Two night stay. Hotel chosen for proximity to train station and price. 1. Just a very short walk from the train station; 2. Although not located in town or near the Sanctuary, the L5 bus ( stop located across the street from hotel) drops you off right by the sanctuary entrance and in town for only 1 euro; 3. Room: Clean, comfortable and roomy (for Europe) with great air conditioning. Awkward room layout, as toilet was on one side of the room, while the bathroom and washbasin were located on the opposite side of the room; 4. Staff: friendly and helpful; 5. Best to have breakfast in town and skip the breakfast buffet; and 6. All in all, would probably stay here again.

Wowwwwwwwww! What a location! Literally across the road from the station with the added bonus of buses into town. We spent 4 nights and the level of cleanliness was beyond belief- absolutely spotless. The scenery at the back was breathtaking and the garden and pool - something else. The only downside was there was no mini fridge in our room and also the complementary coffee and tea did not come with milk. We were supposed to checkout today and we panicked as there was no one at the front desk. The front door was locked and being told there was only one train out of Lourdes today- I hammered the bell and thank God, a lady appeared. We were not checked out - we were told to leave our key on the desk and told to use the back door to exit. I don't think that was professional sadly- BUT I WILL CHOOSE THE HOTEL AGAIN. We selected because we wanted to visit the shrine and grotto of Our Lady. A bus ride was only €1! To our utter surprise, it was a pleasant walking distance. Follow my instructions and you will thank me for it. By the way, if you have difficulty walking or use a walking aid- not a walking stick but a mechanised one then I will advise you to take the bus. 1 - OUT OF THE HOTEL AND TURN LEFT 2 - KEEP GOING AND STILL ON THE LEFT 3 - THE ROAD VEERS SLIGHTLY LEFT BUT KEEP GOING 4 - ABOUT 150 YARDS THAT IS FROM THE HOTEL IS A BRIDGE 5 - GO DOWN THE STEPS AND TURN LEFT AT THE BOTTOM 6 - WALK STRAIGHT - THE GROTTO AND SANTUARY ARE AHEAD OF YOU GOOD LUCK

“I've been a loyal rewards member for years, expecting a strong guest experience from Best Western. On a recent stay at the Best Western Beauséjour in Lourdes (Oct 4–7, 2025) I was disappointed that advertised amenities (internet, television, laundry) were unavailable without prior warning, and the front desk was frequently unattended. When I raised these concerns with corporate customer relations, they offered me only 3,000 reward points — valued at about $15 — as compensation. That minimal gesture does not match the inconvenience and unmet expectations of the stay. It suggests a disconnect between their “guest first” messaging and real customer satisfaction. If you value reliable service, transparency about amenities, and meaningful restitution when things go wrong, you might want to consider other hotel chains. I appreciate the corporate rep I spoke with — she was courteous and responsive — but as a whole, Best Western needs to raise its follow-through and reward structure for loyal guests who experience genuine service failures.” Additionally, I had to pay for the entire stay upon checking in. Is this standard procedure for this hotel group?

We stayed two nights. Rooms are small, but have a safe and fridge. Quiet at night , despite proximity to train station. Walk to sanctuary is about 15 minutes.

Really very lovely hotel. Super clean and comfortable. Excellent location with terrific views. Lovely pool and gardens. Very hard working and helpful team. Look forward to a return visit and would definitely recommend for business or leisure, solo or group. Calm and relaxing. Thank you.

We originally booked at the Hotel Majestic but when we got to the room, it was filthy. Stained shower curtain, ripped bathroom flooring and vanity laminate, old and tired mattress and linens, and an overall atmosphere of neglect, age, and fatigue. Although the guy at reception refused to refund our money (we were in the room about 5 minutes) we contacted the credit card bank and they removed the charges for us. We came here instead (the two hotels are quite close,) and what a world of difference there is between the two. We got a spotless and modern room with beams on the ceiling and clean, well-maintained furniture and furnishings, professional and courteous staff, immaculate breakfast area with well-prepared food choices, and a sense of being in a clean, refreshing hotel rather than an old, tired, dirty dump. Parking is free and right next door. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Lourdes, we will gladly stay here again. Some things are worth spending the extra money for, and this hotel is one of those.

We really didn't have high expectations of this hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. Pictures were accurate, the room we booked were refurbished, spotlessly clean and the bathrooms bright and shiny new. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Luggage storage was offered and the location, close to the train station was convenient and did not contribute to any noise in the rooms. Rooms are not the biggest, but not much different than many other properties throughout France and EU.

Beautiful hotel right next to the railway and bus station, which makes it very convenient for trips out (but no noise or disruption from being next to the station). We arrived in Lourdes from a very early flight from London and the hotel had good secure baggage storage and also organised an earlier check in for us (12 noon, rather than the usual 4pm) which was very kindly accepted. Our room was a supreme room and quite small, but had everything you needed with ample storage. The bed was extremely comfortable - large, a good mattress, great quality bedding. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower. Storage for clothes was great and also there was a safe to use. The small balcony had amazing views of the mountains and there were also large communal balconies so everyone could also enjoy these views. The housekeeping was exceptional - everything tidied and cleaned impeccably. The hotel is typically French and rather than feeling like a hotel chain, it felt much more like a small friendly family run hotel which I prefer. The pool area was beautiful and much appreciated in the hot weather we had. I would say the hotel is a good 20 minutes from the grotto and church and slightly uphill on the return, but it is a pleasurable and interesting walk and also the buses go into town regularly for €1 regularly. I think the location is amazing - we did several bus trips and the position of this hotel is fantastic for that and for Lourdes. Staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was a vast choice of breads, eggs, ham, cheese, cakes etc with teas, coffee and juices. Definitely one of the best hotels in Lourdes.

Generally, hotel website photos overstate the reality. Not so, here. Beautifully decorated in a somewhat art deco style, the ground floor has a very pleasing ambience. The entire hotel was well maintained and clean. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the grounds and the Pyrenees. It rained while we were there but it must be a lovely view on a sunny day. Staff do double duty as both reception and in the restaurant. This can mean waiting a few minutes for attention at the reception but not not enough to ruin the stay. Room was very tight although nicely decorated. It was, however, very hot at night and the HVAC controls did not appear to have been activated. The TV has about 3 English stations. Our only complaint, other than lack of HVAC, was the thumping of the guests above walking in their room. The bathroom is wall to wall tiled in white marble. Beware, the Bath/shower is deep and there are no handles or grab bars to help with the big step. Took some time to work out how the shower works We had dinner in the dining room. Service was very good but food was underwhelming. Breakfast was average. Look all around the bath for instructions on how to work the shower---they are there, just not obvious.

The hotel is conveniently located just in front of the train station. It has a private parking, beautiful decent size pool and a top rated restaurant in the ground floor. The interiors of the hotel is beautiful. I like that our room has a balcony with the view of the pool and the Lourdes.
