Nice and small hotel. It has accessible parking and is easy to find. The staff works hard and is available at all times. Always in a good mood and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. They also have a sauna and a fitness room.

Front desk manager was kind, willing and able to accommodate our needs. His English was very good. Nice clean rooms, lobby, and dining areas. Near the airport as well as the bus stop to city center.

A very nice hotel in a quiet location and very easily accessible. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I definitely recommend it. The breakfast is also varied and delicious.

It is a very good hotel. It is only 10-15 minutes away from airport without any traffic. The room was clean and big. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly. In terms of price and quality , this is one of those perfect matches.

We stayed overnight here before catching a plane home to SFO. Despite few eating options in this part of town the staff went to extra effort to find us a place that accepted credit cards. The rooms were large and clean but maybe a bit dated. Comfortable beds and decent wifi in the hotel. Would bo back as its very close to the airport in Zagreb.

Had one night in this hotel, receptionist was rude and not friendly, the facility itself is old and over consumed, the gym was very small and very old not functioning equipments The place is far from city center and can't be reached without a car

The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel very average but it was not as advertised. I needed to fly out at 6am so I booked what was a close hotel with a shuttle. There was no shuttle, the cab took a very long time and while relatively close its not within the area. Also there was no food nearby so I had to take a cab to get dinner. I am unsure if there are other choices but there should be one. Note the cab price was $25 to the airport.

Our family stayed overnight after a late flight arrival. Location was perfect from the airport. The room was clean and our children loved the loft. I slept so well. Breakfast was tasty with a variety of warm and cold foods. Would recommend to anyone.

Good quality hotel according to Best Western standard. The hotel seems new. Everything Is in perfect condition. The room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast has a good choice and quality. Nice people at the reception. Big free parking.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free breakfast. Dinner is order out, Fried Squid was on point! Most hotels were closed and I was lucky to find this gem. Awesome stay. I recommend this hotel to all.

We stayed overnight in Zagreb to catch a flight the next morning to the US. The only catch was the crazy expensive cab fare of close to $50 from the airport to the hotel. They do have Uber which we should have done for a bit less. Luckily the hotel will take you to the airport for considerably less - about $15 - sign up at the front desk. The rooms are basic. Our room had two very small twin beds reminiscent of Paris size beds but the room was a decent size as was the bathroom (small shower but good pressure). Breakfast buffet at 7 but we left too early to assess. Staff very pleasant. Closer to the airport than downtown Zagreb. Interestingly a 15 minute drive here but much quicker back to the airport. Not sure why but we checked the cabs route and it was the most direct. Overall good for an overnight.

We chose this hotel as we have stayed here before previous year. Great hotel and great location near the airport. 10 min drive. Downtown zagreb is only 15 minutes away with the car in case you want to go sightseeing .

The clerks at the desk were extremely helpful and accommodating. Wonderful European breakfast. Very nice room with a comfortable bed and nice washroom. I was not a fan of the "all in one" squeeze soap they had in the washroom sink and shower- I prefer a fresh soap as I find this more sanitary. This was my only critique.

Easy to find next to high ways. Quiet place good breakfast. There is refrigerator in room but no minibar because anything you want is at reception. Not sow way to go in downtown but there are taxis if you need.

We stayed one night at the Stella prior to an early departure. The hotel is convenient, the staff friendly and helpful, the hotel provides a shuttle service to the terminal. The one concern is that access to the hotel is a bit awkward due to recent road construction. It would help to have clearer signage, but we will definitely stay there again if future travel originates in ZAG.

Good place to stay if you want to be close to the airport. Friendly staff, good breakfast. The room was clean and spacious. The only drawback is that if you want to go out and eat, you must use some form of transport. Not much around. But, if you want you can easily find public transport to and from the city.

We stayed here the night before our flight home, and the location was very convenient. The staff was extremely accommodating, and very helpful. Highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again, the rooms were good and the breakfast buffet was also very good.

This is a small but fresh hotel located close to the airport. Check in was a bit slow but staff was friendly and nice to talk to. The lobby is small but there's some space to sit down together and chat. The room was clean and the size of it was OK. The interior was appealing and it had everything that I need such as bed, desk, wardrobe, safety box etc. Visited the gym which was OK, not a a lot of equipment but as I was there by myself it was enough. Breakfast opens at 6.30 which is a bit late for being an airport hotel so it's not possible to eat breakfast before catching your early flight. The distance to the airport is 12-15 minutes by car.

Hotel was close to airport so I chose it. Glad I did. Staff was accommodating, many staff members speak English, room and hotel is Very clean. The shuttle service to airport is great for anyone specially that does not speak the local language to hail a cab. Im very pleased with this hotel.

During the past few months, I've stayed at Best Western Hotel Stella on multiple occasions. Every single time, staff was very welcoming. helpful and willing to meet desired wishes. Breakfast and room services were really good. Hotel is located on the outskirts of the city in a quiet area, very close to the Motorway and Airport.

We landed at Zagreb airport and took an Uber to the hotel. Five mins drive. Checkin quick and efficient. Room extremely quiet and had a great night's sleep. Bus 268 takes you into town from the stop about 250m away and only costs 4HKR, provided you buy it from the kiosk. Buying on board the bus costs 15HKR. Mini bar well stocked and very cheap! Breakfast was excellent and desk staff very helpful and efficient. I cannot imagine a better place to begin a visit to Croatia

Convenient hotel for an overnight stay near Zagreb's airport. Quick and expedient check in and out by helpful reception staff who will also arrange for shuttle transportation to the airport (for 2 persons the price is about half of the cost of a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel). Clean and comfortable room and decent breakfast buffet.

The Best Western Hotel Stella is a decent 3 Star hotel not far from the airport that for us was perfect for a quick overnight stay before flying home. After a stellar Dalmatian Coast 2+ week trip, we were required to stay overnight in Zagreb before catching our international flights home. The hotel lobby/bar area was very clean, check in was easy and friendly. Our room was very fresh and clean. Sufficient enough for a one night stay with an early morning transfer to the Zagreb airport. We were too tired to go out so we socialized with the friendly bartender who made us cocktails and ordered/served us a really good pizza. We took an early morning efficient shuttle to the airport that cost us <$6 each.

We drove from Ogulin to Zagreb because we had an 8:25 am flight the next morning. We asked the clerk if they had dinners at the hotel because they had many tables with beautiful settings. They said “yes”. Because they said they had dinner and we had to turn in our car we decided to return the car and be done. When we came down a few hours later to get dinner, we were shown a very small cooler with tuna and ham and cheese sandwiches. A gentleman who was at the bar drinking said we could order for delivery at the hotel. Really? Let's see....we were told they had dinner, returned our car, and ended our long day with a tuna sandwich for dinner. Place was very clean, perfect location to the airport, but just be warned.....no food on site.

Although it is a few kms from the airport, and the location is kind of industrial with nothing of interest around it, this hotel was perfectly adequate for one night before flying out. The staff were excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. Dinner options are quite limited and ordered by staff from an external supplier as the hotel restaurant doesn't operate in the evening, but the pizzas we had were tasty. Surprisingly, breakfast turned out to be one of the best we had during our time in Croatia.

The hotel room is good. The breakfasts are good. There is a fitness room, and bikes available to rent (the city centre is within about a 40 minute ride). What made the visit for me was when I came down to use the fitness room, only to find it closed (an electrical fault) - but the helpful desk staff guy allowed me to take out a bike instead. Glad he did that. Tried to use the laundry service, but was told 'the lady isn't here today'. So they don't do laundry every day?? You need to have a car to stay here really - not really a place to walk to other places from. We drove to a nearby shopping mall to find a different restaurant (batak grill).

If you don't feel like staying in the city and need to be near the airport stay here. They also offer a shuttle for 6 euro. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Quiet as well. Good TV, WiFi and AC. Bar is a nice bonuse as well. No restaurant but do check Accubo. It's about 10 min away and local. Great pizza.

This was our second stay in Zagreb at the same hotel. This hotel is conveniently located near the airport and easily accessible by car with free parking. Also, it is walking distance to a bus stop that will take you to central Zagreb! This is a modern hotel was all the amenities you would expect from a BW hotel! Staff is helpful and friendly! and great breakfast selection in the morning!

The hotel is nothing too fancy. However it is clean with comfy bed and quite room. The breakfast in the morning was also good. It is close to the highway which is why I chose it. The young gent at the front desk (night shift) was helpful but he did not mention the tourist tax when I called to check availability and rate. This was not an issue but it's slightly annoying as you check in to be asked for additional fee you did not know about. Anyways, we would stay again in the future.

Near to the ZAGREB airport, it is clean and the breakfast was good too. The reception guy (at the night shift) and the girl (in the next morning shift) helped us with informations about buses to Zagreb downtown.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and weren't disappointed. Nothing fancy, but clean comfortable beds. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was limited -- several kinds of pizza and Chicken or Pork Cordon Bleu. Do NOT choose it if you want to see Zagreb, as it is 10 km from the city center with NOTHING of interest surrounding it, including restaurants!

We only stayed one night but the staff was helpful contacting a cab for us to go into the center of town and answering questions about the area. The room was clean and comfortable, and we especially liked that our room for 3 people had a small alcove for the single bed, so there was some separation from the larger bed rather than the beds right next to each other. View from our room was a basic parking lot. Lobby was comfortable and had a bar and breakfast, and they provided a (paid) shuttle to the airport.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. We arrived by plane at night and instead of a 4-hour drive to our destination we decided to stay near the airport. The rooms we received, we were two families with a baby, were large and clean. Despite the late hour we arrived at the hotel, after midnight we received additional towels and the receptionist managed to get us sandwiches to eat. Breakfast was rich and tasty. All in all an excellent hotel for a night stay

I am not sure if there are closer hotels, but the cab ride to this hotel was about $50 US. I thought it was much closer. However, the hotel was good for one evening and had a decent breakfast. I had an early morning flight so I had to grab some breakfast before it officially started. Bed was fairly comfortable.

Stayed the night at this hotel before our flight and it was great. Quiet. Very cheap for so close and convenient to the airport. Breakfast and shuttle available. They even arranged a special shuttle time just for us because it wasn't too busy. What more can you ask for!? It was a great stop for the night before a trans-Atlantic flight.

The hotel is very nice. Very friendly staff at the front desk as well as the bar. Received great recommendations for local restaurants. Stayed here for four nights. Room is clean, comfortable matrasses and has a refridgerator. Bathroom is spacious and clean. The location is about 10km from the centre of Zagreb and near the airport. Whether this is good or bad depends on your purpose in Zagreb. I was here for business with the office on the outskirts of Zagreb. Therefore it was ideal for me. Center of Zagreb is easily reached by car if you have one or by bicycle which you can rent at the front desk.

This is a good airport hotel but sadly no food service in the evening. You have to send out for it. There is however a nice outside area where you can enjoy a drink. There is a Euro 5 shuttle service to the airport

Stayed at this nice hotel before my flight home. Great services. Nice room. Good breakfast and perfect for parking my car after the self drive holiday in Croatia. Will definitely stay again in my next visit.

Stayed there for a night before a long flight home. The location of the hotel is excellent as it's conveniently located near the brand new airport of Zagreb. The hotel has a fitness center and a sauna, which is nice before the flight. However what distinguishes this hotel from a lot of other comparably priced places is excellent customer service. The owner himself often came out to say hi and the hotels young employees are professional and extremely welcoming. One of the employees (Ivan) was particularly great. Finally, the food- breakfast, which is apparently sourced from local Croatian farmers (which makes me particularly happy) was superb. It puts many US hotels to shame. Overall, this hotel is an international class hotel.

As long as you understand that the hotel is in a very quiet area with almost nothing to do, then you can really appreciate this location for the cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, and modern look. We stayed here on the last night of our trip to be closer to the airport. It just happened to be the Croatian Independence Day that day, which means that almost no restaurants were open. The clerk was very helpful, he knew of one restaurant open in a nearby area and helped us get there.. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a great sleep before jumping on a long flight the next morning. They also have a shuttle bus that goes to the airport.

Good hotel to stay at while visiting Zagreb. Nothing over the top stood out with the Hotel design. Staff was amazing and very helpful with all my questions. Front desk spoke English perfectly. Location was quite far from the center but the bus stop to get there and back was nearby and very very cheap and easy to hop on. Location - Arrived late in the evening and took an uber from the airport to the hotel. It was very cheap given the distance to the hotel. As mentioned above, it is pretty far to the city center but public transportation (Bus) was cheap and close by. Gas station is right across the hotel and had a good variety of snacks and drinks. The bus stop to get to the city is in front of the gas station. I believe it was bus number 168 and the stop is literally called big field (veliko polje) I think that is how its said in Croatian. Staff - Davor assisted me on my check in without any problems. He was very courteous and friendly. Ante was my go to guy during the day. Shout out to him for answering all my questions about Zagreb and transportation. He really helped me get a feel for Zagreb. He was the one that taught me what Veliko Polje means as well. Thank you Ante for everything. Room - Room was spacious. It felt a little gloomy. Maybe it was the theme. If not, the place could use brighter lights and carpets. Room wasn't great but it wasn't bad as well. Wifi - Worked fine throughout my stay. No issues Breakfast - Good breakfast with a variety of options. Overall, for the price I paid, I probably would stay here again. But then again, I would probably try another hotel near the city center. I am 50/50 because the bus was super cheap and convenient to use while staying at the Best Western.

This was a good midway point traveling from the Croatian coast to Vienna. The hotel is on the outskirts of Zagreb and close to the highway. There's not much around it; however, based on a recommendation from the front desk we ate at Stafa's. Very good food and relatively inexpensive. The staff was great - friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Parking is just outside the hotel - doesn't get any easier. We had an upgraded room, which had a small sitting room. The breakfast was very good. The reasons I did not rate this excellent was the semi-isolated location and the plain nature of the rooms.

We stay here every 2-3 years -- either the night before an early flight out of Zagreb, or if arriving late. The quality has remained the same since the place first opened. Very nice decor, extremely clean and well-maintained, quiet. The staff is attentive, professional and friendly. Easy, on-site parking. Perhaps the only downside is the location - essentially, it's in a residential neighborhood with a few auto dealerships sprinkled in. But, it's a quiet area and there is a Konzum within walking distance. I noticed this time that a walking/biking path has been established -- goes right by the hotel and into the center of Zagreb. No time to try it out, but the hotel now keeps bikes for rent right there. Given this and other comments about Uber, it doesn't sound hard to get into town. Great place to stay, I highly recommend.

Its an airport hotel situated about 15 minutes away from the airport. Id score them a 6/10, looking at value for money. They were cheap which was good and had free parking. The two boys at reception were friendly when we checked in at around 19h00. The rooms are not much of a big deal. Low bed, normal night of sleep nothing special. Did not have breakfast as we checked out at 04h00 in the morning. Bathroom felt not cosy at all, felt a bit like a hospital bathroom. Id have scored them 5/10 but because it was rather cheap i give them a 6. All in all not bad if you need to catch a plane in. Will most remember about the hotel: check-in staff. Don't remember the gentlemen's names but both men upon arrival at 19h00. Keep up the good job!

We had a one night stay here awaiting an Air Transat flight back to Toronto. This is a very well run, newish hotel located about a 15 minute cab ride from the airport in Zagreb. Nothing fancy on the outside but the rooms were large the bed very comfortable and your stay includes a free breakfast which was quite extensive and tasty. One note is too use Uber to get to the hotel. Cabs at the airport will tell you it's a 150-200 kuna trip to the hotel but suing Uber was a 40 kuna trip. An excellent option if you need a one night layover in Zagreb.

Middle of knowhere close 2 airport. When you just want to work or sleep it's great. Staff very helpful and good English. Liked the flexibility, not the location and not the pizza menu, although good pizza. Just want some veggies.

We were flying into Zagreb from Dubrovnik to stay one night prior to our departure for the U.S. on the following day. In Dubrovnik, our flight was delayed for 5 hours. We called the Best Western Stella TWICE and confirmed that we would be there, albeit late. They acknowledged our confirmation and stated, "good luck." We finally arrived in Zagreb just prior to midnight and very tired from the delay. We had a flight to the U.S. (via London) the next morning and were looking forward to getting a good night's sleep. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception clerk took a look at our passports and said, "one minute." He proceeded to call someone and speak at length to them in Croatian (which I do not speak). After he hung up, he said that they don't have any rooms available and they would have to arrange rooms at a different hotel. They obviously sold our rooms to other people and were planning on charging us for "late cancellation." This was DESPITE us calling them TWICE to confirm we were still going to be there. Needless to say, I was infuriated. The clerk's only explanation was that it was a "simple mistake." They at least had the courtesy to pay for transportation to the other hotel and pay the difference in rate (after some discussion). DO NOT trust this hotel. I reserved the rooms one month prior to our arrival and confirmed twice on the day of arrival. They still sold our rooms and made our last night in Croatia quite unpleasant.

Nikola at the front desk was fantastic. Very engaging and informative with excellent language skills. Room was good as was value. 10 minute drive to the airport. Early flight before breakfast time but they packed me a sandwich and snack to take with.

The hotel has a good position, not far from the city center, with a lot of parking place and easy to be reached. there is a very nice gym and the breakfast is good. The staff is very polite. If you are staying few days, especially for business, this hotel is perfect. I will be back

We chose Best Western Stella because of its proximity to the airport and we had a flight to catch. It has a good breakfast spread and the rooms are airy and spacious. The staff was very courteous and attentive. It is slightly far from the Old town but since we were renting a car it didn't matter a lot to us.

Nice hotel  with good breakfast , very close to  the Airport  . Few minutes from city center and from Arena & Avenue shopping centers If you did a reservation please be advised that in "Booking" it was a 4 persons room while it was triple room according to the receptionist.

We spent a night at the Hotel Stella after we arrived in Zagreb on a late flight. Reception was efficient and welcoming. Room was clean and spacious, with a single bed neatly tucked away in a corner of the room for our son, meaning he could go straight to sleep without being disturbed by us. WiFi was fast and free, as it should be. Bathroom functional and clean - nothing luxurious but worked well. Breakfast was a plentiful if simple affair. Fresh coffee and juice, bread, pastries, juice etc. The hotel is near major roads but we weren't disturbed at all. There are also cycle routes and some green space. My only word of caution - which is not an issue with the hotel at all - is to be wary of the taxi drivers at the airport. The hotel is a 5-10 minute drive but we later realised our driver had taken us on quite a circuitous route in the dark to inflate TV e fare. Perhaps better to make sure you can use the hotel shuttle or Uber or similar. All in all, a clean, simple choice for an airport stopover.

First day in croatia we arrived very late because the aircraft delayed. When we check in,the room was big and nice. Everything was prepared and the staff was so kind. Next day when we had breakfast at the resturante the food was not so much but they have freash fruit eggs. If you traveled with car. This is a good place to stay for a while.

We booked the hotel for one night - on our return trip from Croatia. We had flight next day and needed one night in Zagreb It turned out a good decision to book this hotel. Room is simple but it has very nice bedding, nice bathroom and has AC. Breakfast was included and it had a great selection. Very convenient location - has parking and there is a gas station right next to it ( for us this was great as we needed to return the rental car next morning before the flight)

Clean, comfortable, friendly and feels like home. We loved the staff: everyone went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel like honored guests. The room was nice and spacious, and breakfast was superb. I needed a hair appointment - the front desk arranged it for me and offered additional suggestions on a lot of useful helpful details of life in Croatia. We would come back to Zagreb with pleasure, and look forward to staying at this lovely hotel!

My wife, five year old daughter and I stayed at this hotel for one night in June 2017. The hotel is very nice and reasonable. It is far from the city center and a 15 minute drive from the airport. For a short one night stay, it was perfect for our early morning flight the next morning. We booked a family room that included a double bed and a single bed for our child. The room was spacious. The bathroom was nice too. The staff was very friendly. We did not eat at the hotel. We would stay at this hotel again if we had a early morning flight.

The only downside to this hotel, in my opinion, is that it is out in the burbs about 15-20 minutes away from the center. Otherwise this was a GREAT hotel! Nikola at the front desk (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) was incredibly helpful and even gave me a free beer when my pizza ordered from the nearby deli was late. The room was clean and for the first time in my ten nights in Croatia staying at other hotels, I had a fully functioning shower that did not flood the bathroom floor and it had a AC that was actually working. By comparison some of the bigger hotel chains I stayed at in and around Croatia which were supposed to be 4 and 5 star accommodations were lacking in those areas. IF you have a car this is a great place to stay, and my taxi ride from the city center was only 100 kuna with tip, so 16-17 bucks. Gas station is close by if you need booze or snacks. Would definitely stay in again!

Comfortable, clean, generic chain hotel. The service was very good. The air conditioner in our room did not work well. The buffet breakfast was amazing. It was a good choice for our last night in Croatia before flying home.

The Hotel is situated a few kilometers from downtown Zagreb beside a motorway that gives great access if you are planning to do some travelling in the region. The hotel just does a Bed & Breakfast that is very nice, it so not a full service hotel. The staff are excellent, every time you come through reception you are always greeted with a very friendly hello - customer service at it's best. The staff throughout were so courteous, always helpful, at any time Excellent Wifi throughout

We stayed here before flying back home. It is in a residential area. You don't feel the noise of the airport travelers and groups. No food here but within a couple blocks is a street food cafe. Street food evidently means neighborhood cafe. The food was very good and perfect for our last night. They also have shuttle service to the airport.

Your about a 10 minute drive from the center of the city. The room is large and spacious and the hotel is clearly new. Staff was wonderful. Plenty of free parking, free WiFi, and they have a free breakfast buffet in the morning. Mini bar in the room also. Great hotel for a good night sleep as it's quiet. Overall we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at a couple of closer to the airport hotels, but Best Western is still a hotel of our choice when at Zagreb airport. Rooms are very clean, comfortable beddings, good wifi and friendly and helpful staff. Location, now with the new airport, is not the most convenient, and taxi cost us 20EU. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, with not so fresh looking veggies, breakfast meats. It could also be because I am so used to great breakfast when vacationing in Turkey. Also, it would be nice if they offered bathrobes, sleepers, and toiletries. But that seems to be a standard only at Turkish hotels. Overall, it's a nice hotel to stay when needing a hotel by the Zagreb airport.

The hotel is located just 5 min by cab from the international airport. Room was very clean, very nice breakfast, staff super nice and helpful. They have a bar with a terrace and overall very nice stay.

The hotel is actually out of the city, close to the airport. I have chosen it because in the city there were no available rooms at a reasonable rates in hotels with a gym. It is a typical 3 star hotel. No more. The gym is very poor and cold, the sauna has to be paid (40KN/pers), the restaurant is only for breakfast (which is also at the 3 star level). Very boring. Otherwise it is clean and very ergonomic (a lot of shelves in the bathroom, a lot of hangers in the room. The desk is pretty small and the tv is covering the most of it so it is not comfortable at all to use it. The worst part is that you can hear the snoring of your neighbor from the next door and I was unlucky to have one like this

The Hotel Stella was clean, modern, close the the airport and had a great staff and wonderful breakfast was provided. Sauna and gym area in lower lever, although we were not there long enough to use it. 15 to 20 minute taxi ride to the down town.

Chose this hotel based on it being closer to the airport. It's a simple hotel and functional. The décor was in reds which I found a bit odd but I did feel the place was kept up, clean and safe. Sometimes you really luck out with best western, especially in other countries, but this one felt closer to a US 2-3 star hotel vs European. It was just the décor, I think that wasn't my taste. The breakfast was fine. Espresso machine was very good. Its a good choice if your goal is to be close to airport. There are many gas stations near by to fill up for gas too - if you're in a rental car. It's not in a scenic area.

Staying there for 1 night, for business. It is a good solution, good price for value, 24h reception, free parking around the hotel, free wi-fi. A good breakfast choice, specially for business traveller that have interest in the souther part of the Croatian capital.

Stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. It's a 5 min ride from the airport and 25 min bus ride to the city center. The bus stop is just 2 min walk away. A gas station is just next to the hotel so you can get some drinks or snacks anytime you want. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and was charged kn100. We were later told by the hotel that the taxi company is a monopoly so they can charge whatever the like... On our departure day we asked the hotel to book a taxi for us which they have partnership with, and that only cost kn39. Staffs are all friendly and helpful. And I love the free breakfast! There a considerably good variety of cold and hot dish choices, and the grilled vegetable is simply amazing!! Room is clean and spacious. Will stay here again if I'm in Zagreb.

Had a great time here such a beautiful place lovely bars and restaurants, stayed near main drag and found an zing place to eat would highly recommend if you do a trip to Italy and few other European country's

Our room was way too hot (78F or 25C) and when we tried to lower, unsuccessfully, the temperature, we found out that the manger has an override privilege/function. So we went down and spoke to the manager who informed us that it was too cold outside to turn on the AC and recommended we open the window to cool down. That didn't work so we had to live with a hot evening. The breakfast was included and was very good. The bathrooms as identified by others were nice and the room was also up to date. I would probably stay here again

We stayed here in Nov 2016. Found it through a package deal on europeandestinations.com. The hotel is great, very modern. Nice breakfast. Free wi-fi in lobby and rooms (important to us) and incredibly friendly staff. We were not close to old town (walking distance or public transportation) but it was an easy 15 minute cab ride. Very close to airport (We could hear some plane noise but it wasnt bad). The rooms were very clean and modern - coffee pot (or tea) in each room and the showers were incredible - for water pressure and powerful nozzle. A nice hot massaging shower at the end of the day was very much appreciated. If staying close to old town is important this may not be the location for you, but otherwise it was great.

This hotel is good in everything , the position is very close the highway , the room is cleaned and the bathroom is large. I arrive at 21:00 and the director help me for find some place where eat. Next day I wake up and restart my trip. 1 week later when i return from my business trip i do an error and i made a reservation in the same hotel but is impossible to delete , i call the hotel and the director say to me no problem i talk with the company and i delete it and you don't pay nothing. If i come back in your country fur sure i return in that hotel. Thank you for everything.

If you are passing through Zagreb, or staying there for a few days, the Hotel Stella is a really good option. Convenient location to motorway, make sure you follow the hotel website directions. There is a great restaurant, Restoran Stafa's within a mile and half that the staff can direct you to. Rooms are comfortable, its quiet, and breakfast is really good.

We stayed here for one night as it was close to the airport for our flight the following day. Check in was fast, the rooms are very nice,breakfast was very good, the price was right and the recommendation for a restaurant nearby was excellent...Safis. It matched the reviews that we read on line before booking. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Croatia.

Stayed 2 nights in October. Room rather small but clean, everything you need. Requested coffee maker in room and they brought it immediately. Complementary breakfast very good. Three types of eggs, bacon, ham, fresh fruit, and pastry. Five ten minute drive from airport.

We stayed here at the beginning of our Croatia trip. It is close to the airport and the rates are quite reasonable. The room was very nice with a large bathroom and a comfy bed. The entire staff was wonderful - everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The desk clerk Ante went out of his way for us. We decided to take cabs to the downtown area and he called them for us - also told us what cabs to look for to return. He also recommended restaurants during our stay. We also stayed here on our last night because we had an early flight. Once again we had great service.

One night stay to accommodate flight connections in Zagreb--great place near airport for that purpose. Rooms very neat, excellent breakfast with a variety of Croatian and British breakfast foods, very courteous and helpful staff, reasonably priced. Hotel appears very new, and inviting. For travel to the hotel, we spoke with the driver of the Croatia Airlines shuttle bus (which normally goes directly from the airport to the city center) and he dropped us off near the Stella. We returned to the airport using a taxi for 40 Kuna (about $6 for the two of us) based on recommendation from the front desk. Worked out well. Absolutely a great airport hotel for the price .

Nice, clean rooms. Super easy check in. The beds are comfortable, the room temperature is not. No control inside the room, when I called down to see if I could do anything to make it cooler, I was told to open the window. That wouldn't be so bad but I can already hear conversations and street noise with the windows closed (common throughout Croatia but at least I could control the room temp), am now opening myself up to more noise. The hotel is on the outskirts of Zagreb.

I stayed one night. PM flight from Dubrovnik, connecting to FRA the following day. They get five stars judged as an affordable airport hotel - everything went smoothly, really zero issues. Room looked recently re-done, was very clean, AC worked well, good bed, and most importantly it was quiet. I never heard a plane taking off or landing during my stay! All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. They have a stash of free toiletries at the front desk - great for someone who had just run out of toothpaste. Free breakfast buffet with hot and cold options. Lots of western breakfast staples included. Wasn't gourmet but well-stocked and tasty enough. Couple things to note. -No shuttle service but ordering an Uber - it works exactly the same as in the US - was easy and cost 23 kuna (USD 3.46). The ride wasn't even 10 minutes. -Note the kitchen closes at 10pm and there's no food within walking distance. Very reasonable mini bar in the room so you have a couple things to snack on.

We stayed here the night before flying back home as it was perfectly located for the airport - just a 9 minute drive away. The room was pretty basic but included minibar, alarm clock, free wifi etc. We were a bit worried they don't serve evening meals - especially as we were there from 4pm on a Sunday but they do provide a menu to order a takeaway from. There isn't much to choose from - only pizza on Sundays but we were grateful to be told that the pizzas were actually quite big so only needed 1 to share between us so we sat in the breakfast bar and had a few drinks too which could either be paid there and then or charged to the room. We had run out of toothpaste but they provided a little kit to us both with spare toothbrush and small toothpaste free of charge (other toiletries available too). The room size was decent and even though basic, the bathroom was clean. There was AC which we needed with it being 21C at night. We couldn't hear traffic or the airport - just unfortunately kept waking up with someone snoring in a nearby room. We went for breakfast at 8am and there was plenty food available (although there weren't many people there) plus tea, coffee, fruit juices, cereals etc. Ideal for a one night stay rather than as a base for your holiday.

Very convenient and only a short drive away from the hotel. Ample rooms, though the bathroom was a little bit basic everything was new and clean. Great attention from staff, too, always helpful at helping with a little issue I had with lost baggage at the flight and giving town tips and directions.

Stayed here one night when visit Zagreb. It is located near airport and it takes approx 20 min to the city with car. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. WiFi is free and it was quite fast comparing to other hotels. Free parking outside hotel and breakfast included. It was an ordinary BW breakfast, not very much to choose but ok as for one night. Overall worth the money spent.

Stayed here our last night in Croatia since is was close to the airport. New, very clean, pleasant staff, decent breakfast, free parking, very safe residential area, close to gas station to fill up rental car before returning. 1.5km down the road there is a new mini-mall with large supermarket and a few shops. Easy to get to airport in 10 minutes but pay attention to signage, it is in Croatian and the typical Airplane silhouette on the signs indicating" Airport" is very small.

It is really great hotel with nice position and good food in beautiful city :) It is close to airport, and rooms are very big and spacious and clean. We stayed for just one night but if we ever come back in Zagreb we will come back here :)

We got into Zagreb airport somewhat late in the evening, and just needed a place to crash for one night before starting our trip. We had low expectations, but this hotel was great. Everything was clean, rooms were spacious and reasonably well-appointed, everything worked. But most importantly, service was amazing, some of the best I've gotten. Every employee was friendly, including helping us order delivery food later at night, bringing it up to our room even though we could've easily carried it ourselves, and more. Really nice, friendly, helpful folks.

Hotel was fabulous. It was clean. Rooms were spacious and clean. Brekkie was very very nice. We only stayed one night and they looked after our bags the next day as we were flying out later that night. We caught a bus into city Centre and walked around for about 4hrs and bussed back to hotel. Very easy and simple. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel was situated near to airport, which is just what we required... Very clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, excellent service from all staff, helpful, polite and approachable. Although no evening restaurant, they made arrangements for food to be ordered in, absolutely fine with us. Breakfast was included, vast range of choice. Extremely satisfied with all aspects service.

We spent only a night in Zagreb. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and nice. The best breakfast I have ever had in hotels. Staff was really helpful and nice. The parking place could be bigger. Booking was very flexible in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff was great -- we accidently didn't have the kids on the booking and they upgraded for free, showed us several options. The hotel is very clean, rooms are fine and modern, facilities up-to-date. This isn't an interesting destination -- near the freeway and an easy few minutes to the airport -- but it's nicer than the average anonymous hotel, was big, easy, safe and pleasant.

Clean, friendly new hotel very near the airport and good prices. Wifi and breakfast excellent. Room spacious, plenty of parking. Highly recommended for airport stopover. As a bonus there was a local fair on just down the road when we stayed.

some friends and i had a great stay at this hotel both on our first and last night in croatia. it's close to the airport and we found it really clean and spacious for two people. we also really enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning. the wifi also worked really well. the hotel seems to be pretty brand new or only recently opened. nice and friendly staff as well.

In the need for a hotell, our GPS gave us the option, and when arriving, the location and friendly front desk staff made us decide to stay here for the night. Enjoyed the room as well as pizza + beer. And the breakfast was really good.

This was a comfortable, clean hotel that met all our needs while staying one night in Zagreb. It was a short cab ride away from the airport. The breakfast had a decent selection and met our needs. All in all, an easy hotel to stay at if you need to be close to the airport.

I was in this hotel for one night and I can say it was one of the best one night hotel I have ever been to. In the room they have got 2 cups for tea or coffé and 2 cups for water. They also have a small kettle. The breakfast were small, but there was everything you need for a breakfast. I have enjoyed the stay.I recommend it to everybody who is going to have a one night stay in a Zagreb, it is close to a airport.

This is a small, nice hotel near the airport. We had an early flight and this was a great place to spend the night. The staff was great as well as the room. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. The free breakfast may get me to 200 characters.

Great room (we had booked a Deluxe room at that hotel for a nomimal extra -- well worth it!) .... it was very quiet even if you are close to airport location .... location was convenient for us since we did not want to drive to central Zagreb, we were walking distance to the bus stop for central Zagreb (about a 20 min. ride with frequent service on this line) ... reception staff was very helpful and friendly in making our stay enjoyable. And you will enjoy the breakfast in the morning!

Well located hotel with friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Rooms are a little basic and small, but quiet and comfortable. Bathroom was ok with a small shower but no bathtub. Overall, an excellent value and we would use again as an airport hotel.

The Best Western Hotel Stella is a nice place to stay if you want to be near the airport -- it's about a 10 minute drive. They don't offer shuttle service so you will have to have a rental or use a taxi. The rooms are modern and clean and the breakfast has a variety of options (and really good coffee / cappuccino). I found the hotel staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and fit the budget. Probably not the place to stay if you want to explore Zagreb and the city center -- but certainly the place for quick and easy access to the airport.

very close to airport. i was there a couple of weeks in different rooms witch are all clean and quiet with clean bathrooms. the staff is very polite and frendly. good for business travelers and early flights. they also have a free gym and paid sauna. had a pleasant stay

My room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The TV had a few English channels but could have done with more! Bathroom was very clean with good spec. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They took time to explain the way to a local shop and when i checked out by mistake (too early) they were very understanding Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. It had the basics but could be easily improved with a bit more variety The location of the hotel is a bit remote. there's very little around it and you need transport to get anywhere. It's about a 15 min taxi to the city and about 15 mins to the airport

Close to the main airport road-a little awkward to get to due to dual carriageway/ one way turns but directions provided with confirmation. No problem with flight/ traffic noise . Good sized, comfortable room and good breakfast .

Conveniently located near the ZAG airport. We overnighted prior to our driving adventure and upon return. Both nights the staff were very helpful and courteous. The lobby area is quaint and the breakfast service was very nice. The overnight at the end of our trip - the weather was quite bleak - so they offered to order us some dinner, which we ate in the lobby watching TV. Very good service.

We flew in airport Pleso. First time we decided to stay in different place than usual. Pleasant surprise not to far and not hard to find especially we was tired from the flight. Hospitality came from the heart, room was spotless and interior very well decorated. Neat little bar across from reception. Ante receptionist was delightful and young server for breakfast she was a hardworking individual. Compliments. We decided to stay again before we leave Croatia it is worthwhile.

Being a hotel that is close to airport especially when you have an early flight its only 8 min. away. To go into the city its better to take the Bus so you don't have any parking problems which is more expensive. Hotel has a good Breakfast, Staff that are very helpful. Very clean rooms. On our arrival we stayed 2 nights, and after visiting Croatia another night before flying home. I would come back to the same Hotel. I was very satisfied with the location.

Hotel is relatively new but far away from the city center. Good and enough parking space in front. Rooms are small without terrace or window, but with French window. You can open it, but I suggest not because of close highway and noise from cars, trucks and buses. As we were for business, it was good-clean rooms, good breakfast and safe parking, but not for relaxing or romantic weekend. Not much to see or do in hotel or around. NOTE: Very bad exchange rate in hotel - 7,3 kuna for 1 Euro, so we paid 12 Euros more than we see on Booking, because of that. TIP: Don't pay in Euros, exchange your money anywhere else (in the city)...rate is about 7,7 for 1 Euro.

This is not a luxury hotel nor is it located near the centre of Zagreb. It is however, close to the airport and great value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the internet works well. The bathroom was clean and has a nice shower. The heating and cooling system for the room seemed efficient. The breakfast offered a good range of choices and was replenished quickly when items ran out. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend as a hotel for an overnight stay either pre or post flight.

Spent a week in Croatia and Slovenia staying at 4 or 5 star hotels, so was a little concerned when we booked this (but needed a hotel close to the airport for our early flight out). Very pleasantly surprised! Nice large bright room, good sized bathroom, enclosed balcony/sitting area. No street noise at all. Lots of (free) parking available. We were going to be leaving before our (included) breakfast was to start, but the reception said they always accomodate travellers like us (and the dining room was full next morning). Definitely recommend if you are flying out early from Zagreb

Excellent location to stay for catching the flight at Zagreb International Airport. Very friendly and helpful staff! Parking is convenient. It is very easy to find the hotel as the signs on the main road are visible. The price is very reasonable for the quality of services and good breakfast,

If you want a place close to the airport this is an ideal location. Very clean rooms, hot shower, plenty of parking. They call it a bed and breakfast as they do not have a restaurant on site but do have breakfast. there are a number of places close by and the staff are happy to make a recommendation. There is no noise issues despite being close to the airport and the rooms are well darkened.

This place is either new or completely renovated! Loved it! Our room had exceptional wifi reception (because most hotels promote free wi-fi, but it's so slow, and not consistent. Not this place (we were on the 1st floor) not sure if this made a difference. Anyways, they had an incredible breakfast included in the rate and the rate was very reasonable. I couldn't find any negatives with staying at this hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel with easy access to the airport. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and very, very clean! I have insomnia and the desk clerks were incredibly kind to bring me cup after cup of coffee, direct me to the indoor smoking room, and inform me of the free WiFi. We're from the rural Midwest (USA) and always a little nervous about travel but the personable staff made us feel welcome, safe and completely at home. They gave us valuable advice about taxi service, local shopping, etc. We walked in the adjacent neighborhood and saw beautiful, well-kept homes and felt completely safe. We were scheduled to spend two night there but our plans changed and we wanted to stay an extra night. One of the desk guys, Daniel, while off duty no less, found that a room had opened up and took care of us. We've been traveling quite a bit lately and we've never had better service at any hotel! The food and service in the restaurant are superb as well.

We got this hotel as a way to get to the Zagreb airport early in the morning. It was a nice hotel with nice large rooms. The free breakfast was nice too. If you are, like myself and my friend, traveling into Zagreb to get to the airport I would recommend this place. They can also recommend a nice place to eat some good Croatian food as well!

Great hotel, close to airport but easy taxi ride to City centre. Rooms of high standard with very comfortable beds and great bathroom. Ridiculously good value with free wi fi and very good bar area. Definitely stay again.

This Hotel is good and convenient for the airport with easy access. Amenities are sufficient for the departing and business persons. Staff friendliness and service were excellent and the rooms were clean and tidy enabling a comfortable and good nights sleep.

We arrived late at night on a flight into Zagreb. Had hoped for an airport hotel shuttle but no such luck. We ended up getting a taxi to the hotel. We didn't realize, though, that it wasn't a real taxi and we ended up paying 150 ku which was. 3x the reasonable rate. When we arrived at the hotel we met a friendly person who checked us in. Our room was on the ground floor. Room was clean but hot. Didn't seem possible to change the temperature in the room. Despite this I was able to sleep OK. No soap in the shower the next morning, just an empty dispenser. Breakfast was very nice and I was thankful that I was able to get some food even after 10, though I got no utensils - had to use my spouses. Taxi back to the airport 34 ku. OK place close to airport.
