Best Western Premier Hotel Aristocrate

**Extremely frustrating experience. I specifically called ahead, and they STILL gave me the wrong information.** I needed wired internet to work during my stay. It was advertised online, including on the hotel's own website and Expedia, where I booked. But I didn't even rely on the websites alone. Before booking, I **called the hotel on September 11 specifically to confirm that wired internet was available**. They told me YES. So I booked. I arrived at the hotel and guess what? **There is no wired internet in the rooms at all.** Audrey genuinely tried to help and let me test the connection in a conference room. It didn't work there either. The employee who took over after her was also very helpful, but then he told me something unbelievable: **the hotel USED TO have wired internet in every room, but it was removed during recent renovations.** Seriously? You remove an amenity during renovations, continue advertising that you have it, and then when a customer **specifically calls before booking to confirm that exact amenity**, you STILL tell him that you have it? What exactly was I supposed to do differently as a customer? I checked the website. I checked Expedia. I CALLED THE HOTEL. I specifically asked about wired internet. I was told it was available. Apparently even that wasn't enough to get accurate information. Had they simply told me the truth when I called, **I WOULD HAVE BOOKED ANOTHER HOTEL.** Instead, I arrived and discovered the service I specifically confirmed before paying for my reservation had apparently already been removed. And this wasn't about wanting faster internet to watch Netflix. **I needed the wired connection for work. Because of this, I couldn't perform my scheduled work and lost an entire night's worth of income.** I do want to give credit to Audrey and the employee who followed her. They actually tried to help, and they were far more helpful than the situation they were put in. But as for the hotel itself: **this is completely unacceptable.** If you remove an amenity, UPDATE YOUR LISTINGS. And if a customer goes out of his way to CALL YOU BEFORE BOOKING to confirm whether something is available, at the absolute minimum, give him accurate information. I took every reasonable precaution before booking and still ended up paying the price for the hotel's inaccurate information. **Absolutely infuriating.**

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served very fresh and delicious meals. The room was very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The location was convenient to public transportation. Highly recommend.

We loved the room, the rain shower is our favorite. There's such pressure from the water. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. The people were amazingly helpful. I didn't bring money and I needed some water from the machine and he took it out and charged it to the room The restaurant downstairs. It was our best food of the whole weekend very classy and delicious I like the fact now if you stayed three nights, they give you a bus pass to go into the city. The restaurant also was great for breakfast the only downside was there was music late at night on our second night. Not a big deal, but other than that.It was a perfect stay.I would recommend this hotel to anyone.Especially if you wanted to go like, we did to the waterfalls, because the location in between quebec city and the waterfalls

Nice BW hotel location that happens to be in the middle of crazy construction. Not their fault obviously but it makes accessing it difficult. Room was clean and comfortable, however bathroom is small but manageable. Included breakfast would be appreciated. Staff were very pleasant.

We were there with our sports team in town for a tournament. From the organization of our group reservation (merci Marie-Claude) to the ease of check in, our stay was great. The front desk staff was polite and helpful at all times, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The meeting room was perfect for our team gatherings. We travel a lot during our season, and this hotel in my opinion was one of my favorites for all aspects of.

Very noisy and dusty. Building is cheaply constructed, it's wooden construction without any sound isolation. You'll hear people walking upstairs, people talking adjacent suites, people passing by in hallway. Hotel provides ear plugs in your suite. A cheap way to try to resolve cheap building construction. So dusty that we were coughing and had allergic reaction. I won't stay here again even if I was given free stay for a month.

This is a lovely place about a 15-20 minute ride from Old Quebec and a 15 minute ride to the airport. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is compact but felt open, not cramped, and had an amazing rain shower. The beds had very cozy sheets and comforters and were very comfortable to sleep in. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. It was too cold for an outdoor pool but it looked very clean and well-kept. Very reasonable rate. We would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodations and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Be aware of construction in area. The balconies face the west so it is great to see the late sun.

I stayed at this hotel along a cross Canada road trip. This hotel is phenomenal. Roxane at check in was warm and receptive. She gave me a nice quiet room and definitely made me feel welcome. I'm a diamond select member and I've probably stayed at over 100 Best Westerns. I would rank this hotel number 1. It has everything you could ask for: a friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and a safe and quiet location. This is my favorite hotel in Quebec and one of my absolute favorites in Canada. I would definitely stay here again

Hotel way over priced, restaurant closed, location terrible with construction all around small rooms. Heating and cooling hot and cold. Staff not helpfull. Old hotel renovated poorly

Given the positive reviews of this hotel on this site, I was expecting a lot more from the hotel than what I found. On the positive side, the staff was excellent, and the rainfall shower in the bathroom was amazing. That being said, the room was very small and cramped, as was the bathroom. At my last hotel, both were 50% larger. The desk just barely held my laptop since the TV – instead of being mounted on the wall, as at every other hotel – sat on the work desk and occupied most of its surface. In addition, there were no outlets at the desk and so I couldn't charge my laptop while working on it. The neighborhood had little to offer by the way of food choices. For breakfast in the restaurant, the food was good, but the prices were very high. With tax and tip, I ended up spending $21 for breakfast, and that was for the cheapest option. Some menu items were $27 for breakfast. Unfortunately, there were no nearby restaurants like Tim Hortons to grab a simple breakfast. On another matter, the parking lot was not lit at night, nor was the hotel's sign from the road, making the place difficult to find. As many people have noted, there is a huge construction site right in front of the hotel that makes access to and from the hotel slow and difficult. I realize that construction is completely out of the hands of the hotel, but this is something that a person has to take into consideration when planning vacation travel. I found the constant noise very annoying, and it went well into the evening. If I came back to town, I would stay elsewhere.

My wife and I visit Quebec City from time to time, and over the years, we've stayed in a few different places. That said, Hôtel Aristocrate has become something of a reliable favorite. On this trip (June 22 to 24), it proved once again why it's a spot we like returning to. Comfort and Cleanliness The room was just as we hoped: quiet, clean, and genuinely comfortable. The bed was great, the bathroom spotless, and everything felt well cared for. You get the sense someone actually pays attention to the details here. Construction Around the Hotel The access road and surroundings were undergoing construction (see hotel notes on the web), which didn't exactly add to the ambiance. The reception hall was also being renovated during our stay, so the entrance area felt a bit temporary. But once inside, the noise was minimal and the peace returned. Quebec summers and orange cones seem to go hand in hand. Lobby and Common Areas The hallways have a little less glamour than the rooms. While not run-down, the carpets in the hallways and in front of the elevator could have been cleaner. They won't be featured in an interior design magazine anytime soon. Let's just say they're functional, not fancy. Breakfast at La Fenouillière Breakfast at La Fenouillière is always a highlight. Delicious, beautifully plated, and a great way to start the day. We've sampled regular, cappuccino, latte, even in moments of optimism. Unfortunately, "decent" continues to be out of reach. Fortunately, everything else on the table makes up for it. Location and Parking The hotel is easy to get to and offers free parking, which is a rare treat when visiting Quebec City. It's just outside the busy Old Town, so you get peace and convenience without the tight parking battles. Final Take We continue to recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and reliable service. Yes, there is some construction around the property right now, including in the reception hall, but inside it's still the calm, welcoming place we've come to appreciate. Breakfast is excellent, coffee questionable, and the hallways? Let's call them understated. We'll likely be back next time Quebec calls.

My room was located on the far side of the hotel, away from the highway. I slept with the window slightly open, and not a single sound disturbed me. The pillow and sheets smelled clean — nothing reminiscent of Uncle Jerry. The small carpeted section was odor-free. The room was spacious, and included a practical work desk. To my surprise, the mini-fridge was actually cold. I didn't use it this time, but I checked it for a future stay. Most hotel fridges either don't work at all or sound like a diesel engine. Not this one. I was able to charge my SUV in the back parking lot, thanks to a 110V power outlet available on site. And most of all, I made a tremendous discovery. If you're in the area, just six minutes away is a restaurant called Ostrea. I highly recommend making a reservation — it's a small and cozy place with friendly customers & staff, and the chef-owner Jacques Le Pluart makes the experience truly memorable.

To start Pros; room was very clean , quiet and the bed was comfy. Good nights sleep. Cons: for a Premier the rooms where tiny compared to many BW premier we have stayed in. The whole place, plus surrounding area and the surrounding road ways are all under construction. looks to be about 2 years work. ( a mess ). We also noticed that there was nothing close by to pick up last minute items or by food. We thought we would go for a swim..C pic

A wonderful tourist site. Easy access to Ville de Québec and its many historic and unique attractions. The city is oriented to welcoming tourists and taking care of their needs and interests. Many fine restaurants although some are surprisingly expensive

The staff was excellent Marie & Alex especially.. The room was perfect.. We love this Best Western & we will return next year when we visit with Family. I could have talked to Marie for days she was so nice & Alex was awesome.. They sure made you feel welcome & just a pleasure to be there. The cost was also great & this Hotel deserve a good report. Very disappointed, talked with Alexandre (I think that's his name) when we reserved last January and he strongly recommended we book one of the rooms with a patio so we could easily walk in and out with our dog; so we did as he suggested. When we arrived on March 6th, we were told that these rooms weren't available in winter. To our dislike, we were then given a large room with a small bathroom fit for a camper. Had to take the dog out in the middle of the night on an icy and slippery parking and forgot my key inside. Used my walking cane to keep the hotel door open and woke my wife to get in the room. Very dangerous to walk anywhere outside that hotel, very slippery even for cars and SUV's; in fact very dangerous and could easily fall and break a bone. We always choose a Best Western hotel that allows dogs when we travel and we normally really enjoy our stays, but not this time. Please act accordingly. Thank you.

The service is excellent and location as well, the rooms are comfortable and all the employees very sympathetic. the parking lot is big and always has an spot, the WiFi working very well the signal is powerful. You can go to the restaurant and eat a excellent food and also the hotel give you a bus ticket to travel to Quebec city for free

Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was clean and although hotel location close to highway rooms are very quite. The only negative would be the amount of construction near the hotel at this time. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

This was not our first visit to Quebec City and decided to stay a ways from the city primarily for a little quiet and also free parking. (So dislike having to pay $35-$40 to park a car when spending a bit of $$$ for a hotel stay - ugh!) Our room was outstanding - booked a "Larger King Bedroom" and it was huge with a separate seating area and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. Have never booked a BW Premier Hotel before and will definitely be on the lookout for more as we travel Canada. Hotel front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful with dining recommendations. Book here and make the 20 easy drive into Quebec City for your sightseeing.

Very comfy beds with plenty of pillows. Staff very nice. The room and the bathroom were small. The view was on the parking lot. There was no microwaves oven. No possibility to adjust the temperature in the fridge that was freezing. We had to squeeze ourselves behind the desk that was pretty heavy to move in order to unplug it during the night and re-plug it for the day. There were too few outlets in the room. The location of the hotel is not fantastic, quite far away from downtown and from most of tourist attractions. But the Quebec bridge is nearby as well as large malls.

After a disastrous attempted stay at Le Concorde in Quebec City the previous night, we checked out early and made a late booking for a 1 night stay at the Best Western Premier hotel and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. This hotel stay was a million miles away from our previous night. Free parking to start off then check in with very friendly staff and a lovely, clean, modern room. After a, not pleasant sleep the night before, we had the best nights sleep at this hotel, helped by some of the softest sheets and pillowcases. The bathroom was very small but very clean and modern. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a small bar. We didn't use the restaurant but did have a drink at the bar and had a walk to a restaurant next door. This hotel is approx 20 min drive into Quebec City for those wanting to sightsee.

The room and bathroom was small. The view of the room was not pleasant as it was facing a parking lot in first floor so that the curtains must be closed all the time. To go to the rooms we passed the back door or kitchen of hotel's restaurant which had a bad smell.

Location, location, location. Clearly that is what is keeping this Best Western in business. The proximity to the highway is very helpful. The amenities are satisfactory. Staff were very polite and welcoming. It is NOT what we have expected from Best Western - too expensive, no complimentary breakfast, and no bath tub. Will likely drive a little further in the future.

The hotel itself was fine. The room had both a refrigerator and a microwave. There was an espresso machine, but no instructions on usage. The access road was undergoing construction, so travel in the area was challenging. The best feature was the restaurant, La Fenouilliere, a 5 star French restaurant with white linen tablecloths, impeccable service, and delicious food. Although it was a bit pricey, the food and service were first class. Usually Best Westerns offer free breakfasts, but as this restaurant rented space from the BW, that option was not available. Breakfast was easily $35 Canadian each; dinner $190 for 2 people (choosing least expensive options). Perhaps a hotel closer to the center city area would offer more food options.

The hotel is 25 min to Old City Quebec. Know this. When booking. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a lovely restaurant. There was construction so we moved to the back of the hotel even though the room was smaller without a walk out, it was comfortable and quiet.

tall the amenities were great. The room was excellent, and I had a great meal at the restaurant was excellent. I only stayed for the night but I got an wonderful nights sleep. I would certainly stay there again. Quebec City is such a beautiful place to visit and the accommodation at the best western were also a high point in my travels in northeastern Canada.

Hotel does the maximum to make guests feel welcome. Staff will do whatever they can for guest comforts. They provide such perks as free bus tickets, daily room cleaning, restaurant suggestions, and maps to nearby and more distant attractions. This hotel may not be in Old Quebec, but you will never feel far away.

This is our third stay. Reserved a King-bed room. Very small room. The bed takes most of the space. Second day we were able to upgrade to a suite ($40/night extra). What a difference and worth the cost. Hotel has new policy to only clean/make room after the second night. You can leave the "please make the room" sign but they will only come to make the bed and tidy up towels. No cleaning. Not even taking the trash out! Why? Save money, cut corners? We chose a Premier category hotel because we want to be spoiled and have the room cleaned every day. Otherwise we just go to an AirBnB and have no room cleaning and pay a cleaning fee at the end. Maybe that is where the hotel is going? The outdoor heated pool is nice, but he thermostat was lowered. It was chilly when the wind picked up. This is end of July! Cutting corners? Hotel has dynamic pricing. It costs more on Fridays and Saturdays. Are the extra dollars worth the customer frustration and loyalty. Feels like airline and Uber pricing. The restaurant on he premises is the best ting they got going. Excellent food, service and ambiance. It is a good deal to get the prepaid coupon for a five course meal including a good cocktail for two people. We used it to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The $30 bottle of red (staff's choice) wine is not a good deal. Not worth the price. We couldn't even finish the bottle. Better wines available at SAQ for $20. We will come back. but they better not cut corners.

Great hotel where you can book for 1 night over the weekend. Most of hotels request a minimum of 2 nights. Staff very professional. Bed was incredible. Refurbished rooms & bathrooms. Enough parking space for a fulled booked night. We will definitely come back the next time we visit our family in Québec city.

This is a great place to stay, if you want to visit and to shop in Quebec city, it's all close by. And the food is amazing at the hotel restaurant. We love it, we had a breakfast in the morning. Staffs are amazing. Thanks for this great exprience on last minute booking.

The rooms could use some more soundproofing and more frequent cleaning. Cleaning service was only once a week, however they were more thorough than most other hotels I've stayed at. One of the best hotel gyms that I've ever used. The pool was nice but didn't open until the final week i was there ( was there for 6.5 weeks). Beds were great, but sleep was impacted by the above mentioned soundproofing issues.

This facility is an excellent choice! I usually steer clear of the “Best Western”, but this one is the cream of the crop. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Friendly staff, great beds.

Beginning of our two week vacation to celebrate our tour of Atlantic Canada. This is the hotel we always plan to visit when we head east. This time we stayed two days going and will visit for two days on our way home.

Best Western was great. Pasty, brunch shop and Italian restaurant in walking distance. About 20 mins from Old Town Quebec. There is construction in front of the hotels in the area but wasn't an issue. Traveled with husband, daughter, service dog and puppy. Great area to take walks with the puppy. Stores and restaurants close early on Saturdays evenings. Need to leave a day early had major car issue and need to get home safely.

Stopped here on a drive to the east coast. The hotel is easy access off the main highway. The room was spacious and comfortable. The front desk was very courteous. Easy drive from hotel to the old city area. Breakfast is extra cost - could offer a continental like most in this chain.

We stayed here on a 3 day travel and it was the best hotel stay we've had in a while. The staff was wonderful and the room was very nice. I especially enjoyed the shower, which was the rainfall type of shower head, with a very high ceiling.

I chose this hotel based on the convenient location for my needs and found it to be by far one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff I spoke with were all welcoming & bi-lingual. The room I stayed in was nicely appointed and the Wi-Fi was excellent as was the onsite restaurant. I will definitely stay in the Best Western Premier Hotel Aristocrate in Quebec City again because they offer top quality accommodations at a fair price along with free parking and convenient access to the freeway and Boulevard Champlain. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. My room, in particular, was not only pristine but also incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in the housekeeping was impressive, and it made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel close to highway and bridges. Stayed for three nights to see the city and the German Market. Rooms and spaces were very clean, with a French Restaurant on site. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very quiet despite proximity to highways.

We were 17 families and it was a perfect stay. They gave us a free room to congregate and the staff was super nice, Our tournament was in Beauce and only 30 min away and it was great! Would highly recommend.

The location is good, easy to access. The descriptions of the hotel and rooms did not really match the reality. The hotel is a bit dated. The "balcony" was a dirty, icy, unsafe walkway with no chair or anything. The door was very difficult to open. The front desk staff was not knowledgeable about bus routes .

Despite the name, this was a really affordable choice for the area, at least on the nights I booked it! The room wasn't remarkable but was nice, and the staff was helpful and bilingual (a plus for me with my weak French). It's also in a great location - although it's a few miles from downtown, in the extreme southeast corner of Québec City, it is RIGHT down Boulevard Laurier (a beautiful drive) from both the nearby malls and downtown. My docking a point is for the noise. I had a balcony room, and although the door was fully closed and locked, I guess it didn't quite seal, because quite a lot of sound bled in from outside (and there was more than I thought!). There was also a low rumbling noise in my room the entire time, which I think was either the bathroom fan or something external. They did provide earplugs in the bathroom supplies, which I'd never seen at a hotel before, but I'd still have preferred not to need them. Parking was also a little bit of a problem. It's not clear from the road that the first entrance you come to is not the hotel but the attached restaurant. On one occasion, the front and back parking lots were both completely full (apparently with restaurant-goers), so I had to park in one of the spots in back reserved for buses.

We chose this hotel pretty much because of the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. We stayed 4 nights And it's a good solid choice. PROS: * Clean, nicely furnished * Very attentive and kind staff * Quiet - no problems with noise * Easy to find with GPS * Generous giving extra Nespresso pods for a heavy coffee drinker like me * The restaurant is awesome (but not included) CONS: * Gosh, I love a free breakfast (they have coffee, but the restaurant charges $9-25/each for breakfast). * There's a pool, but no hot tub (that would be lovely after walking all day) * The drive to Old Town - I wish we could walk but that would take hours - but being fair, this was much better priced than the hotels within walking distance to Old Town.

Very expensive. Bathroom was very tiny. Not even enough room to put essentials. NO FREE BREAKFAST like all the other hotels in the area. When I questioned this, I was told they were a PREMIER hotel and that is why I would be charged. I then asked the front desk for some suggestions for dinner. I was promptly told about the food at the other three sister hotels and that if I wanted to go somewhere else, I SHOULD USE MY GPS. Talk about no customer service. I stayed at their sister hotel the night before and not only did I get free breakfast, they had a HUGE binder full of places to eat. Don't plan on returning here next time I'm in the area.

We loved our stay! The room was great, the price was abordable the room was very clean and the bed was sooo confortable! Also, the staff was very nice and kind. We'll come back for sure! Bus station near by so it is easy to go downtown whenever you want.

I would stay here again, was easy to get to and not too far from some of the sightseeing areas in Quebec. Nice hotel. If you need to stay at a hotel while traveling this is not too far from the airport.

Last minute booking after being let down by other accommodation. Very pleasant staff at check in. Room very clean and well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend. Some building work opposite but didn't bother us.

Qw have stayed at the Best Western Aristocrate on numerous trips to Quebec City. The location is perfect as we have family who live just minutes away. Notwithstanding the convenience of the location, we like the hotel and it has become our general choice for visiting the city. We have stayed at many of the top-rated properties in town but quality-price ratio for the Aristocrate is high, making it a favorite hotel.

This hotel is very easy to get to and is close to everything. The front staff are very pleasant and super friendly. Rooms are cozy and clean. The breakfast at the restaurant in the morning is the best in Quebec bar none. I will definitely be back!

Stayed at King-bed junior suite with balcony and whirlpool bathtub. Very comfortable bed bed. Free Nespresso coffee in the room. Coffee at restaurant too weak (not enough coffee grounds mixed with water). AAA-rated 4-diamond restaurant on the premises, worth the ratings. Heated outdoor pool. Too bad it rained mot days during our four day stay.

We are very happy with our stay at this hotel. It is an excellent hotel with affordable prices. The staff cares about their customers. The room was clean, bed confortable and we had a small balcony. I love the shower and they provide excellent services. The restaurant was very good, we had breakfasts and one dinner at the Fenouillere. Excellent services from all staff and sommelier. The food was excellent. We enjoyed our time at this hotel. Although it is a bit far from the Old Quebec, we highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. We felt welcome. We found all the staff very professional and cordial. The room was very clean. Loved the balcony. All the accensories provuded we perfect. The sound barriers between the hallway and suites, so we slept well.

Easy access from Hwy. Quick and efficient friendly check in. Great and specious accessibility room and bathroom Room had a king size bed (comfortable). Nice bathroom with soap/shampoo/lotion. OMG! La Fenouilliere restaurant with 5 choices a la carte breakfast. This nice restaurant is a Gem and is attached to the hotel.

From the very beginning till the end, this experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. The bed and linens provided are of exceptional quality, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The restaurant within the premises offers delectable dishes that tantalize the taste buds. Moreover, the hotel's location is superb, allowing easy access to various attractions and amenities. Every aspect of this establishment is flawlessly managed, making it an epitome of perfection.

The beds are cozy and the room is had all needed. The front desk were very responsive and supporting. The breakfast was well garnished and delicious. I live in Ontario but I was in Québec City for bussines related task. When next I am in town I will definitely choose Best Western. Thank you.

This was an excellent place to perch while exploring Ile d'Orlean & northern & southern banks of the St Lawrence River about our ancestry! The facilities are classy and deserve the name Aristocrate! The staff are gracious and capable!

One of the cleanest hotels I have been to, the room was fresh. I had picked the balcony king bed room, it was very comfortable with a nice table, fridge, coffee maker (Nespresso), wine glasses and safety deposit box. Bathroom was clean, no bad smells at all. Bed was comfortable, AC in room as well. The front desk folks were kind, smiling, and very helpful - always asked how I was doing, and even helped me decide the best places to park in Old Quebec. There is a vending machine upstairs for drinks, which was handy, and a little area behind the front desk downstairs, where there are snacks you can buy if you need a late night snack, there is also coffee/tea, a vending machine and microwave in the same room. The pool is very spacious and clean. Able to order Uber Eats directly to your room if needed. Many parking spots, and a nice restaurant is attached to the hotel, which has many delicacies to choose from. You can get coupons for the restaurant at the front desk. Check in and check out process was smooth and quick. Only thing to keep in mind is that there is some construction going on across the main street, and it can get loud in the morning for rooms facing that area, so may need to use earbuds, which are provided with the room. Special shout-out to Vaughn, front desk employee, very kind and takes his job seriously. Felt very comfortable as a solo traveler, and would highly recommend this hotel to all types of folks.

Very pleased with the cleanliness and appearance of the rooms, lobby, and grounds. Staff was extremely pleasant. Easy access to Auto-route. I would use this location again and highly recommend it. It was good experience during my work trip.

I have stayed there twice now and both times I was not dissatisfied. Beautiful restaurant, pool for summer. Nice comfy beds and the shower works great. I would recommend, not too far from old Quebec. Perfect if you have a car. There is also public transport right outside the hotel that will bring you to place dyouville.

If you want a high quality experience at a hotel, it doesn't get much better than the Best Western. Great space, clean, good shampoo. I enjoyed my stay very much and the staff are super friendly. The restaurant is also first class. I'm coming back for sure.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room (signature) was clean and everything was in working order. My spouse found the pillows particularly comfortable. Room temperature was easy to control. There is no bathtub (room 102). Staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurant is chic, so very nice with great food, but a bit pricey. Lots of restaurants in the area for dinning out. I would stay there again.

We love staying at this hotel - it ticks all of our boxes: It's a lovely hotel, beautifully maintained, super nice clean comfortable rooms within moments of the highway. There are good options for meals that don't involve chain restaurants. We always stay here when passing through Quebec City.

It's great that it's pet-friendly, I can park outside my room, and it's in a quiet area with sidewalks where I can walk my dog. Close enough to the highway to get back on the road for travel, I appreciate the convenience this hotel provides. I also love the bathroom set up; the shower head makes for an awesome shower. One of the beds was lumpy, but I let my dog sleep on that one (heh).

Love this hotel! The only hotel we stay at while we visit Quebec city. Rooms are very clean. Staff is super nice and helpful. Ismael was great at check in and very welcoming. He even made our breakfast reservation for us. Very quiet... Beds are a bit soft to our liking but otherwise amazing place!

The hotel is conveniently located, room rate was a good price. There is an excellent restaurant available. The duvet covered beds were very comfortable. The room was very quiet. We enjoyed a superb meal in their restaurant. All the staff were very friendly.

Rooms were dirty and smelly. Generally unclean. Staff was not helpful. When for a refund as there were multiple issues. Was not given a refund. In fact when I got my invoice, I was upcharged for a room that I didn't stay in. Due to the terrible state of the rooms I had to pay out of pocket to go to another hotel. By the time this was all said and done I ended up missing the event that I was traveling for. Beyond disappointing. If you want a smooth process and clean rooms I don't recommend this hotel

Love the beds, sooo comfortable! Sooo clean also! Ant the staff were so kind. Since l'aristocrate is in Québec city, the songs played in the restaurant should be mostly in french to represent the culture of the area

Hotel was very well maintained. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff at the reception desk was bi-lingual which made it very convenient for our guest who did not speak french. They went out of their way to make us comfortable

Exceeded my expectations. Stayed here on our way to Saint john for a night and was very impressed with this hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff. No negatives at all. I'm not sure how old/new this hotel is but the room was so clean it felt like no one had ever been there before us. Top notch houskeeping staff!

First time staying at a Best Western in a long time. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with no outside noise. I appreciated that there was no bed spread to decorate but only the duvet covered by sheets. Internet was fast and easy to access. The AC/Heating was a little loud at night when it started up, looked like the system was on the older side. The price was not much cheaper than hotels closer to the city, so I think I light breakfast could have been included, especially since there were not breakfast options in walking distance besides their restaurant, as we could see. Overall a pleasant stay and would go to a Best Western again.

What a great night at the BW Artistrocrate! Clean rooms, welcoming and helpful staff, fantastic on-site restaurant (more of a fine dining option than a family or budget-friendly experience.) If you're looking for great service and an enjoyable evening this is the place to stay and eat! The bathroom in our room was small, but they made good use of the space. My husband found the shower tight which would be the only con to our room. All in all, looking forward to returning to this location!

this is a very nice hotel to stay at, the room we stayed in was upgraded & modern, the bed was comfortable, room has all needs including TV & a small fridge, ironing table, the parking was included in our booking. there is a very nice swimming pool in this hotel, we enjoyed so much the swimming pool, the water in this pool was always in a good temperature , there's also a life guard. the staff in this hotel are very friendly, we thank them a lot for the good service.. thanks also for providing the playlist for the songs played in the main lobby..

Convenient for us as close to bridges and autoroutes. Many local restaurants but the hotel resto is very good. No level 2 charging stations for electric car, only some level one and in back of hotel.. Nice outdoor only heated pool also available. Local restaurant , good service and food, available at lower price for hotel guests. Drive to downtown old Quebec about 15-20 min.

The hotel is very nice and staff is helpful and friendly. The outside only pool is very nice and there is a life guard. Even though its on a busy road inside is very quite. There are not many tv channels but we made it work for the 3 days. There is not much around so getting food is difficult if you don't have a car.

My husband and I visited Quebec for the first time Aug. 5th to 9th, 2022. We stayed at the Best Western Aristocrat in Quebec city for the duration of our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were very well kept and our housekeeper did a great job of cleaning our room. We ate at the restaurant adjoining the hotel twice for breakfast. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and prompt, the food was well prepared. They were kind to speakers who were not native french speakers. My husband had an unfortunate food poisoning incident after returning from a restaurant we visited in town, for dinner. He fell very ill and as it was very late in the evening, I wasnt able to leave him. I called the front desk for help and was attended to by Ismael. Ismael went above and beyond to assist us with his care. He quickly brought us extra towels and even found us a lemon to assist with his tea. When I went to thank him personally, he replied with a big smile- that he was only doing his job. I was surprised and touched by his kindness and humility. We would return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and requiring accomodation. The only suggestions we have to offer concerns the rooms- consider extra shelves in the bathrooms for space for toiletries, and a screen door on the sliding door to allow guests to let in fresh air but not insects. Overall, a wonderful stay and experience. Thank you.

The photos are a bit deceiving as I thought this would be more upscale than it was. Still, beds were comfortable and it was relatively quiet. The rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom, no counter space - a really weird set up. Breakfast is not included. Our stay was just ok.

I could not connect Wi-Fi using my iphone. Try many times, I get up. There are previous customers used towel and hair wrap towel in the bathroom hook！ Poor breakfast and tooo many people. The air condition is noise

The room was nicely decorated and clean. Very narrow hallways made one feel as if in Europe. Helpful staff, but they don't know how to tell someone which bus stop to go to for a trip into downtown. The bus pass provided for staying at least two nights was an added benefit.

This hotel was great in terms of it being spotlessly clean, the Keurig in the room was great, bed was super comfortable, A/C worked well (was a bit noisy) and the staff was nice. On our way out of the room though, we noticed that both the smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector had been completely covered with plastic bags of some sort. This is absolutely unacceptable. I am grateful that there were no emergencies over overnight, otherwise I do not know what could have happened. I pointed this out to staff and spoke to management at checkout. Apologies were offered, but no compensation. I am disappointed with Best Western and would recommend that anyone staying check that their alarms are in good working order before they go to bed.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding at the Aquarium. It was in very close proximity of the venue as well as various restaurants and fast food outlets. The room was spacious, well decorated and very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Their restaurant was beautiful and the food was very good. The staff were extremely accommodating as check in was quick and despite getting there a bit early our room was available within 15 min of our arrival. Good value, close to highway and we would stay there again!

This is easily the most beautiful Best Western I have ever stayed at, and I travel a lot. This was vacation with my wife, and it couldn't have been better. Made me look like a hero for finding such a nice place! The attached restaurant is excellent as well, with the same top-notch level of service. I can't say enough positive about this hotel, and will stay here next time without hesitation.

Quebec City was our destination and spent 4 nights at this very clean/comfortable hotel. Check in/out was quick/easy and painless. Comfortable beds/bedding/super clean room, coming back here every evening was totally enjoyable. Very quiet location. It is only about a 15 minute drive to Old Quebec. Every morning we started our day with breakfast at the hotel restaurant/even though breakfast is not included, a coupon is available and the meal is at a discounted price. The hotel location is very easy to come and go to wherever we had planned for the day. One of us is bi-lingual (English/French), the other not. All the staff, including the restaurant were exceptional in making sure we understood all conversations.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at the Quebec Aquarium. Our room was incredibly comfortable and we had plenty of room for the two of us. The shower was especially lovely as it featured a rainforest shower head! Our favourite part of the stay was experiencing the five course meal at the hotel restaurant. Probably one of the best meals we have ever had, and surprisingly affordable! Highly recommend.

We found everything to be almost perfect. We had breakfast at the adjoining restaurant and the service and friendliness was exceptional. Truly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, in fact took the sales flyer with the name of the mattress, that's how good it was.

Great rate with 2 queen beds. Comfortable room even though one side of the bed is kind of narrow. 5 min drive to big mall. 20min drive to old Quebec attractions. For sure will book again. Got good service at the front desk.

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel on a road trip from the East Coast to Toronto. We upgraded our room to have a balcony for $10/night and it was great. Beautiful views of the Quebec and Pierre-Laporte bridges. About a 15 minute drive from the Old Town district but we loved being away from the noise. Very friendly staff who spoke English and French. Overall, exactly what we wanted and needed to recharge before the last leg of our drive home.

Balcony rooms could also be pet friendly if some has hard floors , it would give pet owners the luxury that non pet owners have , also its nice to see a sun set and rise , and be able to sit outside and let the dog get some fresh air !!

The room was not so clean, the coffee machine, fridge and heating were not working well. The staff came to our door asking for us to leave the room when our son cries to not disturb the other rooms. The server at the restaurant made a comment about my husband leaving the table at the end of dinner to leave me with the bill as if he was not trusting me making the payment as a black woman. I often stay in QC city and this was my worst experience so far

I stayed for the weekend with my wife. The size and comfort of the room surpasses our expectations for the price we paid. Beautifully remodeled and decorated. Very classy. The food at the restaurant was amazing!!! Absolutely delicious!!! Again very classy!!!

During the Valentine's day weekend we stayed for 2 nights at the Best Western Aristocrate Hotel in Quebec City. We were so impressed with the high standards and excellent quality. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I ended up buying a pillow like the same brand from the hotel. The staff was super friendly and informative. We will definitely choose this hotel when we travel to Montreal. !It is like a home away from home!

After reading the reviews and the fact this is a BW premier hotel we were disappointed in our accommodations. We booked the king size suite with the murphy bed. The decor and fixtures were dated, worn and dark. The walls were paper thin…you could here Everything from the stairwell, hall and in room washroom. I was expecting something more modern and spotless.

I was here end of February so lots of high snow banks but still ample parking available which is good. Check in was quick and easy the room itself was spacious modern with wood floors which is warm and inviting furniture etc was in good condition which shows that the hotel looks after to make sure every customer experience is good. The bathroom with walk in rain shower was great throughly enjoying I did find for 2 people though with wash bags there's not much space. All in all a great experience would definitely go back.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August, with our 8 and 4 year old. Very happy with the selection of this hotel at this part of the city (vs old Quebec). Great choice for covid times as this is a 2 story building. Our room was on the main floor and we could get in/out through the side door of the building. Every other room has the walk-out option (for pets). We used the pool with the kids which had limited capacity due to covid, and a life guard. This hotel is close to the business/modern area of Quebec city, and around 20 min travel time to old Quebec by car. A couple of minutes away from the aquarium, close to the breathtaking Chutes de la Chaudière, La Bete Steakhouse, and shopping centers.

I chose this hotel to stay during my trip home. I like that it is conveniently close to the highway, and pet friendly. There are patios to make it easy to take your pet out, and I love the bathroom for myself, it's very modern and spacious. I love the large shower head!!

The room is soooo small, you cannot fully open the mini fridge (hit bed). Difficult to navigate your way around the bed: so tight it is ridiculous. Noisy in the morning (you can hear everything that happens in the hallway).

One of the better Best Westerns I've stayed at. From check in to check out the staff was helpful and welcoming. Comfortable room with two queen beds and a okay sized bathroom. Mini fridge and safe in room were nice extras. Only down fall that should be in every hotel/motel room; multi port adapter to connect HDMI/DVI/USB to the TV, it is 2021 after all! Also if you are thinking about Breakfast, buy the $12.95 coupons at check in. Other wise you'll pay WAY to much at the resto!

One of the most beautiful Best Westerns we've ever stayed at. The room was stunning with very modern bathroom and very nice lighting. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English to us which was nice. We only wished we could've stayed longer. Would highly recommend it if you're ever in the area. They have a restaurant that offers breakfast at a reasonable price. We didn't get a chance to eat there at night since it was closed the night we were there. Simply beautiful place!!

We chose this hotel because our flight arrived late at night, and we wanted to be rested before meeting our friends. It was less expensive than most hotels in the area, and close to the airport and major roads. We found the room to be attractive, comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant! Lovely atmosphere, and delicious, authentic French food. Magnifique!

This was a great convenient property ( right off the highway coming into Quebec City, and just off a major street that took us through the entire city to the Old Town portion of Quebec City), extremely easy to check into, lots of free parking, great staff to help.

From the time we arrived the staff were great at understanding my English and broken French. The provided quick check-in service. The room was in excellent shape. We were very pleased with our stay. We ate in the attached restaurant the first night. It was on the expensive side, but well worth the money as the meal was delicious and nicely presented. The wait staff were very friendly. We had breakfast the next morning in the attached restaurant. You get a $3.00 discount off of a large select of breakfast meal options. The breakfast was very good and well presented.

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way through from Nova Scotia. I am a Gold Member of Best Western and this is one of the best. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and totally respectful of the fact that we don't speak French. We had a room with a balcony which was an additional bonus. The room itself was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We stayed on a Monday night and most of the local restaurants were closed on a Monday but the gentleman at the front desk gave us the phone numbers of some takeout places which we took advantage of and the food was delivered right to our room. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time in a few years. All new faces, but the same great customer service we've come to expect from this hotel. One thing that I will mention that really stood out about the staff here was that they weren't rude or judgmental because we don't speak French. We felt relieved to get a warm reception from the staff. One of the girls at the desk even called St. Hubert Rotisserie and placed an order to be delivered to our room. That is A+ service. We went to some other places in Quèbec and got the cold shoulder for not knowing the language. I've been to over 200 Best Westerns between USA and Canada and this one is in the top 5 for sure. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything

This hotel is literally 2 mins from the highway and 60 seconds from the Quebec Aquarium, not to mention minutes away from a good variety of restaurants. There is an in-house restaurant but be prepared for a hefty bill, we opted for more afordable options in the area. The hotel itself is very clean and has a nice heated(85 f during our visit) outdoor pool which we thoroughly enjoyed having to ourselves on Tuesday afternoon. We had to wait about 20 mins to check-in but several people arrived just before us and only one person was at the desk. The rooms are smaller than what I'm used to but are very clean, modern and the beds are very comfortable. A bit on the expensive side but it's to be expected on that side of the river so close to the city.

This is a model hotel in this chain.. The staff were all friendly , professional and helpful. The room (of course since this was during Covid, was immaculate . I saw how thoroughly the rooms were cleaned. The restaurant was perfect. We had breakfast there and a dinner... which was fantastic (of course you pay for that privilege )

The stay was very good, we are quite satisfied! We were very tired on the road traveling from Nova Scotia back home to Montreal, and decided to spend the night at Best Western. It was really good - nice, clean, comfortable. The Internet connection was just excellent. Thank you, Best Western!

The service was great especially for families with young kids - we felt welcome. The restaurant food is great! Only think is we wish the decor to be a little more updated and the pool to open earlier. I would go back there and ask for a room with balcony anytime!

The Lafenouiilère restaurant is top quality and staff are very professional. Rooms are very quiet and well serviced. At registration staff knew exactly what to do and very good service. I would go again at that hotel.

Good value. Nice rooms and very clean. We had some noise because of construction near the hotel. The pool was smaller than it appeared in photos and, due to Covid restrictions, we had to reserve our time slot of 45 minutes. We were allowed to stay longer when there were no other reservations coming, if there was space. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay overall and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is perfect to stay in if you are in Quebec City and you don't want to spend to much money for a night. Everything was super close to the hotel that I can even walk to go to a restaurant, banking and groceries shopping.

For the price and the comfort, i've seen better at a LOT of place near. They didn't even bother to ask us ifwe slep well or not. My wife ad a backpain in the morning after the night in a Prestige King bed with balcon. The balcon if right by the principal entrance and in front of the Road and parking. NO view no tranquility. The door of the rooms are right in front one anotherand not sound proof.

Was going through a break up and a worker was very nice and offered me a flight with her boyfriend. It was amazing because it has always been my dream to experience flying with my control. I loveee this hotel and this is my go to whenever I'm in QC !

I love that this is a pet friendly hotel, and they have successfully allowed me to stay on the bottom floor with my dog so that I can easily get in and out for bathroom breaks with the pup. I love how considerate they are, and it's easy to get back on the highway for travel. Great hotel!

When I left the hotel I was happy with my stay. But today I got a call from the hotel saying that we took one of their pillows and that apparently our small dog went to the bathroom on their floor. I told them that we did not take any pillows and while I apologized about the dog I asked her were he had had an accident. I asked just because before we left we checked the room including under the bed to make sure we had not forgotten something and we did not see any accident. I am waiting to get their response but I am feeling uneasy about all this as I am worried it might be a scam.

The entryway, the staff, and the bathtub in the "Deluxe King Suite" were the nice things. The problem is that this is a 4 star hotel and if I stayed at a 2 or 3 i would not mind these problems. There was hair inside the aforementioned nice bathtub. There was an extra Pillowcase tucked in behind the other pillows. And the breakfast was atrocious, it was a microwave sandwich, and a couple kid snacks, not only was the sandwich disgusting but there wasn't enough food. I have stayed at other hotels (2 & 3 stars) during this difficult time and they have exceeded the quality of the included breakfast of this so called 4 star hotel I don't recommend spending you money here

This Best Western is super-convenient arriving in Quebec City... seconds from the South-shore bridges. Reservation and check-in were flawless, room was pristine, quite, linens and bedding super comfortable. Breakfast was included, simple under the Covid restrictions but fresh and tasty. Overall A+

Very good service, nice meal and breakfast. The decor is perfect. Our only trouble: some plastic and bottles were leaves in the room. Probably a little mistake from staff. Error is human. After we went to strom spa from the special of the hotel and it was the best spa i went. Fast service, clean and very beautiful decor with perfect vew on fleuve st laurent

We came from Montreal for a weekend mini vacation with our young kids to this lovely hotel, that my husband usually frequented for business travel and we were very happy to discover it under a new view. We were well prepared given the pandemic and were happy to see the care staff took to ensure guests felt safe and well taken care of. We had a great room on the second floor with a king bed and plenty of space for the kids to move around; even had a balcony. We enjoyed the pool, and given current circumstances with time slot reservations and limited number of guests at a time, it was very pleasant. We also enjoyed our breakfast one morning with excellent service and very tasty dishes. The kids meal is actually one of the best we've seen. It has free parking (and an agreement with a hotel across the street for electric car charging), very well situated near the Aquarium (which we loved) and a great pizza restaurant (La Piazetta) which we took to go and enjoyed at a nearby playground one evening. Overall great stay!

The hotel is very clean, beds are good and the room was lovely/decent size. We came on a Girl Scout trip and traveling with teen girls is never easy. That said, the hotel is about 20 minutes outside the city which was good for us to explore the area. I didn't realize when I booked there was no free breakfast or indoor pool. Both would have been helpful on this trip. The hotel was very busy our first night and there was no availability at the restaurant here. We came back after our second day out and our rooms weren't cleaned. The staff member apologized saying they were short staffed. Big disappointment.

Stayed here in February 2019 and found the Hotel to be very clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the fact that you can open the patio doors and let fresh air into the room. The staff was very helpful. Great little bar on the main floor, too!

We stayed here for two nights over the Christmas break. The customer service was excellent, they provided us with all information, the room was very clean and quiet. We had to pay for the breakfast, but it was worth it. I would stay here again.

This is an excellent place to stay if your are on your way to another location, heading east. The hotel itself looked lovely for the Christmas holiday, the staff were very friendly and the room, especially the bed was very good for the price you pay. Restaurant located in the complex, a bonus if you don't want to walk out after a tiring day driving. Would recommend it too, if visiting Quebec city itself, as then, went leaving, you are close to all the major highways leaving out. Soundproofing a bit poor only complaint.

(Military) I loved the look of the hotel, the comfort and cleanliness of the room and the food offered at there restaurant. It is also in a really practical area, close to everything you could need. (shopping malls, pubs, hospital, grocery...) I often have to book last minute and the front counter staff have always been helpful and welcoming. They are now my number 1 choice everytime I need a place to stay and relax when I get the chance to visit my love ones.

I had the best sleep ever, bed is so comfy, sheets are soft, pillows are amazing, the area was quiet...no party around despite Christmas time. I highly recommend this top rated hotel if you want peace.

The hotel is located in a very centric area, you can easily get here. The room was very comfy and super clean and with everything you need. I want to make special mention of the valet guys, they are super nice and helpful and they suggested a tour for the city in Spanish which was just great. We'd definitely go back to this hotel anytime

We stayed at this hotel as it's on the outskirts, and most of our plans were for the area of Quebec City. this hotel was right off the highway that gave us easy access to all areas for our travels. The room was beautiful and clean. We wish they had an indoor, but otherwise it was perfect for a family travelling.

We had a great stay with BWP. The room was terrific, comfy beds with little extras that were very nice. Hotel staff was great also. We went to the front desk to exchange regular coffee for decaf, the front desk was out but they said they would bring some extra to the room shortly. And yes they did. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Hotel offers good location, excellent comfortable accommodations. Dining room is a bit expensive for ordinary dining but does offer excellent high end meals. Room was well appointed. Bathroom was a bit small. I would have liked a wond in shower to better control of water. Rainhead shower only limits options of use.

We stayed in this hotel for one night as our place in the same city did not have power. We had a very good sleep. However, the heater in the room was not working so we woke up to a cold room. The bathroom was also small with very limited space on the vanity. There was no tub, just a shower, with a permanent partial separation. This meant the shower was always partially open to the room and thus not enclosed or as warm as we prefer. No free breakfast as in many Best Westerns.

Easy access, very clean room, comfortable bed, and a great deluge shower made our stay here a good as we hoped it would be.. Easy access to old Quebec city straight down about 7 kms. Lots of shopping near by. Good exercise room.

Overall experience was excellent. Beautifully decorated room, easy check in/out, comfortable beds and pillows, clean room. Location convenient just off the highway. Good value. I don't usually give top marks, but in this case it was warranted.

I lost an eye glass nose pad on-board the Norwegian Gem on Friday morning. When I got to the Best Western Premier Aristocrat Hotel for our three day stay, I asked a front desk associate for some tape to put on the pad holder. The associate told her supervisor Linda of my plight and Linda got on her computer and found an optitian nearby, called them, told them of my need and they said come on over. Linda took my glasses to the optitian and within an hour came back with two new nose pads on my glasses. Who does that these days? Linda was remarkable, and her associates were very helpful and empathetic. I highly recommend this hotel and staff, if you want a remarkable visit. And the room was quite nice as well with a great bed and the very best sheets.

Took a taxi from the airport. Arrived about 9:30 p.m. Very friendly front desk. I had a problem with the credit card and had to call the company. They waited patiently for the resolution then charged my card. She upgraded me to a bigger room. It was very nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I couldn't get the A/C to work. She came down and tried to no avail. She apologized and called someone at 10:30 at night and they came down and flipped the circuit breaker on so everything worked! They told me about the shuttle to Old Town the next morning and I signed up. I had breakfast at their restaurant. Very good service and food. They stored my luggage. The shuttle driver was knowledgeable about the area and pointed things out as we drove along. I took a taxi back to the hotel. Had a wonderful lunch of leek soup, very tender and tasty roast beef on a bed of barley with vegetables done just right, bread, and dessert. Excellent food and service. They called a taxi for me and he was there in 5 minutes and took me to the cruise ship terminal. Would definately recommend this place.

After a long day of traveling and sightseeing we arrived at our booked room. Training Front desk clerk had questions and the trainer didn't even look or acknowledge us. Tried to give us rooms we didn't request and not happy when I said not acceptable. Rooms small and dark.

When it comes to customer satisfaction, the hotel's record speaks for itself. Impressive. Their ongoing effort and commitment are what made the hotel what it is today and the consistency of their remarkable customer service is what keeps people like us coming back. There is nothing like a cheerful voice at the other end of the line and a welcoming smile when you arrive at the hotel. Over the years, the property has been completely renovated and well maintained, but some things could be freshened up, the decor in the rooms in particular. But then, the bizarre paintings have always looked a bit strange to us. The average-sized rooms are comfortable and have all the amenities required for a pleasant stay, including a small fridge, free Wi-Fi and a work desk. Parking is abundant and free of charge. While on the expensive side, the lovely restaurant, La Fenouillière, is among the more notable ones in Quebec City, but discount vouchers for hotel guests are available at the front desk. We like the proximity to the many shopping areas on Laurier Boulevard, the easy access to bridges and highways, and the scenic drive along the St. Lawrence River to Old Quebec. To sum it up; it is good value.

We were on a road trip. We booked all the hotels in advance except Montréal and Quebec City because we didn't know the traffic and stops and where we might be end at the day. We were ahead of schedule and reached Quebec City before dark. In a hurry, we found this place on Internet but didn't book it. It is a an amazing low price. We went to the front desk, not only they matched the Internet cheaper price, they gave us an upgrade. The hotel is very modern, comfortable, and clean. We had a very good rest. It is 10-minutes drive to old town. Parking is free. They have shuttles to take you to and back from Quebec old town. Also, they recommended a parking garage in old town since we preferred to drive ourselves. The front desk is very helpful with our questions. They also connect with a very nice restaurant. Both the food and service are excellent. We had dinner and breakfast there. Some reviews say price is high but we feel it is fair compared to the restaurant provide. Highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

We found the Best Western Premier Aristocrat an excellent place to stay. My French is very limited after years of no use and all front desk persons spoke English very well and without being condescending. The rates are very reasonable. The room and workout room were very good. There is no free breakfast but they do offer discounted breakfast to guest. Other breakfast spots are located close by. I will definitely stay again when in the area!

We spent two nights here. Our room was very comfortable located on the ground floor close to the reception desk, parking, and the attached restaurant. The bathroom was a bit small but had a shower head as big as a dinner plate! The foldable glass shower enclosure only covered a bit more than half the tub, so we always had to sop up the overflow from that massive showerhead! The staff was totally delightful, always patient with our paltry French attempts. My husband constantly tried to learn something new in French and then would try it out on the reception desk staff. They were always kind enough to smile and congratulate him on his newest achievements. We appreciated the guest discounts to the marvelous attached restaurant. A bus left twice each morning to drop tourists desirous of seeing the old city. Then there were two pick up times as well. It was a little confusing down in the old city, but we made it safely back! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location right off the highway and can get you anywhere quickly. Even using back roads can get you to Quebec quickly. Love that it's free parking. Doesn't offer free breakfast but there's restaurant on premises. Bathroom could use more shelves for shampoo/conditioner (not just soap). We loved the shower head! Bathroom could use more hooks for hanging wet towels though. Quiet - we faced the apartments in back of hotel. Friendly staff. Hot water dispenser in lobby could use some cleaning as hot water tasted like leftover coffee.

The staff was very helpful and friendly! We enjoyed our 1 night stay in Quebec City. Our room was homey and comfortable. The bathroom was nice with a great shower. Loved the makeup mirror, lights above the bed, balcony and mini frig.

When in Quebec, I always stay at Best Western Premier Hotel Aristocrate ..The Room are very nice are the restaurant very good. The Staff is Bilingual. Only suggest when going into Old Quebec ...stay away from Rush hours ..Or that 10 min trip becomes a hour

Good hotel and appreciated the shuttle bus to the Citadel area & to the Conference center. Would stay at the same BW again. Close to the city & banks. And to Conference center.. and a short walk in old city to the Chateau Frontenac area.

Not recommended, bedding was very bad, there was no duvet cover, instead they provided two bedsheets with the duvet in between, these obviously separate through the night and you are left with the duvet, which is not changed between guest being up around your face.. yuck. Also reported a blocked drain to the front desk which did not get cleared, had to report it again on checkout so hopefully prevent the next guest having the same annoying issue.

I reserved through a North American Best Western agent based out of the USA on the phone to ensure ALL information accurate. Was guaranteed airport shuttle to hotel. I Booked 2 adults with 2 queen beds. When I pre checked in while traveling I learned they did not provide airport shuttle. When we arrived I was informed that only one adult with one queen bed was reserved. To make up for the errors we were upgraded to a room with one king bed. There weren't any two queens until the next day. The bed and bedding very comfortable and clean. The room had lots of space. Very limited channels but we weren't in the room much. Some times the towels looked dirty but I'm assuming they were stained! The fan to the bathroom didn't work so it remained steamy after a shower. We told them but they didn't do anything. The shower door style was half sized and the rubber along the glass was worn resulting in a fair bit of water ending up on the floor. We enjoyed the free shuttle to Old Québec City. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel while in Quebec City. We found the staff very friendly and the room bright and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast. Internet was fast and reliable. The hotel provided a shuttle to town and back.

We stayed 3 nights on our visit to the Quebec City area. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and beds are comfortable. The location was close to many sights around the city. We did not use the restaurant as it was expensive but there are many nearby areas to eat. Easy access to highways a plus. Recommend this hotel

The rooms are very nice. Well appointed with refrigerator and safe...even wine glasses. Bathrooms are somewhat small. Service is excellent. The location is okay but the shuttle into town was very crowded. The on-site restaurant is expensive.

Not far from Old Quebec. The hotel offers free shuttles into the old city. Three in the morning going out and two in the afternoon coming back (3:30 & 6:00pm). Drops off by the Chateau Frontenac. It's very convenient and worth taking. The rooms at the hotel are clean and very nice linens. Decor very nice. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Great Service in the restaurant and front desk. I would stay here again. Nice outdoor pool and patio area.

shuttle a plus, parking a breeze. staff wonderful, rooms clean and modern, breakfast at hotel pricey but tasty, wait staff in the am all sweet and welcoming, night staff, well... need to be reintroduced to hospitality, party of 6 had to leave after waiting for 14 minutes after declining alcohol, horrible waiter, tall mature white headed man with glasses could not have been more obvious with his behavior after our declining wine or a cocktail, clearly a booze pusher, if he has to wait on you and your not drinking you may as well leave, being a world traveler I must admit he maybe one of the nastiest I have met in 35 years of travel, tried to give the benefit of the doubt, personal problems, death in the family etc. however he should suck it up and put on a happy face, necessary when working with the public

The location is very quiet. The staff is very friendly. Everything is fine but the room space is kind of small for a 3-people family. The breakfast is excellent with more food choices than others. The schedule of shuttle to the old city seems not very flexible and had better to get your own ways.

No complaints. Clean and comfortable. Loved the shower. Bed was ok, cozy at least. Very clean. I would stay here again, although we found it a bit pricey considering we paid less for more at the hotel we stayed at the night before.

Came from Toronto on a business trip so during the drive m assistant book the hotel online through Trivago.. when she booked it online we were given a price of $448 taxes included but when I got my statement I was charged 548. then the room wasn't clean both garbage were full of stuff and the dust was just ridicules then my assisted spoke to the cleaning supervisor and told her about all this so we figured it would be done but were we ever wrong.so I have to admit it was very bad experience and never agin will stay at that location.

It was wonderful to be in close proximity to a number of activities and tours. The shuttle from the hotel to Old Quebec City was great! The shower was super and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely look at staying here again.

We stayed 3 nights here and had no issues. We do not speak French and the staff where quick to answer all our inquiries in English. Very clean hotel and close to a lot of amenities you can walk to or only have a short drive.

Stayed for 5 nights in the large suite (224) and were very impressed with everything about it. Loads of room, superior quality and spotlessly clean. Staff were always helpful and very friendly. Pool was great in the hot weather after a long day sight seeing.

Hotel was great, highly recommend this location. Definitely need a car to get around. Service was very good, room was great, ice machine not working on my floor, had to go up one level. All in all very satisfied with the experience.

I have stayed in 3-star hotels in the past that are way better than this "fool-star" hotel. The hotel management should do a better job to really make this a real "four-star" rating. This is not a 4 star hotel as it is..

Stayed here in late July and were very happy that we booked this hotel. The room was newly renovated and beautifully done! Luxury vinyl plank flooring, gone were any smelly worn stained carpets. The Bathroom is one I'd like to have replicated in my home. Beds very comfortable. The minute we walked into our room there was none of that old musty been here 100 years smell. Fresh & Clean, what a relief. We stayed on first floor in wing near restaurant. Out room window cranked open which I loved. During day we could get fresh air and close up by night. The staff (thank you Samuel) is very nice and greets you with a smile. Helpful with sightseeing plans and navigating to get in town. They are also bilingual so helped with our english efforts at speaking french. It was a 15 minute drive into Quebec City. If you take the Blvd Champlain it runs along the St Lawrence river and is a beautiful drive. It will bring you to the "lower town" historic part of QC. If you continue on the blvd there will be open area parking. IF you really want ease of access to QC then I'd book a room in "upper town" Quebec City. I'd like to add I found QC not to be best choice if disabled, have mobility issues, or unable to walk a lot. the city is on a steep hill and everywhere you wander will be walking at a strenuous incline. The exception is if you stay at the Chateau Frontenac there is a boardwalk directly outside its front entrance. Its a long boardwalk with beautiful views of St. Lawrence river and beyond to stroll leisurely. Ideal if you have any limitations mentioned prior. The Blvd Champlain is level and also provides wonderful walking and biking for everyone. Also suggest taking the double decker bus tours for their Red Loop tour. You can hop on/off to view the city and minimize the walking (hiking). QC is a clean and beautiful city to visit. We found the comparisons to that of being in Europe to be accurate.

This hotel looks new -- It's nicely decorated and is very clean and very comfortable. We especially loved the bed and pillows. The pool is very clean, private and has nice tables and lounge chairs around it...a nice place to relax and swim. If you have a car, take a drive down the Boulevard Champlain to old Quebec City. If you don't have a car, take the hotel shuttle. We would stay here again.

We only ended up staying here because our choices were limited due to lack of vacancies. With that said, we were pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate to come back. The Hotel is close to the highways and easy to get to. Won't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are nice, cozy & clean. We had a room with a balcony, the view isn't amazing, but you do get to see a little of the nearby bridges and a lot of green. With good weather, you can enjoy a coffee and/or book and relax before you start your tour filled day. There are free shuttles to the Old City, but they are set schedules and take you in the morning and bring you back in the evening, so plan accordingly. There's also free parking on premises. There is only one elevator by the front desk, so if you got a room on the second floor and you need it, make sure you unload there first and then you can use the stairs closer to the rooms and your car to have a shorter walk. It's only one floor up at most either way, so not a big deal. There is a small pool which serves its purpose as a small gym with cardio machines and dumbbells that make it better than average. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is not included but you will get a small discount for staying at the hotel and the food was much better than expected. We had the Omelette and the crepes, which we shared and it made for a perfectly tasting and filling breakfast. Well done Best Western Premier, I will try not underestimate you in the future.

We stayed here from 7/27 thru 8/1. The room (240) was clean, and the front desk staff helpful. The bath has a small lavatory sink, a dual flush toilet, and a large shower with a rain shower head, and a new style "shield" shower door. The only drawback was the step to get to the balcony. It has to be approx. 18-20" off the floor. not too good for someone with back issues, and 69 yrs, old. Overall we enjoyed our stay, except for the restaurant staff, which seemed uninviting to dine there. Great restaurant a little walk down the street ( Le Manoir). It is located on St. Louis Blvd, which will take you directly into old Quebec..

We thoroughly enjoyed our over night stay at this location. The service at the reception, room ammenities and fabulous culinary experience were a complete joy! The restaurant team took care of all my food allergies and ensured our experience was one to remember!

Comfortable bed and modern shower. We like sitting on the balcony in the evening and the pool area was pleasant. The free shuttle into the city was good but it only ran during the day time. Last shuttle back was Before dinner time. However we drove in the evening ang got convenient parking for $15. The restaurant at the hotel was very good for dinner on the first night- salmon carpaccio was delicious.

Great hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, and friendly bilingual staff. My only complaint is the breakfast is not free and the online restaurant is very expensive despite the coupons from the hotel. The good part is that there are a lot of good restaurants nearby that are less expensive. Hotel offers shuttle service into the old city. Located in a nearby to access area outside the city. Make sure you update GPS before going to Quebec as they have a lot of construction going on.

We chose the Aristorcrate because we didn't want to stay in the centre of Quebec during a festival. We were not disappointed. Our room was well appointed and quiet (at the back of the hotel), with a very comfortable bed. The hotel offered a complementary shuttle bus into the city centre which meant that we didn't have the hassle of trying to park on a busy Saturday, the staff were all very helpful. The biggest bonus for us was the amazing restaurant that was on site. We'd had a long drive to get to the hotel on the Friday so didn't want to go any further for dinner, it was so good that we booked a table for our second night as soon as we had finished! The staff were all very courteous and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble, but the real star was the food itself - it was superb and different. Equally good were the breakfasts - although it did seem slightly odd having everything brought to you on one plate! All in all a very good experience of a Best Western Premier hotel

The restaurant was fantastic and we were almost too full for breakfast. The hotel is about 15 mins to the old town and there is a free bus which the hotel provides. The breakfast you had to pay even through booking via the app which usually gives a free breakfast.

We stayed here last night. Our room was very well appointed and the bed was comfortable. This is one of the nicest Best Westerns we have stayed at. Very welcoming staff at the front desk. The location is convienent to the freeways and is only a 20 minute drive along the river to historic Quebec City. The hotel offers a free shuttle in the morning and afternoon if you prefer not to drive. Free parking is provided on site but breakfast is not included. There is however an adjoining restaurant that provided us with a nice breakfast. We would stay here again if we are back in the area.

Comfortable stay, great front desk staff, will help you with any recommendations or places to see in Old Quebec. The only thing i wish is that they offer later pick up times from Old Quebec for their shuttle service so that you can enjoy the evening there. The last pick up is at 6pm.

This is a very good standard hotel. Nothing fancy, just good quiet rooms with comfortable beds, modern décor, fast and free WiFi, pleasant, courteous and bilingual staff who are willing to be of assistance and lots of parking. It is close to the Pierre Laporte bridge so is easily accessible from the south side of the river (Highway 20). It is also close to the Laurier Mall, several restaurants and a grocery store. A free shuttle is provided into and out of the Old City of Quebec so you can leave your car at the hotel. There is a very small store (really just a small room) on site with some snacks available. The hotel restaurant is quite good and serves all meals. A small pool is available. Good economical place to stay while visiting Quebec City.

The hotel is not bad, but it's a 3-star hotel. For what we paid for it, and based on the reviews, we were expecting more...kinda overpriced. I think it's a common thing with hotels around Quebec City.

Great Hotel...about 30 minutes outside of Old Quebec City. Rooms are super comfortable. Beds/pillows fluffy and an ahhh when you fall into. Bathrooms have rain showers which are awesome. Roon comes with safe, digital clocke. Coffee maker. Refrigerator for personal use, ice bucket, wine glasses, coffee cups, plastic cups for by the pool, desk extra chair..hotel pictures are accurate for look of room. Lovely restaurant on premises for breakfast, lunch & dinner...the hotel offers discounts to use and very reasonable rates for breakfast coffee, bagel, fruit for $7 Cdn, coffee is great. Also offers full breakfast Eggs Benedict for $17Cdn. Renting a car might be preferable but hop on, hop off bus offers 2 free morning buses into town (Old Quebec City) around 8a, 9:30am and 2 return buses at 2, 3:30pm. Can be slow going and tough to catch ride back we had to wait 45 min..for bus to arrive. A Taxi is $25 Cdn 1 way mid day, maybe different in evening. Uber was $39-50cdn...due to Music Festival and they were charging high rates. So bus is a great deal. Hotel has wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a nice medium size pool we enjoyed as we had 3 days of sun. Highly recommend it.

This hotel is about 7.5 kms from old Quebec. They offer free shuttle to old Quebec in the morning and pick up back to hotel in the evening. Room was clean, nice job by house keeping. There are a lot of good places to eat around this hotel and many more in 4 Kms range. I recommend this hotel.

We spent 4 nights in QUEBEC CITY and this hotel was one of the nicest Best Western we've stayed at. The rooms were modern and SUPER CLEAN. The out door pool was a plus in 30 degree temperatures!! They offer FREE shuttle to and from down town, which only takes about 15 min each way. Across from the hotel is a AMAZING restaurant called LE MANOIR. They have GREAT food and reasonable prices!! Last but not least..... the STAFF at this hotel were by far friendly, helpful and professional!! We will definitely stay there again!!

My wife and I have stayed here 6 times and this hotel gets better every time. All of the staff members are friendly and helpful. We get excellent service every time we stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is immaculate. We've even had staff members order food for us in French since we don't know the language. That is super service. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Really nice hotel. My first visit was a challenge because I was put off by the dated surroundings and the fact that it seemed the hotel was in the middle of no where. However the hotel was clean, well organised and close to Old Quebec City. On my second visit they were under going renovations and all the while staff was very organized, polite, helpful, accommodating and rooms clean. If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, convenience to local sites, I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent value and extremely helpful staff at the Best Western Aristocrate in Quebec. The friendliness and local knowledge of the front desk staff, particularly Gabrielle, added immensely to our enjoyment of all Quebec had to offer.

Stopped in Quebec for a few days on my way out east! What a beautiful city. Check in was seamless, rooms are small, but comfortable beds!!! Felt like sleeping on a cloud. Front desk staff helped us with directions for old city Quebec with the added bonus of the best places to park. Without the downtown prices! There is a restaurant on site, great breakfast with a discount for hotel guests. Dinners are pricy so we decided not to do the dinners. Not much to do on site, there is an aquarium near by great for entertainment for the whole family. This was a great stop on my way out to Eastern Canada.

My wife and I went to Quebec City for the weekend to visit friends and wanted to have a night alone so we decided to get a Hotel near by and being a Best Western member we chose the Aristocrate. The location was convenient, the staff greeted us in both French and English and the room was very nice and clean. Also found the hotel to be very recent and very well decorated. The only minus was that breakfast was not included. This being said I would definitely recommend!

We stayed at this hotel as we were doing tourist things mostly outside of Quebec City and wanted to save a bit of money. Our room was very comfy and extremely clean. We were close to the major highways and the staff were extremely pleasant. We would stay here again!

We love the hotel's proximity to the highway but it's still easy to get downtown. The hotel is very well maintained and super clean. The rooms are lovely, the beds are very comfortable and the price is reasonable. There are several non-fast food dinner options within walking distance which are greatly appreciated.

I absolutely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Quebec City. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally courteous and professional. It's an easy drive from the hotel to the parking garage right outside of the old part of the city. If you want to stay in for the evening, the restaurant in the hotel is exceptionally good. In fact, it was the best restaurant that we ate at during our 6 days in Quebec. It's on the pricey side, but we got a discount as hotel guests for both dinner and breakfast. Our last day in Quebec happened to be during a major snowstorm. We enjoyed hunkering down in the hotel because it's comfortable, clean and quiet. When we are lucky enough to return to Quebec City, we will most definitely stay at the Best Western Premier Hotel l'Aristocrate.

We only spent one night in this hotel. At the time the pool was not open which was a little disappointing. The hotel is perfectly situated close to the highway for easy in and out of the city. if you're just travelling on to the eastern provinces and looking for a place to stop. Additionally they run a shuttle service to the old town which is fantastic. If you happen to have to drive down it's actually pretty easy. Rooms are clean staff are very friendly and helpful

Very nicely renovated rooms with all modern equipment and amenities. Perfect place to stay with easy access to highway and main roads to take you to downtown Quebec city in short time. Staff was bilingual and very helpful and very pleasant.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and reasonable. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Location was a bit far from the city so we used taxis. Let the guests know about buses or use Uber it is cheaper.

I would agree in general the other comments by reviewers about the hotel room and atmosphere and would stay here again if in the area. I will add comments about my experience with getting to and back from old city and Montmorency falls and how this hotel is suitable for travellers. Caveat: I have a car or you plan to rent a car. There is a bus #25 that will bring you to the city and back, I think it is CAD3.50 per person. Finding this hotel is easy from the bridge on 73 once we crossed St Lawrence river from the south. Parking is ample both in the front and back. It appears safe to park in the back as there are residential apartments just across the street. This hotel is located in a mostly residential area with a strip mall that has a supermarket about 15 minutes walk away and several notable restaurants in the vicinity, though you might be hard press to find a cafe. The gym, though small, is well equipped and would appeal to most. Driving to old Quebec city was easy and roads were not traffic clogged. A longer scenic route along the river on 136 is recommended. Laurier Quebec where Allo Mon Coco Centre Laurier is highly recommended for breakfast is also a short and easy drive even in not so great weather. You can google covered parking in old Quebec city separately. Maximum all day parking is CAD18 there. The per night price is reasonable and gives me time flexibility without having to worry about parking fees and driving to other parts of the area.

We had a breakfast there. The food was tasty. Presentation of the food is well done. Stuff is nice. Pleasant atmosphere. Recommend that place for: business, friends and family and etc. Would love to come back again.

Had a great night stay at this hotel very nice menu as well , rooms were very clean. The hotel is right off the hightway and very easy to find. The staff was ready for us nod the room was ready at 1 pm when we arrived.

I have stayed here a few times and the quality of the stay is always excellent Staff are very friendly and efficient The rooms are very clean and modernly decorated. The washrooms have a flair about them I would give it a five except for the TV station selection which is limited especially for the sports stations. Now this does not just apply to this hotel but all the Best Westerns I have stayed in.

The hotel is beautiful. Everything is very clean and tidy. Our room was comfortable and very quite so we got what we needed, A Good Night Sleep. Everyone we have met were pleasant especially Sammuel. Check in and checkout was quick and professional.

. . . yet so very close to everything; the entrance to the scenic Champlain Boulevard and Old Quebec, the bridges, the aquarium, great neighborhood restaurants, the highways to the airport and ski hills, and last but not least, an extensive shopping area just a few minutes away on Laurier Boulevard, for the rainy days. While the hotel has been beautifully renovated a few years ago, it is their dedicated and engaging personnel that are at the roots of the fine reputation they have built for themselves over the years. We always feel welcome. The smiles are ever present. The pleasant rooms are medium sized with comfortable bedding, spotlessly clean, walk-in showers, all the necessary conveniences and free wi-fi, with an exercise room and out-door swimming pool right off the lobby, and plenty of free parking space. The elegant restaurant tends toward haut de gamme, but serves reasonably priced breakfasts in a laid-back atmosphere. Every aspect of this hotel was exceptional. The front desk staff were very helpful and were extremely efficient when checking in and checking out as well as when they responded to our request to move to a new room as our room was not equipped with a bath tub. This property will be our first choice with any future trip to the area.

We enjoyed this hotel as it was nicely located, it was clean, and the staff was fine. We arrived late and did not spend time or money at the restaurant. It is interesting however that in general the more expensive Best Western properties do not provide a continental breakfast... So I guess that the "more you pay the less you get," saying still holds true... However the parking was still free. Also the wifi in our room was terrible, kept dropping every 10 minutes or so.

We have stayed here and found it to be a good place in the past. They have newly renovated rooms but they have problems with the low flush toilets. My wife also likes a shower wand and not a rain shower head, hard to keep her hair out of it. No counter space for toiletries is also a problem. A group of very loud men down the hall gave us a poor night as well. Won't stay here again although the location right off the bridge in St .Foy is good. The restaurant is also very good.

We checked in quickly and easily. The front desk staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Bed was very comfortable and the location of the hotel made it easy to travel into the city as well as the surrounding area. Breakfast was good and we had dinner there one night which was our favorite meal of the trip! The room had some issues though- as soon as you open the door, there is the closet and microwave cabinet which makes the doorway crowded. But the biggest knock of the room is that the walls are paper thin. We could hear the people in adjoining rooms and hallways walking & speaking, even in normal volumes. Worst of all was the man next door who snored so badly, it was like he was in our room at times. My rating would be closer to a four- four and a half if not for the lack of sound proofing. If you go, bring ear plugs.

This Best Western is located in the outskirts of Quebec City and close to the highway that gets you to both the Quebec Bridge and the Pierre LaPorte Bridge which gives access to Highway 20 on the south shore. The hotel has lots of parking. The rooms are well appointed however the bathroom was a bit small with limited counter space. The shower was a walk-in shower. The room was quiet (nice quiet AC), the mattress comfortable, the WiFi very fast and the room was nicely decorated. The staff is friendly, helpful and bilingual. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to downtown Quebec which is wonderful as parking in the old town is difficult. Restaurants are nearby as well as a small grocery store down the street. The Laurier Mall is about a 10 minute walk. An excellent choice for a hotel while in Quebec City.

My wife and I stayed there from 15-19 Sept. 2018. We can't say enough good about this hotel. The staff was fantastic, went out of their way to assist us in any way they could. English/French is absolutely NOT an issue (we are English) It is an excellent location, shopping is a short drive. Couple of good restaurants within a block. Although a fair distance from Old Town Quebec, the hotel provided free shuttle, twice in morning to old town and twice in afternoon/early evening back to hotel. If you stay in Old Town after shuttle, there is great city bus (#25) service, right to the door. The hotel is very clean, and very Quiet. Their restaurant is also good. (We only had our breakfasts there,, ate mostly in old Town). Their outdoor pool is very clean with plenty of chairs. Only down side is bathroom is bit small with very little counter space. If we ever return would definitely stay here again.

Wife and I spent 4 days staying at this Best Western Premier. It is about 15 minutes by car to the old city OR take the complimentary shuttle from the hotel to the old city. Two trips in the morning and two trips back each day. And if you miss the shuttle there's the #25 bus that stops in front of the hotel to the old city. However, due to my wife's handicap we drove to the old city and found street parking at $2.50 per hour with 2 hours max. Enough for us to stroll around and we did this a few times. The Hotel......the front desk is staffed by several young ladies who always were pleasant and were willing to answer our questions. The Room.....the room was small but decorated nicely and it WAS CLEAN. The bathroom has a unique configuration because the toilet is up against the bathtub and the glass partition has to opened & closed to take a shower. The shower head caused some small flooding on the floor due to the shortness of the glass partition. The room does not have a microwave in it but one is available at the lobby's coffee station. Coffee Station.......2 mornings, the coffee in this station was cold and there is only sugar for guests. Come on management, not everyone can use sugar and providing Equal, Splenda would be great. Parking......there is ample free parking but for a hotel this size there is only ONE HANDICAP parking spot. Take the two 10 minute spots and convert them to handicap parking. None of these spots would be ideal for a handicap van needing access from both sides. Restaurants......several within walking distant and a SHELL gas station across the street where they pump your gas and provide mechanics. Best Western Members......unlike Best Westerns in the USA, this location does not provide a free breakfast. Overall.....4 Stars and easily could be 5.

The rooms are well thought out, and attractive. The staff is attentive. Our room was quiet and we slept well. The shuttle took you right downtown right across from the tourist center, where you could sign up for tours. I believe the shuttle service is just in service until Oct 1 then resumes in Spring. The only thing that didn't particularly impress us was the breakfast package, the food was good but rather limited in choices. It would have been great to have some fresh fruit options available. We would definitely stay again.

The Hotel l'Aristocrate was a lovely place to stay while in Quebec City. Our room was spacious and comfortable- very quiet. The staff was wonderful. The big, outdoor pool was a real treat. The free shuttle to Old Quebec City was quite handy.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our visit to Quebec City. It is located in Ste-Foy about 9 kilometres from the Old City. The rooms seem expensive but they are in keeping with what everyone else is charging, actually less and the closer you get to Vieux Quebec the more you'll pay. They have a free shuttle that leaves at 08!0 and 0940 in the morning and returns at 1530 and 1800. Be on time for the returns, it leaves right on the time. The one day it was pouring rain while were in the city so we grabbed a taxi back to the hotel. It was $26 including the tip.....but it was Sunday and very light traffic. We had a King, NS room with a balcony. The balcony didn't look over anything special but it was nice to be able to sit outside. The room was small but very efficiently appointed. A closet with a safe in it. There is a fridge in the room as well. The bathroom is quite small with a walk in shower and could use a shelf under the sink. No counter space to speak of. Room was clean and the housekeeping was good every day. Didn't hear street noise. The staff were excellent. The switched to English the minute I said Hello. They were all very helpful with information and how to get around the city. There is a fancy restaurant in the hotel but we did not try it. The prices were high and we ate downtown as well as at a couple of places within a block of the hotel. We would stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western Premier in Quebec City for three nights. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, rooms were clean and modern and the bathrooms were up to the same standard as much more expensive hotels. Although it's too far of a walk to old Town, they offer a free shuttle twice a day. There are many restaurants nearby as well. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. I would stay here again for sure.

Excellent hotel with a great staff. The hotel was extremely clean, modern, comfortable and affordable. Quiet rooms and very close to major highway into the city. On top of that, they have a free shuttle bus to the old town of Quebec (drop off at the Frontenac). They also have a nice swimming pool and fitness center. Free parking and the hotel is near some places to eat. I had a pleasant stay and would stay there again if I were back in the area.

A very nice place to stay. We required a room due to a flight cancellation, and secured the only room left that night. The restaurant is very good, but not casual fare, if you are thinking of bringing kids there to dine. Staff were great and the place is very clean and new. However, other guests were very noisy and the rooms are not soundproof.

So easy to get to and what a beautiful hotel. Beds are so comfortable and a beautiful balcony was awesome for our morning coffee and evening night cap. Close to everything shopping grocery store and amazing restaurants. Don't have to go far to eat as the Fenouille restaurant in the hotel had delicious food. Communication was so easy and all the hotel staff spoke English to us. I tried not to offend them with my rusty French but they were very encouraging.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room's decor was awesome. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had at a hotel. The bathroom was very clean and stylish with a really nice rainshower showerhead. I felt very pampered. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Quebec City. Highly recommend!!!

This is not usually my measuring stick for a hotel, but this bed was so amazing I had to lead with it. The bed is heaven to sink into especially after a long day of walking Quebec City. We did stay in a suite which was perfect for our family of four. It provided a full living room with an equally comfy Murphy bed for the kids. The bathroom is spa quality with radiant-heat flooring, jetted garden tub and separate glass shower. Our room also had a huge balcony and laminate wood floors (the first time I've seen non-carpeted rooms) The location is great for highway travel, but all tourist attractions we either drove or took Uber.

It was our first time staying at this hotel. We are very satisfied with the hotel and the service. They do have a restaurant but breakfast is not included in the price of the room. We did not go to the restaurant so I have no comment.

The room was nice, clean, pretty modern and had comfortable beds. It's close to highway and a mall. Not far driving from the downtown. Overall a good deal, I will choose it again next time I'm in Quebec.

This is a nice hotel offering a shuttle into town, which is great as it's a little way out of town, I chose this hotel based on two queens in a room and free parking, something you can't get in town. The restaurant is very heavily priced, but luckily the restaurant over the road is not and it is extremely good. Breakfast on the other hand was good and reasonably priced. Our room was nice but small, it was acceptable for two nights and the beds were very good. Although it's right on a highway you can't hear it at all. All in all a good place to stay.

Very nice hotel with good parking and reasonable rates. The restaurant inside is actually rather high end with very fancy accommodations and dishes. The outdoor pool is fun for a splash and there is an amazing Italian place just 2 minute walk up the street. The big knock that made this stay less than ideal was horrible wifi. We experienced nonstop dropped connections every few minutes making the internet generally unusable.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Best Western back in March while visiting Quebec City. The staff at the front desk was warm, switching to English to engage us after realizing we're from the States, and the room was nicely furnished. We ate at the in-hotel restaurant, which, although expensive, served delicious entrees and dessert. My only complaint was that you could sometimes hear noise from the hallways, and a bit more soundproofing would be nice, but ultimately that did not detract from what was a wonderful stay.

Just stayed at this Best Western in Quebec City. We had a King Size bed and the room was very modern and had a beautiful walk in shower with rain head. This hotel also has an outdoor pool with table and chairs and is quite nice and relaxing. It's not far from the aquarium and the bridges leading in and out of Quebec City. Staff are fully bilingual and very pleasant. Only downfall is the restaurant which is way to fancy and expensive for us. There are a few Italian restaurants around and a Metro grocery store all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a good example of what a group of dedicated people can accomplish when working together toward a single goal, that of making our stay an exceptional one. What is impressive is that they are succeeding in doing it year after year, never dropping the ball. If something needs attention, they are always right on top of things. While it is situated at the periphery of the town, it is better located than most hotels because free parking is not a problem. It has easy access to Old Quebec, by car via Boulevard Champlain, or by a shuttle service, yet has the advantage of being close to a good number of excellent restaurants and a major shopping area in Ste-Foy. Attentive and friendly, all the services come with a smile and the rooms are always impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and efficient and quietly-running air conditioning systems. Very comfortable, great parking, walking distance to many restaurant and Metro. Wanted to use the pool but it closed at 8 pm. Way too early for me. Would go back without any hesitation. We had breakfast at Le fenouille, the hotel restaurant. Best egg benefit in my life ! Worth the extra $$

Very beautiful and clean hotel. The bathroom in our room was just done beautifully. The bed was so comfortable and all was clean. The staff was very friendly and it was great they all spoke English as well as French.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay when visiting Quebec City, this is your place! It was very easy to locate off of the highway and we didn't move our vehicle the entire stay. We were worried about having a large vehicle and parking in Old Quebec and were so glad we decided to stay at this hotel and leave our truck after seeing how narrow the roads are and the lack of easy parking. We took advantage of the free shuttle to Old Quebec each day and rode the city bus (#25) back. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in guiding our transportation needs. We were able to visit everything on foot including Upper and Lower town, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel and Dufferin Terrace. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and the bed comfortable. We especially liked the wood floors and rain shower. The pool area was very clean and well maintained. If you have a chance we also highly recommend Le Manoir restaurant almost across the street. The pasta was very good. We had heard the restaurant in the hotel was good, but were looking for something more casual. There is also a small Metro grocery store almost connected to the parking lot of the hotel if you'd like to buy some snacks. We will definitely return to this hotel when visiting Quebec City. For location, value, comfort and friendliness, I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Rooms were great. Halls were warm which caused a slight bit of condensation on the tiles when you entered. You had to watch your step. Food was enjoyable and staff attentive. A nice variety was available to suite most peoples tastes. Prices were comparable. Pool was nice if small for a hotel this size and had a lifeguard present. It had a shallow area for inexperienced swimmers as well as a deep end for adult lounging / play. Towels were available poolside so you didn't need to bring ones from your room.

Very nice hotel, the staff is very friendly, the rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was not included but the food in the hotel restaurant was very good, a free shuttle is supplied to the city which saves driving and looking for parking spots. The hotel is difficult to find and even more difficult to get back on the road. It is about 20 minutes from the Old Town but the hotel does provide at no cost, two morning and two afternoon, shuttles. So you are not close to the action unless you want to go to the aquarium, which is close. There is an expensive restaurant on the property. Breakfast was not included with our room, and know meals in the restaurant are not inexpensive here. The room was ok. The bed was great. The bathroom was small. They had the cheapest TV package so FOX News and many premium channels were not available. The internet service was awful the two days I was there. Know there are alternative dinning venues within walking distance of the property. All said, I likely won't stay here again.

What a great hotel! Very modern - the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is situated about 20 minutes outside of Quebec City - but offers a free shuttle to and from. We were travelling in an RV - and there is parking available to accommodate out 30 ft ride. I would highly recommend!

Lovely place, we stayed in the Kingsize plus room with jaccuzi bath which was so relaxing. A table with two armchairs, often not the case, but a must in my opinion as this adds to the comfort. Many places just have 1 chair and the other person has to sit on the bed. Lovely decor and very clean and ultra modern. The room also had a balcony. The only negative I would say is it's location next to a busy freeway and road. The place itself however is beautiful and also has a free shuttle twice a day there and back to Quebec City.

Great location if you are visiting Quebec! The hotel is located in a nice suburban area right off of major roads & about 10 min from the airport--a very convenient location. You can drive into the Old City, take a local bus (one block from the hotel) or during the summer season the hotel offers a FREE shuttle (2X a day) into the city. The bike trail into the city is also very close by--so you can bike into town. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store. The hotel is a little bit older--but has been refurbished and the rooms are nice. The hotel restaurant is quite nice--we didn't eat dinner there but enjoyed two gourmet breakfasts--absolutely delicious (the hotel gave us a 15%) off coupon for the restaurant. We also had a fridge--and free water bottles and delicious coffee in our room .The front desk staff were incredibly helpful--and friendly. We asked them tons of questions and they cheerfully answered every one. They gave us directions/instructions on using the local bus to get into town, dining suggestions, and instructions to drive to a nearby mall (very upscale). The room rate was significantly less than staying in the Old City and with the transportation options, the local dining options and the super friendly staff--we were extremely happy with our choice to stay at the Best Western--would definitely stay again.

Check in was fast and efficient as was check out. Ample parking. Rooms and lobby area look recently renovated. In room fridge (great for those on road trips). Bed was comfortable but fridge made some odd noises- more noticeable at night when all is quiet. (we should have said something about the noise but didn't get around to it) The restaurant has a great reputation. Ate dinner there the last visit and it was fantastic- sadly, didn't eat there this time. We booked directly on the BW website and got good value (weeknight).

Great hotel to use when visiting Quebec City as it is convenient to the bridge over the St. Lawrence and to major highways. Great value for money and a great restaurant. The hotel is quiet with comfortable updated rooms. Lots of shopping within 10 minute drive. Our favourite place to stay in this city.

The hotel is a very clean and modern facility convenient to the airport. My room was clean and comfortable although a bit small. The exercise room is well equipped but the pool was empty. The attached restaurant has a diverse menu but it is expensive for a Best Western. The bar is tiny. Overall a very pleasant hotel.

Just an absolutely beautiful hotel inside and out. If you can, book a room on the second floor with a balcony. You can see the 2 Quebec bridges and it is just a really pretty view. The restaurant is very fancy and the food is very good and very unique. For father's day it was very busy with people from outside the hotel. The room was very cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were the BEST I have ever slept on!!! Highly recommend this place!

I've been to this hotel over 10 times and it gets better every time. I brought my wife here for the first time and she was totally blown away by every aspect of this hotel. The staff here is outstanding. Every single person we've dealt with here has been friendly and helpful. They've even ordered food for us in French since we don't speak the language. That is “super service”. The rooms are always big and spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are always fresh and clean. The water here is probably the best we've ever had at any hotel. The sink water is fresh and clean. And the shower pressure is phenomenal. The best shower we've ever used in any hotel. And there are plenty of shopping and dining options close to the hotel. And the old city is about 15 minutes from the hotel by car. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Quèbec City

Comfortable rooms. friendly and professional staff at the front desk. Rooms facing the back are more quiet, whereas you can have a view of the rwo bridges on the front side. I have stayed at this hotel many times.

Fabulous restaurant! Food AND service! La Fénouillière is one of the best restaurants anywhere. Lovely rooms. Friendly staff. Perfectly bilingual. We stayed here and took city transport into the city. It was the best!

Our 4 day long week end get away in Quebec City was enhanced by our staying at this fine hotel. it is modern, well kept, clean with friendly & knowledgeable staff. Only one issue.The unsafe shower enclosure. Lack of non slip floor covering and no hand holds or grab bars can only mean the tiny soap dish protruding from the wall will soon be snapped off when the occupant slips and falls.

As Diamond members with this chain, we choose this hotel because of its rating and location. We weren't disappointed with either but did find some other items that we questioned. It's a "Premier" class of BW so it is very clean with great service and great staff. On the other hand we found the room we had to be on the smallish side even though we were upgraded. The bathroom did not have a lot of space for your stuff so much of it had to be kept outside of the bath near the coffee maker. However, the bed was comfortable and the TV and internet worked as expected. The Rain Shower was a nice touch. Surprisingly, they do not have a coffee bar for a quick cup on the way out as do the standard and Plus Best Westerns. More than likely they want you to have a breakfast in the on site restaurant. We did not dine there but hear it is lovely. It's about a 15 minute drive to all the attractions of Old Town and Veronica at the front desk was very helpful in the way she assisted us to navigate and dine in the area. She handled multiple situations with other guests with a skill set that is rare today. Bottom line is that you will get a good nights rest here along with good service from a caring staff.

This hotel is located near a Highway and residential area. Very easy access to the Highway and easy walk to restaurants near by. The hotel is very clean and only has 2 floors. the hotel offers a choice of rooms with or without balconies on the 2nd floor. The price is adequate for the region and the staff are just fantastic. I will definitely go back there again.

I like this place because of its location and easy access. Every time I am in Quebec for business, I always choose this place. I had little issues in the pass but nothing badly rate this place. The staff are always nice, the place is clean and the food is good.

Very good value and cleanliness in room and bathroom. Plentiful on site parking and friendly staff. We take seriously to participate in the rewards system and our room was fully covered - not a cent to pay on checkout.

Great service! The breakfast is expensive but that's a tourist city so understandable. The counter clerks were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are modern and clean. The beds are super comfy. Great experience. I'll come again for sure!

I've stayed at many hotels and can honestly say I found this the most comfortable king bed I've ever slept on...including my own! The hotel offers clean, modern rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The bathroom has no tub, however the spacious shower offers beautiful tile and a large rainshower head During our 4 night stay the room was always meticulously cleaned, bed made, and amenities replaced upon our return. Our room on the second floor also had a lovely balcony, however the -15 outdoor temps prevented us from using it. I noticed many people reviewing this hotel found the rooms noisy and I would have to agree. The noise comes in through the door not so much through the walls. If someone is in the hallway you can hear every sound, but an easy fix for the hotel would be to put weather stripping around the doors to make the rooms quieter. Located close to shops, restaurants, and approx 20 mins from Historic Quebec City, this hotel is an excellent choice for travelers. It offers great value with free parking, wifi and unlimited Keurig coffee/tea in the lobby 24 hrs/day. If you're planning on visiting Quebec City make sure to check-in to the Premiere Hotel l'Aristocrate!

Very surprised wth this hotel , clean , modern , nice gym and upscale restaurant. Room had strong rain shower , and nice wood flors---no carpets , nice size room. very friendly staff.Bed was super comfo.

Stayed for 3 nights in February whilst my son competed in a competition. Excellent hotel that is very central to everything. Staff were excellent, especially the front desk. I only speak a few words of French, but the staff had excellent English and were always willing to take the time to explain things or answer questions. Room was very good and up to date. There is a small Metro grocery store just behind the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

This is by far my favorite hotel in Canada. It's a beautiful place and the price is always fair. The staff goes above and beyond every time I stay here. Estelle is always wonderful when I'm here. She called me a taxi and communicated with the cab company in French because I don't speak the language. And she also wrote me dialogue to give to the driver to get to my location. She also called in a take out order for me and it was delivered to my room. She is the best. Always a phenomenal stay at a fair price. Best Best Western ever

A last minute booking as I got a snowstorm just outside of Quebec City. Staff was very friendly on check in and check out especially in giving driving directions. The room fixtures were very modern and impressive. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a very nice fitness room as well. The room had a very nice 42" LG flat screen although the number of sport channels was lacking. The major issue was the dining room prices were out of my range and I would say most families. As well the room had no fridge or microwave. The good news is there is a Metro just behind the hotel and a couple of affordable restaurants near by

We have stayed here on two separate occasions. The Restaurant is first class, This visit we had a room on the second floor with a balcony, this would be lovely in the warmer weather. We will definetly stay again.

Very good hotel. It is as comfortable as the one in downtown Quebec-city, but is way cheaper. Nice staff, clean rooms, absolutely quite electric heating. There are only two little issues there: small rooms and non-free breakfast. It is not a big deal, but at least breakfast could be free as in many other Best Western hotels

Thanks to Audrey and Pauline for their amazing dedication to us. We felt like we were important and we were so comfortable with the personnel, we did not want to leave this place. Thanks again to the personnel for customer care and to the restaurant for accommodating us in our late reservations. We will definitely re-visit this place and recommend it to all..

Stayed for New Years eve. Good proximity to get to Old Quebec City, and just up the road from the Aquarium. Typical, clean hotel room Restaurant was a bit high end for the hotel, so we had to go elsewhere for our meals, and bought snacks for the room.

Very nice hotel - comfortable rooms, perfect size for 2 persons, very clean and well equipped. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful, the same as any other hotel staff. Although breakfast is not included in the room rate, prices are reasonable and food is very tasty. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant, but I assume it's equally good. Hotel is located outside the Québec Old Town, but honestly it's not problematic at all. You can still take your car and park in the centre, I believe that in summer hotel offers a shuttle, alternatively there's always a taxi.

Near the Quebec Aquarium. Staff friendly. Not all are able to converse in English. Poor selection of nearby restaurants, especially after the attached one is closed for the night. Room service closes at the same time.

Although I booked this hotel on my aeroplan points it's still still a great deal for the price per night (as I checked on travel sites$109/night on hotels.com). The personal at reception were super nice, accommodating and efficient. Our room on the second floor was clean, good size and modern. The bathroom had shampoo soap lotion which smelled nice. (I've been to some hotels and there is nothing which is a pain if you are just staying for a couple of nights) There was a coffee maker, tea and wine glasses. Wifi was fast. We had an amazing Sunday brunch at the hotel downstairs with great staff. Brunch was reasonable, fancy, decadent with fresh juice and delicious cafe au lait. Super friendly staff and accommodating. Our room had one double bed and one queen bed. we had a view of the back parking lot which was fine as the view in the front is not any better. It's a great hotel for an overnight stay if you are passing through for a weekend. I must say that I really liked this hotel. The hotel was a 20 minute uber ride to Grande Allee for dinner and drinks. About $16-17 ride each way. Uber drivers were great too!

From the warm welcome upon arrival at reception, to the modern and contemporary, elegant decor, to the amazingly comfortable bed...a truly wonderful experience! Attractive hotel, well furnished, good value for money. No need to look further for great stay in the Quebec City area!

It wad a very nice suite with services ag proximity and very great comfortable beds to sleep in. I was very bappy with rhe appearance and the free wifi plus gelevisip channels being available. Excellent price aswell

I recommend this hotel for people who have business in Ste-Foy. It's also close to the airport and a major shopping district, and about 25 minutes to le Vieux-Québec. There is public transit nearby and there's a good restaurant and bar in the hotel. Rates are very reasonable and service is courteous.

I have been staying there over the past six years and have never had one complaint. Everyone who works there care about their clients. I will and have highly recommended this hotel. The last 2 times I was there were for my father's death and now recently for my mother's passing. The employees had the greatest compassion for my loss.

The staff were wonderful from desk to cleaners (out of their way to to help) to staff in restaurant... loved the king size bed so comfy and clean room.. Hotel itself is so well situated near shopping malls... all in all it we will definitely be back ... easy access and free parking is appreciated

Hotel is well situated for the business I was there for. More over, the hotel is fairly new therefore amenities are in good working condition and the rooms are very clean. There was an unpleasant smell but nothing major. Overall, I liked my stay.

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights, the staff was exceptionally helpful and bilingual. The room was very clean and updated and the hotel was close to a store and the bus stop was right across the street to go to Old Quebec. Very reasonable and highly recommended!
