Best Western Hotel Le Crystal Dinard

This hotel was a delightful surprise, and the nicest hotel I stayed in on my trip to Brittany. It's a sprawling hotel right next to the beach, with special Beach access by its own elevator. One of the best parts about this room was the huge balcony that came attached to my room. It was a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and watch the colors of the sky. The hotel room itself was not huge but it was very clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed and everything I could need. There was plenty of light from large windows and the balcony. It was an extremely comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also large with lots of local specialty pastries to try. The staff were really helpful and there to answer any questions you have. I highly recommend this hotel!

The journey to the hotel went smoothly. The hotel has an underground car park only about 100 metres from the hotel, which was very spacious by French standards. Bravo. The architecture of the hotel itself is very reminiscent of the 80s and does not fit in at all with the surroundings. The reception at the hotel was dismissive and reserved. Our room turned out to be small and functional, but clean and with a great view of the bay. As our room was cold, we turned on the heating only to find that it had to be activated by reception, which was only done on request. However, the temperature was limited so that the room didn't get really warm. Obvious savings are being made here. The breakfast offer was very small and spartan, old baguette, old bread. In addition, the breakfast room lacked what the car park had in abundance: space. It was very cramped both at the small buffet and at the seats in the adjoining room.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room looked over the bay, and had a balcony with table, chairs and a sun lounger. The beds were very comfortable with really good quality bedlinen, very soft and smooth, and the housekeeping was excellent. Everything was very clean, and the linen changed regularly. We also had a bath, with shower above. So it was very comfortable. The location is excellent, convenient for walks, restaurants and shops and the staff were friendly. Considering there is no chef, breakfast offered a good choice. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights during July. The hotel is clean and not to far from the beach, in fact it is only a few metres away from the boundary of the hotel. It is well priced for what you get and the breakfast is pleasant enough.

False marketing. We were promised room with 12 m2 terrace and view of the ocean, but got a balcony and a view of the beach. The room was dirty, fridge full of water and smelling bad, leaking sink in kitchen, former guests had left razors and stuff in bathroom and no one had cleaned. Pillows missing, blankets smelling of wet dog and worst of all: not very friendly personnel when all this was raised at the reception. We don't recommend this hotel at all!
