Best Western Plus Pays du Mont Blanc

On arrival meet by a friendly receptionist Mamoem so helpful and polite. Room was super clean and all the facilities needed. Very spacious and the bed very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant which was lovely with a vast menu choice and fantastic service from both Fabrice & Susama. Meal was not rushed and very well presented. Breakfast was very good with a vast choice both hot & cold. We only stayed for one night while on a business trip but definitely would recommend this hotel to others. Ample parking, friendly staff, very relaxing stay. Thank you

Sadly not a good experience. My main concern is for the staff. They are worked very hard and have their wages deducted for the smallest mistake. I saw one young man be told off for not replacing the ice bowl under the butter packs. The staff seemed lovely but the manager quite dominant. Room 10 has a hairdryer with exposed wires that has been sellotaped back to the wall. On the plus side, breakfast was good and the room was spacious and clean but overall it felt uncomfortable to see the way this hotel treated their staff

It is an option if you want a cheap stay near Chamonix. There are views of the mountains but it depends on the weather. I could not view due to fog covering the mountains. The drive to Chamonix is about an hour and about 2 hours to Geneva from here. The rooms are good with clean bedding. The reception is adequate. There is a restaurant not in the hotel but in a neighboring hotel. I was disappointed that the indoor pool and spa they advertised is not open. At least the website could have let us know. You can get by with English here. The location of the hotel is off the highway and you will have to drive a bit to get to restaurants and other amenities. Parking is free and this is a good benefit.

Unfortunately I had to visit Sallanches due to an accident and by coincidence I got to this hotel. So friendly and they took care of me in a way they didn't have to. Simply being people with good hearts. Besides that super nice hotel!! Breakfast amazing and the food in the restaurant great! All stars to this hotel!

On the plus side: very clean, confortable, and friendly staff..and the breakfast food was great On the not-so-good side: we found that the safety measures against COVID-19 were not great at breakfast : staff were wearing small face shields and not proper masks, and there was no individual food clamps...then a gentleman (owner?) went behind the bar without mask and spoke very loudly, telling someone of. Not great !
