This was a wonderful hotel! We went with a group for a car show and their housekeeping staff worked extra hard to have the rooms ready for us by noon, instead of having to wait until check in time at 3:00 p.m. They set out buckets and rags in strategic places, along with hoses, for us to clean our cars. The rooms were nice large rooms and very clean. We had 2 queen beds, 2 chairs, a recliner chair and desk. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The internet was sufficient for our use. Being so close to the freeway, we could hear traffic noise, but it wasn't bad. The breakfast was great, including hot selections of eggs, potatoes and waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, etc. They also made omelets to order. They provided coffee in the lobby and a fantastic expresso machine for variety. We didn't use their pool or hot tub since they were next to wineries to visit. Fast food restaurants are close to walk to.
I loved the location near the Vitners Village and the Centennial Path, which I used several times on walks to the Prosser historic homes and downtown. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was great, especially the omelet bar and occasional homemade baked goods. The parking was generous enough for my fire engine. The employees were all friendly and helpful.
Enjoyable stay. Good breakfast options. Custom omelets. Room was clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value.
The Inn At Horse Heaven is clean, cozy, close to all the Prossor events, has a great breakfast with custom omelets! This hotel was located very close to all the Prossor Wine/Music events, so it was easy to travel to the different winery music events. The Mexican restaurant next door, Las Palomas, is within walking distance, and great food - which was suggested by the hotel staff front desk. This hotel could use a luggage cart located in the 2nd bldg, so it's more convenient. Staff could check to make sure room is fully stock with the shower soaps. I have pretty high standards, but we stay at Salish Lodge, Snoqualmie frequently, so the bar is set high!
I have stayed here on my way to Seattle on multiple occasions the staff is always prepared for my arrival with water, special requested ground floor room, and breakfast items they go back and get if they run out. They are working constantly. Although this location is off the freeway, it is down a side road where it is nice and quiet. The pool and spa are very clean.
Prosser is primarily a wine touring location and this hotel is within walking distance of the main wineries. It is also a short walk to coffee, pharmacy and food. Facilties are clean and new.
The room was clean with the usual amenities I'd expect. The bathroom was small and oddly shaped. There were four pillows per bed, but all of them were very soft and squashed flat with any weight - if you need any kind of elevation or head/neck support, you're out of luck. Even stacking the pillows didn't help much. Please, hotels - have two firm and two soft pillows so that guests can choose which they need. It's not hard to do. Ask for a room at the front of the hotel - a major highway runs behind it, so the rooms at the back hear trucks in the night.
Very close to downtown. Walkable area. Clean. Wineries nearby. Families in the area. Nice pool areas. One inside and another outside.
great hotel, great amenities and very friendly and helpful staff. There scratch made omelets for breakfast are a great bonus. There is also a fantastic Chinese restaurant just down the street and a Dutch bro's coffee in walking distance for am coffee. Well worth driving the extra 30 miles from kennewick to stay here ..
Great hotel in Prosser. Within walking distance of several wine tasting rooms and an excellent restaurant. Rooms are very nice and made to order omelets at breakfast are delicious. Great value in an excellent location.
Second stay here. “Amanda” at the front desk actually remembered us and greeted us by name! Made us feel like family (the good kind)!! But it kept going with other staff…. “Margarita” was cleaning a hallway and welcomed us into the second building and even helped us find our room. The next morning at the expansive, free breakfast, Margrita remembered me and again went out of her way to offer much needed help. So to say this place is friendly is the world's largest understatement. Oh yes, our suite simply couldn't be better! THANK YOU!
Great location. East access from freeway. Well kept, staff super friendly. Dining options across the street. Great place from which to explore Prosser.
Everything about our hotel stay was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a great value. Love having a window to open. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Lots of parking available. The location is convenient to town and areas to take a morning walk. We'll stay here anytime we're in the Prosser area.
Location; Winery's are walking distance, Comfortable Beds, Pet Friendly, Helpful and nice Staff, Great coffee, very good breakfast, (Omelets made to order) make this our family's go to when staying in Prosser, Washington.
Diamond members here. On our way to visit family we decided to use points to stay the night as it was getting late. We reserved a king room with points. I asked, if possible, for an top floor for extra quiet. Upon arrival we were not even greeted and then after giving our names, told our king room was given to another guest and we could have a double queen room on the first floor. Exactly opposite of my request/reservation. Since it was mid week and not even remotely full, I would assume they would upgrade a diamond member if the room we reserved had been given away. We agreed to take it since we were very tired and they said it was a very quiet area since there was no one above us. It was a very dated and smelly room and it was next to the highway and extremely loud traffic all night. Since we were only there one night we didn't bother moving. The morning shift were much more friendly and the omelet was delicious. However I would not stay at this best western again. A few miles down the road we had two more best western plus choices. Next time we'll go there.
The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are super nice and ready to help if needed. Breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. Coffee was always available and loved the espresso machine!!! I will be staying there again.
Very nice property. Staff was very helpful. Property and the grounds were very clean. No doubt we would stay there again. .Breakfast was awesome. You can't beat the location. Easy on and off the highway.
The hotel is clean and pleasant. The rooms are nice. The layout of the room is user friendly. From the time I arrived to the time I left the staff were amazing. I somehow lost my key card. I forgot a couple things in the room. They loaned me a new key card to retrieve the forgotten items.
Dog friendly nice hotel in Prosser. We came with dog and kid here. The indoor pool is 80degrees and lovely. Right next to the indoor hot tub. Towels provided and easy to use. Only thing to know is most rooms are in a different building but it is very close. Check in was easy. Person was nice. Rooms seem updated and clean. Soundproofing could be better, but it ain't a five star resort :)
Had another pleasant stay at the BW+ Inn at Horse Heaven in Prosser, WA. Staff is always friendly and helpful and rooms are comfortable. The hotel is situated near lots of eating choices and convenient to the interstate hwy. Lots of wineries nearby and close to downtown Prosser. I would recommend staying there.
this was perfect for our wine tasting weekend. the hotel is very modern and clean. spacious rooms with fridge and Keurig. the breakfast was way way better than we expected and even had a cook making omelets to order. ample parking..
This was a horrible visit except for breakfast, and that is the only reason for the 2 stars. I am required to travel with a service dog, which was not a problem as they are pet friendly. After many tries to get our keys to work, we finally made it to the first room. Our dog immediately started smelling the carpet, which was a clear sign that other dogs had been in the room and not cleaned properly. But when she started smelling the foot of the bed.... A dog had lifted his leg on the bed. well, that was not what I wanted to sleep in. I returned to the front desk. She gave us another room and went with us to make sure there was not a problem. As soon as the room was opened, we both could smell the smoke. Someone had smoked in the room. Back to the front desk for another room. The young lady who helped us talked us into one more try. I was ready to go find anything else. The final room was fine and clean, and the keys worked sometimes. Most times, the people left the door stuck open. The only security I saw was that they had some cameras. Now, breakfast was very good with lots of options. However, we will not be returning there and can't recommend it.
My wife and stayed at the The Best Western Plus The Inn at Horse Heaven for two nights while touring a few of the local wineries. Upon arrival, the front desk provided some god information on tasting rooms close to the hotel. Housekeeping did a excellent job and the breakfast (made to order omelette's) got the day off to a great start. We would definitely stay at this Best Western again when visiting the Prosser area.
Hotel was in easy walking distance to tasting rooms, it had both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Breakfast in the morning was better than most breakfasts that hotels offer. If you are in this area, I would highly recommend staying here.
This little gem is clean and quiet. Front desk folks were wonderful and informative for things to do in and around the area. Breakfast was plentiful. Nice little gateway to wine tasting, Eastern Washington, Oregon and the Columbia Gorge.
Cheerful and friendly front desk, slept good, and the breakfast had many choices, including freshly made omelets! Everything was clean, and amenities were good. It was a bit pricey, but it was cheaper than some of the motels we stayed at on our 9 day trip down and up the western coast.
Clean comfy room. Our second floor room facing town was spacious and overlooked the outdoor pool. The hotel has two pools, one outdoors and one indoors. The breakfast included made to order omelettes, hash browns, and many other choices. There was attention to detail throughout the hotel interior and the outdoor spaces
Great room, comfortable bed, up to date accommodation and best breakfast ever with freshly made, personally chosen ingredients in omelets! Fresh muffins, choice of toast, etc. Large variety of breakfast food choices
We are truckers and enjoyed our stay very much. We appreciated the truck parking. We used the indoor pool and made sure to get the complimentary breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a fridge, microwave and enough outlets. We also appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Would stay again.
Go for the complimentary breakfast - made to order omelet bar! Beautiful pool and exercise room. Quiet location off the highway with a nice variety of fastfood options, restaurants and wineries. Will use this facility again.
We like the vibe here, they have a couple pools&hot tub. People are generally friendly. Rooms are equipped with fridge and microwave as well. We like they've added an omelet station for breakfast and they have coffee all the time at front desk.
This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at, all of the staff members were great. They all went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were taken care. They knew my vehicle broke down and they gave me a discounted price to help me out and it means a lot. I will definitely be staying here again. I rate this hotel a 10/10.
Tons of rave reviews, what could go wrong? 1. No elevator. Seriously? Isn't that the law? Whatever. Lame! 2. Room stunk terribly from what I THINK was new carpeting. Off gassing made my throat burn. 3. It was clean and quiet. 4. Breakfast was cold. Potatoes was incredibly salty. Let us salt our own potatoes on? Coffee was cold. The breakfast area was freezing. They had the back door open. Underwhelming. Not very friendly. Meh
We were waiting here for 20 minutes and nobody came to attend us. The place was super dark and not one person in sight. Over all it looks nice to bad we didn't get to stay here because no one showed up. Pool is closed too. Looks pretty just wouldn't want to come again and wait again
Best western is a great chain. It is the only hotel that I go to anymore. Most of the time the staff are great and will go above and beyond to get you what you need if you forgot anything. The breakfast are pretty good. I wish they would add bacon, or ham to their menu.
We had a delicious omelet in the clean dining room at the start of our day. My husband and I got in some outdoor exercise through some of the neighborhoods close by. I would highly recommend this hotel as a base for winery tours.
Updates at this location are great. Great walking location to many wine tasting rooms in the area. Plus two coffee stands, Dutch Bros. and Starbucks. Dinner options in Prosser are only a few minutes away.
I booked two rooms at the Best Western in Prosser WA. One pet room and one individual room, paying a premium amount for a terrible experience. The pet room smelled like molded carpet and the bed covers were stained on top and under the sheets. It took me over an hour to find other accommodations elsewhere in town. After bringing the issue to the front desk they assured me that everything will be taken care of. I respectfully told them what the issues were and the young lady at the front desk told me the manager would be in contact with me. About two hours go by and I recieved a call from the front desk telling me the manager decided that since I took an hour to report the issue they will charge me anyway. The room was completely unsanitary and I would not have my wife and two young kids staying in such a disgusting room. The manage refused to speak to me about the issue and I was told that I would have to call her on her schedule the following day. I was told that the manager did not smell anything and couldn't find any stains. I have stayed at plenty of Best Western hotels over many many years and this by far is the worst experience and the most filthy Best Western yet. This experience with this location has me questioning doing business with any future Best Western locations.
The Inn at Horse Heaven is wonderful! Extremely clean and the best hotel breakfast we have had. The pool looked very inviting. Restaurants within walki g distance. Easy access on and off the interstate. We will definitely stay here again.
This Best Western Hotel has the best hotel breakfast I have experienced ( mostly due to the made to order omelette ). The hotel is in the middle of wine country, so if you like to go wine tasting, this is a great staging spot.
I always have an excellent experience with the staff, the room, amenities and I can spend the night with my dog. The rooms are always clean and even though it is a dog specific room, the rooms are always odor free. The rooms are quiet. I am always upfront with the staff that I have dog(s) with me, there has never been a problem. I love that I can travel with my dogs and when I need a place to stay with them, I can always count on Best Western. Thank you.
I've stayed at the Horse Haven numerous times between 2016 to present when I'm working in the area, I prefer staying here because the whole facility and the rooms are well maintained, the staff are bunch of good people and I've met the marketing director a few weeks ago and he tries his best to keep us coming back year after year and he's s being successful.
Booked a stay for 2 nights in March, ended up extending for one more night. Hotel is extremely well located and staff friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and breakfast was substantial and very good. We will return.
My wife and I spent 2 nights at this Best Western while visiting family in Prosser. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the room very adequate, and the price hard to beat. The free breakfast was excellent and included a made to order omelette.
We tend to always stay here when we go to wine country in the Prosser area and it never disappoints. Nice rooms, nice pool and hot tub, great breakfast at a reasonable cost. This is a great destination and a great place to stay.
My family and I visited Prosser for a weekend in February. We originally booked at the Holiday Inn across the way but moved our reservation to Best Western to be within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the wine village. I am glad we did. The service at Best Western Plus was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the hot breakfast with Belgium waffles and made to order omelets, the indoor heated pool and hot tub, and the larger size rooms. Rooms are a bit outdated but I found the beds incredibly comfortable. We will definitely return.
This is conveniently located hotel in Prosser, walking distance to wineries and restaurants. Lots of fast food options nearby. Clean room with comfy bed, friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was ok. Would stay again.
Staff is over the top helpful and friendly. A good solid hotel in a very convenient location. Close to Prosser Wineries, good breakfast, ample parking. Room décor, lighting and sundries could use some improvement and updating. I would stay here again if in the area.
Group of couples met for the Balloon festival and wine tasting! Perfect location near tasting rooms. Lots of fast food close but no walking distance restaurants. Great breakfast included, with made to order omelets and a waffle station.
My family had a very enjoyable stay at the Best Western at Horse Heaven. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff at check-in; the spacious king room with a kitchen was super clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast helps make this hotel an economical place to stay, and the breakfast staff does a great job with made-to-order omelets and keeping the variety of breakfast items stocked. We used the indoor pool and jacuzzi and had it to ourselves. There is also an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The outdoor gazebo has a bbq grill where I saw other guests gather in the evenings. Restaurants and tasting rooms are within walking distance. This is the third time I've stayed at this property and it is always my first choice when I'm in Prosser. Thank you!
Looking for a place to stay in a Small Town where you are holding your Class Reunion; where you can be close to the action, have Museums, Wineries, Antique shops, etc. available to you.? Go to Prosser, Washington's Best Western PLUS. Their congenial, professional Staff goes above & beyond to make you comfortable & to make your stay a positive experience.
The experience was generally quite favorable. I would recommend that they replace the thick hallway carpeting with something more friendly to suitcases with wheels. Also, update the miniature toilets. Being a man I didn't appreciate my "Manhood" getting an unexpected bath.
I've stayed here in the past and all of my stays here have been excellent, no issues at all, the great thing about the location is there's a variety of restaurants within walking distance and it very close and easy to get to from the interstate, ample parking for trucks as well.
Outdated decor, orange and browns. They did ditch the comforters for washable thin ones but whats up with the bed shirts. Carpets in rooms were dirty, my first room had a non working toilet. The staff at front desk seemed bored and didn't care but the breakfast ladies were great and so was my fresh made to order omlete.
This is a fine Best Western where we had a positive lodging experience. The service desk personnel were polite and helpful and the breakfast was very complete. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers!
I travel to Idaho once or twice a year on business and like to break the trip up for easier driving. "The Inn at Horse Heaven" is my choice for an overnight stay. Breakfast in the morning and I am on my way. Intend to get back with my wife for a wine tour. Now with things getting back to normal, maybe this is the time. The "Inn" will be our kick-off point for sure.
This is a great hotel to stay at if visiting Prosser. The staff are friendly and do their best to make your stay comfortable. The front-desk staff recommended a few good restaurants for dinner. The pool was nice on a hot evening. The breakfast had plenty of options.
We stayed 4 nights in this Best Western while visiting family in the area. We had adjoining rooms that made for a very nice apartment for my family of 6. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms large. The grounds of the hotel are very nice. My husband used the fitness center and appreciated the quality of the machines there. The AC was very cold which was much appreciated during this super hot summer. Breakfast was fantastic-omelets and other hot options every morning as well as standard continental fare. Fresh fruit was always available. They did run out of milk one morning, but we ate late every day so it was expected that something would run out eventually. That's the hazard of traveling with teens and young adults that like to sleep in. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Lovely area and well run establishment.
This hotel is located near the freeway and a wine mall in Prosser. Our room had a King bed, a sofa, chair, kitchen, and table. It was quiet, clean, and very spacious! There is an outdoor and indoor pool-both small, but will cool you off. The breakfast area is now not self-serve, but you fill out forms for type of omelet or eggs you want, plus list all the other items you want and they're prepared and brought to your table. the omelets were excellent!
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Clean rooms, AC worked well. Could use more electrical outlets to plug into for curling irons, etc. would recommend to others and would stay here again.
We always stay here when we are in the Yakima valley wine shopping. Rooms have always been clean. The staff does a good job. There's also a nice pool for a cool dip on a hot day. It's close to a few spots to get dinner or a drive-thri. If you are just wine-cruising for a day or two it's a good spot to start from.
I have stayed here a few time in my travels in the Sunnyside/Prosser area. Great property and same of the rooms. There's ample parking for trucks. Several restaurants/fast food places very close by and two truck stops. I would definitely would stay again and have!
BW provided easy access, nice clean rooms, big and the breakfast with made to order omelets was a surprise. thoroughly enjoyed the location half way between wineries of zillah and red mountain and accross the street from the RV park where our friends were staying
Always a great check in and check out. Staff is always great, and very friendly and helpful. I have been staying for business for 10 years even after a newer hotel opened almost next door. Recently added a restaurant style made to order omelets..
Modern rooms in good condition. Referand microwave. Made to order omelets for breakfast. Pool and jacuzzi were open. Also now doing daily housekeeping. Several fast food restaurants nearby. Very pleasant place to stay
I was here about April 28, 2021, and had a wonderful stay. The best part was eating breakfast and meeting Maria and Elma. They prepared a yummy breakfast, and were kind, engaging, friendly...such sweet women! I could tell they are hard workers, for they were cleaning windows in the lobby as I was leaving. They kept the breakfast area clean and inviting. I got to practice Spanish with them ~ a bonus! People are always what makes a place, and these women did that for me. Thank you Maria and Elma..getting to know you a bit was a gift! Ashley at the desk was a big help to me too. Everyone I met there was kind and proud of being there. What a great place! The mattress was stellar!
I love this hotel. I travel from Huntington Beach to see my mom in Prosser and it is the ONLY place I ever stay. The staff make you feel right at home and Maria makes the best breakfast burritos :) Upon arrival the team make it very easy for check in and always greet me with a smile.
The female who checked us in was very friendly & welcoming. After checking in, we had a nice chat with a man who I assume was the manager. He asked us our reason for visiting Prosser, and gave us extremely helpful information on nearby wine tasting rooms and restaurants. The breakfast was one we have not experienced often, as we were able to request made-to-order omelets! We expected to receive brown bag pre-packaged breakfast due to COVID so were pleasantly surprised. The in-room coffee was delicious, as well. The only comment I have about the room is that while everything was clean, it was a little dated and could use some new decor.
I was going to give this place 2 stars until breakfast this morning. But because the staff was so friendly and the breakfast was great, I bumped it up to 3 stars. Truthfully, it was not worth the price. If you are like me and are traveling and trying to decide between the handful of options in Prosser, don't assume that this place is better based on price. We were put in a handicapped room and I have no idea why. Not a big deal, but it made the shower not so great. It's a pretty big hotel and there weren't many guests, yet there was someone right above us (who happened to be loud). Why not space guests out? The telephone didn't work, the WiFi was almost non-existent, the front desk person was friendly but couldn't help me with restaurants that deliver, the sheets and towels were a little dingy, and the room seemed a little less than clean. We weren't expecting the Ritz Carlton, but a little more attention to detail would have been appreciated.
We have used this BW Hotel over the past three years when traveling through Prosser and the Tri-cities area. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and close to MANY wine tasting venues and GOOD small town eateries. The staff is friendly and very accommodating and ready to assist in your needs. The breakfast is is fresh and plentiful. Plenty of parking for both cars and RVs.
The room was clean, most of it had been updated, although the fridge and dishwasher were pretty old. Very spacious, and very pleasant helpful staff. The breakfast was very good, with the option of a made to order omelet. You order then pick it up so that there is social distance between you and the staff, and you are not mingling with other guests because you take the meal back to your room to eat. The hotel lobby and common areas were very nicely decorated.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western at Horse Heaven, Some changes had to be made due to covid-19, but it was all done so well. Our room was clean & comfortable. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Breakfast was not the usual buffet, but there was a small menu to order from & eat in your room. We chose custom omelettes & they were very good! Great job making our stay so comfortable & pleasant in a tough time.
We love staying at The Inn At Horse Heaven. We have stayed there several times now and it is always something we look forward to. The pool and spa are wonderful and quickly ease the muscle stiffness of hours of driving. Omelets and burritos were made to order, even in this time of covid, and the coffee was always tasty and available, I highly recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was terrific, the upgraded rooms, and the wonderful customer service! Best Western Plus has a lot of extras and we plan on checking out more locations when we travel.
The late hour and foggy conditions combined to convince me to check out the Best Western Plus Inn At Horse Heaven. I was so pleased with the lovely accommodations and the delicious complementary breakfast that I signed up for the Rewards Program. I was particularly blessed by the the prayer for "The Stranger within our gates." I will be back.
Clean, well cared for, just off the freeway. Many restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Wine tasting just around the corner. Plenty of parking and space to walk / roam around. The room was clean and well stocked for a kitchen unit.
Room was clean, great, comfortable and the right price. Very quiet for being so close to the highway. Great to know there are pet friendly places out there. Added extra was the make your Omelet for breakfast plus all the other extras that came along with it.
I was so impressed with hotel. Dog friendly. The room was clean and updated. The coffee station had real ceramic coffee cups (eco friendly). The shower had the soap, shampoo and conditioner in the pumps on the wall. Less waste. The products smelled good and felt good. The area I was most impressed with was the pet area. It was well maintained. Lit at night, had bags handy. And there was no poop piles anywhere. Every pet friendly hotel I have ever stayed at did not do any upkeep in the dog area and was always full of poop.
We were traveling with our dog and it is a very dog friendly hotel. The people were really friendly, the room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and we will be staying there again for sure. And the breakfast was excellent!
This was a perfect place to stay. They even had home made soup for the evening.ing The morning breakfast was outstand. You could have eggs made to order, even over easy. The swimming pool was so nice and clean and I had never been in a hot tub with jets like theirs.
Great location for wine tasting as so many wineries in the vicinity. Several are within walking distance. Many nice places to bike including the very near centennial trail. Can walk to most anything you need.
This particular Best Western offered an extensive Breakfast including an Omlet Station. In the evening theh also provided hot soup, crackers and cookies for guests. To me, that is great value for service.
our room had a kitchen, fireplace and JACUZZI! It was conveniently located to amazing wine tasting and the front desk agent helped us plan our tasting to hit the most wineries while we were there! I would go again in a minute!
I needed a place to stay during my travels and I found this best Western, we was very pleased on how clean this hotel was and how friendly the staff was. The breakfast was good and even would make omlets for you. Just wish it had better offerings for non meat eaters.
Visiting Washington's wine country . . . perfect location! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. The breakfast omelette bar is a great way to start the day! Thanks for another wonderful stay!
We stopped for a couple of days in the Yakima valley and chose Best western for it's location, but we were very impressed by the amenities available and very friendly, helpful staff. The room was very comfortable; parking was available close to the room; they included a made to order omelet breakfast. All in all a comfortable, enjoyable stay.
My wife and I recently traveled to Washington wine country and sought out a hotel to spend the night. The reviews of the Best Western Plus led us to making a reservation. When we checked in, we were warmly greeted by Cris. He was very helpful in suggesting a restaurant where we could dine in town and offered other helpful suggestions. His recommendation for dinner was spot on. There was plentiful parking and our room at the hotel was clean and spacious. I particularly liked the soap, shampoo, & conditioner dispensers in the shower. In my opinion, this beats the small packages most hotels supply and is better for the environment. The breakfast included made to order omelets (if interested) as well as eggs and sausage. When we checked out, we were again greeted warmly and wished well on our travels. We plan on coming back to wine country in the next two years and we will be sure to stay at this hotel again.
We have stayed at this property multiple times, and the rooms are always clean and pleasant. The staff is very helpful as well. Location is excellent for wine tasting in this region. HOWEVER - during this stay they had a soft water problem wherein we could not actually rinse off the soft water treatment in the shower, or even washing out hands in the sink. Check with the front desk staff if that problem has been fixed before booking this hotel! We stayed in Building B. Otherwise, we will be staying there again next year.
This is a very nicely decorated hotel - clean rooms and welcoming decor. The beds are extremely comfortable and the the breakfast is excellent with made to order omelettes. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at.
Clean, comfortable, and omelets made to order. Pleasant outdoor patio made breakfast feel like a treat. No problem with charging the devices, there was a nifty little multi plug and usb charger on the bedside table. It's the little things.
wonderfully motel room and the breakfast was nice and hot.. room was clean and the television actually worked. the bed was comfortable and the towels were clean. ac actuallworked. which in my experience
Great Hotel. Perfect location. The hotel and rooms very clean. Breakfast was great and the Omelett bar is a great addition. The pool and hot tub was clean and great to be in the entire time. The grounds are in great shape and the staff was very hospitable.
A satisfactory Best Western Plus, right off the highway, next to a parking area for 18-wheeler trucks. What sets it apart from every other experience I've had in lodging is the religious slant: there are Bible proverbs in the hallways, and a Jesus-based prayer/wish card in the room. Just so you know, building A is where the check-in counter, lobby, breakfast room, indoor pool and indoor hot tub are. Building B has the outdoor pool and gym. PLUSES: Friendly staff. Grounds are very well kept and the hallways and elevators are clean (although the glass entry doors were covered with handprints). Mini-fridge is larger than most. Everything was clean, even if worn. No spots on the carpet, no scuffs on the walls, no tears in any of the fabrics. No duvets (which I wonder how often get washed); they have a thin blanket sandwiched between a heavier top sheet (does it get washed every time?) and a regular top sheet. A/C worked very well, and wasn't unusually noisy, and was very easy to use. The bathroom sink is separate from the shower/toilet. Although an older shower/tub fiberglass combo, the shower curtain is on a very generously bowed rod, so that it didn't feel cramped. Omelette station is a plus. (The omelettes are made by staff, who are slow at it, so each morning, it took about six minutes from placing order, to actually getting the omelette.) Bagels, muffins, oatmeal, sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits, starchy white gravy, DYI waffles. Many, many thanks and kudos for having the TV show a loop of local attractions, rather than the news. And the TV was silent--thank you!! NEGATIVES: Wifi is not secure. They give you a password, but it's just for show. There's no bell at the counter, so one has a bit of a wait for the desk clerk to realize that customers are standing there. This happened both times I needed attention, and both times I had to wait to wait a bit for the clerk to appear from behind the closed door. The art in the room was a bit out of date (ducks flying over a marsh). The cushioned armchair in room had worn fabric, (but appeared clean, and the fabric wasn't torn). The furniture and decore are old fashioned. I'm torn between not wanting to generate more landfill by replacing serviceable, but out-of-style furnishings, with more modern, sleeker, designs, but then, I prefer sleek and modern (for that, stay at the Holiday Inn, just down the road, for more money). One side of the king bed doesn't have any USB ports, and the outlet is hard to get to. Pillows were all the same, and all of them were too thick for me. I like it better when some of the pillows on the bed are thinner, some thicker. Only one hook in the bathroom, with two stubby prongs, so not enough room to hang up clothes, and the clothes fall to the bathroom floor too easily. Too much space between the bottom of the door to the hallway, and the room, such that one can easily hear other people's TVs when in the hallway, and the room wasn't blacked out from light until I put a towel on the floor to block the hallway light. The omelette station isn't open the entire time breakfast is served. The hash browns are horrible as they are nothing more than microwaved frozen potato shreds; completely off-white, with no browning at all- as pale and unappealing as defrosted potatoes can be. The breakfast room is a little cramped. There is under-used outdoor seating to the right of the bussing station.
We loved this hotel. The room was nice but the breakfast was great! They served omelets, you choose the ingredients and a very nice person prepared them. There was also waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and potatoes. Cereals, fruit, yogurt, all the regular things. The location is perfect for wine tasting. We have stayed at this BW Plus twice. I would highly recommend this property.
This is one of the good ones. The staff is exceptional, rooms are clean and the breakfast has everything, omelets ,oatmeal, waffles, eggs and potatoes.cereal for kids with sweet tooth. they have food places all around for dinner. They even have semi parking for the truckers. Easy on off freeway access.
This was an overnight stay on our way from Nampa, ID to Shelton, WA. I picked it because of the proximity to wine tasting venues. We walked the 0.7 of a mile to the cluster of venues after check in. The hotel itself is in two buildings right on Merlot Drive. Easy to find from the freeway or coming across Horse Heaven Hills. The staff were friendly and helpful both at check in and at check out. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious, we had a regular king. The extra chair was a small recliner, a nice touch I thought. The room did lack sufficient regular coffee packs for two people, but we were furnished with more when we asked. I upgraded the overall rating from "very good" to "excellent" based on their full breakfast. There were made to order omelets as well as the usual scrambled eggs. There was also Greek yogurt which is what my husband prefers. We will most likely stay here again when on our way to the Washington coast.
This was well located if you want to go wine tasting in the area. Many wine tasting rooms are within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised when we woke up and found out we could have personal hand made omelets for breakfast!
We SO enjoyed our stay! The property is immaculate! The front desk staff was among the friendliest we have experienced anywhere, plus efficient and helpful. A chef prepared omelettes to order! And other breakfast items included a great variety! Parking is plentiful and easy to navigate (no so at many other properties), and the guest laundry had quality machines at a fair price, $1 per load. We recommend this motel in the highest way possible.
We stayed 4 nights at the Best Western Plus in Prosser last week. It was great! Everything about our stay was great. The staff is super friendly & accommodating! It's within walking distance to several wineries! We had the outdoor pool to ourselves most of the time. This was our 7th year staying there & we be going back again next summer for sure!
We stayed here for a wedding and loved it! The hotel was clean and comfortable, the employees were friendly, and we loved that they had an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool to cool down from the heat. Breakfast was good, including homemade omelets, and we enjoyed it out on the patio. We will definitely be back!
Clean is my number one priority and the room was definitely clean. When I made my reservation I was given the choice of a queen or king for the same price, which was very reasonable. The property is well-maintained and the grounds were nicely landscaped and groomed. There are nice features, pools in and outside for example. I'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
The hotel is rather typical. Nice grassy area for your pet. We stayed here on a wine country visit. Fast food nearby but we went a few miles away to a restaurant. Hotel is fine, pool, patio, standard rooms.
My only complaint was the kitchen staff and the front desk person were busy BSing in the kitchen I finally left without the advertised hand made omelet and had to request the front desk guy to come out of the kitchen long enough to check me out.
After a long day on the road, we stumbled upon this lovely oasis in Prosser. Alex checked us into the perfect room and made sure our special needs were met. Everything you need is close by. Rooms are clean and nice. Staff is great. Will definitely stay here again.
Everything was clean, supplies were in our room, everything worked when needed. Professional staff who were friendly and well versed in their duties and surroundings. The morning breakfast was the very good and fresh! We left with a very pleasant impression and will definitely stay there when in the area in the future. Our thanks to the staff and management for a wonderful stay at The Inn at Horse Heaven !
Prosser is known for their many orchards, wineries, as well as fun community events like the weekly Farmers Market, the Scottish Festival, Fly-In, Balloon Rally, Wine and Good Fair and Harvest Festivals. There is something going on for the family almost every werk. Scheduling a room at The Horse Heaven Inn in Prosser allows you a great night stay in a central location for you and your family.
This hotel has multiple buildings. We were in a separate building from the main office. Room was quiet, but elevator was really slow. We used the stairs often. The main door to enter the building was a double entry door. Somewhat of a pain when using cart with all of your luggage. Check in was pretty painless. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. The absolute best part of our stay was breakfast. They had a chef ready to make fresh omelets with lots of fixings. Fresh made breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, and ham. I would definitely stay here again.
Six of us stayed here to do wine tours and it couldn't have been more perfect-quiet and clean! The best part was our server, Maria, making us omelets to order every morning. It is one of the best breakfast in a hotel that we have ever had...we will be back again to stay. Great location for wineries!
Can't think there is a better place to stay in Prosser. Close to several wineries and tasting rooms. The accommodations and amenities are great. Swimming pool and hot tub indoors, swimming pool outside. Sauna and workout room. But the best is the complimentary breakfast, which includes a made to order omelet and many other breakfast selections. They also serve complimentary soup from 5:00 to 10:00! What other hotel chain does that?!? Plus the front desk people are first rate, so accommodating and there to make sure you enjoy your syptay. This place deserves 5 stars in my opinion for convenience, cleanliness, amenities and location!
My wife and I always enjoy visiting Prosser, WA and this Best Western,. helps add fun to our getaway, Omelets made to order and a large variety of breakfast items. Large indoor pool and hot tub make for a relaxing evening. Just what you want and expect from a quality hotel.
Clean and quiet hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was awesome! Will stay next time. Parking was easy, check in and out was easy. It has a pool and sauna which I could not use because I arrived late.
This was a comfortable and very good place to stay, with staff who seem to truly enjoy their clientele. The breakfast was excellent, with all the normal food found in a good hotel, plus special order omelets available.
We were checked in by Lance, who was full of helpful information and suggestions about the area. Every employee we encountered was so pleasant and seemed to enjoy their part in welcoming us! Room was immaculate and well furnished with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful, with made-to-order omelets and many other delicious options. I highly recommend this motel as a home base for touring this area of our state!
We, as a group of three, met another couple at this Best Western and stayed for two nights. Our reservations were in order and we were greeted at the reseption desk with smiles and a very friendly welcome. Our original reservations were on the second floor, with the other two rooms on the ground floor. The desk staff made the necessary adjustments so that we could all be on the first floor and near each other and that was done quickly and without any problem. The rooms were large, clean and pleasant and the beds were very comfortable. The amenities and facilities were excellent and the staff was always helpful. The complimentary breakfast included an omlette bar with made to order omlettes, as well as sausages, eggs, waffles, pastries, oatment, cold cereal, juices, etc. It was really more than we expected and very much appreciated. We all agreed that this was a great choice and we'll definitely stay here again when we're in the area.
Very clean hotel. My room smelled fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the night manager Shawn did an excellent job preparing the food. Lauren helped with the breakfast area and both made sure I had what I needed. I was helped by Chris on my check-in and he made sure I had everything I needed. Very friendly and welcoming hotel.
This hotel is right next to the interstate but we didn't hear anything inside out room. The grounds are spotless. The ceilings are high. The space is good for 3-4 people. Close to the wineries for sampling
I would recommend staying here! Friendly staff, very clean. Great starting location for wine tasting. Lots of choices within walking distance. Pool and hot tub were clean. The breakfast is delicious, they have a new omelet station, all the food is good, great choices. Very clean facility.
From check-in to checking out, we had an excellent experience at this hotel. The friendly staff, clean, quiet, comfortable room and delicious breakfast made me wish we could have stayed another day! Easy access from the highway made this a perfect stop for a couple of Snowbirds heading home from Arizona to Canada. We will definitely plan our future trips so we can stay at this Best Western.
The staff were very accommodating from check in, breakfast, and check out. Very clean hotel, internet worked perfectly, staff treated me like family. I am very impressed and plan on staying at Best Western Plus, Inn at Horse Heaven Everytime I make it to Prosser!
I can't say enough about this hotel! Our stay was amazing! Very clean, all the amenities you can ask for. Comfortable beds, shower had great pressure, even the decor of the rooms were warm and welcoming. We used the pool and jacuzzi and it was nice to have that option for a late night swim. And I've never had such an assortment of breakfast options, and by the way that was included! It had omelet bar, waffles, muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuit and gravy, hash browns, yogurt and much more. Great location, right off the highway and close to wine tasting, restaurants, and a darling boutique. And if you get a chance to meet the General Manager who seems to always be available, he and his family are charming. We would definitely come back!
Close to vineyards for wine tasting and food,Chucker cheery just down the street.Hotel has all the emend ties, great breakfast and close toYakima and Tri Cities.weather is excellent 360 days out of 365.
The Inn at Horse Heaven has become our home away from home. The location is convenient, the amenities are great (hot breakfast, daily newspaper, free internet, etc) and the friendliest employees work there!
Clean, comfortable facility and a friendly, professional staff. Good location for wine tasting and all the amentities you need. Very nice breakfast spread and a good value. What more could you ask for ?
Their staff is so Friendly, clean hotel from the inside out. What an amazing breakfast and they also serve an evening soup! Great location, just minutes away from tasting rooms and wineries. No other place I would even think about staying when in Eastern Washington
I was quoted a price, which I paid over the phone. When I arrived (late in the evening) they told me the price they quoted me was wrong and I needed to pay more money. I would think the original quote would be good enough with the confirmation, however, upon speaking with three different employees, I was still charged an additional fee. I won't stay here again if they can just up their price upon arrival.
I'm currently in a room at horse heaven inn, in Prosser WA. This is my third night staying here. I would like to say we had no issues the first two nights. When I got to my room this evening it smelled like a sewer. I immediately went to the front desk and asked them to come to the room. They also smelled the smell and stated they were going to talk to management. They came back with drain fluid and febreze so I let them spray and asked if we could be moved to another room. They informed me there were any available. So the general manager came in and started investigating the smell after the room had been febrezed and said he "didn't smell anything, not even the febreze." And that "it smelled fresh in here." He offered to spray more febreze and I informed him he could not because my boyfriend gets migraines from perfume smells. So he started to question me in regards to why I let them spray in the first place and I told him it smelled so bad we needed something. I got so irritated with him basically denying any smell. His reply was, "it sounds like you just want me to come your night." I never once asked for a refund. I would imagine they have at least one emergency room available in case of a last minute issue. I told him it was fine and asked what his position was here and who his boss is. He stated he was the general manager and would not give me any information that i had asked for. He was very argumentative. He basically then accused us of having something in the room that caused a smell. Got down on the floor and touched the carpet and kept reminding us he couldn't smell anything and he was trying to solve the issues my calling the city of Prosser to see if there are sewer issues or walk the parameter of the hotel. I then got irritated that I had to ask him to leave my room three times. He then replied with "Now you're threatening me." I told him there was no threat I simply asked him to leave my room. He continued to try to argue with me so I had to ask him a fourth time before he finally turned around to leave. I am extremely upset that I'm sitting in a room that smells like this, have the window open when it's cold outside, and had to deal with someone who clearly doesn't have any professional skills.
My new house is being painted, so a lot of fumes. I stayed here to get away from it and wanted to say what a great, relaxing, quiet room I had with wonderful people who checked me in. Thank you so much Jennifer at the front desk, Roxana, and Melinda. The room I had was extremely clean and faced the freeway, but was so quiet I heard nothing all night. Again, a lovely stay. Thank you.
We spent 4 months in this hotel while in the area for work. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We sleep during the day and work nights. The room was very quiet for us to sleep and very comfortable. It is walking distance to many places to eat. The hotel has many great amenities including a full breakfast and soup at night. Indoor and outdoor pool and hot tubs for year round relaxing. We travel with pets and there was plenty of green space to walk the dogs in the area. Bags and dumpster were provided for dog waste. During the time we were here the staff became like family for us. They were more than willing to accommodate any need. We would love to visit this place again next time we are in the area.
This is a nice Hotel, located among many beautiful Wineries. The staff is exceptionally friendly & helpful. Comfortable beds, but carpet could be cleaned more often. Excellent complete breakfast. The only negative is that part of the Hotel does not have an elevator to the second floor. So be sure to check if this is a problem.
We met family at the Best Western Inn to enjoy some of the wonderful wineries in Prosser. Our stay was wonderful. Nice clean rooms, comfy beds and helpful staff. The hotel was in close proximity of tasting rooms of many of the wineries
I drove 6 hrs prior to arrival and they let me in early to freshen up for my 60th reunion.I would recommend this hotel. They go out of their to satisfy your needs. I forgot my phone charger and they supplied one for us to use.
A decent run-of-the-mill motel, easy to find, and close to restaurants and shopping. Price was reasonable fo two Queen beds and an excellent included full breakfast, and nice breakfast area. It is not set up for anyone with impaired physical activity. Toilet only 12 inches from floor and no safety bars for the bath, and the beds, though comfortable had no extra blankets.
When I checked in the place was very nice. I checked in around 7 pm but found that they had hot soup there for everyone. It was great. The room was very nice and so was the morning breakfast. The only problem was the night I checked it around 8:30 pm, someone else also was assign to my room. Mess up at the front desk. Lucky my door was locked or they would have gotten a big supprised.
Our stay at the Horse Heaven was perfect. The staff was helpful and attentive, the room felt nurturing and the amenities were more that we expected (2 pools!). This is the only place to stay in Prosser
This was the best nights sleep I've gotten in a hotel. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Kids loved the indoor pool. and the breakfast was Great! Lots to choose from, and staff made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here the next time we're driving through
This BW is really the top notch and it was so peaceful and quiet and super clean and I am a loyal BW guest. We were there for a wedding and there were 12 of us eating breakfast in the lounge area and the wait staff bused our tables and asked if we needed anything else. The staff was genuinely attentive and we will stay again soon
We had a three night stay, over labor day weekend, to enjoy the local winery tasting rooms. The staff were all friendly. Our room was in building B on the second floor. The room was clean and in great condition. The shower had great water pressure and they provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They have a usb charging station with 3 ports and plenty of accessible electric outlets. The breakfast was better than most and there was a nice variety of food available. The hotel also provided free soup in the evening! If you are visiting Prosser for the wineries, this is a great starting location and within walking distance of 8 tasting rooms. I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, fresh, and quiet! Plenty of paved parking. Close walking distance to wine tasting locations, but about one mile if you want to walk to town. Indoor pool. Staff was very friendly but failed to provide side-by-side rooms as requested when the reservation was made and followed up with a phone call the day before arrival; plenty of excuses.
I had a room with two queens beds (beds were fulls not queens), but were comfortable. I fit, but my husband said he was too tall for these beds. Other than that it was nice and clean and a great place to stay for an overnight.
I've stayed here twice and both times I was impressed with the friendly staff, clean rooms and nice grounds.. Pets are allowed which my dog thinks is wonderful and so do I. I left my water bottle on my last visit and they retrieved it for me when I went back. I really appreciated that.
We had a room on Friday night 8/24 (King bed). Booked the room a little over a week in advance on-line at the hotel web site. Didn't book with Military discount and not sure if there is even an option for that. Asked about a Military discount when checking in and were told that they don't do that on weekends. Otherwise, this is a pretty nice place to stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was your standard for most hotels that include continental breakfast (mediocre eggs, cold sausage, dry potatoes). I intended to have a waffle, but the mix was so thick it wouldn't come out of the dispenser. I will look at other places to stay on my next visit to Prosser.
Very clean, great location, priced well. I stay here 2 to 3 times a year for work. Very clean breakfast area with quality food and great service to top it off. Room are well kept with fresh towels everyday. No smells or odors any anything like that. AC unit works great and room stays cool. Bathroom is very clean and room is overall very nice for the price.
We often stay at this property. Location is the best for walking to several wineries and a few restaurants. This works well when we are on motorcycle and want to park bike once we arrive. Outside pool and hot tub are quiet and private.
Absolutely the best stay. Clean & spacious rooms. Staff were amazing. Always ready & willing to help. Good breakfast. Lots to choose from. Pools inside & outside. Hot tub the best! Walking distance to wineries if you are into that sort of thing??
The staff were very engaged and welcoming. Comfortable bed and clean room. That is all we needed for an overnight. Some of the rooms face the freeway so staff were good about finding us a room facing the opposite direction. Both an indoor and outdoor pool, too. We did not use the breakfast facilities available with room purchase so we cannot rate that.
Upon arrival we were treated very well. We got to the hotel early after a long trip and wondered if we could have access to our room. The front desk staff was accomadating and said they had a room available. The room was quite up to the standards of your chain. Clean and well presented. We used the photo of the wild horses in your lobby as a background for a nice photo. At check out, we told the clerk how much we enjoyed our stay. She was happy to hear that. Yes there is traffic noise, but not unbearable. The hotel was close enough to the wineries that Prosser is known for. I would recommend this hotel.
My New Favorite...awesome Truck Driver Rates, plenty of Truck / Trailer Parking, nice relaxing environment, surprisingly roomy rooms, and great location are all reasons I'd stay here again and again and again... AREA RESTAURANTS Not So Great??
Great place for a base for the all the numerous wine tasting places in the area. A central location and walking distance to the Vintners Village. We stayed in a room in the northern building away from the office, so no wi-if.
Right off the interstate, has availability when Tri-Cities are full. Room was large, comfortable and a better value than in RIchland. Breakfast included meats to fruits with nice variety. Parking was a little scarce.
Best Western Plus was quiet, clean, and had very nice staff. The breakfast in the morning and chili in the afternoon was very delicious! A great place to stay by yourself, or with family. The views from the hotel are also gorgeous. Thanks Best Western!
What a friendly hotel! The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful visit to wine country. The hotel is very clean and is located near restaurants and wine tasting. We look forward to our next stay at the Best Western.
Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Great location in the heart of wine country. This was my second stay at the hotel, and the staff remembered us from last time! Walking distance to quite a few tasting rooms. I highly recommend it!
If you are wine tasting in this area this place is great. Walkable to multiple wineries and food spots . Close to highway. Great breakfast (with fresh avocado!) and soup happy hour! But most importantly the staff was fantastic! Great bet if you are looking in the area .
The location is easy to access the Freeway, Downtown and local wineries. Part of the building does not have an elevator access, so make sure you request that option if dragging suitcases and bags up the stairs is not acceptable. The fridge is generously sized for a
Location was good for the wine tasting event. Close to freeway, gas food and Starbucks. Staff very friendly. Place was clean.Beds were extremely firm and AC very loud. Breakfast was typical for a continental.
The staff was very friendly, even letting me check in earlier than the stated check in time. Checkout staff very nice as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered in the morning was very good. It was nice not having to go somewhere to have a nice breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there very much.
General Manager goes out of his way to greet every guest at breakfast. He remembered my name from checkout the night before. As well, he gave me a charger when I mentioned I had left mine in a different city.
We stayed for one night. Due to a walking impediment, we had booked and received a mobility room with a walk-in shower - room 101. Regretfully, the bed in this room is located on the same wall - back to back - with the hotel laundry room. I tolerated the subsequent start/stop of the dryer - every 2-3 minutes - for the entire evening. The noise is truly intolerable - I suggest the GM and/or Owner spend a night with this machine running, while they try to sleep. At 10:30pm I got dressed, and advised the desk clerk on duty that it was intolerable, and had to stop. While the clerk offered to move us (my husband, with hearing aids removed, was fast asleep by this time), I insisted that was unworkable. The noise continued until appr
Great Hospitality, Cleanliness and a Wonderful and friendly staff that makes you feel at home??Delicious and fresh breakfast better than Denny's ??????!! I'd like to say a special THANK YOU Alejandra Lua for your sweet and caring attitude towards our family and our “inconvenience “ and our needs You are Awesome Alex ??????!!we now know that it was meant for us to stop by your place to get to know you and this Great Hotel “The Inn at Horse Heaven” we'll definitely stop by at another time and hopefully under other circumstances ????God Bless you all guys more Abundantly!!We strongly recommend this place ??????????
This has been one of the best motels we have stayed in. Great service. The employees are friendly and helpful The room was clean and had a refridge and microwave also. Breakfast in the morning was good and the coffee was hot. This is our favorite spot to stay in wine country.
I've come to Prosser to visit family many times, and will always stay at Best Western Plus The Inn at Horse Heaven. It's is a fantastic, comfortable, clean place to regroup. Even though new hotels are popping up, this is my go-to place in Prosser.
I'm not one to typically write reviews but I feel strongly that this needs to be known by upper management and potential customers. Firstly, when booking our reservation I SPECIFICALLY asked if we could have a late checkout, between 1230-1245 and was told that is absolutely okay, just NO later then 1pm ... I made sure to verify this before booking the reservation as it was imperative that wherever we stayed we would be able to check out a little late due to some personal family matters that we had to attend to Sunday morning before leaving prosser. You would think for 170+ dollars for one night that that would be okay (as we were told it would be). We found out this morning at breakfast by the assistant manager that we absolutely could not check out any later then 12 and their was no notation on our account that the booking agent okayed it for us. We were told by the asst. Manager that "we've been having problems with her and will talk to her" (referring to the gal who booked us and told us it was okay to checkout late). How would I as the customer know she didn't have the authority to let us check out late?? We would have chosen a different hotel had we known it would be a problem. Secondly, we took our daughter to the pool last night and the fly/gnat problem was so bad we couldn't enjoy it without being swarmed by flies and couldn't even go into the hot tub because their were probably 100-200 dead gnats floating in the hot tub. I actually went and got the front desk agent to show her how horrible it was. She seemed as appalled as I was. Thirdly, upon pulling out the hide a bed in our suite, we discovered an open (and used im assuming) material that I can't write in this review. Yes a _______ was folded up in the crevice of the hide a bed. I had to have my husband remove it before my 6 year old daughter saw it!!! No words to describe finding something like that where your child is getting ready to sleep. In our king bed the sheets had a few small red u know what stains on them in the middle of the fitted sheet. I have pictures!!! Lastly, their was a party going on in a public meeting room down the hall from our room last night (which is fine) that had no care in the world for how they acted ....about 6-7 kids were playing in the hallway outside the room and it was so incredibly loud we had to call the front desk and ask for a fan of some sort to block out the noise. I'm so appalled at this whole experience I have sent an email to best western corporate and best western HORSE heaven inn and haven't gotten a reply from either. I'm glad to know they could care less about customer problems.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Prosser WA for two nights. The hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly. Although we have no complaints, it is pretty clear that the hotel needs to be updated. They offered breakfast which we took advantage of. I noticed the hot food was not really hot, but more warm, so we made waffles. The hotel is split into two separate buildings. Our room was in the building that I did not see any services, we had to walk across the lot to the main hotel for breakfast. They also had a pool, although we did not use it. No real complaints at all, the decor of the hotel was very nice and played off the Horse Haven area of Prosser. All in all, it was fine and stay again if we return.
Typically I am hesitating to stay a motels, but found that this would be my nicest bet in the town of Prosser. The price was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and caring. The hotel is nicely appointed and shows careful attention to detail. The room was clean and spacious. Walking distance to several of Prosser's wineries and a close drive to downtown. Breakfast was great. There were several choices. Coffee was fresh and hot.
My Mom passed and we stayed at this wonderful place. The staff was very compassionate and professional. The room was clean and well maintained. The grounds were groomed and taken care of. Thank you all for a great stay under the circumstances.
Booked this room early for the Balloon event. Breakfast was very good, although they need more seating for the large crowd the event draws. Room was very clean, and upgraded nicely. Staff was awesome. They even called me when I left an item in my room and mailed it to me.
This hotel is clean, quiet, and in a great location for traveling on I-82 and wine country in general. Staff are professional and friendly, and genuinely care about the service provided to guests. This is now my go-to hotel in this area.
Very nice hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again! Location is very convenient right by the freeway and several restraunts within walking distance. Loved the fitness room and sauna!
This hotel is very close to the wine village and downtown Prosser. For convenience it cannot be beat. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The staff was really helpful. We had a large group of family and friends in town for a wedding and all of us were treated well.
Very nice clean room great staff incredible morning breakfast I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Sidewalks were all clear from Ice lobby with clean coffee pots were always full gave you a warm safe feeling place to stay thank you
My family and I stay here a couple times per year. We've always found the staff to be helpful and friendly, the decor is nice, the rooms are clean, and the location is convenient. I definitely recommend this hotel.
What a wonderful stay, the staff was excellent, friendly, & accommodating. I recommend anyone starting in Prosser to stay here. The rooms/ common areas were very clean. It is very apparent the staff care about the guests and the hotel.
We would definitely stay here again!!!! Rooms are clean, staff is helpful, breakfast was good, pool was clean. Great location close to most everything in prosser. We had a wonderful time and will be booking our next trip very soon staying here again FOR SURE!
The staff were very friendly and very quick to respond to request! Well located to visit local wineries. The buildings are very secure. The breakfast was well done with a large menu. I would make this my Inn of choice for the eastern Washington area.
Everything was clean and the staff was top notch. Should I ever be going back to Prosser, I would be happy to stay again. What a great night's sleep! Thanks so much for making this a quality stay for my two nights.
This place really is at the heart of the Prosser Wine Country. Great value and every employee happy to be at work. Our hats are off to Lance the General Manager. He exemplifies customer service and hospitality. This is our second stay at this hotel. We will be back.
The entire staff was great and helpful for our party of 12 over the weekend. We needed some help with some places around town to eat and visit, and the suggestions that were made were great. Rooms were very clean and promptly serviced each morning, the food provided was good, warm, and had plenty of options for everyone's taste. Entire facility is well maintained. Would recommend to anyone and will be back again for sure.
We went to Prosser on a wine tasting trip with a group of friends. The hotel was very convenient to many wineries and restaurants and was extremely clean with all the amenities you would expect. The manager, Lance was personable and very helpful and always about in the common areas checking to be sure all was going well and we had what we needed. The continental breakfast far exceeded my expectations of the usual muffin, cold cereal and some apples with many hot and fresh options like scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, a make your own pancake or waffle option and more. I would highly recommend this hotel and we plan to stay there again next time we are in Prosser.
We were here for Lemtober Fest at the Walter Clore Center. They are conveniently located not far from the Center and very close to many of the wineries tasting rooms. This was a very clean and well furnished hotel. They offer a large breakfast selection each more, which is included in the room rate. Our bed was super comfortable and they have a good wifi connection. The staff is very warm and welcoming. We highly recommend this hotel.
Overall a pleasant stay. No issues really at all. I will call them for the e mail receipt I was told I would get. No big deal. I did check to see if they had my correct e mail address, and it was correct.
We stay here every year with a group of friends. We love the warm staff and friendly service. We had to check in late (due to traffic) and the front desk went out of their way and baked us some fresh cookies! We love that the hangings on the walls are all words with spiritual value. Great place to relax and unwind.
The bed was great - slept all night long! The staff was helpful and friendly. Pool area clean and safe, The breakfast had a good array of foods ....something for everyone! Great way to start the day!Easy access off Interstate!
Rooms are Spread out in several buildings, which does not make for ease of common area use. Dining room for breakfast is much too small for the number of rooms - we gave up on the noisy crowds and went elsewhere to eat. We found the motel overpriced for the quality, and highway noise did not make for a quiet night. Also, when we asked about a king bed instead of 2 queens, we were told the rate was less, but when we checked out we were charged $10 more, not less... Prosser really needs some nicer options for lodging and food to support the growing wine area.
The staff was friendly from the get go and were very helpful. The rooms were cozy and clean. Morning breakfast was hot and a varied selection. There is a good selection of restaurants near by. I would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommended. I have stayed here before and routed my business trip to stay here again. The facility is well kept and conveniently located. They have a small prayer chapel in the back lot that is open to guests and truckers passing through. The breakfast was good but more impressive was that they had extensive gluten free options for my wife that has allergies. This is uncommon in hotels.
This is a great place to stay in Prosser, WA when visiting wine country. Perfect location! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great, filling us up before hitting the wineries! Very friendly staff.
Love to stay here on our visit to the Wine Country! We enjoy the convenience and location of the Best Western Inn at Horse Heaven. Nice people and great comfort! Easy access to all local events and beautiful surroundings in the area.
Good price bed wasn't the most comfortable but the pillows were good. Refrigerator wasn't cleaned but he rest of the room was clean and everything worked. The air-conditioning worked great and the continental breakfast was good.
This Best Western is conveniently close to many top wineries and tasting rooms, is modern, clean, and spacious. A group of five friends on a wine tour stayed here and were happy with the rooms, facilities and the breakfast.
The room was very clean and the staff was very help full The only issue I have is the toilet upstairs was very load when it was being flushed. The TV could have been in a more central area because you could not watch TV from the bedroom area
My stay here was perfect in every way. The room was great, the staff was great, and the breakfast was great. It was the first motel I have stayed in for a while that I didn't have to wander around the room to find the Wifi.
Great place to stay Easy freeway access. Near wine tasting room. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Indoor and outdoor pools. Outside sitting areas and nice lobby Breakfast has something for everyone from scrambled eggs to waffles. Nice selection of restaurants in the area.
Wonderful, accommodating, inviting. Close to numerous wine tasting restaurants. Easy on / off. Great place to stay going to/from Seattle. Staff kind and helpful. Loads of parking - great for larger vehicles.
This BW needs some improvements. 1. When you enter the building you don' know to turn left or right as there are no signs showing room numbers with arrows. 2. The toilets are not standard height and very hard to rise from.
I grew up in this area 50+ years ago and this was my first trip back. Wow! To find such a nice place in "little old Prosser" was a treat. The wine country surrounding the area is great for touring and tasting, and the hotel was a great base to work from. Plus, free corkscrews at the check-in desk! Very friendly staff, clean modern rooms, plenty of parking, dining choices within walking distance. All just about perfect, and at a reasonable price. I hope I'll be back one day.
I usually drive through but it pay off to spent the night down there, super nice service, place, room, breakfast and in general so positive, one of the best in the USA and Canada Places to eat,the settings were excellent
Nice rooms, clean, good breakfast, good shower water pressure, nice staff, reasonable price. We came as part of a group and the hotel allowed us to use their conference room. It has a nice area to stage the food for serving and was clean.
Clean, comfortable hotel with good breakfast, comfortable beds, and helpful staff. We stay there whenever we are visiting family in the area. Always had a good experience. The owners seem to take pride in providing a good experience for their guests.
Convenient location just off the highway - close to some excellent wineries. Walking distance to a Starbucks and the quaint Prosser downtown. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. We had a double bed room and the amount of space was very generous.
found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The Staff was friendly and helpful. We rented a suite and it was very nice, loved the layout. Our puppies (12 year olds) were welcome, but did have to pay an extra $10 each. Looking forward to staying here again.
This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel and we loved it just as much as the 1st time. The remodel was nice to see. The linens and bath items are very nice. The breakfast was tasty. The employees were kind and helpful. There is a dog-friendly hotel building and a non-dog hotel building. We've stayed in both. We don't have a dog and we are glad they were separate buildings although we didn't see any dogs.
good quality for the dough. The breakfast was hot and a lot of variety. The staff made sure we didn't run out of comestibles. The patio area was open, but no one went out as it was cool. Smoke from fires may have been a factor as well.
For the most part our stay was fine. We always love the hot tub and it was unfortunate that it wouldn't work. Reported problem 3 times and felt like it was never addressed. Never saw an out of order sign and never got to enjoy it either.
Enjoyed our stay here. They are in the process of renovating this motel and some of the finishing were not complete but should soon be done. Clean and neat. The pool was wonderful. If I am ever in Prosser, WA again would certainly stay here again.
Got a very good rate at this hotel and wondered why. Turns out the section we were in was being renovated. The hall was ready for painting and the pool was closed for renovations. The room itself was fine. Breakfast was free but mediocre. There were no workers there to interrupt our sleep before we left at 9:30. Bed was very comfortable.
the staff was helpful and caring. We had car problems and were broke down for the day. The motel was in the final stages of either remodel or finishing being built. Very nice! the breakfast was the usual fair but hot and good.
This was our first time to stay at the Best Western Plus The Inn at Horse Heaven. As expected, our room was comfortable, very clean & quiet!! Portions of the facility are currently being refurbished, but the work did not interfere with the enjoyment of our stay. This is a great location for visitors who want to explore the many wineries of the Prosser, WA area.
Great place , being remodeled at this time nice an quite rooms An comfortable. Several types of rooms , even a hot tub room. In door pool, polite an awesome stafff. Make ya feel at home. Awesome breakfast as always with Best Western. My first choice when traveling.
It was hard to really judge the hotel as they are doing some remodeling, so can't tell what it will look like when done. The room was as expected and the breakfast the typical fare. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. We were a large group (about 73) with many showing up in large numbers at once. They handled the onslaught very well.
I hate complaining, but the room I was given was right next to the guest laundry, the water rushing through the pipes in the walls was so loud I wasn't able to sleep the two nights I was there. The pillows are half the size of regular ones, so that didn't help for covering my ears well. The staff was average. Not friendly, but not rude. We were in a large group, so they had to work quickly to check us all in, that was nice. There was construction going on in the building too, a few people in my group said they had sawdust and sheetrock on their clothes and personal items.
Everything was clean along with the pool, staff and room. Tv, fridge and bathroom amenities all excellent. The only problems I had were the scent or odor of majiuana coming from the adjacent room for the last 2 night and not being offered the Best Western rewards sign up and the deals that would have came along with them.
Check for progress on remodel, we were not told of this and our room was in need of it, carpet wrinkled (as it needed re-stretched), and had a cut in it. We did find items in the room that indicated it had not been cleaned completely. Ground floor windows were very dirty. Looks to be able to be a pretty good hotel when remodel is down.
The staff made our stay very well pleasing. They always welcome you with a smile and answered all questions we had. The Maids left our room always cleaned and left our AC on where we left the dial. Made coming "home" from work that much enjoyable to us. Very glad we got to experience the excellence of the Hotel and Staff even during the construction that was going on.
Nice central location to go visit all the wineries. Plus there is a vintner's village right down the road that serves several different local wineries. Room was ok. A little worn, but comfortable and clean. They are in middle of a remodel so expect the rooms to be upgraded. The hotel personnel were great and helpful.
There were 40 of us arriving via bus on Friday night. We departed at 9:00 on Saturday morning. Even though the hotel had our reservations, they were not prepared for a large group at breakfast in addition to other travelers. Not enough of anything and only one server to help out.
New and unfinished buildings. Comfortable rooms, plenty of free parking, nice self service hot breakfast, near freeway on and off ramps, nearby gasoline stations, restaurants, medical clinic, and highway rest area. Locked bldg. B access doors during daylight hours was a nuisance for carrying luggage and other items into the bldg.
I was traveling for business in a nearby city and could not get a hotel room I was willing to stay at. I'm a government employee and have to stay at the government rate. This hotel was about 35 miles away. My room was a suite and had a full kitchen, living room, bedroom (separated by a half wall) and HUGE bathroom with a shower an separate jetted tub. They are in the process of a remodel, but the hotel was clean with easy access to the highway. There were several restaurants nearby. I was there for business, but the Hotel is in the heart of wine country, so if you are touring wineriers, I would highly recommend it.
In the process of a desperately needed remodel. Many parts of the hotel are under construction but it is still showing it's age and neglect. I had a remodeled room with old furnishings, the desk chair won't stay up and sinks to floor when seated. TV remote sensor had already fallen off the TV and had to fish it out from behind the dresser. Pool and hot tub in the main building looked aged. There are a few fast food and dine in restruants nearby, easy on and off the I-82 freeway. Plenty of room for large vehicle and trailer parking. Suitable for a quick business stay, not a destination stay yet. Pretty dirty and truck stop feel surroundings. Not pet friendly.
The rooms had a mix of new and older furniture and nothing was run down. The carpet was new and, combined with other renovations, we ended up with a couple sore throats, but that is not really a big deal. The rooms had nice tvs, lots of channels, nice large refrigerators, and most importantly, was very clean. The bedding could do with a lighter top sheet, but other than that no real complaints. The free buffet breakfast was good as well.
It was all pretty good. BIg renovation going on with new carpets laid, and pool maintenance. Didn't slow us down much because we weren't there for the pool (or carpet for that matter). Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate.
The staff was exceptional in accommodating us during our stay. The breakfast was excellent and the room comfortable. Good location for our visit to wineries, friends and family. Good value in a growing area of the state.
We always stay at the Best Western Plus when we go wine tasting in Prosser, WA. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable. They have washing machines for guests to use and the pools are clean and clear!
We visited Prosser WA with friends for a wine-tasting weekend and stayed at the Best Western Plus because it had the best reviews for local accommodations. The good news is - the hotel staff are nice. The bad news is - the "in your face" religious prayers / slogans posted on the walls and left on the in-room desk are highly inappropriate for a major hotel chain. In addition, the hotel is under renovation and the facility was sub-par in its current condition. This was absolutely not worth the $140/night charges.
Very comfortable and clean Best Western. They are remodeling so be aware of that, but it looks very nice. The rooms are spacious. We were given an ADA compliant room and it was extremely comfortable. Check in and check out took under 5 minutes each and the staff that handled that were very friendly and efficient. We'll stay here again when we are back in town.
This hotel is located right off the interstate, so it's easily accessible and there are a few restaurants and gas stations close by. Parking is plenty. They were under renovation for their lobby area but it didn't deter the quality of service or amenities. The room was good, we had problems operating the TV remote but it worked out. The hot tub is great and also has a pool. The breakfast was awesome with eggs, meat, biscuits/gravy, and waffles and all the other amenities for a full breakfast. It's a nice looking facility that is well kept. It's only 5 minutes from downtown which has many neat shops and eateries. We ate at Danny's Burger Ranch which is next to the local grocery store (you have to park in the grocery parking lot to go to the restaurant but well worth the price and food). The chowder is the best thing on the menu plus the ice cream, which it was great having Huckleberry ice cream. There is also a roller skating rink in town and a few coffee cafes. If you like boutiques there is a great one next the gas station just down the road from the hotel. It's high end women's items but they also have great gifts and delectable snacks. A great little town for the whole family.
All of the employees were very nice and accommodating but there were things that made this hotel not worth 135.00 a night. The sink in the bathroom drained very slowly. The bathroom door did not latch. The shower would not shut off all of the way so if you wanted to you could not have taken a bath without it spraying on you. There was no body wash in the shower. At breakfast many items were out and I could not find anyone to request more. I would expect better service for this kind of money in Prosser WA.
Consistently comfortable and quiet and conveniently located. This is our go to hotel in Prosser. Meeting rooms are available. Indoor and outdoor pools. Breakfast is available. Sunny, very large rooms let you spread out and relax. Wifi is consistently good
Disappointing stay, why we don't stay in motels, area is for wine no offers of where to go or free wine tasting options. We did not ask but did not feel staff welcomed conversation. Rv park is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area
the staff was great...but I wish I was informed about the construction work at booking....and who do you get rewards from best western the fact that i need to write 200 charctors iis just crazy and this is how i'm using the required space
A girlfriends getaway weekend and this BW was just right for our needs. We came for wine tasting and just to get a feel for what the area holds for future trips. I almost always choose BW+ as they tend to be a bit better than basic. Horse Heaven Inn did not disappoint. We will recommend and probably be back someday. Thanks for the nice, clean, comfortable room!
Since we have already stayed at the Best Western Grapevine Inn twice (and loved it) we decided to try this Best Western. This is a nice hotel, but not as nice as the Grapevine Inn. The room was nice, but much smaller. We travel with a 5 year old and a 2 year old, and they both have blow up beds. There wasn't a ton of room, but we made it work. There is an excellent Mexican Restaurant (although a bit spendy) across the street that my husband brought food back from. I wish this hotel had a couch and a coffee table so that the kids could have eaten on, but it didn't. This hotel didn't offer a light dinner like the other hotel does, but they do offer a spectacular breakfast. The lady who was working the area worked very diligently to make sure everything was stocked and clean. They had a breakfast sandwich station, which was pretty cool. The pool was very nice for the kids to use, and everything seemed pretty clean. I'm glad that we gave this property a try.
We enjoyed our visit here and liked the location as well as the services. The breakfast bar was very nicely presented and food was delicious. It saved us time for our busy day of local adventure! Will definitely stay here again. The room was clean and comfortable and parking was very convenient making for a safe environment for an out of town trip.
We love this hotel. Great location for wine touring. There are a number of wineries within walking distance. Close to the Red Mountain region too. Nice pool an hot tub. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. We have been staying here for many years, we always come back to this hotel.
Clean, convenient, good value with the usual pre-cooked breakfast. Very large facility with easy, quiet, convenient parking. Nothing extra special but sometime no "surprises" is a good thing. Except for one irritating issue: liquid soap dispensers in shower that are EMPTY! I told them about it when I checked out. They asked: did you notify us when you had that problem? Ans: No, there was no phone in the shower. Dumb question. Other than that, I found the staff very friendly.
I stay at The Inn at Horse Heaven about once a month when I'm in town visiting my mom. I've stayed in hotels and motels all over the country and this is one of my favorites. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is delicious. And the staff are gracious, helpful and very friendly. Something I appreciate is that they are always making improvements to the rooms and public spaces. The breakfast has been improved in the last two years (love the pancake machine!). They put in better cable a couple of years ago and recently put in new cabinetry to hold the TV, refrigerator and microwave. The place is spotless and the beds are comfortable. Love it! I highly recomment The Inn at Horse Heaven!
Time at the hotel was at a minimum but had a great time while there. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Hotel was very nice only negative was the ice machine in bldg 2 was broken and the conference room in that building seemed dated. Hotel was nice overall.
The hotel has changed to non smoking. The rooms that were allowed for smokers still reek of stale cigarette smoke. I was changed to a room that had not been used by smokers. Hot breakfast food does not get changed out when it is down to the last in the pan; breakfast was horrible.
Room was super clean and comfortable. No complaints there. Lots of religious quotes on walls and in room. I feel it's important to respect peoples religious beliefs, but I expect to not be proselytized to at a place of business, unless that business is a church. I'm sure the owners intentions are good, but it was really offensive to me. I will NOT recommend this place to my friends.
We were on a one-night wine trip to Red Mountain. This hotel was appropriately named and just 10 miles from the wine region, with plenty of wineries and tasting rooms of its own, which we explored the next day. The hotel rooms were comfy - both couples were traveling with a dog, and the dog-friendly rooms were just as clean and comfy as any other room. Loved the hot tub outside our building. Internet was fast and accessible for all of our devices (5 in one room), lol.
Definitely above average for a Best Western, and we really enjoyed our stay on a recent visit to Washington's wine country. Parking was plentiful, check in/out were easy, and the staff was very friendly. There are inspirational quotes scattered throughout the hotel which was a really nice touch. Our room was large and very clean. With only three lamps and dark carpet and walls the room seemed a little dark, but everything worked, the beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was very good, with a large breakfast area and both hot and cold options. I really appreciated that they started breakfast at 5am rather than the usual 6 or 7. I never got to use the pools (they have both indoor and outdoor) but I did enjoy the sauna. Even though our room was facing the freeway, I thought the noise was minimal. Definitely get a room away from the truck stop though. If you're in a connecting room, be aware that the connecting doors are very thin. Our neighbors were pretty quiet but we were still able to hear every word of their conversation. The location seemed safe enough. Prosser's a pretty small town, so if you're healthy and tired of driving, you can walk pretty much anywhere you need to go. Overall this was a fantastic hotel and I'd be glad to stay here again.
The hotel was great, comfortable, quiet, attractive, and centrally located. The service was great, staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive! However, the shower curtain in the bathroom was too short, causing the bathroom floor to be flooded...
Good location and nice breakfast room with good selection including ability to make a breakfast burrito and a big pot of oatmeal. Located close to several wine tasting rooms in Prosser. But check the pool before jumping in, a swarm of gnats filled the hot tub and pool which we did not notice at first because we went for a night swim. Other than that, was a great place to stay.
Our stay was good, it is a very nice hotel. I was mostly disappointed at the rate of $107 a night for a hotel in a very small town--which is a wine tasting destination--but not peak season. And I really struggled for hours to sign on to the internet before I finally called the front desk at 9:30 pm to find out I needed a password--the password should have been given to me upon sign in.
We spent 2 nights in this hotel while we were visiting Yakima Valley wineries. The rooms were spacious and well kept. A nice surprise was the breakfast they had. It was above the normal "hotel hot breakfast". The staff was friendly, answered all our questions and gave us "free tastings" coupons.
Simple small town perks. Nice breakfast, friendly vibes, rooms are very decent (especially compared to other hotels for similar prices in King County). It was just nicer than I expected. Modern rooms, nice amenities, close to all the other things in town..
A tale of two hotels. Check in staff very friendly, room very spacious and clean. On the other hand, the trucks running their generators next door starting at 4:30 a.m. made it difficult to sleep thereafter. And, the advertised breakfast? Don't bother. Watery oatmeal, cardboard waffles, frozen hard boiled eggs, powdered eggs, potatoes unrecognizable. Pick up a yogurt and banana instead and be done with it.
Aside from the freeway traffic noise, stay was very pleasant. Hotels are limited in this small town, so this one is probably your best bet, even though it is right next to the busy freeway. Bed was very comfy, and the breakfast was adequate.
We love the location, right by many of the winery tasting rooms. The staff was great and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The little town of Prosser is really cute and right in the middle of wine country. There are several winery tasting rooms within walking distance, ( Airfield and Thurston Wolfe to name a few), as well as some fast food options next to the hotel.
We stay here whenever we are in the area and we love it, no hassel, everything goes as it should the staff are very helpful and nice. We bring our pet and we have no problem with that. The breakfast needs to be upgraded as the eggs are grainy, and not very hot. We would reccomen this Hotel to anyone coming in the area for the Wineries, which they have many good ones. Just a short drive from the Hotel.
Great hotel and near wine tasting. We were in room 101 which was near the kitchen and housekeeping. Noise started at 4:55 am which woke me up and continued until after 6:15 am. We have stayed here other times and it was perfect. Just ask to stay away from the front desk!
Friendly staff, clean room and nice pools. Indoor and outdoor. Very accessible to the freeway. Felt safe walking from to the hotel at night from local restaurant. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff kept the breakfast area tidy.
Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet. The sleep quality and bed/pillow comfort was great. The pool and hot tub facilities were wonderful. The free breakfast was super good. Even had some option food options.
We recently spent a night at the Best Western Plus Inn at Horse Heaven and truly enjoyed our stay. It was very handy to the ten wineries we visited during our two day mini-vacation. The rooms were spotless and quiet. We did not hear any noise from the neighbors at all. The front desk personnel was courteous and friendly. The breakfast had ample selections; waffles, breads, oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, breakfast meats, fruit, and beverages. There is inside and outside patio seating and I was impressed with how quickly the staff replenished the food plus tidied up the serving area. The mattresses and pillows were just the right firmness and for the first time in several weeks we woke up refreshed and without neck or back aches. One feature that we especially appreciated was the décor; the inn was decorated with positive statements of faith. We will certainly stay here again!
The inn at horse heaven is a very nice place to stay. We stay there whenever we are in Prosser. We grew up in the area and it is nice to have a nice place to come to when we are visiting the area. Best Western is our go to hotels wherever we go somewhere. They have a free breakfast. Which is good.the staff are very friendly and do their job very well!. We will be staying there again in August.
I have not found such a well maintained and managed motel in this price range. Room included a hot self-serve breakfast. The room was very well maintained and clean. There were several HD channels on the television. Although close to the highway, noise was not a problem. Access to local wineries was excellent.
The room was clean and comfortable and the bed with the foam topper was outstanding. But the staff wasn't particularly friendly. The included breakfast was OK, but not great. And we felt the hotel was overpriced compared to similar hotels we stayed in at Yakima and Pendleton on this trip.
We've had the opportunity to stay at this hotel twice, seven months apart. The desk staff is friendly and accommodating. My husband was sad we arrived too late for cookies, so the desk clerk found him some packaged cookies. He was so excited! What fantastic customer service! The rooms are not fancy, but clean and comfortable. We will stay here again. Breakfast has more options than we've ever seen. Breakfast burritos was tasty.
Good motel to stay to visit the Prosser and surrounding area wine country. Comfortable, well appointed room. The only problem was the internet flat out did not work. We didn't care enough to report it.
Stayed here many times before. The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable and the staff is professional, friendly and helpful. This trip was similar except that we received a free night stay due to a very late arrival. This was a very pleasant surprise. I can always count on this BW for a great stay.
My boyfriend rented a room at this hotel so that I can come and see him he works for a construction crew normally he gets a discount he paid twice as much for this room to see me after a long hard day he comes in to take a shower and the shampoo Plus is filled with lemon scented dish soap as well as the shower gel. this is a dispensary they already have in the bathroom. I called and I complained because we couldn't even rinse it off. nothing was done !!! I was told the front desk would make a note of it and that the day manager would have applied a discount and that they were very sorry , but a discount was never applied I think if they're going to offer something to a guest that it actually be what they offer have shampoo and body gel in the shower not lemon scented Dollar Store dish soap !!! I work at a hotel if I treated a guest like this I would have been fired!!!
This hotel accommondations are of the best for the price that is charges. The rooms are very comfortable, nice size TV, a great bed, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. It is also close to wineries and good restaurants. We highly recommend The Inn at Horse Heaven in Prosser WA
We've been coming here for four years now to enjoy winery-hopping with RV friends. Their park is right across the street. The Inn is so accommodating. Check-in was a breeze. Only wish there was an elevator for when we had to heft our wine purchases to the room. We also heard complaints about the outdoor pool not being ready by Memorial Day week-end. But is was by Memorial Day. Beds were very comfortable. staff was always friendly. If Prosser is your destination, book at the Best Western!
My motorcycle battery was having issues. The manager of this hotel arranged for me to have an extension cord and parking space so I could plug in a charger. Saved me from a bad weekend. Great customer service. This hotel is very well maintained, clean, and everything in the room worked. It's quiet even though it is near the interstate. Breakfast was good and staff worked hard to keep it stocked and clean. Pool was nice and the hot tub was perfect. I would definitely stay here again when in Prosser.
Comfortable bed and room. Our toilet backed up daily. This establishment is pet friendly. Don't be surprised if you are awakened early in the a.m. by a barking dog. The staff shrugged it off. Their response is, "We're a pet friendly establishment." We stayed over Memorial Day weekend, and it was a crowded motel. If we got down to breakfast after 9:30 a.m. the sausage was all gone as well as most of the juices.
This is a good place to stay in a rather remote area of Washington. Rooms are clean, breakfast was very good and staff is friendly. Several wine tasting rooms are only a short walk away. Wine OClock is an excellent restaurant close by.
This was a way stop for us on travel home from an extended road trip through WA, OR, CA and NV. I have stayed in Prosser before and the area is most interesting. Sorry we weren't staying longer this time. The BW Motel was a welcome stop for us. Location was convenient and easy to find. The amenities were excellent and staff friendly.
We recently went to Prosser WA for wine tasting and found there are not many places to stay. So if you plan to go there my advise is to book early. That said the BW looked like one of the nicest motels there. It had nice accommodations; clean, comfortable, all the usual amenities plus an indoor pool and spa. The location is convenient and was quiet. The only drawback was that the breakfast was exactly the same all four mornings we were stayed but it was a complete hot breakfast so you could vary it some.
Well-positioned hotel in Prosser, handy to several WA wine AVAs. Easy to find, solid breakfast to set you up for the day. Good beds, quiet room, blackout curtains. All in all, a good experience and we would return here again.
The girls and I stay at this hotel every year for Spring Barrel. It has everything we need. Good price, location and service is always good. We will be back next year for the spring barrel so this will be the place we plan to stay again.
The hotel was okay, nothing special. We had what we needed for the most part except shampoo. The breakfast was good. The room was quiet. We had a good time. The shuttle taking us to the wineries from the RV park was most excellent and VERY helpful.
This was our favorite place we stayed during our visit in the northwest. The rooms were very accommodating, clean & quiet. We checked in late Sunday night with our service dog with the kindest front desk clerk. Kids enjoyed breakfast. Overall a wonderful experience. Thanks for making our stay great!
We stay at this particular motel often. We asked that we have a room in the main building, ground floor. Since we were using Best Western Rewards, was not sure we would receive what we requested. When we checked in they told us our request was honored. Loved the room with a real lounge chair. We slept longer than usual due to the comfort of the bed. Since we have stayed here numerous times we noted it appeared that many items we did not like in the past were updated. Cleaner everywhere and good customer service at the front desk.
Room was clean and fresh -- exactly as ordered -- corner room, high floor, double double. It's rare a hotel gives us everything requested on the reservation on the first attempt. Bravo! Breakfast was lovely. The cook takes special care to see that everything is cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. Presentation of food is wonderful. Great selection of food -- couldn't have been better! I love the long breakfast hours for sleeping in late: ends at 10:30. Bravo again! Hotel sits right on the freeway - some but not all rooms face the freeway. I loved hearing the subtle sound (it is not loud) of cars and trucks whizzing by -- great "white noise" all night long. If you are into wine tasting, this hotel is perfectly located to do a lot of wine tasting at nearby wineries. Fun! Staff was ultra-accommodating! There was a mixup on our date - but it was handled seamlessly. Probably was my error. . . Great beds. Ultra comfortable recliner. Room temp was constant (not always the case in hotels when there's a wall unit.)
Stayed here after a long 16 hour day of driving. Only king room available was a handicap room. That works as long as the bathroom is clean, free of mold and the shower works. We were too tired to complain but somebody needs to look at room 101 bathroom. It's dirty shower seams and leaking all over the place shower head are just not acceptable. Other than that- the bed worked!!
after a hard days work my company has chose best western horse heaven a place to rest there employees, to rest up for another 12 - 14 hr day. ive never have had a problem calling ahead for a room its always there.the motel is surrounded by several eating places within walking distance which is nice.
We were on our way to Richland WA and found this Best Western to have better prices than the hotels we were looking at in Richland. Being unfamiliar with Richland WA we didn't want to drive around looking for our hotel once we got there. This Best Western is conveniently located right off the highway, and is a short distance from Richland. The price and quality of this Best Western makes it a perfect choice! The rooms are comfortable and VERY clean! We will stay here again for sure!
The hotel makes a lot of effort to keep their place clean, the downside is that the hotel is very old feeling and lacks the more modern amenities at other hotels. A real mom and pop feel at this place.
This Hotel was just as clean as could be! Workout room was very nice! To cold for outdoor pool, but had a very nice and warm indoor pool and hot tub! No need to bring towels down to it, they have plenty. Slept great even though we were right next to a truck stop! We are over the road team trucker's and when we get a chance to get out of truck, we like it to be nice and clean and quiet! Never seen a Hot Breakfast like this! Yummy for sure!
Booked a king bed on a recent trip to Prosser. The room was nice. Unfortunately, the pillows on the bed were small and didn't have much to them. So what could have been a pleasant stay was overshadowed by a terrible night's sleep. When I book a king size bed, I expect decent size pillows. We complained but the clerk didn't appear to care much. This stay was not up to what we've come to expect at a Best Western hotel.
Very clean hotel, comfortable bed, all of the staff was very helpful. We were very impressed with the continental breakfast! We will definitely be back to stay again. Our only complaint was the refrigerator was very loud
Not a lot to say, good clean room, nice staff. Not a bad place to stay if your in the area. I stayed here for an extended period while looking for regular housing (took a job in the area). The staff was nice, the room was clean, I'm not a real fan of hotel living. But this was pretty good.
The Inn at Horse Heaven, Best Western PLUS, is new, clean, with a friendly and efficient staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Did not use them, but there was a nice pool and hot tub available, with sauna in adjacent building. The breakfast was well appointed. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!
Overall I had a very enjoyable stay. I especially enjoyed the hot breakfast service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. I was here on business and it was in close proximity to my meeting location.
We stay here pretty often to visit the wineries and it's conveniently located just down the street from a few of the wineries and tasting rooms. Starbucks is just down the street also. Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast - all the basics.
The hotel has been updated. The rooms are very well outfitted. The bed and linens are especially good. Wi-Fi worked well. Staff are pretty friendly and helpful. The breakfast, however, is awful. Bland and tasteless, obviously not prepared fresh. Just reheated and probably pre-packaged. The price is a bit on the high side.
This has got to be one of the most beautiful, and clean Best Westerns I have seen. The room is large and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is just that. They had sausage, scrambled eggs, muffins, waffles, and so much more. This has been a wonderful experience and the staff is exceptional. I do not think you will be disappointed staying here.
Very nice large room. Clean and comfortable with a nice desk to work at and a recliner. Our room had microwave and fridge. Check in was great. Pet friendly hotel which is a plus. Easy access with plenty of room to park our semi with a 53 ft trailer. Nice break from the road. Thank you!
We have never had a bad experience at a Best Western Hotel. This one was no exception. We were in town for a family wedding. We have stayed almost exclusively at Best Western hotels while traveling Europe, The U.S. and Canada in the last six years.
We spent a weekend here. It is within walking distance to the tasting rooms although some may find it too far. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding. They have biscuits & gravy, Belgium waffles and sausage along with your traditional complimentary items. We have already booked our next trip back!
one of the best places to stay, staff is great. I drive 45 miles out of my way to stay here. There are all kinds of food options here from fast food to restaurants . There is a coffee place down the street. Easy on off the freeway. This is really a good place stay, I drive for a living and have stayed in a lot of hotels and motels. This is by far one of the best in my book.
The hotel is located very conveniently to many wineries in the area, the Chukar Cherry tasting room, and be sure to stop in at Garcia's for great local Tex-Mex food in Grandview, just down the road! The room is quiet, nice bed, slept well, the breakfast was really nice, with take away fruit and breakfast sandwiches one morning, and a Starbucks right there that stays open until 8:30 pm! Nice for traveling! AND, it has an elevator, which is always a plus!
We come from Seattle at least 3 times a year to do wine tasting in the Yakima Valley. The Best Western at Horse Heaven Hills is the perfect place because its situated in the middle of the valley. Great for tasting both east and west of center. Its not luxury but its always clean and has a comfortable bed. We sleep on a tempurpedic at home and don't have a problem with this bed which has a nice pillowtop effect. We wake refreshed without stiffness. Overall a great place to stay!
We often stay at this Inn when visiting family in Prosser, and our experiences have always been positive. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service efficient. The rooms are well equipped with iron and ironing board, coffee and tea, refrigerator. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. It's real value for money.
Very clean and quiet. The air worked great, set the temperature and it was good to go all night. Breakfast was very good. Everything was well stocked and once you got up they cleaned the table right away. Parking was very easy and big spaces. Pool area was very clean. If you are looking to stay with family I would choose this hotel. Make sure you ask to stay in the main building so you will be close to the pool.
The Hotel was beautiful the rooms are Beautiful the bed was amazing and the Breakfast was great. I recommend this Hotel to anyone. everyone was polite and friendly. it was a great experience and I will use this Hotel in the future.
BW Inn at Horse Heaven in Prosser is a great base for exploring Washington's wine country. It's a quarter mile from a dozen tasting rooms, and Wine O'Clock, the best restaurant in the Columbia valley. Taste all you want, and you can walk back to your room!
This hotel was quiet and clean. Friendly staff. Good location near food and gas. There were only two things I think they could improve. The first is that the pool has a strong smell of chlorine that permeates part of the lobby and main hall. The second is that the room needs a makeup mirror in the bathroom.
I quit breakfast after 2 days , even fruit is not fresh in the middle of so many farms around , omelette from bottle ? I had a feeling I am not welcome there , front desk person (young girl) was very unprofessional Maybe wrong day , wrong place Who knows ??
Flies in the room, internet works very poorly, breakfast items were cold, coffee was cold, some breakfast items were still partially frozen. Staff was kind and caring. They helped with the problems. Pool was clean
Great breakfast with lots of choices. Th juccuzi hot tub was clean and water was not too hot. We had a very comfortable bed and quiet room. The hotel is easy to get to and close to the wine tasting. Room was nice and clean and the wifi worked great.
rooms were a little dated but clean, beds were soft. but staff was great, all of the amenities were working, complimentary breakfase was decent. Said they would add part of our party to a wait list, they were booked when they made reservations, and they managed the wait list very well.
Was very difficult to contact these people. Conformation number did not work. Charge card reader did not work @ check in. Paid cash. Room above ours in bldg B had A/C condenser dripping onto the enclosure on our A/C enclosure making a drumlike sound for about 2 hours. I finally made a pad out of paper to let drops fall quietly. When checking out I told the desk clerk about it and her response was "Oh yeah, we've had a few other complaints about that". Really? why don't you fix it? Room was clean but not worth $120.00 per night..
Comfortable beds, nice selection at breakfast, service was friendly, and clean rooms. I will stay here again. Close to wine tasting rooms where walking was an option. Right off the highway so easy to find but the room was quiet.
Very nice room with plenty of space to move around. Very clean room with extra bedding and many pillows, Nice Frig, TV, Coffee Maker. Lot's of items to choose from for Breakfast. Great friendly staff, Will look forward to returning.
Our room was to be a suite and we were put into an apartment. This was for us a lesser room and was falling apart. From a toilet that broke and was not fixed at 10am when we called (after a long we came back to a toilet that still was not fixed at 9pm so we called again and had to have someone come over to fix it ). To a room that smelled even with the windows open and a bathroom door that was rooting and kitchen cabinets that had trim falling off. Just so you know, you can do better for the money so do it. We will not stay here until upgrades are made.
What a handy place to stay when the wineries are your main focus for visiting Prosser, WA. There were four of us girls and one complete gentleman that kept us organized and on task which was wine tasting. The hotel was clean and very accessible to all things Prosser. The four of us stayed in one room in Building Two and our friend stayed upstairs in the main building. The room was very large - even for all of us! The shower had great pressure and the water closet was quite roomy. And, the separate vanity and mirror came in handy when we were getting ready in the morning. Breakfast was included in our stay and featured scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, a variety of breads, fruit, yogurt and cereal - not to mention coffee with many different creams to choose from. For the four of us, we paid $122 a night and thought it was a bargain ... more to spend on wine ;0)
This was an excellent Hotel, very clean & nice looking which made us relax more. We had a little dog & they didn't put us in another room for only pets which is usually dirty most places. We loved having a clean & well kept room, thank you.
Very friendly people, nice clean room. Close to the vineyards, restaurants. Great value, especially when you take advantage of two stays and get $25 back. We will always stay here when we are in Prosser.
Our first visit to Yakima area wine county was great! Hotel was comfortable and affordable. Breakfast was typical but good. Why is there never bacon, only sausage? Two pools and hot tubs but water was not very warm in outdoor pool. Only stayed one night. Town was historic and fun to see. Our favorite winery was nearby and we had a wonderful dinner not far from the hotel.
