"Zante park is a must visit"
jacsod, 25 Octobre 2024

Not been to zante in a while , this was my fist holiday since my husband passed away, and the zante park didn't disappoint, as soon as we got there we got upgraded to a private pool room, food was as you would expect in an all inclusive, rooms very clean with fresh towels daily, nothing was to much for the staff, always helpful, would definitely recommend for a visit. Will definitely try to return next year

"Great hotel in good location"
worrallbn, 04 Octobre 2024

Last day in this hotel, hotel is spotless throughout rooms cleaned daily. Restaurant is pleasant and staff very pleasant and hardworking, food is lovely breakfast was our favorite. Bar and reception staff very helpful and gave great customer service. Location is perfect quite area but 5 min walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, and only 10 minutes from the main strip. Definitely recommend it.

"First class adults only hotel!"
Marierosemcbride, 18 Septembre 2024

First visit to Greece and we stayed in the Park Hotel &Spa in Zante. Everything about our visit was first class. The hotel is spotless and our room was cleaned every day. The breakfast had something for everyone and the omelettes are definitely worth a try. Staff are friendly and helpful and speak very good English. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport with shops bars and restaurants a 10 minute stroll away. We will certainly stay here again.

"Not for families tetrible"
Gemma R, 30 Août 2024

Terrible hotel. Staff miserable bar never open drinks non alcoholic and alcoholic terrible. Complained a few times to the bar staff when it was opened and got a terrible response saying that they serve light only soda and different beers to the pool bar. Pool bar ok it's the only place open for drinks at night all plastic cups. No entertainment for families. Cleaners never actually cleaned glasses or removed dirty cups. Complained about the leaking air conditioning twice. Food ok worst all inclusive I have ever had same food every day no choice for kids. Snacks were just rolls or sandwiches same everyday. No a five star hotel more this a 2 plus. Had to eat out various times. Will not be returning.

"Catfished"
Dean D, 14 Août 2024

Don't be fooled by the pictures. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in!! Food is absolutely horrendous and limited. Definitely not worth the all inclusive would advise anyone staying here to go self catering. Drinks are cheap imitations. Rooms are ok but def not 5*. Beds are hard and litterally only a sheet to cover you in the night. Pool is small and hard to get any beds around it. Children came out with all yellow marks on bathers from it. Gym facilities shouldn't be called that. Most equipment broken and limited weights.

"Wonderful moments at Zante Park Resort & Spa"
Yuriy Y, 12 Août 2024

Rooms in the Zante Park are comfortable, cleaned everyday, swimming pools are clean & not overcrowded. Personel of the hotel is very friendly and helpful, especially I would like to mention one restaurant worker - Grace (Griselda). She's very helpful, always smiling, radiating with energy and hard working. When we met her and other workers of the hotel, we were sure, that we'll have a great time here. The food was great, personally I would wish to to see wider variety of fish/seafood dishes. The location is very good (approximately 300-400 m to the nearest sandy beach with exceptionally clean sea water. The airport is conveniently close to the hotel (about 5-6 km away). Good evening entertainment, which included beautiful, native Greek music & dances. In summary, I would, definitely, recommend this place for families with children.

"Terrible"
Sebastian K, 23 Juillet 2024

Hote over all it's okay how ever I can't say anything good about food, i survived a week stay on chips and pizza! Definitely not a 5 star wouldn't even give a hotel 3 stars more like 2 and half no Ala cart restaurants, food was disgusting lazy stuff in a restaurant always on their phones have a video to prove it ! Only nice person in a restaurant that worked their ass off was grace! We upgraded to swim up suite for additional 280€ which went to bad but the state of furniture was terrible some old furniture that was brown got painted white bathroom was disgusting 🤢 salt water in a shower and sink so couldn't even make a tea or coffe had to keep buying bottled water to have a tea or coffee also it says it's a beach 🏖️ hotel but it's no where near a beach I would say about 5-10 mins walk from a hotel if u considering staying in this hotel I wouldn't recommend specially for the money u pay!

"This is definitely not a 4-5 star , we had a very basic room , the bathroom I've focused on as it was extremely bad "
270adelef, 04 Janvier 2024

The Hotel was Unclean , we complained on the first day to the jet2 rep who was surprised of our photographs and we were offered another hotel at a higher cost of £500 more , we didn't except When we had already paid for this hotel of £1800 We were inundated with the director apologies and free bottle of wine when we left and his business card as we left for any further bookings, ( I don't think so ) we were sat on the balcony one evening and we got a knock at the door , it was the bar man saying the director wishes you a good evening and a free bottle of bubbly Would not recommend this hotel location was ok but not in the centre , it has put us off Zante We went on a trip off the beaten track , very rough area , rubbish, run down properties .

"Conference business stay"
Kelly_Tr_123456, 28 Octobre 2023

There are no words to express how warm and welcoming staff the hoteI has. They anticipate every need of yours and exceed expectations on every level. Housekeeping was meticulous. The conference service elevate the experience with their excellent service and attention to detail. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable at all levels. Don't forget to visit the extremely exceptional War Museum this hotel has on his property. Special thanks to the hotel manager Mr Adamopoulos and Mrs Kouroumalou who made our hotel experience unique! All in all it's the people that truly make this stay a 5 Star experience! I hope to see you again! Kelly Trichia

"Worst hotel ever DO NOT STAY HERE"
Michelle K, 07 Octobre 2023

Do not book this hotel it's a shambles. Me and my partner were due to stay at white hotel which is round the corner but they double booked so put us In this disgusting hotel for the night. Room had old and rusty furniture and bathroom was not fit for purpose. Staff were unwelcoming and unfriendly. Food and drinks were absolutely disgusting This is hotel is like a 1 star Do not believe the pics they have clearly been filtered. White olive hotel in laganas is nice. Consider booking this instead.

"Absolutely worst place I have stayed"
Michael S, 16 Septembre 2023

I returned from this Hotel yesterday having spent the last 2 weeks there. It is, to my mind, the worst hotel I have stayed in in over 50 years of foreign travel. I did reach out to holiday company after having been there for 1 week and the rep did arrange a meeting on site with the hotel manager ,George, who made all the right noises but fell short on delivery of promises. My main complaint was the dire standard of food. Breakfast was reasonable but as for lunch and dinner they were appalling. I survived on salads at lunch and ate out for 11 nights of the 14 I was there. I was given undercooked fish, chicken that was red in the middle and a hot dog was one selection for an evening meal which the manager was proud to say it was “American Night” He would I suppose have been equally proud of his “Chinese Night.” If so I can assume he has ever eaten Chinese food. It was unrecognisable by sight or taste. To add insult to injury on 2 of the nights I attempted dinner they had run out of bread rolls for the soup. When we had our meeting he appeared shocked that I should be dissatisfied with the food and told me I was the first person to complain. He obviously does not read his reviews as there are numerous on Tripadvisor with similar complaints. Holiday rep was great. I accept that there was very little she could do. She did arrange for beer and fruit to be sent to our room which is really not a great compromise as beer and fruit is free anyway, but her hands were tied. So too it seems were George's whose promise never came to fruition. A second concern is the fact that there is a pool there almost 3 metres deep. A sign says a lifeguard is on duty 10:00 -18:00. The lifeguard is Flori the barman. He is a fantastic member of staff, one of the few positives of the hotel, however there is no possible way that he can serve at the bar and monitor the swimming pool. Therefore if any children were to fall in they would be advised to do it when there is not a queue for cocktails. All in all this was a terrible stay.

"Shockingly poor!"
LordHaines, 09 Septembre 2023

A shockingly poor hotel, more like a bed and breakfast. Very poor facilities and dated. The food was shockingly poor, every meal was cold, despite bringing this to the duty manager's attention, nothing changed, after the second day for the rest of the week we had to eat out. The operations managers reply was, we are not forcing you to eat here! Would never return to this place!!

"GOURMET DINERS BEWARE"
Maggiej62, 06 Septembre 2023

My husband and myself stayed at this hotel when we were single 23 yrs ago. At that time the hotel was lovely but the food was at best described as basic. In fact it seemed to be a running joke with local restaurant owners that Zante park guests would rather eat out than eat in In 2023 we no longer had our daughter accompanying us, the Zante Park was advertised as having had a refurb so we thought we'd reminisce and give it a try. On arrival, the hotel were not expecting our arrival and had no room for us, they housed us in a sister hotel for the night in what can only be described as a cell at the Galaxy Hotel. The pictures resulted in an instant £150 refund from TUI. Our room at the Zante Park was subsequently upgraded. The hotel is clean, tidy and the pool is lovely, the staff are great. THE FOOD. Breakfast. The hot selection is luke warm, the sausages are cocktail hotdogs, the bacon is reconstituted, there is very little milk in the milk dispenser for cereals and on one occasion it was sour. Lunch. A selection of deep fried delicacies made from the leftovers of the night before, tinned vegetables and cold chips. I didn't do lunch after the first day. Evening meal. The grilled selection is usually burned or thoroughly dried out under the lights. Everything else is hardly warm and is best described as bland. The food here is truly awful - we ate out nearly every night, fortunately there are some really nice and reasonably priced restaurants down the road. This hotel does not live up to its star rating, I'd give it two at best. Best Western as an international chain you should be ashamed of the catering.

"Nice - but not 5 star!"
Rachael M, 02 Septembre 2023

Lovely hotel and a great location - but definitely NOT 5 star! On arrival, as a family of 5 we had 2 rooms - one for myself, my husband and 17 year old son, the other for my son and his fiancee. We were told we first had to pay a "room tax" of 4 euros per room per night which amounted to 112 euros for both rooms for the 2 week stay. Whilst this was not the hotels fault, this tax had not been made clear when the booking was made via TUI. Next, we had to pay a 50 euro refundable deposit per room which would be returned at the end of the holiday, so that was another 100 euros. We also had to pay 40 euros for the room safe, so we ended up having one between us and shared it. So basically that was over 250 euros gone before we had even stepped into our room! That is quite a lot of money if you were not aware and had not budgeted for it. As we were all inclusive, I was shocked at the number of things you actually had to pay for - I have not paid for a room safe for years!! The mini bar in the room was not free and all drinks had to be paid for after 11pm as all inclusive stopped! The hotel bar was not open for the first 3 nights, only the bar outside, which was crazy, considering it was a huge air conditioned space and it was the busiest time of the season. Food was OK - just OK. By the second week we were a bit fed up of it as it was the same thing most of the time and definitely not 5 star quality. The pools were lovely, but they constantly played loud repetative music which did get on our nerves and no one appeared to be listening to it anyway. Plus when the music was put on for the aqua-aerobics session, the other music wasn't turned off, so it was basically just "noise" rather than actual music! Rooms were nice and we had a lovely pool view and hotel is ideally positioned for the beach. All the staff were lovely and worked so hard. You also get pool towels and whilst these were meant to be changed every 3 days, I think ours were changed once - I just helped myself off the maids trolleys in the corridor! Not sure I would stay there again to be honest and should definitely not be rated 5 star, but we did have a lovely holiday.

"Not 5*"
Aneta K, 28 Août 2023

this hotel does not have such a high qualification. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very unpleasant receptionist. room old, worn out. all plugs enabled! which was later fixed. water from the air conditioner flowed into the room. Greek food ok. On departure we received a lunch box - two apples, water and a mini biscuit. horribly...

"Two week Greek getaway"
CDH1963, 27 Août 2023

Recently returned from our holiday at this hotel which had good and not so good points. We emailed the hotel in advance to ask for a quieter room as we read that you could get a room where to noise was loud. Pleasantly surprised to be given a room in the executive block just across the road and if you're lucky enough ( like we were) to get a room on the ground floor there is a swim up pool - great bonus. Before we went to the room had to pay city tax (that's fine) and a. 50 euro room deposit therefore over 100 euros before you get the keys. Also if you require a safe that's extra too. The room was spacious, big comfortable king size bed, sofa, kettle etc. terrace with table, chairs and sun beds. Good size bathroom but the water temperature was intermittent and water often came up the drain. You had to pay for everything in the fridge even though we were all inclusive. On this point the food was okay. Not five star. Plenty of it, but failed to replenish the main meal options after 8pm and everything was lukewarm. Good sized dining tables and well spaced apart. Also even though this is an all inclusive hotel you have to pay for drinks at the bar after 11pm. Top tip - take a refillable water. Excellent swimming pol but pool management was non existent and when there are a group of large males playing ball and drinking heavily - in the pool- where there are little children we felt it was dangerous.

"Excellent first trip to Greece "
Terry P, 13 Août 2023

First ever holiday to Greece and found Zante Sun Hotel on Jet2 site. What a first class stay it turned out to be. Hotel was absolutely clean and spotless with a very welcoming arrival at reception. The room was just perfect and the food quality, choice and service was excellent. Short walk to the village where you can find an assortment of tavernas and shops. Also Cameo Island is very close and easy to get to and if lucky, you may get to see turtles. All-in all, highly recommended.

"Lovely and complete resort"
229michelav, 06 Août 2023

Great quality-price. Our room had a huge balcony and pool view in the new building. The breakfast is huge and there's something for everyone (they also have lactose free and vegan milks). The pools are very nice and clean, the gym is great and well-equipped and they have a spa where you can get various treatments.

"Would Stay Again - Lovely"
GoPlaces644581, 19 Juillet 2023

We just got back from staying at this hotel. From our experience, we don't understand why some of the reviews are negative because we found the hotel to be clean and modern with helpful friendly staff. We went half board and found the food to be excellent and varied albeit the so called alcoholic shorts are a bit iffy. The room was cleaned each day with fresh bedding. We has a slight problem with the aircon but this sorted immediately with no fuss. The only down side, is that we paid for an upgraded room but got a standard one in front of the hotel. The hotel opposite played very loud nightclub music all day and into the early evening, which was annoying and other guests put towels on the sunbeds very early, so you do get a look in. The hotel management should stop this. Apart from that, we would definitely stay again.

"Not a 5 start hotel"
Anna C, 07 Juillet 2023

Cassidy Travels in Ireland sells this destination as a 5 star hotel ( I wonder if they ever visit these places before offering them to customers?). You will see the same on the hotel doors, but don't be fooled, it's far from that. It's an all inclusive hotel, the selection of food is not great, not for a 5 start hotel at least. They have 2 buildings, we were unlucky enough to be placed in the other building across the street with a view of other buildings. The room was very basic, old furniture. The beds were very uncomfortable, when asked for a mattress topper they looked at me as if I had 5 heads. I ended up getting loads of blankets. The sleeping experience could be compared to sleeping on the floor - definitely not a 5 star hotel. I'm not sure how the rooms were in the other building... The pool area is relatively small so you will have a problem getting a sun bed, especially in the middle of the season. I would definitely not return. The stay was not worth the 2k euro that I've paid for it.

"Not what we was expecting and didn't get what we paid for"
Katie M, 30 Juin 2023

We paid for an upgraded room but didn't even get one we just got a standard room, the bedding was dirty even when the cleaners had been in to change it we never had clean fresh sheets. Hotel is overpriced for what you actually get, bed is like sleeping on a brick and the wifi hardly works. Food has been interesting me and my friend have really struggled to have a decent meal inside the hotel. Just not what i was expecting at all especially after how much i paid. They don't even tell you what time you need to be out of your room they just expect you to know. I would not recommend this hotel

"Lovely Hotel"
rojanal2022, 16 Octobre 2022

I just wanted to say what a fantastic stay that I had here. The rooms were clean , the food in the restaurant excellent and the pool area was ideal, as was the location of the hotel. A big thank you to all of the staff especially George the Manager who it was a pleasure to meet. See you all again next year

"Amazing!!"
jadewilliams_xox, 14 Octobre 2022

We stayed for a short tip of 4 nights (5 Days), we honestly wished we'd booked for 7 as we loved every minute of it. Location was perfect for us, short walk to the beach and not far from the laganas strip (we walked there back and forth, taxi was also cheap) The food was outstanding, best we've ever had in an all inclusive hotel. Tasty, plenty of choice and always made sure they catered enough for everybody. snacks were available throughout the day which were also delicious Staff were friendly especially one barman in particular, Who went above and beyond, he even gave us loads of free drinks tokens to one of the bars on the strip. The holiday makers were mostly Europeans but that didn't seem to bother us I'm really missing the view from our balcony at night and drinking pina coladas all day in the pool. it's definitely not good bye, we hope to return again next year with the whole family xx

"An Oasis of calm in a very busy resort"
billhannis987, 10 Octobre 2022

We knew we were going to enjoy this hotel as soon as we arrived. Our Saga group were all greeted individually by the Manager as we alighted from our coach. He had ensured we were all in the annex across the road from the main hotel activities. The annex is any opulent block surrounded by a ‘swim up' pool. The hotel is immaculate with staff working constantly to keep the floors of in side and outside areas shining and dry. Our room was delightful, the staff, without exception, unfailingly pleasant , polite and helpful . The food , buffet style, was plentiful, varied and good quality. The ‘Jewel in the Crown' was the manager, George Adamopoulos. Without George my wife and I would have been in serious difficulties. My wife became ill with breathing problems on our 5th day, George called for an ambulance and within moments we had Paramedics in our room, they made an initial assessment and removed her by ambulance to a nearby clinic. She was quickly diagnosed with a serious lung infection and taken by ambulance to the Zante general Hospital A and E. There she as given Oxygen and Antibiotics and further examined .The language problems were immense but within an hour Gorge arrived and smoothed our way from then on. My wife was detained for 8 days and throughout that time George spoke with Doctors and Nurses and even arranged an interview with the Director of the Hospital. He ensured my wife received the best possible treatment. I was allocated a room at the hotel and visited the hospital regularly , often accompanied by George. When my wife was discharged he arranged for all necessary paperwork to be available. Following her discharge my wife rested at the the hotel until our return home . George even drove us to the Airport! I am sure we did not receive any special treatment from George, he considers his guests his responsibility and treats them accordingly. I was in the Hotel for 23 days and received first class service. Our Saga group had long since departed and without the Hotel we would have floundered. We we will long remember our stay at Zante park and the kindness we received.

"Disappointing, Boring, uncomfortable."
256garyk, 01 Octobre 2022

Room big but grubby, not 5 star like the hotel want you to believe and not 4 star like Tui would have you believe. Beds rock hard, tiny TV everything old and worn out. Sun loungers uncomfortable need replacing. Food ok but nothing exciting very bland . The spirits are disgusting, beer well it was cold. No entertainment, nothing going on, on an evening. Although we were all inclusive, we ate out most days, which wasn't cheap! We paid extra for swim up pool, but wasn't very private. My wife doesn't drink alcohol, so when I asked what none alcoholic drinks they had? I was told they didn't have any but could get some but would have to pay extra for that. This hotel is a Best Western hotel , I've no idea how Tui can say it's 4 Star. We arrived at 8.45 pm at reception and was told if you want to eat go now as it closes at 9 pm, then come check in after so we went straight to restaurant and immediately disappointed with what was on offer, but hoped it was just because it was closing. We checked in and went to room, I was so disappointed! If I could have turned around and got next flight home I would have. Tried breakfast and lunch next day , not a massive choice, and food was just ok. It was supposed to be a luxurious holiday and was far from it. Couldn't wait for it to be over. It also had a reputation in the area for poor food, When you told people where we were staying they'ed look at you like o my not there!

"Autumn Break"
Graham S, 20 Septembre 2022

Nearly a good break. The hotel isn't 5 or even 4 star. Facilities are good and couldn't really complain about our swim up room. Shame about the required 50E room deposit and 20E charge for the safe. Never had that before (but then the thoughtless Eastern European group arrived so it's understandable, if the hotel tolerate that kind of behaviour). However there are a number of issues regarding maintenance that need addressing if they're looking for the extra stars. Staff are great but a little stretched like most in hospitality. Food..... Not great, usually cold, unimaginative and way over salted. Three days in, the European neighbours arrived, I'm sure they thought they'd bought the hotel. Noise on adjacent balconies past midnight, despite requests for consideration. Walking across our private swim up deck and taking our chairs for their late night parties. Fortunately we only had to deal with their selfish and arrogant behaviour for three nights. The hotel management shut them down when asked, but why did we need to ask and why were they still there? Sorry but 2/3 stars only........needs to try harder

"EXCELLENT VACATION!THANK U MR GIORGIS ADAMOPOULOS &MRS KOUROUMALOU"
theodosiosb2022, 10 Septembre 2022

We had a fantastic time at the hotel … with my family summer 2022 ! The staff was so polite and friendly … and rooms were always clean and tidy ! The all inclusive food was a perfection combining local and international cuisine ! The room was large modern and the private pool exceptional ! Location very convenient and everything at walking distance ! We already booked for next year as it was one of the best holidays we had .. and very relaxing ! I believe that the hotel has a great leader and manager .. and that's why everything flows perfectly ! "Amazing"

Loved the hotel and pools were very nice. Reception staff were really nice and the owner/manager was very friendly. I never wanted to leave the hotel because I fell in love with the bartender. Will be returning for many reasons because it was overall my best holiday yet!!!!! <3

"A lovely hotel and great resort"
635siennap, 07 Août 2022

Issue with room (booked through tour operator) was sorted immediately by the very helpful reception staff. Our room was lovely with very comfortable beds and brilliant air con. Friendly and relaxed vibe throughout the hotel, pools and restaurant with bar staff serving drinks super quick. 5 min walk to the amazing beach, shops and restaurants. First time in Zakinthos and love it.

"Happy Holidays"

"Not 5 star more like 3 ⭐️ Or even 2 star"
Deemarie999, 02 Août 2022

Just returned home after a week here very disappointing ! When you look at the photos of this hotel it seems modern and it seems well equipped on the outside until you get there and observe the inside and it's staff . The hotel reception staff never smile in fact NONE of the staff at this hotel smile . No warm welcome at all . We were taken to room 358 with our cases and I was shocked how basic , dark and across the road we had to go outside away from the complex. To find our room and it was definitely nothing like the photos on Thomas Cook website . We had several issues I raised with reception and a list and report given to reception staff and nothing was done to solve our issues . A Manager called Josh even lied and informed Thomas Cook in London we had been upgraded to an executive suite - this did not happen . The shower trickled water , I have long hair so found it difficult to wash shampoo out . The shaver plug socket was detached from the wall totally unsafe in the bathroom . The lamp by side of bed wouldn't work . The cooling system or air conditioning box with a hose pipe coming out of it into a bottle started leaking on our balcony . There were blue pool towels being issued to everyone I asked on 3 separate occasions we didn't get any in 6 days . The restaurant is very basic certainly not 5 star food . If you like fish fingers for lunch and macaroni cheese for dinner then basic is what you will get . Upon arrival every time into the restaurant the dishes were empty where there was not enough food on many occasions . The All inclusive bar they close at 11pm and make you form a queue to get a drink as only bar person seems to be on it . There is a ping pong table for activities for kids that's it . No lifeguard present as stated on the signs . Signs saying please do not leave towels on the beds around the pool then no one listens and everyone is putting towels on the beds so you can't find a pool bed It really was a horrible vibe of a place with many Czech . Polish and German visitors no British sign there is not a good fun or welcoming atmosphere for brits . Total waste of money came home crying . Please see photos you will be very disappointed if you go here please saw your money abd really check out hotels before you go here .

"Decent pool area but that's about it"
ThomasK622, 01 Août 2022

We stayed here as a family for a week at the end of July. Rooms The room was average quality - old looking but mostly functional - except for a €20 price for using the room safe for a week. I've never had to pay for using an in-room safe before. The shower water pressure would drop from low to unusable during peak hours (before dinner), and we ended up showering in the gym showers in the basement to be able to was our girls long hair. Wi-Fi The in-room Wi-Fi would go from okay, with dropouts (that would interrupt streaming), during the day to pretty much unusable during the evening peak hours. Pools The pool area is quite nice and especially the deep pool (2.7m) is really good. It's warmer than the shallow one (maybe due to darker lining), and stays decently clean through the day. The shallow pool gets really dirty looking throughout the day and visibility under the water drops to 1 meter - probably due to the water to sunscreen ratio. I'd avoid this after early morning and use the deep one instead. Food The all inclusive buffet was poor. The variety from day to day was extremely limited and ate quality and preparation of the food was really sub-par. We ended up eating out 5 of the 6 dinners we had in the hotel. We had all breakfasts and most lunches there and that was more than enough. Area The hotel sits on a, for Laganas, decently quiet street. It's close to the beach and has a nice mom-n-pop run mini-mart across the road next to a decent restaurant. I would not visit this hotel again.

"Amazing vacation in Zante"
PpetPgri, 30 Juillet 2022

Excellent hotel with clean rooms, nice pools for adults and kids, yummy quality food for all tastes, walking distance to the beach, free parking and the most incredible staff. A big thanks to all, specially to the executive manager Mr. George Adamopoulos for the great hospitality. Hope to come back soon

"NO FEEDBACK…"
lucyczechrepublic, 27 Juillet 2022

I do not recommend this hotel at all. We should be here accommodated from 22.-29.7.2022 ( organized through the Czech travel company). At the airport delegate told us, that some british clients made a flood in the hotel and because of it they can not accommodate us in this hotel and we were split up and realocated to the different hotels. I tried to reach the receptionist of this hotel - she did not know anything about what happened. I tried to write e-mail - no feedback. When I reached the manager, she did not want to talk to me at all, she told me that I should talk with the travel agency…. NO SUPPORT, NO CLEAR FEEDBACK ABOUT WHAT TRULY HAPPENED IN YOUR HOTEL, NO PROFESIONALITY AT ALL!!!

"Zante Park Resort&Spa Laganas"
635cameliad, 14 Juillet 2022

Excelent hotel, professional services. Probably one of the best hotels in Laganas. Very clean, good meals, the staff are very professional. They do their job in a discret way. We had a very confortable holiday here. Distance to the beach is reasonable, not more than 4 min, the hotel is placed in a quiet area of Laganas.

"Not recommended"
lubnaa511, 11 Juillet 2022

We went to Zante park me and my friends (3 in total), we didnt get a warm welcome, the reception staff didn't give us a smile in the wholes week we were there The food is okay, however in breakfast there's no vegetables, only cucumbers and tomatoes. The rooms were okay, not fancy, but the cleanliness is not super, our hair was still in the room the whole week we were there. The swimming pool is nice, they have a bar in it that was nice. I don't recommend it at least for young people, especially due to the lack of the bad welcoming we got from the staff.

"Comfortable ,twenty minutes road walking from beach, excellent breakfast"
mfeakin, 09 Juillet 2022

A good sized room with balcony overlooking pools Comfortable bed with excellent room cleaning etc every day Adults only appreciated We would have very much liked a room key each The room has two hair dryers , iron and ironing board but no soap dish !! We used an up turned cup ! We also thought a hook or two for bathrobes would be a good idea The omelette girl ( Anastasia ) at breakfast is absolutely delightful. It is worth coming here just for her smile. Food excellent and very varied . Spacious dining room The peaches are lovely but as they are put out unripe it is a good idea to take one each day and leave in the sun for three days. They are then juicy and very enjoyable

"Fantastic hotel"
Z8473LEmateuszz, 17 Juin 2022

It was a very fantastic place, had some of the best rooms you could have stayed in as well as very friendly staff. Also the place was well kept as it was kept clean all the time and room service was done from time to time making sure that you have a comfortable stay and that you are satisfied with their services. They also had very good entertainment every evening. And also the chef did an amazing job serving such good food. I cordially greet the hotel manager, Mr. Georg.

"Decent resort 2022"
Paigenewbury, 15 Juin 2022

After having zante park selected as a last minute option for accommodation due to hotel cancellation I had a pleasant time in this resort. The rooms were of decent size and the pool area was more than adequate. The down fall to this hotel was unfortunately the food. There is not much variety on offer and the quality of the food is sub par. The location is a short 3 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes from the famous Laganas strip. The service and the staff were lovely.

"Everything was perfect! The best hotel in Laganas."
ingridpR3566PR, 15 Juin 2022

Staying in this hotel was absolutely perfect. Everything was great, food, swimming pools, bars and drinks :-D Love this place so much! Thank you so much for this amazing experience. It was a absolutely amazing.

"Beautiful place"
eleonora_pusceddu, 05 Juin 2022

The hotel is really beautiful and clean, staff is kind and take care of the guests, the owner George is a enjoyable person and it was a pleasure to stay here. We had some great days. We are vegans and in the buffet there were also some options for us

"Fabulous hotel"
Jayne056, 29 Mai 2022

Spent 10 nights at this fantastic hotel 13 - 23 May and enjoyed evert minute! The comfiest bed I have slept in when away from home. Excellent food, always a good variety - the beetroot, apple and walnut salad was delicious, also enjoyed the soups and the desserts were amazing. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful especially Florenc and Steve behind the bars giving advice on local restaurants, bars and excursions. A special mention to Chrisoula guest liason manager who made sure we were having a good time and had everything we needed. Will definitely visit again.

"Great Hotel"
59lorainem, 27 Mai 2022

We look forward to our visits every year, sometimes twice a year. This year back in August. For so many years we have been staying. Always a relaxing special time. All staff are very friendly, and we have got to know them all. We have now met the new General Manager George who was also very helpful.. The Hotel is very clean and fresh, especially our rooms.

"Another Great Experience"
PeterCroy, 25 Mai 2022

Our 22nd year for my wife and myself staying at Zante Park from the 13th to 22nd May 2022. As usual a great hotel to stay at, just a very pleasurable experience. The room and associated amenities were excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful especially Nicoletta and George the new General Manager who made our stay even better. Although only B&B the food was good and varied. Looking forward to our next visit which cannot come soon enough.

"Be wary"
hannahw59, 23 Mai 2022

Overall we had a fantastic holiday in Laganas but this wasn't due to the hotel. Check in - the reception staff were generally quite rude and after a long journey made no effort to make us feel welcome. Once we got to our room we were surprised to find no free bottled water, only water in the mini fridge which is an extra charge. Room - the room decor is very dated but the bed was comfy and the balcony was ok. Bathroom - the bathroom was more updated in comparison but the shower lacked any power and was either freezing cold or scolding hot. Food - all of the food was left in the open to get cold and there was a lack of variety. However, the deserts were good and the staff were friendly. Outside area - this was by far the best part of the hotel. Amazing large and deep swimming pool along with a jacuzzi and a swim up bar. Also it was nice that the pool area can't be seen by people walking past so it gave a sense of privacy. By the end of the holiday it was hard to get a sun bed despite still being early in the season. We still managed to have a lovely holiday as the hotel is really close to the beach but just be wary that the hotel has a few issues and is definitely not a 4/5 star.

"Great Hotel for its size"
MrSheen59, 05 Novembre 2021

Really good experience with this hotel.. The Hotel was really clean with the room we had being a very good size with a huge bed & a spare single bed, Food decent & Hot, Pool was really good. Staff were friendly and always there to help. Masks had to be worn inside with a polite reminder if you forgot. Had a medical emergency when my partner almost cut the end of her finger off...The 3 Female staff in Reception & Office i cannot thank enough for all they did for us on Tuesday Oct 12th 2021 They were very calm and quick to get us to the medical centre. And reception also tried to help as we were unable to get through to our insurance. We were taken to the medical centre very quickly and continued care until we left even taking us to the airport. I think Jet2's star rating for the hotel is fair.

"Would I recommend this hotel? So far no I wouldn't"
christwirler, 17 Octobre 2021

The resort looks very pretty online but that is it's best feature. We are here now and my findings so far, The private pool room is pleasant enough, However it's quite dull and we can't have both bedside lights on together, Very strange indeed, The room was supposed to have a mini bar what we got was an empty fridge and the staff advised this was due to covid? They also advised the minibar was chargeable. I was advised to buy my own drinks for the fridge. We had to pay €20 for the safe key for 1 week. Never in my life have I paid for a safe key on an All inclusive holiday. Now the food and drinks, Food is very basic, not the hottest and left in open ceramic dishes and the flys are constantly landing on it. The drinks are not much better very odd unbranded drinks, The orange juice is cordial not fresh or concentrated. The only bar open is the pool bar not great when it's raining. I believe First Choice misrepresented the hotel claiming the restaurant is like the ritz? Also selling this as summer sun saying bars and restaurants close by, The whole resort closed down for the winter. It's like a ghost town, Can't believe I paid £2000 for a week. The food and drink are what makes a holiday we got given no info on arrival about bar/restaurant opening times. It's a 3 star at best.

"not worth their 5 stars!!!!!!"
ionelam860, 09 Septembre 2021

the hotel is acceptable, like 3 stars..... but the food is horrible, worst quality, not fresh, always cold; the drinks are tasting rubbish. the staff very grumpy, rude, unhelpful DO NOT GO THERE, PLASE!

"Awful Food and Service"
Chris C, 23 Septembre 2020

Arrived 17th September 2020, the night a horrific storm hit the island causing substantial damage to parts of the hotel. Upon arrival the hotel appears very presentable with impressive entrance and outdoor pool areas, although bars were all closed due to Covid 19 restrictions. Room was impressive although very dated, bathroom facilities were great however the frosted glass door was strange and unable to be locked. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the mini bar was empty despite there being a price list for items which should have been in there. As mentioned above the night we arrived a storm hit the island – our room was located adjacent to the hotel restaurant which was hit the hardest by the storm causing a very sleepless night due to the crashing, banging and smashing of the building being torn apart, I understand that weather cannot be controlled however it seemed that no precautions were put in place to minimize damage and noise caused by the storm. Food served in the restaurant during Breakfast, lunch and dinner was very limited in choice and all “hot” food was cold, no organisation as to seating guests so it was a case of walk in and find yourself a table or eat standing up. Staff were unhelpful and reception extremely rude. Would not revisit nor recommend to anybody.

"Below Average"
Coolguy91, 22 Septembre 2020

I stayed in Zante Park September 2020. on appearance the hotel looks nice with a large reception and lobby. Our room was large with plenty of storage and a fairly modern bathroom (including bathtub) and Private pool. The beds were very comfortable and excellent sleep. The rooms decor was dated with dark wood everywhere. The restaurant dinning area was small and the food luke warm to cold when leaving i had a small bill to pay but was unable to pay by debit card as it was cash only - This is difficult to understand how/why a large hotel would deal with cash only!? what stood out the most during my visit was the rude reception staff and lack off customer services. if you want are looking for someone to eye roll at you or huff and puff Zante Park resort is your first choice. i would not recommend and would not stay again.

"Good hotel, perfect location"
linak450, 01 Septembre 2020

Having in mind the circumstances of covid-19 enviroment, Zante Park is doing quite well. Yes, there is no more self-service (the personnel serves you one by one in the restaurant) and sometimes there is some que to get some food or drinks, and yes, the selection of local drinks is not very sophisticated, and sure, the majority of the guests are from Poland. But the location of hotel is great-very close to at least 3 supermarkets with decent choice if the wine, beer and cider, the beach is 3 minutes away. The choice if the food was maybe not usual 5*-choice, but it was fresh and we never stayed hungry. The noise isolation in the room was quite good, at midnight all bars and clubs had to close anyway. We never stayed by the pool, where it was quite crowded and very hot, but went to the beach instead. The Laganas beach is perfect-clean, sandy, very suitable for not swimming people, since you have to walk at least 100-200 m to get a deeper water. We usually took the sunbeds+umbrella in Caretta caretta restaurant (7 Eur for the whole day, 2 sunbeds+umbrella), which had 2 showers and WC, and quite decent bar+snacks. At the close proximity there are many more beach restaurants sometimes with also cheaper sunbeds (5-6 Eur), but the best coctails were at Hamsa, approx.1 km beach walk. At the beach there were few chinese women walking and offering the massage. I took few from Lin (back massage, 25 Eur for 25 mins), it was really good. Overall, it's been good holidays and decent hotel.

"Amazing!!"
kyriakosbab, 14 Août 2020

We had an amazing time! The hotel handled the covid-19 situation very nicely. All the precausions were met without negatively affecting our experience. We felt safe and welcome and couldn't have asked for better accomodation.

"BEWARE!!!!"
E7061XYmartint, 02 Août 2020

BEWARE!!!! Definitely not a 5 star resort....very poor management, we have been staying in many different holiday destinations in various hotels, but this one is definitely the worst of all of them. Rooms average, pools area nice but very basic. Food completely tasteless and not available at most of the time, lack of any entertainment. In my subjective opinion, maybe 3 star rating would be more appropriate and reflected in price maybe would be OK. Management does not provide regular cleaning services, water in the rooms or coffee in the only available bar. After paying £3k for three of us, we are being asked to pay extra for "the good coffee" - the good coffee was "Lillies" normally available at Tesco. What is then the "normal coffee" offered to all guests paying on average around £300 per night for family of three? WHAT A JOKE!!!! We have met a British couple who ended up camping for almost entire day in the restaurant as there was not enough sunbeds available. The management's explanation was that the due to the Covid the had to reduce the number of the sunbeds to 65%, the hotel is in fact booked up up to 98% of the normal capacity. Our travel agents organised our flight at 2:30 am, we have arrived around 6 am and were informed that rooms will be available around 3-4 pm - what's the point??? Most of our group ended up waiting with their luggage in the stuffy lobby with no air-con, no water was offered to anybody. Long queues for the meals. Very disappointing experience

"With last minute discount it was pretty good "
Anna K, 15 Octobre 2019

Long story short: as a last minute trip with big discount it was good, but if we'd pay full price as its visible right now for May we'd be very disappointed. We were based not in the main buildng but in one across the street and for sure that wasn't 5 star accommodation. It was slightly dirty after whole season (cleaning ladies could improve that part) and for sure bathroom saw better times. Fortunately for us, the hotel was almost empty, as our group was the last one for the season, but I can imagine that with full house, it might be pretty loud as we were able to hear our neighbours through walls. We were all in, and for us food was very tasty and diverse, with many different options. It's not really a minus, but if e.g. you'll go for whole day trip they are not prepering any lunch boxes. Drink bars were also serving pretty decent drinks. Pool area is very nice as well. Two pools to play, one with really deep water (around 2,5m if I remember correctly) so if you want to swim it's perfect.

"very good"
george9987, 26 Septembre 2019

Its a good hotel value for money, away from the main street a fact that i think is good cause there is not a lot of noise. The rooms are clean it has parking for cars in case you rent a car or a motorbike

"Thank you"
2-northern-travelers, 24 Septembre 2019

It was a great pleasure to stay here. Staff, cleanliness was always brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful stay Negatives if I have any please don't use hot dog sausages for breakfast Don't drink out of the fridge in the room you might be all inclusive but it stops when you get into the room. Would I return yes yes I would

"4 night stay"
warwickshiremusic, 31 Août 2019

Just returned from a 4 night stay All Inclusive with my family. Children aged 9 and 6 years old. It was the kids first sun holiday we normally go skiing. I booked this holiday a week before traveling and after reading some of the reviews I really had my fingers crossed it was what it said on the tin, as they say! I can confidently say we had a brilliant time. All the staff were helpful and smiley. Even the maids that didn't speak English that I met gave you a smile. All the hotel areas were clean and tidy. Our room was cleaned daily. The kids loved playing in the pools. Us parents enjoyed sitting at the swim up bar having a drink watching the kids ha ha. The food was good but could have had a little more variety if I had to pick a fault. But to be honest we all ate like kings and queens and never felt hungry. My two enjoyed having the independents of getting up and serving themselves. Never had a problem with getting a table or having to que for food. A little more entertainment in the day and night would be lovely. But I knew what we were getting so I wasn't disappointed. To sum it up it was a very successful holiday for the family and we really enjoyed the family time together in a lovely hotel. I found it helpful to know before arriving that I would be asked for a 50 euro refundable deposit on arrival, 12euro for the room safe and I think 12euro for the local tax.

"Loved every second!"
Gemkat82, 24 Août 2019

Have just got back from a 7 night holiday at zante park with my husband & children & I cannot fault it! Such a wonderful holiday. After reading a few reviews about reception staff being rude & food being awful I was a little worried, however I shouldn't have been! The staff were helpful & welcoming. We stayed in a beautiful family room with our own private swim up pool which was an added bonus. The whole hotel was absolutely spotless & tidy. Beds were comfy & aircon worked well. The food was tasty & typical of all inclusive. Different choice of food every night, not much choice for fussy kids but there were chips & icecream! The pools are great. The swim up bar is very popular & the guys work so hard from morning to night! We never had a problem getting sun beds around the pool. The only thing I would say could be improved is some evening entertainment, but it would not stop me from returning here! We just popped to a local bar some evenings, only €5 for a cocktail so no problem. We never heard any loud party goers as it's a 10 min walk to the strip. It was our first time in zakynthos & we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be returning! Thank you zante park for a beautiful holiday!

"OK but not great especially for a Best Western"
560mw1, 21 Août 2019

Stayed at the hotel for 10 nights all inclusive. At check in the room was not ready so we had to change into our pool wear in the luggage room, and during Check in had to pay 110 Euro which is crazy as they demand a deposit, tax for your stay and charge for the safety deposit box. (This is key operated so something else to lose I was not impressed and expected a higher standard). I don't want to be too harsh.... but if you are expecting the standards of a Best Western in main land Europe then this is not. However it was great to see that the Pool towels are included there are plenty of sunbeds although you will have to get up early to secure and the guys behind the pool bar are great and keep the pool area very clean and are great to chat with. A down side to this hotel is although there are some attentive staff to the cats who look after as best they can out of their own pocket it was a little unethical to see the hotel not supporting this is starting a charity as many other Greek hotel to cater for their care, Many of the Greek islands have this issues but also have taken good positive steps to animal welfare. I did not receive my BW rewards or have this acknowledged which I will seek answers from BW or an upgrade or anything- i have quite a high rewards tier. The local alcohol is not local it's probably just sourced on the island, it's not great but they do tell you that you won't get what your used too. The mini bar another annoyance, most AI hotel's- this is included, but not here, and they will charge you if you want to use as a fridge. We had a problem with our fridge that was never repaired as it was really noisy. The worst bit-Beds, don't get me wrong they clean the rooms and all the sheets etc. are clean and everything as expected, but the bed frames have seen better days and the mattresses are rock hard. Please also note the hotel is split with a main road to one side, there is an annex on the other side of the road, we preferred being there however both sides of the hotel suffer with noise but this is a semi lively area, but you will hear any doors opened or closed in the complex at any time of day or night. Drinking water is cheaply bought from the shop across the road. The food is ok but the chef could interact with guests and tailor his menu's to suit, he spent enough time walking between the reception and kitchen, we did really like how aspects of zanthian dishes were added and that children are catered for, but the choice is extremely limited, and more variety could be introduced. Having said this on a couple of occasions we had to eat out as they had run out of the most popular dishes that evening which was frustrating. An honest review.

"Wonderful stay - very clean, friendly staff and a quiet hofel"
Magicsparkles84, 16 Août 2019

This hotel was great!! The staff were absolutely brilliant from the reception to bar staff. They couldn't do enough for you. All the rooms, communal areas, pools and restaurant areas were all spotlessly clean. We were over the moon to find both our hotel rooms next to each other being a larger group of 3 adults and 4 children AND to discover we had the rooms with their own pool access between only around 6-7 rooms! Made our holiday!! The all inclusive food was a smaller choice than other hotels I've stayed in but equally had a good few choices at every meal and as long as you sorted your drinks/cutlery before you help yourself the food was a decent temperate! It will cool very quickly in the air con or sat outside in the outside dining area. The bonus was there were snacks of sandwiches, mini pastries, cakes and cookies and plenty of ice cream for the kids to help themselves all day of they wanted! There was also fish dinners/spinach pastry rolls and chips in the afternoons. On one evening there was a Greek bbq type night outside too. There was a tiny bit of entertainment - don't waste time with the yoga, we left 3/4 of the way through as it pretty much consisted of lying on the floor and doing only breathing exercises 10 mins in for the remainder of the 20 mins we were there. It was definitely not a wake up yoga session! The same lady did Aqua aerobics too which were possibly the worst I've ever experienced! A few evenings there was a bit of music. It was never really loud and lasted for about an hour. Everything is quiet by 2230hrs and the all inclusive bar ends at 2300hrs. Some Greek dancers also came on one night which the kids enjoyed. The hotel is only a few mins walk to the beach with plenty of family friendly bars and shops a stroll away. The main Laganas strip isn't far if that's your thing however it was geared to 18-30 type holidaymakers but fortunately this hotels isn't close enough to become an issue for a quiet/family break. Good value for money and a lovely holiday for the whole family. Photos are the main pool and some of the private pool to some of the rooms Also images of the beach at the end Of the road from the hotel

"Excellent Hotel"
Carl C, 09 Août 2019

Just returned from a week in Zante park as a group of 9( 2 families). Greeted by.very friendly staff and first impressions where very clean and professional. We where allocated the bottom floor rooms in the apartments across the road. At first we thought this seemed odd... To be then delighted with the size of the rooms, cleanliness and the amazing pool which runs round the balcony's. Rooms where huge with walk in showers and very well maintained with topping everything up. We had s beer fridge too which was stocked but didn't use it. Pool area is brilliant... We had 3 teens ... A 4 year old and a 9 year old who all loved the pools. The green is more for smaller kids as it's shallow .. and has an amazing swim up bar. The blue is very deep. Very clean throughout the hotel . The food was very good. Different theme every night... Especially enjoyed the Greek cookout night. Very hard to give any criticism but the only small things would be * Let guests be more clear on the a la carte restaurant and its location. We missed booking this as you have to book 24hrs hours in advance * Entertainment... Maybe some nights have some acts or entertainment aimed at kids? There where lots of families staying during our trip and it seemed some where looking for more for kids at night after the food Overall amazing place..would definitely stay here again ticks all boxes .. and if you can get the swim up balcony rooms then it gives it the extra special feel.

"Fab hotel!! "
trace1000, 04 Août 2019

Stayed in this hotel for a week with my husband and two daughters 15 and 12 years. Reception staff were lovely and helpful getting us checked in. There was a €50 refundable deposit to pay and €21 tourist tax. The safety deposit box was €20 non refundable. George was lovely taking us to our room which was located in the annex building across the road. We stayed in a superior suite which was really big, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean like the rest of the hotel. There was a mini bar which stocked alcohol, water and snacks but there were chargeable. There was also complementary robes, slippers, toiletries ie toothbrush's, tooth paste, shower gel, moisturiser and also towels for the sun loungers around the pool. The food in the restaurant was lovely. Not a massive selection but there was always something nice to eat. There was a lady that made fresh pasta dishes every meal time which was nice. Breakfasts were also good. We weren't too fussed about cooked breakfasts they were very nice though. there was a snack bar on the ground floor of the annex building that we could get fresh pastries, cereal and drinks which was handy. The snack bar by the pool was brilliant. Always a good selection of sandwiches, chips, mini pasties, cookies, cake and ice cream. All self serve which was a big hit with my daughters. All the staff were really nice and friendly. Fiori and Stathis were brilliant behind the pool bar. The all inclusive cocktails were a very nice touch. All in all brilliant hotel and would definitely return.

"Great choice with children"
krisztbiro, 15 Juillet 2019

Nice hotel, kind staff, super service, great meals. 3 swimming pools, excellent all-inclusive package. Pool bar from 09:00 to 23:00 with super cocktails, snack bar from 11:00 to 18:00 with a variety of sandwiches, cookies, ice cream, and many refreshers. Perfect location in Laganas, ~ 4 km from the airport, near to the beach. A lot of restaurants, shops, bars around the hotel. During the night there are parties around the hotel, but fortunately the windows had a very good sound-proofing. :) Pool bar staff were super and very kind, we travelled with 3 children, they ordered to themselves after the first day. We travelled via travelling agency, and we were able to use the services of Hotel Galaxy also (swimming pool, bar, snack bar, breakfast, lunch, diner), which is located next to the beach.

"Nice hotel!"
ReLa86, 14 Juillet 2019

This hotel was very nice for Greece. Rooms are very nice and big. The cleanless is impeccable. Food was not the best , but for sure you could choose something to eat. Also, the staff very friendly and carefully.

"Not a 3 star but not a 4 star either"
Weelea, 01 Juillet 2019

On arrival at this hotel the manager/receptionist didn't interact with us very well. He had us fill out forms that in my opinion were pointless. Why does a hotel need my address, place of work etc? Once this was completed we got our room key (1 between 3 of us). My friend commented about being hungry and said she hoped lunch was still on. This didn't remind him to tell us what time or even where we went for our meals never mind telling us about the a la carte restaurant that apparently is in a different hotel. He did show us up to our room in a small elevator. Too small for 4 people and 3 suitcases. I was basically pinned against the wall. Not ideal but hey ho, at least he made an effort there. The pool bar staff were fantastic. Really can't say anything bad about either of them. By day 2 or 3 they already knew our order without asking us, not sure what that says about us lol. The bedrooms have thin walls so can hear pretty much everything. Our Aircon didn't always work, the shower was kept on cold as any higher and we would go between getting burnt or frozen. We opted to stay frozen on its own. The rooms have pool towels available for use too. Keep an eye on the mini bar, luckily we noticed at the start of the week that something was opened as they tried to charge us for it, possibly an easy mistake. There's not a great deal of choice for food however there is always something to eat. The ice cream was amazing by the way. I can't really comment about much more except saying I miss the pool bar boys, they really were lovely. One even sang happy birthday to my friend on facetime who was back at home

"2nd Visit - food disappointing"
lstringer2017, 30 Mai 2019

We visited this hotel last May and were so impressed we decided to return for my birthday. The good - on arrival we found all our group of 12 had been upgraded to swim rooms which was brilliant. Lovely clean rooms and hotel and overall a great hotel in a good location. The not so good - Not as much choice of food and what there was was only Luke warm. There was a machine in restaurant to re heat the food but was never plugged in and when asked was told it didn't work, however this was brought out every breakfast. Reception staff had a can't be bothered attitude and inside bar very rarely had staff on. All this said it wouldn't stop be from revisiting, just a few tweaks needed.

The people, the atmosphere, the people, the room, the swimming pool, all the facilities, the scenery, everything was magical and perfectly set for an unforgettable stay. Laganas is an ideal place for relaxation and fun, and Zante Park the ideal hotel to spoil yourself at very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend it!

"Amazing"
Victoria C, 22 Octobre 2018

We went here for two weeks with a 9 year old. We loved it, was amazing food (great for veggies), staff very helpful and accomodating. Limited entertainment but suited our needs. Close to town if you want to party, but far enough out for quiet. Very clean and great facilities. Cocktails are fab. Already want to come back. Our daughter loved the reception lady, had great time with her daily.

"Unplanned night with great outcome"
fionawillcox90, 07 Octobre 2018

Myself and my boyfriend booked 7 nights in Zante at the Canadian Hotel however there was a mistake with our booking so had an all expenses paid night at Zante Park as it's their sister hotel. Very nice hotel, friendly staff and a terrace with pool for relaxing from our room. Brekkie was included, typical all inclusive food but nice enough and lots of options

"1 week in Best Western 2018"
TriBu2018, 01 Septembre 2018

The hotel doesn't correspond to 5*hotel at all. Our room wasnt destinated for a 4 beds (2adults, 2 kids-3and 7 years old). We hadnt even the space for our 2 languages! The beds were all over the room. I visited 2 other rooms with attention to exchange but they were all the same size. The food: you will always find something you can eat. I wasn't starving. But you should not be too demanding. Not too much meat, no sea food, old bread, chemical deserts.. Once we had "the skin of potatoes" with Cedar cheese.... The drinks are terrible! Not a real juice. So it doesn't even motivates you to drink their cocteils. The snacks in the afternoon were like a bad joke - sandwich with nearly nothing inside, imitation of cookies and ice cream of identified taste. The only positive thing on this hotel is their Spa and Beauty salon. The ladies are very nice and helpful. The public beach was dirty (cigarettes, plastic), no public toilets or shower. Even if the sea water was really clean, we saw the turtles,we visited Zante, we rent the boat etc.i would not come back to Zakynthos. There are much nicer islands in Greece that I can recommend as well as the hotels. (Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodos).

"Not a good hotel at all"
JeffWilliams1970, 19 Août 2018

Food was terrible the place was grotty and really not good for kids we booked with Thomas cook who lied though there teeth beware there was cars everywhere we got flee bits all over us and if you want to sit on the sun beds on there part of the beach you were charged €6 a day disgusted with the whole place.

"Amazing place to stay"
676tracey, 16 Août 2018

An amazing hotel. We had returned to this hotel after 25 years of marriage and was so glad we did! The hotel was clean, staff were great, food was amazing! We was upgraded to a room with a private pool which was out of this world and made our holiday! Has a back massage at the Spa which was brilliant. Will definately go back. Thank you Zante Park for making our holiday. One to remember. Xx

"Miss and hit with the all inclusive "
aberdeen27, 01 Août 2018

Hotel and rooms were very clean. We booked a suite with four poster bed but would have preferred a swim up room. Asked reception if there were any available and were told they were all booked however we were the floor above and not one family occupied the swim up rooms near us the whole week we were there. The reception staff were rude. The staff around the restaurant were rude and lazy. The only great member of staff (apart from the housekeepers) was the young man who helped behind the swim up bar as well as clearing all the glasses, plates and food from around the swimming area and replenishing the snack area. He never stopped working and put the older waiters to shame who just stood about. A few times I cleared up people's food etc from the tables at lunchtime and dinner because the waiters were too busy standing chatting. The towels issued for the pool area is just crazy. You have to leave your towel in your room and housekeeping will give you another one when they clean your room. BUT how do you go to the pool without your towel??? We did ask George the “general manager” about this and he said go to reception and on the occasion we did they said we would have to wait!!! Why not have a box where you drop off dirty ones at any time of day and be issued with a card and collect new ones with the card like other hotels do??? People were complaining about the noise some kids were making coming home in the early hours. It goes both ways as we were woken early by little children screaming down the corridors at 6-6:30am so these things just have to be tolerated both ways. As the “all inclusive” finishes at 11pm I can't believe that the security men even stopped my boys playing pool too. They made a point of taking cues and balls away to stop them which is ridiculous. Need to be a bit more aware of the older customers needs. Great location for beach, other bars and restaurants but staff could do with a course in customer relations - especially the waiters and reception staff.

"Shame of Thomas cook!! "
Vicki S, 28 Juillet 2018

We came as a group of 3 adults and 1 child to a family friendly all inclusive hotel. ,Hotel, food and staff I can't fault!! I can fault however Thomas cook!! I will never book with them again!! How can they sell a family holiday stating superior double rooms to actually being put in 1 room with 2 beds and 2 fold me downs!! 2 chairs, 2 tooth brushes, 2 cups, 2 dressing gowns, and for the Thomas cook rep to say it was a room for 4!! If so why only 2 of the above?? Then the party goers hit!! Shouting and screaming in the early hours of the morning and carrying on until dawn!! It was definitely not family orientated ,my child hardly slept!! This was something out of the hotels control, and I'm sorry for the low score as this hotel is beautiful, Thomas cook let it down with the people they book holidays for, shame on them!!

"Amazing hotel- shame about reception! "
Harriet E, 21 Juillet 2018

Food- outstanding! Huge selection, brilliant quality and more than enough to go around! The pasta station was very popular! Room- very nice room, air con worked beautifully and the balcony was lovely. Lovely bathroom and lots of facilities in the room. Pool- lovely. Lovely pool area and brilliant having 2 pools! Pool bar- again really good, lovely touch. Gym- never opened and poorly equipped Reception- very rude, very unfriendly, very unhelpful and limited English. A complete disgrace to the hotel which is such a pity when this is the first impression you get!

"Great for the money you pay"
111feliciaf, 14 Juillet 2018

I did not have very high expectations on this hotel since it was pretty cheap and a lot included for the money. But I was surprised over how nice it was. Its pretty small but wit a nice family-atmosphere. The pool area is nice and the food is simple but well made. The Greeks are not world famous for service but things worked fine. There is very little to do at the hotel but if you mostly want to hang out by the pool its a great choice. The only thing I have to complain about is that the room was vey small. We payed extra for a superior room for two adults and two kids but we barely could fit the stroller in the room. The cleaning of the rooms were however exceptional and it was a luxury that they came to fix the room twice per day!

"A hotel with confused policies"
mark147_13, 13 Juillet 2018

This hotel markets itself as a family hotel suited for relaxation and luxury, under the brand name of a Best Western 4 star hotel targeting couples, families and weddings. My wife and I did at times experience some of these characteristics that Zante park advertised on their websites, the all-inclusive package did satisfy the basic requirements throughout the holiday, lunches and evening meals did become very repetitive as each day passed. Zante park does provide two fantastic swimming pools and plenty of available sunbeds and umbrellas with polite and hardworking staff helping to provide the all-inclusive packages and hotel cleanliness throughout our stay. Zante Parks continuing policies of excepting groups for young single male and female holidaymakers mixing with other guesses contradicts all their policies of a quiet relaxing atmosphere within the hotel walls, I fail to understand how Zante park justifies between the hours of 02.00 to 07.00 each night groups of drunk screaming youths returning from bars and clubs running wild on each floor, banging their hotel doors screaming and partying in their rooms. Zante park does have great potential of becoming a fantastic hotel in the future but at present poor management strategies of mixing groups of young party holidaymakers with families and couples does not work. Please be aware if you are thinking of staying in this hotel and are a light sleeper, I would not recommend it.

"Don't come if you are young"
genesis510, 23 Juin 2018

It's a family hotel. The pool is nice. Food is terrible, the only decent thing is the chicken nuggets as there is barley any meat, been living off salad for a week and i'm starving. Food is also covered in flies as the doors are always open to the outside. The atmosphere is boring, barely any music and when there is it's the same songs on repeat. No entertainment or entertainers doing activities, only a rock/classical singer at night. The strip is 15 minutes away and plenty of shops around. All inclusive ends at 11pm so stock up on drinks. The room is clean and modern, a little small though with only 2 plug sockets placed in inconvenient places. Our room is also based outside the main block and across a road, not ideal.

Excellent, excellent, excellent , great food , friendly staff , clean rooms and excellent facilities, will definitely be going back , memories made ! Children loved it ,buffet food , clean and excellent variety of food , lovely clean swimming pools and surroundings, close to the beach 2 minutes walk ,shops and excellent restaurants nearby, ??

"Loved it"

The hotel was clean , staff was friendly, we had a great time. At first we stayed at the Savvas De Mar, it was a horrible place. But thank god we found this hotel which completed our holiday experience. Thankyou.

"Rude reception staff"
itsallaboutfun, 07 Juin 2018

Visited this hotel 17 - 21st May for my daughters 21st birthday . Booked two deluxe rooms which were allocated a corridor apart. My daughters room had a fabulous pool view whereas my room was at the back of the hotel with a disused car park for a view from my balcony. Really disappointed with my room so explained to reception that we were on holiday for my daughters 21st and would it be possible to have a room closer to hers and also the view from our room was awful. The lady went away and came back and abruptly said no there were no rooms with a pool view and only a standard room would be available in 3 days time. She wasn't prepared to try and find us two rooms together and walked away. Later on we left our room key in the room and had to ask for another , of which was thrown across the counter at us, again rude and unprofessional . Even when my nieces phone was stolen they were ignorant and unhelpful even though we knew the mobile phone was still in the hotel due to a tracker. Hotel in general was clean and food plentiful, drinks were ok, with 4 different cocktails to choose from, if all inclusive. Sandwiches, chips and biscuits available all day along with soft drinks and tea, coffee etc. 15 min walk to the strip, beware of bar touts on the way to the strip yelling you that the main strip doesn't get busy until 1 or 2am, we got there about 11:30 most nights and was pretty busy even though quite early in the season. Music on the strip is amazing and more house than than cheesy pop holiday music you normally get on other strips. As good as Ibiza I reckon !!! Wouldn't stay at this hotel, would prefer something closer to the strip but if they gave there receptionist a lesson in customer service then would definitely recommend.

"Fantastic Holiday"
lstringer2017, 04 Juin 2018

This was our 5th visit to Laganas but our first in this hotel. On arrival we were put in the annexe with swim up pool but as we had friends arriving we asked if we could be moved. A special thanks to Simona on reception for all her help throughout our stay and for moving us to a fantastic pool view room in main hotel. All areas were exceptionally clean, we had a beautiful room and couldn't fault the food. The only negative about our stay was 2 days before we left a large group of about 60 school leaver teenagers arrived. They were so rowdy and kept us us all night with their constant running up and down the corridors, shouting, sweating and screaming. The hotel security staff did what they could but with such a large group it was impossible to keep them all quiet and this went on till 5am. I really wouldn't have thought a hotel of this standard would have let such a large group of teenagers book together. However, this said I would still return as other than this everything about the hotel was fantastic.

Had good week away. Not a family hotel as expecting limited entertainment but this down to thomas cook description of family english hotel. Very clean Good choice of buffet good. (Be a good idea to invest in fly covers zappers as oh was about to leave first day due to fly on food). No free bottled water. We may be fussy. But we had a good week , staff friendly helpful. Pools nice and no one minded kids jumping in making noise.

"Week away "

1st time in Zante this hotel was very clean.food was above average drinks were fine staff were friendly I would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to visit. Near the Main Street for shops and bars would visit again.

"The good ,the bad,and the ugly."
daytripper041152, 20 Mai 2018

The Good, Exceptionally clean throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. The bad. All inclusive drinks and food were one star at best. Nearly all the “ Hot “ food was basically tepid ( there's a piece of equipment in the restaurant to reheat your food ) House spirits YUK . Draught beer bare able. The ugly Rubbish lined roads everywhere. Derelict and rundown shops and buildings. The beach is littered with mountains of rubbish. Don't waste your money staying at this hotel.

"Great spa "
Ichick, 13 Mai 2018

Had the pleasure whilst staying at the hotel to visit the spa for a massage & a facial. The staff that greeted me on arrival were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. My massage and facial was done by Stavroula. She is very experienced and her technique ensured you are beautifully relaxed by the end of the massage. Will definitely be back to try other treatments.

"Comfortable and clean "
Amber T, 10 Mai 2018

Me and 3 friends have just returned from a week in this hotel and we thought it was great! The all inclusive options were really tasty. A little ‘same-y' but I'd rather that than have poor quality food. The hotel is always absolutely spotless. The staff never stop and are always happy to help. The pools are beautiful! A little too cold to swim in (for me personally) but very picturesque and clean. We didn't see 1 hotel on the island that looked nicer than this one ! Definitely worth a stay ?? thanks for a lovely holiday.

"Hospitable, nice, comfortable."
Marcin E, 02 Février 2018

Comfortable location, great cuisine, helpful staff. Far from noisy "downtown" (few blocks away) but very close to the beach. Two pools (one with bar, shallow for the kids, second for swimmers). But the most important: local Waiter - mr Alexander. Greatest human being on the island.

"Fantastic holiday !"
stephens473, 02 Novembre 2017

Having read previous reviews we were a little nervous about what to expect , I'm not sure if i stayed at the same hotel as some of these reviewers ??as we had no negatives whatsoever during our weeks holiday and will be going again next year. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute transfer from the airport and set in a quiet area , we had no noise at all from inside or outside the hotel. Our room was a deluxe room on the top ( 3rd floor ) and was very peaceful and we had a lovely view of the hotel gardens and mountains as well as being able to people watch from the balcony. The room was beautifully decorated and had a lovely four poster bed , additional seating , large desk/dressing table and a beautiful bathroom with a full bath and a shower. The water was always piping hot and it was nice to have a choice of a bath to relax or the shower for quickness. The air conditioning was ice cold and we had ours on 24 hours a day - not sure why previous reviewers had a problem. The room fridge was very useful and the coffee tray well stocked , no tea bags but these were plentiful in the dining room to bring back to the room. The hotel is modern , clean and again well furnished .We had no problem getting a sun bed regardless of what time we went to the pool area. The 2 swimming pools are large and well kept and the swim up bar was very handy , there is also an outdoor spa pool. There were hardly any children at the hotel and as far as we could see it does not offer the usual kids clubs etc, this suited us and we enjoyed the “adult” atmosphere. It was nice to see people making an effort in the evening and most guests wore smart evening wear which makes a change. The food - where do I start , the choice on the all inclusive was amazing, something different every evening ( yes chips were available with everything) but so much more . We enjoyed various steaks, chicken, lamb etc every night as well as a delicious choice of fresh vegetables, salad and fruit. The breakfast meant you could actually have a “ full English “ if that's your thing or a multitude of different items , lunch was the same and always different to the evening meal. There were sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and ice cream available in between meals if you had the room! The wine was very good and so were the cocktails served from the pool bar or lounge, there were different cocktails available in the restaurant each evening. Live entertainment was provided every evening except on the Saturday when a wedding took place , the entertainment was very enjoyable and it was nice to experience local dancing and singing. The staff always found time to speak , regardless of the time of day or night and were always smiling. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, the housekeeping staff came every day and our room was kept immaculate and restocked with shower gel etc . A special mention to Harris who was a joy and his cocktails amazing, he also played instruments in the evening entertainment and is a major asset at the hotel. The staff work very hard from early morning to late at night to ensure you have a great holiday and I thank them for their hard work and efforts. Can't wait to go back next year.

"Lovely Hotel however"
Scott G, 27 Octobre 2017

The hotel was beautiful, staff, food and drink was amazing. Cannot fault it in anyway except the stray animals. There is a dog and approx 10 kittens constantly in the grounds that are clearly starving. Skin and bones and covered in sores was one kitten it was heart wrenching. If this sort of thing bothers you like me then maybe a rethink.

"Fantastic.exceeded expectations"
alli207, 21 Octobre 2017

Well what can I say. We have just returned from the beautiful island of zakynthos. We arrived late at night at the hotel to find ourselves upgraded to a room with a private pool.stunning. The hotel itself was beautiful .very clean in all areas .beautiful pools and setting. The food was plentiful and very varied. We felt totally spoilt.pool bar was lovely and manned by Eva and hanis. Apologies if not spelt correctly.balmy nights spent on the terrace with a cocktail in hand. This was our first holiday abroad and zante park you really exceeded our expectations. Thank you to all staff for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday

"Lovely hotel staff food and good location"
Gill H, 16 Octobre 2017

The room was lovely, wardrobe a little small but no real problem. Room cleaned every day with fresh linen and towels. The food was lovely absolutely no complaints! Nice friendly staff. Only downside was the A/inclusive drinks, no resemblance to vodka, brandy etc! All in all a really nice hotel not far from the beach.

"Nice Hotel"
Ethan R, 06 Octobre 2017

The location of Zante Park is very good, you are close enough to the main strip to walk to the bars and clubs but far enough away to avoid the chaos. The restaurant always had an abundance of food available at all times of the day and night. As it is an all inclusive buffet you have to go into it with an open mind, it is what it is.We always found something to eat, but then again I would eat anything. Those who are fussy eaters may struggle at times. The facilities around the hotel were generally good and serviceable. The staff were very hard working and seemed to work long hours and were in every day, although they were always pleasant and polite. The pool is of good quality and was not too busy during our stay meaning we had space to swim. The beach is only 5 minutes walk up the road if your more of a sea swimmer. Across the road is a car/bike/quad hire company (2 and 4 Wheel Hire) who we used to hire a quad and would recommend. The quad was a good way to see the Island! and would recommend to anyone.

"Excellent!"
Elina T, 02 Octobre 2017

We were with a group booked in this hotel, Laganas is a horrible place but this hotel is wonderful! The staff is very efficient and the place is well organised, clean and beautiful. Special note to the chef: CONGRATULATIONS! we had the food or our lives, so much in quantity and soooooo good in quality and taste ! The pool area is also spacious, comfortable and cozy. No views but quiet. I would recommend it (if you like Lganas....)

"A good 3* hotel"
JAY S, 23 Septembre 2017

We have just got back from a weeks holiday at Zante Park and echo what other reviews have said. The hotel when compared to other similar places in the Canaries, Balearic's etc is somewhat lacking to call itself 5*. We arrived in the early afternoon and checked in relatively quickly, although we were left loitering in reception while the receptionist checked on our room there was a lack of communication here. All we wanted to do was get changed and drop our bags off! Once in the room it was a good size and appeared clean and tidy when we entered. We were put in complex across the road from the main building which wasn't an issue for us and we thought may be a bit quieter as it was away from the pool and restaurant. One negative was the bed was like sleeping on a slab of granite, I like a hard mattress but this was like sleeping on the floor. The facilities around the hotel were generally good and serviceable. Early in the morning there were always an army of cleaners cleaning the pool and the outside areas. The staff were very hard working and seemed to work long hours and were in every day, although they were always pleasant and polite. Harris in the pool bar was very good as was the lady in the lobby bar (Doskou?) Alexander in the main restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. The restaurant always had an abundance of food available at all times of the day and night. As it is an all inclusive buffet you have to go into it with an open mind, it is what it is. It isn't a 5* restaurant so a lot of the food is repetitive and produced on a mass scale. We always found something to eat, but then again I would eat anything. Those who are fussy eaters may struggle at times. There were a few negatives. There was a distinct lack of insulation/sound deadening around the rooms, you could hear your neighbour burp and fart in the morning! As others have said there was also a lot of noise from people coming back late and banging and crashing doors and just generally rearranging furniture. At one point I thought the bloke next door was redecorating and completing some minor building works for the hotel! The rooms weren't always cleaned that well by the maids and simple things like towels being removed to wash and new ones not dropped off meaning a walk to reception to obtain some new ones. On one occasion the maid left the balcony door open which could have been an issue if somebody managed to get in during the day when we weren't there. The TV was also out of action for most of our stay, not a massive drama for us as we were out most of the time but for those who like the TV this may have been an issue as the reception weren't sure if/when it was getting fixed. The hotel seems to appeal to couples and groups as opposed to bunches of singletons which is good news. There was a mix of English, German's, Austrians and lots of Eastern Europeans. The location of Zante Park is very good, you are close enough to the main strip to walk to the bars and clubs but far enough away to avoid the chaos that ensues at sundown. When I went running in the morning (8am) it was amusing to watch the clubbers attempting to walk home and find their hotel. One lad I passed on the run out as still walking round in circles when I returned 45 mins later, come to think go it if the alcohol hasn't warn off he's probably still doing laps of the area. Across the road is a car/bike/quad hire company (2 and 4 Wheel Hire) who we used to hire a quad and would recommend. The quad was a good way to see the Island. Also Avanti restaurant across the road is excellent, very good food at very reasonable prices if you fancy a change. There is a massive choice of food and the portions were very generous if you fancy a change from the AI buffet. Overall it was an enjoyable holiday and suited us as a last minute break. The hotel is near to the airport and the transfer time is quick (20 - 30 min) you can even wave to the pilot if you lay in the right location on the beach. We have returned to some hotels over the years but don't think I would return to Zante Park or even Zante itself as I would like to try other areas. All in all it is really a 3* hotel in my opinion and experience.

"Good but needs improvement"
Daniel J, 17 Septembre 2017

The hotel is very well positioned to shops, restaurants and the beach. Everything is a walk away. Staff are very, very attentive so be polite and they will look after you and they work exceptional hard long days. Bar, restaurant, reception, maintenance and housekeeping all work hard for you to enjoy your stay. Food was in abundance. If your coming to Greece expecting to be catered for as if you were at home then my suggestion is that you stay at home. Your not going to bet a full English breakfast, you'll get a Greek version possibly but you have to adapt. The down side to some of the food was it was over processed. For instance one night a tray of mash potatoe was out and it was made from instant mash (smash) and it tasted vial. Potatoes are cheap so I couldn't understand, they also used this instant mash on a shepherds pie which spoiled it. Processed meats in the salads, not nice. Red wine very strong, almost a brandy taste to it. Plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, salads. I would say they need to improve on certain nights like Chinese, not good. Some bits over cooked or void of taste. Instant coffee (no fresh) was not nice and I would take your own Tea bags if your a tea drinker. Milk absoulty fine, cold and warm. No fresh fruit juices all post mix. Allegedly the hotel had a refit in 2016. Our room 226 was clean and comfortable however, parts of the handles where missing on drawes and doors, wonky and a little worn. The hallway was incredibly, incredulous noisy. No ones door closed softly slammed shut. So at 1/2/3am in the morning you'll be woken by the drunks coming back from clubbing. This was one thing we did pick up on straight away, good mix of people but it was filling up with 18-30's I was hoping the price would put people off. Doors are also hard to lock from the inside, had to lean on the door to lock it. Air conditioning worked very well, you have to make sure your balcony door is shut properly for it to come on. # No 1 issue.... Shower. Hotel would prefer that you used the shower however, shower facilities very, very poor. It's a tap based shower and the pipe coming from the tap is not long enough to cater for someone who's 6'4. Also the thermostat went from hot to cold, hot to cold all the time. PARENTS DO NOT leave your children under the shower, I got scolded twice. Not impressed. For September I will not pay the £1300 for 2 people via Thomas Cook again. It wasn't worth this amount.

"Nice but not 5*"
Tavi N, 15 Septembre 2017

The hotel personal is not very polite, they rise sometimes voice and make easy irony (reception) if you try to be humble. The food is OK, but the waiters take your food plate even if you suspend the fork and knife on the plate. We reserved a two person room and we got a family room with an extra bed. The light in the bathroom was really poor and I couldn't shave properly. After the second day I received a notice that I have to pay some drinks from the minibar that I never drunk (they probably didn't make inventory after the last person). The best parts were the pool, the evening's concerts, and the location (the beach was near to the hotel) and the food. I had a great time but with little more politeness from the hotel personal I think they could make the little inconvenients insesizabile.

"Last minute break"
Tracy K, 13 Septembre 2017

Hotel and staff were lovely, food was good but could do with a bit more choice. Rooms were very clean and spacious, overall very happy with our stay. Pool and poolside bar excellent. Would recommend this hotel ideal location, close to bars and shops.

"Lovely pool; horrendous food."
Hannahmariecaudle, 09 Septembre 2017

We stayed at the Zante park for a week, everyday spend by the beautiful and spacious pool area. Rooms were relatively clean, however not spotless and I did have to clean the bathroom before I felt comfortable using it. Food was horrendous, to the extent that we couldn't take advantage of our all inclusive package and ate at Avanti (restaurant opposite the hotel) every lunch and dinner. Not only was the selection of food basic and of poor quality, there were no food coverings and so many flies.. naturally, this didn't make for a good mix and there were often flies landing and helping themselves to the food... horrible. The drink selection wasn't bad.. however, the all inclusive drinks end at 11pm and then you have to pay for your drinks.. there is also no availability for bottled water on the all inclusive package.. as you're not meant to drink the water in Greece we found ourselves spending a fortune of water (I do drink an awful lot though and perhaps others are fine with just drinking soft drinks). Staff were not overly rude, as stated in other reviews, however they are slightly lacking in manners - could this be down to a language barrier, maybe? Overall( I had a lovely holiday. The Zante park is in a great location and the negative points were able to be rectified by eating out, cleaning the room myself and buying bottled water at the kiosk. Location and pool area are fab!

"Lovely hotel, shame about the food. "
Joshua M, 07 Septembre 2017

Stayed here between 27th Aug - 3rd Sep and really enjoyed my holiday. I found that the hotel and rooms were extremely clean compared to previous hotels I have stayed at in Greece. The pool and sunbed area were perfect for a relaxing week away and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Aside from the questionable choice of music during the day it is a great hotel for all to visit. My only gripe is that the food (especially breakfast) was not up to scratch compared to the rest of the hotel. The selection of food was minimal, the only thing that I would consider good was the meat selection but only if it was fresh as there seemed to be alot of flies about. Which brings me to another point, none of the food was covered enough to stop flies getting to it. Breakfast was so terrible that myself and my friend decided to have breakfast and dinner out every day to fully enjoy our holiday. The Avanti restaurant across the road was our breakfast spot which was perfect, with great food at really reasonable prices. To sum up I would defiantly stay at this hotel again, and if the food situation improved this hotel could be a perfect holiday destination.

"Amazing hotel 10/10"
Sophia T, 07 Septembre 2017

I stayed at Zante Park hotel for 2 weeks with my family and we had an inclusive package. First impressions of the hotel were very good - looked exactly like it did online. A modern hotel, with many other hotels and restaurants surrounding it. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the colourful and lively strip - full of bars, restaurants and clubs. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcomed us from the day we arrived. They recommended the top things to do on the island, such as the boat trip to see the turtles which was fun and guaranteed to at least stop and take pictures/videos of the turtles. The boat trip itself was about 1.5 hours, with a funny and informative boat driver/tour guide. Another recommended trip was to go and see the shipwreck on "Navagio beach" and also the blue caves. The tours allowed you time to relax off the boat and take pictures of the ship and its breath taking views of the white sands and clear blue seas. The kitchen and bar staff were friendly, always starting conversations with everyone, which made us feel at home and comfortable. There was plenty of food for breakfast and lunch. Every night for dinner, there would be different cuisines on offer and themed accordingly. One night, we had Chinese, then Italian, then 'American diner' food - which was great to eat something different every night. Not forgetting the regular barbeques! Every evening, there was live entertainment – both English and Greek music, including traditional Greek dancing every Sunday night Having the pool bar was a great asset of the hotel, all bar staff (Haris, Avijol and Eva) were hospitable and always with a smile on their faces. As we were on a full inclusive package, the range of free drinks was very generous and the atmosphere around the pools was vibrant. Our holiday would have never been the same without the creative cocktails prepared by the cheerful bar man, Haris. Every day he created different cocktails, “Haris' specials” and if you were lucky enough, he would name one after you! I definitely recommend this hotel and I am already planning my next trip there :) - Sophia T (London)

"Nice, clean & modern hotel"
K P, 05 Septembre 2017

We stayed here for a week from 27 Aug - 4 Sep (me, husband & 2 kids). Upon arrival (at stupid o clock in the morning due to rubbish flight times) we were asked to pay a security deposit of €50, or leave a debit/credit card on file. We were then put into the building across the road from the hotel. Reviews on here made me worry about this, but to be honest the room & location were fine. Room was clean, and the maids do a grand job of keeping on top of them. Only issue was the smell from the drains but I can put up with that for a week. Hotel. The hotel itself is lovely & clean. The staff are friendly enough & speak better English than I speak Greek, so no complaints there. I didn't use the spa so can't comment on that. The lobby bar was never busy, so the kids enjoyed a few games of pool. Pool. The pool area itself was clean, and there were plenty of sun beds to go around. If anyone tried to reserve them with towels early in the morning, staff didn't put up with it & took the towels away. There are 2 pools & a little jacuzzi pool, as well as a swim up bar. The bar staff were pleasant & efficient, and I was in awe of how they managed to ignore the swarm of wasps that surrounded them as they worked! Tip; use the toilets on the bottom floor of the hotel as opposed to the ones next to the pool as they are quite grotty. Also, the music choice was shocking. Constantly repeating about 10 tunes, if that. Then when they did change the music, they put a Christmas soundtrack on. Unreal. Food. What can I say, it's an all inclusive buffet. I always managed to find something to eat, as did my husband & daughter, but my fussy son spent most of the holiday eating chips with the occasional bit of meat. The food can become quite repetitive, but I think that's down to people not willing to expand their taste buds, including myself. It always looked fresh & but I wasn't impressed at the amount of flies landing on it, and the lack of deterrent. We never struggled to find a table either, and there was a lovely dark haired pretty girl who worked in there who I found was really nice (sorry don't know her name). Entertainment. Not much of it; there were a few singers but we went out every night as it looked boring. Nearby. There is a restaurant called Avanti opposite. We went there the last night & the staff were lovely, the meal was nice, & they chuck in a drink or ice cream on the house. There are quite a few shops nearby, which sell allsorts. You can buy lilos for the pool for about €8, but take your own sun cream cos I thought they charged a fortune for it (about €15-20 for a decent one compared to our £4 Asda ones lol). A bit further up the road is a few more shops & restaurants, then you arrive at the beach. The beach is ok; sand is grotty as it's full of cigarette dumps and rubbish, but the kids loved the sea. We were charged €5 for two beds so take change with you. If you walk along the beach there's lots of restaurants and lots of men selling things like bracelets/sunglasses etc. We also found a lovely family bar up the road called Bar Fantasy. The strip. It's full of bars & drunk teenagers. Avoid at night time if you don't like that sort of thing, but it's ok during the day if you've got kids. There's loads of shops and restaurants too, and my husband loved all the snidey designer and sports gear lol. There's one pharmacy which is located opposite macdonalds, and they're really helpful in there for minor things (in our case a rash my son had and buying dressings for an open wound I had). There's tons of doctors around, and just beware of the "ambulances" that reverse on to the path at the speed of light. Also beware of the amount of drunks riding quad bikes. We booked two trips with MyTours while we were there. First the boat trip to the Shipwreck Cove. Cost about €75 for a family of four, which was the bus to the boat, then the boat trip (get on first as they overload the boats and you will end up standing for 1.5hrs like I did as the non-English people aren't fond of moving along to allow people to sit next to them). The cove itself was far too busy to be enjoyable. The boat drops you off for 30mins and you can't enjoy yourself in the sea as there's boats beeping their horns at you to move constantly, and the beach is too packed. There's a lady selling pop and sandwiches at ridiculous prices so make sure you take plenty of water and snacks with you. After the cove, the boat takes you to a look at some caves, and also allows you to jump into the sea for a quick 20min swim. If I had of known what the trip involved, I'd have saved my money and booked another day at the water park....the water park was good; €81 for us 4 which included the transport there and back. The park itself wasn't too busy and the lifeguards are on the ball at keeping watch, and also stopping people hogging the rubber rings/pushing in. It says taking your own food isn't allowed, but we did. There's snack bars in there too, and lockers which are €5 (€2 returned). Lastly, this is for people traveling from Newcastle (and I think Manchester could be affected too), beware of your check out times. We had to check out at midday on the Sunday, but weren't picked up til 3am Monday, and the hotel don't know if they have any rooms until the day before, or in our case, when we checked out. Mavra from reception managed to get us a room but it was touch & go. Cost us €60 which I was furious about (not hotel fault, it's Thomas cook who fail to tell you this until you've paid your holiday). I recommend this hotel and this area to people as it's in an ideal location; plenty to do without being bang in the centre of the drunks :)

"Great hotel "
Adrienne B, 04 Septembre 2017

Great place to stay! It was an easy walk to the beach and near things to do. The rooms are also very clean. The pool area was very enjoyable and the bartender Harris was very friendly and made great drinks. He made my pool experience even better. I would stay here again!

"Lovely Hotel, But.."
CharlieJones01, 18 Août 2017

My boyfriend and I stayed at Zante Park Hotel for 2 weeks from 3rd August 2017 to 17th August 2017. There were some great things about the hotel and some downfalls as well. See below for my personal opinion and ratings of the hotel, facilities, location, weather and hotel service provided. Location * * * * * : the location of the hotel was perfect it is a about a 5 min walk to the beach (which is a lovely sandy beach with clear blue sea and warm water BUT no fish other than hermit crabs right at the bottom. Very busy right as you walk in but go a little further down and its much quieter and better without the sunbeds every where). Another great thing about the location is that its not to close to the strip so you're far enough away from the riff raff and noise of the strip itself but close enough to take a 15 minute walk to get there and be in the middle of it all. Also the hotel is about a 20 minute drive to the Airport (if that) but you don't hear the airplanes are all so its a win win there. Weather * * * * *: The weather at this time of year was amazing it was perfect and didn't go under 30 degrees Celsius the whole time, there was a couple of days that did get slightly to hot actually and hit about 45 degrees which made us feel like we were melting. Hotel * * * * : The hotel itself is a very beautiful building, it looks brand new and is very clean. We were pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous our room was; a huge bed with pretty panels and drapes all around it coming down. Very spacious room with big wardrobes but not enough coat hangers for both my boyfriend and myself as like to think we are well dressed with shirts and dresses, just not enough coat hangers! The bath room was lovely as well a shower and bath in one but the shower kept going from hot to very cold to very hot whenever we would shower. We also noticed that the bubbles would come up through the floor where the drains were underneath there was a hole in the middle that the bubbles came through and towards the last night I decided to have a bath instead and as the water was running out I noticed all the water coming up through the hole so that was abit of pain having to let the water out slowly and keep stopping it so it didn't flood the bathroom. My boyfriend didn't trust the water in the room when he brushed his teeth he would use bottle water but I used the tap and it was fine and I didn't get sick! The balcony was lovely big enough to sit out and look out at the pool and surrounding area. We did have some issues with our door, unless you slammed it, it wouldn't close properly so you could just push it open if it wasn't slammed. We noticed this after a few times that the maids had been in to clean the room and they hadn't slammed it so we came back to just push our door open (atleast 5 times this happend over a couple days) so as you can imagine we became bit annoyed that the door was being left open for any one to just go into our room. Nothing was taken the times it was left open but we mentioned it to the man at reception and he said that he would tell the maids so they knew to slam the door but the following day we noticed it still was being left open so again went back to the reception to tell the staff and they said that someone would come and fix the door so we waiting about 30 mins and in the end gave up waiting but later that evening when we were getting ready to go out for dinner the man came, had a look at the door, hit it with a hammer a few times and then said it was fixed. But it wasn't we still had to slam the door for it to close properly but after then the maids didn't leave it open. Another thing we thought was rather strange was that the maids came in throughout the day. More than once we had someone coming into our room throughout the day to just change the bins when we hadn't used them etc was very weird. We also had a man knock on our door who said he worked there and wanted to check the TV (which we hadn't used the whole holiday) we said he could come in to check it but he said he would come back later. Again very strange. We never had an issue with getting sunbeds everyday we managed to get two by the pool but it didn't help that the hotel allows people who aren't staying there into the pool and to use the sunbeds. We also saw a group of 3 girls who weren't staying at the hotel come in use the sunbeds all day and then take handfuls of snacks from the open snack bar and the help your self drink machine which as you can imagine annoyed us as we are paying to use the facilities, food and drink yet others can just walk in and eat and drink as much as they want. There is also a great pool table free to use in the upstairs bar, if you can manage to get a game with all the kids that are using it. Food * : the food at the hotel, where do I begin, it was ok, typical all inclusive food which was expected and fine but everything was covered in cheese (which was find by me because I love it but my boyfriend hates it so he struggled to find something he enjoyed) as well as this another issue which was, for me, the worst part of it all was the FLIES!!! They were everywhere, all over the food! For some reason the hotel didn't have food covers over the food and although food was being put out often and regular enough but the flies would get to it first making me feel sick just looking at them on food that we are expected to eat. We barely ate in the hotel due to this and often wen to the lovely restaurant opposite called Avantis which had amazing food for incredibly good prices (we would highly recommend them). The drinks in the hotel were great and the bar staff were lovely as well which was nice. There is a good selection of drinks at the bar and the staff could even suggest some more exciting cocktails to try. The all inclusive ran out at 11.00pm which we thought was very early. Overall I would recommend the hotel due to the location and how beautiful it Is they just need to do a few things to make it that bit better and really earn the 5 stars they have everywhere.

"Best hotel for a long time "
tallblueeyes, 16 Août 2017

First of all location is fantastic, situated a short walk from the beach, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, all around the hotel, but I would class the location as quiet, which for us was ideal. If you want the biz it's a 10 minute walk away, but far enough away not to be bothered by frequenters or loud music. Now the hotel, great condition, fantastic pool area with two pools, a pool with seats you can leisurely swim up to order a cool drink, the other pool is good for energetic lengths, the rooms are great and the maid ensures it's kept clean. There is a poop table in the interior bar and a ping pong table outside if you get fed up in and around the pool Also aircon is excellent and free The dining room had inside and outside tables, the food is also great with enough choice at all meal times, I also liked the fact the staff didn't rush to re lay the tables, although at times you needed to look for additional cutlery if you weren't first at a table, the lunch time menu was much like dinner but maybe more cold dishes and particularly cold meat would be an improvement and given more differentiation between lunch and dinner, also if you get the chance to book the once a week a la carte take it, brilliant, although it could be the ubiquitous chip as there are chips at all meal times including breakfast lol The staff are incredible, nicest I have come across, they will make an effort to help you enjoy your stay, always pleasant and attentive including reception, goes without saying bar staff are fantastic and will mix just the right drink to suit you Entertainment is good, just right for the tone if the hotel and there is the obligatory Greek night, no entertainment for some reason on a Saturday, so if you like bingo and karaoke not for you. So what's the downside, lot of flies when I was there and no obvious deterrent, so they were around food and drink at times, didn't bother me but might bother some people, all inclusive drinks, not as good as the real thing bit that is standard for all inclusive, again didn't bother me too much beer is beer but it's good to go out and sit at a cafe with a real orange juice occasionally, piped music was also a bit monotonous but volume acceptable I loved this hotel, you can just relax and enjoy where you are, no animation team to disrupt your peaceful day. I would highly recommend this hotel you will love it, if your going to zante thus is the only place to stay 5.5 stars well done zante park

"Lovely stay!"
Smb12345, 10 Août 2017

My boyfriend and I stayed here in June 2017 and we loved our stay! We booked a Superior Pool View room but when we arrived we were amazed to find out we had been put into one of the rooms with a private pool! The room itself was nice but the private pool was amazing! The 2 main pools are lovely, one with a swim up bar. There was always plenty of sun loungers, very little people out reserving them at stupid o'clock in the morning as you find in other hotels. There was a couple of groups of young lads but they were never a problem or overly loud or anything. The reception staff were lovely and the rest of the staff were a bit moody but I wouldnt go as far as others are saying that they are rude.. I wouldnt say rude, but maybe they could smile a little! Every area of the hotel was lovely and clean. The food was ok, most of the time I could find something but a couple of nights we had to go out for tea as there was literally nothing that looked appealing to me. I recommend the spa at the hotel, I had a lovely massage and the staff are friendly in there. We stayed at Zante Park's sister hotel (BW Galaxy) last year but this one is much better! Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

"Could have asked for a better hotel "
Jared V, 01 Août 2017

Most young teens go to Zante for one thing only to party and get drunk . This means they are usually quite tough on teens . The staff were lovely and really pleasant , obviously they have limitations to guests due to the reputation and name young teens have brought to the island . The hotel itself is firstly very pretty and clean , it is nicely laid out and has very nice pool , game and gym facilities . The staff are friendly and speak decent English . Most people complain about the food in the Majority of the all inclusive hotels in Zante however the food In the hotel is appealing and tasty . There is s good variety at all meals ( if you make them ) and makes a pleasant place to eat all meals in your stay . The location of the hotel is no to far away from the clubbing strip ( 10 minute walk ) and just a little longer to the beach. Overall I was very pleased with my stay in this hotel and wouldn't think twice about visiting again . The hotel is also family friendly and makes a nice place to relax during your vacation to Zante

"Didn't stay due to unclear booking procedures"
PaulTarbey, 22 Juillet 2017

Booked the hotel for August on their website. It all started then. Got an email few days after the booking stating my card is invalid, and I should submit another one. I emailed back asking what they mean by invalid but there was no response. I called the hotel to find out that 50% was attempted to be charged onto my card months before the actual stay. I told them that this was not visible anywhere while booking on the website and this was met with a fairly rude "you need to pay 50%". After several additional emails and calls, I canceled my reservation today. Additionally, I went on the hotel website to book it again just to see where it states 50% deposit will be needed. Selected the same room, with the same rate, and policies stated "no advance payment is needed to secure this booking". Same statement was in the initial email of booking confirmation where it said "total amount will be paid at check-out". Phone calls and emails were always handles with rude attitude of reservations / reception team. Taking this into consideration, I doubt the stay would have been any nicer.

"Would be 5 star but one member of staff was very rude!"
Mollie H, 21 Juillet 2017

We stayed at this hotel after reading good food reviews and due to the hotel meeting all our required fields we decided to stay. This hotel really should pride itself on the cleanliness and food and facilities. Avijol was amazing and ready made our holiday fun! However 'Panos' should not be working there as he ruins the amount of effort everyone else puts in! After having a room complaint that was later found false he decided to look us up and down and tell us, as English people, that we didn't speak proper English! Such a shame he ruined the end of our holiday....apart from that I would 100% recommend.

A wounderful hotel for a relaxing break staff and owner very attentive in every way , to make your stay unforgettable, hotel very clean and food excellent, the hotel has under gone extensive up grades to a very high quality, we are looking forward to a return visit soon

"Amazing holiday, thank you "
Bex M, 26 Juin 2017

Was worried when I read a few of the reviews moaning about the food and the staff being rude. The food was lovely, always plenty of choice always warm too. The bar staff, waiters, maids and the receptionists were all lovely and very polite. Thank you to the lady on reception who sorted us a room asap when Thomas cook delayed our flight for 34 hours. She was very helpful! Think her name was Mavra? The hotel was also very clean and the maids cleaned the rooms every single day. Lovely pool area too! Hotel was in a good location too, about 15 minutes from the strip so had the best of both worlds. Thank you Zante park hotel! Will definitely return.

"very nice hotel, amazing time."
Grace F, 07 Juin 2017

stayed at zante park from the 29th may-5th of June. When I first came here 2 years ago it was a 4 star hotel and now its gone to a 5! Massive re-furb to the pool area and eating area, pool bar, better food and more seating! Different nights there was different variety of choice also European night etc. Staff were lovely on the front desk and helped with any questions. Drinks were lovely too. All inclusive was the best decision ever at that hotel. Snacks in between meals were the best! especially the ice cream. The only thing i could complain about is the fan in our room was rubbish! it would work when it wanted too and was horrible in the nights when it was hot and didnt want to open to the doors because of the bugs! also would suggest to have a bath mat in the bath because it did get slippery at times! overall fantastic hotel! i will be back!

"Chilled out week "
89sophie, 02 Juin 2017

Stayed at the Zante Park between 21st -28th May. My friends and I wanted a chilled out week and that's just what we got. When we arrived the hotel was very quiet which was great in our eyes. Meal times never a problem finding a table, staff had friendly smiles. Towards the end of the week it was getting busier and we're told the following week (half term) they were fully booked. Definitely think we arrived just at the right time. As it got busier sun beds were in high demand if you arrived to the pool lunch time onwards... You could see the strain on staff at busier times as there were not that many of them due to it being a smaller hotel. Christina in the lobby bar of an evening was great, always on her own but kept things running smoothly. The hotel is lovely and clean! There is always someone around with a mop. Newly renovated I'd say, bedrooms also spotless. The bathroom had an extractor fan!! Don't always get these and if you do they don't always work well enough. This however worked great. With three women in the room we needed the steam to clear quickly for drying hair extra. There is a flaw with the shower though. Although it was fine it sprays everywhere, the glass screen isn't long enough and has a gap at the bottom letting water on the floor. Food was ok always found something to eat but those that are fussy may struggle. At times there wasn't enough of a popular dish so had to wait. One lady in the restaurant wasn't always happy and definitely not helpful when burning my hand one evening which I'm afraid let them down. We did a all day boat trip around the island from My Tours just down the road towards the beach. Reasonably priced and helpful. It was a long day and sometimes a little boring. It would have been nice to have more relaxing sunbeds rather than just chairs. Found ourselves lounging on the floor! The sea was very choppy towards the north of the island making many feel poorly especially arriving at shipwreck cove. Nice too look at, nice beach but too crowded and spoilt it a little. The next cove had just us and was more enjoyable to have a swim extra. Another stop to cove just us again meant you could swim into a little cave and cool off. On our final night we went to a lovely restaurant called the Island about a 5 minute walk. They do not entice you in unlike everyone else there. Many are very rude about it too. This place however so amazing. One lady in particular was amazing. Couldn't do enough just a pleasant good evening was enough. The portion sizes are very generous for the price. Please take a visit. On the whole would recommend this hotel during a quiet time.

"weight watchers recommended"
ADYNorfolk, 31 Mai 2017

I am still her and was waiting for things to improve but they haven't. I wanted to write a fair review so here goes. The rooms are quite nice and spacious. Cleanish if thats a word. Wifi is good, well at least in my room. Would i come again NO. The good bits . The room and wifi as mentioned. The hotel is pokey with 2 average size pools. The food is absolutely disgusting and cold.served by children. I have just been out early and all the mess from last night is still in the same place as it was last night,. They have no staff and the whole place is run on a shoestring. It looked ok from some reviews i read but i would seriously consider your choices. Almost every english person i have spoken to has eaten nothing more than a few chips or a bread roll. I have eaten out every night but one so there is the financial cost to take in also. Spend and book wisely. We have felt sicky all week and thats after just having a breakfast each day. Someone will get seriously ill. One English couple have complained so much that they now have complimentary everything and as an all inclusive should be and the general manager is taking them out to the sister hotel this evening where he insists the food is top quality. That just stinks of this hotel is crap to me and he knows it. So Wifi good Room Good Pool ok Food dont bother . Ahh entertainment ,we had a power point presentation on how to save a turtle that was awesome. Not. Staff are quite lazy in fairness and the management need to employ those over 20. That if there is any management. Thomas cook have no reps at the hotel and have no plans to as they would be off with stress or working in the kitchen. If you have booked i hope the weather is good and the restaurant over the road The avanti is awesome especially when you haven't eaten all day The owner is rubbing his hands and in his words and an English greek accent said "FOOD CRAP". Unfortunately Zante Park YOUR OUT.

"Definately for the young"
gillybeaniow, 28 Mai 2017

Very nice hotel, very clean, staff very friendly, we were very fortunate as in the first four days of our stay the hotel was approximately a third full, which meant everyone had a sunbed with no problem, plenty room for all, no queuing what so ever at the bar, in the restaurant, fab, however we certainly weren't aware that they like to serve alot of their food cold, ie: spaghetti, pasta, rice, baked beans amongst some....its not a fault, thats how they do it.The food was very samey most days and lunch was generally hotter than supper ... The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean, nice bathroom with shower and decent size bath. One person who absolutely shone through was christina, what a beautiful, lovely, kind hardworking lady, and absolute catch for the hotel and one can just hope they give her the credit she deserves, always had time for a chat, always had a smile, even on the last day you could see in her eyes that she was full of cold, she never once complained she just smiled and like a trooper carried on, thank you christina for making our stay special. Downside, the latter part of the week the younguns turned up, you cannot blme the resort or hotel for others stupidity or idiotisies, but there are some very selfish people who think its fine to come home very drunk at 3.30am and scream and shout at each other, bang doors, head butt doors, and just generally do not give 2 hoots about other guests.... we put up with it the 1st night however i did question recepton the next day about what can be done, they were extremely apologetic and said should it carry on to dial 9 on the phone and they would send security, but they also had a one warning and your out policy, so lets hope they keep to that, as night 2 it was a different couple, banging doors, kicking and head butting doors...why? However give credit where credit is due, we gave it 10 minutes or so before we decided to dial security, someone clearly beat us to it and while my husband was dialling security arrived to sort the problem, so they do react , however by this time your well awake! Strongly advise unless your there to party hard take your ear plugs!!!

"Awsome hotel"
daryl-ja-james, 23 Mai 2017

Me and my partner went to za te park hotel at the beginning of may the hotel was very quiet as we one of the first guests to arrive at the start of the season. We had a complimentary bottle of wine which was very nice of the hotel to do. When we arrived the staff were friendly and polite but we caught abit off when we wear asked for a 50 euro deposit which we wear not told about. The room was a nice size with WiFi and very clean Food was also very good as I am not a fussy eater was a different range of selections to choose from as a buffet goes. Staff wear very friendly always said hello and smiling especially Christina who also made the stay a lot more enjoyable as she was a good laugh and was extremely polite and funny definitely a legend Overall it was a fantastic stay and will definitely return in the future

"Lovely stay!"
jules22062206, 23 Mai 2017

We've recently returned from an all inclusive package at the Zante Park hotel. We stayed in a deluxe suite, gorgeous room, immaculately clean with daily visits from the cleaning staff to make beds, empty bins, replenish towels etc. The food was good, at times the variety was a little poor, but it was tasty and hot. Staff were also lovely, especially the waiter Alex who was great with kids and friendly to all the guests. The a la carte is well worth booking, we were entitled to one free a la carte during our stay. Pools were always cleaned daily and the staff maintained the sunloungers and gardens so they were always very clean and tidy. There were also lilos and inflatables around the pool area for guests to use. Short three minute walk to the beach and around 10-15 to the main strip so the hotel wasn't noisy in the evenings during our stay. Lots of local little supermarkets near the hotel to pick up snacks, cigarettes and gifts. Gym was good but a little outdated- only one piece of each equipment e.g. 1 treadmill, 1 cross trainer. There is a €50 deposit to pay on the room, we didn't know about this on arrival, but didn't mind paying it as we had no intention of destroying our room and we received it back without any hassle from the lovely reception staff when we checked out. Would definitely return for another holiday!!!

"Holiday in Zante"
Mark W, 12 Mai 2017

We've just come back from a great holiday in Zante. We stayed at best western Zante park hotel and it was fantastic. 2 minute walk to the beach and 10 min walk to the strip. The staff were friendly especially Xristina she was absolutely fantastic, she always went out her way to help us and great to have a laugh with, she was part of the reason why we had such fantastic time. The only negative thing I would say is that didn't accommodate food allergies and when we attempted to tell multiple members of staff we were ignored and at one point even shrugged at as if they didn't care.

"Just Great"
Dawid M, 11 Mai 2017

Iam recommending that place to everyone. Ive spent lovely week at that hotel. Staff are faboulous specially barmaid Xristina from main bar which ll stay in my memory. The food was perfect and the drinks are amazing.

"Amazing holiday, lovely hotel and great staff"
Calellareview, 10 Mai 2017

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from Zante park and this is definitely the best holiday we have been on. The hotel looks lovely from the outside and is a short walk to the beach. The restaurants and bars are far enough so that you don't hear all the noise of all the party goers. The room was decorated really nice and perfectly clean, we were given bath robes, fresh towels and fresh bedding whenever the cleaners came in. We also had a bottle of sparkling wine to welcome us as we were the first guests of the season and we had a lovely pool view. We made friends with some other groups of people at the hotel so we were rather loud around the pool but not once did they complain they saw we were having a good time! The food i couldn't fault it, best all inclusive food and drinks i have ever had and a different selection most of the time. There was a waiter called Alex who was really friendly and was always working really hard and cleaning plates as soon as he saw you were finished. One member of staff stood out for all of us over our holiday and that was Xristina. She actually took the time to get to know us and knew what we would like to drink and just made all of her effort to make sure we had such a good holiday and she really stood out, i actually would go back there just to see her she was a lovely genuine person and no matter how busy she got at the bar she would always be collecting glasses and making sure that everyone was served. I have no idea how she does it as i would have been highly stressed out serving all those customers and cleaning up but she did it all with a smile and i thank her for that. Thank you Zante park, it was a pleasure!!

"Brilliant! "

The hotel is very beautiful, we had a room with a pool view and because we were one of the first visitors of the season we were given a bottle of prosseco in our room on arrival. The hotel room was very nice and the maids kept it clean and give you clean towels each day. There were two pools and one jacuzzi. One of the pools has a pool bar which is very nice as you can sit in the pool while having a drink. The food at the hotel was very nice, especially the soups! There was a choice of salads, chips every meal time and a selection of deserts. Each day they had a new dish. Breakfast had fruit, cereal, and a choice of the typical English breakfast. Alex the waiter was very polite and well mannered when clearing your table, and would clean up any plates that were finished with by the time you came back with another plate of food. The all inclusive drinks consists of wine, beer, cocktails and soft drinks. The snackbar has a few sandwiches, cake and ice cream. Me and my partner arrived at the hotel on the Monday and found it very quiet as there was only about 15 people staying at the hotel. When booking the hotel we were told there would be entertainment on in the evenings but there was nothing. It wasn't until the friday that they had a man and woman singing and someone playing the keyboard. We found the act very boring and wasn't that good. On the Sunday when going for our evening meal they had a man and woman Greek dancing. The location of this was by the entrance of the dining area. This was a terrible location as people would be trying to go in and out through the doors with hot food and you would have to dodge the dancers swinging about. They could have opened another door for people to go in and out of to make it a lot safer. The location of the hotel is about 5min walk to the beach and about 7mim walk to the restaurants, nightclubs and shops. The hotel is peaceful and you don't hear any noise in the nights. While at the hotel we made friends with three other groups of guests. One person who really stands out though was Xristina the barmaid. She made the effort to talk to us and gave good advice on places to go for days out. She remembers what everyone's favourite drink is and would brighten anyone's day with her smile and laughter. Through the week it started getting busier with more guests arriving and Xristina did an amazing job serving guests at the all inclusive bar as well as collecting glasses and cleaning tables, I think I would have been stressed with so much pressure doing all these things! Myself and my partner would definitely come back to Zante park hotel just to see Xristina again Well done Zante park definitely a 5 star experience! Elen and daryl :)

Greece is one of my favorite destinations and I like Zakynthos very much. This particular hotel was very good but I was quite disappointed with a few things. The staff - quite alright, everyone was very nice and really helpful. The food they served was good, rather typical Greek cuisine. My partner really loved the desserts and as for me - I still remember the great lamb, the tzatziki and basically all the meats we had there. Zante Park is not located in the centre of Laganas which I personally found to be a huge advantage of the hotel, as we were close to the centre, yet not in the middle of the madness that goes on there:). The pools were great - there were three of them. Some photos of the pool area show the old one, while now they have one pool for children, a deeper pool for older swimmers and a very nice jaccuzzi. However, I was very disappointed with our room - it was nothing like the rooms we saw in the pictures we were shown while booking the trip - it was located in a building on the other side of the street. Old furniture, uncomfortable beds and wicket door (!) with only the handles removed. It was peculiar. But the absolute worst was the view from our patio - it overlooked a large pink wall about three meters away from our faces. Talk about a room with a view! Plus, it was quite loud there in the evenings as some people kept on throwing loud parties (other property). It was not all so bad - but this wall view was irritating me to no end. You might want to make sure that you are not given a room in the second building! Very bad standard. Three stars out of five - because of the food and the pools.

"Not for a lads holiday"
morgt007, 11 Avril 2017

I would recommend this hotel to older people that are looking for a chilled out holiday. This hotel is not for group of friends as you can't really be noisy without a member of staff coming to talk to you. I also feel this is not a hotel for a family because it doesn't offer any family based activity. All in all this hotel has two great swimming pools with a built in bar which is very good. The hotel rooms are very clean. And the food is average. I feel this hotel should have a age limit because if they don't want young boys and girls coming in drunk and noisy then they are in the wrong place because Zante is a popular party place to go.

"Had a great stay but would probably choose another destination/hotel if I was to visit Zakynthos again "
twinny_steph, 24 Février 2017

Positives: Hotel is very clean with maids cleaning rooms/changing bedding every day. Pool area very clean (saw it being cleaned quite regularly). Lovely pool bar to sit at and enjoy drinks. Plenty of sun beds when we were there. Very close to Laganas night life if this is what you're after. Within walking distance. Also within walking distance of the beach. Food really nice and really can't complain about it. Could have a little bit more choice I think but I say this about most hotels, other than the 5* ones I've stayed at. Staff were pleasant enough EXCEPT the reception lady who always seemed to have an attitude problem. We just tried to not let it bother us, though. The young lad on the lobby bar inside was always a good laugh, as was the pool bar guy, too (forgotten their names unfortunately!) There is a quad bike rental shop just across from the hotel (back entrance) so the 4 of us (me and my boyfriend went on holiday with another couple) hired them for 3 days and they were the highlight of our holiday because we used them to explore the whole of Zakynthos island and visit other beaches/resorts. There were some breathtaking views along the way! Very good day rates to hire them as well! Negatives: The indoor lobby/bar area was quite cold of a night time (I'm convinced they left the air con on in the evening) so my 'holiday clothes' didn't keep me warm enough whilst enjoying a drink - take a cardigan or something on the safe side! The evening entertainment was a bit lame but, again, I really wasn't expecting much anyway because I find hotel entertainment to be quite boring generally. Mainly older singers performing boring songs I'd never heard of in my life. Certainly seen better entertainment elsewhere, I must admit. The hotel is very close to Laganas which is the main party area for drunken teenagers etc. I love a drink and dance myself and I'm not usually fussy where I go but even this place was a bit scruffy for my liking. You get a lot of youngsters in the area who are mainly (I assume) just out to get drunk, so if you're after something more upmarket/without riff-raff then don't stay here (when I say 'youngsters' I mean late teens; I'd still consider myself young at 26 when I visited here but the immaturity you get from some of the late teens when drunk is something I can't tolerate anymore!). Alternatively, if you want a nice hotel, stay here by all means but maybe hire the quad bikes like we did and just go elsewhere on some evenings, or get a taxi to other areas. Overall, a really nice, clean hotel with good enough food and friendly staff, on the whole, but if I were to go to Zakynthos again I'd stay either in the Tsilivi area or by Banana Beach (two gorgeous resorts/beaches!)

"Do not stay here."
jwt16, 08 Février 2017

Terrible hotel, staff are not friendly and we're horrible! the food is bad and they restrict the all inclusive. By far one of the worst hotels i have stayed in. It is quite far from the strip and it feels like you are being watched by the staff all the time. Ruined my holiday.

"Best hotel we have ever stayed in!"
Jayne O, 01 Novembre 2016

Beautiful hotel, spotless, and so friendly and welcoming We would definitely recommend this hotel, and we will most definitely go back. Close to the beach, and all the shops, the main strip is far enough away for tranquility, but close enough for a stroll Beautiful island

"Fantastic experience"
lenoocka, 18 Octobre 2016

Although not a 5 star by accepted international standards, our stay at this clean, well appointed, and very professionally managed property was perfect in every regard. Food was well prepared, nicely presented, and always fresh and hot (or cold). What really stood out, though, was the consistently excellent service from--without exaggeration--every single department. Not once, in seven days, was any request, no matter how trivial, met with any response except a warm, friendly smile and 'of course, we're happy to help you'.

"More than 5*****"
Andrew d, 04 Octobre 2016

I'm a single traveler, the standard of cleanliness is out of this world, from the rooms to reception, the food is hot and the variety is 2nd to none, the staff are a credit to the Best Western group of hotels. Not cheap but you must pay for quality. I'm staying for 4 weeks 2/3 hear and 2/1 week at their sister hotel the Galaxy (sea front location) quality quality quality.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

"Enjoyable Stay"
Joanna G, 29 Septembre 2016

We stayed for 10nights and only returned home today. On first impressions the hotel looked really clean. Once checked in we went for dinner which was lovely. Spent most nights after dinner by the pool bar as the barman was really friendly and he got to know us and took the time to talk to you to see what you had been up to through out the day. The pools were nice but really cold so didn't use them much. The room was lovely and even though it looked onto the road you couldn't hear much noise. The only let down was the pillows as they are really thick and yes I'm being picky!!! The towels were changed twice a day which wasn't expected. The a la carte isn't in a seperate restaurant it's on the grass beside the pool. The food was good and there was always something that you could eat. All in all a really nice relaxed hotel and Zante itself is a lovely island.

"This hotel looked like it was one of the best on the island it also has a sister hotel called the Galaxy."
Russell F, 26 Septembre 2016

This hotel was beautiful lovely food lots of selections of drink,it was spotless clean anything you wanted you just asked and they would try do it for you,I would not go in the height of the season as lots of younger people and students go as has a busy strip for the younger genereration beautiful sea ,the only thing wrong was after eleven o'clock you had to pay for drinks.this hotel also has rooms with pools with the room.

"1 week"
User, 25 Septembre 2016

Nice hotel clean pool area very nice. Food is not 5 star which ok all inclusive is not the best but this is the biggest let down . Talking to locals the cooks find it frustrating cooking with what they are given . Usually just have breakfast and lunch and have our evening meal out as there are some reasonable places locally to eat . Lack of entertainment too not really much for children to do

"Stylish hotel - terrible location"
Ultimate_Hourglass, 18 Septembre 2016

We stayed in this hotel after our holiday company overbooked the first week of our holiday in our original hotel. At first we were horrifled because we had booked a very quiet, traditional Greek hotel and found ourselves being transported to the noise and anti social behaviour epicentre of the island, Laganas. Fortunately the hotel is 3 streets away from "the strip" which we were able to avoid. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach but, sadly, the beach is horrendous. We only went on it for a short walk and had to get off asap. The sand is grey and compact from sheer volume of people. It's very noisy and grimy with music, discos, bars, fast food and drunken young people. As far removed from the Greek experience as you get. If this is what you want, then you'll love it, if not then don't go to the beach. We were in an upper floor room at the front of the hotel. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable - but noisy some nights from the bars across the road. The two pools are lovely, but there is no children section so, if you like swimming then be prepared to be constantly dive bombed as you try to swim - there's an absence of manners and etiquette from many guests at this hotel sadly. There are no clear rules for pool use (as there are in the UK), and there is no lifeguard (as you would have in many other 5 star hotels). We went half board and heard lots of people complaining about the all inclusive being overpriced and very limited. Half board was good for us and there is a shop and a great restaurant across the road for drinks and lunch. There are always enough sunbeds - no need to reserve. The grounds are very pleasant. The staff are pleasant enough and very friendly. The food is not great- especially for vegetarians. It's basic and not what I would class as that of a 5 star hotel. But eating meals outside near the pool was a nice experience. We stayed at the hotel for a week until we moved to our other hotel. Due to the horrendous location of the hotel, we remained in the hotel and grounds for the entire week. We did not feel stir crazy and felt comfortable, as the hotel is a pleasant environment, chilled out and classy. I was pleased to only be there for a week though due to the location.

"Decent enough"
monkaspen, 15 Septembre 2016

Stayed here early August as a couple. Pool is excellent and the surrounding area is very clean and well kept. Sits beside the restaurant which serves good fresh food and always something tasty and different to the norm. Room was on the small side for a 10 day stay but clean the bed was very comfy. Had a balcony that looked on to the side road which we preferred as the ones looking out to the pool are quite open and not very private. Checking in at reception is quite confusing as no previous mention of deposit for this and that. Talked with other guests who were over in the other building which apparently has nice rooms but is across the road and a bit of a pain I would think if you just want to nip back to the room for something.....try and get in the main building if you can. Many different nationalities which adds to the holiday and the general staff are very pleasant. Short walk to the beach and some decent restaurants close by. The Canadian bar across the road is great for chat and the guys run a very good bar and motel type thing. No complaints really other then the beer is a bit weak on the all inclusive package but hey ho....just drank gin and tonic at the swim up bar instead....still free and the bar men were good crack. If you get the chance hire a moped (about 120 euros for the week) and travel round the island ...it is beautiful and the roads are pretty easy. Went down the strip for a night and although we are a bit passed that stage it was entertaining although don't go if you are easily offended by noise and hyper teenagers and especially if you want to mother all the young kids who are drunk and cant find their pals......it would be a 24/7 job. :) All in all a good holiday and Zakynthos is now ticked off the list......will try Croatia next I think. oh....and the wi-fi needs sorted...not the best

"Had very nice time "
tomas s, 06 Septembre 2016

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. Enjoyed the stay. Big plus for Receptionists as they managed to exchange room for us. Nice and quite hotel. Live music and Greek evening very interesting. And also close to the beach and city center. Planning to come back next year.

"Disappointing"
Brinzoi D, 18 Août 2016

It was our 2nd year at this hotel but I think it will be the last. When we arrived (5 families) the black hair receptionist told us that we have 4 rooms in the other building and 1 in the first one. We knew that the conditions are not the same there and we refuse that rooms. Anyway, it was a money problem...after 50€ the main building had more free rooms for us....she has to be fired because we sow the same problem at others groups. The blond one was kind and last year we talk with her and everything was ok. They became a 5 stars hotel, wich include a kids pool, a new bar and a bigger space. In one day the house keeper forgot to clean and at my room in every moring they talk a lot and very loud, I tought that I will kill them. The barmen were greate people, kind and friendly and the food was awesomeeee, the best, fresh and variet. I hope for the beauty of this hotel and for the food that it ofers you will make somne changes about your staff!

"Fantastic Time"
keithsmith1966, 18 Août 2016

Just returned from Zanta park 8th /16th August and I can honestly say what a wonderful time we all had nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The food was very nice. Sunday night was Greek night and they did a BBQ with dancers. FANTASTIC atmosphere great hotel and staff.. THANKYOU. although the one and only downside no entertainment on a night for the kids that where there enjoying there holiday. Regards Mr K.S

"One of the best choice in Zante"
GianniDF, 17 Août 2016

We had a great week in Zante and we stayed in one of the best properties of the island. Strength - swimming pool with jacuzzi. Every hotel has a pool but this is def one of the biggest - room with view and private swimming pool - location: walking distance to the Main Street of Laganas and to Laganas beach - Pool bar with open bar: very comfortable. You can have your beer right sit inside the pool chairs with the water on your legs To be improved (our suggestion) - sound proof of the rooms - quality of food - size of the gym - mattress: maybe only the ones of our room :) Ciao!

"Lovely hotel / pools but only if your a young English teenagers "
dornafield, 31 Juillet 2016

We were sent here by jet2 as our hotel in tsivili was overbooked. Beautiful hotel the highlight of it are the new pools swim up bar and the brand new restaurant with outside eating area . Our room was pool facing with a lovely view and swim up rooms were just below us , we were all inclusive and the food was lovely I must say drinks were nice but not branded they were an extra charge . Beach is a 5 minute walk , As I said the hotel is lovely but on arrival we were disappointed in the area laganos as its full of young groups of girls / lads . We were the only English couple at the hotel other than the English groups and polish family's . The groups were banging on doors / shouting along corridors on a night , which became a pain in the end , it's such a shame as Thomas cook are spoiling this family hotel with sending groups of young lads / girls as its situated just a 10 min walk to the strip . The staff are fantastic at this hotel especially the bar guys and the chef ?? . Overall this is a lovely hotel not sure if it deserves a 5 star rating though . Just the area laganos and mainly drunken groups that go here makes us not want to return to the area again.

"Quality, and more than what we needed!"
Jack C, 25 Juillet 2016

Came here recently with 6 mates. Lovely hotel, very clean, great facilities, friendly staff and amazing food! A lot better than we all expected, and a lovely atmosphere around the hotel. Different selection of meals throughout the day, with buffet style layout, can have as much as you want, with a lot of selection! With refillable drinks to with the meal, every one went down a treat! 2 pools are lovely, one is much more relaxed and deep, and the other was usually busy, with a pool bar on, which was great! Rooms were modern, basic, but had all the essentials you need! Free access to Wifi which the staff make sure you get codes of apon arrival. Overall, lovely chilled out vibe within the hotel, wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else in Zanté. Would definitely recommend.

"The rudest staff and false advertisement"
Kodierogers, 18 Juillet 2016

Went to this hotel with 6 other girls, we were aware of it being a family hotel and were very respectful but because of our age (18) were treated like scum. The cleaners would walk in without knocking and refuse to leave, we asked the receptionist about the where abouts of things and were completely ignored, were told a safe was included - 20 euros per room!! And had to pay €50 deposit which we were not told about,This hotel was not worth £680. Our friends air conditioner didn't work and the receptionist lied and said they got someone to fix it and didn't, our shower broke, we didn't get robes and slippers even though we asked the receptionist for them, the only decent people there was the bar man at the pool- very polite. We were also told to go and change for dinner even though we were fully clothed and wearing normal clothes... It also isn't any entertainment or lifeguard. So please don't waste your money or time on this hotel, especially if you're a young group looking for a nice holiday!!

"Lads holiday"
Brandon W, 12 Juillet 2016

Stayed here in a group of 5 lads in the first week of July, it's one of the nicest hotels in the area, we wanted to have a nice place to relax during the day and to be close enough to the night life and this ticked both boxes. It is a walk from the strip but only 10-15 minutes, plus taxis aren't expensive. The rooms where nice, modern with kettle, tv, balcony, shower and bath. The only problem was the cleaners didn't clean they just made the bed and opened the curtains, floor was dirty on the last few days but didn't really bother us. Hotel is amazing most of the staff very friendly especially the guy in the main bar, his name was Javior and he ran the bar on his own 7 days a week and was always happy and polite. The blonde woman on reception was rude every time we spoke to her. Food was okay. One day they did Italian themed and it was amazing but the rest was basic and what you expect from all inclusive. Drinks where served in decent size cups, bar staff will let you get your friends drinks once he knows where you are even though they're told 1 drink per person. Wifi was free, worked better in certain area, air con was free and very good, safe was €20 per week Overall an amazing holiday only a couple of faults but as far as Zante goes I would 100% recommend this hotel, there were even couples and families staying in the hotel, as long as you respect that and don't smash the place up, you will be okay.

"Ruined our holiday"
Joel W, 08 Juillet 2016

We arrived here on the 26th June for 7 nights with 11 of our friends all having paid £600 each. I have never been in a hotel that discriminated customers because of their age. Upon arriving we were greeted by a mardy reception staff and had a lecture by the night guard on the things we can't do. After the first night we already had a warning saying we would be kicked out if we disturbed any other hotel users, even though nobody had complained as all the people near us were similar groups. The night receptionist is just argumentative, so I found it easier to not even look at the guy after a few nights. The poor attitude from these receptionists continued until when we were leaving, when a pleasant lady kindly helped us with our bags. The bar men were lovely, although he stated that the manager had told him only to give each person one drink at the bar, that's a good hotel policy, however whenever any other person went to the bar who wasn't in our group, they would walk off with 4 drinks. Again because we were young and just having a laugh playing games in the pool. The whole place is covered in cameras so you just feel like your on Big Brother after a night out. The food was alright but it was the same sort of dishes everyday and just got boring. If anyone's looking for a place to stop with your friends to go out and have a laugh then I'll advise you not to stop here because the hotel isn't for that. We all went on a holiday last year and stopped in a 3 star hotel which was a much better experience than this so called 5 star. The staff's attitude sucked compared to our last one and I just felt on edge all the time. If the hotel didn't want people like us in the hotel then why accept the booking? We were so close to downgrading to self catering accommodation because of the problems we faced.

"Amazing "
donnajenkinson, 06 Juillet 2016

This hotel is amazing beautiful clean rooms . The canadian bar opposite is also amazing . Great food great staff only let down was alcohol weren't nice in hotel drank every day in the canadian bar . Pool was clean and water was warm . 2 min walk to beach every thing was amazing gym sauna trips everything amazing

"Not worth the money paid"
Jamie S, 04 Juillet 2016

Visited for a week and wasn't happy with the stay at all really: majority of the food was the same everyday, security and the man on the night shift was completely ignorant, half of the staff didn't smile or talk once and we had to pay for drinks at the bar after 11pm which was meant to be 'all inclusive'

"The staff make this hotel what it is... except the chef"
BSTony, 01 Juillet 2016

Decent location and pleasant rooms and environment. The pool is deeper than usual and only suitable for good swimmers... the kids pool next to it is fine for weaker swimmers. The food was really not great from the buffet. None of the meals were inspirational and the students on our school trip mostly chose to eat outside the restaurant, though the all inclusive option does appear to offer value for money if you are able to enjoy a drink. Chrystos, the night receptionist was the best of the staff, very conscientious about his work and a real pleasure to speak to.

"Best Hotel in Zante! Deff 4 stars!!"
bigrs, 17 Juin 2016

Booked with Thomas cook for June and spent 4 days here which i paid 115 quid for all inclusive for me and my partner. Having seen that Thomas Cook rate this hotel 4 stars and 50metres from the beach I was a bit unsure what to expect but this did not let me down. Amazing pools, jacuzzi, bars and food! The food was authentic greek food but had english dishes too and was different every day. The snacks were authentic greek sandwiches and the cocktails and alcohol was all local and lovely! The reception staff varied and some were very helpful, most but one or two were not very helpful. I liked the fact that our room was cleaned twice a day too and the general people who stayed at this hotel were very friendly. This hotel is 5 mins from the strip so a perfect location and 3 mins from the beach! i would stay here again

"Fantastic hotel!"
np1311, 14 Juin 2016

We stayed here from 6th - 10th June 2016 for a short relaxing break and it was absolutely perfect - when we arrived at the hotel the staff were extremely welcoming and quickly got us checked into our room which was great as we had been travelling through the night. When we walked in our room we were more than pleased with it - a gorgeous style with a lovely bathroom (robes and slippers included) and a gorgeous view from the balcony overlooking the pool. We had no trouble booking in the hotel for one extra night and were able to keep the same room which was very good. We paid for all inclusive, when usually do this on holiday we still have at least one meal out, however at this hotel the food was so delicious and such a variety we felt there was no need to!! We enjoyed cocktails in the day at the poolside bar, and when we had a lay in we were able to have the snack selection of cakes/biscuits and sandwiches when we missed breakfast. The pools were very clean and not too busy, as well as being able to get a sun lounger every day despite getting up later some mornings. Very picturesque too. Wi-Fi was free and accessible both in our room, the eating area and by the pool which is a great thing in this day and age. We also had a TV, kettle and hairdryer in the room which was handy. Avijol in the main bar on the evening was very friendly and helpful in suggesting places down the strip to go to, and made us the lovely cocktails! Would recommend the Best Western Zante Park hotel to anybody, and we would definitely look at visiting again!

"Dave and Lisa 4 boys"
dmcgoff, 13 Juin 2016

Wonderful hotel clean and tidy beautiful rooms stayed in the main part. The recent refurbishment must be the pool area where there is now a child friendly pool no deeper than 1.2 metres. Stayed all inclusive food was good always something to eat. Snacks in the day was sandwiches but if you've had breakfast and lunch and dinner who wants a snack! Entertainment every other night was good especially Greek night. Stayed with partner and 4 boys aged 11-18 needed to entertain them so booked scuba diving with eurodivers 50 euros each money well spent . Water park in tisvili great value for money stayed there all day and last thing definitely hire a speed boat 90 euros 4 hours is long enough went to turtle island trip around the bay and spotted a couple of turtles no need to book a boat trip do your own . Last thing my 11 year old left his laptop in the safe a week later I phoned up and they found it in the safe they couldn't be nicer and are sending it to me the staff are so honest and helpful.

"Lovely hotel"
Helen I, 13 Juin 2016

A group of 16 stayed here 5th-12th june. Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are lovely. Comfy beds, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, plenty of clean towels and even a robe and slippers. This hotel is in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk frim the strip so no late night noise. The pools and pool bar are lovely and there are plenty of sunbeds and outdoor seating. The food was really nice and plenty of choice for everyone. All in all a great hotel and we would definitely go back.

"A fantastic hotel for couples and families"
Jacq B, 12 Juin 2016

Ignore the negative reviews. My partner and I just spent the most relaxing week here! The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and modern with a great pool view. There was plenty of food to choose from at breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, some days it was much better than others. There were no days where we couldn't both find something to eat and enjoy. Drinks were lovely and cold, but if you fancied a change of scenery there are so many beautiful bars and restaurants within minutes of walking. We would stay here again within a second.

"Beautiful hotel, ready to book again for next year!"
KellyjandMarkw, 01 Juin 2016

Completely disagree with recent reviews. Each to their own but we travelled here as two adults (35-40) and a 3 year old child from the UK. Flight times are not ideal but being only 10 mins bus ride from the airport, no lengthy transfers. The hotel has been refurbished and the photos on most posts seem to be old ones. It is modern, clean and attractive in appearance compared to all we have seen in the area. The choice of food has been excellent. Buffet style suits us as a family and in hot weather, we wouldn't expect sit down restaurant services you might get back home in a 5 star hotel. For breakfast, there is everything you would expect to suit international tastes, lovely coffee (even if from a machine). For lunch and evening meals, there is always a soup, fresh salad options, fish, pasta and other meat options. The choice of vegetables has been great and all cooked as we like them. During the day, the swim up bar serves envy thing you need and draft beer and drinks are available. Wrapped sandwiches and ice creams are available as part of the all inclusive deal. We feel like all we have done is eat but have enjoyed it all. The room is lovely with great decor, hair dryer, tea/coffee facility, mini bar with very reasonably priced items. The road some refer to is a quiet back street so hardly any traffic to worry about. The clientele were not old this week, rather a mix of all ages. Maybe different out of season. If I had any feedback of something to change, it would be the music. Each day is different but it repeats and if around the pool all day, it's nice to hear different things. Also the reception staff were polite but not engaging. We don't know anyone by name as no one really interacts in a special way. Not rude but not working either. Professional and polite. The spa is highly recommended with treatments not too expensive - similarly to proces in the UK. Away from the music strip so no unwanted evening noise. Supermarket less than 100yards away so nibbles and eat can be bought cheaply nearby. Others bars nearby if a change is wanted. Looking at booking again next year as enjoyed it so much.

"Could be better, average 3 stars hotel"
Martyna M, 25 Mai 2016

According to our travel agency, this is a 5star hotel. Unfortunately I would give it no more than 3 stars only. + The service is not bad (smiling and English speaking), rooms are cleaned every day, WIFI works, but the rest.. - All Inclusive option is really really poor. Everyday you will have a "pleasure" to eat the same, there is catering (they don't cook at the hotel) what means the food is either cold or overcooked. There is no fresh fruit, no coffee, no water, no tablecloth. Big disappointment. The baar service is really slow, sometimes we had to wait 30min for someone to come and prepare us "drinks" - The hotel area is in construction. You will be woken up at 8am by a cement mixer I will not be back..

"wonderful holiday"

where to start, all of the staff everywhere were 1st class, very freindly, always happy, very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Bedroom, 1st class well furnished, plenty of wardrobe & drawer space, & tea & coffee making facilities also a small fridge very handy for water. Bathroom toiletries supplied, slippers & soft bathrobe , also if you have the courage to use them!! bathroom scales all as at home. forgot the beds were the most comfortable we have had in over 40 years of travelling. outside: 2 large swimming pools one with bar to enjoy a cool drink in the water & whirlpool also quite large, plenty of sunbeds & tables & chairs & lawns really nice gardens. dining room very nice as well you can eat in or out on terrace, food was well cooked & of good quality only downside for us is that it wasnt warm enough but at least plates were hot & no microwave having said that though it was really nice, upstairs bar & lounge also really nice and drinks were excellent served just as you ask for them, do not know what entertainment is like as it was the 1st 12 days of opening when we were there so not organised. we were in room 224 lovely view over the pool & nice & quiet. about 4 mins walk to beach which was lovely the water was quite warm for early season so lovely to walk along into the town area. would love to return here.

If you want a 2.8m swimming pool.If you want to starve and have to go to eat somewhere else even with the all inclusive meal.If you want a family member to get ran over to cross the busy road to get to the main hotel this is the place for you It had positives though nice staff nice gym but really not a family holiday.

"Perfect location for all things Zante!"
Bryony123, 10 Janvier 2016

This hotel is a walk from the main strip which meant you could have the peaceful days away from the noise of the party town. It was also quiet of a night time if you weren't there to party hard. The food was ok. Typical Greek all inclusive. There was variety everyday but always served with the standard chips or rice. But it was always hot and tasted pretty good. Cocktails were amazing! Avijol was in charge of the bar and certainly knew how to make a good cocktail. These were available pretty much all day if you wanted to take advantage of the booze! The rooms were spacious and clean. We did have a slight issue with ants but we weren't too fussed. The beach was a walkable distance. We did it a couple of times but we were more than happy with the pool and there were ample sun loungers for everyone. All the guests were friendly and there was a real community spirit amongst us all throughout the week. A massive range of people there from elderly couples relaxing, to stag parties doing all they could to embarrass each other! But it wasn't overbearing and the hotel was large enough that no group took over. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are wanting to dip into the nightlife of laganas but have bit more reserved evenings other times!

"Perfect vacation!"
Diana R, 06 Janvier 2016

The room was fantastic, the food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The towels and lingerie was changed every single day and the bathroom was also cleaned everyday. The pool looked awesome and it was cleaned every morning as we saw during our breakfast. At the reception you were informed that every night, by the pool or at the lobby, are different types of events. I remember that one night in the lobby was a presentation of the famous Caretta-Caretta turtles organised by a rescue organisation or something like that. We also went to a Greek night, which was very entertaining. We didn't attend so much events because every morning we visited different parts of the island and we were arriving at the hotel very late. Although there was music (classic music) at the pool even by midnight, if you close the window and the door it will be quiet and you'll be able to sleep. We didn't turn on the air-conditioning by night, so the temperature is a cozy one. The hotel is not to far from the beach. It's surrounded by different stores and restaurants. We had only the half-board so we ate lunch at the Apollon Restaurant that's just across the street from the hotel. I strongly recommend this restaurant. There is only 1 waiter that served us and he was so sweet and helpful. He always served us with cocktails and fresh fruits after our meal and we didn't have to pay for those. I was just amazed! A big dish (yes, i said big) that contained chicked, potatoes, rice, and salad is about 7-8€. I also recommend the fresh juice and the salads. Food here is just amazing. If you want to visit Zante Town, you should ask for information at the reception desk. Stores are closed most part of the day, so be careful when you want to do that trip. The weather is great in august. When you're at the beach everything is great but when you're getting closer to the hotel it starts getting hot. The beach that's just 2 min away from the hotel is a large one. Great sand in and out of the water (which is soooo warm and clear).

Flew 23.45 tues overnight. Friendly and helpful reception. Ground floor apartment was across road and without windows. Had 2 cross quiet road to get to pool area and bar/restaurant. Service overall good. Food varied from mediocre to good. Generally older clientele. Fairly quiet hotel, well away from party section. Sadly holiday spoilt by Skytours who counted night on aeroplane as 1st night in resort! We were denied room from 12 noon on day BEFORE departure, leading to very uncomfortable night in hotel reception, prior to collection in the early hours to go to airport. If you have any dealings with Skytours please check details VERY CAREFULLY. Also, quickest way to beach is turn right out of the gates. Beach is few hundred yards at end of that street!

Restaurant staff Nickos & Tina were so helpful esp Nickos who always had a smile for everybody even though sometimes sadly to say customers were horrible to him! They both worked so very heard especially as it was the last week the Hotel was open for customers. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was lovely and we had plenty of choice despite what other reviewers have written. Thanks to Mgr Danni who was so professional and good at dealing with problems she had, also to the Chef, Reception and the barman, great job and very demanding and the gardner.Hotel, pool gardens, spotless food bar pool snacks great and very fresh, lovely cake made every day and fresh rolls. CEO Mgr Christina ? in Athens should be advised of her amazing staff at her Hotel in Zante. Would recommend it to everybody and wou;ld love to come back

We stayed in this hotel 26th Aug - 6th Sept Best holiday I've ever been on. Don't listen to bad reviews on food because they are a load of rubbish. I'm very fussy about food when it comes to going abroad but there was not 1 meal I didn't like. So much flavour in every meal, something for everyone! Snack bar was also lovely with a variety of drinks, sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and ice cream. Rooms were spotless all the time, very clean. Pool was perfect. I actually got in due to it not feeling like the artic. Lovely to get in to cool down but not freezing so you couldn't enjoy it. They also put free lilos in the pool for you. Sun loungers were really comfy. Lovely shops nearby and people are friendly. 4 minutes maximum walk to the beach and the sea is warm too! Lovely bars on the seafront too, Strip is about 10 mins away so you hear no noise. You want fun then go to cocktails and dreams, you can't miss it on the strip. Staff are friendly We got good friends with the bar tender Aviol who often joined us on our nights out which was fab. Oh and turtle bay is worth the trip. I could go on but you get the idea of this hotel being perfect, I will definitely return. BEST HOLIDAY EVER

"Great hotel"
TIJTBristol, 21 Octobre 2015

Had a great time at this hotel. We arrived late and when we were told at reception that we were in annex I was disappointed and grew quite anxious when we were taken in the dark along what seemed like a main road. However, our room was spacious and well appointed with the added benefit of a bath as well as shower. The décor was modern. The room was cleaned everyday. Lovely balcony overlooking a planted area and the quiet pool of a neighbouring property. Lovely pool area and well served by bar with self-serve soft drinks, coffee and snacks and serviced bar for other beverages. The evening bar was a lovely modern area and the barman was a delightful ambassador for the hotel. Drinks were fine. Restaurant lacked some ambiance in evenings - would be nice to have some areas with softer lighting for evening meals if inclined to romance! Food offered was a good choice and well presented. Restaurant staff were accommodating and friendly. Good location with short walk to shops and beach. Would revisit and would recommend.

"Brilliant hotel."
Rebecca W, 01 Octobre 2015

Just come back from a lovely holiday in Laganas and loved this hotel! Perfect for couples. Reception/Staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient. They were quick to sort out any problem we had, usually within 24hours! Food was great for (non fussy) meat eaters, selection of beef, chicken, lamb and pork, but very little for vegetarians, although can't knock this hotel specifically because that's expected with all inclusive. Although there was chips available every night, it was mostly greek food, but that's expected when you're in Greece! Room was a great size and in good condition, cleaned to perfection every day. Only issue is that the balcony barely got any sun due to positioning. Pool area was clean and had plenty of chairs/sun loungers. Location couldn't be more perfect for those who aren't fussed about being in the middle of everything that's going on. 2min walk to the beach, and 2-10min walk to the strip/restaurant/shops. No day activities and VERY occasional evening entertainment. The safe cost 20euros per week, definitely worth getting. Wi-fi was great in the lounge and by the pool, however cut out when we were in the room. Would definitey come back again!

"Nice visit to zante"
Charlotte J, 30 Septembre 2015

Hotel is very central compared to other hotels we've stayed in at Zante. 5/10 minute walk to the 'main' strip however few minutes from shops/bars and restaurants before hiting the main strip. Clean rooms, all inclusive food is average but most like all places, 17 euro from airport to the hotel, pool area is lovely and rooms are modern. Wouldn't give it a 5 star based on no entertainment. Bar staff are lovely though, i would recommend.

"An excellent hotel with amazing staff and traditional Greek food."
ChristineJones1952, 29 Septembre 2015

The Best Western Zante Park in Laganas is a hotel which you must put on your list to stay at. This was our 2nd visit to this hotel, (11th September) the 1st about 4 years ago and we were pleased then. This time they have made significant changes and we would rate this as a very high 4 star hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with most speaking good English. The restaurant served a high standard of both Greek traditional and a good selection of British food, be prepared to put on a few pounds as its hard to resist the flavours. It was nice to see a casual but respectful dress code for the evening meal. The pool and evening bars had a good selection of drinks with no queues (Stella the girl at the pool bar and Avijol, the cocktail maker in the evening) this young guy is a good laugh. The pool itself and surrounding area was kept very clean with ample sun beds, tables and chairs, also a shaded garden area. Our room was average but very clean, its position and type was what we requested, a high floor and evening sun, most other rooms have good views and are larger. The evening entertainment was better than average but good for most Greek hotels. The hotel is just 5 minutes from a sandy beach with plenty to do. Don't be put off that this is Laganas, a well known party and youngsters resort. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the night life centre so you'll not hear noise at night. We must add that this hotel is great for all ages, quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be back either to this hotel or its sister hotel the Galaxy which is right on the beach and just 10 minutes walk away, we stayed at the Galaxy last year.

"Helpful Staff"
J C, 25 Septembre 2015

We stayed at this hotel middle of September, this was a last minute holiday we have never been to Zante before. The hotel has two areas the main hotel and across the road, we were across the road the room was a little dated, but it was very large and clean, I wouldn't class it as a 4 star room maybe a 3 star. We went all inclusive and the food was average, you only have the one restaurant. The holiday was cheap so I wasn't expecting. The two ladies on reception were very nice and helpful and the lad at the bar was always happy and quite happy to chat to all the customers I would give him 10/10 I'm glad we went in September as we would of hated it any other time as Laganas is more for younger people.
