Best Western Hotel Principe di Lampedusa

Nothing great. The rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is nice and the women working it are very thoughtful. The front desk staff is nice enough, but some have very limited English skills and the ones we dealt with were also inexperienced. Our refrigerator didn't work at all and when we reported it after the first night we were told that they would have to contact "administration" the next day to determine what to do, and we never heard anything. We had a triple deluxe room and asked to have the beds as far apart as possible, but they were right next to each other and we when we asked about it, we were told the rooms are all the same despite the fact that one of the ones pictured on the website is substantially a larger space than the others. We were also given an accessible room, which we didn't need or request. Finally, there is no parking here, or a bar for that matter, despite what it says on the website. All they do is direct you to one of the private lots near the hotel, and it's a bit of a circus there. When we asked about parking before arriving, they simply deflected and said they would give us the "details" when we arrived. It's a nice enough stay, but not for the price and the lack of service and parking.

Smart, modern hotel with fridge, safe , plenty of towels and toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Rooms are spacious and reasonably priced for a city hotel. Close to historic centre and a 10 minute walk to the train station. Some nightime noise, inevitably in city centre. Receptionists are friendly and helpful, in particular Valentina. Good breakfast but if you want just an expresso and croissant, there's a nice litle cafe opposite.

We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony on the top floor. It was a great stay, thanks to the wonderful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Location was fantastic, there are many restaurants within an easy walk. Room was very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were unsure of all the hotels we looked at in Palermo but we were glad we settled on this one.

Hotel itself was great clean centrally located BUT there was market outside with drinks and music Which went on until 2-3 am on 4 out of 7 nights so didn't get much sleep They should have told us about the market and loud music before we booked

This was a great location and an ideal hotel to rescue my trip to Palermo. I had booked at another hotel that was rundown and isolated. This hotel lifted my mood and allowed me to enjoy my short stay. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here. Highly recommend it!

Lovely small hotel in the center of town. Our group of 17 completely filled it. Very clean rooms. Excellent breakfast with great cappuccinos. Pleasant staff. Easy to walk around; close to restaurants and shops yet quiet for sleeping. Now a Best Western facility.

The hotel is superbly situated in the heart of Palermo. It is bright and modern and pristine. The bedroom and well-appointed bathroom were excellent. The breakfast was wonderful, with an array of cakes and pastries. The Nutella cake deserves particular mention. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This is a great little hotel right in the heart of the Historic district of Palermo. Close enough to all the sites you'll want to see, Fontana Pretoria, Quattro Canti, the cathedral, the opera house and all the markets. The breakfast buffet was extensive with both savory and sweet offerings. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and professional, especially Vincenzo (our favorite) and Marina. All the staff spoke English very well and had great recommendations about where to go for food and sightseeing and also were NOT to go. The room was clean and large and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Our room even had a small outdoor space but it was too hot to sit out there. We were so happy we stayed here. It was recommended by Nico at WeArePalermo.com and he was spot on! Thank you Nico, Thank you Vincenzo. We will definitely stay here again when in Palermo.

Fabulous location. Short walk to main sights. Staff VERY helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast choice. Bedroom facilities excellent - good Wi-Fi and very clean. You need to pay for parking which is off site and you hand your keys in for this.
