from noisy guests running down the hallway after coming back from the parks, but it was minimal), and INCREDIBLY comfortable beds that made our sleep waaaay better than stays at other hotels. And I can't believe how low the price is for how awesome the hotel is, AND I get my Best Western points!! It's our new favorite!!
Rooms were clean. Customer service was excellent at check in and check out. Coffee shop service was great and coffee tasted great. Rooms only had hot water carafe with instant coffee which was not good. Bath tub water was slow draining but issue was fixed right away. We took Lyft to the parks everyday but there is a bus stop right in frint.
A basic hotel that's an easy walk to Disney and decently priced. Front desk staff was friendly. A little wear in the tub but nothing that noticeable. The safe was broken but maintenance was able to come in and fix it within the hour. We needed a mobility scooter for someone in our party and it was able to get delivered there without issue.
This place was so cute and clean!! It was so cozy and the price was perfect compared to all the other ones. This would definitely be my choice to stay again ! One problem I chose the firework veiw room and we didn't see any :(
Super nice customer relations person, Ray, greeted me and checked me in a bit early with only sympathy for my long day of travel, none of that hassle about early check-in charges that other hotels sometimes do. I got help with directions from him, as well. Nice room. All good!
This past month I got to stay at hotel lulu. The hotel is right across the street from Disneyland. I actually choose to stay here since I was attending a concert at the Honda center which is less than 3 miles away from Hotel Lulu. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and check in by Adan. The check in process was super easy. They even gave us complementary drinks. The room was super cozy and comfortable. We were able to keep our drinks cold in the fridge with no problem. I already booked my next stay for next month. Thank you Hotel lulu and staff for making me feel safe and comfortable at your hotel.
Very close to Disney, easy walk, nice employees. It was very clean and I felt safe being there. I would definitely stay there again. I enjoyed my stay and so did everyone in my group. Overall a very good hotel
Booked Hotel after such good reviews and closeness to Disneyland , did not disappoint. Was able to see the fireworks from our bedroom window at 9.30 pm. The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly which is such an asset. To name two Shannon and Aiden , but all staff were more than helpful. The hotel was clean and we had a kettle and microwave in our room which was such an asset . If ever I went to Anaheim again I would definitely go to Hotel Lulu again
This is my second stay at this hotel for a family Disney trip. The hotel is adorable, has a great pool, an excellent coffee bar, the staff is very friendly, and the location cannot be beat. Such an easy walk to the parks!
The rooms were super clean and the staff was all amazing ! The Kia at ion is so close to the park you can walk or shuttle on over! You can use the Disney shuttle which is right next door! We will definitely be staying here again
I love staying near Disneyland and I almost didn't book Hotel Lulu because I wanted to be right across the street. I am so glad I stayed here because the location was just perfect!!! The ART tram picked up right in front of the hotel. But the best part was how clean and comfortable the hotel was. The staff was amazing and so personable. Hotel Lulu is my new favorite hotel and I will only book with them now.
Had 2 rooms and neither one did the refrigerator work in an when you need to keep insulin cold there is an issue with the fridge which did not even have a freezer so you could keep an ice pack cold that is a big problem
Hotel Lulu was clean and conveniently located. No shuttle available to Disneyland but about 3 blocks walking distance. Very friendly/helpful front desk staff. We came in late one night to the restaurant. It was closed but the lady there got us hot chocolate! So nice! No fan in the bathroom so it does get pretty steamy/hot quickly.
Front desk was very friendly and informative. Complimentary milano cookies (for kids) and cocktail (for adult) was nice. The room was clean and spacious however, my reservation was for a single king and we ended up with 2 queens. We were on the 4th floor and the room was very warm, even with AC set at 63. It blew cold air, but the vents were pointed up so the rest of the room couldn't cool down. Between the upstairs neighbors, toilets flushing, people next door, and housekeeping, sleep was nearly impossible which made it hard to get rest after a long day at Disney and having to travel the next day. We asked for a window facing disney so we could catch the fireworks show (as advertised) but we could hardly see because the Hilton across the street blocked the view. Parking (through our travel agency) was 20/night so be prepared to leave a security deposit at check in. Parking is taken out of the deposit. I was told it would be $100 and they charged my card $159. Supposedly I will get all but the parking charge back. Disneyland is about a 15 min walk or you can pay for a "shuttle". You purchase tickets through an app for the whole day but be sure your phone doesnt die before getting back to the hotel because if you cannot show your ticket before boarding, they will not let you on. Overall, it was an ok experience. The lobby and hallways are decorated with cute disney things and disney plus plays in the lobby. Next time, I would stay on a lower level because the temperature was much cooler.
Wonderful! We decided to give the Lulu a try and were so happy we did! Convenient location, nice rooms, cute decor and a great heated pool area. We would recommend and definitely return ! Lots of restaurants and Walgreens close by. Did I mention Friendly staff. 15-20 min walk to Disney.
Only took a few minutes to drive from the Disneyland garage. Easy and quick check in. Very comfy beds. Lovely decor. Yummy breakfast. Will definitely stay again in the future. Next time we'll definitely use the shuttle to and from the park.
I came to Anaheim just for Disneyland and chose this hotel specifically because it's walking distance to Disneyland and affordable. I read reviews and knew it's just an average hotel and wasn't expecting anything except for a place to sleep overnight and a place to park my car. The parking lot is behind the hotel and it's easy to get in and out. The front desk staff was also really nice and helpful. The room was spacious and ok. The towels were so old and non absorbent. It's like all the cotton has been worn out and should've been trashed years ago. The pool was freezing cold, with a bunch of annoying kids running around and screaming, and parents didn't do anything about it, so it was hard to relax at the pool, but that didn't bother me because I didn't come there to relax at a pool. The most annoying part was on the day of check out at around 9am, housekeeping knocked on my door and asked if I was ready to check out which was extremely rude. I had until 11am to check out and I was trying to sleep in a bit and she woke me up and ruined my morning. I even had a do not disturb sign hanging on my door and she knocked anyway. I overheard she knocked on the next door and asked the same and the guest in that room was irritated. If management is reading this, I would suggest you train your staff to never do this to your guests. I was satisfied overall because it was as expected and I liked the proximity to Disneyland, but would probably not stay here again because of the rude housekeeping.
I forgot some of my jewelry in a drawer when I checked out. Called them back as soon as I realized I left it in the nightstand drawer. They told me to call the next morning to talk to that shift supervisor. Called in the morning, front desk says the shift supervisor will return my call. They never called back. I call again, front desk says nothing was found. They didn't ask for my name, a description of what was left behind not sure what to think except they could be hiding something. I am now noticing they are not even answering my phone calls so I can offer a reward. Please remember all your belongings when you check out.
The staff was very helpful and we felt secure with the parking lot very secured! This was our first time at this hotel. Hopefully we can sign up for points love it! Beds were comfortable and room was very clean!
We were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail which was a pleasant surprise and a wonderful first impression. This set the tone for our stay, which was wonderful. Excellent front desk service from Natalie, clean room in excellent condition and a quiet stay. My wedding ring was misplaced and the hotel staff and management was right there to help us look for it! They were all so helpful and caring
A very good first impression on our first visit here. Lobby was clean, as were the hallways and room. Happy we had a good view to S Harbor Blvd. Very happy there 4 large pillows on each queen bed. The AC worked with a small rattle that was somewhat acceptable. Microwave and refrigerator were nice except we needed a freezer for our ice blocks. Bathroom was very clean and nice clean white towels. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles that were in the shower needed to be refilled, but we brought our own to use in addition to what was there.
This is a great hotel. It's close to the park. It's pretty much like all the other hotels in the area, but maybe a little on the nicer side. We stayed one night, but we went to the park for two days. So we were able to check out and then store our bags in the car and keep the car in their parking lot for the whole day. The staff was super nice too.
This stay was amazing. Hotel was gorgeous and staff was so friendly. They give you an IPA as you check in. Room was HUGE!!! It was so clean also and nice shower. Best stay I have had this whole trip. Only an 8 minute walk to Disney. Laundry facilities were very clean. Do not overlook this hotel, it is worth it!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room were clean and comfortable with a great working A/C. I would stay here again due to the convenience of being close to Disneyland Parks and the comfort of the hotel!
We were greeted by amazing staff that checked in with our stay every time we passed by. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the air conditioner worked well during an unseasonably hot week. We had a tasty dinner in the cafe and the staff was very nice. The only complaint would be that the pocket door on the bathroom does not cover the entire doorway so it's not so friendly when traveling with others. The walk to the convention center and Disneyland were quick and easy. It's located next to a CVS for any extra needs during your stay. Keep in mind that the room only has instant coffee, but you can purchase coffee in the lobby or at the cafe. We would definitely stay here again, if only to say hello to Shannon at the front desk.
They did a really nice job renovating the rooms. Everything was clean and quiet. Great location near Harbor & Katella, easy walk to the parks or the Convention Center. Loved the welcome drink at check-in, and the soaps/shampoo in the shower were surprisingly luxurious despite being in dispensers.
This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff is unbelievably kind and helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean. Housekeeping is on-request so the days we requested it the rooms were cleaned well. We asked for more towels and they were delivered in less than 5 minutes. Super easy walk to the convention center and Disneyland, with a really convenient IHOP and Walgreens literally next door. HIGHLY recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Anaheim.
Lulu was in a great location for my friends and I. The walk to Disneyland was less than 15 minutes. We saved on uber/transportation. The hotel was clean itself and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again. Thank you.
The staff at Hotel LuLu were amazing. They made our Disneyland trip even more magical. Shannon at the front desk was so helpful and we loved that we could check in early before the day in the park. One minor item to be aware of is that there are additional parking fees on top of the parking price (although these are fairly minor). Thanks for an excellent stay!
We had a 50th Anniversary party at Hotel Lulu this weekend and the service was exceptional. The ballroom was clean and the tables were appropriately spaced out, just as we requested. They had a hand sanitizer station right before the buffet area so our attendees felt very safe. We had absolutely no issue that was not addressed timely and with satisfactory results. We were particulary impressed with how the hotel staff anticipated our needs--constantly coming by the ballroom to check in on us. Our attendees raved about the delicious food and the overall positive attitude of the staff. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years and could not offer any suggestions for improvement. You were all so awesome and we thank you for such a perfect evening!
Everything was clean, everyone was friendly. Great experience here. When checking in, we were offered a cocktail (complimentary). This stay exceeded my expectations. Definitely will recommend to friends.
…more time here! Hotel Lulu is our new favourite place to stay! I extended our stay from 1 night to 3 nights because we were enjoying it so much! Comfy beds, great pool, amazing staff and very close to Disney! (short walking distance) The hotel was an old Red Lion and you would NEVER know it! Best Western acquired it and they have done an incredible job of updating every inch of this space! It's beautiful, modern, clean and definitely has a boutique hotel feel. This will now be our first choice every time we visit Disneyland or the Anaheim/LA area!
My Family and I have stayed at Lulus now around 4 times. We are from out of town but love to travel and visit not only Anaheim but Los Angeles in general. My Husband and I have two children. They automatically now know Lulus and love staying here. It's so convenient as it's close to not only Disneyland CA but to all other great Restaurants, Stores and even beaches. Staff is very Polite, and friendly. Rooms are perfect for my little family. They are spacious, clean, and have a microwave and a fridge in each room which is a plus because we have stayed in previous hotels whom do not offer such appliances. They also give the kids cookies and Adults get a complimentary cocktail upon arrival, Which those are greatly appreciated bonus and Even when we have came to visit family in Los Angeles we book at Lulus. We enjoy and look forward to our next visit and stay at Hotel Lulu
me and my family stayed at the hotel Lulu check in was nice quick and easy offered complementary cocktails and cookies for the kids there is an IHOP and Walgreens next-door and the walk to Disneyland is very short upon entering the room it is very clean fresh towels in the restroom it has a mini fridge and a microwave which is always good when you have kids I will definitely recommend this hotel to many others
Just 10min walk to Disneyland front gate. Great outside services located at walkin distance: Wallgreens, Starbucks, IHOP, CVS. Our room had a good view of fireworks. Good parking, but wish the didnt charge parking!! Besides that, all good. Its going to be our GO TO hotel for Disney trips!!
We usually stay at the same hotel every time we travel. At our last day we had a horrible experience. We tried Lulu for the first time and What A Difference! We had an amazing stay! I was pleasantly please and we will return in a few weeks.
Really cute little hotel! Super comfy beds and great staff. We loved how close it was to the Disneyland resort and theme parks. We could walk down really easily. The pool deck was a little dirty, but the rooms were great!
Booked this hotel for Disneyland trip. Overall was a great stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. Shower water pressure could have been a little better but no biggie. Great value for money. Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and accomadating.
The Hotel was clean and bright and the staff was always pleasant and welcoming. The pool is too deep for small children but that's not really the draw for a hotel 0.6 miles away from Disneyland. If you are tired and decided to take a bus back to the hotel it is the number 4. The staff told me it was number three in error.
Everything about this hotel is amazing. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and the facilities (fitness center and pool) are well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.
So I have had the opportunity to travel and stay at varied hotels locally and internationally. Expectations was very low for this stay. Found Hotel Lulu on various websites and all was fairly decent reviews. The decision to stay here was purely based on the fact that Hotel Lulu had better reviews than some of its competitors with more stars in the same area for less. Experience: We arrived at around 1am from a last minute Disney trip that we planned the night before. We were greeted by Laura and Anna. They were very welcoming and checking in was an absolute breeze. Got our keys and up to the 8th floor we went for some much needed zzz. Breakfast was awesome. They literally have an iHop next door and a few more steps is Starbucks with a Walgreens. iHop was packed, the early crowd was there in full force but thankfully we were in no rush to go anywhere. Recommend going after 1030am to avoid the shenanigans. Disney: It was walking distance from the hotel, it was amazing. First time not having to pay for parking or any ride share service to get there. It's approximately 2 very long blocks of walking. The whole staff was amazing and had the pleasure meeting Gabby who I didn't know was their GM at the time but she made us feel comfortable, always asking how they could make our stay more memorable. Very satisfied, surprised and will be coming back soon. This was a better stay than some 5 star hotels I've experienced, yes there are some "extra" amenities that you will not find here but who really uses those. Comparing to The Grand Californian inside the park which by far was and is the worst stay Ive ever had at a price undeserving of any customers. That place can offer me a free stay and I wouldn't take it. Hotel Lulu delivered! Amazing staff, great management and the price is more than fair. Last note for the entitled crowd. Not everything is free and not all hotels give you free breakfast. READ the description before booking your stay, trust me it helps to set up expectations.
Stayed 4 nights at the hotel and they only provide room service upon request. We requested it only the third day. We were gone to Disney all day and upon return they hadn't cleaned our room. So we had dirty towels and sheets and food that smelled the room up. They only compensated us one parking night which I found ridiculous also.
Spend the hundred dollars more to stay at another hotel in the area. Our room flooded the first day we were there. Everything was poor quality, and garbage everywhere. Staff did the minimum in service and resolution. Fixtures were broke, no water pressure, no hot water, A/C barely functioned, pool was tiny and over ran, stains everywhere, garbage everywhere, beds were marble slabs. Just not worth the money
My husband and i stayed for 3 nights during 4th of July weekend. Fair warning for the price breakfast is not included, our room did not lock, the ice machine was broken, no hand sanitizer in dispensers, and the “refrigerator” is actually a cooler that only stays cold for 2 hour periods before you have to press the cold button again. We were comped our breakfast during checkout and then harassed by an employee for asking for a to go container. Other than the one employee during breakfast service was generally pretty good! However for the price you are much better off staying at one of the many other BW hotels.
Super nice and helpful staff! LOVED the rooms and hotel decor. Overall wonderful stay for my family. Also in a perfect location. Would definitely stay again and recommend for a Disney weekend stay super close to parks!
The staff at Hotel Lulu were friendly and efficient and remembered us each time we passed. We had no issues during our stay and the hotel was clean and conveniently close to the parks. Comfy beds were great and the room sizes were sufficient.
Great stay. Location was a short walk to the parks. Welcome cocktail upon arrival. Room was nice, beds were comfortable. A recommendation would be to provide complimentary bottles of water in the room. We will stay here again on our next trip to Disneyland and DCA.
The staff was very nice. It was a good pool bar and the pool was nice. It wasn't too packed. I thought it was very clean and in a perfect area to visit Disney. We checked out a day early but would have loved to stay the full time.
The location of this hotel is great and the bed was comfortable. Other than that…no coffee maker in the room, no outlet anywhere near the desk..(the lamp that was literally on the desk was unplugged since there was no outlet), I had to work in bed since there was no where to sit that I could be plugged in. The bathroom had a pedestal sink, no countertop and a tiny bookcase next to it that had no room, no fan in the bathroom either. When we asked for a different room with a vanity, we were told that all rooms were the same which was wrong since our friend down the hall had a completely different room then us and we paid the same price. The downstairs lobby looked nice but the guy that was supposed to be able to get make higher end coffees told me he didn't know how and no one else on staff in the mornings did either so I got no coffee either. As I said, not impressed.
Staff was super nice and helpful, our room was honestly really clean which I was surprised about that. The location is freaking perfect though and the ihop right next door definitely helps. Right around the corner there's cvs and Starbucks.
Staff is very caring and friendly. A very quick walk to the parks. Located close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Pool is nice and was heated. There are games and a bar out at the pool. We would not hesitate to stay again.
Wow, what a disappointment. The only thing new about this hotel is the name. TV was broken and shower was backed up. We switched rooms and the front desk said they would comp our parking but they did not. The room is outdated. Nothing was changed or updated from when this property was Red Lion. The only reason to stay here is the location across from the convention center. Next time, I will stay at Hilton or Hyatt property.
Very clean, great hotel with an awesome vibe upon entering. About 1/2 mile to Disney gates, great location. Very accommodating for our last minute reservation at 10pm after a bad experience at a nearby hotel.
Staff went above and beyond to make our trip exciting and memorable. We even were given a custom breakfast at the quick counter when they were out of our original choice! Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at Hotel Lulu was amazing, we stayed there 3 nights for our trip to Disneyland. Hotel staff was so nice and helpful, Toy Story parking is right next to the hotel so we used it every day, though walking is close but we wanted to save time going through security at the parking lot. Beds were super comfortable, clean rooms, 7-11, Ihop, starbucks, Blaze pizza and more restaurants next to the hotel. Hiéndale we were very comfortable and happy with our stay. Thank you Hotel Lulu, I always recommend this hotel whenever I can, always recommend to Disney travelers on Disney groups, posted some stories on instagram and had some friends and family stay there already and they loved it as well!! You won't regret booking Hotel Lulu my friends! I am staying there again by the end of the month and any time I am back at the parks!
Hotel LuLu has become one of my top hotels in the Disneyland area. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful, and it's a quick walk to the parks. This is a no frills hotel, but I had everything I needed and the price was right. I highly recommend this place for a clean comfortable room to crash in at the end of those long Disney days.
Upon early arrival, we where allowed for early checkin as we had to drive to East L.A When we returned I noticed the views from window was the wall from building next door and pipes and Ducts system, definitely not what was the room description during the booking. After talking to receptionist, he kindly moved us to a better room with amazing views. Overall experience was great, just be aware the room you get is not the first 3 floors in the North Building
I decided to check this hotel out since it's priced right and close to Disneyland. It was within walking distance to Disneyland and the Garden Walk. The towels and sheets were nice and everything was clean.
I had a wonderful experience at hotel Lulu I go to a lot of best westerns and this is one of the best ones I highly recommend you stay in here if you're going to Disneyland or anywhere in Los Angeles area it's very clean comfortable and they have a closet with a door and a great view inconvenient walking distance to Disneyland land as well and food nearby the staff is extremely nice and I know and they have a really nice heated pool and a bar area with a restaurant and convenient parking and a good elevator. Being able to text the front desk for your needs was also extremely convenient. The purple cocktail was amazingly tasty. I would definitely stay here again every time I come back to Disneyland in Los Angeles which is a few times a month. Thank you for the amazing experience for me and my disabled children.
When we first arrived, there was a foul egg/wet carpet odor on the fourth floor. The room offered instant coffee and there was no suitcase stand in the room. The toilet didn't work properly, it took three attempts to flush all the way. The bar didn't open until 4:30 pm each day and at the pool there is no hot tub/spa. The rooms are very small and this is an older hotel. We had two queen beds for three adults. It was a tight squeeze. We were better off booking a cheaper hotel, like the Clarion. I think this is the same quality as the Clarion with a higher price point. I need to note, my grievances are with the property only, the staff was very nice and friendly. The location was also a plus. Walgreens, CVS, and restaurants were very close. It's a bit a long walk to the Disney parks. By the third day, we had to get a bus pass to save our feet.
Stay on the 1st floor if possible. The pool bar is cool. I hop is beside. Walgreens & CVS is near the hotel. There is Garden Walk has All kinds of restaurants and things to do. Plus walk to disney and the convention center.
Very impressed with the Managment here. I was not expecting above and beyond and that's what I got! Blew my mind to be honest, would recommend 10/10 and so close to Disney I went for my birthday can't wait to go back
We stay here most rips to Disneyland. Walking distance to the park & theres also CVS close by for snack & water needs. A Starbucks on your way to the park to beat the downtown Disney location mad morning rush.
This best western was unlike any other best western I've stayed at. The room quality was the same. Double queen beds and a bathroom. Super small fridge, NO free breakfast! And they charged more for parking than any other hotel around us. I would not recommend
From the second we walked in, we were greeted and and music was turned up so it felt like a party! Then we got asked if we wanted some complementary drinks.. hell yeah! They were yummy too! The staff was so friendly and helpful as well. The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were comfy. Plus it's So close to Disney that we were able to come back during our stay at Disney to rest our feet at the hotel.
Hotel was beautiful very clean very easy to get to and from the staff was super friendly and inviting helped me with any questions I had made the stay very relaxing and the room was gorgeous very spacious and very clean.
Hotel is in the perfect location walking distance to pharmacy stores and plenty of restaurants right outside the hotel. Rooms are clean and front desk staff was nice and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.
Overall kids and I loved the room and the location, close walk to Disneyland.. pool was a bit crowded but managed to swim for a sec. The shower pressure was a bit low for my liking. Upon checking out gather my stuff my youngest son brought and eyelash curler and sunglasses that were not ours, so disappointed I didn't notice this earlier we spent all day/ night at Disneyland.. gotta do a better job a cleaning but overall we'd definitely would be coming back
Our AirBNB was an unexpected bust and we needed to make another plan quickly. LuLu saved the day for us. The rooms were reasonable and spacious. Trying to save money on the cost of our trip we packed our lunches each day. The fridges worked great for this and there was enough counter space to get lunches and breakfasts set up. The beds were comfortable and the heat and air worked as expected. Near the IHOP and other moderately priced dinner spots open late to accommodate the after Disney crowd.
Family trip to Disneyland. Has a great location, friendly staff and nice decorated. The hotel is a bit old but clean. The WiFi y very poor, you should offer something better. limited services in general like food service. The rooms are clean and comfortable but limited in spaces for families of 4.
The staff was welcoming on arrival, and were accommodating on us arriving early. We were lucky to get a complimentary happy hour cocktail, and it was cute and on trend for the hotel! We loved the pool area, and the charming décor inside and out of the shared spaces. The room was clean, and had a fridge, microwave, and quite the snazzy tea kettle. I was able to get a great deal on the room, which made the stay even better. Hotel Lulu was an easy walk to the park, and other food/conveniences. We hope to stay again!
Toilet was so loud when you flushed. Water splashed back. Disgusting. Bathroom was disgusting. Old and doesn't seem updated. Cracks in tub and tub was extremely discolored. Bed sheets smelled like it hadn't been washed. Television remote didn't work. Stay elsewhere.
Loved the close proximoity to the Parks, Downtown Disney, resturants & even Walgreens. Asked for a room facing the fireworks as we had a Toddler and didnt know if she would play out before fireworks & were accomodated. The toddler did play out - actually got sick at the park & we had to stay another day. They made sure we could keep our same room & checked back frequently inquiring about the baby & offering to help in any way.
I stayed at this hotel and will go back again! The theme was lovely and the front desk service was sublime. Ramiro was exceptionally helpful in keeping clothing items I left behind in the room. He was exceptionally curious and kind, the staff service here was excellent! I look forward to staying here again.
We enjoyed our stay it is a great value hotel. We didn't need many amenities as we were at the park all day. I would recommend this hotel to any family that is looking for a nice clean place to stay and enjoy the Disney Land experience.
Front desk staff was exceptional. Great value and great location, short walk to Disneyland. Coffee and breakfast and bar on site for super convenience. We will stay again! Great place for family to stay too.
Stay was good and quiet no complaints rooms were clean and staff was very helpful with anything that was needed. Pool is heated but no jacuzzi fire pits were a nice touch after swimming at night. IHOP and 24hr Walgreens is one minute walk and has everything and anything you need next door and good selection of Disney stuff
The check-in was a breeze, the room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was like the one I sleep at my home. I went out with the light and woke up the next morning, rested and ready to go to Disneyland, after visiting California Adventure the prior day.
This hotel is great! It is a 10 min walk to the Disney Parks. You are also in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Staff was great. We were allowed to check in at 2pm because our room was available. Check in is 4pm. So we got lucky. The room is a standard room with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a safe. I thought this place was great for the night we stayed. We really just used it to rest, shower and sleep for the night. We headed to Disneyland the next morning. The were some paint spots on the wall. I didn't think it was a big deal. Overall, Everything is great!
My family have a beyond difficult travel day. Flight cancelled hour before take off. We had to rebook everything was on the phone fixing car and flight still was going to cost hundreds more, it was awful. Then our new flight is late at night and then delayed 3 hours. We finally got into Anaheim at 4am crying small children, no sleep, the worst day. Hotel Lulu says not only do they not have our room for us but they don't have a room for the next three days as was our reservation and THEY are going to charge us for a night as they send my family out the door with no place to go. We should have called, they said. No mercy. Pure savages. So we had to go pay for that same night again somewhere else after driving to three different places, where they would charge us and give us a room, imagine that. Worst Service imaginable.
Room was dirty floor and sheets and bathroom. Finger nail clippings and hair on the floor and in the sheets and gray hair on shower wall stuck to it. Safe was not working and The Room door was jamm up
I was skeptical due to mixed reviews, but decided to take a chance on Hotel Lulu anyway. Wow was I surprised! It was clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. It was a fantastic experience. Will definitely be back!
Ok, well when you make a definitive request immediately upon check in that you would like to be away from an elevator at a Disney hotel you'd think that would be simple enough. I had read the many reviews complaining of the PAPER THIN walls at this location. Being a Disney Annual Passport holder I know the AM routines of families. We stay at Disney until midnight and didn't want to have to deal with screaming children at Dawn running in hallways. Despite my request, we were placed directly adjacent to the elevator. I hoped for the best and tried to be a good guest. Morning came like a circus and sleep was a joke. You might as well park a tent on the sidewalk on Harbor Blvd. The biggest disappointment was this was my daughters 14th bday. We only asked one thing. It's a big hotel. Even the ice machines didn't work. Find somewhere else. They obviously don't care about guest satisfaction at Hotel Lulu.
Overall this hotel was great. Accessable from parking lot to rooms and extremely close to Disney! The staff was able to do early check-in which made our stay that much better! The room was clean and well kept. The water pressure was great! Wish we stayed more nights!
Rude employees. Cracks in the sink. Everything seems dark and dirty. The beds were horrid. The hotel is loud, you can hear every other room. You can stay in a nicer hotel for the same price. Don't go here.
Stayed for 2 nights for a short Disneyland trip. The staff were friendly and helpful upon check in. There was follow up via text message regarding our stay during its duration. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There was a mild issue with a partially broken door on the mini fridge making it difficult to open. Not really a big deal. There is a fair amount of room to room noise. The best part of staying here was being within walking distance of the Disney Parks (~0.25 mile). The hotel will let you park on the day of arrival and explore the parks before checking in without an additional charge (parking is $25/night). They allow the same service on the date of check out so we got to park there while visiting the parks for a third day. All in all a very nice stay!
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lulu during my trip to Disneyland recently. The room was clean and comfortable - LOVED the bed!!! Claudia (I believe that was her name) was super helpful checking me in, and then on my check-out day the guy (I forgot his name - but he was nice as well) took my key cards and stored my bags (they will do that on arrival day if your room is not yet ready and departure day if you have a late flight) and said he'd email me the receipt. Well, it showed a balance of over $600 even though I had pre-paid through a Disneyland package. I asked Claudia (again, I think that was her name - the same woman who checked me in) about it and she took the time to check it and print out a receipt showing no extra charges. She said the system had gone down earlier and that is probably what caused the glitch. But at any rate, she was super helpful! I'd definitely recommend Hotel Lulu and would stay here again if I get back out to Disneyland!
Good price and good location. Walking distance to Disneyland. Disneyland shuttle bus service at doorstep. Close to restaurants. Excellent front desk services and rooms. Decent amenities and reception area.
The bathroom was disgusting. There was hair all over the bathroom floor when we arrived. There was also pee on the toilet seat.. You could tell there had not been a very deep clean beforehand. Felt like bugs would bite my boyfriend and I in the bed. We also were placed right next to the elevator and there was a connecting room door in our room. It was so easy to hear the people next door that at one point they sneezed and I said bless you and we all laughed. The staff was nice and it was close to Disneyland. Those are the only positives. Listen to the reviews given by other people. Too dirty of a room to enjoy our stay.
Location, location, location. The Disney parking spot was even further than the hotel. You don't need a rental car because Disney, stores and restaurants are all within walking distance. Plus, great people manning the front desk.
Bed and sheets comfy. Feather pillows a bit bulky. No drawers. House keeping upon request. No complimentary breakfast. Only one elevator working. Tubs slippery use mat. Needs an updated coffee pot. Room size decent. Make sure you pull dirt closed all the way.
This is an average motel. I'm not sure what is premier about it unless it is in reference to the high parking cost of $25/night. The sink drains slowly so it's gross when you're washing your face or brushing teeth and the dirty water splashes back up at you. The fridge doesn't work well, so don't store milk or yogurt, as it's pretty questionable. It's tiny too. There's also no luggage rack to put your suitcase on.
This trip was for my daughters birthday. We went to Disneyland. The hotel was so accommodating! They let us check in a little early, had drinks in our room for us, and they knew we had children so they made sure to give extra pillows. House keeping was fantastic and fast! The list goes on. Thank you best western
Rooms are horribly unsoundproofed with peeling wallpaper. You have to specifically call and request room service so if you're at Disney all day.. don't forget. Oh but they don't tell you that either. They have Intelligencia coffee which is an awesome brand but no working coffee machine to get you any. The rooms feel like an old repurposed institutional building. It's not worth the cost. Pay a little extra to be more satisfied somewhere else, there's plenty of options.
I was skeptical to stay at this hotel due to some of the reviews on Google. I'm not a picky hotel person, but I do expect rooms to be clean. Our hotel room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. We will stay here again.
Air conditioning in room did not work. Front desk stated they couldn't move us to a new room as the hotel was sold out. They refunded our parking fee only. No hot water, and poor water pressure. Close proximity to Disney doesn't make up for everything else.
Clean, calm , friendly environment. Walking distance to Disneyland, Starbucks, and many restaurants. Rooms were very clean, comfortable bed, quiet and relaxing environment. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
If you're visiting any of the Disney parks, this hotel is highly recommended. Not only is it a reasonable walking distance to the parks, but also walking distance from many restaurants and convenience stores. Some rooms also have views of the Disneyland fireworks show. Hotel staff was very friendly and hotel was clean and followed Covid regulations, and my family felt very safe. Upon checking in, you get complimentary cocktails for every 21+ adult and slushies for every under age child. The rooms were equipped with all the necessary things you need traveling with children; mini fridge, microwave, hot water kettle (with instant coffee provided) and big dispensers of shampoo and conditioner and body wash. The AC wasn't too noisy or loud when turning on and off, it was a soothing consistent white noise. The beds, pillows, blankets, and bath towels were all very clean and soft and my family all slept very well. Other items the room had but we did not use: good size closet with lots of hangers, iron and ironing board, locking safe, 2 large water bottles ($6 each) and hair dryer
Hotel Lulu is a great place to stay for a Disney trip. There is a little coffee bar in the lounge or a Starbuck next door. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.
We took a last minute trip to Disneyland, and were pleasantly surprised by Hotel Lulu. It's half mile from the main gate, the room was spacious and very clean. IHOP and Starbucks are next door, and there is an Anaheim Resort Transit stop right outside the front door!
The lobby cleanliness & staff were great. Room was big, bathroom is also big, could use some help. Showerhead sucked and water pressure was not that great. Then we almost got charged for coffee we did not get.
The update on this hotel was decent! Lobby area looks great, rooms are soso, but remember the buildings are old and they can only do so much in refurbishment! Pool area was nice abd we didn't make use of the bar area but they offer adult beverages and kids slushees. Cafe area was helpful for when we needed milk/coffee and snacks but it is also right next to IHOP, Walgreens and Starbucks so super convenient! Walk to the parks was a little longer than we are used to but not bad (same distance as park overflow parking). My only complaint was that the showers took a little long to heat and I felt guilty wasting water. Appreciated that staff was always masked (even when they were walking to back areas when we were at the pool). Overall had a great stay and will be adding this hotel to our rotation for future park visits! A special thanks to Claudia for being so kind and making our extension and checkout super easy!
Morning check-in wasn't as friendly she wasnt rude but was very to the point just did her job but everyone else was super friendly housekeeping was polite and very helpful shower needed slight repair overall was a great experience.
Refrigerator is not a real one. It's a cooler. You have to turn it back on every couple hours. No freezer. A/C doesn't go lower than 68 and never auto turns off. Dirty. Also parking is 25 plus tax. $29.50. Lobby looks nice. Rooms are trash.
I was excited to see this new property. The Hotel Lulu was previously the Red Lion Inn. It's super cute when you walk in. The staff were sparse but friendly. Check in went fine. Room was cute and clean. You can tell it's renovated but overall looks good. Day 1 I met up with friends and left the hotel returned, showered, bedtime. Day 2 I woke up bought a delicious latte at the lobby coffee bar, asked if there were breakfast options (a restaurant) and was told no, they just sell pastries, so I headed out for the day. Returned and the room wasn't made. I know in the first year of Covid housekeeping services were suspended but saw carts in the hallways and believed it had resumed. I called the front desk to ask. They informed me only if you request housekeeping. I asked the process and they said you have to tell them at the front desk on your way out. I asked how I'm supposed to know that and apparently they forgot to tell me at check in. Ok. Bummer. Exhausted from the day, I went to sleep. Showered in the morning and had barely warm water. Looked forward to purchasing another latte at the coffee bar too. Went to the lobby, told the staff about the hot water and was told nobody else had mentioned it (in a way that was more like…you're the only one saying something so there's no problem) and the coffee bar was closed. They offered free black coffee instead. I'm vegan so with no other milk options offered than cream, I passed. Bummer day two. Day 3 came and went without incident. The pool and fire pits looked nice from my window but I didn't use the amenity. As I said, I was excited to see the new place. It seemed great on arrival and then it was average at best and small disappointments after another (no hot water, closed coffee bar, and blasé response from staff when communicating issues…) I'm not a very demanding guest but get irritated when the few simple expectations I have aren't met. Overall, I'd stay again if needed but this won't be a go to or anywhere near the top of my list when booking again.
We weren't really welcomed into the hotel upon arrival. The man who checked us in had attitude and wasn't friendly at all. The overall hotel was nice and was reasonably priced. But the staff was extremely unfriendly.
The staff at this hotel was amazing! Super friendly, kind, patient, and understanding. It really did feel like they cared about me personally and worked hard to make my stay comfortable. I also loved the in-room coffee and kettle!
We switched hotels due to our flight home being canceled and we collectively agreed that we wished we would have stayed here versus other hotels in this area! The hotel is so cute and updated, fresh and clean! Staff is friendly & helpful as well!
This hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland. Staff and rooms are great. It is a little pricey but worth it. I am hoping to stay here again if prices stay reasonable. Rooms are very comfortable.
Sam went above and beyond for our accommodations I can not thank her enough. She was kind and welcoming helped us with an early check in, I didn't even mention it was our daughter's birthday and a special trip she just treated it as such!! what a great start to our trip!
Great location by Disneyland wonderful staff from check in to Maid service. Very clean and comfortable. Rooms were very nice and beds were very comfortable. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. I would gladly stay here again.
About a ten minute walk to Disneyland and nice staff, but an old hotel. Beds were clean and comfortable. however, rooms are very dated and did not seem very clean. One of the elevators was not working.
This was a cute place with excellent service! It was well worth the price I paid and I would definitely stay again! Only issue was the water pressure and heat for water seemed minimal! There is Lots of parking too!
Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations! Great staff especially Miss Adora, she went above and beyond providing thee absolute BEST customer service at Hotel Lulu. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends and most definitely will be coming back!
Beautiful property. Comfy rooms. However, I do want to commend your staff for such a warm & welcoming experience. I was very impressed with your front desk agent, Adora! She was very knowledgeable of her work & very welcoming. We need more people like her in this industry!! My family & I will definitely be back!!
I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Lulu. The front desk agent Adora was professional, courteous and helpful. We aren't from the area and she gave us great recommendations and food spots of what is in the area. Keep up the great work, Adora!
Claudia at the front desk was amazing at checking us in and cutting the very expensive parking rate in half since we were there for four nights. However, our trip was cut short and as we were checking out after only three nights I brought to the attention of the staff that someone had left dirty underwear in our room that we touched when we packed thinking they were ours only to noticed they were not. Totally disgusting. The plumbing is awful. Hard to find hot water and you better close the toilet lid when you flush or it's coming back on you. I told all of this to the front desk and they offered to comp me 2 nights, or so I thought. Turns out it was two nights of parking and then charge me full price for the third night so it should've been $75 in parking, ended up being $53. Totally unacceptable for what we experienced in that room. And bring your own coffee, because the room instant coffee is atrocious. I've never left a bad review and almost didn't leave one here, but I would want to know these things if coming to this hotel.
Hi I am Miguel Angel Solorio And I'd like to tell everyone that Hotel Lulu Is a One if a Kind Hotel Starting with the front desk staff Claudia & Lorena to name a few because they all share the same quality in making sure my stay and every one else's is a 5* visit & I Guarantee it. No other Hotel gives you the quality and attention to details like Hotel Lulu & the entire staff. I am self employed and do visit different Hotels frequently, as A Roofer we move from city to city often and most times I do drive the extra mile to make sure I stay at a quality Hotel like Hotel Lulu. * Oh before I forget upon checking in you will receive a complementary Drink pass at Lulu Bar ~ Amazing ! Best Regards Miguel's Roofing & Waterproofing (714) 231-0445
Great clean hotel and super quiet! Close to Disney Land, restaurants, etc. Our room was super clean, the lobby was great and the staff were super friendly. The only complaint was parking wasn't included but it was still cheaper than surrounding options. Great value all around and underrated in my opinion.
Noisy, you could hear everything in the hall. Elevator dinged all hours of the day. Front door down upon check-in and parking is $25 a day?? and the exit parking gate was broken the entire stay and we were lectured on proper exit/entry with pass, when we replied gate was up the front desk replied that she forgot it was down and they called for service after just lecturing us about it. Key cards for the room kept deactivating so we had to keep going to the front desk to rekey them, started with 2 keys ended up with 3 and only 1 of the 3 keys worked the entire stay. On the 3rd day we wanted the room cleaned and when we returned at 830 pm,the room hadn't been serviced so we called for towels. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion in the bathroom, thought the hotel didn't offer any which I thought was a first but then when our room on the 3rd day was not serviced, we complained to management and they said they would have the room serviced that day and put extra shower amenities, which weren't needed on the last night. Parking lot flooded when it rained, making it difficult to get to your car and then into your car. Shower had hair that wasn't ours and bobby pins on the bathroom counter that weren't ours. Wall thermostat was broken, and we had to use the controls on the wall unit
*also left a review on yelp* Hotel Lulu was a great hotel to stay in for our Disney Vacation, although it's not across the street from the Main gates of Disney, it's still a decent walk (approximately 7-10 min) from The hotel to the gate! The staff was super friendly and even allowed us to check in early after arriving from Vegas earlier than expected. Hotel Lulu isn't a 5 star resort by any means but that doesn't stop them from treating you like a 5 star guest! The room was pretty big! The beds were quite comfy (to each their own) the tv was perfect size for the room. One of my issues was the heater, all though it's slightly outdated, it's still works great.. however it was a bit tough trying to find a way to keep it at a certain temp. After about 10 minutes I was able to get it to come on and off as needed. The room clean, neat, and was equipped with a fridge and microwave. Very nice. Bathroom was nothing fancy but was very clean and set up nicely. My other issue (not really an issue per say) was we were placed near the elevator and we could hear the elevators loud DING each time it was on our floor… however during the night we didn't hear it. Before arriving, we were a bit skeptical because of previous reviews, after our visit. I would honestly give this place a solid 8/10 and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy Disney, decent priced hotel, and within walking distance of the park! Thank you Hotel Lulu for allowing us to stay (December 13-15)
Great profesional and courteous service from staff Specially from Claudia at the front desk calling by my name ant it's not too popular and always Conrad with great personality they made us feel home and welcomed Rooms are awesome and very clean The hotel it's in a great location with walking distance to Disney Restaurants and shops
Finally using our Disney tix from March 2020! One of my kids needs a lot of breaks during the day. This hotel was well-located for walks back and forth and a great value! Room was spacious, clean and modern.
Out of the many many years that I have been going to the Disneyland area and staying in hotels hotel Lulu is by far the worst I've stayed at. About a week before my check in date, I called the hotel to confirm my reservation and as well as ask about early check-in. The gentleman who answered the phone was very nice and advise me to call the hotel the morning I left my home to check the status of early check-in. On the morning on my check in date, I called at 1:30am an inquiry about early check-in. The employee who answered the phone and advised it wouldn't be a problem after said I would be there from 10am to noon. I drove 9 hours to the hotel and once I got to the hotel I was advised buy the employee that no rooms were available for early check in but if I would wait approximately an hour and a half to two hours it would be ready. she would put a rush into it. 12pm came I called and I said nothing was ready and it wouldn't be ready to a minimum of two more hours and which I said OK. 2pm came and nothing. It wasn't until about 3 PM that I was called and advise if the room is ready. If I would've known that it would've taken this long I would've not left so early to the hotel. You may ask why I waited at the hotel for so long when I would have left and came back but I was told I could park in the gated parking lot but since I wasn't check in, I wouldn't be able to leave the parking lot. So we waited for almost 5 hours. Once we got to the room everything appeared to be OK but once we look around the room we realize that the room was not clean. There was a hair scrunchy on the ground by the bed and There was rolled up piece of toilet paper covering the peep hole on the door. The Kleenex box in the bathroom was practically empty so that must've been used by multiple people prior to my arrival.
First off, being greeted by Sam at the front desk and her friendly and helpfulness started are stay on a great path. Sam was great with helping get us register in and answered any questions we had with a smile. She was wonderful. The entire staff were always friendly and helpful as well whenever there was a question during our stay. Rooms were comfortable and quiet even on the street side. Easy walking distance to the Disneyland park, restaurants and shops. Rooms were clean and very up to date. Parking was easy, safe and a blessing to have
We recently stayed at Hotel Lulu to experience a day at Disneyland and get our son's second vaccine. The hotel was better than my expectations. I loved the decor, the location was great and the staff we really nice and approachable! Disneyland was walkable and an excellent location to access the park. CVS & Walgreens are both super close to pick up basic drinks, food and snacks. We really enjoyed Blaze Pizza which was a 1 min walk away. Overall we would love to stay at Hotel Lulu again and I highly recommend it!
Reasonable priced hotel three blocks from Disneyland entrance. Poor hot water. AC did not work very well at all. Comfortable room and bed. Large TV with lots of channels. Had a pool, but did not use. Had a workout room. Did not see a hot tub. WiFi was sufficient, but not real fast. Hotel was quiet, even with lots of kids staying there. Small bar area, with bar snacks for purchase. No actual restaurant on site, but plenty in walking distance. There is a Walgreens and CVS in ½ block. Definitely in need of an upgrade, but will stay here again. $25 per day is a little pricey.
Short walk to Disneyland, about 10 minutes. The staff are so nice and very pleasant. Nice fire pits by pool for relaxing, fun games send a little bar area as well. You might need to ask for more towels, but they are very kind and will get you what you need. There aren't many drawers in the room but there is plenty of desk space and shelves too.
I wanted to be close to Disneyland for my very first visit with my sister. Hotel Lulu absolutely was the best choice! It's only 8 mins away from the main entrance walking, right next to an ihop (for a quick dine-in breakfast), not far from other food places in walking distance, and a bus stop is right next to it as well. It was a short walk away from a Walgreens as well for last minute items I forgot to pack and to get snacks for the day at Disney. It's a simple building with modern and subtle disney decor (we went during Thanksgiving week so there was holiday decor was well). The staff was so helpful at the front desk and made us feel welcome. The room was very nice, and the bed definitely was the comfiest after a long day at the parks. I will definitely book here again for my next Disneyland visit!
We had a great experience at hotel Lulu . The hotel is close to Disney. It was only about a 10 minute walk from Disneyland which was not bad at all. On our departure date we got coffee's and hot chocolates to go and the staff said it was on them. it was a nice surprise!
Me and my son went to Disneyland for Thanksgiving and this hotel was great. It was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and it was an easy walk to the parks! I would absolutely stay here again. There was an IHOP right nextdoor so we had pancakes one morning. There is a Walgreens, CVS and 7-11 right there on the corners as well. Great place to stop and get some more affordable snacks for the day before heading into the park!
We have come to have certain expectations for a property labeled as Premier and this place did not live up. We were very disappointed with our stay. We changed our original reservation from the Park Place Inn to this one and are sad that we did. The firework view room was especially paid for was blocked by the building next door of the same height. The carpet and one chair had big stains on them. The walls were so thin that we could hear people urinating; not just flushing or using the shower, which is expected with pipes in the walls. The bathroom was gross, chipped tub, etc. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. Toilet paper behind the toilet so had to twist unnaturally to reach. No drawers in the room so clothes were on these weird square shelves. I realize it may be seen as stylish but very impractical. The website said this location had a shower/tub seat for accessible needs and when we asked for one, they said they didn't have one, so my wife had to go without.
Went to Hotel Lulu at 1850 Harbor Blvd, Nov. 16th - 20th, 2021 was within easy walking distance of Disneyland, downtown Disney, and California Adventure. Very clean and comfortable. The Staff was very professional, courtesy, and went up and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. They couldn't have more accommodating. The price was very reasonable as well for this area. We will definitely recommend to all, and will be returning on our next trip to Southern California. Thank you Hotel Lulu and Staff.
This was one of the best experience we have had at a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds comfy! Great location. Only 2 blocks from Disneyland. Many restaurants within walking distance. Kids loved the pool. Will definitely stay here again!
I cant stop raving about how great this hotel was. It was close to the parks and the walk there was very safe. I loved the 24 hr front desk and the rooms were very clean. I loved that the rooms came with a fridge, microwave, and cable television. I originally planned on spending just sleep time in the hotel but wineed up being in there more time than not.
We absolutely loved the location and the vibe of this hotel. We are not luxury travelers but rather prefer functional convenience and this hotel worked wonders for our needs. We stayed for a week and hit the ocean, Disneyland (literall 7 mins walk away), Universal, and many sites around LA and Anaheim. We didn't spend much time at the hotel with all the activities but we did visit the pool and it was set up very nicely with loungers and fire pits. There were a few little things that could have been better - hooks to hang up towels, better ceiling soundproofing - but overall we were happy with the experience. The staff were both helpful and genuinely friendly; you were greeted everytime you entered and exited via the lobby. If we were to come back to this area, I would book and stay here again.
This was a purchase through Travelzoo. Amazing value for a hotel 1/2 mile from Disney. Ignore the previous reviews for the past few months (I read them, ignore the negative people). Nice hotel, especially if you plan on being at Disneyland. Short walk, breakfast right next door. I would definitely stay here again
We recently stayed at Hotel Lulu and it was such an amazing experience. Perfect Hotel to stay there if you are going to Disneyland, you could go walking to Disney and on the way over there or the way back there is a lot of places to get food. The Hotel has very nice friendly employees and we wanted to show kuddos to Icha ! She was a very friendly and amazing employee! We thank her for making our stay amazing! The room was very clean we slept comfortable. We would totally stay again and of course recommended this Hotel ! We loved our stay. 10/10 .
I was a little nervous leading up to the stay due to other reviews but was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. I booked a premiere room with park views which was great for fireworks. The room was small but clean. The staff were super nice and pleasant. It is not a fancy hotel but comfortable and clean. The walk to Disney was about 10 minutes. Overall a good stay, would come again!
Conveniently located to walk or to shuttle to the Disneyland Resort. Plenty of food options in the surrounding area in walking distance. Very clean, friendly staff, coffee in room or lobby area. Great price for all amenities.
The hotel was nice and comfortable, only had a problem with the room circulation, the ac worked fine but it would feel stuffy and hot at times and you can't open the window. Also the door was tricky to open to the room. We have a toddler so the room was great for what we needed. The walk to disneyland was not bad, about 10 to 15 minutes.
This was my first time at Hotel Lulu ; I'm a single mother of two and came by from San Diego to visit Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. We were celebrating my daughters birthday. Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and accommodating especially Lorena Ichel. We are walking distance from Disneyland along with various other restaurants. The pool is definitely a plus and my kids really enjoyed the stay not to mention the price ! I will most definitely recommend Hotel Lulu to my friends and family. Thank you so much for your kindness and attentions !
I booked a non refundable room for 1 night and was a little discouraged after reading all the bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The location was good, only a short walk to Disneyland. It was nicer than I expected and would definitely stay there again.
Hotel Lulu is the remodeled Red Lion Inn. It's a little over a mile from the Disney parks, and super close to many dining/shopping areas. The hotel was booked by my travel agent as part of a Disney package, and I stayed there for a week. Everything was great there. The only 2 items I would have liked would have been a small refrigerator in the room, and for the internet service to not be so spotty. Other than that, the stay was great and I would recommend the hotel.
Ichel was very helpful with our check in and stay experience. She made everything easy and smooth and made us feel at home. We will definitely be coming back. Hotel lulu is a great hotel and in a great area for the park. 5 stars
These place is a great place to stay clean and perfect location The staff are awesome especially the bartender Conrad and also Dante great staff. Great free cocktail at check in well needed. Rooms are great
Paid for my reservation in full with hotels.com. Gave a charge at check in for incidentals. They charged my card for my entire stay despite it already being paid in full via hotels.com. Extremely upset about this. Also no security latch on door there is a lock but most hotels have that secondary latch. No coffee maker. There is a hot kettle with instant coffee. Overall not happy because of the billing issue.
Within walking distance so that's a plus but this is NOT a "Premier" facility. Small room, adequate furnishing but just average. Staff super nice so nothing bad to say about them but I would not recommend this hotel.
There was no soap, or shampoo in the bathroom, no ice bucket and out of coffee, the toilet seat swiveled, and mold around the bathtub. In addition $25 parking fee and no complimentary breakfast. A 10 % voucher was offered for breakfast at a nearby restaurant but that barely covers the tip.
The hotel was amazing. We absolutely loved the cleanliness of the room and how friendly everyone was. The bar experience made it more enjoyable since it gave us a little adult break from the kids. Everything was so nice and met our expectations
It was just one thing after another all weekend... Wrong room at check in and they wouldn't be able to switch us until the next day but at that point we decided not to do it. The fridge didn't work so we wasted a lot of food we had for the fridge, they were supposed to send someone to fix it but they never came so again...we decided to just leave it. Couldn't get out of the parking lot because my pass didn't work, had to call a generic 800 # and wait forever to be let out. Rooms are kind of funky with their weird leather tile walls and our bed seemed as though it was on a major slope.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave our young grandsons holiday cookies to decorate. But we didn't have the room we booked months ago, even though I confirmed it before we arrived and again upon check in. We paid extra for a Disneyland Firework view. The first two nights there were no fireworks but the third night there were but our view was blocked by a building and trees. I called the desk and they acknowledged we didn't have the view room we booked. They did adjust our bill. Also, there was no breakfast of any kind offered, not even complimentary coffee in the lobby or room. Usually Best Western hotels offer at least a simple breakfast. One morning they did offer free coffee in the lobby but we had to pay for it the other three mornings.. Internet is very poor so we couldn't connect with our Disney app for the virtual que. Pool was clean but cold. Our room was booked for four, yet only two sets of towels. So despite the helpful staff the stay was disappointing and we wouldn't stay here again.
Beds and pillows VERY comfy! Walking distance for 2 grown fast walking women was 15 minutes to DL. Staff was very friendly and happy. Our favorite was the lobby smelled like pumpkin spice the entire visit!! Decor was cute. It was very quiet which was nice. If I had a complaint - the pool was underwhelming and basic, maybe even older looking. There is a pool bar but it was closed so that was a bummer. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel seems nice on the outide and in the lobby. It is clear that only one side of the hotel is remodeled. The other side across the court yard, is not. The drapes have not been changed in I don't know how long- they were stained and grungy. The parking lot is dark, and the staff is disinterested in making the people feel like their service matters. I called after trying to get the WIFI to work which no one informed us of the pass word or anything until we phoned and then when I called back to say it didn't work, I was told it was working for other's so they didn't know. Also asked to request extra towels and was asked how many they had already brought up. One of the hotel room keys worked intermittently, and the surprise $200 deposit of which they charge $25 to park each day is no fun if you show up unaware. The fridge was broken inside and they just threw a custom laminate cover on it to make it " look new" Also the rug had a weird mildew on it that made it feel wet.
$25 nightly parking fee not disclosed at time of the reservation (reservation made over the phone). Sprung that on us when we checked in. Rooms are not refreshed UNLESS YOU ASK - but when you ask, it still isn't done. AC unit did not work properly. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work at all. Staff has funky attitudes. Left a handwritten complaint for the General Manager (Mr. Cox) - have yet to hear from him...tells me he and his team don't care about the customer's experience.
This hotel had good room rates so we stood 2 nights. And the location was great. Very close to Disneyland. We were able to walk there. The room was very clean. Looking forward to staying at this hotel again during our next Disney visit.
Hotel Lulu used to be the Red Lion and in some ways it still is. It's been remodeled but the hallway doors for the rooms are of 1974 vintage, just painted and that's it. We had two rooms and both doors were massively hard to open and close and make sure they were locked. One room was missing the art in the wall amd the other was missing the coffee pot. Neither is a major thing, but at the price point amd being part of the “Premiere Collection,” it's just a couple of oddities. The parking ticket didn't work so I had to use my credit card to get in and out of the lot. At this writing I still don't know if I've been charged twice for parking. Hopefully not. The rooms are very comfortable as are the beds. The rooms are also very quiet, even when facing the street. The hot water was hot and the shower stream was excellent. The Red Lion shows up, again, with the very small, very old tub. It would have been nicer to have a walk-in shower as part of the remodel. Overall Hotel Lulu is a nice place to stay and we'd stay again. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. While we did not take advantage of the lobby snack area, but it was well stocked and seemed well priced. Give it a go. We think Lulu will do you just fine.
Hotel lobby was decorated cute and Disney, the rooms were a little run down. We had one trash can that needed taken out and new towels, I called the front desk 3 times for both and finally I was told to come to the front desk for towels and to leave our overflowing trash can out in the hallway! Our sink drain broke, the closet smelled musky. Apparently the outlets near the back window only work if the main light is switched on! The front desk female employee was rude when we asked for a late departure! When leaving there was an suv parked on the side of the hotel parking lot and the occupants told us not to park there because there was no cameras and their car had just got broken into, I believe some car parts were stolen to the point they couldn't drive it! On the websites this hotel looks like a resort, but I'd describe it as a step up from being a Motel 6! The only good thing it was cheap to book and pretty close to Disneyland!
Check in was fine. Very energetic associates (young male brunette and middle aged female brunette) speedy checkin, and helpful. You could tell the room was old, needed to be redone. Old, musty smell when we walked in. Wall mounted A/C unit smelled when turned on. Shower old and had low pressure. Tossed and turned all night, couldn't stop sneezing. had an allergic reaction in the room. Morning associate (female) didn't care about my concerns and was too busy training someone new to help me with anything or to check me out amd give me a printed receipt.
I was a bit worried about staying here after reading some of the negative reviews, but I am very glad I did. The price was a good deal. Check-in was a breeze, the hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to Disneyland but I have to admit that I really took advantage of the fact that the ART bus stop was right out front. The bed was wonderful, very comfortable and the duvet was nice and warm, so many hotels just have those lightweight blankets. Some of the prior reviews had comments about the air conditioner being loud but I did not experience that at all. The wifi worked very well and I loved that the TV had so many channels. I do have a few observations, first like another reviewer indicated there was only 1 small trash can in the room, generally, hotel rooms have a small trash can in the bathroom and a larger one in the bedroom area, there was only 1 small can in the bathroom. Secondly, there was no place to hang up your towel in the bathroom, no bar or hook. Last thing the bathtub was a bit slippery, there was no mat or non-slip strips, which could be an issue. Those things did not take away from my stay, as I said they are merely observations. I would certainly stay here again when I visit Disneyland.
For the location to Disneyland , resturants and quick shopping like Walgreens , the price is amazing . Everything was within a 15 minute walk . Our room was not too bad , only one small trash can in the whole room which I thought was odd. The stairs are kind of sketchy too ... empty boxes of beer where in there and it was very closed off . We took the elevator Everytime even just being on the second floor. But there was a decent sized mini fridge , really strong blowing a/c unit, microwave, electric kettle and dish tv . The hallways were very cutely decorated with Disney beach decor , and parking was pretty easy . When we tried to leave our parking pass wouldn't scan and we had to call for help to get us out but it was really fast and easy to do .
This hotel was absolutely amazing! Location was close to Disneyland and the shuttle was amazing. The appearance and amenities were unique. I loved the coffee shop in the morning, and bar during the evenings. Employees were kind and pleasant to engage with. Will return again. Thank you for the awesome stay!
For the price of other hotels in this area, my stay was average. Nothing was below average and nothing was spectacular. A few cons: there is no housekeeping whatsoever. It's fine as long as you know that ahead of time. There are two tiny, tiny trash cans and they fill up fast. And then if you need towels, know that you will need to go get more from downstairs. Also, the only working ice dispenser was on floor two so somewhat of a hassle. The pool area was fun and a nice break but LOTS of mosquitoes flying around the lounge chairs. Pros: great location. We walked to several restaurants and Disneyland a few times a day and the view was nice from our room. Extended Parking times were nice for checkout and the beds are also pretty comfortable. Would stay here again because you can't beat the price.
This hotel was a pretty average stay. The furniture in the room was definitely worn and older, but it was clean and comfortable. There was no breakfast, but there was a Starbucks nearby for our morning coffee. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again for the price.
The ac was loud and kept going on and off and the shower didn't really have hot water but other than those issues the room was clean and I liked how close and convenient it was to Disneyland it was only a 7 min walk and when you check in you get a complimentary drink and their bar so that was nice.
stay was amazing! hotel employees were nice and the rooms were very clean! would definitely stay here again, pool was very clean, bar was very nice and the hotel was a lot bigger than i thought it would have been
Did not get greeted. Did not received my complimentary water. The guy that checked me in was rude had a bad attitude and did not answer my questions. He looked upset and hurried up to check me in as if I was I his way. As a Diamond member I do not recommend this hotel and I will not be staying here ever again.
Room was smelly like of food from past guest. Fridge in room leaked so carpet was wet around that area. Tv control did not change channel only good for volume. Drinks at bar used old mint on mojito made me sick to my stomach.
I stayed here for one night when I added a day to my Disneyland Vacation Package. Exterior and lobby are neat and updated, lobby was nice and cool. Room was bit a small but I was by myself so I don't need a lot of space. TV would not work when I got in, they sent someone within 15 minutes to fix. Plenty of parking but $25/day, even for hotel guests ($15/night seems average for the area) but you can stay in the lot until 4pm day of check out so I was able to walk to the parks. I read somewhere that it was only a 7 minute walk but it's actually closer to 15, especially with the long waits at crosswalks because all the vehicle/pedestrian traffic. Next to an IHOP and a Walgreens. Around the corner from a Starbucks (only accepting cash at the time I was visiting), and a pizza place. I was able to kind of see the Disneyland Fireworks the night I stayed which was cool. The bed was as hard as a rock. I woke up with back pain. In the main tower, only one of the two elevators (with 8 floors) was working so it took forever to get one and several times the elevator was full so you'd have to wait for it to come back. Room has plenty of USB ports in the lights for your technology and a small refrigerator. Bathroom was spacious and updated. I'd stay again in the future, it was a great deal, though probably not my first choice due to the mattress and distance from the main gate.
I would not stay here again we are in covid and it was dirty the room and pool the service was ok they did take off the 25 dollar parking but this is only for convenience of where it's located. Thank you
We stayed here for a week while visiting Disney. The hotel itself is nice and clean. Loved being able to see the Disney Fireworks every night. The only complaint I have is that they would not come in and clean our room even though we asked numerous times. I understand they don't make the bed but it would be nice to have the trash emptied and towels restocked. We had to ask for clean towels on 2 occasions and even had to get more toilet paper. They do not restock the rooms for some reason. Upon check in there was also no information provided about what amenities were available to us. Desk staff and maid service needs to be better. We were finally told to put our trash and dirty towels in the hall. Never experienced this at a Best Western before.
I enjoyed the hotel it was clean and has a decent location for your Disneyland vacation. The reason for the lower rating is the customer service. I had two rooms each having an issue the first room was with the TV and it took 3 calls to the front desk before they would send someone up to help. It just required the actual tv remote not the direct tv remote. The other room had no stopper for the bath tub. I was told the general manager had said they aren't stocking them. Really I just spent hundreds of dollars on a room and you can't provide a stopper for the bathtub. Our other room had one…I also received a call in the middle of the day wanting to know if I was the one who requested my room to be cleaned. It wasn't me…I think maybe the staff at the desk might need a bit more training. I will probably give them another try in the future but definitely think there is room for improvement.
A great 'new' hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. I've always trusted the Best Western brand and this one delivered. Hotel staff were so welcoming and helpful. No breakfast options were provided even though the hotel website noted that there would be something. We didn't use the pool but it looked great.
Nice clean hotel 10-15 easy walk to Disneyland. There is two drugstores right next door to the hotel, and a wide variety of restaurants close by as well. Elevators can be a little crowded during certain times of the day, so beware
Hotel overall was very comfy. Bar was great, we were able to get a drink even though bar was closing. Seem to be working out a few small kinks since they opened recently. All in all we had a great time!! Beds were very comfy and room was very nice and not noisy!
Hotel was clean and adequate for our needs. Staff was friendly. Would appreciate more housekeeping service now that COVID is declining. Loved the craft table for the kids which kept them busy while we were preparing for check out. Haven't seen this before and it's a definite plus.
Solid hotel overall. Staff a little slow with check in/out. Nice property. Good views out the windows. TV Remote in the room would only work if standing in one spot where you couldn't see the tv. Bed was soft and came with like 7 pillows.
When we arrived all trash cans around the building were full and spilling out trash with trash on the floor all around it. Lobby left like they have no AC. Once we got to our room door hinges and locks were so messed up door wouldn't close or lock. When I told guest services and asked for another room they insisted they would send someone to fix it. After waiting 45 mins no one came and finally they just changed our room. The next room we had smelt bad and the TV would go in and out of connection every 25 seconds.
This turned out to be a very nice hotel, after the last BW I had stayed at I can say that this has redeemed my faith in BW and the comfort, service, value and friendliness they provide for their customers.
Good lord, where to begin… looks nice from the outside, location was good, pretty close to the parks. However, things went downhill quickly. Our key cards did not work, right after checking in. We had to go back downstairs to have them re-activated (even though we had just been handed them). There were several people at the front desk also having the same issue with their room keys and gate access to the parking lot. Once we finally got into our tiny room we realized that the tv didn't work. We called the front desk and they sent up an engineer. He let us know right away that the dish was out, and had been for several weeks. They knew, weren't doing anything about it, and put us in the room anyway. Apparently most of the 7th floor TVs were also out. Fun. The restaurant is closed, same with the coffee bar. Which would have been fine if there had been coffee in the room. There was two packets of instant coffee in the room and an electric kettle. 2 packets for 2 people for 4 days… also there was no maid service for 4 people for 4 days in a tiny room. So gross. All of this leading up to the main attraction: the fire alarm going off at 10:15pm the first night of our stay. The kids were already sleeping, we had to wake them up and drag them out of bed and down 7 flights of stairs. Here's where my real problem with this place begins. It was night time, totally dark. Two of the floors the stairs were completely unlit. No lights at all. Parents carrying their small kids, sleepy children drug out of bed, walking down stairs in the dark. Not only that, there was a chair in the stairwell on one floor, cleaning equipment on another. So incredibly dangerous, and I'm guessing a pretty severe safety violation. The bottom floor of the stairwell didn't even have a wall for Christ's sale, we were looking at insulation! I wish that I was joking, this place was really bad. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. Such a bummer too, because everything else about our trip was great!
Let me start with the fact that I rarely write reviews. I just feel like I had a different experience than the other reviewers. I've had great experiences with Best Western hotels and am a BW reward member. When I saw that this hotel was part of BW, I was really happy. It's close enough to Disneyland to walk, if you're a walker like I am. The website showed a lot of amenities that I liked. I've been here one night, out of three, and am disappointed with my stay so far. The website showed a pool bar. With the heat being in the 90's, sitting by the pool with a refreshing cocktail would have been nice. Unfortunately, the pool bar isn't going to be open until Thursday - day before I leave. The website mentioned a modified breakfast, similar to other Best Western locations. Hotel employee informed me yesterday, there is no breakfast. I left my room this morning around 9:30. Housekeeping was in the hallway. Unfortunately, when I returned to my room around 3:00, my room hadn't been cleaned. To be honest, I don't need my towels or sheets changed, I make sure I don't put the sign up for that, but I do like to have my bed made and the food I left in the garbage to be taken out. The keys are wonky - it takes at least five times to open the door. The water pressure sucks. And when they updated the rooms after it was the Red Lion, they didn't put in any USB ports and there are very few electrical outlets. I know these are all first world problems, but this is Trip Advisor and most of the complaints are. Maybe I'm cranky and tired from the Anaheim heat. All I know, is I really wanted to love this hotel and I don't. The price was fantastic. The location is great for someone like me. There's a Walgreen's a half block away, which is really convenient for getting snacks and drinks. Pre-pandemic I came down to Dland a few times a year. I won't say I will never stay here again, because the price was really good, but it won't be my first choice.
!back to the happiest place on earth¡ Despite the long shut down of the hotel and the uncertainty of the near future, we noticed the staff were working hard to make it happen. Renovation on going but created little or no disturbance to the guests. Parking is gated, and need to scan card to get in and out of the open parking. No breakfast was available. In terms of amenities, if the room can accommodate a bigger fridge... that will make it even better.
Stayed here for the first time during a visit to Disneyland & California Adventure. It was perfect for us – comfortable rooms/beds, a nice swimming pool and a great location. The hotel is basically at the intersection of Harbor & Katella, so it was an easy walk to and from the parks. The hotel has a sunny and fun California decor/vibe and the employees were friendly and helpful. We're planning another trip here in a few months (since we just missed the opening of Avengers Campus ☹) and would definitely stay here again.
A very nice fresh and cool hotel. Not sure what the hotel was before but was newly renovated. The rooms were clean and nice size. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. And the location is the best. My family had a very good stay. Thank you!
We stayed here for a Disney trip with a 11 & 3 year old. Couldn't have met all our needs more perfectly. We got a double queen room and we could see the park from a distance. Plenty of space for all 4 of us (large rooms!). The room and entire hotel was very clean and looked new. Staff was awesome-friendly, prompt, cared about our experience. Location was great. Very short walk to the park entrance which was great given the kids. The hotel had a pool and bar. I'm definitely coming back!!
