Best Western Hotel Polisina

Traveling back from holidays in South of Europe we decided to treat ourselves (family with 2 14 yrs old kids) to a nice stay. A short search via the Internet brought us to Polisina near (not too near) the Motorway. The Hotel is situated outside the village on a hill looking over a river and the village. Reception was friendly and professional and the two rooms were clean, modern and cosy. The kids tested the indoor pool which is of a good size and surrounded with some relax chairs etc. We were pleasantly surprised to find a brand new wellness area with Turkish steam bath and Sauna at our service. We reserved for diner at the in house restaurant and although it was a busy night (black Saturday weekend) the service was good and the food was delicious. After a good sleep (good quality beds and no outside noises) we had breakfast next morning which was served in buffet style in the restaurant and which was very rich in choices for every taste including fresh fruit etc. In general a nice stay and a worthy ending of our holidays.

Beautiful historic house very close to dining and site seeing. Wonderful set up. Confusing directions and parking. However the host was very accommodating and helped us out when we needed him.

Very nice hotel is a good location. I really liked the look and feel of the hotel. The amentias were good and everyone was very nice and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area.

The hotel was a bit hard to find (through a small road in the dark that my car gps didn't find). But the setting of the hotel was quiet and surrounded by nature. The rooms and bathroom were recently renewed and I had a terrace with chairs and a view on trees. Beds were fine too. Room temperature was adjustable by a radiator (that worked). I loved the large swimming pool (open from 7am till 22pm) with toilets, showers, armchairs and music. At the breakfast area there was no music and it was not all that warm. Bread and toast bread were stale. My coffee cup ran over with coffee due to a mismatch. This was nowhere clearly posted. Grapes in fruit bowl were old. Not my best breakfast experience. This can be improved. Otherwise I still would recommend this hotel. Reasonable price/quality ratio (new rooms and pool included). Large windows in public areas that look into nature is nice.

.. is sometimes hard to describe. From the pictures on the website, I kind of something else. Travelling north from Italy, and have experienced how service should and must be like I was disappointed. Except from this young kid with dark skin. We both were amazed with the passion that he showed to make us comfortable. He was obviously il from the flu. Hopefully. Fever eyes and running nose behind the mask. Working as a waiter in the restaurant. I hope the employer doesn't drive the employees to go to work when il. Cold check in with no information what so ever. Fine renovated room 323. No fridge or air conditioning. Slow internet, as in poor. Excellent view. Bed and lined seems very synthetic. Breakfast fine with hot and cold options. This location is excellent for elderly people on tour busses passing through. Value for money don't at up.

As many Best westerns in Europe, this hotel is in need of refurbishment. The large suite I had was poorly lit and the furniture had seen better days. While the staff is pleasant and there is ample parking, this does not make up for the worn look of the place. With so many better alternatives for a holiday, I cannot recommend this. My GPS led me right to the hotel so that was good.

The hotel is very close to Würzburg. It has plenty of parking in front of it. It has a cosy lobby with a fireplace and a very friendly staff. Our room was big enough, clean and in everything in a good condition. Even that it was just over the restaurant we didnt hear the music. The pool is good and has a warm water. Meals are good but basic, which was ok for us. Dinner starts at 18.00 and normally is a Buffet.

Took me almost 1 hour to find ( GPS couldn't find it ) in the dark. Hotel is big, room is nice , but old fashioned ( typical German ? ), there is a pool. Restaurant is good, breakfast is good, lots of parking outside.

Can't recommend this hotel. It is VERY dated (at least 40 years old) and needs to be updated - didn't have a smoke detector in our room and no air conditioning therefore had to open the windows for relief. Bed VERY uncomfortable and squeaked. The internet did not work at all.

The near vineyards offer a nice view from the hotel. The hotel itself, its facilities and e.g the bar, are nothing special. However, we definitely appreciated the friendly and open-minded service staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were also tasty. The conference room was comfortable.

We booked this hotel to break the journey up while driving back from Munich. We were really pleasantly surprised at the location and coziness of the hotel - quiet and in a nice location. The room was spacious and clean. Lots of outside sitting space as well. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were very good, especially, as there was a wedding party going on in the hotel at the time. We will definitely go back for a slightly longer stay.

A very short stay. I cant fault the service, right from the word go it was good. On departure the girl even came in 20 mins early to make us up some food to take as we left well before breakfast. Room was quiet food in the restaurant nice. The spa looked good but not tested by us. Thanks.

I was here recently for a company event which lasted 3 days. The room was excellent although the view was not - I looked at grass bank. Food was OK, nothing special. The hotle is well appointed. I had the feeling that they really do not have enough staff for such a hotel. The reception was often not manned, the bar also was skimpily manned. We were a group of about thirty people in one room for our meals - which was fine but the service was - how shall I put this - a bit on the basic side. Things were forgotten, wrong drinks brought, etc. One extra person would reduce the staff stress and improve the service a lot. The other thing which was really annoying was the WiFi. This was at first easy to log on to, no problems. But each time the connection was broken - say by leaving the signal range - I had to logon again, using again the name and the password. This is not a great problem but annoying - in these days of WiFi being ubiquitous and eeasy to use, this is not good eneoiugh.

We decided to stay here before heading on to Dresden. It is a wonderful property with an indoor pool and sauna. We gave their restaurant a try and it was delicious too! Extremely helpful staff too! Rooms are a little older and not as posh but very comfortable.
