My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and were in awe about this hotel. Its location is perfect for those looking to have nearby transport links but with the option to discover the gems outside the buzz of the main city. Easily walkable to Les Gobelins and Gare d'Austerlitz- both with connections to CDG and Orly. The room is stylish and quaint. Beautifully designed with minimalist touches, the bed was the comfiest you could ever imagine! We were sleeping on a cloud The coffee machine in the room was a lovely addition but what we really loved was the steps towards sustainability. You can choose to have a greener stay with fewer housekeeping check-ins and the toiletries were reusable so it saved wastage of smaller ones you usually get in bigger hotels. We loved using the sauna, it was a great facility to use after a long day waking around cold Paris! The staff were impeccable with communication and any queries, they were very helpful and kind considering our French was basic. Thanks so much!
We liked the Comfortable bed, the showers were very nice. The hotel is well located. We enjoyed our stay.
My short stay at this hotel was a joy from start to finish. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant and courteous. My room was on 5th floor as requested, and had very good views. They would have been exceptional if Paris hadn't been shrouded in low cloud and mist throughout my stay! The room was a decent size (especially as I was travelling alone) and extremely comfortable. There were many lovely touches of luxury, beautiful smelling toiletries, a good quality hairdryer, pleasant refreshments, including a bottle of purified water which could be refilled at reception, generous towels, good bedding, and a lovely little balcony. Sound insulation was very good. The « eco » wooden door key was better than those plastic ones which need to be tried multiple times to work, just requiring a tap. Everyone was friendly, including the ladies cleaning the rooms in the morning. Breakfast was copious with good viennoiseries, freshly pressed orange juice etc The atmosphere in the breakfast room was upbeat, there seemed to be a celebratory reunion of a group of Scandinavians :) Staff attended discreetly to the maintenance of the buffet. The lift was a bit clanky but did the job! All part of the experience of staying in a beautiful old building, albeit very tastefully modernised. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include instructions for the nespresso maker as I'm a bit of a technology dummy. Maybe I just missed them. I also loved the area where the hotel is situated, an attractive boulevard, just beyond the lively quartier latin but within easy walking distance of all sorts of treasures: the jardin des plantes, the Panthéon etc and lots of places to eat nearby. All in all a truly delightful short stay. I could say more but don't know if there's a word limit. I can't wait to return, next time with my husband. Thank you so much to all the staff.
Pleasant staff and terrific breakfast. The room we had happened to have a view of the Eiffel tower lit up at night. One drawback to this room- there were no open electrical outlets.
Well located to Latin Quarter. Lovely breakfast Nice clean and spacious room with views including Eiffel Tower
Good - nice staff - good environment - near to plenty of coffee shops and restaurants around Bad - location is quite far from many attractions however the metro station is near - rooms are on the smaller size Overall really enjoyed my stay here
A small hotel that provided excellent value for money. The staff could not be more helpful and handled non-French speakers with great tact and patience. I will use this hotel again for the next conference and plan to visit this coming spring as a vaction
Very small rooms, I got a room looking on a back of a building. Restaurant is very small as well offering limited options for breakfast. The advantage is the location which was good. I would say you pay much more than you get.
I loved this hotel because very confortable in all its facilities. We had a nice room with a confortable bed and bathroom. There was all we could need: free water, coffee/tea, complimentary cookies. Location was in a nice area easily accessible via metro. We will surely go back!
Lovely hotel in a nice residential area of Paris the rooms are exceptional value I think for what you get for the price . We took our daughter for her 18th and had two rooms and they kindly gave my daughter a room with view of the Eiffel Tower at our pre request at no extra cost. The rooms although small had everything you need in them with very comfy king beds, it was spotlessly clean and the maids came in everyday. The bathrooms are compact but looked to be recently upgraded and had great showers in them with hot water all day / night. The breakfast was included and was very good including hot cooked and cold choices plus croissants / bread fresh fruit and coffee fruit juice etc all replenished if running low. All the staff were polite and helpful. The area the hotel is in felt very safe it is in a street it's residential area with a big supermarket and some nice butchers and delis locals were using plus a few bars and cafes we used a couple of the cafes and restaurants and they were good. There's two metros nearby and lots of bus stops we used both buses and metros with a card we purchased at the station that can be used for all travel and the hotel was really easily situated for travelling around Paris. From the two metros I thought les goblins felt safer as it was just down the main road and round the corner 5 mins away. We travelled a few nights on the metro past midnight back to the hotel and still felt safe using the metro and walking back to the hotel which was important for us. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would come back.
We stayed at this place for 4 nights. Clean and spacious room, smooth check in. Walkable distance to NotreDame cathedral and the Latin quarter. Decent breakfast options. Very helpful staff. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and the metro station a 5 minute walk away.
Cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The service was impeccable, especially Darwin and Olivia! It was centrally located, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Rooms were big too. High recommend staying here if you are in Paris!
This place is just wonderful! Close to the metro - maybe five minute walk, check in was easy and efficient, offered an upgraded room which turned out to be excellent in every way. Very clean, well equipped, quiet nights sleep and then easy to get out and about Paris. This place is an oasis in the city, lovely to come back to at the end of the day, staff friendly and helpful and definitely somewhere I will look at first next time I visit Paris
Darwin checked us in and was one of the sweetest Parisians we have ever met! He was helpful and great. The amenities were nice. The shampoo lotion and product line were wonderful. We had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our bedroom on the 6th floor!!! We will return.
This hotel was a GEM!! I stayed in an awful place the 5 nights prior to finding this hotel and the minute I walked in, I felt welcomed and at home. The building was beautiful, the room was great and I loved having access to a sauna! The location was awesome. The air conditioning worked, the room was quiet and being near a train line was perfect. I highly recommend!
Great breakfast choices, helpful staff, clean facilities, and the best location for our week stay. Olympics were wonderful. Easy location for the Uber driver to pick us up. I would stay again. Prices were high due to the Olympic. My family enjoyed meeting for breakfast.
We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Plenty of details receive you and the location is perfect. I will repeat without no doubt
Very lovely experience at this small hotel that really felt like a boutique property. Front desk folks get to know patrons because they are right in the middle of a little hospitality area featuring baked treats, flavored water and snacks. My room - a single - felt a bit like a dorm room in size but it was impeccably clean. The bathroom is nicely appointed with modern shower and toiletries. I was frankly away from the room a lot at event, but never felt inconvenienced. Very quiet too. I loved that the windows open. The area is safe and well-traveled. The metro is about three blocks away but there are numerous cafes and businesses between metro and the property. So you feel safe walking the distance after dark. An area with everything you need from manicure, Target style household goods/grocery, liquor store, bakery, bank and electronics - when my phone charger died. Paris has done such an excellent job with incorporating the Olympics into the city. One day I was at the corner cafe eating breakfast when a bike race sped by.
Cute decent hotel in a nice neighborhood. I had one night in Paris traveling internationally, and I think this was a good choice for an affordable price. I had a "classic" room which was very small and had a window looking into the alley. The room was so small that an open luggage rack would either block the door to the room or the door to the toilet so had to shift it back and forth to use either door. If you are staying more than a couple nights, I would recommend a larger room. The beautiful large shower head would have been wonderful in a larger shower. It was way too big for the tiny space so I had to use the handheld! I liked that the hotel provided an aluminum bottle of water plus a glass water jug refillable downstairs rather than the typical courtesy plastic bottles of water from Costco. The blackout curtains completely blocked out our perception of morning time, and I had no issues with noise. The bed was very comfortable. I got a great sleep! All the staff I interacted with at the hotel were friendly. We arrived in the morning, and they not only held our luggage until check-in but also had put the bags in our room already when we came back. If you don't eat breakfast at the hotel, there are cafes close by. Metro station Les Gobelins is walking distance about 1/4 mile away.
We had a great experience, everything was good, the staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was varied We loved it The only two inconveniences were: 1- There was no fridge in the room, so we had to take our food to them to put it in the kitchen's fridge and get it back whenever needed. 2- We can't adjust the air conditioner's temperature, we had to call them every time we needed to change it. Other than that, everything was great.
Me and my sister went for a trip to Paris and this hotel was perfect! The staff were very friendly, room was a good size and the hotel was in a great location. The room was ready on our arrival so we could check in early and they upgraded us to a junior suite! Would definitely recommend staying here.
My wife and I LOVED the La Demeure. The manager and all employees were professional, helpful, and friendly, and the hotel is located in a great spot next to restaurants, cafes, parks, and churches. The buffet breakfast was far superior to most equally-priced US hotels. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well-decorated. An extremely pleasant stay, and we will hopefully come again.
This was a well situated hotel near to transport bus/metro with breakfast which was substantial included in the price. Room small but modern including the bathroom but with everything that is needed. The staff on the front desk were extremely helpful & accommodating & let us check in early without asking.
This was by far the nicest Best Western that we have ever stayed in. Very boutique feeling. Wonderful staff and wonderful facilities. Would stay again any time.
We enjoyed on one night in Paris at this lovely hotel. The rooms were beautiful- we had a balcony and could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The staff was so helpful, arranged taxis to the airport in the morning. The hotel felt like a small boutique. I would stay here again.
Best Western Plus La Demeure offers a charming stay in Paris. The hotel's elegant decor and comfortable rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere. Its convenient location near public transport makes exploring the city easy. However, some guests note occasional noise disturbances and limited amenities. Overall, a pleasant choice for a Parisian getaway.
I would stay here again Rooms were clean and well appointed Great rain shower 2 TV stations in English Reception desk is extremely helpful
We were pleased with our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly, and we were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony from which we could see the Eiffel Tower. Our room was small, but lovely, with large windows that looked out into the street, allowing us to be part of the city. We opted for having breakfast included, which worked out well because the breakfast had a good range of warm and cold options. I The only caveat: part of the reason I booked this hotel was because of its location, namely its proximity to the Latin Quarter. That was my misunderstanding because I assumed we would be IN the Latin Quarter. However, if you are willing to walk (and we were), it's not a huge deal.
The hotel staff are excellent. So helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing I would say is our room was very small. It wasn't an issue for me but could be for others. Saying it is on a busy road the rooms soundproofing against noise is really good, the bed and pillows are super comfy. Good WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I had a great stay here.
The room Wes comfy enough, the noise from traffic and building work quite noisy for my non deaf husband! The thing I found odd was that there was no bar as such and everything had to go on the bill as reception handled purchase! Not the end of the world, just different and not a bar! Didn't have breakfast as left for the airport early!
Great hotel located close to Jardin des Plantes. Cosy rooms and very nice and helpful staff. The best boutique hotel breakfast I have had in Europe. My best recommendations and I look very much forward to visiting this wonderful hotel again.
Excellent stay professionnal Excellent crew Lovely place Breakfast simple and délicious Charming surprise
I'm amazed that there are any good reviews for this rather shabby and dirty hotel. It was not what I expected from a 4 stars. I booked 5 days in Paris to celebrate my husband's birthday and was very disappointed. The room wasn't cleaned and towels weren't replaced when left on the bath. The bathroom was extremely poky, the door hitting the toilet as you entered. The air conditioning seemed to have stopped working after day 3 and the breakfast was dreadful. I'm not sure what the scrambled egg was made of but it tasted odd. Boiled eggs were cold and there was no facility to boil your own. You'd get a better breakfast in an IBIS hotel. Anybody who says that the food is good doesn't know what good food should taste like.
Small hotel in a calm neighborhood of Paris. Pleasant staff. Cleaning was good. Breakfast with all the basic stuff you need. Sauna room was really nice. Many small shops, cafes and restaurants in the area. Close to Jardin des Plantes.
I loved this hotel! They really brought the Paris vibe, the staff were so kind, had umbrellas for guests as it ALWAYS rains in paris, and the room service was top notch. The rooms themselves are a decent size, especially for those of Paris because they are usually very small. The bathrooms were beautiful with a lovely shower and so clean which i really appriciate as a girl who needs space to get ready and do my makeup lol. When my friend wanted to go to sleep early, I utilized the lobby area with big comfy couches, charging stations, and a tv to hangout and facetime with my family.
Great experience at a stylish and well considered hotel. Loved the decor and friendly staff and the excellent hot and continental breakfast. Very convenient location very close to Gare Australitz for trains.
A really comfortable and cozy place in the heart of Paris if you want to go for explore. Super delicious and various itemed breakfast and short distance to local transportation. Metro by a 5 minute walk and bus in front of the entrance.
Had quite a good stay other than the fact that the heating in our bedroom would not work and it was cold everyday and that on the last day when checking out we was told there was a fee of €180 to be paid as “city tax” , when we questioned the receptionist he eventually broke down the cost and said that actually there was a charge for a “romantic room” and charges of “rose petals and champagne” when neither of these were requested and we paid for a standard room, the charge then went from that to €48 so without questioning we could've paid €140 unnecessarily
Nicely renovated hotel with friendly staff and very good housekeeping. We did enjoy the bed, pillows and the bathroom. Perfect for two guys. However, we did miss a mini bar and the safety box was out of order (we did ask the reception to fix it, which they didn't.) Breakfast is not included but it can be added for an additional €18 / person. We considered that a bit pricy since you easily can pop outside and have breakfast at a nice café instead. Nevertheless, a staff member told us that a light breakfast (with croissants) could be arranged for €8 euros / person which is perfect. The hotel is a bit off so we used Bolt/Uber quite sometimes and the fare would be around €13-15 to more active places. You also have the underground quite close. Even if it is cheap you still have to change one or two times to get where you want to be. We can absolutely recommend La Demeure for your next stay in Paris.
It was a great experience staying at this hotel!! Staff was very friendly, sauna was wonderfull, Cora's cake at breakfast was delicious and a cup of hot chocolate in the lobby every afternoon was so nice. Can't wait to come back to visit!!!!!
Very quiet area, beautiful rooms, nice breakfast, friendly staff and nice wellness space. We booked two rooms at Best Western Plus La Demeure for a short family city trip in Paris. Everything was perfect!
I stayed there from Dec 25th to Dec 28th. They said I will receive my deposit back in three business days. It's been a month. I didn't receive it yet. I paid for everything, there is nothing to keep my money there
Very comfortable bed and pillows. Shower provided hot water. Only thing room could have used was a mini fridge. Otherwise, a great value. A pretty good stay overall and walking distance to a super market and pharmacy.
It's my third stay there. I like the place, well located in Paris 5th, and its services. The people are helpful and the breakfast is great. I could have used an alarm clock and a heating system that worked better, The lack of French and American newspaper is odd.
We were lucky to find this great hotel for our last night in Paris. The hotel has a boutique feel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great (central but not too touristy), breakfast was very good and the room was well appointed. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip back to Paris.
This little boutique hotel offers everything the big hotels and more, a more intimate experience with little touches which make the stay extra special. A fantastic place overall. Situated well near some of best parks in Paris and a stones throw away from all the Paris icons.
I really enjoyed my experience here! The hotel is in the latin quarter so super accessible to bakeries/grocery stores/metro/etc. it is about a 15-20 walk to RER B which takes you directly from airport. The staff was amazing! Super accommodating and helpful. Breakfast spread was quite extensive and delicious. Would definitely stay again!
We were nervous about our stay in Paris. What district to stay in and all the talk about the small rooms. After hours on the computer and reading hundreds of reviews I settled on the La Demeure. What a fantastic choice. Our room was on the 6th floor and they have an elevator that is adequate in size for about 4 people. The room was good size and a fantastic bed that was about the size of a queen. Nice because I'm a big guy. The staff were super helpful with everything. The Metro was just a short stop away and after using for a week seemed found it to be perfect for getting to every popular stop in Paris. Including Versailles. This is in district 5 the Latin district. It is a fun SAFE district with so many great places to eat. The hotel has a bakery across the street and a grocery store just steps away. We tried three different restaurants within 300 feet and they all were wonderful and inexpensive. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel as we are not breakfast people but it looked nice. The only reason I didn't give this hotel a 5 was because our room had a beautiful bathroom with a beautiful tub. The tub had a shower nozzle but no curtain. It was fun at first but got to be a chore to wash hair and a little difficult for old bones to get down and then out of the tub. It was really the only negative for this hotel. We did not ask to change the room so we don't know if other rooms have showers or what. If you are an older person make sure they can give you a room with a shower of some time. Overall this was a great location and wonderful place to stay for a visit to this beautiful city.
This is a lovely hotel with the most helpful staff. The lady at the front desk was amazing. The beds are so comfortable and rooms are so clean. Beautiful decor and a great space. Going to stay her again when i return.
The hotel is located in a nice area within walking distance to a lot of lovely places like Pantheon, Quartier Latin, the Botanic Garden and even Canal S:t Martin and Marais. The room was quite small but very nice and clean and we had a lovely view over the rooftops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. We loved the breakfast that included everything we could ask. Nice and friendly staff.
We had a very enjoyable stay at La Demeure. Great welcome by the staff at checkin, with cookies and drinks for my son, who enjoyed them very much. Breakfeast buffet was lovely, with pancakes, viennoiseries, fresh juices, etc.
I lived the service we received during our stay at the hotel. Housekeeping, front desk and breakfast- all of it was perfect service - the staff was very kind and always willing to support with information and whatever we could need. The room was kept very clean! I highly recommend the hotel!
Gave us an earlier room since we were tired from our flight (not having slept) Always ready to answer our questions s Near the bus terminal easy access to everything She did her best to make our stay comfortable
To be honest, we were a bit disappointed with our stay. The amenities, the noise from the floor above us and the problem with the ceiling of the bathroom (apparently the ceiling was not properly installed, since each time we opened or closed the door it would create pressure lifting the ceiling and making a lot of noise) are more in line with a 3 star hotel.
We booked something else, but it was overbooked. We were welcome at La Demeure and we were treated very nice. Especially our dog and kids. The room was nice and clean. Beds were very very good and there was no sound of the city in the night. The people were very helpfull
The hotel is very nice with airconditioning in the rooms, pretty close to restaurants, and the boat taxi. Would stay again in this hotel. Only half hour taxi ride to the airport, also you must go to the bakery in the morning across the street, it is amazing.
Great hotel. Super chic and easy access to Le Gobelins metro. Absolutely spotless. Huge shout out to the cleaning staff. Positives: Huge towels which was fabulous. Lots of sockets and even 2 USB charging points. Amazing air con!!! Desk with mirror. Wonderful shower. Free water each day in the room. Bed super comfy and king size. Lots of lights and lamps and reading lights. Beautifully remade room every day. Lots of quirky storage and shelving. Beautiful decor and styling of room. Possible negatives but not for us: only one English Channel which was BBC world news (I watched live tennis so didn't bother me.. but you may want to some downloading before you arrive). Only half a dozen hangers on an open rail, so we lived out of our suitcases which we are fine with as only here for 3 nights. OVERALL…lovely staff, reception and cleaning staff. We really liked the location as we were prolific users of the metro and bus so could get everywhere from here. Great stay and we would definitely stay here again xxx
Very nice hotel in a quiet but central Paris location. Close to Metro and really great restaurants. The staff speaks English well and does everything they can to accommodate you. The breakfast is not to be missed!!! TONS of flavorful local options well beyond the standards. We had the facial which my daughter loved and having a small fitness center and sauna is a plus and rare in Paris hotels. Definitely will consider this property for future stays in Paris. My Superior room had a small place to hang clothes, 2 twin beds with great bedding. The bathroom was spacious with a heated towel rack, vanity and good water pressure. My only critique is that the bathroom floor could have been sloped a bit better was after a bit water seeps into other parts of the bathroom - but we created a towel dam to solve that.
Very clean comfortable hotel, staff are lovely, polite and very helpful. Walking distance to everywhere, some lovely cafes close by. Room was kept lovely and clean,we had a junior suite which was very big for paris,we had plenty of room.
Pros: The receptionists were helpful and can understand English. The shower's water pressure was good and refreshing. The bathrooms are renovated. There was filtered water available for drinking and could be replaced by bringing the bottles down to reception. The beds were good. The internet was sufficient. The hotel is located on a street where there are many eateries, bakeries and banks, and a short walk from a Carrefour supermarket, and not far from the Metro stations. Cons: There is only one elevator, and at one point, it was out of order. It was difficult to sleep at night as there were loud sirens, trucks or motorcycles rumbling through the night, as well as people talking outside. Notes: 1) If booking directly with the hotel (this particular hotel, not the Best Western site), you get free breakfast. 2) Also, somehow the rate we booked through the Best Western site did not include the city taxes, which this hotel collected upon check out. 3) If you ask the hotel to prebook the taxi from the airport, it costs you 30 Euros more than if you wait in the taxi line because the taxi has to pay for parking. The trip took about 40 minutes on an early Saturday morning.
really nice last minute room for an unexpected layover in Paris - staff, location ,room, breakfast, self serve bar area all we're great! why is there a minimum of 200 characters ? smile face emoji - I'm usually pretty brief....
Great services in a confortable hôtel located in an amazing environment full of activities and curiosities! The hotel has interesting access to the parking of Le jardin des Plantes! Great restaurant at proximity
Nice hotel in a lovely district of Paris - lots of lovely shops and restaurants in this area - which is part residential / part touristy. We had a very comfortable stay - our room was on the 5th floor with great views across Paris. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
This is the smallest room we've ever been in in Paris. There's literally no space to walk and we have to squeeze through the room to go from the WC to the sink. The bathroom is really tiny as well and the floor area is smaller than a normal sized bath towel!!
Everithing Was good ,perfect position for visiting Paris duriing our stay for the end of 2022. The only problem was a signal of alarm for smoking at 4 o clock in the morning but this is not a hotel's fault!
The location was great, the service top level. Clean room, comfortable bad, coffe machine and filter water in the room for free. The hotel will be a best choice for your stay. Close to gare de Lyon. The service on the reception desk was very helpful and looking after what you need.
Recently stayed here with my family for a short city break, the hotel is clean, the standard rooms are kind of small however we upgraded for a good price and the other room was great, the location is great plenty of restaurants and shops around and a great coffee shop (Crible) near by. The hotel has parking just 2 minutes away which is great and it's secure. The staff at the hotel are very polite and helpful and go beyond to help you, I would recommend and would stay here again.
I won't bore you with “he said, she said”, but let's be clear: a person working a reception desk should be, above all, receptive. Whether it is lack of training, extreme job dissatisfaction, or simply having a bad day, the woman in charge of checking people wins the title for the worst service I've experienced in 20 years of international travel. Condescending, sharp-tongued, and lazy. A brilliant combination for guests to experience. So outrageous, her boss offered to send up champagne as an apology. It never arrived. I travel to paris often, but will not stay in this hotel again. Small rooms in paris are normal (as this hotel offers), but small minded employees who clearly hate their job is not to be tolerated.
Stayed here for 2 nights, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel. We didn't eat there, but the rooms were lovely, and all the reception staff were very friendly. The location was good. As only a 5 min walk from metro, and about 10/15 mins to the lively areas.
The Amazing staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs, the clean tidy rooms were nicely styled and bathrooms were nice , with comfortable beds and great location to local shops and dining 10/10 would stay again!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Staff are welcoming and friendly and great with kids. The whole team work hard to provide a great time. Room was always cleaned daily and reception staff so helpful to ensure the trip runs smoothly. Close to metro, a supermarket and lots lovely eating places. I would def stay again nothing was ever too much trouble thank you
The hotel la Demeure is a small character hotel on Boul St Marcel bordering on the Latin Quarters east side. The rooms and common areas have been modernized and are clean and comfortable. The location is close to the metro and on a main bus route that traverses all the tours areas. All the amenities are within a block- patisserie, markets, cafes and restaurants.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was on the 6th floor with great views across Paris. It was very clean and comfortable with a great shower. This district of Paris is very nice with lots of neighbourhood cafes, restaurants, shops and interesting streets and we will certainly return again.
Rooms were very clean and staff were incredibly nice. Front desk went above and beyond by reserving a taxi for us so that we wouldn't be late for our flight early the next morning. Although the room was a little tight, it's pretty common. Bathroom looked recently updated.
Very nice atmosphere in the whole hotel. Kind staff that helps you with everything and even take the time to make a joke :) When we arrived way too early the room wasn't ready yet, but it was no problem to leave our luggage. The check-in was smooth. The room itself was brand new, very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!
We had a lovely 5 day stay. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Room was perfect for our family. Air conditioning was excellent given very hot weather. Buffet breakfast beautiful. This area is a perfect base for site seeing with the bus just outside the hotel & shops/restaurants in the local area.
Overall I had a good stay at the hotel. The room was nice and clean, comfortable bed and good bathroom. Workout facility did the job. Nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants of varying cuisine away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but still close enough to it. Only complaints are you have to ask the front desk to adjust the temperature in your room. As a US based chain I was disappointed they don't have universal power outlets in the rooms.
Staff was very polite and welcoming! i was very impressed by the quality of services provided by the staff and the 2 gentlemen working at the reception during my stay but a rooms are a bit overpriced. Hotel was clean and room were clean.
We travelled as a couple for a 2-night weekend away. This hotel has a great location, lovely staff and nicely renovated hotel. The room was very small though - I had expected this from reading previous reviews, so had booked a "superior double room with relaxation space" but cannot imagine where the relaxation space was meant to be - the desk (though this was snug against the bed once sitting)? or the balcony (though not relaxing with the street noise and weather and nowhere to sit)? I even wondered if we were in a classic suite (queried with front desk, nope). 4 stars are credit to the staff and the amazing location with lots of lovely restaurants, cafes, markets, metro and bus stations. Hotel has great sauna and gym, we didnt try the breakfast (lots of boulangeries nearby) but it looked good. We would stay again, but would have to be prepared to book a suite
Our "classic room" on the 6th floor was spacious & lovely--except we had no hot water in the tub/shower and the bed needs a new mattress. A/C worked fine, even with the heat wave. Breakfast was more than adequate, with excellent coffee.
Hotel is nice and clean. Good breakfast. Hotel is located in quite area, close to metro station. Many bistros and shops around. Hotel room for family with 2 children could be a bit bigger for more comfort. I recommend this hotel.
I can only recommend this small but very friendly hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean. I enjoyed the continental breakfast very much. Bars and restaurant, bus and metro station are in the neighborhood
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, as a group of 4 in two seperate rooms. The staff did everything possible to accomodate all of our requests, called us taxi's and gave helpful suggestions. Super friendly and couldn't recommend staying here more.
This is a very well located hotel, clean with attentive and polite staff. However, the rooms are too small. There was no cupboard, just a dusty curtain in front of a rail and almost no space to get around the bed (so not a space to relax in).
The hotel is cozy, very clean, and has great amenities. The staff gives you a great customer service. Also, is located close to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. I loved staying there! I definitely recommend it!
My stay was short business trip but with many things I had to address. This was helped by the support I received from the tremendous Hotel staff, nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel itself is smart with a modern interior but still classy in its own right. I will stay here again if I return to Paris.
The hotel was conveniently located and the staff was very welcoming. Overall we had a great stay! The only point that could be improved was the room which temperature which was too warm. A/C could not switched on in May.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Service was great as was the room. Nice decor, good bed and nice view. Nice services like wellness and fitness available and well equipped. We will come back when we plan our next visit to Paris! Three nights was to short…
Best Western did not disappoint us. We are BW members and we are happy to have chosen BW La Demeure for its excellent quality service and cleanliness. Breakfast was great and the staff were superb from the front reception to the cleaners and the kitchen staff. Great job! Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!
Amazing staff. With some problems with our baggage at the airport we recieved a lot of help from the staff at the hotel. Desk agent Ismael mad a lot of phonecalls to help us to locate and to make sure that we would get our baggage back. The service was really suberb.
We (2 adults and 2 young children) stayed in a junior suite for two nights following a busy Disneyland holiday. Our suite was spacious with a large comfortable bed and generous pull out sofa. The rooms were spotless and very calming. Lots of lighting options, large soft towels, good coffee machine and complementary teddies for the children all lent to a great stay. The breakfast was excellent and the staff we met were all very friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we explored the Jardin des plantes and the latin quarter on foot, and the Eiffel tower was an easy metro journey away. We will not hesitate to book again. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
The hotel has a great location, ideal to reach several tourist places directly by walk and plenty of places to lunch or dinner; it's very well connected with public transport lines. Personnel is amazing and always willing to help. The room, despite a bit small, is always very clean and comfortable
From communication before arrival to check out: this hotel offers charming, welcoming venue where quality is outstanding. Decorative and comfortable & cosy rooms. Professional fitness, sauna and in everything else going the extra mile to make guests feel at home.
I really enjoyed staying here. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Internet had a super strong signal. It's a little outside of the touristy areas, but just a couple blocks from Metro or still within walking distance to sites such as Notre Dame & Maubert market.
Junior suite is very nice and comfortable, not just your typical hotel room. Staff is super friendly and not hard to walk or grab a taxi to/from hotel. Parking is available although the garage is very hard to navigate
We stayed at the hotel for a week. Excellent and friendly service at the front desk, all very helpful in providing directions and advice on where we could do our covid tests. The room was comfortable and clean, a little small but still OK size by Parisian standards. Bathroom is a little tight but shower and hot water worked really well which was very important for me. Overall an very enjoyable stay.
When I was just arrived, I was obliged to leave a caution of 50 €, for "any service you can get and not pay". I was really offended by this request, and it is the first time I hear of this. It seems to me offensive for any customer of high -level hotels, especially in a room with no fridge! Moreover, the role of the concierge seems to be unuseful, if he doesn't know that the lift is not working and he doesn't advice customers living at the second floor
Its my first time in Paris and I stayed at Best Western Plus La Demeure and staying at this hotel helped me enjoyed my stay in Paris even more. The hotel receptionist (specifically Leo) is very friendly and accommodating, making sure that have everything I need and that I feel really welcome. He is very hospitable and speaks english really well. The rooms are really clean and the design gives you a Parisian vibes. I got even surprise that you can book the sauna privately for yourself and have a good massage. I will definitely recommend staying at this place. The price is also reasonable and pretty cheap for the quality you can get. Thumbs up!
We stayed for one night. It was very close to the metro, only a 6 minute walk. The staff was friendly and the room was great and specious with a lovely view. We will definitely come back here when in Paris
Staff very helpful and room was clean with a comfy bed, but very small. The bathroom only had space to stand in one spot on the floor, very difficult to easily shower/dress. We didn't have breakfast but it looked good.
We stayed in Junior Suite and no complaints. The room is clean and good enough for 4 people to stay. Staff are friendly . The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to the metro station . There are nearby good restaurants to dine . Will definitely use this hotel upon my return.
Average hotel in Paris. The hotel is a renovated apartment building with tight halls. The junior suite did not have a fridge. Overall clean room. Location was good, calm area. A bit over priced compared to the standard. The parking was around 800m away.
Rooms were tiny. but that's probably to be expected in a city hotel at this price level. What drove me NUTS though was the piano in the little lounge adjacent to reception. Twice when I wanted to sit in the reception area - work and talk to friends/colleagues, someone was having fun with the piano. In both instances, someone was practicing - both piano and singing and THEY were having a fabulous time. That's fine - but I had no option but to listen to loud (and not very good) singing and playing - nowhere else to go - and again, it was LOUD! I'm not sure that the balance of one or two people having fun while everyone else just has to listen is right and think they should put the piano somewhere more isolated, get rid of it - or have one with headphones so others can live/drink in peace.
My daughter and I stayed in this lovely hotel and it was everything I'd hoped for. I was prepared for the room to be small, and it was, it being Paris, but it was thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated, so that it wasn't an inconvenience. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I wished I could take them home with me, and the shower luxurious even while small. The staff was so friendly and helpful, particularly one young man, my favorite concierge, who's name I wish I'd thought to get. He helped us find Covid tests at the last second when I was in a panic, asked how we'd faired when we returned, and wished us a safe trip. I arranged a taxi to the airport ahead of time for early morning and it arrived without a hitch. We also booked a tour through their website which was wonderful. The hotel is quiet and in a beautiful neighborhood within easy walking distance to public transportation, restaurants, and shops. We highly recommend this fine hotel.
I particularly liked the push-button rain shower, which worked perfectly every time. The breakfast was always perfect. I needed a bigger desk for work, and the staff were helpful in bringing a second table. From this larger desk I had a long view of the Eiffel Tower! (I was on the sixth floor - not every room would have that view, but I certainly enjoyed it.)
Great hotel, staff is friendly and helpful. Nice location, close to several metro stations, lots of restaurants in the area. We wanted a room on a higher floor then the one provided. Sophie was amazing accommodating our request, and we ended up getting a room with a nice view.
Frendly Service, Special thanks to Le Specjał thanks to Leo. Tasty breakfast. Kind atmosphere. Comfortable beed, nice design. Recently renovated. No sink in the toalet, and cold Scrambled eggs on breakfast, that was the only inconvenience.
One of the best hotels me and my boyfriend have been to. Super clean and modern rooms for a great price. The staff at the front desk were all so nice!! Would definitely go here again next time we go to Paris :)
Very nice days in this Hotel. Short distances to the Metro (3-4 min.) and Bus Station( near the Hotel). We prefered to walk in Paris so we reached the seigtseinngs in aprox. 45 -55 min. The room is clean. The beed is comfortable. The staff at the reception was always very helpfull and profesional. Good locations to eat and drink something in the neighberhood.
Excellent restful stay after a long flight from the US. The staff is courteous and welcoming, the breakfast is scrumptious, the room is very clean and comfortable. I will definitely make it my Paris stay when I come back.
We had a wonderful stay. We stayed one night. The kids in the room next to ours and friends of ours across the hall. Nice that we were placed next to each other. I told the lady at the front desk that it was my wife's birthday and when we later arrived in our room there was a little bottle of champagne waiting for us with a card from the staff. Really nice. The hotel is perfectly situated. Clean room nicely decorated and wonderful bed.
Good location, near the Austerlitz station, and plenty of small restaurants. Friendly staff, both at reception and breakfast. Quiet room, even on the first floor, boulevard side. Dog friendly. Value for money.
We had an amazing stay at Best Western Plus La Demeure. When we arrived we first got a room with at the third floor with a view to the garden. However when we asked the staff if it was possible to switch rooms, they were so nice and switched us immediatly to a room with city view on the fifth floor! Overall we had a very pleasent stay and the staff helped us with every little thing. Would definitly recommend and looking forward to get back as soon as possible!
Nice, cosy, well situated. We booked two rooms for a family of four (two adults + 2 children), but the allotted rooms were in two different floors. The lift was out of order. The rooms were nice and clean but really small, without wardrobes. The bath was also nice but small.
The superior twin room was a good accommodation per us and the people professional. But the last day there was a trouble with the lift. So we went up and down on the stairs even with the baggages. The room was located at the fourth and we are not young people ...
Had a wonderful couple of days here. very peaceful and pleasant part of town and not too far from the center. The hotel staff are most helpful and courteous. The room was a little on the small side but not too small.
We really enjoyed our stay in your hotel. Your front desk service was very nice and good, the room was - although maybe somewhat small - excellent in cleanliness, finish, and facilities, and the location is conveniently close to metro stations. We would definitely come back to this place!
I went on vacation with my boy-friend, the hotel is amazing and the staff is really lovely, definetely we'll come back, I advise it to everybody, the rooms are comfortable and with a wonderful view of Paris
A 2 day trip to Paris for me & my daughter so it was very important to have a good hotel in a nice location, close to the Metro and plenty of restaurants nearby!! What an amazing hotel - from a super friendly receptionist who stored our bags as room was not ready (we arrived in the morning!!) and also booked our batobus (water taxi) tickets online (cheaper than at the kiosk) to a fabulous room with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower and a gorgeous little balcony with lights on - so pretty!! The room was lovely, bed was so comfortable and the shower amazing!!! The towels were super thick and even slippers were provided - essential for relaxing in after walking round Paris all day!!! We didn't use the Spa as we were too tired but the staff were so attentive in letting us know it was available should we wish to use it!! The breakfast was lovely - gorgeous pancakes, mini pastries, fresh fruit, good coffee and juices! Cooked breakfast looked nice too and the waitress was really nice too!! To sum it up - lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast - 100% recommend and we will definitely return!!! Thank you for a great overnight stay!!!
Stayed here for Valentine's day all the facilities were lush I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to completely relax. the Hotel staff were very welcoming anything we needed we were catered too. I was very lucky to have the top floor view and could see the Eiffel tower light show at night which was a bonus this was my first trip to Paris I would highly recommend! Thank you for our stay Le Demeure.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Always asked how we were and were there 24/7 if we needed anything. Hotel itself had everything we needed and good location for cafes, restaurants and local shops. Very close to metro and easy to get around. Room itself was quiet small but I noticed alot of hotels in Paris were like that. Very modern and room cleaned everyday. Could not fault.
The hotel was so nice, the staff was so helpful and the shower was amazing! I went by car and used it a lot, the area was super nice for this as well. The staff was so easygoing, and didn't act difficult or rude when I wanted a late check out. Definitely going to stay here more often when I go to paris. Very pleasantly left to go back home
This is a convenient and clean hotel, which was close to the venue of our meeting. The room was clean and and had all requirements. The room was a bit small though. Many restaurants nearby and a nice breakfast buffet.
I had just one night at the Best Western Plus La Demeure and everything was perfect! My room was very spacious and the breakfast very fresh and delicious with lots of options. It was my second time there and certainly not the last!
My stay at Best Western Plus La Demeure has been amazing and super comfortable. The hotel has everything you need to feel at home (great gym, big rooms, comfy bathroom, etc...) I will definitely come back sooner than later.
I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights, and I must say this went very well. The room I stayed in was very small, however did the trick. Sticking to that theme, the bathroom is also quite small, but still adequate. What really pushed it over the line was the shower, which was very nice especially considering I'm quite tall.
The staff is very nice but not accommodating. Rooms were cozy and clean at check in. My room had a great view of the city. Housekeeping did not change my linens and my stay was 6 nights. The elevator was out of service a few hours after I checked in and was not repaired until it was time for me to check out. My room was on the 6th floor and they did not offer to move me to a lower floor. Some of the people staying there left because they simply could not climb the stairs multiple times a day. I would've left also if I would've received a full refund.
Wonderful stay on nye. Great views. Lovely staff and very helpful. Clean room and lovely shower. Would be good if breakfast was included but great location and lots to do. Very close to the Louvre which is one quick bus ride away
Location of the hotel is excellent, very close to all the main sites. Good places to eat nearby. The neighborhood was safe to walk late at night. The staff was amazing all along and was very attentive. Great rooms and views from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely recommend to stay here and would also stay here again!
The hotel is on the edge of the Latin Quarter and within walking distance to Notre Dame. The junior suite worked well for 2 couples and was both roomy and nicely appointed. The reception room and sitting rooms in the lobby were very nice, too. We did the full breakfast which was so convenient. Loved everything about this place!
This was our final hotel for our 3 week trip to Europe. We had a junior for the 4 of us and it was very spacious and comfortable. Front desk staff extremely helpful - got us a car for return trip to airport and made sure that all was confirmed. Paris is a very large city and this location is close to Notre Dame, but not to any other sites. You can walk to the Dame and catch a hop on hop off for touring. Lots of subways - but there was a strike while we were there so not sure if they would have helped. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would recommend this hotel.
We had a very pleasant stay at La Demeure. Refurbished and clean room, very friendly staff and large double bed. Our room was even upgraded to a superior one. Totally worth its price, can just recommend.
Excellent hotel: very clean, very well managed. Rooms are small but very comfortable. The breakfast in 2 forms covering the whole morning is an excellent idea! The location is central, with many restaurants, shops attractions within 15 mins walk. There are also larger rooms also appropriate for a small meeting work. The management is very friendly and helpful.
We stayed here on our first few nights in Paris and found it a great location with super friendly staff and ultra comfy beds. From here we walked most days to a number of great spots in Paris and enjoyed the local food the quarter had to offer.
Nice place and nice staff. Clean and well located. The room was really cute and the bathroom too. I would only change the fact that the gel they give has to be used as champoo too. Even this, I think is perfect.
Hotel is ideally located. You can go to Sorbonne university or Notre Dame etc. by foot. Breakfast is good, though it might be a little expensive (16€). The rooms are quite small but very tidy and clean. When you are tall, the bed length might be a challenge. You have to sleep diagonally.
We really loved our staying in La Demeure hotel ! The location is very good, the metro station is close and there are a lot of shops around the hotel as well. There is also a Carrefour market and a Boulangerie a few steps away which is important if you don't want to pay extra for the hotel breakfast and a lot of restaurants and brasseries if you want to stay close by -the Korean restaurant right next to the hotel was AMAZING-. The room was very clean and though it is a standard small Parisian space, everything is very well thought out so you will not feel limited at all. The stuff was very friendly and ready to help and even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne for my husband's birthday! I only wish there was a small fridge in our room but it was not that important. I would stay again at this hotel and would also suggest it to anyone visiting Paris !
This hotel is a wee bit expensive but was absolutely worth it. Terrific rooms - Ideally positioned and the service was second to none. Great sleep and fantastic breakfast. The journey to & from Paris attractions was very easy via the Metro stations nearby.
The view from the 5th-floor rooms is fantastic. We have stayed in 504 and 505 previously and both can see the Eiffel Tower across the rooftops which is nice. Some rooms are very small, so if staying in a 'Classic' room then don't take too much with you! Lovely little breakfast room as well, with loads of restaurant choices all within a few minutes walk. You can also walk to Gare Austerlitz and the Natural History Museum and Gardens from here also.
The rooms are very complete. Unfortunately our room was very small, but everything you need is there. Location is okay. the possibility for parking is a big advantage. Price and quality are in balance.
The room we had was not equipped with shelves and circulating around the bed was almost impossible. Nothing fundamentally wrong with this hotel but, while hotels in Paris tend to have small rooms, I have in this instance reached a new level. The rest of the amenities are OK but I do not understand the star rating of the hotel where such micro rooms are offered. Had better Best Westerns and Best Western Plus with three stars. At breakfast, if you eat towards the end of the shift, the personnel starts already setting up the table for the next morning, in a very noisy fashion, and this spoils it all. Bacon and eggs present but cold. In a nutshell;: room size and equipment, breakfast quality and service standard are more like a good 2* hotel, and I don't mean that in a demeaning way, its just the way it is.
We had a very nice stay at La Demeure. The two of us spent 7 nights at the hotel. I loved the decor of the room, it had everything we needed including a safe and a little desk with a mirror which we used as a vanity to get ready. Situated in a quiet part of town, but under 5 a minute walk to many train lines which made it easy to explore all parts of the city.
The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, staff is attentive, polite, professional and willing to help at all times. They also have a mini gym with very little equipment but enough to do some exercise. Next to it is a sauna that nobody uses. The hotel is old so you can hear people going up and down the stairs so try to get a room on the top floor. Don't expect views though as there are none. The breakfast is actually great, nice variety of hot and cold food. Fruit, yogurt, coffee and teas are available. Good little gem!
We stayed for 2 nights. When we woke up we had lots of insect bites across our body. Nice hotel apart from that. Still waiting for complaint response after several weeks of submission. Not a great experience
The hotel was very standard in services. Sauna, rain shower and gym is a plus, but these facilities were small. The room was good, enough space for overnight. Service was very friendly. The location is excellent, a small 10-minute walk to different metro stations.
We liked everything in this hotel. The room was very comfortable. We were surprised that we could even see the Eiffel Tower out of our window! The breakfast room seemed not very big, but we had everything we wanted and we needed for breakfast - it was very good! The sauna was working all day, which also impressed us very much. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Also the lounge of the hotel was very beautiful and comfortable. We saw absolutely no disadvantages during our stay!
Everything was excellent, especially our family room and so comfy beds. Breakfasts were very delicious too, not soooo big selection, but the very high quality and taste. We can only recommend this hotel :).
I travelled with my teenage daughter and stayed for 4 nights in La Demeure. The hotel might just be the prettiest and most beautifully decorated we've ever been to! The hotel staff was very friendly, everything was clean and perfect. Two metro stops very near by just a few minutes from the hotel. Hoping to return one day to this lovely hotel!
Our visit to Paris was very nice! We took the Euro Star From London as we visited Family first before visiting Paris. The Hotel, tiny when compared to American hotels, but very nice. Coffee was great!
I visited Paris together with my daughter and had booked in another hotel for 3 nights. After 2 days with a very poor experience in the other hotel, we looked at options nearby and found this charming hotel just a 10 minutes walk from the other one. Paula in the reception was very helpful and gave us excellent service! We were upgraded to a very nice room, we felt really good taken care of and we are happy to recommend the hotel/room/breakfast/service to anyone. Thank you for a really nice stay.
We had two nights at the La Demeure at the end of our honeymoon, and it couldn't have been better. A wonderful hotel with great staff and clean, comfortable rooms (like most Paris hotels, they're not huge so we took the slightly larger option - turned out to be ideal). We were lucky to get a top floor room with a fine view of the Paris skyline. The breakfast buffet was extensive and high quality. A good positioning in Paris with easy access to two Metro lines - we never had to make more than one change of line while moving all over Paris. Highly recommended!
Nice place , location is ok , quiet , closest metro is 600 meters, so not very close Basic rooms are very small but the beds comfortable beds superior room is very nice Good breakfast Great view But expensive
Very pleasant hotel (clean and quiet), friendly staff, rooms renewed recently, Eiffel tower in direct view from room window (5th floor), very good breakfast, metro stations of 2 metro lines going to the center of Paris within walking distance of approx. 5 minutes, travel time of metro train to Louver museum approx.15 minutes
We were not told that there was going to be a parking fee. Upon check in the Host welcomes us with a spot in the hotels parking area. Which was thought to be complementary.... surprise! It wasn't! $$$$
Felt very welcome and accommodated by staff. Responded and delivered quickly on last minute requests. The room was comfortable with a great view over the city. Only downside at all was the wet floor after a shower. The free sauna downstairs was a nice added bonus. Would definitely stay again. Thank you to the staff.
It was lovely and wonderful!! We are really excited with staying at your hotel! The room was extremely charming and beautiful!!! The staff was very kind and help with everything!! Thank you so much!!!
I had a great time in Paris, made even more special by this fantastic hotel and great staff. It truly felt like like being at home with family and friends. The hotel has a boutique feel, very high quality and the shower was out of this world. A great place to relax after a busy day; feeling refreshed the next morning and ready to go again.
We stayed the week of August 12 and enjoyed our stay. We had a suite that fits a family of 4. The location is great - not in the centre, but very close to it. I liked that the hotel was off the beaten path, it was a quiet neighbourhood filled with more locals than tourists. Getting around was easy as we used the subway or the bus with our family. The only “complaint” I have is that housekeeping could have done a better job with the daily cleaning. They left our used coffee mugs in our room or didn't replace the coffee we used. They didn't vacuum daily either. Other than that, great location, beautiful building, enjoyable stay.
A beautiful hotel, with excellent service and rooms. Our room had a view of the Eiffel Tower, which made for a idealic picture. Set in the heart of the Latin quarter, surrounded by amazing bistros and bars. Definitely recommend.
Visited with family. Pro's: - location (close to the subway, large choice of restaurants in the vicinity) - comfortable beds (sofa bed for the kids could have been better) - good insulation - spacious (Paris standards) family room (suite 301) - well equipped room (dressing table, hairdryer, safe, blackout curtains) - little extra's: sweets for the children at the check-in desk, free coffee and tea in our room Cons: - breakfast (amenities) - overall customer orientedness and empathy. Service feels uninterested and impersonal. - check-in and check-out process: wrong information, no information continuity, no parking available at first although previously confirmed. In a 4-star hotel, this should be flawless, accurate and smooth. Same experience at checkout. - overall condition of the room (no 4-star standard of finish: condition of floors, stained carpets, walls in need of touch-up paint, loose electrical outlet in the bathroom,...) - no smart TV, no ability to connect with a smartphone or chromecast - lack of personalization during our stay
Stayed here for a girls trip. Very cute rooms, lovely and friendly staff. My room was upgraded to a superior room with a massive bed. The gym is the smallest gym but at least there is one and there is a nice steam room. Thank you for having us! We had the loveliest time!
The hotel was very nice and had a good location, not too far from some of the main tourist sites in Paris (pleasant 25 minute walk to Notre Dame). Small but very comfortable room and very friendly staff. Upon check-in, our room had a thoughtful gesture from the staff due to our honeymoon visit. Although no room mini bar, the hotel was very nice and had a fitness room and 24 hour lobby service with various drinks available. The express breakfast was great for a quick bite. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Staff were great, very helpful and friendly - Allowed us to check in early. The room was very nice with good views. Could do with a small refrigerator. A good selection shops are nearby. Taxis, buses and the no 7 Metro are nearby with easy access to the central area. I'll be booking with them again.
Good location with short walking distance to metro and the river Seine. Newly refurbished room in good quality. We stayed in Superior room that was larger than standard for the area. Would be happy to stay there again.
We stayed here for two nights and had a very positive experience. This hotel is a great value, well-located with good facilities. It's a 5 minute walk from the Gobelins metro station, 10-15 minute walk to the Ruse Mouffetard and Jardin de Luxembourg, and close to many excellent restaurants and cafes. The room was very attractive, but quite small. There was barely enough space to walk around the bed, and it's a miracle how a toilet, sink and shower could fit into a 4'x5' bathroom! That being said, we were surprised with a terrace that had lovely views over Blvd St Marcel and the city. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't try breakfast, but you can easily get an inexpensive and tasty breakfast at the boulangeries within a block or two. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay again!
Good Hotel, nice staff that were very helpful. The room was clean and looked newly renovated. AC was good. The only negative thing was that the room was small, but all the positive things made our stay wonderful anyway.
Loved it! The decor, the friendly and English-speaking staff, the Codage products in the bathrooms. The lovely details, the make-up mirror in the bathrooms. Wonderful beds and pillows, wonderful location and neighbourhood: it is a nice area, there is a really good bakery just across aswell as fruit and vegetable shop and supermarkets nearby. The Les Gobelins metro station nearby takes you to Galerie Lafayette in 20 min. and we walked to Montparnasse and everywhere. We are definitely coming back.
This hotel is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Paris. We got the junior suite and it was really big especially for a Paris hotel. Great location. The hotel was near a grocery store and the subway so it was very convenient for us. It was also near a lot of restaurants and Jardin des plantes is walking distance. I would stay here again!
房间不大但干净,交通位置便利的旅店。旁边有一家很好吃的中餐馆父母反映床垫舒服,我自己倒没什么感觉。WIFI快。The rooms in the hotel is not that big,but it is clean, quite and you have all the essential things you need. Convenient location to travel to most of Paris' attractions,by the way,the receptionist Fariba is a super helpful and caring lady!
I had stayed here for a work trip. I was very stressed and the hotel stay went out of there was to be friendly and helpful. During a time of stress I really appreciated there help. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Simply a beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris in a lovely quiet yet in a most convenient location. If one wants to experience the serenity in a beautiful room and location - choose this one. I had a most lovely room and bathroom that were spotless and modern with everything I needed. The lovely big French window, the voile curtains, the calming colours, the lovely framed pictures, mirrors and the most comfortable white bed with the calming runner made my stay the perfect one ever - I did not want to leave the hotel and just stay in the room. I sat next to the big French window and see the Parisienne lives go by! The staff (Fariba) was most welcoming. The location of the hotel was just perfect. Very easily accessible from the train stations and CDG by RER, metro, bus, and within 20 minutes walking distance to the Cathedral. The nearby St Marcel market (grocery shop) was lovely to visit and pick up food and just to see a lovely French grocery shop. The hotel area itself was very pleasing to walk around and to see the cafes, shops and patissiers. For me, this was the best hotel in Paris and I just can't wait to go back there again - would like to stay in my lovely room again.
Our stay here was perfect. The junior suite was a good size for 4. The beds where comfortable the room was clean. My only complaint is 2 small roles of toilet paper daily for 4 people was not enough. Location was ok not close to a lot of the monuments but we mastered the metro using google maps. The train system was easy once you got the hang of it. Hotel very close to train stations, supermarket and 2 bakery's. There were a few really good restaurants close by as well . All in all our stay in the hotel was very pleasant.
The structure is not very accessible. For example the room and the bathroom are too small. Furthermore It does not look like a four stars hotel. The money required are too much for the quality offered.
We really enjoyed this hotel because it was very quiet the entire time, and the cleanliness was outstanding. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast they offered was nice, although we chose local cafes most mornings. The rooms were reasonable sized, based on my past experience in Paris, although of course very small. Their best kept secret is the small spa in the basement which offers massages by Patricia. It's very convenient to walk to the metro, catch and Uber or even walk down to the Latin Quarter, the Seine and Notre Dame. Would highly recommend it.
My family and I stayed at this adorable hotel for 5 days. The hotel was charming with a modern yet traditional decor! We had a room on the 6th floor which offered a beautiful view of the Paris skyline! The bathrooms were great the AC was amazing! The staff were amazing. They took time speaking with us and giving us directions and advice on getting around Paris. Hotel is close to metro stations and adorable cafes.
The hotel was overpriced for what it was. Small hotel with just the bare minimum. The junior suite is fine but not great, it was lacking cleanliness during our stay. The hotel does not even have a restaurant which we found out much to our dismay when we reached at 10:30 Pm, and breakfast options are cold and not great.
Hotel was very nice and staff friendly. The location is OK but a little away from most things. We knew that when we booked so thats ok. Not much negative about the hotel except the coffee machine was dirty after Brewing 2 cups and the hotel breakfast was horrible. Cold eggs and sausage, corner store pastry... Not worth it for sure. Otherwise great room. Also the website is crap. If you change the check-in date it resets your check-out to the next day. We wanted 3 days but was not paying attention and because of this only stayed 1.
Excellent service. The staff was very friendly. Well connected to town by metro and very close to science campus of Sorbonne university (a ten min walk). Their standard of cleanliness is high. I would recommend this place to my friends.
A very clean and nice hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and had amazing views. All facilities necessary were present and the personnel was friendly. Also the location was good. Definitely a recommendation if you stay in Paris!
I have never stayed in this part of town so I wanted to be sure I stayed in a brand hotel. The attention to design and the execution was perfect. Everyone I interacted with were kind and generous. The location is central enough so that getting and from the hotel was easy.
It is a very comfortable place, with a privileged situation, near the public transport of infinity of services. Also, the staff is very attentive, the rooms comfortable and excellent value for money. It can be recommended without problems, taking into account the standards of Paris hotels in the area.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location and the rooms and the hotel were impecable. The beds were super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who ask me. Good price for what you get
Elegant hotel situated in a tree lined boulevard. Choice of 3 metro stations and bus to gare du Nord right outside the hotel. Very nice area with several boulangeries, brasseries and super markets nearby. Excellent neighbourhood restaurants near rue Mouffetard.
Helpful staff. A small but functional hotel. Brekfast room occassionally too crowded. Location good and nice surroundings. Really relaxing atmosphere, a good and valuable choice for tourist stay. Guess that the hotel is good choice also for business guests.
Our entire family stayed here (we used Six Rooms!) for a brief visit to the Paris area. We found it a pleasant walk to Notre Dame Cathedral (Three days after the Terrible Fire - Quelle tragédie. We also walked to the Louvre and from there took a boat ride to the Eiffel tower. Transportation was easily available for other sights and we recommend using it as driving in Paris was quite daunting - Parking was often difficult at the tourist destinations. Although the some of the rooms were tiny, We Highly recommend Best Western Plus La Demeure!
We stayed here for 3 days before our bike tour. They stored our bike cases while we were on tour. Everyone in the hotel was very helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel. The neighbor is safe and there are many close by restaurants. We especially liked Tesoro D'Italia, just one block away. There is also a Carrefour grocery close by.
A nice boutique hotel but that's all. We have booked a junior suit and the size of the room was adequate but..... no wardrobes!!!! You have to leave your clothes in the suitcases and good luck if you have more than two suitcases. The bathroom was great with a luxury feeling. The breakfast was defrosted croissant, defrosted crepes, defrosted bread, etc. You need to be lucky to find a table in breakfast room and after that you have to "hunt" the stuff to get a second plate or fork!!!
Very nice hotel and a very nice staff. Comfortable bed. Room is small but so well designed with shelves over the bed and over the sink, bedside table and bedside lighting, that it was actually more convenient than some bigger US hotel rooms. If you arrive before check-in they store your luggage in a private area and you can go sightsee or wait in their elegant lounge.
Whilst the rooms were pleasant they were very small. Reception staff were helpful and friendly but breakfast was chaotic and one one morning the small breakfast room was too full to accommodate us so we had to go out to a cafe instead.
We have stayed there for short breaks on a couple of occasions in the months of June & August. The hotel is in a great location in terms of walking distance to many Paris attractions & public transport, including Metro Stations.Although we never dined in the Hotel restaurant, there are many reasonably priced cafes & restaurants located in the neighbourhood. The rooms are small but are very comfortable and well furnished. On both visits we had a room with a small balcony with views over Bvd St Marcel & the city. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and will definitely stay there again.
Excellent location, mostly friendly staff with a nice room with all necessities. The receptionists are very knowledgable about Paris and could answer any questions we had. Only gripe was that the staff at breakfast seemed over stretched with dirty plates left and no offer of clean ones as we ate meaning we had pastries on plates we had used for egg and toast. We did ask for clean ones but these never arrived. Over all an enjoyable stay and we would definitely revisit.
The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff are very nice. The only negative is the size of the room and bathroom. The tiny room didn't bother me much for a short stay but the bathroom was TINY! I could barely move around in there and I am a fairly small person. It wasn't a big deal to me but it is something to consider if you are a larger person or just prefer more space.
I spent a week in Paris for work. The Hotel was very clean and the staff very nice and helpfull. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. The traffic Connection was escellent. Good Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. I highly recommend the Hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean, very comfortable bed and excellent shower. We would definitely stay here again on a visit to Paris. Easy access to the Metro and all the sights. The hotel is in an area was quiet and clean.
Hotel is lovely and staff were always polite and helpful. Cant wait to go back! Also when i arrived i was upgraded to a superior room which was a nice surprise! Next time i go to Paris i will definitely be staying here again.
Started out with the standard room but it was a little too tiny so we upgraded and got the double room with the bathtub. The tub was amazing, I was able to take a couples bubble bath and have a romantic experience! Also the staff was friendly. Rooms where clean. Does not have a refrigerator but that was not a show stopper. Location is great, there is a bus stop right on the corner, multiple stores and places to eat around. The metro is down the street but if you have your pass already just hop on the best. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again!
only 10 min by bus from Paris Gare de Lyon! The hotel is pretty and clean. The staff was friendly. The rooms are small! but absolutely fine for 2-3 nights. There are couple of restaurants and bakeries very close. The metro is in 4 min walking distance.
The breakfast was amazing, really good location, close to metro and easy to walk to restaurants nearby. The only thing was that the room was really small for 2 persons but it was still so fresh and clean and smelled really good! I highly recommend this hotel
Love the service , the room and the location, I do recomend it , my wife and I had a great experience , they have prive sauna that make our day. The service was really lovely and caring Five star to the hotel
The staff were friendly and professional. The location of hotel is great. They also have a gym for workout. The breakfast is extra but the express breakfast was only 7 euro. The room is very clean and well maintained. I stayed there for about a week and overall experience was great.
It was a nice stay at the Hotel La Demeure. The staff was very friendly and courteous (also for requests in the late evening). The hotel is centrally located and there are good restaurants nearby. I would book this hotel again.
We stayed 3 nights at La Demeure. Nice location, not too far from the main attractions in Paris. The room was newly renovated and at a reasonable size for beeing in Paris. Sleep quality was good. The breakfast on this hotell was very good with newly baked bread, homemade scrambled eggs, good selection of everything you could want. The personell kept filling up all the time and it was a delicate and clean dining room. The service at the hotell was also excellent. Would definately recommend this hotel within it's price range!
A room so small, that you have trouble going around the bed, a tiny bathroom but very well equipped. The sauna does not have soap to wash before entering, the bathrobes were not there, and no relaxation room with loungers. The lunch buffet is plentiful. The staff is not terribly efficient
We slept 2 nights here. Bedroom was extremely small, I couldn't move inside without hurting myself. Shower was not closing, couldn't put carpet on the floor otherwise you cannot open the shower. Difficulties to have constant warm water (we were 6th floor). The 2nd day we arrived late in the night and the card was not working, had to go down, no excuses were given. We asked for an additional cover as it was cold, they didn't care, didn't gave or bring the following day, even if they said yes we take care. The breakfast was also quite an adventure, we had to wait 25min as it was only a few tables, and not enough cups for everyone, so even when seated could have coffee. 20min later and 3 times asking still no cups. Eggs were green, never saw this, waiting for plates and 2 waiters were smoking outside... Service was a bad joke, slow, not caring for customers. I didn't feel being in an hotel. You killed the Best Western brand for me.
The hotel is recently renovated. Beautiful room I stayed in, Views were great. Bathroom too. Can only recommend it!Below has nothing to do with the Hotel: To trip Advisor. I don't think a review should be 200 characters. Please allow people who found the time to answer as short as they think it should be.
The hotel was easy to find (once you typed in the right address (my fault)) check-in went smooth, the staff was lovely and great at english. The room we got was very cozy, and nicely built, we really liked the fact that we had the toilet in one room and the shower in another. Only downside with that is that the sink was with the shower, but it was insignificant really. The bed and pillows were some one the best I've slept on, I wanted to bring them back to sweden with me! It was very close to the metro so it was easy to move around!
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The hotel only has about 40 rooms. The room was charmingly French in style. Staff were very helpful and polite. It is only a couple of of tube stops to Notre Dame. Local area ha plenty of good Bistros and reasonably priced restaurants. The room windows were double glazed so no noise from the road and it wa warm ( we stayed in December. Breakfast wa reasonably priced at €16 and a good selection of bread, cheese, ham, fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend this.
Small hotel well placed for a visit to Paris. The staff were very helpful and the hotel met the standards we expect from Best Western. The only downside was the city tax we were charged on check out - even though the city was on lockdown because of the protests - we were strongly advised to stay away from certain areas so felt that paying a tourist tax was an irony as we couldn't visit the tourist attractions!
I know, I know, a Best Western Hotel in Paris?! But I swear this is different. Housed in what looks like once was a residence, this little gem in the Latin Quarter, away from the center of the city but near metro and taxis, is far from my idea of a Best Western. There is a small elevator as well as stairs to get you to your room. Mine was absolutely lovely. Small but oh so French! See the picture below. The check in is in a room at the front, where the staff is nice and professional. There was a daily breakfast included, which consisted of crepes, croissants, chocolate bread (heaven) as well as eggs and cold cuts. Very nice, large meal.
Everything was going wrong upon our arrival at the hotel, elevator out of service, credit card machine not working so we had to pay with another card even though money had been blocked on my card. What amazed us the most was the manner in which Mirelle at the reception handled the situation and that of other guests. I have hardly seen someone so calm, professional, smiling and with lots of empathy when faced with such a difficult situation. Everyone was happy at the end and we even offered to help her carry our luggage up the stairs. The hotel is very clean and breakfast was great. Will definitely come back.
This is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at, with convenient access to central Paris, and reasonable rates. Excellent holiday in Paris, excellent hotel. Very friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed, great location. Would definitely recommend to others
This hotel is in a beautiful, historic building. You wouldn't even know it's a hotel at first glance. The room we stayed in was updated, good sized, with tasteful decor and a very nice modern bathroom. As an added plus, we had a view of the Eiffel Tower! It was a distant view, but it was very pretty at night. There was air conditioning which thankfully worked great as it was hot while we were there. A French balcony allows you to get some fresh air and a nice view. There is an elevator. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Lots of sidewalk cafes and small stores in easy walking distance. Also just a short walk to The Museum of Natural History which was excellent! I recommend!
We traveled with our two daughters and required special requests due to severe food allergies and asthma of our eldest daughter. The management was fantastic and arranged for us to store our food in the hotel fridge. The hotel is beautifully decorated, in a great location and the service of the staff was above and beyond. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!
Our stay was Simply magical. We had a lot of things going wrong during our trip but upon arrival at the hotel, Mireil was able to make us smile. She was Always smiling and will go the extra mile to help us whenever we needed help. The room was neat and all personnel were nice. We do recommend this hotel. They are lucky to have Mireil as part of their team.
My daughter and I have just spent four lovely days at this hotel. It is a bit away from the tourist trails but this really added to the charm . I can safely say that we have mastered the metro system now! It is so peaceful that you really will get a good nights sleep in beautifully comfortable beds . There are many restaurants nearby one of which ( Au Bon Coin) was simply perfect. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful at all times .
Highly recommended hotel for a relax stay very much near by from train station and several other tourist attraction in paris, Highly recommended, compare to all other hotel this gave one of the most best expereince with peace.
I usually don't write reviews but wanted to take the time for our stay here. We got the Jr. Suite. It was a really nice room and updated! We had our two boys so having them in the same room was nice. We had plenty of room. They had a sliding door between the boys bed and ours which was really nice. The beds were comfy. The shower was better than mine at home and they even had a nice blow-dryer to use. The staff was really friendly and willing to help anyway they could.
This is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at, with convenient access to central Paris, and reasonable rates. Rooms have been renovated and have chic/modern feel, but mixed in with elements of history such as a high ceiling. Comfortable beds, courteous staff. Air conditioning works extremely well. Lobby feels like a private seating area at a high end night club. Would definitely recommend to others.
We had a single night here after a long-haul flight and found it very clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent and the windows allowed opening for fresh air and then when closed completely shut out the road noise outside. For a Parsian room it was a great size, with a full sized bathroom and a lovely buffet breakfast the next day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we needed to stretch our legs it was a mere 20 minute walk to The Panthéon.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in a superior room. The hotel staff were really nice and helpful. We loved the room which was crisp and clean with a VERY comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were all recently renovated - spotlessly clean and stylishly done. There is a `front room' (downstairs) with a piano where one can relax after an active day. The hotel is about 18 mins walk from the Port Royal metro/RER station and the location is nice though not completely in the centre e.g. Notre Dame and Gare de Lyon are within walking distance (about 25/30 minutes walk). Lots of restaurants nearby and the location of the hotel itself is nice. We did experience one or two small issues e.g. due to some technical fault the wifi did not work the first day but came back on the next day. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Despite everything being really nice and lovely, we thought that the room was a bit pricey though especially on the Tuesday and Wednesday when we paid much more than what we paid on Monday (and Thursday) - prices varied quite a lot each day! (perhaps June is the most expensive month in Paris!) Overall will highly recommend this lovely, crisp and clean hotel!
La Demeure is located in the Gobelins area of central Paris, in a classic Haussmann style building. Inside it has been remodeled in an ultra modern, yet tasteful way, with stylish hues of gray and blue. Although the room was a tight squeeze, it enjoyed plenty of light from floor to ceiling windows with Juliette balconies. Comfy beds, crisp linens, plush towels pamper the guest. An in-room coffee maker was appreciated along with complimentary drinking water. The only sour note here was the apparently bounteous 16€ buffet breakfast included a lot of stale items.
We still have another 4 nights here and we think the hotel is just wonderful . It's in a great location and we can walk to Notre Dame in around 15 minutes . The staff are wonderful and they even booked our on off bus ticket and louvre fast past tickets . Merielle at reception suggested an upgrade and we just love our room - 503. It's just so beautiful with a balcony looking towards the Eiffel tower . If the rest of the stay is like this I will give it a zillion stars .
My family loved the hotel. We have a special needs son and had the suite - 2 bed rooms was ideal. The hotel was quite and clean. Easy walk to subway and wonderful place to eat around the hotel. The staff was so helpful! We needed to confirm our Normandy trip and so much easier when they helped confirm in French.
We stayed at the junior suite with 2 kids. The room was new, clean and quite big. Bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Staff was kind and very helpful. Great location. Quiet and relaxed. I highly recommend
The staff I dealt with were friendly, nice little hotel. WiFi was ok for social networks, couldn't stream. They had USB chargers, every hotel should have these! Good for sightseeing, but so is the majority of Paris
Great location , well placed for bus and metro. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Very clean and well appointed room with a lovely view, just a little small but I believe this is the norm for Paris.
We spent two days at the hotel La demeure and it was all perfect : the rooms were lovely, the hotel was very nice and well-situated, and the breakfast was simply delicious. The staff was also very helpful with getting around the city. A little extra : the owner offers a run in the city every Monday night, for those of you who travel with their running shoes and want a nice way to wander around unknown and pretty neighborhoods. I recommend it !
Overall a Nice experience, the hotel had a pretty design and rooms was nice and clean throughout our stay. The reception staff was polite and helpful.. only let down was the breakfast a little disappointing, everything seemed to be frozen or store bought.
We stayed here for 3 nights. On arrival we were upgraded, free of charge, to a superior double which was a lovely surprise! Room was a decent size (New York dimensions) but the bathroom was huge with a free standing bath! The room was also very well equipped with nespresso machine, kettle, hair dryer and complimentary shower gels, shampoo, etc. There is no mini bar but there is an honesty bar in reception with snacks, soft drinks, wine and champagne. I like gin and tonic but there were plenty of supermarkets and bars nearby so it wasn't a problem to venture out and buy elsewhere. Bed was super comfortable and there was no noise from outside so we were well rested. We were on 6th floor so had great views. The hotel is well situated on the edge of the Latin Quarter with good transport links. We ate breakfast at the hotel on our first morning, it was good value with plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful and professional. Would recommend this hotel ...
Stayed for one night only. I booked two rooms and got a great deal from a booking site. We arrived a little early (1pm maybe) but one of our rooms was ready. I had booked two standard double rooms with breakfast but they upgraded one to a superior room on the corner. This room was very lovely, stylish and spacious. The second standard double was also very nice but really quite small if that is an issue for you. Check in was good, charming staff. The lobby area is nice, airy and attractive. There is also a lovely lounge area. We paid for breakfast which was very pleasant although breakfast room is nothing special. Our only slight issue was that their breakfast list information was incorrect so I was told I had to pay for breakfast. I was able to sort this out but not totally relaxing when mix ups like this happen. Near the Metro. There is a supermarket pretty much next door and another around the corner. Quiet area near the lovely Luxembourg gardens. Would definitely stay again particularly in a superior room.
Hotel is well situated with convenient access to public transportation, reasonably good restaurants and fairly central. Modern amenities and a small-hotel feel makes this the perfect stay for a few days or weekend. Breakfast is well worth it, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend La Demeure!
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for our 25 year anniversary. It was in a fabulous and safe location in Paris. We caught many metros from the multiple stations handy to this hotel , including, Les Goblins, Gare d"Austerlitz, Censier Duebenton, and D'Italia. We ate breakfast twice and it was very good.We stayed on the 3rd floor and the view from the room was lovely. The air cond/heating was very good. There is many restaurants nearby and we walked to the Lourve and city a few times which was lovely. We felt very safe here. As we had been pick-pocketed in Mont Marte on a day trip we were glad to return and feel so safe at this property. The staff were very good and really friendly. For those westerners from places like the US and Australia would find the room very small. But we did expect that though! It was a really lovely little hotel and we would stay here again
Our trip to Best Western Plus La Demeure was beyond our expectations. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and gave us guides on things to do in Paris. It is located beside a bus stop and only a few minutes from the metro and train lines. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples who are looking for a quiet break away.
Just returned from a 4 day stay here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Meet and greet by staff from start to finish was excellent. The hotel has been carefully designed with lots of attention to detail. Loved the lobby furniture and smart entrance planting. Our standard room was small but had been carefully considered so that space was maximised. The Hotel is on the edge of the Latin qtr and easily accessible via metro or bus. Rue Moffetard and the Pantheon is a 10 min walk away with plenty of eateries and interest. You can walk to Notre Dam in 20 mind Vis this route. Would definitely recommend.
stayed in the hotel for 3 nights visiting Paris. the hotel was very nice and in a safe location. Staff were very welcoming and accommodated any requests we had during our stay. Bedroom was very modern and had a nice style, very big and comfortable bed. Breakfast was perfect to start your day!
Lovely hotel, huge bed with beautiful sheets and bath towels. Great luxury for the price and in a beautiful, safe part of the city. The staff were all helpful and always at hand for assistance and the room was exceptionally cleaned every day!
Stayed here for one night in January. Greeted by a very friendly receptionist who had informed us that our room had been upgraded. The corner room view was stunning and the natural light provided a beautiful atmosphere during the day. The shower deserves a special mention. Simple to operate with two powerful yet relaxing shower heads. A metro station is a short walk away as well as many food shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
Spent a long weekend in Paris in December, rooms were clean and modern matching the rest of the hotel, huge shower and comfortable beds. The breakfast was great with lots to offer and is perfect for setting you up for a day of adventure. Held our bags after we checked out as we had the rest of the day before our train left in the evening so we could explore more without hauling our bags everywhere.
Gorgeous, newly renovated room in a superb location in Paris. Very close to metros, and within walking distance to Notre Dame. Also close to restaurants, cafes and small supermarkets. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful also. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would have loved to stay longer!
We loved our 6 nights in this hotel. It was newly renovated tidy room in a great location with walking distance to Metro and local restaurants . The hotel staff were always willing to assist with information and breakfast included in our booking was pretty good I'd definitely stay again
We have 3 nights here, although room a bit small but great location! Walk to opposite there is a bus to the destination I wanted to go. There is supermarket nearby too! Staff very friendly and welcome us and helpful, I have booked my Disneyland ticket for last minutes, and staff willing to help us for printing the ticket! Definitely will recommend to others!
We had a standard room at this hotel which was quite small but had everything you would need. The room was very clean and the shower was the best I have ever used in a hotel room and we usually stay in 4 star hotels. We had a separate toilet but it did not have a wash hand basin which wasn't the best thing. The room had a large smart TV and a coffee machine. The breakfast was adequate. Within easy walking distance of 2 metro stations and buses run at front of hotel. Overall a great stay in a nice hotel
A small, quaint hotel with very small rooms but nicely appointed rooms. Breakfast buffet required resevations in a VERY small buffet area. We eren't informed that reservations were required and showed up for breakfast without a reservations. The understaffed, overworked employee was very indignant about our situation, but seated us. The rest of our stay we went to the pastry shop and then on to Starbucks, a 15 minute walk. WiFi was very spotty and unrealiable on the third floor but much better on the first floor and in the lobby.
Really enjoyed staying at the Demeure. It's in a brilliant location about 300m from Les Gobelins metro stop, and just over 1km away from Jardin des Plantes and the Catacombs in the opposite direction. The hotel is decorated very stylishly, and feels more like a boutique hotel than a best western! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are small yes, but have everything you could need and more. Ours had a SmartTV which my partner enjoyed connecting his phone to after dinner, a kettle and a nespresso coffee machine (although instructions on how to use this would not go amiss!). The rooms are really well decorated. The bathroom is tiny but the shower more than makes up for that, being a very large walk in two headed affair. Toiletries are provided, and the towels are perhaps the best I've ever used in a hotel. All in all a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to recommend - and we will be returning some day!
Beautiful, newly renovated boutique hotel. First time in Paris and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were a family of four and had the Jr. Suite. Queen bed and double couch bed - room was very clean, bathroom was great, everything about the stay was awesome. Beds were super soft and the staff was tremendously helpful in giving directions and recommendations for food. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We always stay near the Rue Mouffetard when in Paris. This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel but think we've now found our regular place to stay! Staff were really friendly. Not just one but all that we came across. The hotel has been done up in a lovely boutique style from reception through to the room. Bed was super comfy and shower was excellent. Love the nespresso machine in the room as well. Really couldn't fault it and look forward to the next visit.
Best Western in the USA is different than ones internationally, at least this one. This place was rated a 3 star hotel. But it should be a 4 star boutique hotel. It isn't a dumpy place like in the US. It is clean. Has a 50" LED Samsung TV. Toiletry. Breakfast is included if you're staying in the junior suite. Else, it's extra. The rooms are small but that's Paris. I'm just glad there was an elevator. Wi-Fi is available but it's very slow.
This is a very comfortable hotel with a great location near the Les Gobelins metro and Rue Mouffetard. Rooms were neat and clean. Bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast. And most importantly the staff was highly courteous and ever smiling!. We were family of three and we enjoyed every moment of our stay.
A great spot to do some walking to important sites My fave was jardin des plantes 5 mins walk Plenty of eateries around best being the 3 nearby bakeries Galleries Lafayette 20 min walk in a straight line The nice reception woman made me a cup of tea while I waited to board the bus outside to whisk me to Gare Montparnasse When I left the
Stayed at this delightful hotel for 2 nights, on arrival from Auckland to Bordeaux. Quaint and very comfy room, lovely breakfast, and superb Staff who were so helpful. We are so pleased that we are returning to stay here, on our return from Bordeaux.
Room was were small but well appointed and pretty quiet. Staff had pretty good English and were very friendly and helpful. Were happy to advise or help with anything required. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. The metro was just around the corner and so convenient to anywhere in the city. Walking distance to the Seine. Plenty of bars and cafes close by to choose from plus a supermarket.
Was only there for a night but had the most pleasant of times. They upgraded my room even though I was just one guy who did not need a bigger room but they did it. And the room was fantastic. After a 16 hour flight I was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as I checked in and had a quick shower. Had a great breakfast the next morning which I would highly recommend. And most importantly the staff were so good to me, I arrived a good 4 hours early but the checked me in without any problems, upgraded my room, helped me out by telling me about the nearby shops and bistros. Had a truly wonderful time.
We have just come home from a two night trip and we stayed in the 6th floor and the view off the Eiffel Tower was amazing. If u don't mind walking it's a beautiful walk to the main attractions, but there is the metro 5 mins away. The staff were super helpful from receptionist to the breakfast lady to the porter. Rooms are small but perfect for us. We will definitely return to Paris what a city and defiantly stay here. Remember too floor and street facing #mostromanticcityevet- photo is our view
Stayed here only one night, luckily. Room was tiny and had no wardrobe. No room for a second suitcase so we put that in the bathroom.Bed was comfortable. Had to walk up the stairs which were covered in plastic. Only a small breakfast room, breakfast was ok. Luckily the staff bought the suitcases to and from the room.
Hotel was under going renovations and the lift did not work so it was fun walk to the 5th floor. Should be finished by now? Staff took our suitcases up and down when needed which was good. The location made up for it though and my wife and I did need the exercise after doing a river cruise prior to our arrival in Paris. Close to metro station to get around. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good. Found a great restaurant down towards the metro at the first cross road.
When we arrived at the hotel, it was undergoing a refurbishment. There were paint sheets everywhere, lift out of order and a strong smell of paint. I wish we knew about this beforehand. However, the staff carried our luggage up to our room due to the lift being off and we stayed in a newly refurbished suite. Rooms were small but beds were comfortable. There wasn't a proper shower head in the shower and had to hold it over our head. Apart from that we liked the hotel! Good location with walking distance to Gare de Lyon and Notre Dame. Would stay again once the refurbishment has been completed (and would get a higher score!).
Had an amazing stay here. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was really good and the location was perfect with public transport right on the door step. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.
Thanks to al the staff for making us welcome. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Whist there is renovations in progress (we were advised in advance) they did not disrupt our stay. Any issues were attended to efficiently by the team. Great patisserie across the street. Chemist and super market within easy walk. Lil petite cafe on the corner allowed us to take our meals to our room when the kids were tired and bring the dishes back later. Metro is easy walk, some attractions take some time to get to. Notre dame is close, Eiffel tour takes time and a change of train, not hard if you plan. Likewise for Montmartre. Moffetard lane for the best markets and food. Would definitely stay again. Many thanks again.
This is a very comfortable hotel with a great location near the Les Gobelins metro and Rue Mouffetard. The rooms are small but well designed. The staff is also very helpful. They made several arrangements on our behalf during our stay.
If this hotel had not have been undergoing reconstruction and if the lift had have been working I would give this hotel a better rating, Luckily we were only on the second floor so negotiating the stairs was not too big a deal for us. We had a pleasant room. Nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. My main complaint was the very poor wifi. It was useless. Why offer paying guests wifi that can't even download a facebook page? The hotel is in a nice area. Many cafes and restaurants nearby to choose from. The metro is a short walk away and there is a supermarket just up the road. One nice touch is the selection of croissants and juice on offer in the front office. Staff are really nice and helpful.
If you have trouble with stairs due to any physical issues this maybe unsuitable to your needs. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow. Due to renovations on the lower floors , our room was on the 5 level. The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. There was a Nespresso machine in the room which was a nice touch and the small narrow balcony afforded a nice view of the distant Eiffel Tower. The bathroom was very cosy, allowing me to wash clothes in the hand basin while on the toilet. If you drop the soap in the shower , picking it up was a cross between yoga and gymnastics to retrieve it. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We didn't have breakfast included as there is a patisserie across the road that also does coffee , 2 minutes walk will get to many sidewalk cafes and restaurants as well as the metro. I wouldn't say it has wheelchair access though. On the up side, we found that by being on the 5 floor we got a balcony and having to climb the stairs allowed us that extra guilt free glass of wine after our meal.
This was a nice hotel in a nice area but is undergoing construction that was disruptive to our stay. We had a room on the 6th floor, and the elevator was not working. Luckily, the staff carried our luggage to our room, but it was a pain to have to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs. In addition, it was noisy early in the mornings once the workers began the construction work, and the hotel was also a mess due to the construction. In addition, no concessions were offered to us given the state of construction. Also, it was advertised that this hotel had air conditioning; however, it seemed like there was either no air conditioning or that the air conditioning didn't work. It was unbelievably hot when we were there, and we had to sleep with the window open. We were not notified of the construction until less than a week before our stay and had we known about the construction prior to booking and paying for the hotel, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere.
If you have ANY mobility problems avoid this place until August when the reno will presumably be complete. Painters and workmen everywhere. Paint smells and dust very bad for people with breathing problems. No lifts. Staff is very accommodating and if you get stuck here be sure to get a discount. Should be lovely upon completion. Hope they improve the breakfast along with the reno.
Recently stayed here on recommendation. Shame about the renovations and lift not working (had we known we would not have stayed here - even though reception had informed us that they had informed agents - not the case as far as our agent was concerned and that of other guests we spoke to at breakfast who were equally unhappy). We had to climb 6 flights of stairs to our room and avoid "construction zone" on way up and down - giving us bigger/better view rooms did not compensated for this. On two mornings I nearly walked into a ladder that was just outside my room - the ladder was being used to access to roof and the lift shaft. Luckily I was looking where I was going. The other issue was that I had received a fax confirming pickup time on our day of departure, which had come in 24 hours before but only received it when we were checking out and the driver appeared early (as he had stated in his fax) - all they had to do was to place the fax under my door when it arrived - I suspect the thought of having to walk up 6 flights of stairs to do this was a deterrent! If not for this, the hotel is in a good location though and the staff are friendly. I am sure once the upgrade/renovations are complete that it will be a beautiful place to stay. My heart goes out to the poor porter who had to carry heavy bags up and down the stairs - let's hope the lift is in working order soon.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during my business trip to Paris. The hotel is nice, looks newly built. Surprisingly got a Junior Suite which was really nice, no complains. Reception staff was very friendly and supportive. The only drawback was: the lift was not working but as i mentioned above the staff was very helpful, they helped me taking my luggage in my room which was at 6th floor. Apart from that it was very nice stay.
If you're planning on Paris visit and would like to soak in local/suburban experience this is the best deal. They're walking distance from Latin Quarters, Panthéon and Notre Dame de Paris. In addition, there're 4 metros in walking distance including Les Goblins, Campo Formio and St Marcel Mostafa and Lucie at the front office are excellent. We needed a phone charging cable in the evening, unfortunately, all shops were closed...Mostafa was kind enough to lend his personal cable to us. They also have great restaurants, Parisian bakery and wine store next door !!
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, but had to change my room in the middle of the stay. The reason was leaking WC and bath cabin (Room 303 I think). The second room (304) was smaller and had some other issues, but not that critical. Yeah, rooms are not very big, but comfortable enough for a short stay when you spend most of the time outside. Be aware of the noisy St Marcel street under your windows which can be very noisy because of traffic and emergency service alarms. The best part was probably the bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, the grapefruit juice was very delicious while coffee/tea could be better (but I have to admin that I very rarely see decent tea/coffee in buffet breakfast like this). The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, they tried to assist as much as then can. So, if they fix their bathrooms, the hotel can be recommended.
I was there last year with my boyfriend. They have very nice rooms equipped with everything you need. Customer service was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed. We will definitely go back there next time we visit Paris.
This was our first time coming to Paris. The hotel was really clean, customer service was amazing (they helped us with everything and even let us check in 2 hours earlier) and the metro station was a 5 min walk from the hotel. Room had enough space and was very cozy. Definitely recommend this hotel and would come back for sure!
