Best Western Plus Thionville Centre

Convenient location, with parking under the shopping center next door. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area. Room was comfy, bathroom was nice. Staff were great and the breakfast was stellar. From fresh squeezed orange juice to crepes to cheese to hot food, they had it all. Really enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel is in a good location a few minutes away from the train station and also the city centre. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet at night. Unfortunately there was no food available on the bank holiday 26th December

Generally impressed with the hotel We parked at the Republic car park which was right outside the hotel's front door, busy but always got a space. Try not to park under the trees (birds). It is free from 7PM to 9AM with the first 30 mins free. I think you get 2 hours free on Saturday and that Sunday free all day. Get ticket from barrier on the way in and validate at machine before returning to your car. Good Points Good position for walking into the town. Air conditioning worked OK. Staff were both helpful and friendly. Bad Points Breakfast. At €18 per person per day is ridiculous when you can go round the corner (left out of main entrance and left at end of building) to Paul's and get breakfast for about a third of the price. TV. The only English speaking channels were an unwatchable channel 4 (picture breaking up) and a channel selling cleaning products. Lots of French and German though !

…..here. Why? Location, parking in basement. Close to freeway, close to shopping, restaurants and pedestrian area. The Center of town is not boring as stating in some reviews. It's genuine, with great bars and restaurants. I agree the hotel is fantastic for a pull over for travel. However you can still have a great night out. Stayed at room 101 and it had everything. Accept a fridge. Everything squeaky clean! Extremely comfortable bed. Huge TV. No proper working English Channels. Okay breakfast. Check it out

A warm welcome in a sad city, a very helpful staff - great for a stopvover Thionville in itself is a pretty sad city. The welcome you receive in this hotel iis definitely a plus. As the restaurant was closed I was offered a diner (plate of cheese and charcuterie) in room at no charge. You may forget about the city, but somehow this hotel sticks out for its great staff. Great hotel for a stopver!

The staff was pleasant, helpful, and they spoke English. The hotel is well located with a shopping center and the historic center nearby. Free parking is available during certain hours and a walk of 5 blocks in other hours.

Great hotel, easy check inn, nice staff. Great balcony. My room was good and I slept good. Very central place. Parking is on a public paid space 70-100 meter from hotel. I can easy stay here next time also

Very disappointing stay, especially for a 4* (per say) hotel. There was no Wifi available despite the hotel claiming Free Wifi available. Receptionist explained there was a technical issue but were unable to provide an alternative solution along a 5 nights stay ! I had to use my international mobile sharing connections. I'm expecting to receiving an expensive roaming invoice... Furthermore, nobody clearly explained that during the covid restrictions, the room will only be cleaned up only once every 2 days with not changing towels nor emptying the bins...Second bad news, they forgot to clean up my room also the second : meaning the room has been cleaned once in 3 nights ! Next time I'll go to airbnb to get such level of service. I have asked compensation, but it has been rejected ! Employees were very smiling, polite but not able to provide any solutions, so not helpful... very very not recommended

This hotel is well located in the center of the city and easy access from the A31 road. Facilities are brand new, staff is kind, service is fair, room is clean. Didn't try the breakfast but had a coffee at the bar before leaving.

Verny nice and clean hotel right in the centre of Thionville with a parking lot in front, free in weekends and special days. We took breakfast in the room which is for more than one person and with a very friendly service.

We stayed one night. Easy to find. We used the car park under the hotel, which got plenty of space. The rooms are relatively small and you can hear voices from adjacent rooms, but it doesn't stop you getting a good night's sleep. Our air conditioning was relatively noisy, so we turned it off, which makes the room a bit too warm. We didn't have the breakfast, as good opportunities nearby, including Paul at the entrance of the shopping mall next door. The roof terrace is nice: they stop serving at 10pm and you might have to ask the reception for the key to get it opened in the morning. Nice and quiet! The river is not far away, which has got a nice cycle / running path along it, which was quite quiet on the Saturday morning. Good restaurants nearby.
