normale Zimmer gehen zu den Gleisen raus. Bei offenem Fenster ist sehr laut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Keller. Recht dunkel, aber dafür sehr ruhig. Große Zimmer dazu. Frühstück kann man vergessen, eine einzige Katastrophe. Lieber Auswärts frühstücken. Lage direkt ggü. der U-Bahn, aber 40 Minuten bis downtown London. 2 Pubs in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir wurden von Stayforlong umgebucht. Bei Anreise wurden wir zwar nett empfangen aber das war es dann auch. Das erste Zimmer stand am 2. Tag unter Wasser. Im Badezimmer alles überflutet. Kann passieren sollte aber nicht. Wir bekamen dann ein neues Zimmer. Zimmer war recht groß aber das Badezimmer so klein das man nicht mal gerade auf dem WC sitzen konnte. Der Eingang zur Dusche war so schmal das ein gut gebauter Mensch sich irgendwie rein drehen musste. Zimmerreinigung bestand aus Mülleimer leeren, Bettbezug gerade ziehen (Kissen lagen so wie man es verlassen hatte) und neuen Handtüchern. Es wurde nicht gesaugt oder gewischt. Handtücher fleckig ekelig. Beim Frühstück gab es jeden Morgen Diskussion das man es zusätzlich bezahlen sollte obwohl wir incl Frühstück gebucht haben. Interkontinentales Frühstück bestand jeden Morgen aus Salami, Schinken und Käse. Toast normal oder Körner, Croissant und Minimuffins. Saft und oh Wunder mehreren Müslisorten. Das wirklich einzig positive war die Anbindung an der Underground. 1 Minute und man ist an der Bahn. Rundum einmal und nie wieder

Das Hotel liegt genau gegenüber der U-Bahnstation Northfields an den Gleisen. Das ließe einen gewissen Geräuschpegel vermuten, doch erstaunlicherweise empfand ich den Zugverkehr nicht als störend. Ein eintreffender Zug klang am ehesten nach dem Waschgang einer Waschmaschine. Ich konnte damit gut leben - und schlafen. Das Hotel ist praktisch und lässt jeden Charme vermissen. Jeden. Doch ist es darob eben auch günstig. Um die Ecke vom Eingang liegt eine als solches ausgezeichnete Raucherecke. Nicht eben heimelig, doch auch nicht völlig daneben. Mein Zimmer war überraschend groß. Und sauber. Es verfügte über einen Fernseher und alles, um sich einen Tee oder Kaffee zu machen. Gleich nebenan mit verbindender Tür liegt das Oofy's, angeblich ein indisches Lokal. Gegessen habe ich dort nicht, doch nahm ich ein Glas Wein mit in die Raucherecke und gab es anschließend zurück.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es war alles sauber, sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück und die Lage und Anbindung an die Bahn ist super 👍 Das Gepäck kann man am Anreise oder Abreisetag kostenfrei lagern, damit man die Koffer nicht umherschleppen muss.

Nettes, kleines Hotel, zwar nicht im Zentrum, aber man kommt mit der U-Bahn unkompliziert dahin. Die Station "Northfields" ist gegenüber vom Hotel. Das Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und für mich auch groß genug. Wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel gibt es auch einen Supermarkt oder Café's.

Die Lage ist ideal zwischen Heathrow und City direkt an der Tube. Die Zimmer sehr Standard. Wir hatten das Fenster nach oben hin ;-) Insgesamt zweckmässig, wenn auch der Preis alles andere als günstig war, aber für London akzeptabel.
