Aiden by Best Western South Reno

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We only live an hour away, so we're in Reno quite frequently for day trips, but occasionally, we attend events that get out late so we sometimes stay in a hotel overnight and drive home the next morning. We've driven by this location for years, but never really paid attention to it, so when it popped up as available for a Saturday night near where our event was, I went ahead and made a reservation. It's very unassuming, 2-story hotel, and not really noticeable just driving by it. Since we had a reservation, the check in process was very quick. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the A/C worked great. The property is actually quite a bit bigger than what it looks like from the street and they have ample, well lit parking areas. The swimming pool area looked quite inviting, although, we weren't there long enough to go swimming. Check-out the next morning was also quick, even though they were assisting guests who had been evacuated due to a nearby wildfire. We will definitely stay here again whenever we have an overnight requirement.

The room had blinds that did not function so anyone could look in on us, which was disturbing to my wife. The staff was unsympathetic and did not offer another room or to repair the problem or to find us another room somewhere else (they claimed being sold out and not having maintenance on duty - sounds like a their problem). Dingy, noisy place too.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are not spacious, the walls are paper-thin, and the water pressure is almost non-existent! The staff is really not that friendly. There is not a complemetary breakfast option or coffee. The attached restaurant only opens at 7 am and is way too expensive. There are better options in Reno for sure.

The staff exhibited extreme rudeness and denied my request to extend my stay. I inquired with the employee on the phone in the morning about the reason for my inability to extend, and she was compelled to put me on hold and consult with the manager, as she was unaware of the reason. Upon her return, she informed me that the extension was denied due to “issues that we had yesterday,” which left me deeply perplexed. When I asked for clarification on the specific issue, she responded with, “Well, you extended your stay at 11:30 when you should have been here before 11 to do so.” At this juncture, I am convinced that the management harbors a personal vendetta against me, as this is an untenable justification for compelling an individual to depart when all I had done was remain in my room and engage in work on my computer throughout the day. I refrained from being loud or rude. I paid over $300 for my stay due to the exorbitant deposit, and this is merely a modest motel six. Therefore, her decision to deny my extension solely because I departed later than the desired time, despite the time I was granted by the front desk the previous evening, is unwarranted and caused me to miss a Zoom meeting that I was hosting remotely. Consequently, I am filled with anger, as I had already endured a poor treatment experience regardless of my attempts to be accommodating. Despite my efforts to be kind, I was still treated with disrespect. Consequently, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, as this is the second time this has occurred to me. As a platinum member, I was under the impression that I would be eligible for late checkouts, but unfortunately, I was denied the opportunity so I had to leave the room with the management present, even after I had been in the shower and was naked, as they had been banging on the door while I was showering. The low occupancy on that day provided a hint as to why she was denying my request, that it was not based on any valid reasoning. It was simply a matter of personal preference from a rude staff. This has been a recurring pattern with Best Western hotels. I am beginning to realize that the tier of membership does not matter with Best Western. The amenities and perks associated with each tier are never actually implemented or offered to me, making it almost futile to strive for the top tier.

Affordable, pet friendly hotels in Reno are not created equally! We've stayed in a few so far and this is definitely the best experience we've ever. This hotel is affordable, clean, easy to get to, felt safe to leave my car unattended at night, and has rooms that open up to the outside vs a hallway; and that checks all my boxes!

The hotel room was clean and the person that checked us in was very friendly. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel.

Overall my stay was great, first I will tell you the good things, but PLEASE read through the entire review. Room was decent size, King, 1st floor, decent bed, Keurig coffee maker, a must for a 10 day stay like mine. Rates were reasonable. Never requested housekeeping, but always available if I needed a quick towel swap, garbage emptied or more tissue. Shower was always hot with good pressure. Television had decent # of channels. Towels and sheets all clean, white and unstained. Parquet style floors were clean, usually with those you end up with dirty socks/feet after a few trots to the door or shower, but these were very clean. Front desk staff were kind, professional and pleasant, offering this Diamond Member two bottles of water upon arrival, but no snack as is customary. Now the down side. No iron or board, just a steamer, inadequate for nice crisp creases, as I prefer in my clothing. Ended up having an iron delivered by Amazon. Room, even with all lights on was dark, mid day. Clock is difficult to configure, had to call maintenance in to reset for daylight savings, couldnt figure out how to set alarm at all. My room didnt have any bugs, but it was concerning when you notice a national pest control company come in and fumigate. Not just once, but twice, for the same room. EVERY other BW I have stayed in has a breakfast and coffee in the lobby. Not here. They have hot water and tea, saying that their are coffee makers in the rooms. No breakfast, not even a bowl of fruit, packaged muffins, granola bars, etc by the hot water. NOTHING. They did however have a restaurant connected to the hotel, but they didnt even offer a discount for the guests who choose to eat there. This is a missed opportunity for the restaurant to get customers. I ate breakfast elsewhere. Finally, check in was a nightmare. $1200 stay and I ran my credit card through their machine, it approved, and showed immediately on my cc app that the charge was authorized and pending. (Meaning that the credit charge was being held on my credit card) However, THEIR desk computer errored out, which mean they couldnt see that the charge went through. Not MY fault, THEIR COMPUTER errored out. I showed them that their credit card machine authorized the $1200 dollars and the charge was pending. Not good enough. And the desk clerk told me that this has happened before on that computer. I was left scrambling trying to figure out how to pay for the hotel room since that pending charge left me near credit limit. When they tried to run it again, of course it declined. With a pending charge, if it doesnt eventually go through and get processed (which their computer would have to do, it takes at least 5-7 business days for those charges to come off, this was a Friday) The alternative I had was to pay a single night stay and figure out what to do for the remainder of the stay. Sure, they could have just let me stay, knowing that they could run the card again in a couple of days, but they refused. So I paid the first night from my debit card, funds needed for food and gasoline. I had to call my husband to help me out, who was 800 miles away. They required him to take a photo of the front and back of both his driver's license and photo id and sign a credit card authorization form for the remainder of the 9 nights. It was obvious to me that this was not the first time this has happened since they knew right away what needed to be done and one of the front desk clerks said this HAS HAPPENED in the past. I am not sure how often, but once is enough that they should get it fixed on their end. Like I said, the hotel was good, for the price. Would I stay here again? Maybe. I would be way worried though. You just dont mess with people's money. What would have happened if I couldnt rely on my spouse to bail me out of the situation? If it was any other situation I would have been stuck with no funds nor place to stay for the next 9 nights of my work trip. If this happened to you could you magically come up with ANOTHER 1200 to pay out until the original payment came off the pending on your charge card? So, if you do decide to stay here make sure you have them run your payment in on the computer on the right side of the desk. The one on the left is the computer the desk clerk said has given them problems in the past with erroring out.

The Aiden was a very enjoyable stay. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The following morning I accidently left some equipment in the room, and a very kind and friendly maid quickly retrieved it for me-- with a very warm smile! The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and everything worked as it was supposed to. I was quite pleased with my stay! Highly recommend!

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time! The rooms are roomy, and the beds are very comfortable and modern. The staff is friendly, and everything is very clean...they even had someone out in the pool area cleaning and sanitizing all the pool chairs and tables! The pool area is beautiful and great for beating the summer temps in NV! I will definitely stay again.

Needed a last minute hotel for a last minute work trip, and one that allowed my dog to accompany me. I have had great luck in the past with Best Western properties when traveling with my dog, and the Aiden was no expception! The hotel was very clean, the rooms was comfortable and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. While I don't have unrealistic expectations about Best Western properties, the Aiden was better than I expected, and stands out amongst my stays over the last few years. If you're looking for a comfortable room, at a modern hotel where everything in the room works, your doggo is welcome, and is conveniently located, then The Aiden is your place. It was my first time staying there, and I'll definitely stay there again if & when I need a place in Reno. Was only there for a night, but I had NO problems at all, and was pleasantly surprised by my visit.

We stayed at the Best Western Aiden in Reno the end of June for two nights. As we were traveling with our two dogs (which are short-haired and crated), I requested a ‘pet friendly' room. At over $200 per night, I thought the room would be decent, and that it included the pet fee (I mean, why else would you request a pet friendly room?). Unfortunately, the room was filthy and overpriced. Linoleum floors (ok..I expected that ) but they obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. In fact, they were so dirty I took a couple of towels and washed down the floor by hand! I've been in Motel 6 rooms that were cleaner and better appointed. To add insult to injury, after the stay they added another $68 to the bill! They should have paid me for cleaning their nasty room! The only positive about this motel was the front staff. They were courteous and friendly. But we will never stay at the Aiden again, and we travel to Reno often. It was definitely not worth almost $500 for only two nights!

Super clean, easy, friendly and fast checkin, helpful staff too. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Stayed one night on a road trip stopover so didn't see much else but it was a pleasant stay and a great value for the price.

My husband and I flew in late night (1145pm) and were in bed by 1am! Very clean and quiet; room 277. The bed was cozy, water in shower was hot, and location was very convenient. 10-minutes from the airport, any shops or food you'd need nearby. No complaints!

Great stay at the Aiden - we needed an affordable, dog friendly hotel while on a roadtrip and we were very happy with our stay. It exceeded expectations for the price paid, the room was sufficiently comfortable, clean, and the internet speed was strong.

It's an average room. Clean. It only has a weak shower with tiny shampoo/conditioner bottles. No tub. There's no closet and only a corner short rack to hang things on….strange. Bathroom is so small that you have to stand to the side to close the door….not nice. Reception was friendly. No breakfast included. We wont come back. Lighting at sink is very poor.

The Aiden is a lovely, very clean hotel. The room and bed were both very comfortable. My husband is disable with special mobility needs, the staff was considerate and accommodating of those needs. The Aiden also provides services for those traveling with their pets, the dog run was clean and well lit. I would defiantly recommend the Aiden to a traveling guest.

Love this newly-branded Best Western. Contemporary flair, all hard surface flooring, no breakfast, pet-friendly but super clean. Very comfortable bed, large mini fridge, didn't make use of fitness or pool so can't comment. Pet fee is high but the cleanliness was worth it.

Super comfortable room with lots of space. Very nicely decorated that comes with a desk, microwave, refrigerator and very comfy beds. The front staff person, Anne Marie, was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! She is the model of what customer service should be. Friendly, accommodating, nice, sweet, etc!!! The stay was MUCH more pleasant because of her.

Nice, clean and priced below market for the area. Friendly staff. Easy access to everything in the area like food and shopping. Overall a good value. Sadly, no breakfast or large availability of sundrees. Still, a good value. Area is walkable to the stores nearby.

OK, let's put the 5 rating in perspective. This is a two-star motel. It is not the same experience as a 5 at a luxury resort. But for that, the room has a midi-fridge (not mini), a microwave, and a safe. There's a good work desk. The beds are comfortable. Several eating options nearby. Large room, but low ceiling. My only specific criticism is that the room is fairly dark. The lamps are dim.

My favorite place to stay in Reno! Convenient location with plenty of restaurants around. The Two Chicks restaurant at the hotel has excellent food!!! Many stores nearby and an excellent brewery within walking distance, as well as, a bookstore.

Really like the rooms here. Like being able to park in front of your room. It is a bit noisy due to location but not too bad. There is no free breakfast like most best westerns but there is a good restaurant on site. The beds are very comfy. Like having a desk and a couch with an adjustable table attached. Plenty of storage space. Nice-sized fridge and good working microwave. WI FI was good. Nice and close to several casinos. Good access to airport.

The decor was beautiful and it all seemed brand new: clean. The rooms had outside entrances, but ours was facing a pretty courtyard and pool, so that added security. There seemed to be a lounge but it was not staffed. The pool was large and very nice.

We decided to give this one a try again for our last night of vacation. Pros: friendly staff, comfortable beds and pillows. Cons: we had issues previously about having black feet after walking in the room, this continues to be an issue. We had to use extra towels on the floor as rugs so we didn't sleep with black feet. My husband showered and said he did not want to be standing in the tub due to how grimy it felt. He warned us not to use the tub. There was a stain ring around tub, it doesn't seem like it was scrubbed. Lots of hair found on the floor throughout room, someone's contact from a previous stay. Late at night I noticed blood stain on the wall and floors. The only reason you'd want to stay is for a comfortable bed. We won't go back.

Outdoor entrances, but not all are drive up to your door and unload. Some face an inner courtyard where the pool is. There are two stories. The room is lovely but very dark. As long as the shades are up, the room is light. Our TV didn't work and the maintenance staff leaves at 4 PM. I assume they do not have their housekeeping staff check the TV when they come in to clean. Luckily we were able to watch the Presidential debate on my iPad. There is no grass for dog walking unless you walk near the pool which I believe is forbidden. They have a sandy “dog run” at the back. Trouble is, if there are other dogs there, you probably should wait to walk your dog there. The poop bags they offer are the thinnest, most fragile I have ever seen. They put dog families next to other dog families. That is probably NOT the best tactic. At one point all the dogs were barking because when one starts, the rest join in. The dog charge is excessive at $40/dog and the room charge is not a bargain. The room is large and decorated nicely. There is a nice size desk, desk chair and an easy chair. There is a dresser and lots of other surfaces to put your stuff on. The fridge is a nice size with a freezer section. This property may be one of the only drive up to your door motels in the US that was built or totally renovated in the last ten years. There is a breakfast and lunch place attached to the lobby, as well as many fast food places nearby.

I like the hotel. It has a very 50's-60's vibe with the open pool and layout, but has been updated to a more modern, industrial look and feel. BUT, there is NO breakfast, not even a coupon or discount for the ATTACHED restaurant! Room coffee only. There's a reason I've stayed at Best Westerns for the last 20+ years of travel. I'll stay at other BWs in the future.

Room was clean and the style of the hotel is new and refreshing. Comfortable stay but just a couple of issues. There is no maid service on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. We had a suite with full kitchen but no kitchen trash can. We had to empty trash everyday and there were no trash receptacles on the second floor. The front desk offered to take it if we brought it to them but that was a long walk from our room. This is not what I want to be doing on a 5 night stay on vacation. Staff were friendly.

This is the best hotel. I rate it a perfect 10 Excellent in everyway. Outdoor firepit near pool with turf where they have games to play. The rooms are very clean and beautifully designed. There us a restaurant called THE TWO CHICKS , where we ate breakfast at 6:30am. We found it quite nice.

It was a disappointing experience. The table wasn't clean, which already left a bad impression. When I asked the hotel staff for two bottles of water, they told me I needed to pay $1. However, I noticed another guest who was checking out didn't have to pay for theirs. It felt unfair and left me wondering why there was a difference in how we were treated.

The renovations are very nice, the rooms are great and you can tell that a lot of work and care was put into remodeling the hotel. But, it soon fell apart. We stayed 5 nights. Throughout our entire stay, despite 2 requests, we did not get room service. Each day we arrived back in our room, the towels were dirty and sheets unchanged and bed unmade. After the 4th day, I dropped a pile of dirty towels and 3 bags of trash on the reception counter. We were apologized to, but, that was it. My dad who wakes up early, sat in the lobby and enjoyed coffee while waiting for me. During that time, he was confronted by the staff and was accused of being homeless, not a guest. When she learned of her mistake, she made no attempt to apologize. We were ready to leave the hotel at that moment, but, we only had one more night. Nitpicking, the rooms are too dark. The lighting does not spread. You need to open the window to see, but, doing so exposed you to passers by. There are not enough power options for charging. When will hotels learn that usb chargers are a priority over a phone and alarm clock? The fridge didn't get cold. All of our ice cream melted. On the surface, the place looks great, but, when you dig in. The niceness is only on the surface. 8/11/2024 Update I arrived with the intention of revising my review, but after my stay, decided against it. My wife and I are on a 3 week motorcycle tour heading home and we have lots of laundry to do. So, we asked for a late checkout in order to get everything washed and packed. We were told by the desk to just ask in the morning and it would be fine. So I did that. Her answer was brief, "no we can't do that" and when I explained to her what was told to me last night, she contradicted me and said, "they told you to ask and we're saying no". Hence, the 2 stars stays put. FYI, we paid a premium price for this stay $180 just to be treated like sh**

Great location and reasonable price. I stayed here for 3 weeks in July for business. The rooms are spacious, have a separate bath and sink, great water pressure, comfortable beds with a medium firmness, microwave and mini-fridge. The floors are hardwood with a carpet-like mat around the bedframe. There is also a small lounge couch/day bed in the room. The lamps have USB sockets and the radio also has USB sockets. There's no closet rather, there is a large clothes hanger frame with an attached shelf for your luggage. Much roomier and easier to access than a standard closet. No breakfast is offered. Grocery store is only a 10 minute drive with traffic and there are multiple fast food restaurants around the area and across the street as well. Solid motel with nice, clean, spacious rooms.

Fine stay for a motel. Room was clean, beds a little soft though. Was annoyed when I discovered I had no hair dryer to dry my hair. My husband asked the front desk 2x with no luck. After waiting what I thought was beyond a reasonable time I finally went to the desk myself with my wet hair to find out what the issue was. They had no sense of urgency clearly but did finally take one out of an empty room. It was annoying and could've been resolved quickly and easily. Other than that, a decent stay.

Pool is advertised as heated but it was cold. Pet Friendly but the dog run is sand. Walking path for the dog at Anderson park was nearby. Whole foods nearby was great for healthy snacks. Easy Uber ride to peppermill or Atlantis casinos. Would not stay here again for this same type of trip.

I have been staying at the Aiden Best Western South Reno multiple nights for several years now. The staff is welcoming and efficient, the rooms are clean, everything in them works and the rates are more than reasonable. Location is ideal for my personal needs and Trader Joe's is just around the corner! The Aiden Best Western South Reno is my go to place to stay whenever I'm in the area.

We were treated very well by staff. Our late arrival was not an issue. Facility was clean and quiet. Parking was kind of crowded but still worked out. Plenty of places near by to walk to eat or shop. Plus we travelled with dog and the pet area was easily assessable. Would stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at Aiden! The pool and pool deck was immaculate and refreshing. Overall aesthetic of the entire property was contemporary/mid century and very tasteful. Our room was cozy and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Probably the best value in the area. We will definitely return next time we are in Reno.

Great hotel, location easy to get to, lots or eating places nearby along with lots of shopping. Staff was great, hotel room was spacious and clean.

Staying in a hotel can always be a gamble when you are looking for one with a decent rate that is also pet friendly. During a 2 week long road trip this was my 3rd hotel and the first stay that I actually enjoyed. We extended our stay and remained in town a couple extra nights because I liked the hotel and didn't want to have to chance ending up in another less comfortable place. Rooms are CLEAN and updated. Staff was friendly and easy to work with. I would stay here again for sure!

This hotel is a winner. Reasonable rates and lots of amenities. Best of all, the beds are extraordinarily comfortable. Wish I could take the beds home with us! The room was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of chargers and outlets. We come to the Reno area several times a year and we'll definitely be back. One note: the website mentions breakfast at the on site restaurant for a "nominal charge". The restaurant is not affiliated with the property and the prices are standard - no discount for hotel guests. However, the breakfast was excellent and the wait staff was friendly.

Super clean. would be great for kids, athletic enthusiasts, foodies, busy travelers, and those wanting to relax. Lawn games, pool (when open), decent sized gym, phenomenal restaurant, friendly staff, nicely modern and clean rooms.

Affordable, clean and nice get your deposit back within four hours of check out very nice staff and the lounge was a great vibe and just for booking a room I got two $2 dollar coupons off my drinks

The Aiden is solidly the best value in Reno, and is my go to place to stay when staying in the area. The rooms are well kept and comfortable and the amenities are great. If you're traveling with your pet, this place is the best place to stay with the exterior doors which make it easy for taking your pet out, and really nice pet run located at the back of the property. The staff is always very helpful and friendly.

My child and I sleep very well in this this hotel 3 nights because of fresh air. The room was very quiet and clean. We came because of my child Far Western tournament was here. We got late check in (at 11:45 pm) and late check out (at 3 pm) w/out any additional fees. We had a breakfast (at 6 am) and lunches in Two Chicks café every day because this is the best cage in the town. Whole Foods, and Trader Joey are in 5 min to walk. 20 min to walk to Reno Conventional center. The area around is very clean and safe.

We stay there for a volleyball tournament at the Reno-Sparks. The hotel is conveniently located and is walkable to the convention center, restaurants, mall, grocery stores, etc. The volleyball girls also really enjoyed the courtyard. Great for team-building activities. I would give it a higher rating but their front desk was extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic toward their guests. On the checkout day, we needed a place to store our 2 bags until my daughter finished her tournament in the afternoon because we didn't have a car to store them and the convention center doesn't allow luggage. There were 3 birdcage luggage carts in the hotel lobby where other guests had placed their bags for storage. 2 of them looked full but the 3rd one definitely had plenty of room for more bags. However the front desk lady, Paula refused to keep my bags and insisted that all 3 carts were already full. I explained to her my situation and really needed a place to store my bags She just shrugged her shoulders. She clearly had no desire to help and her attitude was extremely unsympathetic. I asked to speak to her manager. She also refused!! Also no room service on the weekends. So be prepared to take out your own trash.

I was at the emergency vet down the road and needed a place to stay while my pup was in the ER. The property was very clean, staff made sure there weren't weird people hanging around, the room had everything I needed, and the staff were polite. Rooms were surprisingly dark and quiet, and they had all the charging amenities right there for you.

Great location.Very good restaurant right on premises. Super friendly staff. Was able to check in early. Interesting decor. Room was plenty big. Enjoyed steamer instead of regular iron in our room. Great stay.

Check in is easy. Staff are friendly, helpful. Room is very clean. Hotel is easy access to restaurant, banks, gas stations, and malls. In the future when traveling to Reno we will definitely stay again.

Checked in on 2/02/2024 @ 3:14pm and was asked what floor I would like and I told the lady top floor would be nice. Was informed of the $100 refundable deposit which I got back right away on February 4. After a quick check in I was handed a Parking pass for my rental. Upon getting to my room 223, which has 2 queen beds. I found the room was decorated very nice and the bathroom is your typical motel style sink in the room while shower/tub & toilet is in a private room. Only thing I notice was why didn't they remove the old shampoo, Conditioner & soap dispensers if they went with individual bottles but hey I'm not gonna take a star down for that. As I stayed here from February 2-4, 2024 I was extremely satisfied and look forward to staying here again next month when I come out for a concert. Pros: • Cheaper than other surrounding hotels • Great Location • Close to the Airport • Lots of Great Restaurants & Shops nearby • across from MeadowsWood Mall Cons: • Remove the old dispensers in the shower if you not going to use them

If you do not want to stay at a casino in Reno this is by far the best place to stay. Good location and a good breakfast resturant co-located with the hotel. Across the street from a mall and next door to a Hobby Lobby.

The room was clean and updated. Great location just off the highway, close to everything- strip, airport and the Interstates, but still quiet. Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from. Also plenty of nearby shopping if needed.

Traveler type: Couple, 2 dogs, moving cross-country. Parking lot was large, fenced in, and well lit so we felt safe leaving some belongings in the car overnight. There were no issues overnight. There was a small dog relief area in the back of the parking lot that was a convenient place to take our 2 dogs. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel is located on a busy street so there were some concerns over the safety of our stuff but the parking lot size and lighting were ample. Also a very convenient location to walk to food options and stores. Overall, it was a great stay for the value!

Close to airport which provided great options and value for early flights and dinning options that are exceptional with a wide variety within walking distance. For breakfast you will not be disappointed with the on-site restaurant! Was an unexpected treat.

For a budget motel, the rooms are awesome. What ruined the experience and resulted in a 3 star rating was the broken window blind. The pull-chain was not working so I managed to close the blind but could not open it. Once management works out the bad blind, this place would be a 4 star rating.

I stay here every time I visit Reno. It is clean, comfortable and the service is always great. I love the outdoors area, the restaurant onsite is convenient and offers a great breakfast. I'm always happy with my stay.

Staff came in my room and threw away some of my belongings. The rest of my belongings were at the front desk. I came back to all my stuff gone. Owner refused to make it right. Major invasion of privacy here!

I love this hotel. The rooms are clean, the location is perfect for me and the staff is one of the best of any place I've stayed. They warmly welcome me, do their best (above and beyond) to meet my needs and the grounds are very secure.

Location was good, property outside well taken care of. Nice decoration of the room. 1st ROOM THE TOILET AREA WAS DISGUSTING IT HAD URiINE AROUND THE RIM AND BACK OF THE TOILET LID and the room was VERY DUSTY SUCH AS THE DESK TV AREA. Requested another room TOILET WAS CLEAN BUT THE ROOM WAS DUSTY AS WELL the FLOORS WERE DIRTY looks like it hadn't had a good cleaning such as sweeping and mopping. OVERALL THE BOTH ROOMS NEED A DEEP CLEANING. BTW NO ROOM SERVICE UNLESS YOU REQUEST IT. Ask the person who was cleaning the room Nextdoor for some clean towels he told me I would have to get them in the laundry room like WTH.

This hotel is old, dirty, loud, and overall disgusting. Everything needs to be replaced, the furniture is filthy and stained, the bathroom had mold or mildew and hairs in the shower, the tiles on the sink counter are coming off and loose, the carpet is dirty, the AC unit is super loud, the insulation is poor and you hear everyone else in the hall, above you etc. This place is gross and I advise avoid if possible.

Nice hotel. Wasn't as funky fun as the Aiden in St. George we stayed at two nights earlier. Pool was freezing cold - couldn't really get in, which was ridiculous in the middle of summer with 90+ temperatures, and people who have probably driven for 5+ hours to get there and need a good soak (like I did). The pool at the Aiden in St. George was an incredible temperature I was able to stay in for over two hours. This one, I was cold the entire time.

Nicely renovated mid century motel. Very clean and great for our dog! The pool side views are nice. The check in staff were super helpful! Our only complaint was that there were not any feather pillows, but we always bring our own, so no problem.

We were so tired after traveling and the check in was quick. Traveling with a larger family group of 8 people, including my elderly father with a walker. We had four rooms. The beds were comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Clean and very convenient and family friendly, The pool was clean and beautiful. Close to the shopping mall and great restaurants. We will for sure stay again. Keep up the good work, your place will be a success.

Team service was courteous and efficient. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Good location for those of us who do NOT want to stay at a casino and easy central location for driving to places in and near Reno.

This motel is the old fashion style, two stories and no elevator. But, it has recently been renovated and is nicely done. The rooms are decorated in modern style with laminate flooring, cool wallpaper, comfy bed (a little on the soft side), a chaise lounge, walk-in shower (at least in the room we had). The room had a small microwave and good sized mini fridge. There was a room safe and TV. The room smelled good. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The BEST part of this motel is hidden in the center of the complex; a beautiful, green space with bean bag toss and elongated fire pit. There are plenty of chairs, tables and cushioned chairs. A wonderful pool that is good size for a motel. There is a wide set of steps going into the water with a good handrail. I think there is a bar that opens onto the courtyard but we never went into that space so t may have been just a snack bar. This center area is very nice and we hadn't taken the time to discover it until the night before we left. The only criticism I have is the lighting in the room; it was dark because the bulbs didn't put out much light. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This motel is VERY CLEAN.. the staff is very good. The pool is great.. Our only issue.. cleaning staff didn't understand English.. as we were trying to find the ice machine.. so no help there.. ice machine was located on the opposite end of motel.. it should be centered and easily accessible .. it not!! Otherwise a great place.

This is a fantastic hotel with lovely staff who do their best to make your stay enjoyable:) The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfy. Great amenities with a pool which is 3m deep!! Check in was painless, even at the last minute. It is in a good location, right next to lots of restaurants and fast food chains, as well as a mall. We loved the vibe and ended up staying an extra night. Would definitely stay again, and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel is super clean, friendly staff, professional and very accommodating. This was my 2nd time here at the hotel and plan on returning in the near future.My husband has a disability and they were wonderful with him and his disability.

We were visiting the area for activities and family visit. The hotel has been completed remodeled and is very attractive. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We had a refrigerator and microwave which came in handy during our visit. We are impressed with the improvements. The location is close to dining and shopping. We'll definitely be staying here again if the occasion arises.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. They changed our room no problem after we didn't bring our dog that we originally booked for. We already told people that it was a great place to stay!

We needed a place to stay during an interstate move. We had noticed Aiden on an earlier trip while getting breakfast at the adjacent (wonderful!) Two Chicks breakfast restaurant. We know that Aiden hotels have a bar, confirmed by booking and other sites, and indeed the hotel's own map showed a bar. After a grueling day we figured whew! The one thing that will help is that we can get a drink and relax when we get there. But there was no bar. "Oh, um, it's behind schedule". Nothing nearby, per the clerk, though we could walk a few blocks (22°). That along with other undesirable features convinced us to "eat" the one-night price and drive on to our next stop, to beg for an early-by-a-day check-in. That went fine. Leaving us with a false-advertising effectively theft of one night payment. I can see that if we prevented them from selling the room to someone else, but the parking lot revealed that there was next to nobody there. This leaves me with a feeling to permanently avoid Aiden, and BW. Any time I ever see BW in a list with prices I will mentally add in the false-advertising one night. Steal from me, I avoid you.

I come to Reno every month, to see family. So trying to save a little money is a good thing without having to sacrificing comfort. This was worth the new search. Staff is friendly & professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable!

This hotel is on a good location, they have food restaurant near and of course a mall. There service was very good very friendly staff and clean rooms. We highly recommend this hotel it is pet friendly.

Stayed at the Aiden when we stayed in Reno to watch a football game at UNR. Not too far from campus and lots of restaurant choices in the area. They have a Two Chicks as connected to the hotel, pretty cool. Restaurant does get busy, so make sure to go early or give yourself enough time to enjoy your breakfast. Only had interaction with the front desk, she was friendly and informative and got us into our room efficiently. The room has hard floors, no dirty rug that stores all the dirt and spilled beverages that make your socks dirty. The room was well appointed with plenty of storage to hold your belongings during your stay. My wife could not stop raving about their hair dryer too, ha ha. Room was clean and had everything we needed, including a fully stocked coffee maker. Would I stay again? Yes, I can recommend the Aiden.

We stayed one night after a week at Lake Tahoe. The front desk was great and didn't mind switching our rooms when we asked due to a large group staying around us and we knew they'd keep us up. The pool area looks great, has a neat green/turf area with corn hole and room for kids to run, probably more for the dogs. The beds were comfortable and rooms large enough. Microwave and fridge was a plus and we had storage for clothes. One thing keeping it from 5 stars is the tile floors. As we got into bed, all of our feet were black from the tile floor. Bring slippers or do what we did and lay towels out throughout the floor after we cleaned our feet. We would stay here again if we came out this way again.

They have no free breakfast, but Rino rarely has it in hotels. The price is reasonable, the hotel is brand new. Location is good for those traveling by car. I would chose the hotel next time if I ever visit the Rino town again

The exterior photos gave me pause but the price was right so we tried it. Couldn't have been happier: very clean, very comfortable, recently remodeled, great pool, on-site restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Centrally located and within walking distance of great restaurants, Whole Foods, Sierra Trading Post and other businesses. Would definitely stay again.

They don't verify email addresses and sends spam to people who never signed up for their mailing list. They will just enter directly enter whatever email address is given to them without sending a verification email to the email address to verify if the real owner of the email signed up for the mailing list.

Hotel was very modern & chic in decor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. I loved the fact that we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room. We enjoyed our stay very much. Can't wait to visit again.

We stayed here during our short visit to Reno. The hotel grounds look modern and updated. Rooms were clean, spacious and up to date. Hotel is conveniently situated near shops and restaurants. We had a small dog with us, so it was great that they were pet friendly, with a small sand patch for dogs. Would recommend staying here.

Super clean and comfortable nights stay. Excellent hotel. The bed was super comfortable. The TV was nice and large. I will definitely return. The location is perfect. There is a restaurant located on sight.

Great for pets, clean rooms, clean property, friendly staff. The rooms are not carpeted, which is a cleaner option than the past only carpet options. The traffic around the area can get pretty busy so plan for this. However, you will be close to the freeways to get you anywhere you need to be.

Overall the location & room were satisfactory. We had a few issues arise during our two night stay. The first night we used the shower & the water wouldn't drain. When we addressed the issue with Hotel staff there we're several red flags: 1) she asked us to provide photo proof & to submit via email. We did so immediately. 2) she advised us that hotel Mgt would reach out to us to provide some kind of compensation . 3) she asked us for our information & our room #. She then advised us that we were mistaken on the room #. We looked at hotel map & confirmed the -# was correct & gave it to her again. She advised us that no one was in that room. I gave her my room card & she still insisted that we weren't in the room # we provided. After several minutes of discussion & telling her that we were right across from the dog run she finally realized that we were providing the correct room number. 4) when checking out we brought it to hotel staff's attention that we still hadn't received an email/text or call from Mgt regarding our concerns. The hotel staff apologized for the inconvenience. However, he didn't offer any compensation or assurance that he would request them to contact us. Although, once again the hotel staff insisted that no one was in the room # I provided them. He also insisted we were in another room on the other side of the hotel. After a lengthy discussion he confirmed that I advised him correctly & they were mistaken. this is concerning due to this occurred two times with two different staff members & it impacts guests security & safety.

This is a great value, with updated/remodeled rooms, and a friendly staff. Everything was clean, and the property was quiet despite being on a busy road with a lot of (helpful) services. We would definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel! I love the simplicity of parking, then walking to your room within a minute, w/o negotiating busy parking lot, elevators, etc. Pride of ownership is evident. Quiet as well! Awesome value, as well!

Room was very nice. Was told Friday I could do 1 pm checkout on Sunday and that it would be noted, but on Sunday when I checked with front desk was told that there was no record and the best they would do was noon. Glad I checked. Also I requested fresh towels and trash emptied daily on the request for services card and received NO service after ther first day. Overall a good stay but disappointed with service, especially they would not honor what I was told about late checkout.

This hotel has recently been restored and they did a beautiful job with it. Everything is clean and modern while still hanging on to that retro style that we love. Service is wonderful! And the property is beautiful - especially the pool. It's a rare bright spot in Reno. If we ever end up there again this is the place! Prices were a little high because of the city hosting a major national tournament. But they still were better than a lot of other places! Regular rates are excellent value.

This place was one of the nicest we have stayed in a long time. The rooms were clean and spacious, extra towels in the room, the pet area was convenient - cleaned every day. The pet area and parking lot were very well lit! Location was excellent. We will stay here again the next time we are in Reno.

It is the world's best hotel for less than $150 per night! Everything inside the room is new! TV, phone, lights, mirror, comfy bed and most of all, PET FRIENDLY and has the fastest hotel wifi in the WORLD. We travel a lot and we normally don'r use the hotel wifi because 99.99% of the time, it is SOOOO SLOOWWWW.

This property is newly renovated with a very hip and cool vibe to it. Rooms are very fresh and new and clean. Great furniture inside with a fridge. We had two minor issues that were taken care of. We would stay here again!

An excellent industrial design hotel with great shops and restaurants within walking distance or make use of the bicycles per the hotel! Great helpful staff. Clean facility and nice pool. Microwavw and frig in room with hairdryer, garment steamer and keurig single cup coffee maker. Will stay again!

I wish I could rate this hotel higher. Great location, good staff, rooms were well designed and roomy. However attention to detail was lacking in our room. Door to bathroom hung crooked and would not shut. Bathroom was small and there is a vent that seems to be connected to the room behind us so we could hear the loud music from that room. Luckily they toned down the volume later in the evening.

Our family trip this summer was full of great experiences thanks to Best Western and Team Hotels. Aiden by BestWestern turned out to be a great one. From feeling welcome to a very beautiful and comfortable room, we had a wonderful time. Reno turned out to be the biggest little vacation we had this year. Thank you for providing that to us Aiden by BestWestern. My kids loved your pool.

We had never stayed at an Aiden before and it is no different than a normal Best Western. This place is still under remodeling, but what is open is wonderful. The breakfast restaurant that is attached makes an awesome meal. It is very filling and you will not be disappointed.

We had our dog with us so appreciated that this hotel allowed dogs. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable! Staff was super friendly and caring. The courtyard with pool, lawn games, and fire pit was really nice! Restaurant onsite was great too! Big portions and delicious breakfast! We would definitely stay here again!

Worth the stay. Stayed for work and was close to everything, restaurants, interstate and shopping. Very relaxing, great open concept, loved to Roman chair, bed was extremely comfy and team members were friendly & helpful.

If you want a smoke free facility outside, the hustle bustle and noise of downtown Reno, look no further than this hotel. Clean, friendly staff, nice coffee in lobby, reasonable rate, and spacious rooms. We had an excellent stay

4 minutes ago on Google I started this review at 5 stars. The renovations are very nice, the rooms are great and you can tell that a lot of work and care was put into remodeling the hotel. But, it soon fell apart. We stayed 5 nights. Throughout our entire stay, despite 2 requests, we did not get room service. Each day we arrived back in our room, the towels were dirty and sheets unchanged and bed unmade. After the 4th day, I dropped a pile of dirty towels and 3 bags of trash on the reception counter. We were apologized to, but, that was it. My dad who wakes up early, sat in the lobby and enjoyed coffee while waiting for me. During that time, he was confronted by the staff and was accused of being homeless, not a guest, and when he explained to her that he was a guest and told her his room number, she called him a liar and threatened to call the police. When she learned of her mistake, she made no attempt to apologize. We were ready to leave the hotel at that moment, but, we only had one more night. Nitpicking, the rooms are too dark. The lighting does not spread. You need to open the window to see, but, doing so exposed you to passers by. There are not enough power options for charging. When will hotels learn that usb chargers are a priority over a phone and alarm clock? The fridge didn't get cold. All of our ice cream melted. On the surface, the place looks great, but, when you dig in. The niceness is only on the surface.

This is like flying economy at first class prices. Our room was clean, but poorly lit. I asked for a reading light so that I could study and write, but there was nothing anyone could help with. The TV wouldn't turn off in the middle of the night and there was only one person on duty who tried to help but couldn't. There is a pool, but no mention of the fact that it was closed. The staff were friendly and clearly wanted to help, but it is up to the management to give them the resources to make it possible. Ultimately, this experience just felt like a money-grab. All show and no concern. Will not be staying at an Aiden Hotel again.
