This is not your usual Best Western. The restaurant has an amazing menu and a good selection of local wines. There is also a cafe on the permises that serve a great pizza and a great beer. Locals eat in both these places which I think is a good recommendation. Make sure that you get up early enough to eat the massive breakfast buffet. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. It is just down the road from the metro into the centre so not a bad location.
Cordial staff, phenomenal breakfast and stunning view. Best bed i've ever slept on, great location too
Absolutely wondering stay at the Best Western Premier Las Condes hotel in Santiago. From the front desk staff to the restaurant, bar and fitness facility, this hotel was top tier and I would stay here again no question! Thank you for making
I have never been treated so poorly and experienced such an embarrassing situation as this hotel made me go through. I went to Chile to celebrate my wife's birthday, who is wheelchair-bound. I booked the room on Booking.com and, as usual, I sent an email explaining her situation and requesting confirmation of a room with adaptation and a walk-in shower. I booked and confirmed with them two months in advance. A week before, I sent an email and everything was confirmed. When I arrived, not only did they not have the room reserved, it was occupied, and they told me that they hadn't reserved this room, asking for proof. After I showed the email confirming everything, they said they didn't have the room. I asked what could be done, and the night manager responded, "Find another hotel." It was 9:30 at night. Their lack of empathy towards guests was appalling; I have never felt such shame towards another human being in my life. To them, we are just another number. I had to leave at 10 p.m. to find another hotel that could accommodate her needs. Avoid this hotel; I hope my testimony serves as a warning to everyone that this hotel doesn't care about its guests. I hope no one goes through what I experienced.
This hotel is a fine place for an overnight or conference. Set out in 3 adjoining blocks it can be a bit fun finding your room, which might be a distance away. Reception and most staff helpful and friendly but some of the room cleaning staff the opposite. Also, some other cleaning staff seemed more concerned with joking and keeping out of sight than working. Overall, though no impact on us but a shame for management and hotel chain to have such staff.
This is an excellent place to stay in Santiago, quite a distance from the centre of the city but near a metro and bus stops and situated in a vibrant neighbourhood with many local bars and restaurants. This is a very modern comfortable hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds and a powerful shower. The restaurant is good but rather expensive, it has a pleasant terrace to enjoy relaxing drinks but the pizzeria is best avoided. The breakfasts are tremendous with a wide range of dishes available. The staff are fantastic, very helpful and prepared to go that extra mile to help you. There are two good places to eat at either end of the of Rosario Nte, the Open Resto Bar opposite the metro and the Food Truck park within the large park at the other end of the street, both good value and within walking distance. Worth staying at this hotel.
A cracking hotel to stay in for two nights in Santiago. Our room was in C Tower and was comfortable, clean and tidy. Nice size room and bathroom. Ate in the hotel restaurant and thought the braised beef on pumpkin purée was delicious. My wife had the bass that she thought very good. We also had a glass of wine each and deserts for less than £50, which we thought excellent. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed for 3 nights and was impressed by the extensive 3 buliding layout of the hotel. Better then those BWP stayed in the US with firm beds, friendly and helpful staff, spacious breakfast area with a good spread. Car park, WiFi, swimming pool and gym. Room with safe, hair dryer and fridge. Disappointment comes with a small bathroom and non-Smart TV(no access to Youtube or Netflix as no English channel on TV). 3 blocks walk to nearby shopping center with a supermarket. Some rooms on higher levels have the Andes mountain view.
I had supposedly reserved a night on Feb 11, but because either a booking issue it was reserved for Feb 10. Indeed I shoudld've checked the date on the confirmation mail but wasn't overly concerned as I was certain the reservation had been made for the 11th. When the error was discovered (after the conceirge made *me* investigate what had happened) the concierge incredibly offered us to stay the night for the full price, and charging us for the missed night. There was zero sympathy from the conceirge (who was the only one around) and I was forced to pay for the error. I don't give the rating "terrible" since a check of the dates in the confirmation mail on my part would've avoided this disgraceful situation, but I was truly astounded by the robotic nature of the concierge to not concede it was an honest error and not be helpful in any way. Ruined a pre-Valentine's getaway. Will certainly never give these guys business again, anywhere.
I spent a lot of time trying to make a good hotel choice in Santiago since we would be spending 3 nights there. On booking, this hotel had a room choice of King Room with Balcony which was listed a 50 sq meters. For the price it was a decent option. I went to BW's site and reserved the room with a member discount. The arrival revealed a nice lobby and a very helpful employee named Andres. He gave us a high floor with a view and we proceeded to the room. Imagine my surprise when we entered a tiny room (25sq). The Booking description also specified a coffeemaker which it did not have. I returned to Andres at the front desk and explained the situation. He looked at the Booking site and confirmed what I had seen. He said it must be an error because only the suites were that size. I asked to upgrade and he said none were available. I asked him to check with management to see if anything could be done. When we returned in the afternoon, he said that because the claims were made on Booking they would not do anything for me. I lodged a complaint with BW's website and have had no response. Our tiny room unfortunately had no heat and was very cold. The hotel managed to fix the heat after awhile. We have just returned from the hotel's breakfast which was awful. Stale pastries and bread and terrible coffee. They had an automatic expresso machine which of course was not working. We asked for fried eggs to avoid the scramble on the buffet. We were told that there would be a surcharge and it would take 20 minutes. We declined. We still have 2 nights left in the hotel so I would expect to have other examples of poor service and equipment not working. I am done with Best Western and would recommend that others look elsewhere if you wish to have good service and a well maintained property with responsive management.
We were unsure where to stay outside of the city in Santiago and decided on this hotel. We were so happy with our choice. The location was walking distance to restaurants, pubs and a grocery store. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again and again.
Not the best experience. Infrastructure was nice and modern, the face to face service was excellent (as would be expected of any hotel in this rante), but there were major downsides: Internet was not working, cleaning service was spotty, they gave me a room right beside the elevator despite having many rooms available, changing rooms was a challenge
I am staying in the hotel due to CoVid restrictions as a transit passenger. I paid for my stay which includes three meals daily… these meals if you can call them that, are distributed at 10:00 , 15:00 and 22:00 hrs a timetable that may be acceptable for people who come from the Americas unfortunately far too late for European passengers. I feel the hotel has discriminated against customers that have used the chain services in other locations with very different service, this is unnecessary and unacceptable. The food provided is insulting!
I find it impressive how the BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotel lowers its quality standards to the maximum and its attention to the transit passengers of the residences, despite the fact that services are being paid through a reservation like any other, the room is extremely cold, with 1 dirty fleece blanket, torn towels, disgusting food, very reluctant service, no kettle or coffee maker in the room nor any amenities. They knock on your door very loudly for each meal as if it were a jail, and they treat you as if you had committed a crime, my trip in particular was for work. And I travel a lot and would never recommend or stay at a BEST WESTERN! After this terrifying experience. Not 2 stars for this HOTEL. Although the hotel is clean, nice, comfortable, it has the worst internet that I've ever seen. I called a few times to check why it was so horrible, but the managers not only completely disregarded the quality of internet, they had the stones to say that nobody else was complaining. To be fair, I was sent here by the Health Department of Chile in what they call "Sanitary Residence" of 5 days, after arriving to the country. The thing is you have to stay in your room and are forbidden to get out for 5 days, that's why good internet is important. To put matters into perspective, From 6 am to 10 am there is enough internet to send a few emails and get some work done (20 mbps), after that, and I imagine because most of the passengers wake up and use the internet, you'll be looking at about 1.2 - 4 mbps, not ideal by any standards.
We arrived on the Friday easy checkin and very well greeted in lobby. The staff are very helpful and went out of their way to help where needed. Upon arriving we were not knowing that our 2 night stay was about to be a 5 night stay as on the day before checking out as our cruise was to be the next day it was canceled due to the Coronavirus, the ship was not allowed to dock. We had to stay 3 more nights till we could get a flight to the USA to return to Australia, Best Western understood this and we thankful stayed another 3 nights and enjoyed the city.
We really enjoyed the three nights we spent in this lovely hotel. Our room was very spacious, very clean with great supplies included. Buffet breakfast had a nice variety of both hot and cold food including lots of fresh juices, fruit and breads. The lobby restaurant/ bar was handy after long days of walking and touring. Staff throughout the hotel were most helpful and friendly. Front desk staff gave us valuable suggestions for places to visit and things to do. There was always someone who could understand English. The pool and other facilities were well equipped and in an interesting section of the hotel. Only thing I found was that the pool and hot tub were both too cool. Was also difficult getting in and out of the hot tub with no railing since I have had both knees replaced. We walked for miles every day and really enjoyed our visit to this interesting city. It was a $25 - 30 -40 minute cab ride from the airport and $30 return trip which was easily arranged at the front desk. Would certainly recommend this for your comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Large modern hotel situated in the Business district. Comfortable and clean rooms and pleasant helpful staff. The hop on hop off bus stops opposite the hotel so if you are only here for one or two days it is a good base from which to do your sightseeing. Not much in the way of bars and restaurants in the vicinity so we used the hotel bar lounge Nero for food and drink in the evening - reasonable value for money bearing in mind that you are in big hotel in a capital city.
Stayed here for two nights. Extremely friendly and professional staff-very helpful with dinner reservations and suggestions. Reception staff spoke very good English. Room had tub/shower. Toiletries consisted of individual lotion, shampoo, bar soap, shower cap and shoeshine. Very quiet in business district. King bed. No washcloth. Good free wifi. Very clean. Near metro and shopping mall with food court. Inside hotel is a little disjointed with several towers-just need to get your directions correct. Breakfast was very good with many hot and cold items, pastries, breads, fresh fruit, lots of juices and beverage, including my favorite of blueberry juice. Had early breakfast for us due to our flight. Extremely accommodating.
This hotel is located in the business district, and whilst the area was very clean, felt safe and was away from the protests, there was a lack of bars/ restaurants within walking distance and after trips out during the day we didn't really want to get a cab/ metro into the centre of town for dinner (there are one or two restaurants - see review but be aware in Chile, most places require you to eat rather than just have a drink). The hotel its self was clean and rooms of a standard quality and size for a business hotel. The hotel does have a pool which was a plus after a long day, it has the quirky windows at each end giving a view of the city. They provide pool towels and there are robes in the rooms. The breakfast was buffet and offered a good array of options. The hotel bar also served some of the best Pisco Sours we had on the whole trip. Overall I would recommend this hotel, as long as you are aware of the lack of near by restaurants.
We stayed in this hotel before a cruise in late December. Arrived early after a redeye flight. Unfortunately, the room wasn't ready. They stored our bags while we went to the Parque Arauco Mall four blocks away until check-in time. The porter helped us very well and took good care of us during the stay. The room was very clean, WiFi service was great. The staff is very courteous and helpful. It is located in a business district, but it is safe at night. The hotel is mainly used by companies to hold meetings and training courses on weekdays. The trainees stay in the hotel. Tourists show on weekends. The hotel is close to a main subway station, so you can watch the commuter crowds walking next to the hotel to and from the station every day. There are also 7-11 type stores and supermarkets nearby. There are not many restaurants or fast food places nearby. The hotel has three good and affordable restaurants. We ended dining the daily 2-for-one special at the pizza restaurant every night.
This is not a hotel for business travel. My secretary had given previous notice of a late check in but took them 15 minutes to retrieve it (at 6 AM). On checkout the only available clerk was serving breakfast to airline staff and took 10 minutes to serve the line. Location is suboptimal for tourism as well, far from attractions, public transportation and restaurants.
We spent the last night of a three week stay in Chile in this hotel before we flew back to Europe. An excellent decision. The hotel was helpful arranging our 20 min. transfers fro and to the airport. Location amongst highrisers and highways in a safe area of town (also during the riots). Checkin in the stylish lobby was seamless and made us feel welcome as did the smiling and helpful bellboy. The rooms was spacious functional and offering excellent view over modern Santiago. The pool and fitness center on 12th floor was a delight although the water in the spa was only lukewarm. The Rosso restaurant served real gourmet food, even between 22-23.30 at night and the service by the two elderly, elegant, polite and English-speaking waitors was friendly, professional and impeccable. Breakfast was sumptuous and varied, packed with good raw materials - offering seating outside and inside. Front desk was helpful finding nearby shopping facilities and checking in our flights online. Really very little to criticise - the only issue was a window which could not be closed fully and thereby allowing traffic noise to enter the room, but this was addressed immediately we reported it at checkout, where we were also allowed to save the 19% VAT by paying with an international credit card. This will also be our choice when next time in Santiago.
The location of the hotel is terrific for walking to local and major malls, the large park and upscale mall Araucano and other commerce. The hotel serves breakfast included with the room rate. Much of the food is not gluten free and I also stayed away from the scrambled eggs. Most buffet type of foods are pre-prepared and packaged with additives to maintain freshness. The scrambled eggs do often contain wheat starch for the fluffiness and the potato hash browns may also be dusted with flour for the crunch factor. In this situation I stick to hard boiled eggs and fruits.
We stayed here twice in October during a tour of Chile and were pleased with our choice, a nice stay, nice people with everything you need for a good price. The location seems quite a long way out of the centre but the metro line is only a short walk down the road that takes you right there in 15-20mins. It's only a short trip on the metro to the hills that surround Santiago. It is within walking distance, maybe 10 mins of a large shopping centre and park which is nice to have a walk around. The outside of the property is modern, the rooms are ok, functional with everything you need, interestingly they felt a bit tired compared to the common areas. Breakfast is a buffet with a decent selection, we tried the lounge which was ok but with only a small selection of food. We also tried the pizza restaurant that is attached, that was good with nice pizza and cold beer. We tried the top floor swimming pool that was nice after a long day walking in Santiago, small but great views. Service was good, the reception staff and porters were great. Overall just what we needed before and after our tour of the rest of Chile.
My friends and I were part of a group tour of South America and we stayed in this hotel when we went to Chile. First impressions were nice, clean lobby with good security and excellent front desk staff who were helpful especially Javier. Room was very nice and clean. Had excellent internet access all 3 days. Breakfast was very good. I suggest you go early rather than late. One morning, it took a while to replenish the food. Hotel is in a business district and you need transportation to get to downtown. However, there is a subway station nearby and cabs are always available. There are 2 malls within walking distance.
Rooms have everything you expect for 4 star, and it all works. Restaurants adjoin, reasonably priced, wide choice. Set in a plush area area, business district. Very busy hotel in a very busy part of Santiago. Unaffected by the political unrest, besides Chileans have no gripes with tourists. We are most welcome. Bed very comfortable, walk in shower. Wide breakfast choice, in and outdoor dining.
This is the best hotel in town. I stayed at this hotel during the State of Emergency and the entire team made sure that my experience in both the county and the hotel was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Santiago. I hope that I get to go back sometime soon!!!
I guess this hotel is a bit cheaper being out of the CBD area, but it is quite new, clean and good size rooms. Restaurant operates for all meals. The neighborhood certainly is a bit lower class. Graffiti is everywhere, every building has bars on doors and windows. We went for walks during the day without any concerns, but wouldn't do it at night.
staff very friendly, spacious rooms and clean, lobby/lounge/restaurant top notch service. it was my first experience but I am quite sure that it won´t be my last one. ChekIn and CheckOut was fast and clear.
Great location. The Las Condes area is very safe. We stay about a week in one of the newer buildings. There was a lot of dust from the recent construction. Needs a deep cleaning. Large glass door overlooking the mountains. The breakfast needs major improvement, not tasty. Blah. The other restaurants are good, but I didn't like the overall vibration of the food or the hotel. Probably won't stay here again.
Good Location ... comfortable beds and a good breakfast.... near Metro Station for the necessary tourist itinerary. Arauco Park and the mall within few blocks. If you need to buy some liquor or wine an express store is right in the corner.
The hotel is comfortable and the staff is very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and quiet. If you need a kettle for tea or coffee, just ask at the reception. Great pool for morning laps on the 12th floor of one of the towers. Windows at both ends give an infinity effect and views over the city. Red line metro is a short walk. The hotel is located in a clean and modern residential and urban mix of buildings, near a mall to shop and dine.
Stayed hear for four nights in a recent visit to Chile. The room was clean, although not huge in size. The staff were very helpful and the breakfasts and evening meals (if required) very very good. Only complaint would be over the lack of tea bags. If you like a cup of tea, be prepared and take a box of your own. They appear to be like gold dust for this hotel!!
This hotel is simply amazing and in a great location! Starting by their outstanding staff, who assist you immediately regarding anything you may need. They always have a beautiful smile in their faces, they are lovely, helpful and makes each guest feel unique. The facilities are also super great and the bed and pillows are wow. Thank you for all kindness and attention, your team is extraordinary. I really love to stay there when I am in SLC. ❤ PS: The food is really nice and breakfast outstanding.
The hotel is located in the business district of Santiago convenient for local transport links. Breakfast was decent with a reasonable choice and option to eat inside or outside. Room was very good and well equipped. Hotel has a small indoor pool on the roof of the hotel which did not have time to use.
The hotel is not in the centre of Santiago but is not far outside and is in a perfectly safe area. It is a modern city hotel so views from upper floors, at least from our room, are of other hotels and offices blocks. Our room was actually overlooked by offices so it meant having the curtains closed whenever we were in the room, especially first thing in the morning or of an evening. The room was pleasant and comfortable enough though; modern and clean with normal amenities, e.g. fridge, tv, safe, writing desk. There are three towers of rooms and I don't know what difference it makes which tower you're in. It's located within minutes of a large shopping mall and other shops and eating places, and a metro station. It is also walking distance from Araucano Park which is a very pleasant place to spend a couple of hours. We stayed for three nights and had a set meal at a fixed price in the restaurant on the first night. (We were in a group and this had been pre-arranged.) The meal was basic but good but I can't say if it was typical of the restaurant food or not (I would actually hope that the restaurant food was a bit better as it costs a bit more). The other two nights we went to the ground-floor terrace bar that overlooks the street. They offer a fixed price all-you-can-eat buffet with 2 drinks (cocktails, beer etc). The first night was fine - there was a small but varied buffet and the cocktails were good - but the following night the buffet was a bit disappointing: the 'hot' food wasn't hot and there was less choice. It's a lively spot though and, overlooking a busy street, especially at rush-hour, it's a good place to watch the locals going by. The breakfast buffet was typical of a modern large-chain hotel and was very good with a large choice. There is an infinity swimming pool on the 12th floor (which is a novelty) and some exercise equipment . Being scared of heights though I wasn't tempted to try it. Reception was very helpful when needed. Overall I had no complaints about this hotel and would recommend it.
I had a few nights in Santiago at the start of my South American trip, the location of the hotel is a few KMs from the main square in Santiago, so if you are after a more central hotel, this one may be a little out for you, however it is quiet near the metro and the centre is several stops from the hotel. The hotel is in a very nice area, full of locals going to work. There are a few restaurants near by, there is a chemist and starbucks as well as a bank opposite the hotel. There is an onsite bar and restaurant, (for some off reason my travel card didn't work at the restaurant but it did at the ATM in the bank opposite the hotel, there was another location in Chile where my travel card didn't work). The hotel doesn't provide free water in the room, but there is a mini-market about 5mins down the road where you can buy 1.5L water bottles quiet cheap. The Hotel room size is a good size. The street is quiet on a weekend and busy on a weekday. There was a fridge in room, no kettle. While the room and i believe the hotel is non smoking if i had my room window open i did get a bit of the smell of cigarette smoke from the restaurant/bar below. There was also some noise of music from the bar and there was also a conference on at the time i stayed which was a bit noisey they finished up. The bathroom was a decent size and bath towel a good size, the water pressure was good however it took a while for the warm water to comet through. Hotel staff friendly and breakfast choice/selection was great
Stayed here as part of a group tour. Long queue to check in, so we stored our luggage and went to restaurant for a meal first. All 3 courses were tasty and well presented. Wine was good too. Breakfast was buffet style and ok. We also tried the hotel's pizzeria which was quite nice and busy with locals on their way home from work. Not there long enough to sample any other facilities. Need to have complimentary mineral water and tea/coffee making facilities too.
A very newly built hotel, very modern, big rooms comfortable beds, excellent breakfast with good variety of food. The area Las Condes is the most aristocratic and safe area in Santiago.Very near the hotel (300 - 400 metr.) is a huge Mall with brand names and more Very conveniet location .Metro station is also very near
Good location but many small problems, no English channels, it seems from other reviews back in Sept 18 this is a short term issue as they change over, many months later still a problem, had to fix the toilet myself as it didn't flush, noisy AC, breakfast average - hot food not so hot in buffet.
We stayed at the hotel on 4 occassions over 2 weeks and we can't speak more highly of the reception and bell staff at this hotel. They were extremely helpful in sorting out a small but important issue created by our booking agent and were always prompt and professional when dealing with our enquiries. The hotel is in a good location, 1 block from the redline metro which goes to the centre / tallest tower (hard rock cafe & shopping cente), and a couple of blocks the Parque Arauco Mall with shops / restaurants and a food court. There is a nice pool on the 12th floor.
Nice hotel. A little dated and in need of a refurb however rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was substantial and enough to keep you going through the day. Staff were attentive and professional. No facilities to make hot drinks in the room however this has been a common theme during our South America trip so far. Rooftop pool is a nice touch if you have the time to relax
This hotel could it be a good choice, But it's not. The rooms are not equipped with blackout curtain (blind). It only has a nasty shutter that allows all the sun light come in the barroom. Incredible even the new rooms at the C tower were made with this crap shutter. So, I do not recommend to guest who deserve to sleep well. Also the AC system is very noisy even when u set to slow fan. TOO BAD!!!
This hotel is very well located near Parque Arauco Mall and the subway. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant was ok. They helped us rent a car to go to the beach. The check out process took a long time.
Close to Parque Arauco and mall in Las Condes it's a faboulous option to stay in this interesting area of the city. Comfortable rooms with attractive views, swimming pool in the roof very nice, friendly and helpful staff, I enjoyed this hotel very much and I will be visited it in my next trip to Santiago
Room was clean, window opened (if you don't like AC), had a bathtub and a room safe, and bed was OK Free breakfast was good. No coffee maker, but can ask for a free one. Location across from Starbucks and pharmacy, about 3 blocks from a local mall (Apumanque) and metro station and 4 blocks from an Express grocer if you go one way on Rosario and about 7 blocks from the upscale Alto Las Condes mall and the Tottus market (sorta like Target-Walmart) if you go the other way. La Tasca de Altamar restaurant is nearby for seafood (which I have heard is good). A cab secured by the hotel to SCL runs 30,000 CLP and can be charged to your room.
The bed was very confortable. The room we had also had a balcony which was very nice. The included breakfast was good but not the best for a hotel of this price. The check in system was tedious and the guest has to input all of the data on a clunky tablet with a electronic pen, What happened to the receptionist at the desk typing this in for the guest... this is the last thing i want to do after a long plan flight followed by a 40 minute taxi ride. Housekeeping cleaned the room well, but only left one towel... I called to request another, then called again 1 hour later to make the request again, after the second call the they arrived with additional towels with in 5 minutes. Overall it is clean nice hotel and the bed is very comfortable. The execution could use some improvement.
Stayed here a week, very pleasant and pleased. The staff was extremely nice and tried to be so helpful. Enough good English spoken hardly any problems. The hotel restaurant was very good. breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. Room was spacious and clean. Definitely will stay here again.
I stood there for a week, business travel. The location is Great, next to a Starbucks café and a couple blocks from a supermarket and a mall. Room is ok, clean and good bed. The pool on the last floor is also really pretty. The only thing not so good is the food.
Very well located for business meetings - many large businesses have offices nearby Rooms are functional and clean but a little dated and bland Airport pick up was late Service was ok - nothing special Air conditioning had to be repaired as wasn't working Breakfast food was basic and could do with more options and freshly cooked hot food Overall good value
This hotel was a great choice, subway, shopping malls, supermarket all close by. Beautiful parklands surrounded by the mountains. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel..
First the pluses: - WiFi works well. - Fairly close to Parque Arauco. And the negatives: - Fit, finish and cleanliness are sub-par. Lower even that a traditional North American Best Western (see pics for examples) - Air conditioning doesn't work even after three days of requests to fix it. Writing this while I wait for the tech who was “sent immediately” - Sub-par service. For example, I asked at front desk “could I pick up a bucket of ice, or have one sent up? (No ice machines on floors). Response, “go ask at the bar.” I wait at bar with no staff for a few minutes and give up. - Tiny rooms. You have 4 feet on each side around a king size bed, and that's it. - None of the “little things”: no free bottle of water. No USB charging ports. No real desk or workspace. Long story short, there are far better hotels in Santiago. Don't believe the reviews on this one....not a chance they're real if my experience is typical. Pics are filthy thermostat that doesn't do anything, and the edge of the tub.
Room is clean and simple. Bed very comfy and the hotel is located in the heart of Las Condes. Gym is quite complete with everything you need. Breakfast is quite poor tho, not many options. There is an indoor swimming pool if that is something you value in a hotel.
The hotel is located in the modern district of Santiago, close to the metro station. Metro is important as we think it is the quickest mode of transport in Santiago due to big traffic jams. The drive from the airport takes about 30 minutes. The transfer arranged by the hotel costs 30,000CLP. The official airport taxi price is 24,000 CLP from the airport and 21,000CLP to the airport. This is chain hotel with good Best Western standards. So the rooms were clean. The breakfast was really rich – with big selection of dishes, including some hot dishes, however the majority were sweet products (fruits, cakes, pastries, jams etc.) , as in many places South America, Staff was very friendly and helpful but our greatest thanks are directed to Ms Christina from reception area !!!!!! We stayed in this hotel twice, and the check-in when we arrived the second time was very short. As once our flight was very early, we have got a quick breakfast prepared for us before opening the breakfast room and this breakfast was even adopted to our dietary limitations.
The property is adequate. The room was clean. I had constant problems with the WiFi. There were no adapters of any kind, even a USB port in the room. (I arrived there from Brazil where there were adapters and even a converter built in.) There are no English speaking channels on the TV.The staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful.
Staff spoke better English than I do. Room was spotless and a heck of a view. Breaky included was delicious. 2 minute walk from the subway which took you everywhere you'd want to visit in the city. Forgot to take a picture of the room. But here's the street view right outside the hotel.
went many times to this hotel for Business, as it is very convenient to our office in Santiago, and it keeps delivering a very consistent experience up to high standards. Room is comfortable and very clean, service is excellent and location great as it is close to business center and near a metro station to reach any part of the city. Only thing a bit subpar is the meals quality. Price is right for the quality got.
Great location, not far from "Parque Arauco" and very close to the metro station. Good service, the room was not to small and the breakfast was fine. Not bad also the amenities like the swimming roof pool.
Made my second trip to Chile and stayed at the Best Western. Great deal in terms of breakfast every morning, and free parking. The hotel is clean and everyone is great at making sure your stay is a pleasant one. The pool (which I did not use) looks great. You can see the outside from the glass sides. The hotel is also completing a third wing. The area is great with many restaurants, fast food, public transportation etc.
This is a perfect place to stay in Santiago if you are in a business trip. Any time you need something hotel staff is ready to help. Food is good. They have a very good lunch menu. Rooms are perfect size. Service is superb!
I stayed at this hotel based on previous Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Since I was a 70+ year old female traveling solo and had a 24 hour plane connection, I wanted a hotel in a safe area that would allow me to venture out to see things. Parque Araucano is only three blocks away and a huge shopping mall is only a block farther. From check in to check out I was very pleased with the friendly staff, all of whom were very helpful. They allowed me a late check out (3:00pm) without an additional charge. Also, arranged transport to the airport (25,000 pesos/approximately $38.00USD which was equal to the transport from the airport the previous night). The room was large, clean, bed comfortable and with a nice selection of English speaking programs on the TV. I ordered room service after checking in. The food arrived in a timely manner and was not overpriced. There was a mini bar in the room with a good selection of cold beverages, including bottled water. The only thing I would question is to ask if the breakfast is complimentary. The website advertises yes but I was charged for it. That being said it had a large selection of hot and cold items, catering to US and non US tastes. The coffee was exceptionally good. I would definitely stay there again when in Santiago. It was very safe in that the electronic key card had to be used to use the elevator and enter the room.
We stayed here for three nights prior to joining our cruise ship. It is in a business area and bit of a distance from the centre but easy to travel to and from via the Subway system. It's efficient and cheap! The hotel is modern and also in the process of being doubled in size. It's very popular with local routs and business people with conferences and reunions every day. The restaurant is excellent and the popular choice of visitors and locals is the Happy Deck offers which is a play on happy hour. They offer two drinks and a snack/buffet for 11.000 Chilean Pesoe- about £13 each. We had a cocktail( Mohito) and a glass of Chilean Chardonnay with snacks of small empanadas, chicken drumsticks and an array of cheeses, olives, crisps, bread and various dips including a delicious Salsa and Guacamole. This was a Friday and it was very busy but plenty of attentive staff on hand to help. Lots of locals seemed to enjoy the evening and an obvious hint for visitors like us.
The Hotel is very well located but unfortunately, the rooms and facilities are pretty average for the price and stars given by most accommodation websites. The rooms are tiny and the beds are not comfortable. I found some of the personnel at the reception patronizing and plain rude. The shower drain was very slow filled up with with water at times.
Very nice hotel in a clean, safe and quiet part of the city. It is close to the subway so convenient to all areas of the city. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Wifi was good. The staff were nice, some exceptionally welcoming. Breakfast was great with good choices of fruit, cereals/nuts, eggs and protein. Would stay there again.
This hotel is great! The rooms are spacious & comfortable and the hotel is located in a central area. It is close to the Mall and restaurants and the bus route stops outside the front of the hotel. Breakfast had plenty of options and dinner was fantastic. I would stay here again! Certainly.
A great location away from hustle and bustle of downtown in centre of business district. Easy access to subway. Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. The staff really make this place - they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, provide advice for things to do and look after you. Really appreciated the reminder to remove passport from top pocket on first very jet lagged day there.
Very good location that is close to major shopping area and a metro station. The staff was extremely helpful. We had a tenth floor room that was quiet, and high enough to allow open window with little street noise. The breakfast was outstanding and a Starbucks is right across the street. Overall, a fine choice.
It would be great if all reviews could recommend the room they stayed in , and on what floor - then go on to say why they liked or disliked their room- this would be of great advantage to most of us when seeking to find the best room and price?.
We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The location is excellent in one of the best areas of Santiago. Close to the metro -less than 5 minues walk- to get downtown, but also the Arauco Shopping Mall within 10 minutes walking distance. In this mall there is good choice of restaurants besides all the stores. The hotel is very modern and well appointed, although very business like. The room we had was comfy, exellent bed, good bathroom and good blindings so the room was very dark at night. At night we weren't bothered by traffic noises or whatsoever and had an excellent sleep. There is a swimming pool on the roof with an amazing view, but we did not make use of this as the water was way too cold to swim in. Breakfast buffet in the morning was quite good. In general, good choice on a good location. Although a little business style, it is clean and comfortable.
Excelente. Good food, good service, confortable, pleasant, good staff, close to Geribá Beach. Awesome breakfast. Good for couple or for family with kids. Welcome drink. Massage available ( need to be scheduled).
Average hotel, with clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is well situated and there is a convenience store quite close by. I found the meal at the restaurant in the hotel to be quite pricy, but then that seems to be the norm for hotels overall.
Conveniently located in the Las Condes district. Close to several key business destinations and also to the Parque Arauco mall. Modern, smart looking building. Rooms are clean and properly appointed. Breakfast is good, Wi-Fi works well. I found the shower to be a bit small and particularly slippery (bath/shower combo). The heater in the second room I got (I switched towards the end of my stay) did not work well. There is a nice pool on the roof, which seems to be heated... but the windows are open, which makes it freezing in the winter. The gym area is tiny and poorly equipped. Overall I was satisfied with my stay, but I cannot qualify this place anything better than average.
This Best Western in a first-rate hotel. It is very modern and clean in appearance. The bellhop was extremely helpful. The staff were well-organized and helpful. Room service is organized and arrives on time. The breakfast has a good selection of items. The area is very clean and safe, excellent for business travelers and tourists alike.
This is not your typical BW hotel - The Marina chain (which must have been bought by BW) is decidedly nicer. It's modern, clean, has excellent service, full service dining rooms and room service. When i arrived and saw it I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't typical BW motel style accommodation with a horid American style packaged breakfast and weak coffee! Not at all. This place rocks.
Would recommend this hotel it's quite modern good food and service. Do be aware -you get a litre bottle of water left in the room I assumed at this level it would be free but no. Easy for shops restaurants and public transport.I had s nice stay and would stay again.
We loved everything about this hotel. The room we stayed in was very comfy, shower was great, breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, staff is very well trained and helpful, a special shout out to Jonathan who helps with luggage ecc, he went out of his way to help us. Thanks Jonathan!! (We are the couple from Brazil). Location is superb, Las Condes is one of the best neighborhoods in Santiago. The hotel is 2 min walk from the train station. We could not use the pool/jacuzzi as they are located at an open sky areao which makes the pool surroundings cold in the fall/winter. We highly recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to coming back soon!
This hotel located in the business district of Las Condes is definitely a safe bet in Santiago. The service is good, be careful when taking a car through the hotel. Sometimes the drivers are charging more than double.
The Hotel is located in Las Condes in a very nice and convenient place in Santiago. The amenities are great. It is very modern and the staff is very kind and professional. The breakfast is very complete and the Capriccio resto bar is very nice and convenient. All in all I will definitely recommend the Matina Las Condes Hotel
Have stayed here three nights during a business trip. On the positive side: always very friendly staff and a nice breakfast with a good amount of options. Have got a twin bed room, the bed was small and the mattress was quite soft but sleep was o.k. When looking to the details, you see that the room is since some years in operation, but everything was clean. They put a bottle of still mineral in the room (a filled mini bar is also present) without notice that this has a price of US-$ 5; which was slightly a surprise for me when checking out. Also missing was a tea / coffee maker which is nearly nowadays standard in all hotel in this category. All in all a rougly good hotel but not Premier as announced by themselves
I stayed for 8 nights at this hotel. When I checked out there five different room rates charged. There was an approximate 40% difference between the rates. The explanation was that there was an exchange rate fluctuation, which was not true. On top of this one day the hotel could not provide hot water in the room. I would never stay at this hotel again. They advertise guaranteed pricing, not so!
I' ve been at this Hotel for one day (thanks good). When I did my check out the surprise has come. Employees are very repugnant, seems that they don't like guests, if you ask for a doubt, be ready for ugly faces showing off for you. As I sad before, they should take care of guest better, much better. They should give more training for their employee.
Location is fine for those who want to explore and experience Las Condes. Three blocks away, you'll find the beautiful Arauco Park and Parque Araucano Mall, where you can find good options for lunch and dinning, in an open area. The hotel is a regular four stars. Breakfast is ok, room provides a good sleeping quality, but the keys system needs to be changed, 'cause the card/key looses its capacity to open the room door, at least once a day.
Comfortable business hotel in busy Las Condes district in Santiago. Good an friendly service, comfortable rooms and good breakfast at affordable rates. Across the street from my office and Starbucks is a priceless plus. 15 minute walk from shops and restaurants at Parque Arauco shopping mall
Helpful front desk in terms of arranging local tours, helping with postage and printing of travel vouchers. In-house restaurant has good menu at reasonable prices so we did not need or want to eat elsewhere. Quiet room despite party and traffic noise outside.
The service and room were exceptional. The location was close to many sites, restaurants and shopping. I look forward to returning and staying there. We were there for only 3 days and only got a taste of what the city has to offer
Hotel staff all very friendly and helpful most spoke at least a little English while reception staff all spoke it well. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms well appointed and spotless.Bed very comfortable Plenty of choice at breakfast
Part of a group tour and had to endure a chaotic booking in process. This was made worse by the fact that nobody pointed out that there were two towers to the hotel, connected by a "bridge". Room good. Wifi good. Breakfast good. Concierge excellent. He recommended a restaurant down the road.
Very nice hotel, with modern decoration. Nice bar for a glass of wine after a working day. The restaurant has very nice dishes. The hotel is really close to a subway station (200mt), which helps a lot to visit touristic places in the city and just 15 min walk from a mall and a park. Very good location. Rooms are clean and modern.
Clean and very silent room. Located close to Parque Arauco mall, one of the best of Santiago, with a lot of good restaurants and stores for shopping. There is a simple gim, but helps if you don´t want to go outside for a running. The Parque Arauco, is a very nice place to do, so. There is a swimming pool and a jacuzzi on the rooftop, that you cna take a very good wiew of Andes Mountains
My stay was trouble-free, except for the distance from the popular sites. This was actually okay considering the tour company I used, Touristik, picked me up daily and their main departure point was at the swank mall - Parque Arauco - just a few hops and a jump away. No complaints whatsoever about their very helpful staff (sp. Fabian y Karina), quick check-in/out process, tasty complimentary breakfast or the very timely car service they arranged to pick me up and drop me off at the airport (which was not as expensive as the taxi scam I thwarted). If/when I return if on business, I would likely stay there.
Internet service is terrible even if you choose to pay for it as I did. Don't come to this hotel if you need to get work done on the Internet. The rest is fine but hotels should understand how PARAMOUNT is good Internet service for traveling people. Getting work done and being able to talk with your kids is of utmost importance!
The hotel is very well localized in Santiago. The breakfast is good and some of the rooms are good, but if you get unlucky to get one of the old ones (like I did this time...) then the experience is really not that great.
Hotel is almost a budget-luxury hotel. For U$120/night, you can sleep at a great hotel, with a panoramic pool, jacuzzi, small gym, excelent breakfast and a room with a great view to the mountains or the city. Staff was excelent in helping me, even when i couldn't speak spanish properly. They have a van service that takes you to a great mall nearby and also bus services to the sky centers.
Already a good option, but keeps improving at every visit. Better service and the hotel is kept in great shape. Staff is more friendly and efficient at each visit. Very well located, definitely a good choice while in Santiago
I travel extensively to Chile for business and after staying in various hotels in different locations in Santiago I believe this is the best hotel for me. Parking is free, restaurant is really good, walking distance to a mall, a block away from the subway station and two blocks away from Parque Arauco. There is also a starbucks next door and Juan Valdez too, so you have different options. Easy access to freeway and public transportation. Hotel is modern and sharply decorated.
Hotel is good. Has a good cost benefit. The service is average and the rooms are okay. Don't expect much but for the value that they charge is quite fair. Restaurant closes early and food in the room is not good.
Pros: * Large selection of items for breakfast * Clean room * Short walk to subway station Cons: * Front desk staff could not accommodate a basic request (see below) * Not the best location for sightseeing but good for visiting businesses in Las Condes We stayed four nights. There were two of us in the room, but on two occasions housekeeping only provided one bath towel. I called housekeeping to ask for a second bath towel but nobody answered, so I went to the front desk. The guy working there told me he could not give me one because they were locked away, and he did not have a key. What hotel cannot give a guest a bath towel?
It's the 4th time I was in this great hotel. The staff is very nice, friendly and it seems they like to work there. The breakfast is very good! The room has a good space for the clothes for one week and is very clean. I totally recommend it.
Very good hotel in a nice place (close to good restaurants and malls). Room quite spacious, clean and modern. Great breakfast. Cons: poor wi-fi and the heating system simply turned the room in a near desertic place, zero humidity causing disconfort during the night. Asked front desk to fix or to have an humidifier but not happened.
This is a well located hotel, nice rooms, warm staff and with excellent breakfast. The only problem is the wifi access - very low, sometimes off. We asked about that, but were told it was working as usual, which probably means, no working several hours of the day.
Stayed in this hotel for two weeks on a business trip. Rooms are average size and basic, nothing special. Good internet connection. The bar situated at the entrance of the hotel is rather cold (yes it was winter but still…) when the door at the entrance opens you feel the cold draft coming in. Check in and checkout was efficient and quick. Breakfast buffet, well I have mixed feelings all the cold food is nice but the scrambled eggs and bacon or sausages are at the same temperature as the cold dishes. This is a point management has to check and correct. As to the restaurant, excellent service the waiters are really professional and doing a great job. Now do not worry here the cooked food is hot. I tried all the fish dishes they have on the menu and they are all excellent. Cooked to perfection, nice presentation and tasting great.
I had stayed in BW and BW+ before and this is my first time staying in BW Premier. The hotel is modern, cozy and even have a rooftop pool. Tried breakfast and dinner in different restaurants and quality is good. The hotel is located on the east side whereas the airport is on the west side, so journey to airport cost slightly more (about $45 dollars).
From the friendly staff to ideal location, my first stay in a Best Western Hotel will have me considering staying in others for my housing purposes. There are many areas for food and shopping to keep you entertain in financial district of Santiago.
We stayed in this hotel for five nights in between moves. Underground parking, heated pool with a really great view, comfortable beds, laundry service, and complimentary breakfast featuring fruit, pastries, cereal, toast, eggs, bacon or sausauge, potatoes, coffee or hot chocolate, and fresh juices. Bathroom was spacious and shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water available. Location was great for getting around. Room service was very affordably priced and tasty the one time we tried it. Just what we needed to rest and recuperate after the stress of moving. A real value - we are accustomed to paying $300/night for rooms like this in Santiago, and our bill was just over half that.
An option to consider while on a business trip to Santiago. Nice comfortable rooms, friendly service and good location. Fair food in the restaurants and good instalations. House keeping can be improved, but an all around good experience at a reasonable price.
I have stayed here quite some times. The reception is really nice, friendly and helpful. The architecture is really modern, clear structure but also decorated with warm looking furniture and colours. Breakfast and Lunch is good and convenient. Rooms are clean and always with enoigh space to put all my clothes, even for two persons suficient. Bath is modern and there was a Gym and a nice swimmingpool upstairs: you have a nice view to the Andes mountains from there. I think the price quality relation is extraordinary and the closeness to Metro station and the city centre only 10 min away is great.
I arrived in a Monday about 11am, the check in was only from 3 pm, so, I lunched at the hotel, good meal. I asked if they already had any room available and they got a room to me. All the installation looks new. I had check out on Tuesday. It was a efficient check out.
Rooms were clean, service was excellent. Very helpful staff. Safe environment , lots of security without being obvious. Walking distance to transportation, the largest mall in South America, Starbucks across the street. A great experience.
This is a good quality hotel although I would question the 4.3 star rating that it has given itself. I spent 5 nights at this hotel and can confirm the comfort of the room, the excellence of hotel staff and facilities. The restaurant serves excellent meals, although the menu is limited. Located out of the town centre, transfer to the airport will cost approx $US45, and the nearby metro will take you into the city centre in approximately 15 minutes for about 660 pesos. The area around the hotel is a business district and very safe, although there are not many restaurants nearby. However, it is an easy walk to the supermarket, huge shopping centre and pickup point for the hop on-hop off bus. The main criticism for this hotel is that the breakfast is below the standard normally provided at this level. The breakfast options did not vary over the 6 days of my visit, and not helped by hard (white) bread rolls most mornings (The wholemeal rolls were quite ok however). The wait staff were always very friendly and helpful but not particularly vigilant with offering coffee on arrival. The coffee, however, was good when it arrived! The hot selection was very limited, only scrambled egg or scrambled eggs with ham / bacon or sausage. Unchanged over the 6 mornings, so I am confident that this is the normal buffet offering. The room (1104), whilst quiet and comfortable, could do with some maintenance (ceiling paint) and suffers from awkward bathroom configuration. Otherwise it is a hotel that will provide a relaxing and enjoyable stay for guests.
Nice location, close to the metro station. Rooms are on the small side but very clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant is ok, i didn't enjoy the breakfast. the pizza place is great but unfortunately that closed early and didn't open on Sunday's. Plenty of places to eat in the mall nearby so food not an issue. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
The Best Western Marina Las Condos is an excellent hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel is in a excellent location for visiting Santiago. The room was clean and housekeeping services were great. The breakfast presented great food. A good mix for different types of guests.
Very friendly hotel with good facilities . Works well for business travellers. Rooms are well appointed and everything works !! Outside bar has a good atmosphere although service was a little slow. Noisy at night if you are near the atrium .
Superb hotel in Santiago. Great service from all the staff. The reception staff in particular were very helpful and they spoke good English. They very kindly managed to provide our room much earlier than expected given that we were weary following a transatlantic flight. The room itself was lovely with a comfortable bed. Wifi was available in our room as well as throughout the hotel. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel was in a nice safe area with the metro station less than 5 minutes walk away. There is a good shopping mall also only 5 minutes walk away. This is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it.
Very nice hotel, with very kind staff. Clean, comfortable, cool neighborhood around, and the best of all: price range was really good. I definitely recommend to stay here in your next trip to Santiago!
Hotel was in very safe, clean and modern area of Santiago. It was near the metro system and close to shopping and eating facilities. It was in easy walking distance from new modern shopping malls and the staff was easily able to make suggestions on where we could go for different needs or desires we had while in this short trip to Santiago, Chile. It is an ideal area of the city to stay in and far safer than the older downtown area of Santiago.
We enjoyed a 5 night stay at this facility. Very nice place. Clean very convenient to transportation. Staff was most helpful and language was not too much of a problem. A lovely restaurant and breakfast area were available. I would return.
I booked a group of twelve into this hotel after our cruise. This is a very nice hotel with extremely helpful staff in a great neighborhood. The price is unbelievable for the quality of accommodations. I would readily stay here again and will be recommending this property to others through my travel agency.
What a very nice staff. Everyone was great throughout the stay. However, when we arrived the room was hot with a single tissue and no hair dryer. We went to happy hour after a very trying day. When we returned to our room, it was still hot even though we left the air conditioner running at a low temperature. We called the desk and an employee arrived to check the A/C. We were then offered 2 different rooms, all of which were hot. Still no tissues nor hair dryer. The happy hour food was mediocre but the beer was cold and the staff were excellent and attentive. Breakfast was good. The reviews I read prior to booking showed 4.5 stars. No way. Will not stay there again.
Nice place to stay. Well located, good service, nice lounge and rooms. Gym needs more equipment but all works fine. Nice pool and Jacuzzi, very nice to relax and enjoy the view. A lot of Brazilian people due to location and Portuguese speaker staffs. Breakfast good with o a lot of varieties.
A very nice hotel outside the city center of Santiago but very convenient, just a few minutes walk from the Metro station, and less than 30 minutes from the airport. Area around is within business district and feel very safe walking at night. Hotel is very new and clean.
We stayed one night prior to joining a cruise. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff friendly. We chose to eat at the bar and the meal was very tasty and quickly served. Breakfast was wide ranging and well presented with plenty of seating. On the morning of departure the company we chose to pick us up failed to showed as arranged. The company South Excursions blatantly lied about about their reason for the over 2 hour delay. The staff tried very hard to sort out the problem and were so helpful We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice place to stay that is welcoming and very helpful, with delightful staff We had the chance to catch a glimpse of a couple marrying and that was the icing on the cake
In Santiago, this hotel is located conveniently to shopping, restaurants and the subway. A nice part of town, and a very comfortable hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here in the future.
Our group booked this hotel largely based on price as were transiting from a cruise and didn't need an expensive downtown hotel but didn't want an airport hotel either ... this Best Western was a pleasant surprise with excellent service and a modern urban feel.
The location is perfect if you wish to be near one of the best places in Santiago for shopping. Just a few blocks away form the metro and the Araucano Park which has beatiful green areas and roses gardens. The hotel offers parking, wifi, clean and comfotable rooms with more than conveninet facilities. The restaurant and the bar have very good menu and they are not expensive at all.
Receptionists excellent, helpful and courteous. Room service very good. Enjoyed our stay. Restaurant menu a little disappointing but overall would recommend for a visit to Santiago s it is very central to amenities.
Just a five minute walk to the metro and access to all Santiago has to offer, we saved four or five hundred U.S. dollars by not staying at the cruise line's poorly-reviewed hotels and choosing Marina Las Condes instead. Great bargain, included breakfast, nice in-hotel restaurant for dinner and good residential neighborhood for strolling. The hotel has a small gym, beautiful swimming pool, modern, soundproof, well-ventilated rooms, strong and free WiFi, terrific, friendly multi-lingual staff and a Starbucks across the street! Thanks Best Western.
Very good service. the hotel has a nice modern look and everything is well maintained. Very good location also. the restaurant is really good and the hotel has a decent bar. Very good breakfast. Hotel's location is excellent. Also, meeting rooms look really good and they give an excellent service.
We were there only for one night but appreciate the area which is located near the largest shopping mall in South America. Nice people, Impressive area of skycrapers all different one from another, For those who like the US style modern hotel this is the place!
This hotel is clean, close to the subway and has an excellent full breakfast. Disappointed that the hot tub was not working. Doesn't need a concierge because the staff is very helpful about nearby restaurants, directions, places to exchange money, etc. Most of the staff gave excellent service. Limited English was sometimes a challenge.
This hotel is in a very nice section of the city, close to a subway stop and near a large park and shopping mall. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is modern and extremely clean. The breakfast included many fresh fruits and juices along with eggs, meats, cereals, pastries, etc. The wait staff served excellent coffee and kept our cups full as we made breakfast our main meal for the day.
this is a good location for this modern hotel with swimming pool on the 12 th floor, quiet and clean... staff very efficient, a hot buffet breakfast is included and only few minutes from the subway...
Great value for an excellent location. Large clean rooms, good full breakfast and helpful friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. Close to the major mall, transportation, parks and restaurants.
Stayed 4 day here , check in was fast & with 2 comp drinks, this is a Exceptional hotel and staff . made us feel at home, 10 floor room was clean and big. a full breakfast is served everyday , free Wi Fi. the manquehue metro station is 3 min walk across from the station is a mall and 10 blocks the other way is a very big mall and the stop for the hop-on hop-off bus tour. this is one of the best Best western I stayed at . this hotel is comfortable, modern has a great staff , in a good location near shopping and restaurants and is a good value. If in Santiago DEFINITELY stay here
We stayed here after our cruise and chose it because it is only 1/2 block from the subway and about 15 minutes to the local mall. The area is about 25 minutes from old town Santiago by subway, which is easy to use and clean. Check in was easy, and all of the staff spoke excellent English. Each room has a safe for personal belongings and a refrigerator with wine and beer for sale, but you can use it to store a carton of milk or a bottle of your own water. There is a roof top swimming pool on the 12 floor in the old building with spectacular views. A full breakfast is served each morning with egg, ham, pastries and fruits. The staff was very accommodating in extending our check out hours to 3pm since our flight was not until 7pm. I paid only $107 per night using the Best Western website and thought this was an exceptional value for the quality and service of this clean and modern hotel. Nothing fancy, but lots of people use it for the convenience. I noticed many airline pilots and flight attendants checking in. They also allow up to 4 devices to connect to the Wi Fi concurrently. Highly recommended.
Made the reservation online, months later we called for a shuttle from the airport and was delivered to the hotel which is quite a ways from the airport. The check in was quick, the room was great and CLEAN. The free breakfast was HUGE, best of all the Best Westerns I've stayed at. Check out was simple and a 3 am ride to the airport via shuttle was on time. One caveat, they do NOT have their own shuttles but farm it out. So they are not free. $22 per couple from the airport. Even so I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Oh and fee wifi and4 channels of US news tv.
it is very good hotel. good location for business. but it seems far away from center of city if you want to go around for traveling. I want to recommend this hotel for business. in my opinion, Breackfast is nice and good service. It make me feel so good every morning. I recommend this hotel for business not traveling.
My wife & I have stayed at Best Western Hotels before, & the staff have consistently been very good. Clean rooms & usually well located. One of the few chains that includes breakfast. Usually well located & are within walking distance of areas of interest.
This contemporary hotel is well located; short drive from the airport, easy walk to the Metro. It is part of the world-wide Best Western brand so making/changing reservations is simple. We reserved a few weeks prior to arrival at a very reasonable rate of 107 USD/night. Foreign visitors pay no tax so that was all we paid. There is a small, underground garage with security gates. Parking is free. Check-in and check-out were speedy and accurate. Everyone working at the front desk speaks clear English. During our stay each employee we encountered was very willing to assist guests. Room 552 is in the Green Building which is adjacent to the Red Building. The two buildings seem as one, access is through a hallway. The lobby is in the Red side and the breakfast room is in the Green side. The large windows overlook the busy street in front of the hotel. One panel of the windows open. There is no street noise when the window is closed. There are black out curtains. The room lighting is good with bed side lamps for reading. The closet is roomy with a safe large enough for laptops. The climate control is easy to operate and works well. There are several electric outlets at the desk and near the bed. The king-size bed is made with good quality sheets and comforter. The pillows are average. The mattress is neither too firm nor too soft. We slept well. The bathroom is good size. The towels are very nice and extra-large. There are no wash-clothes (or flannels). The water pressure was fairly strong but the temperature fluctuated wildly between cool and super-hot. The shampoo, shower gel and lotion amenities are nice. Bring your own hair conditioner. Everything in the room was in excellent working condition and very clean. The wi-fi is free and worked well in the room and the public areas. The included breakfast is served from around 6 until 10:30. There is a good variety of hot and cold foods, including eggs, bacon, potatoes and veggies, cereals with fruits and yogurts, cold cuts and breads. There is a nice selection of pastries and cakes. We enjoyed the food and the service. The coffee was not very good but there is a Starbucks across the street. This hotel is modern, comfortable, and a good value.
Good hotel: Good location near business area and near shopping malls, which offer alternatives for food and entertrainment. Staff is very useful, good breakfast, and good on site restaurant. My only complain is the poor Internet service. This was my third stay this month on this hotel and each time the service becomes unreliable beginning late afternoon or at night.
Stayed for 4 nights, on business. Location: Fantastic, few minutes walk to Manquehue metro station, great neighbourhood Service: Great. Given a room in 5th floor, but some smell was coming from restaurant kitchen while window is open, so requested a room on 10th floor. No problem. Breakfast: good spread but a bit boring after 2 days, no menu changes Gym: Small but served the purpose Room: good size, with all amenities except no in room cofee/tea making facilities. Front desk: understand english reasonably well. Had problem when tried to ask for breakfast take away due to very early morning checkout. They arranged some coffee, sandwitch, juice and cake at 5:30am for us. Overall good. If they can arrange in room tea/coffee facilities, then it will be perfect.
Close to the convention center and a big shopping mall, this hotel offers a good option, not too expensive, in one of the best neighborhoods in Santiago. There are many options of restaurants around and the Hotel's restaurant is a reasonable one for a traveller. The only thing of note is that it appears that no taxi driver knows where it is located. So, always have the address with you. The roof poll is very very nice. Some rooms have a wonderful view of the mountains. Ask for one
Very good location, clean, new, beds are too soft, restaurant good enough for business breakfast. Bad Room is clean but towels feel cheap. Internet connection fair. Overall service is acceptable but not great, although, some individual are very nice and accommodating. Yes, will return because of location, but it feels you don't get as much as you pay for. They could be a much better choice with a few improvements.
This hotel was clean with a spacious room & everything worked beautifully. Excellent service with their laundry department and it's in a really accessible location. The Wifi is a bit sketchy that you would expect from a business type hotel, but it's worth it for the price.
I spent 23 nights at this hotel in September 2015. It was well located to my Santiago office but there is not much else around with regards to shops or restaurants. Good points: - Staff at the front desk were very helpful - The bed was very comfy (an important point in my books) - The shower was an "in bath" type but the water didn't change temperature on you so i was very happy with it. Bad points - The WiFi was horrible. I paid extra for the "best" high speed they had but it was useless in the room. Impossible for Facetime or even reading on line newspapers. So you need to go to the foyer to get anything close to decent - The food options were lacking both in house and close by. - No kettle in the room so an easy instant coffee was not available. I saw airline staff staying at the hotel which made sense. Nice, clean and comfy hotel for a short stay. Overall a nice hotel, I can't blame them that I got bored of the food due to my long stay, but a the WiFi needs to be improved.
Nice clean modern hotel , good location ,close to Metro + bus stop and shopping centres. Helpful staff. Had to ask for complimentary kettle and teabags/coffee for room use .Breakfast OK ,usual basic items . Didn't use Swimming Pool which looks small .Overall , lovely stay and would stay there again
This is a modern business hotel, well located in Las Condes, close to a park and to one of the top malls in town -Parque Arauco. Rooms are large but somewhat lack character. Bathrooms are spacious and confortable and everything looks clean. Breakfast is OK, average for a hotel of this class. Overall, a good place to stay if you get it at the right price or if you are on business in this area.
Spent 2 weeks in this hotel for business travel. When checking in, explained that I wanted a room as far away from the elevators as possible as I would be working a few night shifts. This was not a problem and I was given a room at the far end of the hall on one of the higher floors in the new tower. Room was spacious, clean. There was always hot water and pressure for morning showers. Found all the staff friendly and always willing to help even if very few understand and/or speak English/French. With my limited Spanish and sign language, I always managed to obtain the information I needed. Ate at the hotel restaurant 3 times and the food never disappointed (had beef tenderloin, vegetable lasagna and spaghettini). I actually found the prices at the hotel restaurant cheaper than other restaurants. I traveled with a colleague who suffers from Celiac disease and the kitchen staff were very accomodating. They even brought gluten free bread and remembered when we went back. Very nice touch. The waiters were also always thankful when we added "servicio" to the tab. The breakfast buffet was adequate and no better/worse than other hotels. The only area for improvement is the service for tea/coffee. The current process is a model of inefficiency. There is insufficient staff to serve at tables and they become upset if you get up and serve yourself. Thank God for a Starbucks across the street because the hotel coffee is really bad (smells like paint thinner). The location is unbeatable and close to subway stops and the mall. I would definitely stay there again.
Santiago is a really expensive city, so for the price of this hotel you don't expect this kind of quality and location there. First the bad: Room service is supposed to work until midnight with the full menu, but I called at 11:30 and they told me that they only had the late night menu at that time for the kitchen was closing (I really didn't expected that specially on a Saturday night). Also the Cesar Salad was a toast and lettuce (that's a first for me!). Bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety. I think if I wouldn't stay there again though.
Is not too expensive, located in Las Condes, is a real nice place to stay, rooms are comfortable, people is very friendly. A few minutes away from fine dining restaurants and 25 minutes from the Airport. Rooms have outlets for me to plug several devices at the same time and no need of adapters.
I stayed at this hotel for a few nights and had a great experience. The room was fantastic, with a spectacular view of Santiago. Everything was clean, good breakfast, good experience. Natassia at the front desk was extremely helpful upon check in and helped make this hotel a great experience!
We stayed at this hotel twice while visiting Chile (we took a midweek trip to valparaiso and they even held our big bags for us until we returned). Hotel is clean, affordable, and very close to a metro station which gets you into the heart of the city. Would definitely stay here again.
New and beautiful decor of the common areas, very nice swimming pool with a view! The subway is just a few minutes walking-distance from the hotel. Wonderful and huge breakfast! Nice bed and bathroom and restaurant - I have ordered a delicious veggie lasagna!
POSITIVE: At the beginning we had problems with our booking but the manager Eduardo helped us and solve efficiently. The room is super clean, large and comfortable bed, the location in Las Condes is great especially for those who wants to go to the mountains (El Colorado, Valle Nevado…) NEGATIVE: We had few problems with our reservation and the receptionist Belem was awful from start to finish the process that she was supposed to take care of. She had absolutely no charisma and was super slow to solve all the problems. As soon as we arrived at the hotel the first impression wasn't good at all, but the rest of the staff helped us to get a better impression. The air conditioning is a problem, we tried to keep the temperature between 25°C to 27°C and the first room was kept up to 18ºC. They upgraded us to another room and the temperature was kept to 22°C (almost the same problem). This isn't good for cold days in Santiago.
This nicely designed hotel is fairly new and located close to shopping (Parque Aurauco), restaurants and subway. The room was spacious with beautiful mountain views. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Service great. The only negative thing was that it took forever to get a cup of coffee at breakfast. The waiter was running around serving coffee -- but obviously that system does not work on weekends when the majority of guest arrive at the same time for breakfast. It would be better if they had self serve coffee on the buffet table.
